- 0:58I was just talking to Tommy before, before we came back from
- 1:01breaking. I was talking about the coaches
- 1:03and, and getting all the, the, the different things that he
- 1:06would throw on the ice and how long it took us to pick up the
- 1:09stuff after the practices. And I did get the coaches on the
- 1:13ground and one of the tacks did get into, you know, certain
- 1:16parts of the coach's body. So I, and I did get in trouble
- 1:20or so I, I had to do wind sprints for hours.
- 1:23So the coaches hated me. And that's why my nickname was
- 1:25asshole. That was really my nickname.
- 1:27That was sincerely my nickname. So I.
- 1:31I feel like at some point we do have to have like a talk because
- 1:34I've coached for a long time and I've coached kids that were kind
- 1:37of troubled athletes and it feels like you were a troubled
- 1:40athlete. I wasn't troubled.
- 1:42I the come on. I the the coach.
- 1:44Was calling you an asshole your coach?
- 1:46No, that was my that was my nickname.
- 1:48The coach just called me. Hey, my father was the one who
- 1:50told the coach to call me Asshole.
- 1:52So that's what he did. Yo, Asshole.
- 1:54Yeah, I knew it was me when I was sitting the bench.
- 1:57So I mean they would call my line.
- 1:59Practically wheeled you out of a school in a Hannibal Lecter get
- 2:02up straight, jacket, mask at one point in time.
- 2:05That's not, you know, like that's not true.
- 2:08That's never happened. And if anybody.
- 2:10Were a student that's ever come in these halls in 30 years.
- 2:13It's true Missus Posner, it's a true story.
- 2:16My missus Posner went and my father, I'll never forget it.
- 2:20When I was sitting in the office and Missus Posner told my father
- 2:24he is the worst student I've had in 30 years of being a principal
- 2:27of the school. And my father smirked.
- 2:29And then when I got home my father beat the shit out of me.
- 2:31So true story. Anyways, next segment is Dial it
- 2:35Up. This regularly scheduled hot mix
- 2:37to bring an important news. We got a big broadcast to do
- 2:41here. We're about to dial it up.
- 2:46That's. All right, welcome to Dial it
- 2:50Up, everyone's favorite lightning round segment.
- 2:53Errol doesn't know what. Star like anal.
- 2:54So he's going to hear him for the first time along with you,
- 2:57and he's going to dial up a take, starting off with the news
- 3:01today of commanders signing Terry Mclaurin to a three-year
- 3:06contract extension. Yes, three years, 96,000,000 on
- 3:12month earlier today, on Monday, $30 million upfront signing
- 3:17bonus. It'll start not this year, but
- 3:19the following season. Although he did not get the DK
- 3:23Metcalf money that he was hoping for, which would have been in
- 3:27excess of 33 million a season, he got pretty close to that
- 3:32deal. He was with last year's
- 3:35Offensive Rookie of the year, Jaden Daniels.
- 3:36He put up a career year fifth straight 1000 yard season out of
- 3:41six seasons. He was only at like 900
- 3:43something in his rookie year, so almost 6000 yards to start the
- 3:47year and a career high 13 touchdowns.
- 3:51He had been a Holden at camp. This new strategy, not holding
- 3:55out, but showing up the camp and doing nothing.
- 3:57Showing that you want to be there, but not being there.
- 4:01We've talked about this last couple of weeks.
- 4:03Time for you to. Dial it.
- 4:06I love this move. I think Terry Mclaurin is one of
- 4:09the more underrated wide receivers in the NFL right now.
- 4:11Jaden Daniels second year as a sophomore player, he is going to
- 4:15need his number 1 weapon. I think they're going to be
- 4:17explosive. You give him Debo I I, they're
- 4:21going to they're going to be so explosive in so many different
- 4:23ways. Jaden Daniels and a sophomore
- 4:25you, you need your number one guy.
- 4:26And here's the thing. When you look at Terry Mclaurin,
- 4:29what he does very, very well, he's a team leader and he goes
- 4:32out there, he doesn't dance and prance around like some of these
- 4:34wide receivers. He goes out there and plays the
- 4:36game and he plays the game hard. And this guy is one of the more
- 4:39elusive wide receivers right now in the NFL.
- 4:42It's a slam dunk, 3 year, $96 million.
- 4:45I think it's it's everything you want from a star wide receiver.
- 4:48And he's still fairly young. He's 28, going to be 29 years
- 4:51old. He still has a lot of time left
- 4:53to really be an explosive player for Jaden Daniels for the next
- 4:56three or four years. Yeah, they need this to work
- 4:59for, like you said, the leadership perspective and also
- 5:01for the fact that they don't really have another big body
- 5:03receiver on that team. You look at Cliff Kingsbury's
- 5:05offense, as they've always had more of those like shifty slot
- 5:08types over the years, but they've always had at least one
- 5:11big body guy that could be that possession guy.
- 5:12And Mclaurin's obviously a lot better than that too, with his
- 5:15route running, with his possession.
- 5:17And I love, always love, especially with receiver deals
- 5:20and other positions to make a lot of money starting the deal
- 5:22the next year. That means you give us a lot
- 5:24more cap flexibility to make a trade as well for contending
- 5:26team like the Commanders. I think it's a brilliant move on
- 5:29many facets. You get the leadership you need
- 5:30in there too, and you make it where it's not going to be a
- 5:33regular season holdout saga for a team that has a lot of
- 5:35expectations. Huge amount of expectations and
- 5:39Debo is a great addition. You have two now.
- 5:42You have a number one and a number 2 and, and Debo's going
- 5:44to be used as a as a prototype running back as well.
- 5:47So this is going to be very interesting to see how Dan Quinn
- 5:51is going to run his offense. Terry Mclaurin is the number one
- 5:53option. Debo's going to be #2 And now
- 5:56that they lost Brian Robertson junior, who's going to be there
- 5:58#3 so it's going to be interesting.
- 6:01All right, let's move on to the next story going to baseball
- 6:06everybody. Well, you said it earlier today,
- 6:10Cal Raleigh is the new catcher home run.
- 6:13King broke the single season record home runs by a primary
- 6:18catcher in a season with his 48th tying it and 49th home run
- 6:22and two Homer game on Sunday versus the A's.
- 6:25That broke Salvador Perez's record of 48 home runs only set
- 6:30about four years ago in 2021. Raleigh took a curtain call as
- 6:34his historic season continues is on pace currently to break Aaron
- 6:38Judges American League single season record of 60 two home
- 6:42runs. Raleigh's hitting 247 with now
- 6:44fifty home runs 100. I guess the RBI's are more than
- 6:47106. Fourteen stolen bases, 945 OPS,
- 6:52167 OPS plus tied with Aaron Judge with 7.3 WAR on the
- 7:00season. Raleigh is an excellent defender
- 7:03and pulled into a tie with Judge for this year's ALMVP race.
- 7:09Errol. I absolutely think he's the MVP
- 7:13right now of the league. Aaron Judge going down the way
- 7:16he did and being out as long as he was in and it was 2 1/2
- 7:19weeks, 3 weeks, and now he's a bona fide DH.
- 7:22This guy is an everyday player who's going to be a catcher.
- 7:25He's the leader on the field for the Seattle Mariners A-Team
- 7:28that's going to be a playoff team and if they're having a
- 7:30great season, he is. He's a perfect player when you
- 7:34come, when it comes to a catcher and a leader that can put up the
- 7:37point, put up the numbers, put up the runs and actually show
- 7:41people what he's done all season long.
- 7:43He's he, he won the home run. Well, did he win the Home Run
- 7:46Derby? I think he won the home run.
- 7:48He won the Home Run Derby and he's showing you why a catcher
- 7:51is so very important, not just as an offensive player, but as a
- 7:55defensive player. The guy's the MVP of the
- 7:58American League. There's no question that he is
- 8:00and he's done it consistently all season long and I don't
- 8:03think he's done. I think he's going to put up
- 8:04fifty home runs and is going to have an opportunity maybe even
- 8:08break sixty home runs before the seasons end.
- 8:10I think this is one of the best seasons we've ever seen a
- 8:12catcher have not only just offensively, defensively, 247 as
- 8:16a catcher sensational year to, I believe, the American League
- 8:20MVP. Yeah, I think just what he's
- 8:24done at that position to, you know, not only to stay healthy,
- 8:29first and foremost, as tough as a catcher just in general, and
- 8:31to go out and have the production that he's had.
- 8:34And he's had a little bit Lowe's.
- 8:35But I mean, if you look at it, he's still got, you know,
- 8:38basically a week left of August and all of September and he's
- 8:41got 50. He's on pace for 6263.
- 8:44I've seen both. But and it's it's everybody's
- 8:48going to be like, oh, what are they going to do with, you know,
- 8:52giving an MVP to somebody that, you know, is only hitting
- 8:56whatever it is? Do they take value on that?
- 8:59What is Judge doing? I think right now it's it's if
- 9:03you look at the betting side, it's still kind of Judge is
- 9:06still kind of in the lead. But if he goes and and does half
- 9:10of what he's done, this stretch, I think you got to kind of give
- 9:14it to. Every, every, every pitch.
- 9:18He's in every single play. Yeah, he's in every single play.
- 9:21It's not like in Judge and right field.
- 9:23I love Judge. Judge is in right field.
- 9:25He might not get a ball the whole game.
- 9:27He might get one ball the whole game.
- 9:28Cal Rally's playing every single play, play, every pitch stone.
- 9:33He's in it. He's calling pitchers, he's
- 9:34commanding a staff. He's doing it defensively, he's
- 9:37doing it offensively. Won the Home Run Derby, by the
- 9:39way. His dad threw in that game,
- 9:41which is kind of cool. Probably special moment for
- 9:43them. He hit 33 homers by June.
- 9:46He passed Johnny Bench for the most homers by a catcher in a
- 9:50season before they all start break.
- 9:52The guy is incredible. He's having a great year.
- 9:54What he means to that team, he's everything to that team.
- 9:57If he goes down, who they have to command a staff like that,
- 10:01Who they who, who's going to fill it now?
- 10:03Judge goes down. The Yankees are not playing well
- 10:05anyways, but Judge goes down and they can the Martian, they can
- 10:10belly out there. They can whoever else they got
- 10:14Grissom or whatever. Like, I mean, there's plenty of
- 10:16people that they, you know, not saying that they can produce
- 10:18what Aaron Judge is doing, but they might get 3 or 4 bats a
- 10:21game and they might get one or two balls where Cal Raleigh's
- 10:24getting a hundred 200 pitches a game and then four bats every
- 10:27night. I'd like to see what they end up
- 10:30doing for the MVP. It's going to be, it's going to
- 10:33be, you know, it's going to come down to the wire.
- 10:35But you can't discredit what he's doing as like.
- 10:37I think the, the fact that Cal has played all season long, like
- 10:41you said, and Judge was out for a significant amount of time,
- 10:45for 2 1/2 weeks and he's not playing in the outfield.
- 10:48I'm, I'm going to go and give it to Cal.
- 10:51I think Cal deserves it. And he's a catcher.
- 10:52He's playing the hardest position or one of the hardest
- 10:55positions to play in professional baseball.
- 10:56And he's, he's really taking control of that bullpen and that
- 11:00that pitching staff. So I think he's everything you
- 11:04want as as a star player and he's he's sensational.
- 11:07He's had a great year. Dude, what people don't realize
- 11:09is like catchers make a world of a difference for pitchers.
- 11:12If you have a guy who can actually catch and frame pitches
- 11:15and who can like, you know that they have some thought process
- 11:18behind the the fingers they're throwing down, that makes a
- 11:20world of a difference. I mean, just a quick little
- 11:23tidbit, like my ERA with Roberto Perez with like a one something
- 11:27my ERA with young Gomes is like a five.
- 11:29That makes a difference. Guys like throwing to him.
- 11:31He's good. I.
- 11:32Mean some guys have personal catchers for a reason.
- 11:35Exactly. And they don't have to be, they
- 11:37don't have to be the best catcher, but it's just something
- 11:39like Jose. Just click, just click and it
- 11:42seems like he's clicking with the whole staff.
- 11:44Not only is he doing that, but he's get the shit out of the
- 11:47ball this year so. Boise, Ever.
- 11:49It's for lack of a better term. I mean, but also too, are they
- 11:54going to overlook batting average or what they going to
- 11:56do? They've given MVPS with lower.
- 12:00Co MVP, right? They've done MVP and Co MVP, but
- 12:06you talk about Most Valuable Player like how do you not give
- 12:09it to a guy who's playing every single pitch?
- 12:12He's in every single pitch and. He's, let's see, people are
- 12:16going to argue with that on Goody.
- 12:17How do you give a pitcher the MVP?
- 12:18No, I agree with that. That's tough.
- 12:20It's very tough. But then again, what is his war?
- 12:24I don't know what his war is versus judges war Speedy
- 12:27they're. Identical.
- 12:28They're identical. They're identical.
- 12:30There you go. And Judges is falling off
- 12:32because he's been D aging when he's been back.
- 12:35That's why he's not got in the right field.
- 12:36I mean, Judge has been incredible, Judge.
- 12:38Has been a league average right fielder this year.
- 12:41He hasn't added any value defensively.
- 12:43Obviously when you're Ding, they counted against you defensively
- 12:47in those metrics, which probably isn't fair.
- 12:50But Raleigh, look, he's only hit in 247.
- 12:53It's the only stat that he's not crushing it in.
- 12:55He's a catcher. Only stat he's a catcher that.
- 12:58That being said, Judge hit 400 until the end of May this year.
- 13:01Not how you start is how you. No, I agree.
- 13:04Judge gets like a few hot weeks at the end of the season and the
- 13:06numbers are just going to look so lopsided in his favor that
- 13:09they're going to give it to him. But if he doesn't, it can go to
- 13:12it can go to Raleigh, but you get you can't discount the the
- 13:152-3 months that were just the the most dominant player
- 13:20stretch. That we've seen ever.
- 13:21Ever. Yeah, you can't.
- 13:24Do it. Let's move on.
- 13:25It's. A long ass season, you got to do
- 13:26it for the whole season. Yeah, it's tough, man.
- 13:29It's hard to stay healthy. Judge was going great until you
- 13:31ran into that brick wall in the Dodgers bullpen.
- 13:34Too kind. Of that was his toe, wasn't it?
- 13:38His toe. Yeah, his toe.
- 13:39Never the same. Oh, this made me so happy,
- 13:41Errol. The Giants 3 amigos eat the West
- 13:47after going 3 and O in the preseason.
- 13:49Yeah, that's who it is. The three amigos, Jameis Jackson
- 13:53and Tommy Cutlets. Tommy Cutlets, they haven't.
- 13:58Giants fans haven't had a lot to be excited about in recent
- 14:01years, but after an electric 3 and O preseason, even the backup
- 14:06QBs have the fans buzz. Yes, the Giants won against the
- 14:10New England Patriots and blow out fashion once again in the
- 14:13preseason. Jackson Dart.
- 14:14Tommy DeVito joined Jameis Winston on the field for his Eat
- 14:18the W celebration as he was doing I guess like a Facebook
- 14:22live stream or an Instagram live stream, whatever and coined them
- 14:26the three amigos. Well, despite the good vibes, at
- 14:29least one of these amigos will not make the team, and it won't
- 14:31be Jackson Dart. Is this the start arrow of a
- 14:35special season for Big Blue, or is this just some preseason
- 14:40posturing? Dial it on, Tommy.
- 14:44Cut piss. That's what I call him.
- 14:46The guy's an idiot. An absolute joke.
- 14:49Thank God we won't have to see him on this roster this coming
- 14:52year. Jameis Winston's making the
- 14:54roster. I he there's no doubt about it.
- 14:57He's going to help Jackson Dart develop as a quarterback and I
- 15:00think his personality and what he does on and off the field is
- 15:03definitely going to help the development of a guy like
- 15:06Jackson Dart who's more of a quiet down to earth type of
- 15:09person. But you saw you got a chance to
- 15:11see his personality, what he can do on a football field.
- 15:14He's exciting to watch. He can make every single throw.
- 15:17He can move inside and out of the pocket.
- 15:19I, I think Joe Shane hit home run on this pic.
- 15:22I, I was very surprised when they moved up to get him, But
- 15:25you're, you're getting a chance to get to know him as a Family
- 15:28Guy. The the back end about him and
- 15:30his mom in a connection that he has with his mom and, and it's
- 15:33just, it's unique. It's something that you never
- 15:36seen a Giants quarterback have over the years.
- 15:38If you look at Jeff Hostetler, he was a very quiet guy.
- 15:40Even Phil Simms, as much as everybody liked him, he was more
- 15:43of quiet. Eli Manning, quiet guy.
- 15:45Jackson Dart is not a quiet guy. He's a fun, athletic type of
- 15:50personality. And he he kind of shows that on
- 15:52a football field and he brings that out when he plays and he's
- 15:55doing all these crazy things when he scores a touchdown,
- 15:58jumping up with neighbors and Janson and Branson around with
- 16:02Jameis Winston and taking pictures with Johnny.
- 16:04Cut ass or cut some cheese. You know that everything about
- 16:10everything about Jackson Dart, you have to like.
- 16:12I think he's going to be a good player.
- 16:13I think the Giants have something with him.
- 16:15The question is this season, not really.
- 16:18I think this team is going to be up and down all season long.
- 16:21They're in a division with Washington and Philadelphia and
- 16:25the Cowboys are going to be a lot better than people think
- 16:27they're going to be. So I I think you're going to be,
- 16:30you're going to Giant fans are not going to be as happy as much
- 16:33as they think they're going to be with this team.
- 16:36But they have Dexter Lawrence. So it's something fun to watch
- 16:39this year. We got Abdul Carter.
- 16:42We've got Dexter. Lawrence, we'll have to see if
- 16:44Abdul's gonna. And don't sleep on Brian Burns,
- 16:47who's the top 10 edge rusher in this league.
- 16:49OK. We're gonna be doing a lot.
- 16:52Yeah, eating the WS, you'll be eating a lot.
- 16:55Of say this. You're gonna be eating a lot of
- 16:56cheese. You're gonna be eating a lot of.
- 16:58James yeah, you could say that, but your team's gonna suck.
- 17:00So sorry. Really, they're gonna be better
- 17:02than the Giants. They're gonna be better than the
- 17:04Giants I. Don't think so?
- 17:05Go bet on it. They're gonna be better.
- 17:07Than the Giants. I don't think Justin Fields is
- 17:09good. Are we doing another bet here?
- 17:11No, we have to figure out though, that the first one
- 17:13first. But look, I always want to say
- 17:15something about Jameis Winston. Look, we know he's not a great
- 17:17quarterback. We know he's a crazy player.
- 17:20He's going to throw just as many picks as touchdowns.
- 17:23He's going to be the 3030 guy. He's going to get everyone's
- 17:26going to have fun playing because he's throwing it up
- 17:28every time and he's just pure joy.
- 17:30He might be the best teammate there is.
- 17:34Oh, stop. What?
- 17:35What? Are we really believing this?
- 17:37No, I'm what? Why is that not true?
- 17:39I don't. How is that not true?
- 17:40Everybody loves this guy. Yeah, he's universally loved.
- 17:44I guarantee you he gets his. Own Why does he?
- 17:46Why? Because he steals.
- 17:47Crap. Why?
- 17:48Because he's a crazy. Because he's he's.
- 17:50Playing with himself in an Uber backed seat and and getting
- 17:53himself into trouble. That was like 15.
- 17:55Years Oh come on please 15 years ago was a.
- 17:58You were you were on stage with DJ Daddy over in.
- 18:01First of all, first of all, it was not, and it was probably
- 18:05about 5 or 6 years ago when he got caught.
- 18:07In the league for over a decade. I'm just saying it happened in
- 18:10Uber, it happened when he was in Tampa.
- 18:12He's. Matured.
- 18:13He's found God and he. Eats lots of W He eats a lot of
- 18:18crab legs. He eats a lot of crab legs.
- 18:21Well, he might not pay for him either, but either way, let's
- 18:23move on to Chinese Taipei, Taiwan, the state of Nevada,
- 18:30which is a Las Vegas team to win its first international
- 18:33championship since 1996. Lean Chintza allowed only one
- 18:39and that's the correct way to pronounce it allowed only one
- 18:42hit in five innings against Nevada in the seven nothing win
- 18:44his first US loss in the international game since 2017 to
- 18:48when they lost to Japan. Lean who also had a three run
- 18:51triple hit over 80 miles an hour multiple times in the game and
- 18:55they only stand 46 feet away arrow not 60 feet.
- 18:58So it looks like that guy's got like the best arm extension of
- 19:02all time when he's just a kid throwing a lot closer.
- 19:05So it's coming at you real fast. They only allowed three runs the
- 19:08entire Little League World Series.
- 19:10Also Venezuela in A73 win. It just gave me these memories.
- 19:15Errol and I, you're old enough to remember it, Jabba.
- 19:18You remember Danny Almonte when he was, they said he was the
- 19:23right age, but he was just throwing harder than everybody
- 19:26and they shut everybody out. I'm sure everything was fine and
- 19:31above board on this one. Good for them.
- 19:35Time for you to tell us what you think about this Little League
- 19:37World Series, Errol, when you dial it up.
- 19:41That's an incredible story. It's great to see how great
- 19:45baseball is worldwide and you get a chance to see some of the
- 19:48best young stars all over the world, China, Japan, We see all
- 19:52these great players coming into the major leagues now and
- 19:55dominating. As we talk about Shay Otani, if
- 19:58he's not getting himself into trouble or betting scandals or
- 20:01whatever the hell he's doing, he's he's a great sensational
- 20:03player and and the fact. That Chinese, Chinese
- 20:07organization or Chinese club wins the Little League World
- 20:12Series. It says a lot about the growth
- 20:14of baseball worldwide. You see it in Puerto Rico,
- 20:16Dominican Republic, you see it right now in Mexico, all these
- 20:20Mexican leagues right now. I think it's a great story.
- 20:22Congratulations. And I'm hoping in the long run,
- 20:26we're going to see baseball just grow not only here but
- 20:29worldwide, in many other countries that we never even
- 20:32heard of. Yeah, no, it's I, I mean goody,
- 20:37I think you can probably agree. It's I wouldn't call it real
- 20:40baseball, but it's fun to watch just to see the in the in the
- 20:44growth. And it's it's fun to see the
- 20:47energy because it it makes you a kid again, even though, you
- 20:50know, we're we're playing a kids game.
- 20:52Sometimes we get wrapped up in the business part of it, but
- 20:54just, you know, seeing the sportsmanship and just the
- 20:57camaraderie and like, you know, just seeing all the big leaguers
- 21:00that actually played in it, you know, and, and how it starts
- 21:04here. And then, you know, being able
- 21:06to, I think Jason Varitek, I'd have to double check this, but
- 21:10is the only one to play in the Little League World Series, the
- 21:13College World Series and the big League World Series and to win a
- 21:16game. I think he's like, there's been
- 21:18people that done it, but he wanted all of them.
- 21:20So it's just it's really cool to see how much the game is growing
- 21:24and to see, I mean, shoot, Nebraska almost got there.
- 21:27We got beat by South Dakota. So it's just it's fun to support
- 21:31your regions and all the other stuff.
- 21:32And I think it's it's really good for baseball.
- 21:35I. Think it's great.
- 21:36It's great to watch. Yeah, Little League's fun.
- 21:39I remember being Little League All Stars, super fun.
- 21:41You always wanted to play, so you just get to skip school
- 21:44first couple, everybody gets to watch on TV.
- 21:47Congrats to the Chinese Taipei. It's a shine a bright spot on
- 21:53them and with all the turmoil going on in their country right
- 21:56now, so Congrats to them. I didn't really watch any of the
- 22:00Lily World Series, to be completely honest with you, but
- 22:03I did scroll through Instagram or Twitter and saw one of the
- 22:07the pitching coach come out and give a, a mound visit.
- 22:09Tell him that, you know, all the heat's been on you and I want
- 22:12I'm going to do the heat's on me this time.
- 22:14And he was miked up and everything.
- 22:15So it was cool to see the mound visits to me are always the
- 22:18coolest because you know, you, you just being as a, you know,
- 22:23as a coach, coaching my son and then you know, job of coaching
- 22:27your son. It's, it's nice to see how other
- 22:29people go out there and when they make a Mount visitor, when
- 22:33they coach their kids and how they, how they talk because it's
- 22:36it, it's, it really means something to the kids, whether,
- 22:40you know, I mean something to the parents too, but it really
- 22:42means something to the kids. It's just really, it's cool to
- 22:44see. And baseball is, you know, it is
- 22:46global. So, you know, you talk about
- 22:49wanting to see baseball expand. I think it is expanding.
- 22:52And, and there's also a game that you should look up called
- 22:55Baseball Five that is fairly new, but you basically learn
- 22:59baseball in like 10 minutes. I also heard that, you know,
- 23:02Saudi, Saudi Arabia, Arabia is one of the biggest known
- 23:06countries with a lot of money. They're starting to make Little
- 23:10League and, and baseball leagues out there in Saudi Arabia.
- 23:13So it's great. You're seeing that the MLB is
- 23:15trying to spread and and you're watching Chinese and Japanese
- 23:19teams. In Dubai right now, Dubai has
- 23:21their own league where they're getting a lot of XMLB players
- 23:24that go over there and they're paying them decent amount of
- 23:26money to go play. They they asked me to play in
- 23:28the inaugural. Yeah, like, like there you go.
- 23:31And you can make a little bit of coin, but they have a lot of ex
- 23:34big leaguers and they're starting to get into a lot of
- 23:36there's a lot of money over there.
- 23:37So they're throwing money into the stadiums and and the, you
- 23:41know, obviously the teams and and whatnot.
- 23:44So it'd be cool to see what happens there.
- 23:45I think Barry Larkin's a part of that.
- 23:47Robinson Chirinos I know is Pablo Sandoval.
- 23:49There's a bunch of guys over there you.
- 23:52Know Pablo Sandoval, another guy with a famous nickname, Kung Fu
- 23:54Panda. Yeah, I play with him in Mexico.
- 23:57I got some stories to tell you. All fair, I'm sure.
- 23:59To hear some of those Jabba 3 guys ever played in the World
- 24:03Series trifecta Little League College in MLB, you said 1 Jason
- 24:08Varitek, Michael Conforto, Ed Vosper, who played in the 1980
- 24:15College World Series. That's it.
- 24:17Last one last story. Oh, and we are going to go to
- 24:22professional wrestling where there was a real assault.
- 24:27Raja Jackson assaulted a pro wrestler named Psycho Stew.
- 24:32You saw this video. I'm glad.
- 24:34You saw it. It's.
- 24:36Crazy, pretty crazy. Basically what happened is they
- 24:39were working in angle earlier in the day where psycho Stew like
- 24:43threw a beer at him and they were supposed to have, you know,
- 24:47Raja Jackson, the son of MMA Hall of Famer Rampage Jackson
- 24:53was supposed to come in and, you know, just, you know, beat him
- 24:56and then, you know, take go away and get some heat on the crowd.
- 24:59But instead, Raja Jackson apparently took it personally
- 25:03and then got on top of him and threw 20 real fists plus at his
- 25:09face and knocked him out cold. He's in the hospital.
- 25:13He's OK, they say and fine. Rampage Jackson commented on
- 25:18social media saying I do not I he probably should have.
- 25:21Raja didn't say anything, but he certainly did.
- 25:24I don't condone my son's actions at all.
- 25:26He suffered A concussion from sparring only days ago and had
- 25:30no business doing anything remotely close to physical
- 25:34contact. As a father, I'm deeply
- 25:36concerned with his health and the well-being a Mr. Smith.
- 25:41That being said, I'm very upset that any of this happened, but
- 25:44my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy
- 25:47recovery. I apologize on his behalf and to
- 25:50kick for the situation, whatever that means.
- 25:55Errol. Dial it up.
- 25:58I love Rampage Jackson. He's very well respected in the
- 26:01MMA world. He's a great person.
- 26:03I really everything that he's done for mixed martial arts from
- 26:07PRIDE to go into the UFC and being one of the faces of the
- 26:10UFC over the last 20 years. His son Raja, I don't know much
- 26:16about him, but I watched the video That was just absolutely
- 26:18disgraceful. You're gonna now Rampage did not
- 26:21make any excuse that he had a concussion or brain trauma.
- 26:25But to come out there and I I understand I would have just put
- 26:28up a pose saying I want to apologize to the Smith family.
- 26:32I hope I hope he has a speedy recovery.
- 26:34That's what he should have said, but to come out and say that his
- 26:37son obviously had a brain trauma or head trauma just says that
- 26:41there's some kind of excuse here.
- 26:43Your son went out there on national television or whatever
- 26:48the national video and almost killed this guy.
- 26:51If this guy wasn't the size that he was, he would have killed
- 26:54him. If it was Speedy.
- 26:56If he wailed on Speedy like that the way he did, Speedy would
- 26:59have been dead. So it just absolutely putrid
- 27:03what he did to this kid, this guy and and honestly, ramping, I
- 27:10should put this guy into a straitjacket or something.
- 27:13I don't know what the hell happened to his son, but his son
- 27:15went absolutely nuts. Buck Wild wrestling is fake.
- 27:19Everybody knows it's a storyline to do something like that and go
- 27:23out there and put yourself out there on national television and
- 27:27do that. I I mean, embarrassing,
- 27:29absolutely embarrassing. And honestly, if if this guy
- 27:33thought he had a mixed martial arts career, I don't know if if
- 27:36the UFC is even going to take a chance with this guy after what
- 27:39he just did. So a horrible story.
- 27:41I got to give Rampage Jackson a little bit credit because he
- 27:43went out there and he spoke for the fan, spoke for his family
- 27:46and the other and the Smith family.
- 27:48But disgraceful what that just happened on and and by the way,
- 27:52it was on national television in that, you know, in that area
- 27:56where it happened. So it was horrible to watch.
- 27:59So. Yeah, I want to just focus on
- 28:01one. Part 2 of it is just that.
- 28:02The fact is is that this was of course an independent wrestling
- 28:06company, not very high profile. That's that's why it's very
- 28:09independent scene owned by of course that would be Hall of
- 28:12Famer rikishi. However, one thing that I want
- 28:15to point out is just the fact is, is that fish mentioned it
- 28:18earlier. The fact is there's trying to be
- 28:19an angle blade. A beer was thrown at at Raja.
- 28:23And not to mention nobody also talks about the part that he
- 28:26also apologized to him. He apologized.
- 28:27He saw he got a little too, too serious about it.
- 28:30He said, oh, I apologize, you know, this and that.
- 28:32And Roger looked like he was completely fond with it.
- 28:35However, he was, of course, just bottling it up, waiting for them
- 28:38to get in the ring and do his moment where it was supposed to
- 28:40be a planned event where he got in there slammed in and whatnot.
- 28:44And of course, like fish set through 20 real hand makers.
- 28:47Here's what, here's the thing with that.
- 28:48Yeah, when you go to these events, and I'm not sure who's
- 28:50actually gone to these events or these Indian events or how often
- 28:54people that might have gone or whatnot.
- 28:56These are like regular people in their communities and their
- 28:58regular local communities that people from their jobs, people
- 29:02from. I heard this guy was a former,
- 29:04was it a firefighter or Army veteran of some sort?
- 29:07You know, they invite people from their jobs.
- 29:09These are veteran. Yeah, a former veteran.
- 29:11They invite people from their jobs, people in their
- 29:13communities, their neighbors, their families, their friends.
- 29:16And for Roger not to even think of that in that situation and
- 29:19just only to get his. All he saw was red in that sense
- 29:21and only just decided to completely wail into the guy to
- 29:24the point that he almost could have killed him.
- 29:26You know, it's very embarrassing to have someone as your family,
- 29:29as your friend going to go watch a wrestling event like that.
- 29:31And I think he should be in jail for what he's done.
- 29:34Honestly, if you, if it was anybody else, if it was Speedy
- 29:37or somebody lighter than the guy that he was punching out, he
- 29:41would have killed him. And another thing he.
- 29:42Would I think he knocked him out?
- 29:43I just watched the video. Yeah, he knocked.
- 29:45Him out. Definitely.
- 29:46Knocked when he slammed him down.
- 29:48Oh yeah, another Alabama slam. Another part of that too is that
- 29:51apparently he was choking on his teeth in that, in that where we
- 29:54couldn't see. So that goes to show.
- 29:55How? Oh my God.
- 29:56How hard he was actually hitting him.
- 29:58And the thing that also bothers me too, I get that, and
- 30:00everybody was kind of in shock, but nobody really stops him
- 30:03right away. It doesn't take until one guy
- 30:04kind of pushes him in the corner to realize like everybody starts
- 30:07getting in the way. They of course get the man,
- 30:09Stuart Smith up and whatnot. Yeah, but he, if you saw they
- 30:13had like five guys hold him down, he was going after him.
- 30:16He was still going after him. When he knows wrestling is fake,
- 30:20he knows it was part of the whole show and he's going his
- 30:23wailing on this guy, beating the hell out of this guy.
- 30:27It was embarrassing. And I, like I said, I give
- 30:29Rampage Jackson a lot of credit that he went out there.
- 30:32It's just the way he said it. He was making an excuse in some
- 30:36kind of way for his son, saying that oh, his son got hit in the
- 30:40head a little too many times. He had a concussion 3 days ago
- 30:44so he's going to beat this guy to death.
- 30:46That was an excuse. He had a concussion 3 days ago,
- 30:48yeah. Are you kidding me?
- 30:50Yeah. It doesn't make sense.
- 30:51There's. No place for that in a
- 30:52professional matter, no whether you're wrestling or in an MMA
- 30:55fighter. The LA police are looking into
- 30:58it. As oh, and he's going, he's
- 31:00going to get arrested. There's no he's.
- 31:01Already arrested. He's already.
- 31:02No, no, no, no. I'm saying he's going to get,
- 31:04he's going to get, he's going to do jail time, right?
- 31:07He's going to have to. I mean, the guy like you were
- 31:10saying, I heard that he knocked out his front, his front teeth.
- 31:13He's his. Why his his jaws going to be rot
- 31:16wired shut. I mean, the guy just completely
- 31:19pulverized him so. In wrestling, they call that
- 31:22going into business for yourself when you just want to beat
- 31:25somebody up because of some perceived slight.
- 31:28The only one, Tommy, that I can remember that was similar.
- 31:31That was like nationally televised when Brock Lesnar like
- 31:34threw the elbows at Randy Orton's head.
- 31:37And because apparently that was something real.
- 31:38And then Chris Jericho literally tried to fight Brock Lesnar
- 31:41probably wouldn't went well for Jericho.
- 31:42Probably not, but. That was, you know, that was
- 31:45horrible to anybody that's seen it and you could go check it
- 31:48out. It is horrible to watch and it
- 31:51just shows you that these guys, these mixed martial artists and
- 31:54I'm not, and Jake, you know all about it.
- 31:56And, and, and I've been training my, I've trained a long, long
- 31:59time with some of these great mixed martial artists, wrestlers
- 32:02and, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu artists.
- 32:05When you go out there, when things are happening, you, you
- 32:08have to learn how to control yourself and you know that your,
- 32:13your, your hands are trained to, to kill.
- 32:16And, and when he went out there, his father's one of the greatest
- 32:20stand up fighters in mixed martial arts history.
- 32:23And, and he got a chance to train with his father for years
- 32:26and to go out there and embarrass his family and his
- 32:29father the way he did makes him look really, really bad.
- 32:33And, and to me, if, if I'm a mixed martial artist like him
- 32:37and I want to get into the UFCI would, if I was Dana White, I
- 32:40would never even think about bringing this guy to the mixed
- 32:43martial arts world, especially how, how, what his last name is
- 32:48and, and what he just did to this guy.
- 32:50This, this, this army vet who probably just went out there to
- 32:54have a little bit of fun and just got his teeth knocked out,
- 32:57his jaw shut and almost got killed by a guy that's bigger
- 33:01and stronger than he is. So it was embarrassing.
- 33:04I think the UFC need to keep these guys away from mixed
- 33:08martial arts and the fighting world, combat sport.
- 33:10It's, it's, it doesn't fit in this in this day of age.
- 33:13So I, I think it's horrible. It's a horrible story, terrible
- 33:17to watch disgusting and and rampage should not be making as
- 33:21much as I love you rampage. I if you ever if you listen to
- 33:24the show, you don't go out there and and make excuses that your
- 33:27son might have a concussion. Don't say that.
- 33:29It it it's it's horrible what your son did and you should just
- 33:33say that it was horrible. I apologize to the Smith family.
- 33:36That should have never happened. So that's it.
- 33:39Anyways, our final segment of the night is what set smell.
- 33:42Hold up. What is that smell?
- 33:45What's right? Wow, you don't see that every
- 33:53day. It's been a great show, ladies
- 33:55and gentlemen. I want to tell everybody, I
- 33:56don't know if everybody saw that story, Michael, that Michael
- 33:58Jordan, Kobe Bryant card that just sold for almost $13.8
- 34:04million. The guy bought it for $25,000,
- 34:08$25,000 and he sold the car for the card for $13.8 million.
- 34:14It is ridiculous that story ridiculous story.
- 34:18I I could you imagine that you buy a card at.
- 34:21AI was I was saving that up. I thought one that you were
- 34:24going to take that for this right here.
- 34:25No, no, I, I had to say it. It's I've, no, I have another
- 34:29story that I want to get into, but that story is crazy, man
- 34:3325,000 dollars, $13.8 million for a baseball card, a
- 34:40basketball card with Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant signing
- 34:43it. It's great.
- 34:44I would have been better goodies if Charizard was on that card
- 34:47too right now. He needs his mute too.
- 34:50Then it goes to 20 million if it's the first edition, sorry
- 34:53about it. Goody needs his mute too.
- 34:56Goody, that will set you and your family up for life $13.8
- 34:59million. 13.8. 13.8 I'm chilling.
- 35:03Wow, for a baseball card? Give me a break anyways, so if
- 35:07anybody doesn't know the this segment, it's pretty simple.
- 35:10We're going to go around in a circle and we're going to tell
- 35:13you a story and we're going to tell you what it smells like.
- 35:15So we're going to go Tommy, speedy fish, goody Jabba me.
- 35:22Here we go, all. Right, so Speaking of just
- 35:25actually wrestling, let me get the music started.
- 35:27Speaking of the. Blow my back out.
- 35:29You know, earlier I want to go on a more light hearted note and
- 35:33a more of a more of a somber tone talking about somebody that
- 35:37I was thinking of as a wrestling fan yesterday.
- 35:39And I know a lot of other wrestling fans were thinking of
- 35:41them, especially with all the memes, not memes, but the videos
- 35:44and stuff all over TikTok, Instagram or whatnot.
- 35:47But I'm talking about Bray Wyatt, who if everybody
- 35:49remembers yesterday was the two year anniversary of his passing
- 35:53where he passed away, of course, on August 24th.
- 35:57And where do to where to start about Bray Wyatt.
- 36:00He had absolutely one of the best minds in all of WWE.
- 36:06You know, to people that you look at whoever have revitalized
- 36:09their characters, people who have put in time and effort and
- 36:12the details into their character and their character work and
- 36:15this persona that they have, it doesn't really come much better
- 36:18as Bray Wyatt and as Jabba's over here showing the picture.
- 36:20Yeah, I know you were real close to Bray Wyatt.
- 36:22It's a very young Jabba there with no beard there.
- 36:25But you know, he was just an absolute.
- 36:28He was an absolute St. Everybody that ever had got a
- 36:31chance to work with Ray Wyatt, not wrestling or continue to
- 36:34wrestle. There's nothing but great
- 36:36stories about him. He was an absolute St. to work
- 36:38with. He was an absolute sweetheart.
- 36:40He was just one of the nicest people that you can ever meet.
- 36:43There's tons and tons of videos of him out outside fans, little
- 36:48kids waiting to be to be to see just a single wrestler or
- 36:52somebody famous or whatnot. He would take the time, of
- 36:54course, before hours before the show, go and greet some of the
- 36:56fans or whatnot. And like I said, his his run
- 37:00where he first came into the WWE is the Wyatt family.
- 37:02You know, like I said, the time and effort, you could tell, you
- 37:05know, and some guys kind of phase out after their first
- 37:07gimmick doesn't work. And the Fiend, Bray Wyatt came,
- 37:10rebec revitalized, revitalized his career.
- 37:13And he's just an absolutely loving man.
- 37:15And it's so heartbreaking that he's not here with us anymore.
- 37:17Everybody always says that we thought we had more time with
- 37:19him. You can never hope you know how
- 37:21much time you have. You can just enjoy and whatnot
- 37:24and. How did he pass?
- 37:26He actually had complications with COVID.
- 37:28Long COVID. He had, yeah.
- 37:30And he had. He had underlying heart issues
- 37:32too. So that's what happened.
- 37:34With Goody, you know, You know who his wife is, right?
- 37:38Jose Offerman's daughter, JoJo, Yeah.
- 37:40JoJo Offerman. Oh nice, I didn't know that.
- 37:43I didn't know that was Jose Offerman's daughter.
- 37:45Yep, I didn't realize that. So technically Bray Wyatt's
- 37:48father-in-law, but yeah, it's it's definitely a shame.
- 37:50You know, I guess I'm one of the most love hearted guys and we
- 37:53are definitely thinking of you as fans, Bray Wyatt.
- 37:56So it definitely smells like some delicious roses that were
- 37:59placed on his gravestone or wherever he may relay.
- 38:05Yeah, Fisher, you're saying something.
- 38:07No, that's that's. All right, so very, very good
- 38:10Tommy. I'll go back to the more What's
- 38:13that smell themed of the. We're getting a little raunchier
- 38:15now. Negative.
- 38:16One, well, no, not that, not that level.
- 38:18No, I'm going to go to Cincinnati Bengals, where we've
- 38:20criticized their ownership in the past with Mike Brown being
- 38:24notoriously cheap with his players.
- 38:25Now he's doing it with his former players too.
- 38:27And for the Ring of Honor this season, Boomer Sison was the one
- 38:30who called it out initially. And there were a couple others,
- 38:32Lamar Parish, a few others that were called out, Mike Brown for
- 38:37making them pay for hotel and travel to get into Cincinnati
- 38:41for their own Ring of Honor. That's going to be later this
- 38:43season. Guys that gave your heart and
- 38:45soul to this franchise, you don't even give them travel
- 38:49accommodations. You know what that smells like?
- 38:51It smells like some three-year expired Skyline chili on a piece
- 38:56of burnt toast. AKA Eli, which I don't
- 38:59understand. They go out there, they pay Joe
- 39:00Burrow, they go out there and pay Jamar, Chase and and
- 39:03Higgins. They pay all these guys, but
- 39:05they won't pay for their ex athletes to come in for the Ring
- 39:08of Honor. What a despicable organization.
- 39:11And everybody makes fun of the New York Jets.
- 39:12At least Woody Johnson actually opens up his pockets.
- 39:15And by the way, what a name. I was talking to my friend about
- 39:17that, Woody Johnson, his name is Woody Johnson.
- 39:21I never even thought of it, but it is pretty funny when you
- 39:24think about it. I'm just saying Woody.
- 39:26Woody Johnson does. He have good woody.
- 39:29I don't know. We're going to have to ask his
- 39:30Johnson. Be ironic if you needed Viagra.
- 39:36I was laughing the other day about it.
- 39:37I thought it was pretty funny when I was thinking about it.
- 39:39So anyways. You know what?
- 39:42You know what's not funny? What happened to Ron Washington
- 39:46earlier this season? You know, long time baseball
- 39:49guy, manager all over the league, bench coach over the
- 39:52league. Well, he's he's was the Angels
- 39:54manager this year. He's one of the oldest coaches
- 39:56in the league. He had to step down after a
- 39:58Yankees game on June 19th and. We didn't really know what was
- 40:03going on yet. Then also he was out for the
- 40:04season, the medical emergency. Turns out today he had quadruple
- 40:08bypass surgery and they forced him to take.
- 40:12It was 8 weeks ago in California and they said here's
- 40:15Washington's. I guess everyone calls him
- 40:17washes. Quote, doctors told me by the
- 40:20time I reach 8 weeks, I could start doing some light work.
- 40:23But my light work was to come to Texas and be with the team 73
- 40:27years old. He said, I feel great, I really
- 40:29do. I didn't come here to work.
- 40:30I came here to be around my guys and have fun with him.
- 40:34So you might not be getting back to coaching, but Washes is back.
- 40:37He's OK. It's great news.
- 40:40So I looked up what's the sweetest smelling flower in
- 40:43Texas where he went. That flower is the Gardenia.
- 40:47So Congrats to Wash and I hope you got a lot of sweet smells
- 40:51over there in Texas tonight, man.
- 40:54Hi guys, Cleveland, I don't did you see the Bybee incident there
- 40:58with voter happened just happened today's game.
- 41:01Cleveland Guardians have been shut out in three straight
- 41:03games, being outscored 24 to 0, and have not scored a run in 28
- 41:07straight innings. Easy to go start broadcasting
- 41:10for them again. He is.
- 41:12He's heading out there Wednesday.
- 41:13Nice. You got to save.
- 41:17Him goody No, that smells like it.
- 41:19Smells like the pot is cooking, bro.
- 41:22Well, something's cooking over there and I don't know what it's
- 41:25going to be, but it ain't smelling too good, whatever
- 41:29they're cooking up there. Well when when you get to
- 41:31Cleveland, make sure that you take a dump on the the the first
- 41:35base mount. I get to Cleveland, I'm bringing
- 41:37my glove and cleats and maybe my bat, but tell them I got, I
- 41:43think I'm throwing a first pitch out at some point, so maybe I'll
- 41:45let it loose a little bit. Oh yeah.
- 41:47See if I can, see if I can open some eyes there and ask me if
- 41:51they can gun it for me. Just get a taste.
- 41:54Play with my pickle. It ain't.
- 41:57It ain't pretty. It ain't pretty.
- 41:59So my pinky is bigger than yours.
- 42:02Anyways, I'm not going to, I'm not going to cancel myself so.
- 42:07Droba. Anyway, So what?
- 42:10Is Droba Droba all right job? I'm going to, I'm going to go
- 42:20with golf and we had the FedEx Cup was going on in the Tour
- 42:26Championship and it's a bit confusing to me.
- 42:30Scotty Scheffler, obviously number one in the world, won the
- 42:32most championships this year, doesn't get any bonus whatever.
- 42:39And then love Tommy Fleetwood, love him to death, but he said
- 42:43164 starts and did not win one tournament.
- 42:48And he wins the Tour Championship, then ends up
- 42:51winning the FedEx Comfort points and gets $10 million, the
- 42:54highest purse that you can ever get.
- 42:56And then Scotty Scheffler gets gets a nice little swift kick in
- 42:59the butt. Mind you, his check was still
- 43:01decent. But for somebody that led all
- 43:04year in points and majors and then the guy that hasn't won,
- 43:10takes one tournament and wins both and makes way more money
- 43:15than any other purse in all of the PGA for all year.
- 43:19It sounds like that scene from the movie as you all should know
- 43:25it. Billy Madison when she called
- 43:27the shit poop and it's on fire and he tries to put it out with
- 43:32the boot. Don't put it out with your
- 43:34boots, Ted. And Scotty needs to tell the
- 43:38PGA. Don't tell me my business, devil
- 43:41people. All right ladies and gentlemen,
- 43:47our final what's that smell goes to Nikes newest signature
- 43:51athlete Caitlin Clark. Indiana Fevers Caitlin Clark for
- 43:56all you haters, all the ladies out there that are hating on
- 43:59this woman. She is now one of the new Nike
- 44:03signature dream sneakers out there.
- 44:07Clark's first signature shoe will be apparel collection will
- 44:11be debut in 2026. Nike said she will join fellow
- 44:16Nike athletes Asia Wilson and Sabrina Inescu as it active and
- 44:22WNBA player with a signature sneaker.
- 44:25She's one of only three women now part of the Nike family that
- 44:30have a signature sneaker. She writes and she says this and
- 44:35I'm going to read it off. To me, this is more than just a
- 44:38logo. It's a dream come true, Clark
- 44:41said in a statement. People always talk about leaving
- 44:44your mark on the game, and this is another way I can do that.
- 44:48So there you go. And by the way, you know what it
- 44:51smells like for all those ladies out there that want to hate on
- 44:54her, It smells like donkey Doo Doo.
- 44:57That's what it smells like for all the girls that don't like
- 45:01the one and only Caitlin Clark. You can go eat her Doo Doo.
- 45:05That's what I'm saying. So I honestly, Caitlin Clark has
- 45:09done a lot for the woman's game and even the men's game.
- 45:13And I think she's going to change the the way you look at
- 45:16women, not only as basketball player, basketball players, but
- 45:20athletes. And I think she's doing such a
- 45:22great job right now standing out and she's been taking a lot of
- 45:26abuse all over social media. Everybody attacks her.
- 45:29They don't like her, they love her, they hate her, all the
- 45:32other stuff. But what she does great is that
- 45:35when she goes out there and she speaks to the public in the
- 45:37media, she stays and she keeps it professional.
- 45:40And that's what I love about her.
- 45:41She doesn't go out there and try to be something that she's not.
- 45:44And that's something that you have to give her a little bit
- 45:46more respect for because she can go out there and burn everybody.
- 45:49She can burn her bridges with all the the people that hate on
- 45:52her. She don't do that.
- 45:53She goes out there and she says she speaks from the heart and
- 45:56she speaks for real. And that's what I love about
- 45:58her. And that's why I rude her on.
- 46:00And every time I go out, you know, into the public eye and I
- 46:03wear her jerseys, everybody gives me the thumbs up and gives
- 46:06me a little bit of love. Because Caitlin Clark is is one
- 46:09of the biggest stars right now in professional sports.
- 46:11And you can't hold up or even not believe that anymore now
- 46:15that Nike has made her a big name and a big product for their
- 46:19shoes. So congratulations.
- 46:21Sells more shoes her Angel Reese.
- 46:22It's going to be, it's going to be her, no doubt about it.
- 46:25So the Angel Reese has got to stop too.
- 46:29She hates on her so much and Angel Reese just doesn't give
- 46:33her any respect or any of her do.
- 46:35And I, I, I respect Angel Reese in her game.
- 46:38She's a great player. She's a double, double machine,
- 46:41but she's not Caitlin Clark and she's not the face of W the WNBA
- 46:46women's basketball Caitlin Clark is.
- 46:48And what she's doing right now for the WNBA, it's going to open
- 46:51up doors for all different professional sports.
- 46:54How about volleyball being a professional sport and bringing
- 46:57in volleyball sneaker deals for the volleyball women's
- 47:00volleyball team for the Olympics?
- 47:02I mean, there's so many different things that she's
- 47:04going to do and what she's breaking through when it comes
- 47:06to sportswear and and and doing it with a giant in Nike.
- 47:10Nike is is promoting her at for as their her, their lead woman
- 47:15for their sneak for their sneaker and their sales.
- 47:18So it's a nice story. Congratulations to Caitlin
- 47:20Clark, very well deserved. Thank you to all the fans on all
- 47:23the social media, some Spotify and apple and Spotify and Apple

- 47:58question before we go. When was the last time you
- 48:01washed that hat? Washed the hat?
- 48:04Yeah, clean that hat. I mean, look at look at the dust
- 48:07on that hat. It looks like he put it in his.
- 48:10It is pretty dusty. It is one of the ugly.
- 48:12Going to say since never. He never cleaned that hat, man.
- 48:16It looks like he stuck it in like a dryer or something.
- 48:19I don't know. It's pretty dusty.
- 48:20It's bad, it's bad. I got to clean it up.
- 48:21Anyways, we'll be back on Wednesday.
- 48:23Who do we have on the show? 945 another son of a sibling, I
- 48:28guess you could say, of a former baseball player.
- 48:30Jaden Fielder will be coming on, who's the son of Prince Fielder
- 48:33and the grandson of Cecil Fielder. 3rd generation coming
- 48:36on a show and Cecil Fielder, one of the greatest power hitters of
- 48:39the 80s and and now you look at Prince.
- 48:42Prince was a pretty good power hitter, too, and.
- 48:44The amount of home runs, yeah, my favorites that ever.
- 48:46Great story and looking forward to getting him on the show.
- 48:49And, and, and thank you to Nathan for getting him on the
- 48:52show as well. So and thank you to Nathan for
- 48:54Lindsay getting and and reaching out to her and getting her on
- 48:57the show as well. We will be back on Wednesday.
