- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York. It's the Mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: some Own show on seven tenor well.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Shutdown is over. We'll get to that. We'll get to
- 0:12Speaker 2: the BBC. They're in big trouble reputation wise. We'll get
- 0:17Speaker 2: to Mom Donnie exactly who is he putting in City
- 0:20Speaker 2: Hall and what does it mean. We'll get to Tiss James.
- 0:22Speaker 2: We'll get to MSNBC. It's in its final week right now.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Friday's the final day of MSNBC. We'll get to Jimmy
- 0:30Speaker 2: Kimmel and his a nutty wife, and a whole lot more.
- 0:32Speaker 2: The shutdown is over, as is the career of Chuck Schumer.
- 0:36Speaker 2: It comes to an end with this. He'll never recover
- 0:39Speaker 2: from this disaster. The Senate voted to end things. They
- 0:43Speaker 2: decided to do it with the same exact deal they
- 0:46Speaker 2: could have had forty five days ago. Nothing changed, absolutely nothing.
- 0:51Speaker 2: A lot of people think they wanted that shutdown on
- 0:54Speaker 2: during the election, thinking it would in some way help
- 0:57Speaker 2: him in the election. But it's over, it's done, and
- 1:03Speaker 2: the House will vote on it. They won't be able
- 1:04Speaker 2: to do it today, probably tomorrow, the House will vote
- 1:06Speaker 2: on it and then the government reopens. As far as
- 1:09Speaker 2: the air traffic controllers, it'll take till the weekend to
- 1:12Speaker 2: get them back. That'll be a slower process. So by
- 1:17Speaker 2: there's still canceling flights today and tomorrow and probably Thursday
- 1:23Speaker 2: as well, but by Friday or Saturday it should be fixed.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Hey.
- 1:26Speaker 2: President Trump said that, you know, a lot of the
- 1:28Speaker 2: air traffic controllers decided if they weren't getting paid, they're
- 1:31Speaker 2: not coming to work. And a lot of them decided
- 1:33Speaker 2: to come to work even without getting paid. And President
- 1:36Speaker 2: Trump said he's going to try to arrange a ten
- 1:39Speaker 2: thousand dollars bonus for every controller that worked through the shutdown,
- 1:44Speaker 2: which is which is a great idea. So it's over.
- 1:48Speaker 2: The shutdown ended. It's now the longest one in history.
- 1:50Speaker 2: The longest before had been twenty eighteen thirty five days.
- 1:55Speaker 2: That was during Donald Trump's presidency. They get shut down
- 1:59Speaker 2: crazy when Trump is in office. So this was the
- 2:01Speaker 2: longest one ever went past the thirty five days. It's
- 2:06Speaker 2: over nothing. They didn't get anything as a result of
- 2:09Speaker 2: the shutdown, but that's always the case. There's never been
- 2:12Speaker 2: a case where any party ever achieved anything with a shutdown.
- 2:17Speaker 2: The shutdown Caucus is zero for fourteen they've never gotten
- 2:20Speaker 2: anything out of it. It's a good thing that it's
- 2:23Speaker 2: over finally and everything gets back to normally. He's the
- 2:26Speaker 2: president based.
- 2:27Speaker 4: On everything I'm hearing. They haven't changed anything, and we
- 2:30Speaker 4: have support from enough Democrats, and we're going to be
- 2:34Speaker 4: opening up our country. Too bad or's closed, but we'll
- 2:37Speaker 4: be opening up our country very quickly. The dealer is
- 2:40Speaker 4: very good.
- 2:41Speaker 5: We're not going to be.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Giving one and a half trillion dollars to people that
- 2:44Speaker 4: came in from jails and from the gangs and drug
- 2:48Speaker 4: dealers and all of these others that they wanted to
- 2:51Speaker 4: be given healthcare, which would have hurt our healthcare system.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that was part of the ridiculous fight on the
- 2:57Speaker 2: Democrats health care for illegals. Now, the other problem is
- 3:00Speaker 2: they're going to have to redo the whole health care plan.
- 3:02Speaker 2: This Affordable Care Act is not affordable, and Democrats proving
- 3:07Speaker 2: that by saying it needs subsidies. It's not affordable. The
- 3:12Speaker 2: Affordable Care Act, the whole idea was affordable health care
- 3:14Speaker 2: for everybody. Well, apparently nobody can afford it because you
- 3:17Speaker 2: need a subsidy to pay for it. If it was affordable,
- 3:20Speaker 2: you wouldn't need that now the real problem is that
- 3:23Speaker 2: Liz Peek explained to us yesterday, the original idea with
- 3:27Speaker 2: Obamacare is you'd force everybody on it, and all the
- 3:33Speaker 2: younger people, say under forty, don't really use much health care,
- 3:36Speaker 2: so they're just paying into the system. And the older
- 3:40Speaker 2: people who use all the healthcare, they might be draining
- 3:44Speaker 2: the money, but all the young people kicking in money
- 3:47Speaker 2: makes up for it and it all evens out. The
- 3:49Speaker 2: problem is the courts didn't like it, and there was
- 3:52Speaker 2: an Act of Congress where they redid the whole thing
- 3:55Speaker 2: where they realized and there was a fear they would
- 3:58Speaker 2: lose this in court. The idea of you a mandate
- 4:00Speaker 2: you have to buy this healthcare that the government couldn't
- 4:03Speaker 2: do that. So the legislation changed that so they were
- 4:07Speaker 2: no longer younger people forced to buy it. And younger
- 4:10Speaker 2: people generally don't buy healthcare if they don't have to.
- 4:13Speaker 2: So it was all just people draining the system, and
- 4:15Speaker 2: that's how it got all screwed up. So they'll have
- 4:18Speaker 2: to redo Obamacare. President Trump knows that we.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Want a healthcare system where we pay the money to
- 4:24Speaker 4: the people instead of the insurance companies.
- 4:26Speaker 2: And I tell you.
- 4:27Speaker 4: We're going to be working on that very hard over
- 4:29Speaker 4: the next short period of time. Where the people get
- 4:32Speaker 4: the money. We're talking about trillions and trillions of dollars,
- 4:34Speaker 4: where the people get the money.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Yeah, now it's his plan he's got someone are calling
- 4:38Speaker 2: it trump care. Problem is, if you call it trump care,
- 4:44Speaker 2: every Democrat's going to get sick immediately and going to
- 4:46Speaker 2: need some health care. If you call it trump care,
- 4:49Speaker 2: will any Democrats sign up for it? But the idea
- 4:51Speaker 2: of trump Care is they'll give you the money and
- 4:53Speaker 2: you go pick your plan. You remember the Obama lie,
- 4:56Speaker 2: The big Obama lie was if you like your doctor,
- 4:59Speaker 2: you can keep your doctor. If you like your plan,
- 5:01Speaker 2: you can keep your plan. Well, none of that turned
- 5:03Speaker 2: out to be true. You couldn't keep your doctor, you
- 5:05Speaker 2: couldn't keep your plan, you lost the choice and all
- 5:08Speaker 2: that with Obamacare. But with the President's plan of just
- 5:11Speaker 2: giving everybody the money, well you can then go out
- 5:16Speaker 2: and pick your own plan. It's a pretty good idea.
- 5:18Speaker 6: You know.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Another thing President wants to do with the tariff situation.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Tariffs will be coming down slowly but surely, but the
- 5:25Speaker 2: tariffs also bring in a lot of revenue. A ton
- 5:29Speaker 2: of revenue come the trillions. President says seventeen trillion. It's
- 5:33Speaker 2: not seventeen trillion, it's more like seven trillion, but you
- 5:37Speaker 2: know him. But it's trillions of dollars coming in in revenue,
- 5:40Speaker 2: and he wants to start distributing that couple thousand dollars
- 5:44Speaker 2: to everybody from the tariffs. You know, the United States
- 5:47Speaker 2: didn't have income tax. There was no income tax at
- 5:50Speaker 2: all in the United States still about nineteen fifteen. And
- 5:54Speaker 2: you'd say, well, how did they find the how did
- 5:58Speaker 2: they pay for the government, how do they fund the government? Well,
- 6:01Speaker 2: with tariffs, there was enough revenue to fund the entire
- 6:04Speaker 2: government just off terraffs President Trump.
- 6:07Speaker 4: The tariffs are very high on India because of the
- 6:09Speaker 4: Russian oil, and they've stopped doing the Russian oil. It's
- 6:13Speaker 4: been reduced very substantially. Yeah, we're going to be bringing
- 6:15Speaker 4: the tariffs down.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Yeah, one by one, each country will get their tariffs
- 6:18Speaker 2: to come down, and then you could start distributing some
- 6:20Speaker 2: money too from the tariffs.
- 6:21Speaker 4: So we're going to issue a dividend to our middle
- 6:25Speaker 4: income people and lower income people of about two thousand dollars,
- 6:29Speaker 4: and we're going to use the remaining tariffs to lower
- 6:31Speaker 4: our debt. We're going to be lowering our debt, which
- 6:33Speaker 4: is a national security thing.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Yeah, so they'll get the check. Now, as you said,
- 6:37Speaker 2: lower and middle income, upper income, the wealthy will not
- 6:41Speaker 2: get a check. Now you're going to say, well, that
- 6:43Speaker 2: screws up the tax cuts for the billionaires. These tax
- 6:47Speaker 2: cuts for billionaires as well, There was never any truth
- 6:51Speaker 2: to that. Every study of the tax cuts show it
- 6:55Speaker 2: was almost all entirely for middle and lower income study
- 7:00Speaker 2: even the Biden IRS studies showed that. But it doesn't
- 7:03Speaker 2: matter as long as you got the media covering for you.
- 7:06Speaker 2: He yelled tax cuts for the wealthy, tax cuts for billionaires,
- 7:10Speaker 2: and they keep repeating it, and after a while you've
- 7:12Speaker 2: repeat something enough everybody believes it. So the big casualty
- 7:16Speaker 2: of the shutdown is Chuck Schumer. Republicans can't stand him,
- 7:20Speaker 2: but now Democrats can't stand him either. He's just a
- 7:23Speaker 2: tired old dinosaur, an old relic, and all his silly
- 7:27Speaker 2: tricks don't work anymore. He did one yesterday. He does
- 7:31Speaker 2: this trick where he's not going to vote for it.
- 7:33Speaker 2: He is going to fight and stand up to this settlement.
- 7:37Speaker 2: He'll vote against it. Meantime, he tells eight other Democrats
- 7:41Speaker 2: go switch over and vote for it. He make sure
- 7:43Speaker 2: it gets passed. He tells eight other people to vote
- 7:46Speaker 2: for it, and he votes against it just to cover himself.
- 7:49Speaker 2: But everybody knows he gave the wink in the nod
- 7:51Speaker 2: to the other people to do it. He's supposed to
- 7:53Speaker 2: hold the line and make sure nobody voted for well,
- 7:56Speaker 2: he arranged for it to pass. But everybody's wise to him.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Now nobody falls for this. Nobody likes the new glasses.
- 8:04Speaker 2: The big swift delos are glasses. But Schumer is done.
- 8:09Speaker 2: The crazy wing of the party, the socialist wing, the
- 8:13Speaker 2: angry woke left wing, obviously they were apt to get him,
- 8:15Speaker 2: primary him, chase him out. But now the moderates, the
- 8:19Speaker 2: middle class realize he's a useless guy. He's just old
- 8:22Speaker 2: and tired and his way of doing it. He's the
- 8:24Speaker 2: Mitch McConnell. He's a Mitch McConnell. Mitch McConnell, Schumer, tired
- 8:28Speaker 2: old fossils. They all gotta go Schumer. I don't know
- 8:32Speaker 2: if he knows it or he realizes it.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Republicans now own this healthcare crisis. They knew what was coming.
- 8:38Speaker 2: We wanted to fix it.
- 8:39Speaker 7: Republicans said no, and now it's on them.
- 8:43Speaker 2: The problem is this, Mom Donnie is pretty slick. Mom Donnie,
- 8:46Speaker 2: you know, he talks fast. He talks really fast, a
- 8:48Speaker 2: mile a minute, and he's just sprays things out. Schumer
- 8:50Speaker 2: puts on the old glasses and reads his index cards
- 8:53Speaker 2: and slowly reads them and you can tell he's reading
- 8:57Speaker 2: it off a card. Not effective anymore, especially in the
- 9:00Speaker 2: fast Mom Donnie age and Schumer just out of touch.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Hey speaking to mom Donnie. All right, he's appointing more people,
- 9:07Speaker 2: naming more people. What's this administration going to be like?
- 9:10Speaker 2: Look like he's appointed Dean fully Hand to be the
- 9:17Speaker 2: first deputy mayor. That's the big job. That's the guy
- 9:20Speaker 2: that actually runs things. That's how Eric Adams turned around
- 9:25Speaker 2: his administration. He brought in the great Randy Mastro, who
- 9:29Speaker 2: was Juliani's a you know, first deputy mayor. He bought
- 9:32Speaker 2: in Randy Mastro a year ago, and Randy Mastro ran
- 9:35Speaker 2: city Hall and he you know, they got Jessica Tistion,
- 9:38Speaker 2: they got him. So that's why you Adam straighten out
- 9:40Speaker 2: the first deputy mayor. That's what really determines how an
- 9:45Speaker 2: administration is going to run. So Mam Donnie has brought
- 9:48Speaker 2: in Dean fully Hand. Now who is he, Well, he
- 9:50Speaker 2: was Deblasio's chief of staff. He was Deblasio's budget director
- 9:55Speaker 2: in the beginning, then became chief of staff for many
- 9:57Speaker 2: years under Deblasio. So as we keep telling you, this
- 10:00Speaker 2: is going to look exactly like Deblasio. We got through.
- 10:05Speaker 2: It was not great Deblasio. Obviously, crime went up and
- 10:08Speaker 2: things got bad, but we got through it. We got
- 10:10Speaker 2: through eight years of Deblasio. You'll probably be able to
- 10:14Speaker 2: get through, Mom Donnie. Dean full of Hand will run things.
- 10:17Speaker 2: He's a Doblasio guy. He'll run it de Blasio style. Now.
- 10:22Speaker 2: The only problem is this Dean full of Hand is
- 10:25Speaker 2: the most connected guy in Albany with the Assembly, with
- 10:29Speaker 2: the legislature. He's worked up there. That's how I got
- 10:31Speaker 2: to know Mam Donni. He kind of mentored Mam Donni.
- 10:34Speaker 2: But he's a powerful guy with the legislature. The problem
- 10:37Speaker 2: there is if he's the first deputy mayor, if he's
- 10:39Speaker 2: the key guy in the Mamdani administration, he's a guy
- 10:43Speaker 2: will have klout with the legislature if they want to
- 10:45Speaker 2: get something passed, he can really push it through. That's
- 10:48Speaker 2: a problem. That's he'll have a lot of influence with
- 10:51Speaker 2: the legislature. Now, remember anything that passes, Hulkal has to
- 10:56Speaker 2: sign it. Of course, he's a terrible coward. If there's
- 11:00Speaker 2: any political pressure, she'll usually cave. But Hokel is the
- 11:03Speaker 2: one pushing Mom Donnie to keep Jessica Tish. Mom Donnie
- 11:09Speaker 2: would have no interest in keeping Jessica dish, but it's
- 11:11Speaker 2: Hocal that keeps pushing that. Now, I don't know in
- 11:14Speaker 2: the end, once Ma'm Donnie's in there and feels comfortable,
- 11:17Speaker 2: I don't know if Hkal have any influence over him anymore.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Probably not promise Jessica Tish. She's a good police commission
- 11:26Speaker 2: but she's very tough and strong, and if you look
- 11:28Speaker 2: at the Adams administration, she was pretty tough standing up
- 11:32Speaker 2: to Eric Adams, pushing back on things Adams put up
- 11:38Speaker 2: with it. Mom Donnie probably won't, probably won't. He's not
- 11:42Speaker 2: looking for somebody to push back on him, so he
- 11:47Speaker 2: would not tolerate it. And Jessica Tish, very wealthy woman,
- 11:50Speaker 2: doesn't need the job, would leave in a second. Who
- 11:53Speaker 2: would Mam Donnie bring In. He's a. High on his
- 11:56Speaker 2: list is Rodney Harrison, former ny IPD Chief of Department,
- 12:02Speaker 2: Big big NYPD got He left a few years ago,
- 12:05Speaker 2: became the Suffolk County Police Chief. Did a good job.
- 12:10Speaker 2: You ask good people in the NYPD, they'll say, yeah,
- 12:13Speaker 2: Rodney here says he's good. He's good. They don't rave
- 12:15Speaker 2: about him. They wouldn't be thrilled about him, but they
- 12:19Speaker 2: wouldn't be too upset. He's a he's pretty good. But
- 12:23Speaker 2: look for him. High on the list. If Jessica Tish leaves. Now,
- 12:27Speaker 2: all this Mamdani stuff, the free buses, he has absolutely
- 12:32Speaker 2: no authority to make. He has no control of the buses.
- 12:35Speaker 2: That's strictly the MTA, and that's controlled by the governor.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Does Hulko want free buses now?
- 12:40Speaker 4: I cannot set forth a plan right now that takes
- 12:44Speaker 4: money out of a system that relies on the fares
- 12:47Speaker 4: of the buses and the subways.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Yeah. So, however, he could kind of do the free
- 12:54Speaker 2: buses by what de Blasio did with the subway. Just
- 12:58Speaker 2: tell everybody, you're you're not going to do anything about
- 13:01Speaker 2: turnstile jumping. You're not going to arrest anybody for that.
- 13:05Speaker 2: And remember during the Blasio nobody paid on the subject. Well,
- 13:08Speaker 2: normal people did, but everybody else just jumped the turnstile
- 13:10Speaker 2: so he could announce, if you don't pay the bus fare,
- 13:13Speaker 2: we're not going to arrest you. That kind of stuff.
- 13:15Speaker 2: But Mom Donnie, he did promise those buses.
- 13:17Speaker 5: I continue to be excited at the work of making
- 13:22Speaker 5: the slowest busses in America fast and free, and I
- 13:25Speaker 5: appreciate the Governor's continued partnership and delivering on that agenda
- 13:31Speaker 5: of affordability.
- 13:32Speaker 2: The slowest buses in America, well, that's the result of traffic.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Has nothing to do with making the bus free. That's
- 13:38Speaker 2: a traffic thing. Now, one good thing about mom Donnie,
- 13:41Speaker 2: And everybody's threatening to leave, So Mom Donnie may solve
- 13:45Speaker 2: our traffic problem. He may end gridlocked just by everybody leaving,
- 13:48Speaker 2: So you've got to give him credit for that.
- 13:49Speaker 5: I'm just as excited as I was about free buses
- 13:52Speaker 5: today as I was more than a year ago. This
- 13:53Speaker 5: is the work that will animate so much of what
- 13:55Speaker 5: the three of us in what our City Hall will
- 13:57Speaker 5: do is to ensure that we are living up to
- 13:59Speaker 5: those promises and transforming politics as we know.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Yeah, Now, if you have free buses, everybody says that, well,
- 14:06Speaker 2: they'll just turn into homeless shelters. The homeless we'll just
- 14:09Speaker 2: get on the bus and just stay there, just sleep
- 14:11Speaker 2: there all day and night. So hey, Tish James are sleazy,
- 14:17Speaker 2: dirty Attorney General Letitia James. You know she's got these indictments.
- 14:22Speaker 2: She's got probably here, there's more indictments coming. Mortgage fraud.
- 14:27Speaker 2: She bought these houses. We had no idea about this
- 14:31Speaker 2: because the media totally corrupt, never ever investigates anything, so
- 14:35Speaker 2: we didn't know while she's our attorney general why she's
- 14:39Speaker 2: conducting lawfare against Donald Trump. She's also a slum lord.
- 14:42Speaker 2: That's her hobby, being a slumlord, buying these broken down
- 14:45Speaker 2: houses in Virginia, and a couple of them she stuck
- 14:49Speaker 2: family members in this the one, the famous one with
- 14:52Speaker 2: the mortgage fraud that she said was her primary residence.
- 14:55Speaker 2: She stuck her niece in there. And apparently a lot
- 14:58Speaker 2: of criminals in this family piece is jump parole. She's
- 15:02Speaker 2: a wanted fugitive. She's been staying in the house and
- 15:06Speaker 2: apparently since Letitia James bought that house and put her
- 15:09Speaker 2: relative in there, police have been called to the house
- 15:13Speaker 2: multiple times. Dozens and dozens and dozens of times. Police
- 15:17Speaker 2: have been called there for domestic issues, for suspicious characters,
- 15:22Speaker 2: all sorts of stuff. According to police reports, they were
- 15:25Speaker 2: sometimes called there multiple times in one day. This is
- 15:29Speaker 2: a Tis James family. Pretty sleezy, pretty sleezy. It's in
- 15:35Speaker 2: the genes, I guess. Anyway, Hey, we'll take some calls
- 15:38Speaker 2: in a minute. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 15:42Speaker 2: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 15:46Speaker 2: seven to ten.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Set up pre sat on the iHeartRadio app to douboor
- 15:51Speaker 1: to hear Mark live. Set another for Mark's podcast to
- 15:54Speaker 1: hear him any time. Now back to Mark zimone on
- 15:58Speaker 1: do woor.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to uh Frank
- 16:04Speaker 2: in Arizona. Frank, how you doing?
- 16:07Speaker 3: Hi? Mark? Mark.
- 16:08Speaker 6: Every time to cap or a Korean War or Vietnam War,
- 16:14Speaker 6: had the World wars, I'd say thank you for your service.
- 16:18Speaker 6: And I always ask them to shake their hands to
- 16:21Speaker 6: anybody like where your were and what you did, and
- 16:24Speaker 6: now you ever sit down. Nobody's interested, And I said,
- 16:29Speaker 6: you know, you have to get the same answer in
- 16:32Speaker 6: school anymore. These kids today have to know what you
- 16:34Speaker 6: guys American history.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Well, yeah, that's the big the biggest problem, too big,
- 16:39Speaker 2: the two biggest problems trying to run in democracies when
- 16:41Speaker 2: you have totally corrupt media, totally slanted biased. Then the
- 16:45Speaker 2: university's got hijacked a couple of decades ago and they've
- 16:48Speaker 2: become woke in doctrine nation centers and not teaching real
- 16:52Speaker 2: American history and all that stuff. Let's go to uh
- 16:55Speaker 2: Phil and queens Phil. How you doing?
- 16:59Speaker 8: Hey, how you doing?
- 17:00Speaker 9: Happy Veterans Day to all the veterans. I think they're
- 17:02Speaker 9: fifteen million or so. I had a crazy idea last night.
- 17:06Speaker 9: I wanted to run it by you. I think President
- 17:08Speaker 9: Trump should invite bib Netanyahoo to New York City and
- 17:13Speaker 9: they should show up at the inauguration, and also invite
- 17:18Speaker 9: everybody else who should have a mostly peaceful protest. Maybe
- 17:22Speaker 9: a lot of the people who show up.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Well, I don't think he's going to do that, but
- 17:25Speaker 2: there has been Mamdanni has said he will arrest bb
- 17:28Speaker 2: netnau if he comes to New York, which of course
- 17:30Speaker 2: is just absolutely ludicrous. But President Trump has said if
- 17:35Speaker 2: bb netnah who wants to come to New York. He
- 17:38Speaker 2: will have federal agents escort him and guard him and
- 17:41Speaker 2: protect him from any crazy crap. Mom Donnie might try
- 17:44Speaker 2: to pull so at some point, not the inauguration, but
- 17:47Speaker 2: at some point they may. He may have to come
- 17:49Speaker 2: here to address the un or something. The President has
- 17:52Speaker 2: said he will protect Netna who at all times from
- 17:55Speaker 2: Mom Donnie. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave, how you.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Doing morning, Mark.
- 18:00Speaker 7: I'm doing very well, Thank you.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Mark.
- 18:02Speaker 7: I watched in fascination yesterday President Trump's swearing in of
- 18:08Speaker 7: the Syrian president by Vice President jd.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Vance.
- 18:12Speaker 7: A couple of things stuck out. Judge Janine Piro is
- 18:16Speaker 7: all business, and she was directing where a number of
- 18:19Speaker 7: the officials should stand behind President Trump. I believe this
- 18:23Speaker 7: was buy his requests. And amongst other things, President Trump
- 18:28Speaker 7: said that at some point soon we are going to
- 18:30Speaker 7: see gas prices dropped to two dollars a gallon. And lastly, Mark,
- 18:35Speaker 7: he was speaking about taking a lot of those tariffs
- 18:38Speaker 7: money and giving it to the poor and middle just
- 18:42Speaker 7: as we just said what you just mentioned, yes, sir.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Yeah, but gas prices are coming down all over the
- 18:48Speaker 2: place now. People in New York say, I don't matter
- 18:49Speaker 2: if still have four dollars ago. Well, that's New York,
- 18:52Speaker 2: that's New York State, that's New Jersey. That taxing the
- 18:55Speaker 2: hell out of every gawn, I guess. But they are
- 18:58Speaker 2: down dramatically. The places where they're coming down very slow
- 19:02Speaker 2: rate in New York and California. But that's due to
- 19:05Speaker 2: state tax and city tax, all sorts of gas taxes.
- 19:07Speaker 2: But if you look around the country, state by state,
- 19:10Speaker 2: they've come down. Trump loves this new Syrian leader.
- 19:12Speaker 4: I've had an agreement with him. He's a very strong leader.
- 19:16Speaker 4: He comes from a very tough place and he's tough guy.
- 19:20Speaker 2: I liked him. I get along with him.
- 19:22Speaker 4: The president, the new president of Syria.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so it'll be a well Gi'll get something out
- 19:27Speaker 2: of him. Let's go to Patrick and east Chester. Patrick.
- 19:29Speaker 8: How you doing, hey, Mark? Yes, I'm actually a veteran
- 19:33Speaker 8: and I was drafted a number of years ago.
- 19:35Speaker 2: You were in the military.
- 19:37Speaker 8: Yes, you know Vietnam conflict.
- 19:39Speaker 2: But were you on our side?
- 19:42Speaker 3: Yes, it was, it was.
- 19:43Speaker 8: On our side. But what must might bring a smile
- 19:46Speaker 8: to the face of several of you New York listeners
- 19:49Speaker 8: when they drafted you years ago, they would actually send
- 19:52Speaker 8: a subway token in the mail. When you'd get a
- 19:54Speaker 8: letter in the mail, a formal draft notice that you
- 19:57Speaker 8: were drafted and inducted and you had to report on
- 19:59Speaker 8: a certain day. And David Scott Staper subway too. They're kidding, yes,
- 20:03Speaker 8: and it'll bring a smile to the face of a
- 20:05Speaker 8: lot of your New York area listeners. So you couldn't
- 20:08Speaker 8: say A person couldn't say, well, like the reason why
- 20:11Speaker 8: I couldn't report I had no money, you know, to
- 20:13Speaker 8: get to Wright Wall Street, you know, for the induction.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Congratulations, We thank you for your service. Another great veteran here.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Now for your kids listening right now, going, what the
- 20:24Speaker 2: hell is a subway token? This is going to sound
- 20:26Speaker 2: crazy to you. It was a look like a coin,
- 20:29Speaker 2: like a big coin. You had to have this token.
- 20:32Speaker 2: You know, if you're a kid today, you don't know
- 20:34Speaker 2: what we're talking about. You don't even never heard of
- 20:36Speaker 2: a phone booth. You don't know what a TV antenna is.
- 20:41Speaker 2: You had to put the token in a slot. You
- 20:43Speaker 2: had to buy tokens and carry them around in your pocket.
- 20:48Speaker 2: You know, the kids today, they don't even know what
- 20:49Speaker 2: a metro card is. You just pay with your iPhone.
- 20:51Speaker 2: But let's go to Tom and Queen's Tom. How you doing?
- 20:56Speaker 9: Hey Mark, Good morning again, slut to the veterans today.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Question for you.
- 21:01Speaker 9: Now that we know that Schumer is going to be out,
- 21:04Speaker 9: does that open.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Up the door for Andrew Cuomo? Right?
- 21:08Speaker 2: Yeah, please? I just ate? Oh my god? Yes, what
- 21:15Speaker 2: do you think?
- 21:16Speaker 3: You know?
- 21:17Speaker 2: Clomo is finished? I don't know that he knows it.
- 21:24Speaker 2: I think he thinks he can run again for something.
- 21:26Speaker 2: He can't. He's finished, but he cannot run for Schumer's
- 21:29Speaker 2: seat because when Schumer leaving, it's going to be the
- 21:32Speaker 2: AOC types that we're going to go after that seat,
- 21:35Speaker 2: the progressives, the woke, and't remember. Schumer looks like an old,
- 21:41Speaker 2: old old relic, like a tired old dinosaur, and Cuomo
- 21:46Speaker 2: has that same look. He's another Schumer's that they're not
- 21:50Speaker 2: gonna They're all out to get Schumer, but they're not
- 21:52Speaker 2: going to replace him with another Schumer. So Clomo had
- 21:55Speaker 2: no shot at that seat. Rumor has he wants to
- 21:58Speaker 2: move to Florida. You never know, you never know. You know,
- 22:04Speaker 2: all these people he hangs out with his donors, they're
- 22:06Speaker 2: all also in Florida, so they may be you know,
- 22:08Speaker 2: maybe he thinks he's got a shot down there at something,
- 22:11Speaker 2: but again he's he's just Chuck Schumer. He's the same look,
- 22:14Speaker 2: the same era, the same everything. So he can't run
- 22:18Speaker 2: for that. Hey, when we come back, Bill O'Reilly will
- 22:20Speaker 2: be with us next. Lots to talk about with him
- 22:22Speaker 2: on seven to ten wor.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Here's more Mark Simone on seven Game wr Well.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly the number one TV A goer for decades,
- 22:32Speaker 2: the number one best selling nonfiction author on Earth. His
- 22:36Speaker 2: latest book, Confronting Evil. Excellent book if you haven't gotten
- 22:40Speaker 2: it yet, it's a big best seller. Confronting Evil. Order that.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Make sure you watch Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel. Excellent stuff there,
- 22:47Speaker 2: and of course the TV show the column Everything's at
- 22:50Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly,
- 22:54Speaker 2: how you doing all right?
- 22:56Speaker 3: Just spend and cruising into another busy newsweek.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Hey, the shutdown it looks like but you know the
- 23:07Speaker 2: history of this, no party's ever achieved anything with a shutdown.
- 23:10Speaker 2: You never get anything out of it, do you.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Not? To the American people who were securely political play
- 23:20Speaker 3: Democrats believe that they did have a victory because of
- 23:25Speaker 3: the election results. So that's what they believe. And it
- 23:29Speaker 3: might be true that people were so angry about high
- 23:34Speaker 3: food prices in the government shutdown, and when historically when
- 23:39Speaker 3: the folks get mad, the American people, they vote against
- 23:43Speaker 3: the incumbency. That goes all the way back to John
- 23:46Speaker 3: Adams by the way. So I mean, this is what
- 23:50Speaker 3: Americans are. We're an impatient people. We don't see the
- 23:55Speaker 3: big pictures sometimes. But the government will reopen this week
- 23:59Speaker 3: and then we'll have to go through this again in January,
- 24:02Speaker 3: the same thing. It's crazy.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Yeah. Is the president serious about giving everybody a check
- 24:07Speaker 2: for two thousand dollars from the tariff revenue?
- 24:10Speaker 3: Sure, he's very serious. I did a message of the
- 24:14Speaker 3: day on Bill Oreilly dot com and it's a little
- 24:17Speaker 3: bit more to it than people know. I don't know
- 24:20Speaker 3: logistically if he's going to have an easy time getting
- 24:23Speaker 3: the money out of the treasury or not, because Congress
- 24:26Speaker 3: is going to try to say, hey, we have to
- 24:29Speaker 3: have a say in this, and then it gets litigated.
- 24:32Speaker 3: You know how that goes. But the reason that Trump
- 24:36Speaker 3: is able to get all the tariff money in here
- 24:39Speaker 3: is because of us, we the people. Because he's essentially
- 24:44Speaker 3: charging an admissions fee to all the countries around the
- 24:48Speaker 3: world to do business in the United States, like a
- 24:50Speaker 3: cover charge, because we buy more stuff by far than
- 24:58Speaker 3: any other people on earth, and so everybody wants to
- 25:02Speaker 3: send their stuff to America because we buy it, and
- 25:08Speaker 3: under the other administrations, they could do that without any
- 25:12Speaker 3: admission fee, and it was hurting our domestic sales because
- 25:18Speaker 3: those countries Japan, Korea, China, on and on India wouldn't
- 25:24Speaker 3: take a lot of American goods. And Trump got in
- 25:28Speaker 3: and said, this is ridiculous. So you're gonna have to
- 25:31Speaker 3: take our stuff, and you're gonna have to pay a
- 25:33Speaker 3: cover charge to sell your stuff in Indianapolis, so that
- 25:38Speaker 3: we the people are part of this tariff money flowing
- 25:44Speaker 3: into the US treasury, so we earn the money the
- 25:48Speaker 3: two thousand. But it's not going to be easy for
- 25:51Speaker 3: him to get that out.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Yeah, now you put it out. It's like the Democrats,
- 25:55Speaker 2: you know, they'd love to give away free stuff. Is
- 25:57Speaker 2: Trump learning a lesson from that, copying that?
- 26:00Speaker 3: Yeah? But this is this is the easiest way. So
- 26:03Speaker 3: it's pretty hard to bring down the price of steak
- 26:07Speaker 3: because you've got fifteen people involved in the steak. You
- 26:10Speaker 3: got the cowboys, got the meat packing plants, you got
- 26:14Speaker 3: the truckers, you got the grocery stores. It's pretty hard,
- 26:20Speaker 3: but saying, Okay, that's going to take me two years
- 26:25Speaker 3: to get that under control, but it will take me
- 26:27Speaker 3: twenty minutes to send you a two thousand dollars check
- 26:29Speaker 3: to cover the high cross to food. That's what this
- 26:33Speaker 3: is and that's what he's doing.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Yeah, now, Bill O'Reilly, are we done with Andrew Cuomo?
- 26:39Speaker 2: I love the way you describe him. I'm reading your message,
- 26:42Speaker 2: Bela Lagosi. That's the perfect description.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Didn't he look like it looked like though. I told him,
- 26:47Speaker 3: you know, if you just turned into a bat just twice,
- 26:51Speaker 3: he would have been elected. He was looking grayer and grayer,
- 26:57Speaker 3: and paler and paler, and just I said, that's Bella
- 27:01Speaker 3: Lagosy out there, reincarnated. Are you through with Andrew Crmo
- 27:06Speaker 3: as far as an elected official? You are? Oh?
- 27:09Speaker 2: Goody.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Well, what he is going to do, and I know
- 27:13Speaker 3: this to be a fact, is behind the scenes, try
- 27:16Speaker 3: to reorganize the New York Democratic Party and purge the
- 27:21Speaker 3: radical elements. So that's what he's going to do, and
- 27:26Speaker 3: I hope he's successful.
- 27:27Speaker 2: We watched him in the primary try to battle the relic,
- 27:32Speaker 2: you know, radical elements, and he was useless at that.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Yeah, but now he's mad, so he's a little bit
- 27:41Speaker 3: more motivated. Now it's personal, as they say in The Godfather.
- 27:46Speaker 3: But that's what he's gonna do.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Well, that would be great if he did that, But
- 27:49Speaker 2: isn't that like Schumer trying to take on AOC. It's
- 27:52Speaker 2: not going to work.
- 27:54Speaker 3: I don't know whether to work or not. It's all
- 27:56Speaker 3: about money, you know. The money asked of the far
- 28:01Speaker 3: left is the Sorows people. That's where it all comes from.
- 28:05Speaker 3: And then there's other organizations that tie in Ford Foundation
- 28:09Speaker 3: all of those. But the erratical left has an enormous
- 28:13Speaker 3: amount of money, way more than the moderate Democrats. And
- 28:17Speaker 3: I think that's what they're going to try to work on,
- 28:19Speaker 3: is to build up the war chest for moderate Democrats
- 28:24Speaker 3: that may want to run against the aocs, and Schumer,
- 28:28Speaker 3: by the way he's done, he's not going to even
- 28:31Speaker 3: run again. You heard it here on the Mark Simone Show,
- 28:34Speaker 3: because they'll lose to Acosio Cortes and he doesn't want
- 28:38Speaker 3: to go out that way.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Yeah. You know the problem is if you give the
- 28:42Speaker 2: erradical Mamdani zillions of dollars. He does these very effective
- 28:46Speaker 2: TikTok stuff. And if you do, if you give it
- 28:50Speaker 2: to a Schumer or a Cuomo, they do these tired
- 28:52Speaker 2: old commercials. I'm Andrew Cuomo, vote for you. Can they
- 28:56Speaker 2: be effective in today's world even with the money?
- 28:59Speaker 3: Look, it's a rapidly changing world. I've hung in there
- 29:03Speaker 3: in journalism for more than fifty years. There are only
- 29:07Speaker 3: two of us on the national scene, two that have
- 29:13Speaker 3: this kind of longevity, me and Brick Hume. And I
- 29:19Speaker 3: have to tell you, I don't know anything about TikTok.
- 29:23Speaker 3: I don't care about any of it. But my younger
- 29:30Speaker 3: staff they are in charge of marketing my products on
- 29:38Speaker 3: social media because that's where it is. That's where all
- 29:41Speaker 3: the action is, and it's never coming back to the
- 29:45Speaker 3: networks or cable TV. Never it's over. So even though
- 29:51Speaker 3: I don't know anything, I'm a rudite. Means you can't
- 29:55Speaker 3: do technology, and I can't. I'm spartting up to hire
- 29:58Speaker 3: people who can't. And that's where we are.
- 30:02Speaker 2: You're an expert on content. That's the secret of you.
- 30:04Speaker 2: You come up with great content.
- 30:05Speaker 3: I have to spend all my time actually thinking yeah,
- 30:09Speaker 3: which separates me from every other, not every other, but
- 30:14Speaker 3: most other pundits, particularly on television. You don't think they
- 30:18Speaker 3: get talking points in the morning and they spit them out.
- 30:22Speaker 3: I hate that. Oh it guys me crazy.
- 30:25Speaker 2: So I'm watching the Sunday shows. Every single Democratic guests
- 30:28Speaker 2: used the same phrase. If President Trump didn't spend all
- 30:30Speaker 2: his time on the golf course, every guest on every show.
- 30:34Speaker 3: That's what they got in the morning to them.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Where is it sent from? Who coordinates this?
- 30:40Speaker 3: The K Street in Washington, There are three or four
- 30:44Speaker 3: firms that work for the Democratic Party. They get paid
- 30:48Speaker 3: enormous amounts of money to do that. And every morning
- 30:52Speaker 3: they have a list of people in Mani Media and
- 30:55Speaker 3: a lot of Congress people, and they get faxes this
- 31:00Speaker 3: is the talking points of the day. And the Republicans
- 31:03Speaker 3: do it too, but they're not nearly as good at it.
- 31:06Speaker 3: And the people go out then they go out on
- 31:10Speaker 3: their programs and they spit the same verbiage at almost
- 31:14Speaker 3: word for word. That's how it's done. That's called propaganda, okay.
- 31:20Speaker 3: And you know the guy that perfected that is Goebels,
- 31:23Speaker 3: who worked for Hitler. He was the Minister of Propaganda
- 31:28Speaker 3: in the Third Reich. And what he did once Hitler
- 31:31Speaker 3: took over in nineteen thirty four was he basically sent,
- 31:37Speaker 3: you know, a faction center or anything, but messengered all
- 31:41Speaker 3: the news media in Berlin saying this is what you
- 31:45Speaker 3: are to say tonight or today, or this is what
- 31:49Speaker 3: you put in your newspaper. And they did have radio
- 31:54Speaker 3: or in Santa radio and if you didn't say it,
- 31:58Speaker 3: guess what happened.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Wow. Well we're at a time. But everybody, if you
- 32:03Speaker 2: want to read more stuff like this, get Bill O'Reilly's
- 32:05Speaker 2: latest book, Confronting Evil. It is a fascinating book. All
- 32:09Speaker 2: of his books are they're all great bestsellers. And check
- 32:12Speaker 2: out his YouTube channel, and of course get the TV show,
- 32:16Speaker 2: the column, the Message of the day. Everything's at Bill
- 32:18Speaker 2: O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly thanks
