- 0:13Speaker 1: Welcome to the Naughty but My Show. I'm your host,
- 0:16Speaker 1: Rob Shooter, and it's Friday, which means our dear friend
- 0:18Speaker 1: Corey Andrew joins us.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hey, Corey, are you there? I am here. Happy Friday everyone.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I see you in your bow tie? Are you doing
- 0:24Speaker 1: TV today?
- 0:25Speaker 2: You look so daper what kind of sort of I
- 0:27Speaker 2: did some TV stuff and I have to reshoot a
- 0:29Speaker 2: couple of intros because you know, I want to have
- 0:31Speaker 2: a bit more precise for the public.
- 0:33Speaker 1: But yeah, see your perfectionist, perfectionist, I like it. I've
- 0:37Speaker 1: become a little loosey goosey since I've been doing TikTok.
- 0:40Speaker 1: I joined TikTok, and in the beginning I was such
- 0:42Speaker 1: a control freak. I was so so detailed. Now I
- 0:46Speaker 1: just pull out my phone and talk.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Well on TikTok, it's much more of a nice, real,
- 0:50Speaker 2: sort of like unfiltered place. That's what they want. They
- 0:54Speaker 2: don't want the polish stuff.
- 0:55Speaker 1: They don't want the polish. I blame the housewives for this,
- 0:57Speaker 1: I really do. I used to like lights and cameras
- 1:00Speaker 1: and makeup and hair, and now you want me picking
- 1:03Speaker 1: my nose and throwing a vodka table like Yeah, they
- 1:06Speaker 1: literally do. I'll give you whatever you want more to
- 1:08Speaker 1: He's okay, let's jump into ashro What time is it,
- 1:10Speaker 1: my friends? It is tea time. Big story at the
- 1:12Speaker 1: Taba Show, A really sweet story to end the week
- 1:14Speaker 1: with Meghan Markle is saying that she's in the happiest
- 1:17Speaker 1: place she's ever been. So. Meghan was in New York
- 1:20Speaker 1: for Time Magazines one hundred summit here in New York City,
- 1:24Speaker 1: and she took to the stage and she said, quote,
- 1:27Speaker 1: I never imagined at this point I would feel so
- 1:31Speaker 1: happy and grateful to have a husband and a partner,
- 1:34Speaker 1: so supportive, and kids who are healthy and happy. That's
- 1:37Speaker 1: the main thing. I really do feel blessed. A couple
- 1:39Speaker 1: of things here, she said, I never imagined at this point.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Very interesting phrase there. I think what she's saying is
- 1:45Speaker 1: that after everything she's been through at this point she
- 1:49Speaker 1: did not realize she would be this happy. She does
- 1:52Speaker 1: have the perfect partner for her. She really loves Harry,
- 1:55Speaker 1: she calls him h h loves her. They have these
- 1:58Speaker 1: two beautiful kids. I think anybody with children knows that
- 2:02Speaker 1: happy and healthy is that it is the number one
- 2:04Speaker 1: priority and the number two priority for your kids and
- 2:08Speaker 1: she lives in a fabulous home in Montecito. It's a
- 2:11Speaker 1: really good life. So I think it's easy with Meghan
- 2:14Speaker 1: to get wrapped up in all the drama, in all
- 2:16Speaker 1: the hate on the internet. And we've got a little
- 2:19Speaker 1: bit of that in a moment in the story. But
- 2:21Speaker 1: I'm saving that to just emphasize the positive stuff. I
- 2:24Speaker 1: love this. I love that she said out loud, I'm
- 2:28Speaker 1: the happiest I've ever been. I'm not sure we say
- 2:31Speaker 1: that enough.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I agree with you. And you know, often
- 2:33Speaker 2: I say we don't celebrate our wins enough, and we
- 2:37Speaker 2: often just are looking for that next big thing, what's next.
- 2:39Speaker 2: And she's having this moment where she's like reflecting, and
- 2:42Speaker 2: she's like, you know what, I've done pretty well? Not
- 2:45Speaker 2: she snagged a prince from family a regular date, you
- 2:50Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 2:53Speaker 1: He hit the jackpot two with her though. She's exactly
- 2:56Speaker 1: what he wanted. He wanted to get out of that family,
- 2:59Speaker 1: and he figured out away and a person to do
- 3:01Speaker 1: it with. I like that thing you just said, Corey,
- 3:03Speaker 1: we should celebrate our wins. I'm actually shockingly good at
- 3:06Speaker 1: this because I have no business doing this. I'm a
- 3:09Speaker 1: real working class kid from Birmingham, England. It's an industrial town.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I say, it's Chicago, It's Detroit, it's down on its luck.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And for the fact that I'm sitting here making my
- 3:19Speaker 1: living podcasting and writing, it's an absolute miracle. Children kids
- 3:25Speaker 1: with my background, people I went to school with, for
- 3:28Speaker 1: not doing this, This was not a given. And I think,
- 3:32Speaker 1: like Megan, it was Bruce that really, my husband, Bruce
- 3:36Speaker 1: that led me to this extraordinary happiness that I feel
- 3:40Speaker 1: at this point. Pick your partners carefully, pick somebody who's
- 3:45Speaker 1: gonna make your life even even better. I love saying this,
- 3:50Speaker 1: I can say out loud. I think I'm the happiest
- 3:53Speaker 1: I've ever been right now. I've had some extraordinary opportunities,
- 3:57Speaker 1: whether it's working with j Lo or having my own
- 3:59Speaker 1: tea V show. I have had someone being an editor
- 4:02Speaker 1: of a magazine, traveling around the world with bon Jovi.
- 4:05Speaker 1: This is the happiest I've ever been, Corey, I really
- 4:08Speaker 1: love life right now. What about you?
- 4:11Speaker 2: You know what?
- 4:11Speaker 1: For me?
- 4:12Speaker 2: I say that I had to reflect recently and realize
- 4:16Speaker 2: that I'm here with my mom this week right For example,
- 4:18Speaker 2: when I'm helping her remodel her bathroom and I was like,
- 4:21Speaker 2: I was like swearing at how much work it isn't it?
- 4:24Speaker 2: And then I stopped and I said, but I'm very
- 4:26Speaker 2: lucky my mom is still here, and I know many
- 4:28Speaker 2: people don't have that. And I stopped and I said,
- 4:31Speaker 2: you know, it's a blessing that I'm here to help
- 4:33Speaker 2: remodel her bathroom. So I have to think about it reflect. Yeah,
- 4:37Speaker 2: it's a good thing.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I think mindset is so important. Now. A little bit
- 4:41Speaker 1: of a negative part here is there's a new poll
- 4:43Speaker 1: out in Britain where Meghan has really dropped down the pole.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Over a thousand people are ahead of her. Her popularity
- 4:50Speaker 1: is really small, it's only about seventeen percent. Although I
- 4:53Speaker 1: spoke to my Megan sources and they said she does
- 4:55Speaker 1: not care about a popularity contest in Britain. Yeah, that
- 4:58Speaker 1: isn't what makes her happy, building her family, her business,
- 5:02Speaker 1: That's what really matters to her. This is a popularity
- 5:06Speaker 1: competition in a country that she never really enjoyed and
- 5:10Speaker 1: never really gave her what she wanted, Like she wanted
- 5:14Speaker 1: to change the royal family and that clearly wasn't going
- 5:16Speaker 1: to happen. It was a mistake from day one, and
- 5:19Speaker 1: so walk away from it. If people don't like you,
- 5:21Speaker 1: you don't like them, walk away. If you don't like me,
- 5:23Speaker 1: I don't like you. That's my rule. I'm not going
- 5:26Speaker 1: to try and beg to get supported to be popular
- 5:29Speaker 1: with the kids that just don't like me.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and also, let's not forget like you just kind
- 5:33Speaker 2: of alluded to there. She literally was not really a
- 5:36Speaker 2: favorite ed. I mean, you know, she's had her problems
- 5:39Speaker 2: with the British press and British citizens quite honestly, many
- 5:44Speaker 2: who were not happy that Harry chose her as a
- 5:47Speaker 2: bride for whatever reason. So she's always kind of struggled
- 5:49Speaker 2: with that demographic. So she's like, you know what, I
- 5:51Speaker 2: don't have to worry about that, and I'm not going
- 5:53Speaker 2: to lay I'm living my life. And good for her.
- 5:56Speaker 1: That's right. You won't pay my bills. You won't pay
- 5:58Speaker 1: my bills like her. Good for Meghan. So lovely story
- 6:02Speaker 1: on Meghan being really, really happy, which brings us to
- 6:05Speaker 1: our pole question of the day. Meghan Markles says she's
- 6:08Speaker 1: the happiest she's ever been. That's a really great ever being.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Are you happy for her?
- 6:13Speaker 2: Now?
- 6:14Speaker 1: That's a tough question because it's about us snaughties. Now,
- 6:16Speaker 1: I know that we're a nice punch. We are a
- 6:18Speaker 1: nice bunch on this podcast, I think I know the
- 6:20Speaker 1: results of this, But on other shows, I'm a little wary.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Although we do have a lot of British listeners our podcast, now, Cory,
- 6:28Speaker 1: we're a top ten entertainment podcast around the world. We're
- 6:31Speaker 1: in over sixty countries, so if you're listening to us
- 6:34Speaker 1: in a different language, I hope you can make some
- 6:37Speaker 1: sense of this ridiculous accent. I hope you can, but
- 6:40Speaker 1: I wouldn'der where the vote's going to be in Britain?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Are you happy for her even if you don't like
- 6:46Speaker 1: Meghan Mokel, I get it, I do get it. I
- 6:48Speaker 1: do like her, but I do get people that don't
- 6:52Speaker 1: like her. You still want someone to be happy.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I do.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Even people that don't make me necessarily happy, I want
- 6:57Speaker 1: them to be happy. So yeah, wish them well, Oh
- 7:00Speaker 1: you're happy for her? Don't let me die. You imagine
- 7:03Speaker 1: if this pole is the opposite of what I expect.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Go vote on that trinter page I Naughty nys raw
- 7:08Speaker 1: by Facebook pages Nordy goes it and be sure to
- 7:10Speaker 1: check like a Monday. Here your results Hey, Corey Love,
- 7:13Speaker 1: what are you working on that?
- 7:14Speaker 2: Yes, well, this is like an inescapable headline lately, the
- 7:16Speaker 2: whole Outer Space thing with Katy Perry and Gail King
- 7:19Speaker 2: and that whole crew. And so Katy Perry is blasting
- 7:22Speaker 2: off on her new tour and she's mocking all the
- 7:24Speaker 2: space haters in her Mexico City show opener. So, of course,
- 7:28Speaker 2: the pop star she kicked off this big Lifetime's tour
- 7:31Speaker 2: and she's got this explosive show that's kind of like
- 7:34Speaker 2: a cosmic clap back at her critics in a way,
- 7:36Speaker 2: because she's in the show that has a very big
- 7:38Speaker 2: cosmic theme, and you know, she's making it very crystal
- 7:41Speaker 2: clear that she is fully embracing her new galactic era.
- 7:45Speaker 2: And she was dressed in like a futuristic silver metal
- 7:48Speaker 2: body suit and she's sort above the stage, and she
- 7:51Speaker 2: recreated her flight choreography in a dramatic fashion, and at
- 7:54Speaker 2: one point she floated mid air under a spotlight. It
- 7:57Speaker 2: was like a wink to her real life launching Space
- 8:00Speaker 2: later earlier this month, and she says, has anyone ever
- 8:03Speaker 2: called your dreams crazy? She asked a crowd, and they
- 8:06Speaker 2: went wild when she actually asked that because they all
- 8:09Speaker 2: obviously know what she's doing, what she's talking about, because
- 8:12Speaker 2: you cannot escape the story. But she knows people mocked her,
- 8:15Speaker 2: but she does not care. And that is what one
- 8:18Speaker 2: insider has shared with us. Let you know what she says.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Laugh all you want, but I am flying hot. So
- 8:25Speaker 2: you know, there was a lot of backlash because I
- 8:27Speaker 2: think people thought that this trip seemed a little disconnected
- 8:31Speaker 2: from what was happening right now, maybe in the political
- 8:33Speaker 2: landscape or whatever. But I feel like, you know, it's people.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It's just like the Megan story. This is an example
- 8:39Speaker 2: of other people ranting on someone's parade. Katie's very happy
- 8:43Speaker 2: and excited about this experience, and people in the public
- 8:45Speaker 2: are mocking it, making her feel bad about it, reducing
- 8:48Speaker 2: its reducing its value, if you will, And I think
- 8:53Speaker 2: it's really unfair. So she's allowing that not to happen.
- 8:56Speaker 2: She's not letting other people ruin her parade. So I
- 9:01Speaker 2: love that about the story. What do you think.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I love it. It's harder to do than it acts.
- 9:06Speaker 1: When you do something you really enjoy and people mock you,
- 9:09Speaker 1: that's the cruelest type of person out there. Taylor Swift said,
- 9:12Speaker 1: that anybody that takes away your joy just for a minute,
- 9:16Speaker 1: it's really really cruel. If you enjoy singing Madonna in
- 9:19Speaker 1: the shower, then sing her. Don't let what I think
- 9:23Speaker 1: change that. If you want to dance down the street
- 9:25Speaker 1: on your way to work, don't let people giggle and
- 9:29Speaker 1: get you stop your joy. I love seeing people find
- 9:33Speaker 1: their joy, and Katie Perry is full of joy. I
- 9:36Speaker 1: have friends who work on the show and they said
- 9:38Speaker 1: it's fantastic. They said, she's out there singing, dancing, The
- 9:41Speaker 1: sets are enormous, the costume changes, it's just the real
- 9:45Speaker 1: joy of show, and I think we need that right now.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Have some fun. Let yourself, give yourself permission to have fun. Yes,
- 9:51Speaker 1: I scheduling too my day. Every single day fun. I
- 9:54Speaker 1: write it on my calendar as if it's a meeting
- 9:57Speaker 1: that I have to go to. And I just have
- 9:59Speaker 1: a a little bit of fun every single day. Katy Perry,
- 10:03Speaker 1: you make me smile. Okay, this story is really blowing
- 10:06Speaker 1: up online. I broke it first. Lindsa vander Pump from
- 10:10Speaker 1: the Bravo Shows has a new show on Hulu. Nothing
- 10:12Speaker 1: to do with NBC or Bravo. This is Disney and
- 10:15Speaker 1: she's bringing back a disgraced star to help boost her ratings.
- 10:19Speaker 1: So Lisa's under fire for cozying up with a very
- 10:22Speaker 1: controversial ex Vander Pump Rules celebrity called Stassy Stroda, who
- 10:27Speaker 1: was fired from Brava in twenty twenty for her involvement
- 10:32Speaker 1: in a racial incident that rob the TV world at
- 10:35Speaker 1: the moment. Now, let's just be clear here, it's really
- 10:38Speaker 1: hard to get fired from Bravo. They let you go
- 10:41Speaker 1: to jail, they let you flip at the table, they
- 10:43Speaker 1: let you pull a wid you gotta do something bad here.
- 10:45Speaker 1: There was an internal investigation and Brava said we're out.
- 10:48Speaker 1: She can't work for us anymore. So a lot of
- 10:51Speaker 1: people think Stasy's return to Bravo. The brather folks are
- 10:54Speaker 1: absolutely not. This has nothing to do with us. This
- 10:57Speaker 1: is Lisa who got another show on a competing network
- 10:59Speaker 1: which a little shady in itself, and now she's bringing
- 11:03Speaker 1: back Stassy. So sources said, quote, it's desperate. This is
- 11:08Speaker 1: Lisa's attempt to get ratings. She's willing to stand next
- 11:13Speaker 1: to somebody who Bravo distanced themselves from. It's just not
- 11:17Speaker 1: a good look. Just to remind everybody, Stassy was asked
- 11:22Speaker 1: after reportedly calling the cops on the only black cast
- 11:26Speaker 1: mate for a crime she didn't commit.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it was pretty bad. It was pretty bad. And
- 11:32Speaker 2: you know this also caused into question now, especially in
- 11:35Speaker 2: today's sort of landscape of allyship as we call it,
- 11:38Speaker 2: where people are asking people to be valued and be
- 11:41Speaker 2: honored and stand up for what they believe in. And
- 11:44Speaker 2: so when you align yourself with someone like this consciously,
- 11:47Speaker 2: what message are you sending? So it's really I don't
- 11:51Speaker 2: know if Lisa realizes what she's doing to her own brand,
- 11:53Speaker 2: because you know, the public wants accountability these days, and
- 11:56Speaker 2: if you're consciously saying I'm going to stand with this
- 11:59Speaker 2: person who you said Arab, even Bravo is like, no, Mayle.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Enough.
- 12:04Speaker 2: So yeah, so Lisa have to really make sure she's
- 12:06Speaker 2: not damaging her own brand by being this desperate to
- 12:09Speaker 2: have ratings or whatever she's trying to get from it.
- 12:12Speaker 1: You know, I think I think she is. I turned
- 12:15Speaker 1: down a lot of interviews and TV shows that are
- 12:18Speaker 1: just too extreme for me, and so I don't need
- 12:21Speaker 1: to name names, but there's certain channels or personalities and
- 12:24Speaker 1: podcasts that I don't go on. Maybe I could make
- 12:26Speaker 1: this show even more successful if I was more radical,
- 12:29Speaker 1: if I said more shocking stuff. It's just not my vibe.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I like my piece of the pie. And Lisa has
- 12:35Speaker 1: so much. It's not like she needs much more. Is
- 12:38Speaker 1: she going to be any more favorous by having another show? No,
- 12:43Speaker 1: I don't get it. It's she agreed and sheer bad judgment. Okay,
- 12:48Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez is refusing to negotiate the price of her house.
- 12:53Speaker 1: It's for sale. She owns it with Ben Affleck. Ben
- 12:55Speaker 1: wants to cut the price.
- 12:56Speaker 2: J Lo saying no, no, Yeah, she's not evident, but
- 13:00Speaker 2: you know her her motives are what's at question here though,
- 13:03Speaker 2: So Jennifer Lopez, Yeah, she's refusing to sell this sixty
- 13:05Speaker 2: eight million dollar mansion. And they say it's just to
- 13:10Speaker 2: spite Oh Ben, Yeah, we've got like a little inside
- 13:14Speaker 2: on this. And so basically Jennifer, you know, she's refusing it.
- 13:17Speaker 2: And now it's in Beverly Hills and it's how she
- 13:19Speaker 2: wants shared with Ben Affleck, you know, and despite the
- 13:21Speaker 2: property just sitting on the market for Neil nine months,
- 13:24Speaker 2: she's not budging. Now, this is typical Ben. A source
- 13:28Speaker 2: close to the situation tells hashtag shooter scoop. Now, when
- 13:31Speaker 2: things get hard, Ben runs, and that's what he did
- 13:34Speaker 2: in this marriage, and Jen is sick of it. So
- 13:37Speaker 2: the idea here is that she's retaliating by not selling
- 13:40Speaker 2: this house, although Ken apparently needs the money to fins
- 13:43Speaker 2: new projects, and Jennifer I think she knows that too.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Now she's like, that's not my problem. I'm not selling.
- 13:50Speaker 2: And apparently they even got like, you know, offers that
- 13:53Speaker 2: are not too bad, and she's like, no, no, So
- 13:56Speaker 2: she's just really apparently she's reportedly still great the situation,
- 14:00Speaker 2: and she feels like she bent over backwards to make
- 14:03Speaker 2: things work for Ben and herself, and now he wants
- 14:05Speaker 2: to rush the sale because you know, you know, she's
- 14:08Speaker 2: feeling pressure to do it and he's feeling the pressure
- 14:10Speaker 2: and she does not want to do it.
- 14:12Speaker 1: So well, she doesn't want to do Yeah, I used
- 14:15Speaker 1: to work with Jennifer. I know. The one thing about
- 14:16Speaker 1: Jennifer is you don't message Jennifer Lopez on her money.
- 14:19Speaker 1: She wants her money, and she thinks his house is
- 14:21Speaker 1: worth what is it, sixty eight million? So if you
- 14:24Speaker 1: offer sixty, no, she wants that eight like she's really
- 14:27Speaker 1: really strung about this. She knows her worth and so
- 14:30Speaker 1: if Ben's willing to cut and run and just get
- 14:32Speaker 1: rid of it, I think he probably just wants to
- 14:34Speaker 1: end this chapter. Yeah, She's like, oh wait, wait, and
- 14:36Speaker 1: I'll get my money. She's very very patient. Maybe not
- 14:40Speaker 1: in romance, but in business. Jlo is no fool. She's like,
- 14:43Speaker 1: I'm not losing money on this house. Like last enough
- 14:46Speaker 1: marrying Ben emotionally and what was going on, how awful
- 14:52Speaker 1: it ended. So part of it two is like, yo, Jennifer,
- 14:55Speaker 1: you don't need the moonon hold on to it. Although
- 14:57Speaker 1: all the taxes, can you imagine how much it's costing
- 14:59Speaker 1: them to heap that has it's a bad time to
- 15:02Speaker 1: sell houses with everything going on in the incarna mill
- 15:05Speaker 1: for tariffs.
- 15:06Speaker 2: And yeah, well, I mean certain population is never is
- 15:09Speaker 2: never going.
- 15:09Speaker 1: To be never. You're right, and that's this population, that's
- 15:12Speaker 1: your population. Yeah, I mean, can you imagine sixty eight?
- 15:15Speaker 1: I can't even.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Imagine that could be too much world someone living in
- 15:19Speaker 2: it without me knowing.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I think that's why they probably bought it, because they
- 15:24Speaker 1: really didn't want to spend that much time together, like
- 15:26Speaker 1: couples that buy these massive houses. I'm like, you don't
- 15:29Speaker 1: like each other reason. I live in a tiny, little
- 15:31Speaker 1: New York apartment. I love it. I think it's too big.
- 15:33Speaker 2: How do you have a relationship like that, that you
- 15:35Speaker 2: have a closeness with your partner when they have their
- 15:37Speaker 2: own wing. That's right.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Yeah, the phone them, text them to meet for dinner. Okay,
- 15:42Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:44Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nic Show,
- 15:48Speaker 1: your host, Rob Shooter Halet's get to the polls. That
- 15:51Speaker 1: last year we talked about Taylor Swift being potentially subpoena
- 15:54Speaker 1: did in the Blake Lively case. Very very soon, I'm
- 15:57Speaker 1: hearing in the next few days. Will these two ever
- 15:59Speaker 1: be friends? This is a big deal. Taylor does not
- 16:01Speaker 1: like MESSI that's how I look. Eighty percent said, no,
- 16:04Speaker 1: it's over. This friendship is over. I can imagine it is.
- 16:07Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what the end result of this legal
- 16:09Speaker 1: case is. I don't think Taylor likes the fact she's
- 16:13Speaker 1: been dragged into this and there's text messages now, and
- 16:16Speaker 1: these two are good people. I do believe that Taylor
- 16:19Speaker 1: is a really good person. She could have said one
- 16:21Speaker 1: sloppy thing she could have care it. We text each
- 16:23Speaker 1: other all the time and gosh, just one mean thing
- 16:26Speaker 1: and everyone's gonna read it. I agree with you. Naughty
- 16:28Speaker 1: is hey, don't forget to vote on today's bowl. Go
- 16:30Speaker 1: to a Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob. Her facebook
- 16:33Speaker 1: page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back
- 16:37Speaker 1: on Monday to hear your results. And now it's time
- 16:40Speaker 1: for Annies of the.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Yes, well, this is a nice, little sweet story from
- 16:46Speaker 2: Gwyneth Paltrow. Of course, now she's giving up control, starting
- 16:51Speaker 2: with her diet. How many people know that Gwyneth is
- 16:53Speaker 2: known as a bit of a control It's just a
- 16:56Speaker 2: little tiny bit, but they say her recent decision to
- 16:58Speaker 2: ditch the ultrary strict of paleo diet lifestyle is something
- 17:03Speaker 2: that she's now looking to do, and it's more about
- 17:05Speaker 2: food than you know, just letting wait me say wait.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Sources close to Gwyneth Paltrow say her recent decision to
- 17:12Speaker 2: ditch the ultra restrictive paleo lifestyle is about more than food.
- 17:16Speaker 2: It's about finally letting go, Yeah, letting go, letting go
- 17:20Speaker 2: of some of that control. So she spent most of
- 17:22Speaker 2: her adult life trying to control every variable of everything,
- 17:24Speaker 2: like her food, her body, her image, even her breath.
- 17:27Speaker 2: One friend tells hashtag shooter scoop. But you know, something
- 17:30Speaker 2: that's finally shifted, and she's just not interested in being
- 17:34Speaker 2: perfect anymore. And that shift is playing out in very
- 17:37Speaker 2: subtle but real ways, from easing up on the no
- 17:39Speaker 2: more bread, no more pasta rules and all that. You
- 17:41Speaker 2: know what, I think there's a point when you get
- 17:43Speaker 2: older and you're like, I'm going to have that pasta,
- 17:45Speaker 2: I'm going to have that cake. I'm not here for
- 17:47Speaker 2: much longer, maybe on this planet. Let me have the cake.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Have the cake, Gwen. You've got nothing to prove to anybody.
- 17:55Speaker 1: And nicest of the day. And I noticed the day
- 17:58Speaker 1: naughty John Mulvaane. He is getting slammed for a joke
- 18:01Speaker 1: about Gene Hackman's death. So John was joking that how
- 18:05Speaker 1: can we possibly know what happened to dinosaurs when we
- 18:08Speaker 1: don't even know what happened to Gene Hackman, who died
- 18:11Speaker 1: just a few weeks ago. So he's making fun how
- 18:14Speaker 1: many loose ends there are around this death. We still
- 18:16Speaker 1: don't know a lot about it. I think, Johnny, I
- 18:19Speaker 1: know John means this to be funny. He's a good guy.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I've met him several times, but it does seem just
- 18:24Speaker 1: a little bit too soon. What do you think, Hey,
- 18:28Speaker 1: let's end with a moment, rob Don't be embarrassed by
- 18:32Speaker 1: where you are right now. Don't let shame keep you
- 18:35Speaker 1: stuck your current situation. It's not your final destination. So
- 18:39Speaker 1: if you do not like where you are right now,
- 18:41Speaker 1: that's fine. You're on a journey. You are on a
- 18:45Speaker 1: journey to something new. You're not behind, you're not broken,
- 18:49Speaker 1: You're just in progress.
- 18:51Speaker 2: So instead of.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Hiding, make a plan. This is your moment to build,
- 18:55Speaker 1: not to pretend. Keep going, and I promise you you
- 18:58Speaker 1: will make it. When you do, you'll be proud that
- 19:02Speaker 1: you never gave in. Stop being embarrassed. If you can't
- 19:07Speaker 1: afford a fancy pair of shoes, you can't afford a
- 19:10Speaker 1: fancy dinner, you can't afford to go out tonight for
- 19:13Speaker 1: drinks with your friends, it's not embarrassing. This is not
- 19:16Speaker 1: your end. This is part of your process. Hey, that
- 19:21Speaker 1: is it for this week. Thank you so much for listening.
