- 12:15Speaker 4: to wish a happy birthday to a friend of the show,
- 12:17Speaker 4: Matt Crumpton. It's his birthday today of solving JFP.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Being a Christmas baby sucks for you, but happy birthday.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Yeah's It's hard to get two presents, right. I would
- 12:33Speaker 4: always just get one for family member who's their friends.
- 12:37Speaker 2: My kids birthdays is two weeks after Christmas, and I'm
- 12:39Speaker 2: always like shit, all right.
- 12:46Speaker 4: So Rob, what are we going to be getting into tonight?
- 12:51Speaker 2: Well, Joseph, we're gonna beginning into a lot of horses,
- 12:57Speaker 2: assery and foolishness in New Orleans to be specific. But
- 13:03Speaker 2: I thought we'd started out by laying some groundwork, okay
- 13:12Speaker 2: with the CRC. Okay, h Now the CRC, because I
- 13:22Speaker 2: think it's important for context to know who these groups are.
- 13:24Speaker 2: We say them all the time, like dr E or
- 13:27Speaker 2: the CRC or the fr D or the who the
- 13:30Speaker 2: fuck knows, But so let's lay a little ground. We're
- 13:35Speaker 2: here for the CRC.
- 13:38Speaker 1: UH.
- 13:39Speaker 2: They were the Cuban Revolutionary Council. They absorbed a former
- 13:44Speaker 2: group called the Fronte revolutionary O democratic O or they
- 13:48Speaker 2: otherwise known as the f r D. Okay, yes, I
- 13:54Speaker 2: mean all these groups, you know people leaving special though
- 13:58Speaker 2: Joe because it the head of it. Were the leaders
- 14:01Speaker 2: of five major anti castro groups. So they came together
- 14:05Speaker 2: to form the basically the United Front Right for a
- 14:11Speaker 2: Democratic Revolution in Cuba, and they were known as the
- 14:22Speaker 2: military arm of the FRD was known as Brigade twenty
- 14:25Speaker 2: five six, who you may have heard of. BRIGADI was
- 14:28Speaker 2: eventually composed of almost fifteen hundred men who were trained
- 14:31Speaker 2: by US Army specialists at two sites on the south
- 14:34Speaker 2: coast of Guatemala. The leaders in the organization was composed
- 14:39Speaker 2: of the FRD Executive Committee were a bunch of people
- 14:42Speaker 2: you never heard of. Tony Verona, Manuel Artemee who you've
- 14:47Speaker 2: all heard of, some others confoses. So in sixty one,
- 14:57Speaker 2: the State Department pressured FRD leaders to accept the MRP,
- 15:02Speaker 2: headed by Manny Manuel Ray Rivera, into the FRD. The
- 15:08Speaker 2: inclusion of Ray's group into the Alliance of Cuban exiles
- 15:11Speaker 2: was reportedly also terribly important to the White House. Gee
- 15:14Speaker 2: I wonder why, which wanted to broaden the political base
- 15:17Speaker 2: of the FRD. In an effort to attract Ray and
- 15:19Speaker 2: his group into the FRD, Tony Verona resigned voluntarily and said,
- 15:24Speaker 2: fuck you guys, I'm going home. Doctor Murro Cardono was
- 15:27Speaker 2: a former Havana jurist who broke with Castro after serving
- 15:30Speaker 2: him as his first prime minister. Now right before the
- 15:35Speaker 2: Bay of Pigs invasion, the Cuban Revolutionary Council was formed
- 15:38Speaker 2: to coordinate and direct FRD activities with US government support.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Ie CIA funded basically much like we know the CIA
- 15:51Speaker 2: funded the DRE folks, like to the tune of a
- 15:55Speaker 2: lot of money a month. They were doing the same
- 15:59Speaker 2: thing with the r C. Well we'll get there, I promise.
- 16:06Speaker 2: All the groups within the CRC maintained their separate identities,
- 16:09Speaker 2: the leaders expressing publicly their unity, especially during the period
- 16:13Speaker 2: prior to the planned invasion. The regrouping included the following
- 16:17Speaker 2: Cuban exile leaders doctor Jose Miro Cardona, Board of Directors,
- 16:22Speaker 2: Tony Verona, Housteau Carrillo, Carlos Savella, Antonio Masseo, Manual Ray,
- 16:30Speaker 2: and Manual Artemate. CRC committees were organized in key cities
- 16:34Speaker 2: in the United States and delegations appointed in Latin American countries.
- 16:39Speaker 2: So this place, you know, the CIA is following a
- 16:43Speaker 2: plan that they have when it comes to funding these
- 16:49Speaker 2: anti Castro Cuban organizations, and they're following a blueprint, you
- 16:54Speaker 2: know where they're having these groups scattered all throughout the
- 16:58Speaker 2: United States, or at least delegates of them, and putting
- 17:03Speaker 2: them up in key major cities and also disrupting things
- 17:07Speaker 2: in Latin American countries and all over the world. In
- 17:10Speaker 2: some cases. The failure of the Bay of Pigs invasion
- 17:15Speaker 2: resulted in Castros capture and imprisonment of over one thousand
- 17:21Speaker 2: of the almost fifteen hundred Brigades members, which pretty much
- 17:26Speaker 2: wiped him out.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Yeah, he was ready for them, for sure, he was.
- 17:34Speaker 4: He was.
- 17:35Speaker 2: The dejected leaders of the CRC, who had been sequestered
- 17:39Speaker 2: for security reasons at the start of the invasion were
- 17:45Speaker 2: later taken to the White House for a personal visit
- 17:47Speaker 2: with President Kennedy, who expressed his regret and assumed responsibility
- 17:52Speaker 2: for the invasion failure. So that's pretty crazy to me
- 18:00Speaker 2: that they invited the dejected leaders to the White House
- 18:03Speaker 2: to meet with Kennedy, and Kennedy told them blatantly to
- 18:05Speaker 2: their face, my bad, folks. Sorry, I fucked up. I
- 18:11Speaker 2: know a lot of people died and got captured, but
- 18:13Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 18:15Speaker 4: All right. But did he actually because he never really
- 18:18Speaker 4: committed to having air support or he was just being
- 18:23Speaker 4: the bigger man and taking responsibility.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I think he took responsibility, and part of that is
- 18:29Speaker 2: that he didn't send their support. So Shortly after the
- 18:34Speaker 2: unsuccessful invasion, Manuel Ray withdrew his organization, the MRP, from
- 18:39Speaker 2: the Council, and by October sixty one, the CRCA completely
- 18:44Speaker 2: absorbed the FRD. Cordona remained at the Helm, which had
- 18:48Speaker 2: been enlarged to include the Revolutionary Action and a faction
- 18:51Speaker 2: of the thirtieth of November Movement. While some unification had
- 18:55Speaker 2: been achieved, the Cuban exile groups were plagued by factionalism
- 19:00Speaker 2: personal rivalries for leadership roles in conflicting programs. Nevertheless, the
- 19:06Speaker 2: crc was still considered the principal unifying organization of the
- 19:09Speaker 2: Cuban exile community, although no anti Castro leader emerged who
- 19:13Speaker 2: could command broad support of the community. After the Missile Crisis,
- 19:19Speaker 2: the policy of the United States toward Castro Regine changed drastically.
- 19:24Speaker 2: In his book The Losers, Paul Bethel, former press attache
- 19:28Speaker 2: at the Havana Embassy, noted, there is no doubt that
- 19:31Speaker 2: Kennedy and his brother consciously set about to the business
- 19:35Speaker 2: of stopping all efforts to unhorse Fidel Castro from outside
- 19:39Speaker 2: exile attacks and from Cuba's internal resistance movements. So there
- 19:44Speaker 2: was a drastic change after the Missile crisis when it
- 19:48Speaker 2: came to overtly trying to remove Castro from power. Right,
- 19:56Speaker 2: you know, they set up the h what was it
- 20:01Speaker 2: called when they they forbade people from going off in
- 20:06Speaker 2: the country. Oh, it was the UH.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Could continue to County or something, right.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Something like that. And yeah, because a lot of these
- 20:18Speaker 2: anti Castro Cubans and exiles and guerrilla fighters and freedom fighters,
- 20:24Speaker 2: they were charged with it Neutrality Act, that's what it is.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Bam mhmm. Yeah, that was that was the Kennedy's tool
- 20:32Speaker 2: to try to control these people, is hit them with
- 20:34Speaker 2: the Neutrality Act. Yes, Norman, it was right there, right there,
- 20:41Speaker 2: and I dug it out. Baby. Uh let's see, so
- 20:48Speaker 2: let's I didn't need to read the whole damn thing here.
- 20:51Speaker 2: But uh, here's where it gets interesting. The CRC was
- 20:56Speaker 2: revamped and doctor Antonio Say elected president. Although Tony Verona
- 21:02Speaker 2: was still a dominating force in the organization. Government funds
- 21:07Speaker 2: to the CRC were cut off Joe on May one,
- 21:10Speaker 2: sixty three and can no longer support its Latin American delegates.
- 21:15Speaker 2: So while funding was still going to the DRE at
- 21:20Speaker 2: this time, the CRC had been cut off in May
- 21:23Speaker 2: of sixty three. Which keep in mind here, when we
- 21:29Speaker 2: look at the folks who were associated with the CRC,
- 21:34Speaker 2: one could see why a lot of these people could
- 21:39Speaker 2: be considered suspects. Okay, but we'll get there, I promise.
- 21:47Speaker 4: And they went to funding, uh, went for funding to
- 21:52Speaker 4: other people, possibly, yes, possibly mafia.
- 22:01Speaker 6: But.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Pretty much the CRC was pretty much dunski. You know,
- 22:08Speaker 2: by the time, probably right around the time that Lee
- 22:12Speaker 2: Harvey Oswol was starting up his Fair Play for Cuba
- 22:15Speaker 2: Committee in New Orleans, you know, summer sixty three. Basically
- 22:22Speaker 2: the credibility of the CRC then took a severe blow.
- 22:25Speaker 2: In June, the Miami News revealed that a highly publicized
- 22:29Speaker 2: commando rate on Cuba purportedly on June twenty first, was
- 22:32Speaker 2: actually a hoax. According to the newspaper, although Doctor Marseo
- 22:37Speaker 2: did not say it, sources related the proposed landing of
- 22:40Speaker 2: up to three thousand commandos was a fraud that ballooned
- 22:44Speaker 2: with a tacit consent of other publicly minded CRC members.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Following the revelations, Doctor Marceo resigned as president of the
- 22:53Speaker 2: CRC and was succeeded by Tony Verona. Okay, now you
- 23:00Speaker 2: watched our our presentation that we did back in November.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Tony Verona factors highly into Santos traffic conte ship that
- 23:12Speaker 2: was going on with other folks in New Orleans. Very interesting, dude.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Yeah, and I believe I believe he is going to
- 23:26Speaker 4: be highly featured in the next two chapters of the
- 23:32Speaker 4: Oswald Puzzle. Yes, Larry and David hinted on our show.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Now to further lay the groundwork here for the CRC,
- 23:40Speaker 2: we move over here, we'll go to the middle here
- 23:50Speaker 2: with CIA funds. Two public relations firms were hired Lynn
- 23:55Speaker 2: Jones Associates in New York, Abrams Osbourne in Miami. These
- 24:00Speaker 2: firms issued statement signed by the CRC, although they had
- 24:03Speaker 2: been written by the CIA, and after the October missile crisis,
- 24:07Speaker 2: the Kennedy administration withdrew much of his support from the
- 24:09Speaker 2: CRC and other militant exile groups. However, the CIA continued
- 24:14Speaker 2: to provide the CRC with Do the math, Joe, one
- 24:18Speaker 2: hundred and thirty seven thousand dollars a month.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Over one point three mil.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Yeah, say, at one point five million a year, that's
- 24:30Speaker 2: a lot of money in nineteen sixty three per month. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
- 24:40Speaker 2: In April sixty three, Cardona resigned, claiming Kennedy had chosen
- 24:44Speaker 2: the path of peaceful coexisting with the Castro's government. He
- 24:48Speaker 2: felt the US had become a victim of a master
- 24:50Speaker 2: played by the Russians and angrily stated that the struggle
- 24:53Speaker 2: for Cuba is in the process of being liquidated by
- 24:55Speaker 2: the government. You see how pissed off these anti Castro
- 24:59Speaker 2: Cubans are, Joe. They are talking mad shit about Kennedy
- 25:04Speaker 2: at this point because they think he's a giant pussy Yeah,
- 25:10Speaker 2: and he won't let them do their thing, right, Yeah,
- 25:16Speaker 2: you know, they these these anti Castro Cubans don't realize,
- 25:19Speaker 2: you know, you keep fucking around. The Russians are in
- 25:23Speaker 2: Cuba now with nuclear weapons pointed at its sixty miles
- 25:27Speaker 2: off our shore. You can't fuck around with them. But
- 25:32Speaker 2: these guys, these pissed off exiles, still think that they're
- 25:36Speaker 2: going to show up on the shore and a fucking
- 25:40Speaker 2: dinghy with a knife and a thirty year old World
- 25:43Speaker 2: War two rifle and somehow kill Castro and over through the.
- 25:47Speaker 4: Government, right right, yeah, and you know, take out guard
- 25:54Speaker 4: posts and all these little things that we're trying.
- 25:58Speaker 2: So you see there's a at that time, the government
- 26:02Speaker 2: had a giant problem on its hands. They're funding the ship.
- 26:05Speaker 2: The CIA is funding the ship out of these anti
- 26:10Speaker 2: Castro groups to the tune of a ton of money
- 26:14Speaker 2: a month. All of these groups have operations like operations
- 26:21Speaker 2: divisions like the d r A, the c r C
- 26:23Speaker 2: where they you know, they're funding operations.
- 26:26Speaker 4: And training right the military applies, that's where a lot
- 26:30Speaker 4: of this money is going.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Yeah, so you can understand the dichotomy where part of
- 26:37Speaker 2: our government is giving these groups money to fund and
- 26:41Speaker 2: do all this ship, but then another part of the
- 26:44Speaker 2: government is saying no, no, no, nay nay, you even
- 26:48Speaker 2: go off the shore, We're going to rescue for violation
- 26:50Speaker 2: and Neutrality Act and put you in jail.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Right, right, and and and and especially FBI versus c I.
- 26:59Speaker 4: A Hey in particular, right, FBI was trying to keep
- 27:03Speaker 4: all these people in county, and and the CIA was
- 27:07Speaker 4: kind of funding them too.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Right.
- 27:09Speaker 4: So there's interagency conflict like we talk about all the
- 27:12Speaker 4: time as well.
- 27:14Speaker 2: And why is this important, Joe, Because in nineteen sixty
- 27:17Speaker 2: one through nineteen sixty two, the New Orleans Chapter of
- 27:20Speaker 2: the CRC occupied in office in the Newman Building at
- 27:23Speaker 2: five point forty four Camp Street, the same address it
- 27:27Speaker 2: was stamped on Corlas Lamont's pamphlets that Lee Harvey Oswold
- 27:31Speaker 2: handed out crimes against Cuba. This was the building where
- 27:34Speaker 2: anti Castro activist and accused JFK assassination conspirator Guy Banister
- 27:38Speaker 2: also had his office, which is problem. During this period,
- 27:43Speaker 2: banister associate and good buddy Sergio R. Coustin Smith was
- 27:47Speaker 2: quote much like Carlos Brgia.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Sergio R.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Costin Smith was the quote official delegate for the New
- 27:54Speaker 2: Orleans Chapter of the CRC. Although in the CRC, Joe
- 28:00Speaker 2: was not the only member like Carlos Bringa Okay, CRC
- 28:08Speaker 2: much bigger, much more CIA operatives entrenched within doing dirty business.
- 28:15Speaker 2: That's why I think it's important that we take a
- 28:19Speaker 2: closer look, Joe at some of these members of the CRC.
- 28:25Speaker 2: And while I don't know an official member, okay, but
- 28:34Speaker 2: David Ferry was doing a lot of work with the CRC,
- 28:39Speaker 2: and I mean a lot. He was good friends with
- 28:42Speaker 2: Sergei R. Kasha Smith. He was seeing there with them,
- 28:46Speaker 2: meeting with them, eating with them, hanging with them, training
- 28:50Speaker 2: with them. Right, we know he was around Banister's office
- 28:57Speaker 2: a lot. So that is why we're going to be
- 29:06Speaker 2: taking a closer look at some of this stuff that
- 29:09Speaker 2: people have to stay tonight, because I think that sets
- 29:13Speaker 2: the table pretty good.
- 29:14Speaker 4: Joe, I think so too. And one of the people
- 29:19Speaker 4: who headed the New Orleans CRC was none other than
- 29:26Speaker 4: Francisco Frank Artees.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Right, So Sergio R. Conscious Smith stepped down as the
- 29:36Speaker 2: facto delegate of the CRC, if you will, in nineteen
- 29:41Speaker 2: sixty two, and I don't know if there was any
- 29:46Speaker 2: leadership at all officially in the New Orleans chapter until
- 29:53Speaker 2: nineteen sixty three. I think there may have been there
- 29:58Speaker 2: may have been a peer of time in there where
- 30:02Speaker 2: they were just pretty much running roughshot and doing whatever
- 30:05Speaker 2: they wanted. Now, some prominent members of the New Orleans
- 30:10Speaker 2: chapter of the c RC that you may have heard
- 30:14Speaker 2: of before, again, like Sergio Acasia Smith, like Frank Bartes. Okay,
- 30:19Speaker 2: the Rodriguez is plural, okay, Augustine Guietard, which is Silviodio's uncle. Okay,
- 30:28Speaker 2: carlos Kiroga, maybe you've heard of that guy. Mm hmmm, right,
- 30:34Speaker 2: and many many more which we're going to get into
- 30:36Speaker 2: here tonight. So I was going over this with Joe
- 30:41Speaker 2: the other night, and I'm like, he's like, so, what
- 30:43Speaker 2: do you got? I said, A bunch of shit from
- 30:44Speaker 2: a lot of people you've never heard of?
- 30:46Speaker 4: Right?
- 30:48Speaker 2: Was I lying?
- 30:49Speaker 4: You were not?
- 30:51Speaker 2: I was not?
- 30:52Speaker 4: No, Yeah, go ahead, And I'm sure a lot of
- 30:58Speaker 4: our audience here might not know about them either.
- 31:01Speaker 2: So well, that's why we're here to bring it to
- 31:04Speaker 2: your attention because a lot of people I had never
- 31:09Speaker 2: heard of and don't know who the hell they are.
- 31:12Speaker 2: You know, Yes, that's a problem. Oh I love it.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Yeah I do too.
- 31:24Speaker 4: This is going to be a banger.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Yes, Sergio or Conscious Smiths comes up. A name does
- 31:31Speaker 2: come up frequently. In this case.
- 31:33Speaker 4: He was.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Very much on the radar during the Garrison investigation. I
- 31:39Speaker 2: believe he was. He got the hell out of New
- 31:42Speaker 2: Orleans at some point shortly before Garrison or shortly after
- 31:46Speaker 2: Garrison reopened his investigation, and actually moved to Texas. Dallas
- 31:50Speaker 2: to be specific, which is odd, but okay, not everywhere
- 31:54Speaker 2: you're going to go. Sergio runs to Dallas. Now, of
- 32:01Speaker 2: course they subpoena him to come back to New Orleans.
- 32:03Speaker 2: He says, nah, I'm good. If you want to talk
- 32:06Speaker 2: to me, come to Texas.
- 32:07Speaker 4: So they do.
- 32:09Speaker 2: They do. They go talk to me in Texas. Nothing
- 32:11Speaker 2: ever happens to him. I'll save that one for when
- 32:22Speaker 2: we get to Joe. That's that person we've never heard of,
- 32:26Speaker 2: because it has something to do with what you're going
- 32:27Speaker 2: to talk about, Okay, something about what I'm going to
- 32:32Speaker 2: talk about, okay, ish an interview with Michael jay Finny.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Michael jay Finny somebody you've never heard of. But he
- 32:48Speaker 2: was a good, allegedly good friend of David Ferries.
- 32:54Speaker 4: And was he a good guy?
- 32:57Speaker 2: I don't know that he had not seen David Ferry
- 33:04Speaker 2: though since nineteen sixty three at this time, okay.
- 33:09Speaker 4: At the Garrison, at the time of the Garrison investigation.
- 33:12Speaker 2: No, this is during the HSCA investigation.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Okay, so we haven't seen him in like fifteen years
- 33:17Speaker 4: or Yeah.
- 33:18Speaker 2: They were calling through the the old French quarter there,
- 33:22Speaker 2: turning up a whole bunch of kafuzes.
- 33:26Speaker 4: There's not a lack of them there, that's for sure. Yeah.
- 33:29Speaker 2: But this guy either was a friend or knew very well,
- 33:35Speaker 2: if you know what I'm saying, Michael Finney. He says
- 33:42Speaker 2: that he hasn't seen Dave Ferry since nineteen sixty three,
- 33:45Speaker 2: although I'm sure he knew he died in sixty seven. What, Joe,
- 33:50Speaker 2: what are you looking for?
- 33:52Speaker 4: Just as the guy's name and what's coming, I don't
- 33:56Speaker 4: know what's coming, but I know it's gonna be funny.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Yes, Fairry knows what's coming. A whole lot of that
- 34:11Speaker 2: out the window. Okay.
- 34:15Speaker 4: Uh.
- 34:17Speaker 2: In the course of speaking and spending time with David Ferry,
- 34:22Speaker 2: he had told Michael Finney that he had admired President
- 34:25Speaker 2: Kennedy until until the Bay of Pigs happened. Then Fairies
- 34:37Speaker 2: Ideology did a one to eighty, he said after that
- 34:42Speaker 2: he was very vehemently anti Kennedy. Fairy was an intelligent man, okay,
- 34:51Speaker 2: which he was. We've heard him talk. Yeah, and fun
- 34:56Speaker 2: to be around. Yeah, depending on who you are, I reckon.
- 35:02Speaker 4: Because I would I would have hung out with him,
- 35:05Speaker 4: not in that way, but I'm sure I would have
- 35:09Speaker 4: had some good laughs.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Oh and where's that picture of Joe on his knees
- 35:14Speaker 2: a boy?
- 35:16Speaker 4: Oh no, don't do it. Don't do it, don't do it,
- 35:20Speaker 4: don't do it.
- 35:21Speaker 2: All right, we'll save that for remembers.
- 35:23Speaker 4: Yeah, save that for remembers.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Okay, fine, Yes, father Fairy, forgive me for my sins.
- 35:33Speaker 7: Uh m hm, oh man, Young Joseph, I'm going to
- 35:44Speaker 7: need to see you back in the directory after this.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Yes, it's a picture of my confirmation sponsor.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Were you in the picture, like eleven, twelve or thirteen?
- 35:56Speaker 4: I believe?
- 35:57Speaker 6: Yeah, smooth, young boy. Yeah, David Fairry's favor. H okay, yeah,
- 36:09Speaker 6: tune next week from Yeah, become a member. Become a member.
- 36:13Speaker 2: If you'd like this again, trust me, you won't want
- 36:15Speaker 2: to miss this picture.
- 36:16Speaker 4: It's good, oh boy?
- 36:19Speaker 2: Uh, yes, very fun to be around because he was
- 36:24Speaker 2: doing things that were exciting Joe, such as dropping people
- 36:28Speaker 2: by parachute into Cuba to cause trouble. So during the
- 36:33Speaker 2: time that David Faery is highly involved with the CRC,
- 36:38Speaker 2: he is flying to Cuba, taking them supplies, guns, and
- 36:44Speaker 2: even dropping motherfuckers out of his plane his Cessna. Yeah,
- 36:50Speaker 2: for to infiltrate or just say welcome home. I don't know.
- 36:57Speaker 4: Yeah, and little known fact as your boy had his
- 37:03Speaker 4: Sesna solo license before he had his driver's license.
- 37:11Speaker 2: I used to David Ferry, Yeah, a kreamas and young guy,
- 37:23Speaker 2: I love it, but.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Yeah, I did used to flysas Cessna's seventy nice small,
- 37:33Speaker 4: small small planes.
- 37:37Speaker 2: You could have dropped some supplies in Cuba and he
- 37:40Speaker 2: kept flying and made it back.
- 37:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I think so. Definitely, at least pamphlets, pamphlets let
- 37:49Speaker 4: you go.
- 37:54Speaker 5: Uh.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Fairy had a simple plan that he said would eventually
- 37:59Speaker 2: over throw Castro. Ready for this plan of David Ferries,
- 38:04Speaker 2: I am. The plan would go something like this. People
- 38:13Speaker 2: would wear certain color shirts or jackets on certain days
- 38:18Speaker 2: and taking part in certain acts of sabotage depending on
- 38:21Speaker 2: the color of their shirt or jacket against places like
- 38:24Speaker 2: electric companies and water works, et cetera. The infrastructure of Cuba.
- 38:30Speaker 2: So call it a half baked plan if you will.
- 38:34Speaker 2: But everybody with red shirts on a Tuesday is going
- 38:39Speaker 2: to fuck with any kind of you know, electric electrical
- 38:45Speaker 2: telephone poles or you know stations, transfer stations, you know,
- 38:51Speaker 2: blow shit up basically the water works. You know, put
- 38:55Speaker 2: yourself back in back in the stone age, you know,
- 38:57Speaker 2: just kill your own country's water supply and electricity, you know,
- 39:02Speaker 2: so you can go home and have to shit in
- 39:03Speaker 2: a bucket, which they may have been doing before that anyway,
- 39:06Speaker 2: who knows.
- 39:07Speaker 4: Yeah, no, but you're right, attacking infrastructure was definitely.
- 39:13Speaker 2: A goal, right, But he's already thinking clan destinedly, like,
- 39:18Speaker 2: how can we do is you know, without people knowing.
- 39:21Speaker 2: I mean, it's not a great plan, but it's a plan.
- 39:25Speaker 2: You know, everybody with green shirts attacked the water works.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Everybody with red shirts on a Wednesday, you attack the
- 39:30Speaker 2: electrical shit, you know. Everybody wearing yellow on Friday you
- 39:35Speaker 2: burn the sugar fields, you know, like, I don't know,
- 39:38Speaker 2: it's a plank.
- 39:40Speaker 4: Everyone in pink show up at my apartment on Saturday.
- 39:45Speaker 2: See on Louisiana Parkway Sunday.
- 39:50Speaker 4: Oh man, we are having fun. We are having fun tonight, sir.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Oh. By the way, another prominent member of the CRC, Joe,
- 40:00Speaker 2: what was somebody by the name of ors Pagana who
- 40:03Speaker 2: we've been talking the shit out of for the past
- 40:05Speaker 2: couple of weeks.
- 40:08Speaker 4: Uh.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Ferry met with Oris Pania and possibly are conscious Smith
- 40:12Speaker 2: at the Lakefront Airport. Remember Fairy taught Orris Penia says
- 40:16Speaker 2: that very taught Paynia how to fly Cessna. Then he
- 40:20Speaker 2: was in the cockpit with this dude for like fourteen hours,
- 40:23Speaker 2: you know, over the course of lessons. Right, So this
- 40:27Speaker 2: is Michael Finney. Whoever the fuck this guy is corroborating
- 40:31Speaker 2: Orris Pania of all people. Now, it promised them that
- 40:43Speaker 2: they the squadron would train fighters against Castro after the
- 40:47Speaker 2: Bay of Pigs. And before the Bay of Pigs, this
- 40:51Speaker 2: activity went on, meaning training camps close to New Orleans
- 40:55Speaker 2: like Lake Ponta Train and others. Faerry had a light
- 41:01Speaker 2: observation plane rebuilt in the rear of a business on
- 41:05Speaker 2: an airline highway and it was fliable. Finney City flew
- 41:09Speaker 2: in it. This is the plane that O'Sullivan was looking
- 41:13Speaker 2: for when he testified to the Warrant Commission that Faery's
- 41:18Speaker 2: plane was not fliable during sixty three, but it was
- 41:22Speaker 2: investigations to be able to prove that this plane was
- 41:24Speaker 2: available to Ferry. Another plan that Fairy had was to
- 41:29Speaker 2: use a sub submersible vehicle. There would be battery powered
- 41:35Speaker 2: and take two men, okay, at least sixty miles to Cuba.
- 41:41Speaker 2: After that it would end up on the ocean floor
- 41:48Speaker 2: in like a coke can.
- 41:50Speaker 4: Like that's submiserable that went down to the Titanic.
- 41:54Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 41:58Speaker 2: But yeah, if you think I'm getting in a sub
- 42:01Speaker 2: that ain't really a sub that might have been built
- 42:03Speaker 2: by David Fairry, you are fucking crazy. Yeah, especially with
- 42:09Speaker 2: David Fairy, because if that suction didn't kill you, the
- 42:13Speaker 2: other one might if you get my drift, imagine being
- 42:19Speaker 2: tracking the sub with David Fairy.
- 42:21Speaker 4: Jesus, would you do it just for the stories? No? No, no,
- 42:31Speaker 4: you could take him.
- 42:33Speaker 2: I could take him, but I can't drive a sub.
- 42:35Speaker 4: No, but.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Look too fuck around. Maybe it might be in my twenties,
- 42:43Speaker 2: but Rob the Triple Big Bad Bob is not getting
- 42:46Speaker 2: on a fucking sub. I don't care if it's twenty
- 42:50Speaker 2: thousand feet long, nuclear powered, whatever the fuck? Fancy shit
- 42:53Speaker 2: they got going on right now. Mh no, that's like
- 42:58Speaker 2: top fear. I hate the ocean. You put me in
- 43:02Speaker 2: a fucking box I can't get out of. At the
- 43:04Speaker 2: bottom of it, I am I'm Looney Tunes bro stick
- 43:09Speaker 2: for me because I'm done. I'm killing everybody on that motherfucker.
- 43:12Speaker 4: I didn't know you hate hated the ocean.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like that. I don't like being in water.
- 43:17Speaker 2: I can't see the bottom in it. I don't like
- 43:20Speaker 2: weird ship brushing up against my leg or stepping on
- 43:22Speaker 2: a fucking crab or no. No, I'm good.
- 43:31Speaker 4: Slacker Dan with maybe the comment of the night so far, Scott,
- 43:38Speaker 4: you're gonna have someone off.
- 43:39Speaker 2: That much like much like an armpit. The cockpit is
- 43:44Speaker 2: that area right beside the inner thigh and balls.
- 43:54Speaker 4: And also notable, also notable, Rob is that you bring
- 43:59Speaker 4: was part of the CRC until I believe I think
- 44:04Speaker 4: it was June sixty two, and then he switched to
- 44:07Speaker 4: the DRE which I think was it, which I think
- 44:10Speaker 4: was the time that around the time the funding got
- 44:13Speaker 4: caught off.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it was the time when Sergio kind of quit
- 44:16Speaker 2: being the head guy and they just kind of not disbanded,
- 44:20Speaker 2: but just dissolved a little bit, if you will, into
- 44:24Speaker 2: something not as formal as they used to be. And
- 44:27Speaker 2: then the guys, some of them went and did their
- 44:29Speaker 2: own shit, some went independent, some hung around, still met
- 44:34Speaker 2: unofficially in people's houses and shit like that. So again
- 44:41Speaker 2: we have Ferry back in the sub. There would be
- 44:44Speaker 2: battery powered. Yeah, okay, the men would have to wear Joe,
- 44:47Speaker 2: you have to wear this according to Fairy skin diving gear,
- 44:54Speaker 2: so that means skin tight. You could only wear a snorkel, okay,
- 45:01Speaker 2: a pair of speedos.
- 45:03Speaker 4: What's a snorkel gonna do?
- 45:06Speaker 2: It's skin diving gear. Bro. You had to have flippers,
- 45:10Speaker 2: a speedo and a snorkel. That's all you could wear
- 45:12Speaker 2: in David Fairry's sub. Okay, Okay, it's for ease of
- 45:17Speaker 2: access purposes. David Fairry doesn't want you coming up for
- 45:21Speaker 2: air very often. You need a snorkel. Oh lord.
- 45:30Speaker 4: Uh.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Then he didn't know what they would attack with this sub.
- 45:37Speaker 2: He worked on the submissible and he tested the electric
- 45:40Speaker 2: motor and gears himself. So this is actually something that
- 45:44Speaker 2: David Faerry is trying to do. He's building a fucking sub.
- 45:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean however crazy an idea was he was
- 45:58Speaker 4: committed to the collas, that's for sure.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Wow, Finny stated that that's that. All This was happening
- 46:05Speaker 2: very fast, and they had about thirty members when the
- 46:10Speaker 2: parents started to upset. So I don't know what kind
- 46:17Speaker 2: of club Finny was in with Ferry, but apparently there was,
- 46:24Speaker 2: oh my god, thirty members whose parents started that they
- 46:29Speaker 2: were spending a little too much.
- 46:30Speaker 4: Time with their sons, which indicates that they are miners.
- 46:36Speaker 2: But we'll get there. At the time, Finny was only
- 46:40Speaker 2: sixteen years old, and he couldn't understand what upset them
- 46:47Speaker 2: so much. You know, just sixteen, We're hanging out.
- 46:52Speaker 4: With the Dave Fairy, you know what I mean, going
- 46:54Speaker 4: in this man made.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Wearing skin diving outfits.
- 47:00Speaker 4: What's the problem. Yeah, they really are Trey.
- 47:07Speaker 2: And so Finny went home and told his parents about
- 47:12Speaker 2: bombing Cuba. Oh why would you do that? Why would
- 47:20Speaker 2: you do that? You gotta know that's not gonna go over.
- 47:25Speaker 2: You know, you just come home from building a sub
- 47:27Speaker 2: all day with David Ferry and you sit down at
- 47:29Speaker 2: the family dinner table. You say, he said, what did
- 47:32Speaker 2: you do today?
- 47:33Speaker 4: Oh?
- 47:33Speaker 2: Well, you know, I skipped school today. You know, I
- 47:37Speaker 2: got I got to build a sub over Dave's house.
- 47:39Speaker 2: We're gonna go bomb Cuba in it. And the parents
- 47:42Speaker 2: are like mortified, like what the fuck? He says he
- 47:49Speaker 2: was bewildered by their response. So the parents checked out
- 47:54Speaker 2: this squadron and found out that it was not chartered
- 47:58Speaker 2: or sanctioned by the c A, and kids had to
- 48:01Speaker 2: drop out. Finny can now understand, looking back through the
- 48:07Speaker 2: eyes of an adult, how this must have upset people
- 48:13Speaker 2: that knew all the implications of what the squadron was planning.
- 48:17Speaker 2: He felt that they would carry out their plan until
- 48:20Speaker 2: the heat came down from the parents. So Ferry had
- 48:23Speaker 2: these kids convinced that they were going to be part
- 48:27Speaker 2: of invading Cuba, right, Okay, we call that child labor now,
- 48:34Speaker 2: you know, hey, free free child labor. Come on, boys,
- 48:37Speaker 2: come on back to come on back to the crib.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Benny feels that he might have seen Lee Harvey Oswald
- 48:47Speaker 2: at an encampment of the Falcons north of the lake
- 48:53Speaker 2: during an encampment sometime in nineteen sixty three when it
- 49:01Speaker 2: was real cold out Whenever the hell that may have
- 49:05Speaker 2: been had to be. I doubt it was cold in August,
- 49:13Speaker 2: in July and June in May. Maybe early May had
- 49:18Speaker 2: to be spring, right, had to be early early in
- 49:22Speaker 2: November or October. That we don't know about.
- 49:25Speaker 4: No, early winter, January, February, March. Yeah, you think, let's see.
- 49:33Speaker 2: He then thought a moment and said that it actually
- 49:35Speaker 2: might have been in nineteen sixty one when he saw
- 49:38Speaker 2: the Harvey oswell, not sixty.
- 49:40Speaker 4: Three, which of course it's a problem. That's a problem. Yeah.
- 49:49Speaker 4: He did not get back until June of nineteen sixty two.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Finnaden says he went to fairies parties occasionally at sixteen
- 50:01Speaker 2: and thinks that he met Clay Shaw at one of these,
- 50:04Speaker 2: but he's not sure.
- 50:07Speaker 4: Hm.
- 50:12Speaker 2: So that is Michael Finney's HSCA interview, and that's only
- 50:20Speaker 2: one page of it. It's one of these incomplete things
- 50:23Speaker 2: that Malcolm Blunt found, uh, you know, raiding the archives
- 50:28Speaker 2: at some point.
- 50:30Speaker 4: Wow.
- 50:30Speaker 2: When I read you was page two of the interview
- 50:33Speaker 2: with Michael Finni. We don't have page three or one
- 50:36Speaker 2: or however long this thing is. This is one page
- 50:38Speaker 2: from Michael Finny. Okay, and we got all that, Yeah,
- 50:46Speaker 2: crazy oy cavaultagavlta. It's right next we have an interview
- 50:53Speaker 2: with George Bosh again, same thing and incomplete interview. I
- 51:00Speaker 2: have page two, So if there's page two, there must
- 51:04Speaker 2: be a page one, and it's labeled incomplete, which means
- 51:10Speaker 2: there must be more than two pages.
- 51:12Speaker 4: So but.
- 51:15Speaker 2: What goes we got here on page two? Okay again,
- 51:20Speaker 2: George Bosh, Joe you never heard of him?
- 51:23Speaker 4: No, it's not spelled the same as Orlando. Oh right, right,
- 51:30Speaker 4: no relation, just.
- 51:32Speaker 2: I mean it might be Bouche bo Yeah.
- 51:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm just just to make it clear for our audience.
- 51:40Speaker 2: S h. However, you say that in Louisiana and.
- 51:44Speaker 4: M hm uh Cherry help us there.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Bouche was interested in flying and this brought him in
- 51:51Speaker 2: contact with Faery. Fairy had hair when he first met him.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Why why later he saw Fairy and Fairy was bald
- 52:05Speaker 2: because of some type of accident. He thinks some kind
- 52:10Speaker 2: of aircraft anti freeze had dripped on his head and
- 52:14Speaker 2: melted his hair, his fucking head?
- 52:21Speaker 4: What this is his goald? What? What?
- 52:28Speaker 2: I guess he was working on airplane with Dave Ferry
- 52:30Speaker 2: one time and he saw anti freeze drip on his head,
- 52:32Speaker 2: and he thinks that that's what made him bald Okay,
- 52:37Speaker 2: Fairy flew many of the cadets around the New Orleans
- 52:40Speaker 2: lake front, if you know what I'm saying. Bouche once
- 52:45Speaker 2: flew with him over Ay Seminary Seminary Seminary north of
- 52:50Speaker 2: Lake ponta train, and Ferry mentioned that he was either
- 52:54Speaker 2: a priest at one time or that he had studied
- 52:57Speaker 2: for the priesthood. You know, Joel, Uh, I used to
- 53:02Speaker 2: be a priest, a man of God if you will,
- 53:07Speaker 2: would you like?
- 53:09Speaker 4: Until they kicked me out.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Bouche thought that he might have indicated Ferry had his
- 53:16Speaker 2: own plane at the time and was doing well. Ferry
- 53:20Speaker 2: was very intelligent. Again, this is another guy saying this.
- 53:25Speaker 4: Yeah, there's no doubt he was extremely intelligent, extremely.
- 53:31Speaker 2: And to Bouche's knowledge, to Bouch's knowledge, he never had
- 53:42Speaker 2: any tendencies towards homosexuality.
- 53:47Speaker 4: He must have not been his type.
- 53:50Speaker 2: Yeah, he must have been ugly. George must have been fugly,
- 53:53Speaker 2: ugly boy.
- 53:56Speaker 4: Uh.
- 54:00Speaker 2: But again, if you heard, if you if you've ever
- 54:02Speaker 2: heard Fairy talk for real, he doesn't sound like a mamo,
- 54:06Speaker 2: you know, like he's not overly flamboyantly gay, right, he
- 54:11Speaker 2: looks like a normal dude. Well, I take that back. Uh,
- 54:16Speaker 2: he talks like a normal dude.
- 54:17Speaker 4: No, he has like a deep voice, nothing like how
- 54:21Speaker 4: he was portrayed by Joe Pesci and nothing.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Yeah. So George was surprised to learn later from others
- 54:32Speaker 2: that David Ferry had drinking parties at his house. So
- 54:37Speaker 2: George must have not been invited to the drinking parties.
- 54:40Speaker 4: Jill told you he wasn't his type, the.
- 54:43Speaker 2: Original P Diddy boy d Faerry P Diddy.
- 54:48Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, what's up, Timothy, Ryan, how are you?
- 55:01Speaker 2: We're just having a little fun here, Timothy.
- 55:03Speaker 4: Yeah, you'll have to go back for some laughs.
- 55:07Speaker 2: Oh yeah, well they're not over, so stick around. Let's see.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Bousche left the Cap around fifty six or fifty seven
- 55:18Speaker 2: and did not hear of any of these Cuban issues
- 55:20Speaker 2: or Fairiy's troubles with the airlines until much later. Bousch
- 55:25Speaker 2: remembers Fairry as a decent sort of guy. The decent
- 55:31Speaker 2: sort of guy there was mostly interested in flying and
- 55:35Speaker 2: teaching flying to kids.
- 55:38Speaker 4: Right, and of course kids. Fifty six fifty seven is
- 55:43Speaker 4: way before the Cuban drama, right, I mean, cashtro Batista
- 55:48Speaker 4: was still power at that point.
- 55:50Speaker 2: Yeah, sit right here in between my legs and grab
- 55:52Speaker 2: this stick here, young junior, Now pull back on the stick.
- 56:02Speaker 2: Put your feet right here on my feet. These are
- 56:05Speaker 2: your petals. These are your rent of pedals you know.
- 56:07Speaker 4: Well, actually rob a lot of the cessnas that I
- 56:10Speaker 4: flew they had. There were two seats in the in
- 56:16Speaker 4: the sestos and both had petals and.
- 56:23Speaker 2: Paddles. Yeah, and.
- 56:27Speaker 4: Uh, what's the fucking thing you drive with? I'm biking
- 56:29Speaker 4: on the name shool. Yeah. Uh so as I was
- 56:33Speaker 4: being trained like the the lady that did it at
- 56:38Speaker 4: the time could take over if necessary, right, and she
- 56:41Speaker 4: would say, get your foot of shit, you know, the
- 56:44Speaker 4: petals on the handles, the wheel or the pedal. Yeah, so.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Yes, needless say, there's a lot of grabbing going on
- 56:55Speaker 2: in the sestna of petals and paddles and sticks.
- 56:57Speaker 4: It's very yeah, it's very close.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Fairry and Bouche went to the squadron to help them
- 57:09Speaker 2: get started with the cat program. Ferry did not like
- 57:12Speaker 2: the idea of girls learning anything about flying. Those bitches
- 57:18Speaker 2: is grounded. No girls allowed here in this club.
- 57:24Speaker 4: He might have been, he might have been ahead of
- 57:26Speaker 4: the game on that one.
- 57:29Speaker 2: He was even against them being in the Civil Air
- 57:31Speaker 2: Patrol and against them being in the Girl Scouts apparently.
- 57:39Speaker 4: Right, and again this is nineteen fifties, so.
- 57:42Speaker 2: Yeah, uh. Bouche went to the squadron meetings for two
- 57:50Speaker 2: or three months and remember seeing Lee Harvey Oswald there.
- 57:53Speaker 2: He can remember because there were there were only twelve
- 57:56Speaker 2: or so people at those meetings as opposed to sometimes
- 57:59Speaker 2: sixty years seventy at the Lakefront. Bush did not have
- 58:03Speaker 2: any social contact with Oswald, but remembers him as quiet, timid,
- 58:09Speaker 2: if you will. He remembers others by faces, but cannot
- 58:14Speaker 2: put names on them because they did not gain the
- 58:15Speaker 2: note of ride that Oswald did. Of course, he cannot
- 58:20Speaker 2: place Oswald and Ferry together at any other place other
- 58:22Speaker 2: than those meetings. But again remember George Bouch ugly not
- 58:27Speaker 2: invited to the parties. Okay, Bouch last saw Fairy when
- 58:35Speaker 2: he George Bouch was driving a bus. Ferry was handing
- 58:44Speaker 2: out leafless on Canal Street and Elk's place, and he
- 58:49Speaker 2: waved to Bouche after seeing him. Busch didn't know what
- 58:54Speaker 2: the leafless were about, but later saw a television that
- 58:56Speaker 2: this group were handing out leaflets about Cuba. He cannot
- 59:01Speaker 2: remember if they were around the same time as Oswald
- 59:04Speaker 2: was arrested. Why is this Does this sound familiar to you,
- 59:08Speaker 2: Joe or am I having a deja vu moment?
- 59:10Speaker 1: No?
- 59:11Speaker 4: It doesn't know. Hey, hey, christ And you've got gifted membership.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Other way, yeah you did, thank Yeah and Christa send
- 59:28Speaker 2: me an email at the Lonecoming Podcast at gmail dot com.
- 59:31Speaker 2: I have a theme song for your podcast to share
- 59:36Speaker 2: with you.
- 59:37Speaker 4: WHOA.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't want to make you put your email
- 59:40Speaker 2: in the chat, so send send one to me and
- 59:42Speaker 2: I'll send it back to you. Let's see here. Bouche
- 59:48Speaker 2: stated that he never visited Ferry's apartment on Atherton Drive
- 59:52Speaker 2: or on Louisiana Parkway. He has no knowledge of the
- 59:55Speaker 2: parties that went on there. Again, because he was ugly,
- 59:59Speaker 2: very buck teeth, he suggested to follow he might be
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: able to help us one James Llewellyn from Dave's hometown.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Check him out. Jean Sherlac, a radio man whose family
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: owns the Fern Crest Day Children's School. If you want
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: to know more about Dave Ferry, apparently Jesus Christ Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: all right, Joe. Next up, we got some contact with
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: do I have. I don't know what we got going
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: on here. Okay, hsca outside contact report with a mister
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: John Irene.
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: Yes, another person I have not heard about. Yes, I
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: r io n yes correct.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Yes, not to be confused with Jeremy Irons. John Ireon.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Investigators Bob Burris and Lawrence Larry Delsa met with mister
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: Irion at his home and continued the interview from October
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: seventy eight with photos and information pertaining to five thirty
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: one Lafayette Street, otherwise known as the Office of Guy
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Banister Joe and photos pretending to Sweet Dave Ferry during
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: his cap days and in the later period sixty through
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: sixty four in New Orleans. Mister Irion stated that he
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: saw Ferry last during the beginning of the Garrison investigation
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: at Fairi's Louisiana Avenue apartment. Okay, so this is a
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: fairly recent hanging out with Ferry. He said. Ferry was
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: very depressed, very paranoid, and very sickly looking. Ferry said
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: that the investigation was driving him crazy. He said that
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: he didn't know Lee Harvey Oswald, damn it, and that
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: he'd never known to Clay Shaw. This conversation occurred sometime
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: in nineteen and sixty six. Mister Irion stated that he
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: always liked and still liked Dave Ferry to this day.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: In nineteen seventy eight, he but but he would tell
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: investigators anything that he remembered with the hope that it
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: would help lay the matter to rest. Okay, So this
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: guy went to the parties at Louisiana Avenue Parkway. Loved
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: him some, Dave Fairy, and still did fifteen years later,
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: after nineteen sixty three. But he'd helped him out. Uh So,
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: let's get to this interview with John Irion.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: James says, this is the sickest, most disgusting, greatest longe
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: governing podcast ever. Yeah, we were having fun. That's what
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: we'd like to do here.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: We will take it this hold on to your seat.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: We ain't anywhere near being done. Mister Irene stated that
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: he was a little surprised at no one from the
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: federal government, like the FBI or the Secret Service that
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: ever contacted him during the Warning commissioned investigation due to
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: the fact that he knew Dave Ferry very well, if
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. He believes that al share
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: me might be the only person that knew Faerry in
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: his last days better than him. The Internal Mobile Security
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Unit was made up of approximately twelve to fifteen members.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: So apparently this is some kind of special unit Senator,
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: special unit George Senator that David Ferry put together that
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: was made up of approximately twelve to fifteen young boys.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: They were from the Cat Program and the Falcon Squadron
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: and about four of the people who were not connected
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: to either of those organizations. They just happened to be
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: young boys.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Al sharing Me was a member. One of the photos
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: he was shown was of a Lynn Taylor. Mister Ivyan
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: remembers her her Oh, we have a female in the myths, uh,
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: from the Cat Program, and remember that she had a
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: sister named Pam and that she had dated Al share Me.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Her father, name unknown was a con man that swindled
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: a lot of money from a group of Catholic priests
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: in California. One of the schemes that was discussed was
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: a business from Columbia that would harvest a nut. I'm
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: not shooting you man. Uh hold on, did I read
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: that right? Yeah. One of the schemes that was discussed
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: was a business from Columbia. Okay, I got talking. I
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: guess to talk about the country now, a city that
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: would harvest the nut and crush it for its oil
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: and chemical content that was supposed to be valuable. Al
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: share me went to South America to check something like
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: that out. He went to go down and check out
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: some nuts. Arion hasn't seen the tailors are sharing me
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: in years. So this is their get rich quick scheme, Joe.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: They're going to crush nuts, extract the valuable milk nut
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: or nut milk, and make something with it. Apparently out
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: of nuts. You know where the other nut milk came from.
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: Maybe he was going to marry Sherman.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: Yeah. A. Leonard Wiley was another member of the IMSU
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: or the CAP. I remembers him as Wally or some names,
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: such as that he thinks that he was a private
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: or corporal in one of the units. He remembers Wiley
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: as having a bad temper that would flare up easily.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Wiley would fall into the group of people that Ferry
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: was always trying to help because of broken homes or
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: personal problems i e. Easy victims.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: Yes, i e. Jeffrey Epstein did the same thing.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Easy victims yeah, very easy to groom. Irian did not
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: know about Wiley marrying or murdering. Oh wait, what the fuck?
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: Holy shit? Okay, well, apparently Leonard Wiley ak Wally ended
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: up marrying and murdering dancer Marilyn Moon from Jack Ruby's
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Carousel Club. How's that for a small world? It's crazy
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: he married her and murdered her. I remember hearing the
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: name Marilyn Moon being one of Jack Rube's dancers.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: Yeah, did you have a different stage name.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure Marilyn Moon was her stage name.
- 1:07:17Speaker 9: Okay, yeah, that's crazy, Marilyn Moon Row Yeah right right,
- 1:07:27Speaker 9: kill me. I bet she made that name based off that.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Irianne says that William Dalzel looked like a man he
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: remembered from around Banister's office or Ferry's apartment. And oh,
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: by the way, another CRC member, Joe William Dalzel.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: I did not know he was part of the CRC.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Yes, him was? And was him?
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: Was?
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: Uh?
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: Wait a minute, Oh, Irene remembered an incident when he
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: was with Banister at the office. Okay, and Irene and
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: Morris Brownlee went to Banister's house on Argonne Street. Wait
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: a minute, hold the mother f and phone.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: Joe, Okay, are we going to look up the location
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: of Argon Street?
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Somebody else lived on motherfucking Argon Street. You may have
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: heard of that. I've been meaning to show his fucking
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: house for two weeks. Everybody say hello to Riis Panna's
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: house on Argonne Boulevard or street or whatever where Pennie
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: was living in nineteen sixty three.
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: Yeah. Wow, And and look at that landscaping.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Well this is a recent picture, Joe.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: That's true, that's true.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: I mean that's pretty nice digs for Hispania, you know. Yeah,
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: did the Timmy Cuban bar owner or Hispania. He told
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: me he beat my ass, He take my ass.
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: FBI in formant Warren with Warren Debris probably paid some
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: of it. Wow, that's a nice house.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: So he lived right down the street from God Banister
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: apparently or his pinion. Hmmm. Interesting. They stayed late talking
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: about politics, and he was impressed with the intelligence of
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: one Fred Lee Chrisman, who he says he met at
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Banister's house.
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: What what.
- 1:09:56Speaker 6: What?
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: What? Small world?
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: After for all, Fairy was also there, So Dave Fairy
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: knew friendly christmin guy Banister Morris Brownlee was there. Fairies
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: little buddy that says Fairy is also president, and he
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: remembers that Fairy stated that there wasn't much difference between
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: the Catholic Church and Communism, just a priest. Iren believes
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: that Chrismin slept at Banish's home that night because they
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: all left except him. Hmmm.
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: Into that.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: A lot of confusery going on around here, Joe.
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: Maybe he was just too drunk to dry.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe he was, you know, didn't have anywhere.
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: Else to go, so yeah, maybe he got Uh.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: They were such good friends, you know, banished President. You
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: don't need to pay for a hotel. You stay in
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: my house.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: Crazy crazy craziness. A.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: Doc Riira is vaguely remembered by Iren is being associated
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: in some of the ferry, but the exact connection is
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: not clear. The investigators did not have the first name
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: or alias of doc Irion remembers this man as being
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: involved with the Cubans and arcocious Smith. Rieira was also
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: seen at the office of what prominent New Orleans lawyer Joe.
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: That would be.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Three syllables. Yeah, I know.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: The lawyers. Uh, the mobs, the mob yeah yeah.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: Marwise, Greg Gil yes, thank you, and possibly New Carlos
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: Marcelo and Guy Banister. Irion does remember that Fairy and
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: some of the guys built a man. What all right?
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: So I'm sorry, what is going on here?
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: Hey, Peaches?
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: Irian does remember that Fairy and some of the boys
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: built a man from the bones out to the skin
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: by studying books on anatomy. What the fuck were they
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: playing around with dead bodies and like rebuilding a man
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: from the bones out to the skin. Like, what are
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: we doing here?
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: Hey? Kind of sounds like that. I have no idea.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: Movie, Jesus, we start with the skeleton boys, and we'll
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: take this other body here. We're gonna open up, We're
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: gonna put his organs in the skeleton, and then we're
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: gonna sell the skin over the skeleton in the bones. Okay.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: There was a lot of weird shit going on before
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: people had, like, you know, a thousand TV channels and
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: cell phones and computers, a lot of time on their hands. Apparently,
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: you gotta learn anatomy some way, Joe, there's only someone
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: you can teach from the outside. Wow, Okay.
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: To this day, Irene can remember many of the bones
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: and muscles that Ferry pointed out to him.
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: What is going on here?
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: It was one of Faery's many interests, Joe. This was
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: done in the lab that they built at Fairies Airline
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: Street address. So apparently he just didn't have an apartment
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: on Louisiana Parkway. He had a secret laboratory an Airline
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: Street to dress where he was building subs and fucking
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: with dead bodies apparently. And I don't know what else.
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: Where do you even get them?
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Dude, I don't know.
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: I know, it's just nuts.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: Ferry got into an argument with Irene's brother over what
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: the inside particles of an atam or see.
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: I believe that because it's so specific.
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, you know what I mean. You just
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: can't make ship up like this.
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: You can't. It's not like this.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: No way left the field. Yes, the brother was some
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: kind of physicist, and Ferry was bragging that he knew
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: about this subatomic particle before many of the so called
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: doctors around the US. Farry also bragged that he was
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: one of the first men to know about Russia putting
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: up the first sputnik. Irean to this day can't figure
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: out if Ferry was just provoking his brother or telling
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: the truth. The two brothers part of company at the airport,
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: shouting at each other. Okay, Jose du Vernari, whoever that is,
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: said Irianna said he looks familiar and believed that he
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: knew him from around the International House or the International Trademark,
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: if you will. Some guy named Guterarez a photo from Dade, Florida,
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: Dade County, Florida Sheriff's Department. He might have been one
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: of the few outsiders to train with the IMSU. They're
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: showing him pictures of people now, you know, and he's
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: recognizing some of them. Douglas Lethidge, an old time flying
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: buddy of Ferry. He recognized. He's in a uniform that
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: looks like it was Army Air Corps. Irene remembers his
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: photo being in Faerry's apartment, but he never met the man.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: Excuse me. A Bill Martin who was known from being
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: around planes at the airport. Ah another Martin, Florencio Villeria.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Name and photo are familiar only Frank Sturgis early photos
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: of looked like a man that used to be around
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: some of the IMSU training grounds. Jim Graffeo, a friend
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: of Fairy, strong guy with a bad temper aka a
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: bad dude. Never a good combination, Never a good combination.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: Mister Iren remembers Lee Harvey Oswald from the CAP program
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: when Oswald was going there through basic training, but does
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: not remember him and taking part in any of the
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: quote unquote regular activities aka parties at Dave's house. This
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: was approximately fifty six to fifty seven. Upon viewing Oswald's
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: photo in the New Orleans Time begin of May thirty
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: sixty eighty, stated that Oswald would probably not have been
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: allowed to wear a uniform unless he completed his training
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: in probationary period, but he does not recall him seeing
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: him as a regular, which we know is not true
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: because we actually have a picture of Oswald in his
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: CAP uniform, just saying maybe Joe can find that while
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: we well, I finish up here. The other photo in
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: the same news article shows, from left to right, but
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: not identified in the photos, a Joseph Thompson, Kathrey Carter,
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: then mayor just Slepts Morrison. So you have the mayor
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: of New Orleans hanging out with Dave Ferry and the
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: boys in the CAP program, caught in a photo a
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: Robert Boylston. John Iren himself and David Ferry. Mister Irene
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: stated that he remembers that day and showed the investigators
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: two other photos in that day, which was an inspection day.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: None of the photos showed Oswald, though the uniforms and
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: all three photos were not the same, and mister Irene
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: stated that this might be photos from two different days
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: but involving the same people. Looking back. Irene stated that
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: he knew Dave Ferry from approximately fifty six to sixty six,
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: both in cap and socially. He cannot remember specifically any
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: time that Oswald and Ferry were together, but states that
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: their contact is highly probable due to the many courses
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: that Ferry taught.
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: I did add it to the screen and Oswald is
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: wearing a T shirt.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: Yeah this this is not the right photo, Joe. There's
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: actually a photo of Oswald in a CAP uniform. He's
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: just by himself from like chest up. Okay, see if
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: you can find that one. Okay, he's got a logate,
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: you know, one of his little hats on, and I
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: believe he's got cat pins on his you know shirt. Hm,
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: I got it, you got it? Yeah, Okay, let me.
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: See if I could share this correctly On with one shot. Boom.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: There he is Cadet Civil Air Patrol Lee Harvey.
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: Oswald nineteen fifty five.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you can buy it. What's sold for eleven hundred
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: and fifteen dollars. Wow.
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: Wow, Is this Harvey or is this Lee?
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: We will never know, Joe, We'll never know. He appears
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: to have a thick bull neck with attached to ear lobes.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: There is a photo of Harvey Anley.
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: Who knows.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: He cooperated with members of the DA's office Jim Garrison
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: by answering their questions, but he did not appear before
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: a grand jury, and he's not sure of all the
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: details of his statements due to the time lapse and
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: non usage of Garrison. For whatever reason. He was not
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: talking into joining the Marines. It was never a member
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: of the Marines, as the investigators reported Satan. He did
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: become a Catholic, though a dirty Catholic due to the
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: interested Fairy showed the religion very one time asked Ireon
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: to make a full confession to him as a priest,
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: but Iren declined. This occurred at Fairies gas station.
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: All right, hold on, God, I already have to put
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: my eye drops in because I was crying.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: Coming to the men's bathroom with me for a second.
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: Come in, have a seat. I have a seat on
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: the tole. All right, I'm gonna stand over here on
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: the other side of the partition.
- 1:21:30Speaker 4: Here.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: You sit right there, and uh, I want you to
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: confess all your sins to me. Tell me what you
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: do at night, laying in your bed all alone, jar
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: of Aslena baby oil by side and a couple of tissues,
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: maybe a sock. Tell me your deepest, dirtiest thoughts as
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: you lay.
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: I have no idea, man, that's craziness.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: Mister Iren's opinion of Fairy is that he was a
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: dynamic leader, very intelligent. Here's another guy, third one a
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: row talking about how intelligent this dude was, but with
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: a flaw in his character that always seemed to have
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: him at odds with people around him. This became more
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: apparent in Fairies last three or four years. Mister Irin
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: identified the following photos as being familiar or related knowledge
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: of the persons. Number one, Yeah, g Ray gil Irion
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: knew him as Fairies attorney and Irene was flown to
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: Miami by Gil on a commercial flights to testify on
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: behalf of David fair Fairi's character. So Ireon is one
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: of the guys they sent to Miami to tell them
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: what a great guy David Fairry was there at Eastern Airlines. Yeah. Wow,
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: as did guy Banister by the way.
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: Yeah, a character witness I believe they call it.
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: Yeah, Ferry worked as an investigator for g Ray Gill,
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: who had who had him doing some work for Carlos Marcello.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Ferry got g ray Gill off of a case that
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: the I R S had against him, and Irene felt
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: that this endeared Fairry to Guil and impressed others. So
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: this is why David Ferry, old scum of the earth.
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: David Ferry, not a real investigator by the way, was
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: hired by g Ray Gill as his personal investigator because
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: David Ferry had gotten out of gotten him out of
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: some hot water with the I R S. Did I
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: know that Number seven Jack Martin? Ferry and Martin were
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: always arguing and he did some type of work together
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: for Banister and Gil.
- 1:23:47Speaker 4: That is both true.
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: M Yeah, So that is John Irene Joe. Wow.
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: So he was a character witness of the Eastern Airlines thing.
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: Huh. Yeah. And the last thing I got and I'll
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: set it up for you, and that because I got
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: some more skuffuzy after you get done, is than going
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: on and on like this. My tear ducks are swelling.
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: I have here an HSCA contact report with a mister
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: John Sullivan from nineteen seventy eight. Joe Staff investigator Lawrence LJ.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: Delsa met with mister John Sullivan at his office on
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: Saint Charles Street. Mister Sullivan is the manager and head
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: of records for the Louisiana Unemployment Security Office. Now, the
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: reason we're gonna mention this here is because of all
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: the SKAFFUSI going on to the Texas Employment Commission that
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: we talked about for our little presentation. For the past
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: couple of weeks, he finding more and more things that
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: are suspect.
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: Have another one for you shortly.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: Yeah, here's what he had to say. Mister Sullivan told
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: Delsa that a mister Hermano Messina, now deceased, was the
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: head of records for the Louisiana Unemployment Security Office in
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: New Orleans in November of sixty three. In that month,
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: mister Messina turned all of the records over to either
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: the FBI or the Secret service and they were never returned.
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: Sullivan said that he knows there were no copies made
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: by them and there were no other records on hand
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: at their office. Basically, what this guy's saying is, the
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: FBI shows up shortly after Lee Harvey Oswald is arrested
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: or killed in Texas at the New Orleans unemployment office
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: and makes them turn over all of their records, right,
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: and they have no copies. So the FBI took everything
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: and never gave them back, which is interesting. So Joe,
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: I'll let you pick it up from there, my friend.
- 1:25:59Speaker 4: All right, Yeah, so I was tasked with doing a
- 1:26:06Speaker 4: little Frank bartez uh little mini deep dive. And here
- 1:26:16Speaker 4: I am using mister Robb's power point like that. Yeah,
- 1:26:24Speaker 4: it's great. I love it. That's why I use it.
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: And this is Oswalt's employment time.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: Go back to that first picture, Joe, real quick.
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I have the video queued up, and we should.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: Point out some people here in this Okay, point them out.
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: Oh I thought you were gonna do it.
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: I don't know. They all look the same to me.
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: Wow, much like the Chinese. They all look the same
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: to me. Yeah, I continue with your presentation.
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: Joe, Okay, So look, I looked at Oswalt's employment timeline
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: and we're going to go through the video in a
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: second of I believe it's August tenth at the New
- 1:27:17Speaker 4: Orleans courtroom, but you know it goes through all of
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: Oswalt's employment commission blah blah blah. And I found an
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: interesting commission warrant commission exhibit number two four sixty two,
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: Like we didn't have enough of them. Lee's unemployment visits
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: and what And I kinda this is a layup for you.
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: What is missing from this?
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: Rob his four eight sixty three visit. Yeah, leisedly, but
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: they have.
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: Every date he either got a check or I believe
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: you got a check mail to the PO box from
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: the Texas Unemployment Commission. But I thought that was very interesting.
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: And no four eight again, it's crazy. And these are
- 1:28:22Speaker 4: all these different forms and you know, probably out of
- 1:28:25Speaker 4: state unemployment forms type of thing. Then I found an
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: HSCA Oswalt chronology and Rob, you will not guess what
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: they reference for this. It's absolutely nuts. Okay, so I'm
- 1:28:46Speaker 4: gonna fast forward here. We're going to April seventh. Hold on,
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: let me see if I miss something. April fifth, os
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: went Oswald went out walking with Marina in June. He
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: was carrying his rifle.
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: So, according to Oswald, this is the same day he
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: was let go from Jagger's child Stowball. Yes, uh, pissed
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: he's got his rifle.
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: Yes, with his daughter and Marina. I mean, how how
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: stupid is this? And when I show you what this
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: is what they're referencing m N L Marina and Lee.
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: So this is from Marina's book, Yeah with what's her name?
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: The CIA? Yeah, ah ship child.
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: Help us, Uh, the one that interviewed Lee in Russia.
- 1:30:02Speaker 10: Craziness and then you know they have everything blah blah
- 1:30:06Speaker 10: blah blah blah blah. Yes, Oswald left the apartment with
- 1:30:13Speaker 10: his rifle on the Sunday and stayed out all day.
- 1:30:18Speaker 10: When he came home for supper at six that night,
- 1:30:21Speaker 10: he no longer had the rifle. I mean, how much
- 1:30:25Speaker 10: bullshit did that?
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: Lady? Fucking sup you? With Marina?
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: Oh? Crazy? A lot southwest in turn.
- 1:30:37Speaker 4: In April eighth, which is of course the date of
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: the manifest that we've talked about, right, got up as
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: usual and left the apartment as if he was going
- 1:30:47Speaker 4: to work again. He was out all day. Only one
- 1:30:51Speaker 4: of his activities is known. He visited the Texas Apployment Commission,
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: which we have credible evidence, many documents that says that
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: he did not visit that day and told his sympathetic
- 1:31:07Speaker 4: ladies there that he was out of a job. Lee
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: had supper at six. I mean, just these details are
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: just like red flags to me.
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: Who puts his timeline together.
- 1:31:19Speaker 4: The HSCA, oh god, that's what I'm and there and
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: look again, another reference to Marina and Lee. Lee no
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: longer pretended to go to work. He told Marina that
- 1:31:32Speaker 4: it was a holiday and he was going to collect
- 1:31:34Speaker 4: his paycheck.
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: What he is it on Tuesday?
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: Maybe a Jewish holiday, It's easy. April tenth, Oswald told Marina.
- 1:31:45Speaker 4: So again, he's telling Marina, according to Marina and Lee,
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: that he lost his job on the day of the
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: Walker shooting and he's been, you know, practicing blah blah blah,
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: although we have no evidence of that, and I just
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: thought that was so silly. Now we have. The twelfth,
- 1:32:04Speaker 4: he followed the claim for the unemployment benefits, which we
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: do know happened, and the thirteenth, the Mornstules came to
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: the apartment on the evening of April thirteenth to bring
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: an Easter gift for the Oswald Child June blah blah blah.
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: And I'm just going to skip forward to that, so
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: we're gonna get to who was Frank Bartes? Okay, and
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: before I play the video, I'm gonna go to this slide.
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: His kryptonym was a M surf one. This is from
- 1:32:42Speaker 4: the Mary Firth Federal Foundation. Francisco Frank Bartes CIA source.
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: Bartes headed the New Orleans Cuban Revolutionary Council CRC and
- 1:32:59Speaker 4: was also FBI informant and a CI informant. And his
- 1:33:06Speaker 4: contact was Warrenrews.
- 1:33:10Speaker 2: Bruce.
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: No, I don't say it like that. I'm not going to.
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: Low was Bartz's case officer as.
- 1:33:19Speaker 4: Of sixty one. Yeah. Yeah, so talk about some guy
- 1:33:25Speaker 4: playing full side three sides of the fence. Really.
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: Yeah. He's a CIA source contact whatever you want to
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: call him, and an FBI informant and an anti Castro
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: uh angry Cuban exile mm hmmm. Wow. And and he's
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: high out the CRC.
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, for New Orleans for sure. So let me
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: stop sharing this as I learn this new thing of ours,
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: this thing of Oz and get to the w D
- 1:34:11Speaker 4: s U video of Oswalt in the courtroom.
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: My c RC members, Okay, and again, let's identify these
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: guys for people you're looking at. You're gonna be looking
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: at Frank Bartz. You're gonna be looking at uh Silviodio's uncle,
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: Augustin Guittart. You're gonna be looking at Rodriguez and his
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: brother and his father.
- 1:34:48Speaker 4: Okay, Yeah, Oswalt's alleged first contact in New Orleans, Cuban contact.
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: And I believe carlos Kiroga is there as well. Yeah,
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: so a let see your c members, folks.
- 1:35:02Speaker 4: Let me see if I can play this at half
- 1:35:08Speaker 4: speed because it has no audio. Let's see if this
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: works so we can get some good looks, because I
- 1:35:15Speaker 4: honestly don't know which one bartest is, so maybe you
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: could help me with us.
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: I believe he's the one in sunglasses.
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: Him.
- 1:35:36Speaker 2: No, No, that's the old man, uh Rodriguez. Oh okay,
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: that's the father of Emilio and Arnesto, the one right
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: in the front there that you barely saw him turn.
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: That was him. Yeah.
- 1:35:54Speaker 4: And you have Lee here trolling.
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: Hanging out in the courthouse saying yeah, I see you guys.
- 1:35:58Speaker 4: So this one and right here, yes, let me let
- 1:36:04Speaker 4: me pause it to get a because I did clip.
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: This this guy.
- 1:36:08Speaker 11: Yes, I believe that is Frank Bartees Jesus Christ. It's
- 1:36:14Speaker 11: like the who's who of Cia anti Castro Cubans here.
- 1:36:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and many of them are wearing sunglasses in a
- 1:36:23Speaker 2: building in nineteen sixty three.
- 1:36:25Speaker 4: I wear my suw and glasses at night. Which one
- 1:36:33Speaker 4: is he?
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: I believe this. I don't know if these are the
- 1:36:41Speaker 2: guys or if this is Brignier, Hernandez and Cruz. I
- 1:36:45Speaker 2: can't remember.
- 1:36:47Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, Manuel Cruz, Yeah, I think you're right, Miguel, Yeah, Miguel.
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: Now there's old man back there. They said they're all together,
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: they all know each other. There's there's the guide book
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: for the Marines that Oswald gave when he went into
- 1:37:03Speaker 2: his store. Yeah, not he put he come in my store.
- 1:37:08Speaker 2: He give me this book. He say, you want to
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: help us. He's secretly cast your lover.
- 1:37:18Speaker 4: Not not in great quality. In Amazon, it would be
- 1:37:24Speaker 4: considered the lowest quality.
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: Yes, that's a very loved copy, if you will. Pages
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: is a little stuck together l H. Oswald.
- 1:37:35Speaker 12: Yeah right, yeah, see right here he named he's naming
- 1:37:43Speaker 12: right here? Oh, let me go back.
- 1:37:49Speaker 4: Was that Bartas.
- 1:37:51Speaker 2: Yeah here? Yeah, I think I don't know, Like you said,
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: they all looked, they all looked. That's some black suits.
- 1:38:01Speaker 2: Who the fuck knows?
- 1:38:03Speaker 4: David Boylan probably knows. We'll ask, we'll ask him when
- 1:38:06Speaker 4: he comes.
- 1:38:07Speaker 2: Back on in titles for this song bitch okay, and
- 1:38:12Speaker 2: then of course international trademark.
- 1:38:15Speaker 4: Oswalt is not the third. He goes back on the
- 1:38:18Speaker 4: sixteenth to hand out leaflets again, pause it right.
- 1:38:22Speaker 2: Here, Joe, all right? That tall guy okay, that is
- 1:38:27Speaker 2: handing out leaflets. That's Charles Steele, okay, allegedly just some
- 1:38:32Speaker 2: rando that he saw at the Louisiana Unemployment office, okay,
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: and paid five dollars to hand these things out. Now
- 1:38:43Speaker 2: there is another person helping Oswald hand out leafless that
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: we'll get to in a second that I have identified,
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: and it's very interesting.
- 1:38:58Speaker 4: And the tall guy you mean on the left here.
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: Yes, okay, just and this is I think one of
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: those other guys on the right and the white shirts
- 1:39:08Speaker 2: is the other person helping him hand leaflets out. I think, right, well,
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: which one?
- 1:39:14Speaker 4: Well, lucky for you, I have later my power point
- 1:39:19Speaker 4: Oswalt's letters to the Fair Play for Cuba Committee saying
- 1:39:23Speaker 4: he paid everyone two dollars, two people, two dollars. I
- 1:39:27Speaker 4: believe it was two dollars.
- 1:39:28Speaker 2: And I think the Warrer Commission can never identify the
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: other person. They got Charles Steele, but they couldn't never
- 1:39:33Speaker 2: identify the other person. Well, the HSCA identifies him, and
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: it's very interesting who the fuck he is? But we'll
- 1:39:40Speaker 2: get there problems.
- 1:39:43Speaker 4: So again, this is that point five speed.
- 1:39:46Speaker 2: There goes Judy Baker and her lad skirt.
- 1:39:49Speaker 4: Hold on, let me go back to this as we
- 1:39:51Speaker 4: see Oswalt's smile off the camera. Oh shit, oh god,
- 1:40:01Speaker 4: it's so quick, too slow, And no, I'm not I'm trying.
- 1:40:08Speaker 4: There we go.
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: You caught him.
- 1:40:13Speaker 4: He is not a care in the fucking world.
- 1:40:17Speaker 2: Nope, loving life.
- 1:40:20Speaker 4: And whoever these dark complexed men are behind him?
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: Who the fuck knows Cubans? I would assume.
- 1:40:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't, I don't know. They don't seem very
- 1:40:31Speaker 4: just off.
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: I'll give you two dollars in a hand job. Help
- 1:40:34Speaker 2: me out.
- 1:40:37Speaker 4: Yeah, this is uh oh, this is the tall guy
- 1:40:43Speaker 4: right right, and this is this the guy they say
- 1:40:50Speaker 4: that was Shelley. No, no, who might have just been
- 1:40:56Speaker 4: smoking a sig. Look at his short. I respect that
- 1:41:02Speaker 4: a don doesn't wear shorts. That's just that's the Sopranos quote.
- 1:41:07Speaker 2: Uh, there's the Don walking down the street with yeah,
- 1:41:13Speaker 2: I don't know on his waist, and then we go
- 1:41:18Speaker 2: there to the W to the I love it.
- 1:41:24Speaker 4: It's crazy, man, right, So who is Bartest? And I
- 1:41:33Speaker 4: have some documents to show here once I kind of figure.
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: It out, Norman, let's just spell a myth here, a myth,
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: a myth here real quick. No, not Ted Cruise's dad.
- 1:41:45Speaker 2: That is a Chucky Baker bullshit claim that we do
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: not acknowledge here at the Limbum podcast.
- 1:41:52Speaker 4: Did she come up with that? Uh?
- 1:41:56Speaker 2: She confirmed it. I don't know who first said it,
- 1:41:59Speaker 2: but oh yeah it was Take Cruise of Dance, Miguel Cruz. No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: all right, So who was Frank Bartiz?
- 1:42:16Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, like we just showed this, there we have.
- 1:42:23Speaker 4: This is from nineteen sixty seven. We're gonna go a
- 1:42:26Speaker 4: little We're gonna jump around a little bit. But there
- 1:42:29Speaker 4: has been no information which involves Frank Artes cuban exile
- 1:42:34Speaker 4: in Garrison's investigation. Yeah, however, as a New Orleans citizen.
- 1:42:40Speaker 4: He was prominent in Cuba, opposed to Castro, head of
- 1:42:43Speaker 4: the CRC count CRC in New Orleans and known to
- 1:42:48Speaker 4: Gerald Gerald Patrick Ming Rivera Galder Rivera too, and the
- 1:42:59Speaker 4: l Board Harry Leboard.
- 1:43:01Speaker 2: Yes, asset also in New Orleans and also involved in
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: the training camps. Thank you welcome.
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: Subject and alien former president. We're talking about Bartes here
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: of the Cuban railways.
- 1:43:19Speaker 2: Yes, swinging dick.
- 1:43:21Speaker 4: Yeah, he was pretty big. Front was approved for contact
- 1:43:26Speaker 4: use in January nineteen sixty one, like we saw on
- 1:43:29Speaker 4: the previous Mary Ferrell slide and May nineteen sixty seven.
- 1:43:34Speaker 4: Of course, I'm sure he was approved throughout those dates.
- 1:43:40Speaker 4: For Project JM eight, the FBI imposed no objections to
- 1:43:47Speaker 4: these contacts. He was to furnish information concerning Cuban rail ways.
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: He was granted a provisional operational approval on for January
- 1:43:57Speaker 4: nineteen sixty one for contact and assessment for you was
- 1:44:00Speaker 4: on Project j MATE.
- 1:44:02Speaker 2: So he was an FBI informant before being approached by
- 1:44:06Speaker 2: the CIA. That's why they have that in there. The
- 1:44:08Speaker 2: FBI interposed no objections to these contacts, which means he
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: was an FBI informant before he was a CIA asset.
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: Wow, okay, thank you. This approval was canceled on August
- 1:44:22Speaker 4: thirty one. August thirty first, sixty one, Yeah sure. On
- 1:44:29Speaker 4: seven October sixty five, subject was granted another POA for
- 1:44:35Speaker 4: use as a pilot in the Congo. Oh bartest went
- 1:44:42Speaker 4: to the Congo too?
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: Yeah wow?
- 1:44:47Speaker 4: Who else went to the Congo.
- 1:44:50Speaker 2: Morales Rip Robertson, Westboro Morales, Monkey Morales.
- 1:44:58Speaker 4: Yeah yeah. He was covertly investigated with favorable results and
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: received in operational approval on fifteen November sixty five for
- 1:45:08Speaker 4: use as a PM pilot in Africa. He returned to
- 1:45:12Speaker 4: the United States on February eleven, sixty six, and his
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: clearance was canceled on October sixty six. So that's interesting.
- 1:45:23Speaker 4: Subject is how old rob.
- 1:45:27Speaker 2: For seven?
- 1:45:28Speaker 4: No say it for seven forty seven sixty seven your
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: boys hockey number. And it's not because of Trump, believe me.
- 1:45:41Speaker 4: Years old. Born in Havana, Cuba. He was formerly president
- 1:45:45Speaker 4: of the Consolidated Railways of Cuba and also owned sugar
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: and rice plantations. He left Cuba because of his opposition
- 1:45:53Speaker 4: to Castro entered the US on January fourth, sixty one.
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: And FBI report dated June fourteen sixty three from Non
- 1:46:04Speaker 4: Orleans concerned a visit by Bartes to the New Orleans
- 1:46:09Speaker 4: FBI office in which he offered his services to the
- 1:46:12Speaker 4: US government and said he would be willing to cooperate
- 1:46:16Speaker 4: with the US government in any acceptable plan the US
- 1:46:19Speaker 4: might devise to combat Castro's government with no thought of
- 1:46:23Speaker 4: personnel gain or favor. On December twentieth, sixty six, Bartes
- 1:46:30Speaker 4: called the New Orleans Domestic Contact Division, I believe that
- 1:46:36Speaker 4: stands for to inform that office that his mother had
- 1:46:41Speaker 4: arrived from Cuba and would be willing to provide information, okay.
- 1:46:47Speaker 4: He also stated that a cousin, a twenty nine year
- 1:46:50Speaker 4: old pallerina Alicia Cruz Bostilio, not a communist and still
- 1:47:00Speaker 4: residing in Cuba, would be willing to help the US
- 1:47:02Speaker 4: if she was approached in the proper manner. So here
- 1:47:05Speaker 4: he is trying to get his family to, you know,
- 1:47:13Speaker 4: over to the United States and also offer intelligence. Right.
- 1:47:18Speaker 4: There was no record of Alicia Bastille Leo inn Office
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: of Security Indices and no indication that these offers were
- 1:47:28Speaker 4: acceptable acceptable by the agency. This is also just another
- 1:47:37Speaker 4: thing Bartes appeared. I think this is from the HCA.
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: New Orleans CRC occupied the Newman Building of course, five
- 1:47:46Speaker 4: forty four Camp Street, sixty one sixty two. Antonio de
- 1:47:50Speaker 4: Varonna came to New Orleans to speak on behalf of
- 1:47:53Speaker 4: CRC on November fifteenth, sixty three. Which is interesting was
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: government funding for CRC cut off on May first. Bartes
- 1:48:05Speaker 4: appeared with Brigner at court hearing and argued with Oswalt
- 1:48:09Speaker 4: on August twelfth. The same day, Bartes claims to have
- 1:48:14Speaker 4: warned his FBI contact that Oswalt was quote a dangerous
- 1:48:18Speaker 4: man end quote. Bartes was also instrumental in bringing Gerald
- 1:48:23Speaker 4: Patrick Hemming to New Orleans in late June of nineteen
- 1:48:26Speaker 4: sixty two, met with Hemming and two others in Miami.
- 1:48:31Speaker 4: CI crip for CRC was am Budd Bartes, an informant
- 1:48:36Speaker 4: for CIA's Domestic Contact Division. Guy Banister found Friends of
- 1:48:44Speaker 4: Democratic Cuba to fundraise for New Orleans CRC group and
- 1:48:49Speaker 4: helps ARCATCHA Smith get office at five forty four Cantrey
- 1:48:56Speaker 4: Blah blah blah. So interesting stuff here. And uh, let's
- 1:49:02Speaker 4: see this is HSCA volume X.
- 1:49:10Speaker 2: Now real quick, you see folks, all of these prime
- 1:49:14Speaker 2: suspects in New Orleans. You see how they're all interconnected.
- 1:49:20Speaker 2: They all knew each other, They're all in this, running
- 1:49:23Speaker 2: in the same circles. These names keep popping up over
- 1:49:27Speaker 2: and over. Nothing is a coincidence in New Orleans. Nothing.
- 1:49:34Speaker 2: These people are connected.
- 1:49:37Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:49:38Speaker 2: I mean you saw right there. Guy Banster founded the
- 1:49:40Speaker 2: Friends of Democratic Cuba to raise money for the CRC,
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: strictly a fundraising operation, which we'll get to here in
- 1:49:48Speaker 2: a minute. Okay, eyewitness inside Banister's office.
- 1:50:00Speaker 4: At the time of the Secret Service investigator. Let me see.
- 1:50:03Speaker 4: During the course of the investigation, the Secret Service ascertained
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: that the New Orleans chapter of the CRC had occupied
- 1:50:09Speaker 4: an office of five forty four Camp Street for about
- 1:50:13Speaker 4: six months during sixty one to sixty two. At that time,
- 1:50:16Speaker 4: Sergiocachia Smith was the official CRC delegate. The Secret Service
- 1:50:20Speaker 4: also learned that Arcocha Smith had been fired from his
- 1:50:23Speaker 4: position by the Miami CRC headquarters in early nineteen sixty two,
- 1:50:27Speaker 4: allegedly because he did not have the confidence of the
- 1:50:31Speaker 4: New Orleans Cuban exile community and replaced Lewis Rebel replaced
- 1:50:39Speaker 4: Arcata Smith. At the time of the Secret Service investigation.
- 1:50:43Speaker 4: Another Cuban exile, Frank bart has headed the New Orleans
- 1:50:47Speaker 4: CRC delegation and maintained offices in his home at Metairie,
- 1:50:52Speaker 4: the suburb of New Orleans. After an extensive investigation by
- 1:50:57Speaker 4: the FBI and the Secret Service regarding the disability that
- 1:51:00Speaker 4: Oswald rented office space at five forty four Camp Street,
- 1:51:04Speaker 4: the Warren Commission the Warrenport concluded there was no evidence
- 1:51:08Speaker 4: that Oswald ever maintained in office at that address. That's true.
- 1:51:13Speaker 4: Warren Commission said he didn't, But I'm going to show
- 1:51:17Speaker 4: you a letter from him shortly that might be contrary
- 1:51:22Speaker 4: to that. Then this is just a document talking about
- 1:51:30Speaker 4: him informing on Gerald Patrick Hemming. This is July of
- 1:51:36Speaker 4: sixty two. Remember we talked about how we got Heming
- 1:51:40Speaker 4: to come to New Orleans in sixty two and his friends. Yep.
- 1:51:45Speaker 4: Bartes advised that the see our Cuban Revolutionary Front group
- 1:51:50Speaker 4: in New Orleans has approved the idea of looking at
- 1:51:53Speaker 4: possibilities of establishing establishing oh a training camp in the
- 1:51:59Speaker 4: vicinity of New Work Orlans, but we have not definitely
- 1:52:01Speaker 4: decided to establish such a camp.
- 1:52:03Speaker 2: Again, these are training camps funded by the CIA, and
- 1:52:09Speaker 2: then shut down by the kennedys mm hmm.
- 1:52:14Speaker 4: Via the FBI, yep or the same in the last
- 1:52:19Speaker 4: paragraph here, Uh, now we have a c I A.
- 1:52:23Speaker 4: I believe, I don't know that this might be the
- 1:52:27Speaker 4: rest of the FBI Bartes. This is the rest of
- 1:52:32Speaker 4: the FBI document. Bartes advised that he would keep the
- 1:52:35Speaker 4: f B I advised of any developments in this regard.
- 1:52:40Speaker 4: So who knows what what Bartes was really up to.
- 1:52:48Speaker 4: This is a c I A document, uh talking about
- 1:52:54Speaker 4: Bartes And I'm not going.
- 1:52:56Speaker 2: To read that first section at the very very bottom.
- 1:53:00Speaker 4: Proposal made to New Orleans Cuban refuge Refugee Group for
- 1:53:05Speaker 4: the military training of a refugee group in the State
- 1:53:10Speaker 4: of Louisiana, nineteen seventies.
- 1:53:12Speaker 2: The CIA funding the CRC to open a training camp
- 1:53:20Speaker 2: in the United States for the purpose of purpose of
- 1:53:23Speaker 2: training Cuban refugees to attack Cuba.
- 1:53:28Speaker 4: And right, you have the CIA funding it, you have
- 1:53:32Speaker 4: the FBI trying to shut it down, you have the
- 1:53:35Speaker 4: Kennedy administration trying to shut it down. Post Bay of Pigs.
- 1:53:39Speaker 4: It's a freaking mess.
- 1:53:41Speaker 2: And if you think it didn't piss him off, you're wrong.
- 1:53:46Speaker 4: Right. I'm not gonna let me see. I'm not going
- 1:53:50Speaker 4: to read all.
- 1:53:51Speaker 2: This he'sus informing on him and the board and Howard K.
- 1:53:56Speaker 4: Dave right, which just confirms that he was. He was
- 1:54:00Speaker 4: giving information to both the CIA and the FBI. When
- 1:54:04Speaker 4: Bartes returned to New Orleans, according to him, he contacted
- 1:54:08Speaker 4: the local office of the FBI and asked them if
- 1:54:12Speaker 4: he could and his words clear Laric Labourd. Bartes said
- 1:54:18Speaker 4: that at the time. Later the FBI did contact Ravel
- 1:54:23Speaker 4: and told him it's just a function in the weed
- 1:54:28Speaker 4: stuff that we've already gotten a part of. But so
- 1:54:32Speaker 4: this is We've talked about this a lot in the
- 1:54:34Speaker 4: show Rob. This is Lee's August first letter to VT
- 1:54:39Speaker 4: Lee of the Fair Fair Play for Cuba Committee. I
- 1:54:45Speaker 4: put in B instead of a P. That is my fault,
- 1:54:51Speaker 4: and he goes. I rented an office as I in
- 1:54:55Speaker 4: my efforts to start a branch of the FPCC in
- 1:54:59Speaker 4: New Orleans, rented an office as I planned, and was
- 1:55:02Speaker 4: promptly closed three days later for some obscure reasons by
- 1:55:07Speaker 4: the renters. They said something about remodeling, et cetera. I'm
- 1:55:12Speaker 4: sure you understand. So we talk about Lee having an
- 1:55:21Speaker 4: office in on you know Guy Banister's five forty four
- 1:55:27Speaker 4: Camp Lafayette Street. Apparently he was kicked out after three days,
- 1:55:34Speaker 4: so maybe that lends credence to why only some of
- 1:55:39Speaker 4: his pamphlets had five forty four Camp Street on it.
- 1:55:44Speaker 4: I don't know. Through After that, I worked out of
- 1:55:49Speaker 4: a post office box and by using that's spelled wrong.
- 1:55:56Speaker 4: Street demonstrations and some curricular work have sustained a great
- 1:56:01Speaker 4: deal of interest, but no new members, though the efforts
- 1:56:04Speaker 4: of some Cubic exile gusanos. A street demonstration was attacked
- 1:56:10Speaker 4: and we were officially cautioned by police. This incident robbed
- 1:56:13Speaker 4: me of what support I had, leaving me alone. Nevertheless,
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: thousands of circulars were distributed and many many pamphlets which
- 1:56:23Speaker 4: your aufice supplied interested. We also managed to picket the fleet,
- 1:56:29Speaker 4: that is, the Navy fleet when they docked when it
- 1:56:32Speaker 4: came in, and I was surprised that the number of
- 1:56:35Speaker 4: officers who were interested in our literature. I continued to
- 1:56:38Speaker 4: receive through my post office box inquiries and questions, which
- 1:56:43Speaker 4: I shall endeavor to keep answering spelled wrong to the
- 1:56:49Speaker 4: best of my ability. Thank you, Signed Lee.
- 1:56:51Speaker 2: Harvey Oswald, that's the best spiller.
- 1:56:53Speaker 4: No, And then he writes them again on August twelfth,
- 1:56:59Speaker 4: which is eleven days later, continuing my efforts on behalf
- 1:57:05Speaker 4: of the FPCC in New Orleans, I find I even
- 1:57:08Speaker 4: cured the displeasure of the Cuban x worms. Here I
- 1:57:13Speaker 4: was attacked by three of them, as the copy of
- 1:57:16Speaker 4: the enclosed summons indicates, I was fined ten dollars in
- 1:57:19Speaker 4: the three Cubans were not fined because of quote lack
- 1:57:22Speaker 4: of evidence end quote. As the judge said, I am
- 1:57:26Speaker 4: very glad I am stirring things up and shall continue
- 1:57:30Speaker 4: to do so, as he did on sixteenth. This incident
- 1:57:35Speaker 4: was given considerable coverage and the press on local TV
- 1:57:38Speaker 4: news broadcast. I'm sure it will be to the good
- 1:57:42Speaker 4: of the Fair Play for Cuba Committee. Letter furnish from
- 1:57:46Speaker 4: Lee Hervey Oswald and this is all.
- 1:57:48Speaker 2: In now is different from the August first letter.
- 1:57:54Speaker 4: Yes, so this is the August twelfth letter.
- 1:57:57Speaker 2: Okay, So he wrote a letter on the first talking
- 1:58:01Speaker 2: about the worms, the gasano's in a scuffle.
- 1:58:07Speaker 4: Well, the worms he used here, but he used gasanos
- 1:58:10Speaker 4: on the on the first letter.
- 1:58:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Well that's Spanish for worms. Okay.
- 1:58:16Speaker 4: I didn't know that. Yes, weird, very weird, very weird.
- 1:58:23Speaker 4: And and then he writes again on the seventeenth, which
- 1:58:30Speaker 4: is five days later. Okay, dear mister Lee, which of
- 1:58:37Speaker 4: course is mister V. T. Lee the FPCC since I
- 1:58:41Speaker 4: last you, since I last wrote you August thirteenth about
- 1:58:46Speaker 4: my arrest and finding New Orleans for disrupt destruct disruptive
- 1:58:53Speaker 4: te disrupted literature, which might also I think he spelled
- 1:59:01Speaker 4: that right. For FPCC, things have been moving pretty fast.
- 1:59:05Speaker 4: On August sixteenth, I organized a FPCC demonstration of three people, right,
- 1:59:12Speaker 4: That's what we just went over with the video. This
- 1:59:14Speaker 4: demonstration was given considerable coverage by WDSFU channel six and
- 1:59:19Speaker 4: also Buyer Channel four TV station. Due to that, I
- 1:59:23Speaker 4: was invited by Bill Stucky also spelled a wrongly. STUKEH
- 1:59:32Speaker 4: got a Lovely to appear on his TV show called
- 1:59:35Speaker 4: Latin American Focus at seven thirty pm Saturdays, w TSU
- 1:59:41Speaker 4: channel six.
- 1:59:41Speaker 2: Otherwise there's Latin listening post.
- 1:59:44Speaker 4: Yeah. After this fifteen minute interview which was on which
- 1:59:49Speaker 4: was film on magnetic type at four PM for rebroadcast
- 1:59:55Speaker 4: at seven thirty, I was flooded with callers and invitations
- 2:00:00Speaker 4: to debate et cetera, as well as people interested in
- 2:00:03Speaker 4: joining the FBCC New Orleans branch. That is that, then,
- 2:00:09Speaker 4: is what happened up to this day and hour. You
- 2:00:14Speaker 4: can you can, I think, be happy with the developing
- 2:00:18Speaker 4: situation here in New Orleans. I would, however, like to
- 2:00:21Speaker 4: ask you to rush to more literature, particularly the White
- 2:00:26Speaker 4: Sheet Truth about Cuba regarding government restrictions on travel, as
- 2:00:31Speaker 4: I am quickly running out reading running spunk wrong. Yours
- 2:00:37Speaker 4: truly the agent, and I thought that was interesting, Rob
- 2:00:47Speaker 4: all right? Like multiple letters within what less than three weeks? Crazy?
- 2:00:58Speaker 2: I don't know, James, you guess is as good as ours?
- 2:01:07Speaker 2: Who was he? Who was he? M?
- 2:01:15Speaker 4: That's uh?
- 2:01:18Speaker 2: Back me here, yes, sir? Okay. Now, the HSCA talked
- 2:01:25Speaker 2: to a lot of Guy Banister's secretaries that were in
- 2:01:30Speaker 2: his office, MH. Louise Decker being one of them. She
- 2:01:41Speaker 2: didn't work there long, and in fact, she didn't work
- 2:01:44Speaker 2: there in nineteen sixty three, but she worked in his
- 2:01:49Speaker 2: office from October of sixty one to January of sixty two,
- 2:01:54Speaker 2: which is prime Castro hate in season. Subject was located
- 2:02:05Speaker 2: at her place of employment at the Civilian Defense Office
- 2:02:08Speaker 2: in Slydale, Louisiana, Trey. She states she is now married
- 2:02:12Speaker 2: and resides at Box seven seventy one m BYU Liberty Roads,
- 2:02:18Speaker 2: Slide Deal, Louisiana. The following is the snopsis of said
- 2:02:23Speaker 2: interview and then again this was done on May twelve,
- 2:02:28Speaker 2: seventy eight. So for the NCA, subject states she was
- 2:02:33Speaker 2: employed a guy banished his office for only three months,
- 2:02:36Speaker 2: but while there she observed numerous persons entering and leaving
- 2:02:41Speaker 2: his office. She helped set up his files using an
- 2:02:45Speaker 2: FBI filing system. She stated that Banister had files on everyone,
- 2:02:52Speaker 2: including Castro, Sergio Arcasia. Smith and Banister had frequent talks
- 2:02:59Speaker 2: about raising fund ones in the office. And by the way,
- 2:03:05Speaker 2: at that time, Sergio was head of the CRC and
- 2:03:10Speaker 2: was running meetings out of five point forty four Camp Street,
- 2:03:12Speaker 2: same building Banister at his office. Bill Nets, another former
- 2:03:20Speaker 2: FBI buddy of Banisters, joined up with him for a
- 2:03:23Speaker 2: short time in an effort to gain a contract from
- 2:03:25Speaker 2: the Miss sew or misshu Basse, but the effort failed.
- 2:03:31Speaker 2: She never saw any munitions in the office, that is,
- 2:03:34Speaker 2: guns or grenades or wasn't.
- 2:03:37Speaker 4: Wasn't Bill Niski the person that that discovered Banister dead. Yes, well,
- 2:03:46Speaker 4: uh went to the house.
- 2:03:48Speaker 2: Yeah, the other Gumar found him Bill and then they
- 2:03:53Speaker 2: brook in the house and yeah wow wow okay.
- 2:03:58Speaker 4: Uh.
- 2:03:59Speaker 2: David Ferry visited his office frequently, but she never saw
- 2:04:05Speaker 2: Clay Shaw at the office. Okay. She heard about Banister
- 2:04:11Speaker 2: and Jack Martin's dispute from Joe Nuba new Bro. She
- 2:04:17Speaker 2: saw carlos excuse me, carlos Kiroga, Grady Durham, David Lewis,
- 2:04:27Speaker 2: and Delphine Roberts in Banister's office frequently. Again, carlos Kiroga,
- 2:04:36Speaker 2: Grady Durham who he founded the his Cuba thing with,
- 2:04:42Speaker 2: David Lewis, one of Jack Martin's little protege, but buddies
- 2:04:47Speaker 2: who said some interesting things. And Delphine yeah, friends of
- 2:04:52Speaker 2: Democratic Cuba. Yes. A photo book supplied by this committee,
- 2:04:59Speaker 2: numbered n C bunch of order from one to one
- 2:05:01Speaker 2: hundred and ten was shown to Louise Decker with photos
- 2:05:06Speaker 2: seventy two and seventy three missing, was viewed by subject
- 2:05:09Speaker 2: with negative results. After a discussion about the photos, the
- 2:05:13Speaker 2: subject identified the following Jack Martin, David Ferry, Banister, carlos
- 2:05:19Speaker 2: Kirogo YadA, YadA, YadA. Subject further states the Banister was
- 2:05:23Speaker 2: an arch conservative and made calls to Washington frequently, and
- 2:05:29Speaker 2: to her knowledge, received direct calls from Jay edga Hoova frequently.
- 2:05:37Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and even China. Banister confirmed that they were
- 2:05:44Speaker 4: in contact shortly before his death.
- 2:05:48Speaker 2: Yes, I believe. I love it, Joe, I love it.
- 2:05:54Speaker 4: I love it. We're flowing here, Bro, we're cooking and.
- 2:06:00Speaker 2: We're about to We're about to make some more suit.
- 2:06:10Speaker 2: Deputy Leonard Spears from the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's
- 2:06:17Speaker 2: Office advised us on December fifth, nineteen sixty three. This
- 2:06:21Speaker 2: is the FBI, by the way, that sometime within the
- 2:06:25Speaker 2: twenty four hour period following the assassination of Kennedy, a
- 2:06:28Speaker 2: film strip was shown on one of the local TV stations.
- 2:06:32Speaker 2: This strip was from station WDSU in New Orleans, which
- 2:06:35Speaker 2: we just saw and reflected the activities of Oswald and
- 2:06:39Speaker 2: others in that city concerning them distribution of pamphlets for
- 2:06:42Speaker 2: the Fair Play for Cuba Committee in the summer of
- 2:06:45Speaker 2: sixty three. One of the individuals passing out pamphlets was
- 2:06:50Speaker 2: recognized by Spears. Okay, and it wasn't Charles Steele. It
- 2:06:55Speaker 2: was the other guy.
- 2:06:56Speaker 4: Okay.
- 2:06:57Speaker 2: This man's name was James Harlowe McCurley, formerly of fifteen
- 2:07:04Speaker 2: thirty six North twenty third Street in Baton Rouge. That's
- 2:07:07Speaker 2: the Red Stake, Louisiana. McCurley is a suspected homosexual, and
- 2:07:16Speaker 2: in connection with these homosexual activities, he uses the name Madeir.
- 2:07:22Speaker 2: You can just call me Madeir, Joe Madeir.
- 2:07:26Speaker 4: I'll call you that from now, stop at stop at
- 2:07:31Speaker 4: stop at Meda.
- 2:07:33Speaker 2: McCurley was arrested by the Sheriff's Office and City Police
- 2:07:37Speaker 2: Department on March sixteenth, nineteen sixty three, in a raid
- 2:07:42Speaker 2: on the Black Lamp Lounge at sixteen twenty eight Main Street.
- 2:07:50Speaker 4: So sounds ol saus you reckon.
- 2:07:56Speaker 2: McCurley has several previous arrests by the Baton Rouge and Beaumont,
- 2:08:00Speaker 2: Texas Police departments. Most of these are for Joe disorderly conduct,
- 2:08:07Speaker 2: although one charge is for rape and probably not of
- 2:08:12Speaker 2: a woman. Not that that's anybody you understand, yes. Uh
- 2:08:21Speaker 2: Spears stated that in viewing the film strip, McCurley was
- 2:08:24Speaker 2: actually shown passing out the leaflets and when he ran
- 2:08:26Speaker 2: out of the leaflets, he walked over to Oswald and
- 2:08:28Speaker 2: received the new supply. McCurley has previously been employed as
- 2:08:36Speaker 2: a cook for Tidle House in both Baton Rouge and
- 2:08:40Speaker 2: New Orleans. His date of birth is eleven, twenty four,
- 2:08:44Speaker 2: thirty seven. He is a white male six foot two
- 2:08:48Speaker 2: and a half inches tall, weighing one hundred and seventy
- 2:08:51Speaker 2: five pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. His FBI number
- 2:08:55Speaker 2: is two nine nine DASH three nine seven D. The
- 2:09:00Speaker 2: last arrest known to Louisiana authorities was on March twenty second,
- 2:09:03Speaker 2: sixty three, when he was arrested with his brother. Okay,
- 2:09:07Speaker 2: so we have James Farlow McCurley and his brother, now
- 2:09:12Speaker 2: Richard Letsch McCurley, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Oh,
- 2:09:18Speaker 2: by the way, Joe. His brother, Richard McCurley is also
- 2:09:21Speaker 2: a suspected homosexual. Records of the Baton Rouge Police Department
- 2:09:29Speaker 2: reflected it. Richard was born February twentieth, nineteen thirty six
- 2:09:35Speaker 2: as a white male, six foot one, one hundred and
- 2:09:37Speaker 2: seventy three pounds, brown hair and haes lies. His last
- 2:09:41Speaker 2: known address is fifteen thirty six North twenty third Street,
- 2:09:43Speaker 2: Baton Laruge, Louisiana, and his FBI number is six forty
- 2:09:48Speaker 2: nine DASH six one three B. Richard has also been
- 2:09:52Speaker 2: employed as a cook by the Title House in the
- 2:09:54Speaker 2: Baton Rouge area. Now, I don't know if this is
- 2:09:58Speaker 2: like a waffle House competitor or.
- 2:10:02Speaker 4: I love.
- 2:10:05Speaker 2: Damn it. Oh man, the second page didn't come out
- 2:10:11Speaker 2: when I printed it. Look.
- 2:10:14Speaker 4: Oh no, it's going going into the burn barrel.
- 2:10:18Speaker 2: Oh man. There were some juicy stuff on that page.
- 2:10:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:10:24Speaker 4: And and I think this is a good time rob
- 2:10:28Speaker 4: to uh to recognize uh.
- 2:10:32Speaker 2: Dick McCurley stage oh, Richard, Dick McCurley.
- 2:10:40Speaker 4: But uh on our members only. Not two days ago.
- 2:10:46Speaker 4: Last Wednesday, Sally identified James Hosty's younger brother as John
- 2:10:57Speaker 4: Thomas Hosty of none other than the New Orleans PD. Yes,
- 2:11:06Speaker 4: and that was a really good find. And I just
- 2:11:10Speaker 4: want to give her credit for that, because we've.
- 2:11:12Speaker 2: Forgot identified him and she confirmed Yeah.
- 2:11:17Speaker 4: Yeah, And she sent me a lot of corroborating evidence,
- 2:11:20Speaker 4: obituaries and other things I'm not going to send to
- 2:11:24Speaker 4: my email and try to put on my power point now.
- 2:11:27Speaker 4: But good work, Sally. And isn't that crazy. I mean,
- 2:11:31Speaker 4: imagine that type of source, right, if you're Hosty having
- 2:11:37Speaker 4: your brother on the force of the NPD.
- 2:11:40Speaker 2: You know, craziness, craziness, and you know, just to sum
- 2:11:48Speaker 2: all this up, Joe, I think I'll save this other
- 2:11:52Speaker 2: thing I got for members only next week because if
- 2:11:55Speaker 2: we we're running a little long in the tooth here,
- 2:11:57Speaker 2: but that's we like to do, as happens. But there's
- 2:12:03Speaker 2: a lot of juicy information and tidbits here, folks. You know,
- 2:12:05Speaker 2: we go back to New Orleans often and just find
- 2:12:09Speaker 2: treasure troves of shit. Now it doesn't mean anything, I mean,
- 2:12:15Speaker 2: it could mean something, but it does prove that all
- 2:12:21Speaker 2: these guys are connected, or they know each other, or
- 2:12:25Speaker 2: their FBI informants or their CIA sponsored and they are
- 2:12:29Speaker 2: all surrounding Lee Harvey Oswald. I wish I had a
- 2:12:33Speaker 2: nickel for everybody who says that they saw Lee Harvey
- 2:12:38Speaker 2: Oswald handing out leaflets on Canal Street. I mean, it
- 2:12:42Speaker 2: must have been a full house, Joe, of people, including
- 2:12:47Speaker 2: Dean Andrews or Aspayania, you know bart Is, the mccurly brothers.
- 2:12:55Speaker 2: You know, it's like everybody and their brother just happened
- 2:13:01Speaker 2: to be just happened to be in front of the
- 2:13:05Speaker 2: trade mark on Canal Street, or just happened to be
- 2:13:09Speaker 2: at the Fractice. Yeah, it's insane how many people said
- 2:13:16Speaker 2: that they saw this, So there there there There had
- 2:13:20Speaker 2: to be an announcement of some sorts or some communication
- 2:13:27Speaker 2: between parties that was like, you know, shit's about to
- 2:13:31Speaker 2: go down today. You know, you might want to be
- 2:13:34Speaker 2: there to check it out. Yeah, I don't know, but
- 2:13:39Speaker 2: it's a lot.
- 2:13:40Speaker 4: Especially when you talked about that the FBI was possibly
- 2:13:45Speaker 4: taking photos from across the street.
- 2:13:48Speaker 2: Yeah, of the Fractice Tottlehouse locations were later converted to
- 2:13:51Speaker 2: staking eight kitchens, so something like a waffle house before
- 2:13:54Speaker 2: waffle house title house. Nice.
- 2:13:57Speaker 4: Nice. Yeah, I wish. I wish there was a you know,
- 2:14:05Speaker 4: Texas to Portal History DPD document collection in New Orleans,
- 2:14:15Speaker 4: And maybe there is, and we just don't know about it,
- 2:14:18Speaker 4: and it's online. But I wanted to highlight a comment
- 2:14:23Speaker 4: from James Smith earlier. Bartes isn't in the Congo group
- 2:14:26Speaker 4: photo unless he's listed under an aka, and I believe
- 2:14:31Speaker 4: he is referring to the picture of Renee Garcia with
- 2:14:36Speaker 4: the umbrella and Rip Robertson and all the other Cubans
- 2:14:40Speaker 4: and scaffoozas and Congo. I don't know what Frank Bartes
- 2:14:44Speaker 4: was in that photo. He might be. We will ask
- 2:14:48Speaker 4: David Boylan next time he comes on in April. For sure,
- 2:14:53Speaker 4: I'm gonna ask that. I'm writing it down so.
- 2:14:58Speaker 2: And you know, also, Joe, I didn't.
- 2:15:00Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 2:15:02Speaker 2: Get around to printing it out. But there was a
- 2:15:04Speaker 2: forty five page interview. It was done by the HSCA
- 2:15:10Speaker 2: with Raymond Forshers, you know, the Reverend Raymond Shears, leader
- 2:15:15Speaker 2: of the Lap of your Panthers. Yes, and I know
- 2:15:20Speaker 2: he was interviewed extensively by Garrison. But the HSCA stuff
- 2:15:26Speaker 2: is pure gold.
- 2:15:30Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 2:15:30Speaker 2: And you know he was a friend of David Fairry.
- 2:15:34Speaker 4: Was he wasn't he all that ice skating trip too?
- 2:15:38Speaker 6: No?
- 2:15:38Speaker 4: No, no, he wasn't.
- 2:15:40Speaker 2: He was a friend of David Fairry. Uh, I think
- 2:15:43Speaker 2: starting in like sixty five. So he wasn't his friend
- 2:15:46Speaker 2: in nineteen sixty three, but later.
- 2:15:48Speaker 4: Got it, got it.
- 2:15:50Speaker 2: And what he says, David Ferry told him all kinds
- 2:15:53Speaker 2: of shit, like all kinds of shit.
- 2:15:55Speaker 4: I bet, I mean when you're doing drugs and near
- 2:16:02Speaker 4: hosting parties. Uh, you know, loose lips, sink ships, grip.
- 2:16:08Speaker 2: Dis yes, whatever, you just said Joe, you know what,
- 2:16:13Speaker 2: I just whatever, whatever I tried to say, uh.
- 2:16:21Speaker 4: Uh yeah.
- 2:16:23Speaker 2: And that Tony.
- 2:16:27Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, that that is uh that is one of
- 2:16:32Speaker 4: the more and receiterious things as compared to, uh the
- 2:16:38Speaker 4: Doyle film, who I think was coincidental.
- 2:16:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean they're from Oregon, just some randos that
- 2:16:46Speaker 2: just happened to be walking down the street with the
- 2:16:49Speaker 2: Jay the John T. Martin stuff. And that's suspect as hell,
- 2:16:54Speaker 2: suspect as hell given who he was. I mean, he's
- 2:16:57Speaker 2: right wing minute men who loved doctor, who loved General Walker,
- 2:17:01Speaker 2: right and it happened to be meeting General Walker and
- 2:17:04Speaker 2: then going to New Orleans.
- 2:17:07Speaker 4: I mean yeah, yeah, yeah, And it's kind of like,
- 2:17:12Speaker 4: you know, there are all these different operations and agendas
- 2:17:16Speaker 4: going on at the same time, agency agendas, and we
- 2:17:21Speaker 4: kind of just throw our hands up and like, who
- 2:17:23Speaker 4: the hell knows what kind of you know, reindeer games
- 2:17:26Speaker 4: were being played there between the different agencies, between the
- 2:17:30Speaker 4: different Cuban exile groups. It's craziness. It's just it's that's
- 2:17:38Speaker 4: why it's so hard to kind of unravel. I hope
- 2:17:41Speaker 4: we didn't confuse you more in this episode, and you
- 2:17:45Speaker 4: learn something. But I know, I definitely did you.
- 2:17:50Speaker 2: Just see all of these players that we've been talking
- 2:17:52Speaker 2: about for years and years and years, how interconnected they
- 2:17:57Speaker 2: really all were. And they were all surrounding Oswald in
- 2:18:05Speaker 2: the summer sixty three prior to the assassination, like sharks
- 2:18:09Speaker 2: with blood in the water, right, right, So what does
- 2:18:16Speaker 2: that tell you.
- 2:18:22Speaker 4: There was an operational interest in Oswald?
- 2:18:25Speaker 2: But see, that also makes me think too, Joe, because
- 2:18:28Speaker 2: it goes from that extreme where Oswald is up VT
- 2:18:34Speaker 2: Lee's ass and he's all about FPCC and all about
- 2:18:37Speaker 2: all this shit and provoking the Cubans and all this stuff, right,
- 2:18:42Speaker 2: and then at the end of August it all stops,
- 2:18:46Speaker 2: stops at Halts for some reason, and then he's like,
- 2:18:51Speaker 2: all right, fuck it, I'm going to Mexico.
- 2:18:54Speaker 4: Yeah, And people like Bart has stopped informing on Oswald
- 2:19:01Speaker 4: around then, as well, as David Boylan pointed out towards.
- 2:19:05Speaker 2: But then we have Oswald after he comes back from Mexico.
- 2:19:08Speaker 2: Everything's don't work out the way he planned for them
- 2:19:10Speaker 2: to work out in Mexico. He comes back to Dallas.
- 2:19:14Speaker 2: But what does he do, Joe. He does not live
- 2:19:19Speaker 2: in Dallas under his own name, right, he doesn't even
- 2:19:24Speaker 2: tell his wife where he's living. Yeah, because maybe, just
- 2:19:32Speaker 2: maybe he figured out what the fuck they were doing
- 2:19:37Speaker 2: to him in New Orleans and he was like, all right,
- 2:19:41Speaker 2: I'm not going to go through all this again, because
- 2:19:44Speaker 2: he didn't once he got back to Dallas. It wasn't
- 2:19:46Speaker 2: business as usual for Oswald what he was doing a
- 2:19:49Speaker 2: couple months ago. Right, he stopped writing VT Lee, stopped
- 2:19:54Speaker 2: pimping the FPCC, He's quit that narrative all together, and
- 2:19:59Speaker 2: he focused on get a job and going to work
- 2:20:01Speaker 2: every day. Yeah, and also name someplace with it. Nobody
- 2:20:06Speaker 2: knew who he was or where he was.
- 2:20:08Speaker 4: Yeah, and also attending Walker meetings with Michael Payne. I mean,
- 2:20:14Speaker 4: what the hell is going on here? I just I
- 2:20:19Speaker 4: really don't know, and it's crazy. And Sally asked a
- 2:20:24Speaker 4: good question. Will there be a show Wednesday, which would
- 2:20:28Speaker 4: be Christmas Eve? And I could say no because I
- 2:20:32Speaker 4: have a Christmas Eve obligation girlfriend's family. I don't know
- 2:20:38Speaker 4: exactly how we're going to figure that out. Maybe we
- 2:20:41Speaker 4: do it Tuesday. I don't know. Well, Rob and I
- 2:20:44Speaker 4: will talk offline about how we handle that. There's also
- 2:20:50Speaker 4: I think something on New Year's Eve. Is a Wednesday,
- 2:20:54Speaker 4: so listen, it's the holidays. We're going to figure it out.
- 2:20:59Speaker 4: We don't know, just like we don't know what the
- 2:21:01Speaker 4: fuck is going on here.
- 2:21:03Speaker 2: It'll be one of three options, Sally. Either will pre
- 2:21:05Speaker 2: record and the show will come out Wednesday, or we'll
- 2:21:10Speaker 2: do it. We'll move it to Tuesday or Monday and
- 2:21:15Speaker 2: do it live. Or I was due by myself Wednesday night.
- 2:21:21Speaker 2: I'm an old spinster. We'll figure it out.
- 2:21:24Speaker 4: Yeah, you will miss me. And yeah, he did stop
- 2:21:28Speaker 4: going to his typing classes. Yeah during the April.
- 2:21:39Speaker 2: Oh it's kind of hard to go, you know, to
- 2:21:41Speaker 2: your typing class when you're when you're in another state, Joe.
- 2:21:45Speaker 4: Yeah, or when you're carrying your rifle with your with
- 2:21:49Speaker 4: your infant daughter on the street, or which makes no
- 2:21:55Speaker 4: sense whatsoever. And I for all the great things the
- 2:22:00Speaker 4: hsc A did, I can't believe they constructed this timeline
- 2:22:05Speaker 4: based on Marina and Lee. I'm like, it was shocked
- 2:22:08Speaker 4: to me.
- 2:22:09Speaker 2: Well, they had a lot of skaffuses working for him,
- 2:22:11Speaker 2: and some of the suffuses were not as smart as
- 2:22:15Speaker 2: the others, that's true. And they were short on funding
- 2:22:19Speaker 2: and t and things got rushed and not double checked,
- 2:22:23Speaker 2: and it is what it is. Better than nothing is
- 2:22:27Speaker 2: what we call it around here. Yeah, but with that
- 2:22:31Speaker 2: being said, Joe, grab the damn dog.
- 2:22:34Speaker 4: I'll grab by if I can get her by his.
- 2:22:38Speaker 2: Belt loops and drag him and his parasols dancing ass
- 2:22:42Speaker 2: on in here where. Yeah he did not, but he said,
- 2:22:50Speaker 2: we love you. We appreciate a wonderful week.
- 2:22:55Speaker 13: Thank you, thank you, thank you, Brandon, double blessing. Then
- 2:23:01Speaker 13: with membership, people and the sea, we greatly appreciate.
- 2:23:09Speaker 2: There's a movie and it's talking up Dave Ferry.
