- 0:10Speaker 1: For sure. It's time nice and all. Welcome to me,
- 0:16Speaker 1: naughty but nice, sham your house to ro shooter. It's
- 0:18Speaker 1: Monday morning. Garrett is off today. He's on a two
- 0:22Speaker 1: week vacation. Isn't that lovely? Good for Garrett? I think
- 0:25Speaker 1: it's in Mexico. If you're listening, Hello, Hello, Hello, Garrett.
- 0:28Speaker 1: We miss you, but we have a fantastic show today.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Noughty's you're the co host. Let's jump right in. What
- 0:35Speaker 1: time is it? My friends? It is tea time, big
- 0:38Speaker 1: story at the top of the show. So Anne Burrell's
- 0:40Speaker 1: tragic death has taken a strange turn, and people are
- 0:44Speaker 1: now pointing go at her husband's odd behavior, bizarre behavior
- 0:49Speaker 1: at the funeral. He didn't wear black, he didn't cry,
- 0:53Speaker 1: he kept his distance, and my friends are asking what
- 0:57Speaker 1: really happened to the beloved chef. So the culinary world
- 1:01Speaker 1: turned out in force to honor the Food Network star
- 1:04Speaker 1: and Morell at a private wake on the Upper East Side,
- 1:09Speaker 1: but all eyes were on her husband, Stuart Craxton, and
- 1:13Speaker 1: not for the right reasons. Sources tell me that his
- 1:16Speaker 1: behavior at the Friday afternoon service was a little off
- 1:21Speaker 1: putting to some. Emotionally vacant that friends close to Anne
- 1:27Speaker 1: are now very very concerned. Now let's be clear here,
- 1:32Speaker 1: people mourn in very different ways. So just because you
- 1:36Speaker 1: didn't wear head to toe black, just because you didn't
- 1:39Speaker 1: get emotional, just because your behavior was not what people
- 1:44Speaker 1: assumed it should be, that doesn't mean anything. I have
- 1:49Speaker 1: been to so many funerals, to so many of these events,
- 1:52Speaker 1: and the behavior you expect isn't always the case. We
- 1:56Speaker 1: deal with grief in very very different ways. There was
- 2:00Speaker 1: about one hundred mourners. There are lots of people from
- 2:03Speaker 1: the food networker Anne, who was just fifty five, was
- 2:07Speaker 1: found unresponsive in the shower of her Brooklyn home on
- 2:11Speaker 1: Tuesday morning. Allegedly she was surrounded by dozens of unidentified pills.
- 2:18Speaker 1: If you follow me on substack, I do a twice
- 2:21Speaker 1: three times a day, very short newsletter and I had
- 2:25Speaker 1: a very very big story about this. Insiders are telling
- 2:29Speaker 1: me that within that food world, it's like the rock
- 2:31Speaker 1: and roll world, lots and lots of prescription drugs. These
- 2:36Speaker 1: chefs work really long, really intense hours under tons of pressure,
- 2:41Speaker 1: and it's not uncommon for chefs to unwind afterwards with
- 2:45Speaker 1: some wine, a pill or two and so insiders are
- 2:49Speaker 1: saying this is not not surprising, but really really tragic.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I know a lot of people in the food world
- 2:56Speaker 1: are on edge about all this, particularly a lot of
- 3:00Speaker 1: doctors who prescribed these prescription drugs. If you remember, after
- 3:06Speaker 1: Prince Michael Jackson passed away, there was a huge investigation
- 3:11Speaker 1: into what was in their system, the drugs, how they
- 3:14Speaker 1: got them. They have the pill bottles, so they know
- 3:18Speaker 1: who prescribed these pills. We don't know yet if that
- 3:22Speaker 1: was the cause of her death, we do not know.
- 3:25Speaker 1: We do know a nine to one one call indicated
- 3:28Speaker 1: possible cardiac arrest. Now they're going to get to the
- 3:32Speaker 1: bottom of this. So lots and lots of questions about
- 3:35Speaker 1: this tragic, tragic passing. I've got a new story going
- 3:39Speaker 1: up today on my substack, Rob Shooter. Anne never really
- 3:42Speaker 1: felt as if she fit in in the world of television.
- 3:46Speaker 1: The world of TV. I've done many many shows. It's
- 3:49Speaker 1: a pretty shallow world. It's not necessarily about how smart
- 3:52Speaker 1: you are, how good you are at your job. It's
- 3:54Speaker 1: how you look. And it is no coincidence that often
- 3:57Speaker 1: the people who get the big promotion, so the really
- 4:00Speaker 1: pretty ones. I hate to admit it, I've been on
- 4:03Speaker 1: shows where the least talented person was the most commercially attractive,
- 4:08Speaker 1: and she's the one that went on to get a
- 4:10Speaker 1: network gig. And so it is very much about the
- 4:13Speaker 1: way you look. Anne was gorgeous, but she wasn't a
- 4:17Speaker 1: stereotypical beauty. She wasn't that skinny, skinny lady that you
- 4:23Speaker 1: often see on television. She did not look like Megan
- 4:26Speaker 1: Markel or the Deal or No Deal girls. I think
- 4:28Speaker 1: that was her success. I think that's what made Anne
- 4:31Speaker 1: so popular. She was like us. She was really talented.
- 4:35Speaker 1: She was a brilliant chef, but she was a brilliantly
- 4:37Speaker 1: talented chef who looked like us, and that's what made
- 4:40Speaker 1: her so relatable. However, and struggled with that. Friends tell me,
- 4:45Speaker 1: it's really hard to be in this world of all
- 4:48Speaker 1: these very skinny, very pretty model types and you just
- 4:52Speaker 1: didn't ever fit in. And it wasn't about her talent.
- 4:55Speaker 1: It was about her looks, and that was something she
- 4:58Speaker 1: couldn't really do much about. She was never gonna be
- 5:02Speaker 1: a skinny mini, she was never gonna be a super
- 5:06Speaker 1: model figure what we consider to be a supermodel figure,
- 5:10Speaker 1: And I think that was her success. She really reminded
- 5:13Speaker 1: us that people like us can succeed. It doesn't always
- 5:17Speaker 1: have to be the pretty people who come out on top.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I thought she was beautiful. I had drinks with her
- 5:23Speaker 1: several times. I really really liked her, and I thought
- 5:26Speaker 1: she was just gorgeous and that personality. Oh gosh, she
- 5:30Speaker 1: was one of a kai and she literally lit up
- 5:33Speaker 1: a room. Now she's no longer with us. The funeral
- 5:37Speaker 1: was on Friday. Insiders are saying it was a very
- 5:40Speaker 1: bizarre day. Of course it was bizarre. She's fifty five
- 5:43Speaker 1: years old and she's gone, and so that is bizarre.
- 5:46Speaker 1: There's no way around it. How do you act at
- 5:49Speaker 1: a funeral? Recently, a friend of mine, her mother passed away,
- 5:53Speaker 1: and I went to the same funeral home where Anne
- 5:55Speaker 1: was a beautiful place on the Upper East Side, and
- 5:58Speaker 1: I didn't know how to behave I hadn't been to
- 6:01Speaker 1: many funerals. I still haven't. It felt really awkward to me,
- 6:05Speaker 1: and I'm sure I was aunt. I'm not on a
- 6:08Speaker 1: good day. I can't imagine under that sort of pressure.
- 6:11Speaker 1: So let's give the husband some grace here. Let's give
- 6:13Speaker 1: Stuart a little bit of grace. Actually, a friend of
- 6:16Speaker 1: mine used to date him before Anne, a friend of
- 6:18Speaker 1: mine dated him and she said he was a nice guy,
- 6:20Speaker 1: and so obviously here something. He's going to be discovered.
- 6:24Speaker 1: There's going to be an autopsy. We are going to
- 6:26Speaker 1: get to the bottom of it. But I ask everybody
- 6:28Speaker 1: to just give it a little a little moment, a
- 6:31Speaker 1: little moment, and instead of focusing on others, let's focus
- 6:36Speaker 1: on Anne and Hammer's joy and light she brought to
- 6:41Speaker 1: the world, which brings us to our whole question of
- 6:43Speaker 1: the day. Amborell's funeral takes a strange turn, and her
- 6:48Speaker 1: husband's behuss behavior has fueled whispers is he hiding something?
- 6:53Speaker 1: What do you think is he hiding something? Hey, go
- 6:55Speaker 1: vote on our Twitter page. I had any nice rub
- 6:58Speaker 1: Our facebook page is not degussive and Mishua to check
- 7:01Speaker 1: back to mar Rauta he your results. I'll be with
- 7:04Speaker 1: miss d Okay moving along. Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber
- 7:08Speaker 1: have split, and we told you first, so their role
- 7:11Speaker 1: goes to sixuer marriage is over, multiple sources have told Meya.
- 7:17Speaker 1: While the official announcement hasn't dropped yet, insiders say the
- 7:21Speaker 1: couple have been living separately for months and Hailey is
- 7:25Speaker 1: now in New York without wearing her wedding ring, and
- 7:28Speaker 1: it's no coincidence. Sources tell me quote she's done. Haley
- 7:33Speaker 1: has been preparing for this behind the scenes. The ring
- 7:36Speaker 1: came off because the marriage is off. This wasn't a
- 7:40Speaker 1: fashion statement, this was a farewell. So the split comes
- 7:45Speaker 1: after months of escalating signs. Hailey unfollowed Justin on Instagram,
- 7:49Speaker 1: remember that, and then she blamed a gitch, but I
- 7:51Speaker 1: don't think anybody bought it. Fans voiced growing concerns over
- 7:55Speaker 1: Justin's really erratic behavior, and then Hailey omitted in vose
- 8:00Speaker 1: that she was tired of people speculating about her marriage.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Inside this time, she's heartbroken but also a little bit relieved.
- 8:09Speaker 1: And Hailey gave everything she had to the relationship, but
- 8:12Speaker 1: she couldn't save somebody who didn't want to save himself.
- 8:16Speaker 1: That is so important, isn't it. We can't save people
- 8:20Speaker 1: as much as we want to, as much as we
- 8:21Speaker 1: love them, as much as we adore them. You have
- 8:25Speaker 1: to save yourself. And Justin's not there yet. Maybe maybe
- 8:29Speaker 1: he's rock bottom hasn't yet arrived, which is terrifying because
- 8:34Speaker 1: he's not in a good shape at all. The constant videos,
- 8:38Speaker 1: the apparent drug use, all that social media stuff. He's
- 8:43Speaker 1: in a really, really bad place. And ironically, while he's
- 8:47Speaker 1: in such a bad place, she's flying high. She's just
- 8:50Speaker 1: sold her company from alleged billion dollars. She has more
- 8:54Speaker 1: money than he does. In fact, there are stories that
- 8:56Speaker 1: he has money isshoes. He owes his ex manager school
- 9:00Speaker 1: to millions of dollars when he dropped out of that tour,
- 9:03Speaker 1: and so there's a lot going on here and the
- 9:05Speaker 1: power dynamic. Let me get to the real root of this.
- 9:08Speaker 1: It's the power dynamic. Therapists always say relationships go wrong
- 9:12Speaker 1: when the rules change, when suddenly the rich one is
- 9:15Speaker 1: no longer the rich one, when suddenly the good looking
- 9:18Speaker 1: one is no longer the good looking one. Well, that
- 9:20Speaker 1: has happened here, not with looks, but with money. Hailey
- 9:23Speaker 1: was successful, but she did not have justin Bieber money.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Now she does, In fact, she has more. She's the
- 9:28Speaker 1: powerhouse in that relationship. And I think this change of dynamics,
- 9:32Speaker 1: this change of money of finances, has just blown up
- 9:36Speaker 1: a marriage that was probably already on its last legs,
- 9:39Speaker 1: was in trouble. And then this deal, which you would
- 9:42Speaker 1: think good grief. Can you imagine if your partner sold
- 9:44Speaker 1: a company for a billion dollars, we would be celebrating.
- 9:48Speaker 1: We would be out with all our friends. I'd pay
- 9:50Speaker 1: off all my friends, my mom and dad's mortgages. It
- 9:52Speaker 1: would be a time of total joy. Not the case here.
- 9:56Speaker 1: It's like when people win the lottery and their lives
- 9:58Speaker 1: fall apart. Honestly, money it sounds terrific when you don't
- 10:02Speaker 1: have any and I've been there. I was in Edinburgh,
- 10:05Speaker 1: Scotland as a student. I had no money. It was
- 10:08Speaker 1: the happiest time of my life. And so don't think
- 10:11Speaker 1: money equals happiness. In fact, often when the money game changes,
- 10:16Speaker 1: so does the relationship. And I think that's what's going
- 10:18Speaker 1: on here. They were definitely not in a good place.
- 10:21Speaker 1: This relationship was trouble, trouble, trouble. But now that Haley
- 10:25Speaker 1: has a billion dollars, it has brought her freedom, it
- 10:29Speaker 1: has brought her decisions. And insiders tell me this marriage
- 10:34Speaker 1: is through taking off your wedding ring. You know you've
- 10:36Speaker 1: been photographed. You know what it's like to be followed
- 10:38Speaker 1: around by paparazzi. That's their lives. They're too smart for this.
- 10:42Speaker 1: These two have been celebrities for too long. They are young,
- 10:44Speaker 1: they are smart, they are socially media savvy, and so
- 10:48Speaker 1: to take off her wedding ring while there's all these
- 10:51Speaker 1: rumors speculation out there, it's a sign. It's a real,
- 10:54Speaker 1: real sign. Okay, moving along, Broadway stars say thanks, but
- 10:58Speaker 1: no thanks to Jennifer anders an ouch. Let me explain. So,
- 11:02Speaker 1: Jennifer wants to make a Broadway debut, but the stage
- 11:04Speaker 1: community isn't exactly rolling out the red carpet. So after
- 11:08Speaker 1: the friend's icon told People magazine that starring in a
- 11:12Speaker 1: Broadway play is on her bucket list, several Broadway insiders
- 11:16Speaker 1: scoffed at the idea, and not so quietly, one Tony
- 11:19Speaker 1: nominated actor told me, sure, she's going to sell tickets,
- 11:23Speaker 1: but Broadway isn't a tourist attraction. It's an art form.
- 11:26Speaker 1: This isn't a Netflix sect. This is the big leagues, now, Jennifer,
- 11:30Speaker 1: Let's be clear here. She did dabble in off Broadway,
- 11:33Speaker 1: and famously she did attend the prestigious LaGuardia High School,
- 11:38Speaker 1: really great theater. Veterans all went there. It's a great,
- 11:41Speaker 1: great school. But they say that's not enough for her
- 11:44Speaker 1: to earn a stripes on the Great White Way. Quote,
- 11:48Speaker 1: there are actors who have spent their entire lives training,
- 11:51Speaker 1: waiting for a shot. Meanwhile, here comes Jennifer with her
- 11:54Speaker 1: sitcom resume and a bucket list police. Oh this sounds
- 11:58Speaker 1: like a little bit of meanness, he doesn't. It sounds
- 12:00Speaker 1: like me. Girls, Jennifer is a superstar, and you cannot
- 12:03Speaker 1: be angry at somebody for being really successful. Yes, she
- 12:06Speaker 1: might not be doing Shakespeare Hamlet, she might not be
- 12:09Speaker 1: doing the great plays, but Friends was very, very successful,
- 12:13Speaker 1: and a lot of actors would absolutely love to have
- 12:16Speaker 1: a role like that. There's this thing between TV and
- 12:20Speaker 1: movie stars and also Broadway stars and everybody else. I've
- 12:24Speaker 1: seen it. Bruce has worked on Broadway a lot, and
- 12:27Speaker 1: there definitely is a little bit of elitism. They think
- 12:30Speaker 1: that they're the real deal, and often they are. What
- 12:32Speaker 1: these Broadways actors and actresses can do is unbelievable. It's
- 12:36Speaker 1: a different skill from being on a movie set or
- 12:39Speaker 1: being on a TV set. Being a Broadway star or
- 12:42Speaker 1: it is work eight shows a week, no second takes,
- 12:46Speaker 1: it's all live. It's a real, real thing, and I
- 12:50Speaker 1: admire that somebody like Jen wants to try it. Broadway
- 12:54Speaker 1: is struggling. The big hits, the lion Kings, the Wickeds,
- 12:58Speaker 1: they'll always be okay. The new plays, the new musicals.
- 13:03Speaker 1: They need star power to sell tickets just to start.
- 13:07Speaker 1: It's very hard to start with an original play and
- 13:10Speaker 1: original musical that's not based on a movie or a novel.
- 13:13Speaker 1: And so Jennifer could really use use her skills, her talent,
- 13:17Speaker 1: her fame to help sell that, and so I encourage it.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I think she's great. I think she's underestimated as an actress.
- 13:24Speaker 1: It's easy to poop poop people on television as they're
- 13:27Speaker 1: not movie stars, or well they're not that talented, or
- 13:30Speaker 1: no they are. She really studied her craft. She's a
- 13:33Speaker 1: great actress. Friends, was a great show. And let's not
- 13:36Speaker 1: be snobs about this. Jen If you want to come
- 13:38Speaker 1: to Broadway, I say, welcome, welcome, welcome. Okay, Moving along.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Kanye West two, we don't really cover on the show anymore.
- 13:45Speaker 1: He's too disgusting. But he's obsessed with the Diddy trial. Now,
- 13:48Speaker 1: this Diddy trial, my goodness, we have been covering that.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I used to work with him. Oh thank you everybody.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I wrote a column for the Hollywood Reporter about my
- 13:58Speaker 1: time working with Diddy. So so everybody that has responded
- 14:01Speaker 1: to that, thank you very very much. So Kanye West
- 14:05Speaker 1: has a new fixation. And it's not a fashion line
- 14:08Speaker 1: or an album drop or even his wife Bianca. No,
- 14:11Speaker 1: it's not her latest look. It's Diddy's federal trial. Sources
- 14:15Speaker 1: tell me Kanye cannot stop talking about Diddy. He shows
- 14:19Speaker 1: up at court like it's a front row seat at
- 14:21Speaker 1: Paris Fashion Week. It's dark, but there's a sick part
- 14:25Speaker 1: of him that's actually jealous of all the attention that
- 14:29Speaker 1: Diddy is getting. Ye made headlines just last week when
- 14:33Speaker 1: he turned up at the court and I'm told he
- 14:36Speaker 1: will be back inside to say this is a very,
- 14:39Speaker 1: very calculated bit to insert himself into the drama. Kanye
- 14:45Speaker 1: wants the spotlight back. He's sitting in the courtroom stewing.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Diddy's scandal has dominated the headlines and Kanye can't bear
- 14:54Speaker 1: playing second fiddle. Expects something big, a bombshell interview track,
- 15:01Speaker 1: maybe even another marriage announcement. This is classic Kanye. When
- 15:06Speaker 1: the attention slips, he explodes, Oh I'm so sick of him. Okay,
- 15:14Speaker 1: we're gonna take a quick break and we will be
- 15:17Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but naisham your
- 15:20Speaker 1: hand stump shooter. Hey, let's get to the polls that
- 15:23Speaker 1: that are. Last show we talked about tell us if
- 15:25Speaker 1: stunned as her private text will be exposed. A judge
- 15:29Speaker 1: rule that yes, her texts that Blake Lively could be
- 15:33Speaker 1: part of this legal case. Will she ever forgive Blake?
- 15:38Speaker 1: Let's have a look. Seventy five cent said, no, it's over.
- 15:41Speaker 1: It's got really really ugly here, and this this legal action,
- 15:46Speaker 1: it's something that could be very embarrassing. Taylor is one
- 15:49Speaker 1: of the most famous people in the world, but she
- 15:51Speaker 1: does have a private side about her and I really
- 15:54Speaker 1: respect her for that. Now all of this is gonna
- 15:57Speaker 1: be exposed. And she's done nothing wrong. She's just been
- 16:00Speaker 1: talking with a friend, texted a friend. It doesn't matter
- 16:03Speaker 1: what she says. She can say whatever she wants. This
- 16:05Speaker 1: is her relationship with her friend. These are private texts,
- 16:08Speaker 1: and I think it's just so sad that we've got
- 16:11Speaker 1: to this point. Blake, Oh, it's I don't know, I
- 16:16Speaker 1: get it. You wanna fight here, you wanna win this,
- 16:19Speaker 1: but in the process you're gonna lose one of the
- 16:21Speaker 1: best friends you ever had. Hey, don't forget to vote
- 16:25Speaker 1: on today's pole. Get a at Twitter page at naughteen
- 16:27Speaker 1: night Rob. Her facebook page is notaty gossip and be
- 16:30Speaker 1: sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. And
- 16:33Speaker 1: now it's time for her nicest of the day or
- 16:37Speaker 1: big breaking news. So Beyonce is going full rock and
- 16:39Speaker 1: roll on her next album to honor black legends who
- 16:43Speaker 1: have never got their due. So after conquering the country
- 16:46Speaker 1: music world with her Grammy winning album Cowboy Canter, Queen
- 16:51Speaker 1: Bay is trading in her cowboy hat for a leather
- 16:54Speaker 1: jacket and an electric guitar. Let me explain. Sources tell
- 16:58Speaker 1: me exclusively that her next this album will be a
- 17:01Speaker 1: four throttle rock and roll album. It's gonna be her
- 17:05Speaker 1: most bold and most unapologetic era yet. So to say quote,
- 17:10Speaker 1: she's diving headfirst into rock and roll. Not rock pop,
- 17:14Speaker 1: not pop rock, not stop rock, I'll get it right,
- 17:17Speaker 1: but real gritty, guitar driven soul music. This is Beyonce
- 17:22Speaker 1: shining a spotlight on the black roots of rock and roll. Hey,
- 17:28Speaker 1: I cannot wait. If anybody can do this, it's Beyonce.
- 17:31Speaker 1: She's dabbled in everything R and B, hip hop, gospel country.
- 17:36Speaker 1: So it's no surprise that the thirty two time Grammy
- 17:39Speaker 1: winner is ready to dominate in yet another genre. And
- 17:44Speaker 1: nicest of the day, and now I'm naughty is the day? Naughty, naughty,
- 17:48Speaker 1: naughty naughty. And notice that it's a civil war that
- 17:51Speaker 1: is brewing over Arnold's Schwarzenegger's comments about immigrants within the
- 17:56Speaker 1: Kennedy family. So Arnold is under fire after remarks suggesting
- 18:01Speaker 1: that immigrants should act like quote guests in America, and
- 18:06Speaker 1: now the Kennedy family is focusing backlash for saying nothing.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Sources tell me quote Maria Maria Shriver, his ex wife
- 18:14Speaker 1: is very media savvey. She knows this is blowing up,
- 18:17Speaker 1: and yet she has said nothing. People inside the family
- 18:19Speaker 1: are battled. Why hasn't she spoken up? And what about
- 18:22Speaker 1: his son Patrick? Patrick Schwarzenegger has been all over the
- 18:25Speaker 1: press because of his breakout role in White Lotus, and
- 18:28Speaker 1: he has built a brand on inclusivity and activism. Yet
- 18:32Speaker 1: he's silent about his dad's controversial comments. I'm not saying
- 18:37Speaker 1: kids family members are responsible for comments that their parents,
- 18:41Speaker 1: that their relatives make. That is not what I'm saying
- 18:44Speaker 1: at all. But when somebody you're related to says something
- 18:47Speaker 1: that many people find out rageous, is it your responsibility
- 18:51Speaker 1: to speak up. The Kennedy family, a very public family
- 18:54Speaker 1: obviously known for politics, have been pretty silent about this,
- 18:59Speaker 1: and I'm inside the family. There's a lot of tension everybody.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Everybody doesn't really know what to say. Not many people
