Latest / FPL Pod / S7 Ep40: FPL Pod: Going big in attack with the Wildcard
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: We're all back in the country to continue our wildcard
- 0:03Speaker 1: squad build. We have an in depth discussion on midfielders
- 0:06Speaker 1: and who would go for alongside Salah. The eternal Harland
- 0:09Speaker 1: debate continues and Jewels reveals his wild card is almost active. Hello,
- 0:17Speaker 1: Yron is Thursday. Welcome back to the FPL Pod. Another
- 0:20Speaker 1: podcast for you despite there being no FPL this weekend,
- 0:23Speaker 1: as we continue to look ahead to the season, running
- 0:26Speaker 1: a reminder, as I said, they're no FPL this weekend
- 0:28Speaker 1: because there is the FA Cup. Then we do return.
- 0:31Speaker 1: We're going to return again on Monday, by the way,
- 0:33Speaker 1: because the Premier League returns in midweek. So hello as
- 0:36Speaker 1: always to tuneing on and Sam Bonfield and Sam, we're
- 0:38Speaker 1: all back in the country.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Just about time on this podcast to relate the story
- 0:45Speaker 2: about that I'm here now.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Sam got stranded in the heath Throw mess. I came
- 0:49Speaker 1: through Heathrow last night and discovered I'd left off my
- 0:52Speaker 1: belongings in where i was on holiday. So I'm having
- 0:55Speaker 1: a bit of a disaster this morning.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Jewels, bit of a calmer week for you, Yeah, much
- 0:59Speaker 3: much coy mode. Just the trip to Paris, but that
- 1:01Speaker 3: was easy, you know.
- 1:01Speaker 1: On the trend, so I feel regularly there and back
- 1:04Speaker 1: every week on you pretty much?
- 1:06Speaker 3: Yeah, too much? Right now I'm back and ready for
- 1:10Speaker 3: the weekend.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Do you have a bit of news when it comes
- 1:12Speaker 1: to your FPO team as well, Jeels, a.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Bit of news as in what I'm doing actually with
- 1:17Speaker 3: the team? Yes, yeah, yeah, because on the last show
- 1:20Speaker 3: we talked about when to play your wild card and
- 1:24Speaker 3: what to do with all your chip because there's obviously
- 1:26Speaker 3: not many game weeks left and for some of us
- 1:29Speaker 3: they're still bench boost and the free here and the
- 1:32Speaker 3: wild card and the assistant manager ship all of that.
- 1:35Speaker 3: And then I thought, do we play the World Card
- 1:37Speaker 3: game week thirty? Game week thirty one? And I actually
- 1:40Speaker 3: think that game week thirty is a good time to play,
- 1:43Speaker 3: so we can discuss that a bit later.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Okay, Yes, that's good news because we have been talking
- 1:47Speaker 1: about wild cards a lot. It is an international break,
- 1:49Speaker 1: so it does mean that a lot of people are
- 1:51Speaker 1: very tempted to use that second World Card. It's a
- 1:53Speaker 1: really good time to play it. Of course, there's currently
- 1:55Speaker 1: over one hundred and twenty four thousand of the chips active.
- 1:58Speaker 1: It's seventy eight thousand when we recorded last week, Sam,
- 2:01Speaker 1: is this around the point that you thought it would
- 2:03Speaker 1: have been.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:06Speaker 2: It's weird, isn't it, Because normally in an international break,
- 2:08Speaker 2: particularly this international break, I'd expected that number twee.
- 2:10Speaker 1: A lot higher.
- 2:11Speaker 2: But I think because we're coming out of the international
- 2:13Speaker 2: break and then into the FA Cup, and there's still
- 2:15Speaker 2: so much that can happen between now and the game
- 2:18Speaker 2: week thirty deadline on Tuesday, that I guess maybe some
- 2:22Speaker 2: people are just waiting it out and waiting and see
- 2:23Speaker 2: what happens with the FA Cup, and maybe we might
- 2:26Speaker 2: see by the time we were recording on Monday morning,
- 2:28Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised if that number is quite a
- 2:30Speaker 2: lot higher.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And also, of course it is international break as well,
- 2:33Speaker 1: which means that players have been playing. It's Thursday morning
- 2:35Speaker 1: now at this point, I think all of the games
- 2:37Speaker 1: are over, aren't they. The last games are like the
- 2:38Speaker 1: Wednesday night. I think that's about right, isn't it. Yeah,
- 2:42Speaker 1: So I think there'll probably be a lot of concerns,
- 2:43Speaker 1: a lot of injury concerns, which we'll talk about in
- 2:46Speaker 1: a little bit more detail throughout the podcast when we
- 2:48Speaker 1: do continue on Wildcard Squad. A reminder that if you
- 2:50Speaker 1: didn't listen to the pod last week, it might be
- 2:52Speaker 1: worth listening to it just because we are building our
- 2:55Speaker 1: perfect worldcard squad and we're going through by position. So yeah,
- 2:58Speaker 1: we did the goalkeepers and the defender last week, so
- 3:00Speaker 1: definitely worth listening back to that before we continue with
- 3:03Speaker 1: our world cosset called building Jewels. This is your time
- 3:05Speaker 1: to shine. Whilst myself and Sam have been abroad, you
- 3:08Speaker 1: were embarrassed, but you also watch everything regardless of where
- 3:11Speaker 1: you are. Is there any headlines from the international break
- 3:13Speaker 1: that we need to know?
- 3:14Speaker 3: Yeah, loads loads of things happen, loads of good things
- 3:17Speaker 3: as well for us manager in the game. Let's start
- 3:20Speaker 3: with England obviously, because it was a really good week
- 3:22Speaker 3: for Mais Luis Kelly for example, have you.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Been complimentary about England?
- 3:25Speaker 3: Sorry, that's not what I said. I said it was
- 3:28Speaker 3: good now England exactly. All for Reach Games, who's called
- 3:32Speaker 3: a lovely freaky Not so much for Phil Foden, who
- 3:35Speaker 3: once again had a bit of a an anonymous game.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Earlin Harland scored and Martino Degand who's very good in
- 3:42Speaker 3: the In Norway's win against Israel, we saw good Jeremy
- 3:45Speaker 3: Doku and Kevin Lebrune, especially in the second leg of
- 3:48Speaker 3: Belgium game against Ukraine, and Mosella played twice nineteen minutes,
- 3:53Speaker 3: scored and assisted in one of the games with Dias
- 3:55Speaker 3: Called played twice in ninety twice nineteen minutes with Columbia
- 3:58Speaker 3: as well and also scored in in both games. Alexander
- 4:02Speaker 3: Isstik had got in and assists in against Northern Ireland with
- 4:05Speaker 3: Sweden did really well in that game, even Hoyden scored
- 4:09Speaker 3: and then Trol Christian Ronaldo somehow for Denmark. Kunya and
- 4:14Speaker 3: Andrew Pedro were both started one game each for Brazil.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Didn't go that great but still. And Chris Wood had
- 4:21Speaker 3: a hat trick with New Zealand. New Zealand is already
- 4:23Speaker 3: qualified for the Worker by the way, and then got
- 4:25Speaker 3: yellow cardif because he went in the stand to sign autograph.
- 4:27Speaker 3: That was a little bit a little bit weird. And
- 4:30Speaker 3: I think I will finish with Roald Jimenez, who was
- 4:33Speaker 3: outstanding for Mexico in the Nation's League semi final and final,
- 4:37Speaker 3: scoring against the USA and then against Panama as well
- 4:41Speaker 3: in the finals, So well done to him.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Just on the subject of Chris Wood, there was a
- 4:44Speaker 1: few concerns around him. Sam wasn't there in terms of injury.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it takes a blow to the hip, doesn't he
- 4:50Speaker 2: as he's making a shot. Yeah, we'll have to see.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I think there's quite conflicting information out there about him
- 4:55Speaker 2: at the moment. The positive thing for us is that
- 4:56Speaker 2: obviously not in for his play that we can. So
- 4:59Speaker 2: we should get of an update from Nuno as to
- 5:01Speaker 2: exactly what the deal is with Chris Woods, because for
- 5:04Speaker 2: a lot of managers, myself included, I think all three
- 5:06Speaker 2: of us have got Chris Wood. He's quite an integral
- 5:09Speaker 2: part of our FPL teams and wasn't a player that
- 5:12Speaker 2: I was thinking I was going to have to deal
- 5:13Speaker 2: with after the international break. So it will throw, you know,
- 5:17Speaker 2: throw people's plans out. And it's injuries like that, the
- 5:21Speaker 2: fact that Anthony Robinson withdrew from the US squad having
- 5:24Speaker 2: been fine in the game against burs that we can before,
- 5:27Speaker 2: Anthony Gordon, all these kind of players that people have
- 5:30Speaker 2: in their teams. If you start to see those flags building,
- 5:34Speaker 2: then actually it might be a bit like George was
- 5:36Speaker 2: saying that you start to think about that. Weld can't
- 5:38Speaker 2: know whether it's worth just doing a very quick one
- 5:40Speaker 2: ahead of game week thirty instead of holding it for
- 5:42Speaker 2: thirty one.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Yeah. I did check in the Athletic we're reporting on
- 5:45Speaker 1: WEDNS Tuesday, Wednes. I think it was that he's expected
- 5:48Speaker 1: to be assessed on Thursday, Chris Woods. So keep an
- 5:51Speaker 1: eye out or an ear out for what Nuno Spirito
- 5:53Speaker 1: Santo says. They do face Bright in the FA Cup
- 5:55Speaker 1: this weekend, so maybe they'll opt to rest him and
- 5:58Speaker 1: hopefully we'll be back for the midwek will have to
- 6:00Speaker 1: find out. Okay, then let's go back to our World
- 6:03Speaker 1: Card squad then, and it's time to move on to
- 6:05Speaker 1: the attacking players. This is potentially one of the hardest
- 6:08Speaker 1: parts of the pitch for me. I think in terms
- 6:10Speaker 1: of midfielders, there are twenty nine midfielders that scored over
- 6:13Speaker 1: one hundred points this season. Is Salah still essential? I
- 6:18Speaker 1: can't even believe I'm actually asking this, because I think
- 6:21Speaker 1: I can answer it. He is, Isn't he Jewels?
- 6:24Speaker 3: Yeah? I think it is. I think it would be
- 6:26Speaker 3: mad not to pick him in your team if you're
- 6:28Speaker 3: playing your World Card, if you're whatever you're doing, if
- 6:30Speaker 3: you have him already, don't let him go. If you
- 6:32Speaker 3: don't have him somehow you're probably the only one in
- 6:34Speaker 3: the world. Then find a way of having him also
- 6:38Speaker 3: because I think Liverpool could if they keep that gap
- 6:42Speaker 3: between them and Arsenal, wrap up the title very soon
- 6:45Speaker 3: and after that it's a little bit free flow because
- 6:47Speaker 3: you're already champions. You could easily see them most I
- 6:51Speaker 3: keep scoring and keep keep having ranking points, basically for
- 6:56Speaker 3: rest in the game. So it's been incredible so far
- 6:59Speaker 3: this season. Yes, lately Liverpool maybe haven't been as great
- 7:03Speaker 3: because the lost obviously the League final and in the
- 7:06Speaker 3: Champions League two. But I think even if they're maybe
- 7:09Speaker 3: not at the absolute best like they were previously in
- 7:12Speaker 3: the season's still more Sala It's still the best player
- 7:14Speaker 3: in the league by far, and they are still the
- 7:17Speaker 3: best team in the league too, So yeah, I think
- 7:19Speaker 3: he's a messtume.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Of course, why would people be considering moving salad on?
- 7:25Speaker 1: Do you think there are people that are considering it? Yeah,
- 7:27Speaker 1: I think there are.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I think there's a couple of reasons. I think one
- 7:30Speaker 2: is when your wildcard, you think about the budget as
- 7:33Speaker 2: a whole for the first time maybe all season, or
- 7:36Speaker 2: at least since the first World Cup was played, so
- 7:38Speaker 2: over the course of most of the weeks where you're
- 7:40Speaker 2: making your transfers, you're just looking at what budget do
- 7:42Speaker 2: I have available, what's in my bank, how much can
- 7:44Speaker 2: I get out of the player that I'm thinking about selling,
- 7:46Speaker 2: and how much money for the player I'm thinking about buying.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Whereas when you're wildcarding, I kind of look at it
- 7:51Speaker 2: as well, I will take everyone back out, and then
- 7:53Speaker 2: I've got a pot of money again to spend. Now,
- 7:56Speaker 2: obviously I don't actually take them all out, but I
- 7:58Speaker 2: see the part as a whole, and people will kind
- 8:01Speaker 2: of look at it and go, well, if I've got
- 8:03Speaker 2: you know, if I've been building my team value and
- 8:05Speaker 2: say I've got one hundred and two one hundred and
- 8:07Speaker 2: three hundred and four million to spend on my team,
- 8:10Speaker 2: how much of that is going on premium assets. Now,
- 8:12Speaker 2: over the course of this season, we actually haven't had
- 8:15Speaker 2: that many premium assets where we've really wanted to invest.
- 8:18Speaker 2: It's been Harlan and Salah at the beginning. But then
- 8:21Speaker 2: obviously Harlan hasn't really been setting the world on fire,
- 8:24Speaker 2: and we'll talk about him a lot more later. But
- 8:26Speaker 2: if you do want to go back to a system
- 8:28Speaker 2: where you have Harlan if you want to keep Cole Palmer,
- 8:30Speaker 2: and he's another conversation I'm sure we're going to have
- 8:32Speaker 2: in a minute. If Bacayosaka comes back and suddenly we'll
- 8:35Speaker 2: want him in our teams as well, then you're looking
- 8:38Speaker 2: at upwards of forty million for those players, and if
- 8:42Speaker 2: you're spending that level, that's going to compromise the rest
- 8:44Speaker 2: of your team. So I think people will just assess
- 8:47Speaker 2: all of the premium assets and think about which one
- 8:50Speaker 2: of them is the most important to own. Now, for me,
- 8:53Speaker 2: Salah remains the most important player to have in your
- 8:56Speaker 2: team and I wouldn't even consider not having him. He's
- 8:58Speaker 2: got seventeen double digit halls so far this season. Last season,
- 9:03Speaker 2: no one had more than ten acrourse the whole season.
- 9:05Speaker 2: In the two seasons that were previous, no one had
- 9:07Speaker 2: had more than eleven. So the fact that he's already
- 9:10Speaker 2: on seventeen and we are at game week thirty is madness.
- 9:14Speaker 2: And as Joe said, I think over the next couple
- 9:17Speaker 2: of weeks we'll probably see Liverpool crown champions. And at
- 9:20Speaker 2: that point you just stop playing without any kind of fear,
- 9:23Speaker 2: don't you. And it's like, well, it's done. Now, let's
- 9:25Speaker 2: just do it and have fun. So I can only
- 9:28Speaker 2: see positive things for Salah plus depending on your strategy
- 9:31Speaker 2: for game week thirty four and the blank. We know
- 9:34Speaker 2: that he's guaranteed to have a fixture, so if you're
- 9:36Speaker 2: not planning to use a free hit, then he's a
- 9:38Speaker 2: very important player to have.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I just think you're bonkers if you're selling Salah. That's
- 9:42Speaker 1: my conclusion from even without hearing all of those wonderful
- 9:45Speaker 1: stats that we reel off every week. I just think
- 9:47Speaker 1: it's bonkers. So okay, so it's almost a given, isnt
- 9:50Speaker 1: Let's not discuss Salah anymore. The other premium midfielders are
- 9:54Speaker 1: a bit tougher because I feel like if we were talking, well, obviously,
- 9:56Speaker 1: if we were talking pre Christmas, everyone wanted colpar or
- 9:59Speaker 1: had open Joe's. It feels like it's a different conversation now,
- 10:03Speaker 1: not only given his form, but also of course the
- 10:05Speaker 1: fact that he missed out in the last game where
- 10:07Speaker 1: he's still got a yellow flag above him. Do you
- 10:10Speaker 1: think it's time to sell given the form and the injury.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean the injury is obviously the first thing,
- 10:15Speaker 3: because he might not be in great form. Which she isn't.
- 10:18Speaker 3: I think his last goal is January fourteenth against Bonnemer,
- 10:22Speaker 3: so that's a lot of games, I think almost. I
- 10:25Speaker 3: think it's ten games without anything, not even an assist,
- 10:28Speaker 3: not a goal, just nothing, and he missed penalties, he
- 10:31Speaker 3: missed chances. The confidence is really low, but that you
- 10:34Speaker 3: can turn that around. There are the best players in
- 10:36Speaker 3: the world, so at some point that would stop. The
- 10:38Speaker 3: primary if he's hur and can't play, that's not going
- 10:41Speaker 3: to stop now. So the injury, which I think is
- 10:43Speaker 3: not worried so much because it's hard the international break
- 10:47Speaker 3: almost two weeks. Chelsea are not obviously playing in the
- 10:50Speaker 3: FA Cup, so there's nothing for him this weekend, so
- 10:52Speaker 3: it should be okay really for game with thirty and
- 10:56Speaker 3: the midweek range of fixtures, so then we can talk
- 10:59Speaker 3: about the not just his form, the form of his
- 11:01Speaker 3: own team. Because Chelsea havn't been great, having been good
- 11:04Speaker 3: at all lately. There's probably a cause and consequence between
- 11:07Speaker 3: all of that. Because he hasn't been great, the team
- 11:10Speaker 3: is not playing as well obviously because he was such
- 11:13Speaker 3: a keep out of everything good that team was doing
- 11:15Speaker 3: this season and last season that if they have a
- 11:17Speaker 3: called Palma not in good form, then everybody struggles and
- 11:20Speaker 3: the whole team struggles. I just, I just I'm just
- 11:23Speaker 3: not sure when when it's turning really and he's expensive,
- 11:28Speaker 3: really expensive, and I think right now there's so many
- 11:31Speaker 3: better options than called Palma that I'm not sure if
- 11:34Speaker 3: he should be in your wild card team.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a sell for me, Sam, what do you think?
- 11:39Speaker 2: Well, it's difficult though, I think with Palmer because everything
- 11:42Speaker 2: that you've just said is right. I think it's one
- 11:44Speaker 2: goal in seven in the Premier League, which is you know,
- 11:46Speaker 2: bad enough. But then, as Joe said, when you add
- 11:48Speaker 2: in the European matches and all of that, that that
- 11:50Speaker 2: number goes up without without extra goals and extra points.
- 11:53Speaker 2: So it's a difficult one. The problem I have is
- 11:57Speaker 2: that I know he's one of those players if you
- 12:01Speaker 2: take him out and you then don't have the budget
- 12:04Speaker 2: left because you've spent it elsewhere, and then he starts
- 12:06Speaker 2: performing well, which Chelsea are going to need to towards
- 12:09Speaker 2: the back end of this season if they want to
- 12:11Speaker 2: qualify for European football again in terms of the Champions
- 12:14Speaker 2: League and all of that. Jazz, So I think he's
- 12:17Speaker 2: a difficult sale, particularly if he is fit for the
- 12:20Speaker 2: Spurs game, because he has a really good record against Buts.
- 12:22Speaker 2: It's three goals and an assists in three appearances in
- 12:25Speaker 2: the Premier League against US like it would not surprise
- 12:27Speaker 2: me to see him find form quickly after the international break.
- 12:30Speaker 2: He's been out in Dubai, I think, and had a
- 12:32Speaker 2: backscaan which was clear.
- 12:33Speaker 3: So.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I would struggle. And this is part of the reason
- 12:38Speaker 2: I don't want a worldcard right now, because we are
- 12:40Speaker 2: unlikely to know too much information about col Palmer ahead
- 12:43Speaker 2: of the deadline because that's Chelsea and Spurs game is
- 12:45Speaker 2: on the Thursday night and so we may not have
- 12:48Speaker 2: firm word on Palmer ahead of that deadline on the
- 12:52Speaker 2: Tuesday evening, which would make him for me a difficult cell.
- 12:57Speaker 2: But then it's frustrating if you get to the game
- 13:00Speaker 2: starting because you kept all that money sitting then on
- 13:02Speaker 2: the bench effectively and you haven't used it. So I
- 13:05Speaker 2: think if I was weld cutting, I would still have him,
- 13:08Speaker 2: but I would also have him there partially as a
- 13:11Speaker 2: placeholder for Bakayosaka when he returns from injury.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess you do have to think about how
- 13:17Speaker 1: to get him back, but I feel like I've been
- 13:19Speaker 1: holding him since that cold mid January in the hope
- 13:22Speaker 1: that he scores another. It's so much money. I think
- 13:24Speaker 1: SACA is a really interesting point amongst all those jewels,
- 13:27Speaker 1: because we're going to want him back quite soon, aren't
- 13:29Speaker 1: We had a thought?
- 13:30Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, and I think it could be back for
- 13:33Speaker 3: the game against Fulham at the m Reates on Tuesday night.
- 13:36Speaker 3: I think he's not far from being ready really to
- 13:39Speaker 3: do that. Then there's the Everton game, and then there's
- 13:42Speaker 3: the Champions League obviously, which is massive against Real Madrid
- 13:45Speaker 3: first at home and then back to back week again
- 13:47Speaker 3: in the Champions League, the return, the return lad then
- 13:49Speaker 3: in Madrid. So the thing with Sakka is that I
- 13:53Speaker 3: don't expect him to start if he's in the squad
- 13:55Speaker 3: against Fulham, more to get thirteen minutes, because he's been
- 13:58Speaker 3: up for so long that you don't just throw it,
- 14:02Speaker 3: throw him at the deep end straight away and then
- 14:04Speaker 3: expect him to start and do well. So you could
- 14:07Speaker 3: expect him gradually. I think a bit of time made
- 14:09Speaker 3: against Fulham, maybe a bit more against Everton. I think
- 14:12Speaker 3: the idea is to get him ready for that Real
- 14:13Speaker 3: Madrid first like really, so there's a bit of time
- 14:16Speaker 3: before that, but he should be back really in you know,
- 14:20Speaker 3: in April, and and then how long do you wait
- 14:25Speaker 3: to bring him back into your team because again it's
- 14:26Speaker 3: a big but it's a lot of money of course
- 14:28Speaker 3: for Bosaka and he might need one, two, three, maybe
- 14:31Speaker 3: four promen edge matches to really get going again and
- 14:35Speaker 3: get him close to his best each time. But if
- 14:37Speaker 3: you bring him to your team and there's blends for
- 14:39Speaker 3: three weeks in a row, four weeks at this stage
- 14:41Speaker 3: of the season, with all the other midfielder's options that
- 14:44Speaker 3: you have, it's a waste. You can't really do that.
- 14:47Speaker 3: So you have to bring in Socca when you think
- 14:49Speaker 3: it's going to hit form and return for you, because
- 14:52Speaker 3: otherwise it's a massive waste of money. I mean, I
- 14:54Speaker 3: we love him, but it's the truth, right, you can't
- 14:56Speaker 3: have him in your team if he's not returning and performing.
- 14:59Speaker 3: How long will he he needs to be back to
- 15:01Speaker 3: something close to his best or able to return in
- 15:05Speaker 3: the game for us, that's the big question.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Okay, so maybe hold fire and don't go too early
- 15:10Speaker 1: on Sacker, but just watch, watch and see him as
- 15:12Speaker 1: he builds up his minutes sounds like the message from Jewels.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Bruno Fanlle is an interesting one, Sam, because a lot
- 15:18Speaker 1: of people brought him in four Cole Palmer congratulations if
- 15:21Speaker 1: you did do that last week, because it certainly benefited,
- 15:23Speaker 1: didn't it. Lots of people wanted Bruno fans and Manchester
- 15:26Speaker 1: United players, as we saw Jews scored big on those
- 15:29Speaker 1: last game week as well, but they are third bottom
- 15:32Speaker 1: on the FDR. For me, though, Bruno seems the one
- 15:36Speaker 1: man United player that could maybe still weren't a place
- 15:39Speaker 1: in your team despite those fixtures.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I agree with that. I think you
- 15:42Speaker 2: know the way that he's playing. He's so integral to
- 15:45Speaker 2: everything that they do and obviously has penalties. And that's
- 15:47Speaker 2: another thing, isn't it. When you're when you're looking at
- 15:49Speaker 2: a World card squad, I like to build as many
- 15:52Speaker 2: players as possible with additional routes to points. So they
- 15:54Speaker 2: take free kicks, they take penalties, they take corners. That's
- 15:57Speaker 2: perfect because it ideally puts them in a where they
- 16:01Speaker 2: can really overachieve in terms of the game. And Bruno
- 16:03Speaker 2: Fernandez obviously fits that bill nicely. But when you look
- 16:07Speaker 2: at the fixtures in the next just in the next
- 16:09Speaker 2: three weeks. It's not in forest, Man City and Newcastle
- 16:11Speaker 2: like those are not easy fixtures. That's a really difficult
- 16:14Speaker 2: run that they've got, including the Manchester Derby, and then
- 16:17Speaker 2: after that the fixtures that follow are they're a little
- 16:21Speaker 2: bit more mixed. I think it's alves Born with Brentford,
- 16:23Speaker 2: West Ham, Chelsea and Villa to end the season. So
- 16:27Speaker 2: I wouldn't go elsewhere in Manjester United, I think if
- 16:29Speaker 2: you've got a Mans United defender, if you're invested in Onano,
- 16:32Speaker 2: if you've got what of Xerxy or hoiling up top,
- 16:34Speaker 2: I wouldn't want to keep them. But Bruno, I think
- 16:37Speaker 2: is a more interesting pick and potentially is one that
- 16:41Speaker 2: you could hold because there's a number of players in
- 16:43Speaker 2: that kind of eight today and a half bracket who
- 16:46Speaker 2: have got much nicer fixtures than he has. But equally
- 16:49Speaker 2: he's the one that's in better form than a lot
- 16:52Speaker 2: of them. So the potential there is to keep and
- 16:55Speaker 2: then obviously just use that money to switch across to
- 16:57Speaker 2: a different eight million midfielder a couple of weeks down
- 17:00Speaker 2: the line. If the kind of gamble on Bruno hasn't
- 17:03Speaker 2: paid off, are you going to keep it.
- 17:04Speaker 1: On your work cardholes.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so. I think so. And also because United,
- 17:09Speaker 3: I think I've improved a bit. To be fair to them,
- 17:12Speaker 3: I mean we've been critical enough of how bad they've
- 17:14Speaker 3: been this season to say when they improve their improving.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Also they've done well in twenty twenty five against big teams.
- 17:22Speaker 3: You know, there's the draw against Liverpool, there's the there's
- 17:25Speaker 3: what happening in against us in the league and in
- 17:28Speaker 3: the FA Cup two there's the winner against City. Okay,
- 17:30Speaker 3: sometimes it was a little bit like far fetch might
- 17:34Speaker 3: not be the row, but a bit late and not
- 17:35Speaker 3: always perfect. But still the results have been there, so yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 3: you can look at it and Sam is right. It's
- 17:41Speaker 3: a tough schedule, certainly the first three game weeks, but
- 17:44Speaker 3: then you think, yeah, but they're also capable because you
- 17:47Speaker 3: don't really know what to expect from them, they are
- 17:48Speaker 3: capable of really good things and then being very very
- 17:51Speaker 3: average too, So for that you keep him. And to
- 17:53Speaker 3: be fair, he's eight point five million, Coo Palmer is
- 17:56Speaker 3: at ten point eight, so that's two point three in difference.
- 17:59Speaker 3: So if you play well, you can even have Bruno
- 18:01Speaker 3: and if cor Palmer starts playing well again and scrowing again,
- 18:04Speaker 3: and you find that extra two point something million, then
- 18:07Speaker 3: you might be able just to swap Bruno for cor
- 18:09Speaker 3: Palma or even Saka at some point if Ssaka is
- 18:12Speaker 3: firing towards the end of the season. I know there's
- 18:15Speaker 3: still a bit of a gap between their prices, but
- 18:17Speaker 3: it's still two point three million. You can find it, really,
- 18:22Speaker 3: so that's also a way of seeing it.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Maybe, Yeah, it sounds like something there's gonna be quite
- 18:26Speaker 1: a lot of differences in people's teams aside from Salah
- 18:28Speaker 1: because there's no kind of shoeings as there were with
- 18:31Speaker 1: Palmer and even Soaker when he was fit. What about
- 18:34Speaker 1: the Manchester City midfielders, Sam, because we know that when
- 18:38Speaker 1: I mean Geors already mentioned Phil Foden's forms, Perhaps we
- 18:41Speaker 1: don't need to go into that. And Kevin de Bruna
- 18:43Speaker 1: we know when they're fit. Normally we'd want a way
- 18:44Speaker 1: into that Manchester City attack, especially when they've got the
- 18:47Speaker 1: fixtures they have coming. But have you have you seen
- 18:49Speaker 1: enough to warrant any inclusion?
- 18:52Speaker 2: Not with the midfielders for me, and that's such a
- 18:55Speaker 2: weird thing to say, because normally I'd look at a
- 18:58Speaker 2: fixture run like man City of god So Leicester United, Palace,
- 19:01Speaker 2: Everton Villa Wolf, Southampton Borne with Fulham to end the season.
- 19:04Speaker 2: That's just mad right, So normally I'd look at those
- 19:07Speaker 2: fixtures and go, right, how am I traveling up on
- 19:10Speaker 2: Manchester City? Obviously I'm going to have Harlan Maybe I
- 19:13Speaker 2: should have a Vardial and obviously he picked up some
- 19:16Speaker 2: kind of knock over the international bak as well, so
- 19:17Speaker 2: that's on to monitor as well. And then i'd want
- 19:20Speaker 2: a midfielder as well, one perposition. But I'd look at
- 19:22Speaker 2: it and I go I don't think that the likes
- 19:25Speaker 2: of KDB and Phil Fodener are at the moment worth
- 19:28Speaker 2: the level of money that you have to spend on them.
- 19:30Speaker 2: I'd rather stick with Palmer than have one of those two.
- 19:33Speaker 2: So if that's the case, is there somebody in the
- 19:36Speaker 2: cheaper bracket now, Doc who's been interesting at points this season?
- 19:39Speaker 2: You've got a number of cheaper midfielders that you could
- 19:41Speaker 2: go to. But for me, and this is a conversation
- 19:44Speaker 2: for when we get to the forwards. If I was
- 19:46Speaker 2: going to double up on the City attack, it would
- 19:49Speaker 2: be with the two forwards, because I think my mos
- 19:51Speaker 2: offers better value than all of the Manchester City midfielders
- 19:56Speaker 2: do right now. So I'd rule out having a Manchester
- 19:59Speaker 2: City defender on that basis.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Yeah, what did you say, defend us that?
- 20:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so normally i'd go for a defender of midfielder
- 20:06Speaker 2: and a forward. But at this point I don't think
- 20:09Speaker 2: you want to go for a defender because they haven't
- 20:10Speaker 2: been keeping clean sheets. There's been like goals letting here
- 20:13Speaker 2: and there. But so I wouldn't want And then I'd
- 20:16Speaker 2: look at the midfielders and go, well, in reality there
- 20:18Speaker 2: some of them are too expensive. So I think i'd
- 20:20Speaker 2: rather have my motion if you can afford it, my
- 20:23Speaker 2: moos and Harlan up top for that run. Then I
- 20:25Speaker 2: would have, say Harlan and a midfielder or even my
- 20:27Speaker 2: motion at midfielder.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Such a weird situation to be in, isn't it Like
- 20:31Speaker 1: scrambling around trying to find a man City player and
- 20:33Speaker 1: they've got these these fixtures. It is mad. Do you
- 20:36Speaker 1: agree on City Jews?
- 20:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it would be wise to have a
- 20:40Speaker 3: City player, but find the right one. So whether that's
- 20:43Speaker 3: Harland and we've got the money for it, whether that's
- 20:45Speaker 3: mar Mush, I think one is probably you can try
- 20:48Speaker 3: to have two, but I think at least one document
- 20:51Speaker 3: Savin you are six point two million, so in your
- 20:53Speaker 3: in those midfield slot. We talked about the price of
- 20:55Speaker 3: Palmer a ten million, ten point five million or ten
- 20:58Speaker 3: point three eight even Bruno at eight five six point
- 21:02Speaker 3: two for a Docuo Savino. The problem is they are,
- 21:05Speaker 3: as we've seen all season long, capable on their day
- 21:09Speaker 3: to be really good and also have no end product,
- 21:11Speaker 3: and you feel frustrated and you're watching the game and
- 21:13Speaker 3: things like why did it, why is it even in
- 21:15Speaker 3: my team? Why is he doing? Why did they not
- 21:17Speaker 3: in the seas or a goal there? For me, it's you,
- 21:21Speaker 3: so you can go for Vardio. But defensively, we've said
- 21:24Speaker 3: they haven't been able to keep clean sheets enough in
- 21:27Speaker 3: the season to really to justify almost the price of Vargio. Yeah,
- 21:32Speaker 3: going forward is great. Is the defender with the most
- 21:34Speaker 3: gold this season in the league. I get that, but
- 21:36Speaker 3: it's still expensive. So it's either Halen Marmous Docu Savino
- 21:40Speaker 3: for me, the others for then KDB, Bernardo Silva, whoever
- 21:44Speaker 3: you want, Nico another defender, the goalkeeper, whether they sort
- 21:47Speaker 3: of take out Edison doesn't make much sense really, So yeah,
- 21:52Speaker 3: it's one for me. It's one of those four.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Okay, So it feels like we're discussing a lot of midfielders,
- 21:56Speaker 1: but we're not really settling on it. Basically, we're just
- 21:58Speaker 1: telling you which one is probably not to go for
- 22:01Speaker 1: at the moment. There's a yes for Salah, maybe for Bruno.
- 22:05Speaker 1: If you can find one that you think is good,
- 22:07Speaker 1: go for City, but probably don't. Saca maybe go for eventually,
- 22:10Speaker 1: Palma maybe keep it, maybe don't. So yeah, we've got
- 22:13Speaker 1: one midfielder as it stands, Sam throw some other names
- 22:16Speaker 1: in Palace.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Did you see him with Columbia. No, I'm glad you
- 22:23Speaker 3: didn't see him because you would have to stopped loving
- 22:25Speaker 3: him so much.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, but we can't talk about him today. I'm
- 22:29Speaker 2: banned from talking about him because we're on too the midfielders.
- 22:31Speaker 2: But genuinely, and this isn't my my weird Crystal Palace
- 22:35Speaker 2: loving coming back again, but I genuinely do think that
- 22:37Speaker 2: Crystal Palace, given the fact that they've got a double
- 22:40Speaker 2: game week as well in game week thirty two, so
- 22:42Speaker 2: they are a team that you would want to highly
- 22:44Speaker 2: invest in. Plus they've got Southampton coming up in midweek
- 22:46Speaker 2: and then the game against Brighton, like it's a all right,
- 22:50Speaker 2: the double's not great. It's Man City and Newcastle, but
- 22:53Speaker 2: I genuinely do think that you want both now. Annoyingly,
- 22:56Speaker 2: Kells over the last couple of weeks is Lasa has
- 22:59Speaker 2: massively told us both from when we owned him and
- 23:01Speaker 2: he did absolutely nothing. Now he's decided to be peak
- 23:05Speaker 2: everything that you would want in a midfielder in FPR,
- 23:07Speaker 2: which is incredibly frustrating. The conversation between Sara and z
- 23:11Speaker 2: though is difficult. Like I've spent a lot of time
- 23:14Speaker 2: backwards and forwards this week because I'm probably going to invest.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I might even travel up on Palace this week to
- 23:19Speaker 2: be honest, but ideally having at least at least one
- 23:24Speaker 2: of these two I think is important. Sarbet's on almost
- 23:28Speaker 2: every metric in terms of underlying stats except for total
- 23:31Speaker 2: efforts and assists everything else. Starwin's on. He's got more goals,
- 23:37Speaker 2: have more shots inside the box, He's got the higher XG,
- 23:39Speaker 2: he's got the higher XGI. Like everything is looking good.
- 23:42Speaker 2: And since game week ten of the cheap midfielders, he's
- 23:45Speaker 2: seventh for big chances created. Sorry for big chances with sixteen.
- 23:50Speaker 2: That is more than the likes of Parma. It's more
- 23:53Speaker 2: than the likes of Brian and Bonmo. It's more than
- 23:55Speaker 2: the likes of Chris Wood, who everybody is like waxing
- 23:58Speaker 2: libercal about how brilliant he's been this season. And then
- 24:00Speaker 2: his twenty four shots in that period is also more
- 24:02Speaker 2: than Mateta has had, which you know, we all know
- 24:05Speaker 2: how much I love Mateta, But so I think and
- 24:11Speaker 2: ismailasa one of them, definitely potentially both of them.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Joe's which way do you ling? I'm just I just
- 24:19Speaker 1: can't believe you didn't be tempted to go back to
- 24:21Speaker 1: Sara after he trolled us. It's a person, Yeah, although
- 24:24Speaker 1: I do love him for his spot for connections.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Yeah, of course, go on, Jeels. I mean, Sarah had
- 24:31Speaker 3: those two brilliant returns learning in the game eleven points
- 24:34Speaker 3: and fifteen points. Of his last three years. For despite
- 24:37Speaker 3: a really good January, it's been a bit more difficult
- 24:40Speaker 3: in terms of returns. I mean, because like Sam said,
- 24:42Speaker 3: I think Dream Games what he's produced hasn't been too bad.
- 24:47Speaker 3: But then he hasn't been reflected then in the game
- 24:51Speaker 3: for us, So there's there's there's no point it can
- 24:53Speaker 3: be the greatest player of all time if there's no
- 24:55Speaker 3: assist on your goals for us, it's like it's like
- 24:58Speaker 3: if it was me playing basically so and you don't
- 25:00Speaker 3: want me in your team, well you can. I think
- 25:02Speaker 3: you should. I'm a bit I should be with Daniel. Sorry,
- 25:05Speaker 3: so I don't know, I'm not. I'm not sure I
- 25:09Speaker 3: can be very macurial as you've experienced yourself, right, because
- 25:12Speaker 3: we have high expectations. And then but I think I
- 25:15Speaker 3: think Parlas a good team to invest in, really, And
- 25:19Speaker 3: I think whether you go for Mateta doubling up, I'm
- 25:21Speaker 3: not sure traveling up only some Bonfield really can do
- 25:24Speaker 3: that can put this one out. But at least one
- 25:27Speaker 3: of Mateta yet who knows, as we know, and maybe
- 25:31Speaker 3: Henderson I don't know, Gay somebody like that if you
- 25:34Speaker 3: want to. But yeah, yeah, I know. I think I
- 25:36Speaker 3: think it's a good team to invest in.
- 25:37Speaker 1: What about Bournemouth. The eternal conundrum which Bournemouth midfield is
- 25:41Speaker 1: to go for some people, some idiots like me, have
- 25:44Speaker 1: had various double ups points and it's not works out.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I wish I'd just stuck with Cliver. I've tried Cliver
- 25:49Speaker 1: and Dango together that didn't work. Got rid of Dango.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I've tried Cliver and Semno, it's only been going for
- 25:54Speaker 1: one week, but I'm already kind of regretting it. But
- 25:58Speaker 1: where do you rest on the Bournemouth debate, Joels? Firstly,
- 26:02Speaker 1: you would you have one? Would you have to it?
- 26:04Speaker 1: Switched west Ham, Fulham Crystal Palace? Next four?
- 26:08Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 26:08Speaker 3: Really good. Fictually I would go for Justin Clover. He
- 26:11Speaker 3: started both games with the Netherlands in the international break
- 26:14Speaker 3: against Spending in the nation's league, not not just your
- 26:17Speaker 3: like you know, qualifiers like England or your friendlies, and
- 26:22Speaker 3: he did well. He had an assist in the first leg.
- 26:24Speaker 3: I thought he did well in the second leg too,
- 26:26Speaker 3: in very open games where his qualities are there to shine,
- 26:30Speaker 3: because that's why he plays the best. So I even
- 26:34Speaker 3: think for somebody like him who maybe we didn't expect
- 26:37Speaker 3: to start for a team like the Netherlands, really it
- 26:40Speaker 3: must be a massive boost. You can just imagine, we
- 26:42Speaker 3: say often on the show after the international break. But
- 26:45Speaker 3: for players like him, same with Maswi Skelly that we mentioned.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Imagine you played for your national team. Sometimes it's your debut.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Sometimes you don't expect to start in a team loses
- 26:54Speaker 3: with talent and then you do. The boost that you
- 26:56Speaker 3: must have then coming back for your club is massive.
- 26:59Speaker 3: So I think is in. I know before that he
- 27:02Speaker 3: had an assistant of good, but he was You said it, Kelly,
- 27:05Speaker 3: every time you were watching you were frustrated because you
- 27:08Speaker 3: wonder how much you don't get more in Premier League
- 27:10Speaker 3: matches for you. I still think he's really good at
- 27:13Speaker 3: the moment, so I go for Clover Sam.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I just agree with what George just said. I
- 27:18Speaker 2: think Cliver is the best option. He is a player
- 27:21Speaker 2: that I don't have and alongside would you bring hid?
- 27:26Speaker 1: Would you bring him in?
- 27:27Speaker 3: I would?
- 27:27Speaker 2: I will, Yeah, I'll bring it. I would if I
- 27:30Speaker 2: was wild carding, I bring him in. I might even
- 27:31Speaker 2: transfer him in this week, like I think he's that
- 27:34Speaker 2: important over the next few weeks. Genuinely watching him, particularly
- 27:37Speaker 2: in that game against Spurs a couple of weeks back,
- 27:40Speaker 2: I honestly couldn't tell you how how he's just got
- 27:43Speaker 2: what he got and how he didn't get an absolute
- 27:45Speaker 2: monster haole. And I know if you look at the stats,
- 27:48Speaker 2: you know of his twelve goal six of them are penalties.
- 27:50Speaker 2: But that's why we are in penalty takers, right. We
- 27:52Speaker 2: bring them in for that very reason because they have
- 27:55Speaker 2: that additional route to points. And you know, last season
- 27:58Speaker 2: we will have Palmer in that kind of cheap price
- 28:00Speaker 2: point because it was on penalties he was regularly returning.
- 28:02Speaker 2: I feel like Cliver is the similar person in our
- 28:05Speaker 2: team for this season, like he's the cheap asset that's
- 28:08Speaker 2: on penalties that's regularly returning playing in a borneous side.
- 28:11Speaker 2: There are doing really nice things and playing really good football.
- 28:13Speaker 2: So for me, Cliver would be a no brainer on
- 28:17Speaker 2: a wildcard, he'd be a tick in the box.
- 28:20Speaker 1: More difficult question when it comes to Brentford.
- 28:22Speaker 3: So definitely.
- 28:24Speaker 2: And I think it's hard, isn't it, because when you
- 28:27Speaker 2: look at the next three weeks, it's Newcastle, Chelsea Arsenal
- 28:30Speaker 2: and then it eases up slightly but not really because
- 28:32Speaker 2: it's Brighton Forest, Manchester United before it's which Film and
- 28:35Speaker 2: Wolves to end the season. I don't really know what
- 28:38Speaker 2: to do with him, Like he sits in that mid
- 28:40Speaker 2: price point where I have high expectations of the players
- 28:44Speaker 2: that sit there because I'm spending a lot of money
- 28:45Speaker 2: on them, so I want them to be returning every
- 28:48Speaker 2: single week. Now, obviously that's not realistic to expect them
- 28:50Speaker 2: to get a goal every week, but that's kind of
- 28:52Speaker 2: my mindset when I'm spending that level of money. If
- 28:54Speaker 2: I'm spending seven or six on a player, I'm sort
- 28:57Speaker 2: of happy for it to be a return every other week.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Like I'm not.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I don't have the same level of expectation on them,
- 29:02Speaker 2: whereas with him, I do, and I think you know,
- 29:04Speaker 2: earlier on in the season he was regularly returning and
- 29:07Speaker 2: again need penalties and all of that stuff. But at
- 29:10Speaker 2: that price point, with the fixtures the way that they are,
- 29:13Speaker 2: they're right down there on the FDR with Manchester United
- 29:17Speaker 2: right at the bottom, just Everton and Fulham with the
- 29:19Speaker 2: worst set of fixtures to end the season. I'm really
- 29:22Speaker 2: on the fence with him. I'm going to hold him
- 29:24Speaker 2: for now because I'm not world carding, but I think
- 29:27Speaker 2: when our world card I'll end up losing him.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Scared. I mean, I don't have him, but that was
- 29:32Speaker 1: one of my regrets earlier in the season. It feels
- 29:34Speaker 1: like we all saw the pictures turn we all sold him.
- 29:37Speaker 1: But I am inclined to agree with Sammy Eugels.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I just and again, Branford can be anybody
- 29:46Speaker 3: really in the Premier League, in any league, you can
- 29:47Speaker 3: have great games and be even top teams. That fixture
- 29:51Speaker 3: list really scares me for them, So I would not
- 29:53Speaker 3: invite in Brentford.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Okay, any other names that we need to throw in,
- 29:56Speaker 1: because I think we've just about seldom too. Maybe three? Yeah,
- 30:00Speaker 1: well there's two that we kind of agree on. I
- 30:02Speaker 1: think in terms of Salah and Cliver. Sam's going to
- 30:05Speaker 1: throw in I think Sara, I would give you I've
- 30:10Speaker 1: predicted okay, but let me right, let me firstally predict
- 30:14Speaker 1: Sam's because she's thrown me a little bit. Sam's gone
- 30:18Speaker 1: Salah Sar. Yeah, have I just forgotten? I've just like
- 30:23Speaker 1: I said, who are you rather to Rogers? We haven't
- 30:27Speaker 1: discussed him yet. I'd have Parmah. She said she used
- 30:30Speaker 1: to have Parma. Controversial decision. I think that big decision.
- 30:34Speaker 1: I understand it now.
- 30:36Speaker 2: The fifth one for me is interesting because I don't
- 30:38Speaker 2: want to free hit in game week thirty four. For me,
- 30:41Speaker 2: come into your thinking with this, that is really important.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I want to hold the chip because I didn't really
- 30:47Speaker 2: want to free hit thirty eight. Like that's now my thing,
- 30:50Speaker 2: and so because of that, that basically means at the
- 30:53Speaker 2: moment it's really difficult to pick that fifth spot because
- 30:57Speaker 2: it would be another Liverpool, which you know, we could
- 31:01Speaker 2: we could go back there, we could go back for
- 31:02Speaker 2: a Lewis Diastole or a Dotter, or it's still another
- 31:06Speaker 2: Chelsea I think just Palmers enough, or it's Spurs. Let's
- 31:09Speaker 2: move on quickly. So at the moment it's a struggle.
- 31:12Speaker 2: But after the weekend we'll have a much better insight
- 31:15Speaker 2: as to which other teams and which other matches are
- 31:17Speaker 2: going to feature in game week thirty four, and at
- 31:19Speaker 2: that point I'll then be able to make a firm decision.
- 31:21Speaker 2: If Crystal Palace ends up having a fixture in thirty four,
- 31:25Speaker 2: then I'll does an.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Song Palace double up. This loving is getting ridiculous. Yeah,
- 31:31Speaker 1: I agree, but I'm not going to be able to
- 31:32Speaker 1: I can kind of guess yours because he shouted a
- 31:34Speaker 1: name out before we go, before I ask him, which
- 31:36Speaker 1: is helpful. You're going to go Salah, Yeah, I think
- 31:41Speaker 1: I think you might go Morgan gives why. I don't
- 31:43Speaker 1: know where I've got that from. Justin Cliver, Yeah, Bruno
- 31:49Speaker 1: Fernandez and who's your fifth.
- 31:52Speaker 3: So quickly because I know, and not just because it's
- 31:58Speaker 3: from Palace obviously, but it's a big help. But Wilson
- 32:02Speaker 3: Other Bear was I was standing with the front on
- 32:04Speaker 3: the twenty one tears. Yeah that is no, no, listen,
- 32:12Speaker 3: he's cheap. So this fifth for me, this fifth spot
- 32:15Speaker 3: has to be a cheap, cheaper option, right because I
- 32:18Speaker 3: won't have any money left anyway, and I think at
- 32:20Speaker 3: five point three million, which is cheaper than Morgan Rogers
- 32:23Speaker 3: for example, I think Other Bear is amazing and he
- 32:25Speaker 3: was so good in this international break. Everybody was really
- 32:29Speaker 3: impressed with him. I think even before before this game
- 32:33Speaker 3: when he nice come back from injury, he's done well
- 32:36Speaker 3: we Spurs when he played. So I'm just saying for
- 32:39Speaker 3: cheeky fifth midfielder, just I'm just saying, like Paris born
- 32:43Speaker 3: and bred, handsome, smart, quick, really good footballer, a bit
- 32:47Speaker 3: like me. Put him in your five three million Wilson
- 32:52Speaker 3: Other Bear. That's all I'm saying.
- 32:55Speaker 2: It's also part of your thinking with the cheap fifth
- 32:56Speaker 2: that you need to keep some money for your assistant manager.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Yeah exactly.
- 33:00Speaker 1: There's a bit of that too, and I really think, yeah,
- 33:02Speaker 1: that's a good point.
- 33:03Speaker 3: There's that and also the I think Ange, I mean
- 33:06Speaker 3: it's not I think I know Ange loves him, and
- 33:08Speaker 3: I think the fact that he was injured after starting
- 33:11Speaker 3: pretty well this season I think was a blow, and
- 33:13Speaker 3: now he's bag. I wouldn't be surprised at all if
- 33:15Speaker 3: he was playing. I'm not saying he's going to start
- 33:17Speaker 3: every game and really tear it apart, but I think
- 33:20Speaker 3: he will have a lot of game time and I
- 33:23Speaker 3: think he could do really well for space. So yeah,
- 33:26Speaker 3: it's a fifth midfielder spot. I'm not saying that he
- 33:28Speaker 3: should be the star and the captain of your team
- 33:30Speaker 3: every week, but yeah, I want to believe in him.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Really, we've spent a lot of time talking about the
- 33:35Speaker 1: more expensive midfielders, really, and perhaps I think our conversation
- 33:38Speaker 1: has shown there is a bit of a lack of
- 33:41Speaker 1: options when it comes to that price bracket. It feels
- 33:43Speaker 1: like maybe we have overlooked the cheaper midfielders and that
- 33:46Speaker 1: fifth midfielder. It's a really important point that you make
- 33:49Speaker 1: when discussing Jules's fifth midfielder then, because people will still
- 33:51Speaker 1: have the assistant manager ship to play, so we'll have
- 33:53Speaker 1: to bear that in mind when distributing their budget, Sam,
- 33:55Speaker 1: who would you say is the kind of best fifth
- 33:58Speaker 1: midfielder option or some cheaper midfielder options. People will go for.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Jacob Murphy's one I've considered because obviously they have the
- 34:05Speaker 2: double in coming up, and then they'll obviously have the
- 34:08Speaker 2: blank as well, so that they'll be playing in because
- 34:12Speaker 2: so that's important and I think again it's going to
- 34:14Speaker 2: depend on your strategy, isn't it. It's also going to
- 34:16Speaker 2: partly depends on if you've got your bench boots still
- 34:18Speaker 2: to play, because if you're wild carding towards a bench
- 34:20Speaker 2: boost team, you do need to make sure that they
- 34:23Speaker 2: can't just be a burner slot. And it's the same
- 34:24Speaker 2: with the forward line, right you're going to need to
- 34:26Speaker 2: have someone that's going to be playing, and if they're
- 34:28Speaker 2: not going to be playing, you need to be fairly
- 34:31Speaker 2: sure that they're going to at least come off the
- 34:32Speaker 2: bench and get you some points. I think it depends
- 34:35Speaker 2: on what you're going to do on your forward If
- 34:36Speaker 2: you're going to go Salah and then the next most
- 34:39Speaker 2: expensive midfielder you're going to have is going to be Bruno,
- 34:42Speaker 2: it is going to be quite easy for you to
- 34:44Speaker 2: have a fifth midfielder that is worth somewhere around the
- 34:48Speaker 2: six to six and a half million, and you won't
- 34:49Speaker 2: necessarily need Morgan Rodgers levels of saving budget, but you could,
- 34:53Speaker 2: you know, you still could go back to Morgan Rodgers
- 34:55Speaker 2: if you want to. Their fixures aren't They're not terrible
- 34:58Speaker 2: to end the season. There's some nice ones in there.
- 35:00Speaker 2: When it's your fifth midfielder, you're only going to be
- 35:02Speaker 2: playing them like every now and then, and it's only
- 35:05Speaker 2: really going to be when you're bench boosting. So if
- 35:07Speaker 2: you're going to bench boost maybe in game week, say
- 35:10Speaker 2: twenty thirty six, in one of the doubles, then you
- 35:13Speaker 2: could have a look at you know, you want to
- 35:15Speaker 2: look at the fixtures. They're there, so potentially go for
- 35:18Speaker 2: somebody like Anthony or Anger, like he's one that I've
- 35:20Speaker 2: contindered to keeping.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Would you have said that a week before the last
- 35:23Speaker 1: game week though.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Probably would have said more kids before the last game week?
- 35:27Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, probably would have said stations to be had
- 35:29Speaker 1: around those two because you've both gone. You've both kind
- 35:32Speaker 1: of thrown in those Notting and Forest midfielders. By the way,
- 35:34Speaker 1: we're gonna have to move on soon because I'm going
- 35:35Speaker 1: to get in so much trouble. But the midfielder chat
- 35:37Speaker 1: is just so interesting. I think, yeah it is.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I think the Nottingham Forest midfielders are are really
- 35:42Speaker 2: nice options. The Forest fixtures are great. You're probably gonna
- 35:46Speaker 2: get if would If Wood is fit and fine, then
- 35:49Speaker 2: you're going to probably have him as one of your forwards.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Then you're probably going to go with one of either
- 35:55Speaker 2: Sales in goal, or you're going to have a defender
- 35:57Speaker 2: as we talked about last week. So then I think
- 36:00Speaker 2: you can afford to have one of the midfielderesn't to
- 36:03Speaker 2: be fair, Anthony and Anger has been my fifth midfielder
- 36:05Speaker 2: for a few weeks now, and you're right, he's been
- 36:07Speaker 2: really frustrating because I've benched a load of points out
- 36:09Speaker 2: of him, and I think that's just something you have
- 36:11Speaker 2: to accept. I'd rather that than have a player that
- 36:14Speaker 2: maybe doesn't start or maybe doesn't bring any points in
- 36:17Speaker 2: at all, because when it gets to that point where
- 36:19Speaker 2: I want to bench boost, you're going to need them
- 36:22Speaker 2: to play right. And also there are some weeks then
- 36:25Speaker 2: you want to rotate out your third forward and play
- 36:27Speaker 2: him instead. So I quite like the idea of going
- 36:30Speaker 2: for both either or of them. It's just that Anthony
- 36:33Speaker 2: and Anger is cheaper. That's the reason that I would
- 36:36Speaker 2: put him in instead.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Okay, we're going to move on because well it's so
- 36:39Speaker 1: far through this podcast. If you're listening, take a look
- 36:42Speaker 1: out how far through we are, and you'll realize we're
- 36:44Speaker 1: not going to talk about forest for very long because
- 36:46Speaker 1: we're tranking this podcast within forty five minutes. We were
- 36:48Speaker 1: really good last week, but this week I blame We
- 36:51Speaker 1: can blame me because I've asked any questions. Yeah, it
- 36:55Speaker 1: always blame and presented yours. You know that, except when
- 36:57Speaker 1: you're presenting you do do that on occasion. I'm sure
- 36:59Speaker 1: it's not your fun. Forwards. There are thirteen of them
- 37:01Speaker 1: who have broken the one hundred point barrier this season.
- 37:04Speaker 1: They've probably been some of the tricky decisions we actually
- 37:06Speaker 1: had to make, so it's great I've left such a
- 37:08Speaker 1: short amount of time, and really and they haven't been
- 37:11Speaker 1: as high scoring consistently as perhaps we've seen in previous seasons.
- 37:15Speaker 1: In fact, only nine forwards have scored more than ten goals.
- 37:18Speaker 1: See all of that said, I actually, I actually don't
- 37:22Speaker 1: think it's because of that. There's not as many options
- 37:25Speaker 1: which hopefully is going to make this a shorter conversation. Firstly,
- 37:28Speaker 1: let's have the conversation. I know a lot of people
- 37:29Speaker 1: having Erling, Harlan's on a wildcarf fuguals.
- 37:33Speaker 3: Yeah, for me, of all of all the forwards, really
- 37:36Speaker 3: this is the big conundrum and what to do really
- 37:39Speaker 3: the big dilemma. Do you find that money and bring
- 37:42Speaker 3: him in or you don't. He's returning five of the
- 37:46Speaker 3: last seven games and we've said before he's still not
- 37:49Speaker 3: at his bed. You can tell one because the service,
- 37:52Speaker 3: because of the rest of the team behind him, the
- 37:54Speaker 3: service is not so much there for him. So it's
- 37:57Speaker 3: not like before where he used to have three four
- 37:59Speaker 3: big chances every game and you knew it would take
- 38:01Speaker 3: at least two of those four. Now it's not the case.
- 38:04Speaker 3: We discussed it. For the Forest game, he had three
- 38:07Speaker 3: touches in the Forest box. What do you want him
- 38:09Speaker 3: to do with three touches or nothing? But he did
- 38:11Speaker 3: nothing and that's one of the two games that he
- 38:13Speaker 3: then returned. The other one with Liverpool and it's the same.
- 38:15Speaker 3: There was no service for him. So he can be
- 38:17Speaker 3: the best striker in the world if the board doesn't
- 38:20Speaker 3: come to him in good area. He's not going to
- 38:22Speaker 3: do anything. So this is still the thing that where
- 38:25Speaker 3: I'm a little bit not skeptical, but just a bit
- 38:28Speaker 3: wary of Like, Okay, it's a lot of money. I
- 38:30Speaker 3: don't want to build my team around him again like
- 38:33Speaker 3: we could have done before because he was such a guarantee.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Now so I need the team to still be good
- 38:39Speaker 3: outside of him, and I'm not sure with all the
- 38:41Speaker 3: money involved in him that would be the case. And
- 38:44Speaker 3: there are other great options, I think, So I'm still
- 38:46Speaker 3: really really fifty to fifteen between. I'm sorry, I see
- 38:49Speaker 3: it a bit on the fence, but it's the truth.
- 38:51Speaker 3: I'm just not convinced. Yeah and no, but it's true.
- 38:54Speaker 3: And because there's Maumus. But Marmus then has only returned
- 38:57Speaker 3: twice in his last seven, so it's his Mum's format
- 39:01Speaker 3: hasn't been great in terms of returns for us in
- 39:03Speaker 3: the game, but yet he's looked much better at times
- 39:05Speaker 3: than Harland, much more involved than Harland's And I really
- 39:09Speaker 3: would not know where to pick apart froms have the price.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I think Jules there has literally vocalized the internal debate
- 39:16Speaker 1: that so many FPL managers are having at the moment,
- 39:18Speaker 1: because it goes back to what I said before. The
- 39:21Speaker 1: Man City fixtures are there. We know how good he is.
- 39:23Speaker 1: He's scored goals this season. Perhaps we've been spoilt in
- 39:26Speaker 1: the past with a level of returns, but when you're
- 39:28Speaker 1: investing that much money, we need those returns. Fourteen point
- 39:32Speaker 1: eight million is so much of our FPO money, Sam exactly, Yeah,
- 39:35Speaker 1: And I think that last season we had Alvarez in
- 39:39Speaker 1: Harlan together and often we owned them at the same time,
- 39:42Speaker 1: and there was a whole conversation around how you know,
- 39:45Speaker 1: how do you get them both and all of that stuff.
- 39:46Speaker 1: This season, I think it's not really a conversation about
- 39:49Speaker 1: do you have them both. It's a conversation about which
- 39:51Speaker 1: one is better, which one is best to having our
- 39:54Speaker 1: teams now we know that Harland has that reassuring the
- 39:56Speaker 1: expensive price tag, right, I'm going to spend fourteen point
- 39:59Speaker 1: eighteen in on hi him and because I've spent that,
- 40:02Speaker 1: he's guaranteed.
- 40:02Speaker 2: To get points. And over the last few weeks we've
- 40:04Speaker 2: seen that. But Jeeles rightly said, we've not seen the
- 40:07Speaker 2: level of returns that you would expect for that budget.
- 40:10Speaker 2: If you're going to spend fourteen point eight. It's like
- 40:12Speaker 2: I was saying before. If I'm going to spend eight
- 40:14Speaker 2: eight to nine million on a player, I want to
- 40:15Speaker 2: return every week. If I'm going to spend fourteen plus million,
- 40:19Speaker 2: I want multiple returns every week, because that's a lot
- 40:23Speaker 2: of budget. When you compare him to my Mouche. Since
- 40:27Speaker 2: Momus did his debut in game with twenty three, since then,
- 40:31Speaker 2: my Moosh has got four goals, It's exactly the same
- 40:33Speaker 2: as Harlan. It's only better buy better at Everton, who
- 40:36Speaker 2: we had some negative things to say about and then
- 40:39Speaker 2: ended up making us all it like idies.
- 40:41Speaker 1: By performing really well.
- 40:43Speaker 2: He's got thirty eight points my Mooche, which is only
- 40:45Speaker 2: one less than Chris Wood, who you know we've been
- 40:47Speaker 2: talking about again having a brilliant season. So if I
- 40:52Speaker 2: was wild carding, I would not have Harlan. I would
- 40:54Speaker 2: have my Motion instead.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Okay, that's what a lot of people do. I guess.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Coming then, Joels, who are you for? Was it gonna
- 41:00Speaker 1: have to rote through this section? Att?
- 41:01Speaker 3: Yeah, obviously our friend Jean Philip van Gough Matteta. I
- 41:05Speaker 3: think we should rename him because he obviously lost half
- 41:07Speaker 3: of his ear or most but he's back. He should
- 41:10Speaker 3: be back again. There's a few players that we mentioned,
- 41:13Speaker 3: you like that John Philip von goth Matta because they're
- 41:16Speaker 3: playing the FAC Cup this weekend, so let's wait and
- 41:19Speaker 3: see how Bateta is doing if he's playing even and
- 41:23Speaker 3: there's there's a few other players that we mentioned from
- 41:25Speaker 3: Manchester City to again against Bournemouth, the Bournemouth player colvit
- 41:28Speaker 3: et cetera. How they do in this weekend EFA Cup
- 41:31Speaker 3: before whatever we do for game with thirty. But yeah,
- 41:36Speaker 3: Matteta of course, Issac we said, good form with Sweden
- 41:39Speaker 3: scored in ELI Cup final before the international break. You
- 41:42Speaker 3: think the momentum will be there for Newcastle already they
- 41:45Speaker 3: are that's too expensive forwards plus Harler and potentially Marmoch
- 41:50Speaker 3: is cheaper. As we said, Chris Wood three games without
- 41:52Speaker 3: scoring though in the league for Chris Wood, now, that's
- 41:54Speaker 3: only the second time this season happened. The first time
- 41:56Speaker 3: I think was in September and in that time he
- 41:59Speaker 3: stopped at three that discording his fourth gord so the
- 42:01Speaker 3: draught was never more than three. And as we said,
- 42:05Speaker 3: this is United against Forrest in midwek next week, so
- 42:09Speaker 3: there's that question mark over Christwood, who's been amazing, of course,
- 42:12Speaker 3: but it's three games in a row without a gold still.
- 42:15Speaker 3: And jeor Pedro was decent I thought with Brazil, he's
- 42:18Speaker 3: returned well lately before the international break, three in his
- 42:21Speaker 3: in his last four, So potentially jor Pedro as the
- 42:24Speaker 3: cheaper option really of all the others I mentioned for me,
- 42:27Speaker 3: it could be a good option.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Okay, so there's a few Jesus throwing as possible. Sorry, No,
- 42:33Speaker 1: that was really good, and I was just my brain
- 42:34Speaker 1: was still trying to process with her. How quick you spoke,
- 42:36Speaker 1: But it was really really helpful at this point in
- 42:38Speaker 1: the pot. And Sam, just a word on a SAC
- 42:40Speaker 1: hold essential double in gamely thirty two. We don't need
- 42:43Speaker 1: sure what him doing, so we're going to go with Sac.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Why are you even asking about? Yeah, of course what
- 42:51Speaker 3: I was just saying, I just need.
- 42:55Speaker 1: And now this has taken longer than I needed it
- 42:57Speaker 1: to be quick. So we've got right. Let's all assume
- 43:01Speaker 1: I'm not well going right now, but let's all assume
- 43:03Speaker 1: e Sac is locked in for all of us. Sam
- 43:05Speaker 1: would go for mar Mooch on a wild card.
- 43:08Speaker 3: I presume.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Then your third thot Sam would be if Mateta is fit, yeah,
- 43:12Speaker 1: which does mean I would have Chris would which makes
- 43:14Speaker 1: me feel kind of weird. Yeah, I think they would
- 43:18Speaker 1: be my one hundred percent locked in on Isak and Matta.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Those two would be non negotiables for me. You do
- 43:23Speaker 1: not need to see some fitness and you do not
- 43:25Speaker 1: need to check on Mateta this weekend though. I mean,
- 43:28Speaker 1: if he's if you can walk out on the pitch,
- 43:29Speaker 1: I want him in my team. That's how much.
- 43:31Speaker 2: That's how good is okay just to be available. It
- 43:38Speaker 2: just does to be available, And like I kept, I
- 43:41Speaker 2: deliberately made transfers last week that were compromised on the
- 43:45Speaker 2: basis that I thought I'd want Mateta back this week.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Even then you have to clear, So now I have
- 43:50Speaker 1: to Yeah, okay there did you mention it?
- 43:53Speaker 3: Yes?
- 43:53Speaker 2: There, you're three forward. Yeah, Mateto is Sak. Marmooch would would,
- 43:57Speaker 2: but then Wood might be out, so we have to
- 43:59Speaker 2: wait for news.
- 44:01Speaker 1: It's bold not to go with Wood, though, isn't it?
- 44:03Speaker 1: It is horrible?
- 44:04Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 44:05Speaker 1: Can I have four forwards place?
- 44:08Speaker 2: I don't know?
- 44:08Speaker 1: No, just a word on Kuna by the way, he's
- 44:12Speaker 1: in case you missed it. Over this international break. His
- 44:13Speaker 1: band was extended by one game, so we won't now
- 44:15Speaker 1: be back until game week thirty two. He's missing some
- 44:18Speaker 1: really good fixtures. He's already missed one. He's going to
- 44:20Speaker 1: miss west Ham and Ipswitch, so you actually I already
- 44:23Speaker 1: missed two. I've lost track now anyway, he's going to
- 44:25Speaker 1: miss with west Ham and it Yeah, we'll because he
- 44:27Speaker 1: was going to talk again. Then it's then by the
- 44:29Speaker 1: time he's back, it's Spurs United, Leicester, man City, Brighton Palace,
- 44:33Speaker 1: Brentford potentially an option. We don't need to talk about this.
- 44:37Speaker 1: We're running out of time on the pod. We can
- 44:38Speaker 1: talk about it when it comes back, can't we? And
- 44:40Speaker 1: Jews give us you three forwards again? Because you confused me? Answer?
- 44:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I think again? Locked in then, ma'm I have
- 44:49Speaker 3: a few. I'm not too sure and I think Jo
- 44:52Speaker 3: Pedro could be the other. But by then I might
- 44:54Speaker 3: not have any any much money left either, so I
- 44:58Speaker 3: would have to see it. Could could just go with
- 45:00Speaker 3: the front two and not from three, and I have
- 45:02Speaker 3: just a rubbish Sorryry, there's no rubbish plas in the premedy,
- 45:05Speaker 3: but do you know what I mean? I could really
- 45:06Speaker 3: achieve just to feel it there somewhere, you know, so yeah,
- 45:10Speaker 3: track track.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Just backtrack, just in case you ever't need them to
- 45:13Speaker 1: close your bench. You need not to be rubbish. We
- 45:16Speaker 1: don't need just quickly jokes, have you. Actually that's a
- 45:19Speaker 1: very good point, actually, Sam Jos, if you actually pressed
- 45:21Speaker 1: the button yet, no.
- 45:22Speaker 3: No, no yet, but I will I just there's there's
- 45:24Speaker 3: no I won't forget and there's no need really to
- 45:27Speaker 3: do it too early. But I'm really I'm really worried
- 45:29Speaker 3: about the Cup. I won't lie because I think there's
- 45:32Speaker 3: a lot of players who could would become in my
- 45:33Speaker 3: team that played this weekend. I would rather they didn't
- 45:36Speaker 3: play and they have the weekend off and you know,
- 45:38Speaker 3: could go to Dubai for or would be to forget
- 45:41Speaker 3: their bags at the airport for a few days just
- 45:43Speaker 3: to raise get the sun, you know, enjoy the holidays.
- 45:46Speaker 3: So I'm going to watch the CU a bit stressed
- 45:49Speaker 3: because I just don't I just don't want them to
- 45:51Speaker 3: get injured.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Yes, that's where I went. I had a lovely time
- 45:53Speaker 1: and one of my bags destination just like that, which
- 45:57Speaker 1: is where these stupid head phones. I'm just on the
- 46:01Speaker 1: FA Cup. By the way, I'm not going to go
- 46:02Speaker 1: through and try and give you a really bad explainer
- 46:05Speaker 1: of what this weekend does mean for game Week thirty four,
- 46:08Speaker 1: but I will tell you that a reminder. Game Meet
- 46:10Speaker 1: thirty four as it stands, Chelsea Everton's on Liverpool Tottenham
- 46:13Speaker 1: will be on newcast Lips, which will be as Wolves
- 46:15Speaker 1: versus Leicester. But the outcome of this weekend's games does
- 46:19Speaker 1: depend the rest of the games in Game Meet thirty four,
- 46:21Speaker 1: depending what happens this weekend so Arsenal Palace. If Palace
- 46:23Speaker 1: win this weekend, that'll be off in thirty four. If
- 46:25Speaker 1: Bournmouth win this weekend, Bournemouth Manchester United won't happen in
- 46:28Speaker 1: thirty four. If Brighton beats nottingh and Forest this weekend,
- 46:31Speaker 1: they won't play west Ham in game week thirty four
- 46:34Speaker 1: Man City Villa. If man City win, Man City Villa
- 46:36Speaker 1: won't be on. I wish I haven't started this now.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Notting Forest, Brentford and Southhampton Fulham might also be off
- 46:42Speaker 1: in game week thirty four. If Fulham or if notting
- 46:45Speaker 1: and Forest progressed. That was a really bad explainer. Check
- 46:47Speaker 1: out on the Premier League website. As parts. I think
- 46:49Speaker 1: this is where we get just quickly.
- 46:52Speaker 3: No, no, but before you go and do your next
- 46:54Speaker 3: stream on Twitch with your headphones. I was just I
- 46:57Speaker 3: just want to at least the good thing. I should
- 47:02Speaker 3: play your world card. No yeah, I mean you'll be
- 47:04Speaker 3: great with it if you play your card.
- 47:08Speaker 1: I've lost my car keys, my phone charge. These headphones
- 47:11Speaker 1: are the least of my worries right now.
- 47:13Speaker 3: I'm just saying I see you on Twitch. I'm just saying,
- 47:15Speaker 3: but I was going to say more seriously, if you
- 47:18Speaker 3: play your world card for Game with thirty you will
- 47:21Speaker 3: know who is obviously blanking in thirty four. So that
- 47:24Speaker 3: would be a massive help to build your world card
- 47:26Speaker 3: and plan as you know, planning, talent vision, everything you want.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Headphones is good for Game with thirty four. You will
- 47:34Speaker 3: know who's not playing and then you can so you
- 47:37Speaker 3: work out will be even better. That's why I mean
- 47:39Speaker 3: sorry for once.
- 47:41Speaker 1: You've ended this podcast with quite a useful point. It's
- 47:43Speaker 1: really good. But just what my point was was watch
- 47:48Speaker 1: the games this weekend and be wary that if a team,
- 47:50Speaker 1: if a Premier League team wins, check out what that's
- 47:53Speaker 1: going to do to Game with thirty four. And we'll
- 47:54Speaker 1: be back on Monday. And we'll recap exactly where we're
- 47:56Speaker 1: at with all of that, as well as previewing game
- 48:00Speaker 1: It game me thirsty next week, isn't it? You just
- 48:02Speaker 1: Hadreddit dreaded game week flers. Oh my gosh, we're into
- 48:05Speaker 1: We're into the game weeks that begin with three. That's
- 48:07Speaker 1: when I really know the season ends.
- 48:09Speaker 2: And when you get into chip strategy counts, your chips
- 48:11Speaker 2: are going to be everywhere. How long can I hold
- 48:14Speaker 2: on to use them for? Can I use them all
- 48:16Speaker 2: in the last four of the season?
- 48:18Speaker 1: No, you guys do that right. I'm going becau. People
- 48:20Speaker 1: have seen enough of me in these stupid headpimees. There's
- 48:23Speaker 1: no deadline this weekend, so I don't need to say that.
- 48:25Speaker 1: As I said, we'll be back on Monday. Jeels, Are
- 48:27Speaker 1: you going to have activated your World card by then?
- 48:29Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, definitely, it'd be ready. Like top notch you
- 48:32Speaker 3: said the other day, top notch, we said for Monday show.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Okay, brilliant. When I'm off to go stream headlights are ridiculous.
- 48:42Speaker 1: If you're listening to this is a pod, well, they're
- 48:43Speaker 1: watching on YouTube. Don't bother checking out on YouTube. I
- 48:45Speaker 1: look stupid. That's what we want to
