- 0:00Speaker 1: Well hello, yeah, what, Oh, it's time for that innovative
- 0:05Speaker 1: radio feature that we started so many years ago, where
- 0:10Speaker 1: we encourage listeners to call the radio station and speak
- 0:14Speaker 1: to us live on the air about.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Whatever they want, questions, comments, criticisms, or jokes.
- 0:22Speaker 1: We sort of put our asses on the line with this. Yeah.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Other radio stations they fake these calls.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Carefully curate any kind of live call that they take. Hello, yeah,
- 0:34Speaker 1: what would you like to air your grievances? You may
- 0:39Speaker 1: by doing that, you or you can promote something if
- 0:43Speaker 1: you'd like.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Oh yeah, a lot of people take advantage of it
- 0:46Speaker 3: that way.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Cookie recipes, they're welcome. Cookie recipe, sure, yeah, why not simple?
- 0:54Speaker 1: Foreign only for ingredients though, any recipe you want to get,
- 0:58Speaker 1: we limit it to for ingredients because it just takes
- 1:00Speaker 1: too long otherwise.
- 1:02Speaker 2: So it's like a sugar cookie.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Or let's say a four ingredient recipe of anything. It's fun. Yeah,
- 1:09Speaker 1: what jokes? You want to tell us? A joke? You
- 1:13Speaker 1: want to yell at us about something, please feel free
- 1:15Speaker 1: to do that. We'll take it.
- 1:16Speaker 2: We can take it.
- 1:17Speaker 1: It's eight seven seven, we might yell back. But anything
- 1:20Speaker 1: you want, come on, you can do it. I know
- 1:23Speaker 1: you can do it. That that cake, that burnt almond
- 1:28Speaker 1: torte is so rich.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Who made that?
- 1:30Speaker 1: My youngest offspring. I don't know if she wants her
- 1:37Speaker 1: name on. I don't know if they want their name
- 1:38Speaker 1: on the radio?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Is it? Is it a Prantles knock off? Is that
- 1:43Speaker 2: what it is?
- 1:44Speaker 1: Yeah? It's and it and it pretty much tastes exactly
- 1:48Speaker 1: like the Brantle's case.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I mean I I applaud them for making that because
- 1:51Speaker 2: it looks like a complicated.
- 1:53Speaker 1: It's difficult, takes a while to do.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Well.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Rebecca ordered the Tom Cruise Coconut cake, Rebecca Frost, Yes, yeah,
- 2:01Speaker 3: for her birthday and she quite liked it.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Has she had the Prantles she hasn't had the past.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Well, I'm thinking about ordering the Prantiles and sending it
- 2:09Speaker 3: to her, But then I think about how much.
- 2:12Speaker 1: The Brantles cost. So that's that's why we don't order.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I like Rebecca a lot, you know.
- 2:17Speaker 2: So the Brantles burnt almond toorte is kind of the
- 2:22Speaker 2: official cake of the Radio from Hell Show because our
- 2:25Speaker 2: friend Mauricio Mauricio Pia sent us from from Pittsburgh sent
- 2:31Speaker 2: one to us years ago, and we've continued to consume.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Yeah, only one, Yeah, only one, Mauricio. Remember that.
- 2:40Speaker 2: And if people don't know, Tom Cruise has this is
- 2:42Speaker 2: famous for sending this coconut cake to people I like.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I like a coconut cake. And my my youngest also
- 2:50Speaker 1: has made me in the past coconut cake, which is
- 2:52Speaker 1: really good.
- 2:53Speaker 3: The Tom Cruise coconut cake's a good cake, but it's
- 2:56Speaker 3: the Prantles is superior.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Like if I were a Tom Cruise level person and
- 3:02Speaker 2: I had a list of people that I my special
- 3:05Speaker 2: friends that I sent a cake to every year, it
- 3:07Speaker 2: would it would be the Brantles.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Hold on for a second.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Let's see good morning, lords and ladies. I would like
- 3:12Speaker 3: to see go my fellow employees. They use the restroom
- 3:17Speaker 3: much like a toddler child. Like they're throwing the water
- 3:20Speaker 3: all over the place, the counter of the mirror.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Oh, it's all over A thing that must go.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, well send it to Musco. That's tomorrow.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Here's a recipe text recipe. One large egg, one cup sugar,
- 3:33Speaker 1: one cup peanut butter. Mix portion and bake at three
- 3:38Speaker 1: point fifty four eight to ten minutes.
- 3:39Speaker 2: That's easy.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Yeah, and I bet it tastes just fine.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Somebody says, prantles is what I give people I love
- 3:46Speaker 2: because of you?
- 3:47Speaker 3: All all right?
- 3:48Speaker 1: Do you love me? Send me a Brandle's cake?
- 3:50Speaker 5: Hello?
- 3:51Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 3:51Speaker 1: What? All right?
- 3:52Speaker 3: Well let's dive in, shall we?
- 3:54Speaker 1: Yes, Lindsey is here?
- 3:56Speaker 6: Hello?
- 3:56Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 3:56Speaker 1: What lindsay? Good morning? Where are you calling from.
- 4:01Speaker 7: Some lake somewhere? I don't know. I'm stuck between a
- 4:08Speaker 7: rock and a hard place at work, and it's a
- 4:11Speaker 7: situation where people are afraid to say something, but it
- 4:14Speaker 7: keeps continuing to be a repetitive thing. So I'm not asking,
- 4:21Speaker 7: like what to do, but.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Can you be at can you be a little more
- 4:25Speaker 1: specific as to what this thing is? Or is that?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Would that give something away?
- 4:31Speaker 7: Well, there's a specific reason that there's so much turnover,
- 4:36Speaker 7: and it just has to do with specific person. Yeah, anyways,
- 4:43Speaker 7: and this.
- 4:44Speaker 1: This person is what doesn't smell good?
- 4:47Speaker 6: Is mean?
- 4:48Speaker 1: Is mean?
- 4:50Speaker 2: Uh?
- 4:51Speaker 4: Yes?
- 4:52Speaker 3: Mean?
- 4:52Speaker 1: And incompetent?
- 4:55Speaker 7: Uh not that?
- 4:56Speaker 1: But this person is mean. Is this person your boss
- 5:00Speaker 1: a boss?
- 5:02Speaker 4: Yes?
- 5:03Speaker 1: Is there a boss above this person?
- 5:07Speaker 2: There is?
- 5:07Speaker 7: And I've kind of gone back and forth on what
- 5:09Speaker 7: I'm gonna do.
- 5:10Speaker 2: But.
- 5:12Speaker 7: I just need some cheering up because I kind of
- 5:14Speaker 7: feel like I'm stuck right now, don't you.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Can't you can't. You gotta, Lindsay, you can't go continue
- 5:21Speaker 1: to live like that. You either have to just leave
- 5:26Speaker 1: or suck it up, or go to that go to
- 5:29Speaker 1: the boss above this person and say, look, this is
- 5:32Speaker 1: the situation. I'm lindsay, I'm a good employee. Well you
- 5:36Speaker 1: think you know why we're losing employees because of this
- 5:38Speaker 1: person and that, and here's why.
- 5:41Speaker 7: Right, Okay, you can do it, We'll have I can
- 5:45Speaker 7: stand up for the right.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Yes, yes, it's hard to do it is it's really
- 5:51Speaker 1: hard or you know, but I would I wouldn't fault
- 5:54Speaker 1: you for just saying no, I can't do it. I'm
- 5:56Speaker 1: just gonna leave.
- 5:58Speaker 6: Yeah, there's that's a possibility as well.
- 6:00Speaker 7: So you'll I just wanted to talk to you guys.
- 6:04Speaker 7: You guys cheer me up every day.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Good. Well, you'll be fine, you'll be take.
- 6:10Speaker 7: Care whatever happens. Thank you.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Person.
- 6:15Speaker 3: It's like I'm gonna have to fire Lindsay. I don't
- 6:19Speaker 3: need her talking about me on the radio.
- 6:22Speaker 1: That's right, all right, Cameron, what hey, Cameron, what's up? Hey?
- 6:28Speaker 8: Good morning.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Hey.
- 6:31Speaker 8: A while ago, you did an X Bowl on how
- 6:34Speaker 8: to insult somebody without swearing. Okay, this is one my
- 6:38Speaker 8: dad always said. At least I don't suck the maggots
- 6:42Speaker 8: out of a dead sheep's nostrils.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Well, shouldn't be something you should.
- 6:48Speaker 1: At least I don't suck. At least I don't suck
- 6:51Speaker 1: the maggots out of a dead.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Cameron, Cameron?
- 6:54Speaker 5: Are you?
- 6:55Speaker 3: Are you in therapy?
- 6:58Speaker 8: I should be?
- 6:59Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Where in God's name did he cream that up?
- 7:06Speaker 8: Something that his dad told him he was an old sheepher.
- 7:11Speaker 1: All right, thanks, Cameron, have a good one. Eight seven
- 7:15Speaker 1: seven six two nine six nine six is the number.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I don't know why.
- 7:20Speaker 3: You know, shepherds have a reputation of being, you know,
- 7:22Speaker 3: wise and all. They really don't deserve.
- 7:25Speaker 1: It wise, old sheepherder. Ah Sarah, Hell yeah what Sarah?
- 7:29Speaker 1: Good morning, Sarah, Good morning.
- 7:33Speaker 7: I want to say it's a beautiful day.

- 7:39Speaker 7: Every day when I come to work, I park and
- 7:41Speaker 7: I'm walking from my car to the work building and I.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Say, good morning, beautiful mountains.
- 7:46Speaker 2: We are very lucky to live so close to such
- 7:50Speaker 2: such thing.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Yes, good, it is a lovely place to live. It's
- 7:54Speaker 1: I lived I've lived elsewhere in the country, and there
- 7:58Speaker 1: there are things that there are other places that have
- 8:00Speaker 1: their charms, but nothing like this.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Like I went to Denver not that long ago, and
- 8:05Speaker 2: you think of Denver as being a similar city to
- 8:07Speaker 2: Salt Lake. It's not. They're proud of their mountains. And
- 8:11Speaker 2: I said, where are they?
- 8:12Speaker 1: About an hour about an hour and a half away.
- 8:16Speaker 4: And.
- 8:18Speaker 1: We are very Yes, we are. Thank you. All right,

- 8:58Speaker 6: Still looking? Wait? You know I put in like twenty
- 9:02Speaker 6: nine years and kind of this is what I get.
- 9:04Speaker 6: They just kind of ship you.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Off twenty nine years at the same place and then now.
- 9:09Speaker 6: Twenty nine years in the sheet metal Union.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Oh okay, why did they lay you off? As just
- 9:15Speaker 1: business slowed down or.
- 9:17Speaker 6: It had been slowed yes, for you know, before Christmas
- 9:21Speaker 6: it slowed down and now you know, the new guy
- 9:25Speaker 6: got in and they had to reconfigure some money they
- 9:29Speaker 6: were trying to put forward to some computer chip companies.
- 9:34Speaker 6: I believe that got put on hold, and now there's
- 9:38Speaker 6: like two hundred of us on the bench out of work.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Well all right under that well hanging there.
- 9:45Speaker 6: I mean the beginning of the year, I got diagnosed
- 9:47Speaker 6: with a fatty liver. So I've been on a diet
- 9:49Speaker 6: ever since. I'm down forty pounds. That's what I'm doing
- 9:52Speaker 6: right now, is prepping food forty pounds.
- 9:55Speaker 1: That's good. Well, die so something you're doing something right now?
- 10:00Speaker 6: Yeah, it's great. Well, and I think that's why I
- 10:02Speaker 6: just have a good attitude. I don't know. Well, yeah,
- 10:07Speaker 6: you guys said nobody was calling, so I figured I
- 10:11Speaker 6: very last.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Thanks, thanks, thanks for your guys.
- 10:15Speaker 6: The show. I listen every day. Geek Show says hey, hey, ye, thank.

- 10:32Speaker 3: Thank you everyone.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah, what what what do you want to do here, Dirk.
- 10:46Speaker 5: Uh I want to congratulate my daughter t Raine. She
- 10:49Speaker 5: just graduated to be a registered nurse, to her last
- 10:54Speaker 5: day working at the clinic, and a couple of her
- 10:58Speaker 5: and her girl friends on Friday are traveling back east
- 11:04Speaker 5: to hang out kind of in a beach town for
- 11:06Speaker 5: a couple of months and before they get, you know,
- 11:10Speaker 5: get a full time job.
- 11:14Speaker 1: What what beach time is she going to?
- 11:19Speaker 5: It's going North Carolina.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Oh, the Outer Banks. That's yeah, that's beautiful out there.
- 11:25Speaker 5: That's the going there. They want to go.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Well, congratulations, congratulations, see you later. Michael. Oh, Michael, Michael, Michael.
- 11:40Speaker 1: What's up.
- 11:42Speaker 4: By this? Michael? I just want to talk about my
- 11:45Speaker 4: donation at the Red Cross in Leyton. Okay, they have
- 11:54Speaker 4: met it. They have a new device or new technology
- 11:57Speaker 4: at the Red Cross. When you give your blood donation,
- 12:00Speaker 4: they no longer have to prick your finger. Uh, there's
- 12:05Speaker 4: a new way to test your hemoglobin. So what they
- 12:09Speaker 4: do is they clip a device to your thumb and
- 12:11Speaker 4: it pulses for about a minute and and no more
- 12:16Speaker 4: finger pricks. And the medical assistants there just love the
- 12:20Speaker 4: next new technology.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that sounds great. Excellent. Well thanks for that information,
- 12:25Speaker 1: all right, see you later than you what. All right,
