- 0:03Speaker 1: Enough is enough. I don't have any Why shall share
- 0:07Speaker 1: your sup and we hold the world ransom for excuse
- 0:12Speaker 1: me while I whip this house broadcasting live and Atlanta, Georgia.
- 0:18Speaker 1: This this is the Sports Shot Ship with Wayne Gandy.
- 0:23Speaker 2: You may.
- 0:25Speaker 3: I come so far?
- 0:30Speaker 4: Comes it comes on?
- 0:33Speaker 5: Is it just.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I'm a doing? Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way
- 0:40Speaker 1: you made Bill Vegan.
- 0:42Speaker 6: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. I'm listening to the sports Shock Show.
- 0:48Speaker 6: I'm the sport Shock. Wayne came to. Good morning to
- 0:51Speaker 6: you out there in this thing land. Glad to be
- 0:54Speaker 6: here with you on this Monday morning, bright and early.
- 0:59Speaker 6: I got the band back together, which is interesting. Last
- 1:03Speaker 6: night I was at the Hawks Pistons game, speaking of
- 1:06Speaker 6: bands and hip hop artists came out. Some of you
- 1:12Speaker 6: might have heard some of his music, David Banner. Everybody's
- 1:17Speaker 6: not necessarily in tune with that style of music, and
- 1:21Speaker 6: he's an olden artist. But David came out did the
- 1:26Speaker 6: halftime performance at the Hawks game. It was HBCU night there.
- 1:32Speaker 6: They chose to bring David out and he had the
- 1:37Speaker 6: Moorhouse band accompany him, maybe twenty five members of that band.
- 1:45Speaker 1: But the interesting part was the band didn't play.
- 1:48Speaker 6: It was the oddest thing that he walked the band
- 1:51Speaker 6: out and the band just simulated as though they were playing,
- 2:00Speaker 6: and it kind of left me dumbfounded. And I've been
- 2:03Speaker 6: to a lot of places where this has happened, and
- 2:07Speaker 6: a lot of people like to give love to some
- 2:10Speaker 6: of the HBCU bands, but typically they give you music
- 2:16Speaker 6: and to see them just like I don't know whether
- 2:19Speaker 6: they were shooting some rap video for him and it
- 2:23Speaker 6: was just supposed to look that way, but everybody in
- 2:28Speaker 6: my section was kind of tapping each other like the
- 2:32Speaker 6: band's not playing, and they did like two songs where
- 2:38Speaker 6: they pretended to do their little thing and went off
- 2:42Speaker 6: the floor. And I'm still here today, about twelve hours later,
- 2:49Speaker 6: confused of what that was. I've never seen a band
- 2:52Speaker 6: the request of a band to come but not tune
- 2:57Speaker 6: in to the song at any point. Hey, that's why
- 3:03Speaker 6: the Sports Shock Show is always telling you keep living,
- 3:06Speaker 6: don't don't don't go today, just live on to tomorrow.
- 3:09Speaker 6: You might see something that that piqued your interest that
- 3:12Speaker 6: might get you to the next day. Remember, just piecing
- 3:15Speaker 6: days together. That's all we're doing. We're just piecing them together.
- 3:19Speaker 6: So if I had to gone the day before. I
- 3:21Speaker 6: would have missed the music list band at a health
- 3:25Speaker 6: time show. But oh, Big Kenny has the good morning,
- 3:31Speaker 6: Big Kenny.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Good morning morning. Get to your mind. You don't even
- 3:34Speaker 1: got your mic. I'm still listening to you. The band
- 3:37Speaker 1: didn't play. I'm trying to figure out if it as
- 3:41Speaker 1: a movie being made. Good Morning world.
- 3:44Speaker 4: I'm gonna start my question and I'm hoping this is
- 3:47Speaker 4: a simple question. Did David Banner actually was here? Was
- 3:52Speaker 4: his vocals? Were his vocals live? Everybody? Well, you know
- 3:56Speaker 4: they wrap over the track right, yes?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Not now? And this is my second question.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Were y'all supposed to believe that they were playing?
- 4:06Speaker 1: Like?
- 4:07Speaker 4: Did they expect you to not notice that music wasn't
- 4:10Speaker 4: coming out the instruments? I mean, because sometimes people will
- 4:12Speaker 4: come out and just mount the word I'm doing this.
- 4:15Speaker 1: You know, I'm soving and were doing like this, but
- 4:18Speaker 1: he's not hitting.
- 4:19Speaker 6: The drum and so they but nobody was playing.
- 4:25Speaker 1: It was very that's fraud. Can we what was trying
- 4:34Speaker 1: to like?
- 4:35Speaker 7: Were they actually did you see anybody like hitting a
- 4:38Speaker 7: drum or?
- 4:38Speaker 1: Were they?
- 4:39Speaker 8: Did you hear.
- 4:41Speaker 1: You?
- 4:41Speaker 6: You would hear the two guys that had the symbols
- 4:44Speaker 6: at someone you had, you would hear the of them.
- 4:48Speaker 6: They're moving, so they can't reduce all. When you got
- 4:53Speaker 6: two symbols pressed together, you know if you kind of
- 4:57Speaker 6: rattle them a little bit that you could hear them make.
- 4:59Speaker 4: That like do you think they didn't pay him enough
- 5:02Speaker 4: to actually play the music?
- 5:03Speaker 1: Look, we'll show up.
- 5:05Speaker 7: It might not have been the more House band question.
- 5:09Speaker 1: What's next? Command you?
- 5:11Speaker 9: Greg?
- 5:11Speaker 1: Thank you so much?
- 5:12Speaker 4: Do you think that they were like, man, we can't
- 5:14Speaker 4: make it, and he was like, well, we still got
- 5:16Speaker 4: uniform and time on.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I think maybe all I.
- 5:19Speaker 6: Could think of is that he didn't really have any music,
- 5:23Speaker 6: or they didn't have time to inject the HBCU theme
- 5:30Speaker 6: into the performance, and this was their way of trying
- 5:34Speaker 6: to get you know, make it seem like this had
- 5:36Speaker 6: an HBCU moment.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Let's call let's call more House, let's call it, let's
- 5:43Speaker 4: call the band director.
- 5:44Speaker 10: Like that was Clark las Brown. You know they're gonna
- 5:47Speaker 10: be like, we're gonna get it down.
- 5:49Speaker 1: A little bit.
- 5:49Speaker 6: I'm gonna get something some drunk. When he got a
- 5:54Speaker 6: high school band, if that was a maze, I'm about
- 5:56Speaker 6: to guess what wanted to play may Doug. I thought
- 6:02Speaker 6: maybe he had a new track where he had used
- 6:06Speaker 6: was it a band a band instro part? But what
- 6:11Speaker 6: two songs did he sing that? Did it even sound
- 6:13Speaker 6: like band music being played?
- 6:15Speaker 1: But I'm saying what two songs did he do? Then?
- 6:17Speaker 1: So he did it like three or four songs? It
- 6:20Speaker 1: was I don't really know his music. Did he do
- 6:22Speaker 1: the girls on the Floor song? Yes? Did he have
- 6:25Speaker 1: the band out there there?
- 6:26Speaker 4: Real girl get down on the floor, on the floor
- 6:30Speaker 4: like a pimp?
- 6:31Speaker 1: Which is interesting because I thought, which is which is
- 6:34Speaker 1: a banger? Which is that?
- 6:36Speaker 6: I thought the Gaven banner had moved to conscious rap. Well,
- 6:41Speaker 6: see he conscious movement he was. I was kind of
- 6:44Speaker 6: surprised he did girls on the flow he is, acause.
- 6:48Speaker 1: That kind of goes against conscious rap.
- 6:52Speaker 4: But but but it's part of my journey. Now, don't
- 6:55Speaker 4: you hate them all lot? By the time I hit
- 6:59Speaker 4: the the Best Friend.
- 7:01Speaker 6: Clothes, Yeah, I thought you were trying to uplift you
- 7:04Speaker 6: telling them to get down.
- 7:06Speaker 1: On the flow. On the flow lack a pimp? So
- 7:10Speaker 1: which one is it? Real? Good? Get down?
- 7:15Speaker 4: You know, I'm true to my roots. I don't do
- 7:17Speaker 4: much evolving sports. I'm not wanting to ask from Mississippi.
- 7:22Speaker 4: I'm not saying I'm not saying I don't grow. I'm
- 7:25Speaker 4: saying I grow slowly, but I'm still was one.
- 7:29Speaker 10: And you know, I thought you were about to say
- 7:30Speaker 10: he came out, and I wasn't expecting you say the
- 7:33Speaker 10: more man.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Why him?
- 7:36Speaker 4: Not only has he changed his style and all of that,
- 7:39Speaker 4: those songs were popular in the like literally twenty years ago. Yes,
- 7:43Speaker 4: So how would that affect a I don't I don't
- 7:47Speaker 4: really understand how they're trying to connect these angles for
- 7:50Speaker 4: an HBCU presentation.
- 7:53Speaker 11: Uh.
- 7:54Speaker 7: And you know it sometimes seems like they just might
- 7:56Speaker 7: throwing stuff together and then it may not matter. Just like, Okay,
- 8:01Speaker 7: David Banners available and the.
- 8:05Speaker 1: More houses you and David Banner, he was more.
- 8:08Speaker 10: He had a lot more songs as a hit as
- 8:11Speaker 10: a producer, like that get on the floor and maybe
- 8:14Speaker 10: that work. The song he had with Chris Brown has
- 8:16Speaker 10: the only two songs that really.
- 8:18Speaker 6: That I've seen him in a couple of movies and
- 8:21Speaker 6: TV shows of late I forgot he did I did.
- 8:25Speaker 6: I remember when he said he was moving the more
- 8:26Speaker 6: conscious rap and conscious presence.
- 8:29Speaker 1: And getting away that happened, But that's it.
- 8:31Speaker 6: Another HBCU moment happened at the Spirit Airline.
- 8:37Speaker 1: The other day, the brawl at Spirit, not the takeover.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Remember did y'all see the video they were swinging at
- 8:45Speaker 1: the airline. Oh, I didn't know.
- 8:49Speaker 6: At the terminal they got Spirit a big fight. It
- 8:54Speaker 6: had looked like from the video at least eight to
- 8:56Speaker 6: ten people, wow, were actually out.
- 9:00Speaker 1: And was it HBCU related.
- 9:03Speaker 6: No, And that sounded like it was a moment where
- 9:12Speaker 6: it must have been something about a beef between Moorhouse
- 9:16Speaker 6: and Clark or something. But they were throwing haymakers, And
- 9:20Speaker 6: I kept thinking, how I had just had a conversation
- 9:24Speaker 6: with my daughter about how the airport, and I've said
- 9:26Speaker 6: here on the show, how the airport has become the
- 9:30Speaker 6: bus station. Yes, that if you're not old enough to know,
- 9:34Speaker 6: there was this time where you never, you rarely ever
- 9:38Speaker 6: heard of fights at the airport or the train station.
- 9:45Speaker 6: The train station was very popular in the seventies and
- 9:48Speaker 6: eighties of how you travel somewhere. It was actually quicker
- 9:51Speaker 6: than the bus because the bus route a lot of
- 9:55Speaker 6: times made a lot of stops, but you never went
- 9:57Speaker 6: to those venues, and people were acting up, acting up,
- 10:02Speaker 6: especially in the airport.
- 10:03Speaker 1: People showed up at airport.
- 10:05Speaker 6: With Yeah, now at the airport, it's this is like
- 10:08Speaker 6: common hat. Either they're fighting each other or they're fighting
- 10:11Speaker 6: the flight people for just telling them you can't take
- 10:14Speaker 6: that on the fight.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Which has always always.
- 10:16Speaker 6: Been one of the most interesting things. Uh, that you
- 10:20Speaker 6: can fight me for doing my job. That's something that
- 10:27Speaker 6: my whole job is to sit here and let people
- 10:29Speaker 6: understand what they can take on the flight and what
- 10:31Speaker 6: they can't.
- 10:33Speaker 1: And you fight me about it. But you're trying to
- 10:35Speaker 1: tell me what to do.
- 10:36Speaker 10: Tell this I'm going on vacation, trying to tell me
- 10:40Speaker 10: you got to get to where I got to get.
- 10:42Speaker 1: To bring those kilos into this hold on?
- 10:46Speaker 4: Hold on, I bought my ticket, though I bought a ticket.
- 10:50Speaker 6: That three ass you only allowed one small carry on
- 10:54Speaker 6: hold on?
- 10:55Speaker 1: Did you? Did you not?
- 10:57Speaker 6: You say, knowing the homegirl because she had a BBL No,
- 11:01Speaker 6: why you let her go through? Why you why you
- 11:03Speaker 6: won't stop me for sir, at the moment we had
- 11:06Speaker 6: overhead space.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Now that you.
- 11:09Speaker 10: But she had a lot of space that could have
- 11:11Speaker 10: gave me my space.
- 11:12Speaker 1: You're getting very hostile, sir. No, I ain't hostile yet.
- 11:16Speaker 6: Y'all finishy, hostile, but Spirit cost security. You know what,
- 11:20Speaker 6: Spirit medio, I missed that. Spirit, I missed that said
- 11:24Speaker 6: I'm going with this. I'm going with the security quick
- 11:26Speaker 6: see we're now you're gonna get def into the conversation
- 11:29Speaker 6: and you get.
- 11:32Speaker 4: This is the this is the established reality when it
- 11:35Speaker 4: comes to stuff like that is you know they coming.
- 11:38Speaker 4: So that makes me wonder about the mental stability of
- 11:41Speaker 4: these people. You you you, you're not so disconnected that
- 11:44Speaker 4: you forgot you in the airport.
- 11:45Speaker 6: And Spirit is already halfway closing and y'all are just
- 11:49Speaker 6: doing them in.
- 11:50Speaker 10: Spirit said they're not falling out of the sky. They're
- 11:52Speaker 10: the only planes that's not falling. So that's fly with deal.
- 11:56Speaker 10: That's not a reparable quote. And you should fire the
- 12:00Speaker 10: CEO at that person. That's not fly Spirit.
- 12:06Speaker 1: We ain't following Sports Show after this.
- 12:11Speaker 12: Flight birds, I got I got to serve. When I

- 15:37Speaker 18: Okay, okay, looks on Yon blow us right?
- 15:42Speaker 1: I don't know how we all boy at wiel what
- 15:52Speaker 1: looks on? Eastside? Boss and your boy play like they
- 15:57Speaker 1: cowder me. Welcome back to the Sports shop Side. I'm
- 16:00Speaker 1: the Sportshock Wing Gaming. Good morning to you. Tradition.
- 16:07Speaker 6: It's something that we have talked about in the thirteen, fourteen,
- 16:12Speaker 6: fifteen years we've been doing this sports Shock show off
- 16:15Speaker 6: and on where does it stand in the consciousness of.
- 16:24Speaker 1: America?
- 16:26Speaker 6: As it is now, tradition in our country seems to
- 16:32Speaker 6: be wavering. We've had arguments even to the idea of
- 16:41Speaker 6: should you stand for the flag or not? We've how
- 16:46Speaker 6: many years and days have that conversation hit the table?
- 16:49Speaker 6: And I bring that up because traditions like the manger
- 16:56Speaker 6: outside during Christmas and being able to go from calling
- 17:03Speaker 6: Christmas to Happy Holidays? Are you supposed to say Christmas
- 17:06Speaker 6: or Happy Holidays? We've kind of looked at every tradition
- 17:12Speaker 6: and thought about reversing it. Well, the New York Yankees
- 17:17Speaker 6: have taken the decision to change a tradition that they've
- 17:22Speaker 6: had for forty nine years, and that is facial hair.
- 17:30Speaker 1: They have decided, and you know, like a lot.
- 17:33Speaker 6: Of things with any team, as the team gets passed
- 17:39Speaker 6: down from the originators of it, when it goes from
- 17:48Speaker 6: father and mother to son and daughter to grandson and granddaughter,
- 17:55Speaker 6: things start slowly changing. The color way change. You asked
- 18:02Speaker 6: a young twenty twenty five kid, what's the colorway of
- 18:06Speaker 6: the Atlanta Hawks, and they.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Wouldn't know.
- 18:10Speaker 6: Because that's how frequently they changed. But one tradition that
- 18:15Speaker 6: has stood for forty nine years was the idea that
- 18:19Speaker 6: if you decide to become a Yankee, you have to
- 18:29Speaker 6: shave your facial hair. Now, I've read different reports that
- 18:34Speaker 6: some major leaguers are gonna miss it. They loved the tradition,
- 18:38Speaker 6: they loved that idea.
- 18:40Speaker 1: It was a choice.
- 18:41Speaker 6: It had nothing to do what we're making you. We're
- 18:44Speaker 6: telling you before you sign this contract, here's the idea.
- 18:49Speaker 19: Now.
- 18:50Speaker 6: I come from when I went to College Auburn at
- 18:53Speaker 6: that time, under coach Died, you couldn't have anything but
- 18:59Speaker 6: a musk dash doing football season. Now in the five
- 19:03Speaker 6: six months of the off season, if you were one
- 19:06Speaker 6: of those people who could rapidly grow hair, some some
- 19:09Speaker 6: guys are Yeah, you give them four to eight hours
- 19:11Speaker 6: and look like they've been missing rightness. You know, yeah,
- 19:17Speaker 6: go right back to you now. To me, this is
- 19:20Speaker 6: like forty years of growth, y'all, just to understand. That's
- 19:23Speaker 6: how slowly my air grows. But some people are instantly.
- 19:27Speaker 6: That's why they made the racer. Some people do have
- 19:29Speaker 6: to shave every day, every single or they look like
- 19:33Speaker 6: they're unshaven. But we've had traditions even for the NBA
- 19:40Speaker 6: and college basketball. Remember guys had to wear the same
- 19:44Speaker 6: colorway shoe as the team you know, it didn't have
- 19:47Speaker 6: to be the same shoe, but it had If we're black,
- 19:50Speaker 6: it had to be black or white. It had to
- 19:52Speaker 6: be white. It couldn't just be Now you got ten
- 19:55Speaker 6: players out there, there's ten different color shoes on the court.
- 19:59Speaker 6: So the Yank he's now have decided to dissolve, and
- 20:03Speaker 6: most likely whoever's running the team probably is the grandson.
- 20:06Speaker 6: Now I don't know which time Brenner is in control.
- 20:09Speaker 6: His son is it his son? Or is his son's son?
- 20:13Speaker 6: It's his son Hall is his son? Hal has decided
- 20:18Speaker 6: and most likely guys Big Kenny Kamanchi, Greb Baptt. This
- 20:21Speaker 6: is coming from this idea of missing on one or
- 20:25Speaker 6: two free agents.
- 20:28Speaker 1: That might have that arrogance that I'll just go down
- 20:35Speaker 1: to Cleveland and keep my beard, but go play for
- 20:40Speaker 1: the Guardians dead. If you don't want to be a
- 20:44Speaker 1: part of the Bronx Bombers, I'm like you. That's how
- 20:47Speaker 1: I stand doing it. Go play for the Gardens, go
- 20:50Speaker 1: play for Harry Face.
- 20:53Speaker 6: But a lot of people, but you know, really have
- 20:57Speaker 6: I read a lot of players are fifty fifty. A
- 21:00Speaker 6: lot of them loved the tradition that the Yankee it
- 21:05Speaker 6: was a Yankee thing. And sometimes those little things, especially
- 21:08Speaker 6: when you get to pros, is to try to create
- 21:11Speaker 6: some type of.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Camaraderie.
- 21:16Speaker 6: It's easy in high school. It's easier in college to
- 21:19Speaker 6: create that, yes, than it is in the pros. The
- 21:22Speaker 6: pros now you're dealing with egos and money and people
- 21:26Speaker 6: with families and all kinds of things that can quickly
- 21:29Speaker 6: you can find reason not to galvanize. You know, you
- 21:35Speaker 6: have a wife, you got three kids at homes. Practice
- 21:37Speaker 6: is over. It's easy to be like, hey man, I
- 21:39Speaker 6: got to get home and never hang out together. Whereas
- 21:42Speaker 6: in college. Most people in college are not married and
- 21:46Speaker 6: don't have kids. We're all going back to the same
- 21:48Speaker 6: room to do the same thing, pretty much.
- 21:50Speaker 1: To the same thing.
- 21:51Speaker 6: So some of these things like this beard, to me,
- 21:55Speaker 6: is just a way of having a tradition of saying
- 21:58Speaker 6: that you are a Yankee, the same way that the
- 22:03Speaker 6: Stillers only put a logo on one side of the helmet.
- 22:09Speaker 6: That's their tradition. They only have one decal. I know
- 22:13Speaker 6: some of you are sitting there like, what are you
- 22:15Speaker 6: talking about, smorts Jock. You must have been hanging with
- 22:17Speaker 6: Big Kenny last night smoking No the helmet looks like
- 22:21Speaker 6: it has because so many other hats are out there,
- 22:24Speaker 6: so it looks like they have two. They only have
- 22:27Speaker 6: one one decal on the helmet. We'll talk about this
- 22:33Speaker 6: on the other side. I know the bad producer is
- 22:36Speaker 6: a Yankee guy. Big Kenny is a big baseball guy.
- 22:40Speaker 6: But really it's just about the question of tradition. It's
- 22:42Speaker 6: not so much whenever we see tradition, it's Penn State.
- 22:47Speaker 6: Putting names on the back of the jersey would be
- 22:49Speaker 6: breaking a tradition a decade. You no like generations tradition.
- 22:55Speaker 6: So we'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right
- 22:57Speaker 6: after this.

- 25:44Speaker 1: Who the blows playoff? Who the dirty South blows? Who
- 25:47Speaker 1: the blows playoff? Who the dirty South plows? The blows playoff?
- 25:51Speaker 6: What to act to this one shot job, this shot
- 25:54Speaker 6: wing game to good morning, Tell your bad pducer, Big Kenny,
- 25:57Speaker 6: command you Greg all In the studio with me. As
- 26:00Speaker 6: we are winding down this month of februaryy spring is
- 26:05Speaker 6: in the air. You see a slight, little light smathering
- 26:10Speaker 6: outside of pollen. You're trying to play it off like
- 26:15Speaker 6: it's dust or or your neave been doing some construction
- 26:20Speaker 6: and some saltdust just flew over. No, that's a little polling.
- 26:23Speaker 6: If you're here in the Atlanta area, is coming. Look
- 26:26Speaker 6: at the tree next time you have to stop signing
- 26:28Speaker 6: a red light. Look over into the one or two
- 26:30Speaker 6: trees they still let hang around. It's a little bud
- 26:33Speaker 6: on it, which means polling in the air. Don't wait
- 26:37Speaker 6: till your car gets yellow to want to take your Zyrtec.
- 26:41Speaker 6: Don't get in on it now, start taking it and
- 26:44Speaker 6: fight it. So you're gonna be calling me bad producers. Manma,
- 26:48Speaker 6: I'm gonna be out tomorrow. Man, my sinuses kidding. I
- 26:53Speaker 6: thought I told you two weeks to go and get
- 26:54Speaker 6: on it. Man, It takes like four days to have
- 26:57Speaker 6: an effect anyway. But we were talking about additions, the
- 27:01Speaker 6: Yankees having a tradition of the well shaven man, and
- 27:06Speaker 6: now they have decided it's time. As their GM and
- 27:11Speaker 6: owner is saying to trage. I'm one of those people.
- 27:16Speaker 6: I like the whole some traditions. It just gives to
- 27:21Speaker 6: me a unity instantly. You walk in understanding there's a
- 27:25Speaker 6: unity because I played with several teams, and you know,
- 27:29Speaker 6: the four franchises I played really just the Stillers had
- 27:35Speaker 6: this kind of tradition. It was an unspoken tradition as
- 27:40Speaker 6: though if you're Stiller, your mannerisms of playing football is different.
- 27:48Speaker 6: We play football more for the love than for the fame.
- 27:55Speaker 6: We play you know, you're still getting the check. And
- 27:57Speaker 6: we debated, but we're not out here for the glitz
- 28:01Speaker 6: and glamour. We don't have a halftime band, we don't
- 28:05Speaker 6: have have cheerleaders, we don't do all that very little
- 28:11Speaker 6: fireworks that was just left over from the pit game.
- 28:15Speaker 6: And they told us we can go.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Ahead on but six.
- 28:21Speaker 6: So we got four left. So they're that kind of
- 28:24Speaker 6: franchise that since it's four left, you know, we pavem.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Use them tomorrow.
- 28:31Speaker 6: And then you know, after you're still a score four touchdowns,
- 28:35Speaker 6: you're sitting there.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Man.
- 28:36Speaker 6: They didn't let them off, No, they out the fifth touchdown.
- 28:39Speaker 6: They don't have any left. They just getting rid of
- 28:41Speaker 6: the ones they paid for.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Well, they played the sound a sound effect of fireworks,
- 28:48Speaker 1: kind of opposite.
- 28:49Speaker 6: Then the Cowboys, the franchise of the Cowboys down, they
- 28:53Speaker 6: functioned as royalty.
- 28:55Speaker 7: Now five yard game, five yard game, five yard game,
- 29:01Speaker 7: cowboy boy.
- 29:02Speaker 12: You know.
- 29:03Speaker 6: And when I say that, it's like one day turn
- 29:07Speaker 6: on the TV. And like I said, the Steelers have
- 29:10Speaker 6: two decals. The Penn State nipty Lions have names on
- 29:15Speaker 6: the back of the jersey. The Carolina tarhells are now
- 29:23Speaker 6: lavender and white. They don't got rid of the powder.
- 29:27Speaker 6: That's their tradition, right. People see that powder and they
- 29:31Speaker 6: think if you put a shoe in powder in white,
- 29:34Speaker 6: they think that must be some kind of North Carolina addition,
- 29:38Speaker 6: Michael Jordan must have made because that's how long that
- 29:41Speaker 6: has been running.
- 29:43Speaker 1: You some things you can't, you should have changed up
- 29:47Speaker 1: years ago.
- 29:48Speaker 6: But once some things, once you see minute that's what
- 29:51Speaker 6: it is, and people really are We were talking about
- 29:53Speaker 6: that with music. I remember the I think it's the
- 29:57Speaker 6: Red Hot Chili Peppers in that group. Right when they started.
- 30:01Speaker 6: They had one of the members he wore pamper Fleet.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Was that the right man? Yes, yes, that's correct, Flee. Yeah,
- 30:12Speaker 1: he said that was cool. When he was nineteen, but
- 30:16Speaker 1: he was forty two with a grand kid, and they
- 30:20Speaker 1: still wanted him to come out, and he had Papa,
- 30:23Speaker 1: why you got a diaper around like me? You got
- 30:26Speaker 1: might not wear a shirt, but he'll have on pants.
- 30:30Speaker 1: But I remember watching something he went from a pamper.
- 30:32Speaker 6: To the tidy whitey briefs when he first went yeah,
- 30:36Speaker 6: when he first went out, like hey, okay, I mean
- 30:39Speaker 6: still flee, but I'm not doing the pamper. He said
- 30:42Speaker 6: that a lot of his fans was like, what's wrong
- 30:45Speaker 6: with you? You ain't doing cocaine no more?
- 30:49Speaker 1: You know, because we've all been asked that question. Am
- 30:53Speaker 1: I right? We've all been asked like he would stop.
- 30:56Speaker 1: They wouldn't let him move past that pamper, move past
- 31:00Speaker 1: the panthers.
- 31:01Speaker 6: So, first of all, before we get around to traditions
- 31:04Speaker 6: that you guys love and you hope that you know
- 31:07Speaker 6: in a sports forum, uh, there's something bad, but do so,
- 31:11Speaker 6: what do you think about your Yankees new rule?
- 31:14Speaker 1: Because you're you're a Yankee guy. I'm looking at it. Williams.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Let me get his name correct. The reliever.
- 31:23Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, no, I don't want to go
- 31:25Speaker 6: that far. No particular player. I want to know about
- 31:27Speaker 6: the rule, the rule change.
- 31:29Speaker 10: It took it took a reliever to get that rule change,
- 31:32Speaker 10: and that's been traditional with the Yankees, like the great
- 31:35Speaker 10: having great relievers, and it makes you think, go back
- 31:37Speaker 10: to Marino.
- 31:39Speaker 1: You're not telling me whether you like the change or not.
- 31:42Speaker 1: You're telling me how it came.
- 31:43Speaker 4: I don't.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I mean I don't like it.
- 31:45Speaker 10: I mean I think that it's a tradition and you
- 31:48Speaker 10: should keep it if it's been there for the team.
- 31:50Speaker 10: I'm like when even when the Reds changed THEIRS a
- 31:54Speaker 10: few years twenty years ago, the Yankee still stayed with
- 31:57Speaker 10: it and players still we still still was able to
- 32:00Speaker 10: Alex Rodriguez is the all the other free agents that
- 32:05Speaker 10: you needed. So just losing a free agent player this
- 32:10Speaker 10: year because he made mention that not able to wear
- 32:13Speaker 10: a beard and that was one of his reasons to
- 32:15Speaker 10: go somewhere else.
- 32:17Speaker 6: So I'm still if that's what it's never stopped to
- 32:20Speaker 6: stop the Yankees before you would you were excuse me,
- 32:27Speaker 6: win under the tradition. Okay, that's good, Big Kenny, Commandie
- 32:33Speaker 6: and Babaji. Is there a tradition in sports that you
- 32:36Speaker 6: love and hope never changes.
- 32:41Speaker 7: Well, there's one that that's changed in recent years that
- 32:47Speaker 7: I don't know if anyone really cares about it. But
- 32:49Speaker 7: with like Notre Dame with their uniform has always been
- 32:54Speaker 7: no names on the back, solid gold helmet, and now
- 32:59Speaker 7: they have now they're doing if they make the playoff
- 33:02Speaker 7: or a bull game, that's when they'll have their names
- 33:05Speaker 7: on the back or they have some kind of alternate
- 33:07Speaker 7: jersey that I don't I haven't seen anybody really be
- 33:12Speaker 7: interested in seeing that. You know, when you see Notre Dame,
- 33:16Speaker 7: you expect a certain look, and that's what it's always been.
- 33:19Speaker 7: They haven't changed it, so to like putting names on
- 33:24Speaker 7: the back is kind of it can be kind of jarring.
- 33:27Speaker 7: And the same thing with like Penn State they have
- 33:29Speaker 7: done the have the names on the back sometimes and
- 33:31Speaker 7: it's like it's feel it just feels off.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Big Kenny.
- 33:37Speaker 4: I hope the tradition of bands actually playing music doesn't
- 33:43Speaker 4: go away. I kind of like that now now I'm
- 33:46Speaker 4: saying now as the son of a prolific musician. That
- 33:50Speaker 4: was something that amazed me is that a human being
- 33:53Speaker 4: can take this thing and make music with it. I
- 33:56Speaker 4: mean the kind the same way it sounds on the
- 33:59Speaker 4: record sounding right here in front of me, and halftime shows.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Those kinds of things, even now at the college level
- 34:08Speaker 4: seem like they want to ramp up to more NFL,
- 34:13Speaker 4: NBA style entertainment. It's no longer in support of the
- 34:17Speaker 4: university because that's what we are, university representatives. It seems
- 34:22Speaker 4: like they just want the other ten fireworks, you know
- 34:26Speaker 4: what I'm saying. They want to blast the other five off.
- 34:29Speaker 4: And I would just like to see that halftime show
- 34:33Speaker 4: remain because for shame on more House, the Southern juke Box,
- 34:39Speaker 4: the Sonic Boom, would never they would never.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Do docer the tradition you hope stays in place, at
- 34:46Speaker 1: least until they put you in the grave. I mean
- 34:49Speaker 1: they've took away football to kickoff.
- 34:51Speaker 6: I mean that thing right there, man, is that sens
- 34:55Speaker 6: the tempo because you don't know, you might get a
- 34:58Speaker 6: guy a buzz for one hundred, or you're gonna get it,
- 35:01Speaker 6: might get a fumble. But taking away that that started
- 35:04Speaker 6: the point of the game, because that's what the build
- 35:06Speaker 6: up is about.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Everybody, get ready, that focus, you know what's going on.
- 35:13Speaker 10: We're about to kick this thing off, and now they're
- 35:16Speaker 10: taking it away to like you're in the box and
- 35:18Speaker 10: the guys got to stand there and wait before they
- 35:20Speaker 10: can even move because it was a thrill. If you
- 35:22Speaker 10: made the kickoff team in high school or whatever, that
- 35:27Speaker 10: that was your one time just to get it open. So,
- 35:29Speaker 10: I mean, that's a tradition that they have taken away.
- 35:32Speaker 10: I feel like that it's gonna trickle down to college.
- 35:37Speaker 10: It's gonna go down and everything else, and then all
- 35:40Speaker 10: that pump, pass and kick it's just gonna be.
- 35:42Speaker 4: Pad Well, and you mentioned the trickle down. I wanted
- 35:46Speaker 4: to ask, do you think there's a bigger impact on
- 35:50Speaker 4: this with the Yankees. It seems like so many people
- 35:53Speaker 4: see business decisions as being a tax on personal freedoms,
- 35:57Speaker 4: Like they ask you if you cool with shape your face.
- 36:01Speaker 4: When Steinbrenner was in the office every day, he asked
- 36:05Speaker 4: them to call him boss. Now that's not something that
- 36:08Speaker 4: I'm making you do. I'm saying, if you work for us,
- 36:11Speaker 4: everybody who works for me.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Calls me boss.
- 36:13Speaker 4: So you said that a player used that as one
- 36:18Speaker 4: of the reasons they decided not to go to the
- 36:20Speaker 4: Yankees because I want to wish that we lost this year.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Well, I'm saying, so that's the game.
- 36:28Speaker 4: If you can't, I mean we see it in societal
- 36:32Speaker 4: structures across the board. The minute you start to diminish
- 36:37Speaker 4: the requirements, the minute you start to value one person's
- 36:41Speaker 4: opinion over the group needs and aspirations, things.
- 36:47Speaker 6: Start to fall apart. I'm sorry we lost a really
- 36:50Speaker 6: good free agent, but so it does affect your bottom line.
- 36:55Speaker 6: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.

- 39:01Speaker 27: If you build trust, becomes easier. As a parent, you
- 39:06Speaker 27: want what's best for your child. To give them the
- 39:09Speaker 27: love of that a child needs. It's probably the best
- 39:12Speaker 27: thing you can do a for a teenager.

- 39:29Speaker 1: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy, its.
- 39:52Speaker 28: Lock as you don't can sit a sports joint, I'll
- 39:56Speaker 28: sing even journey.
- 40:00Speaker 6: Welcome back to this boy, shock shune, this spoy shock
- 40:02Speaker 6: Wayne Gandy. It has only been two weeks since the
- 40:06Speaker 6: Philadelphia Eagles have won the Super Bowl down in New
- 40:12Speaker 6: Orleans against the Kansas City Chiefs. They've already gone out
- 40:17Speaker 6: over the last day or so and said they are
- 40:19Speaker 6: not going to the White House. This is how you
- 40:24Speaker 6: handle this White House. If or organization decides that they're
- 40:36Speaker 6: not going to accept your invitation, then they never get
- 40:47Speaker 6: to come.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Ever.
- 40:54Speaker 6: So if you can't come when I invite you to day,
- 41:00Speaker 6: you win the Super Bowl next year and the guy
- 41:07Speaker 6: that you wanted to win is now president, and you
- 41:11Speaker 6: decide to go take that off the table. Either you
- 41:20Speaker 6: believe in the tradition or you don't, and we can
- 41:27Speaker 6: get rid of this. I'm so tired of this being
- 41:29Speaker 6: in the news cycle. So Eagles don't want to come,
- 41:35Speaker 6: Eagles never come, and be done with it. We can,
- 41:41Speaker 6: we can know, never don't. We don't ever have to
- 41:43Speaker 6: email you after y'all win the super Bowl. That whole
- 41:46Speaker 6: department no, oh, the Eagles won. We got the week off.
- 41:49Speaker 6: We ain't got to prepare nothing. We don't have to
- 41:51Speaker 6: send no statement. We know and you know that it's done.
- 41:59Speaker 6: That's where just talking about tradition fellas yes were, We're not.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Yes we were.
- 42:03Speaker 6: The tradition was the White House and you know, forty
- 42:08Speaker 6: fifty whatever years ago decided to invite champions of their
- 42:11Speaker 6: sport as an honor. In the last ten fifteen years
- 42:18Speaker 6: it has gone, oh, I'm not going. I'm not the
- 42:21Speaker 6: individual player. If he chooses not to want to come,
- 42:26Speaker 6: that's on him. But as an organization, we are going,
- 42:33Speaker 6: and those who want to come go for those that
- 42:35Speaker 6: don't define.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Yes, even if it's just the front office there, Yeah,
- 42:42Speaker 1: someone from that.
- 42:43Speaker 6: And you might have heard of Jim correct heard of
- 42:46Speaker 6: or just don't come at all. In that kind of
- 42:49Speaker 6: how we handled our own life. If you invite somebody
- 42:53Speaker 6: to something prestigious they don't want to come, well, then.
- 42:59Speaker 1: I know not that invite you anymore. Now.
- 43:02Speaker 4: I think the thing that people use as their defense
- 43:09Speaker 4: in why their sensibilities are offended with something like that
- 43:14Speaker 4: is they would say that the overriding tradition is freedom
- 43:21Speaker 4: of expression, is the constitutional right to speak out against things. Now, Unfortunately,
- 43:33Speaker 4: what I was just saying earlier, we always putting our
- 43:36Speaker 4: personal freedoms and our business together. It used to be
- 43:40Speaker 4: a time when you could be who you want to be.
- 43:42Speaker 4: You could wear the ear ring in your nose. I'm
- 43:44Speaker 4: not telling you you can't do that.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I can't. I'm not telling you you can't wear two
- 43:47Speaker 1: ear rings. I'm just saying you can't do that at
- 43:50Speaker 1: the job.
- 43:51Speaker 4: And my trade off with you is I'm going to
- 43:54Speaker 4: give you money for the time that you're here and
- 43:56Speaker 4: you're going to play this role.
- 43:57Speaker 1: But here's the way.
- 44:00Speaker 4: I'm saying to you now that you're telling me that
- 44:05Speaker 4: the tradition of us going to the White House is
- 44:08Speaker 4: something that you want to put your personal perspective on,
- 44:12Speaker 4: your personal political views. You didn't win the Super Bowl,
- 44:16Speaker 4: your team did so as a part of your official
- 44:20Speaker 4: work capacity. We all gonna get on some transportation. We're
- 44:24Speaker 4: gonna go take a photo op at the White House.
- 44:26Speaker 4: If you don't want to shake hands, if you don't
- 44:28Speaker 4: want to show up, you can do that. But to
- 44:31Speaker 4: let one or ten or fifteen players have such an
- 44:35Speaker 4: impact on an entire organization that nobody goes, I think
- 44:39Speaker 4: is a disservice to the people who actually don't mind going,
- 44:43Speaker 4: who want that moment in time.
- 44:45Speaker 10: Well, the masses, they say the masters of the team
- 44:47Speaker 10: didn't want to go, But if you look at your
- 44:50Speaker 10: whole state, in the state of Pennsylvania wanted this person
- 44:53Speaker 10: man as a right.
- 44:55Speaker 1: But at the same time, my thing is the tradition.
- 44:58Speaker 10: Part of it is what like I said, fifty sixty
- 45:01Speaker 10: years ago, when we started this Civil Rights Act, wasn't
- 45:04Speaker 10: put in places nineteen sixty four. You're gonna tell me
- 45:06Speaker 10: that every president that's been in the producer Bappier, this
- 45:10Speaker 10: is not a political show. No, I'm just saying you're
- 45:12Speaker 10: getting because I know you can't.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Know, you can't no, you can't because you already don't
- 45:21Speaker 1: went into the civil rights and all that. I'm not.
- 45:23Speaker 1: I don't care about that. I don't care.
- 45:26Speaker 6: That's what I'm trying to tell you. And I don't
- 45:28Speaker 6: need you to explain. No, that's the whole issue. There
- 45:33Speaker 6: is no explanation. There is either we're going or not.
- 45:38Speaker 6: There is no what this person has in policy. Either
- 45:41Speaker 6: we're going or we're not going. That's the whole thing.
- 45:45Speaker 1: It's not about what that person's policies are, but that's
- 45:49Speaker 1: what they're claiming. The reason why I don't care.
- 45:51Speaker 6: What they're claiming. We're different than other shows. You know why,
- 45:57Speaker 6: because I think different. And I'm just trying to tell
- 46:03Speaker 6: you either we go to the White House or were not.
- 46:06Speaker 6: But when I call to.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Invite you to a game and you asked me who
- 46:10Speaker 1: planing and you based and going on the game based
- 46:13Speaker 1: on who I tell you the Hawks playing will get
- 46:15Speaker 1: you cut off my list quick. I asked you, did
- 46:18Speaker 1: you want to go to the game tonight? The Hawks game?
- 46:21Speaker 1: Who there? Who they're playing?
- 46:23Speaker 6: Don't worry about it, man, I don't need to invite
- 46:26Speaker 6: you because if I tell you it's the Hornets and
- 46:29Speaker 6: you say no, but the Lakers here and tomorrow I'll
- 46:32Speaker 6: go to Martin.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Now, see I ask you, did you want to go
- 46:35Speaker 1: hang with me? Right?
- 46:38Speaker 6: And I have to have to cut people off for
- 46:40Speaker 6: asking me that. Come on at you, Greg, before we
- 46:44Speaker 6: go to break.
- 46:45Speaker 7: You had your hand up the Eagles when they won
- 46:47Speaker 7: in twenty seventeen, they also did not go.
- 46:50Speaker 6: And that's what I just said. Then don't ever go
- 46:54Speaker 6: cause you don't You don't respect the White House? Correct,
- 46:59Speaker 6: And you think that's saying how every day however they
- 47:02Speaker 6: but that's the point I'm talking. Typically the owner lets
- 47:07Speaker 6: the players.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Okay, that's.
- 47:11Speaker 6: But he can put them in date like you're saying,
- 47:13Speaker 6: but we'll start and that's what I say. I'm not
- 47:16Speaker 6: making you, as an individual go nowhere. I'm telling you
- 47:19Speaker 6: that the Philadelphia Eagles are about to drive down to
- 47:22Speaker 6: the White House.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Now how many people that may be, that's how it
- 47:28Speaker 1: ends up. Period.
- 47:33Speaker 6: But the thing before people show up the church, the
- 47:35Speaker 6: pastor still have to pre that's fact. We'll be back

- 50:43Speaker 1: I was a Chiefs fan or I was a Bulls fan,
- 50:48Speaker 1: and you beat me, so I'm not going to You
- 50:50Speaker 1: didn't beat me, You beat us. You beat us because

- 51:06Speaker 1: No, I'm not, but no, no, not no, not with
- 51:09Speaker 1: that caca.
- 51:10Speaker 6: No you can't.
- 51:12Speaker 4: I'm all on some home of the Chiefs. So no,
- 51:15Speaker 4: you can't come, sir. It ain't got nothing to do
- 51:18Speaker 4: with politics. It's got every single thing to do with sports.
- 51:22Speaker 4: I'm a Chiefs fan, so nice win, but gone with
- 51:27Speaker 4: the business.
- 51:31Speaker 6: Bad producer saying a story about Steve Smith sr H
- 51:34Speaker 6: and an incident over the weekend about someone on Instagram
- 51:39Speaker 6: or something like that.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Guys, we didn't need to talk about that. Oh I didn't.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I barely clicked on it. It said some about Steve.
- 51:47Speaker 6: I didn't I understand what was going on other than
- 51:52Speaker 6: some guy got upset that Steve might have had relationships
- 51:55Speaker 6: with his wife, So was he trying to puney she's
- 52:00Speaker 6: wife by telling the world or what.
- 52:03Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 52:03Speaker 6: He dropped all the text messages and different pictures. I'm saying,
- 52:07Speaker 6: what was his point?
- 52:09Speaker 10: Not for sure, That's what I was wondering, because Steve
- 52:11Speaker 10: Swift just was up for election for Hall of Fame.
- 52:14Speaker 1: He didn't make it.
- 52:15Speaker 10: And I asked you before the show, I'm like, where
- 52:17Speaker 10: did all this come from? All of a sudden, out
- 52:19Speaker 10: of the blue, and it came out fame doesn't seem
- 52:23Speaker 10: to be related to you.
- 52:24Speaker 1: I know, it doesn't happen with this guy.
- 52:27Speaker 7: If Steve Smith was with this guy's wife and he
- 52:31Speaker 7: was upset, so you do the social media thing by
- 52:34Speaker 7: posting all the text messages and the pictures and and
- 52:40Speaker 7: just too because he's in his feelings and that's how
- 52:43Speaker 7: he's going to handle well.
- 52:45Speaker 10: N this lady, she worked for the Baltimore Ravens. She
- 52:49Speaker 10: was in their marching band and they where they actually
- 52:52Speaker 10: do play the instrument. So but anyway, this guy, like
- 52:56Speaker 10: I said, I couldn't understand where like story, but I
- 53:01Speaker 10: wanted to understand how to come to you. I was
- 53:03Speaker 10: just like I said, I couldn't understand the whole point
- 53:05Speaker 10: of where did it come from? Out of the blue
- 53:08Speaker 10: here at the Smith has been in the news this long,
- 53:13Speaker 10: and this apparently has been going on.
- 53:15Speaker 1: He's been on TV.
- 53:17Speaker 6: Unless the guy just found out this information within the
- 53:20Speaker 6: last two or three weeks and he decided to do this.
- 53:23Speaker 1: He even had a call where he called.
- 53:25Speaker 10: Steve Smith himself and Steve said, I'm sorry man, you know,
- 53:29Speaker 10: and you hear him tell him saying I'm sorry.
- 53:31Speaker 1: He recorded that and put all that out on social media. Also,
- 53:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I couldn't understand what the purpose was. I
- 53:37Speaker 1: guess maybe he was trying to say something about his wife.
- 53:42Speaker 4: Now the man, the man who's being cheated on, put
- 53:47Speaker 4: this information out of my correct Yes, and he said
- 53:51Speaker 4: he's not going to divorce, so marry. A lot of
- 53:53Speaker 4: people tell him you need to, he said, no, I
- 53:55Speaker 4: just want her to. Well, I would imagine a lot
- 54:00Speaker 4: of that sounds like emotion, sounded like hurt feelings.
- 54:04Speaker 1: I mean, you know, uh, would you be hurt?
- 54:08Speaker 4: Would I be hurt if if if I made a
- 54:10Speaker 4: bad decision and a wife and she turned out to
- 54:13Speaker 4: be a trice.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Now, yes, my feelings would be hurt.
- 54:17Speaker 4: I mean to the point where she evene got so
- 54:19Speaker 4: raggedy with it that I can gather the information for myself.
- 54:24Speaker 4: I mean, we're talking about human emotions, yes, and so
- 54:28Speaker 4: maybe this man feels like outing them both is somehow
- 54:31Speaker 4: in an effort to embarrass of Steve Smith, because maybe
- 54:34Speaker 4: he felt like, Steve, you ought to be better than that,
- 54:37Speaker 4: just to bro code you ain't, you know, you ain't
- 54:39Speaker 4: want to.
- 54:40Speaker 10: He puts all this information out on that he's just
- 54:43Speaker 10: outstanding citizen and I was doing this, and so that's
- 54:48Speaker 10: my thing, Like you know, I couldn't understand where it
- 54:51Speaker 10: just came out of the blue.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Well what would be his How could it not come
- 54:56Speaker 1: out of the blue, like you keep saying that, Like.
- 55:00Speaker 4: It's supposed to be public information. This is an affair.
- 55:04Speaker 4: It's supposed to be a Sikh. The affair was accidental,
- 55:07Speaker 4: well I'm saying, and it's still got out, you know,
- 55:11Speaker 4: which makes it raggedy in itself. The best affairs are secret.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't. I guess he's just trying to out
- 55:19Speaker 1: his wife. Maybe I don't know how he's tearing, especially
- 55:23Speaker 1: if he's not trying to try to leave her, I
- 55:26Speaker 1: don't Yes, this is the way of dealing with his grief. Yeah,
- 55:30Speaker 1: this is just this is the stages of grief. This
- 55:33Speaker 1: is anger and denial.
- 55:35Speaker 6: Yeah, it's taking back the power of people walking around
- 55:37Speaker 6: thinking I don't know. Yeah, in a sense, So Livy Dunn,
- 55:42Speaker 6: the gymnasts out of LSU, the gymnastics pheenom as far
- 55:47Speaker 6: as n I L do we know anything about her
- 55:51Speaker 6: as a gymnastics athlete. This should be about her last
- 55:54Speaker 6: year in college. Have you ever even seen her on
- 55:59Speaker 6: a balance B No, I ain't never, not, not on
- 56:03Speaker 6: a highlight. I'm about have you ever turned into have
- 56:05Speaker 6: you ever.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Seen now SEC gymnastics are on?
- 56:11Speaker 6: Does If anyone says craziness though, is that wait a minute,
- 56:16Speaker 6: wait a minute, had the best gymnastics team in the
- 56:19Speaker 6: SEC and this is the lady like say, you see
- 56:22Speaker 6: Georgia and information about them, you never see l s
- 56:25Speaker 6: U or you keep turning. Can we stay on the
- 56:29Speaker 6: subject that I introduced because we were talking, we weren't
- 56:32Speaker 6: talking about Georgia and they're blight of not being seen.
- 56:36Speaker 6: I was trying to find out how this young lady
- 56:39Speaker 6: who is one of the major hitters in N I
- 56:41Speaker 6: L and none of us have seen there correct actually
- 56:47Speaker 6: do gymnastics.
- 56:48Speaker 4: And he said that if anybody says that you know
- 56:51Speaker 4: they've seen gymnastics, they're lying.
- 56:53Speaker 1: No, no, that they that they know what it's on.
- 56:55Speaker 4: Oh okay, because I about saying, passed out in front
- 56:58Speaker 4: of TV enough time to some gymnastics, Like I didn't
- 57:02Speaker 4: seen it, but I didn't see Olivia Dunn do anything
- 57:06Speaker 4: I've never seen.
- 57:07Speaker 1: It's just amazing how you can be something in our
- 57:10Speaker 1: in this new world. Do we even know if she
- 57:12Speaker 1: can do gymnastics? She flips on her commercial at one
- 57:18Speaker 1: time she was doing right.
- 57:19Speaker 7: Now because we saw we saw that's I don't know
- 57:23Speaker 7: she's won anything.
- 57:24Speaker 1: We saw them girls get on the rowing team at
- 57:26Speaker 1: you see La never ain't never.
- 57:30Speaker 6: Rolled in the life, so you know it was just
- 57:32Speaker 6: something because I did see. I had to run off
- 57:35Speaker 6: to the Hawks game. But I did see last I
- 57:38Speaker 6: think last night they were advertising that it was a
- 57:41Speaker 6: gymnastic competition coming on at seven and they said Olivia
- 57:47Speaker 6: done or o Livy done. And I was sitting there
- 57:49Speaker 6: thinking for someone that we spoke about a lot. I've
- 57:53Speaker 6: never seen this young lady perform.
- 57:55Speaker 1: And real quick question, you jogged at the Hawks game. Jog.
- 58:02Speaker 3: You said, I'm gonna run off to the Hawks game. John, Yeah,
- 58:06Speaker 3: that's that's just the old saying. Oh okay, I say,
- 58:09Speaker 3: you'd be overdoing it sort of it just get over.
- 58:16Speaker 18: Got on a dash, what to save by the bill?
- 58:19Speaker 18: Got a house by the pipe, side by side. Yeah,
- 58:22Speaker 18: I'm living like that like that, and I'm right like
- 58:25Speaker 18: that like that. I'm ride like that in the storm
- 58:29Speaker 18: wheel woods like a baseball.
- 58:31Speaker 11: Back, John Boy, Wayne Born of the Sports John Show
- 58:35Speaker 11: with Wayne Gambidio's coming up mast.
- 58:38Speaker 13: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 58:41Speaker 13: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 58:45Speaker 13: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 58:49Speaker 13: life insurance.
- 58:49Speaker 19: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 58:51Speaker 19: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 58:54Speaker 1: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind. What
- 58:56Speaker 1: about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 58:59Speaker 19: When I was with a kid in college and bills
- 59:01Speaker 19: piling up, I was worried how my family was survive
- 59:03Speaker 19: without me. That's what I'm inde an appointment with the
- 59:05Speaker 19: insurance informant.
- 59:06Speaker 13: Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family
- 59:09Speaker 13: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 59:12Speaker 19: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 59:14Speaker 19: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 59:16Speaker 13: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 59:18Speaker 13: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 59:21Speaker 13: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 59:23Speaker 13: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 59:27Speaker 13: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 59:32Speaker 13: Log on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits
- 59:36Speaker 13: or bills dot com.
- 59:38Speaker 31: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 59:42Speaker 31: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 59:44Speaker 31: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, where
- 59:47Speaker 31: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 59:50Speaker 31: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 59:54Speaker 31: with the family support in line, just with my mind frame,
- 59:58Speaker 31: I was able to turn I'm a negative into a positive.
- 1:00:02Speaker 31: I knew I needed more tools in my toolbox to
- 1:00:05Speaker 31: take care of these little girls that just lost their mother.
- 1:00:08Speaker 31: It's time for me to be that father that I
- 1:00:10Speaker 31: knew I could be. I think just being that good
- 1:00:13Speaker 31: role model as well. That model's good behavior in front
- 1:00:16Speaker 31: of them, going to work every day, coming home and
- 1:00:19Speaker 31: being able to put on that smile. The biggest reward
- 1:00:22Speaker 31: about being a dad is sitting back and watching your.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Kids be happy.
- 1:00:28Speaker 32: Never stop being a dad. That's dedication. Find out more
- 1:00:32Speaker 32: at fatherhood dot gov, brought to you by the US
- 1:00:35Speaker 32: Department of Health and Human Services and the AD Council.
- 1:00:43Speaker 32: Enough enough, I had why so serious, sing we hold
- 1:00:49Speaker 32: the world?
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Bransom for me, excuse me while I wiped this house
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: broadcasting live and it led her to a job with this.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: It's a Sports with Wayne you show.
- 1:01:10Speaker 29: Comes.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: I'm yeah, I'm.
- 1:01:20Speaker 33: Gonna go on the way you.
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: Welcome back to the Sport Shock Show. I'm the Sports
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you back producer, Big Kenny,
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: command you Greg All in the studio.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: Whip me.
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: We are gonna get to a couple of comments here
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: real quickly, I said. Big Kenny said that Uncle Charlie, Uh,
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: he says he's gonna make an offer for spirit.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Nah. He said that a black man did make an
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: offer for spirit. He's talking about hisself. You know, you're
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: talking person. Yeah, yeah, I like that.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: He's somewhere like Uncle Charlie said, go ahead and buy
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: Spirit Airlines. He was wondering it's still possible to purchase
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: spear of Airlines, so he gave us a clue that
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: it's actually him. We got a grand rising from Kubaza Howthorne,
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: we got Elder Casey Lamar Huey Sr. Said that he
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: thinks in the future that going to the White House
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: may be a part of the contract, kind of like
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: doing interviews, like the sports leagues have made that mandatory,
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: and he feels like that might be necessary in the future.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: And then he also said it's like at his job
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: when they have Christmas parties. I don't go because I
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: don't celebrate, but some do. It's encouraged, but not mandatory.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: Some people try to say that that it's encouraged is
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: dressed like it's somehow you're under threat of retaliation if
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: you don't show up. And then he also says that
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: what Uncle Charlie said just shut up and dribble.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: I think that was relation to Steve Smith, but uh.
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: And then el the case, he says he believes that
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: all affairs are intentional, so that accidental affairs, and.
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: He also said hell no, hell no, yeah, yeah, I
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: was just joking about that Yeah, I thought, yeah, he
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: was just yeah, I'm sure, yeah.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I don't think you can accidentally affair nothing.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: It happened. You know what I'm saying, You be out
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: there again. You just you you you stumble and the
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: next thing, you know, three years later. I like the elder,
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: I might need to know what his church he got.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: So guess how he got a word.
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: Spoke on being at the Hawks game. They played Detroit
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: last night. Kay Cunningham, what a great talent he is
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: for Detroit going about thirty eight.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: It was a great game. It was no defense.
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: I think the final school was one forty three, so
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: you thought she was at an all star game. But Kay,
- 1:03:52Speaker 6: trade a lot of guys playing some great basketball. Ashton
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: Genty was in here. The young man is getting ready
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: for the draft to combine started yesterday. Gent was the
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: leading rusher in the country, put up historic numbers. Was
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: Ashton gent should be a first round pick for someone.
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: As we can see, the running back is coming back
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: alive and the bad producer's boy was in there, justin
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: fields in there first, I'm telling you that produce of
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: the The first thing is the haircut, because you got
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: you're supposed to be leading men, and you're sitting in
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: here with like your hair looking like it got Baretts
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: on it. And when the person was pointing him out,
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: I looked over and I almost couldn't see him because
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: I was looking for a man, and I saw the
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: guy with the Barretts.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I mean a little but traditionally, no for four years,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Justin Fields like twenty five, twenty six, I don't give
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: him one and got six kids.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: Traditionally brenched even for men who wore their hair in braids.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Were he was, he was looking like old dog, remember
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Old Dog from the movie Society. That's how I was
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: looking over like. And remember we're talking about Justin Field.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Were talking about young man who's stacked.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: Now we're talking about he has a body, you know
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: you can see physically, and why someone would be like, okay,
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: he looks like like he can do what he's done.
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: But let me say this, I just didn't take him
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: serious as a leader when I looked over.
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: We're talking about when we're talking about sound judgment reference,
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: old dog really says it all. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: When you're talking about how somebody you're gonna he remind
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: you an old dog with that. Yeah, that's it. That's
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: enough right for me last night.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what he looks. That's him. Does he look
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: like he out to tell me, tell me what to
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: do in the huddle? Listen, listen, everybody, you listen.
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: Block You just push him. You don't let him come
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: in on me like that. You push him off, and
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: then you go to the first turn and you turn
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: and the ball will be pow right there on three one,
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: two three break.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Should do it. Sanders has decided that he will not
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: work out at the combine. This is not a decision
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: that is new.
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: A lot of your early first rounders will go and
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: do everything except uh, the working out part of the deal.
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: He's going to do it when he goes back to campus,
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: you know which. Everybody's going to show up to his
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: pro date when they have that. When you talk about Schaduur,
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: Travis Hunter, Shiloh, we talked about Shiloh not being even invited,
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: so it'll be a great day for him as well.
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: Should's brother, older brother but by a year, who plays safety.
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: Just one of those guys. I'm big. I like I
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: like the way that the physicality of Shiloh and that's
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: why I'm always pumping him up because I've seen guys
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: like him get skipped over.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: They are. There are those cases where some people are
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: just football players. They're not. It don't really make sense.
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: You can't actually see why they are making the play right,
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: but for some reason they can't.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: They just make the play.
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: So it's interesting that some people are just football players
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: and they don't do a lot of flashy self promotion,
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: that kind of thing. I saw a story over the
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: weekend that suggested that I think it was Brandon used
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: to wide receiver for the Marshall Brandon, Brandon Marshall, Brandon Marshall,
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: Brandon Marshall, I'm sorry. Uh said that he thought Shaudur's profile,
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: his image, might make some teams pass on him because
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: they don't want the Barretts in the locker room. They
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: you out here leading men supposed to be taking you serious,
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: and you've always come across as someone who's not focused.
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: And so you know that may play into Shiloh's favor
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: that he hadn't been seen.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: By a lot of people.
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: Yes, so we will see how shade from what they're
- 1:08:30Speaker 6: saying is. And the thing where people keep going back is,
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: does Schadere have a pro arm, because then if he doesn't,
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: then you have to put him in a certain system.
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: And I know it's a thin line of what I'm
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: talking about. There is a pro arm and then there
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: guys that you know how Kirk throws the ball. Now
- 1:09:02Speaker 6: at his age, right, you can tell oh, okay, the
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: bullets are low in that gun. It don't have any
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: That's how your door throws the ball. And he's only
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: twenty two. He has good decision, he has great touch,
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: but it's not any.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: It's gonna spun it before it gets it. Gotta be
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: an easy orbit.
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: You know, someone like Michael Vick when he threw the ball,
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: if it went by your helmet, made a noise.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Hear it.
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: Now, imagine a ball spending at a level that you
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: actually hear it while you're blocking, and then it's going
- 1:09:47Speaker 6: that was halfway while nobody to catch it. You gotta
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: pull a little bit off that baby. That's too much, man,
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: you Doug Williams. You could think it was famously man.
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: You're throwing the ball too hard.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Doug.
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: I'm five yards away from you, man, and you knocking
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: me down. Go look at the early take. Doug used
- 1:10:03Speaker 6: to throw the ball so It's just it's a seven
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: yard slant man. You can't throw me the ball shader
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: has arm more like a Drew Brees. So it still
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: be he still should be in the top ten. It's
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: no knock, but you have some based on the teams
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: that get leary of that, based on what kind of
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: style they run. Drew Brees has to be in a
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: certain offense because of that arm talent, it is not.
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: It's more decision making touch. You know, Joe Montana didn't
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: have like a big cannon. That's why coming out of
- 1:10:43Speaker 6: college he was a little because it wasn't there whereas
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: a Jeff George. You know, you can make TV commercials
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: about how far Jeff George threw the ball. It was legendary.
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: He could just flat footed, stand on the end zone
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: and throw to the other end zone.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Who does that? You know?
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: But he had no touch on the ball. You could
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: just throw it far, go ahead back comettion.
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: Well, in that case, isn't like, oh he doesn't have
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: a pro Or isn't that like a little overstated then,
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: because if if he doesn't have this pro arm, but
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: he could still be a top ten pick. I know
- 1:11:24Speaker 7: that may depend on more of like the team that
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: may be in position like, oh, he may be a
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: fit for our team, But then I still think that's
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: a little overstated to try to just to knock him
- 1:11:38Speaker 7: down a few a few slots, like it was talking
- 1:11:41Speaker 7: to him being the number one pick last week and
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: now and now and then number three and now it
- 1:11:49Speaker 7: could be ten and now you know, first round. Remember
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: if you if you have to tag videos arm, then
- 1:11:58Speaker 7: I have to find quick, shifty guys.
- 1:12:03Speaker 6: I have to run a certain scheme. The plays have
- 1:12:07Speaker 6: to be a little different, the receivers have to be
- 1:12:10Speaker 6: a little different. It's all.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: They get Lamar Jackson, deep threat, more deep threat guys.
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: Patrick Mahomes has a solid arm. It's brilliantly made for football.
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: But it's not you don't ever see him load the cannon.
- 1:12:29Speaker 6: It's more touch. It's more he can throw it at
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: any angle. He doesn't have to actually have his feet set.
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: He can just flip the ball, you know. But it's
- 1:12:37Speaker 6: not that you know, go deep all the time kind
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: of arm. So that's what I'm saying. He's top pick.
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: But whoever's at the top, like the who is Tennessee, Yes,
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: I don't know who the offensive coordinator or what system.
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: But his arm might not fit what they're trying to do.
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: That doesn't mean that it's not a pro arm. It
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: means that I have to fashion. It's just like the
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: difference between a Marshall Falk and Jamal Lewis. It's two
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: different blocking schemes. Does that make.
- 1:13:16Speaker 10: Jamal more downhill Marshall? He just needs a little bit
- 1:13:20Speaker 10: he can get through.
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: It's two different and so what kind of are you
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: running power or you're running his zone? It's not you know,
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: it's one of those kind of systems. So I'm just
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: trying to explain it. That you might read things about
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: his arm doesn't mean he's not going to be drafted high,
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: or it just means might be the difference between him
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: and Cam war They might see Cam with a better arm,
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: not better decision making or better touch, just more arm
- 1:13:51Speaker 6: strength from the routes that they want to run. We'll
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.

- 1:26:33Speaker 6: shock Queen Gandy, Good morning to you. We left talking
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: about kitten k I T t e n fishing.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: It is a version of cat fishing, guys. Uh, it
- 1:26:47Speaker 6: is cat fishing. Basically white lye cat fishing sosidered being
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: fully lying to you as if I was catfishing. See,
- 1:27:03Speaker 6: catfishing is when I fully make you think I'm somebody else.
- 1:27:08Speaker 6: Kidden fishing is when I'm just kind of somebody else.
- 1:27:14Speaker 4: So conspiracy, I'm not actually distributing drug you just say
- 1:27:19Speaker 4: that it looked like I was bagging it up to
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: sell it.
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: That's what you're saying. I'm saying, if I was catfishing you,
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: really nothing I told you was true.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: But I am from Illinois. But if I'm kiddenfishing you,
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: I am black and I'm from Illinois. Now I don't
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: play for everything else one part true. Yeah, I told
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: you some truth.
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: So I'm black, I'm from Illinois, but I don't play
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: for the Bears. I'm not up for the Hall of Fame.
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: But that's cool because I am black and from Illinois.
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: That's were moving the need looking.
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: If I lie to you a little bit white, I'm
- 1:28:10Speaker 6: still lost on my profile.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: Six two because I'm because I really because part of
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: it was true, like a person. That's how positive. Catfish
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: be true is true, That's what I'm saying. That's the
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: they got a stock market. That's true. I did go
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: to Auburn, and that's what I'm saying, but not as
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: a college student. I just went. I just went. We're
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: on the campus one day.
- 1:28:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I went to Auburn, and I do play the
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: stock market because I don't know what I'm doing.
- 1:28:48Speaker 6: So for you out there, some of you are just
- 1:28:51Speaker 6: being kitten fish? Is that not regular cat? It made
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: me it's either using artificial bait alive. That's all I
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: try to relate to think that regular life though.
- 1:29:04Speaker 7: It's there are concierge for a high end restaurant, a
- 1:29:10Speaker 7: mobile concierge for a high end restaurant, but that actually
- 1:29:13Speaker 7: means door dash.
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: Right there, right there. But I am on the high end,
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: of course, because I only delivered Morton's New York Jimmy subway.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: I'm only coming from house. We have to come up
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: with a name for that just lies, just lies. Though
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: called white lives, white lives.
- 1:29:37Speaker 6: Soft lies. It was called I didn't totally tell you lie.
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: You to God told man tale. He was a whole
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: nother person.
- 1:29:49Speaker 10: See that's that's now I'm getting it, because you know
- 1:29:53Speaker 10: they say you either tell a lie or you telling
- 1:29:55Speaker 10: the story.
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: That's the truth. If you're just telling the story, you're
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: not incess. Harry Lyon, I don't understand.
- 1:30:04Speaker 4: The man party when he found out when he's still
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: cool with it, like you, he was supposed to be
- 1:30:09Speaker 4: somebody else.
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: This the real you, all right, built the friendship by
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: then with who So that was.
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: But but if you're kidding fishing basically almost just being
- 1:30:21Speaker 6: a modern day woman, right, because those are your eyelashes
- 1:30:28Speaker 6: and that's not your but that's not your hair.
- 1:30:31Speaker 10: That is k that's because it's not catfishing all the way,
- 1:30:35Speaker 10: because you are a version of you're not cat fishing.
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: But that's not really all of it.
- 1:30:41Speaker 4: Does it go for your actions as well, because, like
- 1:30:43Speaker 4: Charlie says, so in the strip club, but I don't
- 1:30:47Speaker 4: know why, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, he's right,
- 1:30:50Speaker 4: you're right, that's the version that's that king fishing. I
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: almost stripper, that's what they telling you. I'm in the
- 1:31:01Speaker 4: strip club dancer. So my wife asked me, will you
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: be in the flame?
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: Why?
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: Crazy? I don't know how it happens. I am driving
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: a lambo, but it's not Mine's a rental. You're just right.
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: I guess that would be kitten. If you don't, if
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: you don't mention that it's a rental, Yeah, that's cat,
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: you're still lying and you make it like something that
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: hey I'm just bringing learned. Here we go, here we
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: word cat right now.
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: The case is said, it's the in quotations, intent of
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: the heart. Intent in quotations you are trying to be
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: deceptive in any way the day you are lying, if
- 1:31:39Speaker 4: you're trying to be deceptive case, but I would think
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: that I'm driving a Lambo that I don't say, I'm
- 1:31:45Speaker 4: written it's trying to be deceptive.
- 1:31:47Speaker 6: It's trying to be you're trying to deceive Uheedless. Speaking
- 1:31:52Speaker 6: of lambos, Carson Beck, the new Miami quarterback, his three
- 1:31:58Speaker 6: hundred thousand dollars Lambeau old Lamborghini, and his girlfriend Hannah Cavender.
- 1:32:04Speaker 6: I remember he dates one of the Cavender twins. Both
- 1:32:08Speaker 6: of them had their vehicles stolen from their residents. They
- 1:32:13Speaker 6: did find one of the thieves. I'm quite sure they're
- 1:32:17Speaker 6: going to get him to turn. But it seems like
- 1:32:21Speaker 6: from film or video that it was about four people
- 1:32:26Speaker 6: that broke in. They stole two cars.
- 1:32:32Speaker 12: And some of this.
- 1:32:33Speaker 6: I guess these young people, that's one aspect we didn't
- 1:32:35Speaker 6: think about college kids. Still there were in that age
- 1:32:41Speaker 6: where they're a little more freer about how they go about.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: Allowing access to their homes and things.
- 1:32:50Speaker 6: And I'm sure remember you still have friends, and you
- 1:32:53Speaker 6: know you're not so leary about who comes. It's almost
- 1:33:01Speaker 6: more open imitation when you're in those college agents.
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: We're having a kickback, and whoever shows up shows up.
- 1:33:09Speaker 4: I think it's interesting that Carson Beck has a lambo,
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: and you know, I think that's the most interesting part
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: about this whole stories. He ain't been drafted nowhere and
- 1:33:19Speaker 4: they were able to So you got drafted.
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: To the Miami Hurricane. Yeah, welcome to me.
- 1:33:23Speaker 6: I well, you know, so I would say with any
- 1:33:31Speaker 6: of these are some of the lessons we have to learn,
- 1:33:33Speaker 6: because I just know, as we all know, went to college,
- 1:33:38Speaker 6: you are a little more there's a keg, there's no
- 1:33:41Speaker 6: one really monitoring the door, no kind of mindset.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: When you're in college, you're a little more freer. It's
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: even if you went back now into college tailgates they
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: don't really have. If you just don some of the
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: gear of the college you in, you can go there
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: and get you something to eat, typically by the you know,
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: a couple of drinks. And all you gotta know is
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: one familiar name of anybody might be associated with anybody's friends.
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm Ted, Ted's friend. You know Ted from
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: Coca Cola.
- 1:34:15Speaker 6: Oh come, and that's just how those you know, now
- 1:34:17Speaker 6: you come to these protail gates, you get pushed up
- 1:34:21Speaker 6: against the van.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: Hold on, man, put your hand on the wall. Let
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: us see your past, let us scan the back.
- 1:34:29Speaker 7: There was a little bit of kitten fishing going on.
- 1:34:32Speaker 7: Apparently the lambo is a rental.
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: Oh, his lambo was a rental. But even have the
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: money to rent a lambo? Dead college to say that,
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: or it could be at least.
- 1:34:46Speaker 7: He's reportedly renting okay, which means that renting means a
- 1:34:52Speaker 7: monthly fee.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: So steel.
- 1:34:58Speaker 6: And the insurance on that to be Carson Beckett's twenty
- 1:35:01Speaker 6: three Yeah, and some nice insurance but.
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: Hopefully yeah, because they're people.
- 1:35:09Speaker 4: At twenty three, nobody saw anything of value at my house,
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying. There was nobody coming to
- 1:35:14Speaker 4: steal anything.
- 1:35:15Speaker 6: Yeah, and that's what I'm saying. It sounds like these
- 1:35:17Speaker 6: but now these people did sneak up on them, because
- 1:35:19Speaker 6: they're even charging in with Robbing somebody while they're at
- 1:35:24Speaker 6: home is an even higher crime. So for you thieves
- 1:35:28Speaker 6: out there, it might not know that stealing the car
- 1:35:32Speaker 6: when I'm home is a higher penaldy. When stealing the
- 1:35:37Speaker 6: car and I'm not home, yeah, elevate the charge.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: They elevate the charges because the person was at the
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: resident right right. So, and we've all seen that go
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: horribly wrong too many times. Yeah, so it puts more
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: people in situation.
- 1:35:52Speaker 6: There is an anonymous JTS Jets Jets player that.
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: They say was followed and robbed.
- 1:35:59Speaker 4: Yeah, they had followed all the way from Manhattan to
- 1:36:04Speaker 4: somewhere in New Jersey.
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: Which means he was gambling. It had to be.
- 1:36:08Speaker 6: That's typically how that those kind of cases. We saw
- 1:36:11Speaker 6: this with a lot of the NBA players maybe eight
- 1:36:14Speaker 6: ten years ago. A lot of times when this is happening,
- 1:36:18Speaker 6: what you're getting is guys that were gambling somewhere where
- 1:36:23Speaker 6: somebody was gauging that you actually had it on you
- 1:36:28Speaker 6: what they were looking for, whether it was the jury
- 1:36:31Speaker 6: or the watch or the money, that they already got
- 1:36:34Speaker 6: us a look at you, right and.
- 1:36:39Speaker 4: Followed you because they were because if you got that
- 1:36:42Speaker 4: on you, then surely you've got more at home.
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: And they and they robbed him before he got to
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: his home, right right, So they had already And I
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: just remember a couple of those basketball places some guys
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: were getting followed. Remember when poker everybody couldn't get enough
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: of poker. They were playing it everywhere, and you can
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: find a game, poker game basically anywhere. A lot of
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: those guys were getting followed and set up. You got
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: what you're playing with. You got to know who's at
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: the game.
- 1:37:13Speaker 6: So when I read this, I was like, Okay, this
- 1:37:15Speaker 6: is where somebody. This wasn't casual, this was more. He
- 1:37:20Speaker 6: was already identified, and.
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: We can get him. We catch him before he gets
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: to so and because that's a long distance to follow something,
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: follow him.
- 1:37:29Speaker 6: To where the cars start dying down and darker. And
- 1:37:33Speaker 6: where they got him.
- 1:37:35Speaker 4: It was in a community looked like a private condo
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: community where the residences were closed. A lot of these
- 1:37:41Speaker 4: people are hoping to catch you going into a private
- 1:37:44Speaker 4: residence with some space around it.
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: In that way they try and do the home invasion
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: thing on top of the robbing you.
- 1:37:51Speaker 6: And something about them not saying the person's name. I like, well,
- 1:37:56Speaker 6: whoever business it is, that's their business.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: I liked that.
- 1:38:00Speaker 6: I'm quite sure as the story breede, somebody will you
- 1:38:04Speaker 6: know tmz it. But at least for right now, nobody
- 1:38:10Speaker 6: knows who this player was. And we'll be back with
- 1:38:12Speaker 6: more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: And I've been my calls and I've been my mother
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: clar suicide. Don't brook like mum. Everybody know me and
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: the club me.

- 1:38:32Speaker 34: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 1:38:34Speaker 34: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:38:38Speaker 34: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 1:38:41Speaker 34: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 1:38:45Speaker 34: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 1:38:49Speaker 34: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 1:38:52Speaker 34: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it isn't
- 1:38:54Speaker 34: ad to make you think twice. Get the facts. Go

- 1:39:02Speaker 31: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 1:39:05Speaker 31: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 1:39:08Speaker 31: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes where
- 1:39:11Speaker 31: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 1:39:14Speaker 31: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 1:39:17Speaker 31: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 1:39:20Speaker 31: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 1:39:24Speaker 31: a positive. I knew I needed more tools on my
- 1:39:27Speaker 31: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 1:39:31Speaker 31: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 1:39:33Speaker 31: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 1:39:36Speaker 31: being that good role model as well. That model's good
- 1:39:39Speaker 31: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 1:39:42Speaker 31: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 1:39:45Speaker 31: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 1:39:48Speaker 31: and watching your kids be happy.

- 1:40:34Speaker 28: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy locks
- 1:40:59Speaker 28: you concern a sports jaint. I'll sing even Ny Wing.
- 1:41:05Speaker 6: Back to this Moore shock Shue, this sport shock Wing Gandy.
- 1:41:10Speaker 6: A couple of reports that the end of an era
- 1:41:13Speaker 6: is nearing, and that would be that Hooters is close
- 1:41:21Speaker 6: to filing Chapter eleven bankruptcy.
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: Guys.
- 1:41:28Speaker 6: Hooters something that took our country by storm in the
- 1:41:33Speaker 6: mid eighties, and you kind of saw this when they
- 1:41:39Speaker 6: went through all those legal situations.
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: That they had.
- 1:41:42Speaker 6: People were suing them for all kinds of acts. You
- 1:41:47Speaker 6: had women groups for the nudity what they deemed nudity enticement.
- 1:41:54Speaker 6: Even was in court about the side the bra size, Yes,
- 1:42:00Speaker 6: one time, trying to say with body shaming discrimination for
- 1:42:05Speaker 6: requiring a certain broths size. Now, which was always interesting
- 1:42:10Speaker 6: because the places are saying Hooters. It was built around
- 1:42:14Speaker 6: that and to be able to be taking the court
- 1:42:17Speaker 6: for the thing that I actually named name.
- 1:42:20Speaker 4: The name of the name of my restaurant is is
- 1:42:23Speaker 4: big Breasts. You want me, you wan't take me in
- 1:42:29Speaker 4: a cop No, the name of the places I deserve,
- 1:42:34Speaker 4: I deserve the work.
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: It's a chicken restaurant that serves only chicken breast.
- 1:42:40Speaker 4: That's delivered to your table by women with big chicken breast.
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: So why are we having this discussion.
- 1:42:47Speaker 4: It was cool for fifteen years America, y'all let me
- 1:42:50Speaker 4: ride with it. Thirty five years Hooters.
- 1:42:55Speaker 6: Hooters got so big that they were everywhere that last
- 1:42:59Speaker 6: call the card and NASCAR. They were used to sponsor
- 1:43:03Speaker 6: football games.
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: You had to golf, had the Hooters Golf Tour.
- 1:43:06Speaker 6: It was places that even recently at Auburn, Hooters I
- 1:43:12Speaker 6: think maybe four years ago or five years ago. They
- 1:43:18Speaker 6: gave all the old linemen at Auburn like some when
- 1:43:22Speaker 6: they first started deal so to find out and they
- 1:43:28Speaker 6: are scarce now something that you could find now you
- 1:43:32Speaker 6: have to drive a little distance if you don't live
- 1:43:34Speaker 6: in the right area to find Hooters. I know here
- 1:43:38Speaker 6: in Atlanta, just downtown area period, it was like three
- 1:43:42Speaker 6: Now you kind of have to go.
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: Out Georgia way.
- 1:43:48Speaker 4: But it's interesting also in addition to some of the
- 1:43:53Speaker 4: sensibilities changing the competition and the UH co opting the platforms.
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: So you've got twin peaks.
- 1:44:02Speaker 4: Well, first you got the twisted killed, which is short
- 1:44:06Speaker 4: skirts and women that are a little thicker on the bottom.
- 1:44:09Speaker 4: Then you came up with twin peaks with the hot pants,
- 1:44:13Speaker 4: and so now you got it on the top and
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: the bottom, and you add axe to it. So a
- 1:44:20Speaker 4: lot of the concept has been uh changed and revamped.
- 1:44:26Speaker 4: And I think we're going to see all of them
- 1:44:28Speaker 4: going the way that Hooters is going, because everyone has
- 1:44:31Speaker 4: a problem with i mean, women being judged by how
- 1:44:35Speaker 4: they look.
- 1:44:36Speaker 10: But you know, Hooters used to have a big contest
- 1:44:38Speaker 10: out of Vegas. They had the calendar, had the hotel,
- 1:44:41Speaker 10: had the whole I mean the whole.
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: Thing in Vegas. At one point they're still the Hooters
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: sauce at the grocery store.
- 1:44:51Speaker 6: And you get the flower. You know a lot about it.
- 1:44:55Speaker 6: Excited about this Hooters, Hooters golf bag something. Now I
- 1:44:59Speaker 6: got who working Hooters on peach tree. He all in
- 1:45:04Speaker 6: the Drake lyrics with it, the flower.
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: When you want to bread chicken, you get the flower too.
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: With I had no idea, nobody know about what you
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: You got the flowers.
- 1:45:16Speaker 6: That's on the dark. Well man, the three of us
- 1:45:21Speaker 6: to have no clue. No, don't bring me none. I'm
- 1:45:28Speaker 6: gonna ask my plugs about it. Hey, let me get
- 1:45:31Speaker 6: some of that Hooters flower.
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: Get that.
- 1:45:36Speaker 4: Listen, not to bring me none of that. Now, tell
- 1:45:39Speaker 4: him bring me a band. You know, I sprinkling on something.
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: Something y'all mixing up there in the plains of North Carolina.
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: It was created in Georgia, you know, of course, sir,
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: was it? I thought it was in Jacksonville.
- 1:45:55Speaker 10: But with Jacksonville, Florida, I mean, excuse me, Jacksonville bottom
- 1:46:00Speaker 10: Georgia right there that I thought the family was out
- 1:46:02Speaker 10: of that, like Warner Robins area.
- 1:46:03Speaker 6: Originally because I've been with a friends Warner Robinsons or
- 1:46:08Speaker 6: not even close to each other.
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: Man that part of Georgia's Florida that far down. Warner
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: Robinson's right there, not Florida. No, well, tiffton listen.
- 1:46:20Speaker 6: I don't know if we drove around the state, but
- 1:46:22Speaker 6: Warner Robinson is on the west side of Georgia, close
- 1:46:26Speaker 6: to Auburn.
- 1:46:27Speaker 1: I don't know. I know they got some family members
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: that it's tied. Jacksonville is on the far east.
- 1:46:34Speaker 6: I've been to a Hooters opening, so and I could
- 1:46:38Speaker 6: have sworn Hooters was invented in Florida. You probably be Florida.
- 1:46:43Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what they I just
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: know that I went to a grand opening to one
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: in Warner Robins. So you know I was.
- 1:46:52Speaker 6: That was twenty years that was on the dark web. Man,
- 1:46:54Speaker 6: y'all was on virtual reality. That didn't really happen.
- 1:46:58Speaker 4: That dude sounds like he be confessing the stuff that
- 1:47:00Speaker 4: might still not have passed limitation.
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: Like, hey, you know somebody on some lit we got
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: him name, but that hounds on nineteen forty one, still
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: jumping somebody like I said, man, don't bring me no flour.
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: I got you gonna bring it anyway. Plexico Burds has
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: to go to break. Plexico put his ring up for sale,
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: a Super Bowl ring, and it says that it fetched
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: two hundred and eighty thousand dollars.
- 1:47:38Speaker 6: Was that Super Bowl ring? And if you know, it's
- 1:47:40Speaker 6: some infamy to Plexico with the case where he was
- 1:47:44Speaker 6: playing with the Giants and was the Giants or Jets
- 1:47:47Speaker 6: that he's playing with Giants the Jets shot himself the Jets,
- 1:47:53Speaker 6: but then he went to the Jets the next year, right,
- 1:47:55Speaker 6: but he didn't.
- 1:47:55Speaker 4: Shoot itself there, sir, thank you, thank you. That's all
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: I'm saying. I'm saying what I'm saying. But Flex was
- 1:48:06Speaker 4: my teammate in Pittsburgh for three years. Shot, unshot, shot
- 1:48:11Speaker 4: three whole year. That's all I'm saying.
- 1:48:14Speaker 6: Something might be in the system up there in New York,
- 1:48:17Speaker 6: but the time, I'm quite sure that's what played into
- 1:48:20Speaker 6: the price of the ring they were selling. They were
- 1:48:24Speaker 6: playing on that. They didn't say why he sold it,
- 1:48:26Speaker 6: but the auction house definitely.
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: Hey, hey, man, don't be showing me stuff on the screen,
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: because that makes melable compliable.
- 1:48:35Speaker 4: This ring was worn on my hand, he held a
- 1:48:38Speaker 4: gun and when he shot himself, So.
- 1:48:45Speaker 7: I go to my head.

- 1:50:36Speaker 19: When I was forty, with a kid in college and

- 1:51:13Speaker 13: dot com. And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy.
- 1:51:23Speaker 30: It's time for the school board when we put a
- 1:51:26Speaker 30: spin on life and sports and how they intermingle.
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy. Walk back
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: to this horse stock show.
- 1:51:54Speaker 6: I'm this horse shock, Wayne Gandy, fresh no State basketball.
- 1:52:00Speaker 6: They have removed one player, suspended two other am gambling investigation.
- 1:52:05Speaker 6: And we've talked about this so much just here in
- 1:52:07Speaker 6: twenty twenty five. And like I said, some things in
- 1:52:11Speaker 6: our lives, regardless of what age you are right now
- 1:52:15Speaker 6: as I speak, everything that our forefathers put into place.
- 1:52:23Speaker 1: Was not wrong.
- 1:52:26Speaker 6: Because we got some phone or laptop that we can
- 1:52:30Speaker 6: touch and quickly. Everything they had in place wasn't wrong.
- 1:52:35Speaker 6: And I say that from the idea it was a
- 1:52:38Speaker 6: reason why they went out of their way to put
- 1:52:43Speaker 6: sports on one side of the world and gambling on
- 1:52:48Speaker 6: the other. Wow, most of you think they were trying
- 1:52:53Speaker 6: to hate or discriminate time or divide and conquer.
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: Y'all got some conspire. See how all this came while
- 1:53:02Speaker 1: the Pharaoh walked through Egypt. Look at your neighbor and conspiracy.
- 1:53:08Speaker 1: Y'all had all these reasons as though these people hadn't
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: already gone through this and realize, man, you know what
- 1:53:16Speaker 1: this gamele We can't get the gambling and the sport together.
- 1:53:23Speaker 4: Because man is corrupt, and a corrupt man will throw
- 1:53:30Speaker 4: a game, and it's game, and it's too many points
- 1:53:33Speaker 4: of entry. We ain't got to just block one or
- 1:53:35Speaker 4: two entry.
- 1:53:36Speaker 6: Everybody plays spades trying to figure out how they can cheat.
- 1:53:42Speaker 6: Everyone is sitting that. That's why some people forget.
- 1:53:46Speaker 1: What makes me a great spades player, right is I
- 1:53:49Speaker 1: spend most of my time at the table trying to
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: figure out how you gonna cheat, because you can't tend
- 1:53:55Speaker 1: to win without some level and especially when you know
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: the personality is like a big Kenny and a bad producer.
- 1:54:05Speaker 1: Look at him.
- 1:54:06Speaker 6: I'm coming to rob the game. I don't real need
- 1:54:10Speaker 6: I'm waiting on you. I'm waiting till this well, you
- 1:54:15Speaker 6: might be dealing from the bottom of the deck. You're
- 1:54:17Speaker 6: sending signals. I'm waiting till it's poking night. Keep telling you,
- 1:54:22Speaker 6: keep making that same old Twin joke. We're going We're
- 1:54:28Speaker 6: going to club.
- 1:54:28Speaker 1: What that means, man, I ain't been to the club
- 1:54:31Speaker 1: in about ten years.
- 1:54:32Speaker 4: Okay, okay, exactly. I went to that big club. I
- 1:54:37Speaker 4: went to that big club.
- 1:54:40Speaker 1: What about that diamond you got your I was I
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: was drinking that.
- 1:54:44Speaker 6: For you people out there that just have decided that
- 1:54:48Speaker 6: the world's colliding, it's gonna be good. Getting comfortable with
- 1:54:55Speaker 6: kids getting thrown out of school, professional sports, swayers being arrested.
- 1:55:03Speaker 6: Just get comfortable with that, because that's what the form
- 1:55:08Speaker 6: of gambling and sports, all those shit. Those people couldn't
- 1:55:14Speaker 6: have been. They wanted to make money, they knew they
- 1:55:17Speaker 6: could make money. But people are trying to fix the
- 1:55:20Speaker 6: horse race.
- 1:55:21Speaker 1: It wasn't just the mafiel And I know in the
- 1:55:24Speaker 1: movie that they make it seem like, oh, man, was
- 1:55:28Speaker 1: anybody raising a horse? It was, hey, man, you know
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: Tony gonna be riding that horse tomorrow, Tony Tony. Yeah, man,
- 1:55:38Speaker 1: let me talk to Tony.
- 1:55:42Speaker 4: All I need you to do all I need you.
- 1:55:44Speaker 4: I ain't telling you to lose the race. I'm just
- 1:55:47Speaker 4: telling you, don't win.
- 1:55:49Speaker 1: It so fast. Don't yeah, don't by too much.
- 1:55:52Speaker 6: And I just when I saw this, I'm like, man,
- 1:55:55Speaker 6: it's now a cop coming weekly. We're going to colleges
- 1:55:59Speaker 6: that nobody's even tuned in to think about the schools
- 1:56:03Speaker 6: we've been talking about. In twenty twenty five, we got
- 1:56:05Speaker 6: Eastern Michigan. When the last time you saw Eastern Michigan anything,
- 1:56:12Speaker 6: the professor did something the line I saw.
- 1:56:16Speaker 7: In the football field because it's great. They got great
- 1:56:18Speaker 7: turf Fresno State. I ain't watched Radio State sits past
- 1:56:22Speaker 7: the bull.
- 1:56:22Speaker 1: Dogs, Marshall, somebody played football there also.
- 1:56:28Speaker 4: But that's I'm thing you gotta to start doing exactly.
- 1:56:31Speaker 4: The points of entry are too varied. You It's not
- 1:56:35Speaker 4: like we just have to block this person from accessing
- 1:56:38Speaker 4: that team. It's everywhere. Now I can go to anybody
- 1:56:43Speaker 4: playing any sport and go listen man, all I need
- 1:56:47Speaker 4: you to do for me and yourself.
- 1:56:50Speaker 6: And it was always gonna be the schools that have
- 1:56:53Speaker 6: the least lights on them when you put these things
- 1:56:57Speaker 6: in line.
- 1:56:58Speaker 1: The money is not made on Alabama Georgia. They're just
- 1:57:04Speaker 1: giving two for one. That ain't you know? We ain't
- 1:57:06Speaker 1: coming up no, no, but this this Fresno State versus
- 1:57:13Speaker 1: U con game.
- 1:57:15Speaker 7: What no, you STU school? Oh that's too big. That'd
- 1:57:19Speaker 7: be like Fresno State and Long State. Yeah, Long Beach
- 1:57:27Speaker 7: that matter matter of fact, the.
- 1:57:31Speaker 4: Combined one of the combined scores expected to be one
- 1:57:35Speaker 4: hundred points.
- 1:57:35Speaker 1: And like, hey man, just keeping the ninety eight.
- 1:57:37Speaker 6: And also because these young men and women are at
- 1:57:43Speaker 6: smaller schools where yes, they might have a an l deal.
- 1:57:47Speaker 6: But just like big Kenney alluded to, Carson Beck has
- 1:57:54Speaker 6: a Lamborghini. Yeah, man, I'm trying to get that rented
- 1:57:58Speaker 6: or owned rented.
- 1:58:00Speaker 1: He's still paying probably about forty five hundred dollars a
- 1:58:05Speaker 1: month and that don't even include insurance. But you rented,
- 1:58:10Speaker 1: you get they give me. I thought, no not always
- 1:58:14Speaker 1: want to chime in. We ain't talking about huh Enterprise,
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: due Culture Exotics, Supercar were talking about well, I don't recall,
- 1:58:26Speaker 1: so I don't know.
- 1:58:27Speaker 6: I mean, that's why you shouldn't chime in. You just
- 1:58:29Speaker 6: adding in some stuff you ain't even like, we ain't
- 1:58:33Speaker 6: at Avis, This ain't no OJ commercial.
- 1:58:36Speaker 1: I can't run limbo from.
- 1:58:41Speaker 9: You.
- 1:58:41Speaker 7: Let us know if you see a lambo at Avis
- 1:58:44Speaker 7: or enterprise that they let somebody actually.
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: Leave with.
- 1:58:52Speaker 6: And my last point was that these players see and
- 1:58:55Speaker 6: as I said, like I'm saying like Biginning alluding to
- 1:59:00Speaker 6: I'm not asking you to lose the game. Once you
- 1:59:06Speaker 6: hit them with that, their ears are wide open. Because
- 1:59:10Speaker 6: a person's biggest fear is you're gonna ask them to lose.
- 1:59:15Speaker 6: Because I want you to wait till the seventh round
- 1:59:18Speaker 6: to knock him Mountain.
- 1:59:20Speaker 1: Wait, wait, because I got too much pride, I got
- 1:59:23Speaker 1: too much fear to lose the match.
- 1:59:26Speaker 4: Wait now you're saying I can because now I got
- 1:59:28Speaker 4: twelve rounds in me. I was planning to take him
- 1:59:31Speaker 4: in fall. Now I need you to carry him the
- 1:59:34Speaker 4: seventh You saying I ain't got to do soon as
- 1:59:38Speaker 4: the seventh bell ring, when I come out, I can
- 1:59:41Speaker 4: drop drop it.
- 1:59:42Speaker 1: But I got to go to a second selven.
- 1:59:44Speaker 6: Because that's why I'm placing the meal, and I'm gonna
- 1:59:48Speaker 6: place a meal on that, and I'm gonna give you
- 1:59:51Speaker 6: two hundred grand.
- 1:59:52Speaker 1: Wait now, if I win, they say, here's one hundred
- 1:59:55Speaker 1: grand right here. The winner only get one fifty. That's what.
- 2:00:02Speaker 1: So wait now you say seventh round, I can drop.
- 2:00:04Speaker 6: Him like two steps bam, and here go one hundred
- 2:00:07Speaker 6: stacks right here. This hundred stacks mine half right there.
- 2:00:10Speaker 6: I gave you another half after the fight, and I
- 2:00:13Speaker 6: ain't got to lose seventh.
- 2:00:15Speaker 1: Go to work. Okay, I'm getting So it's all us
- 2:00:22Speaker 1: as we go, get comfortable, because that's what you opened
- 2:00:25Speaker 1: up when you put gambling back into sports. We went
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: back to the Chicago what was it, black Sox or
- 2:00:32Speaker 1: white Sox? Like yeah, then that's what.
- 2:00:34Speaker 6: We're back into schooles Joe Jackson and those one or
- 2:00:38Speaker 6: two marginal players that don't or those players that made
- 2:00:41Speaker 6: a lot of money and now they're getting towards the
- 2:00:45Speaker 6: end and they need to hit a lick before they leave.
- 2:00:48Speaker 6: They're gonna make choices like that, oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 2:00:52Speaker 6: And we are a nocean.
- 2:00:56Speaker 30: The truth is he will throw your in the Ocean's
- 2:01:00Speaker 30: time to wrap things.
- 2:01:01Speaker 1: Up on the sports June show with Wayne Kenny.
- 2:01:32Speaker 6: We here this sounds the ocean again. Just watch out
- 2:01:34Speaker 6: test a minute. To Vin, we'd like to thank you

- 2:01:55Speaker 6: Similar to last year when we had the gentleman down
- 2:02:00Speaker 6: in Florida. He was in the uh, the dryer. Remember
- 2:02:06Speaker 6: the story that police caught.
- 2:02:07Speaker 1: Him in the dry We've all done, We've all tried once.
- 2:02:13Speaker 6: Yeah, we were back to that kind of world again.
- 2:02:19Speaker 6: At the wings stop down in Florida, the manager decided
- 2:02:28Speaker 6: that the two unruly teenagers that had pushed over the
- 2:02:34Speaker 6: straws we're gonna learn today.
- 2:02:41Speaker 1: The manager told him to stop the ruckers and get
- 2:02:44Speaker 1: out of the wings stop, and the young men would
- 2:02:48Speaker 1: not stop knocking things over.
- 2:02:53Speaker 6: So the manager decided to go get some hot grease
- 2:03:02Speaker 6: and throw it on the teenagers. That's against the law.
- 2:03:07Speaker 6: I don't know what somebody might need to hand out
- 2:03:09Speaker 6: a law book to some of y'all. You can't go
- 2:03:12Speaker 6: and I know we all wanted to we all wanted
- 2:03:16Speaker 6: to call a little joker. I ain't standing on judgment.
- 2:03:21Speaker 6: They have arrested the nineteen year old manager and maybe
- 2:03:25Speaker 6: that's the problem. He too young even be the manager
- 2:03:28Speaker 6: resting on aggravated child abuse, child of sound, aggravated battery
- 2:03:35Speaker 6: for throwing the hot.
- 2:03:37Speaker 1: Grease and some ranch.
- 2:03:39Speaker 6: I guess he thought maybe the mayo in the ring
- 2:03:42Speaker 6: threw off the bernie.
- 2:03:45Speaker 1: But he has been arrested.
- 2:03:47Speaker 6: He said the customers were loud and disruptive and he
- 2:03:50Speaker 6: was trying to get him out of the wing stop.
- 2:03:54Speaker 1: Somebody called Rick Ross telling me you having an HR problem.
- 2:03:59Speaker 1: Five came straight from the top and thighs down.
- 2:04:03Speaker 31: They had a.
- 2:04:04Speaker 1: Workshop on how to handle this situation.
- 2:04:06Speaker 6: Cardinell Irene is the nineteen year old manager's name, and
- 2:04:11Speaker 6: uh carneal fuck up clank.
- 2:04:20Speaker 1: Well, I know that grease is hot. That hot grease
- 2:04:23Speaker 1: pop on you. It's hard to take that bacon popping

- 2:04:30Speaker 1: go for hot grease and you wait around.
