- 0:00Speaker 1: I have to wait.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It's a really uphill battle, and only since with President
- 0:05Speaker 2: Trump at the helm is there even a chance of
- 0:07Speaker 2: doing that. There's some version of the say back that
- 0:10Speaker 2: we can get at least fifty votes as well.
- 0:12Speaker 1: The Same America Act is the post child for constitutional
- 0:16Speaker 1: great legislation, and they will act on it. What about
- 0:19Speaker 1: the walk in filibuster? The America people are paying them
- 0:21Speaker 1: to do a job, they're not doing it.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Republican Senator from Florida, Rick Scott joins US now Senator Scott.
- 0:30Speaker 3: President Trump told you guys that you had to do
- 0:33Speaker 3: the Same America Act before going on recess.
- 0:37Speaker 4: What happened, Well, the good and the bad for the
- 0:41Speaker 4: week is we got Toddy Blanche done. We got the
- 0:44Speaker 4: Russia sanctions bill done. Government's not going to get shut
- 0:47Speaker 4: down October one. We did get a vote which was
- 0:50Speaker 4: a big deal. We got to vote. All fifty three
- 0:52Speaker 4: republic Centers voted for a bill on voter ID. And
- 0:56Speaker 4: we have a commitment now when we get back that
- 0:58Speaker 4: we are going to vote on the bill to pass
- 1:00Speaker 4: the House. Already that said there's no insider trading in
- 1:03Speaker 4: the Congress and add voter ID. So we're going to
- 1:06Speaker 4: get a vote on that, and every Republican center is
- 1:10Speaker 4: going to work to get the reconciliation bill done that
- 1:12Speaker 4: will include election security. So while we haven't gotten done yet,
- 1:17Speaker 4: we are. We are not giving up. I hope and
- 1:20Speaker 4: in the next month everybody calls every Republican Democrat senator
- 1:23Speaker 4: and say we've got to get this done. I'm not
- 1:25Speaker 4: giving up. I know, Mike Lee's not giving up. Ron
- 1:27Speaker 4: Johnson's not giving up. So we're going to figure out
- 1:30Speaker 4: how to get this done.
- 1:31Speaker 3: And we knew that the president's patience with John Thune
- 1:35Speaker 3: was wearing thin. Now we know how. Then listen to this.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Do you want Thoon to serve another term as leader?
- 1:41Speaker 4: Do you think would you support him? Why don't get
- 1:43Speaker 4: into that necessarily.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Senators gott Is John Thune toast.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Well, look, it's hard to be the leader. I ran
- 1:52Speaker 4: to be the leader John Thune won. It's hard to
- 1:55Speaker 4: bring everybody together. Uh So you know it's it's it's
- 1:58Speaker 4: a hard it's a hard job. You know what I'm
- 2:00Speaker 4: working hard to do is make sure that we vote
- 2:03Speaker 4: and fight. Like Hill, I personal believe we ought to
- 2:06Speaker 4: either get rid of the philibuscher or enforce the filibuster
- 2:09Speaker 4: that way, once people finish talking, it's only fifty votes
- 2:13Speaker 4: to pass legislation like the Save America Act. We've got
- 2:16Speaker 4: we have fifty three. We've got at least fifty. But
- 2:18Speaker 4: I think we can get fifty three people to pass
- 2:20Speaker 4: Election Security if we could get past the filibuster.
- 2:24Speaker 3: You mentioned as one of the things the Senate did
- 2:27Speaker 3: get done before going on recess. Todd Blanche now confirmed
- 2:30Speaker 3: as the Attorney General. One of the first things he's
- 2:32Speaker 3: going to have to decide is whether or not to
- 2:35Speaker 3: prosecute Tony Fauci for contempt of Congress. Have you told
- 2:40Speaker 3: Blanche what to do there?
- 2:44Speaker 4: Well, when I've talked to first off, I'm happy he's
- 2:47Speaker 4: the turn general. This guy. Look at his background. He's
- 2:49Speaker 4: got a great background, and he's going to do a
- 2:52Speaker 4: great job. I've talked to him. He's going to take
- 2:54Speaker 4: it seriously. He's going to look into it. The other
- 2:57Speaker 4: person you really need to thank is Rand Paul. We
- 2:59Speaker 4: wouldn't be where we are but because what he and
- 3:02Speaker 4: his team have done as a Chairman of Homeland Security
- 3:04Speaker 4: to get Fauci to the table, make him testify, get
- 3:07Speaker 4: the diar, release the diary. Now we know we have
- 3:10Speaker 4: his phone, so we'll get that information out there. So
- 3:12Speaker 4: the public is getting information even though Fauci would not
- 3:16Speaker 4: answer questions, even though he had probably an autopin pardon.
- 3:21Speaker 4: So Ram Paul's done the right thing. I believe Todd
- 3:25Speaker 4: Blanche will do the right thing.
- 3:26Speaker 3: And you just mentioned this thing about Tony Fauci's phone.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Your committee now has a copy of his COVID Task
- 3:33Speaker 3: Force era iPhone. I was looking at the Fauci pardon
- 3:37Speaker 3: this week. You can see the autopen signature got cut
- 3:41Speaker 3: off there at the bottom. But in this pardon it
- 3:44Speaker 3: basically says that he is not going to get charged
- 3:47Speaker 3: with anything that happened during COVID. So what are you
- 3:51Speaker 3: guys hoping to get off of his phone?
- 3:55Speaker 4: The truth? I mean, people just want the truth. I mean, well,
- 3:59Speaker 4: this guy had a all you to don't come in
- 4:01Speaker 4: and tell us the truth? Okay?
- 4:02Speaker 1: Was it?
- 4:03Speaker 4: Did it come out of the lab? Did you spend
- 4:05Speaker 4: money on gain of function? Did you cause the coronavirus?
- 4:08Speaker 4: All right? Why did you tell us that our loved
- 4:10Speaker 4: ones we couldn't go to see our loved ones in
- 4:12Speaker 4: the nursing home? Why they died? Why did you tell
- 4:14Speaker 4: us we couldn't go to church. Why did you tell
- 4:16Speaker 4: us that the vaccine would never we got the vaccine,
- 4:18Speaker 4: will never have COVID again? Why did you? And then
- 4:21Speaker 4: why was your diary saying different things? So tell us
- 4:25Speaker 4: we people want the truth now, they want him to
- 4:28Speaker 4: be accountable for Lyne. But reality is people would be more,
- 4:32Speaker 4: they would feel better if he said, you know what,
- 4:34Speaker 4: I made my best decision. I should have said it
- 4:37Speaker 4: this way. I didn't say it this way. I was
- 4:38Speaker 4: acting in your best interest. I made a lot of mistakes.
- 4:41Speaker 4: He's not willing to do that. And it's a complete
- 4:44Speaker 4: cover up of what he believed and what he told us,
- 4:47Speaker 4: and it caused people to die, not see their loved
- 4:49Speaker 4: ones take vaccines when they shouldn't. So so many people
- 4:53Speaker 4: died because of Anthony Fauci.
- 4:56Speaker 3: And we've got these new pictures of doctor Fauci in
- 4:59Speaker 3: Washington this week. We'll put him up on the screen.
- 5:01Speaker 3: We can't say if he's innocent or guilty, but look
- 5:04Speaker 3: at him. He's definitely miserable. Is that the point? Because
- 5:08Speaker 3: it is going to be really, really tough to get
- 5:10Speaker 3: a jury in Washington, d C. To jail him on anything.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Well, I think the right thing is. You know, what
- 5:18Speaker 4: the Attorney general has to do is go through the process.
- 5:21Speaker 4: If it's e violated the law, he needs to be
- 5:24Speaker 4: held accountable. Whatever the jury does, he needs to go
- 5:27Speaker 4: and be held accountable. I believe, I believe he lied
- 5:29Speaker 4: to the American public. I believe it was intentional. I
- 5:32Speaker 4: believe he ought to be prosecuted. But that's right, a
- 5:34Speaker 4: jury gets to make a decision.
- 5:36Speaker 3: We also have a picture of missus Fauci that we
- 5:39Speaker 3: will put up. She's giving the photographer the middle finger.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Is she flipping him off, Senator? Or do you think
- 5:46Speaker 3: she's just signaling that she agrees with you guys? One
- 5:49Speaker 3: count of contempt.
- 5:53Speaker 4: You know, it's so disappointed. I mean, Anthony Faucher was
- 5:56Speaker 4: the more worried about going to deal with Jake Tapper
- 5:58Speaker 4: than helping American citizen. He was more worried about fame
- 6:01Speaker 4: and fortune than anything else. He used federal resources to
- 6:04Speaker 4: go try to make money. So I you know, I
- 6:06Speaker 4: just wish we could get the truth. That's think about it.
- 6:09Speaker 4: If we're gonna have another pandemic. What's happened is no
- 6:11Speaker 4: one trust the federal government anymore in their information because
- 6:14Speaker 4: of Anthony Fauci, we don't trust, we don't trust the CDC, FDA,
- 6:17Speaker 4: and I h anymore.
- 6:20Speaker 3: And uh, this is a little bit of a term,
- 6:21Speaker 3: but you guys passed something that Lindsay Graham was talking
- 6:24Speaker 3: about in his last hours alive, these these new sanctions
- 6:27Speaker 3: on Russia.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Uh.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Now the Wall Street Journal is reporting that Putin is
- 6:31Speaker 3: figuring out which NATO country to hit with a small
- 6:34Speaker 3: scale land incursion. Is that the next headache?
- 6:40Speaker 4: Absolutely? I First off, Putin, she the Iatola came jugging
- 6:44Speaker 4: and they're despicable people. Uh. And we all have to
- 6:47Speaker 4: understand as Americans, we better understand that if we want
- 6:51Speaker 4: our freedom, it's gonna we're gonna have to fight for it.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Europe has to stand up and fight for their freedom,
- 6:56Speaker 4: and we've got we've got to be an ally to them.
- 6:58Speaker 4: But they got to put up their resources and fight
- 7:00Speaker 4: like hell to prevent this. So I'm glad that the
- 7:03Speaker 4: Russia's Action Bill passed. Lindsey Graham was a very good friend.
- 7:07Speaker 4: He cared about people around the world, which impacts our freedom.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Also by caring about Ukraine, all right, he cared about
- 7:14Speaker 4: our freedom. So I'm glad to bill passed. You know
- 7:17Speaker 4: I missed Lindsay Graham. He was a great American patriot.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Senator Rick Scott, thank you for being here on the
- 7:23Speaker 3: Sunday Briefing again, appreciate it.
