- 0:00Speaker 1: All right. Good day. Good day. Um, how are you?
- 0:09Speaker 1: How are you? Uh, how are I? How are, how
- 0:14Speaker 1: are us? Um, good to see everyone. Good to be
- 0:19Speaker 1: here with you. Happy Thanksgiving. Happy November. Happy existence. You know,
- 0:25Speaker 1: that's something as well. Um, This year went, baby, this year.
- 0:31Speaker 1: That thing is, this year was just hooked to a
- 0:34Speaker 1: dang laser beam. I feel like, what was that? You
- 0:40Speaker 1: almost had to slow down the film to even remember
- 0:44Speaker 1: the summer. It was just, this thing was just, this
- 0:51Speaker 1: took the HOV lane this year. Life got roller skates on.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Life's got just roller skates on. I couldn't even make
- 1:05Speaker 1: an accurate police report on April. I couldn't tell you
- 1:11Speaker 1: what she looked like, what she was wearing. The officer
- 1:15Speaker 1: was like, well, can you tell me, April, tell me
- 1:19Speaker 1: how tall I look. I don't know, damn it. It
- 1:22Speaker 1: just all went so fast. You know, and I don't
- 1:29Speaker 1: know if it's just that life feels faster now, but
- 1:32Speaker 1: you can't even get your hands on it. I mean,
- 1:38Speaker 1: it's like just trying to grab sand. You can get
- 1:41Speaker 1: some of it, but then it just, it ends up just,
- 1:47Speaker 1: you just, you just realize and you can't get it.
- 1:51Speaker 1: You can't get that grip on it, boy. It's like
- 1:56Speaker 1: trying to just do a, um, What's it called? The
- 2:01Speaker 1: guy you go to and you go in his shop
- 2:03Speaker 1: or whatever and it's... He pretends like he has a
- 2:06Speaker 1: secretary or whatever, but he doesn't. And then you go
- 2:08Speaker 1: in there and he lays you down and he like.
- 2:14Speaker 1: He asks you like a question or something, but you're
- 2:16Speaker 1: so nervous that you're going to get touched or whatever.
- 2:18Speaker 1: What is that? Dang it. Chiropractor. It's like trying to
- 2:25Speaker 1: be a chiropractor. on sand, you know, you just, you
- 2:31Speaker 1: can't move it, you can't control, you just, you think
- 2:35Speaker 1: you can, and then there's nothing, anyway, I'm rambling, I'm
- 2:41Speaker 1: just saying it's been a long year, and I'm happy
- 2:45Speaker 1: to be here with you today, and yeah, just thank
- 2:48Speaker 1: you guys for just your patience on doing solo episodes,
- 2:51Speaker 1: I wanted to tape this yesterday, but I just, I
- 2:54Speaker 1: was just so damn rattled, You ever wake up and
- 2:58Speaker 1: you're just damn rattled? I mean, it's just like a
- 3:02Speaker 1: couple pigeons are just living in your ass. You're just like,
- 3:07Speaker 1: what in the hell? And everything's a prop. Somebody, you know,
- 3:13Speaker 1: somebody comes to the door and they just, you know,
- 3:17Speaker 1: this guy came to the door and he was offering
- 3:20Speaker 1: pest control or whatever. And I'm like, you know, I
- 3:24Speaker 1: think they just came because I think I have like
- 3:26Speaker 1: 11 pest control guys because I, you know, I forget.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And then next thing, you know, hell, I'll be in
- 3:31Speaker 1: my living room reading a book and one of them
- 3:33Speaker 1: will just damn, just we'll just spray for, we'll just
- 3:36Speaker 1: spray for lice right in front of me. He'll spray
- 3:39Speaker 1: for lice right across my damn forehead sometimes. Cause I forget,
- 3:43Speaker 1: you know, I always forget when they're going to be here. You've,
- 3:47Speaker 1: you have that one afternoon you're doing a cook off
- 3:49Speaker 1: and they show up with those, um, with those, uh,
- 3:55Speaker 1: those uh chigger grenades or whatever and they're humming those
- 3:59Speaker 1: bitches you know when your family's out there you're trying
- 4:02Speaker 1: to put mustard on something and the baby's got damn
- 4:05Speaker 1: bug gas in his eyes it's just i i just
- 4:09Speaker 1: forget anyway the guy came and um he had just
- 4:15Speaker 1: uh the bug guy he's like you know we can
- 4:18Speaker 1: come we can come 17 times a year that's what
- 4:21Speaker 1: he said and i was like dude i don't want
- 4:24Speaker 1: When I get married, I don't want my wife coming
- 4:26Speaker 1: here 17 times a year. You know, so that's not
- 4:31Speaker 1: a sales tactic I wanted to hear. But the guy
- 4:36Speaker 1: had the biggest mustache I'd ever seen in my life.
- 4:40Speaker 1: And the only thing I could think the whole time
- 4:41Speaker 1: he's talking to me is, you need to go spray
- 4:44Speaker 1: up in that bitch. Because there ain't, there is not
- 4:49Speaker 1: a chance in hell You're not running some kind of
- 4:54Speaker 1: damn bug motel right up under your snout, daddy. There
- 5:00Speaker 1: ain't a C & H, baby. Chance in hell. You
- 5:05Speaker 1: ain't got a couple of fucking word lice running around
- 5:09Speaker 1: up in that trap house you got above your lip, daddy.
- 5:16Speaker 1: So it just, you know. I said, I think I
- 5:20Speaker 1: work good. You know, we got guys. I got seven
- 5:23Speaker 1: guys spraying right now, you know. I could barely talk
- 5:25Speaker 1: to the guy. Some guy was spraying right in front
- 5:27Speaker 1: of me. But, yeah, just everything's happened so fast. I
- 5:32Speaker 1: just get confused. Everything's happened so fast, and here we are.
- 5:39Speaker 1: And it's November, and it's like that. And I'm sure
- 5:49Speaker 1: it's like that for everybody. It's like, okay. Some of you,
- 5:54Speaker 1: your kid is, you know, your kid is aged this year.
- 5:59Speaker 1: You're like, man, I can't believe it. You know, Genevieve's
- 6:03Speaker 1: four now. Or your dad has got to get a hip,
- 6:07Speaker 1: got to get a new hip or new neck or whatever.
- 6:12Speaker 1: You're like, damn, it's already time next week. Ricky's getting
- 6:16Speaker 1: that new neck. you know, it's just, things happen fast,
- 6:24Speaker 1: you know, man, it was only seven months ago that, uh,
- 6:29Speaker 1: we laid my grandmother to rest, you know, just, it's
- 6:32Speaker 1: just all these things and life just keeps lifing, you know,
- 6:37Speaker 1: and it's just, um, yeah, it's a lot, it's a
- 6:40Speaker 1: lot for everybody, and it's marvelous at the same time,
- 6:43Speaker 1: it is existence, that's what it is, um, But I'm
- 6:49Speaker 1: grateful to be here with you guys today. And just
- 6:52Speaker 1: grateful to be taking a moment to think about our
- 6:55Speaker 1: lives and what they've been like. I want to say thanks.
- 7:03Speaker 1: It has been a while since we've had a solo episode.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I'm still going to try to do more. I'm finally
- 7:11Speaker 1: having a little more time to start to take care
- 7:13Speaker 1: of myself right now. And so that's feeling really good
- 7:15Speaker 1: just to be able to relax some. What's going on?
- 7:20Speaker 1: We had some shows in a lot of places. Thank you, guys.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It came out out there. We just got off the
- 7:24Speaker 1: road out in the Midwest, baby. O-H. We did it
- 7:29Speaker 1: out there on OSU. This campus, Grand Rapids, Michigan, baby.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Let's go. All over, we went up to... Where.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Else?
- 7:40Speaker 1: Oh, up in Montana. I think I do owe a
- 7:43Speaker 1: little bit of maybe an apology to.
- 7:49Speaker 1: What was that place called? It's like a place where
- 7:53Speaker 1: they have people. Oh, Chicago State? No, it's Colorado State.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Colorado Springs. Just Colorado Springs and Casper, Wyoming. When I
- 8:14Speaker 1: got there, I was dehydrated, man. I mean, I was just,
- 8:20Speaker 1: I mean, you could hear my eyes open. You know,
- 8:24Speaker 1: I opened my eyes and they, you could just like,
- 8:28Speaker 1: it was loud. You know, like somebody just hard-arred around.
- 8:33Speaker 1: You know, I saw a cat look over at me.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Like somebody just been hard-arring at it. And it was just,
- 8:40Speaker 1: I was so dried out. The weather there, it just,
- 8:45Speaker 1: the wind up there. It's nasty up there. The wind,
- 8:54Speaker 1: you open your eyes for a second, the wind will
- 8:55Speaker 1: get in there and clean them bitches out. Next thing
- 9:03Speaker 1: you do, I was having to lick my hand and
- 9:06Speaker 1: rub it into my eyes. Spitting in my hand and
- 9:10Speaker 1: rubbing it into my eyes. And even, you know, you're
- 9:14Speaker 1: looking at everybody through damn spit eyes or whatever. And
- 9:18Speaker 1: the ladies, they're like, oh, look at this little bitch
- 9:20Speaker 1: with his damn spit eyes. Oh, honky got them spit eyes.
- 9:32Speaker 1: But I was just dry as hell. Even the animals
- 9:34Speaker 1: up there are dry. You see a damn animal up there,
- 9:37Speaker 1: a dog up there. Casper Wyom and that thing up there. Somebody,
- 9:44Speaker 1: you write water on the ground and a dog come
- 9:46Speaker 1: lick on the word. people things thirsty as hell up there.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I saw a plant. It had grown up my leg
- 9:54Speaker 1: and was trying to, drink out of my, had me
- 9:58Speaker 1: a little canteen. I saw a vine stood somewhere for
- 10:04Speaker 1: 30 seconds. A vine grew up my leg. And it
- 10:06Speaker 1: had opened the top of my canteen. Yet now, everything's
- 10:12Speaker 1: thirsty as hell up there. It was super dry. It
- 10:19Speaker 1: was dry. I just wasn't ready for it. I was
- 10:21Speaker 1: so dry. I don't know. I can't even explain it
- 10:25Speaker 1: to you. I definitely did my best, but they gave
- 10:29Speaker 1: you oxygen tanks. All the oxygen tank is just a
- 10:33Speaker 1: can of just more dry. You hit that bitch, and
- 10:37Speaker 1: now you're just.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Everything, even the animals, they would sound like they were...
- 10:44Speaker 1: were dried out like moo. They had a cow, one cow,
- 10:50Speaker 1: I saw him.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Moo.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Like what? He's like moo. But he was so dry.
- 11:03Speaker 1: So that was just a, but beautiful country, beautiful place.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I just, I was shocked at how dehydrated, I got
- 11:09Speaker 1: IVs up there. It just took me a little bit
- 11:12Speaker 1: to get on my feet, man. It was a lot.
- 11:14Speaker 1: That was probably one of the more hectic times that
- 11:17Speaker 1: I've had this year. Just healthness, you know? And being
- 11:22Speaker 1: alive and being like that. I went out to Montana.
- 11:28Speaker 1: But all that area. Colorado Springs. And thank you for
- 11:31Speaker 1: everybody coming out. And Casper. I can't even believe it.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I mean, Montana.
- 11:40Speaker 5: Wow.
- 11:40Speaker 1: All of those regions. I mean, that's where Mother Nature just.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Just tries on her clothes up there, baby. It's beautiful.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Everything you see is beautiful. You know, it's just remarkable.
- 11:56Speaker 1: So to even get to go to that part of
- 11:57Speaker 1: the country that people came out, thank you guys so much,
- 12:02Speaker 1: to all the places that we went, man. I got
- 12:04Speaker 1: to go to La Crosse, Wisconsin. And it's one of
- 12:12Speaker 1: the greatest little city town places I've been I didn't, man,
- 12:18Speaker 1: you always, I think of some people in your head,
- 12:21Speaker 1: you have ideas of a place that's kind of perfect,
- 12:23Speaker 1: you know? And they got, you know, somebody's walking their
- 12:28Speaker 1: kid home from school or whatever. And the kid's just
- 12:32Speaker 1: got a bunch of snot on his face or whatever.
- 12:35Speaker 1: But the parent leaves it. Just that, you know, because
- 12:38Speaker 1: there's something kind of beautiful about it. You know? Especially
- 12:43Speaker 1: when you were poor, dude. If your nose was running,
- 12:45Speaker 1: I'd let that bitch fly, cut. Because people are always
- 12:52Speaker 1: looking at you when you're poor. People always look at
- 12:54Speaker 1: you like you ain't got nothing. And that's why when
- 12:59Speaker 1: my nose was running, I'd be like, oh yeah, I
- 13:01Speaker 1: got this, bitch. I got this, snot. So there is
- 13:10Speaker 1: something very beautiful about that, um, But we were there
- 13:13Speaker 1: in La Crosse. Or La Crosse. They say it. Or
- 13:19Speaker 1: a lot of gay dudes. They say it like. Hey
- 13:23Speaker 1: I'm in La Crosse. But just beautiful. I mean just
- 13:27Speaker 1: to get to see some of America man. And to
- 13:30Speaker 1: get to see a lot of you folks. And we
- 13:32Speaker 1: try to do some meet and greets after the shows.
- 13:34Speaker 1: And just we did everything that we could. I promise
- 13:36Speaker 1: you that. So thank you guys so much for the support.
- 13:39Speaker 1: And um. Yeah, Thanksgiving's just coming in. Trevin, how are
- 13:42Speaker 1: you feeling today?
- 13:45Speaker 6: I'm good, man.
- 13:45Speaker 1: A little chilly.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 1: It's brisk out, huh? That's for sure. And you think
- 13:50Speaker 1: it's going to get worse this year? What are they
- 13:52Speaker 1: saying there? And if you're looking at the diameter or whatever,
- 13:58Speaker 1: the air diameter or the weather, what are they saying?
- 14:02Speaker 7: Yeah, the weather.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Yeah, about the same.
- 14:05Speaker 6: Going to get a lot colder, man.
- 14:06Speaker 8: God.
- 14:07Speaker 7: Get ready.
- 14:09Speaker 1: BLM, baby. Burr Lives Matter, son. It's going to get
- 14:14Speaker 1: brisk out. What else has been going on? Oh, I'll
- 14:19Speaker 1: tell you. You know what was something that I thought
- 14:21Speaker 1: was really special that I got to be around or
- 14:24Speaker 1: be a part of or be around, really? So SNL
- 14:30Speaker 1: Saturday Night Live was going on, and Bill Burr was
- 14:33Speaker 1: going to be on it. And Bill Burr is there's
- 14:36Speaker 1: nobody like him. There's no, I mean, there's nobody like him.
- 14:41Speaker 1: He is, he is himself and he is one of one.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And I wanted to go see, I'd never been to SNL.
- 14:48Speaker 1: I'd never been over there and seen it, you know?
- 14:52Speaker 1: And so myself, who came with me? Oh, my buddy
- 14:56Speaker 1: Kevin and, um, and John Farley was there and that's
- 15:01Speaker 1: Chris Farley's brother. And, uh, And it was just like, man,
- 15:06Speaker 1: to be at SNL, you know, where Chris Farley and
- 15:09Speaker 1: Spade and Nealon and Carvey and all of the like, uh, rock, um, Sam,
- 15:16Speaker 1: just all these wizards of, uh, you know, um, possibility,
- 15:22Speaker 1: you know, uh, Sherry, um, Oh, Terry, um, uh, who's
- 15:29Speaker 1: the lady that puts her, She's always taking her own
- 15:34Speaker 1: temperature or whatever and smelling it. Who's that lady? Her.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Just to be at SNL, Saturday Night Live, to be
- 15:43Speaker 1: on that stage, just to be there watching. And John
- 15:47Speaker 1: Farley was there, Chris Farley's brother. And it was the
- 15:50Speaker 1: first time he said that he'd been back there since
- 15:56Speaker 1: he'd been there with Chris. And that was just... I
- 16:01Speaker 1: don't know. It was just like, it just, it was
- 16:05Speaker 1: just kind of, it felt special, you know, cause I
- 16:08Speaker 1: just can't imagine. I can't imagine having a brother that is,
- 16:13Speaker 1: you know, so, well, first of all, it's your brother.
- 16:15Speaker 1: So they're very important to you, but then also there's
- 16:18Speaker 1: such a, uh, uh, entertainer. And then you go back
- 16:23Speaker 1: to the place where they, one of the places that
- 16:26Speaker 1: they're most known from, you know, and, um, Yeah, that
- 16:30Speaker 1: was just, it was magnificent, man, just to be able
- 16:32Speaker 1: to be there with him. And he told so many stories.
- 16:36Speaker 1: And I was kind of bummed that they didn't bring
- 16:38Speaker 1: him out on the stage and let him tell a
- 16:40Speaker 1: story out there at SNL. The stories he was telling
- 16:44Speaker 1: backstage were better than half of the things that were
- 16:48Speaker 1: happening on the tube, I thought. I mean, but also that's,
- 16:51Speaker 1: you know, I bet it was just crazy to hear
- 16:55Speaker 1: a guy talk about, you know, his brother, Chris Farley
- 16:59Speaker 1: and all these little moments that they'd had backstage and
- 17:02Speaker 1: just these funny things. And here, I'll say this. When
- 17:06Speaker 1: it came down to listening to him or watching some
- 17:08Speaker 1: of the sketches, I couldn't help but listen to some
- 17:11Speaker 1: of the things that he was saying. Because it was, yeah,
- 17:14Speaker 1: it just was like walking through time and walking through life.
- 17:21Speaker 1: time that really meant something, you know, time between brothers,
- 17:24Speaker 1: and so, yeah, that was pretty exceptional, but yeah, I
- 17:26Speaker 1: was like, SNL should have had him out there, like,
- 17:29Speaker 1: bring this guy, it's the first time he's been back
- 17:32Speaker 1: since his brother, it's like the closest Chris Farley will
- 17:35Speaker 1: get to being there, and yeah, it was just, I
- 17:41Speaker 1: don't know, so, but that was, it was great, I'm
- 17:43Speaker 1: not trying to tell, you know, I don't know, am
- 17:45Speaker 1: I talking too much or whatever, I don't know, but
- 17:48Speaker 1: But yeah, that was something neat to be a part of.
- 17:52Speaker 1: And what else? I went with my bud. My friend
- 17:55Speaker 1: has a son. And we took him to the swing set.
- 18:00Speaker 1: And then what else is going on? Oh, I watched
- 18:03Speaker 1: the CMAs, Country Music Awards, the other night. Because I
- 18:07Speaker 1: live in Nashville. And so you have to watch it
- 18:11Speaker 1: or people won't look you in the eyes for the
- 18:16Speaker 1: next year. And so... you know, I was checking it
- 18:20Speaker 1: out and Caleb Presley was on there doing presentation. Laney
- 18:26Speaker 1: Wilson was on there. So it's like, you know, I
- 18:29Speaker 1: got to peep it. I wanted to see if Jesse
- 18:30Speaker 1: Murph was going to be there. Jelly Roll was there.
- 18:34Speaker 1: That whole gang, baby. Jelly Roll, Yellow Wolf. I think
- 18:37Speaker 1: they had damn Jelly Wolf there. And it's just that
- 18:40Speaker 1: that is just a St. Bernard with a couple of
- 18:42Speaker 1: face tats on it. You know, but that whole like
- 18:45Speaker 1: musically recovering honky vibe, you know, that's really And Yellow Roll,
- 18:50Speaker 1: I saw damn Yellow Roll. And it was, Bobby Lee
- 18:55Speaker 1: was there. So it's just, you know, yeah, he's doing
- 18:59Speaker 1: music now. So it's just, you know, it's just, anyway,
- 19:02Speaker 1: it was a very diverse group over there. And what
- 19:06Speaker 1: am I talking about, damn it? Oh, but I watched
- 19:10Speaker 1: because I wanted to see if Red Clay Strays were
- 19:14Speaker 1: going to win. They were up for vocal group. which,
- 19:17Speaker 1: what does that even mean? Kind of, it's all music,
- 19:19Speaker 1: you know, but they didn't win. Old Dominion won it, right?
- 19:28Speaker 1: And Dominion, no disrespect, right? I haven't heard a lot,
- 19:32Speaker 1: you know, I don't think, first of all, if you
- 19:35Speaker 1: look at old Dominion, Dominion is a brother's name. And it's,
- 19:44Speaker 1: you know, Show me 30 dominions and I'll show you.
- 19:50Speaker 1: you know, how to get, how to get to Memphis.
- 19:53Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, bro? It's like, let's be realistic, baby.
- 19:57Speaker 1: That's Elvis's neighbors, homie. Okay. So, and so that was
- 20:02Speaker 1: the way I'm like, damn, they don't even, somebody's hiding.
- 20:05Speaker 1: They're hiding. They're hiding a brother amongst the four or
- 20:08Speaker 1: five of the guys that they have in the group
- 20:10Speaker 1: or whatever. But, yeah, I just wanted to see Ray
- 20:14Speaker 1: Clay Strays win. And I thought it was just a
- 20:16Speaker 1: chance for, you know, CMAs. Like, here you have a vibe,
- 20:21Speaker 1: you know, and no disrespect to OD, baby, but you
- 20:26Speaker 1: have a vibe. Ray Clay Strays, they sing prayers, man.
- 20:33Speaker 1: They sing things that I can't. They sing prayers that
- 20:36Speaker 1: I can't even make, that I can't even make the
- 20:40Speaker 1: words to. They sing those. And I just feel like
- 20:43Speaker 1: that's part of such a movement. And so, yeah, I
- 20:45Speaker 1: think I really wanted them to win that award. But
- 20:51Speaker 1: also then, Red Clay Strays, are they a country group?
- 20:56Speaker 1: And you could argue that. It's all of it. Are
- 21:01Speaker 1: they gospel? Gospel. I mean, they're music, and it doesn't
- 21:07Speaker 1: need a space to fit in. You don't need to
- 21:10Speaker 1: put every foot in a shoe, but it's like, well, yeah,
- 21:14Speaker 1: what are they? But it's a lot of vibrant prayer,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I feel like, coming out of those boys. And I'm
- 21:24Speaker 1: partisan as well, or partisan or whatever. Anyway, that's some
- 21:30Speaker 1: of the stuff that's been going on recently. And a
- 21:34Speaker 1: lot more. Some of it I can't remember. But yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 1: just CMAs, I felt like they had a chance to
- 21:40Speaker 1: pull some new blood in there. And I just didn't
- 21:46Speaker 1: see that, you know. But what do I know? I
- 21:50Speaker 1: don't know shit. You know, I'm just a loud honky
- 21:53Speaker 1: over here. That's all I am. What else? Grand Rapids,
- 21:58Speaker 1: beautiful place. Beautiful place, man. Just... Yeah, just to see
- 22:04Speaker 1: a lot of places where people are just thriving and
- 22:06Speaker 1: people are saying, hey, this is our community and we're
- 22:08Speaker 1: going to keep it like it is, man. That's something
- 22:10Speaker 1: that really felt great to witness. Well, now it's that
- 22:16Speaker 1: holiday season. It's time for family and food. And let's
- 22:21Speaker 1: be honest, a little bit of chaos. But hopefully the
- 22:25Speaker 1: most chaotic thing that happens this year is you slurping
- 22:28Speaker 1: down a little bit of oyster dressing. However, if things
- 22:31Speaker 1: don't go as planned, like a holiday mishap that leaves
- 22:34Speaker 1: you seriously hurt, your injury could be worth millions. Talking
- 22:40Speaker 1: about Morgan & Morgan, they have your back, even if
- 22:43Speaker 1: it's in a back brace. We hope you don't need them,

- 23:45Speaker 1: what else? It's Thanksgiving, guys. That's what it is, you know?
- 23:49Speaker 1: And that's the week it is, and it's a time, um, Thanksgiving,
- 23:58Speaker 1: it's wild that our calendar, that even our calendar, our setup,
- 24:04Speaker 1: our framework, our time-based framework for our society and for
- 24:14Speaker 1: civilization has a stop time in it to give thanks.
- 24:21Speaker 1: It's interesting that even time says hey hold on i
- 24:26Speaker 1: need you to give some thanks i need you to
- 24:28Speaker 1: you have to have some gratitude here you know and
- 24:33Speaker 1: i think that that to me that's pretty fascinating that
- 24:35Speaker 1: that is a speed bump that's been put into uh
- 24:39Speaker 1: our calendar it's just built in there you know it's
- 24:42Speaker 1: a comma that says hey care right care about the
- 24:49Speaker 1: things that have happened to you you know find things
- 24:52Speaker 1: to have gratitude for um And see, I want to
- 24:56Speaker 1: think about those today and just things that I'm thankful for. Um,
- 25:01Speaker 1: I'm thankful. Um, yeah, being able to whisper. That's a
- 25:08Speaker 1: big one. I'm so thankful for that because otherwise everybody
- 25:14Speaker 1: in your family would just wouldn't know how you felt
- 25:16Speaker 1: about them. So I'm just so thankful that, that God
- 25:22Speaker 1: lets us whisper, you know, um, I'm thankful for my family,
- 25:29Speaker 1: you know. I'm thankful that my sister makes me laugh
- 25:32Speaker 1: a lot and that she likes to laugh. I like
- 25:35Speaker 1: listening to her laugh sometimes. She's ridiculous and that makes
- 25:38Speaker 1: me laugh. I'm thankful my nephew talks to me. You know,
- 25:45Speaker 1: I wish he kind of hit my line more, but
- 25:48Speaker 1: I guess he's busy or whatever. Sure, whatever, dude. But
- 25:52Speaker 1: he's a child, you know, and it's like I just
- 25:54Speaker 1: got to be an adult and just take care of myself. But, oh,
- 25:59Speaker 1: I'm thankful that urine isn't hotter than it is when
- 26:02Speaker 1: it comes out of your body. That would be crazy, bro,
- 26:10Speaker 1: if urine just came out like even 10 degrees hotter, bro.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Because you'd go in the bathroom and they'd have one
- 26:16Speaker 1: dude in there about to urinate and everybody else would
- 26:18Speaker 1: be supporting him. And like, come on, Richard. Come on, Richard.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Blast that shit, homie. And he's like, it's kind of hurt.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Shut the fuck up, Richard. Piss, bitch. And people are like, whoa,
- 26:36Speaker 1: chill out, dude. He's fucking, it's hot, you know? And people,
- 26:41Speaker 1: and there'd be a gay dude just kind of holding
- 26:44Speaker 1: his back for no reason, just, or even pushing on
- 26:46Speaker 1: his butt. That's the weird thing, dude. If you're doing
- 26:49Speaker 1: a group piss, right, and everybody's supporting one guy who
- 26:52Speaker 1: has to piss, And the dude that's pushing up on
- 26:55Speaker 1: the guy's butt, that guy is not just trying to
- 27:03Speaker 1: be helpful. I know that, boy. So, yeah, I'm grateful
- 27:06Speaker 1: that pee pee or urine or whatever they want to
- 27:08Speaker 1: call it is at a manageable temperature. That's a big one.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I'm grateful that God lets me try. You know, I'm
- 27:22Speaker 1: grateful that God lets me try. You know, that every
- 27:28Speaker 1: single thing isn't final. Yeah, I'm grateful for that. I'm
- 27:35Speaker 1: grateful that my arms are, you know, they're not the best.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I think they're not the best length. I got medium
- 27:43Speaker 1: length arms, but I know that they're good enough to hug,
- 27:46Speaker 1: good enough. I wouldn't win a hug title or whatever.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I don't know if there is a title. Yeah, what else?
- 27:52Speaker 1: I'll think about some things throughout the show, throughout the
- 27:53Speaker 1: episode today. things that I'm thankful for, man. I'm thankful
- 27:57Speaker 1: that I have some shoes on right now. Yeah, I'll
- 28:04Speaker 1: keep thinking about it. But let's get into some calls, man.
- 28:06Speaker 1: You guys have been hitting the hotline, and I haven't
- 28:09Speaker 1: been there. But I just want to thank you for
- 28:13Speaker 1: hitting it. And as always, the hotline is 985-664-9503. And
- 28:21Speaker 1: let's get to a call right here. Here we go.
- 28:26Speaker 7: Theo, I just want to get your thoughts. I'm 28.
- 28:30Speaker 3: I just got out of the Navy. I live in
- 28:32Speaker 3: Orange County, California.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Thank you for your service, brother. We appreciate you.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Onward.
- 28:37Speaker 3: It's tough making friends as an adult.
- 28:41Speaker 4: My whole life, I've always ended up with black friends.
- 28:45Speaker 9: I play basketball and Navy.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Out of 200 white guys, five black guys, I ended
- 28:51Speaker 3: up being friends with a black guy. But, uh, I
- 28:54Speaker 3: want some white friends or like Asian friends. So I
- 28:58Speaker 3: just wanted your advice.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Like, how does that happen?
- 29:01Speaker 4: Or do I just stick with this? Hey, that's, this
- 29:03Speaker 4: is how it is.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Like black friends are my thing.
- 29:07Speaker 1: No brother. I don't think that, you know, I don't think,
- 29:09Speaker 1: I think you're good. You can get all types of friends.
- 29:13Speaker 1: That is for sure, man. You know, um, I think,
- 29:21Speaker 1: you know, basketball is a gateway drug to just a
- 29:27Speaker 1: brotherific type shit. Go out into your neighborhood right now,
- 29:33Speaker 1: dribble a basketball in the street, see if a couple
- 29:37Speaker 1: brothers don't show up. You know, that's that. You hear
- 29:42Speaker 1: a basketball banging on that street, that's the Michael Jordan
- 29:45Speaker 1: mating call, cut. You know, that's how it is, man.
- 29:49Speaker 1: You put a rim up anywhere and you're going to
- 29:52Speaker 1: get some black friends, man. That's not a racial thing.
- 29:56Speaker 1: That's just facts. You put a basketball rim up anywhere,
- 30:00Speaker 1: and you're going to have some brothers show up. You
- 30:04Speaker 1: put that bitch up in the ocean, you'll have a
- 30:07Speaker 1: couple wet brothers out there just double drowning out there.
- 30:12Speaker 1: So you have to think, if you want to get
- 30:14Speaker 1: different types of folks, you have to put out different
- 30:16Speaker 1: types of activities. So if you want to get more
- 30:22Speaker 1: Asian friends, you might want to do an Asian people
- 30:26Speaker 1: like hide-and-go-seek. That's easy, man. You know? And that's wild, bro.
- 30:33Speaker 1: You know, look at an Asian. Look at any resting
- 30:36Speaker 1: or sitting Asian, resting Asian, or AARs or whatever, Asians
- 30:40Speaker 1: at rest. Look at one. Bring up a couple, right?
- 30:46Speaker 1: Go to any of these folks and say, you keep counting,
- 30:50Speaker 1: I'll go hide. Because Asians got that clock in them, dog.
- 31:03Speaker 1: So that's something you could do to meet some Asians
- 31:05Speaker 1: right there, man. And also, it's okay to be a
- 31:08Speaker 1: white guy that has black friends. And I know you're
- 31:11Speaker 1: not saying there's anything wrong with it, but when I
- 31:15Speaker 1: was getting into life or whatever, they had a lot
- 31:17Speaker 1: of wiggas out there. And no cap, bro. Wiggas used
- 31:21Speaker 1: to be the thing, bro. Thomas Jefferson was a wigga, bro.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Real talk. And people don't want to say that shit,
- 31:31Speaker 1: but he was, man. But now they got Blonkies even.
- 31:34Speaker 1: They got Blonkies out there. You got a lot of
- 31:36Speaker 1: black dudes that want to be whiter or having more
- 31:41Speaker 1: white stuff go on in them. I mean, I saw
- 31:45Speaker 1: a brother crying in his car the other day outside
- 31:47Speaker 1: of a Jimmy John's. That's the whitest shit you could do.
- 31:51Speaker 1: That's our shit. So it's all good. What I'm saying
- 31:55Speaker 1: is the portal is always open, guys. There's no NIL money.
- 32:00Speaker 1: to have a new friendship and another ethnicity, man. That is, we,
- 32:03Speaker 1: you know, we're all bound to be beige in a
- 32:05Speaker 1: couple of generations anyway. So right now, if you want
- 32:09Speaker 1: to meet someone of a color or of a ethnicity,
- 32:13Speaker 1: then now is the time, baby bear. Cause in two,
- 32:17Speaker 1: three generations, everybody going to be beige, mauve, off mauve,
- 32:21Speaker 1: you know, cookies and crumb. People are going to be
- 32:25Speaker 1: all batched out and, uh, Jeanette modified or whatever. You
- 32:31Speaker 1: will have a Monsanto, uh, uh, taupe friend. You will
- 32:38Speaker 1: have an off Brown, uh, white bottom, um, speckled trout, uh,
- 32:47Speaker 1: Korean Mexican black lady. You're going to have it all, man.
- 32:54Speaker 1: So if you want to enjoy specific ethnicities now, now
- 32:58Speaker 1: is the time to do it because genetically we're all
- 33:02Speaker 1: heading to one color. We're going to be just one
- 33:05Speaker 1: little off-brown, semi-white, matte finish, gray baby bear of Christ, brother.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Praise God, man. What else do we have? Let's take
- 33:20Speaker 1: another call right here. Here we go.
- 33:25Speaker 10: Hi, Theo. Me and my family want to invite you
- 33:29Speaker 10: to our Thanksgiving dinner. This is Maria Gillen. It will
- 33:33Speaker 10: be up in Gallatin, Tennessee.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Oh, up in Gallatin. All right. Thank you for the
- 33:39Speaker 1: invite there.
- 33:41Speaker 10: And we think you could fit in really well with
- 33:43Speaker 10: our family and you would just bring a lot to
- 33:47Speaker 10: conversation and And I think it's going to be some
- 33:51Speaker 10: really good food. I can whip up some really good
- 33:53Speaker 10: mashed potatoes. Oh, and I'm making a pasta.
- 33:57Speaker 7: That's really good. Anyways.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Okay. Y'all them carb dogs up there. All right. That's beautiful.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I cannot make it. I appreciate it, though. Very sweet
- 34:08Speaker 1: of you. I am. You know what?
- 34:11Speaker 2: Here.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I'll call you and tell you I can't make it.
- 34:14Speaker 1: See if this works.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice message system.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Is not available. At the tone, please record your message.
- 34:28Speaker 2: When you have finished recording, you may hang up or
- 34:31Speaker 2: press one for more options.
- 34:34Speaker 1: What's up, you little potato maiden? How are y'all over there?
- 34:37Speaker 1: This is Theo. I'm just calling you back. I want
- 34:39Speaker 1: to let you know that I can't make it over
- 34:41Speaker 1: there for the Thanksgiving up there in Gallatin. But I
- 34:45Speaker 1: appreciate it. Hope you guys have a wonderful time up there.
- 34:49Speaker 1: And just thanks for thinking of me and thanks for
- 34:51Speaker 1: inviting me. That was very nice of you. And yeah,
- 34:54Speaker 1: that's about it. All right, I'm going to go now. Yeah,
- 35:01Speaker 1: I'm going down to Lafayette, Louisiana, baby. Dustin Poirier, you know,
- 35:06Speaker 1: every year they put cooking utensils into his fighting gloves.
- 35:14Speaker 1: And he gets out there and he'll beat up a
- 35:16Speaker 1: damn meal for you, son. Everything he serves, you got
- 35:19Speaker 1: a black eye. The black-eyed P's got two black eyes, bro.
- 35:22Speaker 1: You're like, dang. Some of them had broken ribs on them. Look,
- 35:26Speaker 1: I didn't even know P's had ribs. You know, he'll
- 35:29Speaker 1: give you a little turkey leg or something, and it's
- 35:32Speaker 1: in a cast. He beating the shit out of everything, bro.
- 35:36Speaker 1: A turkey neck and a neck brace. That's how he
- 35:40Speaker 1: does it, bro. He beat the eggs with his own hands, bro.
- 35:43Speaker 1: I see him. You'll see him in the yard. He
- 35:47Speaker 1: got on his fighting trunks and just, you know, just
- 35:52Speaker 1: putting a bunch of hand action into a damn mixing bowl.
- 35:56Speaker 1: You know, it's just crazy, man. I've never seen anybody
- 35:59Speaker 1: do it like that. You'll see him out there fucking
- 36:02Speaker 1: calf kicking a rump roast, bro. You're like, what is
- 36:05Speaker 1: going on? But that's where I'll be, man. That's become
- 36:10Speaker 1: a little tradition for me, and it's a blessing. I'm
- 36:13Speaker 1: excited about it. And then we have a large show
- 36:16Speaker 1: down there. It might be our largest show ever over
- 36:18Speaker 1: at the Cajun Dome in Lafayette, Louisiana. And I'm grateful
- 36:25Speaker 1: to be from over there. Just got my mother a
- 36:27Speaker 1: home over in Baton Rouge. My mom just moved back home.
- 36:32Speaker 1: So we got her a house over there, and I'm
- 36:34Speaker 1: just grateful to that. Thank you guys for the support
- 36:38Speaker 1: over the years. And she hasn't complained about it yet,
- 36:42Speaker 1: which is just damn unreal. So, what else? Let's take
- 36:50Speaker 1: another call. What are you thankful for, Trevin? You got
- 36:52Speaker 1: anything that pops into your head, brother?
- 36:53Speaker 7: Oh, every day, bro.
- 36:55Speaker 6: Thankful to wake up. Thankful to, you know, have a job.
- 37:00Speaker 6: Thankful mostly for my, you know, beautiful wife. Shout out
- 37:03Speaker 6: to Gabby and our family. And, yeah, the health.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that really is true, huh? Having some health, man. Yeah.
- 37:15Speaker 1: And taking care of it too, that's another thing. Because
- 37:18Speaker 1: I'll take, man, I'll take something for granted in a heartbeat.
- 37:22Speaker 1: I'll take my heartbeat for granted in a heartbeat. Oh,
- 37:30Speaker 1: something else going on out in the world today. What else?
- 37:34Speaker 1: We got a call that came in right here.
- 37:37Speaker 7: Hey, Michael.
- 37:38Speaker 8: I just want to say, I've been thinking about turkey
- 37:44Speaker 8: and ham. We didn't have ham at Thanksgiving because apparently
- 37:48Speaker 8: ham's a Christmas thing.
- 37:50Speaker 4: And I love honey ham.
- 37:52Speaker 8: And all they had was turkey.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Turkey's dry and.
- 37:55Speaker 8: Bland as shit. No honey.
- 37:57Speaker 5: So I didn't fuck with it. So I just wanted
- 38:00Speaker 5: your opinion.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Okay, brother. I see you there. I see you having
- 38:03Speaker 1: a lot of feelings about it. Yeah, turkey or ham. Well, ham, ham.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Ham is ham. You know, ham, it just, it gets
- 38:18Speaker 1: home and it's like, where's your mother? You know, that's ham.
- 38:23Speaker 1: But turkey, turkey, turkey, turkey's a little more risky, I think.
- 38:31Speaker 1: You know, it's a little, it's a little more perverted,
- 38:35Speaker 1: I think. Low key, bro. Turkey, you know, it's like,
- 38:40Speaker 1: what you want to do to me? Want to put
- 38:44Speaker 1: me in a sandwich? Want to, Put me in the fridge.
- 38:48Speaker 1: You want me now? You want me left over? What
- 38:52Speaker 1: do you want? So turkey kind of looking at you
- 38:57Speaker 1: like that. I feel like. Ham looks like it's been
- 39:02Speaker 1: smoking or whatever. Like, all right. You know, it'll party,
- 39:06Speaker 1: but it's, you know. You know, it's going to. It
- 39:10Speaker 1: won't be able to drive itself home. Ham, you know.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Because it drinks ham drinks. Ham drinks. But turkey is like,
- 39:21Speaker 1: it could be anywhere. It could be turkey. Turkey, you'll
- 39:25Speaker 1: see turkey in a high heel. You'll see turkey in
- 39:27Speaker 1: a high heel. a high heel. That bit, you know.
- 39:32Speaker 1: So that's how I feel, I guess, about that. What else?
- 39:36Speaker 1: Got a couple more calls that came in here. Oh,
- 39:42Speaker 1: here's a news story right here. Police find two-kilogram garden
- 39:47Speaker 1: gnome made entirely of MDMA. Wow. Yeah, that's it, man.
- 39:55Speaker 1: That's how it is now, baby, baby. They got aliens
- 39:58Speaker 1: in the ocean. They got MDMA in the garden gnomes. Okay?
- 40:05Speaker 1: Tape your eyelids to your ass cheeks, homie. And stay alert.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Because they ripping everybody out here. Praise God, baby. What
- 40:20Speaker 1: else do we have? We got another call that came
- 40:26Speaker 1: in right here.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Let's see. Home for Christmas.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Yo, Theo.
- 40:32Speaker 9: This is Harley from Portland, Oregon, man.
- 40:35Speaker 1: What's up, Harley? And I had a great time up there.
- 40:37Speaker 1: We did a show out there in Portland, which is
- 40:40Speaker 1: a great city. Let me say that. People are always like,
- 40:43Speaker 1: there's antifas up there, you know. you know, LARPing in
- 40:49Speaker 1: the park. It's just a bunch of leftover Antifa and
- 40:54Speaker 1: BLM activists and people, you know, adults wearing baby diapers
- 40:58Speaker 1: up there, LARPing in the park and sword fighting and
- 41:02Speaker 1: doing makeshift Renaissance fairs up there and shit. And damn
- 41:06Speaker 1: George Foreman grilling every meal and shit. But I thought
- 41:10Speaker 1: it was an amazing city. I'd never, I just hadn't,
- 41:14Speaker 1: it was just, it really shocked me how special it was. Yeah,
- 41:18Speaker 1: there's a naked guy pushing himself in a, you know,
- 41:24Speaker 1: and he's like, you know, has a boat oar and
- 41:26Speaker 1: he's going down the street in a adult baby carriage
- 41:32Speaker 1: or whatever. But it's awesome. I thought it was really,
- 41:38Speaker 1: really groovy. I really like Portland, Oregon. What did you
- 41:43Speaker 1: have to say, brother? Sorry I interrupted you there. Let's
- 41:45Speaker 1: hear more.
- 41:48Speaker 9: I really appreciate the way that you peddle your tickets,
- 41:52Speaker 9: the way that you encourage people to not use secondhand
- 41:56Speaker 9: sites because you don't want people paying more than they
- 42:00Speaker 9: should to come see you. I understand that and I
- 42:01Speaker 9: really respect that.
- 42:03Speaker 7: Yeah, totally.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Well, a lot of times what happens is people will
- 42:05Speaker 1: look up a ticket, right? Want to go to the show,
- 42:08Speaker 1: this city, this date or whatever. And then other secondary
- 42:12Speaker 1: sites that are reselling tickets will put them will pay
- 42:18Speaker 1: more to get their searching higher on Google and stuff
- 42:21Speaker 1: like that. And so then you click there and you're
- 42:24Speaker 1: not really paying an original, you don't even have an
- 42:26Speaker 1: option at a regular price ticket if there's still any available.
- 42:29Speaker 3: Onward.
- 42:30Speaker 5: But then I go.
- 42:31Speaker 9: To your website, man, and I see that theovon.com slash
- 42:36Speaker 9: tour is redirected to Ticketmaster. And I'm just curious, man,
- 42:42Speaker 9: you know, the people absolutely hate Ticketmaster.
- 42:45Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 42:45Speaker 1: And I'm one of the people, brother. I hate them.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I hate them. They've been running this scam forever. So
- 42:53Speaker 1: I don't know how we get a politician that is
- 42:55Speaker 1: going to break up the monopoly that's very obvious. I
- 42:59Speaker 1: don't know how you get that done. You know, I
- 43:02Speaker 1: would love to have a ticket broker on this year.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Maybe we can start delving into the dark depths of
- 43:07Speaker 1: all that. Because yes, it's a monopoly. It's sick. It's
- 43:11Speaker 1: sick that you could take three of your friends to
- 43:14Speaker 1: a show, but now you can only take one Because
- 43:17Speaker 1: the fees are astronomical. We don't see any money from
- 43:20Speaker 1: the fees. Artists don't. You know. It's just the same people.
- 43:27Speaker 1: It's these big companies. Who owns Ticketmaster? You look that
- 43:31Speaker 1: up for me. Live Nation Entertainment. So there you go.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Ticketmaster is a wholly owned subsidiary of Live Nation Entertainment.
- 43:47Speaker 1: which is headquartered in Beverly Hills. Yeah, well, I think
- 43:50Speaker 1: one of the issues, who's the owner of Live Nation,
- 43:53Speaker 1: I wonder? Vanguard. Well, here's, this is fucking hilarious. Zoom
- 44:06Speaker 1: in on this a little bit. Liberty Media Corporation is
- 44:10Speaker 1: the largest shareholder of Live Nation Entertainment, owning 30% of
- 44:12Speaker 1: the company. Other major shareholders include Vanguard owns 8.3%. BlackRock
- 44:19Speaker 1: Advisors owns 5.5%. So there you go. It's the same
- 44:26Speaker 1: people that own everything. So that's why you're getting fucked
- 44:30Speaker 1: because they own everything. They own the building that the
- 44:32Speaker 1: show is in sometimes and then they own the website
- 44:37Speaker 1: and they don't care. They don't care. That's the bottom line.
- 44:43Speaker 1: They don't care They don't care that it takes more
- 44:47Speaker 1: money out of your pocket. And mine. If I buy
- 44:51Speaker 1: tickets somewhere, they don't care. They want money. That's all
- 44:58Speaker 1: they want. So, yeah, that shit hurts my heart, man.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Nothing I can do about it, man. And maybe one
- 45:06Speaker 1: day there will be a better way to do it.
- 45:08Speaker 1: I know Zach Bryan tried a unique method through AXS,
- 45:12Speaker 1: I think, ticketing. but it hasn't shown up yet or
- 45:16Speaker 1: a way that's definitely definitively saves people that money. But yeah,
- 45:22Speaker 1: those people are robbing people and that's what it is.
- 45:26Speaker 1: But we have a government that continues to allow that
- 45:28Speaker 1: sort of business behavior, especially when they have a monopoly
- 45:32Speaker 1: on the market. Yeah, that's just, those are my feelings.
- 45:35Speaker 1: To me, it feels like it's bullshit. To you calling,
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm sure to everybody listening, I'd love to have an
- 45:40Speaker 1: extra $ 40 from people Ticking in fees to go get
- 45:43Speaker 1: me a soda or something. Get me a little Butterfinger
- 45:46Speaker 1: or something. Get mom the payday or whatever she likes eating.
- 45:49Speaker 1: She can't even hear the fucking show. She's over here.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Cheaper to get her a ticket than put her in
- 45:54Speaker 1: dang hospice or whatever. You know, she's over here, you know,
- 45:58Speaker 1: listening to whatever we're watching. You know, Metallica on ice
- 46:02Speaker 1: or whatever over here. You know, or Ice Spice on
- 46:06Speaker 1: ice or whatever. Who knows what the hell they're doing now.
- 46:09Speaker 1: You know, now they have a new Anxiety on Ice
- 46:12Speaker 1: as a new performance for kids. Like, what are we
- 46:14Speaker 1: even fucking taking our kids to? It's Big Pharma Anxiety
- 46:19Speaker 1: on Ice brought to you by Live Nation and Pfizer, dude.
- 46:23Speaker 1: That's what we're fucking doing. I mean, yeah. People at
- 46:26Speaker 1: least aren't blind to it. Praise God, brother. Thank you
- 46:30Speaker 1: for the call. And yeah, I'm sorry about it too, man.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Let me hear the end. Let me hear what you
- 46:32Speaker 1: have to say. I'm sorry.
- 46:34Speaker 3: And.
- 46:35Speaker 9: I personally would not go see a show just because
- 46:38Speaker 9: it's being sold strictly to ticket matters. So I was
- 46:41Speaker 9: curious if there was some kind of way that we
- 46:43Speaker 9: could get away from these big corporations and hopefully by
- 46:49Speaker 9: getting away from them, you know, you could get more
- 46:52Speaker 9: of a percentage of ticket sales.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Yeah, totally. I mean, those venues, they could give away
- 46:57Speaker 1: to something. They could do something. You know, they also, yeah,
- 47:01Speaker 1: they charge people for parking a lot of times or
- 47:04Speaker 1: it's just But some of it is business, but that
- 47:06Speaker 1: part I believe is egregious. That's how I feel. But no,
- 47:10Speaker 1: as of right now, I don't know another way. You know,
- 47:16Speaker 1: I could look into it though. Maybe one day I'll have,
- 47:18Speaker 1: you know, I could own venues with other people and
- 47:21Speaker 1: we could just do the shows there at our own
- 47:23Speaker 1: venues and we wouldn't sell tickets and we wouldn't gouge
- 47:29Speaker 1: people on those prices. Or maybe you'd find one politician
- 47:32Speaker 1: that would just run simply on the fact that they're
- 47:34Speaker 1: going to say, hey, fuck those guys. We're not going
- 47:36Speaker 1: to let them do it. We're going to figure out
- 47:37Speaker 1: a way. So it's just those greedy companies and dirty lawyers,
- 47:41Speaker 1: I believe. But also there may be stuff I don't
- 47:44Speaker 1: know about it. They may need an extra $ 42 a
- 47:48Speaker 1: ticket to send you that email. So I might be off.
- 47:57Speaker 1: What else? Sorry, am I getting negative there? Let me
- 48:02Speaker 1: think about what else I'm thankful for, man. I'm thankful
- 48:04Speaker 1: that I have buddies that check in on me. I
- 48:09Speaker 1: need to do a better job of that or I
- 48:10Speaker 1: would like to do a better job of that in
- 48:12Speaker 1: the coming year of checking in on people and checking
- 48:16Speaker 1: in on myself. You know, I want to make sure
- 48:19Speaker 1: I do a better job of that. What else am
- 48:23Speaker 1: I thankful for? Oh, I'm thankful my buddy Jeremy just
- 48:27Speaker 1: had a new baby, his third son. him and his wife,
- 48:32Speaker 1: Natalie just had a child and they just have a blessed,
- 48:36Speaker 1: just man, him and my buddy Curtis, they, they run
- 48:40Speaker 1: a speed and strength training, a training group over here
- 48:46Speaker 1: in Nashville. And it just, those guys are like, they're
- 48:51Speaker 1: like the best part of my week when I get
- 48:53Speaker 1: to be over there and just laugh with everybody. And
- 48:55Speaker 1: we have so much fun and they really uplift a
- 48:58Speaker 1: lot of, a lot of the community here. And so, yeah,
- 49:01Speaker 1: That's something I'm thankful for, that he had a healthy son.
- 49:06Speaker 1: What else am I thankful for? I'm thankful I got
- 49:11Speaker 1: to go to my buddy Scott's wedding this year. I'm
- 49:14Speaker 1: thankful I got to see my friend the other night.
- 49:20Speaker 1: I'm thankful that God lets me think about other people
- 49:22Speaker 1: and that I can try, that I can, you know,
- 49:26Speaker 1: that if there's patches where I go through where I
- 49:28Speaker 1: get stuck in myself that I can come out of those.
- 49:30Speaker 1: You know, we're not so, every thought doesn't have to
- 49:33Speaker 1: be a sentence, like a life sentence, you know, or
- 49:36Speaker 1: that every feeling isn't like a life sentence. Even though
- 49:39Speaker 1: there are moments sometimes where it feels like they might be.
- 49:42Speaker 1: They're not. Thankfully, you can see somebody that will change
- 49:48Speaker 1: your vibe. You can hear a song that will change
- 49:51Speaker 1: your energy. And you can choose to hear those things too.
- 49:58Speaker 1: What else? I'm thankful that some of the mistakes I've
- 50:00Speaker 1: made haven't put me in places that.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Make.
- 50:08Speaker 1: things very tough on me from day to day. You know,
- 50:11Speaker 1: that's been a lot of grace from God in those spaces.
- 50:18Speaker 1: What else? What do you think about, Trevin? Anything else?
- 50:22Speaker 1: Any other gratitudes coming into your head? Thankful for friends.
- 50:27Speaker 6: Like you said, being able to think about, you know,
- 50:31Speaker 6: being grateful in itself.
- 50:33Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 50:34Speaker 6: Being able to take the time to.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm thankful God lets me see different things or whatever.
- 50:41Speaker 1: See animals, bro. I would hate that shit if you
- 50:43Speaker 1: were at the zoo and people were just telling you
- 50:45Speaker 1: what the animals look like or whatever. And then the
- 50:48Speaker 1: guy starts touching you on the back or whatever. You're like,
- 50:50Speaker 1: this guy's a pedophile or whatever. You know, who am
- 50:54Speaker 1: I even with, dude? That's the kind of scary shit
- 50:57Speaker 1: that's out there. What else do we got?
- 51:00Speaker 10: Oh.
- 51:12Speaker 1: Oh, here we go, right here, gang shit. Let's hear
- 51:14Speaker 1: this one. They stay home for.
- 51:18Speaker 5: Hey, Theo, this is Big Red here, and.
- 51:22Speaker 1: Big Ridge, baby. Let's hear more, daddy.
- 51:25Speaker 5: I mean, I just want to preface by saying I'm
- 51:30Speaker 5: not racist, but.
- 51:33Speaker 8: Hmm.
- 51:39Speaker 1: All right. Onward?
- 51:42Speaker 5: Lately, I've been hanging out with some brothers, and I've
- 51:46Speaker 5: sneezed a couple times.
- 51:48Speaker 1: You sneezed, okay? You've been sneezing.
- 51:52Speaker 5: I've noticed that I've been sneezing around outside, and they
- 52:00Speaker 5: don't say bless you. I don't know if it's like
- 52:03Speaker 5: a me thing. I don't know if it's like... I
- 52:07Speaker 5: don't know if it's, like, hard to look tough, like,
- 52:09Speaker 5: saying bless you. Like, I don't know. I've been trying
- 52:13Speaker 5: to say bless you in the mirror in a tough way,
- 52:15Speaker 5: and I got to admit, it's a really hard task
- 52:18Speaker 5: to do, like.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Okay, I think I see what you're saying. You're saying
- 52:22Speaker 1: a lot of brothers, they don't say bless you when
- 52:23Speaker 1: you sneeze. Well, I mean, I think that's just life, bro.
- 52:28Speaker 1: I mean, brother's been through a lot of shit historically, man.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Brothers and female brothers too. The sisters. They've been through
- 52:36Speaker 1: some shit, man. Get a history book, dog. So they
- 52:41Speaker 1: ain't worried if somebody can't handle a little pollen or something.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Somebody sneezed. That ain't. They're worried somebody goes into prison.
- 52:49Speaker 1: You know, that's when they drop some bless you's on them.
- 52:53Speaker 1: They worried they can't get the pain out of the culture.
- 52:56Speaker 1: That's when they'll yell a bless you. They save some
- 53:01Speaker 1: of their bless you's for Sunday as well. But it's
- 53:05Speaker 1: white folk. You know, we somebody sneeze. Bless you, Ernie.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Bless you. Bless you, Nathan. That's good. You know, black folk,
- 53:19Speaker 1: just because somebody can't handle sitting near a tulip or
- 53:22Speaker 1: something or somebody get a little activated, their lungs flare
- 53:25Speaker 1: up around a fern, that ain't. That's a little bit
- 53:30Speaker 1: more white trauma than it is a black trauma, I think,
- 53:33Speaker 1: you know? Some white dudes like, oh, them azaleas, I
- 53:37Speaker 1: can't breathe. Like you the floral George Floyd or something, man.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Get your shit together, man. Get your, and don't bother
- 53:45Speaker 1: a brother to say bless you because your white ass
- 53:49Speaker 1: having trouble with some dandelion dander. Okay, get it together.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Your soft ass can't breathe for half a second. You
- 53:58Speaker 1: want God to help you. God, come on, man. Come on, man.
- 54:04Speaker 1: So I think that's just look, man, that's a cultural thing.
- 54:08Speaker 1: And I think you got to let that lie where
- 54:11Speaker 1: it lies, baby. That's what I believe. Praise God, man.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Thank you for the call, though. Thank you for letting
- 54:16Speaker 1: me think out loud with you. Is pornography causing a
- 54:20Speaker 1: problem in your life? Do you find yourself watching porno
- 54:24Speaker 1: for longer periods of time and having trouble stopping? Is
- 54:29Speaker 1: porn affecting your relationship or dating life? Well, you're certainly
- 54:34Speaker 1: not alone. Watching pornography has become so commonplace today, and
- 54:39Speaker 1: oftentimes men use porn to numb the pain of loneliness, boredom, anxiety,
- 54:45Speaker 1: and depression. Shame and stigma prevent men from talking about
- 54:49Speaker 1: these issues and getting help for them. I want to
- 54:53Speaker 1: introduce you to my friend, Steve. Steve is the founder
- 54:56Speaker 1: of Valor Recovery, a program to help men overcome porn
- 54:59Speaker 1: abuse and sexual compulsivity. Steve is a long-term sexual recovery
- 55:04Speaker 1: member and has personally overcame the emotional and spiritual despair
- 55:08Speaker 1: of abusing pornography and has dedicated his life to empowering
- 55:12Speaker 1: men to do the same. Steve is an amazing person
- 55:17Speaker 1: and he is a close friend of mine. I mean that.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Valor Recovery helps men to develop the tools necessary to
- 55:24Speaker 1: have a healthier sex life. Their coaches are in long-term
- 55:27Speaker 1: recovery and will be your partner, mentor, and spiritual guide
- 55:32Speaker 1: to transcend these problematic behaviors. To learn more about Valor Recovery,
- 55:37Speaker 1: please visit them at www.valorrecoverycoaching.com or email them at admin
- 55:48Speaker 1: at valorrecoverycoaching Thank you. You know, I do want to
- 55:55Speaker 1: say though, it's at, you know, it is a time
- 55:56Speaker 1: of year where we can try to do more for others.
- 55:58Speaker 1: That's one of my things I was thinking about yesterday.
- 56:00Speaker 1: I was like, how can I make next year? Uh,
- 56:04Speaker 1: how can I do more? You know, and we all
- 56:07Speaker 1: want to, right. We all want time. I hear that
- 56:09Speaker 1: so many times from people like, Hey, how can I
- 56:11Speaker 1: be a part of this? How can I do, you know?
- 56:14Speaker 1: And so, yeah, I've been thinking about that a lot
- 56:15Speaker 1: and I'm going to, um, I want to figure that out,
- 56:20Speaker 1: you know, Just ways to, we all want to find
- 56:23Speaker 1: ways to give back, to help our neighbor, you know.
- 56:29Speaker 1: And this is the time of year for that to
- 56:30Speaker 1: be on our hearts, I think. Or I don't know,
- 56:32Speaker 1: I'm not trying to preach at you. This is the
- 56:34Speaker 1: time of year where that's on my heart. You know,
- 56:37Speaker 1: how can I, yeah, how can I think about somebody else?
- 56:42Speaker 1: Because what a relief it is when you're trapped in
- 56:45Speaker 1: yourself to have a moment where you're thinking about somebody else.
- 56:48Speaker 1: You're like, oh, thank you, God. Letting me think about somebody.
- 56:52Speaker 3: Else, man.
- 56:55Speaker 1: What else? Let's take a couple more calls here on
- 56:57Speaker 1: the way out. Let me take this one right here.
- 57:03Speaker 7: Hey, Theo.
- 57:05Speaker 3: I love the show. I'm calling with an issue. I'm
- 57:10Speaker 3: 20 years old. I've been drinking every single day since
- 57:13Speaker 3: I've been 17.
- 57:14Speaker 8: There's been times where I stopped drinking for a week.
- 57:20Speaker 9: I always fall back into the same thing.
- 57:23Speaker 3: And I hate myself for it. Everything pulls me down.
- 57:26Speaker 3: I'm just wondering if you have any advice for me.
- 57:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I noticed myself, man. Thanks for calling, bro. I
- 57:35Speaker 1: noticed myself when I'm doing something I don't want to
- 57:39Speaker 1: be doing. When I'm doing something I don't want to
- 57:42Speaker 1: be doing. And then I've said to myself, hey, I
- 57:44Speaker 1: don't want to do this anymore. And then I keep
- 57:47Speaker 1: doing it. I can't help but do it.
- 57:49Speaker 3: Right?
- 57:50Speaker 1: That's addiction. You can't help it. You're doing it. Um,
- 57:54Speaker 1: which isn't you, that's not you making that choice all
- 57:56Speaker 1: the time. It is, it's addiction. It's a disease, right?
- 57:59Speaker 1: So just same as if somebody had cancer, you wouldn't
- 58:02Speaker 1: say to them every day, Oh damn, you have cancer again.
- 58:04Speaker 1: You keep choosing to have cancer. No, they have cancer.
- 58:09Speaker 1: It's the same with addiction. You are, you don't want
- 58:12Speaker 1: to do this. You are doing it right. You can't
- 58:16Speaker 1: stop that cycle. Um, And then, this is what I've
- 58:22Speaker 1: noticed for myself, then shame starts building up because now
- 58:25Speaker 1: not only am I addicted, now I am ashamed because
- 58:34Speaker 1: I keep breaking my own promise to myself. Right? Now
- 58:38Speaker 1: I'm losing my integrity. So now not only am I
- 58:42Speaker 1: dealing with addiction, but I'm also dealing with shame. And man,
- 58:47Speaker 1: when those two dogs get together... Good luck getting a
- 58:51Speaker 1: Frisbee through the yard, brother. Them some growlers, daddy. People
- 58:58Speaker 1: ask me a lot about addiction stuff. The only answer
- 59:01Speaker 1: I ever know that has helped me has been going
- 59:05Speaker 1: to recovery, going to Alcoholics Anonymous, starting there, going to
- 59:09Speaker 1: a meeting. Because the first thing they ask you in
- 59:13Speaker 1: there is that, my life, is your life unmanageable? That's
- 59:18Speaker 1: the question. Is your life unmanageable? Nothing has to be
- 59:25Speaker 1: about alcohol or anything. Is your life unmanageable? Because that's
- 59:30Speaker 1: a way where you get to choose for yourself. Nobody's
- 59:33Speaker 1: making a diagnosis of you being an alcoholic. You decide.
- 59:38Speaker 1: But it's like, is life unmanageable? And that's a very
- 59:41Speaker 1: fair question to anybody. And if the answer is yes,
- 59:48Speaker 1: then you take it from there and there. But I
- 59:51Speaker 1: would recommend go to 3AA meetings, some different ones. Listen
- 59:56Speaker 1: for the similarities and don't listen for the differences. because
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: it's easy to be like, ah, this shit, nah, nah.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: You hear one thing like, that ain't for me, you know? So, yeah, man,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I'm sorry that you're dealing with that. But that's really
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: the only, I don't have a magic button or a
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: magic solution, you know? And then once you're in there,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: you can maybe get some sponsorship or something. They can
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: help you decide if you should get treatment or that
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: sort of thing. Now, if you're drinking every day for
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: that long, you may need treatment to detoxify yourself. But,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Thinking of you, brother. And thank you for calling, man.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: I appreciate that. What else? Here we go. Let's hear it.
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: What up, Theo?
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Hi.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: Hey, I got a question for you. My name is
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: Jocelyn and I have a son here. He's 10 years
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: old with Down syndrome. Just any advice that you would
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: give to him personally would be much appreciated. And we
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: think you're great.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Keep doing what you're doing, bro.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Thank you. Thank you, Jocelyn. That was very sweet of
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: you to call. Happy Thanksgiving to you and to your
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: child right there. And I'd say to your child, I'd
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: say hang in there, young king. Okay? You little freckled
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: sparrow of the heavens, hang in there. Hold the line,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: baby boy. Because young DS lords like yourself are heroes
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: and you are beloved. You are God's thank you card.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: There's not any of us in existence that doesn't see
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: somebody with Don Senra and feel something, you know. You
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: make a candle just light up inside of everybody. Y'all
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: are the ones, y'all are the ones braving the genetic
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: nether realm to see what's on the other side. Y'all
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: are the Lewis and Clarks of DNA, okay? The Harriet
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Tubman of afflictions. That's y'all, young king. And every year
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: we're getting closer to winning this war. I'll say that
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: out loud. We will battle with Down syndrome until it's
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: all the way down. We will not relent. So keep
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: hugging your mom and keep being a bumblebee of hope
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: for all of us. And keep smiling because when you smile,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: when people with dance syndrome smile, we all smile somehow.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Because we all have that, just a, not a DS,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: but a D-O-S-E. Of it inside of us. And I
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: believe that. You know. And that's why we can relate.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: And I love you. And I love your mom. And
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: I wish y'all a happy Thanksgiving. And keep teaching the
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: rest of us how to love better. You know. Because
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I was right there in it. I was right there
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: in it. Just in the grips. And I was able
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: to just break my foot free as a child. And
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: I love you guys man baby. Praise God man.
- 1:03:23Speaker 10: Um.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: What else? Any other call that came in? Here's a
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: young lady that called. And here we go. One more call. Hey.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: I'm struggling. It's just hard going back and forth trying
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: to find a job with an addiction.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: It's really hard.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: I can't seem to put the alcohol down and it's
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: funny that I listen to your podcast because of how
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: you talk about coke and I've been struggling with putting
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: it down and I just get to the point where
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: I just I get so deep you can't get out
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: of it and I know that you know what I mean.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Man, it just shit breaks my heart kind of, you know?
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it's tough.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Yeah, just, I don't know what it makes me feel.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I mean, it just, I guess, yeah. I mean, it just, yeah.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I don't know, it makes me sad. Yeah, I guess
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: it makes me like, what does it make you feel like?
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: Well, I think it's, I think it's powerful that they
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: feel like they could reach out to you to talk
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: about it with someone who can relate. You know what
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: I'm saying?
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I think there's a part of it's like
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: you want to, you can just tell when somebody's hurting,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: you know? They better call her. Is that crazy you think, Trevin?
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: Do it.
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: I think it would make her day.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Let's just call her. Let's see. We can even ask
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: her if we, I don't care if we put this
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: on or not. We can just, let me see.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Hello?
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Hey, what's up?
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: Who is this?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: It's Theo.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: What's Theo?
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: Hello?
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Theo Vaughn, I got you. Did you call... I don't
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: know if this is the right person. Did you call our...
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: I just... I have like a voicemail thing. I just
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: didn't know if you called it the other day.
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: Is this really Theo Vaughn?
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it is. Who's this?
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: Holy shit. You actually listen to it?
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Yeah, sometimes it takes me a while, dude. It freaking
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: takes me a while, but we just happened to... start
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: lists just like, uh, we're, we, we've been listening for
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: the past couple of weeks to try and do like a, um,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: an episode to come out next week. And so, yeah,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: today I was listening to him and I just heard
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: your message and it just like, uh, yeah, you know,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I'll struggle with shit. So I just thought I would
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: just say what's up or, you know, I just had.
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: A wreck like two days.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Ago and, Oh, what happened?
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: I don't know how I didn't die. I was not
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: paying attention and I got, I like rear-ended them, but
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: I was flying and I shouldn't have. And it totaled
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: the fuck out of my car. I don't know how
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: I died. I just came out with a small concussion
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: and nobody else was hurt.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: And did you have insurance?
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Oh, that's good.
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: It's getting taken care of, but it's just been a
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: shitty week. I got cheated on too, so. I can't
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: believe you actually listened to my voicemail.
- 1:06:56Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Well, it just shook me, you know? I mean, it
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: just made me, you know, it seemed like you're going
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: through a tough time, and I've been there for sure.
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: I'm going on 19 hours.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Of no drinking?
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: It's over right now.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Let's go. That's awesome. Dude, 19 hours is big.
- 1:07:14Speaker 8: I know.
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: It's a lot for me.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it is. I'm happy for you. That's awesome.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: What do you think, uh, So what time of day
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: or what kind of happens that you start to, you
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: feel like you start to fall apart a little bit
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: or make you drink?
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: Well, it was really the start of my job. I
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: started a job last year. We ended up having to work, like,
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: it was a mandatory seven days a week. And it's
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: been like that the whole time I started. And I finally,
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: they fired me in October. And that's when shit really
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: started to fall apart. I started showing up drinking on
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: the job and stuff. It was just getting really rough.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Yeah, so you're just drinking to get by, huh?
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: I went through a couple of relationships. I tried to
- 1:08:01Speaker 7: make relationships and just got shit on. It's been a
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: rough year, really.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: Dang.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: And you got family over there or no?
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: Yeah, I live with my mom and my dad.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Oh, nice. Do you have any children?
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:08:17Speaker 9: I'm 24.
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: I'm still living a little bit of life. I'm trying to.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Oh, well, look, I think you got some blessings right there.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: So you don't have a responsibility outside of yourself you
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: got to take care of. That's nice, you know? Yeah.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I mean, except for your folks, you know?
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Do you ever go to AA meetings or anything?
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: No, I've never thought about it. I got put on
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: medication a while back, but I got off of it,
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: and I think that kind of made it worse because
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: it's like cold turkey.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, that can be tricky.
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: But I felt like the medicine was just making me
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: more depressed, but it could be from the drinking too,
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: while drinking on it. I've never had, like, talked to
- 1:08:58Speaker 7: a therapist or anybody about it.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: What do you feel? I mean, do you feel like
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: you drank too much? You just feel like you feel bad?
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I mean, or do you just feel like maybe you
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: just had a tough couple days? No judgment either. I'm
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: not judging you.
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:09:14Speaker 9: I just.
- 1:09:17Speaker 7: I've been through, I know there's people out there that
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: go through worse things, but I was in a relationship
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: for a few years before I moved back in with
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: my parents, and it was abusive. I was pregnant, and
- 1:09:32Speaker 7: I lost my baby, and I think that's where it
- 1:09:35Speaker 7: all started. It was just really hard.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I bet that's tough, huh? You probably just, I
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: don't know, what did it What did you start feeling,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: you think?
- 1:09:50Speaker 7: I just felt like I couldn't do nothing or kill
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: it anymore. I think that's where it all started to
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: fall apart for me. And I kept trying to get
- 1:09:59Speaker 7: back up and it just kept bringing me back down.
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: And then I just picked up alcohol. And it's funny
- 1:10:04Speaker 7: because I used to never want to drink, not even
- 1:10:06Speaker 7: when I turned 21.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:11Speaker 7: It's just a lot of baggage, I feel like. Oh, yeah.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Oh, if I feel like I just can't do good anymore,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: that's a horrible feeling.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: I'm sorry that you've been dealing with all that.
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: I'm trying to get back up on my feet, get
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: another job. I think that not working and stuff like
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: that is really, you're just sitting at home thinking in
- 1:10:36Speaker 7: your head all the time. I have one friend, and
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: I love her to death. She always tries to help me,
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: but I'm kind of a hard head and I don't
- 1:10:44Speaker 7: listen to her.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. We can't. Yeah, it's hard.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Don't try to help me. Well, dang.
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: I wish there was some way that I could help out.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: You know, I wish there was something I could do
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: to be supportive. Yeah. I mean, do they have therapists
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: in your town? Do you think even going to somebody
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: like that would help? I'm just trying to think of
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: something that might help you get a better, you know,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: or do you need to get a new job? Do
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: you think you could even work right now? What do
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: you think's going on?
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: I don't.
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: I don't even I don't know how to start. I
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: don't know if I've always been around people that tell
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: me therapy doesn't work and you don't need to go
- 1:11:24Speaker 7: to pay somebody to tell them about your problems because
- 1:11:26Speaker 7: they don't care. You know, stuff like that. So I
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: guess I kind of just stuck that in my head,
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: but I didn't need to go talk to people about it.
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: I guess. Yeah. I kind of just hold it in
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: until I explode.
- 1:11:37Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I just don't know if that's good or not.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I don't know if it's good for anything to hold
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: anything in that long, you know?
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: No, it's not. But I've always grew up where you
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: don't talk about your emotions that much.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, dude. Oh, God. If you felt something in
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: my neighborhood, somebody would call you a dang fuck, to
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: be honest with you, you know?
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: And no offense. I didn't say that. I think it's a.
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: No, that is exactly how it is, Danny.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: But, Danny, I feel you there. Well, how about this?
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Maybe I'll just, is it, I'll check back in with
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: you in like a week or something to see how
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: things are going.
- 1:12:18Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:12:18Speaker 7: That, it really helped me calling. You actually heard me.
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: It just felt, made me feel better.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, I know what that's, yeah, I can relate
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: to that, man, for sure.
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: Sometimes you just need somebody to listen.
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true, man. I feel that. I feel that. Yeah,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I feel that. I definitely feel that.
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: It feels good to get it out, but some people
- 1:12:54Speaker 7: just don't want to hear about your problems. They're always like, well,
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: I'm dealing with this, I'm dealing with that. Everybody's dealing
- 1:13:01Speaker 7: with shit. But sometimes you just need somebody to hear
- 1:13:04Speaker 7: you out and not make you feel crazy for it.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: And you're right. Sometimes we just want somebody to listen.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: You know, we just want something to be, you know,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: we just want a place to put something. There's obviously
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: different things you could go do to try to get
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: help for yourself, you know, or if you wanted to.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: You have insurance or no?
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I do.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: Okay, cool. So you could, if you wanted to try therapy,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: then you could try it at least. You know, I
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: know it takes time to like try and figure that out,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: but that is a thing. And then, yeah, but yeah.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: How about this? I'll just, yeah, I just want to just,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: I'll check back in like in a week or something
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: and just see how you're doing. Is that okay if
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I check back in?
- 1:13:42Speaker 7: Yeah, that's fine.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Okay, cool. All right, well, have a good time over there.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: What y'all going to do for Thanksgiving?
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: Shit, I don't know.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: What are your parents doing?
- 1:13:56Speaker 7: They're cooking some food. I'm not on good terms with
- 1:14:01Speaker 7: my brother right now, so it's going to be kind
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: of awkward sometimes.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I wish I could figure that out before he gets
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: over there.
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: Everybody tells me to apologize. I need to stop holding
- 1:14:11Speaker 7: the garage. I know I do. I'm working on it.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel you. Sometimes that stuff's hard. It's hard. Maybe,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: I don't know. I feel you. I struggle with that.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: I got the same issues with some of my family.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: It's tough. Family's tough. But yeah, if I can't swallow
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: my pride for my family, at least do it for myself,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: for others, you know, because it don't have to be
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: about me on Thanksgiving. That's what I started thinking the
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: other day.
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: You know, I don't deserve to ruin other people's day
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: just because I have feelings a certain way, you know.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: I should be able to figure that out. I'm not
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: telling you that. I'm just saying that to me, really.
- 1:14:54Speaker 7: Gotta be humble and grateful.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Well, I just, I should be able to approach somebody
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: in my family at the end of the day, say
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: over the last minute on earth. what do I want
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: that family member to think? I want them to think, oh,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: I was holding something against them, you know, that I
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: couldn't figure out, you know, like, no, I would want
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: my family member to think that I love them, you know?
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: And so I got to figure that out, even if
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: it's for short-term basis, you know, because I don't know.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: I just don't want, yeah, I don't want to be
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: always a part of the problem, you know? Yeah. But,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: all right, well, I got to finish up because I'm
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: about to go watch some football.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: What's your first name? Well, I appreciate you calling, and
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: I just hope you hang in there. And, yeah, just
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: don't feel alone, you know, because that isn't true.
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:15:49Speaker 7: I know I have family that supports me.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Yeah, and you just have people that are like you.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: I think sometimes you just have to go find. You
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: have to. It's hard sometimes. We got to find them,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:01Speaker 7: So.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: But anyway, I hope I'm not trying, I don't sound
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: like I'm trying to preach at you.
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: Do I?
- 1:16:07Speaker 7: No, no, I needed this actually. I needed to talk
- 1:16:10Speaker 7: to somebody about it.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Anything else you're feeling?
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: No, I'm just going to drink a bunch of water
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: and keep going.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: There you go. Stay hydrated, baby. That's what you can do.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: All right, Emily, happy Thanksgiving.
- 1:16:27Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: Happy Thanksgiving.
- 1:16:29Speaker 7: You have a good one.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: Okay, you too. Take care. Wow. Sweet girl. Yeah, man.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: It just, that's wild. That's so fun to you. This
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: is saying things I'm dealing. I got some family, just
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: like it's tough, but then what do I want to do?
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: I want to go. I want to bring all this
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: shit or tell my family members like, well, I don't
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: want to be there if they're there. And then I'm
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: just making a storm. And the truth is there's a
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: part of me inside of me that, that wants to
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: be around my family. It wants everything to be okay,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: you know? But there's another part of me that wants
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: to have things my way. That's really what it is
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: for me. Even if the other person wronged me or
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: I don't like their energy or whatever, I can't figure
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: this shit out for two hours. You know? And then
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: what's my part in it? I'm a saint?
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: No.
- 1:17:25Speaker 7: No.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Sometimes I'm a St. Bernard with a couple of face tattoos, baby.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: I'm fucking Jelly Wolf, you feel me? So don't make
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: me pop the trunk. Oh, this is my brother. Let
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: me see if I can get him to say a
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: couple of things he's thankful for. Big Z.
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: What's up, bro?
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Not much. I'm recording my podcast right now, brother. How
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: are you?
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: Good, good. Just checking in on you, bro, and seeing.
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: Checking in on you after the other day.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, I appreciate it, man. Yeah, I was just
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: talking to some girl. She, like, called her hotline. She'd
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: been having a tough time.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Yeah, she just, yeah, she was having a tough time,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: so I just gave her, I just called over there
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: and was talking to her for a little while.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: Oh, from the show?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: Oh, nice. Yeah, so you got the, you've been doing
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: the hotline more now? Someone said that to me the
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: other day.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I'm trying to. Sometimes it's hard for me to feel comfortable.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: It's like I don't like to do it when I
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: don't or do solo. You know, sometimes I do my
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: podcast just by myself.
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like to do it if I don't
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: feel comfortable. You know, like if I feel agitated or
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: something or I'm stressed out.
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: Yeah, well, that's fine. That makes sense to me. Yeah.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Because it just feels like I can't be. I
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: don't feel like myself. you know, I just feel like
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: I'm just going through the emotions or whatever, you know.
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: Yeah, you kind of caught up in other stuff. Yeah.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: But it was just, yeah. But some girls called, she'd
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: just been struggling.
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: Oh, nice. That's pretty crazy. You kind of did a
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: little 12-step work on your podcast. Yeah.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Yeah, just to listen to what she was talking about.
- 1:19:12Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: She reminded me of just, it's funny because we both
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: had some of the same things, which was like being
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: around family during the holiday, just stuff like that too
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: we ended up talking about.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. I need to call that hotline, man. I
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: always forget about that. You think I can call in sometime?
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Yeah, dude. Well, actually, you can help us right now.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: We're finishing that. If you have a couple things you're
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: thankful for, we're just going to think of a couple
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: of them on the way out of the episode if
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: you got a couple.
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: Oh man what am I thankful for.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Oh that's such a big question I know it is.
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: I guess I mean I'm definitely thankful for you know
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: my family um you know you and everyone else in
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: our family for sure I'm really thankful for my friends
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: and the friendships that I've been developing um uh I
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: mean I'm thankful for um potential you know just like
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: being able to just to get up in the morning
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: and you know go for another day i'm thankful for
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: i'm really thankful for the time i get to be
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: a parent you.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Know um oh yeah that's a good.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: One yeah i love parenting i love raising my children
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: um uh.
- 1:20:37Speaker 7: What does that here?
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I used to have this hypothetical. It's a little
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: bit derogatory, but I can tell you if you want.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Yeah, all right.
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: All right, so if you're on an island and you
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: can't masturbate, right? You can't. Okay. That's the example. You
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: have no arms. You can't do it.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Okay. You have legs, though?
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, yeah, but if you can use them to masturbate,
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: then no, because you can't masturbate in this example.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Okay, I see. So no matter what.
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: There's no.
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: Way you can do it. There's no way you can
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: do it with one leg. You have one leg and
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: no arms.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: Oh, got me.
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: And you're just laying naked on the beach on this
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: deserted island, right?
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: But you have a strong libido. Okay. And you're a
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: heterosexual male, like you. I mean, like you probably are.
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: I don't know for certain, but you probably are a
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: heterosexual male. So you're a heterosexual male. Yeah.
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: And.
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: You have a strong libido, you can't, and then all
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: of a sudden, there's another man on the island. Oh.
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: So here's the question. Do you eventually have sex with
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: this man?
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: No, I don't think you do.
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: Now, for me, it's a hell yeah.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: God.
- 1:21:47Speaker 9: I mean.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: I don't mean like a... Well, yeah, think about it. Which,
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: if you can't, if you can't masturbate, you can't have sex.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: But do y'all date for a long time first, or
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: is there any, or how does it even.
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: No, one day you're out there just laying on the
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: beach because you can't walk. You only have one leg.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: You can get up and hop over there.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: Well, you could knee over. You could knee over. You
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: could hobble over. And then from the distance, here comes
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: this man walking, and he's got two legs.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Big spender, huh?
- 1:22:17Speaker 7: Big spender.
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: He's got a shirt. He's got a shirt, but you
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: can see his chest and... You guys just strike it up.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: What are you talking about, dude?
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: Just listen, dude.
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: It's the example.
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: You make a little bonfire together. You roast weenies. You
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: have a little weenie roast.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Wait, hold on. How come you can't even walk, but
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: suddenly you're a damn Weeblow Scout, dude?
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: No, bro. Look, he carries you over to the fire
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: and lays you down.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Oh, God.
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: Breasts up. Breasts up. Breasts up. Lays you down. And then,
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: so I'm just saying, eventually, eventually, you'd have sex even
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: though you're not, even though you're a heterosexual male.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: All right. All right, man, I'm gonna give you a
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: buzz back, all right?
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: That's what I'm thankful for. All right, bro, I love you.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: All right, love you too, man.
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: It's got me thinking too, man. You're like, you'd have
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: to go on dates with the guy. You know what
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: I'm saying? You're like, And you'd have to know people
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: aren't coming to get you. You can't just, you know
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Trevin?
- 1:23:26Speaker 6: You'd be having sex with the guy and then you
- 1:23:28Speaker 6: hear a helicopter over the top.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, totally. Yeah, you can't be, if you just
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: are stuck on an island for two days and you
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: hook up with a dude, then you're just a gay guy.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: Which is fine, but don't be like, oh, the island
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Just an island boy, dang, bro, and that's why our
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: family has trouble during the holidays, I'll tell you that, man,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: that is why they do, um, blessings to everybody out there, man,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: thank you guys for being a part of my life,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: thank you for letting me be a part of your life, um,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: thank you for just this year, it's been crazy, man,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: the past couple weeks were really crazy, like, uh, Yeah,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: I kind of was like losing my mind. I went
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: on Joe Rogan's show and I was just having a
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: tough time on that. I just was like– I think
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: I got real scared like after like the election and
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: people making– like they're like podcasts swayed the election. And
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: I don't believe any of that. I believe people do
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: what they want to do. And then they make out
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: to be this big right-wing– people emailing me about fascism
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: or whatever. And just a lot– just like– Um, yeah,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: just cause I voted for my buddy. Bobby Kennedy's my friend.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: That is my friend. I know, but I, I, in fact, uh, he's,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: he's a good, he's a, just a, he's somebody I trust.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: He's my friend, right? I'll vote for my friend. You
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: think my friend is going to run for fricking president
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: of the United States and I'm not going to vote
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: for him, dude, or for, uh, you know, minister of
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: health or whatever, or whatever it is called. It's called, um,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: Deadpool seven or whatever he's called now, whatever, you know, uh,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: the CVS warlord, or I'm not even sure what they're
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: calling him now. Um, but yeah, I'm going to vote
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: for my friend and I don't really care what anybody
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: thinks about that. I don't think, um, and I wouldn't
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: think it's weird if you vote for your friend. I
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: don't give a fuck who anybody votes for, but yeah,
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: But I don't know. Yeah, I think just a lot
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: of stuff kind of freaked me out in the past
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: couple weeks, and I've just been feeling overwhelmed. And yeah,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: and then we all go through shit, and then the
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: year's going fast, and whatever. I'm not making a pity party.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: I'm just happy to take a breath, man. I'm just
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: happy to take a breath. Happy to be alive. And
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: maybe I do feel like I have to explain myself.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I'm just.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm doing. Okay. So you won't
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: come to my house or office. I don't even have
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: an office, but you won't come to whatever and see
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: like a board, like a, you know, chalkboard or whatever
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: with arrows on it or whatever, or like, you know,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: it says, you know, secrets or, you know, just like,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: so anyway, I don't even know what I'm talking about.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: Who cares, man? I've talked enough. I've wasted enough of
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: your time today. As always, the hotline is 985-664-9503. And yeah,
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: the holidays, man. You got to think they're coming up.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: Let me try this one. Nah, that's Jesus Christ. I'm
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: going to beat somebody's ass outside of a bed, bath,
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: and beyond if I have to hear that. Let's try this.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: okay it's close it's a bit much that's my brother
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: i can't listen to that anymore he's trying to get
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: me to go on a cruise i bet uh there
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: we go a little too slow Oh, yeah. That's taking
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: a bath by yourself, dude. That's when it gets really crazy.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: If you're young and you jerk off to that, dude,
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: you obviously wear like a nice jacket when you do it,
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: .
- 1:27:57Speaker 9: .
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: Just remind everybody, be good to yourselves, man. Be good
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: to others. Let's do it. We'll just keep doing what
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: we can do. Excited about the end of the year
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: we have coming up. We will take a week off
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: at some point for no episode. And yeah, that's all
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: that's going on. And happy Thanksgiving to you, Trevin. You too, brother. Yeah,
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: thank you for being here, Riley Mad. Ben Becker, all
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: of the producers that have helped. Zach Powers, Colin Reiner,
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: Nick Davis, Cameron George. We got a whole gaggle of
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: guys and people who have over the years. Happy Thanksgiving
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: to you guys, and thank you guys for being a
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: part of my life and the support. And you guys
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: be good to yourselves, baby.
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: Gang.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: Help me find who my baby will be tonight.
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: It's all I need. Somebody that I'll only find.
