  I'm gonna get into these right away. As you know, this is only a 15 minute program or so.

  that gold. You're not gonna wanna miss, so here we go.

  All right, let's get going. Lesson number one, lesson one, diligence beats get
• 1:19
  rich quick schemes. Now I'm gonna say two things.

  The Bible talks about getting wealth hastily, like fast. Okay,
• 1:26
  so even though I'm going to tell you it's like a slow, steady raise,
• 1:30
  I will also share with you that I'm sitting here talking to you,
• 1:33
  coming from a perspective where we were obedient to God.
• 1:37
  I believed God. I simply put a request out there and money came to us instantly.
• 1:41
  And it didn't come from the ministry.
• 1:43
  It didn't come from a job. It came radically and supernaturally. And I'm telling you.
• 1:48
  Just ask God for the desires of your heart, and you'll be shocked what can happen. Trust me.
• 1:53
  And the Bible says that the blessing of the Lord makes you rich without painful toil.
• 1:57
  So there is this possibility where if you're just obedient to God,
• 2:01
  he can open up the floodgates of money.
• 2:03
  You didn't know where it came from. You don't know how it got there, but it came. Amen.

  All right. So diligence beats the get-rich-quick scheme.
• 2:10
  So Proverbs 10.4, Proverbs 13.11, hard work and steadiness saving beats hasty
• 2:16
  riches every time. There are ties to side hustles or consistent investing in today's economy.
• 2:22
  But if you will just be diligent, the Bible says that the diligent heart will be made rich.
• 2:28
  And so I don't know what it is that God's called you to do. But if you'll just
• 2:32
  be steady, there's blessing in that.
• 2:34
  Lazy hands make for poverty, but a diligent hand brings wealth.
• 2:38
  And so what the Bible is saying is that, you know, you do have to work.
• 2:42
  You have to work and you have to find a way to create income.
• 2:45
  God will give you something to put your hands to. There's a lot of people and
• 2:48
  they're like, well, I tithe and it's not working.
• 2:50
  Or I gave and it's not working. Or I'm believing and it's not working.
• 2:53
  Well, you can't just only believe.
• 2:54
  You have to put your hand to something. You have to find something that can actually make money.
• 2:58
  And I know this seems like this is a goofy thing, Lisa, but you'd be surprised
• 3:01
  how many people are like, I'm praying, I'm believing. And you're like, do you have a job? No.
• 3:05
  Do you do you tithe? No. Well, you can pray and believe all you want,
• 3:09
  but there are certain Bible principles. And if you don't do them,
• 3:11
  money's not going to come.
• 3:12
  So you got to put them into action. The Bible says everything you set your hands to will prosper.
• 3:18
  So you got to put your hand to something. Put your hand to something,
• 3:21
  either write a book or get a job or do something. Now, listen to me.
• 3:25
  The job isn't your source.
• 3:26
  The job might only pay you $20 an hour. But what you're showing God is I'm willing to be diligent.
• 3:31
  I'm willing to work. And then the money can come from other sources.
• 3:34
  So the job doesn't determine your wealth.
• 3:37
  Your giving does, and your obedience to God does. All right?
• 3:40
  So the tithing test, Malachi 3.10, honor God first and watch the windows of heaven open.
• 3:47
  I'm telling you that it's controversial to talk about the tithe,
• 3:52
  but in Malachi 3, God says, prove me now, says the Lord of hosts,
• 3:55
  if I'll not open up the windows of heaven and pour out such a blessing that
• 3:59
  there's not room enough to receive it.

  And when you do that and then it
• 4:04
  said but you've robbed me says the lord how have we robbed you in tithes and
• 4:07
  offerings and so he's telling you to give and
• 4:09
  a lot of christians you'll ask him like you know are you
• 4:12
  believing god for money yes do you tithe and they say no
• 4:15
  i don't believe it well you cannot believe it all you want but i'm telling you
• 4:18
  i'm sitting in this chair and i'm a tither and i have
• 4:20
  been and god has opened up multiple things for
• 4:23
  us financially he's helped us with beautiful vacations we never
• 4:26
  dreamed we could go on um he gave us this house that
• 4:29
  we're in i'm just telling you god is faithful so if you'll tithe what's tithe
• 4:33
  it's 10 of your income to your church to your local church or a ministry that
• 4:38
  helps you if this ministry helps you you can go to preach at lisa.com and you

  can tithe there if this broadcast um blesses you you can sow a seed but get

  your money in the kingdom of god.

  The Bible says in Malachi 3.10, Proof me, if I'll not open up the windows of
• 4:54
  heaven and pour out such a blessing, there won't be room enough to receive it.

  Hack number three, generosity multiplies wealth.

  Luke 6.38, given it'll be given to you, good measure pressed down,
• 5:07
  shaken together and running over. With the same measure you meet, it'll be measured back.

  So God is saying when you give, when you're generous, the generous soul will be made rich.
• 5:16
  The Bible says there's one that withholds, yet it leads to poverty.
• 5:19
  So it's so weird how the Bible, the Bible works backwards.
• 5:22
  You know, sometimes you're like, it's mine, it's mine, I'm keeping it, it's mine.
• 5:26
  Well, you can do that and you're gonna lose out because the Bible way to get
• 5:30
  wealthy is to be generous. You know, the other day I was,
• 5:33
  And I normally wouldn't tell people this, but for the sake of teaching, I'm going to tell you.
• 5:36
  But the other day I was leaving a grocery store and I had prayed for the man's
• 5:40
  arm and he was talking about they let him work here because,
• 5:43
  you know, he could still work and make some money.
• 5:46
  And I prayed for him, believed God to heal him. And I walked out.
• 5:49
  Well, as I'm walking, I felt like the Lord spoke to me and he's like,
• 5:51
  is that all you got? And I'm like, what are you talking about?
• 5:53
  And I knew I was supposed to get money. So I turned right around.
• 5:57
  I gave him money and told him I wanted to bless him. And he said to me, thank you so much.
• 6:01
  I was down to my last $7. Now, I didn't know that, but the Lord knew that.
• 6:05
  Well, when you're generous, then God will be generous to you.
• 6:08
  And I know that God is faithful and that money will come back probably seven times over.
• 6:12
  So the Bible says that when you give, it'll be given back to you.
• 6:18
  Good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.
• 6:22
  So don't be afraid to be generous. God is a generous God. The Bible said,
• 6:26
  for God so loved the world, he gave his only son.
• 6:29
  He gave the very best that he had. You're just giving money.
• 6:33
  That's like a small thing. That's like nothing compared to what God did.
• 6:36
  But if you'll do that, it literally will open the floodgates of God's blessing.
• 6:41
  I've lived it. I've proved it. I know sometimes you think, well,
• 6:44
  I don't really believe that. Well, okay.
• 6:46
  But I'm telling you, I've done it. I've lived it. I've walked it out and it works.
• 6:51
  So when you obey God, you can never go wrong obeying God.
• 6:55
  And it's important to tithe. All right, let's talk about a debt trap.
• 7:00
  Debt. Debt. The Bible says that the borrower is slave to the lender.
• 7:07
  In Romans. Let's look up. Let's see. Proverbs 22, 7. Let's look up that Bible verse.
• 7:12
  The rich rule over the poor and the borrower is slave to the lender.
• 7:16
  That's not good. The rich rule over the poor and the borrower is slave to the
• 7:21
  lender. You know, it reminds me, this preacher told a story.
• 7:23
  It's pretty awful, to be honest.
• 7:24
  But this preacher told a story of another preacher, and he was really sick,
• 7:27
  and he wanted to do natural healing like he didn't want to go through chemo. He had cancer.
• 7:31
  He didn't want to go through chemo and all that stuff.
• 7:34
  And so he told he was going to go through natural stuff.
• 7:37
  But the bank, the bank, okay, who owns his church, said to him,
• 7:40
  listen, you're the only loan holder on this building, and you owe us money.
• 7:46
  So we're not going to let you take natural treatment. You need to go get chemo.
• 7:49
  We need to keep you alive. Like they didn't think the natural treatment would work.
• 7:53
  And so because he owed the bank money, they were able to dictate what treatment he got.
• 7:59
  Now, I know that sounds unlikely, but But it's true per Scripture,
• 8:02
  because the Bible says that the rich, the borrower, is slave to the lender.
• 8:07
  And so you don't want to be that. Debt is a trap.
• 8:11
  So, you know, you need to believe. I know that we don't live in a day and an
• 8:14
  age where you think you can get, you can believe God for cash for your house or, but you can.
• 8:19
  I'm telling you, if the Bible says you can do it, you can do it.
• 8:22
  So you want to start early and believe God. Father, I thank you that when it's
• 8:25
  time for me to buy a house, I can pay cash.
• 8:27
  God, I thank you I can pay cash for my car.
• 8:30
  Father, I thank you. So as much as possible, don't take out loans.
• 8:33
  As much as possible, trust God. You know, I know a preacher,
• 8:36
  he got one church, then another church, and he didn't pay for any.
• 8:40
  God just kept giving it to him. And so I'm telling you, it's possible.
• 8:44
  I'm telling you that it's possible to be blessed without debt. Okay, it's possible.
• 8:51
  Debt is a trap. It is a wicked, evil, horrible trap, because you know how they
• 8:56
  do it. They compound interest and stuff like that.
• 8:58
  And you can't get wealthy when you're constantly paying off debt,
• 9:02
  paying off high interest credit cards and stuff. It's like loan sharks.
• 9:05
  Some of these credit card companies, they're like loan sharks.
• 9:09
  It's bad. And so you don't want any part of that. All right, let's look.
• 9:13
  Let no debt remain outstanding except the continuing debt to love one another.
• 9:17
  For whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. So God is not a debt God.
• 9:21
  You know, they used to have this thing called the year of jubilee and every
• 9:23
  seven years, the whole debts would be paid off.
• 9:26
  So God wants to bless you. He does not want debt hanging over your head and
• 9:30
  the borrower is slave to the lender.
• 9:32
  There you go. So you don't want that. You want God to bless you supernaturally
• 9:35
  and radically. All right.
• 9:37
  And the last hack I'm going to give you today is that God gives you the power to create wealth.
• 9:41
  This is like one of the best ones. And I'm also going to talk to you about the
• 9:44
  blessing real quick at the end.
• 9:46
  But and this thing that I was shocked to find in the word of God. But.
• 9:51
  You will receive power to get wealth in Deuteronomy 8, 18, for you'll remember
• 9:56
  the Lord your God, for it's he that gives you power to get wealth.
• 9:59
  You know, a lot of people say money is wicked. Well, if money is wicked,
• 10:02
  why does God give you power to get it?
• 10:05
  Why does God say in Genesis that the gold is good?
• 10:08
  Why does God say that all the gold and the silver belongs to me?
• 10:11
  Because money is not bad.
• 10:13
  It's just the motivation behind it. And so in Deuteronomy, we see that it clearly
• 10:18
  says, God gives you power to create wealth.
• 10:20
  So he might not rain down money, but he gives you an idea. He gives you a business
• 10:24
  idea. And how do you get that?
• 10:26
  Well, you should ask him for it. I'm not saying don't ask, but you don't get it just by asking.
• 10:31
  The Bible says the willing and obedient eat the good of the land.
• 10:35
  The Bible said that meditate on my word day and night, then you'll make your way prosperous.
• 10:39
  So as you seek God, as you love him, as you do what he tells you to do,
• 10:43
  he will open up the hidden treasures.
• 10:45
  He'll say to you, hey, go like I know a preacher and God told him,
• 10:49
  go buy that land. And it looked like swampland.
• 10:51
  It looked like nothing. It looked like garbage, but he bought it.
• 10:53
  And a few years later, guess what they found? A natural gas farm on it.
• 10:57
  So it's stuff like that. And there was another movie I saw.
• 11:00
  Sweet girl bought a piece of land. It looked worthless, but she kept feeling
• 11:03
  like God told her there was oil on it. And sure enough, they struck oil.
• 11:07
  So that's the kind of stuff I'm talking about. But that wouldn't happen if she
• 11:10
  didn't obey God, you have to listen for the voice of God, do what he says,
• 11:14
  and then the blessing of the Lord can come upon you when you least expect it. All right.
• 11:21
  So hack one diligence beats the get rich quick screams all the time.
• 11:25
  Tithing is a test for God's overflow.
• 11:29
  Generosity multiplies wealth.
• 11:33
  Debt is a trap, and God gives you the power to create wealth.
• 11:38
  So I hope that these little hacks helped you today.

  So I have studied the Bible, and I've read this verse a million times.

  Well, that's probably an exaggeration, but I've read it a lot.

  So in Genesis 12, it talks about the blessing of Abraham.
• 11:57
  And God says, I will bless you, I will make your name great,
• 12:01
  and you'll be a blessing. You know, all this stuff, let me read it to you out loud.

  I'll read it to you, Genesis 12, and then look at Genesis 13. All right.
• 12:08
  This is known as the blessing of Abraham, and it's also listed in Galatians
• 12:12
  where it says the blessing would come on the Gentiles.
• 12:14
  The Lord said to Abram, go from your country and your people and your father's
• 12:18
  house to a land I will show you.
• 12:21
  I will make you a great nation. I will bless you. I'll make your name great,
• 12:25
  and you'll be a blessing.
• 12:26
  I'll bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse and all
• 12:30
  the people of the earth will be blessed. All right.
• 12:32
  This part that says, I'll make you a great nation. I will bless you.
• 12:36
  So a lot of people say God will give you money if he can just get it through
• 12:39
  you. But it really doesn't say that. It actually just says, I will bless you.
• 12:43
  And I've known all along that God loves you so much that he's just a good father.
• 12:47
  He just loves you and wants to bless you.
• 12:49
  Now, the reason you bless other people is because you love God and you want
• 12:53
  to bless someone else because you're so thankful for what he did.
• 12:56
  But here's the thing that tripped me up today.
• 12:58
  And i never knew this did you know that
• 13:02
  the word blessing in the
• 13:05
  scriptures let me see if i can find it on my phone it is is
• 13:08
  barak b-e-r-e-k or b-a-r-a-k
• 13:12
  that's what it is b-a-r-a-k it's blessing okay
• 13:15
  so when the lord says i will bless you the
• 13:19
  root connection is actually knee or kneeling
• 13:22
  now this trips me out i
• 13:26
  mean really bad so it comes from the same word
• 13:29
  greek and hebrew word as to kneel and
• 13:33
  so what it means is basically it's like an honor thing or whatever and so kneeling
• 13:39
  is like a response or humility or an openness so basically what it's saying
• 13:44
  is that when god barracks a person, like in Genesis 12, 2.
• 13:50
  God himself kneels down, so to speak.
• 13:53
  He stoops down from his high place towards us in love and pours out his favor,
• 13:59
  his goodness, his protection.
• 14:02
  I have read this verse a multitude of times, and I have never seen that.
• 14:07
  Now, I don't think I'm doing it justice right now to you, but what I'm trying
• 14:11
  to say is like, if you've ever seen a parent, you know, and they get down on
• 14:13
  their kid's level and they kneel to their kid and they kind of like hug them or bless them.
• 14:19
  I really believe in my heart that what God's saying is that when you do what
• 14:23
  he asks you to do, it's like a kiss from heaven. He comes down,
• 14:27
  he extends his hands out to you, and he says, I'm going to let my favor pour out over you.
• 14:32
  My blessing is going to come upon you, my favor.
• 14:35
  And I believe there is, let me look it up, a Bible verse that says that God's
• 14:41
  doing it so that the heathen can see it.
• 14:44
  Deuteronomy 28.10, Then all the people of the earth shall see that you are called
• 14:49
  by my name, and they'll be afraid of you. Well, why is that?
• 14:54
  Why are they going to be afraid? Let's look at Deuteronomy 28, shall we?
• 14:58
  Your basket and your kneading will be blessed. You will be blessed when you
• 15:01
  come in and blessed when you come out.
• 15:02
  The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated.
• 15:06
  They will come at you one direction and flee seven.
• 15:09
  The Lord will send blessing on your barns and everything you put your hands
• 15:13
  to. The Lord God will bless you.
• 15:15
  The Lord will establish you as his holy people. If you keep the commandments
• 15:19
  of the Lord God and walk in obedience, then all the people of the earth will
• 15:24
  see that you are called by the name of the Lord and they will fear you.
• 15:30
  The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your womb,
• 15:35
  the young of your livestock, your crops of your ground and the land.
• 15:39
  And the Lord will reopen the heavens and the stars.
• 15:41
  So God is saying you're going to have a blessing so great that people are going
• 15:45
  to see it and that they're going to know that you serve a good God.
• 15:48
  And I wish I could get all that's in my heart out to you now,
• 15:52
  but I just want to tell you, these are Bible hacks to make you rich,
• 15:55
  that if you tithe, if you put your hands to the plow, if you'll obey God,
• 15:59
  if you won't, if you'll try not to borrow as much as possible.
• 16:03
  God will supernaturally, radically bless you.
• 16:06
  And I want to get your head off of your job.
• 16:09
  Maybe you work a job that's $25 an hour, but maybe God tells you,
• 16:13
  hey, I want you to go and pray for this person. And you do.
• 16:15
  And the next day you get a check in the mail from some company that said,
• 16:18
  Hey, we realized that you overpaid. Here's 500 bucks.
• 16:22
  That's the kind of stuff I'm talking about. That's the kind of things that can
• 16:25
  happen when you follow God, that unexpectedly money will come at you from unexpected sources.
• 16:30
