- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah, nothing at all. No. So today's Memorial Day. Did
- 1:14Speaker 1: you know that?
- 1:15Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:15Speaker 1: You did, because right before we pressed record, you were
- 1:18Speaker 1: like I want Eliza to cut my hair. I'm like,
- 1:21Speaker 1: it is a holiday, and you're like, holiday, it's a holiday,
- 1:24Speaker 1: and I feel like your school is really letting you.
- 1:27Speaker 4: No.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I remember just now that it was a holiday because
- 1:31Speaker 2: it's our dogs birthday.
- 1:32Speaker 1: But it is the dog's birthday.
- 1:34Speaker 2: We should give him a treat.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Really, Okay, what kind of treat you think you'd like?
- 1:39Speaker 2: The bacon ones?
- 1:41Speaker 1: Do we have any? I don't know to check it out.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Olivern Lah named after the gray Pittsburgh pirate legend turns
- 1:48Speaker 1: how old today?
- 1:50Speaker 2: Five?
- 1:50Speaker 1: Five years old? But I mentioned it was a holiday.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Do you know what holiday?
- 1:53Speaker 3: It is?
- 1:54Speaker 2: Memorial Day?
- 1:55Speaker 1: What is Memorial Day? Do they teach you that in school?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Is it the holiday where we say celebrate more the
- 2:02Speaker 2: people in the army? Army?
- 2:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it's observed to honor the men and women who
- 2:07Speaker 1: actually died while serving armed That's what you were gonna go.
- 2:13Speaker 1: How convenient? So it's a it's it's it's a pretty
- 2:16Speaker 1: special holiday. We love our troops, don't we?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:21Speaker 1: Girl? Yeah? So what else has been going on? I
- 2:23Speaker 1: know today we are busy again. It's Memorial Day and
- 2:27Speaker 1: most people, I think take time and they barbecue and
- 2:29Speaker 1: they find an excuse to that. We said, you know what,
- 2:31Speaker 1: we're going to do some work. We detailed a couple
- 2:33Speaker 1: of vehicles. Today. You were doing your nails, which are done,
- 2:38Speaker 1: which are not done. I don't know a lot about nails,
- 2:41Speaker 1: but she was trying to explain the process. But we're
- 2:43Speaker 1: not gonna go there. And like I said, I mentioned Brandon,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I believe was traveling so he couldn't be here, and
- 2:48Speaker 1: all of all things, you beans add an air I
- 2:52Speaker 1: read it. I read it wrong. He's at an air
- 2:54Speaker 1: guard event shaking hands. I thought he was at an
- 2:58Speaker 1: air guitar event. Those are two different things.
- 3:02Speaker 2: This makes more sense, This makes a lot more sense.
- 3:05Speaker 1: You know what an air guitar is? What is it?
- 3:08Speaker 2: Guitar? Let you plug in? Is that right? Or is
- 3:12Speaker 2: that a different type?
- 3:14Speaker 1: It's a different kind of guitar. You know what an
- 3:15Speaker 1: air guitar is. It's when you pretend like you're playing
- 3:19Speaker 1: a guitar in the air. No no, no, no, no
- 3:23Speaker 1: no no no no like that. Yeah, you ever play
- 3:25Speaker 1: the air guitar? Yeah that's interesting. But yeah, okay, well
- 3:30Speaker 1: I'm a knucklehead. I thought it was an air guitar,
- 3:33Speaker 1: and I actually said, Wow, that's something I thought. I
- 3:34Speaker 1: never hear any of my boys say it was. Air
- 3:37Speaker 1: guard makes shout out to Ubano. He did give us.
- 3:43Speaker 1: We did some traveling this weekend, didn't we? Where did
- 3:46Speaker 1: we go?
- 3:47Speaker 2: Hotel?
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah? But what city? You don't remember what city we
- 3:50Speaker 1: went to that we were there for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- 3:55Speaker 1: You have no idea what's Oh my goodness, you have
- 3:57Speaker 1: no guesses. You have no idea where we were. Okay,
- 4:00Speaker 1: that's a pretty good guess, because yes, that's where we were.
- 4:02Speaker 1: How would you spell sarahcuse if you were to spell it,
- 4:04Speaker 1: try to spell it? Yeah? Okay, you so right now
- 4:11Speaker 1: you have say you so you okay, okay, okay, so
- 4:18Speaker 1: it's okay, just keep going. You're gonna be right.
- 4:20Speaker 2: You're gonna be What did you say for like the spelling?
- 4:22Speaker 1: Already you're wrong already?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Okay?
- 4:27Speaker 1: Do you want to know how? You want to know
- 4:28Speaker 1: how avery spelled it? A r A sarah q u
- 4:33Speaker 1: c e C.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I almost said to you, do.
- 4:35Speaker 1: You really want to know how to spell it?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Yes?
- 4:38Speaker 1: That's why are a se u s see syahcuse you
- 4:44Speaker 1: were way off. But yeah, so we went down there,
- 4:47Speaker 1: obviously Shadai Juben, you know, recommended a very good hotel.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And what do you think out of five stars? How
- 4:55Speaker 1: many stars would you give it?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Big? But I feel like it was like really pretty
- 5:00Speaker 2: and nice, and I feel like there was a pool,
- 5:04Speaker 2: but the pool wasn't.
- 5:05Speaker 1: That big, but you got wet and you swam right
- 5:08Speaker 1: because you're not that big anyways, right, what do you
- 5:10Speaker 1: need an Olympic sized pool where you can't touch the bottom?
- 5:13Speaker 1: You could touch the bottom on.
- 5:14Speaker 2: This, but I'd get like the whole hotel or just start.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Room the whole hotel. The experience four stars, four out
- 5:21Speaker 1: of five. That's pretty good.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Because I liked how the elevator had really could designs
- 5:26Speaker 2: in them.
- 5:27Speaker 1: What kind of designs was it? So that's that's how
- 5:29Speaker 1: you're gonna do your hotel reviews. Is based on the
- 5:31Speaker 1: elevator designs.
- 5:32Speaker 2: No, and there was also the rooms were really pretty
- 5:35Speaker 2: and nice.
- 5:36Speaker 1: They were very nice. How was the bed?
- 5:38Speaker 2: I actually slept on the floor, Yeah.
- 5:40Speaker 1: On top of pillows. Who are you comfy? Tell me
- 5:44Speaker 1: the truth?
- 5:46Speaker 2: I was okay.
- 5:47Speaker 1: You weren't comfort you you were you seemed like you
- 5:51Speaker 1: slept pretty good.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I did sleep good, but it wasn't as coffee as
- 5:55Speaker 2: those clean beds.
- 5:56Speaker 1: They should have slept on the floor and you could
- 5:58Speaker 1: have cuddled with Avery because she is not the greatest.
- 6:01Speaker 2: She did she sleeps like I slept right underneath your
- 6:05Speaker 2: bed and all I saw the whole night was Avery's
- 6:07Speaker 2: foot going like this on top like that was disgusting.
- 6:11Speaker 2: And she didn't have any socks on either.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Well, who would sleep with socks on?
- 6:15Speaker 2: I do all the time.
- 6:16Speaker 1: You sleep with socks on?
- 6:18Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:18Speaker 1: What is the matter with you? But we do. We
- 6:21Speaker 1: stayed at the Aloft Sarah Syracuse Aloft Hotels, So shout
- 6:26Speaker 1: out to Brittany. She took good care of us at
- 6:29Speaker 1: the front desk, set up the reservations. It was smooth
- 6:32Speaker 1: as what. Smooth as what? It's the first thing that
- 6:35Speaker 1: comes to your mind when you hear smooth as because
- 6:39Speaker 1: there's a couple of things. Some old people say smooth
- 6:42Speaker 1: as a baby's but I don't go with that one.
- 6:45Speaker 1: That's that's weird. Yeah, what do you think? Smooth as paper?
- 6:50Speaker 1: Smooth as paper? Okay, what I say? Smoothest butter butter.
- 6:59Speaker 2: That's good, that's good, right, We're smooth ass.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Cow, smooth as cows? Interesting? I don't know about that one.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna move on past that. So you give it
- 7:08Speaker 1: a four out of five, I agree with you. I
- 7:10Speaker 1: think it's a four out of five. The rooms were
- 7:12Speaker 1: super clean, the hallways were super clean, the lobby was
- 7:16Speaker 1: super clean. The pool was super clean until the one
- 7:18Speaker 1: kid actually got a nose bleed and was bleeding all
- 7:20Speaker 1: over the place. Then not on the pool, really really bad,
- 7:23Speaker 1: poor kid. That's what happens when you pick your nose
- 7:25Speaker 1: too much. Not saying this kid did it, but I'm
- 7:27Speaker 1: telling you, especially if you were to, if you were
- 7:30Speaker 1: to try to pick your nose with those nails, it
- 7:31Speaker 1: would go into your brain.
- 7:32Speaker 2: I don't pick my nose, Okay, I don't.
- 7:36Speaker 1: That's like saying you don't too.
- 7:38Speaker 2: I don't.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, me neither that.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I don't pick my nose.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Oh tud I don't do that.
- 7:46Speaker 2: No, I don't, I don't, I don't.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Okay. Anyways, anyways, Oh Syracuse, we we both went four
- 7:52Speaker 1: to five. Yeah. I like the rooms. What I what
- 7:55Speaker 1: I really liked that I don't see at a lot of hotels.
- 7:57Speaker 1: We didn't take advantage of this because we are pretty
- 7:59Speaker 1: busy with everything that we did. But they had the
- 8:01Speaker 1: whole board game cabinet. They were locked up, which is
- 8:04Speaker 1: which I agree. So you can go right to the
- 8:06Speaker 1: front desk, which is two steps away. You can rent
- 8:08Speaker 1: out a board game, and you can sit down on
- 8:10Speaker 1: the lobby and just play some board games. And we
- 8:13Speaker 1: love our board games.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I wanted to play the one that much fun, the
- 8:16Speaker 2: Elf one, the one Buddy Elf.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I know, Buddy the Elf is. But what was the game?
- 8:22Speaker 2: It looked like Monopoly, kind.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Of Oh could you imagine us in the lobby playing Monopoly?
- 8:29Speaker 2: But it still looks fun.
- 8:30Speaker 1: It did, but it's still Monopoly, And I feel.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Like, I don't think it was Monopoly.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Yeah it was. I just looked it up there as
- 8:36Speaker 1: a Monopoly. I can't talk Monopoly Elf board game?
- 8:41Speaker 2: Can I see what it looks like?
- 8:43Speaker 1: That's the one. Oh you guys hear that. I thought
- 8:47Speaker 1: it was thunder.
- 8:49Speaker 2: The motorcycle probably next door.
- 8:51Speaker 1: It's an amish buggy going by with its wheels because
- 8:55Speaker 1: we're we're in a little bit of a thunder and
- 8:57Speaker 1: lightning storm. But all right, so we went. We reviewed
- 9:01Speaker 1: the thing. You give it four because of the elevator.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I love the lobby, not because of.
- 9:05Speaker 2: The elevator because the quality of it, it wasn't it
- 9:09Speaker 2: wasn't disgusting and there was a rattle.
- 9:12Speaker 1: How many times we stayed at a place that was
- 9:14Speaker 1: discussing with rats in it? You did not? You didn't.
- 9:23Speaker 2: It was it was a I'm pretty sure like a
- 9:26Speaker 2: stuffed animal.
- 9:27Speaker 4: One.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Mm hmm, it was a stuffed animal. One.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Okay, that doesn't count. Stuffed animal. Rats don't make a
- 9:35Speaker 1: hotel dirty, but we do because when we travel there's
- 9:38Speaker 1: usually five of us. We tend to get sweet. So
- 9:41Speaker 1: we try to get two beds in a pull couch
- 9:43Speaker 1: wasn't available at this place, but the place was still
- 9:46Speaker 1: pretty good. And uh yeah, all right, So let's ask
- 9:50Speaker 1: you this. So we went to Syracuse. You can't spell it.
- 9:52Speaker 1: What was, in your opinion the best part of our
- 9:57Speaker 1: Syracuse trip? We did a lot of things. What do
- 10:01Speaker 1: you think was your favorite part? Should we tell them
- 10:03Speaker 1: what we did so then you have a little bit
- 10:05Speaker 1: more time to think. So we obviously got down there
- 10:08Speaker 1: on a Friday because the middle child, Avery was supposed
- 10:11Speaker 1: to play softball. We didn't know this, but we got
- 10:14Speaker 1: up super early, not as early as all the people
- 10:16Speaker 1: that started driving there from two hours away. In the
- 10:20Speaker 1: entire day first or the entire event got delayed two
- 10:22Speaker 1: hours and then it got canceled. So we were like,
- 10:25Speaker 1: oh boy, what do we do. We were all a
- 10:27Speaker 1: little bit sleepy, a couple of you were a little
- 10:29Speaker 1: bit cranky, and we said, all right, what are.
- 10:31Speaker 2: We going to do?
- 10:32Speaker 1: So we had a good breakfast and we went to
- 10:36Speaker 1: the zoo, and then after the zoo, I brought them
- 10:39Speaker 1: to a record store, the very first time they ever
- 10:42Speaker 1: went to a true record store shout out Sound Garden
- 10:45Speaker 1: in Syracuse. I we'll talk about that in a little
- 10:47Speaker 1: bit more. And then we went to dinner or yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 1: we went to dinner first, right, or did we go
- 10:54Speaker 1: mini golf?
- 10:55Speaker 2: Then dinner mini golf, then dinner mini golf.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Then we went to dinner because we.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Almost remember because we almost got a free pizza, and
- 11:03Speaker 2: Avery's like, what if if we got that, then we
- 11:07Speaker 2: don't have to buy dinner?
- 11:08Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yeah, sadly didn't get it.
- 11:11Speaker 1: And then by the time we got back from all
- 11:13Speaker 1: of that, it was a little bit later. You guys
- 11:16Speaker 1: all went swimming. We went to target as well, and
- 11:19Speaker 1: then everybody went swimming, and then we crashed and I
- 11:22Speaker 1: slept a lot better the second night than the first night.
- 11:24Speaker 1: What about you are about the same? Yeh wow, that
- 11:30Speaker 1: was a big yawn? Am I boring? You? Tired? And
- 11:35Speaker 1: then we woke up Sunday and Avery had three softball games,
- 11:42Speaker 1: and then we ended up going to Chipotle. It was
- 11:45Speaker 1: the first time we went to Chipotle. Then we found
- 11:47Speaker 1: this kill Or ice cream stand, stopped got quick a
- 11:50Speaker 1: little ice cream on the way to this. The next game,
- 11:54Speaker 1: watched some softball, then we headed home.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Yeah, we did a lot, but I think my favorite
- 11:59Speaker 2: might head been spending time with my family. And also you.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Actually enjoyed hanging out with your family or you're just
- 12:08Speaker 1: saying that so everybody thinks you're the sweetest little kid.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I did, all right, You're saying that with a smile,
- 12:13Speaker 1: so I kind of believe you. Other than hanging out
- 12:16Speaker 1: with your family, what did you like? Did you like
- 12:18Speaker 1: the zoo, the mini golf, the zoo, the mini golf,
- 12:20Speaker 1: zoo and the minigolf? Top two?
- 12:23Speaker 2: Well, yes, top two. Those two are tied with spending
- 12:27Speaker 2: family because spending family is with those two childre are
- 12:30Speaker 2: kind of connecting.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, less song, What was your
- 12:35Speaker 1: worst part? What was the part that you just didn't
- 12:37Speaker 1: like as much get.
- 12:39Speaker 2: A girl nose?
- 12:41Speaker 1: Oh you didn't like watching a kid get a bloody nose?
- 12:43Speaker 1: How did Avery take that she doesn't like blood?
- 12:45Speaker 2: No? Because I told her not to look and at
- 12:47Speaker 2: she went? And then I went, did she have.
- 12:49Speaker 1: A meltdowner or like get dizzy or weird? Or was
- 12:51Speaker 1: she no?
- 12:52Speaker 2: I holded her face in place. I went, this is
- 12:57Speaker 2: what it looks like. I said, don't look and at
- 12:59Speaker 2: you want? What?
- 13:01Speaker 1: So you for anybody? They obviously they can't see you're
- 13:04Speaker 1: not on camera. But she did the mcaulay culkin at
- 13:06Speaker 1: home alone, like, oh you put on the after sheave.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Have you ever see the movie?
- 13:10Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 13:11Speaker 1: Yeah, remember that part.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Apart for fair enough.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I so let me ask you this. So riding in
- 13:19Speaker 1: the car, we spent four or five hours riding in
- 13:22Speaker 1: the car. Was it fun or was it miserable and torture?
- 13:28Speaker 1: A mix of both a little mix.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Of ball because like I was squished like this.
- 13:33Speaker 1: You are the smallest, so you do get the middle.
- 13:36Speaker 2: For like three hours. And then it wasn't not that
- 13:40Speaker 2: bad because me and maybe put on some filters on
- 13:43Speaker 2: the shout out.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Snapchat shouted out snapchat. Im sure, there's gonna be a
- 13:47Speaker 1: lot of people from snapchat that are listening to this
- 13:50Speaker 1: and they're gonna think that shouted out, ah cool, all right,
- 13:54Speaker 1: so a little bit of well so you told me
- 13:55Speaker 1: to good? What what made it just miserable? Just being
- 13:59Speaker 1: in the middle, That's the only thing really made it miserable?
- 14:03Speaker 2: And and it may have been.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Was there fighting over because I was falling asleep and
- 14:13Speaker 4: I was like this, like droping in my seat, and
- 14:16Speaker 4: I like went on.
- 14:18Speaker 2: On that like a little bit, and I went like this,
- 14:21Speaker 2: and she went and pushed me right back up and
- 14:24Speaker 2: I slammed on Avery.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Wow.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Well, Avery also takes up the most roomant of all
- 14:30Speaker 2: of us. So if she's sitting normal, she shits like
- 14:32Speaker 2: this with her legs out completely, and then when she sleeps,
- 14:37Speaker 2: she has her foot on the like the thing that
- 14:40Speaker 2: you can open, the thing right in front of me,
- 14:43Speaker 2: you know what I mean, and the console. Once I
- 14:46Speaker 2: was woke up from my sleep and she's like like
- 14:50Speaker 2: her head is on my lap because she's like.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Hey, yeah, all things considered till you guys got along
- 14:57Speaker 1: pretty good. And I was expecting worse. So that's good,
- 15:00Speaker 1: all right. So that's I guess what was your favorite
- 15:02Speaker 1: thing at the zoo. We went to the zoo a
- 15:04Speaker 1: lot of stuff. Forget the name of the zoo in Syracuse.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Now it used to be Burnette Park Zoo, but now
- 15:12Speaker 1: it's what is it? It's like, Oh, the Rosamond Gifford Zoo.
- 15:18Speaker 1: It was your favorite thing because there were some cool things.
- 15:22Speaker 2: The penguins.
- 15:23Speaker 1: The penguins were the coolest thing. It was a little
- 15:25Speaker 1: bit chilly.
- 15:25Speaker 2: It was a little bit really was orange monkeys? Those
- 15:28Speaker 2: ones i'ven't always wanted. I've always wanted to see those.
- 15:31Speaker 2: And then I saw them.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Which ones? Were they? The little little ones?
- 15:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and they're like little monkeys orange and I've always
- 15:38Speaker 2: wanted to see you pretty cool? Are they ranging things?
- 15:42Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I think they're some kind of No, they're lion monkeys.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Yes, isn't that weird. They're lion monkeys, but they're little
- 15:50Speaker 1: lions are pretty big.
- 15:52Speaker 2: I think it's because of the color. But I think
- 15:55Speaker 2: I've always wanted to see them, so I'm really excited.
- 15:57Speaker 1: One of my favorite moments of the whole thing is
- 15:59Speaker 1: remember when we're over by the lemmurs and they were
- 16:02Speaker 1: trying to get him out and they opened the staff
- 16:03Speaker 1: opened the door or they're in the cage, and they
- 16:05Speaker 1: were going nuts. How loud were they?
- 16:07Speaker 2: And I said, shut the door, shut the door, please.
- 16:10Speaker 1: You were a little bit scared, weren't you. It's okay,
- 16:14Speaker 1: it's okay. But then they got him in there, and
- 16:16Speaker 1: then they were quiet, and we it sounded like there
- 16:17Speaker 1: would have been like forty of them in there. How
- 16:19Speaker 1: many was there?
- 16:19Speaker 2: They were allowed?
- 16:21Speaker 1: Holy moly? Cool? Look all right? What about? And then
- 16:24Speaker 1: we heard the.
- 16:25Speaker 2: The top one monkey that had like a tail, like
- 16:27Speaker 2: all the way down to his knee cap had.
- 16:30Speaker 1: A long tail. It was longer his tail or my beard.
- 16:33Speaker 2: His tail. His tail is way longer than you?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Whoa way longer than you?
- 16:39Speaker 4: Then yeah he was.
- 16:40Speaker 2: He was like long as long as you, like, as
- 16:43Speaker 2: tall as you?
- 16:43Speaker 1: I'll tall am I like? What my four foot five
- 16:46Speaker 1: foot six? Come on, give me a gas?
- 16:49Speaker 2: Okay, what you guess?
- 16:52Speaker 1: It's okay. I'll tell m I six six foot hot tel.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Thankfully he's boyfriend is almost seven okay, he's no, he's
- 17:03Speaker 2: like six. Yeah.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Anyways, I'm between five and six foot apparently you're right,
- 17:09Speaker 1: I mean between five and six alright, So and then
- 17:13Speaker 1: the elephant. Remember the elephants were there. Remember there was
- 17:17Speaker 1: that little baby elephant. He was playing with a stick
- 17:19Speaker 1: like it was a little toy.
- 17:20Speaker 2: And it got stuck on his head.
- 17:22Speaker 1: He was like, oh, look at me. I'm balancing this
- 17:24Speaker 1: on my head. He was putting on a show, wasn't he.
- 17:27Speaker 1: It was pretty Yeah, it was this on my head
- 17:31Speaker 1: that's been on It's a headband and it's been on
- 17:33Speaker 1: your head for a couple hours.
- 17:34Speaker 4: Now.
- 17:35Speaker 2: I didn't put it there.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 17:37Speaker 2: I think mom might have.
- 17:38Speaker 1: She snuck it on there. Yeah, elephant head. Speaking of heads,
- 17:43Speaker 1: it was pretty cool. But then as we were head
- 17:45Speaker 1: to the elephant thing, we were like, oh cool. Then
- 17:47Speaker 1: what happened? Something started roaring.
- 17:50Speaker 2: He was a lion, it was a leopard.
- 17:54Speaker 1: It was a tiger, and then the tiger lions and
- 17:57Speaker 1: leopards and tigers.
- 17:58Speaker 2: And marl and then tiger walk.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Where do you think he was going nuts? Was he hungry?
- 18:03Speaker 1: Was he like feeding me lunch?
- 18:05Speaker 2: Yeah? I got it on video. Actually it was really cool.
- 18:09Speaker 1: You have to send that to people. Check it out.
- 18:11Speaker 1: And then the sirens started going off in the city
- 18:13Speaker 1: and the wolves started howling, and then they were I
- 18:16Speaker 1: don't think they went but you know what my ultimate
- 18:18Speaker 1: favorite thing that happened that was at the zoo. It
- 18:20Speaker 1: happened during lunch. Do you remember what happened during lunch?
- 18:25Speaker 2: And sausages deuce on her lap and it gus they're
- 18:28Speaker 2: gonna on her pants. Yeah, and then mom like forced
- 18:34Speaker 2: her to change pants with her so she had a
- 18:37Speaker 2: clean mom dirty one.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Yes. So we're sitting there eating lunch and we packed
- 18:43Speaker 1: it because you're allowed to bring, you know, some snacks
- 18:45Speaker 1: and some food and stuff like that. So we packed
- 18:47Speaker 1: it in there, and the kids wanted some Bianna sausages
- 18:50Speaker 1: and I was having some trail mix and I like,
- 18:55Speaker 1: that's okay, caring and sharing.
- 18:56Speaker 2: And they say, right, sharing is caring.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Yeah, that too is sharing.
- 19:01Speaker 2: That's not a saying.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Pretty sure, that's what car Bear says.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Right sharing is Karen. Hey, Sharon, it's called Karen.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Oh you're being a Karen. I was calling you Sharon
- 19:11Speaker 1: because you were sharing. But okay, Karen.
- 19:13Speaker 2: No, I'm not a Karen. I'm saying I thought you
- 19:16Speaker 2: were talking about Karen.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm not a Karen, so you don't care.
- 19:20Speaker 2: No, I'm not a Karen. A Karen is something who's
- 19:25Speaker 2: mean is that what Karen? If you're all if there's
- 19:29Speaker 2: a Karen watching this and you're not mean, you're not
- 19:33Speaker 2: like mean, Karen. You gotta have a certain hair.
- 19:37Speaker 1: What's the kind of thing?
- 19:41Speaker 2: No, like that, like where their hair is like swoop
- 19:44Speaker 2: down the front and they hit like looks like a
- 19:48Speaker 2: bull cut.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Interesting. Yeah, okay, Karen's but back to the Vanna sausage nightmare. Yes, bad,
- 20:00Speaker 1: so she was obviously eating there. She had a fork
- 20:03Speaker 1: in there.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Wait, what if they don't know what Vina sausages are?
- 20:06Speaker 1: I think they know?
- 20:07Speaker 2: What what if somebody's wanting them? They're like, we're real saucerersers,
- 20:12Speaker 2: so Viana sausages they're so so good.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Well, okay, then describe to them what is aa sausage?
- 20:17Speaker 2: They're like soft but they feel like a hot dog.
- 20:22Speaker 2: But they're soft and they're not and they're in a
- 20:26Speaker 2: cam and they have juice inside of them and they're
- 20:31Speaker 2: not like and they're made of meat and they're not
- 20:36Speaker 2: candy damn sausages.
- 20:40Speaker 1: And they come with a couple of different flavors. You
- 20:42Speaker 1: guys like that. But the sauce in the juice is
- 20:46Speaker 1: pretty thick sauce, right, not just like water.
- 20:49Speaker 2: It's disgusting. It's like you could feel.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Do you know why they have the why the Vienna
- 20:55Speaker 1: sausages are in that sauce.
- 20:57Speaker 2: To keep them not rotten?
- 20:59Speaker 1: Good job to preserve them. But yeah, people that just
- 21:02Speaker 1: drank the juice to drink it, they're pretty abc and
- 21:05Speaker 1: just d.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Disgusting, right, Yeah, like Avery she takes her Bana sausages.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Is that? Yeah? I think she was doing this. She
- 21:13Speaker 2: took her Rianna sausage and dipped in the juice in them,
- 21:17Speaker 2: went and then dipped it again. And that's disgusting. That's
- 21:21Speaker 2: not needed, Yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Not needed. So the sissy had a fork and it
- 21:27Speaker 1: was getting ready to eat that. Maybe ate one just
- 21:29Speaker 1: put it in there, went to grab a chip or
- 21:31Speaker 1: something like that or hand something over to Meg, wasn't
- 21:34Speaker 1: paying attention. Hits it with her arm in The whole
- 21:38Speaker 1: Vienna sausage came right to her and just I grabbed
- 21:44Speaker 1: it as quick as I could, But the juice didn't
- 21:46Speaker 1: spill a single sausage, but the juice went all over
- 21:51Speaker 1: her leg area and.
- 21:52Speaker 2: She said, she said, he looked like, come up, he
- 21:55Speaker 2: looks like I paid five pounds.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Pretty embarrassed teenager. She was laughing. She wasn't happy, so
- 22:01Speaker 1: they decided to go into the bathroom to try to
- 22:03Speaker 1: clean it, and apparently when Meg was trying to clean it,
- 22:06Speaker 1: it made it a little bit and worse. So they decided,
- 22:08Speaker 1: all right, we're gonna do with the great pants swap.
- 22:11Speaker 1: So they came out wardrobes changed, and we're like, interesting,
- 22:15Speaker 1: but hey, Meg was rocking the Theanna sauce. It didn't.
- 22:18Speaker 1: It turned into a joke the entire time. Like, you
- 22:20Speaker 1: guys smell that. I smell Vianna sausages. The tigers are
- 22:23Speaker 1: probably roar and because they're hungry for lunch, they want
- 22:26Speaker 1: Vianna sausages.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I'm not really you can actually smell them right now.
- 22:29Speaker 1: You can smell right now, it's probably your breath.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I can smell the juice.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Interesting, the joke is it. It's never good if you
- 22:40Speaker 1: have to explain the joke.
- 22:41Speaker 2: You were just talking about how you made. I'm never.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Anything else about the zoom. We're that pretty much. We
- 22:47Speaker 1: like the elephants, the tigers, the monkeys, the Vienna sausage juice,
- 22:52Speaker 1: the penguin. The penguins, Yeah, they weren't very active.
- 22:55Speaker 2: The penguin. It was like this, like sitting there and
- 22:59Speaker 2: just fell asleep. I know one of them was like that,
- 23:03Speaker 2: they can't see me. I don't know how to explain it.
- 23:05Speaker 2: They put their arms out and looked up at the
- 23:07Speaker 2: sky and what they sound?
- 23:09Speaker 1: They made some weird noises. They almost sounded like a donkey.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I guess I never really heard of penguin making noise.
- 23:15Speaker 2: And then penguins are my second favorite animal.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Oh what's your first?
- 23:20Speaker 2: Oh? Cool, Well, they have always been my favorite, like
- 23:24Speaker 2: penguins have always been my favorite, but I just recently liked.
- 23:28Speaker 1: It would have been cool if there was a koala there,
- 23:31Speaker 1: but there wasn't.
- 23:31Speaker 2: There was a red panel though, I was what do you.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Think of that? It was just kind of chilling in
- 23:35Speaker 1: the tree sleeping, wasn't it. Yeah? Anything else about the.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Zoop there was? Yeah? Something else was really cool. There
- 23:43Speaker 2: was like a uh like the thing that was making noise.
- 23:48Speaker 2: It kind of looked like an old man balding what
- 23:52Speaker 2: it kind of looks like you and your bald era
- 23:55Speaker 2: looked like you and your bald era.
- 23:57Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna go bald, right, No, you're not.
- 24:00Speaker 2: I won't talk to you for a month. Do you're
- 24:02Speaker 2: not going bald? Again.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna go What was so wrong with
- 24:06Speaker 1: me being bald?
- 24:07Speaker 2: You did not look normal. You looked like a different person.
- 24:12Speaker 2: If you would have shaved off your beard, nobody would
- 24:14Speaker 2: have told it was you.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I'm not gonna shave off my beard, just my hair.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Shave it, shave it, save it, shave.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I think this is about time to end the show. No, okay,
- 24:25Speaker 1: I won't shave my beard. No, I think my summertime
- 24:28Speaker 1: look is. I think I think I need to know. Yeah,
- 24:32Speaker 1: I think I think I need to just shave it off.
- 24:33Speaker 2: No, you're not. No, you finally grew out your hair.
- 24:38Speaker 2: It made me so mad when you had like little,
- 24:40Speaker 2: like this long hairs.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Why did it make you so mad?
- 24:44Speaker 2: Because they looked like you had this long hairs and
- 24:47Speaker 2: they were just poking out of your head. You look
- 24:50Speaker 2: like grew. You looked like grew from the minions. That's
- 24:56Speaker 2: how bald you were. Yeah, balding is balding.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I'm going bald anyway, so I don't grow hair on
- 25:04Speaker 1: top of my head.
- 25:06Speaker 2: I will literally take that shaver or something whatever it is,
- 25:10Speaker 2: right out of your hand. Okay, what if I do
- 25:14Speaker 2: it when you're and I'll do your beard.
- 25:15Speaker 1: If you do it, we're now we're just being now,
- 25:18Speaker 1: we're just being ridiculous.
- 25:20Speaker 2: No, if you try to shave your beard, I'm at
- 25:23Speaker 2: your your hair, your hair. I'm going to shave your beard.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Then you you won't be able to be on the
- 25:28Speaker 1: show anymore.
- 25:29Speaker 2: No, then I won't shave your beard. Yeah, watch your leg?
- 25:33Speaker 1: What did you wax my leg?
- 25:38Speaker 2: Because it would hurt and I would wax your arms too. What?
- 25:41Speaker 2: All right?
- 25:42Speaker 1: So other than the zoo, what else any golf you
- 25:46Speaker 1: talk about minigolf? What's your favorite part of the minigolf?
- 25:49Speaker 2: Yeah? Making that whome one.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Oh, tell everybody about it.
- 25:53Speaker 2: So I hit the ball and it went right through
- 25:57Speaker 2: the castle. I'm pretty sure it was a castle on
- 26:01Speaker 2: the barn. It was a barn, went right through the
- 26:05Speaker 2: barn and went It wasn't an actual barn. It was
- 26:08Speaker 2: like one of those thick ones that had a hole
- 26:10Speaker 2: in it and you could put your ball through it.
- 26:12Speaker 2: And my ball went straight and it was like a
- 26:15Speaker 2: skinny line that your ball had to go right across.
- 26:17Speaker 2: My ball went right across, It went right through it
- 26:20Speaker 2: and went rolling, and it hil off the wall and
- 26:24Speaker 2: perfectly bounced right in this amazing.
- 26:28Speaker 1: That was pretty good. It was a windmill. It was
- 26:30Speaker 1: the windmill. Yeah, I'm pretty sure, wasn't it?
- 26:34Speaker 2: No, because my ball hit the side of the wind mall. No,
- 26:40Speaker 2: it was the barn one, remember, because they want on
- 26:45Speaker 2: the skinny line and Avery didn't air quolts right now,
- 26:49Speaker 2: so you guys can't see it. But I was quoting
- 26:52Speaker 2: she didn't hit it twice over there, She didn't. Wow.
- 26:58Speaker 2: She when everybody walked straight to it.
- 27:01Speaker 1: You're talking smack right now.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I'm not talking smack.
- 27:04Speaker 1: It sounds like you're kind of talking smack right now.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I don't think, so tell us about the incident. Then?
- 27:12Speaker 2: What incident? The one where she pretended like she didn't
- 27:15Speaker 2: hit it twice?
- 27:16Speaker 1: M hm.
- 27:16Speaker 2: So she hit the ball off the little ramp that
- 27:21Speaker 2: this is the barn one and it was a skinny ramp,
- 27:24Speaker 2: and I'm like and she's like, well, I should totally
- 27:27Speaker 2: get another dance, and we're all like, why should you
- 27:30Speaker 2: get another chance? We don't get another stand. And then
- 27:32Speaker 2: she hit it twice and nobody saw her because she
- 27:37Speaker 2: hit it and it bounced off the wall, and she
- 27:39Speaker 2: pretended like she yeah, hit it, hit it again, and
- 27:42Speaker 2: then it bounced off the wall again.
- 27:44Speaker 1: And then she hit it again. See I saw it
- 27:47Speaker 1: a little bit different, but you guys were all getting
- 27:49Speaker 1: cranky about it.
- 27:53Speaker 2: And then she said, I did it.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Was it that big of a deal. We were there
- 27:58Speaker 1: for fun.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Like its scale should have happened.
- 28:03Speaker 1: All right, We're going to take a super quick break
- 28:08Speaker 1: and we're back and we were talking about a little
- 28:11Speaker 1: controversy on the mini golf course. So I decided why
- 28:14Speaker 1: not to hear from the source reason. Isla was trying
- 28:19Speaker 1: to say you were double tapping, and I said, who cares?
- 28:21Speaker 1: We were just having fun.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Because she did unreal right, now that it's over, can
- 28:30Speaker 2: you admit that you did.
- 28:32Speaker 3: I did not double tap that one thing.
- 28:34Speaker 1: It seemed like it was more like like a hockey style.
- 28:37Speaker 1: The ball was kind of rolling, and he just kind
- 28:39Speaker 1: of was like, just to get it over with, yeah,
- 28:43Speaker 1: double tap. But either way, we already talked about the zoo,
- 28:46Speaker 1: the Vienna sausages, and I tried to make Elis spell Syracuse.
- 28:50Speaker 1: It didn't go so well. So we were talking about
- 28:51Speaker 1: mini golf, and I mean, I guess I asked her
- 28:54Speaker 1: real quick, what was the best part of the Syracuse trip?
- 28:56Speaker 1: If you want to just kind of throw it out
- 28:58Speaker 1: there super quick. I know we already went. I don't
- 29:00Speaker 1: want to go too far backwards on that, But what
- 29:02Speaker 1: was your favorite part of the trip?
- 29:03Speaker 3: My softball tournament?
- 29:05Speaker 2: There?
- 29:06Speaker 1: It is we were there, well, we were there for softball,
- 29:09Speaker 1: So I mean, give a little bit of a recap,
- 29:12Speaker 1: but you're softball. But I want Eila to give a
- 29:15Speaker 1: recap of the softball to see how accurate it really
- 29:19Speaker 1: is from there. So give a full recap of the games.
- 29:22Speaker 1: How many games did she play?
- 29:24Speaker 2: Were?
- 29:24Speaker 1: Okay, let's give a recap. How'd the first game go?
- 29:27Speaker 2: The first game was like, okay, I can't remember if
- 29:32Speaker 2: one or not. Then second game we did not win.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I don't think they want to either.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Okay, So that's the recap from the spectator.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Now I think I think they might have actually won.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Okay, So I was going to say one and two
- 29:50Speaker 1: not bad? All right, Avery, give us the recap. How
- 29:53Speaker 1: game one go?
- 29:54Speaker 3: Game one was our first game ever playing together as
- 29:57Speaker 3: a team, and it was just trial and error and
- 30:02Speaker 3: it didn't go very well.
- 30:03Speaker 1: We lasted try seven yep in it it happens. I mean,
- 30:07Speaker 1: you guys came out. You could tell there was some jitters.
- 30:10Speaker 1: You could tell there was a couple of made some
- 30:12Speaker 1: errors whatever. But at the end, after the really had
- 30:14Speaker 1: two bad innings, you gave us. You gave up five
- 30:18Speaker 1: in the first, five in a second, and then it
- 30:20Speaker 1: ended up being like ten to three, so you held
- 30:22Speaker 1: them after that. It was a very good team, you know,
- 30:24Speaker 1: you guys, you guys shift some things around. Things happened.
- 30:28Speaker 1: But like I said, game two.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Game two was good better. We had our first two
- 30:39Speaker 3: innings were bad, which put us down by a lot,
- 30:44Speaker 3: and then after the first two innings it was ten
- 30:48Speaker 3: to one US, so we came back.
- 30:51Speaker 1: And it went No, it was ten to one the
- 30:53Speaker 1: other team. You said ten to one US, you were
- 30:55Speaker 1: losing ten to one.
- 30:57Speaker 3: No, we were losing seven and nothing after. If we
- 31:00Speaker 3: didn't count those two innings, we would have we got
- 31:03Speaker 3: you from there. It was ten to one if the
- 31:07Speaker 3: score was zero zero after.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Those Okay, that's an interesting I guess that's the kid perspective.
- 31:11Speaker 1: From my perspective, it was ten to one. They came back,
- 31:15Speaker 1: tied it and they went to extra innings, scored a run,
- 31:19Speaker 1: got up eleven to ten, correct, and then ended up
- 31:23Speaker 1: or no, no, you gave it, but either way. They ended
- 31:24Speaker 1: up losing by one on a walk off, and it
- 31:26Speaker 1: was a very exciting game versus A vers a really
- 31:29Speaker 1: good team and a very good comeback. You guys started
- 31:32Speaker 1: to click a little bit. You guys strung together some walks,
- 31:34Speaker 1: some hits.
- 31:35Speaker 2: It was.
- 31:35Speaker 1: It was fun to watch. And then the third game.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Of the third game, we had to play on a
- 31:40Speaker 3: t ball field. It was because all the other games
- 31:44Speaker 3: were so far behind, they just they had an ext jump,
- 31:48Speaker 3: so they just quickly put lines on a t ball
- 31:51Speaker 3: field and called it and we ended up winning that game.
- 31:56Speaker 3: I don't remember what the score was, but all I
- 31:58Speaker 3: know is we won.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:02Speaker 3: We played a team that was half Tenure kids and
- 32:07Speaker 3: half twelve of you kids.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Yeah, and like I said, at the end of the day,
- 32:11Speaker 1: it seemed like you guys had fun, and that's what
- 32:13Speaker 1: it's all about. Like I said, you guys got to
- 32:15Speaker 1: play in a first tournament. It was a little bit
- 32:18Speaker 1: not a traditional tournament because of the weather and cancelations
- 32:21Speaker 1: and all that good stuff. But I don't know, overall,
- 32:24Speaker 1: did you have a good time. Nice? So we'll continue
- 32:28Speaker 1: with some softball trips and some softball stuff and Isla
- 32:33Speaker 1: took a You probably didn't remember much of the second
- 32:36Speaker 1: game because you took a very long nap during the
- 32:39Speaker 1: second game.
- 32:40Speaker 2: But I all I know is that we lost.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Yeah, which whatever, it is, what it is. I mean,
- 32:45Speaker 1: at the end of the day, even if you win
- 32:46Speaker 1: it all, what do you get like a medal or something?
- 32:48Speaker 1: That's all right?
- 32:48Speaker 3: I don't even think you get anything from that tournament.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I said, yeah, it is what it is. So
- 32:55Speaker 1: let me ask you this, isla, what do you think
- 32:58Speaker 1: you'd do if you were.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Up to that hit it so hard and run all
- 33:03Speaker 2: of the bases.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Wow? Okay, it's that easy, easy, isn't it.
- 33:08Speaker 2: I was the first one I would have.
- 33:11Speaker 3: It's not that easy.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Actually, I'd go two bases, two bases.
- 33:15Speaker 1: You're gonna hit a doubble. I mean. So so seeing
- 33:18Speaker 1: that kind of pitching, which is much much different than
- 33:21Speaker 1: your league pitching, like, was it quite a bit of
- 33:23Speaker 1: an adjustment.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Yeah. It was so much faster and they were so
- 33:29Speaker 3: much more accurate.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Mm hm.
- 33:33Speaker 3: The ball coming towards you was a whole different.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:38Speaker 1: You get some good at bats, a couple of file balls,
- 33:41Speaker 1: you know, some strikeouts. It is what it is, you know,
- 33:43Speaker 1: But all right, what's up?
- 33:46Speaker 2: I feel like if I would make the first two
- 33:49Speaker 2: bases and then I would make the next base and
- 33:53Speaker 2: then make it home. That's what I feel like.
- 33:57Speaker 1: That's what she feels like. I think I think she
- 33:59Speaker 1: could get a walk.
- 34:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I should get a walk. She's still tiny.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Maybe she'd get the bat on the ball. When there's
- 34:06Speaker 1: four balls, then you get to go to they throw
- 34:09Speaker 1: four balls and then you get a free base base
- 34:11Speaker 1: on balls.
- 34:13Speaker 2: I think I would make two and then I would
- 34:16Speaker 2: make the other two.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Oh, she's gonna get a walk, and she's gonna steal
- 34:18Speaker 1: bea saving and she's gonna go brown, all right. Other
- 34:26Speaker 1: than mini golf, softball, the zoo, anything else from the trip,
- 34:30Speaker 1: we talked about the bloody nose too, but either way,
- 34:33Speaker 1: you didn't care for that too much.
- 34:34Speaker 3: The book couldn't look back.
- 34:37Speaker 1: You're not my mom.
- 34:39Speaker 2: I told you not to, and then you tried to.
- 34:42Speaker 2: I was trying to help you. Well, I wanted to up,
- 34:45Speaker 2: and then I holded your head in place.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Yeah, and you made me mad, all right.
- 34:51Speaker 1: So we brought some snacks. I want you guys to say,
- 34:53Speaker 1: what are the greatest snacks for a road trip of
- 34:58Speaker 1: all time? Isla, what's the go too. If you get
- 35:00Speaker 1: to go to the store, any aisle, any snack, and
- 35:04Speaker 1: that's the one snack that you get to eat in
- 35:06Speaker 1: the car that's gonna end up all over the seats,
- 35:09Speaker 1: all over the floor. Probably cheese it.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Donuts, cheese it and donuts.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Okay, well, I guess we're gonna go to cheese its
- 35:20Speaker 1: and donuts. Avery.
- 35:21Speaker 3: Mine is the rits bit cheesecackers mm hmm and cosmic brownish.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Wow. Okay, that's a pretty solid that's what I that's
- 35:35Speaker 1: what you ate on the on the snacks. That's pretty
- 35:38Speaker 1: that's decent. All right, that's all right, that's all right.
- 35:40Speaker 1: And we of all the places that we ate when
- 35:43Speaker 1: we were down there, whether it was in the hotel room,
- 35:46Speaker 1: whether it was on the road, what do you think
- 35:48Speaker 1: the greatest food that we had this weekend?
- 35:52Speaker 2: Because of the funny sutte type of food just whatever.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I mean, we went to Tully's.
- 35:59Speaker 2: For funniness, I would pick the Vienna flasters and for
- 36:03Speaker 2: like food. Probably the best prison in all time history
- 36:08Speaker 2: was the I can't remember what it was Tullies. No.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Oh, we went to the brewery, but I forgot about that.
- 36:18Speaker 2: But the first one I met, the first one and
- 36:21Speaker 2: the second one. That was the second one. The first
- 36:24Speaker 2: one was one hundred Chipotle.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Yeah, she got the have you ever ate a Chipotle? Avery?
- 36:32Speaker 2: What?
- 36:34Speaker 1: Yeah? And I look at the make your own taco.
- 36:37Speaker 1: So they had the two shells and all the meat
- 36:39Speaker 1: and all that stuff. So she got to make it
- 36:40Speaker 1: the way she wanted it, and she enjoyed it.
- 36:43Speaker 2: And I didn't really like the meat, but I still
- 36:45Speaker 2: ate them.
- 36:46Speaker 1: They don't have beef. They only had chicken or steak,
- 36:49Speaker 1: and she went chicken, and she didn't love it, but
- 36:51Speaker 1: she covered it up with enough sour cream apparently and
- 36:55Speaker 1: cheese to make it her own.
- 36:58Speaker 2: What was your had my whole dish of cheese. I
- 37:01Speaker 2: met my whole dish sour cream in that one.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Talk mm hmm. Maybe what was your What was your
- 37:07Speaker 1: favorite food of the trip?
- 37:10Speaker 3: My favorite food of the whole trip was probably the
- 37:15Speaker 3: brewery because I got pulled pork nachos and they were
- 37:18Speaker 3: like so good, those.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Were good nachos. That was awesome. A shout out to
- 37:22Speaker 1: that place. It was like Myers or something like that.
- 37:25Speaker 1: I mean, I E RS or something like that brewery.
- 37:28Speaker 1: It was really close to the hotel that we went in.
- 37:30Speaker 1: I mean we got pizza, we got French fries, we
- 37:32Speaker 1: got pulled pork, nachos, we got crab rangoon depth and
- 37:37Speaker 1: probably some other stuff. And it was fantastic.
- 37:39Speaker 2: And she ate the whole dish. That's how good it was.
- 37:42Speaker 2: She couldn't stop.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Okay, I did not eat the whole dish because people
- 37:47Speaker 3: took servings off of the dish.
- 37:50Speaker 1: And I said that we couldn't go home and leftovers
- 37:53Speaker 1: because we were in the hotel. And I'll tell you what.
- 37:54Speaker 2: And we were sharing. He told us before you ordered
- 37:57Speaker 2: it that we were sharing it.
- 38:00Speaker 3: And I did. Love, took a place of it, Meg
- 38:04Speaker 3: took a plate of it, and my dad took some
- 38:05Speaker 3: of it.
- 38:06Speaker 1: It was so good that poor Oh what about real
- 38:12Speaker 1: quick before we get out of here, what about the
- 38:14Speaker 1: scooters all over the city?
- 38:17Speaker 2: Oh?
- 38:17Speaker 1: Yeah, could you explain? I want to, I let a
- 38:19Speaker 1: start first, explain, like what are they and how do
- 38:22Speaker 1: you think they work? Because it was an interesting kind
- 38:24Speaker 1: of I mean, if you live in a city, it's
- 38:26Speaker 1: probably normal, but for us in the country, not so normal.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Right. Well, there were these scooters that you can rent
- 38:33Speaker 2: and you every minute, every minute you have you pay
- 38:37Speaker 2: twenty four cents.
- 38:38Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure thirty six cents a minute, I think
- 38:41Speaker 1: six cents whatever.
- 38:43Speaker 2: And then they people just left some there because they're like, oop,
- 38:47Speaker 2: I ran out of money, let me just leave it here.
- 38:50Speaker 2: That's what I thought. And it's not normal for us
- 38:52Speaker 2: because we don't live there, but it was what it
- 38:57Speaker 2: was like.
- 38:58Speaker 1: It was cool, Avery, What was your take on them?
- 39:00Speaker 3: I kind of wanted to own myself my take on
- 39:03Speaker 3: the scooters and bikes. They were electric, by the way,
- 39:07Speaker 3: and my take was if like people rent them out
- 39:11Speaker 3: and they would be driving them and maybe they got
- 39:14Speaker 3: to their location so they just got off of it
- 39:17Speaker 3: and left there, or like Ila said, they ran out
- 39:21Speaker 3: of money or my take on this is when they
- 39:27Speaker 3: were in the little things. I didn't see chargers to
- 39:32Speaker 3: go with the so what if they just die?
- 39:37Speaker 1: Yeah, So I looked up real quick. What they're called
- 39:39Speaker 1: is vo veeo scooters, and they're unlocked by using the
- 39:43Speaker 1: vo app and you scan a QR code. Writers the
- 39:46Speaker 1: navigate using the app to end their ride, ensuring the
- 39:48Speaker 1: scooter is parked upright and legally, often requiring a photo
- 39:52Speaker 1: verification from proper parking. They have also tracks and vehicle
- 39:55Speaker 1: locations in geo fence areas. So you just download and app,
- 39:59Speaker 1: find a scooters stand the code of Boom, you go
- 40:01Speaker 1: on it. You're supposed to wear a helmet, which we
- 40:03Speaker 1: didn't see that, and yeah, you just push off with
- 40:06Speaker 1: one foot and engage a throttle and then you just
- 40:08Speaker 1: start riding. And then apparently when you want to end it,
- 40:11Speaker 1: you just park it upright. You just parked scoter upright
- 40:14Speaker 1: and out of the way of pedestrians. Then the app
- 40:17Speaker 1: will guide you on how to end your ride and
- 40:19Speaker 1: confirm parking, which again requires a photo. So apparently you
- 40:22Speaker 1: just put it upright, boom, snap a photo and it's good,
- 40:26Speaker 1: and then you just complete the app instructions to end
- 40:28Speaker 1: your ride.
- 40:31Speaker 2: And I didn't like one. I bet you one of
- 40:34Speaker 2: them because some of them they were just like pushed
- 40:37Speaker 2: over like they didn't even care. It looked like they
- 40:41Speaker 2: didn't even care. They just pushed it over, popped it
- 40:43Speaker 2: on the ground.
- 40:44Speaker 1: So I don't find it was interesting. We turned it
- 40:46Speaker 1: into a little bit of a game and being like,
- 40:49Speaker 1: let's count how many scooters we see. I just think
- 40:51Speaker 1: it's weird and again not something that we offer here
- 40:54Speaker 1: because if you're paying thirty six cents a minute, and
- 40:56Speaker 1: you had to ride one to the next closest place,
- 40:58Speaker 1: you'd pay a lot of money. But I just thought
- 41:00Speaker 1: it was weird because a lot of these scooters weren't
- 41:02Speaker 1: near like a business. They were just in the middle
- 41:03Speaker 1: of the sidewalk, in the middle of nowhere. It's like,
- 41:06Speaker 1: did they run out of money? Did you say, did
- 41:08Speaker 1: they ended up, you know, running out of money or
- 41:11Speaker 1: did they die a charge because they are electric? Interesting?
- 41:14Speaker 1: But all right, let's let's wrap this up, all right,
- 41:18Speaker 1: because let's get out of here. I know Avery's on
- 41:20Speaker 1: location joined us for a little bit. I said, we're
- 41:22Speaker 1: going to do ten minutes. We're already at fifteen, so
- 41:25Speaker 1: we'll wrap this up. We're not going to rate the
- 41:28Speaker 1: fridge today. We'll potentially rate one next week if we
- 41:32Speaker 1: do this again. But overall, one thumbs up, two thumbs up.
- 41:35Speaker 1: What do we think about the Syracuse trip?
- 41:39Speaker 3: I'd give it one and a half thumbs up.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Okay, somebody had a thumb remove somehow one and a
- 41:46Speaker 1: half thumbs up either one or two or one and
- 41:48Speaker 1: a half thumbs up?
- 41:50Speaker 2: One?
- 41:51Speaker 1: Only one? Why only one? One and a half is better?
- 41:54Speaker 1: You're on one and a half.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Now it wasn't better. I thought you met split No.
- 41:59Speaker 1: One and a half so closer to to like, if
- 42:01Speaker 1: you're going to go based on five stars, she went
- 42:05Speaker 1: pretty good. Okay, so overall, good trip. I'm glad.
- 42:09Speaker 2: I say two and a half.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Oh two and a half thumbs up out of two
- 42:13Speaker 1: all right, but either way, yeah, hopefully you girls enjoyed
- 42:18Speaker 1: the trip. I know I had a good time with
- 42:20Speaker 1: you guys. It's just good to explore and to see
- 42:23Speaker 1: different places and go different places, eat different food, and
- 42:26Speaker 1: like I said, it was, it was a good time
- 42:28Speaker 1: for softball and we're gonna do it again soon. What isla, I.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Feel like the spoons charge off you know where they are,
- 42:37Speaker 2: like you can get them from. I feel like that's
- 42:39Speaker 2: our charging spot.
- 42:41Speaker 1: That probably makes sense. I think you're right. Maybe it's
- 42:43Speaker 1: a wireless charger, but either way, that is a wrap.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Can't thank obviously anybody for hanging out and listening to us,
- 42:50Speaker 1: but more importantly, thank you Aila, Thank you Avery for
- 42:54Speaker 1: chatting on this episode. So that's all we got. We'll
- 42:57Speaker 1: be back next week. Avery Isila, I have to tell
- 43:00Speaker 1: you something super important. Stay out of my fridge.
- 43:05Speaker 2: No, it's my fridge too.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Yeah, just because you have magnets all over it. Interesting.
- 43:13Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back next week. Bye everybody. I'm
- 43:16Speaker 1: gonna say, by Avery, all right, take care everybody.
- 43:21Speaker 2: By jall knocking.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Who's there. It's the podcast Super Toys, Stay out of
- 43:28Speaker 1: My Fridge.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Ready to store.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Gotta Tell the Tale. Gonna make you laugh and make
- 43:33Speaker 1: you smile. So up time you're taling deep into your
- 43:40Speaker 1: fridge with secret
