- 0:09Speaker 1: Everybody. Welcome to game debut for Centaby Mercedes been Patrick
- 0:12Speaker 1: playbond back here with my dear friends Greg Rosenthal and
- 0:14Speaker 1: Cynthia Freeland in week twelve, where things become very consequential
- 0:19Speaker 1: because the line here between making the playoffs and not
- 0:21Speaker 1: making the playoffs Greg gets very very tight.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I love this time of year.
- 0:25Speaker 3: It's like every week the games get more and more important,
- 0:29Speaker 3: and yes, my picks get better and better. I'm in
- 0:32Speaker 3: the matrix right now. Give me cancer stops. He gave
- 0:35Speaker 3: me a standing.
- 0:36Speaker 4: I don't even know what to say.
- 0:37Speaker 5: I mean, he is in the matrix, but also like
- 0:41Speaker 5: he's also going to tell you about it, so I
- 0:43Speaker 5: don't know if anyone needs.
- 0:45Speaker 3: It's what I tell my kids when things are going well,
- 0:48Speaker 3: enjoy it because it's not going to last forever, so
- 0:50Speaker 3: you might as well just enjoy.
- 0:51Speaker 1: But what about the people in your proximity? What if
- 0:53Speaker 1: they don't enjoy? I heard about how well things are going,
- 0:57Speaker 1: because it's directly relating to their failures. Anyway, let's jump
- 0:59Speaker 1: right into it. Monday night, we're getting a new edition
- 1:01Speaker 1: of the Hardbowl, John and Jim facing off the first
- 1:04Speaker 1: time since John's Ravens beat Jim's forty nine Ers thirty
- 1:07Speaker 1: four to thirty one, and Super Bowl forty seven after
- 1:09Speaker 1: the lights went out, Big brother John two to zero
- 1:12Speaker 1: in his career against his little brother as head coaches.
- 1:17Speaker 1: So both the Ravens so much has changed.
- 1:19Speaker 5: I mean, Jim wears cleats now I need to know
- 1:22Speaker 5: if John does too. But in that last clip that
- 1:24Speaker 5: he wasn't wearing cleats, So maybe that's the difference. If
- 1:28Speaker 5: your head coaches wearing cleets.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Things are different, cleats and gloves in warm ups. Both
- 1:32Speaker 1: the Ravens and the Chargers have seven wins in the playoff. Hunt,
- 1:35Speaker 1: does little brother Jim finally beat big brother on Monday Night? Greg?
- 1:39Speaker 3: It's so weird to think of Jim Harbaugh as the
- 1:42Speaker 3: little brother, and yet he is in this matchup and
- 1:44Speaker 3: he will be on Sunday night again because the Ravens
- 1:47Speaker 3: are winning this game twenty seven to twenty four. I
- 1:50Speaker 3: was at that game in the Super Bowl, I mean
- 1:53Speaker 3: in the in Hard Bowl back in New Orleans, and
- 1:56Speaker 3: it's because a quarterback play that they won that game.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Joe Flacco won that game for them, and Lamar Jackson
- 2:01Speaker 3: is going to be the better quarterback in this game too.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Love Herbert, but what Lamar Jackson can do against pressure
- 2:08Speaker 3: is unique. You know who also was great against pressure
- 2:10Speaker 3: last week, Joe Burrow against this Chargers defense in the
- 2:13Speaker 3: second half. I do think there are holes in this secondary.
- 2:17Speaker 3: If Lamar Jackson can just get away from that first rusher,
- 2:20Speaker 3: and he's so good at doing that buying time, I
- 2:23Speaker 3: think he'll be able to find open receivers down the field.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Because as good as this Chargers secondary has played, considering
- 2:29Speaker 3: they're playing two fifth round rookies and Kristin Fulton, who's
- 2:33Speaker 3: kind of a reclamation project, the talent is on the
- 2:35Speaker 3: Baltimore offensive side of the ball.
- 2:37Speaker 5: The word reclamation made it into our show. Congratulations to
- 2:41Speaker 5: the wordsmith, Greg. Not only are you beating us in picks,
- 2:44Speaker 5: you were also the best.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Wordsmith of round.
- 2:46Speaker 5: I only have a one point win for the Ravens,
- 2:49Speaker 5: and I want to talk a little bit about what
- 2:50Speaker 5: Joe Brow and that Cincinnati offense did to this defense
- 2:53Speaker 5: last week. The adjustments were pretty epic, including which is
- 2:57Speaker 5: a high probability of it not working out a fourth
- 3:00Speaker 5: down touchdown to Uno. That is what you call Jamar Chase.
- 3:03Speaker 5: Just so you know, it's called Uno time clear just
- 3:05Speaker 5: I learned that last week. But when I'm looking at
- 3:07Speaker 5: the opportunity here, you know, look what t Higgins did
- 3:10Speaker 5: the two different receiver sets, which one are you going
- 3:14Speaker 5: to take in this one? And then, by the way,
- 3:15Speaker 5: they also have this great tight end that they could
- 3:18Speaker 5: also be or several great tight ends I guess that
- 3:21Speaker 5: they could also be hitting them with. So even if
- 3:23Speaker 5: the first half doesn't look great for the Ravens, expect
- 3:26Speaker 5: good second and third you know, options, and then the
- 3:30Speaker 5: second half to look a little bit different.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Only one option between our score, Cynthia, because I have
- 3:34Speaker 1: the same exact score out yeah on Cynthia's homework, as
- 3:37Speaker 1: most people should if Cynthia's homework is available to see
- 3:40Speaker 1: twenty five twenty four Baltimore Ravens winning and this comes
- 3:44Speaker 1: on the strength of the Baltimore Ravens run defense, where
- 3:47Speaker 1: the Chargers do commit to the run, but it's gonna
- 3:50Speaker 1: be the difference late. The team is almost two reliant
- 3:54Speaker 1: on its quarterback to create that's actually the opponent this
- 3:56Speaker 1: time for the Baltimore Ravens, and they have a case
- 3:59Speaker 1: as the best run defense in the league. The Chargers score,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I believe the Ravens ultimately score one more. I understand
- 4:06Speaker 1: there's injuries on the Ravens defense concerns there, but they
- 4:09Speaker 1: haven't really been able to stop anybody for most of
- 4:11Speaker 1: the season since all.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Board for US regular worried we've doubted the Chargers too
- 4:16Speaker 3: many times this year, perilous.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Let's do some math on this game, Cynthia. We'll Justin
- 4:21Speaker 1: Herbert throw for over or under two hundred and fifty
- 4:24Speaker 1: seven and a half passing yards on Monday Night.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Well, we all have.
- 4:27Speaker 5: A close game, even though Greg's is the least close,
- 4:29Speaker 5: and I think that dictates a passing game script late
- 4:33Speaker 5: in the game.
- 4:33Speaker 4: You also can pass on this Ravens defense.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Even if they.
- 4:36Speaker 5: Decide to give a light box to Justin Herbert for
- 4:41Speaker 5: whatever reason they choose, it still doesn't matter. You're still
- 4:44Speaker 5: gonna have enough of those catches by their receivers, who
- 4:47Speaker 5: are both very playable in fantasy. This game, think Justin
- 4:51Speaker 5: Herbert has at least two hundred and fifty eight passing yards.
- 4:54Speaker 1: All right, Civil rivalries great playoff rivalries. Even better, The
- 4:57Speaker 1: Packers and the Niners have one of the best. Most recently.
- 5:00Speaker 1: San Francisco got the dub in last year's Divisional round.
- 5:04Speaker 1: A HI for Drake green Law, who I sit for
- 5:06Speaker 1: San Francisco last January. Get well soon, dre As. I
- 5:08Speaker 1: think the Niners would have had Lobardi Trophy if he
- 5:10Speaker 1: didn't hurt himself jogging on the field in the Super Bowl.
- 5:13Speaker 1: The rivalry continues though Sunday in Lambeau. Who comes away
- 5:16Speaker 1: victorious this time around? Greck.
- 5:17Speaker 3: I am going with the Packers this time, twenty eight
- 5:20Speaker 3: to twenty four in this game because neither of these
- 5:23Speaker 3: teams are quite what we expected, at least not where
- 5:27Speaker 3: they were last January. But the offense for the Packers
- 5:30Speaker 3: is coming into form, Jordan Love, and this Packers passing
- 5:34Speaker 3: attack is actually the one part of this game along
- 5:37Speaker 3: with the running.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Really, it's the whole offense that I trust.
- 5:40Speaker 3: This forty nine Ers defense, whether Nick Bosa is out
- 5:42Speaker 3: there or not, a little ordinary. The forty nine Ers offense,
- 5:47Speaker 3: little dude, Juan Jennings, reliant, not what they used to be.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Packers defense don't really love it, Jordan Love. I do
- 5:54Speaker 3: love it, and I know he'll give you an interception
- 5:57Speaker 3: every now and then.
- 5:58Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Look at these throws that he is making week after week.
- 6:02Speaker 2: They are getting it done.
- 6:03Speaker 3: They are so dynamic in the passing game, and you
- 6:05Speaker 3: know they can hit you on the ground too, But
- 6:07Speaker 3: it's Jordan Love's ability to make those special throws and
- 6:11Speaker 3: the variety of the receivers that they have that they
- 6:13Speaker 3: ultimately think gets it done.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Offense wins.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm with you, Greg. No practice for Nick Bosa
- 6:19Speaker 1: late in the week on Wednesday, couldn't finish the game Sunday.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Problem for the pass rush and overall problems against the
- 6:24Speaker 1: run all season long. And they number twenty eight against
- 6:27Speaker 1: runs outside of the tackles. And you look back last
- 6:30Speaker 1: year at what was a top three defense. They go
- 6:32Speaker 1: all the way to the Super Bowl. Yeah, they give
- 6:34Speaker 1: up some points to the Detroit Lions, and it's like, ah,
- 6:37Speaker 1: this defense is trouble. They lose to the Chiefs and
- 6:40Speaker 1: the Super Bowl. It's like, how we got to fire
- 6:41Speaker 1: our defensive coordinator. Now, look, the Lions are scoring a
- 6:44Speaker 1: billion points a game and they have to play against
- 6:47Speaker 1: the Packers, who were top ten in outside runs. Josh
- 6:49Speaker 1: Jacobs's powers to pack to victory.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Cynthia, Oh, well, I guess we're giving me a prime
- 6:54Speaker 5: number here by just one point.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Boo boo, ple bl blu umbers, numbers.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Numbers, there's my number, but look it's twenty four to
- 7:01Speaker 5: twenty three. Now, I will put a little asterisk here
- 7:04Speaker 5: if for some reason there's no brock Purty, that will
- 7:07Speaker 5: change things and the Nick Bosa factor will have to
- 7:09Speaker 5: see exactly what happens, so hythem. I reserve the right
- 7:12Speaker 5: to switch it on Sunday with the injury report, not
- 7:15Speaker 5: that we'll know anything before ninety minutes before kickoff anyways,
- 7:17Speaker 5: because that is how they do things in.
- 7:19Speaker 2: The forty nine Ers camp.
- 7:20Speaker 5: But the person who I do think is playing is
- 7:23Speaker 5: the straw that is stirring the drink for this offense
- 7:26Speaker 5: this season. That is number eighty five. When you're looking
- 7:29Speaker 5: at what George Kittle means to this offense, especially when
- 7:32Speaker 5: he lines up as an inline receiver.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Whoo, things are good.
- 7:35Speaker 5: And that is an area that this Packers defense that
- 7:38Speaker 5: I do not trust, is very susceptible to. So if
- 7:41Speaker 5: you see something like George Kittle lined up in line,
- 7:44Speaker 5: just know the Packers have allowed like a ninety five
- 7:47Speaker 5: completion percenta is two shuch throws. So if we're talking
- 7:50Speaker 5: about like brock Purty's playing, check George Kittle playing check.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Nick Bosa check. Then it is definitely Niners.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Yeah. If you see something, say something. Well, George Kittle
- 8:00Speaker 1: lined up in Lott as a receiver the team that
- 8:02Speaker 1: beat the forty nine ers last week, He's the Seahawks.
- 8:05Speaker 1: With less than twenty seconds ago, Eugene Cyril Smith shocked
- 8:08Speaker 1: the fans in Santas Clara. Well, personal biases have the
- 8:12Speaker 1: Holy Catfish call high on the call of the year's standings.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Gino put the forty nine ers to bed last week. Now,
- 8:18Speaker 1: the Seahawks play host to the first place Cardinals Kyler
- 8:20Speaker 1: squad coming off of the bye week. The division is nuts, Greg,
- 8:24Speaker 1: how do you see it going?
- 8:25Speaker 3: I see the Seahawks taking that energy that they got
- 8:28Speaker 3: from that last drive and bringing it to this week
- 8:31Speaker 3: in a twenty four to twenty two victory. Look, I
- 8:33Speaker 3: love the Cardinals I've been picking them all year, but
- 8:36Speaker 3: Gino Smith on this last drive was something special. He's
- 8:40Speaker 3: winning from the neck up and he's just got something
- 8:43Speaker 3: a little extra.
- 8:43Speaker 2: He stays calm in the big moments.
- 8:45Speaker 3: You know who led the NFL and fourth quarter comebacks
- 8:48Speaker 3: and game winning drives a year ago. Geno Smith. You
- 8:50Speaker 3: know who's gonna do it? Again Geno Smith. Look at
- 8:56Speaker 3: the matchups in the secondary. When Gino Smith goes back
- 8:58Speaker 3: to pass, and I think, for once he might have
- 9:00Speaker 3: some pass protection because the Cardinals don't rush the passer
- 9:03Speaker 3: that well. Jackson Smith and Jigbu is really breaking out.
- 9:06Speaker 3: DK Metcalf back healthy. I think they have mismatches in
- 9:09Speaker 3: the back end, and I think a special run by
- 9:11Speaker 3: the Seahawks team is going to start right now.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I like that.
- 9:16Speaker 5: I also agree with who wins. I have a score
- 9:18Speaker 5: of twenty three to twenty one is a two point
- 9:21Speaker 5: win as well. But we need to give a little
- 9:23Speaker 5: love to Kyler Murray specifically when he runs the football.
- 9:26Speaker 5: Why because one interesting thing about this Seahawks defense is
- 9:29Speaker 5: that the two starting linebackers from week one guess where
- 9:33Speaker 5: they are now?
- 9:34Speaker 2: Not of the team right ones of Miami.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Right one was traded away, but Ernest Jones has been great.
- 9:39Speaker 5: He actually has one of the top run stop percentages
- 9:42Speaker 5: among linebackers since he came over in that trade. But
- 9:45Speaker 5: Kyler Murray is a different beast. This is a situation
- 9:49Speaker 5: where all of those bootlegs to the left, he runs
- 9:51Speaker 5: to the left a lot right. All those you can
- 9:53Speaker 5: close your eyes and see it. They haven't seen something
- 9:55Speaker 5: like that before, at least not the rookie. So when
- 9:57Speaker 5: you see something where you know, look, this is a
- 9:59Speaker 5: vision opponent. They're going to have new tricks and folds
- 10:02Speaker 5: every single time they play. And Kyler is just special,
- 10:05Speaker 5: so he deserves to be talked about.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Even though I'm picking the Seahawks.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, Mike McDonald's defense. If you look season long
- 10:10Speaker 1: wise the Sea, it's like, oh, the Seahawks are a
- 10:12Speaker 1: bad defense. I think they've gotten a little bit better,
- 10:14Speaker 1: but I also have a slim margin win for the
- 10:17Speaker 1: home team spoiler alert or when they play this game
- 10:19Speaker 1: again in a couple of weeks, I'll take the home
- 10:21Speaker 1: team there again. But I would mainly like to talk
- 10:24Speaker 1: about this Cardinals defense that I lovingly call the search
- 10:28Speaker 1: Bar because I'm constantly having to figure out who exactly
- 10:31Speaker 1: these people are. They are being able to accomplish a
- 10:33Speaker 1: lot despite not really getting a ton of pressure on
- 10:36Speaker 1: the quarterback. They're only ahead of the Panthers and the
- 10:38Speaker 1: Falcons and pressure percentage, but they have more sacks than
- 10:41Speaker 1: both of those teams combined. Fighte blitzing less It works sometimes,
- 10:46Speaker 1: but I think you really have to get absolute pressure
- 10:49Speaker 1: on Gino and swarm him and able to be able
- 10:51Speaker 1: to win, especially game in Seattle. I don't think they'll
- 10:54Speaker 1: be able to do that enough here. So we are
- 10:56Speaker 1: all on the Seattle Seahawks and the memes are rolling
- 11:00Speaker 1: here on game debut, It's time from the Drive to
- 11:02Speaker 1: Excellence presented by Say. He's been Saquon adding this move
- 11:06Speaker 1: seventy yards of the fourth quarter rushing in that last
- 11:09Speaker 1: game against the Commanders the Eagles in the Rams Sunday
- 11:11Speaker 1: Night at So far Philly has won six straight since
- 11:14Speaker 1: they're by They're in first place in the NFC East.
- 11:16Speaker 1: The Ramilly definitely in the playoff race. Does it get
- 11:19Speaker 1: even better in the playoff race for the Rams?
- 11:21Speaker 2: Cynthia no Oh, I'm sorry.
- 11:23Speaker 5: I have twenty six to twenty two in favor of
- 11:26Speaker 5: the Eagles, in large part because of that man. We
- 11:29Speaker 5: just watched a bunch of highlights on that is Saquon Barkley.
- 11:32Speaker 5: When I'm looking at the opportunity to leverage him in oh,
- 11:35Speaker 5: the pass catching game, running on inside routes, running onto
- 11:39Speaker 5: the outside, like all of the different ways that you
- 11:41Speaker 5: would like to use him. Well, that O line is
- 11:43Speaker 5: specifically tailored to him. I know that the strength of
- 11:46Speaker 5: this Rams defense is right up front. But you know what,
- 11:49Speaker 5: when you run away from the pressure, things get better
- 11:52Speaker 5: for you. So Saquon Barkley a massive day. I think
- 11:56Speaker 5: that that helps bolster the Eagles chances to beat the Rams.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm looking forward to this game where there's two
- 12:03Speaker 1: incredible young defensive lines that get a lot of pressure
- 12:07Speaker 1: on opposing quarterbacks. But I locked the Eagles offensive line
- 12:09Speaker 1: more so, I will talk about the Eagles defensive line,
- 12:11Speaker 1: namely Jalen Carter, who is the only interior defensive lineman
- 12:15Speaker 1: who's generated multiple pressures in every game this season. An
- 12:19Speaker 1: asterisk because Dexter Lawrence is getting double in triple team
- 12:22Speaker 1: like a million tunds. But still, Jalen Carter has fifteen
- 12:24Speaker 1: quick pressures this season. He's top three in that category,
- 12:28Speaker 1: and I think he gets one that changes this game.
- 12:30Speaker 1: On Sunday, Greg, Eagles winning, I.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Was with you.
- 12:33Speaker 3: That was how I lean because I picked the Eagles
- 12:35Speaker 3: to win actually every single game this year, fun fact,
- 12:38Speaker 3: you know, and six straight times have been right. And
- 12:41Speaker 3: yet as the week went on, Chames my mind and
- 12:44Speaker 3: I had a vision of the Rams winning this game.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Rams are a very hard team to predict. I think
- 12:49Speaker 3: they win a relatively high scoring game, and it's partly
- 12:51Speaker 3: because of Sean McVay.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Let's just greg it up.
- 12:54Speaker 3: I got a hunch about this team across the street.
- 12:56Speaker 3: It's a revenge game for Sean McVay, a revenge that
- 12:59Speaker 3: last six years. Let's go back to twenty eighteen Bears Rams.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Why are we showing you that game?
- 13:04Speaker 3: Vic Fangio, the defensive coordinator of the Bears, helped change
- 13:08Speaker 3: NFL history with a six to one front that really
- 13:11Speaker 3: stopped the outside zone Rams team back then. There's Fangio
- 13:14Speaker 3: now doing a great job a lot of the same
- 13:16Speaker 3: concepts with.
- 13:17Speaker 2: This Eagles team.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Sean McVay, the whiz kid he got pants in the
- 13:21Speaker 3: Super Bowl by Bill Belichick, who copied that game plan. Really,
- 13:25Speaker 3: the whole NFL started copying that game plan for years.
- 13:29Speaker 3: It got Jared Goff out of Los Angeles. It made
- 13:31Speaker 3: Sean McVay change the whole offense. They don't even run
- 13:34Speaker 3: outside zone anymore. This has been in his head for
- 13:37Speaker 3: six straight years. He wants revenge because he was the
- 13:40Speaker 3: hot kid in town. That Fangio took that from him,
- 13:43Speaker 3: and now he's gonna show.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Who's I think we have the same thought, Cynthia.
- 13:47Speaker 5: What, I'm so confused that you're taking revenge on Fangio
- 13:50Speaker 5: for something Belichick did.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Well, No, Fangio did it because Fangio showed him how
- 13:54Speaker 3: to beat Sean McVay and it was at a time
- 13:56Speaker 3: where he was just looking like the smart kid in town.
- 13:59Speaker 3: I just mean, I think this one means a little
- 14:01Speaker 3: extra to McVay. I think he's gonna have some special
- 14:03Speaker 3: sauce a young Eagles defense. They can't win every game.
- 14:06Speaker 3: I think Sean McVay is gonna have some great stuff.
- 14:08Speaker 1: We could ultimately end up with Vic Fangio getting credit
- 14:11Speaker 1: for two teams winning the Super Bowl that he did
- 14:13Speaker 1: not coach for. The Eagles are chasing for the top
- 14:16Speaker 1: seed in the NFC right now. That's a team that
- 14:19Speaker 1: I guess thanks to Vic Fangio has Jared Goff, Cynthia's
- 14:23Speaker 1: Detroit Lions. You're getting you don't even know it, which
- 14:27Speaker 1: most dead people fall into that category. Jared Goff coming
- 14:29Speaker 1: off with four touchdown game. The Lions ain't straight games.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Some folks saw it coming. They've got Anthony Richardslim and
- 14:36Speaker 1: the Colts. On Sunday I think they make it nine straight,
- 14:39Speaker 1: winning twenty seven to thirteen, because you saw it on
- 14:41Speaker 1: that play. There's so many aspects of the Lions offense
- 14:43Speaker 1: that we can celebrate. Why don't we look at Jared
- 14:45Speaker 1: Goff passing with play action, folks. He's over one thousand
- 14:49Speaker 1: yards already on just play action passing this season. In fact,
- 14:53Speaker 1: he has two hundred more yards on play action than
- 14:55Speaker 1: the next closest quarterback, which is Matthew Stafford, who is
- 14:58Speaker 1: there because of Vic Fangio's efforts in a Bears game
- 15:02Speaker 1: against the Rams a couple of years ago. I think
- 15:05Speaker 1: the Lions win this one thirty seven.
- 15:07Speaker 2: It made sense in my head. A lot of it.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Even made Sean McVay be.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Like, I got to get a defensive quarter You're like Fangio,
- 15:14Speaker 3: so he hired Brandon Staley.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Lots of things happen go on to this game.
- 15:17Speaker 5: You know what, Thank you for your service, Vic Fangio.
- 15:20Speaker 5: We all we're actually probably all here because of you,
- 15:24Speaker 5: Vic Fangio. But the Lions win this one, twenty nine
- 15:27Speaker 5: to twenty one. I want to talk about Aman Ross
- 15:29Speaker 5: Saint Brown for a second here, because he actually has
- 15:32Speaker 5: the highest upside for any wide receiver in my model
- 15:34Speaker 5: this week.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Why because you know who plays a lot of zone.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Who's up?
- 15:38Speaker 4: Yeah, the Colts.
- 15:38Speaker 5: They played the most zone and they kind of do
- 15:40Speaker 5: it even if it doesn't work. But you know where
- 15:42Speaker 5: Jerik Goff has thrown all of his interceptions against zone.
- 15:45Speaker 4: So this team figures to be a team that is
- 15:47Speaker 4: working out some kikes.
- 15:48Speaker 5: That is kind of my explanation for what we saw
- 15:50Speaker 5: last week when they did not take their foot off
- 15:53Speaker 5: the gas against the Jaguars. But I think this is
- 15:55Speaker 5: an opportunity to really target the guy against zone. And
- 15:59Speaker 5: this is a guy who has twenty nine percent target share,
- 16:01Speaker 5: second highest in the NFL. So I think if you're
- 16:03Speaker 5: looking for a really nice, high upside fantasy playlet's.
- 16:06Speaker 2: To number fourteen.
- 16:08Speaker 3: I love this Lions team because they're great. They can
- 16:10Speaker 3: make comebacks against the Texans, but they're also great front runners,
- 16:13Speaker 3: which is why all three of us not only have
- 16:15Speaker 3: the Lions winning this game, we have them covering. I
- 16:18Speaker 3: have them winning by ten, and it's partly because of
- 16:21Speaker 3: the way the Colts won last week. Let's show some
- 16:23Speaker 3: great Anthony Richardson footage. I point out these throws just
- 16:28Speaker 3: to show you how difficult.
- 16:30Speaker 2: They all were.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Part of the reason they had to win with difficult
- 16:33Speaker 3: throws where Anthony Richardson had to fit the ball into
- 16:36Speaker 3: tight windows. Is the running game really wasn't working. Jonathan
- 16:39Speaker 3: Taylor was stuffed by a pretty bad Jets run defense
- 16:42Speaker 3: Anthony Richardson except for those runs on the goal line,
- 16:45Speaker 3: which are important, he's such a red zone threat, he
- 16:47Speaker 3: didn't really get it going on the ground either. That
- 16:50Speaker 3: worries me because against a Lions team that stops the
- 16:53Speaker 3: run and I think will be able to control Jonathan
- 16:56Speaker 3: Taylor and Anthony Richardson on the ground. Man, you're gonna
- 16:58Speaker 3: be trailing. You're gonna have to hit low percentage throws.
- 17:01Speaker 3: That's only gonna work so much. They play well, not
- 17:03Speaker 3: well of if they lose by ten.
- 17:05Speaker 1: As we look at the first touchdown score odds between
- 17:07Speaker 1: the Vikings and the Bears, Aaron Jones in the familiar
- 17:11Speaker 1: spot playing against the Chicago Bears the leading the way
- 17:14Speaker 1: at four hundred plus four to fifty Justin Jefferson. Right
- 17:16Speaker 1: after that, DeAndre Swift at seven fifty, Jordanatis and TJ.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Hockettson browning things out. Let's talk about this matchup a
- 17:22Speaker 1: little bit more of the Bears haven't won in over
- 17:24Speaker 1: a month, while the Vikings have won three straight. The
- 17:26Speaker 1: Monsters of the Midway, can they come back from that
- 17:29Speaker 1: huge disappointment?
- 17:30Speaker 4: Get a win here, Cynthia, Anything's possible.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Oh, there we go.
- 17:33Speaker 4: But my model says no.
- 17:35Speaker 5: I have Minnesota by at least four points twenty three
- 17:37Speaker 5: to nineteen. Part of those numbers there dictate the total
- 17:41Speaker 5: in the game. I think it could be even more
- 17:43Speaker 5: than four points if you're picking up what I'm putting down.
- 17:45Speaker 5: But Caleb Williams did look significantly better last week. Some
- 17:49Speaker 5: of the things that we talked about with Thomas Brown
- 17:52Speaker 5: and targeting this defense where they were actually most vulnerable,
- 17:55Speaker 5: and also being smart about using his feet to rush
- 17:58Speaker 5: when it meant and it made sense.
- 18:00Speaker 2: KYLEB.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Williams looked considerably better.
- 18:02Speaker 5: I think if you're a Bears fan, I understand that
- 18:05Speaker 5: is a terrible way to lose a game. However, there
- 18:08Speaker 5: are a lot of things to be excited about if
- 18:10Speaker 5: you're a Caleb Williams fan, and for the future, so
- 18:12Speaker 5: it not all is lost.
- 18:13Speaker 4: Those stunned Monsters of the Midway are gonna be You're
- 18:16Speaker 4: gonna be okay.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Okay, so you said it might be even more than
- 18:19Speaker 3: four points. I say it will be more than four points.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I got it as a touchdown Vikings on the road,
- 18:24Speaker 3: and it's partly because Brian Flores he's got more than
- 18:27Speaker 3: one pitch.
- 18:27Speaker 2: It's not just all about the fastball. He's changing it up.
- 18:30Speaker 3: You know who's been very average and blitzery over the
- 18:33Speaker 3: last three weeks, the Vikings. The Vikings, after always sending
- 18:36Speaker 3: the heat over and over. Brian Flores said, you know what,
- 18:39Speaker 3: we're actually getting a lot of pressure with just our
- 18:42Speaker 3: regular four. Jonathan Gernard is playing fantastic. Van Ginkle's awesome.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Some no names up front. We got Patrick Jones and
- 18:50Speaker 3: he can just pick any dial on the menu. It's
- 18:53Speaker 3: like one of those restaurants where he has so many
- 18:55Speaker 3: different options and you just Picknickick. And I always worry
- 18:58Speaker 3: about the team that has the moral victory the week before.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Everyone's kind of higher on the Bears than they were
- 19:02Speaker 3: a week ago, because like, oh, they play really well,
- 19:04Speaker 3: they deserve to win that game, And sometimes I actually
- 19:06Speaker 3: feel like there's a letdown after the moral victory. Thomas
- 19:10Speaker 3: Brown put that week on tape. Now that floor is
- 19:12Speaker 3: can kind of cook up.
- 19:13Speaker 1: And the thing is where even if the Vikings do
- 19:16Speaker 1: line up like they're not going to blitz, there's still
- 19:18Speaker 1: the idea that Van Ginkel and Grenard and all those
- 19:21Speaker 1: guys could get pressure on the quarterback from any particular way.
- 19:23Speaker 1: They come in so many different ways. But the Bears
- 19:25Speaker 1: need to have a run game to try to make
- 19:27Speaker 1: Thomas Brown's offense somewhat successful. It's been tough for them
- 19:30Speaker 1: to do. This is not the team to get your
- 19:33Speaker 1: ground game going against. If we look over at next
- 19:36Speaker 1: Gen stats the ten rush defense categories, they are in
- 19:41Speaker 1: the top ten in nine of ten of those categories.
- 19:44Speaker 1: They're number one in four of those categories. They can
- 19:47Speaker 1: approach the run and the pass game so many different ways. Also,
- 19:51Speaker 1: late week practice checks for DeAndre Swift. Keep an eye
- 19:56Speaker 1: on that if you're paying attention to this game to
- 19:58Speaker 1: whether or not it's all Rope One or DeAndre Swift.
- 20:00Speaker 1: But we all expect the sadness to contain and you
- 20:05Speaker 1: in Chicago. Sorry, Bears fans, including our beloved producer Vegas,
- 20:09Speaker 1: not expecting a ton of points in this one. Here's
- 20:11Speaker 1: a look at the lowest point totals for the week
- 20:13Speaker 1: thirty nine and a half there down in Houston, it's
- 20:16Speaker 1: at forty and a half the Broncos and the Raiders.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Most of that may be scored by the Broncos as well.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Let's make some quick picks here on game debut. The
- 20:24Speaker 1: Chiefs and the Panthers KC dropped their first game of
- 20:27Speaker 1: the season last week in Buffalo. Do they bounce back
- 20:29Speaker 1: with a vengeance here against the Panthers.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Absolutely. I have a twelve point win for them.
- 20:33Speaker 5: This is the first time I've had them over their
- 20:35Speaker 5: number the entire.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Season long WOY eight to sixteen.
- 20:39Speaker 2: In this matchup.
- 20:40Speaker 5: And even if Isaiah Pacheco is one hundred percent clear
- 20:42Speaker 5: to go, which we are still unclear as of the
- 20:45Speaker 5: time of this taping, it doesn't matter. You're still playing
- 20:47Speaker 5: Kareem Hunt and potentially looking at him because the opportunity
- 20:50Speaker 5: to run against this Panthers defense will be a nice
- 20:53Speaker 5: return to football moment for Pacheco should he come back.
- 20:56Speaker 5: But ultimately I don't care. This is a team that
- 20:58Speaker 5: controls the ball. They have the most yard ten plus
- 21:01Speaker 5: play drives. They've scored on twenty four of them. That's
- 21:03Speaker 5: the most of the league.
- 21:04Speaker 4: They average six point seven plays per drive. They got
- 21:07Speaker 4: this one. She's got this one big.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Yeah, We've all got plus ten point wins and this one.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Let's go to the Bucks and the Giants. Mike Evans
- 21:12Speaker 1: expected back for Tampa, Tommy DeVito starting for the g Men,
- 21:15Speaker 1: with Danny Dimes now super on the bench, Spoine, a
- 21:19Speaker 1: couple other quarterbacks. Who do you think is gonna win.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Here, gret I think the Bucks are gonna win, even
- 21:23Speaker 3: before I heard that Danny Dimes was their safety on
- 21:26Speaker 3: the scout team.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Not just embarrassing. You got Mike Evans back on the field,
- 21:29Speaker 2: you know you're gonna.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Go win against this Giants secondary who likes to travel
- 21:34Speaker 3: a lot of times with their top cornerback.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I don't think Mike Evans is gonna worry about that.
- 21:39Speaker 3: I really like how the Buccaneers have developed their offense
- 21:42Speaker 3: without Mike Evans, and now when you add him back
- 21:45Speaker 3: into the mix, this is legitimately one of the best
- 21:48Speaker 3: offenses in the league. I think they'll be able to
- 21:50Speaker 3: run the ball efficiency efficiently and then get the ball
- 21:52Speaker 3: to Mike Evans.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Let's go to the Patriots and the Dolphins. Miami has
- 21:55Speaker 1: won two in a row, their longest streak of the season.
- 21:57Speaker 1: I think they make it three in a row here.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Guys win in twenty six to sixty eight on the
- 22:01Speaker 1: power of John hu Smith, who is back in our
- 22:04Speaker 1: lives after being targeted on just nineteen percent of his
- 22:06Speaker 1: route to the first four weeks of the season. John
- 22:09Speaker 1: neu Smith folks twenty seven percent target rate since then,
- 22:13Speaker 1: replacing some productions. It seems like Jalen Waddell might be
- 22:15Speaker 1: playing through something. I have no information there, but numbers
- 22:19Speaker 1: down for Jalen waddle across the board, including on stats
- 22:22Speaker 1: and production, next gen stats wise, speed wise as well.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I think John Hu Smith big replacement. Their fins get
- 22:28Speaker 1: a chance to win it here. The question is can
- 22:31Speaker 1: they make the push to the playoffs when we come
- 22:32Speaker 1: back to the playoffs?
- 22:33Speaker 2: Just around the.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Corner, which fringe teams are getting in and who's going
- 22:37Speaker 1: to be stuck watching right along with us. We'll cool
- 22:39Speaker 1: you in as you're watching game debut presented by Mercedes Dang.
- 22:42Speaker 2: You hit the forty nine ers with a fringe team
- 22:45Speaker 2: their fridge.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Oh so much excitement. Let's discuss some French playoff teams
- 22:54Speaker 1: and what we think is going to happen. This is
- 22:56Speaker 1: the AFC playoff picture of the Broncos right now, holding
- 23:00Speaker 1: on to that seventh and final spot in the AFC.
- 23:04Speaker 1: The Chiefs locked up a boy as of right now,
- 23:07Speaker 1: but looking on at the team they just lost to
- 23:09Speaker 1: the Buffalo Bills, leading division the Steelers as well. Do
- 23:13Speaker 1: you think the Denver Broncos, greg, who are currently number
- 23:16Speaker 1: seven in the AFC, do you think they will make
- 23:18Speaker 1: the playoffs? Yes? Or no?
- 23:20Speaker 3: I believe let's do it. Yeah, I think I think
- 23:23Speaker 3: bo Nicks gets this thing. But the thing, it's the
- 23:25Speaker 3: offensive what I don't know which? Either way it's up here,
- 23:28Speaker 3: it's all up.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I'm colorblind.
- 23:30Speaker 3: These things have never been friendly to the colorblind community.
- 23:33Speaker 2: I love all of you out there. You know what else?
- 23:35Speaker 3: I love the offensive line of the Denver Broncos. I'm
- 23:38Speaker 3: gonna show you some great bo Nicks highlights. Okay, first
- 23:41Speaker 3: of all, Courtland Sutton's still getting it done.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Sean Payton still getting it done.
- 23:45Speaker 4: That's like a crazy mouth to one handed catch there.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Sean Payton getting it done. You see a lot of
- 23:49Speaker 3: wide open receivers.
- 23:50Speaker 2: You know what else?
- 23:51Speaker 3: You see not a lot of pressure on bo Nicks.
- 23:53Speaker 3: This has been a fantastic offensive line when they signed
- 23:58Speaker 3: Quinn Minors in training camp.
- 23:59Speaker 2: It was a statement of intent.
- 24:01Speaker 3: We're gonna build through a lot of guys you don't
- 24:03Speaker 3: know up front, and they're gonna be better than you think. Heck,
- 24:06Speaker 3: and when they're not, bon Nicks can scramble just like.
- 24:09Speaker 5: That best tummy in football by far, bone Nicks, the
- 24:15Speaker 5: phone Nicks.
- 24:16Speaker 4: No, I don't know what his tummy looks like. He
- 24:17Speaker 4: doesn't push you anyways.
- 24:20Speaker 5: I too believe that the Broncos will make the playoffs.
- 24:24Speaker 5: And let's talk about pressure, but defense of pressure, because
- 24:27Speaker 5: this defense is absolutely.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Crushing, especially when they only rush for look Out, number
- 24:32Speaker 4: ninety nine is coming for your life. It's Zach Allen.
- 24:35Speaker 5: Last year, some people were like, oh, that was a
- 24:37Speaker 5: lot of money you paid this man and he's not
- 24:39Speaker 5: giving you the good return on investment. Ha ha ha, No, no, no,
- 24:42Speaker 5: this I mean, yes, he was good last year, but
- 24:44Speaker 5: this year he's exceptional. And that difference making and getting
- 24:48Speaker 5: that pressure, the quick pressure on opposing quarterbacks that has
- 24:51Speaker 5: been a problem for other teams. This is one of
- 24:54Speaker 5: the reasons why they're able to not necessarily they blitz
- 24:57Speaker 5: because they choose to. They don't blitz because they have
- 25:00Speaker 5: to and that secondary is backed up and they work together,
- 25:03Speaker 5: handing love, just like we put my hand in this
- 25:05Speaker 5: cleft here, Meaning they're going to the playoffs.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Initially, when I looked at this question and the rest
- 25:10Speaker 1: of the season, I thought it was a oath. But
- 25:13Speaker 1: now I'm a yes because I was looking at the
- 25:15Speaker 1: next matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs, and then I
- 25:18Speaker 1: remember the Chiefs might have already clinched by the time
- 25:21Speaker 1: they played that game. So this revenge game opportunity where
- 25:24Speaker 1: the Chiefs maybe come back, Hey, we almost lost to
- 25:26Speaker 1: this team. Patrick Mahomes might not even play in this game.
- 25:30Speaker 1: This may be a game where the Chiefs are getting
- 25:31Speaker 1: ready to go into having a buy and the Denver
- 25:34Speaker 1: Broncos need to get a win. Watch smash yourselves against
- 25:37Speaker 1: that wall. Because there's a couple of other really good
- 25:39Speaker 1: teams in the AFC that are on the fringe. I
- 25:41Speaker 1: think that alone pushes the Denver Broncos into the playoffs,
- 25:46Speaker 1: as Patrick Mahomes will be doing that watching potentially from
- 25:49Speaker 1: the sidelines. We'll go to the Dolphins, who have now
- 25:51Speaker 1: won two in a row. They almost knocked off the
- 25:53Speaker 1: Bills a few weeks ago. Greg does to Miami Dolphins.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Do they make the playoffs?
- 25:57Speaker 3: I don't think so because there are already a couple
- 25:59Speaker 3: losses behind the Broncos. Here, let's go no, because look,
- 26:04Speaker 3: they've been great on third down. They've been great with
- 26:06Speaker 3: a short passing. I want to extol the virtues of
- 26:08Speaker 3: the Dolphins. I think they get into the mix. Their
- 26:11Speaker 3: next four game is pretty easy. I think they beat
- 26:13Speaker 3: the Patriots fun Thanksgiving night game. I think that's the
- 26:16Speaker 3: one that could trip them up. But I think they
- 26:17Speaker 3: can beat the Jets and the Texans. The problem is
- 26:19Speaker 3: when you look at the two schedules between them and
- 26:22Speaker 3: the Broncos, for instance, or the Ravens. Who else could
- 26:25Speaker 3: be in the wildcard mix.
- 26:26Speaker 2: I think the Broncos have the easiest schedule. It's going
- 26:29Speaker 2: to be too hard.
- 26:30Speaker 3: It's that backup quarterback situation that put them in too
- 26:32Speaker 3: big of a hole.
- 26:33Speaker 1: All right, it's going to Joe Burrows squad playing an
- 26:36Speaker 1: MVP level. Is the quarterback defense? Isn't the Bengals four
- 26:39Speaker 1: and seven decency make the playoffs?
- 26:41Speaker 5: Bump Bump bu Sorry, Cincinnati, I really like you, but unfortunately,
- 26:46Speaker 5: especially with that win last week, it makes it very
- 26:49Speaker 5: very difficult.
- 26:50Speaker 4: You know who they have to play against the AFT North.
- 26:53Speaker 5: That is difficult when you're looking at the opportunity that
- 26:56Speaker 5: the Bengals had to make the postseason.
- 26:58Speaker 4: They just haven't won the games that they were supposed to.
- 27:01Speaker 5: They kind of squandered away some of those fourth schedule
- 27:04Speaker 5: situations that they were in. This is not a great
- 27:07Speaker 5: opportunity when your defense is giving up a lot of
- 27:10Speaker 5: yards on the ground, a lot of yards through the air,
- 27:12Speaker 5: and when you can't make kicks like last week, the
- 27:15Speaker 5: bad defense situation becomes even worse.
- 27:17Speaker 3: And then to be fair, like Joe Burrow like keep
- 27:20Speaker 3: hearing that he's like the MVP, but his team's not
- 27:22Speaker 3: helping him. Was like, hey, maybe win a game like
- 27:24Speaker 3: one of the five times when he got the ball
- 27:26Speaker 3: with the chance to go put the game away on offense.
- 27:29Speaker 5: You were to extol the virtue of Joe Burrow not
- 27:31Speaker 5: doing a taking a hail maker, saying.
- 27:33Speaker 3: They had them all like three times against the Chargers
- 27:35Speaker 3: in that game.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Score some points. Yeah, Joe, I didn't say it.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Let's take a look at the playoff picture over in
- 27:42Speaker 1: the NFC where it's Detroit Cynthia's Detroit Lions currently with
- 27:47Speaker 1: the buye. The Eagles leading division, as are the Cards
- 27:50Speaker 1: and the Falcons the Vikings in the wild card. But
- 27:53Speaker 1: let's look over at the Indie Hunt spot. Because the
- 27:55Speaker 1: forty nine ers the playoffs started today, they'd be watching
- 27:58Speaker 1: on some comfy chairs. Can they change that, Cynthia to
- 28:01Speaker 1: the San Francisco forty Niners make the playoffs?
- 28:04Speaker 5: Well again, if there's no this game this week is
- 28:07Speaker 5: actually a must win game if I'm looking at the
- 28:09Speaker 5: schedule going forward, and since I have them winning, the answer.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Is yes, by a little This needs to be a little.
- 28:15Speaker 5: Tiny smidge because I think that with Christian McCaffrey coming
- 28:18Speaker 5: back and his ability to change the way the offense operates,
- 28:21Speaker 5: especially in the red area, they really do have an
- 28:25Speaker 5: opportunity here to kind of get around some of their
- 28:27Speaker 5: defensive woes. So along the same lines of like what
- 28:31Speaker 5: I said before, like if there's no brock Party, things change,
- 28:34Speaker 5: If there's no George Kittle, things change. But Christian McCaffrey
- 28:37Speaker 5: is a really big difference maker going forward.
- 28:39Speaker 4: Should the rest of those pieces also be available?
- 28:41Speaker 3: Yeah, you look at their schedule the rest of the
- 28:43Speaker 3: way and it's very difficult, including this week. And that's
- 28:46Speaker 3: why I'm going to go ahead and say no. I
- 28:48Speaker 3: think it's going to be tough for two NFC West
- 28:50Speaker 3: teams to get into the playoffs, and I do not
- 28:52Speaker 3: think they're going to.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Win the division.
- 28:54Speaker 3: So I'm going to say a big, fat no for
- 28:57Speaker 3: the San Francisco forty nine. I had them, you know,
- 29:00Speaker 3: in the preseason we did over unders and I had
- 29:02Speaker 3: them as one of my very first picks to go on.
- 29:04Speaker 2: I just feel like, this isn't their year. Too much
- 29:06Speaker 2: has happened.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Yeah, well they're over under was like eleven. It was crazy.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Anyways, looking back, if we go back to the twenty
- 29:13Speaker 1: twenty three San Francisco forty nine Ers twenty eight points
- 29:17Speaker 1: per game, a top ten offense that the points per
- 29:19Speaker 1: game has only dropped three. The problem is over on
- 29:22Speaker 1: the defensive side. The offense still scored twenty five points.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I do not think. I do not think the San
- 29:27Speaker 1: Francisco forty nine Ers will make the playoffs. And there's
- 29:29Speaker 1: so many games that we can look back to to
- 29:32Speaker 1: determine where it all went wrong. I think at the
- 29:34Speaker 1: end of the season, they're gonna look back at this
- 29:36Speaker 1: early season matchup in Sofi Stadium where they had the
- 29:39Speaker 1: lead against a very, very hurt Los Angeles Rams team.
- 29:44Speaker 1: They could not close them out.
- 29:45Speaker 2: National teams has killed them all year.
- 29:47Speaker 1: It's about Sean McVay runs in in the postgame, bewildered
- 29:51Speaker 1: that somehow the Rams won this football game, and that's
- 29:54Speaker 1: gonna keep his good pal and old buddy and playoff
- 29:57Speaker 1: rival out of the playoffs. Maybe we'll see a lot
- 30:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna sit they a lot hinges on whether or
- 30:04Speaker 1: not they could beat the Packers this week. Let's go
- 30:06Speaker 1: to the NFC South, where the leading Falcons currently lead. Greg,
- 30:10Speaker 1: do you think the team that's leading the division right now?
- 30:12Speaker 3: No, now, even before you enter the answer the question,
- 30:16Speaker 3: it's gonna be a Bucks world in the playoffs. I
- 30:18Speaker 3: love this Bucks team. They're better than their record, and
- 30:20Speaker 3: you look at the Falcons coming up. They're schedule tougher
- 30:23Speaker 3: than the Bucks. Their defense worse than the Bucks, their
- 30:26Speaker 3: defense worse than almost.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Anyone else's defense.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Yes, like Kirk Cousins has made it happen from the
- 30:33Speaker 3: pocket all season, and that's great, But some of these
- 30:36Speaker 3: games that the Buccaneers have, i mean found a way
- 30:38Speaker 3: to lose against the Falcons, and that the Falcons have
- 30:40Speaker 3: found a way to win at the very end, a
- 30:42Speaker 3: little bit of luck involved in just generally no pass rush,
- 30:47Speaker 3: no good linebacker play either, especially in coverage.
- 30:50Speaker 2: It's not like they're a great run defense.
- 30:52Speaker 3: I think a defense this bad, especially with those odds
- 30:55Speaker 3: minus four hundred to.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Make the playoffs. Like I'm liking the upset pick here.
- 30:59Speaker 1: So if they don't just win, lose in the division
- 31:01Speaker 1: and they don't get in the wild card, let's talk
- 31:03Speaker 1: about another team that could be in that mix. The
- 31:05Speaker 1: Rams Cynthia currently sitting just outside of the wild card
- 31:09Speaker 1: at five and five rams in.
- 31:11Speaker 5: Oh boy man, that ninety seven yards across the way
- 31:15Speaker 5: or whatever we decided it was.
- 31:16Speaker 4: They are not going to like me.
- 31:17Speaker 5: Why Well, to me O, line play is extremely important
- 31:21Speaker 5: and they have been banged up and also when I'm
- 31:23Speaker 5: looking at you know, even coming back then being banged
- 31:26Speaker 5: up again.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Then being bad.
- 31:27Speaker 5: This has not been an opportunity to be consistent for
- 31:30Speaker 5: Matthew Stafford. I know Matthew Stafford is great when he
- 31:33Speaker 5: doesn't the play after being pressured. He doesn't even need
- 31:37Speaker 5: that to be excellent. Oh, line play just needs to
- 31:39Speaker 5: be better than average, and it just hasn't been. And
- 31:42Speaker 5: you've seen Kyron Williams now not be as effective.
- 31:44Speaker 4: So I kind of agree with you that.
- 31:47Speaker 5: I mean, unless it's the Niners and the Cardinals, I
- 31:49Speaker 5: don't think two NFC West teams came in, so right now,
- 31:53Speaker 5: I think it's Cardinals.
- 31:54Speaker 3: And just look at the name names on the bottom
- 31:56Speaker 3: of that graphic.
- 31:57Speaker 2: There.
- 31:57Speaker 3: You got the Eagles this week, which I think the
- 31:59Speaker 3: Rams could win, but that's tough. You got the Bills
- 32:01Speaker 3: in a couple weeks.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Don't you think they Couldn't they really going to win?
- 32:03Speaker 2: I think they could win.
- 32:04Speaker 3: I'm just saying, these are three really tough games. Yeah,
- 32:09Speaker 3: that's true, Darren Ridsey, this is four tough game. Frizzy
- 32:12Speaker 3: ball tom Rosse to do some.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Quick picks here on game debut, the Titans and the
- 32:16Speaker 1: Texans in Houston. Who gets the win? Greg?
- 32:19Speaker 3: The Texans get the win, but the Titans get the
- 32:22Speaker 3: cover with room to spare, I have this as a
- 32:23Speaker 3: one point game. I have the Texans on upset alert
- 32:26Speaker 3: in part because we've seen a better version of Will
- 32:29Speaker 3: Levis the last couple of weeks. Let's give Will Levis
- 32:31Speaker 3: some love. I asked for, like, let's get some Will
- 32:34Speaker 3: Levis highlights, And I was told no One that NFL
- 32:36Speaker 3: networks like cut a Will Levis clip. Since Week four,
- 32:39Speaker 3: it's like he's totally off the radar. He's making some
- 32:42Speaker 3: good passes. The last couple of weeks, He's taken a
- 32:45Speaker 3: lot of sacks. He's not a perfect quarterback, little mechanical
- 32:47Speaker 3: going through his reads. You could almost see him thinking
- 32:50Speaker 3: the coaching notes. But he's playing smarter and when he
- 32:53Speaker 3: does let go of that ball, it's pretty I think
- 32:56Speaker 3: he's gonna have a nice career, maybe not as a
- 32:59Speaker 3: franchise quarterback, but a guy that comes in and gives
- 33:01Speaker 3: your offense a spark. I think they keep it close
- 33:04Speaker 3: again into Texans offense that's really been struggling.
- 33:06Speaker 1: All right, Let's go to the Broncos and the Raiders
- 33:08Speaker 1: bow knicks through four touchdowns last week. Does Denver keep
- 33:11Speaker 1: it rolling, Cynthia.
- 33:12Speaker 5: They absolutely do have a seven point win twenty three
- 33:14Speaker 5: to sixteen.
- 33:15Speaker 4: But because we haven't talked about the Raiders at all.
- 33:17Speaker 5: And Brock Bauers is doing amazing things, we need to
- 33:20Speaker 5: talk about him. Number One, he had the most the
- 33:23Speaker 5: single game touch tight end reception record.
- 33:26Speaker 4: He made it last week.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 33:28Speaker 5: He also is tied for the two games of ten
- 33:31Speaker 5: plus receptions. This can you talk about someone with a
- 33:33Speaker 5: great career and going to have an excellent upset career
- 33:36Speaker 5: like this is an epic start.
- 33:38Speaker 4: And a team that really needs him.
- 33:40Speaker 5: They knew that he was going a telegraphed hey Worth
- 33:43Speaker 5: basically like when Gardner Minshew throws the ball, he's like,
- 33:46Speaker 5: I'm going to throw it to brock Bowers.
- 33:47Speaker 4: Doesn't matter, he's still going to catch it.
- 33:49Speaker 5: So congratulations brock Bowers and good things for the Raiders.
- 33:52Speaker 2: That's a happy thing.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it looked like on one of those plays rock
- 33:54Speaker 1: Bowers didn't think the ball was coming in him. He's like,
- 33:56Speaker 1: oh wait, why.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 33:59Speaker 1: The Cowboys and the Commanders Dallas says, drop five in
- 34:01Speaker 1: a row. I think dan Quinn comes in and exit
- 34:04Speaker 1: six and a revenge game. Well maybe not. He had
- 34:07Speaker 1: good times in Dallas. I've got the Commanders winning twenty
- 34:10Speaker 1: eight to sixteen on the heels of Cooper Rush throwing
- 34:13Speaker 1: the ball fifty five times on Monday Night football against
- 34:16Speaker 1: the Houston Texans. Fun fact, the Commander's defense since Week
- 34:19Speaker 1: four has twenty five sacks. They're playing good defense, They're
- 34:23Speaker 1: gotting pressure on the quarterback and the Cowboys can't really
- 34:26Speaker 1: run or pass right now? It's rough.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Is it really a revenge game when you were like
- 34:30Speaker 3: the highest paid defensive coordinator in the league and the
- 34:33Speaker 3: owner of the Cowboys? This week, Jerry Jones is almost
- 34:36Speaker 3: openly saint man. I kind of wish we still.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Had Dan Quinn.
- 34:39Speaker 2: You know, he think I think he misses him.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Maybe the revenge is against everybody posting all those twenty
- 34:44Speaker 1: eight to three memes all the time, Greg coming up
- 34:47Speaker 1: our favorite player props for week twelve. We went oh
- 34:50Speaker 1: and three last week. Ah, but the laws of science
- 34:53Speaker 1: and maths say that we're due, even though it's not
- 34:56Speaker 1: really true. We guarantee these props hit or were putting
- 34:59Speaker 1: Greg's address up on blue Sky. I didn't write that
- 35:02Speaker 1: stick around. We're back on game Dare you? On Sunday
- 35:12Speaker 1: at nine am Eastern Rich Eisen, Kurt Warner, Mooch, Cynthia Freeland,
- 35:17Speaker 1: and the rest of the GDM crew get you set
- 35:20Speaker 1: for a kickoff with NFL Game Day Morning folks tell
- 35:23Speaker 1: us how the forty nine ers can shake off their
- 35:24Speaker 1: Super Bowl hangover. Plus, did the Bills give the blueprint
- 35:28Speaker 1: on how to beat Patrick Mahomes is very simple. Have
- 35:30Speaker 1: Josh Allen All that and more are coming up Sunday
- 35:33Speaker 1: at nine am.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Alien grew this week. Nazi's taller than Kyle. This is great.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Yea Garifolo pull it off the very small edition of
- 35:41Speaker 1: Mike Garifolo top for Write this down here on our
- 35:43Speaker 1: program as we get to some predictions for week twelve.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Started off for the people.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Yeah, my write this downs have been as clumsy as
- 35:50Speaker 3: the cotton on this little table scape here, But I'm.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Turning around this week.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Josh Jacobs over seventy and a half rushing yards. Love
- 35:59Speaker 3: this matchup against the forty nine ers. I think they're
- 36:01Speaker 3: gonna have a winning game. Scriptyet playing from a head.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Love the way he's running that the scheme. Lafleur has
- 36:07Speaker 3: been cooking up run schemes ever since that loss in
- 36:10Speaker 3: the playoffs last year. He wants revenge on his buddy
- 36:13Speaker 3: Kyle Shanan. Josh Jacobs helps give it to him.
- 36:15Speaker 1: All right, get a write this down from Greg there. Well,
- 36:18Speaker 1: Josh Jacobs hitting that number. I've got Courtland Sutton having
- 36:21Speaker 1: over sixty and a half receiving yards against the Las
- 36:24Speaker 1: Vegas Raiders. If you want to know when the last
- 36:26Speaker 1: time this didn't happen. You gotta go all the way
- 36:28Speaker 1: back to October seventeenth, twenty twenty four. You know why
- 36:31Speaker 1: didn't happen because they were on a bye that with
- 36:34Speaker 1: the Denver Broncos are throwing the ball a ton. I
- 36:36Speaker 1: think Courtland Sutton gets you sixty and a half receiving
- 36:38Speaker 1: yards easy.
- 36:39Speaker 4: Cynthia, I have one that I guarantee will hit.
- 36:42Speaker 5: But the first one here is cade Aughton having more
- 36:44Speaker 5: than forty and forty nine and a half receiving yards.
- 36:47Speaker 4: I love this opportunity.
- 36:49Speaker 5: Remember, I know Mike Evans is back, but they need
- 36:51Speaker 5: to pass the ball even more. And you know Baker
- 36:52Speaker 5: Mayfield loves to throw the ball. But the one that
- 36:54Speaker 5: I guarantee is that Patrick is going to have the
- 36:57Speaker 5: happiest birthday.
- 36:58Speaker 4: Oh yeah on Monday, Happy.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Yay, Happy.
- 37:02Speaker 4: Guarantee that one hits.
- 37:03Speaker 1: That one's well, I think it might depend on the
- 37:06Speaker 1: results of the game over there on Monday night. Football folks,
- 37:09Speaker 1: Thank you, Cynthia, Thank you guys for thinking the happy birthday,
- 37:12Speaker 1: And then thank you I were spending all this time
- 37:14Speaker 1: with us here on game debut. Percented by Mercedes Business.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Lamar Look at you. You hold this man in your hands.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Good day. You've already got that beautiful sweater. What more
- 37:23Speaker 2: does he need?
- 37:23Speaker 1: A win would be nice, And you guys to watch
- 37:25Speaker 1: this next week. We'll see you then coming up on
- 37:27Speaker 1: game debut. Thanks for watching, everybody,
