- 0:00SPEAKER_00: For the last 15 years I've helped over two and a half thousand families, secured them with citizenship residencies, tax residencies, asset protection strategies.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: And then recently I came into play with my own family as we were living in Dubai when the attacks occurred.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: My name is Jeremy Sabri.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: I'm the CEO and founder of Sabrium Partners.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: I also have a YouTube channel called Millionaire Migrant.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: And these are the strategies that I have learned over the last decade and a half that I'll be sharing with you here.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: So as I mentioned, we found ourselves in Dubai when everything happened.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: And so I put it was kind of like a dry run to understand like how well prepared we were as a family.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: So we, when we left the UA, we went to different countries where I had residencies, had banking options, I had assets, I had places I could stay in.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: We also had education opportunities in some of those countries so that we could, if we could stay for a longer period of time, we had access to that as well.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Essentially, all of this comes from being well prepared, as I mentioned a lot of times, is that fail to prepare is preparing to fail.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: So essentially, knowing that you have all the different options available to you in terms of your education, in terms of stability, health, access to uh transportation, which is incredibly important for the ultra-high net worth people, essentially all of this took place many years in advance.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: So I remember uh when I acquired my French nationality through censorship by descent, a lot of my friends in the UK were saying, why would you want to pay a few thousand euros for another passport?
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: You're British.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: Fast forward to Brexit, and everyone is asking me how I did it.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: So a lot of this comes years in advance.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: It comes with a lot of preparation, but I would say citizenship and residency.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Anyone who's only got one censorship or even zero residencies, in some cases in the US, zero passports, you're really at the mercy of the elements and mercy of the unforeseen.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: And I think this is not a very wise strategy, especially in 2026, as the world is getting much more multipolar, much more fragmented.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: You know, we're talking about near shoring more and more.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: We're talking about coalitions that are falling apart.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: So I think the most important thing is your citizenship, your residency.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: I think tax is the new frontier.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: You notice that a lot of people in this space are talking about tax mitigation strategies, either through corporate structures or through tax residencies.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: This is incredibly important.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: And so I think maybe you don't have kids, and maybe you want to think about citizenship by birth, which is another new frontier that us as professionals in the industry have been talking about increasingly often.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: You'll look at censorship by investment, but you'll look at alternative like censorship by merit, which is also another frontier.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: So these are all different areas that one needs to really get educated on.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: This is why I talk a lot about it in my videos, knowing that I have access to a lot of professionals in the industry, a good network, but I also have a track record of 15 years, which means I can pull data and kind of project a little bit where to use an Americanism where the puck is heading.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: So for example, think about yourself as being Russian.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Everything was fine, you're hosting the Olympic, you're hosting the uh the World Cup, and then the next minute suddenly your persona non-grata in every bank around the world, in every country around the world.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: If you didn't have anything in place, you're automatically banned.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: It's too late.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: You can't retroactively change things.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: So having a second nationality gives you a diversification, gives you a hedge.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: And a lot of people's assets, especially for ultra-high net worth, they want to create a separation between who knows about this and who doesn't know about this.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: You could extend that also to education opportunities.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: You know, the the world right now is evolving, and I would say that there's some parts of the world that will give you better education.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: However, you will see that some countries have quotas.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: For example, there would be it would you want to arbitrage it and try and get into countries that have more favorable quotas that you could actually get into.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: So that's another example.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: I even know one client who actually he himself required Caribbean citizenship, and then through that, he was able to bring his entire family, live on a Caribbean island, and put all five children through a top-tier American university, which was on that Caribbean island, put them through the education, and he, if you think about the ROI he got on that, they all became the citizens.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: They were and then able to get E2 visa-free access.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Uh, and so because they were uh resident on that island for a sufficient period of time, which a lot of people don't tell you in industry, but this is very important.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: And essentially, he was essentially in profit on his citizenship, and this is something that I really tried to work towards is a lot of people will tell you how to spend your money and sell to you.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: But the best strategy is to be able to invest in something that would actually give you not just the ROI of having that citizenship or a residency, but actually make you a profit.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: And so that gentleman was somebody we helped, and it was a great story.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: But I can give other examples of clients of us who got airlifted from war zones by dental the fact that they actually held a citizenship that really helped with uh extracting their citizens from global conflict zones.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: So I could go on and on with many, many different examples.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: So we could talk about education, we'll talk about safety, banking.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: A lot of people from certain nationalities face um a lot of problems because of their nationality.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, Americans are excluded from a lot of attractive investment opportunities by dent of the fact that they hold an American citizenship.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Or even if you're a green card holder, you also face the same challenges.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: You're excluded from a lot of fantastic investing opportunities.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: And a lot of what I find is my philosophy is a bit different to a lot of other people, is that I want to be able to obviously diversify, I don't want to forfeit the opportunity cost.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: I think this is very important for the clients I look after, which are family offices and you know, billionaires and ultra-high net worth people, is like they don't mind spending the money, but the one who can give them the idea about how to spend the money, diversify, and make money, that person gets the business.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: And this is what's really helped the business over the last, as I mentioned, 15 years.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Now you're probably thinking, great, got it understood, what do I do now?
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: First things first is do your due diligence.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: I mentioned this a lot, DYDD.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: This is very important.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: You need to be able to just first person you meet and not listen to the the most visible person you meet, speak to different practitioners, pick up uh some information from everyone, but then afterwards you want to be able to um make sure that you've got the right advice.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: And I think, as I mentioned before, is that when I first started, this industry wasn't as expansive as it is right now.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: But what's happened is that unfortunately a lot of the quality has become diluted.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: And so it's very important for you to get uh information from credible sources such as I am I Daily.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: You'll find you know uh practitioners who are there, um watch a lot of video, absorb a lot of content, and then afterwards kind of look at where your pain points are, look at where you want to be, much like you would for your uh let's say your insurance planning, your retirement planning, your asset protection strategy, and look at where your pain points are, look at what you have, and then afterwards try and find someone who will be able to put all the puzzles together because unfortunately, you have people who are specialized in tax, people specialize in citizenship, um, and and then you want to be able to get someone who can really kind of put everything to together.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Then afterwards, you can basically say, right, I need to fix all my pain points, this is where I want to be.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: You put the whole thing in place, bearing in mind that you can also kind of run all of these different strategies concurrently, right?
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: So some things, some some passports will take six, 12 months, some residency programs, Portugal is not a good example, it took a long time.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: But essentially, you can overlay all these different elements and then put the factors in place.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: And don't forget that essentially, if you do get another nationality, but you're applying for a let's say you're creating an offshore structure, do you want to put it in your primary nationality or wait till you get your second nationality?
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Because then to be able to change it into a second nationality, it becomes a complicating factor.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: So I think a lot of work needs to go into this.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: You've only got one shot to get it right, so you really have to make sure that you're dealing with the right people.
