- 0:00Speaker 1: The Big Show Extra sponsored by Farah and Farah.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Here for you, Here.
- 0:05Speaker 3: For good, for your Monday. How's everybody doing? Good morning, John, Morning, Frog,
- 0:10Speaker 3: Welcome back, Megan.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Hi guys, some morning on Friday. Yes, I did miss you, guys.
- 0:15Speaker 4: I did. I was listening to you and you were
- 0:16Speaker 4: a cracking map on.
- 0:17Speaker 5: A scale of one to ten. How bad did you
- 0:19Speaker 5: miss us? Ten?
- 0:22Speaker 6: I heard.
- 0:22Speaker 7: It's weird hearing you two on the radio when I'm like,
- 0:26Speaker 7: I feel like I need to respond when I hear something.
- 0:29Speaker 5: You wanted to chime in from your car.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I did.
- 0:32Speaker 7: It was cool, but I was like, it's weird because
- 0:35Speaker 7: I feel like I'm having Filmo kind of Oh.
- 0:37Speaker 3: We were having that too, because it's just odd. Might
- 0:40Speaker 3: have been the first time frogging after just done it today.
- 0:43Speaker 3: It is, and so there's a whole different chemistry, I
- 0:46Speaker 3: mean getting to radio of it, but it is a
- 0:48Speaker 3: chemistry of just doing something like this and you take
- 0:50Speaker 3: this part, you take this part, and then we're kind
- 0:52Speaker 3: of looking at each other a couple of times, going
- 0:54Speaker 3: now what do we do?
- 0:56Speaker 4: You've said a whole morning without getting in trouble for anything.
- 0:58Speaker 6: Yes, we talked sports you hard morning on the air.
- 1:01Speaker 6: On the air and off the air, we talked sports.
- 1:03Speaker 5: Great.
- 1:04Speaker 7: Well, I'm glad you guys could get that out of
- 1:05Speaker 7: your systems right before March.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Madison's That's right exacts the final.
- 1:10Speaker 5: Yeah. But it was a beautiful weekend though.
- 1:12Speaker 3: I thought it was great. We had the Clay County
- 1:15Speaker 3: Fair Saturday. I had it last night. Got to say
- 1:17Speaker 3: hey to so many wonderful listeners and it was a blast.
- 1:20Speaker 3: The rain held off up until like the opener, but
- 1:23Speaker 3: people got inside the Cattleman's Arena were able to enjoy
- 1:26Speaker 3: the music. Brett Young came on a little after eight,
- 1:29Speaker 3: and that was great.
- 1:29Speaker 5: It was a great weekend, really was How was your
- 1:31Speaker 5: Eastern It was good.
- 1:33Speaker 4: I was at the beach and.
- 1:36Speaker 3: I think so too.
- 1:37Speaker 7: For it is Yeah, the things that make you feel
- 1:40Speaker 7: close to whatever it is that you believe, that's what
- 1:43Speaker 7: I like.
- 1:44Speaker 6: So cool the sunrise service yesterday at Jack's Beach at
- 1:47Speaker 6: the Seawalk Pavilion.
- 1:48Speaker 3: They said almost a thousand people there. Yeah, it was
- 1:51Speaker 3: a great. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Looked beautiful, John.
- 1:54Speaker 5: It was wonderful. We had a great time. We spent
- 1:57Speaker 5: day with my parents.
- 1:58Speaker 6: It was great, awesome, got some stuff done around the
- 2:00Speaker 6: house is a nice little, easy going, nice little Eastern.
- 2:03Speaker 4: So did you get your steps in on Easter?
- 2:05Speaker 6: I did over twenty five thousand to get that's four
- 2:07Speaker 6: sundays in a row. That over twenty four thousand steps.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Twenty four thousand steps in one day. I remember we
- 2:11Speaker 3: were talking about that because you went to Disney. Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 3: and we were just talking about I remember we walked
- 2:16Speaker 3: like thirteen miles.
- 2:17Speaker 5: How many steps is that?
- 2:18Speaker 6: Thirteen miles would be approximately twenty six thousand steps, Okay.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Like about two thousands. That's about what you did in
- 2:24Speaker 5: a day.
- 2:25Speaker 3: I remember we did that at Disney one time, and
- 2:27Speaker 3: we both looked at each other and felt our feet
- 2:29Speaker 3: are going to fall off.
- 2:30Speaker 5: This is what Frogy does every day.
- 2:33Speaker 7: Yesterday I walked less at Disney than he walked. I mean,
- 2:36Speaker 7: that's bizarre.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Thirteen miles yesterday. What the heck? I don't know how
- 2:40Speaker 5: you do it. But I walked half a marathon yesterday. Yeah. Half, yep.
- 2:46Speaker 4: You like becoming superhuman with all these steps.
- 2:48Speaker 5: I'm not. But but here's the thing is, I don't
- 2:51Speaker 5: Some people say, are you hurting? I don't. I'm not sore.
- 2:53Speaker 5: I'm not hurting anything. That's great because walking is good
- 2:55Speaker 5: for you. It is they were walking.
- 2:57Speaker 6: If you can walk, walking's good for you, low low impact,
- 3:00Speaker 6: it's our fresh air. Somebody told me to buy a
- 3:02Speaker 6: walking pad.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I have one.
- 3:04Speaker 5: What's a walking pad?
- 3:06Speaker 6: I guess it's kind of like a treadmill, but no,
- 3:08Speaker 6: no top to it. It's just a paddy, just.
- 3:10Speaker 7: Just a four part so it's not that big honky
- 3:12Speaker 7: treadmillion ever yet.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd never leave that.
- 3:17Speaker 5: I'd be on it all day. Well, they need to
- 3:19Speaker 5: get one here.
- 3:20Speaker 7: This is not as exciting though as walking outside. Plus
- 3:22Speaker 7: there's supposed to be so many good things for your
- 3:24Speaker 7: body being on the side and the elements, and get.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Some morning sun, and man, you can't beat morning sun,
- 3:30Speaker 3: No you can't. I don't know if we're going to
- 3:31Speaker 3: have much.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Yeah, today is going to be a kind of cloudy day,
- 3:34Speaker 6: only seventy something for a high low seventy.
- 3:37Speaker 3: It's going to get like three degrees warmer than it
- 3:38Speaker 3: is right now. Windy too, but not terrible rain. It's
- 3:43Speaker 3: there's a good chance of rain tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday.
- 3:46Speaker 5: And then by the weekends just beautiful.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I know we need it, but yeah, I mean
- 3:49Speaker 3: need it drought. Oh gosh, I will talk about We
- 3:52Speaker 3: were mowing the yard Friday. My wife and I were
- 3:54Speaker 3: splitting up the yard and we were both we were covered.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Somebody would have thought we were trying to cold truly appropriate.
- 4:01Speaker 3: We were so because the dust was done separately.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Oh my gosh is disgusting.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Pollen is going to be lowered this week because of
- 4:09Speaker 6: the rain. So there's okay, there's yeah, we need the rain.
- 4:13Speaker 6: We need to get rid of the pollen. Yeah, my
- 4:16Speaker 6: wak my truck needs cleaning too.
- 4:18Speaker 7: Yeah, I hope it rains hard on the west side.
- 4:20Speaker 7: They go to the Love drive through again.
- 4:25Speaker 5: What is going on to kick off our jackson Monday.
- 4:27Speaker 7: Well, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has a lot to celebrate.
- 4:31Speaker 7: They just brought in one of the largest classes in
- 4:35Speaker 7: their history. Thirty nine new police officers are joining the force. Yeah,
- 4:39Speaker 7: really impressive.
- 4:40Speaker 4: There's going to be dangerous water water conditions.
- 4:43Speaker 7: This week in the ocean, So if you have a
- 4:47Speaker 7: moment it's not raining, you go to Neptune, Jack's Atlantic
- 4:50Speaker 7: wherever you like to go, be careful. I guess the
- 4:52Speaker 7: high winds are hitting the water, making a really high
- 4:57Speaker 7: riptide risk. And other issues come with that. So don't
- 5:01Speaker 7: I nor the red flags, don't ask it. Your life matters.
- 5:04Speaker 7: Local students are now overseeing deck the Chairs. That happens
- 5:08Speaker 7: every year here. It's a group called the Students in
- 5:11Speaker 7: the Arts Alliance and they want to give year round
- 5:14Speaker 7: opportunities to students, so they're going to be in charge
- 5:17Speaker 7: of the whole nine which is.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Kind of cool, very cool. Love deck to Chairs.
- 5:20Speaker 4: That's three things you need to know, all right, if.
- 5:22Speaker 5: You're up to shirt, let we need to know one thing.
- 5:23Speaker 5: What is that?
- 5:24Speaker 3: John?
- 5:24Speaker 5: Why you up?
- 5:25Speaker 6: Call us at nine oh four three eight, eight thirty
- 5:27Speaker 6: six ninety nine be our first caller of the day.
- 5:29Speaker 5: While you do that, we'll check you Jack Traffick. How's
- 5:31Speaker 5: it looking right now? John?
- 5:32Speaker 3: Looking pretty good. There was a ramp closed and they
- 5:34Speaker 3: just picked up those cones, so everything's looking pretty good.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Big show with froggy John and Meghan and Teresa. Why
- 5:40Speaker 5: are you up?
- 5:40Speaker 6: I am up because I offer to cover a shift
- 5:44Speaker 6: for a co worker.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Okay, that's pretty cool.
- 5:47Speaker 6: I'm going in two hours early and hopefully getting off
- 5:51Speaker 6: two hours early.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Well hope. So what do you do?
- 5:54Speaker 2: I work at a baptist in the Anderson Cancer Center.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Well, wonderful, great for you, and awesome that you're a
- 6:00Speaker 3: friend like that for somebody.
- 6:02Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Absolutely, Hey, guys, I just don't let you know.
- 6:04Speaker 3: I'm coming in at seven thirty tomorrow, so y'all can
- 6:07Speaker 3: come in early for me.
- 6:08Speaker 5: Okay, you got it, Yeah, you got it. Yeah, we
- 6:10Speaker 5: got you.
- 6:11Speaker 3: John, Yeah, yes, they don't mean it a bit teresan
- 6:14Speaker 3: you do. Thank goodness. If you're not here by seven thirty,
- 6:16Speaker 3: it's froggy John and Megan good to be with you.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Another week's worth of good stuff. To win the seven
- 6:20Speaker 3: oh five or seven ten, we'll grab a couple of
- 6:22Speaker 3: folks to play the pop quiz. Winner gets bulls, bands
- 6:25Speaker 3: and barrels tickets. You get to go see all the
- 6:27Speaker 3: bulls and the bands and the barrels, the bands. Uh
- 6:30Speaker 3: Dylan Scott. Yeah, it's headlining that.
- 6:33Speaker 6: So you know that's another one of those artists, Dylan
- 6:35Speaker 6: is that you don't realize how many songs by Dylan
- 6:37Speaker 6: Scott that you know until you get there. Yep, and
- 6:40Speaker 6: then he's like six seven songs into the setting. You're like, wait,
- 6:43Speaker 6: you say, I know everything A want of these?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Yeah, he's a great performer too, I love love listening
- 6:47Speaker 4: to him.
- 6:48Speaker 5: He is.
- 6:48Speaker 3: He did a fundraiser for us for Saint Jude, one
- 6:50Speaker 3: of our Winter wonder jams or jingle jams, whatever we
- 6:53Speaker 3: called it.
- 6:53Speaker 5: And Uh, just a great guy, he really is. He's
- 6:56Speaker 5: a good dude. I saw him. Uh, John, you remember
- 6:58Speaker 5: this story? Axing you laugh.
- 6:59Speaker 6: I was at TPC Sawgrass playing golf last year during
- 7:03Speaker 6: the Saint jud event, the wrong right, and we're on
- 7:06Speaker 6: the fourteenth hole, which is a hole that I can't stand,
- 7:08Speaker 6: by the way, because I never make a good score
- 7:10Speaker 6: on that hole. And so we're standing on the on
- 7:12Speaker 6: the on the green. We're standing on the pudding green,
- 7:15Speaker 6: and there's a mama duck and she's got like six
- 7:18Speaker 6: ducklings behind her. Oh and this hawk comes out of
- 7:23Speaker 6: the tree, swipes down and grabs two or three of
- 7:27Speaker 6: them and flies off.
- 7:28Speaker 5: Oh my god, squawk in she PopEd all over the
- 7:32Speaker 5: place like it was bad. It was.
- 7:34Speaker 6: It was a traumatic experience. It was me and three
- 7:37Speaker 6: or four of the grown men, and all of us
- 7:39Speaker 6: were not right for the next three or four holes.
- 7:41Speaker 6: We were all traumatic. So that night I got to
- 7:44Speaker 6: to the Dylan Scott show at Saint Augustine amnithater. I'm
- 7:47Speaker 6: telling him about it. He's like, man, that sounds pretty awesome. Man,
- 7:51Speaker 6: I wish i'd been there to see that. I'm like, dude,
- 7:53Speaker 6: there was nothing good about it. I'm like, this is
- 7:55Speaker 6: how I know he's a real sportsman and I'm not.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Oh my gosh. Yeah, the animal kingdom sometimes will really disturb.
- 8:01Speaker 6: Me here, that's what he said. He goes in, what
- 8:03Speaker 6: it's just the animal kingdom. It's just how it works.
- 8:05Speaker 5: That's how it works.
- 8:06Speaker 4: I just don't want to watch it, mom.
- 8:09Speaker 5: It doesn't play by human rules at all.
- 8:11Speaker 4: And the ducks are little ducklings are too cute, the
- 8:13Speaker 4: way they just waddle behind.
- 8:14Speaker 6: The first question was y'all get any video or pictures
- 8:17Speaker 6: of it? I said, no, dude, I didn't take my phone.
- 8:20Speaker 6: Now when it happened, I was so mad.
- 8:22Speaker 5: I was. I was angry at that. I was angry.
- 8:25Speaker 5: We'll get out of here with that.
- 8:27Speaker 3: One of my favorite nature beats human stories is when
- 8:29Speaker 3: Tiger Woods is coming up on the second hole at
- 8:31Speaker 3: the TPC and we're and we're seeing the great Tiger
- 8:34Speaker 3: Woods at the height of his tigerness, and then there
- 8:37Speaker 3: was a osprey that had an eagle that had a
- 8:40Speaker 3: fish in its mouth flying over and nobody was watching Tiger.
- 8:44Speaker 5: Everybody was looking up at the fish in his mouth.
- 8:48Speaker 7: Something about a bird getting a fish disturbs me a
- 8:50Speaker 7: lot less and something duck.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Why is it? Okay?
- 8:55Speaker 5: I don't know streets for Nashville in music city minute.
- 9:02Speaker 5: What's going on?
- 9:02Speaker 4: Billy Ray Cyrus.
- 9:03Speaker 7: We haven't had music from him in a long time,
- 9:07Speaker 7: but since he was on the Old Town Road.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Yeah, he's coming back.
- 9:11Speaker 7: He's doing a collaboration with two of his kids, Noah
- 9:13Speaker 7: and Brayson Cyrus. It's called on Our Way Along. Brayson
- 9:17Speaker 7: is the kid that's been in the.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Background a lot. A lot of people don't even know
- 9:20Speaker 4: he's one of the siblings.
- 9:22Speaker 5: Oh okay, but I have to say I have not
- 9:24Speaker 5: heard that name.
- 9:25Speaker 4: It's pretty cool.
- 9:25Speaker 5: And Noah's a girl, right, Yes she is.
- 9:27Speaker 8: She is.
- 9:28Speaker 4: I really like her.
- 9:29Speaker 5: I do.
- 9:30Speaker 7: Zach Bryan canceled his show due to the weather in Oklahoma,
- 9:34Speaker 7: which you might be like, Okay, what's the big deal.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Well, what's interesting is this.
- 9:38Speaker 7: Is actually his first headlining show cancelation, So his whole time,
- 9:42Speaker 7: he's never ever had to cancel.
- 9:44Speaker 5: A shows a great run.
- 9:46Speaker 7: Yeah, that's incredible. And there's a country artist in Nashville.
- 9:49Speaker 7: His name's thom And Eisenhood. Probably never heard of him,
- 9:53Speaker 7: but you will. Now he's getting lots of attention. But
- 9:55Speaker 7: it's not because of his music. It's because he started
- 9:58Speaker 7: dating Jessica Simpson. So I guess if you, if your
- 10:02Speaker 7: music is not getting out there, just date someone a
- 10:04Speaker 7: lot more famous than you. Yes, so I wonder if
- 10:07Speaker 7: he gets a discount on her shoes. I'm Meghan, that's
- 10:09Speaker 7: your music city minute.
- 10:11Speaker 5: Let's go check on your Jackson. Froggy spit out of water.
- 10:15Speaker 5: The important questions you need to know.
- 10:16Speaker 7: Maybe I could date Jessica Simpson and then I could
- 10:19Speaker 7: get hurt when your hit records her Country Hills.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Yeah, those boots Uh beautiful. The big show, Froggy, John
- 10:27Speaker 3: and Meghan great to be with you. Don't forget seven
- 10:29Speaker 3: oh five, seven ten. We'll give you an opportunity to
- 10:31Speaker 3: play the pop quiz. Winner is going to get a
- 10:33Speaker 3: four pack of tickets for Boots, bands and Barrels.
- 10:36Speaker 5: Did I?
- 10:36Speaker 3: Bulls bands and barrels, Bulls, Boots. It's best Still and
- 10:39Speaker 3: Scott and the Boots. There there will be boots, they'll
- 10:43Speaker 3: be there. Just let you know there will be boots
- 10:45Speaker 3: still works. So I always read these like these little surveys.
- 10:52Speaker 6: That come out and the research and whatnot. Yeah, I
- 10:55Speaker 6: like this one, though some of the might disagree with.
- 10:56Speaker 6: Somebody see some times like what the heck did they get?
- 10:59Speaker 6: Like they're just out there. Yeah, this one I agree with.
- 11:02Speaker 6: A new research study suggests that we don't need to
- 11:04Speaker 6: work five days a week, and that people are more
- 11:07Speaker 6: productive on a four day week than they are on
- 11:10Speaker 6: a five day week.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Say a louder for the people in.
- 11:12Speaker 5: The back, because yes, can I get an amen?
- 11:15Speaker 6: So it's according to a study from the non profit
- 11:18Speaker 6: advocacy group Four Day Week Global, which I mean, listen,
- 11:22Speaker 6: they can say their nonprofit, but by the name of
- 11:25Speaker 6: their group, the Four Day Week Global Advocacy Group, means
- 11:28Speaker 6: they already are for the four day weeks, so you
- 11:30Speaker 6: do have to take that into account, right. However, it
- 11:33Speaker 6: says employees accomplished just as much in thirty three hours
- 11:36Speaker 6: a week as they do in thirty eight hours a week.
- 11:38Speaker 3: We're finding that. Yeah, I think this studies from what
- 11:40Speaker 3: I've seen or saying the same thing. So what's a
- 11:42Speaker 3: thirty eight hour week? How many if you work for
- 11:44Speaker 3: four thirty eight hours. Is that it's only a half
- 11:47Speaker 3: hour off? Yeah, not a half hour?
- 11:50Speaker 5: Yeah, so you're working longer days.
- 11:52Speaker 6: It would appear because if you're thirty eight hours in,
- 11:57Speaker 6: so they're saying four day week, so you're working an
- 11:59Speaker 6: extra half hour thirty eight divided by fours what no
- 12:03Speaker 6: good question and a half nine and a half you
- 12:06Speaker 6: or nine and a half hour days, So you have
- 12:08Speaker 6: to work a little bit longer each day, right, but
- 12:11Speaker 6: only work four days, which I would take that. So
- 12:13Speaker 6: here comes the question that is really the real sticking point.
- 12:18Speaker 6: What's your extra day off? John, Monday or Friday?
- 12:22Speaker 5: Monday? It's Megan.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Friday, I agree, Okay, Friday off Monday.
- 12:31Speaker 7: When we have those three days, it feels like the
- 12:35Speaker 7: week is longer.
- 12:36Speaker 5: No, no, no, no, no, I'm sorry. I agree with John.
- 12:38Speaker 4: You want Monday off.
- 12:39Speaker 5: Yes, because because Friday is a Friday. Monday is a
- 12:42Speaker 5: Friday anyways.
- 12:44Speaker 3: But if you have Monday, but if that's only one
- 12:46Speaker 3: of four days you're working, Friday might not be the
- 12:48Speaker 3: Friday like it used to be.
- 12:49Speaker 4: It is, but that's true.
- 12:50Speaker 5: Your Sunday's a whole lot better. Every Sunday is better, but.
- 12:53Speaker 7: Monday if we have Mondays off for federal like bank holidays,
- 12:58Speaker 7: then if you already have Monday off, you don't get
- 13:00Speaker 7: an extra day.
- 13:01Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I'm making the rules. Yeah, they got Tuesday.
- 13:06Speaker 4: You would work Wednesday and Thursday and Friday. You're working
- 13:10Speaker 4: three day week, oh and Friday on.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Thosdays anything, it's kind of you're still sticking with your Friday.
- 13:17Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm still sticking with Friday because I don't know,
- 13:21Speaker 7: there's something that week goes by faster knowing you're gonna
- 13:23Speaker 7: get off for the.
- 13:24Speaker 5: Okay, I'm think it's funny now I think off.
- 13:28Speaker 6: Because I always feel like when we have a Monday off,
- 13:30Speaker 6: the week goes by really quick. By your second day
- 13:33Speaker 6: of week, your second day of work, it's Wednesday, and
- 13:36Speaker 6: you're like, oh wait, the week's half over.
- 13:38Speaker 5: You know how bad I am about that. It's my
- 13:40Speaker 5: I don't know what it is.
- 13:41Speaker 3: It's the thing that we think things through wrong that
- 13:44Speaker 3: by the time it's Wednesday, on the day we had
- 13:46Speaker 3: a Monday off, I think it should already be Thursday. Yes,
- 13:49Speaker 3: it's supposed to be the other thing, but my brain
- 13:51Speaker 3: goes from why is it Friday yet?
- 13:52Speaker 7: Maybe it could be like pick and choose, you know,
- 13:55Speaker 7: like four day work week. That way they have some
- 13:57Speaker 7: people coming in on a Monday and some people come
- 13:59Speaker 7: in on a Friday. It man, that could work.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Yeah, not for us, but it'll work for enough.
- 14:04Speaker 4: We're not getting four day week. But no, we're not
- 14:08Speaker 4: talking about us.
- 14:08Speaker 3: We all had six day weeks last yesterday, last week. No, yeah,
- 14:13Speaker 3: so you did. I'm sorry you took all work Saturday.
- 14:15Speaker 3: I worked Sunday. He worked Saturday.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I forgot. I would be with.
- 14:23Speaker 5: You even get here today.
- 14:25Speaker 4: I'm a big advocate for using your vacation exactly.
- 14:29Speaker 6: Yes, I want to know what you think, would you'd
- 14:32Speaker 6: rather have if we did a Foday work week.
- 14:33Speaker 5: Would you rather have a Monday off or your Friday off?
- 14:36Speaker 5: Nine to fourth.
- 14:40Speaker 3: With Country ninety nine one w q i K The
- 14:43Speaker 3: Big Show with Froggie, John and Megan. We go to
- 14:46Speaker 3: Citrus County. We find this lady recently moved back in
- 14:49Speaker 3: with their husband. They had been split up. Okay, you know,
- 14:51Speaker 3: but they're working things out. We're going to get it going.
- 14:54Speaker 3: She moves back in with her husband to celebrate their
- 14:56Speaker 3: son's eighteenth birthday. Then they started arguing NonStop for days,
- 15:00Speaker 3: and then she walked out of the house and bags
- 15:02Speaker 3: in her hand, had both dogs on the leash. Next thing,
- 15:04Speaker 3: you know that, car, I mean the house is on fire.
- 15:07Speaker 5: Oh my gosh. Yeah, see Camilburnon.
- 15:10Speaker 3: She literally said beforehand, I wanted to rekindle the relationship
- 15:15Speaker 3: the Big Show with Frankie John and Megan Good to
- 15:17Speaker 3: be with you Country ninety nine one wq IK.
- 15:20Speaker 5: So we are talking about if you could do a
- 15:22Speaker 5: four and no.
- 15:23Speaker 6: According to this survey, workers are more efficient on a
- 15:27Speaker 6: four day work week than a five day work week,
- 15:29Speaker 6: which I would agree with. I know we're never going
- 15:31Speaker 6: to that here, We're never going to let us do that. However,
- 15:33Speaker 6: we're fighting for you. Yeah, we want you to have
- 15:35Speaker 6: a four day work week, so you have three days off.
- 15:37Speaker 6: Because I don't know who came up with this five
- 15:40Speaker 6: and two thing, work five take two off. I think
- 15:43Speaker 6: four and three.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Would have been a better deal because it started out
- 15:46Speaker 5: with six and one. You would take that one day off.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Yes, that's way too much. That's crazy.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Most when you're working the fields, I mean, you don't
- 15:54Speaker 3: get to take all these days off, right, and so
- 15:56Speaker 3: back in the old farming days, the Oligrarian society, we
- 15:58Speaker 3: had it was six and one. Yeah, and then maybe
- 16:00Speaker 3: they go, why don't you just take Saturday off?
- 16:02Speaker 5: Too?
- 16:02Speaker 3: But man, that was that's just relatively modern. Okay, so
- 16:05Speaker 3: let's go to four and three. I like the four
- 16:07Speaker 3: and three. But then the argument comes, what is that
- 16:10Speaker 3: day you take off?
- 16:11Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 16:11Speaker 6: So Meghan says Friday Friday, and John and I say Monday.
- 16:15Speaker 5: We're going for Mondays. And so we've asked you what
- 16:17Speaker 5: you think? And so is that Debbie on Monday? Yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 5: Debbie's ready, Let's ask Debbie, Hi, Debbie, what do you think?
- 16:22Speaker 2: Hey?
- 16:22Speaker 5: So I'm agreement.
- 16:23Speaker 7: I am agreeing with Megan. You take Friday off so
- 16:27Speaker 7: that way, when.
- 16:28Speaker 4: The federal holiday shows up on Monday, you only have
- 16:31Speaker 4: to work three.
- 16:32Speaker 7: Extra days you get you get Friday and Monday off
- 16:34Speaker 7: at a four day weekend, and you work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
- 16:37Speaker 7: and you got a Friday off again.
- 16:39Speaker 6: Okay, Now, what if we move the federal holiday to
- 16:41Speaker 6: a Tuesday, and then we got Friday, Saturday, we got Saturday, Sunday,
- 16:45Speaker 6: Monday Tuesday off.
- 16:46Speaker 4: It's like baby steps, though we can't.
- 16:49Speaker 6: And I would do.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Then I have to work Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- 16:53Speaker 6: Still three days, all right, Debbie, Well you Megan, You
- 16:56Speaker 6: and Megan take off Fridays, John and I will take
- 16:58Speaker 6: off Mondays.
- 16:59Speaker 4: I like the way you think that, so.
- 17:01Speaker 7: I like what you think too, because I also my
- 17:03Speaker 7: dad and my husband were in the military, So I
- 17:05Speaker 7: thank you for your service.
- 17:07Speaker 4: Oh way to go. Thank you and thank you to them.
- 17:09Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 17:10Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you. You all have a great day. Thank you.
- 17:13Speaker 5: Debbie's got a point, you know about that whole month
- 17:15Speaker 5: working Monday.
- 17:16Speaker 6: If you're going to take Tuesday, but wouldn't the federal
- 17:18Speaker 6: holidays would come Tuesdays.
- 17:19Speaker 4: I don't know, it's starting to get a little too complic.
- 17:21Speaker 5: Friday.
- 17:22Speaker 6: Maybe their federal holiday would be a Friday. You take Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
- 17:26Speaker 5: We're starting to involve math.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Maybe we could just, I don't know, take out a
- 17:29Speaker 4: whole month of the year.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Two.
- 17:30Speaker 4: I mean, we're making these big changes.
- 17:32Speaker 5: The European then take the whole summer off. Yeah, they
- 17:34Speaker 5: do that in other places, so.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Yes, that should be default. Really would you take offten
- 17:40Speaker 4: I think July?
- 17:43Speaker 5: Oh really?
- 17:44Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 17:44Speaker 7: I think July would have been in Florida long enough. No,
- 17:47Speaker 7: I haven't been in Florida for.
- 17:49Speaker 5: One July you might change your mind.
- 17:51Speaker 3: What would you take, John, I would take maybe November
- 17:56Speaker 3: October November.
- 17:57Speaker 5: You can't take that time off? Why not? Is that
- 18:00Speaker 5: it's too important? We got to be here? Then? I
- 18:02Speaker 5: think it's because ye summer vacation.
- 18:05Speaker 7: Well, and me and Froggy's birthdays are both in October,
- 18:07Speaker 7: so you can't just completely like douce out on.
- 18:12Speaker 5: I like, what do you call me? Meghan? Oh?
- 18:18Speaker 4: No, you said the nickname.
- 18:20Speaker 5: No.
- 18:20Speaker 4: I was like, I'm agreeing with you for once.
- 18:22Speaker 5: No, No, he didn't go there. I'm not firing shots already.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Early, I am traumatized in this.
- 18:27Speaker 5: You are least I did not. She really thought it?
- 18:29Speaker 6: No idea, I really thought you did. We go back
- 18:32Speaker 6: and listen to it. I promise, I promise I didn't.
- 18:35Speaker 6: Let's getting to Megan's three things that you need to
- 18:37Speaker 6: know you Jess Monday, thanks for that.
- 18:39Speaker 5: You're welcome.
- 18:40Speaker 7: If you have any unpaid parking tickets from Neptune Beach
- 18:44Speaker 7: from twenty twenty two to twenty twenty four, and you
- 18:47Speaker 7: have been like, you know what, I'm not gonna worry
- 18:49Speaker 7: about it. Can't find the bill. You need to find
- 18:51Speaker 7: it because they're all being sent off to collections, which
- 18:55Speaker 7: is going to be a really bad day for you
- 18:56Speaker 7: when you have to figure out who to call. Oh yeah,
- 18:59Speaker 7: do you answer this phone called?
- 19:00Speaker 6: Do you not?
- 19:01Speaker 7: So get on top of that, a bunch of local
- 19:03Speaker 7: students are now overseeing Deck the Chairs.
- 19:05Speaker 4: It's a group called Students and the Arts Alliance.
- 19:08Speaker 7: They want to give year round art opportunities to students,
- 19:11Speaker 7: so they're going to be running the show, which is
- 19:13Speaker 7: pretty neat is And there's a lot of dangerous water
- 19:16Speaker 7: conditions this week in the oceans because of all the
- 19:19Speaker 7: high winds, So because of the big riptide risk. Don't
- 19:23Speaker 7: ignore the red flags, be vigilant and keep yourself safe
- 19:27Speaker 7: if you're going to be out in the water.
- 19:28Speaker 4: It's three things you need to know, all right.
- 19:30Speaker 6: We got a pop quiz coming up, bulls bands and
- 19:33Speaker 6: Barrel's got tickets to see Dylan Scott, all kinds of
- 19:35Speaker 6: good stuff. Callers nine, callers ten, You played in the
- 19:38Speaker 6: pop quiz nine oh four, three eighty eight, thirty six
- 19:41Speaker 6: ninety nine. While you call in, we'll check you Jack's traffic.
- 19:43Speaker 6: How's it looking now, John.
- 19:45Speaker 3: It's looking pretty good almost all around town except Robert's
- 19:48Speaker 3: got something for us in Clay County.
- 19:49Speaker 5: What you seeing, buddy, south of night box on.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Blaming south bound towards Middleburg left lane, right lane, middle
- 19:56Speaker 2: lanes open, looks like a box tuck suv and looks
- 19:59Speaker 2: like a not a car and possibly a bit between them.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Robert, thank you so much for that. That once again
- 20:04Speaker 3: southbound on Bulls barrels.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Bulls bands and barrels. Thank you.
- 20:12Speaker 3: I know the promoters of this are probably yelling at
- 20:14Speaker 3: us right now, but we're trying to get it right.
- 20:17Speaker 3: What's it called bulls bands and barrels. I'm so sorry.
- 20:20Speaker 3: I think bulls bands and barrels.
- 20:22Speaker 5: That's correct. Good, yeah, well done.
- 20:25Speaker 8: Well barrels, bruising boots and featuring bull riding, barrel racing,
- 20:31Speaker 8: freestyle bull fighting, plus live performances by Dylan Scott special
- 20:35Speaker 8: guest Tyler Nance.
- 20:36Speaker 5: So that's pretty cool.
- 20:37Speaker 4: It is cool.
- 20:38Speaker 3: I wanted to get it right. That's why I was
- 20:40Speaker 3: wanting to look at this. Bulls bands and barrels. We'll
- 20:44Speaker 3: have a chance to win in a few minutes. You
- 20:47Speaker 3: don't have to recite the name of it back to him.
- 20:51Speaker 5: Okay.
- 20:52Speaker 3: We got a funny email from our friend Casey and
- 20:56Speaker 3: and and she was looking at the Ella Langley h
- 21:00Speaker 3: new album Dandelion coming out this week yep, and evidently
- 21:04Speaker 3: on Spotify last week that they put out a track listing.
- 21:08Speaker 3: You know, they kind of sneak out and leak out
- 21:10Speaker 3: by mistake, right, a track listing and so on the
- 21:14Speaker 3: track it opens up. The Dandelion album, the much awaited
- 21:19Speaker 3: album by Ellen Langley, opens up with a song called
- 21:21Speaker 3: well we might know it from your childhood Froggy win
- 21:24Speaker 3: a courting.
- 21:24Speaker 7: Yes see did she write a song about you?
- 21:27Speaker 5: She did? Isn't that something? We might be related? We
- 21:30Speaker 5: share the same last name, share the same last name.
- 21:32Speaker 5: We did share the same last name.
- 21:33Speaker 6: However, I had somebody at our corporate office ask me,
- 21:37Speaker 6: are you guys related? And I said, listen, look at
- 21:40Speaker 6: her and look at me. There is no sharing of
- 21:43Speaker 6: the gene pool in this last name. I just we
- 21:46Speaker 6: just happened to have the same last name.
- 21:47Speaker 7: Oh, come on, you never know you could be related
- 21:49Speaker 7: to Ella Langley. That was pretty quick.
- 21:50Speaker 5: You couldn't believe me when I told her I had
- 21:52Speaker 5: the same last name.
- 21:53Speaker 6: She's like, really, So I showed her on driver's license
- 21:55Speaker 6: and then she's like, what kind first name is that
- 21:59Speaker 6: she made fun of?
- 21:59Speaker 5: That a bit.
- 22:00Speaker 4: He's easy middling too.
- 22:04Speaker 6: I don't believe we're related, right, but I do like that.
- 22:07Speaker 6: Froggy went accord and then Froggy went a courting.
- 22:10Speaker 5: This is not Hella Langley. Right, Proby went the court
- 22:15Speaker 5: and he did right on. They gonna be our sing
- 22:18Speaker 5: along on Friday. You know this song he did right
- 22:21Speaker 5: brings in flowers by his side.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Oh, how do you notice?
- 22:28Speaker 5: Because it's part of our childhood.
- 22:30Speaker 4: Roggy mountain around here.
- 22:34Speaker 5: I don't remember this. You don't remember this song in
- 22:36Speaker 5: my life?
- 22:36Speaker 4: You look like you like it.
- 22:37Speaker 5: He's court and missing, he's courting miss Mouseie. Y'all don't
- 22:40Speaker 5: know that, dude?
- 22:41Speaker 3: You know?
- 22:42Speaker 5: And then a song Megan when the court and you'd
- 22:43Speaker 5: like it too.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Okay, it's a frog hitting on a mouse. It's a
- 22:48Speaker 3: frog hitting on a mouse. And that's what he's doing.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Now he's asking her to marry, she said, She said,
- 22:55Speaker 3: getting married Froggy and Miss Mousie.
- 22:58Speaker 5: I like it like this. Where will the wedding's superb be?
- 23:03Speaker 5: How many songs about Megan are there?
- 23:04Speaker 2: Right?
- 23:05Speaker 5: Don't fun?
- 23:07Speaker 4: Looks like he's like a happy kid again.
- 23:11Speaker 5: We start with you.
- 23:13Speaker 3: How many number ones does this guy have now twenty
- 23:15Speaker 3: something Thomas Rhett.
- 23:16Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, how old is he? Richard? How old's Thomas Rhett?
- 23:20Speaker 5: He's thirty seven? Donna? Is he older? Younger than thirty seven? Older?
- 23:26Speaker 3: He's actually younger. He started very young. Really was like
- 23:29Speaker 3: twenty one or twenty two years old when he started
- 23:32Speaker 3: having thirty six. Oh wow, Richard was that close and
- 23:36Speaker 3: made it made it tough on Donna. So Richard gets
- 23:38Speaker 3: that point.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Well done, Well done, All right.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Job Richard. Okay, Donna, you get this question first.
- 23:45Speaker 3: This is a survey a spring cleaning pole found that
- 23:51Speaker 3: other people's stuff accounts for what percentage of the things
- 23:55Speaker 3: we have in our garage?
- 23:56Speaker 4: Okay, thirty Richard?
- 24:02Speaker 5: Is that number high or lower? I'm gonna say lower.
- 24:05Speaker 5: You're right, it's ten. Richard's going to be our wedder today.
- 24:09Speaker 5: Oh okay, congratulations, Donna. Thank you for playing. We're sure
- 24:13Speaker 5: appreciate it.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Thank you, Donna, Thank you.
- 24:16Speaker 5: My Richard. Congratulations.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Four pack of tickets, bulls bands, barrels, Dylan Scott in
- 24:22Speaker 3: Concert's going to be a lot of fun. Baby, you
- 24:25Speaker 3: have no idea my ten year old that's his favorite artist.
- 24:28Speaker 5: It's incredible. Yes, that is so great. We're so happy
- 24:32Speaker 5: for you.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Oh WQYK Tyler Hubbard with the Big Show Monday with Froggy,
- 24:38Speaker 3: John and Megan.
- 24:39Speaker 5: So good to be with you.
- 24:40Speaker 6: It's good to be here on this Monday. Except we're
- 24:42Speaker 6: debating on if we could work four day weeks, what
- 24:46Speaker 6: would it be because they said there was a survey
- 24:48Speaker 6: done that people said they get as much work done
- 24:51Speaker 6: in thirty three hours as they do in thirty eight hours.
- 24:53Speaker 6: So thirty three hours over four days is not so bad. No, yeah,
- 24:57Speaker 6: that's actually that's doable. Now I realize we're never gonna.
- 24:59Speaker 5: Die that here. I realized that's not the case here.
- 25:03Speaker 6: But for you and your job, I hope that you
- 25:04Speaker 6: could do a four day work week because I like
- 25:07Speaker 6: a four day work week when you when you But
- 25:09Speaker 6: we can't agree on which day we take.
- 25:10Speaker 7: Off, right, Yeah, we're well, we were not really split.
- 25:13Speaker 7: There's three of us, but we're two on one. We
- 25:15Speaker 7: are Friday or Monday. Megan would rather take Friday. Friday, yeah,
- 25:19Speaker 7: because the the federal holidays and you get Monday off,
- 25:23Speaker 7: then you have an extra long weekend.
- 25:25Speaker 4: It's like a weekend sandwich.
- 25:26Speaker 6: John and I'd brother take Monday, right, and then one
- 25:29Speaker 6: guy called in and said he wanted Wednesday.
- 25:31Speaker 3: I like the guy called and said he wonted Wednesday
- 25:33Speaker 3: because he said, it's either Monday or Friday all week Right,
- 25:37Speaker 3: it's like whatday, first day and then weekend Monday, Tuesdays
- 25:40Speaker 3: like a Thursday, Friday. But you can't do anything on
- 25:42Speaker 3: the Wednesday. You keep going over a day, but you
- 25:45Speaker 3: can have a day of doing. You can't go anywhere.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Maybe you can go to Maine.
- 25:48Speaker 7: It's too complicated. I can't keep track of them.
- 25:52Speaker 4: I really know what.
- 25:53Speaker 3: It's Monday, Thursday is a second Monday, and then this
- 25:55Speaker 3: Friday is a Friday.
- 25:56Speaker 6: And by the way, if nobody else works on that Wednesday,
- 25:59Speaker 6: you can't get any airs done that Wednesday.
- 26:00Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 26:01Speaker 4: I tell you you can't.
- 26:02Speaker 5: His idea. He loved it.
- 26:03Speaker 3: He loved it, but he said he only did it
- 26:04Speaker 3: for a few months, so I don't know if he
- 26:06Speaker 3: got used to it.
- 26:07Speaker 7: Even Hilda drive down itent everyone was only off on Wednesdays.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Right, you couldn't get anywhere. I mean, it would be horrible.
- 26:14Speaker 5: Good point.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Yeah, so I don't. I still think I want Monday.
- 26:18Speaker 3: I think more people opted for Monday.
- 26:20Speaker 4: You're just saying that because you agree with Froggy.
- 26:22Speaker 5: Oh you heard and you were nodding. You're going, yeah,
- 26:24Speaker 5: I'm hearing a lot of money.
- 26:25Speaker 6: I think you were coming around to the Monday way
- 26:27Speaker 6: and then you and then he jumped in with Wednesday,
- 26:29Speaker 6: and you're like, yeah, never mind, that's what everything.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Yeah, that's too much work.
- 26:34Speaker 6: I think that's exactly what happened. Let's get into Megan's
- 26:37Speaker 6: three things. What's going on on this Jacksonville Monday. Get
- 26:39Speaker 6: our week started.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Neptune Beach is coming for you.
- 26:42Speaker 7: If you have unpaid parking tickets from twenty twenty two
- 26:45Speaker 7: to twenty twenty four, they're all being sent off to collection,
- 26:48Speaker 7: So dig out those bills and get them paid so
- 26:50Speaker 7: you don't have to deal with the collection people calling
- 26:52Speaker 7: your phone relentlessly.
- 26:54Speaker 8: Uh.
- 26:55Speaker 7: There's dangerous water conditions all this week at the ocean.
- 26:59Speaker 7: All of our beaches are being affected because of the
- 27:01Speaker 7: high winds. The riptide risk is super high, so don't
- 27:05Speaker 7: ignore the red flags. Make sure you're being safe and
- 27:07Speaker 7: taking care of yourself. And we have a lot to
- 27:10Speaker 7: celebrate with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. They have just brought
- 27:13Speaker 7: in the biggest graduating class in all of their history.
- 27:17Speaker 7: Thirty nine new police officers are joining the force. The
- 27:20Speaker 7: three things you need to know.
- 27:21Speaker 5: I should know the quick check on your jackson. Good morning.
- 27:23Speaker 3: It's the non stop Big Show rolling with Froggie, John
- 27:26Speaker 3: and Megan and our special guest.
- 27:29Speaker 6: Yes, Riley is here. Good morning, Riley, good morning. Now
- 27:35Speaker 6: she's she's quiet. Now you're shy.
- 27:37Speaker 5: You were non shy one minute.
- 27:40Speaker 7: You were just throwing softballs in here, teaching us how
- 27:42Speaker 7: to pitch.
- 27:43Speaker 5: She cast pitching to me.
- 27:45Speaker 6: Yeah, you were banging on the microphone then was coming
- 27:48Speaker 6: from No, we did it.
- 27:50Speaker 5: Now all of a sudden, you're shy.
- 27:52Speaker 3: We met Riley at Col Haynes on Saint Patrick's Day
- 27:55Speaker 3: and we stayed in touch and we invited them to
- 27:57Speaker 3: come to the station.
- 27:58Speaker 5: And this is the day you came by. So, Riley,
- 28:00Speaker 5: how old are you?
- 28:01Speaker 1: I'm seven years old?
- 28:02Speaker 5: Seven years old? And what school do you attend?
- 28:04Speaker 1: I go to school? I go to Spring Park Elementary?
- 28:08Speaker 5: Okay, and you're skipping today.
- 28:10Speaker 1: There's no school today.
- 28:11Speaker 5: Oh, there's no school today.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Okay. We thought you were playing hooky.
- 28:18Speaker 5: But you're a wonderful girl.
- 28:19Speaker 3: And Meghan, you were telling me because you stayed longer
- 28:22Speaker 3: after and you said that Megan knows every song.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I said, with Riley and her mom.
- 28:28Speaker 7: Meghan and Riley would hear a brief fraction of a
- 28:32Speaker 7: second of a song being played, and she had who
- 28:35Speaker 7: sung it?
- 28:36Speaker 4: What the name was called? She was on it.
- 28:38Speaker 5: How old are you again?
- 28:39Speaker 1: I'm seven years old?
- 28:40Speaker 5: Seven?
- 28:41Speaker 6: And we were talking to her mom, Megan. She said
- 28:43Speaker 6: that they play games on YouTube like name this song
- 28:45Speaker 6: and Riley. Riley says, she wins every now and then
- 28:49Speaker 6: or every time. She's confident, exactly, cute as a bug
- 28:56Speaker 6: and confident too. Usually we have Meg. It's tough lyric
- 29:01Speaker 6: because Meghan likes to make it difficult to win. We
- 29:03Speaker 6: got a four pack of tickets to the Jumbo Shrimp.
- 29:06Speaker 5: Yeah, and it's the night that Megan I think's throwing
- 29:07Speaker 5: the first pitch up.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Yeah, military appreciation.
- 29:10Speaker 5: You got to heckle Meghan when you go to the game.
- 29:11Speaker 7: By the way, as long as you're not dressed up
- 29:13Speaker 7: in a mascot outfit, I don't care.
- 29:15Speaker 4: You can call me any name you want.
- 29:17Speaker 6: I think you should have to hug Scampy after before
- 29:19Speaker 6: the pitch and hugs Southpaw before.
- 29:22Speaker 7: And this is why you don't make the rules because
- 29:24Speaker 7: if you.
- 29:26Speaker 6: Wait, you're gonna have to have a tough lyric. But
- 29:29Speaker 6: today it's going to be Riley's tough.
- 29:32Speaker 5: Riley likes it tougher too, because she's found a tough lyric.
- 29:35Speaker 5: I think.
- 29:35Speaker 6: All right, So Riley, remember we're not going to sing
- 29:37Speaker 6: it because we wanted to be hard. So what is
- 29:40Speaker 6: today's tough lyric?
- 29:42Speaker 5: Riley?
- 29:42Speaker 1: It's stronger the longer I'm with you?
- 29:45Speaker 5: So what is it? One more time?
- 29:48Speaker 1: It's stronger the longer I'm with you? All right?
- 29:51Speaker 6: If you know that lyrics, it's stronger the longer I'm
- 29:55Speaker 6: with you?
- 29:55Speaker 5: All right? Do we want to make it easy on
- 29:57Speaker 5: them or no? To sing that point and you sing.
- 29:59Speaker 1: It for it's it's it's stronger along.
- 30:05Speaker 6: Okay, there you go, man, give away good colored nine
- 30:09Speaker 6: at nine oh four, three, at eight thirty six, at
- 30:11Speaker 6: ninety nine, you're going to the jumbo shrimp.
