And today I am the host of the podcast and I have sitting next to me my esteemed

Take over. I'm surprised from you a lot today, I think. Yeah. Yeah.

Just go with it. Well, I want to just tell everybody out there a couple of things.

So you haven't heard my voice, my annoying voice in a couple of weeks. And I do want to explain.

And then I just want to tell you a great story. And we're going to end this

Monday podcast real quick. But I did want to tell you the story.

So I want to say for the last three or four weeks, you know,

life is busy, but life is crazy.

Life is discombobulated. But it just seems that over the last three or four
1:26
weeks, it's almost as everything just got supercharged, discombobulated,
1:31
supercharged, crazy, supercharged, busy.

I missed my deadlines for my own podcast about three or four times.

Angel's ready to tape, texting him. I can't tape. I can't tape.

I I'm in a fog. I have no ideas.

I have a writer's block. I can't do it. And I'm just all messed up and everything's all going crazy.

So you know that we work in the

same hospital you know we work in the same organization and one

day you know without me knowing it i'm just

with my head down and just overwhelmed i'm looking down this long corridor this

long hallway and i see this thin fit beautiful young man standing in front of

my office and i say my that looks like angel santana but a fitter thinner thinner,

more beautiful version of the already fit and thin and beautiful man that we know of Angel Santana.

And I say, Angel, what are you doing here? You only have like literally three

minutes to eat lunch and three minutes of a break. You're so busy.

What are you doing up here in radiation oncology? And he said,

come into your office. We have some work to do.

And he took me into my office and he just asked me, E, are you okay? Okay.

Talk to me. Then we spent five minutes just catching up and,
2:50
you know, just telling each other the story of life and, you know.
2:55
Illnesses and sicknesses and craziness and projects and just the vicissitudes of life.

And then he just basically stood over me and he put his hand on my shoulder and he said a prayer.

And the prayer was so powerful and it was so inspiring.

And I I almost felt like all of the demons and all of the spirits,

the bad spirits that have had been basically inhabiting my body just fled.

And from that moment on, my life just has been smooth as silt.

We just finished taping the Thanksgiving podcast, which I hope you guys will listen to.

And Angel said, OK, we're doing Monday's Have Faith podcast.

And I said, Angel, I'm hijacking this ship. I need to tell everyone this story,

and I don't want to embarrass you, Angel, but I want to tell you that not only

do you inspire all of your friends here on Half-Faith, Let It Begin,

but if any one of us, and there's thousands of us,

ever needed you individually like I needed you last week, I know you would be there for us.

And some of us, you could actually put your hand on literally.

And some of us who live in different states or different countries,

I know you could put your hand on our shoulder figuratively or metaphorically.

And I know that when you pray, your prayers have power.

So I wanted to take that moment and take over your podcast to thank you and tell everybody,

you know, that angel is available to you, not just on this podcast to pray for

you, But if you ever reach out to him, I know that he would do the same thing

for you that he did for me. So Angel, I hope you're not too embarrassed.

No, I just didn't know you were going to go there. But, you know,

I'm grateful that you did.

And just to echo a little bit what you went through, you know,

I was going through it, too.

You know, a lot of stuff happening at home, a lot of things happening with Ariel.

And there's no secret. I did an episode already about it. You know,

my daughter was getting bullied and that combined with some sicknesses.

And, you know, even today, as we are recording, my wife is pretty sick.

So, you know, it's life, you know. Now, let me preface by saying this.

One of the biggest things that I've learned this last two weeks,

and especially within the last 48 hours, is that life is unpredictable.

One moment, everything feels familiar and steady. And the next,
5:22
the story shifts in ways that we never expected.
5:26
But here's the beautiful truth. Even in those sudden twists,
5:31
even in the moments that catch us off guard, God is still writing.
5:35
He's still guiding, and he's still holding us steady when the ground feels shaky.
5:40
So today, wherever you are, whatever you're facing, and remember,
5:45
you're not walking alone and that your journey has a purpose.
5:48
Your struggles have meaning, and your story is still unfolding.
5:54
Trust the one who sees the whole picture even when we only see the next step.

E because sometimes what you don't realize is that even though you said you

needed me, I needed you more than you thought.

So for that, we were able to help each other. So it really wasn't a one-sided

thing. It was a team effort when God put us together to do that.

So when I'm down, you pick me up. And when you're down, I pick you up and we picked each other up.

And let's pray. Heavenly Father, we come before you today acknowledging that

life can change in an instant.

Sometimes these changes lift us up and sometimes they leave us uncertain.

Wondering what comes next. That's the key, right?

But in every moment, predictable or not, you remain faithful.

So God, guide us in our steps so that when we cannot see the path,

Calm our hearts when anxiety rises.

Remind us that your plans are greater than our fears and your love is stronger

than any challenge that comes our way.

hope for tomorrow and peace that surpasses all understanding.
