Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett, breaking news on one leg Up.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Alex Media reporting right now the killer of Jonathan Diller,
- 0:12Speaker 1: the late NYP detective Jonathan Diller, who fought hard in
- 0:18Speaker 1: the line of duty and who was shot and killed
- 0:24Speaker 1: during a traffic stop. We talked with Long Island Pizza
- 0:27Speaker 1: Strong about his death and the way they were raising
- 0:31Speaker 1: family of funds for his family through the pizza Day. Well,
- 0:36Speaker 1: some major news the killer. I don't want to mention
- 0:40Speaker 1: the guy's name, but the killer of Jonathan Diller sentenced
- 0:44Speaker 1: to life one hundred and fifteen years to life in prison,
- 0:50Speaker 1: and for goodness sake, that's a win. Finally, a judge
- 0:54Speaker 1: does not excuse a cop killer in New York. Finally,
- 0:59Speaker 1: Josh is served for a fallen officer. This is major
- 1:04Speaker 1: and I had a report on it because we've been
- 1:06Speaker 1: seeing some bad crap coming out of the White House
- 1:09Speaker 1: Correspondents Dinner aftermath where the Secret servers had a take
- 1:15Speaker 1: down subdue not kill, but take down thirty one year
- 1:19Speaker 1: old Caltech grat. Another guy I won't mention his name,
- 1:22Speaker 1: but some major news, a bright spot in law enforcement.
- 1:27Speaker 1: We wish detective Diller was here, but the bright spot
- 1:30Speaker 1: is his killer is getting what he deserves. Thrown the
- 1:35Speaker 1: book at him, thrown the book at him. And I'm
- 1:40Speaker 1: sure there's gonna be something of appeals and all this
- 1:43Speaker 1: other stuff, and I'm sure this and the other's gonna
- 1:45Speaker 1: go down. But thankfully a judge did the right thing.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Means said he isn't eligible for a parole until one
- 2:02Speaker 1: hundred and fifty years are served. Thank you, Da Cats
- 2:05Speaker 1: for standing up to the thug and the left who
- 2:10Speaker 1: thinks they shouldn't be jailing these thugs. Thank you for
- 2:14Speaker 1: standing up for the rights of the family, for justice,
- 2:18Speaker 1: for law enforcement. Da Cats. The judge said, your sentenced
- 2:26Speaker 1: to me was when you pulled the trigger. It took
- 2:31Speaker 1: me five minutes to calculate these numbers. It's going to
- 2:34Speaker 1: take you a lifetime to calculate the grief you caused them.
- 2:38Speaker 1: A judge that isn't relaxed on a cop killer. They
- 2:49Speaker 1: did not find him guilty of murder of the jury,
- 2:52Speaker 1: which is weird, but but he was found and guilty
- 3:04Speaker 1: of aggravated manslaughter and overall the calculations are one hundred
- 3:08Speaker 1: and fifteen years to life. A cop killer is going
- 3:13Speaker 1: to jail, and he will not be able to face
- 3:15Speaker 1: the parole board. He will not face the parole board
- 3:20Speaker 1: in his lifetime. In twenty twenty six, a judge, a
- 3:29Speaker 1: district attorney in New York City have the back of
- 3:33Speaker 1: the NiPd through this ruling. I never thought I'd see
- 3:37Speaker 1: it because here in Manhattan d A. Bragg throws out
- 3:41Speaker 1: charges when cops are attacked. Right, thank god for da
- 3:45Speaker 1: cats in Queens. This is a major breaking news at
- 3:51Speaker 1: one look up alex Media because for the last two
- 3:55Speaker 1: days we've heard about the aftermath, the manifesto, the horribleness
- 4:00Speaker 1: of this attempted assassination of President Trump, and the assassin
- 4:06Speaker 1: attempted and the assassin that would be assassin. So in
- 4:15Speaker 1: a very dark weekend, this is a bright spot. We
- 4:21Speaker 1: do wish Detective Diller was here today. We do wish,
- 4:24Speaker 1: We do wish that his family would have their dad,
- 4:28Speaker 1: their husband. The Legal Aid Society says, oh, jury was
- 4:43Speaker 1: prevented from considering important evidence. The guy shot a cop
- 4:47Speaker 1: to death? What evidence do you freaking need. During the
- 4:54Speaker 1: ear of the judge, herd from Diller's widow, Stephanie Today and
- 4:57Speaker 1: his mom, as the widow spoke about her unimagined law
- 5:00Speaker 1: offers in the courtrooms are her crying with their heads
- 5:02Speaker 1: in their hands. Grief is not one moment, It follows
- 5:05Speaker 1: me everywhere. She said, your actions cannot be undone. You
- 5:08Speaker 1: gave me and my son a life sentence. That's what
- 5:12Speaker 1: Stephanie Diller said. Diller's mom said, his death haunts are
- 5:18Speaker 1: every day. I'm glad the family took the stand to
- 5:24Speaker 1: rail against this cop killer. But the heroes today are
- 5:31Speaker 1: the DA cats, the judge, and honestly in spirit, Detective
- 5:37Speaker 1: Diller for his service to this city of New York
- 5:41Speaker 1: through the NYPD. Those are the heroes of the day
- 5:53Speaker 1: and they need to be lauded because in this day
- 6:02Speaker 1: and age, these cop killers, these cop attackers are basically
- 6:07Speaker 1: thrown back on the street. So nothing's wrong here but
- 6:14Speaker 1: one brave DA against all the activists nonsense, did right.
- 6:22Speaker 1: And the judge against all the activist nonsense, did right,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and through the book at this cop killer before you
- 6:36Speaker 1: can ever see a parole board. Now, that decision shows
- 6:46Speaker 1: there are still people, and there are still leaders who
- 6:50Speaker 1: want to have one leg up and judges want to
- 6:53Speaker 1: have one leg up for law enforcement. That's what today's
- 6:56Speaker 1: ruling shows.
