- 0:00Speaker 1: Tibby and Cook. It's Fatty Harps over here. It's typ Central.
- 0:04Speaker 2: How are you good things?
- 0:07Speaker 1: Alps, Fatty Harps. Ah ah, I put up a new photo.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Speaking of Fatty Harps, I put up a new photo.
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's not that new, it's it's earlier this year. But
- 0:19Speaker 1: it's just a better photo. I never do this, Oh selfie,
- 0:22Speaker 1: Well no, it's not really a selfie. It's just a
- 0:25Speaker 1: photo that was taken. And I was looking at my
- 0:29Speaker 1: just I don't know why we're starting the fucking podcast
- 0:31Speaker 1: like this, but anyway, I was looking at my you know,
- 0:33Speaker 1: the headshot that you have on your Instagram or that
- 0:36Speaker 1: little round photo of you up in the corner picture, Yeah,
- 0:40Speaker 1: that one, that one, And I forgot that when you
- 0:45Speaker 1: change it on Facebook, it puts up a post, you.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Know what I mean, And so caused yourself.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Well, I didn't want it to be I just I
- 0:55Speaker 1: just wanted to like just take one out and put
- 0:58Speaker 1: another one in low key and sneak, and I fucking forgot.
- 1:02Speaker 1: And then there's all these people going, oh my god,
- 1:04Speaker 1: look at you, and oh lovely, and it's nice, but
- 1:08Speaker 1: I'm like, ah, fuck, how do I get rid of this?
- 1:13Speaker 3: A look ski.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Well, yeah, you know, it's just I think the old one,
- 1:17Speaker 1: I just I looked a bit like I'd been living
- 1:20Speaker 1: underground and away from sunlight for about a year and
- 1:24Speaker 1: a half in some subterranean fucking hideaway working on my manifesto. Like,
- 1:31Speaker 1: I just looked a bit fucking like Casper the Friendly Ghost.
- 1:34Speaker 1: So it's not amazing, it's just I just look a
- 1:37Speaker 1: little bit healthier in the one. I think. I'm not
- 1:39Speaker 1: sure anyway, fuck it, I mean there's I don't have
- 1:42Speaker 1: a lot to work with, right, So you do your best,
- 1:48Speaker 1: can I say? Before we get underway? So we record
- 1:51Speaker 1: this on zoom as you know. But I'm just telling
- 1:53Speaker 1: our audience. Have you ever used Riverside? Yeah?
- 1:57Speaker 3: I have when on other people's podcast.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Me too, he says, as he takes a swing of
- 2:04Speaker 1: coffee just to fire up those nine remaining neurons. So
- 2:11Speaker 1: Melissa wants to like, I'm recording this, you know, I'm
- 2:15Speaker 1: doing this video program which is a work in progress
- 2:17Speaker 1: and it'll come out one day everyone, but you know,
- 2:20Speaker 1: and so she wants to maybe record it in Riverside,
- 2:27Speaker 1: which is I don't know, it's like a different program.
- 2:29Speaker 1: This is like this is like my mum trying to
- 2:32Speaker 1: explain cellular physiology, me trying to explain technology. Right, I've
- 2:37Speaker 1: got no fucking idea, but you do. And most of
- 2:39Speaker 1: our audience knows more than me, right, So I mean,
- 2:42Speaker 1: I think the bottom line is correct me if I'm wrong,
- 2:44Speaker 1: that it records in higher depth, and it's just it's
- 2:48Speaker 1: just all round for this kind of production, it's better
- 2:51Speaker 1: than zoom, Like zoom is a great tool for what
- 2:55Speaker 1: you know, for meetings and everybody's got it and you
- 2:58Speaker 1: just click a link and bibbity bobby boo in the room. Anyway,
- 3:03Speaker 1: So on this what you're looking at right now, Like
- 3:09Speaker 1: as good as I can look, I look all right,
- 3:12Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Like for me, for the
- 3:14Speaker 1: Craig Harper bonce, for the sixty year old fucking nugget
- 3:18Speaker 1: that is my head, Like in this with the old
- 3:21Speaker 1: you project background, we should put up a picture of this.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I might put up a picture not of my bonce,
- 3:26Speaker 1: but the background so people can see. I'll put it
- 3:29Speaker 1: in the group. No, in fact, don't go. You just
- 3:31Speaker 1: need to go to the U project and you'll see
- 3:34Speaker 1: that background in the main picture there. So that's what
- 3:36Speaker 1: tif's looking at all the time. Anyway, my long winded
- 3:38Speaker 1: story is I don't look terrible for me. Then yesterday
- 3:43Speaker 1: I tried it in Riverside. I can't even say what
- 3:48Speaker 1: I said to Melissa because it'll be offensive to people.
- 3:52Speaker 1: But I look like on this other I'm like, is
- 3:57Speaker 1: that actually how I look? I am fucking so ugly,
- 4:03Speaker 1: Like I'm not even looking for sympathy. I'm not. I'm
- 4:06Speaker 1: not looking for a compliment. I went fucking hell, have
- 4:09Speaker 1: you ever noticed how on some.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah zoom like zoom is very kind with its light filtering,
- 4:18Speaker 2: is it? Yeah?
- 4:19Speaker 3: On the other one saying on yeah, it's like, oh fuck.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I look ninety years old. I look like I've been
- 4:25Speaker 1: taking all the drugs and eating no food since twenty two.
- 4:30Speaker 2: It's the equivalent of trying to get a decent passport photos,
- 4:34Speaker 2: like the equivalent video equivalent of a passport photo.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Melissa's like, yeah, but the quality of this and that,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I go, fuck the quality, look at my head. People
- 4:43Speaker 1: have got to look at that. Who's going to buy
- 4:46Speaker 1: a video program looking at that? So we're currently in negotiations.
- 4:53Speaker 2: It's much better quality video though, yes, yeah, a bit
- 4:57Speaker 2: of beyond hears.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I'm going to have to put a bag over my head. Well, no,
- 5:06Speaker 1: I'm not, I'm not what's the word. I'm not. I'm
- 5:11Speaker 1: not looking for a chop out, But it is. It's
- 5:14Speaker 1: an ongoing. You and I were chatting before we went live.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It's an ongoing trying to figure out in these ever
- 5:22Speaker 1: evolving days of AI and online content and video production
- 5:26Speaker 1: and podcasting, trying to figure out how to do stuff
- 5:31Speaker 1: that's high quality, I guess, and not just in terms
- 5:38Speaker 1: of content, but you know everything production value and audio.
- 5:42Speaker 1: And you know, by the way, this is probably not
- 5:47Speaker 1: really good podcast content. But I'm just fucking talking to
- 5:50Speaker 1: you now, So if the rest of you want to listen,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and that's fine. So Melissa was showing me this thing
- 5:56Speaker 1: tip in Riverside where so she puts up like this
- 6:01Speaker 1: right now. So let's say you and me puts up
- 6:03Speaker 1: this minute of video and I'm talking one, two, three,
- 6:08Speaker 1: four five, And as I'm talking, all the words are
- 6:12Speaker 1: written right, so like the actual text of the conversation
- 6:18Speaker 1: is written in real time. Yes, so as I'm talking, right,
- 6:24Speaker 1: So let's say I go, oh tif so I ah,
- 6:28Speaker 1: fucking hell, I fucked it up? Right, Let's say that,
- 6:31Speaker 1: and then I say to you, can you take out
- 6:33Speaker 1: that bit that says, oh fucking hell, I fucked it up.
- 6:37Speaker 1: So what you do is you go and highlight those
- 6:39Speaker 1: words in the text delete it, and that deletes it
- 6:43Speaker 1: in the video, so you don't have to go and
- 6:47Speaker 1: time code it. You don't need to listen and then go,
- 6:50Speaker 1: where did Craig say that sentence about his cousin that
- 6:53Speaker 1: he shouldn't have said? Or whatever the fuck it is?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Shout out to lead my cousin, hunchred cousins. I just
- 7:01Speaker 1: picked him. Yeah, it's I mean, the tech now is yeah, bloody,
- 7:07Speaker 1: I'm amazing. And the you know what else, Melissa did
- 7:10Speaker 1: you probably know this already, but so I think it
- 7:14Speaker 1: was in By the way, everyone, I don't I don't
- 7:16Speaker 1: even know how to use this shit. I'm not sponsored
- 7:18Speaker 1: by them. This is just me talking out loud because
- 7:21Speaker 1: I'm sixty and everything surprises me. So she got some
- 7:29Speaker 1: footage from oh my, last Monday Night's mentoring group. So
- 7:33Speaker 1: as we record this, it's Monday night, the sixteenth. We
- 7:36Speaker 1: kicked off our mentoring group, which we might speak about
- 7:39Speaker 1: last Monday night, and so she just took some random
- 7:44Speaker 1: footage like thirty minutes and I don't know what the
- 7:48Speaker 1: command is or how it works, but so what the
- 7:52Speaker 1: what the program did was it identified five video clips,
- 7:56Speaker 1: which but you know how you in the past you
- 7:59Speaker 1: could do that, but the shit, it just takes random
- 8:02Speaker 1: bits and there's no logical start or finish. It's like, ah,
- 8:07Speaker 1: but it actually picked these five parts of the conversation
- 8:11Speaker 1: where I started making a point, I explained the concept,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and then I finished that point, and then the video
- 8:17Speaker 1: stopped and it was like this whole self contained real
- 8:23Speaker 1: or whatever the fuck you want to call it, vignette,
- 8:25Speaker 1: little video clip without giving it any directions. How fucking
- 8:30Speaker 1: amazing is that?
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah, they've been getting better and better. I've played around
- 8:34Speaker 2: with a couple of those programs and they're always improving.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Well, I'm up to my eyeballs writing content for this program,
- 8:45Speaker 1: and I have hang on let me because it's on
- 8:47Speaker 1: the right of your face, because I have three computer
- 8:49Speaker 1: screens in front of me. Well, I have one massive
- 8:51Speaker 1: screen which is actually three. I am one, two, three, four, five,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I'm ninety four videos in so I've planned the content
- 9:01Speaker 1: for ninety four. Wow, that's been a big well, you know,
- 9:05Speaker 1: like I've topics ideas titles, and then a few lines
- 9:09Speaker 1: under each. So I'm just going to be expanding that,
- 9:12Speaker 1: but trying to trying to figure out how to connect
- 9:18Speaker 1: with people and do whatever we call it self help,
- 9:21Speaker 1: personal growth, behavioral psychology. You know, it's an ongoing lesson
- 9:28Speaker 1: for me as well. How do I share these thoughts
- 9:31Speaker 1: and ideas in a way that you know that connects
- 9:36Speaker 1: with people.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Tell me about your mentorship program because you haven't done
- 9:44Speaker 2: you haven't done one.
- 9:45Speaker 3: For a while, or nor have I.
- 9:48Speaker 2: And do you feel like the landscape's changed for others
- 9:54Speaker 2: and for you and your knowledge and how you're approaching
- 9:57Speaker 2: it or what?
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yeah, what's the happ Yeah?
- 10:00Speaker 1: Thanks? I think, by the way, this's not a sales
- 10:04Speaker 1: pitch anyone, because it's already started. So it's fucking the
- 10:06Speaker 1: ship has sailed, right. This is just talking about you know.
- 10:10Speaker 1: It's interesting because when you, like last week, I did
- 10:13Speaker 1: a face to face with a bunch of people at
- 10:15Speaker 1: Deacon where you're in the room, and a lady came
- 10:19Speaker 1: up to me and she said, I've done a million
- 10:21Speaker 1: things with you online and she goes, none of it
- 10:24Speaker 1: compares to this. This was She goes, I love it.
- 10:27Speaker 1: It's all good, she goes, But this is awesome. And
- 10:30Speaker 1: there is something about being in a room with humans
- 10:36Speaker 1: where you can just walk up to someone ask them
- 10:39Speaker 1: a question, they answer. It's not a million squares on
- 10:43Speaker 1: a fucking computer screen. And someone left their mic on,
- 10:47Speaker 1: and you know, Diane's going, darry All, take the dog out.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You know, it's like, you know, like, which happened?
- 10:57Speaker 3: I'm forgetting that.
- 10:58Speaker 1: They're oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, all that
- 11:01Speaker 1: kind of stuff, right, And there is something special about it.
- 11:04Speaker 1: But but the you know, the I guess the upside
- 11:09Speaker 1: of a mentoring program, Like I have people in America
- 11:12Speaker 1: who are on it. I have a lady in Rhode
- 11:14Speaker 1: Island from the States, I have people in New Zealand.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I have people all over Australia. It's only a it's well,
- 11:20Speaker 1: it was only meant to be fifteen people, but keep
- 11:23Speaker 1: it quiet. We ended up with seventeen. But it doesn't
- 11:26Speaker 1: really matter because some people watch it on delay, right,
- 11:29Speaker 1: but generally it's going to be around fifteen people each
- 11:32Speaker 1: Monday night on the on the call, and it's trying
- 11:37Speaker 1: to figure out that mix of like because you have
- 11:40Speaker 1: fifteen personalities and fifteen backgrounds and fifteen fifteen different human
- 11:46Speaker 1: beings with different stories and different reasons for being there
- 11:51Speaker 1: and trying to trying to go, how do I do
- 11:54Speaker 1: two hours of high level connection? So not only is
- 11:58Speaker 1: this a good experience for them, but also it's valuable
- 12:02Speaker 1: and it's the it's the catalyst. So you know, part
- 12:06Speaker 1: of me goes, I'm just going to go, I'm going
- 12:08Speaker 1: to Like when I wrote the copy or when I
- 12:10Speaker 1: wrote the promo for the program, I basically said, you know,
- 12:14Speaker 1: it's I'm not coming in with a preset plan. Week one,
- 12:17Speaker 1: we're talking about communication. Week two we're talking about mental health.
- 12:21Speaker 1: We because then it's not mentoring. It's really just a
- 12:25Speaker 1: weekly workshop, right, which I don't want to do because
- 12:29Speaker 1: I don't want to talk at people for two hours.
- 12:31Speaker 1: But then the other reality is you've got to be
- 12:35Speaker 1: careful because sometimes you'll have and I mean this with respects,
- 12:39Speaker 1: So if you're listening and you're in my mentoring group,
- 12:42Speaker 1: not talking about anyone in particular, but I've done these
- 12:45Speaker 1: things before, and you often get someone who hijacks the conversation,
- 12:50Speaker 1: who they'll ask a question which is not relevant to anyone,
- 12:53Speaker 1: it's only relevant to them. And it's like a fifteen
- 12:55Speaker 1: minute monologue, So you've got to learn to shut that
- 12:58Speaker 1: down without pissing anyone off. So yeah, it's a real
- 13:02Speaker 1: kind of a challenge I guess to be able to
- 13:06Speaker 1: facilitate that. And I can always just go, you know,
- 13:11Speaker 1: if the room kind of falls flat, I can always
- 13:14Speaker 1: just go. So let's talk about, you know, the unfairness
- 13:19Speaker 1: of life. Well, let's talk about you know, you and
- 13:21Speaker 1: food or whatever it is. Let's talk about the limitation
- 13:25Speaker 1: of inspiration and motivation. Let's talk about whatever, you know.
- 13:28Speaker 1: So I can always but I really want it to
- 13:31Speaker 1: be led by the group. But it's a challenge to
- 13:34Speaker 1: get people to talk up because the idea of being
- 13:38Speaker 1: in a mentoring group is good for some people, but
- 13:42Speaker 1: the reality of like and ready set talk. You know,
- 13:46Speaker 1: you get two people in the group who are chatty
- 13:48Speaker 1: Kathy's and then you get a few who are all right,
- 13:51Speaker 1: and then you get five who want to sit up
- 13:53Speaker 1: the back and that's okay as well. Yeah, so yeah,
- 13:56Speaker 1: but it's it went really well. We got good feedback.
- 13:59Speaker 1: It's just I get should I say this, Yeah, I'm
- 14:02Speaker 1: going to be honest, I shouldn't say this, but it's true.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I get a little bit frustrated, not with this group necessarily,
- 14:09Speaker 1: but because I want to shake people and I want
- 14:13Speaker 1: to go. Firstly, thank you for coming, thanks for paying
- 14:17Speaker 1: some bucks and all that, but do the fucking work now,
- 14:21Speaker 1: Like seeing me on Monday night for two hours isn't
- 14:24Speaker 1: the point? Like it's just that's the opening of the door.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And even if the information's great, and even if I'm
- 14:31Speaker 1: funny and I tell stories, and even if it's all relevant,
- 14:34Speaker 1: which it won't be, but you know, then what I
- 14:37Speaker 1: care is what you do between this Monday night and
- 14:39Speaker 1: next Monday night. So but you know you can't get
- 14:43Speaker 1: like you can't make people ready, can you?
- 14:46Speaker 3: No? No, Well I was interested.
- 14:50Speaker 2: When you're calling yours a mentoring group, I just I
- 14:55Speaker 2: haven't done anything with groups for I think it's two years.
- 14:58Speaker 2: And I started toying with the idea and then I
- 15:01Speaker 2: did a survey and got a lot of interest. On shit,
- 15:03Speaker 2: I better, I better get my skates on, because if
- 15:05Speaker 2: it's going to be this year, it kind of has
- 15:07Speaker 2: to start soon as I'm back from India. So I
- 15:09Speaker 2: launched it. And after I had started talking about it
- 15:12Speaker 2: and sharing about it and getting people sign up, I
- 15:15Speaker 2: was like, it's interesting. I've I've called it a ten
- 15:18Speaker 2: week coaching program sometimes, I've said this course sometimes and
- 15:23Speaker 2: I'm like.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Is it coaching? Like that idea of is it coaching?
- 15:26Speaker 3: Is it mentoring?
- 15:27Speaker 2: What's other people's perception of those things when they read it?
- 15:33Speaker 3: How does it land with them?
- 15:34Speaker 2: What made you select the idea of mentoring over calling
- 15:39Speaker 2: it a coaching.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Yeah, because well, for me, mentoring, coaching are kind of
- 15:44Speaker 1: first cousins. Yeah, But like for me, so my and
- 15:49Speaker 1: again these are all in some ways program, workshop, mentoring,
- 15:54Speaker 1: you know, coaching, whatever, These are all somewhat interchangeable. But
- 16:02Speaker 1: for me, like a program is where Craig Ha's got
- 16:06Speaker 1: ten weeks of content that he's going to share and
- 16:10Speaker 1: each week he talks about a particular topic or two
- 16:13Speaker 1: or three topics or subjects, and then he'll answer questions
- 16:17Speaker 1: and then he might give some homework for want of
- 16:20Speaker 1: a better term, and then he fucks off and then
- 16:22Speaker 1: he comes back next week and he does something different. Yeah,
- 16:26Speaker 1: but I'd like, I want I want people to be
- 16:30Speaker 1: able to ask things and open doors that are relevant
- 16:37Speaker 1: to them, because I might talk about something that's really
- 16:42Speaker 1: interesting to the majority and really relevant and true and
- 16:46Speaker 1: scientifically valid, and but it's not. It's not relevant to
- 16:51Speaker 1: fourteen and fifteen. So despite the fact that I'm articulate
- 16:54Speaker 1: and I can string some words together and tell a
- 16:56Speaker 1: story and the content is all good, well, if it's
- 16:59Speaker 1: not real to the people where they're at, then there's
- 17:02Speaker 1: no fucking value. So that's why, you know, my it's
- 17:08Speaker 1: better these days, But companies used to get quite nervous
- 17:10Speaker 1: when I would show up without handouts and without a
- 17:15Speaker 1: PowerPoint presentation and without slides. They're like, where's your presentation?
- 17:20Speaker 1: I'm like in my head and they're like what and
- 17:26Speaker 1: what like? And I go and I don't even know
- 17:29Speaker 1: what I'm going to say yet, and I start in
- 17:31Speaker 1: five minutes. That would terrify them, And I say, well, look,
- 17:35Speaker 1: I know what I'm talking about. I know why I'm here,
- 17:39Speaker 1: I know what the theme of your conference is. I
- 17:42Speaker 1: have an insight into your employees and the culture because
- 17:45Speaker 1: I've done some homework, and I know that we're talking about,
- 17:49Speaker 1: you know, high performance in work, in business and in
- 17:53Speaker 1: life and in health. Right, that's the theme of the day.
- 17:57Speaker 1: And if I can't talk about being a high performer
- 17:59Speaker 1: for an hour without a raft of notes, then you
- 18:03Speaker 1: should sack me now, right, So it's that for me,
- 18:07Speaker 1: it's always been that really nice intersection of planning and freestyle,
- 18:16Speaker 1: you know, and I think you know. I think you're
- 18:19Speaker 1: the same. I think you and I a bit of planning,
- 18:24Speaker 1: probably for you at this stage, a bit more planning
- 18:28Speaker 1: than me, just because you're still on the journey. I'm
- 18:30Speaker 1: still on the journey, but I'm a little ahead of
- 18:32Speaker 1: you in terms of runs on the board, right. But
- 18:36Speaker 1: you and I are similar in that over planning actually
- 18:41Speaker 1: reduces performance or degrades performance. Like if I'm too planned,
- 18:45Speaker 1: too structured, then I fuck up because I just get
- 18:49Speaker 1: up there and bang on and then I go fuck,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I'm on slide seven and I haven't even opened the
- 18:53Speaker 1: door to slide too, And then how do I fix that?
- 18:57Speaker 1: And then I scramble. I don't use slides anyway, but
- 19:00Speaker 1: the times where I have, it's a fucking shit fest.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I tell you a funny story. I've told this once before.
- 19:07Speaker 1: But so there's a big conference in the fitness industry
- 19:10Speaker 1: called FILEX, which you've heard.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Of, right, Yeah, yep.
- 19:14Speaker 1: So for a long time that was the biggest deal
- 19:17Speaker 1: in the Australian fitness industry. And they had it in
- 19:21Speaker 1: Melbourne and I did the opening keynote. And this was
- 19:24Speaker 1: probably fuck fifteen years ago or something, and there was
- 19:29Speaker 1: a speaking agency who were looking at taking me on
- 19:32Speaker 1: as you know, one of their stable right, So the
- 19:37Speaker 1: lady who wanted to see me do my thing, I said, well,
- 19:40Speaker 1: I'm opening this conference and she's like, cool, I'll be there.
- 19:45Speaker 1: And you know, the bottom line was if I was
- 19:47Speaker 1: any good that they would take me on and represent
- 19:49Speaker 1: me as as an agent blah blah blah blah blah,
- 19:53Speaker 1: which I was already with a couple of agencies. But
- 19:55Speaker 1: that's okay, right, So anyway, she comes along, so I
- 19:59Speaker 1: overthink that the shit out of it. I plan the
- 20:02Speaker 1: shit out of it, you know, like for a week,
- 20:05Speaker 1: I'm like, well, this lady's coming. I'm going to be
- 20:07Speaker 1: fucking amazing and I can't just get up and you know,
- 20:10Speaker 1: so I've got to be amazing. I've got to be amazing,
- 20:12Speaker 1: And so I plan this breath taking, mind blowing power
- 20:17Speaker 1: point you know what. You know what I'm going to say, right,
- 20:20Speaker 1: and it's like I don't know, I can't even remember,
- 20:22Speaker 1: but let's say I'm talking forty five minutes. It's twenty slides,
- 20:25Speaker 1: which is probably fourteen too many.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Right, oh yeah, you know.
- 20:31Speaker 1: And then I get up and there's slide one and
- 20:33Speaker 1: it says Craig Harper exercise signist and all the shit right,
- 20:36Speaker 1: and it's and it's razzle dazzle, and then I press
- 20:39Speaker 1: slide one and then I start talking. And then about
- 20:43Speaker 1: twenty five minutes later, I remember, oh, I've got a
- 20:46Speaker 1: slide presentation. And then and then I then I awkwardly
- 20:52Speaker 1: and clumsily turn around to look at the slides. Then
- 20:55Speaker 1: I try to find the clicker. I can't find the clicker.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I'm looking for the clicker and it's that's the thing
- 21:02Speaker 1: that changes the slides. And I'm looking on the desk
- 21:05Speaker 1: where the computer is, and one of the people in
- 21:07Speaker 1: the audience goes, it's in your pocket, and I'm like, what,
- 21:10Speaker 1: it's in your pocket. So by this stage, I'm fucking
- 21:13Speaker 1: crashing and burning, you know, like I'm going down in
- 21:17Speaker 1: a screaming pile of flaming dog shit, right, and then
- 21:23Speaker 1: and then then I try to look at myself and
- 21:26Speaker 1: I'm like, ah, fuck, fuck fuck, like this is my
- 21:29Speaker 1: internal and then I just and then I'm on a
- 21:32Speaker 1: stage and I walk I put it down and I
- 21:35Speaker 1: go and I go and sit on the edge of
- 21:36Speaker 1: the stage. Right, So I go sit on the edge
- 21:39Speaker 1: of the stage, and I go, all right, I'm going
- 21:42Speaker 1: to be real with you all. So this is the
- 21:44Speaker 1: whole audience. I go, I'm going to be real. I go,
- 21:47Speaker 1: see that lady over there, So I point to the
- 21:50Speaker 1: lady from I go, let me tell you what's going on.
- 21:54Speaker 1: I go, So that lady over there is assessing me
- 21:57Speaker 1: to see whether or not her speaking agency might want
- 22:00Speaker 1: to represent me. And so, in order to be amazing,
- 22:03Speaker 1: I did this right. So I tell the story. Everyone
- 22:07Speaker 1: like as soon as I go off script and I
- 22:09Speaker 1: just sit down and I be real. I bring everyone
- 22:12Speaker 1: back in and now they're like, oh you poor fuck
- 22:15Speaker 1: I get it. I tell the story. They're laughing, right,
- 22:21Speaker 1: I get everything back on track. I fuck off the
- 22:23Speaker 1: PowerPoint present and I go, are you guys okay if
- 22:26Speaker 1: I don't use this, like, oh, for God's sake, please
- 22:29Speaker 1: don't use it.
- 22:32Speaker 3: So, yeah, you've never wanted to touch about pointing it.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Was a fucking train wreck. And the lady said yeah.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Obviously she said yes, but she's like, hey, hey, I
- 22:42Speaker 1: go yeah. She goes don't use PowerPoint. I go, I'm
- 22:45Speaker 1: on it. I'm on it. But I know, I think
- 22:50Speaker 1: that's the thing of like you think broadly about, you know,
- 22:54Speaker 1: or let's go specifically about being on a stage in
- 22:56Speaker 1: connecting with an audience. You know, there are other people
- 22:59Speaker 1: who get up who are very, very very prepped and
- 23:04Speaker 1: very you know. They have a different personality, they have
- 23:06Speaker 1: a different style and it works, it works, you know,
- 23:09Speaker 1: and it's good. But they like, I'm like a dog
- 23:12Speaker 1: with three dicks I've got like the shortest attention span ever.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I get distracted by myself. I just start a story
- 23:19Speaker 1: and then I forget the bit I was saying up
- 23:22Speaker 1: to the story, which was the reason I told the
- 23:24Speaker 1: story was to kind of and I'm like, I don't
- 23:26Speaker 1: know why I told you that story, And they go, oh,
- 23:29Speaker 1: you were talking about Oh go, that's right, thank you,
- 23:32Speaker 1: And then I'm back on track. You know.
- 23:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I relate to that.
- 23:37Speaker 2: And to have something just another thing in the room
- 23:41Speaker 2: to rip your attention out of your head and onto
- 23:45Speaker 2: is very distracting. I've got to go, oh, I've got
- 23:50Speaker 2: to remember the sequence of everything. I remember the first
- 23:53Speaker 2: ever time I had to do a ten minute presentation
- 23:56Speaker 2: at Business Networking.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I got the creative team.
- 24:01Speaker 2: So I worked for a really cool personalized kind of
- 24:03Speaker 2: creative agency. We did awesome, awesome stuff at that time,
- 24:07Speaker 2: like really leading the market in personalized kind of print
- 24:11Speaker 2: that interacts with people's mobiles and websites and everything, and
- 24:17Speaker 2: it's pretty cool. So my it was a very clever
- 24:19Speaker 2: presentation and I practiced it and practiced it, and the
- 24:22Speaker 2: design team were going to design me the slides to
- 24:25Speaker 2: go with it so that they looked really good, and
- 24:27Speaker 2: I'd memorize the whole thing. I was like, I'm nailing this.
- 24:30Speaker 2: It's funny, it's quirky, it's clever, it's going to be brilliant.
- 24:33Speaker 2: And I'd practice and practice at home, and then they
- 24:36Speaker 2: didn't get me to slides till the night before. And
- 24:39Speaker 2: then now I was in my room the night before
- 24:41Speaker 2: with the slides and the moment I just had to
- 24:44Speaker 2: press a button. At each moment, my mind went black.
- 24:47Speaker 2: I went, all I have to do is press a button.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Now I've known this back to front and now I've
- 24:53Speaker 2: got the physical thin here and it was terrifying just
- 24:56Speaker 2: to do. You'd like, you think this small difference, and
- 24:59Speaker 2: now my my mind is blank because I'm having a
- 25:01Speaker 2: panic about it because there's a new thing that I
- 25:03Speaker 2: have to include what was already in my head.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Well, I think I think the problem for that with
- 25:09Speaker 1: you now, if you're listening folks, and you think you
- 25:13Speaker 1: know you should do what I do or Tip does
- 25:15Speaker 1: the way that we do it, probably not, maybe, but
- 25:18Speaker 1: probably not. But I think the problem with that for
- 25:21Speaker 1: you is and for me is when I'm thinking about, oh,
- 25:28Speaker 1: what dot point is coming up on my slide next,
- 25:31Speaker 1: and what does the slide after this? Say, let me
- 25:33Speaker 1: look at my notes down here, because I've got a
- 25:35Speaker 1: paper print out of the slides. When I'm doing that,
- 25:39Speaker 1: I'm not present with the audience. I'm not present, and
- 25:43Speaker 1: I'm my best when I'm just in the moment. Yeah,
- 25:48Speaker 1: And you need to know, you know, it's like whether
- 25:51Speaker 1: or not it's with food, or whether or not it's
- 25:53Speaker 1: with your career, or whether or not it's with sleep,
- 25:56Speaker 1: or whether or not it's with communication with you know,
- 25:59Speaker 1: your kids, or whether or not it's with you know,
- 26:02Speaker 1: managing and optimizing your lifestyle. You need to know how
- 26:06Speaker 1: you best work, and how I best work is if
- 26:11Speaker 1: I know who I'm talking to, what it's about I'm
- 26:14Speaker 1: familiar with, you know, the room, the subject matter, of course,
- 26:21Speaker 1: and then I just go and be me like and
- 26:24Speaker 1: it doesn't it's not always perfect, of course, but it's
- 26:28Speaker 1: consistently a much better outcome than me trying to be
- 26:33Speaker 1: the fucking breathtaking, the organized academic with his slides.
- 26:38Speaker 2: There's really something about harnessing a level of intuition in
- 26:44Speaker 2: those moments, like the more I progress along, the more
- 26:48Speaker 2: I observe it naturally happen, and I'm fascinated by it.
- 26:51Speaker 2: I'm fascinated by the process of just being in a
- 26:55Speaker 2: room and somehow, in the background of your mind you
- 26:59Speaker 2: are connecting with and obviously reading what sparks the audience.
- 27:05Speaker 2: And it's a very unconscious thing in the end.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Think about right now, Think about right now. So we
- 27:15Speaker 1: we didn't really have a big plan and which we
- 27:17Speaker 1: rarely do, Like we're going to talk about something right Yeah,
- 27:21Speaker 1: So you're sharing these thoughts and ideas, experiences, stories, strategies, whatever,
- 27:27Speaker 1: completely fucking unscripted. Yeah, in real time, it's organic. It's
- 27:32Speaker 1: all good listening. Well, some people might not like it,
- 27:35Speaker 1: that's okay, but you know, like you and I will
- 27:39Speaker 1: talk for whatever thirty minutes, forty five minutes. I don't
- 27:42Speaker 1: have notes. You don't have notes there, you know this
- 27:45Speaker 1: is the thing now you think like I'm always I
- 27:49Speaker 1: was going to say, I'm always surprised. I'm not surprised.
- 27:51Speaker 1: But the capacity that some people have to talk to
- 27:57Speaker 1: to sit down and talk with somebody about a subject
- 28:00Speaker 1: and be brilliant and amazing and breathtaking and create connection
- 28:04Speaker 1: and solve problems in real time and be a master
- 28:07Speaker 1: of that topic. Then you put the same person talking
- 28:10Speaker 1: about the same thing in front of one hundred people
- 28:13Speaker 1: and they can't fucking talk. But they're talking about the
- 28:18Speaker 1: same thing, but the context has shifted, right, or so too.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I don't know if you've had this many times, but
- 28:26Speaker 1: I've had this obviously. You project's been around for a
- 28:29Speaker 1: long time, but at least at least ten times where
- 28:34Speaker 1: the person that I was talking to before the podcast
- 28:37Speaker 1: started is infinitely more fucking fascinating than the person who
- 28:43Speaker 1: was on the podcast. I'm like, did you just take
- 28:47Speaker 1: a boring pill? Like let's hit the brakes? You know,
- 28:52Speaker 1: because you five minutes ago you fucking fascinating, interesting, funny,
- 28:58Speaker 1: this knew you. That's like on the microphone, Oh my god.
- 29:05Speaker 1: And every time I've stopped it. Every time I've stopped
- 29:07Speaker 1: it and I've gone, hey, you're great, But the moment
- 29:10Speaker 1: that we press the go button, you changed, and they're like, yeah,
- 29:14Speaker 1: I know, I feel it. I go cool. So I
- 29:17Speaker 1: know this is hard, but as much as you can,
- 29:19Speaker 1: I want you to pretend you're just talking to me.
- 29:23Speaker 1: And the more that that is, the energy that you're
- 29:25Speaker 1: in and the mindset that you're just having a conversation
- 29:29Speaker 1: with Craig right, and if you say anything ridiculous or inappropriate,
- 29:34Speaker 1: we can take it out at the end, so don't panic.
- 29:37Speaker 1: The more they can do that, the better they listening.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:41Speaker 2: You know, sometimes when you realize how much somebody is saying,
- 29:46Speaker 2: I noticed because I edit. I notice now in conversation
- 29:50Speaker 2: a lot more than I used to when people repeat,
- 29:53Speaker 2: have repetitive words, or say I'm a lot, and I
- 29:56Speaker 2: get frustrated because when I'm in a conversation and I
- 29:58Speaker 2: don't notice, but when I listen to a podcast where
- 30:01Speaker 2: a guest says a lot or does repetitive words, I
- 30:04Speaker 2: can get really frustrated. So it stands out and in
- 30:08Speaker 2: my mind, I'm like, I'd love to be able to go, hey,
- 30:11Speaker 2: can you don't do that?
- 30:12Speaker 3: But I know that.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Then the idea of them then focusing on that new
- 30:16Speaker 2: bit of information and being anxious about how much this
- 30:19Speaker 2: I'm like, well that's not going to work, so I.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Have to sack it up. But let it go.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, well that's yeah, that's true. That's true. And
- 30:28Speaker 1: it's like it's like, don't think about the number seven
- 30:31Speaker 1: and I'll give you a million dollars. Well, now you
- 30:34Speaker 1: fucked it up. It's all I can think about, you know. Yeah,
- 30:38Speaker 1: So the challenge with there's actually an answer to that,
- 30:42Speaker 1: or there's actually a strategy for that. So when you
- 30:44Speaker 1: think about, oh, you know, don't think about a fuck
- 30:48Speaker 1: whatever you do when you get up there, don't think
- 30:50Speaker 1: about that? Is you shift your you know, so how
- 30:53Speaker 1: you don't think about the number seven? Is you think
- 30:55Speaker 1: about a hamburger, or you think about the number sixty five,
- 30:59Speaker 1: or you think about a sunset. You know, like, you
- 31:02Speaker 1: can't focus on two things. Yeah, you can only focus
- 31:07Speaker 1: on one, right. You can be generally kind of have
- 31:11Speaker 1: an awareness bigger than one thing, but you can only
- 31:14Speaker 1: focus on one thing. So yeah, so anyway, the old
- 31:20Speaker 1: program has kicked off it's week two tonight. It's a
- 31:25Speaker 1: really interesting The next year is going to be interesting.
- 31:29Speaker 1: At Camp Craig, at Planet Craig and the U Project,
- 31:33Speaker 1: where I said, yesterday I did a solo and I
- 31:36Speaker 1: was talking about the ever present reality of trying to
- 31:40Speaker 1: have great conversations with great people and get getting great
- 31:45Speaker 1: people on. And as you know, it's like for every
- 31:49Speaker 1: ten emails you send out, you might get one response,
- 31:53Speaker 1: and for every response you might end up for every
- 31:56Speaker 1: five responses, you might end up with one person coming on.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I mean it depends, of course, but you know, the
- 32:02Speaker 1: ever present challenge, like as a podcaster, as a coach
- 32:06Speaker 1: mentor teacher, speaker, whatever the ever present challenge is. It's
- 32:11Speaker 1: being a For me, it's been a conduit to education
- 32:15Speaker 1: and inspiration and transformation. And I know that sounds cheesy,
- 32:19Speaker 1: but how can I engage people in a way that
- 32:22Speaker 1: will most likely lead to some kind of some kind
- 32:28Speaker 1: of practical, real world result. I put up a I
- 32:33Speaker 1: put up thing today in in LinkedIn which I like,
- 32:40Speaker 1: what this sounds funny when I say I like this,
- 32:43Speaker 1: I wrote it. But anyway, it's not the concept that's
- 32:45Speaker 1: not new, like it's I did not invent this concept.
- 32:48Speaker 1: But I wrote this post, so the actual So there's
- 32:51Speaker 1: the meme or the post that I put up, and
- 32:54Speaker 1: then there's my comments. So the the post is learning.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Learning is not about hearing something, reading something, and then
- 33:02Speaker 1: putting it in a mental filing cabinet and then knowing it. No.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Learning is about applying that knowledge to create better outcomes,
- 33:11Speaker 1: having knowledge but not applying it in an intelligent manner,
- 33:14Speaker 1: as like being a member of a gym that you
- 33:16Speaker 1: never go to, you know, and that's It's like, like,
- 33:22Speaker 1: I love I love all our listeners. I'm very grateful
- 33:27Speaker 1: all of that stuff, and that's true. But what I
- 33:30Speaker 1: love the most is when and it doesn't it doesn't
- 33:33Speaker 1: make any difference in my world or your world. But
- 33:36Speaker 1: what I love the most is when people go, oh,
- 33:40Speaker 1: so you said this in one of your podcasts, and
- 33:43Speaker 1: then I applied that, and then I kept applying that,
- 33:46Speaker 1: and then I did this, and then I did that,
- 33:48Speaker 1: and now this is how I'm different and my life's different.
- 33:52Speaker 1: That makes me so happy, like so fucking happy, because
- 33:57Speaker 1: they not because I didn't do anything, because I said
- 34:01Speaker 1: the same thing two thousands of people and no one
- 34:03Speaker 1: else did it. Or maybe they did. But you know,
- 34:05Speaker 1: when this one person takes this this idea, this theory,
- 34:09Speaker 1: this piece of information, this strategy, and then they operationalize it,
- 34:12Speaker 1: then they fall down and get up, and then they
- 34:14Speaker 1: get uncomfortable and they roll up their sleeves and they
- 34:17Speaker 1: reset their intention, and then they go again and go
- 34:20Speaker 1: again and go again. Then eventually they fucking break through
- 34:23Speaker 1: after all the breakdowns and they win. You know, they
- 34:27Speaker 1: do it, And for me, that's the you know, that's
- 34:31Speaker 1: the payoff. I fucking love that.
- 34:34Speaker 3: I really love the group stuff.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Like I really love the group stuff because I love
- 34:39Speaker 2: the dynamic of well, I love the dynamic of community
- 34:43Speaker 2: and connection and bringing people together. But the idea that
- 34:46Speaker 2: like everything is multiplied when you've got for you, you've got
- 34:52Speaker 2: seventeen heads in the room, you've got seventeen hearts in
- 34:56Speaker 2: the room, and seventeen people sharing, and sixteen of them
- 35:01Speaker 2: get to hear the other one share something, and some
- 35:04Speaker 2: of them go, oh that applies to.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Me, Oh, I get that.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Like there's so much magic. It's why I've always loved
- 35:13Speaker 2: running the group stuff much much more, because like I've
- 35:18Speaker 2: got as much awareness and resources and stuff that I've
- 35:22Speaker 2: learned as I have. But even people that haven't done
- 35:26Speaker 2: the courses or the things that I have intentionally have
- 35:29Speaker 2: got all of this experience and knowledge and perspective they
- 35:33Speaker 2: offer and you go, oh, that's magic. That's actually magic
- 35:37Speaker 2: for all of the other people.
- 35:38Speaker 3: In the room as well. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think
- 35:42Speaker 3: it's really special.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I think it's I think for a lot of people
- 35:49Speaker 1: it's like the limiting factor or one of the limiting
- 35:52Speaker 1: factors or barriers or hurdles, whatever we want to call it.
- 35:55Speaker 1: For a lot of people, is just self doubt. Is
- 36:00Speaker 1: is I don't want to get uncomfortable? Is what if
- 36:03Speaker 1: I get embarrassed? Is? What if I fail? Is all
- 36:07Speaker 1: those fear based things. And my answer is, oh, if
- 36:12Speaker 1: you fail, you fail. If you fall down, you fall down.
- 36:15Speaker 1: If you get embarrassed, you get Do you know how
- 36:17Speaker 1: many times I've failed, how many times I've fallen down?
- 36:20Speaker 1: How many things I did that didn't work? More than
- 36:23Speaker 1: fifty percent of the things that I tried to succeed
- 36:26Speaker 1: at I would say probably more than eighty or ninety
- 36:28Speaker 1: percent they didn't work. If we're talking about becoming a
- 36:32Speaker 1: success or super efficient or proficient at that thing, most
- 36:36Speaker 1: of the shit that I've done didn't work. But in
- 36:39Speaker 1: the middle of the stuff that didn't work, a few
- 36:41Speaker 1: things did. And in the middle of all of it,
- 36:43Speaker 1: the good and the bad, the peaks and the troughs,
- 36:46Speaker 1: like I became a better version of me, you know,
- 36:50Speaker 1: Like I'm more resilient, I've got more insight, I've got
- 36:52Speaker 1: more awareness, I've got more patience. I'm I've got more resilience.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I'm still a fucking idiot at times, and I still
- 37:00Speaker 1: have a way to go, But twenty twenty four me
- 37:04Speaker 1: is a better version than two thousand and fourteen me.
- 37:07Speaker 1: And that's not ego, because, like I said, I'm still flawed.
- 37:12Speaker 1: But I just know that in the middle of the
- 37:14Speaker 1: things that worked and didn't work, and the in the
- 37:17Speaker 1: middle of the you know, the great outcomes and the
- 37:20Speaker 1: complete fucking catastrophes, it's a bit about what you achieve.
- 37:25Speaker 1: It's a bit about what you created. It's a bit
- 37:27Speaker 1: about your outcomes. And this sounds also cheesy, but I
- 37:30Speaker 1: just think it's true. And it's a lot about who
- 37:32Speaker 1: you become. It's like who am I becoming? It's like, yeah,
- 37:36Speaker 1: what am I creating? What am I changing? But also
- 37:39Speaker 1: in the middle of that creation and that change and
- 37:41Speaker 1: that you know, I want to do better, create better
- 37:45Speaker 1: and all that. But what does be better mean? Like?
- 37:48Speaker 1: What does that look like?
- 37:50Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 37:54Speaker 1: Should we pull the pin on it?
- 37:57Speaker 3: Yeah? Maybe?
- 37:58Speaker 2: Uh?
- 38:00Speaker 1: Everyone with that very just hanging in the air philosophical question,
- 38:04Speaker 1: that very poignant kind of fucking what does that mean?
- 38:11Speaker 1: Tiffany and Cook? Just quickly, when are you going to India?
- 38:14Speaker 1: It's Monday, the sixteenth of September. When are you going?
- 38:17Speaker 2: I am hobbing on a plane on Saturday, the twenty
- 38:21Speaker 2: first Saturday morning.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Wow.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Yeah, to come around real fast.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Now are you very excited? I'm very nervously. What are you?
- 38:32Speaker 1: What's the emotion?
- 38:33Speaker 3: Nervous?
- 38:33Speaker 2: Now? Really excited. There's a group of us going. That's
- 38:36Speaker 2: part facilitated retreat. It's part there's a bit of hiking.
- 38:40Speaker 2: There's a bit of silent hiking. There's a bit of
- 38:43Speaker 2: kind of professional and personal development development. You can leave
- 38:47Speaker 2: your shit on the mountain metaphorical and literal. Actually, we'll
- 38:51Speaker 2: be doing both of those things, apparently, don't you. Yeah,
- 38:56Speaker 2: and see a bit of culture over there. We'll see
- 38:58Speaker 2: a bit of the busyness. We'll see bit of the
- 39:00Speaker 2: taj Mahal all of the.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Things, And what's something that you're like particularly looking forward to, Like,
- 39:09Speaker 1: is there one thing that you're excited about?
- 39:13Speaker 3: Really, the biggest thing is.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Being out of my usual around really different around the
- 39:24Speaker 2: type of people I perceive I need to be around
- 39:28Speaker 2: right now, So the right kind of thought provoking minds
- 39:31Speaker 2: and provoking minds in a really different space, so that
- 39:36Speaker 2: I can take my frustrations and current perspective and just
- 39:41Speaker 2: sit outside of it and go all right, when I
- 39:43Speaker 2: get back, it's going to be like this because I
- 39:47Speaker 2: feel like I've spun my wheels a little bit and
- 39:50Speaker 2: sit in frustration. But because of the pace of my life,
- 39:55Speaker 2: I don't get off the hamster wheel and implement the
- 39:58Speaker 2: stuff that I know I should implement. So the space
- 40:01Speaker 2: and people and mindset I'm looking forward to that.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Well, I know we're winding up. Feel free to jump
- 40:09Speaker 1: off at any stage. It's like, you know, do you
- 40:12Speaker 1: know what it's like. It's like when you see a
- 40:14Speaker 1: film and the film finishes, and then you're walking out
- 40:17Speaker 1: of the theater and then you realize there's highlights or
- 40:20Speaker 1: you know what do you call it? Outtakes bloopers and
- 40:24Speaker 1: then you just stand in the aisle. So right now
- 40:26Speaker 1: people are just standing in the aisle waiting for the bloopers.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Just like when you talk about you know, you go
- 40:32Speaker 1: away and then you know, like you on some level,
- 40:37Speaker 1: hopefully there'll be an awakening and awareness and all that
- 40:39Speaker 1: kind of stuff and you'll come back and maybe be
- 40:41Speaker 1: a bit different. What's one thing what's one thing that
- 40:45Speaker 1: you do right now that isn't really working that you think, fuck,
- 40:51Speaker 1: I need to either stop doing that or do that
- 40:54Speaker 1: very differently, or change my thinking, Like, what's one thing
- 40:59Speaker 1: that you need to crad shift on.
- 41:04Speaker 3: I do.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Too much of the small stuff that doesn't matter or
- 41:09Speaker 2: move me to where I want to be, and I'll
- 41:12Speaker 2: keep choosing it out of a fear and scarcity mindset.
- 41:18Speaker 2: And therefore I watch myself just not use potential that
- 41:26Speaker 2: is there, not take action that you and I just
- 41:28Speaker 2: and I see it happen.
- 41:29Speaker 3: I'm like, why are you letting you do this? To you?
- 41:33Speaker 2: Like you're the boss, you're the chooser, you know better.
- 41:37Speaker 2: But still and when I do that, life passes real quick,
- 41:42Speaker 2: real and you go You've you've let that happen for
- 41:46Speaker 2: one maybe two years now and one year frustrated about
- 41:50Speaker 2: it and you're the one, and it's your thinking and
- 41:52Speaker 2: it's your choices, like I'm a business.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Now, Alex Hormosy would say, or Chris Williamson maybe would say,
- 42:02Speaker 1: what are you currently doing that doesn't move the needle?
- 42:05Speaker 1: Stop doing that? Yeah, stop doing that? What are you
- 42:09Speaker 1: doing that? In terms of your goals and where you
- 42:11Speaker 1: want to be and who you want to be, does
- 42:14Speaker 1: not move the needle, does not move you forward? Easier
- 42:17Speaker 1: said than done, of course, before you send me an
- 42:19Speaker 1: email going easier said than done. Fucking by the way,
- 42:22Speaker 1: everything is easier said than done. Taking a ship is
- 42:26Speaker 1: easier said than done. Everything.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Take a ship in India apparently can be really easy
- 42:32Speaker 2: over there.
- 42:33Speaker 1: I'll steady on for it. Don't get don't get you
- 42:36Speaker 1: in all right, it's been Thanks TIV, Thanks HARP
