- 0:00Speaker 1: Now no backs to the Erica Show on G one
- 0:03Speaker 1: oh five. Do you think a relationship can last when
- 0:06Speaker 1: one person's like dead said on moving to another city,
- 0:08Speaker 1: the other one is like never leaving North Carolina? Do
- 0:11Speaker 1: you think they can still make it?
- 0:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Calsie's on the phone. What happened?
- 0:14Speaker 3: Well, I have plans to move to New York City
- 0:17Speaker 3: next year, and I was completely upfront with him when
- 0:20Speaker 3: we started dating, and that wasn't a problem for him.
- 0:24Speaker 3: And now he's just in the last two weeks told
- 0:27Speaker 3: me he has no plans of leaving home ever. He's
- 0:31Speaker 3: going to be in North Carolina until the day dies,
- 0:34Speaker 3: and which kind of makes me want to kill him,
- 0:37Speaker 3: because I told him that this was a thing from
- 0:40Speaker 3: the very beginning. And now I don't know if we
- 0:43Speaker 3: should just break up before investing more time, or see
- 0:47Speaker 3: how it goes and see if you changed his mind.
- 0:50Speaker 1: And you're not willing to try like long distance, if
- 0:53Speaker 1: you were to move, would you be willing to do
- 0:55Speaker 1: a long distance thing?
- 0:56Speaker 4: I don't think so, because it would suggest to me
- 1:01Speaker 4: that if he isn't, if we're not on the same path,
- 1:04Speaker 4: we're not on the same path. And I respect that
- 1:06Speaker 4: and it'll be hard. But if he's not willing to
- 1:11Speaker 4: move knowing that when we started dating that this was
- 1:14Speaker 4: part of the plan, then we're probably just not going
- 1:19Speaker 4: to be on the same path in life. So yeah,
- 1:21Speaker 4: I don't I don't think that the long distance thing
- 1:24Speaker 4: would work necessarily.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I think maybe in his mind, like he thought when
- 1:28Speaker 2: you first started dating, like yeah, I'll be open to
- 1:30Speaker 2: moving someday, And then as time goes on and it
- 1:32Speaker 2: gets closer, you're like, ooh, I actually am not cool
- 1:35Speaker 2: with that.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Do you think their relationship will last? As she's dead
- 1:38Speaker 1: set on going to New York and he's like, Nope,
- 1:40Speaker 1: not leaving North Carolina? Do you think they can survive?
- 1:42Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:42Speaker 2: What should she do?
- 1:43Speaker 5: Nine?
- 1:43Speaker 2: One, nine eight six zho one oh five one do
- 1:45Speaker 2: you know?
- 1:46Speaker 1: Five is the air? Because show Cassie wants to move
- 1:48Speaker 1: to New York City next year. Her boyfriend says he's
- 1:49Speaker 1: never leaving North Carolina. She's like, what do I do?
- 1:52Speaker 1: Do we stay together or break up?
- 1:53Speaker 2: Samantha? What do you think she should do?
- 1:56Speaker 5: I think you should break up with him if New
- 1:59Speaker 5: York is your dream and you have travel plans for
- 2:04Speaker 5: your life and this guy says he's never leaving. Then
- 2:08Speaker 5: you know, I don't think your futures are going to
- 2:09Speaker 5: line up the way you want. Plus, it feels like
- 2:12Speaker 5: he kind of lied to you in the beginning, saying
- 2:14Speaker 5: he was open to it, and now he's not.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Okay, so you're saying, see you later, it's done.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't necessarily think that he lied. I think
- 2:22Speaker 2: that he could. Probably he was like, you know, I
- 2:24Speaker 2: like you, I can I can change my mind. I
- 2:26Speaker 2: can move to New York someday, And this time went on.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Maybe he found out, Yeah, I can't do that.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I mean, it might be a good sign of him
- 2:33Speaker 1: thinking deep down like she's not the one. They're not
- 2:36Speaker 1: the one for each other, and so maybe it is
- 2:37Speaker 1: best to move on, but at least try it long
- 2:40Speaker 1: distance first.
- 2:41Speaker 2: That sounds horrible. I can never do that. You couldn't either.
- 2:43Speaker 1: No, I like to have mine at the house. Do
- 2:45Speaker 1: you want to fives the air? Because show Cassie said
- 2:47Speaker 1: her boyfriend is never leaving North Carolina and she had
- 2:50Speaker 1: planned that they were both gonna move to New York
- 2:52Speaker 1: City next year.
- 2:53Speaker 2: He's like, I ain't going, Wendy. What do you think
- 2:55Speaker 2: Cassie should do? Should they break up? Should they try
- 2:57Speaker 2: to make it work.
- 2:58Speaker 6: Oh man, that's really tough. Like at that point, like,
- 3:01Speaker 6: what is your relationship with the Lord? Because like, is
- 3:03Speaker 6: that a sign that you, guys, maybe won't work out
- 3:07Speaker 6: in the future and you're headed in two totally different
- 3:09Speaker 6: directions and maybe your overall plan for life just isn't
- 3:12Speaker 6: matched up to be with one another, regardless of how
- 3:15Speaker 6: you might feel about each other. So I would definitely
- 3:19Speaker 6: if I didn't want to leave personally, I would have
- 3:22Speaker 6: to leave him.
- 3:23Speaker 1: All right. This is maybe not the news that Cassie
- 3:25Speaker 1: wanted to hear, but it's reality.
