- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice. Hello, welcome to Norty Burden Night Show. I'm your host,
- 0:18Speaker 1: Rob Shooter. It is Thursday. Normally a dear friend, Mark
- 0:21Speaker 1: Lupo joins us, but not today. It's just me and
- 0:24Speaker 1: the noughties. We're all in this together. We have a
- 0:27Speaker 1: ton of gossip, my friends. Let's jump right into the show.
- 0:31Speaker 1: What time is it, everybody? It is tea time are
- 0:36Speaker 1: I can hear you all singing along wherever you are.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Brittney Spears's latest quarter appearance in
- 0:45Speaker 1: her conservaturship case. So Brittany has taken the next step
- 0:50Speaker 1: in her legal battle to end her controversial, very controversial conservatorship.
- 0:57Speaker 1: That revd up yesterday afternoons, So three weeks after her
- 1:02Speaker 1: very dramatic comments in Chord condemning her father as the
- 1:07Speaker 1: conservator of her life for the past thirteen years. Get
- 1:12Speaker 1: your head around that thirteen years, a judge convened a
- 1:16Speaker 1: hearing to deal basically with the aftermath. So Brittany's comments
- 1:22Speaker 1: marked the first time she's ever spoken out publicly about
- 1:25Speaker 1: ending her conservatorship. She did this just just three weeks ago.
- 1:30Speaker 1: It's largely controlled by her father, Jamie Spears. Yesterday they
- 1:35Speaker 1: got together to figure out how they could move forward. Inside,
- 1:40Speaker 1: I say Brittany's new lawyer was involved. Brittany wants to
- 1:44Speaker 1: end the conservatorship, and so yesterday was arguing about whether
- 1:48Speaker 1: or not she has the right to a lawyer of
- 1:52Speaker 1: her own choice. It seems so basic, and it seems
- 1:56Speaker 1: such an obvious yes that I think a lot of
- 1:59Speaker 1: us are wondering why are we even talking about this?
- 2:03Speaker 1: But that's what happened yesterday. Brittany has signed legal documents
- 2:08Speaker 1: stating her desire to hire mega lawyer Matthew rose Guard.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Now if that name sounds familiar, that's because he's a
- 2:17Speaker 1: huge deal in l A. He has some really fancy clients,
- 2:22Speaker 1: Ben Affleck, Sean Pen. So she wants Matthew to represent
- 2:27Speaker 1: her to boot her dad, Jamie Spears from the conservate
- 2:31Speaker 1: tour ship. This is the first step in ultimately ending
- 2:36Speaker 1: the conservatourship all together. But get this, here's the catch
- 2:41Speaker 1: twenty two. Brittany cannot sign a contract without the approval
- 2:47Speaker 1: of you guessed it, her conservator, her dad, the man
- 2:50Speaker 1: she wants to get away from. So Brittany's new lawyer
- 2:54Speaker 1: is arguing that Brittany has a constitutional right to pick
- 2:58Speaker 1: her own lawyer, and I would imagine it would be
- 3:01Speaker 1: very hard pressed for a judge to dispute this. She
- 3:06Speaker 1: should get a lawyer to represent her interests, so her
- 3:10Speaker 1: new lawyer is gonna argue it's actually absurd for Jamie
- 3:13Speaker 1: the Dad to have the power to disapprove of a
- 3:16Speaker 1: Britney's choice, because the very purpose of representing her is
- 3:21Speaker 1: to get rid of him. Which brings us to our
- 3:24Speaker 1: pole question of the day. Brittany is continuing her legal
- 3:27Speaker 1: battle to end her conservatorship. Do you think she will
- 3:32Speaker 1: ever win? Do you think she will win? Hey? Go
- 3:35Speaker 1: vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob facebook
- 3:40Speaker 1: page is Naughty Gossip. You can leave a comment there
- 3:43Speaker 1: and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 3:48Speaker 1: So breaking news, Jerry O'Connell is replacing Sharon Osborne on
- 3:54Speaker 1: The Talk. It was confirmed yesterday that Jerry O'Connell is
- 3:58Speaker 1: now the permanent co host on The Talk, more than
- 4:01Speaker 1: three months after Sharon left the show in controversy. He
- 4:05Speaker 1: started appearing as a guest host in April. He joined
- 4:09Speaker 1: Cheryl A. Lane, Amanda, Carrie, Anne and Arbor, who's on
- 4:12Speaker 1: leave at the moment. She's due back in October. He
- 4:15Speaker 1: said the following you put out a statement to Naughty
- 4:18Speaker 1: Gossip quote it's really exciting. First of all, I want
- 4:22Speaker 1: to say, you ladies have been so welcoming to me.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I mean I came here as a guest host months ago,
- 4:29Speaker 1: and just from the moment I walked in, You're just
- 4:32Speaker 1: so gracious, your kind, you're fun, and it worked. Congratulations.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I think this is a good idea. I've known Jerry
- 4:39Speaker 1: for a long time. I think he's just fantastic. He's funny,
- 4:43Speaker 1: he's charming. The problem is, though, is that, unfortunately Jerry
- 4:46Speaker 1: does not have a very good track record. Memo, when
- 4:49Speaker 1: he filled in for Wendy and they did a pilot
- 4:52Speaker 1: for his own show, he didn't get picked up. I
- 4:54Speaker 1: think he did a six week test run on the
- 4:57Speaker 1: Fox stations and it didn't do. Are you well in
- 5:00Speaker 1: the ratings? Also, do you remember Jerry got his own
- 5:04Speaker 1: show on Bravo. I think they were looking at Jerry
- 5:07Speaker 1: maybe as a replacement if ever Andy Cohen leaves. It tanked,
- 5:11Speaker 1: nobody watched. I think he's great. Some people think he's
- 5:15Speaker 1: a little bit too much. What do they say to extra?
- 5:18Speaker 1: I think it's great, let's see how he does on
- 5:21Speaker 1: The Talk. The good news about this though, I think
- 5:23Speaker 1: this is good news. The numbers are terrible on the Talk.
- 5:26Speaker 1: It's the lowest rated show in daytime talk show in daytime,
- 5:31Speaker 1: so Jerry, I guess it can only go up. So
- 5:33Speaker 1: fingers crossed talking about their talk, there has been a
- 5:38Speaker 1: new unearthed audio recording obtained by The Daily Mail in
- 5:44Speaker 1: which Elaine is actually heard consoling Sharon Osborne right after
- 5:49Speaker 1: the fight. So remember the fight that Sharon and Cheryl
- 5:52Speaker 1: had on air. Then after the fight, Sharon went to
- 5:55Speaker 1: her dressing room, Elaine came in and consolder hugged her.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Her mike was still on. And now the Daily Mail.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I don't know how they have got the recording. Elaine
- 6:04Speaker 1: can be heard telling Sharon quotes, I know you're not
- 6:08Speaker 1: a racist. She also tells Sharon. Remember, Elaine does not
- 6:12Speaker 1: know she's been recorded, and she never ever thought this
- 6:15Speaker 1: tape would see the light of day, but now it
- 6:17Speaker 1: does thanks to the Daily Mail. So Elaine can be
- 6:20Speaker 1: heard saying to Sharon that she believes the co hosts
- 6:25Speaker 1: were set up, set up by CBS to really punish Sharon.
- 6:31Speaker 1: So she's on record now saying that the incident sparked
- 6:34Speaker 1: an internal investigation, where Elaine reportedly complained of racially insensitive
- 6:41Speaker 1: and a hostile environment at the show. Check out this takes.
- 6:44Speaker 1: It really shows you two sides here of Elaine. But
- 6:47Speaker 1: I get it. We all say things when we don't
- 6:50Speaker 1: think we're being recorded or listened to that we probably
- 6:53Speaker 1: wouldn't say otherwise. At the time, Elaine did not know
- 6:57Speaker 1: Sharon was going to be fired. Sharon was the boss
- 6:59Speaker 1: of the show. Sharon was the queen Bee, and after
- 7:01Speaker 1: upsetting Sharon, you would run to her dressing room. I
- 7:04Speaker 1: get it. Every one of the ladies would run there
- 7:06Speaker 1: and beg forgiveness because Sharon should have would have. We
- 7:09Speaker 1: thought was going to be back the next day. You
- 7:11Speaker 1: don't want to fall out with the boss. So now
- 7:14Speaker 1: it seems a little too faced. I do get it,
- 7:16Speaker 1: but I think it's just survival. Talking about court cases,
- 7:19Speaker 1: guess who was back in court yesterday. Jesse Smollette. He
- 7:24Speaker 1: was back in court in Chicago, where he faces renewed
- 7:28Speaker 1: charges over his alleged two thousand and nineteen hate crime incident.
- 7:33Speaker 1: On the way into the court, he told the press
- 7:36Speaker 1: that he was innocent and he also referred to the
- 7:39Speaker 1: proceedings as quote a dog and pony show. He's not happy.
- 7:45Speaker 1: The actor was charged again with six counts of felony
- 7:50Speaker 1: misconduct for allegedly lying to the police about a racist,
- 7:55Speaker 1: homophobic attack that he claims was perpetrated against him. Now,
- 8:01Speaker 1: the two brothers that allegedly did this, Able and Ola,
- 8:05Speaker 1: came forward soon after the attack and told the police
- 8:08Speaker 1: that the actor, that's right, Jesse, actually paid them three
- 8:12Speaker 1: thousand and five hundred dollars to jump him in effort
- 8:17Speaker 1: to raise his profile because he was unhappy about his
- 8:21Speaker 1: role on Empire. Now, the actor has gone on several
- 8:25Speaker 1: times to say that Able and Ola are not telling
- 8:28Speaker 1: the truth. Initially, these charges were dramped, only to be
- 8:32Speaker 1: renewed after a Cook County grand jury returned with their
- 8:37Speaker 1: six count indictment accusing him of lying. He has pleaded
- 8:44Speaker 1: not guilty. But this is moving forward and it's gonna
- 8:48Speaker 1: get nasty, nasty, nasty. Tyra banng Hello, Tyra. Tyra wants
- 8:54Speaker 1: to be the next Walt Disney. I do love her
- 8:57Speaker 1: just just the ambition of the fact she set easy.
- 9:00Speaker 1: This is mind blowing. I love I wish I had
- 9:03Speaker 1: a tenth of her confidence. So Tyra is out there
- 9:06Speaker 1: plugging her new Ice Scream company, and I know she's
- 9:10Speaker 1: selling ice cream now. And she did an interview with
- 9:12Speaker 1: Variety outside her new Ice Scream story in l A
- 9:16Speaker 1: and she said the following, Walt Disney is one of
- 9:18Speaker 1: my role models. Quote. I look up at what he
- 9:21Speaker 1: did and how it's still relevant to this day. His
- 9:25Speaker 1: legacy lives on the family entertainment, the happiest place on earth.
- 9:32Speaker 1: That's what I want a legacy, Tyra. I love your confidence.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I love it. Smiles is the name of her new
- 9:40Speaker 1: Ice Scream, which is named after her signature modeling expression,
- 9:45Speaker 1: which means smiling with your eyes to get it. Smiling
- 9:50Speaker 1: eyes smiles. It has seven different flavors and also a
- 9:56Speaker 1: cast of animated characters that go along with it. Tyra
- 10:00Speaker 1: went on to say that they're starting to do movies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and cartoons and book proposals, and one day she thinks
- 10:06Speaker 1: all this is gonna come together and she's going to
- 10:09Speaker 1: be here there next Walt Disney. Hey best to look
- 10:13Speaker 1: best of look. Some people are saying it's a little delusional,
- 10:16Speaker 1: but I say, shoot for the stars. Chloe Kardashian has
- 10:21Speaker 1: no interest in getting back with Lamar. So there's been
- 10:23Speaker 1: a lot of buzz about Chloe and Lamar are they
- 10:26Speaker 1: getting back together? What started all this is her ex
- 10:29Speaker 1: husband started to leave some flirty comments on her Instagram.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Insiders are now telling E News quote, Chloe will always
- 10:36Speaker 1: have a sweet spot for Lamar in her heart, but
- 10:39Speaker 1: has no interest of rekindling the romantic relationship. She's completely
- 10:46Speaker 1: moved on from that chapter of her life. He has
- 10:48Speaker 1: tried to reach out to her and get her attention.
- 10:50Speaker 1: He's doing that now, isn't he The reason he's commenting
- 10:53Speaker 1: publicly on her Instagram is to get her attention, our attention.
- 10:57Speaker 1: But insiders say that Chloe is just laughing this off.
- 11:02Speaker 1: So what the former n B A star actually said
- 11:06Speaker 1: is he called her quota hottie h O T T
- 11:09Speaker 1: A hottie on Instagram. Now, her ex, Tristan Thompson he
- 11:14Speaker 1: saw this and he fired back with a pretty menacing message.
- 11:18Speaker 1: All this drama going on Chloe Dashian's Instagram page, it
- 11:24Speaker 1: is wild. Hey, you know what, if you want to
- 11:26Speaker 1: get back together, don't do it so publicly. You've probably
- 11:30Speaker 1: got a phone number, her email. Although I think after
- 11:33Speaker 1: everything you put her through, I'm talking to both of you, fellas.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Now they're cheating the overdose. Oh my goodness. After all this,
- 11:40Speaker 1: I think it's safe to say Chloe has moved on.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Sources tell me that she does indeed have a soft spot.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Sometimes you do, even people you know it, people you've
- 11:52Speaker 1: dated who are not good for you, but you still
- 11:55Speaker 1: love them. However, you don't love them in to get
- 12:00Speaker 1: back together with them. In fact, maybe you love them
- 12:03Speaker 1: so much but you don't get back with them. This
- 12:06Speaker 1: would not work out. Inside as are saying, you know,
- 12:09Speaker 1: no new romance here. You might hear about it. People
- 12:11Speaker 1: are gonna gossip about it. Uncle Robert told you first.
- 12:14Speaker 1: They are not back together. Hey, we're going to take
- 12:17Speaker 1: a quick break and we will be back there in
- 12:20Speaker 1: just a few moments. Welcome back to the Naughty but
- 12:26Speaker 1: Night Show. Umia, how strap shoes are? Malt? Lupo is
- 12:29Speaker 1: after day? Hey lupy. Hey, Doris, I hope you're listening.
- 12:31Speaker 1: That's Mark's mommy. She sometimes listens even when Mark is
- 12:34Speaker 1: not on the show. A real naughty Thank you for that, Doris. Hey,
- 12:38Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. Do you sound marvelous? So
- 12:43Speaker 1: on yesterday's show, we talked about this video of Justin
- 12:47Speaker 1: Bieber seemingly yelling at his wife in a Los Vegas casino.
- 12:54Speaker 1: This is divided fans. They don't know what to think.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Some fans are saying he is exciting. Some fans are
- 13:01Speaker 1: saying he is being aggressive. Let's see what you think
- 13:08Speaker 1: said excited. You think he's been excited. I hate to
- 13:11Speaker 1: do this, naughties. I think he's been aggressive. I was
- 13:14Speaker 1: watching the videos on Naughty Gossip dot com, our website.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I watched it about six times. To me, it looked
- 13:19Speaker 1: like he was being aggressive. Now, yes, he just got
- 13:22Speaker 1: off stage. He was all pumped up, full of adrenaline,
- 13:25Speaker 1: like pumping through his veins. But even so getting in
- 13:30Speaker 1: your wife's face like that and screaming, maybe he was
- 13:33Speaker 1: just screaming, Yes we did it. Yes, there's no sound,
- 13:37Speaker 1: so it's tricky to figure it all out. But you
- 13:40Speaker 1: know what, the majority has spoken, and that's the type
- 13:43Speaker 1: of show we are. Fifty four percent said excited. Don't
- 13:48Speaker 1: forget to vote, don't you dare? Don't forget to vote
- 13:51Speaker 1: on today's poll. Going to our Twitter page at Naughty
- 13:55Speaker 1: Nice Rob or our Facebook page, which is Naughty Gossip Baby.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. And
- 14:05Speaker 1: now it's time for the nicest of the day. Thank you,
- 14:12Speaker 1: Thank you. I love you helping me with the sound effects.
- 14:15Speaker 1: It's so silly. I'm sitting in my closet recording this podcast.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I'm thinking about you all, but I'm definitely sitting by myself,
- 14:22Speaker 1: So making these silly sounds by myself make me feel really,
- 14:25Speaker 1: really silly. But I know you're doing it along with me,
- 14:29Speaker 1: So thank you for that. And nicest of the day
- 14:33Speaker 1: Jason Sadekers is our nicest of the Day for hinting
- 14:36Speaker 1: that Harry Styles wasn't actually behind the breakup. In a
- 14:40Speaker 1: new interview with g Q magazine, Jason is breaking his
- 14:45Speaker 1: silence about the split and hinting that he was ultimately
- 14:50Speaker 1: the one responsible for ending his relationship. Not Harry Styles,
- 14:56Speaker 1: but no Jason Sadekas. He said the following, and this
- 15:00Speaker 1: a major statement, and I'm amazed he could actually say this,
- 15:04Speaker 1: but he did quote. That's an experience that you either
- 15:09Speaker 1: learn from or you make excuses for. He's talking about
- 15:12Speaker 1: the breakup. You can take some responsibility for it, hold
- 15:17Speaker 1: yourself accountable for what you do, but then also endeavor
- 15:22Speaker 1: to learn something beyond the the obvious from it. So
- 15:27Speaker 1: he's really digging deep here. He's not just going to
- 15:30Speaker 1: blame this other guy. He's gonna blame himself for some
- 15:34Speaker 1: of it. He's going to look at himself. He's going
- 15:36Speaker 1: to take responsibility, he's holding himself accountable, and then he's
- 15:41Speaker 1: gonna look beyond the obvious, which is probably Harry Styles.
- 15:45Speaker 1: That's the obvious. We've all been blaming Harry Styles. I
- 15:48Speaker 1: think Jason is saying, even if Harry's Styles was not
- 15:51Speaker 1: in the picture, they definitely had trouble. My sources tell
- 15:54Speaker 1: me they were in trouble for quite a while before
- 15:57Speaker 1: anybody went wondering, Before people's eyes and how and and
- 16:00Speaker 1: other things went wondering, Jason and Olivia were in trouble.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Their relationship was not solid, it was it was very rocky.
- 16:08Speaker 1: And then Harry Styles came along, and it would be easy,
- 16:11Speaker 1: I do get it. It would be easy to totally
- 16:13Speaker 1: blame Harry. He's not innocent either, but it's not all
- 16:17Speaker 1: Harry's blame. Jason has taken some of the responsibility to
- 16:21Speaker 1: and nicest of the day and now our naughtiest of
- 16:24Speaker 1: the day. Norty Norty Norty, Norty, Norty. Gwen and Blake
- 16:27Speaker 1: aren't going to go on a honeymoon just yet. Oh
- 16:31Speaker 1: so gwenh and Blake are putting off their honeymoon because
- 16:34Speaker 1: of work. You two, you're so rich, honestly, you're so famous,
- 16:38Speaker 1: you two at the bars. Surely you two can say
- 16:40Speaker 1: we're going to take a couple of weeks off, sources
- 16:43Speaker 1: tell E News quote. After the wedding, everybody left town
- 16:47Speaker 1: apart from Gwen and Blake, who spent a few days
- 16:50Speaker 1: on the ranch together with just her kids. It was
- 16:53Speaker 1: really relaxing and they could let everything sinking from the
- 16:56Speaker 1: wonderful weekend. Now they're back in Los Angeles, US. They
- 17:00Speaker 1: are very very happy, but they both have work commitments
- 17:03Speaker 1: coming up and they're too busy to take a honeymoon.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Inside US add not a lot has really changed. They're
- 17:10Speaker 1: now calling each other husband and wife, but they're extremely
- 17:14Speaker 1: happy and excited about finally being marriage. You know, I
- 17:17Speaker 1: think these two are just lovely. But I do wish
- 17:20Speaker 1: I do wish you took a little bit of a break.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Do you do that? Do you take vacations? Can you
- 17:25Speaker 1: take time off? I'm talking about this, and yet I
- 17:27Speaker 1: very rarely take a day off, although I love what
- 17:30Speaker 1: I do. I love my work. I guess they do too.
- 17:34Speaker 1: And naughtiest of the day. And now it's time for
- 17:39Speaker 1: a moment of rub You get a rob you get Robbi,
- 17:42Speaker 1: get a Robbi, get a rob So hopefully for fifteen
- 17:45Speaker 1: and twenty minutes, will you make you giggle or laugh
- 17:48Speaker 1: with silly celebrity gossip. We know what this show is about.
- 17:51Speaker 1: We want to escape think of celebrities, laugh and giggle,
- 17:55Speaker 1: but for a minute or a moment where just a
- 17:57Speaker 1: little bit more serious, stop racing through life towards the
- 18:02Speaker 1: finish lion, and start enjoying the journey along the way.
- 18:06Speaker 1: It's really easy to take life for granted. When you
- 18:10Speaker 1: only think about checking off tasks on your to do list,
- 18:14Speaker 1: you fall into the trap of just finding more and
- 18:17Speaker 1: more stuff to do rather than finding true happiness. So everybody,
- 18:21Speaker 1: don't speed up, slow down. That's the message of today.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Don't speed up, slow down. Sometimes I get so wrapped
- 18:33Speaker 1: up in my day what I'm doing. I rushed through it.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I run through it, and I end up enjoying none
- 18:40Speaker 1: of it. It's like when you rush through a really
- 18:42Speaker 1: good meal, you don't even taste it. You just swallow
- 18:45Speaker 1: it down so quickly. What I'm saying for today is
- 18:48Speaker 1: let's all just slow down a little. I can hear
- 18:52Speaker 1: you laughing because I talk so fast. I do. I
- 18:55Speaker 1: get it. I do talk fast, but I'm trying just
- 18:58Speaker 1: to slow things down, Allen and smell the roses along
- 19:03Speaker 1: the way, because you can't take life for granted. Life
- 19:07Speaker 1: is wonderful. Hey, that's it for today. Thank you so
- 19:11Speaker 1: much for listening to The Naughty but Nice Show, a
- 19:15Speaker 1: production of I Heart Radio. Don't forget to subscribe on
- 19:19Speaker 1: the I Heart Radio app, Apple podcast, or wherever you listen.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Leave us a review if you can. We read a
- 19:25Speaker 1: couple yesterday. Thank you so much for those. And remember
- 19:28Speaker 1: everybody you got to sing with me. I really appreciate it.
- 19:32Speaker 1: These days that I do the show by myself, I
- 19:34Speaker 1: sometimes get a little bit nervous. I do. I want
- 19:37Speaker 1: to do the best shows every day with the best gossip.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I know it's twenty minutes of your valuable time, and
- 19:43Speaker 1: so I get a little bit, just a little bit
- 19:45Speaker 1: nervous when I feel like I'm by myself. But then
- 19:48Speaker 1: I remember all you naughties. We're in this together. Remember,
- 19:52Speaker 1: if you're going to be naughty, you've got to be
- 19:58Speaker 1: take care of. It's gone even nice with ro
