- 0:51[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we don't want people to get the wrong idea.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sitting across from you.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: You know what he can see on a 45 degree angle.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_02]: And nobody can see.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_02]: That doesn't matter.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_02]: They can tell by the voices.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, right.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: You can tell voices.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: OK.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, this is Annavari.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I am the co-host of this show.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: And co-host of another show we have on the rise network that we're hoping to bring back at some point.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's called, can I call you dad?
- 1:12[SPEAKER_02]: with my son Andrew, and we have some fun stuff on there, and hopefully we'll be starting at the third season at some point.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we'll see, it might come back, it might not.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, we're here with cheesy popcorn, which is much more important to do, because people want to know what we think about movies.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: They do.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: You have this written down, like did somebody send you an email or something?
- 1:37[SPEAKER_02]: I get fan mail.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what you.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: Where can they email you for fan mail?
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: So they know where to set it.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_02]: So, everybody's do not give out their personal email.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a personal email.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's a fan email.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, everybody's going to call I check in their other names.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: Celebrities give out fan email, like emails.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_02]: I get fan mail.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: Most of the time, it's, you know, I don't know.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if you don't get fan mail all the time.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: I get fan mail, and I appreciate.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_02]: I write back every single one.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's because you're sitting in front of a fan.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: That's why you get fan mail anyway.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, that's how many have gotten one.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_02]: Single.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: One, one.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: Well, folks, by now, I'm sure you probably know what the podcast is all about.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not going to blow up.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to blow up.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to blow up four episodes in.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: How many?
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: 43 episodes in.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: this Lexia works for you very well okay anyway so last week we talked about going to see minions and monsters and we talked about that I was going to review and Noah Holmes 3 you know sometimes if you just wait and let me finish my sentence instead of interrupting me we'll actually get to the point.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: If I did that, people wouldn't listen to the podcast.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: You think that's what it is.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: They just listen to the music.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_02]: They listen to my fun banter.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's why people listen.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: The one fan tells you that, right?
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: You're number one fan.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: You're number one fan.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: And the one fan.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm looking at the man in the mirror.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: Michael.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: We reviewed that already by the way.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: We did.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: We want to check out the episode that that was in was actually episode 35.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: I knew that.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you didn't.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: So what's coming out this weekend?
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's another one of those weekends, where there's only a couple of films coming out Only only two did I saw Moana, Moana live action the live action version of the rock which the rock is in and When I first saw the preview I don't know if we were together watching a movie or whatever one I first saw the preview as soon as it came out I was like if the rock's not in this that's the dumbest move Disney can ever make
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: And of course he is.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, of course he is.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_02]: And I saw the young girl that plays Moana on Good Morning America.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: And apparently she auditioned against at least one or two of her own sisters.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: So imagine what dinner that night was when she got chosen.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: or what dinner since then or since then yes although everybody was cool with it and they all cheered for each other but no you know civily rival we is civily rival sometimes with sisters oh it's not as bad as you think sometimes they're oh no no I think she said they were cool with it and everything so so that's one selection for the weekend and then also evil dead burn
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: which is a return to the franchise.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm wondering if it's going to be anything like any of the other ones and I'm wondering if our favorite person or favorite Mr. Campbell is going to be in the movie at all or anything like that.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_02]: I saw a preview and you know I'm not into slasher where everybody's fingers are being cut off and stuff and I'm this is not my kind of movie and now on the other hand Moana live
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: When I saw the preview for that one, too, and my first inclination.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: That hand is at regular, the fingers are attached so they're not attached.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_02]: They were attached and then they come off.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure why they made a Moana life because the Moana animated was wonderful because they've done that with every single one of those princess movies And that's just what they're gonna do.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's the formula that they're doing.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'm not that much older than the rock But I mean really tired of seeing him and his amazing body Then I have to go look in the mirror So I'm like, you know
- 5:31[SPEAKER_02]: The rock is weird, we're not too far for an age I'm older, but I think we're not too far apart and I could do without seeing that body on the screen for two hours.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: I believe that's going to be part of the reason why if we're going to go see this movie.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think, well that's good, that's good if they want to go see it, I'm used to have that body at one time.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I had that body.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_02]: I had that, I had the rock body.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: One day?
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: No, I had it for four years, over four years.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: More than four years.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, I had till I was 29.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: As the kid say, no picks, no, no proof.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: I have picks.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: OK. Well, I have picks.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: You can find them on only fence.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_02]: I have picks, folks.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_02]: I had great picks.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: I was, I was buff, as they say.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so let's cut to the chase.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: You want to go see Moana, don't you?
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're going to go see you with that burn?
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're going to see something else.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to do what you do.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_02]: What do I want to say to him and watch something in my underwear?
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, what are you watching?
- 6:33[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's no help.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: How are we supposed to, how is anyone supposed to, well, how does this help lead anyone to want to see the next interview surprise?
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: Well, how about we do this instead?
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: Since, since we're going to make a shift anyways, and we're going to start talking about TV shows.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's a shift.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: I said shift, clean out the shift in their ears.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: Why don't we make a transition to TV shows?
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: And we can review one of our favorite TV shows of all time.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we're going to talk about TV shows in the next episode.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_02]: Right, we're going to talk about that.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: But we can also.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: But unless there's a new show that you've been watching, which I have a new show that I've been watching, that I will make a review of, yes, I do.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: OK. Yeah, good for you.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: Of course.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have a TV show that you'd like to...
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: I, a new one.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_02]: A series that I've been watching.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_01]: A new one?
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's new.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: OK, what is it called?
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's new.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's not black and white.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's new.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's called, it's not black and white.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's brand new.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_02]: What's it called?
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's called the chosen.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: So I could review the chosen season six is about to hit.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_02]: I got out of the way through season five.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea how it's gonna end.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_02]: So it's gonna be a big surprise at the end.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_02]: They're leading up to something but I'm not sure what it is.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm waiting to be surprised.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty sure you know exactly what it is if you've read the Bible.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_02]: So it was a nice dinner at one point in season five.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: And they kind of alluded to what might be coming, but I don't know.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: Is there praying in the garden?
- 8:04[SPEAKER_02]: One guy was praying in the garden, and the rest were sleeping.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_02]: Now one of them, one of them, he'll know your Bible.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: One of them was lying.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_02]: Well, no, he wasn't there.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: He wasn't at the garden.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he was a human.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_02]: He was a human.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: He approached.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: He wasn't in the garden.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: Approach the garden.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: Eleven.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: Eleven apostles in the garden with Jesus.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_02]: Eleven.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: Not twelve.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: I believe he was the only one that went to the garden.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_02]: But we don't know that.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: But I want to be able to know there's a being done.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: I believe he was the only one that went to the garden to pray.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he prayed with the opposed.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_02]: They were all in the garden.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: He went to a secluded area in the garden.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_02]: They were all in the garden.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_02]: So your review of the children.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_02]: We talked with him a ways.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_02]: And the rest stayed back.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: So you're gonna review the chosen and I'm gonna review the chosen.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna review a TV show called euphoria.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: Euphoria.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_02]: I started watching that season three.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_02]: You can't wait.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_02]: Just ended.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_02]: Did it?
- 8:56[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't have to watch it.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: We'll talk all about it next week.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_02]: So that's how we're gonna do folks on Netflix, right?
- 9:01[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: Euphoria is on HBO Max.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have HBO.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know how you know that.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how you're watching it.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, I just started watching it.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want episode.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: Why did I see an episode?
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: One episode.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_02]: I saw an episode.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: Well, didn't hit me.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, okay.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_02]: So there we go.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to switch over to TV shows for next week.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: So make sure you tune in for that, of course.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: And then since we're talking about it, next week's episode is going to be our favorite top five TV shows of all time.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_02]: I have more to fight.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: They can be black and white too.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_02]: I have more to fight.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_02]: Then you got to limit it to five.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_02]: I broke my an out to categories.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_02]: Nope.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_02]: Nope because the category.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_02]: You can say whatever you want.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to say whatever I want.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know what as the director of the podcast network here at that rise network.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say no.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: You pick five shows your greatest shows of all time.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter what the category is because here's the thing.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to go through TV shows like we did the movies with the categories.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll talk about
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about Western, so pick five.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_02]: That's all you have to do, I didn't do it that way.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_02]: I broke it up into Jussick, pig mother, you're five of all time.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: Variety, those of you can get a five of all time.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I want.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: I can do five of all time, but I also have a breakout.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: Make sure you hold on to those notes so that you don't make sense for what you try to write.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_02]: There is something you can just not pay me for that week.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's that, Sam.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: No more pes for you.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_02]: All right, I'm Dominion.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, sure.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_02]: Miriams and monsters.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, we're going to be talking about words of visual effects later on in the show as well.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: But, yeah, go ahead.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: Minions and monsters go ahead.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'm curious to see where you're going to go with this.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if you're going to make any D&D references.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm good.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_02]: D&D.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: Dumb and Dumber.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_01]: Minions and monsters.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: Dungage and dragons?
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: No, not at all.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was fun.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of fun.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: Really fun movie.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_02]: To me, there were too many
- 10:51[SPEAKER_02]: plot lines plot there goes and a lot of directions like you can understand the main characters to begin with and it's going in eight different directions as kind of hard to follow the I mean it's it's colorful.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's it's funny that
- 11:10[SPEAKER_02]: I have a problem with, and I've always had a problem with this.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: When they do movies like this that are geared to a young audience, but are written for an older audience, because they're the first 30 minutes.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_02]: Our all references to Casablanca and Humphrey Bogart, and a bunch of old stuff.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: Boyle or learn by the way?
- 11:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, if you don't, but if you, like my grandson and my granddaughter went, and they had no clue.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_02]: what they were talking about.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_02]: I said did the same thing in Aladdin, with Robin Williams.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_02]: All the characters that he kept flying into, that he was improvising, they said, and they kept drawing these characters form and coming up with Groucho Marx, and you know, the movie was geared to little kids who don't have a clue who Groucho Marx says.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_02]: So, my advice to this Pixar is Pixar as a Disney, this one, this Pixar.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_02]: right minions and monsters it's fixer right no what is it's probably dream work maybe i don't know you saw the movie or it is that's not doing that and it put no movie for little kids make it for little kids if you want to have sub references sub reference bunchbabs pop sub reference you know people that they know things they know universal pictures distributed okay so but it's not a Pixar it's not a Pixar didn't mean Pixar's Disney okay so
- 12:32[SPEAKER_02]: Well, whoever did it, stop doing it.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_02]: Disney, the worst of it, by the way.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_02]: Disney, they constantly doing that.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: But they all do it because they have to keep the adults entertained as well.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: No, they don't.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, not do.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: Idea of it.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's the point.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, no.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_02]: The movie's for kids.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_02]: Keep it for kids.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's all I'm saying.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, what this movie really made me do?
- 12:57[SPEAKER_02]: And this may sound weird.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_02]: I miss grew.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'm missing the minions and not grew.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_01]: No, you talk about men a lot during the shows and the movies that we review.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not opposed.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: I know why you missed a grew.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I don't know, it's just seem weird to see the minions roll out of them.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, on top of the fact that they broke the minions up into two groups, which was a little weird too.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: And so that's why they were all these subplots going on.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_02]: And then you don't have grew.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: And
- 13:30[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_02]: It was a fun movie to watch, especially with my grandkids there.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_02]: But even my granddaughter didn't really like it.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_02]: She liked the minions, especially like this one that much.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_02]: My grandson liked it.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_02]: And in fact, we can get a kids view review from him.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to text him and have him call in and give us his review.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: He's been working on it all day.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: So in the minions franchise, and the despicable me franchise, there are seven feature films.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: Four main despicable me films and two minions prequels, and then now this one.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: So there's three minions movies.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: So you're telling me that you understood the minions and the other two movies as well, too.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_02]: No, I never said what this one this one you understand a little bit more and some of the what they're saying is Spanish So I can understand that Is it really Spanish?
- 14:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh wow, that's some of it is some of it is some of it's Spanish Some of it's a little French it's kind of a mix.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder I wonder if they just took all the love languages and tried to feature them
- 14:31[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe, I mean, you understand it because some of it is a weird language mixed with a visual reference so that you can understand it.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: So you don't lose it, lose it.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: But they're not understanding.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's choral.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: So, I...
- 14:57[SPEAKER_02]: That was my thing.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's my review.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_02]: I kept my review kind of short because I know my grandson wants to call in.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_02]: And so I just text him to call in.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_02]: So while we're waiting for him to call in, perhaps you could elaborate.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I just want to know one thing.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: You said that the movie was colorful.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's an animated feature.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_01]: Why would it not be colorful?
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: Or what did you be by colorful?
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: Colorful in the not the
- 15:23[SPEAKER_02]: actual it had a lot of colors obviously they're yellow colorful in that the movie had so it was fun, you know color fun colorful but not not over okay here I'll give it a six I was gonna say because that was the next thing I was gonna ask you so what was your rating because you never give it a six now
- 15:50[SPEAKER_02]: Despicable me those with the minions and crew.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: I could watch those over and over again.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: What would you rate those movies?
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'd rate those 8.5 nine.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I would Now curious to see what my grandson Tinos, but you didn't you didn't catch any Dungeons and Dragons references at all in this movie
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: I don't work, but I don't really care.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a much of a geek into Dungeons and Dragons.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: I've never been that much of a Dungeons.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: I like movies about dragons and Dungeons, but I don't care for Dungeons and Dragons as a thematic thing.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: Dungeons and Dragons fans, please do not write us hate mail about the fact that he called this geek's anyway.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: I've been a geek once in a while.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm mostly a cool guy.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: But there are times when I've been considered, I've been in the geekdom.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_02]: I've geeked them friends.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: Geekdom friends?
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: Is that because they're geeks in their dumb?
- 16:46[SPEAKER_02]: No, they're king them of geek, yeah, goof.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh, oh.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_02]: So geeky goofs.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, listen, right now the world is being run by the people that everyone knows.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, OK, OK, OK. We don't need to go political right now.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not not not saying it in a bad way.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of really great stuff going on.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_02]: The guys that everybody made fun of other guys that are, you know, doing all the, a lot of the really cool stuff right now, not all cool, but a lot of it is cool and a lot of it is for, for good, the good of humanity.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm off for that.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_02]: All right, go on with your whatever to the heck you watch that wasn't going to be as much whatever whatever the heck I watch I don't know what you watch you said you watch is something you keep that on the fact that I don't have all these streaming services in I'm not throwing anything out there Yeah, understand that you don't have streaming services and that's particularly fine.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: I will ever come however Over half of our audience probably a good I would say probably 75% or more of our audience does have access to streaming Do not in a fixed income.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's fine
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: But you also have access to them.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: You can go to other people's houses.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like you can go see if you know what you want to.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you can.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_02]: People's houses.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, you can.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: You just choose not to because you'd rather stay at home and play pickle ball all day.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_01]: We get it.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand it.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: You're retired.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, retirees.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_02]: That would be impossible to do.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_02]: I would break shit.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: You have four courts at an animal in the area that you live in.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_01]: The community you live in has at least four courts.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_02]: But we're not 12, 24 hours a day.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: I just said that's what you would do 24 hours a day if you could.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_02]: If I could possibly, so that's what you're on their do.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: So you clearly, what I'd rather do clearly distribute.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: You clearly distribute money towards you having an actual money.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: I bought a regular that's the only money I spent.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's a racket.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: We all about it.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: So do that.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: You need to connect with your connection there.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: So in all homes three, is it everything that it should be?
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: Is it everything that does?
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: We see the title again, please.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_01]: In all homes three.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_02]: ENO LA.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: In all of it, can we, you know, what it stands for, is there?
- 18:49[SPEAKER_01]: Spell backwards, it's alone.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: OK, well, Evian spell backwards is naive.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_02]: So what's your point?
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: I don't buy it.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: What's your point?
- 18:59[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know what Anola was, is that it's a name.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_02]: Is that a reason for it to be a loan backward?
- 19:04[SPEAKER_01]: The girl's name is Anola.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, she's a loan.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: No, spell backward at a loan.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: So, not part of the storyline.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: It is if you watch the first two movies, not necessarily the third movie.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: They were movies.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: They're all movies on Netflix.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry that you don't have streaming so they're movies that you are not capable of watching.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_01]: There are three movies.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: What part of that didn't you understand?
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: Do you understand the words that is coming out of my mouth?
- 19:29[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, so there are three movies in all of?
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, three three and no-law homes movies.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: The first one is a no-law homes.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: The second one is a no-law homes.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: And the third one is a no-law homes.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: Four?
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: Math is not your greatest subject.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't it streaming on Prime the first one?
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: You can't count.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's not streaming on Prime.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's a Netflix property.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_02]: I thought I saw it on Prime.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: I did not.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: You did not see it on Prime.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: And if you saw it, you would also know that a Nolan Holmes is actually Sherlock Holmes's
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: a sister.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_02]: I've been watching Tone Anola, which is not alone.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: Great.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: Took you along.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: Took you a long time to come up with that joke.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_01]: Not a long time.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: Let's say took you a long time to come up with that joke.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't it?
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: It was good.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: And then you did it backwards and wrong.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's speaking to that.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about jokes.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: What do you get when you cross a farmer and a robot?
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: a transformer.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's because I told you the joke.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: No, not that.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's because I told you the joke earlier, but anyway, yes, you didn't know before, and I got witnesses where in this very studio right now, in the moment, how about you?
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: There we go.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, let's move on with this is.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: Let's move on to a Nola Holmes and quit wasting time.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: So Nola, not a Nola movie.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_01]: In Nola Holmes III, of course starring Millie Bobby Brown, who of course everybody knows from Netflix fame form her character 11 on Stranger Things.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: The first two movies, absolutely phenomenal.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: hilarious hysterical.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: They were witty.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: They were fun.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: There was great banter.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: They were just like fun comedy thriller mystery type movies that you would expect that like Sherlock Holmes would kind of be associated with, which by the way, Superman, a former Superman, play Sherlock Holmes in these movies.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, we're talking about Henry Cavill.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: I absolutely love him.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: And you know what?
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think he should play Sherlock on a regular basis now.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think they should give him a series.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of in the same vein that they
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's the molast one who played homes, I think, for the BBC.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: But so the first two movies were great.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: The third movie, it's okay.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's entertaining, but they got a new director, and you can totally tell that the whole thing just changed.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I'm curious to see if maybe it's because, like, this is supposed to be a trilogy, and they spent too much money on the first two, so they were overbudget, so they decided to make cuts on this one.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not exactly sure.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: Entertainment-wise, it's okay.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: Is it a fun mystery?
- 22:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_01]: The story is kind of here and there, but honestly, I wish we could go back to the drawing board on this one and maybe do something else with it, and maybe revitalize it, maybe bring back the original director.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know exactly what.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: But it's okay, it's not like anything to write home about.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: If you saw the first two, you might be a little disappointed But you might actually thoroughly enjoy it.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Helena bottom Carter is in it and she does a fabulous job
- 22:41[SPEAKER_01]: You seriously need hearing aids or you need to buy like one of those little suction things to stick in your ears And something bad I didn't say bottom cutter.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say bottom cutter.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_02]: What did you say?
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: I said bottom cutter a bottom card I thought you said bottom cutter Wow, I'm like whoa, that's a tough job And this is what happens when we try to talk about what we're gonna do for episodes folks.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: He clearly Does not look about what we're gonna do right.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, of course There's a whole spreadsheet on it.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'll give it to everybody it's on Gmail anyway
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: The whole point is it's okay.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'd probably give it like a five, just because it's entertaining, maybe a five and a half, but the story is kind of eh.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like I said, the change between directors really what makes me go, what was at the point of this?
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: It just feels out of place, it feels all over the disjointed, Henry Cavalry's good.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: Millie Bobby Brown is great in the role.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: Listen here.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's my prerogative.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say what I want to say and you need to just shut the I just have Bobby Brown.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'd milly Bobby.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: Seriously.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to go to Walgreens or some other drugs So I'm going to buy you that you're like crap sucker things so we can get that crap out of your ears So you can actually hear people my aunt said my ears are beautiful.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, baloney.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_02]: That's what he said.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, then you clearly have selective hearing
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: maybe.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, and look, there's silence.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: So thank you very much Simon and Garfunkel.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: I will, I will leave you to your review.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, is it going to be the end of your silence finally?
- 24:08[SPEAKER_02]: I'm done.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, are you sure?
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: You're actually going to be silent for more.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_02]: Not another week.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: I call bullshit.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: I won't say nothing.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_02]: you just did.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_02]: Point proven.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_02]: You can count on me to be quiet.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh, I thought maybe we had our phone call there.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's not it.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: Well, anyway, folks, you know, if you see the first two, maybe not see the third one or maybe just see it just so you can kind of agree with me or disagree with me.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: Either way, it's entertaining, but that's pretty much all that there really is there to it.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so what's it about?
- 24:42[SPEAKER_02]: Huh?
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: And Noah Holmes is basically... Oh, it's a Sherlock Holmes.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: Sister.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: And she's...
- 24:49[SPEAKER_02]: Mysteries.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: Mysteries.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's a crime.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: A crime's a mystery.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: A dinosaur, they're a crime.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, Mysteries.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, this is kind of...
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: This is a suicide kick?
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: Huh?
- 24:57[SPEAKER_02]: This is a suicide kick?
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_02]: And is it... Last name Watson, but any chance?
- 25:03[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 25:03[UNKNOWN]: Oh.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: Sherlock.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: The sidekick is sure, like, kind of sort of, it's kind of fun, it's a fun play on Sherlock.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_02]: So this comedy, then, are you telling me it's a comedy?
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: Did you not, did you seriously not listen to me?
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, we already know the answer to that.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: The answer is yes.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_01]: You're just trying to, oh, I, okay, all right, yeah, here we go.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_01]: This is what he does to me every single episode, folks.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_01]: He revs me up and gets me going and we're not doing that anymore.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: I love you.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_02]: I love you.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_02]: No, you don't.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_02]: But sometimes,
- 25:32[SPEAKER_02]: Our audience does not get a clear answer to what you're saying.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_02]: So I try to guide you through a clear answer to what you're saying.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, look, it helps.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_02]: Helpful.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: What am I not clearly answering?
- 25:45[SPEAKER_02]: To get you to, to just be a little clearer.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: And your country show you a grade because you're a country.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_02]: And you're talking to country people.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, look, we're great timing.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: So much great timing because now we get to, you get the shut up.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_01]: Are you going to answer to you just going to let it ring?
- 26:02[SPEAKER_02]: Hello.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_02]: Hello there.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: Hello, Tina.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'm here with Chris Miles.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_02]: You want to say hi to Chris?
- 26:09[SPEAKER_01]: What's up, Tina?
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: Hello.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_02]: Are you ready to do your review of Minions?
- 26:16[SPEAKER_02]: I did mine.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're going to start with 10 to 1 rating or 1 to 10 rating first.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_02]: Now, we start with what you thought of it first, and your opinions, and then we do the rating.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: The best part is he sounds just like his dad.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's hilarious.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I thought that the beginning of the part where they go through the history of Hollywood and all the great actors and producers.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that was kind of like pointless in my opinion, because
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: If what I should have done is started right off with the minions trying to find the master and it's stumbling about how upon how you would, so that they could really find the magic in their own way and not just have a decent story that was told to visitors.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_02]: That is a brilliant, brilliant observation, you know, feels fed.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly what I said.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's scripted.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, good.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_02]: Definitely related.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_02]: You may proceed, I'll keep Chris quiet for you.
- 27:21[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, unless he's talking about reviewing Toy Story 5 next time because I would love to do that.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: What, give us your, go ahead, give us your exclusive Toy Story 5 right now, right on the spot.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_00]: All right, well, you guys haven't seen it.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: I saw it.
- 27:35[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_00]: better toy stories, mainly because it really focused on the present time here.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: In the other movie, so it's been played with, and kids are being happy to play with them.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: But now this will be really focused on the present without technology slowly taking away kids.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_00]: Childhood piece by piece, allowing because of their advance.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_02]: Very smart, let's go back to Minions, because I didn't see that movie and now you're just ruined it for me.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_02]: So go ahead and finish Minions.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: How did he ruin the movie?
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: Excuse me, we have a guest.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm asking you.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: And your guest can chime in.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: He has his own thoughts and opinions and stuff like that.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_01]: How did he ruin the movie for you?
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: Because in the previews, because it's the previews.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: The previews shows the kid on the screen.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: Playin' with a little leapfrog looking thing.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's a screen.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: That guy's an iPad.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_02]: OK, continue with your minions, sir.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_00]: Sir, I hope that minions and monsters were all pretty good at some of that one part in the movie, especially when they did all that funny stuff, trying to audition by defeating those boss actors who are trying to portray Vikings and Vikings are in history very, very strong and very,
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: spoiler alert of your striking opponents, but what the silly minions being able to take them down with that one comedy and it just made the movie for me.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, anything else?
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: for the maintenance mobiles talk because without one city being at the beginning of the movie and taking it off kind of brought down from the ten, but I would say it was an overall with the story and how the monsters kind of ruined everything but then it creates this of awesome film and it looked like it was working at the end.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_00]: All of them as a tribe and not just
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: We were on the same track our first I'm you didn't break it at any point today.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_02]: I say they point five to nine Overall because what I said Balloni I said that okay rewind the tape.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, well, we maybe sometimes you should listen what to the show what?
- 30:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we don't need any of the actors names
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: No, he did not give any of the actors names.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_01]: So if you want to upsell yourself and maybe get a spot in the seat here, give us some of the actor names that were in the movie.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_01]: Go ahead.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: I also know that two actresses are one actress named Olivia is one of the two actresses that voices every many in the movie.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: And you did a hundred percent better than your grandfather.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: So you're good.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: So who's the other actress?
- 30:43[SPEAKER_02]: You said you knew.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, I just know that it's true actresses, you, uh, each voice, some minions, and I've been interested.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_00]: I saw this in a YouTube video, one of them will do the Spanish part, and then they'll do the whole scene over again with the other one during the Italian part, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do the Spanish, and then the other one will do
- 31:24[SPEAKER_02]: and Chris is fluent in gibberish.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_02]: So he could probably be in the next menu in his movie.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's because I talked to you grandfather or pop whatever you call him on a daily basis.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, very good, Minion.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_02]: See, he said you'd be a good minion.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate that.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: You probably would be a better minion than I would though.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good point.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: So let's go a little bit further on your key point there.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: Jesse Eisenberg is in the film.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: Pierre Coffin is in the film, Christopher Walgz.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: Zoe Duschnell is in the film, Tre Parker, Jeff Bridges, Allison Janey, all of these actors and actresses that you missed.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't mention a single one of them.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't care because it's a wild movie.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_01]: George Lucas is even in the movie.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_02]: I know, but I don't know.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: That's kind of movie where the actor is the issue.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm gonna I'm gonna say this if you want a job for the rising star or if you want a job at the rise network in cheesy popcorn, you're hired Next Wednesday No, third day
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's your job, dude, you tell him to take you and then he's got to do it because that's the way that thing works.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: I hope you know that.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_02]: And that note, we'll say goodbye.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_02]: I hear you by your pool, so go back to the pool.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_02]: I love you.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: Bye bye.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: sold out by your grandson.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's awesome.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't get any better than that.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's completely awesome.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's because you scripted him.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's what he was doing.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: He was going back for you for all the stuff you told him to.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_01]: All the script you wrote for him.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, now he did a phenomenal job.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: He did.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_02]: You could tell he really thought about it, which is really nice.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_01]: And he's going to take over your spot pretty quickly if you don't ship up.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_02]: Is there any about an inch taller than me?
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: Awesome.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: Really appreciate that.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Armand, for letting us use your sun there.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to say use your son.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: I would say feature the local feature of your son feature It's a better way to put it.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_01]: We need we have to get you with a PR person anyway.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_02]: I am PR Yeah, NPR everywhere.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_02]: I go on with a PR person.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that doesn't count Just because you're Puerto Rican.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's not what I was referring to the PR version.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's get back on to worse visual effects of all time.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: Are you ready?

- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: Go through.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wow.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_02]: Cats.

- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna keep fumbling.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good thing that we're not a sports podcast.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, the, the person who makes the least amount of money takes the other person's name.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_02]: That's generally how it works.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: So, Travis Swift.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: Travis Swift.

- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: All right, okay.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: So, all right, my list only has a couple of movies, okay.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: Justice League.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: Some of the worst visual effects I've seen in my entire life.

- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, not even great.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: It was terrible, okay.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, now I've offended all the Schneider fans, so that's okay.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: And then, probably the biggest one escaped from LA.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_02]: Really.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_01]: What about escape from New York, which was just one before I that one was way better than escaped from LA.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_02]: Interesting.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: And then last but not least, going to give Arnold mentioned to lost in space.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was not that was terrible and that was let's let's let's let's put Joey in a movie and let's see if he can make some money for us because you know Friends is over and we can't get anybody no fence Joey by the way.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean the whole world and we can't get anybody better I just say was waiting for him to say how you do Yeah, exactly that and I wanted the month of the the robot rather than going dangerous major and there was just anyway total flop Just like Michael Keaton and Batman
- 37:32[SPEAKER_00]: Beetlejuice.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: Same thing.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: So you never actually put my point seriously.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: Need to get off your high horse about that.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_01]: Because so many people have written in and said that you are wrong.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: Including your sons.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: I might call to you know, I bet you he'll agree with us as well too.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, next time we put them on, we're gonna put them on next episode and we say, hey, what do you think of the casting of Mr. Keaton as Batman and do you see Beetlejuice and no, you know what, no, we're not gonna do that because you're gonna feed him the lines so that he says exactly what you want him to say.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: No, you totally wouldn't, because you just did.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, I believe in the pendant thinking.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_02]: And like somebody sitting across me.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: Independent thinking.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_02]: How do I proud?
- 38:14[SPEAKER_02]: You're coming with the crowd.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_02]: David, Mike O'Kate was great.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going with the crowd.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: That's my own personal opinion.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_01]: He was a great Batman.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_02]: No, he was.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he was.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_02]: He was horrible Batman.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, who's the greatest of all time, then?
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: Batman wise.

- 40:42[SPEAKER_02]: You told me about where to hamsters go.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_02]: on vacation, and you said the answer was hamster damn, and I asked him where do hamsters go on vacation, and his almost immediate response was New Hamster, which is funnier than hamster damn in my opinion.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: Of course it is, because you're biased.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm not biased.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's your grandson.

- 41:09[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you would not have said that.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I would have said no.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: No, I would have not.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: No, I would have said new hamster was a better punchline to the joke than I had.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: I totally would have done it.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_02]: But I said it first.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_02]: No, you didn't.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_02]: I just said it first.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_02]: He'd done one, I said it before.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_02]: He did.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: No, he said new hamster.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: I said it was funnier than hamster.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_02]: And that's when I said I would have said not fun.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_01]: I would tell him that new hamster was the funniest punchline to that joke.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I was getting at.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: Now I got to give you grandpa lessons, too.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: Jeez, Louise.
