- 8:20Speaker 13: my big sister, whatever label you want to give her,
- 8:24Speaker 13: she's off that end song. So I'm gonna bring her
- 8:27Speaker 13: own up and let her join the conversation where I
- 8:30Speaker 13: go and retrieve. Let me see if I can locate
- 8:33Speaker 13: our other guests, because she's having some technical issues. But
- 8:37Speaker 13: y'all know we don't allow that to stop. So Snette,
- 8:39Speaker 13: if you will please introduce yourselves.
- 8:43Speaker 7: Well, hello everyone, my name is Chanette Johnson.
- 8:46Speaker 14: I am the host of Let's Talk About It, which
- 8:50Speaker 14: airs every first and third Monday of the month, where
- 8:55Speaker 14: we talk about injustice, where we talk to men and
- 8:58Speaker 14: women that have been wrongfully convicted.
- 9:01Speaker 7: We brain light bring everything that's in in the dark
- 9:06Speaker 7: to the light. We have talked to men's from Texas, Denver, California, Mississippi.
- 9:16Speaker 7: We have talked to a lot of men's about the
- 9:21Speaker 7: injustice that's going on in our prison system.
- 9:33Speaker 13: I'm trying to get little end, so I'll introduce myself
- 9:38Speaker 13: for those that do not know who I am. I
- 9:41Speaker 13: don't normally hold a show here on the podcast. I
- 9:45Speaker 13: am the visionary behind the crew podcasts. But every chance
- 9:49Speaker 13: I get to be able to come on and to
- 9:52Speaker 13: be able to share and to imput to end part
- 9:56Speaker 13: and pour into our community, that's what I want to do.
- 9:59Speaker 13: So it is the fifth Wednesday. We do not have
- 10:02Speaker 13: anyone that holds a show on the fifth Wednesday. So
- 10:05Speaker 13: I said, you know what, let's come on and let's
- 10:08Speaker 13: talk about some of the things that's happening in our community.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Little to us having a little trouble getting on.
- 10:15Speaker 13: I tell you, when there's something that we are are
- 10:18Speaker 13: passionate about and we want to share, it's always something
- 10:22Speaker 13: that tries to hinder us, something that tries to hold
- 10:26Speaker 13: us back. If I have to call her and get
- 10:28Speaker 13: her own through audio, That's what we're gonna do tonight,
- 10:32Speaker 13: because I really want her to be a part of this.
- 10:35Speaker 13: I want her to be able to share in what's
- 10:38Speaker 13: going on in this community. So let me see if
- 10:42Speaker 13: I can get her own. But for those that do
- 10:44Speaker 13: not know who I am, I am the visionary of
- 10:47Speaker 13: the Coup Podcast. I'm the visionary of Aspiring Author's Magazine.
- 10:51Speaker 13: I'm the founder of aa l a C, which is
- 10:53Speaker 13: the African American Author Literacy Awareness Campaign. Have a couple
- 10:57Speaker 13: other platforms that I do. I am one of the
- 11:00Speaker 13: host over on the wbn N network over with Beverly Nations.
- 11:06Speaker 13: I was just over there on this past Friday, so
- 11:09Speaker 13: I'll be back over there in four weeks. But I
- 11:12Speaker 13: have been on that network for six years. We have
- 11:15Speaker 13: been here on the Crew podcast for four years, y'all.
- 11:19Speaker 13: February of twenty twenty seven, we will be celebrating our
- 11:25Speaker 13: fifth year on the network. So I am excited about
- 11:29Speaker 13: that coming up. Definitely excited about that coming up. I'm
- 11:33Speaker 13: trying to see if I can get little in here.
- 11:37Speaker 14: Well, you know, I just want to say, well, I'm
- 11:40Speaker 14: not on screen because I am jet lag. I just
- 11:44Speaker 14: got back from Denver. I flew back home just morning and.
- 11:50Speaker 7: I am beat.
- 11:51Speaker 14: While I was over there, I was able to visit
- 11:55Speaker 14: my husband, who is incarcerated wrongfully, and.
- 12:01Speaker 7: See some of the guys that has been on the
- 12:05Speaker 7: show and talk to them. I have talked to some.
- 12:10Speaker 14: I think he came on like the first year that
- 12:14Speaker 14: I was doing that, I started the podcast a my mems.
- 12:20Speaker 14: He was released from Denver State Prison three months ago
- 12:29Speaker 14: and on August fourth, which is next week. Next Tuesday,
- 12:37Speaker 14: we have Rory he served I want to say, almost
- 12:44Speaker 14: forty years in prison.
- 12:49Speaker 7: And he will be a free man next week. We
- 12:55Speaker 7: also have Jeene Gilbert.
- 13:02Speaker 14: He was granted clemency from the Governor of Colorado and
- 13:11Speaker 14: he will be released, I believe next next year. And
- 13:19Speaker 14: for my husband, everything is going well. The Innocent Project
- 13:27Speaker 14: is working dilingy diligyly.
- 13:30Speaker 7: On his behalf.
- 13:32Speaker 14: And you know, when I fly into Denver, I sit
- 13:36Speaker 14: down and I talk to him. They keep me updated
- 13:39Speaker 14: on what is going on in his case. And you know,
- 13:43Speaker 14: we just believe in God. We know them doors will
- 13:47Speaker 14: soon open on his behalf. So yes, I had a
- 13:57Speaker 14: busy week.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Well the enemy be is it right now?
- 14:02Speaker 13: But it's okay because we have little Unique Parker in
- 14:07Speaker 13: the studio via the telephone, so she can join us
- 14:11Speaker 13: for this Queen Sisters round table tonight as we just
- 14:16Speaker 13: touch on some of the things that's affecting our community.
- 14:19Speaker 13: And I wanna thank Chanette for those that really really
- 14:24Speaker 13: cause Shanette ain't gonna always tell everything about her. I
- 14:28Speaker 13: I don't know why we find it so hard to
- 14:30Speaker 13: talk about ourselves. But Scheanette does a lot.
- 14:35Speaker 1: She's a poet.
- 14:37Speaker 13: She won a Poet Award this year. Her p her
- 14:40Speaker 13: poetry has allowed her to just allowed her to heal
- 14:45Speaker 13: through the process of her grief. She does a lot
- 14:50Speaker 13: of advocacy. She not only advocate for those in Colorado,
- 14:56Speaker 13: she advocate for those in Texas.
- 14:58Speaker 1: She has been advocating for a.
- 15:00Speaker 13: Lot of these cases that you see out here, and
- 15:06Speaker 13: we have been affected by some of these cases. I
- 15:09Speaker 13: tell you, it's an honor and a privilege to be
- 15:12Speaker 13: connected to these two queens. They actually share the same birthday,
- 15:17Speaker 13: Shannette and unique. They are my big sisters, even though
- 15:21Speaker 13: I may be I may look like the oldest, but
- 15:25Speaker 13: they are my older sisters by a couple of years.
- 15:30Speaker 15: We're not.
- 15:30Speaker 13: We're not that much difference in age. But I tell you,
- 15:35Speaker 13: it's truly been a journey for us. It seemed like
- 15:39Speaker 13: when we connected, we truly connected. And sometimes I feel
- 15:43Speaker 13: like I've been knowing them all my life. But that's
- 15:46Speaker 13: just a connection. And and and that's when you know
- 15:49Speaker 13: that it is a hey god connection.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Hey here, I see you. So she made it.
- 16:03Speaker 13: She made it in so we're gonna get her own
- 16:05Speaker 13: on this screen, y'all. I'll tell you that we be busy,
- 16:08Speaker 13: but we don't stop. That's one thing about us. We
- 16:11Speaker 13: don't So you have to understand that this is definitely
- 16:18Speaker 13: a connection.
- 16:20Speaker 1: You sid her.
- 16:23Speaker 14: All the way she popped up in here, I was like,
- 16:25Speaker 14: whow you did it?
- 16:28Speaker 1: Right there? What happened? She went offline?
- 16:32Speaker 7: If she done popped up? I was like, whoa, who
- 16:34Speaker 7: is that?
- 16:38Speaker 1: And then she popped off? But hopefully she'll come back
- 16:40Speaker 1: on y'all.
- 16:42Speaker 13: But I tell you, when I tell you we connected,
- 16:45Speaker 13: we connected and it has been truly a divine connection.
- 16:50Speaker 1: You can see in me and Chanette's background. We have
- 16:54Speaker 1: Free Us.
- 16:55Speaker 13: Free Us campaign is what we utilize to advocate. We
- 17:00Speaker 13: advocate A lot of people may not see the stuff
- 17:03Speaker 13: that we do because we don't be all out in
- 17:06Speaker 13: the forefront.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Most of the time.
- 17:09Speaker 13: We work behind the scenes and really try to connect
- 17:12Speaker 13: with those that are behind those prison walls so that
- 17:15Speaker 13: we can really try to help them with the resources.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Need that they can get free and be able to
- 17:25Speaker 1: come out and be on this side. So we be busy.
- 17:29Speaker 1: We be busy.
- 17:30Speaker 13: We got our hands in a lot. But I tell
- 17:32Speaker 13: you it is nothing that God is not ordained. I
- 17:36Speaker 13: try to work unto the Lord. I try to do
- 17:39Speaker 13: the things that He placed in my spirit. So she
- 17:45Speaker 13: not only write poetry. She has been a part of
- 17:48Speaker 13: several of my anthologies where we share. As you know,
- 17:53Speaker 13: most of my work is inspirational. I love to inspire individuals.
- 17:59Speaker 13: We we operate and what I call the E three
- 18:01Speaker 13: experience was it's educating, power and encourage because I feel
- 18:05Speaker 13: like we always have to be in a place where
- 18:07Speaker 13: we're willing to learn. We never stop learning as long
- 18:11Speaker 13: as we are a part of this world. We are
- 18:13Speaker 13: going to keep learning. So it's important that we stay
- 18:17Speaker 13: willing to be educated in power and encourage on this journey.
- 18:23Speaker 13: So the Free US campaign is one of the things
- 18:26Speaker 13: that Snett and I we do together because we advocate.
- 18:31Speaker 1: We also.
- 18:33Speaker 13: Have a section inside of the magazine where we touch
- 18:37Speaker 13: on some of the cases, some of the things that's
- 18:41Speaker 13: going on in the judicial system, whatever we think need
- 18:46Speaker 13: to be talked about. Concerning the judicial system. It's not
- 18:50Speaker 13: always a case. Sometimes it's maybe about a law. It
- 18:54Speaker 13: may be about something that needs to be addressed.
- 18:58Speaker 16: So the def is being But I'm back on here.
- 19:02Speaker 13: Oh yeah, he stay busy because whenever you're doing whenever
- 19:06Speaker 13: you're doing his work, whenever you're doing God's work, the
- 19:10Speaker 13: enemy gonna stay business because that's when he comes. He
- 19:12Speaker 13: come to distract, he come to destroy, and he come
- 19:15Speaker 13: to kill. But we come against that spirit. We come
- 19:19Speaker 13: against every technology, distraction, every everything that comes to stop
- 19:24Speaker 13: us from doing what we need to do today, to
- 19:27Speaker 13: share today. We come against it. Right now the eye
- 19:30Speaker 13: we jumped in. We didn't even pray, but we just
- 19:32Speaker 13: jumped in. But I guess right now might be the
- 19:35Speaker 13: best time to pray.
- 19:37Speaker 1: And bind up that enemy.
- 19:38Speaker 13: So I'm gonna go ahead and pray as we get
- 19:40Speaker 13: ready to go forth on tonight, Father God, in the
- 19:43Speaker 13: name of Jesus, Lord, we thank you for this space.
- 19:45Speaker 13: We thank you for this opportunity. We thank you for
- 19:47Speaker 13: covering us throughout this day. Lord god Father, I thank
- 19:50Speaker 13: you for my sister's Lord God and Father. We asked
- 19:52Speaker 13: that you would decrease us in the flesh and allow
- 19:54Speaker 13: your spirit man to come forth in us tonight, Lord
- 19:57Speaker 13: god Father. A lot of things that we share be
- 19:59Speaker 13: the thing means that you will have us to share
- 20:01Speaker 13: in you. To your people, Lord god Father, allow us
- 20:03Speaker 13: to be able to educate, empower and encourage somebody to
- 20:06Speaker 13: stay on this journey we call life, Lord god Father,
- 20:09Speaker 13: we know that test, trials and tribulations are gonna come,
- 20:11Speaker 13: Lord God. But Father, we know that you are a
- 20:13Speaker 13: weight maker. We know that you are a provider. We
- 20:16Speaker 13: know that you've already and made our way, Lord God.
- 20:18Speaker 13: We know that you sit high and you look low.
- 20:19Speaker 13: Lord God, So Father, we thank you right now, Father,
- 20:22Speaker 13: have your way on the show tonight, Lord god Father.
- 20:25Speaker 1: We bind up every technology distraction.
- 20:28Speaker 13: We bind up anything that may be in the airwaves,
- 20:30Speaker 13: we bind up anything that may be in the internet waves.
- 20:33Speaker 13: Lord God Father, we casting now to the pits of hell,
- 20:36Speaker 13: Lord God, anything that come to distract us on tonight,
- 20:39Speaker 13: Lord God and Father, we loose your your peace, your connection.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Lord God and Father.
- 20:45Speaker 13: We asked that you will just have your way on tonight,
- 20:47Speaker 13: Lord God, have your way and your son Jesus name.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I pray, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.
- 20:54Speaker 15: I need to praise the first time that I've ever
- 20:59Speaker 15: been able to connect with y'all. Every time I try
- 21:02Speaker 15: to get on seem like the enemy try to kick
- 21:05Speaker 15: me out. But I just said, Lord, I'm gonna keep praying.
- 21:08Speaker 15: I'm gonna get on here tonight with them, and we're
- 21:10Speaker 15: gonna have a Sunday. Go get mean tonight on him.
- 21:14Speaker 15: We're gonna have a good.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Time, okay.
- 21:17Speaker 13: But that that that be the enemy, and he always
- 21:20Speaker 13: come in the midst to try to distract us and
- 21:23Speaker 13: and and to keep us in bondage. But like I say,
- 21:25Speaker 13: we come against that spirit. We we we we speak unity,
- 21:29Speaker 13: we speak we speak compassion, empathy and and empathy around
- 21:35Speaker 13: here because we we got love in the air. So
- 21:40Speaker 13: as I was telling Schanet earlier, when I when I
- 21:44Speaker 13: called and realized that we didn't have a show tonight.
- 21:48Speaker 13: It is the fifth Wednesday, and we don't have a
- 21:51Speaker 13: dedicated host to come on. I said, well, let's do
- 21:55Speaker 13: a show. And as I as as I contacted you
- 21:59Speaker 13: guys and and started to get ready for it, the
- 22:03Speaker 13: Lord dropped in my spirit the Queen's Sisters round Table
- 22:07Speaker 13: that that was the name of the show, because we
- 22:11Speaker 13: are definitely Queen's and we are definitely sisters, and this
- 22:14Speaker 13: is an opportunity for us to talk about whatever is
- 22:17Speaker 13: laid in my heart, in our hearts. What was laid
- 22:20Speaker 13: in my heart was to talk about some of those
- 22:23Speaker 13: things that are happening within our black and brown communities,
- 22:26Speaker 13: that it's affecting our children. That that was one of
- 22:29Speaker 13: the things that was laid in my heart. And talking
- 22:33Speaker 13: about division. I want to get back to that village mentality.
- 22:40Speaker 1: It has been lost. It has been lost, and we
- 22:44Speaker 1: need to get back to that. We need to get
- 22:46Speaker 1: back to family.
- 22:48Speaker 13: We need to and not just blood because when a
- 22:51Speaker 13: lot of people do family, they think about blood relatives.
- 22:54Speaker 13: But that does not make you family. Family or here
- 23:00Speaker 13: those that love, those that have compassionate, those that have
- 23:03Speaker 13: humility and empathy.
- 23:05Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna go around.
- 23:08Speaker 13: I want you to introduce yourself, Little Unique Parker, if
- 23:12Speaker 13: you would introduce your self, tell everybody a little bit
- 23:15Speaker 13: about you.
- 23:17Speaker 16: Well, my name is Little Unique Parker.
- 23:21Speaker 15: I'm in the medical field, and I am a author
- 23:25Speaker 15: co author, and I am part of your books queen.
- 23:32Speaker 15: I'm part of everybody on this platform wearing books together,
- 23:36Speaker 15: and I really enjoy everything that we do as a
- 23:40Speaker 15: whole to touch. I'm on WBN in Communication as a host.
- 23:46Speaker 15: I am the commissioner of that broadcast, and it's just
- 23:51Speaker 15: a privilege to be able to come on here tonight
- 23:54Speaker 15: to just break bread with y'all and hope that this
- 23:58Speaker 15: won't be my last time on here.
- 24:00Speaker 16: And I can have a voice on your platform as well.
- 24:05Speaker 13: Of course, of course, anytime that we have an opportunity,
- 24:09Speaker 13: y'all know, I don't normally host the show, but every
- 24:12Speaker 13: time that there's an open space, I try to fill
- 24:15Speaker 13: in because I don't like to put too much on
- 24:18Speaker 13: my host I want them to be able to, you.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Know, handle their shows.
- 24:23Speaker 13: If they want the extra shows, I definitely would give
- 24:25Speaker 13: it to them, but I don't want to put more
- 24:27Speaker 13: on them because a lot of them are already doing
- 24:30Speaker 13: a lot because they have their own brands, they have
- 24:34Speaker 13: their own platforms. They just have a lot going on,
- 24:37Speaker 13: and I just want to make sure that I'm supporting
- 24:39Speaker 13: them and making sure I'm not overwhelming them.
- 24:43Speaker 1: So I leave it up to them.
- 24:45Speaker 13: But anytime there's an open slot, y'all can see, y'all
- 24:49Speaker 13: know I'm gonna be right here to share. Tonight, we're
- 24:52Speaker 13: gonna talk about some of these cases that some of
- 24:54Speaker 13: you guys probably have seen across the national news had
- 25:00Speaker 13: the Carmelo Anthony's case. We know that Carmelo was convicted
- 25:06Speaker 13: and was given thirty five years, but we know that
- 25:09Speaker 13: there has been a lot of corruption involved in that case.
- 25:11Speaker 13: So we are looking forward to August the nineteenth and
- 25:16Speaker 13: August the twenties.
- 25:17Speaker 1: We're looking forward to Judge.
- 25:20Speaker 13: Roach cock Roach being accused from that case, and we
- 25:26Speaker 13: are looking forward to Carmelo getting a second chance, getting
- 25:32Speaker 13: a retrial. We're definitely looking forward to that so that
- 25:38Speaker 13: the truth can be told and hopefully Carmelo will get
- 25:42Speaker 13: an opportunity to tell his side of what happened. Because
- 25:46Speaker 13: through it all, one thing we didn't do is we
- 25:48Speaker 13: never heard from Carmelo. We never heard Melo from day one,
- 25:55Speaker 13: but all we heard was lies about him and his
- 25:59Speaker 13: face family. But now the twoth Is story come out
- 26:03Speaker 13: and we're starting to see a whole lot. So I
- 26:05Speaker 13: can't wait till that take place. And then we get
- 26:09Speaker 13: the Nolan Wells case that hit on July the fourth.
- 26:15Speaker 13: But before Nolan Wells, there was a case back in April,
- 26:21Speaker 13: actually two cases back in April that never hit the
- 26:25Speaker 13: national media. We have Kaliah Simmons out of Aken, South Carolina.
- 26:32Speaker 13: He was shot five times by two yt kids.
- 26:37Speaker 1: One was.
- 26:39Speaker 13: Was arrested and charged as an adult, the other one
- 26:42Speaker 13: was charged as a juvenile, and there was also two
- 26:44Speaker 13: parents involved in trying to cover up. So we are
- 26:50Speaker 13: definitely trying to get people aware of that case and
- 26:53Speaker 13: what's going on with that case so that they can
- 26:56Speaker 13: share it out so that Kaliah Simmons family can get
- 27:00Speaker 13: justice for him. Because he was only seventeen years old,
- 27:04Speaker 13: he was getting ready to graduate early. He had been
- 27:07Speaker 13: accepted into an engineering program at Duke University, and he
- 27:11Speaker 13: just had a whole life ahead of him, a procerous
- 27:16Speaker 13: life ahead of him, and it's just sad that these
- 27:20Speaker 13: people are targeting our kids. Our kids that have a
- 27:25Speaker 13: future that has things going for them, and they're trying
- 27:29Speaker 13: to incarcerate them or they just straight out murdering them
- 27:33Speaker 13: because we see.
- 27:34Speaker 16: What happened and they have no remorse about it.
- 27:38Speaker 15: Right here, it's a lot of stuff that's going on
- 27:41Speaker 15: right here in Texas around the Metroplex.
- 27:44Speaker 16: And no, it's a young man that.
- 27:48Speaker 15: This white chick that he was dating, he moved to Cleveland, Texas,
- 27:54Speaker 15: and she called to police and now they kept him
- 28:00Speaker 15: in jail for over a month and now the white
- 28:03Speaker 15: cop is saying that he.
- 28:06Speaker 16: Did something to her. Now they're trying to get him
- 28:09Speaker 16: fifteen years.
- 28:10Speaker 15: You've seen it on my I posted on my Facebook
- 28:13Speaker 15: page that young man haven't done anything. He called the
- 28:17Speaker 15: cops and told them to let him go back to
- 28:21Speaker 15: foot Worth and they didn't. They're they're trying to get
- 28:24Speaker 15: him trying sent to TDC for something he didn't even do.
- 28:28Speaker 16: So they're trying to raise money now to get him
- 28:30Speaker 16: out of jail, and that's.
- 28:32Speaker 13: What they do, and they don't they see. See, this
- 28:37Speaker 13: is the thing that's bothering me is these people, these
- 28:41Speaker 13: these these other people, not us, but but these other people.
- 28:45Speaker 13: They they are so quick to say that something is
- 28:49Speaker 13: not racism. But when you look at I mean, why
- 28:52Speaker 13: else would why else would our people be unlive and
- 28:58Speaker 13: killed and murdered, and no one is arrested. But as
- 29:02Speaker 13: soon as they don't care who they arrest, they arrest
- 29:06Speaker 13: the wrong person, as long as they got somebody in custody.
- 29:10Speaker 13: If it's it's if the shoe is on the other foot.
- 29:13Speaker 13: We've seen it too many times. There's too many people
- 29:16Speaker 13: right now inside of the prison system that have been
- 29:19Speaker 13: wrongfully and overly incarcerated, and even after they are proven innocent,
- 29:23Speaker 13: they still have a hard time trying to get out,
- 29:27Speaker 13: trying to give them their laws back, trying to apply
- 29:30Speaker 13: their laws back to them. They give them a hard
- 29:33Speaker 13: time trying to get out after you have wrongfully and
- 29:36Speaker 13: overly incarcerated them.
- 29:39Speaker 7: Right exactly, you know, you know, and I'll be I
- 29:45Speaker 7: was when I was in Denver, this man.
- 29:48Speaker 14: I had run into this man and we was talking,
- 29:51Speaker 14: and so he he said, so you telling me that
- 29:56Speaker 14: somebody can accuse me and I can go to jail
- 29:59Speaker 14: and do time. I said, yeah, I said yes, they yes,
- 30:03Speaker 14: they can. I said, just google it. I said, you
- 30:07Speaker 14: can google to see the wrongful convictions. I said, these
- 30:13Speaker 14: men and women do not know each other, but they
- 30:16Speaker 14: all say the same thing.
- 30:19Speaker 7: Right, Oh, I don't believe that's true.
- 30:20Speaker 14: I don't believe that's true. Well, let me tell you something.
- 30:24Speaker 14: When that happened to you are someone in your family,
- 30:28Speaker 14: then that's then you're gonna believe. That's gonna make you
- 30:31Speaker 14: a believer. A lot of people don't want to believe
- 30:34Speaker 14: it that you know that this can happen, but it
- 30:38Speaker 14: can happen because a lot of.
- 30:41Speaker 13: People also don't want to believe that. These people have
- 30:45Speaker 13: contracts with the private prisms and they have a quota
- 30:50Speaker 13: that they have to keep up, like they got to
- 30:52Speaker 13: feel so many bits.
- 30:54Speaker 1: So these people are making laws and they're making stuff.
- 30:57Speaker 13: Of course, we know that these laws never are made
- 31:00Speaker 13: for us, but when we find a way to make
- 31:04Speaker 13: these laws benefit us and to work for us, then
- 31:07Speaker 13: it's a problem. They're gonna do everything in their power,
- 31:10Speaker 13: even when it comes down to them doing illegal stuff.
- 31:14Speaker 13: Some of them people don't care what they do. And
- 31:16Speaker 13: we saw that with the Camelo Anthony's case. We saw
- 31:20Speaker 13: that we saw so many things that were so illegal
- 31:24Speaker 13: to it just it didn't make no sense. But I'm
- 31:27Speaker 13: so glad that people did not give up on him,
- 31:31Speaker 13: that people believed in him, They believed in the truth,
- 31:34Speaker 13: and they wanted to see the truth come forward.
- 31:36Speaker 1: And that's what we're gonna have.
- 31:38Speaker 13: We're gonna have to continue to stand as black people
- 31:41Speaker 13: and as a family. We're gonna have to stay connected.
- 31:44Speaker 13: We can't be divided, because when we're divided, that's when
- 31:47Speaker 13: they try to come against us.
- 31:49Speaker 16: That's correct, That's correct.
- 31:52Speaker 14: That's when they try to come against us, you know.
- 31:55Speaker 14: And I don't care what ethnic group you are in.
- 32:03Speaker 14: When you know what, I try to stay off social media,
- 32:07Speaker 14: especially since.
- 32:10Speaker 7: No that happened to No. No, hopefully I'm saying his
- 32:16Speaker 7: name right.
- 32:19Speaker 14: And when I look at the comments and I see
- 32:22Speaker 14: these laughing emojis.
- 32:25Speaker 7: They don't care what's what's what's so what's so funny?
- 32:30Speaker 15: Because they don't care which which it was a guy
- 32:35Speaker 15: here in Richardson he posted and he did live where
- 32:41Speaker 15: he said that right now, it's uh something that the
- 32:48Speaker 15: whites are colin hunting, they're targeting blacks.
- 32:55Speaker 1: It's purg that's what they said.
- 32:58Speaker 13: One of those supremacy group. They did a live A
- 33:03Speaker 13: young guy I think he was about twenty two years old.
- 33:05Speaker 13: He did alive and he said it, you know, and
- 33:11Speaker 13: if you look at what's happening, you you can believe
- 33:14Speaker 13: that because that is what's happening. And you you look,
- 33:18Speaker 13: you got young lady home in North Carolina, young lady
- 33:24Speaker 13: home in Miami. And then not to mention the hangings
- 33:30Speaker 13: that we've had, we talk about the things that have
- 33:33Speaker 13: happened in twenty twenty six. We ain't even gonna go
- 33:36Speaker 13: back to twenty five, twenty four, twenty three, twenty two,
- 33:40Speaker 13: twenty We ain't going all the way back that we're
- 33:42Speaker 13: just talking about in twenty twenty six alone. We ain't
- 33:45Speaker 13: even we ain't even in the eighth month.
- 33:48Speaker 16: And so many whole bunch of stuff going out being unlive.
- 33:53Speaker 13: They've been murdered, they they have been wrongfully overly incarcerated,
- 34:00Speaker 13: Like it just don't make no sense.
- 34:03Speaker 7: And then you know, also, but what really what gets
- 34:08Speaker 7: me is when you say, well, where is the father?
- 34:13Speaker 7: You the parents? That's bad parenting.
- 34:16Speaker 14: So when it comes to the African American, are the
- 34:21Speaker 14: black people the people of color, we're bad parents. But
- 34:27Speaker 14: other ethnic groups they're not bad parents. You know, I
- 34:32Speaker 14: don't get that because in every ethnic group, you have
- 34:37Speaker 14: someone that committed murder, that are sexual assaulted a woman,
- 34:43Speaker 14: a child. They don't dealt drugs, ain no ethnic group
- 34:50Speaker 14: better than the next.
- 34:53Speaker 16: One, but they try to tonish the blacks right off
- 34:57Speaker 16: the back.
- 34:58Speaker 15: And it's more stuff happening and other cultures than it
- 35:02Speaker 15: is just in the black community. Black community don't do
- 35:06Speaker 15: twice as much as what the other echnic group's doing.
- 35:10Speaker 16: They love to.
- 35:12Speaker 13: Use that thirteen to fifty at thirteen that thirteen percent
- 35:16Speaker 13: fifty percent, They love to use that, but they don't
- 35:18Speaker 13: if they really look at the statistics. Now, those are
- 35:21Speaker 13: not the statistics anymore, because if you look at like
- 35:24Speaker 13: Channette said, there is if you look at every group,
- 35:29Speaker 13: there is white on white crime, there's agent on Asian crime,
- 35:33Speaker 13: there's Mexican on Mexican crime. I mean, you got to
- 35:36Speaker 13: look at the communities. But they only targeted our community.
- 35:40Speaker 13: It's because that's what they want to be in the spotlight.
- 35:43Speaker 13: That's what they want to put out there. That's the
- 35:46Speaker 13: propaganda that they want to put out there to make
- 35:49Speaker 13: us look bad. Why because we are the most powerful
- 35:52Speaker 13: people in this universe. And when we realize that, when
- 35:56Speaker 13: we realize that, man, do you know how powerful we
- 35:59Speaker 13: can be. Everything that we have done in the past,
- 36:03Speaker 13: people don't want to accept the fact that we built
- 36:06Speaker 13: this world, everything that has been invented. If you go
- 36:11Speaker 13: and research the inventions, I can guarantee you eighty five
- 36:15Speaker 13: percent of the inventions were done by black people. We
- 36:17Speaker 13: wouldn't be sitting here on this computer if it had
- 36:19Speaker 13: not that. What his name, Bill Gates. He may be
- 36:22Speaker 13: the one with all the stock in it, but he
- 36:24Speaker 13: did not create this. There was a black person that
- 36:27Speaker 13: created this. There's a black person in GPS. There's a
- 36:30Speaker 13: black person that did the cell phone. Eighty five percent
- 36:33Speaker 13: of the stuff that was created and invented was invented
- 36:37Speaker 13: by a melanated person.
- 36:39Speaker 16: I know that family right here in Fort Worth.
- 36:43Speaker 15: They don't eat or in sausage because their grandfather was
- 36:47Speaker 15: the one who patented.
- 36:49Speaker 16: But it was a white man here said that he
- 36:52Speaker 16: was just gonna sell it in his stores, but then.
- 36:56Speaker 15: He ended up taking it the patent from him, and
- 37:00Speaker 15: now the family is just outrage behind. Look how many
- 37:04Speaker 15: years ago that's been and when it was first the
- 37:07Speaker 15: sausage first came out, But that black man, their great
- 37:11Speaker 15: grandfather didn't even get credit for it.
- 37:15Speaker 1: That's what they do. That's what they do.
- 37:19Speaker 14: They like you know, when you're sitting at the stop sign, think,
- 37:24Speaker 14: think that person of color that created the stop sign
- 37:30Speaker 14: the traffic.
- 37:32Speaker 7: You know, I mean, And that's why they're trying to
- 37:40Speaker 7: pull all all of the blacks accomplishments out of the
- 37:45Speaker 7: get rid of it. Don't want nobody.
- 37:48Speaker 14: To know what what we contribute, what our ancestors contributed
- 37:53Speaker 14: to to make this country great, because it was great
- 37:58Speaker 14: once upon a time. I don't I see no, I
- 38:06Speaker 14: don't see no greatness in it. I see a lot
- 38:09Speaker 14: of hate. It's a lot of hate. And and I
- 38:13Speaker 14: want to say this.
- 38:17Speaker 7: For you, you guys that call yourself.
- 38:21Speaker 14: Lovers of God, that you love God so much and
- 38:25Speaker 14: you sit in church and you worship him and stuff.
- 38:28Speaker 7: You guys better stop playing.
- 38:31Speaker 16: It's correct.
- 38:32Speaker 14: Stop playing, because the Bible says God is not God
- 38:38Speaker 14: is love.
- 38:39Speaker 16: He's not hate.
- 38:44Speaker 7: And then also said, how can you love me but
- 38:49Speaker 7: hate your brothers and sisters that you see every day.
- 38:52Speaker 7: He's not talking.
- 38:53Speaker 14: About your blood siblings. He's talking about the people that
- 38:58Speaker 14: walk some month on you. Right, you guys better check
- 39:03Speaker 14: yourself before when your name get called.
- 39:08Speaker 7: You won't make it in.
- 39:10Speaker 14: Stop listening to these false prophets, and you read your
- 39:14Speaker 14: Bible for your self and you will see it. Don't
- 39:19Speaker 14: depend on these preachers because some of them are telling
- 39:23Speaker 14: misleading you, especially when it comes.
- 39:27Speaker 7: To the people of color.
- 39:31Speaker 14: We're not going to hell, that's not we're We're not
- 39:35Speaker 14: going there, not unless you know, do something crazy and
- 39:39Speaker 14: we don't repent. There's nowhere in the Bible that says
- 39:43Speaker 14: that the white man, the the the Asian man, it's
- 39:50Speaker 14: superior than us, that we're a slave. There's nowhere in
- 39:53Speaker 14: the Bible that says that you guys need to stop
- 39:57Speaker 14: making up stuff.
- 39:59Speaker 15: People don't really believe that this spiritual warfare out here
- 40:02Speaker 15: is happening every day.
- 40:05Speaker 16: You see it every day.
- 40:08Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 40:10Speaker 16: And that's what I mean.
- 40:12Speaker 7: And I mean they you know, they always quoting Bible scriptures.
- 40:18Speaker 7: We wrestle, not with flesh and blood. So why are
- 40:21Speaker 7: we fighting among each other. We're supposed to be fighting
- 40:25Speaker 7: this in the spirit. Correct, that's what you're supposed to do.
- 40:31Speaker 7: It's written, it's written, wrestle not with flesh and blood.
- 40:39Speaker 13: That's right, that's right. The God are gonna ask about
- 40:43Speaker 13: no one else sins. When you get in front of him.
- 40:46Speaker 13: You're gonna have to be able to stand before him yourself.
- 40:49Speaker 13: So you better hope that he that he don't save
- 40:51Speaker 13: the part from.
- 40:52Speaker 16: Me because God is not the author of confusion. That's
- 40:56Speaker 16: not what he's not.
- 40:59Speaker 15: He's holy, he's pure, but sometimes we as That's why
- 41:07Speaker 15: I love what Angela and just listen to the Crew
- 41:13Speaker 15: podcast is because you know, if people would just tune
- 41:18Speaker 15: in and listen, they would learn a lot of things.
- 41:20Speaker 15: Because a lot of times I love when Angela say,
- 41:25Speaker 15: study and get to know God for yourself because a
- 41:29Speaker 15: lot of times people.
- 41:31Speaker 16: Tell you it's not facts.
- 41:33Speaker 15: They twist it to make it fit into their own lives.
- 41:38Speaker 15: They make it so it's believable through them. You know,
- 41:44Speaker 15: people will worship God, but they will not awey God.
- 41:49Speaker 15: They know how to quote the scriptures and they know
- 41:52Speaker 15: how to say the words.
- 41:55Speaker 16: But are you truly worshiping what you say?
- 41:59Speaker 7: Exactly?
- 42:00Speaker 1: Does your life reflect?
- 42:02Speaker 7: You?
- 42:03Speaker 9: Know?
- 42:03Speaker 14: I mean, like you said, you need It's written the
- 42:09Speaker 14: Bible says study to show yourself approved.
- 42:12Speaker 7: Correct So what are you doing? Why you? Why you
- 42:15Speaker 7: depending on somebody too to tell you what what he's saying?
- 42:23Speaker 1: And can people at you?
- 42:27Speaker 13: Can people see you and and see the God in
- 42:30Speaker 13: you because your actions. You don't have to open your mouth,
- 42:33Speaker 13: you you don't have to say nothing. People can see
- 42:37Speaker 13: the the God in you. If if you have Him
- 42:40Speaker 13: in you, people can see it. They can they can
- 42:43Speaker 13: feel it in your spirit, they can they can they
- 42:46Speaker 13: can feel it in your presence. They can feel it
- 42:48Speaker 13: from when you're having a conversation with them. And you
- 42:51Speaker 13: don't have to go around telling people that that you
- 42:54Speaker 13: are a believer, that you that you are a Christian.
- 42:57Speaker 13: You don't have to do that because if you're living
- 43:01Speaker 13: the word, people are gonna see it. Your life is
- 43:03Speaker 13: going to reflect it.
- 43:05Speaker 14: That's what he says, because that's what he said. He
- 43:11Speaker 14: said that the people would know who we are when
- 43:14Speaker 14: they say it.
- 43:15Speaker 15: But then too that what y'all saying a truth because
- 43:19Speaker 15: a lot of people are active for God, but they
- 43:21Speaker 15: don't truly know him.
- 43:23Speaker 16: They don't know him.
- 43:25Speaker 15: They know what he said, and they quote what other
- 43:28Speaker 15: people say that he said, but do they truly actually
- 43:32Speaker 15: know them for themselves.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Yeah, And just like Tavida said, knowing God is not
- 43:37Speaker 1: having a relationship. That's two different things. He wants you
- 43:42Speaker 1: to know him, but he also wants you to.
- 43:44Speaker 13: Have a relationship with him too, and having a relationship
- 43:47Speaker 13: that's been in time with him, you know, having them
- 43:50Speaker 13: intimate times, going into proud meditating, reading your scripture, you know,
- 43:54Speaker 13: having conversations with him, just like we sitting here having conversations.
- 43:57Speaker 1: You can have conversation with God. Take that time.
- 44:02Speaker 13: We don't take the time to acknowledge him. All he
- 44:05Speaker 13: want to do is be acknowledged.
- 44:07Speaker 1: That's it.
- 44:08Speaker 15: But the thing about that, Angela, you are both of
- 44:12Speaker 15: y'all are absolute right. People will receive something else, but
- 44:16Speaker 15: they're afraid to receive the Holy Spirit in their life.
- 44:20Speaker 16: They don't want that. They'll rather you know, and.
- 44:23Speaker 15: I say all the times, just like God have angels,
- 44:27Speaker 15: the devil have serpents and lesions too. He working for him,
- 44:32Speaker 15: just like God have people. People that the enemy have
- 44:35Speaker 15: people working for them. When they you're sleeping, they're up
- 44:39Speaker 15: trying to find some kind of way to bring me,
- 44:43Speaker 15: you Angela down.
- 44:45Speaker 16: They don't care who they try. They just try to
- 44:48Speaker 16: bring you down by ene means necessary.
- 44:51Speaker 15: And they will try to put when they see something
- 44:54Speaker 15: good is going on, they'll try to put a spirit
- 44:57Speaker 15: of confusion there to break.
- 44:59Speaker 7: It up.
- 45:01Speaker 1: And that's what they do.
- 45:02Speaker 13: And people don't know. The busiest hours is between three
- 45:05Speaker 13: and six, three and more. That's why sometimes people find
- 45:10Speaker 13: it hard, like those that we are praying. You know
- 45:13Speaker 13: a lot of people they say they struggle to get
- 45:15Speaker 13: up at five am to pray. But you know why
- 45:18Speaker 13: you struggle because the enemy is attacking you, because he
- 45:21Speaker 13: don't want you to get up and come together and
- 45:24Speaker 13: enner see with others because he knows that those are
- 45:28Speaker 13: the hours. Those are the witching hours. That's what they say,
- 45:31Speaker 13: are the witch and ours. That's when all of them
- 45:34Speaker 13: imps and all of those those those people that are
- 45:37Speaker 13: not godly, they out they doing what they do, that's
- 45:41Speaker 13: what they do.
- 45:42Speaker 15: Well, well, I'm ana live and witness, and I throw
- 45:45Speaker 15: both of my hands up to you, Shanet Trevida and
- 45:50Speaker 15: everybody on the platform. One thing that I can truly
- 45:55Speaker 15: say is when I was getting up at five am
- 45:59Speaker 15: for five a prayer and I was in it. That's
- 46:02Speaker 15: why I said, I got to get back in the routine.
- 46:05Speaker 15: My life was so I was so at peace, but
- 46:11Speaker 15: when the enemy started taking me with all.
- 46:13Speaker 16: These deaths in my family, I was drained.
- 46:19Speaker 15: It was taking my but as long as I one
- 46:22Speaker 15: thing that I can say, even with me talking to
- 46:25Speaker 15: you and Angela in the morning after prayer or doing
- 46:30Speaker 15: my daily routine, talking to y'all, it built me.
- 46:34Speaker 16: I was putting up y'all was helping me, keeping my
- 46:36Speaker 16: armor on.
- 46:37Speaker 15: But see when your arm, when you don't have your
- 46:41Speaker 15: armor on, you get weak and it's easy for the
- 46:44Speaker 15: enemy to come in and just take hold.
- 46:48Speaker 16: It's a stronghold. So I got to go.
- 46:51Speaker 15: I got to get back into what I was doing
- 46:55Speaker 15: on a regular because I wasn't tired. I wasn't tired
- 47:00Speaker 15: in the morning when I went to work, But now
- 47:02Speaker 15: I it's like I'm just on fumes.
- 47:05Speaker 16: By the end of the day.
- 47:06Speaker 15: I had They used to call me the energizer Bunny
- 47:09Speaker 15: because I had that annorting that covered me through that
- 47:14Speaker 15: day and no matter what the enemy tried to attack
- 47:17Speaker 15: me with, it bounced off for me. And so that's
- 47:21Speaker 15: why I know within myself, I got to get back
- 47:25Speaker 15: in my place.
- 47:26Speaker 7: But you know what you need, You're not the only
- 47:29Speaker 7: one that.
- 47:31Speaker 14: That did, like you know, that went through stuff something
- 47:34Speaker 14: like that, because I'm gonna share with you guys, I
- 47:38Speaker 14: don't know how we got over here.
- 47:39Speaker 7: On the subject but I really enjoy I really amna
- 47:44Speaker 7: join it. Today I did my.
- 47:48Speaker 14: First therapy session, and yeah, I felt so good to
- 47:55Speaker 14: release some of the things that I've been going through.
- 47:59Speaker 14: Everybody know my story, well for the ones that don't.
- 48:02Speaker 7: My son. I found my son.
- 48:05Speaker 14: Unresponsive and no on November tenth, twenty twenty three, and
- 48:11Speaker 14: that took a lot out of me. You know, I
- 48:16Speaker 14: was living, but I wasn't living, you know, when you
- 48:22Speaker 14: go through something like that when you.
- 48:26Speaker 7: See your child.
- 48:28Speaker 14: Because I identified with Nolan's and you know the other
- 48:32Speaker 14: mothers that lost their their sons, and these are sons
- 48:37Speaker 14: that every time I see a young man something happened
- 48:41Speaker 14: to a young man, it does something to me.
- 48:44Speaker 7: Because I had a son and I had to get I.
- 48:50Speaker 14: Had to give him, I had to lay him the rest,
- 48:53Speaker 14: and it takes a lot out of you, and it's
- 48:57Speaker 14: something that you can't expect.
- 49:02Speaker 11: You know.
- 49:05Speaker 15: We all have our own battles, and I really and
- 49:11Speaker 15: sometimes I try to hold back my tears because a
- 49:17Speaker 15: piece of me is with each and every one of you.
- 49:20Speaker 15: Because to hear Angela's story last night and to really
- 49:27Speaker 15: know what she went through, you know, after I got
- 49:32Speaker 15: off the broadcast, I thought about it. I said, well, Unique,
- 49:37Speaker 15: you went through that too. You went through domestic violence too.
- 49:41Speaker 15: This man tried to kill me. He came to my
- 49:46Speaker 15: job and told my supervisor and co workers. He came
- 49:49Speaker 15: through the front door and said how much how many
- 49:54Speaker 15: of you guys love Little? And they said we love
- 49:58Speaker 15: her a lot. He said, well, how would y'all feel
- 50:02Speaker 15: if she walked out and never walked back in these
- 50:05Speaker 15: doors again? And my supervisor immediately told me, She said, Little,
- 50:11Speaker 15: can you come check, take the blood pressures and get
- 50:14Speaker 15: an insulin? I say yes, ma'am.
- 50:16Speaker 16: She told me to go through the back door and
- 50:20Speaker 16: go home.
- 50:22Speaker 15: She was calling the police because at that moment, if
- 50:25Speaker 15: I would have went out that front door, that rude
- 50:28Speaker 15: was gonna kill me. He was right there telling them
- 50:33Speaker 15: boldly what he was fixing to do. I mean, I
- 50:37Speaker 15: went through turmoil with this dude.
- 50:41Speaker 7: He was.
- 50:42Speaker 15: I don't know how jealous he was. He said, if
- 50:45Speaker 15: I can't have you, ain't nobody gonna have you. He
- 50:49Speaker 15: was just and you know, once you break away, and
- 50:55Speaker 15: I asked God to take me out of that.
- 50:58Speaker 16: Zone that I was in. I can find myself again.
- 51:02Speaker 15: And it makes when you see those people don't know
- 51:07Speaker 15: some of the things, and Angela, all of us can relate.
- 51:11Speaker 15: Some of the things people say are triggers. And when
- 51:16Speaker 15: you hear it, you said, oh, no, I can't deal
- 51:19Speaker 15: with you. No, I got I cordially speak, but I
- 51:23Speaker 15: can't deal with you male or female. Some things that
- 51:26Speaker 15: you have dealt with that was a trauma in your life.
- 51:30Speaker 15: When you hear somebody new say it, it's a trigger.
- 51:34Speaker 15: You know, Okay, I can't let them take me back
- 51:36Speaker 15: to that place where I just been birth from.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Okay, I don't have to get on a lot of lives.
- 51:45Speaker 13: I don't been on TikTok and and people have been
- 51:48Speaker 13: in conversation and bring up stuff that you know, I'll
- 51:52Speaker 13: be like, oh, I gotta go. I move on to
- 51:55Speaker 13: the next to the next line, because I can't hear
- 51:58Speaker 13: in that space because I have to take my you know,
- 52:02Speaker 13: I know what I've been through, and I know what
- 52:04Speaker 13: I'm still dealing with, and I don't need extra on
- 52:07Speaker 13: top of what I'm dealing with. I'm trying to hear
- 52:10Speaker 13: now because sometimes you know, the least a thing can
- 52:13Speaker 13: bring me up trauma for your past.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Because when we think that we are over stuffed.
- 52:21Speaker 2: We're not.
- 52:22Speaker 13: Some sometimes we have to come to realize that we're
- 52:27Speaker 13: gonna always carry some of those memories, whether we consciously
- 52:32Speaker 13: do it or unconsciously do it, we're gonna carry some
- 52:35Speaker 13: of those things. And when we think that we're over it,
- 52:38Speaker 13: we're really not. We're just learning how hope through it
- 52:42Speaker 13: and to get through it. And we learned what what
- 52:46Speaker 13: triggers us, and we learn, you know, how to deal
- 52:50Speaker 13: with it. And and one thing for me is dealing
- 52:54Speaker 13: with depression. Now that I know the signs of depression,
- 52:58Speaker 13: I know when it's I know when it's coming on.
- 53:01Speaker 13: So I know some techniques and some things that I
- 53:04Speaker 13: can do that can you know, nip it in the bud.
- 53:09Speaker 13: Even if I have to get on medication, you know,
- 53:12Speaker 13: if that's what I have to do, then that's what
- 53:14Speaker 13: I'll do so that I can be at peaks, so
- 53:17Speaker 13: that I can be in a place because if I
- 53:19Speaker 13: ain't good for myself, I'm not good for the people
- 53:22Speaker 13: that that that that that depend on me, people that
- 53:26Speaker 13: you know, depend on me for the least little thing.
- 53:29Speaker 1: If it ain't nothing but a word of.
- 53:30Speaker 13: Encouragement, just a little uplifting because we don't realize the
- 53:34Speaker 13: impact that we have on people. Sometimes we think that
- 53:37Speaker 13: we're not impacting people, when yet we are. We we
- 53:41Speaker 13: never know who's watching us and that we can pour
- 53:46Speaker 13: into their lives to help them out. So we make
- 53:49Speaker 13: sure that we're good with ourselves so that we can
- 53:52Speaker 13: be good for those that we come and counter with.
- 53:54Speaker 15: We have we have people that watch us for a
- 53:57Speaker 15: good and we have people that watch us for the bad.
- 54:01Speaker 15: And it's a lot of people.
- 54:02Speaker 16: When I when we say that it's monitoring spirits out there.
- 54:08Speaker 9: It is.
- 54:09Speaker 15: They will monitor you from the time you get up
- 54:13Speaker 15: to the time you go to bed. They can tell
- 54:16Speaker 15: you more about your day than your own than you can't.
- 54:20Speaker 15: And you'll be saying, you got to be kidding me,
- 54:22Speaker 15: you know. And and I like I say all the time,
- 54:27Speaker 15: I love you and Angela, because a lot of times
- 54:30Speaker 15: I don't know. It's just like at that moment when
- 54:34Speaker 15: y'all call me, it's like y'all break the ice, because
- 54:39Speaker 15: at that moment, people will test your temperature and the
- 54:45Speaker 15: enemy will try to trigger you to take you back
- 54:49Speaker 15: and they see the one thing that I've learned is
- 54:52Speaker 15: that a person will love for you to act the food.
- 54:57Speaker 16: But when you are humble and you walk away. What's
- 55:00Speaker 16: wrong with you? See, they couldn't push that button and such.
- 55:05Speaker 15: They can't trigger you because you know how to control
- 55:08Speaker 15: that trigger and you know what they're doing. So once
- 55:12Speaker 15: you see it, you This is what I told my coworker.
- 55:17Speaker 15: I said, once I see it and see how they act,
- 55:23Speaker 15: I know how to move out the way mm hmm.
- 55:27Speaker 16: Once I.
- 55:31Speaker 13: They all, Yeah, that's a that's the old saying, and
- 55:35Speaker 13: say once once they show you who they are, they
- 55:40Speaker 13: are who they are.
- 55:42Speaker 15: No matter how much you want to change, they showing
- 55:45Speaker 15: you who they are. They're not gonna change. They showed
- 55:48Speaker 15: you so many times and you be saying, oh, they
- 55:51Speaker 15: they gonna change, they gonna do better, but they never do.
- 55:55Speaker 16: They never do. They just keep doing it.
- 55:57Speaker 15: And then if the when when they see they can
- 56:00Speaker 15: do it till you, they'll find another person that they
- 56:02Speaker 15: can victim minds and do it.
- 56:07Speaker 1: That's for sure. That's for sure. Well, I tell y'all,
- 56:12Speaker 1: I have enjoyed this conversation.
- 56:16Speaker 13: It's good to be able to have these conversations and
- 56:19Speaker 13: to just let out some steam, let out some some
- 56:22Speaker 13: some stuff that's been pressing on our minds and in
- 56:25Speaker 13: our hearts. I just pray that you know, our community
- 56:31Speaker 13: will continue to come together, continue to stand, continue to
- 56:36Speaker 13: get back to that village mentality, to get back to
- 56:39Speaker 13: families and and and you don't have to be blood
- 56:42Speaker 13: to be family. We got to get back to looking
- 56:44Speaker 13: out for our neighbors and speaking to our neighbors because
- 56:47Speaker 13: sometimes we go we were pulling our yard and we
- 56:50Speaker 13: go straight in our house and our neighbors can be
- 56:52Speaker 13: standing out there and we.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Won't even speak.
- 56:54Speaker 13: So we we got to get back to showing love
- 56:57Speaker 13: and and you know, being there one for another, you know,
- 57:03Speaker 13: because people don't want to see us united because we
- 57:07Speaker 13: we know how powerful we are. We we see what
- 57:10Speaker 13: happened to Black Wall Street. We we we saw what
- 57:13Speaker 13: happened to Lake Lanier. We saw what happened to a
- 57:17Speaker 13: lot of these places that were black towns, and how
- 57:22Speaker 13: they flooded them out, how they burnt them out because
- 57:25Speaker 13: they knew. But they they can't stop us if we
- 57:29Speaker 13: wish to take our money out of out of the
- 57:32Speaker 13: economics and the the these systems.
- 57:36Speaker 15: A lot of this stuff was shut down because there
- 57:40Speaker 15: enough they're trying to build Black Wall Street up in Oklahoma.
- 57:45Speaker 16: And as we speak, and I'm glad, I really am.
- 57:49Speaker 13: You spend trillions of dollars in this at economy. We
- 57:55Speaker 13: spend trillions of dollars in this economy, and if we
- 57:58Speaker 13: wish to pull our money out, they will be looking crazy.
- 58:01Speaker 13: They always want to tell us to get on the boat,
- 58:03Speaker 13: go back where we come from. But they, the ones,
- 58:06Speaker 13: need to go back where they come from because.
- 58:08Speaker 14: This is and you know what, that right there is
- 58:12Speaker 14: getting old to me because if they know their history, they.
- 58:18Speaker 7: Know that we was brought over here.
- 58:22Speaker 16: That's correct, we was brought over here.
- 58:25Speaker 14: And then another thing that really chaps my high is
- 58:29Speaker 14: when they want to call people African American people monkeys.
- 58:38Speaker 7: We're not monkey. Maybe if you look, if you look
- 58:42Speaker 7: at our features, we don't have thin lips, right, we
- 58:49Speaker 7: have full lips.
- 58:51Speaker 15: Why are they trying to make their lips like our
- 58:54Speaker 15: if they hate us so bad they to be our color?
- 58:59Speaker 15: If they but then you know what, but.
- 59:02Speaker 14: If you want to call me a monkey, go ahead
- 59:04Speaker 14: and call me a monkey, because a monkey is intelligent.
- 59:07Speaker 16: Mm hmm.
- 59:09Speaker 15: They spend our thousand, thousands of dollars to get a
- 59:13Speaker 15: butt that we was born with exactly, and not.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Only that, if it was not for us.
- 59:19Speaker 13: These people wouldn't even know how to walk straight up.
- 59:21Speaker 13: They used to walk around four us. We we we
- 59:24Speaker 13: taught them how to walk straight up. Not only that,
- 59:26Speaker 13: we taught them how to watch they behind. These people
- 59:29Speaker 13: didn't even know how to take a bath.
- 59:31Speaker 14: Well, wait a minute, and then they want to They
- 59:35Speaker 14: always want to talk about the black woman.
- 59:39Speaker 7: The black woman. Our ancestors are the ones that nurse
- 59:45Speaker 7: your ancestors.
- 59:47Speaker 16: They was why they they can't send us? Why did
- 59:50Speaker 16: they rape so many?
- 59:51Speaker 15: Why did they have all their children more from the
- 59:55Speaker 15: black person woman than they did their own wife that
- 59:59Speaker 15: was in the big house.
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: Because they wanted to keep their figures. That's what That's what.
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: That's what I was thinking, you know think.
- 1:00:13Speaker 14: But a lot of them needs to go back and
- 1:00:16Speaker 14: do research, research the history and see what they I
- 1:00:23Speaker 14: see a lot of people that's lazy, that don't want
- 1:00:27Speaker 14: to do the research.
- 1:00:28Speaker 15: Why did they take out of school? Why don't they
- 1:00:32Speaker 15: take black history out of school?
- 1:00:34Speaker 13: If you go back and really research, you'll see when
- 1:00:38Speaker 13: white people appear. They didn't appear into the sixteen hundreds,
- 1:00:42Speaker 13: sixteen eighteen, to be exact. If you go back and look,
- 1:00:47Speaker 13: and it was a white lady on the what's.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: The name, you can google it.
- 1:00:50Speaker 13: These people did not appear into the sixteen hundred and
- 1:00:54Speaker 13: and they were a mutation of us, a mutation of us,
- 1:01:01Speaker 13: but yet they don't like us.
- 1:01:04Speaker 16: You know what.
- 1:01:04Speaker 15: I know you're not lying, Angela, because when we had
- 1:01:08Speaker 15: when we had to do anatomy, and when we had
- 1:01:11Speaker 15: to do anatomy and we had to go to the
- 1:01:14Speaker 15: the city Morgue for our anatomy class, they they tell
- 1:01:21Speaker 15: us the reason why they have to hurry up and
- 1:01:26Speaker 15: bury a white person is because after a week they
- 1:01:33Speaker 15: start to turn black.
- 1:01:35Speaker 16: Yeah, they start, they turned and because and.
- 1:01:39Speaker 15: I know they're not lying, because one here in Fort Worth, Texas,
- 1:01:43Speaker 15: they they kept the lady.
- 1:01:45Speaker 16: They kept the white lady.
- 1:01:46Speaker 15: Out too long and they had tagged her and they
- 1:01:50Speaker 15: the family came and looked for and she they had
- 1:01:53Speaker 15: she had the toe tag, but she was dark.
- 1:01:57Speaker 16: She had turned dark. And they were saying that wasn't
- 1:02:01Speaker 16: they family member.
- 1:02:02Speaker 15: And then they did a DNA and did uh our
- 1:02:06Speaker 15: toped to and did all that and found out that
- 1:02:08Speaker 15: that was her. And they said, what happened? She turned black?
- 1:02:13Speaker 15: That's why they hurry up and buried them, because they
- 1:02:15Speaker 15: she had turned completely black. And and you know, I
- 1:02:19Speaker 15: love what you're saying, Angela, because no matter what we
- 1:02:24Speaker 15: do in this fellowship, we got to stand for.
- 1:02:28Speaker 16: The same purpose.
- 1:02:30Speaker 12: Yeah, and so.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Well, I'm gonna.
- 1:02:37Speaker 16: We had a good topic tonight. I enjoyed it. We're gonna,
- 1:02:40Speaker 16: we're gonna have to keep this rolling. This was good.
- 1:02:42Speaker 16: This was good.
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: Yeah, we talked about some of everything.
- 1:02:52Speaker 16: I said.
- 1:02:54Speaker 13: I don't know what all we're gonna talk about, but hey,
- 1:02:57Speaker 13: this is a time where we can be all over
- 1:02:58Speaker 13: the place because all of it was necessary.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: You know, God had his way. He allowed us to
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: share what he wanted the people to hear tonight.
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: You know.

- 1:05:55Speaker 14: We were given testimonies of what we've been through and
- 1:06:00Speaker 14: how God kept us, so you know, look out for that.
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: Right now. We just finished the Rebirth Journey of the
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: Rebirth with Angela.
- 1:06:15Speaker 14: I wrote I think about four poems in that that's out,

- 1:06:40Speaker 7: It's so much stuff that I'm doing. And let me
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: share this with you guys.
- 1:06:50Speaker 14: Before this past weekend when I was in Denver Angela,
- 1:06:55Speaker 14: I sent Angela the pictures I rededicated my life. I'm
- 1:07:01Speaker 14: was baptized again and it was wasn't in the church.
- 1:07:08Speaker 14: It was at the Denver Reservoir and God was amongst it.
- 1:07:15Speaker 14: We had people that was actually getting off their boats
- 1:07:19Speaker 14: coming over there and the bishop and the pastors was
- 1:07:24Speaker 14: baptizing them.
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: Out there in the reservoir.
- 1:07:29Speaker 14: I'm telling you, I feel so good and I'm just
- 1:07:33Speaker 14: thankful for Angela, Trevina, everyone on the Crew podcast were
- 1:07:38Speaker 14: opening their ons and welcoming and meet in in two
- 1:07:42Speaker 14: thousy twenty four and I'm just grateful. I'm just grateful.
- 1:07:49Speaker 14: I'm not finished yet. I'm not finished.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Hey, ma'am ay, ma'am. Well, I you can catch me
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: on www.
- 1:08:01Speaker 13: Angela Thomas smith books dot com. You can go over
- 1:08:04Speaker 13: to linktree, Backslash, Queen Up Collaborations, or you can just
- 1:08:08Speaker 13: google me, Google Queen Visionary, Angela, Queena Collaborations, the Crew Podcast,
- 1:08:16Speaker 13: whatever you put in, I'm gonna come up. I tell you,
- 1:08:19Speaker 13: it's just amazing to be able to have an opportunity
- 1:08:23Speaker 13: to share the gifts and talents that God has given us.
- 1:08:26Speaker 13: You know, He knew what we was gonna need to
- 1:08:27Speaker 13: make it in this world, so he equipped us with
- 1:08:30Speaker 13: the gifts and talents so then we can pour out
- 1:08:32Speaker 13: into people and make an impact. So I am also
- 1:08:36Speaker 13: in that book. I am going to be in that
- 1:08:37Speaker 13: book with Trevida. I am also working on three projects.
- 1:08:45Speaker 13: One is gonna drop in April of twenty twenty seven.
- 1:08:49Speaker 13: One is gonna drop in February of twenty twenty seven,
- 1:08:54Speaker 13: and one is dropping this November.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: We are doing a.
- 1:08:58Speaker 13: Three book trilogy. Is a poetry trilogy Anchored and Wholeness.
- 1:09:04Speaker 13: We're gonna be sharing it is a spiritual transformation. The
- 1:09:09Speaker 13: first one is the first book is called Rooted in
- 1:09:13Speaker 13: the Tree of Life, Rooted planet like a tree rooted
- 1:09:19Speaker 13: in life. The second one is Branches of Enlightenment. And
- 1:09:23Speaker 13: then the third one is the Seven Gifts of the Spirit,
- 1:09:28Speaker 13: and I'm excited about that. That's gonna drop in November February.
- 1:09:34Speaker 13: The first our prayer Anathology, is gonna drop. We're gonna
- 1:09:40Speaker 13: be sevenbrating seven years on low Wall, seven years of
- 1:09:45Speaker 13: inno sensory prayer. So we're gonna be dropping a prayer
- 1:09:49Speaker 13: book all of the women that interceed with us, and
- 1:09:52Speaker 13: any believer. So if you are a believer and you
- 1:09:54Speaker 13: have a testimony that you want to share, we still
- 1:09:57Speaker 13: have space so you can reach out to me and
- 1:10:00Speaker 13: get involved. There's a twenty seven dollars feet to be
- 1:10:04Speaker 13: a part of that. But it's an opportunity to connect
- 1:10:08Speaker 13: with some amazing queens.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: You have an opportunity.
- 1:10:11Speaker 13: Every book I do, I give you an opportunity to
- 1:10:14Speaker 13: be featured on a billboard in New York Times Square,
- 1:10:18Speaker 13: so you get to have your face up in the
- 1:10:20Speaker 13: lights of where people can see you, because there's thousands
- 1:10:22Speaker 13: and thousands of people that come through there every single
- 1:10:26Speaker 13: day through those billboards, So you get an opportunity. Project
- 1:10:32Speaker 13: number three is They Are Not Forgotten. It is a
- 1:10:36Speaker 13: book that is dedicated to those that are behind prison walls.
- 1:10:40Speaker 13: Our men and women that are behind prison walls. We
- 1:10:43Speaker 13: don't want them to fill and lose hope. We want
- 1:10:47Speaker 13: to let them know that they are not forgotten, that
- 1:10:50Speaker 13: there are people on the outside that's pulling for them,
- 1:10:52Speaker 13: that's praying for them, that is standing with them, and
- 1:10:56Speaker 13: we want them to know that they are.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Still yet love.
- 1:10:59Speaker 13: So this book is based on Hebrews thirteen and three
- 1:11:05Speaker 13: where it says think about those that are in prison
- 1:11:09Speaker 13: as if you were there.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: That is a paraphrase of that scripture.
- 1:11:14Speaker 13: So I am looking for one hundred and thirty three
- 1:11:16Speaker 13: people to pour into this book to share, whether it
- 1:11:20Speaker 13: be a poem, a word of encouragement, a letter, a devotion,
- 1:11:25Speaker 13: whatever you can do to pour into somebody that's behind
- 1:11:28Speaker 13: prison walls to let them know that they are not forgotten,
- 1:11:31Speaker 13: that they are not alone, that there are still hope
- 1:11:33Speaker 13: because we have seen God move, and we know that
- 1:11:36Speaker 13: God can move, because we've seen what he's done through
- 1:11:39Speaker 13: our prayer line. We've seen him bring Corey Liganholme. We
- 1:11:42Speaker 13: saw him bring Carnell Drummer home. We saw him bring
- 1:11:46Speaker 13: Andrew Lee Beard home. We have seen God moving. We
- 1:11:50Speaker 13: see him moving in Antonio's life. Antonio can come home now.
- 1:11:54Speaker 13: So we want those that are behind prison walls to
- 1:11:58Speaker 13: not lose hope, and we want them to allow God
- 1:12:03Speaker 13: to transform them and to rehabilitate them so that they
- 1:12:06Speaker 13: too can walk free. So, if you're out there, we
- 1:12:10Speaker 13: need your voice. We need your voice to be a
- 1:12:12Speaker 13: part of this anthology.
- 1:12:14Speaker 7: Again.
- 1:12:14Speaker 13: I'm looking for one hundred and thirty three voices to
- 1:12:18Speaker 13: speak to speak, to speak to speak. And y'all, it's
- 1:12:21Speaker 13: only thirteen dollars and thirty three cent we waste that
- 1:12:24Speaker 13: going to Starbucks. Ye say, it is going to be
- 1:12:29Speaker 13: a seed worth sewing. You get an opportunity to impact lives.
- 1:12:33Speaker 13: You get an opportunity to be connected with one hundred
- 1:12:36Speaker 13: and thirty two other believers that are trusting and believing
- 1:12:40Speaker 13: that God is going to move on the behalf of
- 1:12:42Speaker 13: those that are incarcerated. So if you're out there and
- 1:12:46Speaker 13: you have something that you would like to share, please
- 1:12:49Speaker 13: reach out. If you can't get in touch with me,
- 1:12:51Speaker 13: get in touch with one of these queens on this platform.
- 1:12:54Speaker 13: You can always email me at Queen of Collaborations at
- 1:12:58Speaker 13: gmail dot com. I am one of the easiest persons
- 1:13:02Speaker 13: to come in contact with. I'm telling you you just

- 1:13:11Speaker 13: literary works available on Amazon and most retail outlets. Some
- 1:13:17Speaker 13: of my publications are inside Walmart, Barnes, and Noble Books,
- 1:13:20Speaker 13: a million, you name it, it is available. And I

- 1:13:29Speaker 13: that want to learn how to publish their books so

- 1:13:40Speaker 13: coach you along the way as well as I want
- 1:13:44Speaker 13: to pick.

- 1:13:45Speaker 13: I got a book on Walmart dot com. It's like
- 1:13:48Speaker 13: eighteen dollars. You can grab that book and walk yourself
- 1:13:51Speaker 13: through it. If you don't want to invest in the fee.
- 1:13:55Speaker 13: It is a fee five hundred and twenty five dollars,
- 1:13:58Speaker 13: but I'm gonna walk you through it from start to finish,
- 1:14:01Speaker 13: and you will know how to publish a book, and
- 1:14:03Speaker 13: when you're ready to publish another one, you will know
- 1:14:05Speaker 13: how to publish another one. And if you want to
- 1:14:06Speaker 13: teach somebody else how to publish, you can teach somebody
- 1:14:09Speaker 13: else how to publish.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Because one thing I believe in.
- 1:14:12Speaker 13: I believe in that old saying that if you teach
- 1:14:15Speaker 13: a child how to fish, they'll never go homework. So
- 1:14:18Speaker 13: I'm teaching those that come to my past how to
