- 0:15Speaker 1: Welcome to jag Zamkynunie Stephens, Brian Sext and John Oser
- 0:18Speaker 1: with you today as we're getting ready for Week eleven.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Jaguar is going to face off against the Chargers here
- 0:23Speaker 1: at Everbanks Stadium on Sunday. So let's get into our
- 0:25Speaker 1: big things for you today, brought to you by g
- 0:27Speaker 1: EH Government Employees Health Association Benefits for federal employees and retirees.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Big thing number one is response.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Obviously we didn't see the game we wanted to see
- 0:37Speaker 1: against the Texans, specifically in the fourth quarter. Last week,
- 0:40Speaker 1: Liam Cohen talked about the importance of a good response
- 0:43Speaker 1: from his team.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Yeah, we do need to respond. It is part of us.
- 0:48Speaker 3: And you know, we talked a lot about today that
- 0:53Speaker 3: the soul of sport is.
- 0:57Speaker 4: Team.
- 0:59Speaker 3: The soul of sport. Why do we want our kids
- 1:01Speaker 3: to play sport because of the lessons that it does
- 1:04Speaker 3: and provides you as people, as teammates, as men, and
- 1:09Speaker 3: that connection is what's going to get us over the
- 1:12Speaker 3: hump in those moments and then a tough time like
- 1:16Speaker 3: coming off a loss like Sunday.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Brian, you asked Liam Quohan about what he wanted to
- 1:20Speaker 1: see out of his team this week, what the response
- 1:23Speaker 1: needed to be and talk a lot about team. I
- 1:25Speaker 1: think we're going to learn a lot about this team
- 1:26Speaker 1: on Sunday.
- 1:27Speaker 5: Well, Liam is a he is always looking at his team,
- 1:31Speaker 5: but I was curious, I mean, because of the way
- 1:33Speaker 5: that game ended, is he more is he diving deeper
- 1:38Speaker 5: into his team's mindset? And as you heard his answer
- 1:41Speaker 5: there was pretty consistent. I mean, he's got a level
- 1:44Speaker 5: a standard that he expects his team to play to.
- 1:47Speaker 5: You know, I offer you this, just because they didn't
- 1:49Speaker 5: doesn't mean they can't, right, I mean, just because they
- 1:52Speaker 5: didn't play well in the fourth quarter last week, didn't
- 1:55Speaker 5: really show up at all, doesn't mean they can't step
- 1:57Speaker 5: out on the field and play well. Coach I Admire
- 2:00Speaker 5: greatly shared that with me probably ten years ago, and
- 2:04Speaker 5: it has always rung true. Just because you have a
- 2:07Speaker 5: bad day on one Sunday and you show holes, you
- 2:10Speaker 5: exposed some deficiencies, doesn't mean that your coaching staff can't
- 2:14Speaker 5: put something together and then the team go out on
- 2:17Speaker 5: the field and play well on Sunday. I know there's
- 2:19Speaker 5: a lot of consternation. This is a seven and three team.
- 2:21Speaker 5: They're coming in on a three game winning streak. Justin
- 2:23Speaker 5: Herbert's as good a quarterback as there is right now.
- 2:26Speaker 5: But the response should be this just because we didn't
- 2:29Speaker 5: doesn't mean we can't.
- 2:30Speaker 6: Yeah, the consternation is real and this is a really
- 2:33Speaker 6: tough matchup, and I think anybody who watched Liam Cohen's
- 2:37Speaker 6: presser at press conference after the Texans game, you can
- 2:42Speaker 6: see he said that locker room with shel shock. How
- 2:45Speaker 6: they respond this week is critical and started right after
- 2:48Speaker 6: that game. I don't know how to predict it. It's
- 2:52Speaker 6: a big game on that front. I absolutely believe that
- 2:57Speaker 6: the team will respond to Liam Cohen how they respond
- 3:01Speaker 6: on Sunday. They need to play well. I don't know
- 3:04Speaker 6: if you know winning, Yes, you want to win, but
- 3:08Speaker 6: for this team, Psyche, playing well on Sunday against a
- 3:12Speaker 6: really good Chargers team is important.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Let's get into big thing number two, which is let
- 3:17Speaker 1: it rip. We've heard a lot of criticism and I
- 3:19Speaker 1: think some of it's there against both the defense and
- 3:22Speaker 1: the quarterback. So far, what we've seen from Trevor Lawrence's play,
- 3:25Speaker 1: Braham Cohen talked a little bit about his conversation that
- 3:27Speaker 1: he had with TB one.
- 3:29Speaker 3: You know, hey man, cut it loose, and let it rip,
- 3:32Speaker 3: you know, when we do have some of those opportunities,
- 3:34Speaker 3: and hey man, we yes, we don't want to turn
- 3:38Speaker 3: the ball over, right, We want to turn it over
- 3:40Speaker 3: on defense and we want to keep it on offense.
- 3:43Speaker 3: But we can't you know, be thinking about that or
- 3:46Speaker 3: trying to play to not make a mistake at all. Right,
- 3:50Speaker 3: And so the message for trev and our conversation is
- 3:54Speaker 3: to just go cut it loose, let it rip, and
- 3:58Speaker 3: see what happens.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Right.
- 3:59Speaker 3: You don't need to be Jordan, you know, point guards, facilitators, distributors.
- 4:06Speaker 3: You know, that's what we need. And that's what we
- 4:09Speaker 3: talked about yesterday.
- 4:11Speaker 2: John.
- 4:11Speaker 1: How important is that kind of message of just not
- 4:14Speaker 1: taking it too seriously, not playing too tight, and going
- 4:17Speaker 1: out there and playing football.
- 4:18Speaker 6: Yeah, I assume he was referring to Michael Jordan, Billy Jordan,
- 4:21Speaker 6: who I played high school basketball. No, I think it
- 4:23Speaker 6: might be the guy, so Billy would like not be
- 4:27Speaker 6: the guy that you wanted to patting yourself after Look,
- 4:30Speaker 6: he Uh, it's easy to see why there would be
- 4:34Speaker 6: a little bit of hesitation with Trevor. Uh, you're still
- 4:37Speaker 6: in your first system and a new offense. You don't
- 4:39Speaker 6: want to have turnovers hurt your team, and I think
- 4:44Speaker 6: that is why the offensive line gets blamed for sacks, Brian,
- 4:48Speaker 6: But you know, sometimes there are quarterbacks is there are
- 4:51Speaker 6: many many things.
- 4:52Speaker 4: I do think Liam wants to.
- 4:54Speaker 6: Say, Look, if your first read is there and it's
- 4:57Speaker 6: a little bit of a chance throw, don't make a
- 4:59Speaker 6: stupid mistake. But you know, over the course of the
- 5:03Speaker 6: last ten games, if you have four or five more interceptions,
- 5:07Speaker 6: but you're being aggressive and getting to that read we want,
- 5:12Speaker 6: then I think the aggression will counter the negative of
- 5:16Speaker 6: the interceptions. And Liam Cohen's mind, go after it. We
- 5:19Speaker 6: have to make this offense work.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Listen, I'm all for it.
- 5:21Speaker 5: But I can also understand why he would hold back.
- 5:24Speaker 5: And look at all the drops he's had this sure
- 5:26Speaker 5: the Jaggers lead the league and drop how many times
- 5:28Speaker 5: has he put the ball out there only to have
- 5:30Speaker 5: someone drop it? So you can see why he might
- 5:32Speaker 5: be a little bit more cautious. And I think I
- 5:34Speaker 5: haven't looked lately John, but I think he's still the
- 5:36Speaker 5: quarterback with the most turnovers since he came into the
- 5:39Speaker 5: league in twenty twenty one, and the message has been
- 5:41Speaker 5: protect the ball, protect the ball, protect the ball. So
- 5:45Speaker 5: Liam's got to pull him through it and get him
- 5:47Speaker 5: to a gunslinger mentality.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Does he have that?
- 5:51Speaker 5: I don't know, but he has the talent to do that,
- 5:53Speaker 5: so it'll be interesting to see how he evolves through it.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Just to side note, he was asked about Liam's comments
- 5:59Speaker 5: during his press conference later in the day. I'm a
- 6:01Speaker 5: body language guy. I didn't sense that he really loved
- 6:04Speaker 5: the question that he liked that line. I think he
- 6:07Speaker 5: has been put under the microscope to such a degree
- 6:11Speaker 5: that maybe he's growing weary of it, and maybe that
- 6:13Speaker 5: will push him through to think, you know, the hell
- 6:14Speaker 5: with it.
- 6:15Speaker 4: I'm just gonna let it fly, I hope.
- 6:16Speaker 1: So I think the pressure's going to stay on, so
- 6:19Speaker 1: hopefully that does come true. Our third big thing today
- 6:23Speaker 1: is the third.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Times for the Charm.
- 6:24Speaker 1: We're gonna talk a little bit about the Chargers coming.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Up in the next block.
- 6:26Speaker 1: But right now, one of the things they do best
- 6:29Speaker 1: is converting on third down and also on defense, stopping
- 6:32Speaker 1: their opponents on third down.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Brian, That's something we've talked.
- 6:35Speaker 1: About here for years as being an issue for the Jaguars,
- 6:38Speaker 1: but the Chargers seem.
- 6:39Speaker 2: To have it down right now.
- 6:40Speaker 5: They do and obviously they're a well coached football team.
- 6:43Speaker 5: They're very balanced, they've got weapons at all three levels,
- 6:46Speaker 5: and they've got the ability to go where they want
- 6:48Speaker 5: to go and a quarterback who's performing at a high level.
- 6:50Speaker 4: That makes a big difference.
- 6:52Speaker 5: The penalties, obviously, John, they're not putting themselves in second
- 6:55Speaker 5: and twelve or third down and thirteen. They're giving themselves
- 6:58Speaker 5: opportunities to stay ahead of the chain, and the Jaguars
- 7:01Speaker 5: haven't got that done. I will say this, I think
- 7:05Speaker 5: that Jim Harball is an excellent football coach. I said
- 7:09Speaker 5: the other day, whether he was at the University of
- 7:10Speaker 5: San Diego, the San Francisco forty nine Ers, or Michigan,
- 7:14Speaker 5: the guy has won everywhere he's gone with a very smart.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Tough football team.
- 7:19Speaker 5: So it doesn't surprise me at all that they're really
- 7:22Speaker 5: good on those money downs on both sides of the ball.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Yeah. I haven't dug into this stat for the Chargers,
- 7:27Speaker 6: but my guess is they keep themselves in pretty good
- 7:30Speaker 6: third down situations offensively, shorter yardage, and they played good
- 7:34Speaker 6: defense early in series to get into third law. It's
- 7:38Speaker 6: usually what third down efficiency is all about. They're good
- 7:46Speaker 6: and they're tough, and they play good defense, and they
- 7:49Speaker 6: run the ball well at key times. That's what helps
- 7:52Speaker 6: them be good on third down. And the Jaguars could
- 7:54Speaker 6: take a note from that. Particularly, Brian talked about the
- 7:58Speaker 6: penalties are what killed the Jaguar on both of these
- 8:01Speaker 6: downs when you compare them.
- 8:02Speaker 4: With the Chargers, for sure.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Say, let's here on JAGSA, I'm coming up. I'll check
- 8:05Speaker 1: in one with one of the Chargers media members to
- 8:07Speaker 1: learn more about the team TAGSZA. I'm brought to you
- 8:11Speaker 1: by Field Auto Groups and Field First, Jacksonvill's premiere luxury autogroop.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Go to Fieldsauto dot com. And this Sunday's game, Jaguars
- 8:18Speaker 1: against the Chargers brought to you by CSX welcoming to
- 8:24Speaker 1: behind Enemy Lines where we check in with a media
- 8:26Speaker 1: member from.
- 8:26Speaker 2: The Jaguars opponent.
- 8:28Speaker 1: This week, they're playing the Chargers, so we're checking with
- 8:30Speaker 1: Shannon Farren, Chargers sideline reporter.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Shannon, Thanks for joining us. We're looking forward to this.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I know you're in a different time clock than us,
- 8:36Speaker 1: so I appreciate you joining me today.
- 8:39Speaker 7: Of course, happy to be here and happy to come
- 8:41Speaker 7: out and see y'all in Jacksonville.
- 8:42Speaker 8: In a couple of days.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Absolutely, We know you guys are having quite an up
- 8:46Speaker 1: and down season, obviously doing really great in the playoff
- 8:49Speaker 1: hunt right now after a big win over the Steelers,
- 8:51Speaker 1: but you still haven't had your bye week. So how's
- 8:53Speaker 1: the season been going as a whole and kind of
- 8:55Speaker 1: battling through.
- 8:55Speaker 2: With the injuries and whatnot.
- 8:57Speaker 7: Yeah, it feels like usually the Chargers get hit by
- 9:00Speaker 7: the injury bug more than any other team, at least
- 9:03Speaker 7: that's what Chargers fans will tell you.
- 9:05Speaker 8: This season.
- 9:05Speaker 7: Around the NFL, it seems like every team is getting
- 9:08Speaker 7: a dose of this.
- 9:09Speaker 8: But you can't forget.
- 9:11Speaker 7: The fact that the Chargers have missed two All Pros
- 9:15Speaker 7: on the line.
- 9:15Speaker 8: There.
- 9:16Speaker 7: It's hard to come by a great tackle in this league,
- 9:19Speaker 7: as everybody knows, guys that are that big and they're
- 9:22Speaker 7: just few and far between that big and that physical.
- 9:25Speaker 7: And we had two great guys and Joe Alton Rashaun
- 9:27Speaker 7: Slater to lock down both sides of that O line
- 9:30Speaker 7: to protect Justin Herbert, and that all fell apart pretty
- 9:32Speaker 7: quickly this season unfortunately for those guys. So we have
- 9:37Speaker 7: the thirtieth ranked offensive line in the NFL. Now, the
- 9:41Speaker 7: guys that have stepped up and played behind.
- 9:44Speaker 8: The guys that we have lost.
- 9:45Speaker 7: Will tell you that they are not thirtieth in the league,
- 9:47Speaker 7: and I would agree with that. It's a rough assessment,
- 9:50Speaker 7: but that said, thirtieth ranked, and you're still looking at
- 9:53Speaker 7: what Justin Herbert can do.
- 9:56Speaker 8: When you look at what is he, I think they
- 9:59Speaker 8: are their top or they're tied for the top.
- 10:02Speaker 7: When it comes to third down offense, Justin Herbert I
- 10:05Speaker 7: think is second in the league when it comes to
- 10:08Speaker 7: passing yards at quarterback. What he at first, I think
- 10:11Speaker 7: when it comes to rushing yards. So when it comes
- 10:13Speaker 7: to what Justin Herbert can do with anybody protecting him,
- 10:16Speaker 7: it's pretty special.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Have you seen Herbert progress?
- 10:19Speaker 1: Obviously we know he's super talented, but now with kind
- 10:22Speaker 1: of the consistency Harbro's brought to the team, just his
- 10:25Speaker 1: progression even with the injuries around him, but just still
- 10:28Speaker 1: having some targets he trusts in.
- 10:30Speaker 7: Yeah, rookie quarterbacks come into this league and they often
- 10:33Speaker 7: complain I've had sixteen offensive coordinators in three years and
- 10:36Speaker 7: I'm exaggerating, but you know how it goes, and that
- 10:39Speaker 7: was the case for Justin Herbert, and there is some
- 10:41Speaker 7: stability there's just this energy and this culture that's understood
- 10:46Speaker 7: from day one. Hell, when Jim Harbaugh's even on the
- 10:49Speaker 7: plane and hasn't landed, that's how it felt last season
- 10:52Speaker 7: when he and his team came in to coach these guys,
- 10:55Speaker 7: and the stability and the disbelief in his players really
- 10:59Speaker 7: does work.
- 11:00Speaker 8: It goes a long way.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I feel like Hardbass teams are always physical and that's
- 11:04Speaker 1: kind of what they hang their hat on. What have
- 11:06Speaker 1: you seen from the defense so far this season?
- 11:09Speaker 8: That's exactly it.
- 11:10Speaker 7: You know, this defense kind of was trying to figure
- 11:13Speaker 7: out well, they weren't trying to figure out their identity.
- 11:15Speaker 7: They had it, but it wasn't showing up on game day.
- 11:19Speaker 7: Every game. There was not a lot of consistency there.
- 11:22Speaker 7: There were mistackles, and it wasn't because they didn't care.
- 11:26Speaker 7: It was because they were too eager. If you talk
- 11:28Speaker 7: to any of the coaches, that's what they'll say. Everyone
- 11:31Speaker 7: wants to make a big play, Everyone wants on this defense.
- 11:35Speaker 7: And that's what you want as a fan and as
- 11:38Speaker 7: a coach in this league is to have these guys care.
- 11:41Speaker 8: And this defense cares more than anything.
- 11:44Speaker 7: And that's what showed up That's what showed up on
- 11:47Speaker 7: Sunday Night Football when you saw them just dismantle the
- 11:50Speaker 7: Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 11:52Speaker 1: When you're looking at this game against the Jaguars, who
- 11:55Speaker 1: are some X factor players either on either side of
- 11:57Speaker 1: the ball that you're kind of looking at, they need
- 11:59Speaker 1: to have a big game if the Chargeres want to
- 12:00Speaker 1: get a win.
- 12:02Speaker 7: I was really excited about Kamani Videl in running back
- 12:05Speaker 7: position there.
- 12:06Speaker 8: I mean, he was somebody who will.
- 12:08Speaker 7: Tell you if you told him what would be going
- 12:11Speaker 7: on right now with him in this league, on this
- 12:14Speaker 7: team right now at training camp, he would not believe you.
- 12:17Speaker 7: I mean, he was pretty low on the depth chart
- 12:19Speaker 7: and suddenly is thrust into the number one back role
- 12:23Speaker 7: and he has shined and every week, every touch he adds,
- 12:26Speaker 7: each each rep he gets, he proves why he can
- 12:30Speaker 7: absolutely be the number one back. You get that running
- 12:33Speaker 7: game going with Justin Herbert and the protection of that
- 12:37Speaker 7: much better than thirtieth in the league offensive line, and
- 12:41Speaker 7: you get to be more than one dimensional. You know,
- 12:43Speaker 7: you don't force Justin into doing things that make him uncomfortable.
- 12:47Speaker 7: He does have eight interceptions on the season so far,
- 12:51Speaker 7: and some of those are not fair to put underneath
- 12:53Speaker 7: his name, but also you get that run game going.
- 12:56Speaker 7: It opens up the offense wide open where he gets
- 12:59Speaker 7: to make make sure everyone eats. And that's what Justin
- 13:02Speaker 7: Herbert does. When you look at his targets, it's not
- 13:04Speaker 7: just Keenan Allen. In fact, it's not Keenan Allen most
- 13:07Speaker 7: of the time. And that's crazy because Keenan's obviously the
- 13:10Speaker 7: easy go to guy.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Absolutely, we know that name very well and I'm sure
- 13:14Speaker 1: he'll find his way to be involved a bit on Sunday,
- 13:17Speaker 1: but we look forward.
- 13:17Speaker 2: To the matchup. Shannon, thanks so much for joining us.
- 13:19Speaker 8: All right, take care, Nice to see you.

- 14:11Speaker 1: after this Jaguars Chargers game at playoff to twenty twenty
- 14:15Speaker 1: two rematch, hopefully not as dramatic as that. I don't
- 14:18Speaker 1: think my heart can take it at this point, Brian,
- 14:20Speaker 1: what do you think we're gonna say?
- 14:22Speaker 5: I went with one that was pretty wide open, so
- 14:24Speaker 5: I said pressures on, meaning if the Jaguars are going
- 14:27Speaker 5: to win on Sunday, they need josh heinz Allen to
- 14:30Speaker 5: be their highest paid defensive player, which he is.
- 14:33Speaker 4: They need him to be a guy who makes plays.
- 14:36Speaker 5: But since he signs a big contract, it only has
- 14:37Speaker 5: ten sacks and he is a guy that they need
- 14:40Speaker 5: to come through big time.
- 14:42Speaker 4: If he has a big game, they can win.
- 14:44Speaker 5: If he doesn't have a big game, then the pressure's
- 14:46Speaker 5: on him because people are saying you have Herbert here,
- 14:50Speaker 5: where's josh heinz Allen. I kind of expect him to
- 14:53Speaker 5: have a big game, but I think the pressure is
- 14:55Speaker 5: the key. The pressure has got to be on Herbert
- 14:57Speaker 5: and it's got to come from him.
- 14:59Speaker 6: Ye similar way standing tall and I have Trayvon Walker
- 15:03Speaker 6: up there for essentially the same reason. You know, sometimes
- 15:08Speaker 6: the matchups just cry out and say this is what
- 15:10Speaker 6: it is. The Chargers this season can be beat.
- 15:13Speaker 4: If you pressure the quarterback.
- 15:15Speaker 6: That's good news, except the Jaguars having pressured the quarterback,
- 15:18Speaker 6: so it's not good news. But they need to stand
- 15:21Speaker 6: tall in the sense of as we've talked about all week,
- 15:25Speaker 6: the themes are so obvious this week, respond to what
- 15:28Speaker 6: happened last week. You've got to stand tall and say, look,
- 15:32Speaker 6: we're not the team that lost to the Texans. We're
- 15:35Speaker 6: the team that's five and four that's contending. We still
- 15:38Speaker 6: belong in this thing, which they do.
- 15:40Speaker 4: But one more loss and you lost.
- 15:41Speaker 6: Four out of five and people can legitimately say, well,
- 15:44Speaker 6: you're not playing very good right now.
- 15:45Speaker 4: So they have to stand tall. Listen, last week, you
- 15:48Speaker 4: saw it.
- 15:48Speaker 5: I mean, Davis Mills back up quarterback, right, But when
- 15:51Speaker 5: you're down Jordan Lewis and he didn't practice yesterday. Eric
- 15:54Speaker 5: Marie's on injured reserve. Travis Hunter is now on injured reserve.
- 15:57Speaker 5: If you don't get pressure, you were exposing secondary that
- 16:01Speaker 5: just doesn't have enough.
- 16:03Speaker 4: They need help. It's got to come from those two guys.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I'm going against him. I'm saying it's happening. Shock at
- 16:09Speaker 1: the Bank Part two. I think the Jaguars are gonna
- 16:13Speaker 1: find a way to do this, and I don't know
- 16:15Speaker 1: exactly how it's going to look.
- 16:18Speaker 2: On defense.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I think they're gonna have to get some takeaways again,
- 16:20Speaker 1: whether that's the secondary or whether that's through you know,
- 16:23Speaker 1: pressureing a quarterback and forcing him into things he doesn't
- 16:26Speaker 1: want to do. But for me, I think this team
- 16:28Speaker 1: has responded well when they've been down, maybe not responded
- 16:33Speaker 1: well when they've been up, when they're playing really well
- 16:36Speaker 1: and kind of letting that lag. But I think that
- 16:38Speaker 1: we've seen the response so far when they've kind of
- 16:40Speaker 1: had their backs against the wall a little bit. So
- 16:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna stay positive and might keep my
- 16:46Speaker 1: teal glasses on.
- 16:47Speaker 2: I think they're gonna do it again.
- 16:48Speaker 5: I think this is a full crum game. For the
- 16:50Speaker 5: for the the head coach, right, I mean it's balanced
- 16:52Speaker 5: right here. You always knew there was gonna be a guess,
- 16:54Speaker 5: a game like this where you had a really rough
- 16:57Speaker 5: week and you knew there was gonna be a lot
- 16:59Speaker 5: of out side criticism and you had to calm it
- 17:03Speaker 5: all down and it become detached in a sense from
- 17:06Speaker 5: the result last Sunday and focus.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Forward on the opportunity that is there Sunday.
- 17:10Speaker 5: And I just talking to Liam yesterday at one point
- 17:13Speaker 5: after practice, he just he strikes me as the kind of.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Guy who can do this. He's made for this, and
- 17:19Speaker 4: I have a lot of confidence in him.
- 17:20Speaker 6: I think he's made for it. I think he's ready
- 17:22Speaker 6: for it. What you wonder is if the pass rush,
- 17:26Speaker 6: which again is the key matchup, if that can't get home,
- 17:29Speaker 6: it may not matter how ready is for it.
- 17:31Speaker 4: I think it will.
- 17:33Speaker 6: And really what an opportunity.
- 17:34Speaker 4: In this sense.
- 17:36Speaker 6: Yeah, it was an awful game last week, But if
- 17:38Speaker 6: you had to choose going into this two game stretch
- 17:40Speaker 6: which game to win playoff wise, you probably picked the Chargers.
- 17:45Speaker 6: And if you beat them, now you've got wins over
- 17:49Speaker 6: the Chargers and the Chiefs, who are big wild card,
- 17:53Speaker 6: so you can come out of this with a very
- 17:55Speaker 6: clean slate and legitimately say we're right back in it,
- 17:58Speaker 6: and you will be. So if they've been playing a
- 18:02Speaker 6: team not in that situation and you win, I don't
- 18:05Speaker 6: know if you feel that great you win this, you
- 18:06Speaker 6: feel good about you?
- 18:07Speaker 5: Yeah, listen, I know we've said this a couple of
- 18:08Speaker 5: different times, but if you're six and four headed into
- 18:10Speaker 5: the stretch of schedule that includes two against the Titans,
- 18:13Speaker 5: the Jets, and the Cardinals, you're feeling pretty good about
- 18:16Speaker 5: where you're at.
- 18:16Speaker 1: That's a good point to mention where you normally take
- 18:18Speaker 1: such stock and divisional games, But at this point it
- 18:20Speaker 1: might be more if they were to make a playoff push,
- 18:22Speaker 1: it'll be more of a wild card situation.
- 18:23Speaker 6: I'm not saying, ADYE want to be the Textans is
- 18:25Speaker 6: a huge loss, and winning the division always you put
- 18:29Speaker 6: priority on that, but in this case, this would be
- 18:32Speaker 6: a big postseason way.
- 18:34Speaker 1: All right, say with some Jagszam will tell you what's
- 18:36Speaker 1: coming up the rest of the week. Also, we'll look
- 18:37Speaker 1: in on that injury report that came out yesterday. Jags fans,

- 19:08Speaker 7: Oh get up seven right hell, fire's back corner of
- 19:11Speaker 7: the end zone.
- 19:11Speaker 5: That ball is gonna be cut for a touchdown by
- 19:15Speaker 5: Parker Washington.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Oh it's in. What a great job by Parker Washington.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Oh my god, that nasty.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Oh my hey.
- 19:24Speaker 4: And he gave him that at one on one.
- 19:28Speaker 7: And I was like, did it not realist? That realistic?
- 19:31Speaker 7: That I kick that kick that up?
- 19:34Speaker 3: Knock it down? Care little kicks it up, mister o.
- 19:37Speaker 8: So manet in the fifty three.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Yard field goal is good? Cool?
- 19:45Speaker 5: Oh y'all.
- 19:47Speaker 6: Like that ball?
- 19:48Speaker 3: Right to hold that ball?
- 19:49Speaker 1: Hit?
- 19:49Speaker 4: Is he letting go?
- 19:50Speaker 2: And that ball is in com plain nice work in
- 19:52Speaker 2: the secondary.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Boy, that is a bomb of a pine Washington.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Build it at the.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Twenty nine yard line, gets up the field.
- 19:58Speaker 4: O crazy park Oh yeah, punting ruper was this?
- 20:00Speaker 3: Oh my god?
- 20:01Speaker 4: He goes he's gonna bring it back.
- 20:04Speaker 6: Parker Washington touchdown Jacksonville if you call him at what
- 20:08Speaker 6: you call cutting Durns at Parker cold seventy two yards.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Like dump about now check it out on YouTube.
- 20:16Speaker 1: We should break your some narrate everything because we had
- 20:19Speaker 1: Parker Washington m dump. Parker doesn't talk, so we should
- 20:21Speaker 1: have someone else narrate all the cool blooded apparently all
- 20:23Speaker 1: the cool Steffie does it is. Unfortunately, he's also on
- 20:27Speaker 1: the injury report this week, which just popped up yesterday
- 20:29Speaker 1: on Wednesday, a hamstring injury, so not great. When you
- 20:33Speaker 1: hear about wide receiver with a hamstring injury.
- 20:35Speaker 6: John Well and anybody who follows his shows HER's. Hamstring
- 20:40Speaker 6: injury is always one that at someone you get to
- 20:43Speaker 6: test it, yeah, yeah, and you sort of really don't
- 20:46Speaker 6: know until you test it. So I've had people ask
- 20:50Speaker 6: me you think you'll play? You know, I'm not the
- 20:52Speaker 6: ham string, so I don't know. But with the wide
- 20:54Speaker 6: receiver at that position, ham string is always smart to
- 20:58Speaker 6: be tested.
- 20:59Speaker 4: But boy, do you need on the field.
- 21:01Speaker 5: Yeah, did you think we'd get to the point where
- 21:03Speaker 5: we'd say, what what happens with that Parker?
- 21:05Speaker 2: What are we doing right?
- 21:06Speaker 5: I mean, listen, he's become an integral part of what
- 21:08Speaker 5: they do here on offense. So you're asking Jacobi Meyers
- 21:12Speaker 5: in his second game to go to.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Yeah, some other names. Jordan Lewis still not practicing. Anton
- 21:18Speaker 1: Harrison right tackle did not practice yesterday. We'll keep an
- 21:20Speaker 1: eye on that as the week goes along. And but
- 21:23Speaker 1: good news, Brent Strange back to practice the first time
- 21:25Speaker 1: in a month and hopefully ready to go. Maybe a
- 21:27Speaker 1: game time decision, but he looks good.
- 21:28Speaker 6: So far, and if he's right, if he's what he will,
- 21:33Speaker 6: he's an important enough player to counter a lot of
- 21:38Speaker 6: what they're missing. I mean, he's become that important to
- 21:41Speaker 6: this team, maybe the best player on offense overall, maybe
- 21:45Speaker 6: the best player overall.
- 21:46Speaker 1: And someone that can have impact right away. So we'll
- 21:48Speaker 1: keep an eye on that. Enjoy this weekend's game against
- 21:50Speaker 1: the Chargers. Come out and see it if you can,
- 21:52Speaker 1: because it'll be a good one, and then we'll be
- 21:54Speaker 1: back here on Monday to talk about it.
- 21:55Speaker 2: On Jacks am Verty
