- 0:02Speaker 1: Oh you hear the beats in the base.
- 0:12Speaker 2: You know that means it's time for the Startup Sitam show.
- 0:14Speaker 2: I am Marcus Grant joined by Michael F. Florio. It
- 0:17Speaker 2: is week five. Can always check out the column at
- 0:20Speaker 2: NFL dot com slash start sit. I know you have
- 0:22Speaker 2: been working tirelessly at this thing since what Sunday afternoon?
- 0:26Speaker 2: I would assume, right, yeah, start.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Writing it on Sunday and nothing ever changes about the
- 0:30Speaker 3: course of So.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Don't worry about that. Everything that happens on Sunday is
- 0:34Speaker 2: as it will be when we get to the following Sunday.
- 0:36Speaker 2: That's all there's there are, all there is to it.
- 0:39Speaker 2: We will go through the top starts and six of
- 0:40Speaker 2: week five. We'll tell you who's gonna get it in
- 0:42Speaker 2: a club dub plus Lakwan Jens will be back and
- 0:44Speaker 2: he will give you his top five sleepers for the week.
- 0:47Speaker 2: But without any further ado, let's get into your starts
- 0:52Speaker 2: and sits at quarterback four Week five. Of course we're
- 0:55Speaker 2: doing this after the Thursday night game has happened. I
- 0:58Speaker 2: know that you had justin fields this week, right, you
- 1:00Speaker 2: were justin fields guy? This week?
- 1:02Speaker 3: I said to start justin fields this week. Some other
- 1:04Speaker 3: quarterbacks Anthony Richardson, Kirk Cousins, c J. Stroud, who's been
- 1:08Speaker 3: playing out of his mind right now. And I think
- 1:10Speaker 3: Jordan Love is in play, although I know you don't
- 1:12Speaker 3: love him. This week, Yes, some sits Trevor Lawrence against
- 1:17Speaker 3: the Bills, Joe Burrow because he just doesn't look like
- 1:19Speaker 3: Joe Burrow right now. Russell Wilson and Brock Purdy in
- 1:23Speaker 3: a tough matchup against the Cowboys.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Oh so Danger Russ who's been playing well, is on
- 1:27Speaker 2: the sit list. Let's talk about some guys on the
- 1:29Speaker 2: start list. Kirk Cousins going against the Kansas City Chiefs
- 1:33Speaker 2: last week, Cousins had his worst game of the season,
- 1:36Speaker 2: just one hundred and thirty nine passing yards, which you
- 1:38Speaker 2: think he bounces back against KSE.
- 1:40Speaker 3: It's so ironic that he had his worst game of
- 1:42Speaker 3: the season and it's the only game that the Vikings
- 1:44Speaker 3: have won so far this season.
- 1:46Speaker 2: But that is the whole thing.
- 1:48Speaker 3: They're playing the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, They're
- 1:52Speaker 3: gonna have to put up points. They're likely going to
- 1:54Speaker 3: be playing ketchup, and that is when Kirk Cousins is
- 1:57Speaker 3: at his best. For fantasy purposes. This is his first
- 2:00Speaker 3: game last week with fewer than three hundred and forty
- 2:02Speaker 3: passing yards. The Chiefs their secondary is tough, but we
- 2:06Speaker 3: know that this Vikings defense could put up points. They
- 2:08Speaker 3: did it against the Eagles. I'm expecting a game similar
- 2:11Speaker 3: to that in Week two, where the other team goes
- 2:13Speaker 3: off against the Vikings defense, and then Kirk Cousins is like, well,
- 2:16Speaker 3: I guess I gotta try to match that.
- 2:17Speaker 2: This game has the makings of a score fest if
- 2:20Speaker 2: both these offenses do what we think they are capable
- 2:23Speaker 2: of doing. Also, you Patrick Mahomes on the other side
- 2:26Speaker 2: coming off of one of his worst games in a
- 2:28Speaker 2: long time too, So we'll see if those quarterbacks can
- 2:30Speaker 2: get back on the good foot. Do we see Taylor
- 2:32Speaker 2: Swift there? Yes?
- 2:33Speaker 1: Or no?
- 2:33Speaker 2: I don't care. I'm sure that my mentions will be
- 2:37Speaker 2: I don't anyway. CJ. Stroud is off to an amazing start.
- 2:42Speaker 2: He has set in NFL record the first player in
- 2:45Speaker 2: NFL history to go for twelve hundred plus yards without
- 2:48Speaker 2: an interception over the first four games of his career.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I know we're parsing it down. I don't care. It's
- 2:53Speaker 2: still pretty special. He's got the Falcons this week, so
- 2:55Speaker 2: we keep the CJ. Stroud train rolling. Huh Yeah.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I am rolling with Stroud and last week I had
- 3:01Speaker 3: him as they sit against the Steelers. I will take
- 3:04Speaker 3: the l there, but I said that it was a
- 3:06Speaker 3: big test for him, and he passed with flying colors,
- 3:09Speaker 3: going for three hundred and six and two touchdowns. He
- 3:12Speaker 3: is now top twenty Fantasy points in three straight games,
- 3:15Speaker 3: with multiple passing touchdowns in each of those. I know
- 3:18Speaker 3: that the Falcons on paper look like a tough matchup,
- 3:21Speaker 3: but they bring pressure at a below average rate.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I think that is big for CJ.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Stroud. Not only do I want to start Stroud, I
- 3:27Speaker 3: think you want to start a pass catchers in this one.
- 3:29Speaker 2: As well well. Absolutely. I mean I've been telling people,
- 3:31Speaker 2: if you've got Tank Dell or Nico Collins, you are
- 3:34Speaker 2: starting them understanding that there will be ups and downs.
- 3:37Speaker 2: But the way the Texans are throwing the football and
- 3:40Speaker 2: the way those guys are playing, I don't know how
- 3:41Speaker 2: you sit either Collins or Dell at this point on
- 3:45Speaker 2: the other side, and I never thought we would be
- 3:47Speaker 2: here if you had told me back in July that
- 3:51Speaker 2: we'd be saying this in Week five, I would have said,
- 3:53Speaker 2: you're crazy, But Joe Burrow is a sit against the Cardinals.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Huh yeah.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Every week on Sunday, Joe Burrow managers are like, that's it,
- 4:02Speaker 3: I'm not playing him anymore. And then on like Wednesday,
- 4:04Speaker 3: I get text from people like, Hey, have you seen
- 4:07Speaker 3: who Joe Burrow's facing yet this week? Maybe he could
- 4:10Speaker 3: bounce back against the Cardinals, and I just need to
- 4:13Speaker 3: see it first. Last week was a good matchup on
- 4:15Speaker 3: paper against the Titans. He gave you less than five
- 4:18Speaker 3: fantasy points. He is averaging seven point nine fantasy points
- 4:22Speaker 3: per game on the season and has more games without
- 4:25Speaker 3: a touchdown pass than he does touchdown passes on the season.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Right now, you keep him on your bench in my opinion,
- 4:32Speaker 3: until he shows us that he looks like Joe Burrow.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Here are the quarterbacks that have more fantasy points than
- 4:37Speaker 2: Joe Burrow. Derek Carr, Jimmy Garoppolo, Ryan Tannehill. Can you
- 4:40Speaker 2: pick it, Zach Wilson, Desmond Ritter. I mean I can
- 4:43Speaker 2: keep going. Here's all of them, so pretty much all
- 4:45Speaker 2: of them. So all of the quarterbacks have more fantasy
- 4:48Speaker 2: points than Joe Burrow. That is where we are here
- 4:52Speaker 2: at the start of week five, so we talked about
- 4:55Speaker 2: the guys who are pitching out the side, about the
- 4:56Speaker 2: guys who are gonna be catching it. Look at the
- 4:58Speaker 2: wide receiver starts sits four week five? Who do you have?
- 5:01Speaker 3: I said I would be playing CJ. Strouds pass catchers.
- 5:04Speaker 3: That's why Nico Collins is a start for me. Brandon
- 5:07Speaker 3: Ayuk the wide receiver one for the San Francisco forty
- 5:10Speaker 3: nine ers. Christian Watson is back for the Packers, so
- 5:13Speaker 3: he should be back for your fantasy lineups. And then
- 5:16Speaker 3: Adam Thielen. He's the replacement option because the fourth one
- 5:19Speaker 3: was originally Dj Moore. Hopefully you did start Dj Moore
- 5:22Speaker 3: this week. Some sits Drake London because I want nothing
- 5:26Speaker 3: to do with the Falcons passing attack ever, Courtland Sutton
- 5:29Speaker 3: because Jets. Jordan Addison in a tough matchup on paper
- 5:33Speaker 3: against the Chiefs, and then Tyler Boyd. The only one
- 5:36Speaker 3: I'm nervous about the right there is is Jordan Addison.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Addison I think well, I think he bounces back from
- 5:40Speaker 2: last week when he had one target in zero catches,
- 5:43Speaker 2: Like I feel confident that he's gonna do better. Than
- 5:45Speaker 2: that in Week five. But how good he's gonna do well,
- 5:48Speaker 2: I think that is up for debate. Let's talk about
- 5:50Speaker 2: Christian Watson because he came back last week, did have
- 5:52Speaker 2: a touchdown, didn't see a ton of snaps as the
- 5:55Speaker 2: Packers were working him back in. But you think he
- 5:57Speaker 2: goes big against the Raiders this week? Yeah.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I think on Monday Night football, where everyone is gonna
- 6:02Speaker 3: have the eyes on their eyes on DeVante Adams on
- 6:05Speaker 3: the other side and talking about how he's still amazing
- 6:07Speaker 3: without the Packers, I think Christian Watson is gonna have
- 6:10Speaker 3: a little something to prove, like, hey, the Packers are
- 6:12Speaker 3: doing alright with what they have here. We saw last week,
- 6:15Speaker 3: like you said, on a snap count, he still scored
- 6:17Speaker 3: a touchdown in the red zone. And I think now
- 6:19Speaker 3: with the mini buy, we could see him play close to,
- 6:22Speaker 3: if not a full allotment of snaps. And it only
- 6:25Speaker 3: takes a play or two for Christian Watson to have
- 6:27Speaker 3: a big Fantasy day.
- 6:28Speaker 2: That's the thing. He's so good after the catch that
- 6:30Speaker 2: you just get the ball in his hands and who
- 6:32Speaker 2: knows is gonna happen from there. Plus, if they decide
- 6:34Speaker 2: to stretch the field, he's the guy who can take
- 6:36Speaker 2: the top off the defense. Adam feeling just keeps thumbing
- 6:39Speaker 2: his nose at regression like we're like, oh, I had a feeling,
- 6:42Speaker 2: he's washed, he's old, and he's just like he keeps
- 6:44Speaker 2: going and doing it. And the Lions maybe not the
- 6:49Speaker 2: doormats they once were, but you still like feeling this
- 6:52Speaker 2: week against Detroit, Yeah, I do it.
- 6:54Speaker 3: It is wild to say that Adam Feelen has been
- 6:56Speaker 3: quarterback proof, but that's what he has been. In the
- 6:58Speaker 3: first month of the seas he has at least eight
- 7:01Speaker 3: targets in three straight games, seven catches and over fifteen
- 7:04Speaker 3: fantasy points in each of those games, and in that
- 7:06Speaker 3: span he is averaging over twenty two fantasy points per game.
- 7:10Speaker 3: As good as the lines defenses, they are amazing at
- 7:13Speaker 3: stopping the run.
- 7:15Speaker 2: So I think one the.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Panthers don't have much of a run game they could
- 7:18Speaker 3: rely on, but even more so this week, I think
- 7:20Speaker 3: they're gonna have to throw the ball more than normal.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Adam Thielen is a top twelve Fantasy wide receiver through
- 7:25Speaker 2: the first four plus weeks of the season. Didn't think
- 7:28Speaker 2: we would be talking about that. Brandon Aiyuk, you mentioned it.
- 7:32Speaker 2: I've I've been on this train for a while, but
- 7:34Speaker 2: I'm glad to welcome everybody aboard. Brandon ayuk is the
- 7:37Speaker 2: wide receiver one for the San Francisco forty nine ers,
- 7:40Speaker 2: and you have no fear against starting him against the Cowboys. No,
- 7:42Speaker 2: and kudos to you.
- 7:43Speaker 3: You've been driving the ayuk Ki train, not just this season,
- 7:46Speaker 3: but for years now, and exactly what you said. He
- 7:49Speaker 3: is the wide receiver one for the San Francisco forty
- 7:52Speaker 3: nine ers. He leads this team in targets, in receiving yards,
- 7:56Speaker 3: in receiving touchdowns, and end zone targets. And that is
- 7:59Speaker 3: despite missing a game already this season. He is averaging
- 8:03Speaker 3: almost sixteen air yards per target, so he is always
- 8:06Speaker 3: a threat to put up high yardage catch a long touchdown,
- 8:09Speaker 3: even in a tough matchup against the Cowboys. I think
- 8:12Speaker 3: he is a mustart wide receiver and I'm feeling great
- 8:16Speaker 3: about him. Not so much Debo or George Kittle.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Right, Deebo, I'm a little worried about George Kittle. You know,
- 8:20Speaker 2: I know it's hard to avoid him, but I would
- 8:23Speaker 2: if I could, just because I think he's gonna spend
- 8:25Speaker 2: a lot of time blocking and not as much time
- 8:28Speaker 2: route running and getting involved in the passing game for
- 8:30Speaker 2: San Francisco. Speaking of George Kittle, we're gonna talk about
- 8:34Speaker 2: some tight ends coming up, and it's signed for a
- 8:37Speaker 2: vibe check. We're gonna tell you how we're feeling about
- 8:39Speaker 2: some of your biggest fantasy questions. That and more coming
- 8:41Speaker 2: up here on the Stardom Setup Show. Take a look
- 8:49Speaker 2: at the Stardom situm tight Ends four Week five Florio
- 8:53Speaker 2: take us through it.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Darren Waller in a potentially bounced back spot. I still
- 8:57Speaker 3: like Tyler Higbee even with Cooper cupback as a there,
- 9:00Speaker 3: Dallas Goddard giving him another shot, and Jake Ferguson even
- 9:04Speaker 3: in a tough matchup some six, Kyle Pitts because Falcons,
- 9:08Speaker 3: Hunter Henry in a tough matchup, chig Aconco, and the
- 9:11Speaker 3: fourth one there was Cole Comet, my bad.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Cole Comett is very quietly having a really nice year.
- 9:18Speaker 2: And Kyle Pitts. I don't know, man, I think that's
- 9:21Speaker 2: just what it is. John new Smith is the tight
- 9:23Speaker 2: end one in Atlanta. None of us like it, but
- 9:26Speaker 2: we just got to accept the fact. At this point,
- 9:28Speaker 2: let's talk about some potentially happier things because Darren Waller
- 9:31Speaker 2: has been a disappointment, but the Giants are saying they
- 9:34Speaker 2: understand they've got to get him more involved. The Actually
- 9:38Speaker 2: the headline I saw was Daniel Jones hopes to get
- 9:41Speaker 2: Darren Waller Moore involved, And I'm like, hope is not
- 9:43Speaker 2: a strategy. I'm hoping they have a strategy because you
- 9:46Speaker 2: have him as a start.
- 9:47Speaker 3: I am hoping that their strategy is to get him
- 9:50Speaker 3: the ball more. I'm hoping that Daniel Jones is even
- 9:53Speaker 3: capable of getting him the ball more. But I'm hoping
- 9:56Speaker 3: for a squeaky wheel game. A lot of the times
- 9:58Speaker 3: we hear stuff like this and then the game plan
- 10:01Speaker 3: is emphasized, hey, especially in those first fifteen plays, let's
- 10:04Speaker 3: try to get the ball going to our best playmaker,
- 10:06Speaker 3: especially since last week on the first drive, Daniel Bellinger
- 10:10Speaker 3: got hurt was out for the game, so Waller was
- 10:12Speaker 3: asked to do a little bit more blocking. The Dolphins
- 10:15Speaker 3: are middle of the pack against tight ends. They don't
- 10:17Speaker 3: bring a ton of pressure, which I think has helped
- 10:19Speaker 3: Danny Dimes, and they're gonna score a bunch of points
- 10:22Speaker 3: against the Giants defense. So I'm guessing that means the
- 10:25Speaker 3: Giants are gonna be throwing the ball a whole lot.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know why they haven't just schemed
- 10:29Speaker 2: up more things because he is the most consistent playmaking
- 10:32Speaker 2: pass catcher they have in the offense. They're not using
- 10:34Speaker 2: Jalen Hyatt that I don't know what they're doing offensively,
- 10:37Speaker 2: but why not just try and force feed Darren Waller.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Hopefully that happens this week. Jake Ferguson, and I said
- 10:44Speaker 2: this on NFL Fantasy Live. There are only a handful
- 10:47Speaker 2: of tight ends I can think of to like confidently
- 10:49Speaker 2: start over Jake Ferguson. Right now, it's Travis Kelcey, It's
- 10:52Speaker 2: TJ Hawkinson, it's Sam Laporta, it's Evan Ingram. Trying to
- 10:56Speaker 2: think of like a fifth one of Mark and Mark Andrews.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Third is Mark Andrews is the other guy that I
- 11:00Speaker 2: would start over. Other than that, if you don't have
- 11:02Speaker 2: one of those five guys, why aren't you starting Jake Ferguson,
- 11:05Speaker 2: He was available.
- 11:06Speaker 3: On the waiver wire in a whole bunch of NFL
- 11:09Speaker 3: dot Com leagues earlier this week. Hopefully you were the
- 11:12Speaker 3: lucky one that picked him up, especially if you have.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I don't know, Kyle Pitts. Maybe Jake Ferguson has seen
- 11:18Speaker 3: elite well exactly seven targets in three of his four
- 11:21Speaker 3: games so far this season, and he has been Fantasy
- 11:24Speaker 3: productive with them. The Cowboys also love to utilize their
- 11:28Speaker 3: tight ends in the red zone. So right now, Jake
- 11:32Speaker 3: Ferguson is looking like the Dalton Schultz, the new Dalton
- 11:35Speaker 3: Schultz there for Dak Prescott and this Cowboys offense, even
- 11:38Speaker 3: in a tough matchup against the forty nine Ers defense,
- 11:41Speaker 3: I'm not shying away from I think you gotta start him.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I mean you gotta start him. He's still available on
- 11:45Speaker 2: about sixty percent of NFL dot Com league. So if
- 11:49Speaker 2: you're playing on NFL dot Com, give it a look
- 11:52Speaker 2: because there's a chance Jake Ferguson could be there for you.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Hunter Henry, I said a couple weeks ago that Hunter
- 11:58Speaker 2: Henry was about to break your heart. He had a
- 11:59Speaker 2: good start to the season, had a couple of touchdowns.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I just knew that it wasn't going to be sustainable.
- 12:04Speaker 2: And you don't like him this week against New Orleans.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Yeah, hot start, Like you said, He's really only had
- 12:09Speaker 3: one bad game. By a tight end standard, at least
- 12:12Speaker 3: for fantasy purposes. But his offense is in complete shambles
- 12:16Speaker 3: right now, and he draws the hardest matchup for a
- 12:19Speaker 3: tight end right now. The Saints have allowed a league
- 12:21Speaker 3: low eighty two receiving yeards sets through four games. It's
- 12:24Speaker 3: about twenty yards per game, give or take just one touchdown,
- 12:28Speaker 3: and the second fewest catches to the position given the matchup.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Given how his offense has looked right now, I think
- 12:35Speaker 3: there's better options at the position.
- 12:37Speaker 2: This Yeah, I just I don't trust anything really with
- 12:40Speaker 2: the Patriots offense. Like I still want to try and
- 12:42Speaker 2: believe in Remandre even but it's getting harder because they
- 12:45Speaker 2: just they can't move the ball, they can't score points.
- 12:48Speaker 2: It's really rough for the guys with the flags on
- 12:51Speaker 2: their helmets. Time now for a secondent. We like to
- 12:54Speaker 2: call how we feel in We'll rip through some of
- 12:56Speaker 2: the guys we're getting asked about the most on social
- 12:58Speaker 2: media websites dot and let's you know if they should
- 13:02Speaker 2: be in your lineups this week. So let's start with
- 13:04Speaker 2: Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Junior going against the
- 13:07Speaker 2: Tennessee Titans and their past funnel defense. How you feeling
- 13:10Speaker 2: about MPJ.
- 13:12Speaker 3: I'm feeling good about him this week. I think this
- 13:14Speaker 3: is a big bounce back spot. I know he's coming
- 13:16Speaker 3: off his first down game of the season, but he's
- 13:18Speaker 3: still tied for the team lead in targets and the
- 13:21Speaker 3: Titans they're in the top five in yards allowed to receivers,
- 13:25Speaker 3: but they really struggle against the deep ball as well.
- 13:27Speaker 3: We know that is an area where Pittman and Anthony
- 13:30Speaker 3: Richardson could excel. I mean, Richardson could throw it like
- 13:32Speaker 3: fifty yards while falling down. So I feel good about
- 13:35Speaker 3: Pittman bouncing back. Feel really good about Pittman this week.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Also feeling really good about David Montgomery against the Carolina Panthers.
- 13:43Speaker 2: As much as a lot of people out there want
- 13:44Speaker 2: Jamior Gibbs to get a bigger role, and look, maybe
- 13:46Speaker 2: one day it's going to happen. Right now, this is
- 13:49Speaker 2: David Montgomery show. He is effective, he's running the football well.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I know he's not flashy, but he's getting the job done.
- 13:55Speaker 2: And he gets to face a Panthers run defense that
- 13:57Speaker 2: has been awful all year long. I would expect that
- 14:00Speaker 2: David Montgomery is going to get plenty of touches, plenty
- 14:03Speaker 2: of opportunities to just run through that Panther defense, and
- 14:05Speaker 2: I feel great about having him in the lineup. Meanwhile,
- 14:09Speaker 2: Jamison Williams expected back for Detroit against the Panthers pass defense.
- 14:13Speaker 2: How do you feel about him?
- 14:14Speaker 3: I feel great about having him back on my fantasy rosters.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Not quite ready yet to put him in the starting lineup.
- 14:21Speaker 3: He's coming off the hamstring injury, the suspension, all of
- 14:24Speaker 3: that in a game where I think the Lions will
- 14:26Speaker 3: be playing from ahead and probably running the ball a
- 14:28Speaker 3: whole bunch in the second half, I want him on
- 14:30Speaker 3: all of as many rosters as I possibly can. I
- 14:32Speaker 3: just want to take a wait and see approach.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's probably whise because even Dan Campbell's
- 14:36Speaker 2: saying he's going to play kind of a specific role
- 14:38Speaker 2: in the offense. Meanwhile, George Pickens to you know, on
- 14:42Speaker 2: the Baltimore Ravens, it looks like Kimmy Pickett is going
- 14:45Speaker 2: to play. I feel kind of about him. I mean,
- 14:48Speaker 2: full disclosure, I have him in the sleepers column, but
- 14:50Speaker 2: I'm not expecting big production out of him. What helps
- 14:54Speaker 2: for him is that he's pretty much the only guy
- 14:56Speaker 2: that's making plays in the passing game for this offense,
- 14:59Speaker 2: So I think that's a good signed. The bad news
- 15:01Speaker 2: is the Ravens have been really tough against opposing passing games.
- 15:04Speaker 2: So we'll see how it is. I feel like if
- 15:06Speaker 2: you have to start him, I understand. If you have
- 15:08Speaker 2: other options, maybe you consider those, but I get it
- 15:11Speaker 2: if this is what you got to do. Meanwhile, Isaiah Pachecko,
- 15:14Speaker 2: who runs like he's trying to kill the turf monster,
- 15:17Speaker 2: how do you feel about him against the Vikings this week?
- 15:19Speaker 3: I was gonna say, unless you're Blade of Grass at
- 15:21Speaker 3: the USBA Stadium right now, you should be feeling good
- 15:24Speaker 3: about Isaiah Pachecko. He's been more effective as a fantasy
- 15:28Speaker 3: running back. He's getting used more in the passing game,
- 15:30Speaker 3: and I think this is a game where the Chiefs
- 15:32Speaker 3: could have a lead in the second half and we
- 15:34Speaker 3: know that they like to grind the clockout using Pachecko.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Isaiah Pachecko is playing well. I mean,
- 15:39Speaker 2: as much as you know, I won't say I faded him,
- 15:41Speaker 2: but I was not big on him. But the credit
- 15:43Speaker 2: where it's to do. He's playing some really good football
- 15:46Speaker 2: right now. Speaking of Pachecko, We're going to be talking
- 15:48Speaker 2: about some running backs after the break, plus going to
- 15:51Speaker 2: open up the velvet ropes to get inside club up.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Stick around for more of the startup Sit Them show.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Let's talk some start them, Sit them running backs four
- 16:05Speaker 2: Week five Mike.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Devon Ahn is one hundred percent a must start option,
- 16:09Speaker 3: James Connor in a good matchup, and Brece Hall. The
- 16:12Speaker 3: fourth name there was Brian Robinson. I did not expect
- 16:15Speaker 3: them to drop back fifty five times in.
- 16:16Speaker 2: A row this week.
- 16:17Speaker 3: My bad the sits Ramandre Stevenson. Maybe you can't get away,
- 16:21Speaker 3: but if you can, I would Najie Harris. Same thing
- 16:25Speaker 3: pains me to say, Jamir Gibbs, and then Miles Sanders.
- 16:27Speaker 3: I have him on a couple of teams. I won
- 16:29Speaker 3: no part of him in my starting line.
- 16:31Speaker 2: The Trooper Hubbard run last week was a little bit
- 16:34Speaker 2: surprising and a little bit worrisome for Miles Sanders. But
- 16:38Speaker 2: let's start with Breese Hall, who look the leash is off.
- 16:43Speaker 2: No more snapcounts, no more limits. I also means you
- 16:46Speaker 2: could probably take a bite of Dovin Cook. But the
- 16:48Speaker 2: good news is Breese Hall full go against a bad
- 16:52Speaker 2: Broncos defense.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Yeah, and It was a good sign last week to
- 16:55Speaker 3: see him lead the backfield and carries, routes, targets, all
- 16:58Speaker 3: of that now no snapcount, like you said, and just
- 17:01Speaker 3: in time for the best possible matchup a running back
- 17:04Speaker 3: could have the Denver Broncos. Not only have they allowed
- 17:06Speaker 3: the most rushing yards, it was over one hundred more
- 17:09Speaker 3: than any other team entering Week five, they've allowed the
- 17:12Speaker 3: most touchdowns and are top five in receiving yards, touchdowns
- 17:15Speaker 3: and catches allowed two running backs. I'm hoping for a
- 17:20Speaker 3: vintage maybe Breese Hall's best game as a pro.
- 17:22Speaker 2: So far as what I'm hoping, I would like that.
- 17:25Speaker 2: That would be fun. I would enjoy that. Jamiir Gibbs,
- 17:28Speaker 2: you mentioned how it pained you to put him on
- 17:31Speaker 2: the set list, and we keep wanting bigger, better things
- 17:34Speaker 2: for Jamiir Gibbs. We were told that they were going
- 17:36Speaker 2: to use him in ways we never imagined, and they
- 17:38Speaker 2: are right because I never imagined that he was going
- 17:40Speaker 2: to be playing second fiddle to David Montgomery. But what
- 17:44Speaker 2: is is, so we are sitting him against the Panthers.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Yeah, for everything that you said, like right now, on
- 17:50Speaker 3: a per touch basis, he is averaging more yards per carry,
- 17:53Speaker 3: more yards before and after contact, more explosive runs. It
- 17:57Speaker 3: does not matter whatsoever. All the volume, all the goal
- 18:01Speaker 3: on volume especially is going to David Montgomery. Gibbs is
- 18:05Speaker 3: averaging just nine point seven Fantasy points per game, and
- 18:08Speaker 3: I think this is a game where the Lions will
- 18:10Speaker 3: have a lead, which scares me because when that happened
- 18:14Speaker 3: last week, David Montgomery ran thirty two times. So yeah,
- 18:17Speaker 3: I'm trying to get Gibbs out the laws.
- 18:19Speaker 2: If the Lions have a lead, it's going to be
- 18:20Speaker 2: the David Montgomery show. You better believe that. And that's
- 18:23Speaker 2: kind of what I'm thinking is going to happen this week.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Remandre Stevenson. I know Adam Rank still has high hopes.
- 18:29Speaker 2: He's still optimistic about Remandre, and God bless him for that,
- 18:31Speaker 2: because I want to be on that same train too.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I just cannot be. You have him as a sit
- 18:35Speaker 2: against New Orleans.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Yeah, he is yet to run for sixty yards in
- 18:40Speaker 3: a game this season, and then the past game usage,
- 18:43Speaker 3: that's what we were hanging our head on for Remandre
- 18:45Speaker 3: Stevenson last year. He does not have more than ten
- 18:48Speaker 3: receiving yards in a game since Week one. Well, the
- 18:51Speaker 3: Saints are stingy against running backs altogether, but we saw
- 18:55Speaker 3: when the Patriots are playing in a close gamer with
- 18:57Speaker 3: a lead, that is when they like to get Ezekiel
- 19:00Speaker 3: Elliott more involved. We saw it in Week two against
- 19:03Speaker 3: the Jets, and that is my fear that we see
- 19:05Speaker 3: it again this week. I understand you maybe can't get
- 19:07Speaker 3: away from him, but if you have another option that
- 19:09Speaker 3: you feel pretty good about, I would.
- 19:12Speaker 2: We are happy to be joined once again by researcher
- 19:15Speaker 2: extraordinaire Rams Homer and man of floral print Shirts, LaQuan Jones.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Good to see again, LQ.
- 19:21Speaker 4: What's up?
- 19:22Speaker 2: What's up?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Man?
- 19:22Speaker 4: It's Friday.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I got my loud shirt on, So I feeling good, man,
- 19:25Speaker 2: feeling pretty good? All right, So if you're feeling so great,
- 19:27Speaker 2: how about you give us your five sleepers of the week. Listen.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Coming at number five, I got Michael Wilson. He's been
- 19:33Speaker 4: showing up and showing out these last two weeks. Man,
- 19:36Speaker 4: he's been really impressive. I mean two hundred and thirty
- 19:38Speaker 4: seven receiving yards, he's second on the team. But what's
- 19:41Speaker 4: really standing out to me is this fourteen point eight
- 19:44Speaker 4: receiving yards per target, which is first on the team.
- 19:46Speaker 4: So this guy's getting separation and he's making the difficult,
- 19:49Speaker 4: difficult catches. I mean, he's playing out wide and he's
- 19:52Speaker 4: also playing in the slide, which is great, but that
- 19:54Speaker 4: could be why Roano Moore hasn't been on the field
- 19:57Speaker 4: much because of Michael Wilson eating up that sly as well.
- 20:00Speaker 4: He's going up against his Bengals defense, who allowed a
- 20:02Speaker 4: receiving touchdown to a wide receiver in each of the
- 20:04Speaker 4: last three games. But man, these guys that were scoring
- 20:07Speaker 4: those touchdowns, they were wide receiver two, wide receiver three
- 20:09Speaker 4: type guys, not number one. So Michael Wilson he has
- 20:12Speaker 4: a chance this week and coming in at number four,
- 20:15Speaker 4: I got Jayden reid Man. He's another rookie that's been
- 20:18Speaker 4: standing out to me, Man, what can't this guy do?
- 20:20Speaker 4: Jet sweeps, contested catches downfield, He's standing out. He's jumping
- 20:24Speaker 4: off the paper right now. But he's averaging eleven and
- 20:27Speaker 4: a half Fantasy points per game right now. He's been
- 20:29Speaker 4: on the hot and cold streak the last couple of weeks.
- 20:31Speaker 4: But I like this Raiders defense. They're kind of a
- 20:33Speaker 4: mid of ale pack defense, and he has the upside
- 20:35Speaker 4: to make the big plays. I mean, he has seven
- 20:37Speaker 4: targets of twenty plus air yards, which is tied seventh
- 20:40Speaker 4: in the NFL. And we've seen last week the Raiders
- 20:43Speaker 4: give up some really big passes to Josh Palmer closing
- 20:46Speaker 4: out the deal. But listen, I really feel like this
- 20:48Speaker 4: is the opportunity for Jordan Love and Jayden Reid to
- 20:50Speaker 4: connect downfield. He has a healthy twenty percent target share.
- 20:53Speaker 4: Not really worried about Christian Watson because he plays outside
- 20:56Speaker 4: and Red is eating up the slot. So I like
- 20:57Speaker 4: him this week as a sleeper. Next up, I got
- 21:00Speaker 4: John new Smith, the Falcons tight end one. I know
- 21:04Speaker 4: Kyle Pitts managers are not gonna like that, but man,
- 21:06Speaker 4: he's looked good. Last week he had a career high
- 21:08Speaker 4: ninety five receiving yards in a game. And did I
- 21:11Speaker 4: mention he's leading the Falcons in receiving yards right now,
- 21:14Speaker 4: which is crazy to think about, but he's looking like
- 21:16Speaker 4: Desmond Ritters go to tight end. There's no other team
- 21:19Speaker 4: in the NFL right now there are a target and
- 21:21Speaker 4: a tight ends more than the Falcons. Thirty seven percent
- 21:23Speaker 4: target shared to this tight end the unit, which is crazy,
- 21:26Speaker 4: but going against this Texans defense were on the road
- 21:29Speaker 4: going into the Falcons house, and hopefully we can get
- 21:31Speaker 4: a better version of Desmond Ridder because he's four to
- 21:33Speaker 4: oh at home. So let's get some points to John
- 21:35Speaker 4: the Smith this week. And coming up next, we got
- 21:38Speaker 4: Zay Flowers going against this Pittsburgh Steelers defense. He's electric man,
- 21:41Speaker 4: a home run ability at any point, an explosive playmaker.
- 21:45Speaker 4: But I know the fantasy points have been on snooze
- 21:48Speaker 4: as of late, but I think this is the game
- 21:49Speaker 4: where they wake up against the Steelers defense who's allowing
- 21:52Speaker 4: the second most fantasy points per game to wide receivers
- 21:55Speaker 4: in the most completetions of ten plus yards by the way,
- 21:58Speaker 4: So this is an opportunity for Lamar and Fers to
- 22:00Speaker 4: go down the field and make the big plays. And
- 22:02Speaker 4: there's no question here whatsoever about the volume. I mean,
- 22:05Speaker 4: he's leading the team in targets with a twenty eight
- 22:07Speaker 4: percent targets here. That's elite. Zay Fowers light the Pittsburgh
- 22:10Speaker 4: Steelers up this weekend, please and thank you now and
- 22:13Speaker 4: to going.
- 22:14Speaker 2: To my sleeper.
- 22:15Speaker 4: As crazy as sounds, Zach Wilson against this bad, bad,
- 22:19Speaker 4: bad Denver defense man, he looked good last week against
- 22:23Speaker 4: the Chiefs. Man, he's gaining some confidence. He had a
- 22:25Speaker 4: career high one hundred and five point two passer rating,
- 22:28Speaker 4: which is great.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Man.
- 22:29Speaker 4: He looked cool, common collected. He made better decisions with
- 22:32Speaker 4: big Bro up in the skybox watching them. Man Rodgers,
- 22:35Speaker 4: there's pressure, but hey, pressure mixed diamonds. He made some
- 22:37Speaker 4: big boy throws. So going against this Denver defense man,
- 22:40Speaker 4: they're bad against quarterbacks. They're allowing the most fantasy points
- 22:43Speaker 4: two quarterbacks right now, in the most touchdowns. This could
- 22:46Speaker 4: be a game that could be a launch pad for
- 22:48Speaker 4: Wilson to set the tone for the rest of the season.
- 22:50Speaker 2: I believe in you, Zach. I believe in Zach Wilson too.
- 22:53Speaker 2: This week, I mean, it's gonna come back to Burners.
- 22:55Speaker 2: There's no way, there's no way, there's no way this
- 22:58Speaker 2: doesn't come back to Burners. But I believe Zach Wills.
- 23:00Speaker 2: This week. Also, when you said John new Smith, I
- 23:02Speaker 2: heard the sad prices right horn in my head bump.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Just because we all put our chips on Kyle Pitts again,
- 23:10Speaker 2: yees this year. All right, enough, tom me get excited
- 23:13Speaker 2: because we are putting on our finance. We're spraying on
- 23:16Speaker 2: the X body spraying. Let's say the guys that we
- 23:19Speaker 2: guarantee will score twenty five or more fantasy points this week,
- 23:23Speaker 2: So the kwand we handed back to you. Who's getting
- 23:25Speaker 2: into the club this week.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Listen, Joe Mixon's on his way to the club this weekend,
- 23:29Speaker 4: and you can tell by the shirt.
- 23:30Speaker 2: I'm rolling with him. Man, I'm definitely.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Ryan with Mixing going against this Cardinals defense. We're allowing
- 23:35Speaker 4: the third most fantasy points for gaining to running backs
- 23:37Speaker 4: and they also have the fourth most mistackles in the
- 23:40Speaker 4: league right now. But more importantly, they're tied fifth with
- 23:43Speaker 4: the most receptions allowed to running backs. We saw Mixing
- 23:46Speaker 4: last season have a career high in targets, receiving yards,
- 23:49Speaker 4: and receptions. So the Bengals really got a lean on
- 23:51Speaker 4: them with this banged up offense. You got T Higgins
- 23:54Speaker 4: deal with a rib injury, he's questionable, Joe Burrow not
- 23:57Speaker 4: playing at one hundred percent right now, so this would
- 23:59Speaker 4: be the time that the Bengals can lean on Joe
- 24:01Speaker 4: Mixon get more involved in the past game. So this
- 24:04Speaker 4: could be a Joe Mixon breakout game this week.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Listen to this.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Man when it comes to club and he's from the
- 24:10Speaker 3: same town as situation in Snookie.
- 24:12Speaker 2: He knows a thing or two about it.
- 24:14Speaker 3: For me, I'm gonna look, I'm taking Devon ah Chan
- 24:19Speaker 3: because he's amazing. Like, I don't know what else I
- 24:21Speaker 3: need to say about that. He's basically averaging a visit
- 24:23Speaker 3: to Club Dub each and every week. Last week eight carries,
- 24:27Speaker 3: he turned it into over one hundred yards. He's being
- 24:30Speaker 3: used as the goal line runner there. He's playing more
- 24:32Speaker 3: snaps than raheem mostered, and he is being utilized in
- 24:35Speaker 3: the passing game. And I haven't even said anything about
- 24:38Speaker 3: the matchup he plays the Giants. Do I need to
- 24:41Speaker 3: say anything more? He is going to go off this week?
- 24:44Speaker 3: Make sure he is in your starting line up.
- 24:45Speaker 1: All right?
- 24:46Speaker 2: So Levon a Chan who has been the new hotness
- 24:48Speaker 2: and starting to get his name on the list at
- 24:51Speaker 2: Club Dub, I'm gonna go with Breese Hall. And you
- 24:54Speaker 2: know you heard Florio talk about him as a guy
- 24:56Speaker 2: on the start list this week. You heard El LQ
- 24:59Speaker 2: talk about to Zach Wilson being a sleeper. I like
- 25:03Speaker 2: the Jets offense this week. I don't know, I mean,
- 25:05Speaker 2: I do like the Jets offense. I also just like
- 25:07Speaker 2: going against the Broncos defense. I don't really care how
- 25:09Speaker 2: you figure it, but this is the week that we
- 25:11Speaker 2: see a lot of Breeze Hall. The training wheels are off,
- 25:14Speaker 2: there are no limits, there are no snap restrictions. It's
- 25:17Speaker 2: going to be a heavy dose of Breeze Hall going
- 25:19Speaker 2: against a bad defense. This is the week that the
- 25:21Speaker 2: Jets sort of make you believe. Now, mind you, they'll
- 25:23Speaker 2: probably snatch that hope away later in the season, but
- 25:25Speaker 2: for now, the Jets are gonna make you believe in
- 25:27Speaker 2: everybody who spent that draft capital on Breeze Hall. At
- 25:31Speaker 2: least for one week. You're gonna be happy you did
- 25:33Speaker 2: it when he's popping bottles in Club Dub. Before we
- 25:38Speaker 2: get out of here, we do want to say thank
- 25:41Speaker 2: you and goodbye to one of our own, our own
- 25:43Speaker 2: Parker Fenton, who has been with us for years and
- 25:46Speaker 2: is law off to bigger and better things. Whether it's
- 25:50Speaker 2: this show, whether it's the NFL Fantasy Football Show, any
- 25:52Speaker 2: of our streaming shows. We could not have done them
- 25:54Speaker 2: without Parker's wonderful help. So we love you, we miss you,
- 25:58Speaker 2: we wish the best for you. In Florida. What means
- 26:00Speaker 2: there's one less Bills fan here to support you every week.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Who am I gonna come in and talk to you
- 26:05Speaker 3: on Mondays after the Bills lose? Now, I don't know,
- 26:08Speaker 3: but yeah, we're gonna miss Parker, Gonna miss Parker's dad
- 26:11Speaker 3: so much. The Fenians are an amazing family in Parker.
- 26:15Speaker 3: It's been a pleasure and an honor to work with
- 26:17Speaker 3: you and best of luck.
- 26:18Speaker 2: One hundred percent. We are completely going to miss you,
- 26:20Speaker 2: but we wish you the best and we know you
- 26:22Speaker 2: will be successful wherever you go in the meantime. That
- 26:25Speaker 2: will do it for us. Here on this edition of
- 26:27Speaker 2: The Startup Sidham Show. For Lakwan Jones, for Michael F. Floya,
- 26:31Speaker 2: I am Marcus Grant. We appreciate you hanging out with us.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Enjoy the weekend everybody, and we'll talk to you again
- 26:36Speaker 2: real soon.
