- 0:23Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:28Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan, O'Malley along with
- 0:31Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Thursday, July seventeenth,
- 0:35Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. It's been a whirlwind past twenty four
- 0:41Speaker 1: hours because I got some great news and then some
- 0:46Speaker 1: bad news, and then more clarity. It started out with
- 0:52Speaker 1: the viral rumor that Uno was coming to Las Vegas,
- 0:58Speaker 1: and then that got met with some screwed because the
- 1:03Speaker 1: makers of Uno had to come out and say no, No.
- 1:07Speaker 1: As exciting as the idea may be to put money
- 1:10Speaker 1: down on a tense game of Uno in Las Vegas,
- 1:13Speaker 1: the beloved childhood card game had to deliver some bad news.
- 1:17Speaker 1: After the initial report that Mattel was going to launch
- 1:22Speaker 1: the first ever Uno Social Club at the Palms in
- 1:25Speaker 1: Las Vegas, the excitement snowballed quickly. The Las Vegas Review
- 1:30Speaker 1: Journal highlighted the initial press release from Mattel regarding the
- 1:34Speaker 1: Uno Social Club. However, Uno had to make it clear
- 1:39Speaker 1: that they are that the iconic card game would not
- 1:42Speaker 1: be making its way to the gambling floor and now
- 1:47Speaker 1: we're sad because their message in response read in part.
- 1:50Speaker 1: We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but
- 1:53Speaker 1: the casino floor isn't ready for us yet. We've been
- 1:56Speaker 1: told that while they do have tight security, it's not
- 1:59Speaker 1: robust enough for UNO at this time. That makes me
- 2:04Speaker 1: sad because I'm one of the weird, random people that
- 2:10Speaker 1: has never been to Las Vegas. And I'm not saying
- 2:13Speaker 1: UNO was the thing I was waiting for. I'm just
- 2:16Speaker 1: saying that that would have been a hell of a
- 2:19Speaker 1: list on my list of things to do when I
- 2:22Speaker 1: eventually do make it to Vegas. I think I could
- 2:26Speaker 1: do pretty well against the House and some UNO. And
- 2:28Speaker 1: I think that's why Las Vegas isn't even entertaining the
- 2:33Speaker 1: notion of UNO coming, because they know it would give us,
- 2:36Speaker 1: the people, a chance to break the bank, and they're
- 2:38Speaker 1: not going to have it. It's a conspiracy. Why are
- 2:45Speaker 1: you guys like that?
- 2:47Speaker 2: I'll try ticket.
- 2:51Speaker 3: There's a reason why casinos are multi billion dollar companies.
- 2:56Speaker 1: And it's not because they're about to let gd UNO
- 2:59Speaker 1: in the house. It's it's it's not a reverse poor. Yeah,
- 3:07Speaker 1: the house is always going to have that reverse card
- 3:10Speaker 1: in their and their.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Never played the game, so I don't even know what.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I just said you you said enough. Yeah, but it does.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It does beg the question if you could have a
- 3:23Speaker 1: childhood game on the casino floor in Las Vegas, what
- 3:27Speaker 1: would it be? What would be your choice. I'll give
- 3:31Speaker 1: you guys a moment. I'll give you guys a moment
- 3:33Speaker 1: to consider your answer. I think Uno would certainly be
- 3:36Speaker 1: a fun one that would be high on my list
- 3:39Speaker 1: of games I'd love to see in a casino. I
- 3:42Speaker 1: would also love to take a run at the house
- 3:44Speaker 1: with a good old fashioned game of battleship.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Okay, as an Indian operation, I thought you were gonna
- 3:51Speaker 4: go with Monopoly.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I mean we do we have the red roof in.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I g yeah, I mean those I mean, honestly, those
- 4:01Speaker 1: games aren't just games in Indian households. You've told me
- 4:04Speaker 1: this before. They're training guides. Yes, Monopoly, so you can
- 4:09Speaker 1: build your hotel, motel, empire, and operation. Because if you're
- 4:13Speaker 1: not doing the other, then you're gonna be a doctor.
- 4:17Speaker 4: If you buzzed on the side, you were done. I
- 4:23Speaker 4: remember Neil being the antesthesiologist. I remember him on the
- 4:28Speaker 4: side and goes and looked at him. I'm like, yeah,
- 4:32Speaker 4: you're definitely not gonna gonna be a surgeon. That's that's
- 4:36Speaker 4: that's over.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But he's still But this is the guy you're talking about.
- 4:40Speaker 1: He's he's your brother, and he still became an anesthesiologist.
- 4:43Speaker 1: He's just not allowed to cut on people because he
- 4:45Speaker 1: failed operation as an Indian child. Yes, okay, got it,
- 4:50Speaker 1: Just okay, now we're all clear, Trey, what would be
- 4:52Speaker 1: your board game or childhood game of choice? To hit
- 4:55Speaker 1: the casino floor?
- 4:57Speaker 5: Old Maid?
- 5:02Speaker 1: I can't wait to get on canvas. I'm gonna take
- 5:06Speaker 1: your head shot and turn you into old Maid. That
- 5:10Speaker 1: is not the answer any of us would have expected.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I honestly thought you might have gone purist and said,
- 5:16Speaker 1: you know what, I'm good with some good old fashioned
- 5:18Speaker 1: Texas hold them.
- 5:19Speaker 5: I don't know that's already there.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Well that's why I'm saying, like you wouldn't even want
- 5:25Speaker 1: a childhood game. All the one you need is already there,
- 5:28Speaker 1: Old Maid.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Really, I mean you you that's I mean, go Fish
- 5:33Speaker 5: or Old Maid? I was, I was.
- 5:38Speaker 6: To it.
- 5:39Speaker 1: No, it does, and I want to see a new
- 5:43Speaker 1: Ocean's eleven franchise started on the back of Old Maid.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You are our Danny Ocean the heist kind of writes itself.
- 5:56Speaker 1: The whole crew dresses like Old Maids hits the casino floor.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Can we see g I, Miss Garrett, I think you
- 6:07Speaker 1: have to now who's tod.
- 6:12Speaker 3: That's facts of Life. I was going to different strokes.
- 6:19Speaker 1: The trudy appearance slash. Facts of Life is what happens
- 6:22Speaker 1: after you've lost your ass at Old Maid in Vegas.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Like Old Maid is on the strip the Facts of
- 6:31Speaker 1: Life game that's downtown.
- 6:35Speaker 2: You want to take that?
- 6:37Speaker 3: The fact facts of Life is what happens after you
- 6:39Speaker 3: witnessed child trafficking by the old white guy.
- 6:45Speaker 1: And for clarity and for clarity, we're talking about mister Drummond,
- 6:51Speaker 1: not any specific political figure whatsoever. Old man.

- 7:22Speaker 1: what do you think is a really sexy gift to
- 7:24Speaker 1: give your significant other?
- 7:26Speaker 8: It's a combination of thoughts that go through my mind
- 7:28Speaker 8: when you ask that. So unique locations to make love
- 7:33Speaker 8: with your wife or significant other. What better place to
- 7:36Speaker 8: be than on top of your roof looking at the
- 7:38Speaker 8: moon the stars while making passionate love. But you need
- 7:43Speaker 8: to make sure your roof is sturdy enough to handle that.
- 7:45Speaker 8: That's a lot of motion and you'd also have a
- 7:48Speaker 8: sudden accident falling through your roof.
- 7:49Speaker 5: That would be terrible.
- 7:50Speaker 8: Make sure your roof is able to withstand that passion.
- 7:54Speaker 1: You want to make sure before you attempt this that
- 7:57Speaker 1: you have a good sturdy roof called Daniel three COOKDFW.
- 8:01Speaker 1: If you decide not to take that advice and go
- 8:03Speaker 1: up there and do it anyway and then the two
- 8:05Speaker 1: of you come crashing through your roof because it was
- 8:07Speaker 1: not in good shape, then you still need to call
- 8:09Speaker 1: Daniel to have them come out and fix it. Eight

- 8:57Speaker 1: the website cookdfw dot com. This is the tree House Show.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I'm Dan, He's Trey, that's Raj. This next story has
- 9:05Speaker 1: really given me the heb gbis for two reasons. Number One,
- 9:11Speaker 1: certain creepy crawley things just ook me, like the I
- 9:15Speaker 1: don't know if it's I can never remember if it's
- 9:17Speaker 1: the centipede or the millipede, the really big ones, the
- 9:20Speaker 1: fat ones with all the legs, like when they had
- 9:24Speaker 1: to put the hand through the hole in Temple of
- 9:27Speaker 1: Doom and those things were crawling all over Kate Capshaw's arm.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I found one of those in my driveway the other
- 9:31Speaker 1: day and I'm still not recovered from it. Thankfully it
- 9:35Speaker 1: was dead, or it's playing a really good game of possum,
- 9:40Speaker 1: but I'm not gonna mess with it anyway. Certain creepy
- 9:43Speaker 1: crawley things with too many legs I don't like. And
- 9:46Speaker 1: the other thing is anything having to do with my
- 9:48Speaker 1: eyes like Trey when you got contacts recently. I couldn't
- 9:53Speaker 1: even watch you do anything with those. And Raj likes
- 9:55Speaker 1: to mess with me with his because he knows that
- 9:58Speaker 1: I get ooked out by. But get your finger out.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Stop it, stop it, stop it. So anyway, there's something
- 10:07Speaker 1: that almost everyone has that might just gross you out.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Eyelash mites. That mate on your face as you sleep
- 10:15Speaker 1: could be to blame for your itchy dry eyes. Eyelash
- 10:21Speaker 1: mights that mate on your face as you sleep. I'm
- 10:25Speaker 1: never gonna sleep again. Just I'm gonna turn into a
- 10:28Speaker 1: long haul trucker. I'm just never gonna sleep, never close
- 10:32Speaker 1: my eyes, and if if I ever have any red itchiness,
- 10:36Speaker 1: I might just pluck my eyeballs out.
- 10:40Speaker 3: You know that that was a fact. I could have
- 10:41Speaker 3: gone my whole life and not known and been just you.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Yeah, me too. But since I had to know it,
- 10:48Speaker 1: you have to know it. Eyelash mis eyelash mites. And
- 10:53Speaker 1: it's not just the fact that they're there. The fact
- 10:55Speaker 1: that they're on your face while you sleep is in
- 11:00Speaker 1: all the injury. Like you know, they're talking trash about
- 11:04Speaker 1: you as they do it.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Okay, they're doing it on your face.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Yes, because they live in your eyelashes and they have
- 11:15Speaker 1: to breed, they have to procreate, which means they're also
- 11:18Speaker 1: probably birthing in your eyeballs.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, yeah, I'll give you a little more.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I'll give you already gave you the solution. You pluck
- 11:30Speaker 1: your eyeballs out. Or if they only live in your eyelashes,
- 11:34Speaker 1: then maybe just torture face, like just blink, blink on
- 11:37Speaker 1: top of a charcoal grill a few times, and then
- 11:40Speaker 1: maybe that'll get rid of them. Over twenty million Americans
- 11:43Speaker 1: have dry eye disease, which means that their eyes don't
- 11:45Speaker 1: produce enough tears, or their tears evaporate too quickly, dry
- 11:48Speaker 1: air wind, certain autoimmune diseases, medications like antihistamines and decongestions,
- 11:54Speaker 1: too much screen time, vitamin eight efficiency, and contact lenses
- 11:58Speaker 1: are often to blame. This is why they say that
- 12:00Speaker 1: most Americans are going to suffer in one way or
- 12:02Speaker 1: another from this, because we're all guilty of at least
- 12:05Speaker 1: one of these things. Doctor Ashley Brissett, a board certified
- 12:10Speaker 1: ophthalmologist and is surgeon at Kelly Vision in New York City,
- 12:14Speaker 1: suggests that there's a scarier that there's a scarier, overlooked
- 12:18Speaker 1: cause of dry eye microscopic pests living in our eyelashes
- 12:22Speaker 1: and eyebrows, and these eight legged freeloaders are known as
- 12:27Speaker 1: eyelash mites or demo decks. She says. While they are
- 12:34Speaker 1: typically harmless and almost everyone has these, an overgrowth of
- 12:38Speaker 1: these mites, which feed off the bacteria that lives on
- 12:41Speaker 1: our lashes, can lead to conditions like blepharitis. Why are
- 12:47Speaker 1: you laughing at me? Leftritis? Oh excuse me, doctor shrman.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It's the first time I've seen that word blephoritis, which
- 12:57Speaker 1: causes eyelid inflammation, and this dry eye STIs itchy eyes
- 13:02Speaker 1: and irritation. Before you get out the raid and make
- 13:05Speaker 1: things a whole lot worse, she says, this is how
- 13:08Speaker 1: you combat the eyelash mites. Okay, okay, mm hmmmmmm, she says,
- 13:17Speaker 1: pluck out your eyeballs. See I told you. Uh No.
- 13:23Speaker 1: She actually recommends there's a prescription eye drops called x dimvy,
- 13:27Speaker 1: which can eradicate the mites typically taste, typically taken twice
- 13:31Speaker 1: a day for six weeks. She also says you need
- 13:33Speaker 1: to be washing the eyelids daily with an eyelid formulated cleanser.
- 13:37Speaker 1: This gets rid of the mites as well as the
- 13:39Speaker 1: bacteria and debris that they feed off of. Or you
- 13:42Speaker 1: know what, I may just take a page out of
- 13:44Speaker 1: Trey's book, which is don powerwash everything. Mm hm, I'm
- 13:50Speaker 1: I'll go that route first before I, you know, try
- 13:53Speaker 1: to hit my deductible up for a new prescription. I'll
- 13:55Speaker 1: just you know, don powerwash right in the eyes.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Or maybe the centipede can eat them off your eyelashes.
- 14:01Speaker 1: What is wrong with you?
- 14:08Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:08Speaker 5: I mean, I mean, I bet they like little mites.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Mm hmm. I mean you have good eyes.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I do, which is why I want to keep them
- 14:18Speaker 1: nice and fresh and taken care of. I'm a four
- 14:21Speaker 1: I'm a forty five year old man with no need
- 14:25Speaker 1: for corrective vision whatsoever. These are my These are my
- 14:28Speaker 1: o g eyeballs. Now, you know what, I you know
- 14:35Speaker 1: what else? I have two of that works good? These
- 14:37Speaker 1: right here, one for each of you.

- 16:01Speaker 1: is still Thursday, July seventeen, twenty twenty five. Tray, Time
- 16:06Speaker 1: to put up your dukes. Someone is taking Trey's favorite
- 16:10Speaker 1: word and running it right through the mud. A new
- 16:14Speaker 1: survey found thirty nine percent of Americans can't get through
- 16:19Speaker 1: an average day without swearing at least once. This pole
- 16:24Speaker 1: also looked at forty different swear words to see how
- 16:29Speaker 1: offensive each one is, and number one is the heaviest
- 16:35Speaker 1: hitter of them all. Trey, would you venture a guess
- 16:45Speaker 1: that would be it?
- 16:46Speaker 2: Yes?
- 16:46Speaker 5: Well done?
- 16:47Speaker 1: Yet yeah? Yeah? Number one eighty one percent of people
- 16:54Speaker 1: are offended by the sea word.
- 16:56Speaker 5: It's had to be an American pole.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Other countries use it as freely as we use yeah.
- 17:09Speaker 1: The top five most offensive swear words according to this
- 17:13Speaker 1: new poll. At number five, sixty two percent of people
- 17:17Speaker 1: are offended by the P word. Some might use it
- 17:22Speaker 1: in reference to a cat, others might use it in
- 17:24Speaker 1: reference to a body part. Number four sixty five percent
- 17:33Speaker 1: of people are offended by the F word. Number three
- 17:37Speaker 1: sixty six percent of people are offended by the B word.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I am so surprised that bitch is on top of
- 17:43Speaker 1: F because a lot of people, a lot of people
- 17:49Speaker 1: use the B word in America the way other countries
- 17:54Speaker 1: use the C word. Because the B word now is
- 17:58Speaker 1: really popular among whether it's being used in a friendly
- 18:03Speaker 1: manner or in a derogatory one. Number two is possibly
- 18:10Speaker 1: Sam Samuel L. Jackson's favorite swear. That's mother effort. Seventy
- 18:14Speaker 1: one percent of people are offended by that, and number
- 18:17Speaker 1: one is the C word. Eighty one percent of people
- 18:21Speaker 1: are offended by that word, and Trey, I know it's
- 18:27Speaker 1: your favorite and there's reason for it. And what I
- 18:31Speaker 1: think you have I think you have an opportunity here
- 18:35Speaker 1: to tell eighty one percent of people who are offended
- 18:38Speaker 1: by your favorite word.
- 18:40Speaker 2: It has.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Utility. It's not just a mean word. It's a word
- 18:47Speaker 1: that has uses in so many ways. Texture.
- 18:52Speaker 5: Yes, it can be a term of endearment.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yes, I was married to an Australia.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Yeah, I got called it daily.
- 19:06Speaker 5: How did she m?
- 19:09Speaker 1: Can you give me an example of how she used
- 19:11Speaker 1: it in an endearing fashion?
- 19:13Speaker 4: Rajuh, She'd say, I love you you?
- 19:17Speaker 2: Oh okay, uh huh.
- 19:22Speaker 3: It rolls off especially the Australians. It just rolls off
- 19:25Speaker 3: their tongue. It makes me so jealous because it just.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Rolls off mine too.
- 19:31Speaker 5: I mean it kind of leaps off mine.
- 19:34Speaker 1: But yeah, yours is an Olympic diver. Actually, you know what,
- 19:41Speaker 1: I take that back. I didn't mean to offend you, Trey.
- 19:43Speaker 1: When when the C word leaps off your tongue, it's
- 19:46Speaker 1: not like an Olympic diver. It's like the red Bull
- 19:49Speaker 1: cliff divers. They can't wait and they're holding go pros.
- 19:58Speaker 1: You know why because they want to get every buddy's reaction.
- 20:05Speaker 1: I mean, it really is true that word has serious power.
- 20:09Speaker 1: And the ironic thing is that word can leap off
- 20:12Speaker 1: your tongue like a red bull cliff diver, and it
- 20:15Speaker 1: can also make someone jump off a cliff against.
- 20:20Speaker 3: It.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Really is it?
- 20:21Speaker 5: Now?
- 20:22Speaker 2: How often do you use it? Me? Yeah?
- 20:29Speaker 3: Yes, like driving in the carn like, oh, all of it.
- 20:38Speaker 1: That, all of Luke twelve is just one giant one.
- 20:44Speaker 5: Don't never get me on lbj.

- 22:30Speaker 1: Yes, yes, bank seeing. That is true. That is the
- 22:33Speaker 1: new dating trend that is leaving people baffled and heartbroken,
- 22:40Speaker 1: and they're there, they are calling it. It is the
- 22:42Speaker 1: new toxic relationship trend taking the romantic world by storm. Banksying.
- 22:49Speaker 5: So I guess, you know, no surprise.
- 22:50Speaker 3: I'll just I'm assuming that's a g This is a
- 22:54Speaker 3: gen Z thing because they have to.
- 22:56Speaker 5: Put a name on every thing. So I'm just gonna
- 23:01Speaker 5: have their gen Z or the Twats of the year.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Uh.
- 23:05Speaker 5: Yeah, that's just that's what happens when your relationship is dying.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Uh you know, you're you withdrawal and uh, you know,
- 23:14Speaker 3: suffer through it and then to the point where then
- 23:16Speaker 3: you just like leave.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Yeah, they define they define bank seeing because it derives
- 23:22Speaker 1: its name from the elusive street artist Banksy, known for
- 23:25Speaker 1: art that pops up out of nowhere and then usually
- 23:28Speaker 1: comes with a cryptic twist, but like a baffling Banksy
- 23:31Speaker 1: art piece, banks Seeing in a relationship involves slowly withdrawing
- 23:35Speaker 1: emotionally from your partner without telling them that's what you're doing,
- 23:39Speaker 1: and when the time comes to finally break up, the
- 23:42Speaker 1: Banksy err often feels better having mentally checked out of
- 23:45Speaker 1: the relationship long ago, while the other partner is left
- 23:47Speaker 1: blindsided and confused. So, yeah, that's Banksy.
- 23:52Speaker 5: That's called That's how relationships end. A lot of times,
- 23:57Speaker 5: you don't really need a name for it.
- 23:59Speaker 1: That's how most of us just that's just called breaking up.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 24:04Speaker 1: It's it's very rare that a relationship ends mutually, like
- 24:09Speaker 1: you might end a dating thing mutually early on, when
- 24:13Speaker 1: you both realize that you know what, I don't think
- 24:15Speaker 1: we're vibing, so you go your separate ways. But when
- 24:19Speaker 1: you get into an honest to goodness relationship committed to
- 24:22Speaker 1: one another, the standard way that you break up or
- 24:28Speaker 1: get dumped is that one of you slowly builds up
- 24:33Speaker 1: the pull away and then eventually drops the hammer on
- 24:37Speaker 1: the relationship, leaving one side of it. As we said,
- 24:41Speaker 1: they're completely blind desided.
- 24:43Speaker 2: M h.
- 24:45Speaker 1: And yeah, that's that's just that's that's that's that's just,
- 24:48Speaker 1: that's breaking up. Sorry, I'm with you, Trey.
- 24:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean that's just.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Or And for a lot of people, you you realize
- 24:59Speaker 3: it's not gonna work.
- 25:00Speaker 5: But you're too, you know, m hm.
- 25:02Speaker 3: For whatever reason, you don't just completely You should probably
- 25:05Speaker 3: just break up and go your separate way. But yes,
- 25:09Speaker 3: I was uh uh, but instead you you you suffer
- 25:15Speaker 3: through it and slowly it dies, dies inside you, and
- 25:17Speaker 3: then then you leave.
- 25:19Speaker 2: M That's called marriage.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Yeah, actually, yeah, you're right. Bank seeing is just another
- 25:27Speaker 1: name for divorce, wasn't it. Ghosting was Ghosting is when
- 25:35Speaker 1: you just you just disappear and there's no more communication whatsoever.
- 25:38Speaker 1: You don't even say we're breaking up. You're just you're gone.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Oh gotcha?
- 25:42Speaker 5: Okay.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I like to call that ninjaing.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I call it rauching. I just don't call you again.
- 25:54Speaker 1: You're the worst Indian ever. You're supposed to pop out
- 25:57Speaker 1: of the lamp, not run back in it. Although I

- 27:05Speaker 1: I'm Dan, He's trade. That's RAJ. Today is Thursday, July seventeenth,
- 27:11Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. It's time for birthdays. Carrie Fisher's daughter,
- 27:21Speaker 1: Debbie Reynolds's granddaughter and Leah's communications officer Lieutenant Connox in
- 27:26Speaker 1: the new Star Wars trilogy, Billy Lord is thirty three today.
- 27:31Speaker 1: She also has played Winter Anderson on American horror story
- 27:34Speaker 1: Cult and Chanel Number three on Scream Queens. Carrie Fisher's daughter,
- 27:38Speaker 1: Billy Lord turns thirty three, which gives us an opportunity
- 27:41Speaker 1: to once again slam on Star Wars. I have not
- 27:47Speaker 1: gone back and rewatched any of them yet. I'm tempted to,
- 27:50Speaker 1: but I've I've been watching a lot of movie trailers lately,
- 27:54Speaker 1: and I'm just reminded how hopeful I was for that
- 27:59Speaker 1: first new The Force Awakens, just based on the trailer.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I think I watched that trailer thirty times within two
- 28:07Speaker 1: or three days. I was so excited for that film.
- 28:10Speaker 1: And I will say, when I think back on the
- 28:13Speaker 1: new Star Wars movies, that one was fine, and considering
- 28:20Speaker 1: the next two, that says a lot.
- 28:24Speaker 5: No, You're You're correct.
- 28:27Speaker 3: That first one was just good enough that made you
- 28:31Speaker 3: look forward to the second one. And that's when the
- 28:33Speaker 3: massive disappointment started. And they were doing a Star Wars marathon,
- 28:38Speaker 3: so I happened. I I caught the end of the
- 28:43Speaker 3: second one, The Red where Luke diyes and yeah, it's
- 28:52Speaker 3: they're just just not good.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I just I just hated how Ryan Johnson, who wrote
- 28:57Speaker 1: and directed the second one, I just I just hate
- 28:59Speaker 1: how we did it. I hate that he just man
- 29:01Speaker 1: handled it. I understand why he did what he did,
- 29:05Speaker 1: but it just felt like a middle finger to all
- 29:07Speaker 1: the fans. Meanwhile, Raj is burying his chin on his
- 29:13Speaker 1: hands like a happy little girl, knowing that we're the
- 29:15Speaker 1: nerds and he's not.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Yep, this is the whitest conversation I've ever heard.
- 29:21Speaker 1: It is not Raj, That is not that is not
- 29:24Speaker 1: a white person specific thing. I'm you know what, the
- 29:27Speaker 1: saddest thing is the best Star Wars No, no, no, hang on,
- 29:31Speaker 1: The best Star Wars thing I've seen in ten fifteen
- 29:35Speaker 1: years is Rogue one. But you know what, the I
- 29:42Speaker 1: take it back. The best Star Wars thing I've seen
- 29:45Speaker 1: recently is that Star Wars Coca Cola commercial that was
- 29:48Speaker 1: viral last week where it's all the Star Wars kids,
- 29:52Speaker 1: all the people, all the adults dressed up in Star
- 29:55Speaker 1: Wars stuff at a movie theater and it's like a
- 29:58Speaker 1: two minute ad for Coca cola. Mm hmmm. That was phenomenal.
- 30:03Speaker 1: If you haven't seen it, look it up. It really
- 30:05Speaker 1: is great. Just search Star Wars cocaine and it's not.
- 30:08Speaker 3: That's not great, that's not It was actually an exercise
- 30:14Speaker 3: and absolute futility of the commercial was that long and just.
- 30:22Speaker 4: No, when the whites on the show, the whitest guy
- 30:27Speaker 4: on the show was like, that's too white.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I'm just saying you're like a sith lord against joy.
- 30:36Speaker 5: No, just against you know, bad stuff.
- 30:43Speaker 1: That may be the most eloquent thing you've ever said.
- 30:47Speaker 5: Mentioned Darth Vader was black.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Yeah, oh under the hell.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good thing.
- 31:06Speaker 6: You're in the tree House.
- 31:08Speaker 7: Visit us online at Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 31:18Speaker 6: You're in the tree House.

- 31:35Speaker 1: media platforms. That's at Treehouse on Air. Give us a
- 31:38Speaker 1: follow today. Earlier we talked about Trey's favorite word being
- 31:43Speaker 1: run through the mud and how we just weren't going
- 31:45Speaker 1: to stand for it. There is a little more information
- 31:49Speaker 1: about offensive swears in this survey. So I initially told
- 31:54Speaker 1: you that a new survey found thirty nine percent of
- 31:56Speaker 1: Americans cannot get through an average day without swearing, at
- 32:01Speaker 1: least once I've done the analysis. Our very own trade
- 32:06Speaker 1: Trendholme can't get through an entire sentence without using a
- 32:09Speaker 1: swear word most of the time. And there's nothing wrong
- 32:14Speaker 1: with that I'm just it's it's a talent.
- 32:18Speaker 5: I just that's circumstantial.
- 32:21Speaker 3: I mean, if I'm driving, absolutely correct, if I'm around
- 32:29Speaker 3: other people, absolutely correct.
- 32:32Speaker 1: This pole also looked at settings and scenarios where people
- 32:36Speaker 1: think swearing is acceptable or not, and which words we
- 32:39Speaker 1: find the most offensive. Well, we know that the most
- 32:41Speaker 1: offensive word according to the survey was the C word,
- 32:44Speaker 1: But what about the times where it's okay to swear?
- 32:50Speaker 1: According to this survey, people say it's okay to swear
- 32:53Speaker 1: when you're alone, when you've hurt yourself. Let me go
- 32:58Speaker 1: back to that. It says it's okay to swear when
- 33:00Speaker 1: you're alone. I don't know if they mean when you're
- 33:04Speaker 1: alone or because you're alone. I'm alone, God, when you've
- 33:11Speaker 1: hurt yourself absolutely acceptable. That's when I swear the most,
- 33:16Speaker 1: when you're hanging out with friends, when you're at a
- 33:19Speaker 1: sporting event, and swearing on social media is fifth one
- 33:27Speaker 1: that's not included there. Or I absolutely think it's okay
- 33:30Speaker 1: and expected is if something's not working the way it's
- 33:34Speaker 1: supposed to. Like, I don't think I've ever had a
- 33:37Speaker 1: moment in my life when I've taken that USB plug
- 33:41Speaker 1: and tried to plug it in and when it's upside down.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I will swear every single time.
- 33:47Speaker 2: And we can take you to a home depot.
- 33:53Speaker 1: You can take me to a home depot in the.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Do yourself aisle.
- 33:59Speaker 1: I can do things myself. I just in order to
- 34:02Speaker 1: do them. The things that I'm using need to work.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 34:07Speaker 1: If I go to home depot and then I buy
- 34:09Speaker 1: something and I get it home and it doesn't work,
- 34:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna swear a lot.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Okay, gotcha, Yeah, because.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Then that means I gotta go back. Oh yeah, yeah
- 34:21Speaker 1: with the receipt. Okay, yeah, that too. Don't lose that
- 34:23Speaker 1: otherwise I'll swear.
- 34:25Speaker 7: Uh.
- 34:26Speaker 1: These are the top five times it's not okay to swear.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Church.
- 34:32Speaker 1: People say it's not okay to swear at church. I say,
- 34:36Speaker 1: it depends, like what you said. Trade to me, that's circumstantial.
- 34:39Speaker 1: What's happening at church? Maybe there's a reason to swear.
- 34:44Speaker 2: How good is church?
- 34:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it may make you swear and or slap your mama.
- 34:50Speaker 1: That ad a really good sermon.
- 34:54Speaker 5: I mean to say, Damn, that's a good sermon.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and when a Hindu says it, it's really good. Yeah,
- 35:11Speaker 2: of the dam that's.
- 35:12Speaker 1: A good service.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm off on board.
- 35:16Speaker 1: The other times where people say it's not okay to swear.
- 35:19Speaker 1: In addition to church, they say it's not okay to
- 35:21Speaker 1: swear in front of children. Someone should have told my
- 35:24Speaker 1: mom that when I was a child. Other people say
- 35:26Speaker 1: it's not okay to swear in front of a client
- 35:30Speaker 1: at work. Others say swearing at an employee in a
- 35:34Speaker 1: store is not okay. There are a number of Karens
- 35:37Speaker 1: who feel otherwise. Trey doesn't call them Karens, by the way.
- 35:41Speaker 1: He has the other name for.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Them, the waste of a k.
- 35:53Speaker 1: If a sound is going to come out of train.
- 36:01Speaker 1: For all things Treehouse, go to Treehouse on Air dot com.

- 36:13Speaker 1: and for Raj it's at Comedian Raj. By the way,
- 36:15Speaker 1: the last place they say it's not okay to swear
- 36:18Speaker 1: is in front of your boss. I would like to
- 36:20Speaker 1: counter unless he's swearing at you first. We'll see you
- 36:30Speaker 1: tomorrow right here inside the Treehouse
