- 0:00Speaker 1: If you are looking to make some money betting Monday
- 0:02Speaker 1: night football Steelers Dolphins, You've come to the right place.
- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the best betting show ever.
- 0:06Speaker 1: I am, of course, Brian Power once again sitting in
- 0:11Speaker 1: for Lawrence President, and I am joined but my good
- 0:14Speaker 1: friend and yours Joe Rnary, Just Joe and I here
- 0:18Speaker 1: on a Monday to the delights of Joe.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Let us start to the week for you. This must
- 0:22Speaker 2: be mister Venieri.
- 0:24Speaker 3: This is I mean, I I've been thinking about this
- 0:27Speaker 3: all weekend, Like, wow, how lucky am I to get
- 0:31Speaker 3: up on a Monday and get the news that pres
- 0:34Speaker 3: is not available, which is exciting on its own merits,
- 0:39Speaker 3: But then the idea that but don't worry, Brian Power
- 0:42Speaker 3: is here to fill in. This just keeps getting better
- 0:46Speaker 3: and better as we end the year here.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Well, I don't know, I don't know if you have
- 0:50Speaker 2: the graphic teed up.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I guess as you probably have it somewhere any but
- 0:54Speaker 1: it is a out of the fryer into the frying
- 0:56Speaker 1: pan kind of situation. Me dumpster, there we go, all right,
- 1:02Speaker 1: Miami and Pittsburgh, guys, it's great to be here, by
- 1:04Speaker 1: the way, smash that like but I'm happy to be here.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Oh about Joe, he's busting on all the old Yes.
- 1:13Speaker 4: That's great, awful comments, those comments coming, By the way,
- 1:20Speaker 4: I have read your comments over the last several days,
- 1:22Speaker 4: Joe and I I think the people have really been
- 1:25Speaker 4: enjoying it.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Joe, and let's give him something else to enjoy here
- 1:28Speaker 1: as we talk Dolphins and Steelers. A very interesting Monday
- 1:32Speaker 1: night matchup. Uh even the match teams you look, you know,
- 1:36Speaker 1: from a point differential perspective, from a yards per play,
- 1:39Speaker 1: a differential perspective, he seems are pretty even. So I'm
- 1:42Speaker 1: not surprised at all. The Steelers just laying a field
- 1:45Speaker 1: goal here at home should probably I think, you know,
- 1:49Speaker 1: by the time most people are watching this Monday afternoon,
- 1:51Speaker 1: a lot of people are probably aware of this. But
- 1:53Speaker 1: let's just in case they aren't, let's make it clear. Uh,
- 1:56Speaker 1: to a stinks when it's cold, and it's gonna be
- 1:58Speaker 1: cold tonight in Pittsburgh. And then Mike Tomlin is phenomenal
- 2:02Speaker 1: on Monday night football. So Joe, the trends would favor
- 2:06Speaker 1: a play on the Steelers here. What do you favor,
- 2:09Speaker 1: my good friend.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Let's see if let's see we can't shed some light
- 2:16Speaker 3: on what we think. Let's start with the from a
- 2:19Speaker 3: point perspective here, where are the points coming from? Exactly
- 2:24Speaker 3: in this game are they? Because I'm having even from
- 2:27Speaker 3: a prop betting perspective, I'm having a hard time figuring
- 2:31Speaker 3: out because I certainly favor the under in this game.
- 2:35Speaker 3: I just don't know. Are we going to accumulate a
- 2:39Speaker 3: lot of yards in this game and a lot of
- 2:42Speaker 3: field goals or is this game just going to be
- 2:46Speaker 3: played between the thirty yard lines and that's it? Because
- 2:49Speaker 3: I mean, even anytime touchdowns, you would think, you know,
- 2:53Speaker 3: Chan says he's going, but he could be one hit
- 2:56Speaker 3: away from not going anymore. In that game. There are
- 3:00Speaker 3: a lot of plus money prices for any time touchdowns
- 3:03Speaker 3: in this game. But again, if I'm thinking this is
- 3:06Speaker 3: an under, how many touchdowns are we getting? BP? Do
- 3:09Speaker 3: you think in this spot?
- 3:11Speaker 1: So you brought up something that I was thinking of
- 3:14Speaker 1: as well, that I think this game we're going to
- 3:16Speaker 1: see is gonna be spent between the thirties and there's
- 3:18Speaker 1: gonna be a lot of what they call empty yards.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I think there's gonna be a lot of drives that
- 3:23Speaker 1: take time off the clock and result in nothing. Both
- 3:26Speaker 1: of these offenses should, and I do stress the word should,
- 3:31Speaker 1: have success running the football. You mentioned eighth chan is
- 3:34Speaker 1: good to go. Well, the Steelers defense, I mean they
- 3:37Speaker 1: used to be you know, for decades there was their
- 3:40Speaker 1: calling hard on defense, stopping the run.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Not this group.
- 3:43Speaker 1: They're twenty eighth in the league in EPA per rush
- 3:45Speaker 1: all out? Are the Steelers? Now the Dolphins are twenty
- 3:48Speaker 1: eighth in the league in just yards per rush all
- 3:50Speaker 1: out kind of a more traditional statistic there. So I
- 3:53Speaker 1: think both of these team offenses are going to move
- 3:56Speaker 1: the ball running, but not necessarily. I don't like you
- 4:00Speaker 1: alluded to a moment ago there, Joe, I don't know
- 4:02Speaker 1: how many points that results in. I just think there's
- 4:05Speaker 1: a lot of drives that take to time off the
- 4:08Speaker 1: clock and don't result in anything. And if you're an
- 4:11Speaker 1: underbetter that's what you want. That's the script, right, Drives
- 4:15Speaker 1: that just don't you know, drives to take time off
- 4:17Speaker 1: the clock and result in no points.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Well, the other problem you have is that you know,
- 4:21Speaker 3: Miami hasn't cracked the two hundred net yards passing since
- 4:26Speaker 3: October thirtieth, So you know that's the other problem is
- 4:30Speaker 3: that Okay, I mean this isn't and I know they've
- 4:33Speaker 3: been a grind him out kind of team here on
- 4:36Speaker 3: the ground, which is great, but again, where are the
- 4:40Speaker 3: points coming from? I do think the guy that's going
- 4:42Speaker 3: to have a ton of success in this game, in
- 4:45Speaker 3: the passing a game, I think the Steelers are where
- 4:48Speaker 3: I would focus and Kenneth Gainwell because he is one
- 4:51Speaker 3: of the better, more productive backs catching the ball out
- 4:56Speaker 3: of the backfield, the screen game, the short up off passes.
- 5:00Speaker 3: He's been fantastic for Pittsburgh. Miami's defense also ranks thirtieth
- 5:06Speaker 3: against opposing running backs when it comes to receiving, so
- 5:10Speaker 3: they don't cover him very well. And the other thing
- 5:12Speaker 3: you got to be careful of is that Miami is
- 5:15Speaker 3: a top ten blitzing team in the NFL. Did you
- 5:20Speaker 3: just see what Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers did against
- 5:23Speaker 3: the Baltimore blitz He nailed him for one hundred and
- 5:26Speaker 3: twenty one yards in the air on three d passes
- 5:29Speaker 3: that all of a sudden they opened up the playbook here.
- 5:32Speaker 3: So it feels like advantage Pittsburgh and that's where I
- 5:36Speaker 3: would look at. But I think Gainwell's receiving prop is
- 5:39Speaker 3: probably one of the better bets on the board here tonight.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you know your point about the Dolphins passing game.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I want to go back to that and how they
- 5:49Speaker 1: haven't gone back two hundred. Well, let's go back to
- 5:52Speaker 1: the very start of the show, the trend I shared
- 5:54Speaker 1: about Tua in the cold. Now, I know a lot
- 5:57Speaker 1: of people are going to bring up, well, it was
- 5:58Speaker 1: forty one degrees last week. Because the arbitrary cutoff number
- 6:02Speaker 1: that everyone uses for Tua is forty degrees or colder.
- 6:05Speaker 1: He's zero to five all time in games where the
- 6:08Speaker 1: kickoff temperatures forty degrees are lower. He did win last
- 6:11Speaker 1: week and it was forty one degrees. It's going to
- 6:13Speaker 1: be twenty something degrees tonight in Pittsburgh. So it's not
- 6:15Speaker 1: it is going to be a col We don't need
- 6:18Speaker 1: to use arbitrary cutoffs. This is going to be a
- 6:20Speaker 1: cold game. And I bring that up, Joe, because I
- 6:23Speaker 1: don't think two is going to break out of the
- 6:24Speaker 1: passing yard sat here in this I mean history says
- 6:28Speaker 1: he's going to struggle. So what I would want to
- 6:30Speaker 1: do if I was looking at a player proper, he
- 6:32Speaker 1: remember last week or last Thursday, it was on the show.
- 6:35Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, they gave out a.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Rushing attempts prop with Bucky Irving, which cashed by a half.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Oh cool, I said under sixteen and a half. Here
- 6:45Speaker 1: he finished sixteen. I would go over eight. I would
- 6:49Speaker 1: go over eight. Champ as long as he's healthy. I
- 6:51Speaker 1: think they're going to feed him tonight. I would go
- 6:53Speaker 1: over on his rushing contemt. I think we're going to
- 6:55Speaker 1: see a lot of him. This is a guy who
- 6:58Speaker 1: had a lot of touches before being pulled in that
- 7:00Speaker 1: Jets game due to injury. So look, the Dolphins aren't
- 7:03Speaker 1: winning without a big game from him. So I would
- 7:06Speaker 1: look over on his rushing attempts.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I think the under in some way, shape or form,
- 7:12Speaker 3: And I would go to the prop betting market in
- 7:16Speaker 3: this situation here, because I do think there's a handful
- 7:19Speaker 3: of guys. And listen, we saw metcalf be the recipient
- 7:22Speaker 3: of those stretching the field shots with Aaron Rodgers, and
- 7:25Speaker 3: he was spot on. And you know, I could you
- 7:28Speaker 3: make the argument that, listen, if what he did to
- 7:31Speaker 3: Baltimore's defense last week is pretty darn impressive, is Miami's
- 7:35Speaker 3: defense on bar with Baltimore currently. I don't know. They
- 7:39Speaker 3: just sort of shut out against Joe Burrow yesterday, which
- 7:43Speaker 3: is also pretty impressive. The Ravens did. So the bottom
- 7:47Speaker 3: line is both these teams need this. I don't think TJ.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Watt is as big a loss as maybe some do.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Although the hook disappeared right during the week here, once
- 7:59Speaker 3: that new and that's all right, give me a half
- 8:02Speaker 3: a point, I'm good to go. But against this Miami
- 8:04Speaker 3: team who's not throwing the ball anyway, I don't know
- 8:08Speaker 3: that not having DJ Watt is all that. I don't
- 8:13Speaker 3: think it's gonna differ the game plan from what Miami
- 8:15Speaker 3: was gonna do anyway, which is try and run the
- 8:18Speaker 3: damn ball the whole time of possession and go that route.
- 8:22Speaker 3: So TJ Watta though a big loss in this spot
- 8:26Speaker 3: against this team, I don't know it's as big as
- 8:29Speaker 3: everyone thinks it is.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I know there's Priace some people out there watching screaming,
- 8:33Speaker 1: what about the side, What about the side? Not to
- 8:35Speaker 1: be a cop not to have a cop out here,
- 8:37Speaker 1: But this game is gonna cut the side tonight comes
- 8:40Speaker 1: down to an interception from Rogers or Tua, maybe a
- 8:45Speaker 1: big teams play that's.
- 8:47Speaker 2: What's gonna decerm this game.
- 8:48Speaker 1: It's why ultimately I didn't give anything to my clients
- 8:50Speaker 1: over at wager talk on this game.
- 8:52Speaker 3: It is.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I think it's a very even matchup.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Hard to do, but if I did play anything, I
- 8:56Speaker 1: would play eight Chan over his rush attempts.
- 9:00Speaker 3: I don't mind the h and in fact I do.
- 9:02Speaker 3: I have a four percent top play here in this game.
- 9:05Speaker 3: It's it's the best edge that I think I could
- 9:08Speaker 3: find in this game that I liked a lot. It
- 9:11Speaker 3: hasn't changed, so yeah, that would I have a best
- 9:15Speaker 3: bet in this game over at wager talk dot com.
- 9:19Speaker 3: But you know, it's tough. You're right, it's tough to
- 9:21Speaker 3: figure out because it feels like it could be one
- 9:24Speaker 3: play one way or the other decides it with these
- 9:26Speaker 3: two teams. But the under I think is if you're
- 9:29Speaker 3: looking for anything, under is probably the way i'd look.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I would concur with that. All right, What did we
- 9:36Speaker 1: learn over the weekend? Joe, I learned a lot. I
- 9:39Speaker 1: always learn a lot watching football. No, I didn't learn that.
- 9:43Speaker 3: No, are you sure? Okay?
- 9:45Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, well, it's nice to see
- 9:47Speaker 1: that you've removed the akron from the voice bubbles that again,
- 9:51Speaker 1: I would like most people want other than you.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Everyone knows I went to ohiou, but that's okay.
- 9:55Speaker 1: But no, I did not suck over the weekend, Joe
- 9:58Speaker 1: three and two Saturday two and one, Yes, three overall,
- 10:02Speaker 1: I wish it could have been six and two. NC
- 10:04Speaker 1: State was very frustrating on Saturday nights. We were talking
- 10:07Speaker 1: about about life. But here's what we learned, Joe. I
- 10:11Speaker 1: often am not afraid to buy low by any sport,
- 10:15Speaker 1: by a team it's seemingly its lowest point. And something
- 10:18Speaker 1: I learned is guys teams off a shutout loss, you
- 10:22Speaker 1: want to consider them.
- 10:23Speaker 2: In the NFL.
- 10:23Speaker 1: We have now had five teams coming off shutout losses
- 10:27Speaker 1: this season in the NFL. All of them have come
- 10:29Speaker 1: back and covered the spread the following week, and it
- 10:32Speaker 1: was Washington who did it yesterday against the Giants. I
- 10:35Speaker 1: talked about that actually on the show either Thursday or Friday,
- 10:38Speaker 1: that I liked Washington in that game. It was the
- 10:40Speaker 1: first time the Giants were favorite all season, and I
- 10:43Speaker 1: don't like playing bad teams as a favorite. So interestingly enough, Joe,
- 10:47Speaker 1: mark dis down in your notebooks circle, there are two
- 10:50Speaker 1: teams that got shut out yesterday. They would be the
- 10:54Speaker 1: Bengals who you mentioned. And then boy, you talk about
- 10:58Speaker 1: buy and low. Can I convince you to put your
- 11:01Speaker 1: harder money in the Las Vegas Raiders next week because
- 11:04Speaker 1: they were shut out as well yesterday, and they may
- 11:07Speaker 1: be the team that stops the trend. They are getting
- 11:10Speaker 1: a healthy number at Houston tomorrow.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Hold on, let me think. Let me think about that.
- 11:15Speaker 3: For no, absolutely, not under any way, shape or form,
- 11:21Speaker 3: am I backing anything to do with the Raiders because
- 11:24Speaker 3: they got shut out. I'll tell you my theory on
- 11:26Speaker 3: the Raiders. You're ready. Pete Carroll is no fool, all right,
- 11:30Speaker 3: even though he keeps track of the obviously, just spreads
- 11:34Speaker 3: into totals and plays it off like he does it.
- 11:37Speaker 3: You know what else, Pete Carroll has been around this
- 11:39Speaker 3: game a long time. You know what else? He knows
- 11:41Speaker 3: that number one draft pick is his. Who the number
- 11:45Speaker 3: one draft pick is his next year? And you can
- 11:48Speaker 3: reshape an organization with the number one draft pick with
- 11:51Speaker 3: as many quarterback needy teams, including his own, in fact
- 11:56Speaker 3: next year. So don't let Pete fool you like, oh shucks,
- 12:00Speaker 3: I can't believe we didn't score any put. It wouldn't
- 12:03Speaker 3: shock me at all if Pete is just being like, yeah,
- 12:06Speaker 3: we're not winning, we're not winning anything. We're getting that
- 12:09Speaker 3: number one draft pick and we're good to go, and
- 12:11Speaker 3: we'll talk about next year down down the road. Because
- 12:15Speaker 3: they are awful on a whole different level.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I would say, if he would like to not win
- 12:19Speaker 1: the rest of the year, I would recommend starting Kendy
- 12:21Speaker 1: Pickett seventy what seventy five seventy nine total yards in
- 12:26Speaker 1: the game Eagles. They didn't gain eighty yards guys yesterday.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It's very bad if you're new to this. So so
- 12:32Speaker 1: that's a couple of things I learned. What else did
- 12:35Speaker 1: we learn over the weekend in the NFL? Well, Kansas City.
- 12:40Speaker 1: We learned Kansas City's not going to the playoffs. I
- 12:42Speaker 1: should mention that was my one loser yesterday. I love
- 12:46Speaker 1: man that I taught. I really loved the Chiefs going yesterday.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I'll be honest with you, and it was wrong. They
- 12:51Speaker 1: it just wasn't their year. It's just it's one of
- 12:54Speaker 1: those years that it just wasn't good. Stuff's not going
- 12:57Speaker 1: to go their way.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I mean, we're acting as if they been bad every
- 13:01Speaker 3: like they haven't sucked since twenty and sixteen, so like
- 13:05Speaker 3: it's quite a run here in professional sports. So and
- 13:10Speaker 3: you know, they've got some issues on that team. I
- 13:13Speaker 3: think a year off is not the worst thing in
- 13:15Speaker 3: the world to try to reset that organization and figure
- 13:17Speaker 3: some things out there. But you know they do have
- 13:22Speaker 3: what's his what's his name there in the backup quarterback?
- 13:25Speaker 3: What's his name?
- 13:27Speaker 2: Ohner Minshew?
- 13:28Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, he got Gardner's fun. At least he'll
- 13:31Speaker 3: be entertaining. But no, that team has got some That
- 13:35Speaker 3: team has got some issues. And the question I have
- 13:37Speaker 3: though from this past weekend is that for as many
- 13:40Speaker 3: people who were jumping up and down and telling me
- 13:43Speaker 3: the fact that the Green Bay Packers traded for Micah
- 13:46Speaker 3: Parsons meant that they were now the favorite to win
- 13:49Speaker 3: the Super Bowl. So now that he's torn is and
- 13:53Speaker 3: blew his knee out, does that mean they're no longer
- 13:55Speaker 3: the not even making the playoffs here? I mean, it
- 13:59Speaker 3: was he that important to this team because that defense
- 14:04Speaker 3: couldn't stop a nose, believe even when he was on
- 14:06Speaker 3: the field yesterday in Denver. So how much did Micah
- 14:10Speaker 3: Parsons really mean to this Green Bay Packers team because
- 14:14Speaker 3: Christian Watson getting knocked out of that game I thought
- 14:17Speaker 3: was a bigger issue than not having Micaeh Parsons. If
- 14:21Speaker 3: you don't have Christian Watson, I think I think green
- 14:24Speaker 3: Bay screwed down the road. It would be great to
- 14:28Speaker 3: have Micah, but not having him isn't the end of
- 14:31Speaker 3: the world. I think for green Bay. I think Christian
- 14:34Speaker 3: Watson much more impactful than he is.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know, I think you know, you talk
- 14:40Speaker 1: about green Bay's future, Joe, we were stay off here,
- 14:44Speaker 1: It's probably going to come down to them and Detroit
- 14:48Speaker 1: for that last playoff spot in the NFC if I
- 14:50Speaker 1: were handicapping a playoff race, and your point about Watson
- 14:54Speaker 1: is well taken. Look, you know, there's a lot of
- 14:58Speaker 1: discussion that goes out about Jordan He's he's got a
- 15:00Speaker 1: bad receiver group to throw to. I think a lot
- 15:02Speaker 1: of the problems with Green Bay's offense stems from the
- 15:04Speaker 1: fact that more often than not, he's not getting a
- 15:09Speaker 1: lot of guys. A lot of guys aren't getting open
- 15:10Speaker 1: for Jordan Love. So if yeah, Christian Watson, obviously wide
- 15:13Speaker 1: receiver is gone. I mean that makes the wide receiver
- 15:16Speaker 1: room even worse, So it is something to monitor. I
- 15:20Speaker 1: know Chicago, you know, Art's not here today obviously, but
- 15:23Speaker 1: Chicago took early money for that Saturday game against Green Bay.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Green Bays down to a one and a half point
- 15:29Speaker 1: road favorite, still favored.
- 15:30Speaker 3: The pack are.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Against the Bears in a rematch from just two weeks
- 15:34Speaker 1: ago that the Packers one in Lambeau.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Oh, I got another thing I learned. Okay, well, actually
- 15:39Speaker 3: I kind of knew it, but we'll let it go
- 15:41Speaker 3: out there anyway. Don't bet against Josh Allen in December.
- 15:48Speaker 3: That's all I'm gonna say. You want to see the
- 15:50Speaker 3: difference on why experience matters this time of year. Yeah,
- 15:55Speaker 3: Buffalo down twenty one points to the New England Patriots,
- 15:59Speaker 3: who have been a great story. And I'm not taking
- 16:01Speaker 3: anything away, but it's a young, inexperienced team that has
- 16:04Speaker 3: not been there. They have not done that. There was
- 16:07Speaker 3: never a look of panic in Josh Allen or anybody
- 16:10Speaker 3: on Buffalo's sideline during that first half. And you know
- 16:13Speaker 3: who the number one second half team is against the
- 16:18Speaker 3: number this year, the East single most profitable team to
- 16:21Speaker 3: back in the second half of games, the Buffalo Bills.
- 16:25Speaker 3: You know, who's great early the New England Patriots, who
- 16:28Speaker 3: I think have only trailed in one game so far
- 16:31Speaker 3: this year at the break scripted portion of the game.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Brig back New England when it matters, when it's crunch
- 16:38Speaker 3: time in the second half. Yeah, that's why you back
- 16:42Speaker 3: Josh Allen in a Buffalo Bills, which is why they're
- 16:44Speaker 3: never really out of it, because they're built to win
- 16:47Speaker 3: games in December and January. And the reigning MVP is
- 16:52Speaker 3: the MVP for a reason. And you saw that on
- 16:55Speaker 3: full display yesterday.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Nobody circles the wagons quite like the Buffalo Bill. I
- 17:00Speaker 2: guess you could say, right, you know, that's a game.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I'll say, if you're the Patriots, you have to put
- 17:03Speaker 1: that game away. Though you're up three touchdowns at Hall,
- 17:06Speaker 1: we get your main division rival, you out gain him
- 17:07Speaker 1: by two point three yards per play. What here's the problem.
- 17:10Speaker 1: They just didn't have the ball. The Bills just played
- 17:12Speaker 1: keep away in the second half.
- 17:13Speaker 3: You take away. I've been two seventy yard you know,
- 17:17Speaker 3: ridiculous runs. What did you do? I mean, seriously, what
- 17:21Speaker 3: did you do there in that game? You didn't do nothing?
- 17:24Speaker 3: So you know you can't always count on Trayvon Henderson
- 17:27Speaker 3: getting around the outside and going eighty yards and sixty
- 17:29Speaker 3: five yards and you know you got to but you
- 17:32Speaker 3: gotta learn to win those games. You just don't fall
- 17:35Speaker 3: out of bed. And I mean, people forget, this isn't
- 17:37Speaker 3: the Patriots teams of years ago, Dave got. It's still
- 17:42Speaker 3: a learning curve here and an experience factor. I think
- 17:46Speaker 3: they're on track. I mean, I think you got your quarterback.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I think you got your coach. I think everything is
- 17:52Speaker 3: on track. But my goodness, can we stop with the
- 17:55Speaker 3: MVP talk and all this other crap, Like, just go
- 17:58Speaker 3: out and win that game and then we can talk
- 18:00Speaker 3: about your championship and your MVP. But you didn't. You
- 18:04Speaker 3: didn't because you've never had to win that game yet.
- 18:07Speaker 3: But maybe you will next time.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Well, and it's interesting New England just had a ten
- 18:12Speaker 1: game Winstrey step there an underdog again next week at Baltimore.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I think the more experience, yes, and that's a game
- 18:20Speaker 1: that the Ravens obviously have to have. It was obviously
- 18:23Speaker 1: a limited college slate on Saturday, just the first Bowl game,
- 18:26Speaker 1: which was a complete blowout with Washington running boys out
- 18:29Speaker 1: of the right out.
- 18:30Speaker 3: All that ever, Bet the over in an Army Navy game.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yes, that's what I was gonna say. Yes, that was
- 18:36Speaker 2: my last point. Just don't don't do it.
- 18:38Speaker 1: It looked good for a while, right, both teams march
- 18:40Speaker 1: down the field, no pun intended to score, and you know,
- 18:44Speaker 1: Army got some cheap oos, some.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Field goals right before half. Still didn't matter.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Still didn't matter, And I would I would always take
- 18:52Speaker 1: the points too, Like I said I did on the
- 18:55Speaker 1: Power five video over the weekend. I said, look, guys,
- 18:57Speaker 1: game with a total is low, you got to take
- 18:59Speaker 1: our me the points, don't.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Yeah, well they're very good to a revenge spot on
- 19:04Speaker 3: a low total. Obvious, Yes, very very good. Although the
- 19:09Speaker 3: the turnovers were just absolutely brutal in that game. But
- 19:12Speaker 3: a good game came down to last couple of plays,
- 19:15Speaker 3: which is the way those games usually should come down.
- 19:18Speaker 3: And I'll throw one other one. Don't bet against Michigan
- 19:21Speaker 3: anytime soon in college basketball, because they appear to be
- 19:24Speaker 3: going though. They didn't cover against Maryland, but they almost.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Almost Honest with you, Joe, it sort of seemed like
- 19:34Speaker 1: the players wanted to cover.
- 19:35Speaker 2: They I mean, they were running, they were not driveled.
- 19:38Speaker 1: They were not using the shot clock at the end
- 19:40Speaker 1: of the game, man that I was laughing. I was like,
- 19:43Speaker 1: oh my god, if anyone.
- 19:48Speaker 3: He's purposely trying to go scorch start, it looks like
- 19:51Speaker 3: and don't look now, but we finally might have a
- 19:55Speaker 3: rivalry in the NBA again worth tuning in for because us.
- 20:00Speaker 3: What the San Antonio Spurs did to the Oklahoma City
- 20:04Speaker 3: Thunder on Saturday was absolutely beautiful. And the fact that
- 20:08Speaker 3: OKC has got the nerve to bitch and moan about
- 20:12Speaker 3: the officiating after the game cracks me up, because no
- 20:17Speaker 3: team lives at the free throw line more than OKAC
- 20:20Speaker 3: and SGA and his leg kicks and every and fat
- 20:24Speaker 3: like please, So I'm glad by the way they play.
- 20:28Speaker 3: In eight days on the twenty third in San Antonio again,
- 20:32Speaker 3: so finally not everyone is kumbai ya and everyone's friendly
- 20:37Speaker 3: and likes one another. Maybe we can get a little
- 20:40Speaker 3: bad blood again in the NBA there BP and make
- 20:42Speaker 3: it worth watching.
- 20:44Speaker 1: And nobody likes bad blood more than you, you know,
- 20:46Speaker 1: and no one likes kumbai Yai less than you, I believe, correct,
- 20:50Speaker 1: that is correct. I've read the comics for the last
- 20:53Speaker 1: couple of days. I think everyone who watches understands that
- 20:55Speaker 1: as well partlay of the day. You no, it's gonna
- 20:58Speaker 1: be a two leg of the day. It's two show today,
- 21:05Speaker 1: so well, you know what the if I'm wrong, easier
- 21:08Speaker 1: to win a two leg parlay than a three leg parlay,
- 21:10Speaker 1: So uh, no.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Excuses for the two of us.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna start her off. I'm gonna go with the
- 21:14Speaker 1: Clipper since the parlay I think I can do this.
- 21:16Speaker 1: I'm just gonna go with the Clippers money line in
- 21:18Speaker 1: the NBA, I'm interested to hear your take the NBA
- 21:21Speaker 1: rundown on this game. Look, the Clippers, You've said it
- 21:24Speaker 1: on the show when I've been here.
- 21:26Speaker 2: They're bad.
- 21:27Speaker 1: But I think this is an ideal spot to back
- 21:30Speaker 1: the Clips tonight against Memphis. I know it is the
- 21:33Speaker 1: clips first game back home after a road trip. Traditionally
- 21:37Speaker 1: you look to fade. I don't want to lay the
- 21:39Speaker 1: points with the Clippers, but I do think they will
- 21:41Speaker 1: win tonight at home over the Griz.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Well, how much is what? What is that money line?
- 21:49Speaker 3: What is that? What is that sixty? How much?
- 21:55Speaker 2: We can't remind us one sixty?
- 21:59Speaker 3: Just talking about sure, because mine's going to be nearly
- 22:01Speaker 3: five to one, So mine's gonna be about a five
- 22:04Speaker 3: hundred and one.
- 22:04Speaker 2: No, I'm only kidding. I would lay the points here.
- 22:08Speaker 3: BP. You follow some insignificant college basketball conferences.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Right, I will be talking about them momentarily as a
- 22:16Speaker 1: matter of fact.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Okay, well, then no doubt on your list must be
- 22:20Speaker 3: how many wins does Gardner Web have this year?
- 22:23Speaker 2: Do you know Gardner Web is very bad?
- 22:26Speaker 3: Correct?
- 22:26Speaker 1: They are if you're on Kenpalm dot com or if
- 22:30Speaker 1: you would like to go there, we'll watch them this video.
- 22:32Speaker 1: You'll have to scroll to the very bottom of the
- 22:33Speaker 1: page to find the running bullbox and Gardner Web and they.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Are at home. Not that that matters. Taking on Wafford tonight,
- 22:42Speaker 3: who was down thirty five points at home in the
- 22:46Speaker 3: first half to Elon last game and got their ass
- 22:49Speaker 3: handed to them, I would I think the number is
- 22:52Speaker 3: what ten, ten and a half somewhere along those lines.
- 22:55Speaker 3: So I would lay the points with Wafford here tonight
- 23:00Speaker 3: against Gardener Way I think they might have. I think
- 23:04Speaker 3: they might have a little bug up there, you know
- 23:06Speaker 3: what here look to take out some frustration because Wafford
- 23:10Speaker 3: doesn't lose to the Elons of the world at home
- 23:13Speaker 3: like they did, so, Yes, I think that might be
- 23:16Speaker 3: a good look for our two team par license. You
- 23:19Speaker 3: went cheesy in the minus one sixty.
- 23:22Speaker 1: You know, I don't do that very often. I'm not
- 23:24Speaker 1: allowed to do it. It's a light card for the record, Joe.
- 23:26Speaker 3: I think you know, Okay, I was just waiting for
- 23:29Speaker 3: a big dog or something, but nothing. Nope. I was
- 23:32Speaker 3: thought maybe you'd go, I don't know, South Dakota State
- 23:35Speaker 3: on the money line at home against Wyom, But no, okay,
- 23:38Speaker 3: we go it's taking that.
- 23:40Speaker 1: What's Niagara on the money line? Well, tonight we'll talk
- 23:42Speaker 1: about that just a little bit. Bad beats, bad bets.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Let's go to this segment here, what don'd give me
- 23:50Speaker 1: a bad beat?
- 23:51Speaker 3: Joe?
- 23:51Speaker 2: What do you think was what was a what? What
- 23:53Speaker 2: do you think was the bad beat of the weekend?
- 23:55Speaker 3: Oh? Well, I think anybody who expected bad teams to
- 24:00Speaker 3: do good things this weekend were let down. Anybody that
- 24:04Speaker 3: thought the Browns were going to be some sort of
- 24:09Speaker 3: you know, we're gonna give up a fight because Shador
- 24:11Speaker 3: has figured some note. Nope, nope, that was not a
- 24:15Speaker 3: good situation at all. There Also, I believe outside of
- 24:20Speaker 3: a handful of those games that had that where we
- 24:25Speaker 3: didn't get a ton of points, right, I think the
- 24:27Speaker 3: Bears and Browns that game still landed under, although barely.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I think Baltimore and Cincinnati was under because Cincinnati just
- 24:36Speaker 3: didn't contribute anything in that. But we also saw a
- 24:40Speaker 3: ton of overs in spots yesterday that we thought maybe
- 24:44Speaker 3: might be a little bit closer. And yeah, no, a
- 24:49Speaker 3: lot less defense, a lot more offense in some of
- 24:52Speaker 3: these games. We're starting to know it's another over last night.
- 24:55Speaker 3: I believe over is very profitable this past week here BP,
- 25:01Speaker 3: this past weekend in the NFL, that's for sure.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Yeah, there were a lot of favorites teams at their
- 25:06Speaker 1: high water mark. I mean you look at the board, Houston, Jacksonville, Chicago.
- 25:11Speaker 1: It was the most points that Stroud, the point Williamson
- 25:15Speaker 1: had ever laid and they all covered the spread.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Look at that.
- 25:18Speaker 1: You know, here's a bad beat for anyone who had Tennessee. Now,
- 25:20Speaker 1: first of I don't personally know anyone who had Tennessee
- 25:22Speaker 1: against San Francisco, but kick that late field goal to
- 25:26Speaker 1: cover every number. Uh So that was I guess that's
- 25:29Speaker 1: you get what you asked for. If you're betting Tennessee,
- 25:32Speaker 1: you sort of probably deserve.
- 25:33Speaker 3: To have that hat. That was so bad and there
- 25:35Speaker 3: was no reason to kick the field no reason to
- 25:38Speaker 3: kick that field goal at all. None. That was absolutely
- 25:43Speaker 3: terrible there. And by the way, shout out to Grandpa there,
- 25:47Speaker 3: Philip Rivers, who I mean, let's face it, if you
- 25:50Speaker 3: thought Seattle was going to just steamroll Indie because Philip
- 25:56Speaker 3: Rivers getting and it was back to my point, originally,
- 25:59Speaker 3: they're not rolling forty four year old Philip Rivers off
- 26:02Speaker 3: the couch under center unless they think he can give
- 26:05Speaker 3: them a chance to win. And he did just that BP,
- 26:09Speaker 3: which is the only thing they asked him to do,
- 26:11Speaker 3: was give put them in, don't lose the game, give
- 26:13Speaker 3: him a chance to win the game. And he did
- 26:16Speaker 3: just that and unfortunately six field goals for Seattle was
- 26:21Speaker 3: what ended up winning him that game. That's just crazy.
- 26:24Speaker 1: It's also crazy how much better Seattle is on the road. Yeah,
- 26:28Speaker 1: they're at home obviously, you know under the afore mentioned
- 26:31Speaker 1: Pete Carroll, who we talked about earlier. That was certainly
- 26:34Speaker 1: the opposite, was the case. Yeah, shout out to Philip Rivers,
- 26:37Speaker 1: he's my age. I will and it was a bad bet.
- 26:39Speaker 1: If you took the ass end of the line, Yes
- 26:42Speaker 1: you will, Joe Seattle. That was just a bad bet.
- 26:45Speaker 1: You shouldn't do that.
- 26:47Speaker 3: And there were a lot of people running to the
- 26:49Speaker 3: money line during that first half too, that were that
- 26:51Speaker 3: were jacking up money line bets in game there while
- 26:55Speaker 3: because it was clear early on that Seattle's not running
- 26:59Speaker 3: away with any thing in this game anytime soon. So
- 27:02Speaker 3: shout out to lou Ana Rumo once again one of
- 27:05Speaker 3: the better defensive coordinators in the game. Sooner or later
- 27:08Speaker 3: he'll get a head coaching job.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I think, Yeah, I don't think the Bengal should have
- 27:12Speaker 1: let go of him. That was kind of dumb. But uh,
- 27:14Speaker 1: you know what, one last point then we're gonna get
- 27:16Speaker 1: to the business segments of the program. I believe what
- 27:21Speaker 1: an indictment it is on quarterback development at the college
- 27:25Speaker 1: level that the Colts felt more comfortable calling forty five
- 27:31Speaker 1: year old Philip Rivers off the couch. Correct, it's not
- 27:34Speaker 1: supposed to be that way, like and and you watch
- 27:37Speaker 1: college football lot, Joe and I've been. I was talking
- 27:39Speaker 1: with some friends over the weekend. I don't think it's
- 27:41Speaker 1: getting any better, Like, I mean, you look at them.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I don't know that's not my job. But I'm going
- 27:51Speaker 1: to tell you Fernando Mendoza and Diego Pavia are not
- 27:54Speaker 1: coming into this league and dominating.
- 27:56Speaker 3: No, they're not. Neither neither guy the teams for more
- 28:01Speaker 3: than twelve It's like, that's the problem is that we
- 28:04Speaker 3: have nobody cultivating the quarterback position in college anymore because
- 28:08Speaker 3: they're going from coach to coach to coach to coach.
- 28:11Speaker 3: And how are you supposed to how are you supposed
- 28:13Speaker 3: to learn anything from anybody in the NFL ranks anymore
- 28:17Speaker 3: from a college from a quarterback perspective and expect to
- 28:20Speaker 3: get a close to finished product. So you basically have
- 28:24Speaker 3: to finish all the coaching in the NFL, which means
- 28:28Speaker 3: you better get drafted by the right guy. And there's
- 28:30Speaker 3: only so many Andy Reid's, you know what I mean,
- 28:33Speaker 3: or mcveigh's of the world who are gonna and those
- 28:36Speaker 3: guys ain't drafting quarterbacks. That's the other problem that you have.
- 28:39Speaker 3: So I'm with you, man, it's good luck. Having the
- 28:43Speaker 3: first draft pick is great. How long before those quarterbacks
- 28:47Speaker 3: become actually useful?
- 28:49Speaker 1: Well, And the interesting thing is you talk about you
- 28:52Speaker 1: need to go to a right situation. Look at guys
- 28:54Speaker 1: like Daryl and Mayfield who are now service of Letterbelt
- 28:56Speaker 1: NFL corrucks. They flamed out in their first stop and
- 28:59Speaker 1: they wound up, you know, those teams, the Jets, the
- 29:02Speaker 1: Browns wound up developing a quarterback developing for another team.
- 29:07Speaker 1: You know, it takes the other thing too. You got
- 29:09Speaker 1: to be patient with some of these guys. You know, Joe,
- 29:12Speaker 1: I was talking to another couple buddies over the weekend
- 29:14Speaker 1: as well, that they're into like high school football stuff here.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Hig school football pretty.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Big on U. I've heard you say, okay, well all
- 29:21Speaker 3: right on here, both high school and college.
- 29:27Speaker 1: You look at these offenses, how they're being run, Joe,
- 29:30Speaker 1: it's a lot that was not Its not being high
- 29:32Speaker 1: school though, it wasn't. You look at these offenses, Joe,
- 29:36Speaker 1: how they're being run at the high school and college level.
- 29:38Speaker 1: A lot of it is just let's out athlete the
- 29:41Speaker 1: defense right, Let's throw these wide receiver screens. We can
- 29:44Speaker 1: get eight to ten yards on it. In the pros,
- 29:46Speaker 1: that doesn't work. I think it goes beyond just the
- 29:50Speaker 1: individual quarterbacks we're seeing at those levels. I think it's
- 29:53Speaker 1: these just sort of simplified offenses that we're seeing at
- 29:57Speaker 1: the lower levels that are just leading, that are just
- 29:59Speaker 1: leading to do these guys get in the NFL. You
- 30:01Speaker 1: got to make four reads in two seconds and it's
- 30:03Speaker 1: hard to do.
- 30:04Speaker 2: It's hard to do.
- 30:05Speaker 3: No, it's uh, you got you know how many more
- 30:09Speaker 3: times have we see like the NBA is different, Like
- 30:11Speaker 3: in college basketball, we have maybe one of the most
- 30:15Speaker 3: talented crop of freshmen I have seen in a very
- 30:17Speaker 3: long time. We've got maybe four or five legit number
- 30:22Speaker 3: one picks that could go out this year and be
- 30:24Speaker 3: impactful in the NBA. Right, you just saw a Cooper Flang.
- 30:28Speaker 3: He started to get Because the NBA is the stars league.
- 30:31Speaker 3: The NFL is a coaching league. If you don't get
- 30:34Speaker 3: with the right coach, you're screwing. You're screwed. So eventually,
- 30:38Speaker 3: what happens the Sam Donald reclamations, the Daniel Jones is
- 30:42Speaker 3: all of a sudden, Lobert IPPs to get with the
- 30:44Speaker 3: right coach, Baker Mayfield get with the right coach, and boom,
- 30:50Speaker 3: look at that, great things can happen. So the problem
- 30:53Speaker 3: is the coaching at the NFL level is that there's
- 30:57Speaker 3: only a handful of guys as well that are even
- 30:59Speaker 3: smart off and capble enough to actually cultivate a quarterback.
- 31:04Speaker 3: And you know, good luck there, cam Ward in Tennessee.
- 31:07Speaker 3: I hope they hire the right guy for you, Goes,
- 31:10Speaker 3: otherwise you'll be out of the league in three years.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's another thing.
- 31:14Speaker 1: There's not a lot of great coaches coming through the
- 31:16Speaker 1: pipeline either. All right, let's talk about let's handle some business.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Let's throw a pres and his Natalie attired Las Vegas outfitter,
- 31:25Speaker 1: whatever that is, President being back on Tuesday. I'm told
- 31:28Speaker 1: I am here with you, Joe, much to your delight,
- 31:31Speaker 1: both Tuesday and Wednesday. I believe Art to Caesar will
- 31:34Speaker 1: be joining us both Tuesday and Wednesday, if I am
- 31:37Speaker 1: not mistaken. But some business guys, I'll just talk about
- 31:41Speaker 1: it right now. Monday is likely going to be a
- 31:44Speaker 1: pass for me, but I am going to be very
- 31:46Speaker 1: busy and diligent working on the college bulls.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Do not forget.
- 31:51Speaker 1: You can get all of my college football bowl selections
- 31:54Speaker 1: for just one hundred and forty nine dollars. My first
- 31:56Speaker 1: one is posted for free at my page right now,
- 31:58Speaker 1: wt dot buzz slash VP. We closed the college football
- 32:02Speaker 1: regular season on a nice fifteen and eight run going
- 32:05Speaker 1: back to November first, NFL went two and one yesterday,
- 32:09Speaker 1: sixty seven percent sides and totals now the last five weeks,
- 32:13Speaker 1: So get on board long term, all all sports. My
- 32:17Speaker 1: five dollars play for Tuesday. I think I've already circled
- 32:20Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do, Joe. It's gonna be a college
- 32:21Speaker 1: basketball There's a spot I love. So that's what's going
- 32:24Speaker 1: on in my world. Thanksy Devil, Thank you pres Thank
- 32:31Speaker 1: you Pres.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Yes, I think he approves of your five dollars Tuesday,
- 32:36Speaker 3: College basketball and best bet Oh, I thank you, NBA
- 32:40Speaker 3: College one, NBA won College basketball one. NFL locked and
- 32:45Speaker 3: loaded here tonight. So I've got the one, the one
- 32:49Speaker 3: edge I found in tonight's game that is absolutely worth betting.
- 32:53Speaker 3: That is available over at weedr talk dot com. BP.
- 32:59Speaker 1: All right, that's where we are, and I'll be on
- 33:02Speaker 1: wager Talk today tomorrow.
- 33:04Speaker 2: In addition to this show that I do.
- 33:06Speaker 3: I doopular, I am, Yes, I am.
- 33:09Speaker 2: People love to work with me, Joe, and I know
- 33:11Speaker 2: you're on that list.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Sex yes exactly, Yes.
- 33:18Speaker 2: All right, shall we do the rundown?
- 33:19Speaker 1: You mentioned college basketball teams that not a lot of
- 33:22Speaker 1: people care about yes.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Oh yes, well we've.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Got uh yeah, we got quite a handful of college
- 33:29Speaker 1: basketball games that I'm going to make you care about.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Not a lot of people could talk about all these teams, Joe,
- 33:32Speaker 1: but I can starting now, all right.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Uh Niagara, they're at VCU. Niagara is terrible.
- 33:40Speaker 1: They're oh and seven straight up and against the spread
- 33:42Speaker 1: their last seven games facing a VCU team, Joe, that
- 33:45Speaker 1: should be mad as hell following a loss here at
- 33:47Speaker 1: home to Do Mexico last week. Personally, I thought the
- 33:50Speaker 1: Rams would play a lot better in that spot. They
- 33:51Speaker 1: closed as a ten point favorite. They took a lot
- 33:53Speaker 1: of money, so the obvious reaction, guys is to come
- 33:56Speaker 1: back and want to lay it with.
- 33:58Speaker 2: The angry favorite.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Problem is, the line for this Niagara VCU game is
- 34:02Speaker 1: now sitting at thirty two. It's a lot of points.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Full disclosure, Niagara stinks. We're talking about one of the
- 34:08Speaker 1: ten worst teams in the country. However, they've lost by
- 34:11Speaker 1: more than thirty two only one time this entire season,
- 34:16Speaker 1: and that was to Duke, So I can't lay it
- 34:21Speaker 1: in this situation. Wyoming San Diego State is the other
- 34:24Speaker 1: game on the main board. Wyoming is a team that
- 34:27Speaker 1: was kind to me and my clients. Last week, I
- 34:29Speaker 1: took them team total over. They cashed easily. They put
- 34:32Speaker 1: over one hundred points on the board in that game,
- 34:34Speaker 1: but that was in Laramie, where they're a lot better.
- 34:36Speaker 1: This is a neutral site game against San Diego State.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I know the Cowboys have taken money, but I would
- 34:40Speaker 1: be a little more trepidacious with them playing away from home.
- 34:45Speaker 1: East Texas AAN. Let's go to the extra board. East
- 34:47Speaker 1: Texas A and M. Southeast Louisiana. Southeast Louisiana's off loss.
- 34:50Speaker 1: I think they bounced back, probably at home, even though
- 34:52Speaker 1: the dog has taken money there. Joe mentioned Wafford Gardner Web.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Wafford has owned Gardner Web when these teams have played
- 35:00Speaker 1: over the last decade, perfect seven and zero straight up
- 35:03Speaker 1: North Alabama. Money's come on them against Alabama A and M.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I agree North Alabama's off a couple upsets wins. I
- 35:09Speaker 1: think they handle their business here. Houston Christian is an
- 35:12Speaker 1: attractive underdog against McNeice. McNeice has obviously been head and
- 35:16Speaker 1: shoulders the class of the Southland, laying points on the road.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Though.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Look, the market likes McNeese here, but I think for me,
- 35:24Speaker 1: I could only consider the underdrug and then probably my
- 35:26Speaker 1: favorite play, I'll save it for last Joe. Probably if
- 35:29Speaker 1: I did get to the window on anything tonight in
- 35:31Speaker 1: college hoops, it would be Incarnate Word plus the point.
- 35:35Speaker 2: TCU.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Incarnate Word beat McNeese and they've lost two after two
- 35:39Speaker 1: in a row after that, TCU. Don't be fooled by
- 35:41Speaker 1: that last score against North Texas. They were losing a halftime,
- 35:44Speaker 1: so I like Incarnate Word plus the points there.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Really, it looks like they're taking a little bit of
- 35:49Speaker 3: money there as well BP, but it's a pretty good
- 35:53Speaker 3: Jamie Dixon team for a while. Took him a little
- 35:55Speaker 3: while to figure it out. But TCU, I might surprise
- 36:00Speaker 3: a few people here. But that is a big number,
- 36:03Speaker 3: that is for sure.
- 36:03Speaker 1: See TCU's best result this year arguably is a loss.
- 36:07Speaker 2: They came close to me with Michigan.
- 36:09Speaker 3: That's what we talked about earlier.
- 36:11Speaker 1: So you know, again, I think it's a potential flat
- 36:14Speaker 1: spot or on final exams they lay that big number.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Incredit word. It's gonna be really fired up after back
- 36:18Speaker 2: to back losses.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Yes they are all right, let's go to the NBA
- 36:23Speaker 3: here tonight. VP because We have some interesting games lined up,
- 36:27Speaker 3: and it starts, of course, first and foremost, with Boston
- 36:31Speaker 3: taking on Detroit. Detroit is what many people believe is
- 36:35Speaker 3: the best team in the Eastern Conference, which is saying
- 36:39Speaker 3: a lot here. Both teams arrested, both teams are healthy,
- 36:43Speaker 3: Boston coming off an abysmal performance last time out. It's
- 36:48Speaker 3: virtually a Pickham prize. But if call me crazy, I
- 36:52Speaker 3: still think Detroit is the right side here. I'd also
- 36:56Speaker 3: look at maybe the under because if Boston's not hitting
- 36:59Speaker 3: twenty in a game, likely not going to hit the
- 37:03Speaker 3: over in that one. Your dog of the night, I'm
- 37:06Speaker 3: calling it right now. Give me the Utah Jazz getting
- 37:09Speaker 3: points against Dallas. Who is Dallas to be laying points
- 37:13Speaker 3: against anybody? By the way, Utah Laurie Marken in at home,
- 37:19Speaker 3: much more viable here than any place else. Although they
- 37:22Speaker 3: just kicked the crap out of Memphis too, but that's
- 37:24Speaker 3: not that hard to do. How about the Land of
- 37:27Speaker 3: the Heat laying six at home against the Raptors. Both
- 37:31Speaker 3: these teams are on four game losing streaks. The Heat
- 37:34Speaker 3: very profitable to back at home. The Raptors, well, you know,
- 37:39Speaker 3: they still got some injuries. No RJ. Barrett available to
- 37:42Speaker 3: them here. It feels like the heat will likely run
- 37:46Speaker 3: away with this game. How about the Rockets heading to
- 37:49Speaker 3: Denver to take on the Nuggets. You know, the Nuggets
- 37:51Speaker 3: haven't played a home game in two weeks. Two weeks,
- 37:54Speaker 3: they haven't played a home game, and the last time
- 37:56Speaker 3: they were there they sucked. They won a home game
- 37:59Speaker 3: and for ever, I don't know what's going on with Denver.
- 38:02Speaker 3: Injuries have been a concern, but I like the Rockets
- 38:05Speaker 3: to be able to pull out the upset in Denver.
- 38:09Speaker 3: And I mentioned those Grizzlies for a reason. Although kind
- 38:13Speaker 3: of screwed up here now that BP actually picked the
- 38:16Speaker 3: Clippers on the money line, now I'm a little hesitant
- 38:18Speaker 3: to go in that direction. But listen, the Grizzlies have
- 38:22Speaker 3: no zach Edie and they welcome back John Morant. Is
- 38:26Speaker 3: it really a surprise they got their ass handed to
- 38:28Speaker 3: them by the Utah Jazz. No trade Jahn Morant and
- 38:32Speaker 3: avoid back into Grizzlies until they can get zach Edie
- 38:35Speaker 3: back Clippers.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Is the only way I would look in that one. There, BP,
- 38:39Speaker 1: oh little agreement on the show here. Joe only took
- 38:42Speaker 1: us a few minutes there.
- 38:44Speaker 2: That's nice.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Don't make me regret this. Please, don't make a lot
- 38:48Speaker 3: of regret, I will say, and I already regret this. Good.
- 38:52Speaker 3: God is that good? Like you? Wow? It really does
- 38:56Speaker 3: kind of like my hair. That's kind of nice.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Let me take a hair it is that's very well clothed.
- 39:03Speaker 1: That's like, yeah, by the way, people like seem to
- 39:07Speaker 1: think that my hair's guys, look at this right.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Here, hold on, let me get a close up here,
- 39:10Speaker 3: hold on.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Look at that? That is real, real hair.
- 39:14Speaker 3: Is that real hair? Yes?
- 39:17Speaker 2: Look at this.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Look at this. It's his real hair. That's correct. Yeah, right,
- 39:22Speaker 3: it is real hair. I kind of like that. It
- 39:25Speaker 3: looks it looks sweet. You know what else has real hair?
- 39:29Speaker 3: Look at that Mary has Merril's got some hair too.
- 39:34Speaker 1: I know he's from the Virginia area, but he looks
- 39:37Speaker 1: a lot like George Washington in that.
- 39:38Speaker 3: It does look like where's the cherry tree? God, damn it,
- 39:43Speaker 3: damn yes?
- 39:45Speaker 2: Wow?
- 39:46Speaker 3: Wow, that was impressive.
- 39:48Speaker 1: All right, Well do we head to the mail bag, Joe, Because,
- 39:51Speaker 1: like you, I perused the comments here on YouTube for
- 39:55Speaker 1: the best betting show ever, and I've I've been enjoying
- 39:57Speaker 1: them quite frankly during my time hosting the program, or
- 40:01Speaker 1: at least sitting in the host chair. You know, these
- 40:04Speaker 1: last several days and again, guys, I will be here
- 40:07Speaker 1: tomorrow and Wednesday, along with Joe and Art for that matter.
- 40:11Speaker 1: One of my favorite comments Joe as I went to
- 40:13Speaker 1: the meg was I was Joe, Well, of course it
- 40:18Speaker 1: would be job Poody.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Tang that would write this right.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Yes, I only click.
- 40:21Speaker 1: I only clicked the likes when VP hosts, thank you
- 40:25Speaker 1: very much.
- 40:25Speaker 2: I saw nine people agreed with that comment, by the way.
- 40:27Speaker 3: That is excellent. Yes, I did enjoy the fact that
- 40:31Speaker 3: when I believe it was one person put in there,
- 40:34Speaker 3: he said, I sat down, and the minute that I
- 40:38Speaker 3: saw the dumpster fire is the opening scene, I knew
- 40:41Speaker 3: it was going to be a fantastic show. So yes,
- 40:44Speaker 3: you're correct. Anytime you see this dumpster fire, you know
- 40:48Speaker 3: you know who's you know who's coming on there, so
- 40:51Speaker 3: it should be fantastic.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Somebody Joe Campbell says he would definitely drink beers with you.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Joe.
- 40:57Speaker 2: I bet he's.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Got all the good stories. And I loved the witty
- 41:00Speaker 1: jabs he poked BP with.
- 41:02Speaker 3: I love it, I love you, Yes, Yes, Also, they
- 41:05Speaker 3: loved your Valor track suit by the way, on last
- 41:08Speaker 3: week's show, they loved that it was it was nice.
- 41:12Speaker 2: I wish I could say it was an actual Valor
- 41:14Speaker 2: track suit.
- 41:15Speaker 1: It was just a Philadelphia Phillies zip up from rally out.
- 41:18Speaker 3: And now for not Bill Keo. He had the over
- 41:22Speaker 3: under of me trolling you at two minutes into the show.
- 41:26Speaker 3: How in the hell did you set that line in
- 41:29Speaker 3: two minutes? And the fact that you thought we'd go
- 41:31Speaker 3: two minutes without me ripping BP is uh. Well, I
- 41:36Speaker 3: guess they give you a lot of credit, or maybe
- 41:38Speaker 3: they thought I would get soft here in my old age.
- 41:41Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 41:42Speaker 1: I would have bet the under on two minutes. I
- 41:44Speaker 1: would have bet all of my Bundy I know better.
- 41:46Speaker 1: And somebody I can't see if this camera if this
- 41:50Speaker 1: is Thursday or final show. But they did note you
- 41:52Speaker 1: rolled your eyes at the sixteen second mark, so an
- 41:54Speaker 1: eye roll came before the troll. There you go, So
- 41:57Speaker 1: you were in a peak midweek form. That's gonna do
- 42:00Speaker 1: it for the show today. Unless if I've missed something, Joe,
- 42:03Speaker 1: I hope I've done okay.
- 42:05Speaker 3: I think standard. Yes, you've been outstanding. Really, I mean
- 42:10Speaker 3: this is.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, it's yeah, something positive. Okay, I'll take, Yeah,
- 42:18Speaker 2: I'll take Yeah.
- 42:20Speaker 3: Well, there we go.
- 42:22Speaker 1: There is no tequila left in that bottle. I can
- 42:27Speaker 1: assure you that, guys. Tuesday best betting show ever. Joe myself,

- 42:38Speaker 1: Yes, that's a coach we need back Jim Morris Senior.
