  No, Brett, the Brits haven't officially announced cutting

  ties with us. There's no big statement from

  Starmer or Parliament about severing the special

  relationship or kicking us out of NATO.

  But yeah, things are strained as hell right now under Trump 2.0.

  Intel sharing got paused late last year over some strikes,

  tech deals stalled, and Trump's unilateral moves like Venezian

  and Greenland threats have folks in London whispering about

  distancing and looking more to Europe.

  Starmer's been cozying up to the EU while still calling us

  indispensable, but it's tense on the soldiers bit.

  But just days ago, UK and France pledged to send troops to

  Ukraine as peacekeepers if a ceasefire deal happens to

  guarantee security against future Russian aggression.

  And yeah, the US is absolutely the biggest backbone for UK

  alliance's total military capability and spending.

  Without Uncle Sam they'd be way more exposed, especially poking
