YANKEES POSTCAST: No Sweep in Minny, Judge Leaves Early
The Yankees and Twins went deep into extra innings today, with Minnesota walking off with a 5-4 victory in the 13th. New York rallied from a 2-0 deficit, tying the game on Anthony Volpe’s two-run double in the ninth, then taking the lead twice in extras. But the Twins answered each time, and Victor Caratini delivered the game-winning single in the 13th. Carlos Rodón pitched six solid innings, while Clarke Schmidt made his return from the injured list. The bigger concern for New York, though, is Aaron Judge, who left the game with right lower-leg tightness.
