- 0:42This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it. Swirl. This little light of. Swirl.
- 0:49I'm gonna let it. Swirl. Let it. Swirl. Let it.
- 0:54Swirl. Let it. Swirl. Ew.
- 0:58Daddy, I'm so excited, but I have one question. What's your question?
- 1:03I'm going to be a pastor or a minister.
- 1:05Good question. I don't know, but it is all in God's hands. Good morning.
- 1:10You're listening to Have Faith, Let It Begin, and it starts right now.
- 1:15Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin.
- 1:18On this beautiful Wednesday morning, the sun is rising. We're going to go right
- 1:22into a prayer for a very good friend of mine and his name.
- 1:26We call him Nighthawk. And I didn't get permission to say his name live on the air.
- 1:30So I'm going to just go by his title name that he uses on TikTok.
- 1:34And here's the prayer that we have.
- 1:36He's about to go into a very, very serious procedure.
- 1:40It's going to be a spinal neck surgery.
- 1:43And him and I can relate because I had spinal surgery back in 1996.
- 1:48So you can come together with me right now. and pray for this gentleman.
- 1:52His name is Nighthawk2025, and he's on TikTok.
- 1:56And this is the prayer we have for him. Heavenly Father, we just ask you at
- 2:00this time to be with him, to guide him, to allow him to move forward into this operating room.
- 2:06Allow your wisdom and your guidance and your hope,
- 2:10and all the fears that he has inside of him to just disappear because he has
- 2:14so much faith in you, Lord, that we ask you to watch over the doctors and nurses
- 2:18and all those that'll be in that room and all those that'll be helping him in his recovery.
- 2:23We ask you this in your precious name, place your healing hand upon him and
- 2:27allow him to wake up with no pain, no discomfort, and just feeling righteous
- 2:33and ready to take on the world.
- 2:35We pray this unto you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
- 2:40So that's our prayer this morning for Nighthawk. I wanted to talk to you about prayer this morning.
- 2:45A day without prayer is a day without power. I've said this before.
- 2:50When you wake up in the morning and you start your morning, even if you had
- 2:54a really rough night, listen, I had about maybe three hours of sleep.
- 2:57My son Noah had 103.7 fever and I was not about to go to sleep until that fever dropped.
- 3:04And even after the fever dropped, I was praying over him. You know,
- 3:08when we have children, when we have loved ones, and they are in need of prayer, that's what we do.
- 3:13And we have yesterday, I have a funny story. I was at the DMV.
- 3:18Department of Motor Vehicles, and my father and I, my father,
- 3:21a 25-year military vet, was there.
- 3:24And the lady behind the counter was very, very polite, respectful to my father,
- 3:29thanking him for the service.
- 3:30And you know while you're doing paperwork and things are loading
- 3:33on the screens there's time for a little bit of interaction and
- 3:36that's what she was doing very calm and courteous
- 3:39and professional she asked questions you know she knew
- 3:42that he was spanish i was spanish she was wondering if we were from we were
- 3:46born from puerto rico which we did we were conversating and then of course when
- 3:49the systems would stop loading we'd get back to business uh you know filling
- 3:54out forms and then waiting in between interactions and transactions while the
- 4:00computers would load, we'd have conversation.
- 4:02Well, right to my right ear, I could hear this gentleman who was obviously,
- 4:07listen, we were all there waiting. You all waited at the DMV.
- 4:10So we've all been there over an hour. And I guess he didn't think kindly to
- 4:15the fact that we were conversating.
- 4:16So he made a comment and says, I guess they're going to stand there and talk
- 4:19about Puerto Rico all day.
- 4:21And part of me wanted to, turn around and say, mind your business, obviously, right?
- 4:27But thank God about being in ministry school and having my faith in our Lord
- 4:31and Savior, Jesus Christ, and knowing what he went through when he was on the
- 4:35cross, knowing that when he was up there in pain,
- 4:39suffering, and everyone was making fun of him, spitting on him,
- 4:42telling him to get down, you know, all this, he said, Lord, forgive them for
- 4:46they don't know what they do.
- 4:48So all I did was turn over to the gentleman and says, don't worry, we're almost done.
- 4:52And as soon as our transaction was completed and we've done,
- 4:56I turned to him and said, you know, sir, I'm going to pray for you today to
- 5:01give you a little bit more patience.
- 5:02Have a blessed day. God bless you.
- 5:05There's a lot of people out there that don't have the patience in prayer.
- 5:09There's a lot of people out there that don't have hope.
- 5:12Thank you for your prayers, my son Noah. Woke up this morning taking his temperature
- 5:16before I went to work, he was at 98.3.
- 5:19God is good all the time. And all the time, God is good.
- 5:24Take a few minutes every single morning to pray with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
- 5:29Take a few minutes, even if you have to say, hey God, Angel here,
- 5:33I'm hoping I'm having a good day. and I hope you are too.
- 5:37We'll talk later. Amen. That's a prayer.
- 5:40Prayer doesn't have to begin with, you know, let us bow our heads.
- 5:44That's up to you. It's your relationship with God.
- 5:47So this morning, as you go about your day, think about all these other people
- 5:53that are struggling with their faith.
- 5:55Those that are about to go into surgeries. Those that have been diagnosed.
- 5:59There was a woman at the DMV who could barely walk and needed a cane.
- 6:03She had to be in their 20s. but yet she was walking proudly.
- 6:07Mind me of little John in the Bible.
- 6:11Guys, a day without prayer is a day without power. So here's your challenge today. Do me a favor.
- 6:17When you get a chance, take your cell phone out,
- 6:21scroll through your cell phone, stop at a person's name and let them know that
- 6:27you were thinking of them, that you were praying for them and then give them
- 6:32a call or text them. Don't matter.
- 6:35And then finish your day with the Lord's Prayer. Maybe even start your day with one.
- 6:39It sounds like this. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
- 6:44Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- 6:49Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our
- 6:55debtors. Lead us not into temptation.
- 6:58Deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, is the power,
- 7:03is the glory forever and ever.
- 7:06In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
- 7:08So may God be with you. May he shine his light upon you.
- 7:12May the Lord bless and hold Nighthawk accountable and understand that we are
- 7:19with you, we are guiding you, and we are praying for you.
- 7:23May God be with all of you. And never forget, have faith and let it begin.
