- 0:00Speaker 1: Weather and Talk Station 570 WKBN. All right. And Ron Verbs.
- 0:05Speaker 1: So it says here that she admitted to her role, obviously,
- 0:11Speaker 1: in killing the children. And if she's found mentally incompetent
- 0:17Speaker 1: at the time of the killings, she would go. If
- 0:21Speaker 1: she is found mentally incompetent at the time of the killings,
- 0:24Speaker 1: she wouldn't go to prison, but could be committed to
- 0:27Speaker 1: a mental health facility. All right, so there you go.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Your thoughts again?
- 0:33Speaker 2: Well, I have so many thoughts. Like, I don't know,
- 0:36Speaker 2: was there family nearby, friends? I mean, there had to
- 0:39Speaker 2: be people that she was telling how she was feeling.
- 0:42Speaker 2: There's just so much more. What kind of medicine she
- 0:45Speaker 2: was on? What were the side effects? Hopefully, hopefully with
- 0:50Speaker 2: this situation, because this is happening so many times, you know,
- 0:53Speaker 2: with different mothers telling their children, okay, they need This
- 0:58Speaker 2: should be the beginning of mental health, really.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Making it better.
- 1:03Speaker 2: There has to be a change in the mental health field.
- 1:05Speaker 2: It's horrible. Look how many homeless people are on the
- 1:08Speaker 2: street because of the drugs and mental health, you know,
- 1:10Speaker 2: things they're going through, but there's no help for them.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but you do have three children that were killed
- 1:18Speaker 1: in a brutal fashion.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I do understand that, and it's horrible.
- 1:22Speaker 4: I feel for her.
- 1:23Speaker 2: She has to live with that the rest of her life.
- 1:25Speaker 2: You know, I mean, I can understand why the jury's
- 1:29Speaker 2: taking so long deliberating, and I'm glad they're thinking everything through.
- 1:33Speaker 2: You know, that's not an easy decision. You know, it's
- 1:37Speaker 2: just that there needs to be changes big time in
- 1:39Speaker 2: the mental health.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Well, okay, so you're saying the system failed her, in
- 1:44Speaker 1: your opinion?
- 1:46Speaker 3: Oh, yes.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. The system, the husband, probably even her family. Someone,
- 1:51Speaker 2: they knew she was saying how she was feeling, and
- 1:54Speaker 2: they were ignoring it.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but do you think, I mean, should she be punished?
- 2:01Speaker 2: Well, I think the doctor should be punished, too. And
- 2:03Speaker 2: the husband should have some kind of something, you know, something.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I don't know. It's just not all her. It was
- 2:09Speaker 2: everybody involved in the situation.
- 2:12Speaker 1: All right. I'll see what people say. Thank you. Appreciate it.
- 2:15Speaker 1: You're on the air.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Ron.
- 2:19Speaker 1: It's the boss lady.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:22Speaker 4: This one is driving me crazy, yeah. Sounds like it's
- 2:24Speaker 4: going to be a hung jury, and you can see why.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Explain. Give us your thought process, because you can be
- 2:32Speaker 1: a very factual, cold, brutal, to-the-point woman.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I very much can be. I don't cut corners, Ron.
- 2:41Speaker 4: I mean, I give read to it. So here's the problem.
- 2:45Speaker 4: In my mind, what is a postpartum woman supposed to do?
- 2:50Speaker 4: What is the steps that society could tell a postpartum
- 2:57Speaker 4: woman to do if they're feeling anxious, insomnia, want to
- 3:02Speaker 4: kill themselves, thinking about killing their children? What are you
- 3:04Speaker 4: supposed to do? As a responsible adult, you're supposed to
- 3:08Speaker 4: pick up the damn phone and call somebody, talk to people,
- 3:13Speaker 4: tell your spouse, tell your mother, tell your friend. She
- 3:16Speaker 4: did it all. She did all of that. She did
- 3:19Speaker 4: it 10 times. She did it many times. She called
- 3:22Speaker 4: the suicide hotline twice. Our medical system has completely failed
- 3:28Speaker 4: this woman. Okay, she begged for help. What else? She
- 3:33Speaker 4: told you what she was going to do. She said it.
- 3:38Speaker 4: And nobody protected her from herself or protected those kids
- 3:43Speaker 4: from her. She told you what she was going to do.
- 3:47Speaker 4: And nobody listened. And now you wanna, what do you
- 3:50Speaker 4: wanna do to her? She's already, she can't even get
- 3:52Speaker 4: out of a wheelchair. Okay. Put her in prison for,
- 3:55Speaker 4: I mean, what are you going to do in prison?
- 3:57Speaker 4: I am all pro death penalty. I'm sorry. I, I
- 4:00Speaker 4: for not this one bothers me. I can, she is
- 4:04Speaker 4: not murder. One is completely insane. Like I don't even
- 4:07Speaker 4: know how anybody could, this jury is going to be
- 4:09Speaker 4: hung and they're going to retry it. There is no
- 4:12Speaker 4: way that they're coming back. In my opinion, this they're
- 4:15Speaker 4: taking long and you probably got some women in there
- 4:17Speaker 4: that have the same opinion as me that are holding
- 4:19Speaker 4: out and will not flip. And cause I wouldn't flip
- 4:22Speaker 4: on this one. And we are culpable. They should have arranged. Listen,
- 4:27Speaker 4: he said what they were gonna do, but they even
- 4:30Speaker 4: turned her away.
- 4:31Speaker 5: She was on so much medication. All these combinations of
- 4:36Speaker 5: medication were crazy. And then she would reduce the medication
- 4:39Speaker 5: to go a little bit better than they'd up something
- 4:42Speaker 5: else and she'd feel insane again. This is why you've
- 4:44Speaker 5: got these highs and lows and she's feeling a little
- 4:47Speaker 5: bit better than she's up for days and she can't sleep.
- 4:51Speaker 4: I mean, This is crazy. And to think that this
- 4:54Speaker 4: woman woke up one day, she was a good mother,
- 4:56Speaker 4: and woke up one day and just all of a
- 5:00Speaker 4: sudden had this careful plan and decided all this. It
- 5:04Speaker 4: was crazy. It was clinically crazy. It's clinically crazy. You
- 5:11Speaker 4: cannot do anything else to this woman that will do
- 5:14Speaker 4: anything worse than the fact that she murdered her own
- 5:16Speaker 4: three kids. I mean, he is culpable. He knew this.
- 5:22Speaker 4: She told him this months prior that she wanted to
- 5:25Speaker 4: hurt herself and hurt the kids. She told her mom.
- 5:30Speaker 4: She told people she was begging for help. What else
- 5:34Speaker 4: is she supposed to do? I want one person to
- 5:35Speaker 4: call in and come. I mean, she just put a
- 5:37Speaker 4: gun in her mouth and blown her brains out? Did
- 5:39Speaker 4: she have done that? I mean, I don't know. What
- 5:42Speaker 4: else is she supposed to do if she's begging for help?
- 5:45Speaker 4: Somebody answer that question. Because if I was her defense attorney,
- 5:47Speaker 4: that's the case. What else did you want her to do?
- 5:52Speaker 1: So you say she reached out and said everybody failed her.
- 5:58Speaker 4: She expressed what her intent was. Yep, she expressed what
- 6:00Speaker 4: her intent was. She told everybody what she was going
- 6:03Speaker 4: to do, and she didn't lie.
- 6:04Speaker 3: She came through.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Let me answer your question after the headlines. about standby.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It's the boss lady cutting right through everything and right
- 6:14Speaker 1: to the points. Back in a minute. The Summit County.
- 6:21Speaker 6: School District could soon find itself under state control.
- 6:24Speaker 7: Warning, it could run out of money by December. Barberton
- 6:28Speaker 7: City Schools is asking the state for fiscal emergency status.
- 6:31Speaker 7: The Northeast Ohio District has already cut 80 jobs and
- 6:35Speaker 7: warns that if voters reject a 1% earned income tax
- 6:38Speaker 7: in November, all high school busing, sports, and arts programs
- 6:42Speaker 7: could be wiped out. A state-appointed board would take over
- 6:45Speaker 7: district finances if the designation is approved.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm Travis Laird.
- 6:49Speaker 6: A court hearing this morning in Cuyahoga County for Bianca
- 6:52Speaker 6: Ellis of Cleveland, who is appealing her life sentence for
- 6:54Speaker 6: the 2024 stabbing death of a three-year-old boy outside of
- 6:58Speaker 6: a suburban Cleveland grocery store. Theft charges have now been
- 7:01Speaker 6: filed against 11 members of the Glenville High School football
- 7:04Speaker 6: team who are accused of shoplifting $ 4, 500 worth of merchandise
- 7:08Speaker 6: from a Columbus-area Dick's Sporting Goods store. I'm Brian Engel.
- 7:12Speaker 7: Listen on the free iHeartRadio app for all your music, news, talk,
- 7:15Speaker 7: and sports radio.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Podcasts, too.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Download the app. Free never sounded so good.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Replace those.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN. All right, getting
- 7:30Speaker 1: back to the boss lady. So, boss lady, where is she?
- 7:40Speaker 1: Wait a second. I don't think that boss lady.
- 7:44Speaker 6: Yep.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I'm there.
- 7:45Speaker 1: All right. So, um, what do you do? I mean,
- 7:50Speaker 1: she admitted she killed the three kids and I heard
- 7:53Speaker 1: everything you said. She said, you're saying she reached out
- 7:56Speaker 1: for help. What should she have done? Should she just
- 7:59Speaker 1: shot herself? Well, if, uh, if the choice was, uh,
- 8:03Speaker 1: you want to commit suicide, then shoot yourself and let
- 8:06Speaker 1: the three children live as brutal as that sounds. They wanted,
- 8:10Speaker 1: they were young wives. I mean, if she's, what possessed her?
- 8:15Speaker 4: I get you. That would have been a better outcome
- 8:16Speaker 4: in my mind, too. But, Matt, remember, she's crazy. She's crazy.
- 8:24Speaker 4: That would have been a better outcome. Mm-hmm. I would
- 8:29Speaker 4: like to know what people, what else they think would
- 8:32Speaker 4: be fitted up. Would be fitted up as married a
- 8:34Speaker 4: better man.
- 8:34Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Is what she said today.
- 8:37Speaker 2: That would have stopped all of it.
- 8:38Speaker 4: Because an intuitive husband would have never, ever, ever. She
- 8:43Speaker 4: was begging for care, and he did not ensure. He
- 8:46Speaker 4: did not stand up, scream, and literally go crazy until
- 8:52Speaker 4: somebody helped his wife. And that's what a husband is
- 8:55Speaker 4: supposed to do. He could have said, she is not
- 8:58Speaker 4: coming home. He is not okay. You are not refusing her.
- 9:02Speaker 4: You are not seeing what I'm seeing. He could have
- 9:04Speaker 4: done that.
- 9:06Speaker 1: So listen to what the boss lady is saying. So
- 9:08Speaker 1: you're saying a loving, caring husband would have said she
- 9:13Speaker 1: needs committed, she needs more care, she's not coming home.
- 9:18Speaker 1: He would have been more actively involved in this situation
- 9:22Speaker 1: and not let her near those children, correct?
- 9:25Speaker 9: Correct.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Not, yep, never. He would have protected his children from
- 9:29Speaker 4: her and her from herself. It all cost, no matter what.
- 9:32Speaker 4: And it's not like they didn't have family, because I
- 9:34Speaker 4: heard somebody say, well, what if he didn't have the money?
- 9:36Speaker 4: He still has to go to work. Well, first of all,
- 9:38Speaker 4: I mean, you could figure that out. But he did
- 9:41Speaker 4: have family. You figure it out. Somebody has to be
- 9:44Speaker 4: with her 24-7. You don't leave the house. You don't
- 9:48Speaker 4: leave her alone. She was going to hurt herself and
- 9:53Speaker 4: kill the kid.
- 9:53Speaker 9: Okay.
- 9:54Speaker 4: I don't understand how much more clear she could have.
- 9:58Speaker 9: Been, Ron.
- 9:58Speaker 4: How much more clear could she have been? have been?
- 10:02Speaker 1: So what do you make of the jury that hasn't
- 10:06Speaker 1: been able to reach a verdict? What's your assessment?
- 10:08Speaker 4: I think they're the same. I think you've got two women, two,
- 10:11Speaker 4: maybe three women in there that are the same as me,
- 10:13Speaker 4: that are screaming the exact same thing. I think they're
- 10:17Speaker 4: saying the exact same thing. It's different if she wasn't
- 10:23Speaker 4: throwing up all these red flags. She wasn't telling people.
- 10:26Speaker 4: She wasn't trying to get help. She was begging for help.
- 10:28Speaker 4: She was journaling. They had her on all these drugs.
- 10:33Speaker 4: She was calling suicide a hotline. This is pathetic if
- 10:36Speaker 4: you think about it.
- 10:38Speaker 1: It's pathetic.
- 10:41Speaker 4: It's really pathetic. First of all, I think that half
- 10:46Speaker 4: these psychiatric doctors are wax themselves. They're nuts.
- 10:50Speaker 9: Okay.
- 10:50Speaker 4: So I'm sorry. They are. So you got to be
- 10:53Speaker 4: nuts to even evaluate this. Anyway, half of them are nuts.
- 10:56Speaker 4: If you look like, I mean, I read about people
- 10:59Speaker 4: that are actually, they, they diagnose other people, but they're
- 11:02Speaker 4: a mess themselves. That's what we have here. Half these
- 11:05Speaker 4: people are nuts. This is, it's not a, um, we, we,
- 11:08Speaker 4: we are still in the, uh, Neanderthals when it comes
- 11:12Speaker 4: to psychiatric medicine, in my opinion. You got this woman
- 11:15Speaker 4: on so many drugs. I mean, how's one interacting with
- 11:19Speaker 4: the other? I mean, she's recording it all. I mean,
- 11:23Speaker 4: she's notating. She's talking about it. She's trying to communicate
- 11:28Speaker 4: and express it as best she can. I don't understand
- 11:32Speaker 4: how this happens like this and everybody wants to hang her.
- 11:36Speaker 1: So what should we do?
- 11:36Speaker 5: You're not going to solve.
- 11:37Speaker 4: The problem because unless you men wake up and realize
- 11:40Speaker 4: this is a bigger problem to solve. Isn't it going
- 11:44Speaker 4: to solve the next woman who does the same thing
- 11:46Speaker 4: and drowns her baby in a bathtub? That isn't going
- 11:48Speaker 4: to fix this.
- 11:50Speaker 1: So what should we do with this one?
- 11:53Speaker 4: This one, I mean, honestly, she needs to pay. She does.
- 11:58Speaker 4: She does. I'm sorry. She took a life. She has to.
- 12:02Speaker 4: But I think other people are culpable as well. I
- 12:05Speaker 4: don't think she belongs in prison. Prison isn't going to
- 12:07Speaker 4: do anything for her. She's in hell right now. She's
- 12:10Speaker 4: in hell already. Put her in a mental institution, lock
- 12:13Speaker 4: the door. I don't know what, I mean, maybe in
- 12:16Speaker 4: 20 years, I don't know. Can they rebalance her?
- 12:18Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 12:20Speaker 4: But prison is not where she belongs. I mean, I
- 12:23Speaker 4: don't even think she's ever going to walk again. I mean,
- 12:25Speaker 4: she's paralyzed. I don't know to get that back.
- 12:28Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 12:29Speaker 4: But, I mean, she's not even walking.
- 12:31Speaker 5: She can't even walk.
- 12:32Speaker 4: She's paralyzed from the waist down from attempting to kill herself.
- 12:39Speaker 4: I'm certain she probably, I don't know if you saw
- 12:42Speaker 4: any bits of it. I tried to go back and
- 12:44Speaker 4: watch bits of it. I was up at 4 o'clock
- 12:45Speaker 4: watching more of it. It's so sickening. It's so sickening.
- 12:49Speaker 1: It says, yes, Claire. Lindsay Clancy is permanently paralyzed from
- 12:53Speaker 1: the waist down following a fall from a second-story window.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Hard to imagine that that would paralyze you.
- 12:59Speaker 4: It really is. It really is.
- 13:01Speaker 1: She suffered a complete transection of her spinal cord at
- 13:05Speaker 1: the T5-T6 vertebrae. She fell about 20 feet to the
- 13:09Speaker 1: ground January 24, 2023, after the death of her three children.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Doctors and medical experts confirm she is paralyzed below her sternum. Here,
- 13:18Speaker 1: I've got a chart here. I'm pointing to the sternum.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I have a boss lady right here. This is the sternum.
- 13:23Speaker 1: And I have a white lab coat on, incidentally, when
- 13:25Speaker 1: I'm in the studio, very much like a physician. Here
- 13:29Speaker 1: would be the sternum. And she's unable to walk or
- 13:31Speaker 1: use the bathroom independently, which is.
- 13:35Speaker 4: I mean, what do you think? I mean, I'd love
- 13:37Speaker 4: to hear what other people want to do with this woman,
- 13:40Speaker 4: but I don't know how putting her in prison saved
- 13:43Speaker 4: the next woman who has begged for help. We need
- 13:46Speaker 4: to hold people accountable in the medical community, these doctors,
- 13:50Speaker 4: these physicians, whatever little chart or checklist they're using to
- 13:53Speaker 4: determine does somebody need to be locked up and put
- 13:56Speaker 4: in a mental institution is obviously broke. Your little fact
- 13:59Speaker 4: checker box, your boxes that you check off, it says, okay,
- 14:02Speaker 4: does he have insomnia, chest, Just be da-da-da, check. Whatever
- 14:06Speaker 4: seat you're using, purple it up and throw it in
- 14:09Speaker 4: the damn garbage can because that's what it's good for.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Because I don't know how many more times we're going
- 14:13Speaker 4: to watch another woman kill her kids.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I tell you this much.
- 14:16Speaker 6: It's happening.
- 14:17Speaker 1: It's not going to stop. Let me tell you something, folks.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Other shows might have Nancy Grace on. She doesn't hold
- 14:23Speaker 1: a candle to what I bring you here. Forget Nancy Grace.
- 14:26Speaker 1: She doesn't hold a candle to what I just brought
- 14:29Speaker 1: you from the analysis of the boss lady. There you go.
- 14:33Speaker 1: That's continuing coverage now. You've got to stay on this
- 14:36Speaker 1: each day. I'm on it.
- 14:38Speaker 4: I'm watching. I got it up while I'm working.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I wonder... I want your analysis. Eat your heart out, Fox,
- 14:46Speaker 1: and all you with Nancy Grace. I got it all
- 14:49Speaker 1: covered here. Much, much better. Thank you. Thank you, boss lady.
- 14:53Speaker 1: All right. News Radio 570 WKBN. You're on the air.
- 14:56Speaker 9: Mr. Berg.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Yes.
- 15:00Speaker 8: How are you?
- 15:01Speaker 1: I am well, sir. Thank you. Thank you.
- 15:05Speaker 10: If she was found insane at the time she did it,
- 15:10Speaker 10: she should... being in prison. But, I mean, I'm sorry,
- 15:17Speaker 10: if she was found insane at the time she did it,
- 15:20Speaker 10: she should be locked up in a mental institution.
- 15:24Speaker 9: Don't you agree?
- 15:27Speaker 1: I go to the thought that obviously you're not in
- 15:30Speaker 1: your right mind when you do something like this. It's
- 15:32Speaker 1: clear to me you're not in your right minds. But
- 15:36Speaker 1: there are three children that died a brutal death as
- 15:39Speaker 1: a result of that. Do I agree? I agree with
- 15:42Speaker 1: the boss lady. I think the system has failed her tremendously.
- 15:46Speaker 1: If it is all true, what she's saying about seeking.
- 15:51Speaker 9: The help that she tried to get.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Without a doubt. So the system failed her. Do I
- 16:00Speaker 1: think she's in a living hell? Yes, I do, because
- 16:02Speaker 1: she's paralyzed from the waist down and needs help going
- 16:05Speaker 1: to the bathroom. However, there's a price to pay for
- 16:09Speaker 1: what you did, and it's going to be... a life
- 16:14Speaker 1: without freedom. I mean, there should be no other, whether
- 16:17Speaker 1: you're in a mental institution until they feel that you've
- 16:22Speaker 1: become better and then you go to prison or something
- 16:25Speaker 1: along those lines.
- 16:26Speaker 10: Oh, she should never see the light of day in
- 16:28Speaker 10: either situation. If she's mentally ill, she should be locked
- 16:33Speaker 10: up and that's the end of it.
- 16:36Speaker 9: There's no getting around that. That's the way it should be.
- 16:41Speaker 3: But that's not.
- 16:42Speaker 9: Why I called.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Why did you call?
- 16:44Speaker 8: Okay.
- 16:46Speaker 1: What do you mean a stupid phone? What's wrong with
- 16:48Speaker 1: the phone?
- 16:49Speaker 9: What's wrong with the phone? Yeah, I'm here.
- 16:54Speaker 1: What was wrong with the phone?
- 16:56Speaker 9: Was the battery going dead?
- 16:58Speaker 3: What?
- 17:05Speaker 9: I didn't get a new battery for this stupid. I
- 17:07Speaker 9: guess I'm so busy over here.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Why don't you, you're, you're on a, what we call
- 17:13Speaker 1: a landline, right? You're on that.
- 17:15Speaker 4: All right.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Well, don't laugh. I, I use it all the time.
- 17:19Speaker 1: We obviously I have one at my house. Why don't
- 17:22Speaker 1: you get a phone that doesn't require a battery? Why
- 17:24Speaker 1: don't you get a, like a regular phone?
- 17:29Speaker 10: Uh, I was thinking about getting rid of the landline altogether.
- 17:33Speaker 1: You know what? I'm going to tell you, I would
- 17:35Speaker 1: never do that. Is your phone line through the cable company?
- 17:38Speaker 8: Yes.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I would never get rid of it. Because if
- 17:42Speaker 1: there's a major... Listen, we have one at our house.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I would never be without a landline. I know most
- 17:48Speaker 1: people might think differently, but cell phone towers can become
- 17:53Speaker 1: overwhelmed very quickly. And when you carry on conversations, it's
- 17:58Speaker 1: best not to be on a cell phone for a
- 18:00Speaker 1: long period of time. It's best to be on a landline.
- 18:02Speaker 9: No, you're absolutely right. Absolutely.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, I would never at our house we
- 18:10Speaker 1: have one. I never want to be without one. It's
- 18:11Speaker 1: obviously through Armstrong.
- 18:13Speaker 4: And.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I got Spectrum. Yeah, I mean, I think it's cost
- 18:18Speaker 1: you a whopping $ 15 a month, but it's well worth it,
- 18:21Speaker 1: in my opinion. But you can get a regular phone,
- 18:26Speaker 1: which means you order it right on Amazon. I just
- 18:29Speaker 1: got some the other day. If you order it right
- 18:31Speaker 1: on Amazon, plug it right in, and you're good to go.
- 18:35Speaker 1: But anyway... But she.
- 18:37Speaker 9: Was spot on. She was spot on. If that woman
- 18:42Speaker 9: was telling her husband, telling her mother, telling the doctors,
- 18:46Speaker 9: and they had no... If my wife said that to
- 18:49Speaker 9: me one time, just once, I would have her... Looked
- 18:55Speaker 9: at by a doctor. I mean, I wouldn't leave her
- 18:57Speaker 9: 24 hours a day. I wouldn't leave my kids around
- 19:00Speaker 9: her 20.
- 19:01Speaker 3: I wouldn't.
- 19:02Speaker 9: I mean, come on.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Well, you know, I mean, like it's similar to like
- 19:05Speaker 1: when you told me you went to the the No
- 19:08Speaker 1: More Kings rally. I wanted to get you. Listen, when
- 19:11Speaker 1: you said you not only went once but twice to
- 19:13Speaker 1: the No Kings rally, I was so concerned. I wanted
- 19:16Speaker 1: to get you psychiatric help immediately. I wanted to send
- 19:20Speaker 1: a boss lady down there, throw a net over you,
- 19:23Speaker 1: put you in a van, and drive you immediately to
- 19:25Speaker 1: a psychiatric institution to have you analyzed.
- 19:28Speaker 9: Well, that would be hard to find because I don't
- 19:31Speaker 9: know where there's one now, probably 100 miles away.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, but I mean, I would find one
- 19:35Speaker 1: for your mental health. I'd say, we just got this guy.
- 19:39Speaker 1: We're doing an intervention with this guy. He was at
- 19:41Speaker 1: the No Kings rally. You know, the boss lady would
- 19:44Speaker 1: be undercover. You know, we would scuttle you into a van.
- 19:47Speaker 1: We would screech the tires. We would drive you to
- 19:49Speaker 1: a mental institution. We would commit you. We would absolutely
- 19:52Speaker 1: commit you.
- 19:53Speaker 9: You'd think you'd turn me around, huh?
- 19:55Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes. Because I feel if I didn't do it,
- 19:59Speaker 1: who would? Maybe your family doesn't realize the help you need.
- 20:03Speaker 1: But I do. I'm like a doctor. Today, because of
- 20:09Speaker 1: this topic, I'm wearing a lab coat right here in
- 20:11Speaker 1: the studio.
- 20:13Speaker 9: Yeah, I heard you said you had your lab coat on.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Yes.
- 20:15Speaker 9: You got your microscope all tuned in there, and you're
- 20:19Speaker 9: ready to roll.
- 20:20Speaker 1: My stethoscope, not my microscope. My stethoscope is hanging around
- 20:24Speaker 1: my neck, and I have pens in my pocket here,
- 20:27Speaker 1: and it's an embroidered medical thing. It doesn't say Ron,
- 20:31Speaker 1: it says Ronald verb. Ronald verb. Yeah, it sounds more medical.
- 20:36Speaker 9: The main reason I called today was in rebuttal to that...
- 20:42Speaker 9: One-eyed Eli that called you yesterday talking about the religion
- 20:50Speaker 9: in the Constitution where he said it wasn't there. I
- 20:56Speaker 9: know you probably don't remember. It was a short conversation
- 20:58Speaker 9: you had with a fellow when you cut him off.
- 21:01Speaker 9: I'm hoping that you did that because you know that
- 21:03Speaker 9: it is in Amendment 1. Congress shall make no law.
- 21:11Speaker 9: respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,
- 21:19Speaker 9: or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press,
- 21:24Speaker 9: or the right of the people peaceably to assemble. See,
- 21:27Speaker 9: even though I go to the King's.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Rally, it's peaceable.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Yeah, that's... The fact that you go to the No
- 21:36Speaker 1: Kings rally is very disturbing to me, and I'm trying
- 21:39Speaker 1: to get your help.
- 21:40Speaker 9: And to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
- 21:45Speaker 8: Now, I don't—a lot of your callers that call me—
- 21:48Speaker 8: But here's one thing. They believe everything, every word that's
- 21:53Speaker 8: in the Bible, if it's of the or what, they
- 21:56Speaker 8: believe it.
- 21:57Speaker 1: But this one, the.
- 22:01Speaker 9: Constitution, they have no trouble stepping all over it.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Well, what the guy said was, that phrase, separation of
- 22:09Speaker 1: church and state, does not appear anywhere in the U.S. Constitution.
- 22:12Speaker 1: That's what he said, and that is true. What he's
- 22:14Speaker 1: saying is absolutely wrong. No, he's not.
- 22:17Speaker 9: He didn't say it right in the Constitution.
- 22:21Speaker 1: No, he said.
- 22:22Speaker 9: The establishment of... I mean, I don't know how much
- 22:25Speaker 9: clearer it could be.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Okay, so, no, what he said was, and I want
- 22:28Speaker 1: to relive this, he said the exact phrase, separation of
- 22:32Speaker 1: church and state, does not appear anywhere in the U.S. Constitution.
- 22:35Speaker 1: That is true.
- 22:35Speaker 3: In those words, no.
- 22:37Speaker 1: That is true. And what it does, it stops the
- 22:40Speaker 1: federal government from setting up a national church or official
- 22:44Speaker 1: state religion.
- 22:45Speaker 9: You know why that was put into the Constitution?
- 22:49Speaker 1: I wasn't there when they wrote it. It prevents the
- 22:51Speaker 1: government from favoring one religion over another or favoring religion
- 22:55Speaker 1: over non-religion. But there is no separation of church and state.
- 23:00Speaker 1: The term you used, the caller was correct in his
- 23:03Speaker 1: criticism of you.
- 23:03Speaker 9: No, the caller's not correct.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Well, no, he said that phrase to say.
- 23:06Speaker 9: On that show, there's no law respecting the establishment of religion.
- 23:09Speaker 9: It was put in there because in England, Henry VIII,
- 23:14Speaker 9: had said that this is going to be the religion.
- 23:18Speaker 9: His religion was the religion.
- 23:20Speaker 1: But you see, he was saying what it says is
- 23:24Speaker 1: it shouldn't pick a particular religion. He says nowhere does
- 23:26Speaker 1: it say there's a separation of church and state, as
- 23:29Speaker 1: you stated. That's all the caller was saying. It does
- 23:32Speaker 1: not say that in the Constitution.
- 23:33Speaker 9: I'm sorry that your callers cannot logically think things out.
- 23:38Speaker 9: It says it right here. No law respecting the establishment of.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Okay, well, technically the guy was correct. The caller was correct.
- 23:48Speaker 9: No, I don't agree.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Well, whether you agree or not, technically he's correct. Nowhere
- 23:54Speaker 1: in the Constitution does that exist.
- 23:55Speaker 9: And it goes on, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.
- 24:00Speaker 9: I don't care what religion you get you. I don't
- 24:03Speaker 9: care which one you claim. But you're not going to
- 24:06Speaker 9: have an establishment of religion in the country. And that's
- 24:12Speaker 9: from Henry VIII days.
- 24:13Speaker 2: It's been in history.
- 24:15Speaker 9: It's from Henry VIII.
- 24:18Speaker 1: The caller was correct on the statement he made. But
- 24:21Speaker 1: I understand you being a Democrat will not admit if
- 24:24Speaker 1: somebody else is correct.
- 24:25Speaker 3: I understand.
- 24:26Speaker 9: I understand.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I mean, yes, you go.
- 24:32Speaker 9: Why do you make things up?
- 24:33Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 24:34Speaker 3: You go to the.
- 24:35Speaker 9: Boss lady that you talk to. I find myself agreeing
- 24:39Speaker 9: with her. And she is as Republican as they come.
- 24:44Speaker 9: Especially with this subject that you're talking about today. If
- 24:47Speaker 9: that woman had gone to all these people and they
- 24:51Speaker 9: didn't do anything, are you kidding me?
- 24:53Speaker 4: Come on.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Well, see, what's that noise in the background? Are you
- 24:58Speaker 1: by a fan or something today?
- 25:00Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, the air conditioning just kicked on.
- 25:03Speaker 1: What do you mean the air conditioning? What, do you
- 25:05Speaker 1: got a window air conditioning? Don't you have central air?
- 25:07Speaker 8: Yes, I do.
- 25:10Speaker 9: I'm right by the furnace over here. I'm in my
- 25:12Speaker 9: beautiful basement.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Well, get away from the furnace. Why are you standing
- 25:16Speaker 1: by the furnace?
- 25:17Speaker 9: Is it that loud? I'm sorry. Yes, it's humming.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I know.
- 25:22Speaker 9: I was talking to my son this morning, and the
- 25:24Speaker 9: wind was blowing. I said, where are you at? And
- 25:27Speaker 9: the wind was just, does it sound any better?
- 25:30Speaker 1: Is your son a Republican or a Democrat?
- 25:35Speaker 9: My son is, I don't think, either. I don't think
- 25:39Speaker 9: he's independent. He might be independent. But he does not
- 25:45Speaker 9: have my philosophy on... He makes up his own mind.
- 25:51Speaker 9: He goes his own way.
- 25:52Speaker 1: And how do you guys get along at the Thanksgiving dinner, then?
- 25:57Speaker 9: Well, I... Believe it or not, I keep my mouth shut.
- 26:02Speaker 9: I like peace and harmony.
- 26:03Speaker 3: You're right.
- 26:03Speaker 1: See, you're smart that... You're absolutely smart that you don't
- 26:09Speaker 1: talk politics. Because, yeah, that makes sense to me.
- 26:13Speaker 8: I mean, you.
- 26:14Speaker 1: He's entitled to his opinion, and you're entitled to your opinion.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 26:17Speaker 9: He's a 51-year-old man now, so he can make up
- 26:22Speaker 9: his own mind.
- 26:23Speaker 1: You seem very, how's this, incidentally, when it's this hot,
- 26:27Speaker 1: they always say check on the elderly. So how are
- 26:29Speaker 1: you feeling? I want to make sure you're okay. I'm
- 26:31Speaker 1: supposed to check on the elderly.
- 26:32Speaker 9: I was out there for two and a half hours
- 26:35Speaker 9: cutting the grass and edging and picking up sticks and
- 26:39Speaker 9: doing my thing out there, and I'm just fine. I
- 26:44Speaker 9: came in about, I don't know, a half hour ago.
- 26:46Speaker 9: I'm going to go take a shower and go have
- 26:48Speaker 9: a nice little whatever dinner, and I'm fine. I am
- 26:52Speaker 9: just fine.
- 26:53Speaker 1: All right, because, you know, it's best for you to
- 26:55Speaker 1: stay in the house the rest of the day because
- 26:57Speaker 1: of your.
- 26:57Speaker 8: I will.
- 26:58Speaker 9: Oh, definitely, I will. What is it, 90 out there?
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yeah, because of your age, you know, I don't want
- 27:02Speaker 1: anything to happen to you.
- 27:03Speaker 9: Oh, no, I appreciate that. I genuinely think that you
- 27:06Speaker 9: care about me.
- 27:07Speaker 1: I genuinely do. Thank you for your call. I appreciate it.
- 27:10Speaker 1: And I'll come back with more right after this, so
- 27:12Speaker 1: stay tuned. sip something. News Radio 570 WKBN. 3.53 in
- 27:24Speaker 1: the afternoon, and you're on the air.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Oh, the poor guy couldn't understand the words altogether. Separation
- 27:32Speaker 3: of church and state is not in there. It's in
- 27:34Speaker 3: a letter from Thomas Jefferson to some jerk at a
- 27:38Speaker 3: church in 1700. It's not in the Constitution. It's not
- 27:42Speaker 3: in the Declaration of Independence. Sorry, but just to clear
- 27:46Speaker 3: that up. And You were reading, I don't know what
- 27:49Speaker 3: you were reading from, but the only disagreement I have
- 27:53Speaker 3: with it is that they said, yeah, she jumped out
- 28:00Speaker 3: the window after the death of her children. No, no, no, no.
- 28:05Speaker 3: She jumped out the window after she murdered her children.
- 28:08Speaker 3: And there's a whole other problem. We're using the word kill. Well,
- 28:13Speaker 3: she killed her kids. No, no, no. People get mistaken
- 28:18Speaker 3: on the Ten Commandments. Thou shalt not kill. It's not
- 28:20Speaker 3: thou shalt not kill. It's thou shalt not murder. Killing
- 28:24Speaker 3: is sometimes necessary. Maybe a police officer. Maybe a military personnel.
- 28:30Speaker 9: Right?
- 28:30Speaker 6: Right.
- 28:31Speaker 3: The just war and all that. Somebody's attacking you. Somebody's
- 28:37Speaker 3: trying to murder your children. You can kill them, but
- 28:40Speaker 3: it's killing versus murder. And I think we lose a
- 28:45Speaker 3: lot when we just run around saying kill all the time.
- 28:48Speaker 3: And whatever you were reading from went even further and
- 28:51Speaker 3: said the death of her children. She caused the death
- 28:54Speaker 3: of her children by strangling them to death. And the
- 28:58Speaker 3: first caller, great point. Hey, you planned this all out
- 29:03Speaker 3: except for the killing of you, right? Because people survive
- 29:07Speaker 3: all the time. I think Ron Burb said he was
- 29:09Speaker 3: surprised that she's all paralyzed up and everything after jumping
- 29:13Speaker 3: out the second story window. Because people survive it all
- 29:16Speaker 3: the time. And, you know, maybe twist an ankle, maybe
- 29:19Speaker 3: break a leg. Yeah, she got the bad thing. And
- 29:23Speaker 3: she deserves everything else.
- 29:25Speaker 1: And I was.
- 29:27Speaker 3: agnostic on the whole thing and trying to avoid it
- 29:29Speaker 3: because I have too many kids and I can't think
- 29:31Speaker 3: of things like that. But when I heard she was
- 29:35Speaker 3: a labor and delivery nurse.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I went.
- 29:40Speaker 3: well, now it's over because she's in the field. And
- 29:43Speaker 3: how long did you, I think you said she worked
- 29:45Speaker 3: for nine years or something. You're in the field every day. You're, you're, you're,
- 29:50Speaker 3: you're not a truck driver. You're not a dumb radio
- 29:53Speaker 3: talk show host. You're, you're, you're, you're labor and delivery nurse.
- 29:59Speaker 3: You know about these things. You really, really know about
- 30:03Speaker 3: these things. And there's some kind of continuing education. There's
- 30:08Speaker 3: some kind of something. And you did this. Was the
- 30:13Speaker 3: boss lady correct that she did most of what she
- 30:17Speaker 3: was supposed to? And the mother, the mother-in-law, the husband
- 30:22Speaker 3: should have done more? The doctor should have done more? Yes,
- 30:25Speaker 3: except for you saying, murdered your children. And there has
- 30:34Speaker 3: to be payback for that. That's what it is at
- 30:37Speaker 3: this point. How did you.
- 30:41Speaker 9: It.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Takes a lot to kill a person. They're pretty resilient,
- 30:49Speaker 3: even children. And you did that but couldn't off yourself.
- 30:55Speaker 3: You didn't have a plan to have a 45 under
- 30:59Speaker 3: the pillow and blow your brains out. That doesn't work
- 31:02Speaker 3: all the time, but drink some bleach first before you
- 31:05Speaker 3: blow your brains out. I don't know what it is,
- 31:09Speaker 3: and I'm glad I'm not on the jury as well,
- 31:13Speaker 3: but something bad has to happen to this lady because
- 31:19Speaker 3: postpartum psychosis or not, you murdered your children. You can't
- 31:27Speaker 3: be free. You can't be walking around society. Maybe we
- 31:31Speaker 3: judge she was insane at the time. Okay, you still
- 31:37Speaker 3: got to go away. That's fine. You can call it
- 31:41Speaker 3: whatever you want. You murdered your children. You didn't get
- 31:45Speaker 3: the help. And I think everybody should be in agreement
- 31:49Speaker 3: with the boss lady and say, yes, the system should
- 31:53Speaker 3: be better because she did these things. Yes, the family
- 31:57Speaker 3: should be better. But really, that was, what, three years ago?
- 32:02Speaker 3: Who doesn't know about this? Who doesn't know that this
- 32:06Speaker 3: goes on? We went through the Susan Smith. We went
- 32:08Speaker 3: through the Andrea Yates. You don't know that this goes on?
- 32:12Speaker 3: I mean, that's kind of sad. And, again, I think
- 32:17Speaker 3: more onus is on her than the husband because she
- 32:21Speaker 3: worked in the field. That's what threw me over the edge. No,
- 32:28Speaker 3: she's got to be locked up.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Well, my emailer says Patrick Clancy is suing several of
- 32:33Speaker 1: Lindsay's health care providers for medical malpractice. He filed a
- 32:37Speaker 1: lawsuit on January 20th, 2026, both personally and as a
- 32:41Speaker 1: representative of the estates of the three children. There you go.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Thank you, Jake. Appreciate it. More to come. News Radio
- 32:49Speaker 1: 570 WKN and Ron Furt from the Kingdom of Mahoning.
