- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the mark simone show live from the wor life
- 0:04Speaker 1: vac studios well that's a couple of things breaking here
- 0:10Speaker 1: uh as we mentioned earlier 60 minutes has got this
- 0:14Speaker 1: big exclusive interview with patrick clancy that will air sunday
- 0:19Speaker 1: night this is the wife the husband of uh lindsey
- 0:23Speaker 1: clancy and this is the first time he's spoken out
- 0:26Speaker 1: he testified in court in the in the case but
- 0:29Speaker 1: then he He lives in New York, in New York City,
- 0:32Speaker 1: but he's doing this 60 Minutes interview. So they're leaking out,
- 0:36Speaker 1: bit by bit, pieces of it. They leaked out earlier
- 0:39Speaker 1: where you could see him walk in, sit down in
- 0:42Speaker 1: the studio. But now they're leaking out some of what
- 0:44Speaker 1: he said. His first revelation is, and of course she
- 0:49Speaker 1: killed the three kids. He said, he still speaks to
- 0:54Speaker 1: all three children all the time. asking him, asking them
- 0:58Speaker 1: to help him through the pain. I talked to them.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Patrick Clancy told CBS, help me all the time. I
- 1:07Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know. Are we buying any of this? Uh,
- 1:12Speaker 1: you know, some people, there's some people, some people just
- 1:16Speaker 1: recklessly think that he actually killed them, but I don't
- 1:19Speaker 1: think that, but, uh, he says he talks to all
- 1:22Speaker 1: three children. So they're leaking this out in dribs and drabs. Uh,
- 1:27Speaker 1: It'll be Sunday night, 60 minutes. You can see the
- 1:29Speaker 1: whole thing. They're trying to get some big ratings for
- 1:32Speaker 1: 60 minutes. We'll see Sunday night. Fed increased. The Fed
- 1:39Speaker 1: rate went up a quarter of a point, which is
- 1:41Speaker 1: exactly what everybody expected, which is probably the right thing
- 1:43Speaker 1: to do. The president mad at the Fed board. It's
- 1:47Speaker 1: all these leftover radical Jerome Powell types. One by one,
- 1:51Speaker 1: they've got to clean him off the board. He's not
- 1:53Speaker 1: mad at Kevin Warsh. He said good things about him.
- 1:56Speaker 1: But this is Kevin Warsh yesterday having a little press
- 2:00Speaker 1: conference afterwards.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Economic activity is expanding at a solid pace. While uncertainty
- 2:05Speaker 2: remains elevated, owing in part to geopolitical developments, domestic spending
- 2:12Speaker 2: has been resilient.
- 2:13Speaker 1: You know, I know this guy. I've talked to him
- 2:15Speaker 1: a million times. I never noticed his voice was that high.
- 2:17Speaker 1: You don't notice it in real life. In real life,
- 2:20Speaker 1: he looks good, sounds good. It's a little high, that voice.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Economic activity is expanding.
- 2:24Speaker 1: It's a little too high, a little too high. But
- 2:27Speaker 1: it's good. It's good. The stock market reacting very well.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Stock market has been up all day. They like this.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Investors like this quarter of a point increase. It's exactly
- 2:38Speaker 1: what everybody expected. And it's probably the right thing. The
- 2:42Speaker 1: market was up about 600 points. Now it's up about
- 2:46Speaker 1: 230 points. All right. Here's the big story. We mentioned
- 2:50Speaker 1: this last hour, but this is the big story. You
- 2:52Speaker 1: will not see this reported anywhere. You talk about fake news.
- 2:57Speaker 1: They're going to block this story like crazy. The Letitia
- 3:01Speaker 1: James case. Now, you remember when they were trying to
- 3:04Speaker 1: stop Trump from becoming president, the Biden administration coordinated all
- 3:10Speaker 1: these cases. Trump was on trial in four different places.
- 3:15Speaker 1: All of these cases getting coordinated. The crazy Alvin Bragg case,
- 3:19Speaker 1: which to this day, no legal expert can figure out
- 3:22Speaker 1: what the hell the charge was. was run by Colangelo,
- 3:27Speaker 1: a guy from the Obama administration, Obama's number two guy
- 3:31Speaker 1: in the Justice Department. He was sent to New York,
- 3:34Speaker 1: embedded into Alvin Bragg's office, coordinating this case. Remember the
- 3:38Speaker 1: one in Georgia, Fannie Willis? Remember that crazy case? She
- 3:43Speaker 1: put a guy in charge of the case. It turned
- 3:46Speaker 1: out he was in the White House for hours and
- 3:49Speaker 1: hours of hours of meetings coordinating the case with the
- 3:52Speaker 1: White House. Same thing with this Letitia James case. It
- 3:55Speaker 1: was all coordinated. So they tried to stop Trump by
- 3:59Speaker 1: arresting him, convicting him, putting him in jail, whatever they
- 4:02Speaker 1: could do. So Letitia James came up with this crazy case,
- 4:07Speaker 1: trying him for a crime that would actually be impossible
- 4:11Speaker 1: to commit. You couldn't commit this crime if you wanted to.
- 4:14Speaker 1: The case was that he was trying to get a
- 4:16Speaker 1: big loan from, I think it was Bank of America,
- 4:20Speaker 1: trying to get a massive loan, you know, $ 800 million
- 4:23Speaker 1: for a project, a construction project. And you have to
- 4:27Speaker 1: put up collateral. And part of the collateral was Mar-a-Lago.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And she claimed that he overvalued it because he listed
- 4:35Speaker 1: it as being worth $ 450 million. Have you seen Mar-a-Lago?
- 4:41Speaker 1: It sounds a little low, $ 450 million. So anyway, Letitia
- 4:46Speaker 1: James brings the case. It's in New York City. They
- 4:48Speaker 1: get one of these crazy left-wing lunatic, left-wing kook judges.
- 4:54Speaker 1: This judge in court rules that Mar-a-Lago is actually worth
- 4:58Speaker 1: $ 17 million. $ 17 million. Now, Palm Beach real estate experts
- 5:04Speaker 1: put it at about a billion dollars. And Palm Beach
- 5:08Speaker 1: real estate experts said that the parking lot, just the
- 5:11Speaker 1: land on the parking lot would be worth $ 20 million.
- 5:15Speaker 1: So this crazy judge, what was his name? Erdogan, Erdogan, Erdogan,
- 5:19Speaker 1: whatever his name was, rules it's worth $ 17 million. He
- 5:23Speaker 1: said it's worth $ 17 million. Trump said $ 450 million. It
- 5:28Speaker 1: was a ridiculous case. I think they still convicted him
- 5:31Speaker 1: because it's crazy New York. You get a crazy left-wing jury. Well,
- 5:36Speaker 1: it's going to real courts now, and a real court
- 5:38Speaker 1: did the research, and they have ruled. You're not going
- 5:41Speaker 1: to see this reported anywhere. Nobody will report this. They
- 5:44Speaker 1: ruled that Mar-a-Lago is worth $ 650 million. $ 650 million. So
- 5:52Speaker 1: Trump actually undervalued the property. He was $ 200 million too low,
- 5:56Speaker 1: according to this court ruling. So there was no crime.
- 5:59Speaker 1: In fact, just the opposite happened. No crime at all.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Trump was absolutely right in this case. In fact, he
- 6:06Speaker 1: undervalued it. Letitia James has yet to say a word. Now,
- 6:10Speaker 1: of course, fake news controls everything. You will not see
- 6:13Speaker 1: this story reported And by the way, it's a crime
- 6:18Speaker 1: it's impossible to commit. You can't defraud a bank by
- 6:21Speaker 1: overvaluing your assets. If you're trying to get a massive loan,
- 6:26Speaker 1: you can send them whatever you want. You can send
- 6:29Speaker 1: them documents. You could say my apartment is worth 20 million.
- 6:32Speaker 1: That's the collateral. They don't even look at your numbers.
- 6:35Speaker 1: They'll never look at your numbers. They'll never look at
- 6:37Speaker 1: any of it. They'll send their own appraiser and they'll
- 6:40Speaker 1: decide what it's worth. Even a simple thing like a
- 6:44Speaker 1: car accident, a fender bender. You can call your insurance
- 6:47Speaker 1: company and say, yeah, it's $ 6, 000 worth of damage. They're
- 6:52Speaker 1: not going to say, okay, we'll write you a check. No,
- 6:54Speaker 1: they're going to say, yeah, what time can our appraiser
- 6:56Speaker 1: be there? They'll tell you how much the damage is.
- 6:59Speaker 1: You can't defraud a bank in a loan. They send
- 7:02Speaker 1: their own appraisers. And by the way, if you look
- 7:04Speaker 1: at that stuff Trump submitted for that bank, it says
- 7:07Speaker 1: right at the bottom, Do your own estimate. Do your
- 7:11Speaker 1: own appraisals. And right in the bank documents, it says,
- 7:15Speaker 1: we're not going to use your numbers. We're going to
- 7:16Speaker 1: do our own appraisal. So you couldn't commit this crime
- 7:19Speaker 1: if you tried. And according to this latest court ruling,
- 7:22Speaker 1: Trump was totally, completely, a thousand percent innocent. Letitia James
- 7:27Speaker 1: had a totally ridiculous fake case. UN General Assembly, it's coming.
- 7:34Speaker 1: It's actually underway. But the big week where all the
- 7:36Speaker 1: world leaders come in is next week. So just giving
- 7:40Speaker 1: you a warning, it's going to be a traffic nightmare
- 7:44Speaker 1: in Manhattan all of next week. It's UN General Assembly week.
- 7:49Speaker 1: If you're driving in and you got to come, especially
- 7:51Speaker 1: the east side. But remember, it's not just the area
- 7:54Speaker 1: around the UN because all these world leaders stay at
- 7:58Speaker 1: all the top hotels. So one will be at the Waldorf,
- 8:01Speaker 1: one will be at the St. Regis, one will be
- 8:04Speaker 1: at the Plaza, one will be at the Pierre. Even
- 8:07Speaker 1: across the street there, the Warwick Hotel. It's just going
- 8:11Speaker 1: to be a nightmare. Traffic nightmare all over the place.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Netanyahu will be here. Expect a lot of protests thanks
- 8:18Speaker 1: to the crazy Mamdani crowd.
- 8:21Speaker 2: We are talking about someone who has been charged with
- 8:23Speaker 2: crimes against humanity.
- 8:25Speaker 1: No, he hasn't. You're talking about that International Criminal Court.
- 8:28Speaker 1: That's just a made-up court a couple of left-wing kooks created.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Not a real court. He's been charged. Nothing about being
- 8:36Speaker 1: a war criminal, none of that is true. The other
- 8:39Speaker 1: big story this morning, Mamdani and his bathrooms. The one
- 8:43Speaker 1: thing he should be good at is a toilet. A
- 8:44Speaker 1: Mamdani toilet, they'll be everywhere.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Today, we are putting the sewage back in sewer socialism.
- 8:50Speaker 2: And we're doing so because we believe that there is
- 8:52Speaker 2: no problem too big and no task too small for
- 8:55Speaker 2: City Hall to help you with.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Okay. Okay. I'm editing myself right now. There's lots of
- 9:04Speaker 1: jokes there about the mum Donnie toilets. You could put
- 9:07Speaker 1: his picture in the bottom of, there's all kinds of
- 9:09Speaker 1: jokes here, but they're being made at, they're going to
- 9:12Speaker 1: cost 235,000 a toilet, 235,000 a toilet. You know, the
- 9:17Speaker 1: Saudi guys with the gold toilet, they don't cost that much,
- 9:23Speaker 1: but it's a whole. Now I'm thinking about other things.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Don't you have to have toilet paper? Wouldn't you think
- 9:29Speaker 1: you need soap or toilet paper or something? Are you
- 9:32Speaker 1: going to depend on the government to keep restocking that
- 9:34Speaker 1: all the time? Has anybody thought about that? Is somebody
- 9:40Speaker 1: going to come by every half hour to make sure?
- 9:42Speaker 1: We have a problem with our bathroom down here. There's
- 9:45Speaker 1: a cleaning crew that cleans it. I don't know why,
- 9:48Speaker 1: but they clean it like every hour. Every time I
- 9:50Speaker 1: want to go to the bathroom, it's got that sign
- 9:52Speaker 1: up cleaning. The tape is across it. You can't go
- 9:56Speaker 1: in there. Every hour they clean it over and over again.
- 10:00Speaker 1: And I mean, we've got like six radio stations here
- 10:03Speaker 1: in one floor, but you don't need to clean it
- 10:06Speaker 1: every year. But again, when it's government run, what do
- 10:09Speaker 1: you think? Once every week, somebody will come by and
- 10:12Speaker 1: replace the toilet paper. So that's the other problem. You're
- 10:14Speaker 1: going to have that problem. And again, what happens to
- 10:17Speaker 1: homeless people? They go in there and they can't... Now, again,
- 10:20Speaker 1: the toilets will have a 10-minute limit. You're going to
- 10:23Speaker 1: get warnings. That's another thing. You know, you're trying to
- 10:28Speaker 1: take care of your business there, stress-free, and this voice
- 10:31Speaker 1: is going to keep yelling at you, timing you.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Your use time has expired.
- 10:35Speaker 1: The door is opening now. All right, what are you
- 10:39Speaker 1: supposed to do? The door is opening right now. What
- 10:41Speaker 1: are you supposed to do? Jump up and pull up
- 10:43Speaker 1: your pants. I can't wait for these toilets to open.
- 10:46Speaker 1: this is not going to work out at all for anybody. Hey,
- 10:50Speaker 1: there's a woman that was on the Kamala Harris campaign,
- 10:52Speaker 1: top campaign official, who's written a new book and is
- 10:56Speaker 1: revealing they deliberately lied in the campaign. Oh, what a shock.
- 11:00Speaker 1: They lied about, remember, what was it, the convention? Yeah,
- 11:04Speaker 1: convention night, Beyonce was going to appear. Well, they said
- 11:09Speaker 1: they knew that wasn't the case. She was supposed to
- 11:11Speaker 1: be there final night of the convention. They knew that
- 11:14Speaker 1: was not the case. They said, she's revealing It was
- 11:17Speaker 1: just a lie to pack the stadium. They were worried
- 11:20Speaker 1: they couldn't fill up the arena for Kamala's speech. Remember,
- 11:24Speaker 1: there was another night with supposedly Taylor Swift was going
- 11:26Speaker 1: to come campaign. And, well, turns out that was a
- 11:30Speaker 1: deliberate lie. Deliberate lie. They knew she wasn't coming. They
- 11:35Speaker 1: just wanted to make sure that the rally got a
- 11:38Speaker 1: lot of attendance. You know, they keep saying, everybody keeps saying,
- 11:42Speaker 1: the Republicans, they got no message. They got no message. Well,
- 11:45Speaker 1: also remember the Democrats have no message. I mean, they
- 11:48Speaker 1: got the hate Donald Trump, Trump derangement syndrome message, but
- 11:52Speaker 1: even Maggie Haberman of the New York Times warning Democrats
- 11:56Speaker 1: that this is not good enough. Democrats don't have a message.
- 12:01Speaker 1: And she keeps saying, hating Trump, it's not enough. You're
- 12:04Speaker 1: going to need more than that. She's also pointing out,
- 12:07Speaker 1: and this is the big factor everybody's forgetting about. The
- 12:10Speaker 1: Republicans have a ton of money. They got like 200
- 12:15Speaker 1: million over at the RNC. Trump has been a fundraising
- 12:20Speaker 1: fanatic for the last couple of years. They got about
- 12:22Speaker 1: $ 200 million in the war chest at the RNC. The DNC,
- 12:27Speaker 1: about $ 1. 50. They got nothing, absolutely nothing in that war chest.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Maybe they got $ 20 million. That's about it. And Democrats
- 12:35Speaker 1: have a big problem. And she points out, this is
- 12:38Speaker 1: Maggie Haberman, says, they have been struggling with fundraising for
- 12:41Speaker 1: quite some time. They have never recovered from the end
- 12:45Speaker 1: of the Biden term. The Biden term was so bad
- 12:48Speaker 1: and the condition of Joe Biden was so bad, a
- 12:51Speaker 1: lot of donors got disgusted and walked away. Not just
- 12:55Speaker 1: walked away, but they walked away very angry. They were really,
- 12:58Speaker 1: really angry, according to Maggie Haberman, and walked away. People
- 13:02Speaker 1: don't like being told for two years Biden is just fine.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Finding out he was a disaster and that everybody knew it.
- 13:09Speaker 1: She cites billionaires, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, examples of famous
- 13:15Speaker 1: Democratic figures. who they had previously been able to count on,
- 13:19Speaker 1: who've walked away. Trump, meanwhile, never stopped raising money. He's
- 13:24Speaker 1: got a massive war chest. It'll be a big, big
- 13:27Speaker 1: factor in the midterms, which are pretty close. It's basically
- 13:33Speaker 1: less than two months, so they've got to get that
- 13:35Speaker 1: messaging and everything going. Bruce Blakeman, Nassau County executive, submitted
- 13:41Speaker 1: the new budget. No tax hike. No tax hike in
- 13:44Speaker 1: the new budget. An increase in police is going to
- 13:48Speaker 1: hire more cops. This is exactly what everybody wants. Now,
- 13:52Speaker 1: they love to convince you that New York City is
- 13:54Speaker 1: in trouble. Everything is bad. Home sales are going through
- 13:58Speaker 1: the roof. Commercial leasing is through the roof. In fact,
- 14:03Speaker 1: latest numbers show that in home sales, one out of
- 14:07Speaker 1: five New York City homes not only sell, but there's
- 14:10Speaker 1: a bidding war. Bidding wars are taking place all over
- 14:13Speaker 1: New York. Brooklyn is the prime center for these bidding wars.
- 14:17Speaker 1: But even Manhattan, one in five homes now having a
- 14:21Speaker 1: bidding war in New York City. So it's doing very,
- 14:24Speaker 1: very well. Hey, we'll take some calls next. 800-321-0710 is
- 14:27Speaker 1: the number. Give me a call. Especially if you're a
- 14:32Speaker 1: new caller, if you've never called us before, give us
- 14:34Speaker 1: a call. 800-321-0710. 800-321-0710.
