- 0:00Speaker 1: Good morning and welcome to Bongina Report, early edition. Trump
- 0:04Speaker 1: announces the U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip. Democrats
- 0:09Speaker 1: swarm the U.S. Treasury Department building in protest. FBI agents
- 0:14Speaker 1: sue Trump's DOJ. 1,000 EPA employees warned that they could
- 0:19Speaker 1: be fired immediately by President Trump. Trump promises to abolish
- 0:26Speaker 1: the Department of Education. CBS accidentally proves the border crisis
- 0:31Speaker 1: is actually a human trafficking crisis. And the NFL removes
- 0:35Speaker 1: the end racism, end zone message ahead of the Super Bowl.
- 0:39Speaker 1: All this on Bongino Report, early edition.
- 0:52Speaker 2: The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we
- 0:55Speaker 2: will do a job with it, too. We'll own it.
- 0:58Speaker 2: and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded
- 1:02Speaker 2: bombs and other weapons on the site. Level the site
- 1:06Speaker 2: and get rid of the destroyed buildings. Level it out.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of
- 1:14Speaker 2: jobs and housing for the people of the area. Do
- 1:19Speaker 2: a real job. Do something different. Just can't go back.
- 1:22Speaker 2: If you go back, it's going to end up the
- 1:24Speaker 2: same way it has for 100 years.
- 1:27Speaker 1: President Trump announced yesterday evening that the U.S. will take
- 1:31Speaker 1: over the Gaza Strip, level the site, and rebuild it
- 1:36Speaker 1: during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Before that soundbite, Trump also said that, quote, we should
- 1:43Speaker 1: go to other countries of interest with humanitarian hearts, and
- 1:47Speaker 1: there are many of them that want to do this
- 1:49Speaker 1: and build various domains that will ultimately be occupied by
- 1:52Speaker 1: the 1.8 million Palestinians living in Gaza and ending the
- 1:55Speaker 1: death and destruction, and frankly, bad luck. So presumably this
- 1:58Speaker 1: means that the Gazans are going to live in neighboring
- 2:02Speaker 1: Muslim countries. Pretty much the entire world has responded to
- 2:05Speaker 1: this plan of Trump's very negatively. They all have reiterated
- 2:08Speaker 1: that they want a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine.
- 2:12Speaker 1: But Trump said that he envisions the world people living
- 2:16Speaker 1: in Gaza. That's the quote. And that some Palestinians might
- 2:19Speaker 1: live there one day too, but presumably the land will
- 2:22Speaker 1: not be theirs. Now, I have some questions. What exactly
- 2:26Speaker 1: does Trump mean when he says take over? Kind of
- 2:29Speaker 1: a vague term. The Israelis have flattened Gaza. It is
- 2:33Speaker 1: rubble now. There is no infrastructure left. So what does
- 2:40Speaker 1: Trump mean by take over? Are the Americans going to
- 2:43Speaker 1: rebuild Gaza and then hand it back over to the Israelis?
- 2:47Speaker 1: We send them bombs. The Israelis drop the bombs and
- 2:49Speaker 1: then we clean up their mess. That doesn't seem very
- 2:51Speaker 1: America first to me. And I can't imagine that Trump
- 2:54Speaker 1: would ever make a deal like that being the businessman
- 2:56Speaker 1: that he is. So there has to be something in
- 2:58Speaker 1: it for the United States. Does that mean then that
- 3:01Speaker 1: Gaza is going to become a US territory? And do
- 3:04Speaker 1: we really want to colonize Gaza in some way? Frankly,
- 3:08Speaker 1: I would much rather we invest in a place like Greenland,
- 3:11Speaker 1: which is strategically important to mainland USA. Owning or occupying
- 3:17Speaker 1: Gaza is nothing but trouble. That part of the world
- 3:20Speaker 1: is a disaster. Not worth investing more time, more money,
- 3:25Speaker 1: more violence in. If Israel gets into a conflict with Iran, say,
- 3:29Speaker 1: in the future, does that mean that the U.S.-owned Gaza
- 3:33Speaker 1: has to get involved as well? Is the U.S. then
- 3:35Speaker 1: ultimately involved in whatever conflict occurs in the Middle East?
- 3:39Speaker 1: We have no way of removing ourselves from the conflict.
- 3:43Speaker 1: We have to get involved too. That's We need clarification
- 3:49Speaker 1: on what exactly takeover means. But if it means what
- 3:54Speaker 1: I think it means, I don't think this is a
- 3:56Speaker 1: good idea. I think we can all agree that U.S.
- 3:58Speaker 1: meddling in the Middle East has been disastrous for this country,
- 4:01Speaker 1: for the entire world. We shouldn't make the same mistake twice.
- 4:04Speaker 1: But beyond that, is rebuilding Gaza even worth the money?
- 4:09Speaker 1: Peachy Keenan tweeted this yesterday. Instead of Gaza, first do
- 4:12Speaker 1: Los Angeles. And she's right. I get that we're saving
- 4:16Speaker 1: money with Doge, but That doesn't mean that we should
- 4:18Speaker 1: just spend whatever we save on rebuilding random countries across
- 4:21Speaker 1: the globe when you have Los Angeles and North Carolina
- 4:26Speaker 1: in need of American aid. So those should be the
- 4:30Speaker 1: priority in my opinion. That's my two cents. We're going
- 4:32Speaker 1: to see. Some people say that Trump is playing a
- 4:35Speaker 1: 4D chess game, that maybe this is just a preliminary statement.
- 4:39Speaker 1: That will lead to a better deal in the future
- 4:42Speaker 1: as he kind of puts the world on edge. Who
- 4:44Speaker 1: knows what the game plan is? I trust President Trump.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I'm laying out what I see here. And there doesn't
- 4:50Speaker 1: seem to be a lot of America first options if
- 4:53Speaker 1: we take Trump at his word with this takeover of Gaza.
- 4:58Speaker 2: All right.
- 4:59Speaker 1: We're going to take a quick break. When we come back,
- 5:01Speaker 1: I have some hilarious sound bites to share with you
- 5:04Speaker 1: all from the protest at the U.S. Treasury Building yesterday.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Don't go anywhere. I'm reading your comments. Michael and I
- 5:12Speaker 1: were going over them. I'm like, is there any that
- 5:13Speaker 1: we should put up? Is there anything we should talk
- 5:15Speaker 1: about more? Because you guys are pretty 50-50. Some of
- 5:17Speaker 1: you are like, no, Trump's playing 4-D chess. This is
- 5:20Speaker 1: a great idea. Others are saying that Israel's committed genocide
- 5:24Speaker 1: and this is terrible of the Palestinian people. And I
- 5:26Speaker 1: get that this is a really contentious issue. The way
- 5:28Speaker 1: that I come at this topic with you guys is
- 5:32Speaker 1: always from an America First perspective. I am thinking about
- 5:35Speaker 1: the American people. What is in our best interest? There
- 5:38Speaker 1: are moral arguments to make about what's happening between Israel
- 5:41Speaker 1: and Palestine. I think that those are fine conversations to have.
- 5:44Speaker 1: On this show, however, my focus is this country. And
- 5:48Speaker 1: I am laying it out as I see it. What
- 5:50Speaker 1: is in the best interest of the American people? Either way,
- 5:53Speaker 1: whether Trump is going to hand Gaza back to the
- 5:55Speaker 1: Israelis after we inevitably rebuild it, or whether America occupies it,
- 6:01Speaker 1: I don't see how that is America first. I don't
- 6:04Speaker 1: see how either of those options are in our best interest.
- 6:06Speaker 1: So we will see what happens. But that is where
- 6:09Speaker 1: I'm coming from when I talk about this issue. Just
- 6:12Speaker 1: so you guys have some context, you know where I'm
- 6:14Speaker 1: coming from.
- 6:15Speaker 3: All right.
- 6:16Speaker 1: There was a protest at the U.S. Treasury Building yesterday.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Here was Chuck Schumer. And we will win. We will win.
- 6:28Speaker 4: We will win.
- 6:30Speaker 2: We will win.
- 6:33Speaker 1: We will win.
- 6:34Speaker 5: We won't rest.
- 6:38Speaker 3: We won't rest.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Nothing has made me more sure that this man is
- 6:43Speaker 1: a loser than then that soundbite right there, we will win.
- 6:48Speaker 1: And he's like this old man, and nobody's joining in.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And this is, of course, after they lost. They lost
- 6:55Speaker 1: the presidential election. That's why Democrats are outside the building
- 6:59Speaker 1: protesting instead of running the executive branch. Now, what are
- 7:04Speaker 1: they protesting, you might ask? This is a really important question. Apparently,
- 7:08Speaker 1: Elon Musk, he has broken into the U.S. Department of
- 7:10Speaker 1: Treasury building, and he is stealing people's Social Security checks. Yes,
- 7:16Speaker 1: Elon Musk has broken in and he is stealing Social
- 7:19Speaker 1: Security checks. That is the allegation currently being brought by
- 7:23Speaker 1: Democrat lawmakers. Serious Democrat lawmakers are alleging that Elon Musk
- 7:28Speaker 1: is stealing money from the U.S. Treasury building. In reality,
- 7:32Speaker 1: Doge has been given read-only access to Treasury payment systems.
- 7:38Speaker 1: To the Treasury's payment system, that is it. Now, in response... Democrat,
- 7:46Speaker 1: to this really unhinged fear-mongering and false fear-mongering from the
- 7:51Speaker 1: Democratic officials, protesters swarmed the Department of Treasury building yesterday,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and they were chanting this. They're saying, let us in, which,
- 8:06Speaker 1: in my opinion, we're good with that, Mikey. It's a
- 8:07Speaker 1: little bit insurrection-y, isn't it? They're going to take over
- 8:10Speaker 1: the U.S. Treasury building. They're going to storm the building.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Seems a little bit like an insurrection to me. Here
- 8:16Speaker 1: was Representative LaMonica McIver speaking outside of the Treasury building.
- 8:20Speaker 1: She had a pretty insightful take here. Take a listen.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Republicans, that we will not take this. We will fight back.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Fight back.
- 8:30Speaker 6: Fight back.
- 8:32Speaker 4: And as I close out, because I know we've been
- 8:34Speaker 4: out here for a long time, and God damn it,
- 8:37Speaker 4: shut down the Senate.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yes! We are at war.
- 8:45Speaker 4: Anytime a person can pay $ 250 million into a campaign
- 8:50Speaker 4: and they be given access, full access to the Department
- 8:53Speaker 4: of Treasury of the United States of America, we are
- 8:57Speaker 4: at war.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Thank you. Someone comments. How do you steal from a
- 9:05Speaker 1: treasury with $ 35 trillion in debt? It's a great question.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I think that's what Elon Musk is
- 9:12Speaker 1: trying to fix right now. But listen to that rhetoric.
- 9:15Speaker 1: We are at war. It's pretty violent, isn't it? If
- 9:18Speaker 1: you ask me, it's pretty unhinged. Asking for chaos in
- 9:22Speaker 1: the streets. And I'm going to tell you what this
- 9:24Speaker 1: is really about. The left does not believe that the
- 9:27Speaker 1: right has a right to take political power. It's inconceivable
- 9:31Speaker 1: to them. Here was Elizabeth Warren, aka Pocahontas. Oh, we
- 9:38Speaker 1: don't have Elizabeth Warren? All right, that's all right. So
- 9:42Speaker 1: she's screaming about Elon Musk. All of these Democrat senators,
- 9:46Speaker 1: representatives are screeching about Elon Musk. And The Atlantic decided
- 9:50Speaker 1: to run an article yesterday. It was titled, Elon Musk
- 9:53Speaker 1: is president. The world's richest man has declared war on
- 9:56Speaker 1: the federal government and his influence appears unchecked. So you
- 10:00Speaker 1: just the actual Democrat politicians, but the corporate media has
- 10:04Speaker 1: come out. They've fallen in rhetorical line and they are
- 10:06Speaker 1: also fear mongering wildly about Elon Musk. And the deal
- 10:10Speaker 1: is Trump tasked Elon with tackling government waste and we
- 10:14Speaker 1: voted for Trump. All this anger is really rooted in
- 10:18Speaker 1: the left's insistence that the right has no right to
- 10:21Speaker 1: govern the country after winning an election. Even after we
- 10:25Speaker 1: won the popular vote, we still don't have a right
- 10:28Speaker 1: to run the country. And by the way, if we're
- 10:31Speaker 1: going to talk about unelected people running the country, I
- 10:36Speaker 1: never voted for USAID, never voted for the ATF or
- 10:39Speaker 1: the FBI or the TSA or CISA or any of
- 10:41Speaker 1: these tyrannical agencies that Democrats love. I never voted for
- 10:44Speaker 1: any of them. So I really don't want to hear it.
- 10:47Speaker 1: The allegations, the anger, the fear, it falls on deaf ears.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Because Democrats love unelected tyrants running the country. They love it.
- 10:57Speaker 1: And now they're going to fearmonger about Elon Musk because
- 11:00Speaker 1: he's tackling government waste and all their pet projects? Give
- 11:03Speaker 1: me a break. As an aside, AOC, with all of
- 11:08Speaker 1: her insights, she's come in attacking Elon Musk as well
- 11:12Speaker 1: in the most.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Hilarious way AOC could possibly attack Elon Musk. Take a listen.
- 11:20Speaker 7: This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires
- 11:25Speaker 7: I have ever met or.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Seen or witnessed, which, you know, you can probably even.
- 11:33Speaker 7: Glean that from watching these people on TV. Anyways, all
- 11:37Speaker 7: of that is to say is that they don't do
- 11:39Speaker 7: their homework. Clearly, like, They're putting 19-year-olds in at the Treasury.
- 11:45Speaker 7: This dude is not smart.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And the danger is not the lack of intelligence and
- 11:53Speaker 1: the lack of expertise that Elon has.
- 11:57Speaker 7: I mean, this guy is one of the most morally vacant,
- 12:01Speaker 7: but also just least knowledgeable about the systems that we
- 12:11Speaker 7: really know of. But the point is, is that what
- 12:16Speaker 7: that means is that they're going to hit a button. Inevitably,
- 12:22Speaker 7: they are going to hit a button and things can
- 12:24Speaker 7: go sideways.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Does AOC really want to have a conversation about IQ
- 12:31Speaker 1: right now? Does she really want to have that conversation?
- 12:35Speaker 1: She sounds so inarticulate, slamming Elon Musk, of all people,
- 12:41Speaker 1: for being allegedly unintelligent. The irony is completely lost on
- 12:46Speaker 1: her because she is indeed an idiot herself. Charlie Kirk wrote,
- 12:50Speaker 1: AOC calling Elon Musk unintelligent might actually be the dumbest
- 12:53Speaker 1: thing she has ever said, which is really saying something. Look,
- 12:58Speaker 1: Democrats are the mouthpieces for the regime. They are the
- 13:02Speaker 1: party of the state. Washington, D.C. is over 90% Democrat.
- 13:06Speaker 1: There's a reason for that. And Elon, with the blessing
- 13:09Speaker 1: of Trump, has gone to war with the federal bureaucracy.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Elon revealed on X yesterday that the fraud in the
- 13:15Speaker 1: federal government is closer to 10% of government expenditures, which
- 13:19Speaker 1: is approximately $ 700 billion per year. And he says that
- 13:26Speaker 1: outright waste is at least 15%, so another trillion plus dollars.
- 13:32Speaker 1: And let's talk about USAID, USAID for a moment, because
- 13:36Speaker 1: all of the worst people are furious that Trump has
- 13:40Speaker 1: shut down. It down. Here is Bill Gates on The
- 13:43Speaker 1: View yesterday saying that millions will die somehow without USAID.
- 13:49Speaker 5: You know, you could have literally millions of deaths. So,
- 13:52Speaker 5: you know, with aid, people think, you know, wow, how
- 13:57Speaker 5: much do we give these countries? As you said, it's
- 14:00Speaker 5: it's less than a percent. People think it's five percent
- 14:03Speaker 5: and it should be two percent. But it's actually under
- 14:06Speaker 5: one percent.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Wow.
- 14:07Speaker 5: And still saving lives.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Well.
- 14:10Speaker 1: OK, Sonny. First of all, that's a lie. Millions are
- 14:13Speaker 1: not going to die. USAID is not an aid program.
- 14:17Speaker 1: It's a CIA slush fund used to manipulate foreign governments.
- 14:21Speaker 1: The issue with USAID is not the cost, although the
- 14:23Speaker 1: cost is insane. Why are we spending millions on Sesame
- 14:28Speaker 1: Street in Iraq, promoting atheism in Nepal, creating transgender operas
- 14:33Speaker 1: in Peru? Those items I just listed are exactly why
- 14:38Speaker 1: USAID needs to go. As John Daniel Davidson writes, cutting
- 14:42Speaker 1: USAID is not about reducing the deficit or controlling the debt.
- 14:46Speaker 1: It's about defunding left-wing NGOs that use USAID grants to
- 14:51Speaker 1: spread toxic anti-Western ideologies and run psyops that undermine Western
- 14:56Speaker 1: values all over the world. That's the key. All right,
- 15:03Speaker 1: Pam Bondi was confirmed yesterday as Attorney General, and her
- 15:06Speaker 1: agency is also, as of yesterday, being sued by FBI agents. First,
- 15:15Speaker 1: some backstory. Per a CNN report, we learned yesterday that 5,000
- 15:18Speaker 1: of the FBI's 13,000 agents worked on January 6th investigation,
- 15:24Speaker 1: so nearly 40% of the FBI agents. was tasked with
- 15:29Speaker 1: shutting down January 6ers, putting them on no-fly lists, throwing
- 15:32Speaker 1: them in solitary confinement, overall destroying the lives of countless
- 15:36Speaker 1: innocent Americans who protested on January 6, 2021, under this
- 15:41Speaker 1: allegation that the day was a violent insurrection. We all
- 15:45Speaker 1: know that it was not. Trump's Justice Department has demanded
- 15:48Speaker 1: details on all these employees who worked on January 6
- 15:51Speaker 1: cases by noon of yesterday. More than 5,000 employee details
- 15:55Speaker 1: were submitted in including employee ID numbers, job titles, their
- 15:59Speaker 1: role in the January 6th investigations, but not their names.
- 16:04Speaker 1: The FBI withheld their names. The agents know that Trump
- 16:08Speaker 1: is going to probably terminate those involved in the January
- 16:12Speaker 1: 6th witch hunt, so they are actively defying the president,
- 16:16Speaker 1: actively defying Trump's DOJ by withholding these names. Nowhere in
- 16:20Speaker 1: the Constitution does By the way, does it grant authority
- 16:24Speaker 1: for a federal police force with the FBI? So at
- 16:26Speaker 1: this point, I would just shut down the FBI. You
- 16:28Speaker 1: guys are all fired. If you're not going to comply
- 16:30Speaker 1: and give me just the names, you're done. More likely,
- 16:34Speaker 1: Trump is going to get the name, get those names,
- 16:36Speaker 1: and Kash Patel is about to fire thousands of agents
- 16:40Speaker 1: once Kash is confirmed. Now, at the same time, FBI
- 16:44Speaker 1: agents who worked on J6 cases or the criminal investigations
- 16:48Speaker 1: into President Trump have filed a class action lawsuit to
- 16:52Speaker 1: block the Justice Department from assembling the lists of names
- 16:56Speaker 1: because the agents say that they're going to be part
- 16:58Speaker 1: of a retaliation campaign. So this is the best part.
- 17:01Speaker 1: This is a quote from the lawsuit. Plaintiffs assert that
- 17:05Speaker 1: even if they are not targeted for termination, they may
- 17:07Speaker 1: face other retaliatory acts such as demotion, denial of job opportunities,
- 17:11Speaker 1: or denial of promotions in the future. And this is
- 17:14Speaker 1: incredibly rich information. Because these agents had no problem ruining
- 17:19Speaker 1: the lives of thousands of innocent J6ers, some of whom
- 17:24Speaker 1: were even driven to suicide. No problem with that. Natalie
- 17:29Speaker 1: Winters reported yesterday that the lawyer suing Trump's DOJ on
- 17:34Speaker 1: behalf of these J6 FBI agents during political retribution called
- 17:38Speaker 1: to remove MAGA from government and fire them all. She
- 17:43Speaker 1: also tweeted that Biden must, must, must remove MAGA from
- 17:48Speaker 1: our institutions. And she called for industrial strength disinfectant of
- 17:55Speaker 1: MAGA bacteria in our institutions. And that's just to give
- 18:00Speaker 1: you some context about where this lawsuit is coming from.
- 18:03Speaker 1: This is a left-wing deep state rage machine. lashing out
- 18:09Speaker 1: at Trump because they're about to get exactly what they deserve.
- 18:13Speaker 1: And what a waste of those 5,000 jobs that the
- 18:16Speaker 1: American people had to pay for. Julie Kelly actually thinks
- 18:19Speaker 1: that the number of FBI agents involved in J6 is
- 18:22Speaker 1: probably higher than 5,000, given the scope and the length
- 18:25Speaker 1: of the investigation. She thinks that nearly every agent at
- 18:29Speaker 1: some point touched a J6 case. And I think if
- 18:34Speaker 1: Trump fired everyone involved in targeting J6ers, targeting pro-lifers, traditional Catholics,
- 18:40Speaker 1: parents at school board meetings, and President Trump himself, the
- 18:43Speaker 1: FBI would no longer exist. They're a fully weaponized agency
- 18:47Speaker 1: doing really evil things in this country. Molly Hemingway writes,
- 18:52Speaker 1: did the FBI do anything from 2021 to 2024 other
- 18:56Speaker 1: than run a cartoonish over-prosecution of the J6 protesters after
- 19:01Speaker 1: spending 2016 and 2019 running the republic-threatening Russia collusion hoax?
- 19:06Speaker 1: What's the justification for this agency's existence? And to that
- 19:10Speaker 1: I say, nothing, Molly. There's zero justification for the FBI
- 19:15Speaker 1: to continue on. Speaking of federal terminations, the EPA. Mission
- 19:21Speaker 1: support official Kimberly Patrick emailed more than 1,000 EPA employees
- 19:25Speaker 1: to inform them that they are likely on a probationary
- 19:28Speaker 1: trial period and that as a probationary trial period employee,
- 19:32Speaker 1: the agency has the right to immediately terminate you. Here's
- 19:35Speaker 1: how the New York Times framed this story, quote, The
- 19:39Speaker 1: Trump administration has warned more than 1,000 Environmental Protection Agency
- 19:42Speaker 1: employees who work on climate change, reducing air pollution, and
- 19:45Speaker 1: forcing environmental laws and other programs that they could be
- 19:48Speaker 1: fired at any time. So yes, if we fire EPA employees,
- 19:52Speaker 1: the Earth is about to be destroyed. Humanity will die off.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Is it these government workers at the EPA are single-handedly
- 19:58Speaker 1: saving the planet? Give me a break. We aren't sure
- 20:02Speaker 1: exactly why these specific employees are likely to be fired,
- 20:06Speaker 1: but the suspicion is that these 1,000 are defying Trump's
- 20:10Speaker 1: return to work orders. Last week, EPA Commissioner Lee Zeldin
- 20:14Speaker 1: said he's been told that the EPA building is often
- 20:17Speaker 1: at 20% capacity on any given day, and that once
- 20:20Speaker 1: he's in the building and confirmed, he will find out.
- 20:23Speaker 1: So this could be related to that. Either way, this
- 20:25Speaker 1: is amazing. We are actually cutting the fat. EPA is
- 20:29Speaker 1: another agency full of unelected bureaucrats who boss Americans around
- 20:34Speaker 1: under the banner of the climate scam. Be gone. At
- 20:39Speaker 1: the same time, Trump has announced that he is serious
- 20:41Speaker 1: about annihilating the Department of Education. Take a listen.
- 20:45Speaker 6: And on the Education Department, why nominate Linda McMahon to
- 20:49Speaker 6: be the Education Department secretary if you're going to get
- 20:52Speaker 6: rid of the Education Department?
- 20:53Speaker 3: Because I told Linda, Linda, I hope you do a
- 20:56Speaker 3: great job and put yourself out of a job. I
- 20:59Speaker 3: want her to put herself out of a job.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Education Department.
- 21:03Speaker 3: So we're ranked number 40 out of 40 schools, right?
- 21:06Speaker 3: We're ranked number one in cost per pupil. So we
- 21:08Speaker 3: spend more per pupil than any other country in the world.
- 21:11Speaker 3: And we're ranked at the bottom of the list. We're
- 21:13Speaker 3: ranked very badly. And what I want to do is
- 21:16Speaker 3: let the states run schools. I believe strongly in school choice.
- 21:20Speaker 3: But in addition to that, I want the states to
- 21:22Speaker 3: run schools. And I want Linda to put herself out
- 21:25Speaker 3: of a job.
- 21:26Speaker 1: This is really promising. This was something that Trump had
- 21:29Speaker 1: said he would do on the campaign trail. He is
- 21:31Speaker 1: apparently going to follow through. And again, like the FBI...
- 21:35Speaker 1: The Constitution does not grant the federal government authority over education.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Nowhere does it. It's a power that should be reserved
- 21:43Speaker 1: for the states and local communities. Since the DOE's establishment
- 21:48Speaker 1: in 1979, like Trump said, national test scores and educational
- 21:51Speaker 1: standards have plummeted, despite the DOE spending billions of taxpayer
- 21:55Speaker 1: dollars on various administrative costs and diversity programs. And it's
- 22:00Speaker 1: no surprise that under the Department of Education, left-wing dogma
- 22:04Speaker 1: has poisoned American public schools. Wokeism has infected reading, math, writing, music,
- 22:10Speaker 1: literally every subject. So this is great news. All right,
- 22:15Speaker 1: let's go to immigration. CBS News is running clips currently
- 22:20Speaker 1: of interviews with migrants who were deported in recent days
- 22:23Speaker 1: by the Trump admin. One example is a 21-year-old woman
- 22:27Speaker 1: who broke down in tears after she was deported back
- 22:31Speaker 1: to Guatemala from the US. Now, per CBS, the woman
- 22:34Speaker 1: is devastated, quote, largely because of what it would mean
- 22:37Speaker 1: for her and her parents, who had pulled together more
- 22:40Speaker 1: than $ 25, 000 in loans to pay her smuggler. So CBS
- 22:46Speaker 1: just showed us that the immigration crisis is also a
- 22:51Speaker 1: human trafficking crisis, which is not something that the left
- 22:56Speaker 1: likes to admit. the cartels have made more money on
- 22:59Speaker 1: trafficking than drugs. They charge outrageous amounts, in this case,
- 23:06Speaker 1: tens of thousands of dollars to smuggle people into the
- 23:09Speaker 1: United States, holding families hostages until they get paid off
- 23:14Speaker 1: over time. As John Daniel Davidson writes, this woman and
- 23:19Speaker 1: her family are essentially part of a tax base were
- 23:22Speaker 1: cartel-affiliated smugglers. The $ 25K they paid was the beginning of
- 23:27Speaker 1: what are almost certainly ongoing payments. The trafficking of illegal
- 23:31Speaker 1: migrants doesn't end once they get into the U.S. And
- 23:37Speaker 1: this is why I can't stand the left's moralizing on
- 23:39Speaker 1: the immigration question.
- 23:41Speaker 4: J.D.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Vance is a Catholic. We've talked about this before. He
- 23:44Speaker 1: is in a public spat right now with the U.S.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Catholic Conference of Bishops, who are critical of Trump's deportation agenda.
- 23:50Speaker 1: As a Catholic myself, I've had similar encounters with the
- 23:54Speaker 1: Catholic Church, where at Mass last Sunday, Michael and I
- 23:57Speaker 1: had to listen to the lectern say an offertory prayer
- 24:00Speaker 1: for all the undocumented immigrants. But no prayers were said
- 24:04Speaker 1: for Lake and Riley or the families like my own
- 24:06Speaker 1: impacted by fentanyl. Nothing. The reality is that Trump's border
- 24:12Speaker 1: security and deportation agenda is good and it is moral.
- 24:16Speaker 1: He is cutting off the life source of satanic cartels.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Why the Catholic Church doesn't understand this is beyond me.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Why Catholic Charities, Catholic organization, is funding the border crisis,
- 24:30Speaker 1: fueling it, is beyond me. It is, in fact, immoral
- 24:37Speaker 1: to permit a human trafficking crisis at our border, and
- 24:39Speaker 1: I can't believe I have to say that to fellow Catholics.
- 24:44Speaker 3: All right.
- 24:45Speaker 1: In some sports news, yes, we are going to cover
- 24:48Speaker 1: sports news, which I don't usually talk about, but Per
- 24:51Speaker 1: OutKick founder Clay Travis, after four years, the NFL is
- 24:55Speaker 1: removing the end racism end zone message for the Super Bowl,
- 25:00Speaker 1: which President Trump is actually scheduled to attend. Remember that
- 25:02Speaker 1: end racism slogan was put on during 2020 during the
- 25:06Speaker 1: BLM riots. But it's not all sunshine. It's sunshine and rainbows.
- 25:11Speaker 1: We also learned that the supposed black national anthem will
- 25:16Speaker 1: still be performed ahead of this weekend's game. in New Orleans,
- 25:20Speaker 1: and the black national anthem is a fine song. I
- 25:22Speaker 1: don't have any problem with it, but I do think
- 25:24Speaker 1: it's inappropriate for the Super Bowl. There's only one national
- 25:27Speaker 1: anthem that is needed for the Super Bowl, and that
- 25:29Speaker 1: is the national anthem. It's entirely bizarre, and I think
- 25:33Speaker 1: it appropriate to sing a separate anthem for a racial
- 25:37Speaker 1: group at an all-American cultural event meant to bring people together.
- 25:43Speaker 1: But I think just the fact that people on social
- 25:46Speaker 1: media are pointing this out It's such a radical change
- 25:50Speaker 1: from 2020. People have concurred with what I've just said
- 25:52Speaker 1: to you, wanting to have one national anthem instead of
- 25:57Speaker 1: our national anthem and then a black national anthem. And
- 26:01Speaker 1: this is, again, a radical shift from 2020. Do you
- 26:03Speaker 1: guys remember what it was like after George Floyd died?
- 26:07Speaker 1: Absolute chaos. Buildings burned. Monuments torn down. I was there
- 26:13Speaker 1: with Michael in Kenosha. I witnessed it. It was horrifying.
- 26:17Speaker 1: our heritage and our history smeared as racist, DEI programs
- 26:21Speaker 1: installed all across government, academia, the workplace. But the race
- 26:27Speaker 1: politics has worn on people. Trump's destruction of government DEI
- 26:32Speaker 1: has been widely well-received by the public. And Democrats, who
- 26:37Speaker 1: have tied their party intrinsically to identity politics, have a
- 26:41Speaker 1: huge problem on their hands. And on that note, do
- 26:45Speaker 1: you guys remember transgender Dylan Mulvaney's Bud Light ad and
- 26:50Speaker 1: the massive controversy around it, Bud Light ever since has
- 26:54Speaker 1: been intensely trying to recoup its losses and bring back
- 26:59Speaker 1: customers who were really soured on the company ever since
- 27:04Speaker 1: that Bud Light-Dylan Mulvaney collaboration. Here is Bud Light's latest
- 27:11Speaker 1: ad set to air at the Super Bowl. I need
- 27:14Speaker 1: your thoughts.
- 27:15Speaker 3: You want to go fishing tomorrow?
- 27:16Speaker 5: I got a colonoscopy tomorrow.
- 27:20Speaker 7: Fellas, I accidentally threw a lame party.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Okay, Ted.
- 27:24Speaker 1: They're on their way.
- 27:30Speaker 4: They're here.
- 27:31Speaker 5: You call this a party?
- 27:33Speaker 3: Cul-de-sac party!
- 27:34Speaker 7: Launch!
- 27:36Speaker 5: Launch! And beers are a metaphor for an invitation.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Is that our leaf blower?
- 27:42Speaker 4: Party at the sack!
- 27:46Speaker 3: You are cordially invited to the end of the cul-de-sac.
- 27:50Speaker 3: This is incredible.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Your mower smokes meat?
- 27:54Speaker 2: No, a smoker cuts grass.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Hell yeah. I spent most of my money on this.
- 27:57Speaker 2: You rigged?
- 27:58Speaker 1: Fully custom. How many Bud Lights can you fit in
- 28:00Speaker 1: that puppy?
- 28:01Speaker 3: As many Bud Lights as it takes.
- 28:02Speaker 1: A lot of Bud Lights.
- 28:04Speaker 6: This cul-de-sac's poppin'..
- 28:08Speaker 5: Bill, get off the boat. The HOA's already breathing down
- 28:13Speaker 5: my neck.
- 28:16Speaker 1: So if you're listening, you got, like, there's a cookout,
- 28:19Speaker 1: there's a lawnmower, you got these guys with shorts and
- 28:24Speaker 1: polo shirts with the baseball caps on. You have Post
- 28:29Speaker 1: Malone and Shane Gillis featured. Drop a comment, tell me
- 28:33Speaker 1: what you think of this. Michael likes the ad. To me,
- 28:37Speaker 1: it looks like what someone who doesn't know any straight
- 28:40Speaker 1: white males might think straight white males are like. Jack
- 28:44Speaker 1: Posobiec described it as a white male minstrel. Some people
- 28:47Speaker 1: said that they aren't forgetting the Bud Light scandal, that
- 28:49Speaker 1: this doesn't change anything. Another person said, I felt like
- 28:53Speaker 1: it should be funny, but didn't quite make it. It
- 28:55Speaker 1: feels like they're trying too hard. Another person said, this
- 28:58Speaker 1: is in the vein of TV shows depicting white men
- 29:00Speaker 1: and dads as bumbling fools. Here's what I'll say. Companies
- 29:06Speaker 1: have been jumping to drop their DEI in the wake
- 29:10Speaker 1: of Trump's executive orders for a reason. Because after Bud Light,
- 29:13Speaker 1: corporate America realized that they had a problem. They may
- 29:16Speaker 1: hate normal Americans, but we also have power as a collective.
- 29:21Speaker 1: And they can't just force feed them left-wing slop like
- 29:25Speaker 1: they have been for the last few years without creating
- 29:28Speaker 1: massive outrage and hurting their own bottom line. And so
- 29:33Speaker 1: even if Bud Light is missing the mark with this ad,
- 29:35Speaker 1: there are mixed perspectives. Some people like it, some people
- 29:38Speaker 1: hate it. I would rather Bud Light be trying to
- 29:41Speaker 1: appease their customers than force-feeding them transgender propaganda. You know
- 29:47Speaker 1: how I know political correctness is dead? This was Trump
- 29:51Speaker 1: last night at his press conference with Netanyahu. Take a listen.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 29:56Speaker 7: The Press I have a little hard time understanding you.
- 29:59Speaker 4: Where are you from?
- 29:59Speaker 1: Actually, it's a beautiful voice and a beautiful accent.
- 30:26Speaker 2: The only problem is I can't understand a word you're saying.
- 30:30Speaker 2: But I just say this. Good luck. Live in peace.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Go ahead, please.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Good luck. Live in peace. I can't even believe this happened.
- 30:39Speaker 1: I can't even believe it happened. I did think that
- 30:41Speaker 1: Trump was going to say beautiful country, but then he
- 30:43Speaker 1: stopped himself. He said, oh, beautiful accent. Because Afghanistan is
- 30:48Speaker 1: not a great place to be. Hilarious. And can you
- 30:52Speaker 1: imagine if somebody said that, a politician saying, said those
- 30:56Speaker 1: exact words pre-Trump, career-ending. It'd be over. And also notice
- 31:01Speaker 1: how in the room, the journalists laugh instead of gasp
- 31:05Speaker 1: or get all upset. He has dismantled the political correctness.
- 31:11Speaker 1: And frankly, I mean, he's right. I mean, why should
- 31:14Speaker 1: Trump answer a question if he genuinely can't understand this woman?
- 31:17Speaker 1: I would rather him say, I'm sorry, I can't understand,
- 31:19Speaker 1: than try to answer a question that he never actually heard.
- 31:22Speaker 1: And there's an honesty- And a truthfulness that has come
- 31:26Speaker 1: back with the dismantling of DEI that I think is
- 31:30Speaker 1: a really wonderful thing. Something that America has been desiring
- 31:34Speaker 1: for way too long. And this is what Trump has done.
- 31:39Speaker 1: He has spearheaded an entire cultural shift. And we really
- 31:43Speaker 1: did dodge a bullet. I want you to just think
- 31:45Speaker 1: about what's happening in the UK. The UK just locked
- 31:48Speaker 1: up a man named Martin Frost. He's a 47-year-old guy.
- 31:51Speaker 1: who burned pages of the Quran publicly in Manchester. Frost
- 31:56Speaker 1: was charged with racially and religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm,
- 32:00Speaker 1: and distress. Meanwhile, Pakistani Muslims, who have organized grooming gangs
- 32:07Speaker 1: across the UK, have actually been protected by the government
- 32:11Speaker 1: and eventually were given lenient punishments, if at all. Per
- 32:16Speaker 1: The Telegraph, The UK government is planning to introduce an
- 32:20Speaker 1: official definition of Islamophobia, which would criminalize criticisms of Muslim
- 32:25Speaker 1: migration and even grooming gangs. The rest of the world
- 32:31Speaker 1: is living in post-World War II liberalism, globalism hell. But
- 32:37Speaker 1: it seems like America has actually escaped it. Here's Mike
- 32:41Speaker 1: Benz on what President Trump prevented with his election.
- 32:45Speaker 6: All it took was Donald Trump getting elected for arguably
- 32:47Speaker 6: 200 years of a First Amendment principle to be entirely
- 32:50Speaker 6: discarded because it was leading to the wrong kinds of
- 32:53Speaker 6: people being elected. Free speech on the Internet was blamed
- 32:55Speaker 6: for the loss of the Philippines election by the State
- 32:58Speaker 6: Department in 2016. It was blamed for the events of Brexit.
- 33:01Speaker 6: It was blamed for the rise of Trump in 2016.
- 33:02Speaker 6: It was blamed for the rise of Bolsonaro. It was
- 33:04Speaker 6: blamed for the rise of Modi in India. In country
- 33:07Speaker 6: after country, the free... and open internet, unfiltered alternative news,
- 33:12Speaker 6: the rise of citizen journalists, the rise of citizens in
- 33:15Speaker 6: those countries who have larger voices than CIA-backed media has
- 33:19Speaker 6: meant that the State Department has lost control of those countries.
- 33:21Speaker 6: And what happened was, after 2016, the technology and the
- 33:25Speaker 6: networks were established to be able to add a new
- 33:28Speaker 6: toolkit to American diplomacy, which is diplomacy by censorship. So
- 33:31Speaker 6: you have truckers in America whose income tax is going
- 33:34Speaker 6: to pay foreign governments to censor their citizens.
- 33:37Speaker 3: We're becoming the Soviet Union.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Had Trump not been elected, all that would have continued.
- 33:44Speaker 1: All of the massive violation of the First Amendment in
- 33:47Speaker 1: this country and the importation of zero free speech despotism
- 33:56Speaker 1: to the rest of the world as well. As Daryl
- 33:59Speaker 1: Cooper writes, it is impossible to understand actions like this
- 34:04Speaker 1: until you accept that the U.S. is not a proper
- 34:07Speaker 1: nation state, but a revolutionary empire like the USSR. I
- 34:13Speaker 1: think one thing is clear. America cannot afford to be distracted.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Every single day, the left, the bureaucrats, the unseen globalists,
- 34:22Speaker 1: they're out for blood. And they aren't hiding it anymore.
- 34:25Speaker 1: They were literally out in the streets yesterday, calling for violence,
- 34:29Speaker 1: proudly and openly. That's why we need to stay focused.
- 34:33Speaker 1: America First is the guide. We've spent decades making disastrous
- 34:38Speaker 1: foreign entanglements our problem, pouring trillions into wars and reconstruction
- 34:44Speaker 1: efforts that do nothing to strengthen our nation. Trillions that
- 34:48Speaker 1: should have gone to securing our border, rebuilding our economy,
- 34:52Speaker 1: making life better for our own people. And instead, those
- 34:54Speaker 1: resources were spent on nation building halfway across the world.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Enough.
- 34:59Speaker 1: If we're talking about taking over and rebuilding it should
- 35:03Speaker 1: be our own cities, our own industries, our own future.
- 35:07Speaker 1: This administration has already done incredible things. For the first
- 35:10Speaker 1: time in decades, we have a government that is actively
- 35:13Speaker 1: dismantling the corruption, but we can't forget the past. We
- 35:17Speaker 1: have to learn from previous mistakes so that good things
- 35:21Speaker 1: we're doing now, like cutting USAID, firing partisan FBI agents,
- 35:25Speaker 1: destroying DEI, but they don't get lost in another wasteful
- 35:29Speaker 1: foreign venture. The establishment will always try to pull us
- 35:32Speaker 1: back into their games, to bait us into losing sight
- 35:36Speaker 1: of the mission. They want us distracted. They want us exhausted.
- 35:40Speaker 1: And that's how they win. But not this time. Not again.
- 35:45Speaker 1: America First is not a slogan. It is a roadmap.
- 35:47Speaker 1: It is a commitment to never again sacrificing our country
- 35:51Speaker 1: for the sake of globalist schemes or pointless foreign conflicts.
- 35:54Speaker 1: It is a promise to fight every single day for
- 35:57Speaker 1: what truly matters, which is the survival of and the
- 36:00Speaker 1: strength of the American people. That's all I have for
- 36:05Speaker 1: you guys today. Thank you so much for tuning in,
- 36:08Speaker 1: and I'll see you all tomorrow. The U.S. Soccer Podcast.
- 36:13Speaker 2: I'm your host, Megan Klingenberg, and I am super stoked
- 36:16Speaker 2: to be joined by Daryl Dike.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Arguably, your most impressive quality cannot be measured. You're a
- 36:22Speaker 1: guy who is the definition of grit. Injuries have ended
- 36:25Speaker 1: plenty of careers, but instead you decided yours would only
- 36:28Speaker 1: be a chapter instead of the ending. Welcome to the show, Daryl.
- 36:31Speaker 5: Thank you so much.
- 36:31Speaker 6: That's a good intro right there.
- 36:33Speaker 2: That's good.
