I was out of town. We did play some bets on Monday night football. ⁓ we have the slips to prove them too, which is good on the Chiefs. So that was great. had a had another couple prop bets here and there. ⁓ not gonna spend too much time on it, but the train is a rolling. The boys are on a little bit of a heater right now. One of our buddies actually just hit a touchdown parlay on Monday, a three-legger. ⁓ 25 bucks went $3,400. So vibes are vibes are high. ⁓ all right, let's start with, I guess. ⁓ go ahead. Yeah, the $25, yeah, to win $3,400 on on, you know, and it's of course the one, the one bad I never tail. Yeah, but let's start with the side. ⁓ go ahead, why don't you give us a little preview? What do you you know, give us give the people a little preview? Fade or Follow: Yeah, so the this yes we got two yeah, we got AFC vers Bills versus Lions, AFC versus NFC, two Super Bowl hopefuls ⁓ coming into this game, two high powered offenses with a couple of questionable defenses. ⁓ last week we had Bills versus Texans, thirty-six thirty-one final, both teams going up and down the field, absolute battle, just going right came down to the wire. Josh Allen threw a His missile to ⁓ it was drop Jordan Palmer to game winning touchdown, and ⁓ they got the ball last so they it was just they got the ball last so they won the game, and then Lions on the other side ⁓ played New Orleans, were up twenty-one to three, thought they were running away with it clear, and then a few mistakes here, there, and the other. ⁓ end up going into over end up Saints end up forcing over. Yeah. Saints Saints. Jacob Bunce: That game was a little extra sweaty for Yeah, this game was a little extra sweaty for for you and I 'cause we have ⁓ we have the Lions and ⁓ we have a a Survivor pool that we play too and we had the Lions week one, so Fade or Follow: And of Yeah, very sweaty. We thought we were I thought, yeah, I thought we were chilling. And then I look at my phone later in the afternoon. I'm like, ⁓ we are not chilling. We are so far away from chilling. ⁓ I'm but I I am also but I am glad that ⁓ the the Saints did decide to try to go for two in the overtime and to try to win the game, but they did not get it. So the Lions walked away from the game winners, but Jacob Bunce: Yeah. Fade or Follow: We would have one been we either would have been killed up killed in Survivor immediately. ⁓ but we managed to sneak out and but also for spread betters they are in shambles because they were up eighteen points in the second half and walked away with nothing. So ⁓ so but all all I saw with that again, he's he's just that guy. Yeah. Joe Joe Brady appears to have that Jacob Bunce: Yeah. Yeah, Josh Allen looked like an alien. Yeah. Yeah, three hundred and fifty seven yards, thirty six points. Unbelievable. And I think too, like, yeah, dude, and and you know, one of the biggest things here that I'll be interested to see what Detroit ends up doing is, you know, they tend to like to be aggressive, and I think they blitzed on forty three percent of the Saints dropbacks or the you know, almost half of of their dropbacks. And doing that against a vet of scrambling and moving out of the pocket Josh Allen, that can get dangerous. So it'll be interesting to see if they stay as aggressive as they did in week one. Fade or Follow: Yeah, for sure. I I have a hard time thinking they will because Brian both of their safeties got hurt last game and that's why one of the primary reasons the Saints were able to come back. So I have a I have a very hard I don't think they're gonna be bringing too much pressure just because they're so banged up on the back end and leaving them leaving those backups sa leaving a beat up secondary on an island w against Josh Allen just doesn't feel like a very smart game plan. So yeah, I I think ⁓ I don't think they'll be blitzing as much. ⁓ Jacob Bunce: Yeah. Yeah. I don't think so either. Fade or Follow: So but overall on the side in this game, I I really just I loved what I saw from Joe Brady and that Bucks offense. So I think the Lion I mean the Bucks can ⁓ not the Bucks, the Bills. Sorry, somebody sorry, some some Brady Bucks, Brady, Bucks, Bill so many Bs. ⁓ I think the Bills I like the Bills to cover the number here at minus four and a half. I just ⁓ I think the Lions defense is not good. I still think the s the the Texans offense is still Jacob Bunce: Bells. Sony Ps. Fade or Follow: for as much maligned as it was, it still has weapons. CJ Stroud is still a good player. And so the fact that they gave up some points to him, I'm not quite as concerned. and but giving up th giving up 30 points to Tyler Shook and a bunch of Chris and basically just Chris Olave is and all also along the injury front, you got two banged up safeties. You got three offensive linemen already out for Detroit. So their offensive their their run game is already probably gonna be a little bit compromised. So I really like the Bills laying the number here. And also is their home opener in the new stadium. So who's fading the Bills in that spot? I don't think it's it's not gonna be us. So give us the Bills minus the four and a half. Jacob Bunce: Yeah. Yep. ⁓ all right. I let's save the first touchdown for last. I think, you know, this this week instead of doing a traditional like receiving, rushing, receptions, ⁓ passing yards, passing touchdowns, we're actually gonna keep it in with that touchdown score. Now this line might be a little juicy for those who have some boosts and are degenerates, responsible degenerates like Grant and I. ⁓ we can move the line a bit. So one player that we really liked given Josh Allen scored two touchdowns on his own last week, this guy had had zero is Fade or Follow: James Coe. Let's go. James James, let him cook cook. Jacob Bunce: James Cook. Give us James Cook. Again, he's he's juicy. And funny enough, we we were looking at the the lines ⁓ before this, and Jameer Gibbs, I think, was minus three twenty, which is Fade or Follow: Minus three twenty for a touchdown score is just obscene. Like that that Jacob Bunce: That's like that was like Jeremiah Smith in ⁓ college football last year. Like, you know, it was like minus two sixty at one point. I'm like, I'm not gonna bet that. If you're if you're out there betting Gibbs minus three twenty, you are s a sick you are a sick freak. You are a sick freak puppy and you need to just cool it and bet cook with your boys. Fade or Follow: Yeah. Right, except Touchdowns for Yeah. Or does yes, exactly. Just ride the S. Just and this is a philosophy that we have had going back to last year. If James Cook's if James Cook scores one game, Josh Allen scored the next game. If Jos James Cook if Josh Allen scores a bunch the last game, James Cook is scoring. So we Jacob Bunce: ⁓ my gosh. Yeah. The thing the thing that sucked was it took us a long time to get onto that sh that that train because we would always pick opposites and it t you know, but when we got on we were on. So you know, let's let's keep that train going. Fade or Follow: Yeah. Yes. Yeah, we I think the last month of this exactly, I think the last yeah, it took us like twelve weeks to get there. We didn't bet it every week, but it took us like twelve weeks to get it. And then for the last six weeks of the year we were hitting it pretty consistent. So I'm pretty I I'm I'm happy I'm I'm I'm good with where we're at. Jacob Bunce: Ugh Yeah. Yeah, I I like cooking this. I like cooking this too. And you know, if if Gibbs scores one, Cook's gonna wanna deliver. So ⁓ all right. First touchdown score. There's a lot of of of people that Josh Allen and you know and the Bills can can score. Same thing, you know, obviously with the Lions. ⁓ this guy that we're leaning towards plus 1300, plus 1400. He has scored the first touchdown six times since twenty twenty three, which is just a fun stat. ⁓ I think the last time that he did it was back in November when they played Minnesota. So We think this man is is is due, to be honest with you. And that man is Sam Laporta. Give us Sam Lap Laporta Potty Porta. You know, we were looking at some others, we were looking at Coleman. I think I glanced at Shakir. I I don't know why, but Ty Johnson jumped out at me on the board like like some kind of sucker. But I don't know what it is. Laporta started screaming to me, I ⁓ Fade or Follow: Sam Porta Potty Laporta. Jacob Bunce: I started seeing double and this will just be an all-time hit once it happens because this is truly in anyone's game. But I could see the Lions wanting to make a statement and then the Bills blowing their back out. So give us the Fade or Follow: This would be beautiful. Exactly. Yes, and so let me just check in the odds on that really quick for the people that Sam Laporta first touchdown is a cool plus seventeen hundred. So Yeah. Yeah, plus seventeen hundred. So that feel that feels good. So yeah, so we got Bills on the spread, James Cook anytime, and Sam Laporta first touchdown score. Do not bet more than a quor like a tenth of a unit on these first touchdown scores. These are not Jacob Bunce: ⁓ seventeen, okay, even better. Even better.
