.it section that deepens the topics discussed
• 1:01
on the portal. I am with journalist Enzo Mauri,
• 1:04
who introduces the current topic. for the first
• 1:25
time in Italy on February 22, 1979, with the
• 1:29
quick Wolf Bruna. In the episode, the three protagonists
• 1:32
have to see her with five Nazis fleeing abroad.
• 1:35
It goes without saying that the plots of the
• 1:36
Invincible were quite something compared to the
• 1:39
spacious atmospheres told in the series with
• 1:42
Ricky Cunningham and Sochi. The adventures ranged
• 1:44
from simple robbery to adding to contorted cases
• 1:47
of international intrigues. The Italian public
• 1:50
divided at that time between big and small, waiting
• 1:52
until 1940. 45 of the Almanac of the day after,
• 1:56
followed by over 10 million viewers, showed to
• 1:59
please moderately the Invincible. The RA, in
• 2:01
fact, proposed from Monday to Saturday only 24
• 2:04
of the 52 episodes from 25 minutes one of the
• 2:07
series, divided into two seasons, the last went
• 2:10
on air on March 26, 1979. Just for the duration
• 2:14
of only 25 minutes, instead of the usual 45 -50,
• 2:18
the scripting of the Invincible was often hasty
• 2:21
and developed in an illogical way. It is not
• 2:23
yet known why the sequence of episodes of the
• 2:26
Invincible in Italy was overturned compared to
• 2:29
the original. Forgive me. From September 1980,
• 2:43
the remaining episodes were programmed by Channel
• 2:46
5, except for one, Queen, which remained unpublished
• 2:48
in Italy. The Invincible represented the only
• 2:51
non -scientific film created by Gerry Anderson
• 2:55
and the second after UFO with actors in flesh
• 2:57
and blood to follow the experience with the electronic
• 3:00
puppets. Produced by the ITC Entertainment of
• 3:03
Lou Gray, the series was first broadcast in Great
• 3:06
Britain between 1972 and 1973. The Invincible
• 3:10
remains one of the most successful series signed
• 3:13
by the British screenwriter and TV producer.
• 3:16
The film was also broadcast in France, Germany
• 3:18
and the United States. For this, I will pay you
• 3:39
4 million dollars. Just like those two in the
• 3:42
same period, The Invincible was set up in many
• 3:45
exotic places. To compensate for the costs, they
• 3:48
decided to shoot it in 16mm instead of the traditional
• 3:51
35mm. Although the original title, The Protectors,
• 3:55
makes you think of bodyguards, The Invincible
• 3:57
instead tells the adventures around the world
• 3:59
of three very special investigators. The three,
• 4:02
all very rich, are part of the secret organization
• 4:05
The Protectors with one seat. who has the task
• 4:08
of guaranteeing the protection of innocent people.

• 4:26
The protagonist of the Invincible is the head
• 4:27
of the trio Harry Reuel, the actor Robert Wogan,
• 4:30
and he owns a very efficient company in London,
• 4:33
and with him there is Suki, the actress Yasuko
• 4:35
Nagazumi, Japanese secretary, martial arts expert.
• 4:39
Harry Reuel moves further into a splendid car,
• 4:42
the Jensen Interceptor, worthy of the Aston Martin
• 4:45
by James Bond. Paul Boucher is also part of the
• 4:48
team, expert in a modern technologies. The character
• 4:51
works in Paris and is played by Tony Howe -Hott,
• 4:54
then Tony Verdischi in the second season of Space,
• 4:57
1999. In Rome, however, where he manages a specialized
• 5:02
investigative agency in the recovery of stolen
• 5:03
works and art, there is the Countess Carolin
• 5:06
di Contini, actress Nairi Dawn Porter. To make
• 5:09
her a waitress, driver and bodyguard, there is
• 5:11
Kino, Anthony Chin, who comes from Mongolia.
• 5:14
In Rome, it takes place in Non vedere il male,
• 5:17
broadcast by Canal 5, This is not the first time
• 5:29
that Chandor has been imprisoned for his political
• 5:32
beliefs. The first time was 1941. And the prison
• 5:38
was Dachau. Jerry Anderson, in his biography,
• 5:41
said that Robert Wogan behaved like the first
• 5:43
woman in Hollywood, often arguing with the other
• 5:46
actors. Wogan himself defined him as the ungrateful,
• 5:48
tasteless trash. Chandor is a sick man. If we
• 5:52
do not get him out of prison, soon he may die.
• 5:55
I beg you to help us. Where is the prison? The
• 6:02
title of the movie became famous too, Emenuze
• 6:05
and Halle Weasel signed by Tony Christie, while
• 6:08
in Italy the Identikit final took place, sung
• 6:11
by Jimmy Fontana. Thank you Denzo Mauri for the
• 6:14
modern theme. See you in the next episode of
