Portletico Takes the Plunge for Charity | Aberdeen News
Portletico FC is taking the plunge—literally—swimming 22 miles in icy North Sea waters to raise $5,000 for local charities The Larder and the Archie Foundation, building on three years of record-breaking fundraisers that’ve totaled over $20,000. Their deep community ties drive this mission: players grew up seeing neighbors struggle, and one player’s twins’ hospital stay inspired support for neonatal care. Even Scottish Parliament praised their impact. This isn’t just a swim—it’s a statement of grit, heart, and hometown heroism. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow…
