- 0:12Speaker 1: What's up Nick? What a week it's been. Yeah. Another
- 0:16Speaker 1: week of shenanigans and what have yous and what nots.
- 0:18Speaker 1: All the things. You guys have your cue cards? I
- 0:20Speaker 1: have paper. Yeah, I've got cue cards. Yeah, yeah. What
- 0:24Speaker 1: do you want to know? I've got the official Hey
- 0:25Speaker 1: Jonas cue cards, which will be available in our holiday
- 0:28Speaker 1: pack coming to you in time for Christmas. Hanukkah, and
- 0:33Speaker 1: what other holidays you may celebrate. This pack will include
- 0:36Speaker 1: the Hey Jonas cue cards, the red solo cups where
- 0:39Speaker 1: you can put your own name, Joe's soundboard, in addition
- 0:42Speaker 1: to many other fun things. What it will not have
- 0:46Speaker 1: in it is these paddles, which we will explain more
- 0:51Speaker 1: once our guests arrive today, but it is two paddles
- 0:54Speaker 1: that say Dis Earlgree or Earlgree. I feel like that
- 0:58Speaker 1: gives it away. Earl Gray? Who could that possibly be?
- 1:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Are we getting more Jersey in this podcast right now?
- 1:04Speaker 1: It couldn't possibly be more Jersey than your guns out
- 1:06Speaker 1: for no reason today, Kev. I was in the pool.
- 1:09Speaker 1: I didn't want to... I'm literally in my swimming suit. Wow.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Must be nice. I like it.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Our guests today on the pod are from the great
- 1:19Speaker 1: state of New Jersey, which we'll be talking a lot about.
- 1:22Speaker 1: But their new show, Earl Meets World, is out now.
- 1:28Speaker 4: It is.
- 1:29Speaker 1: hilarious, fun family ride and Jersey stuff and all the
- 1:35Speaker 1: things in between. I think we should get him out here.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Let's do it. Alex Ashton, welcome to Hey Jonas, the pod.
- 1:41Speaker 1: We're so glad to have you. Thanks for having us on. Yay,
- 1:45Speaker 1: I'm so excited. He will be interrupting the entire interview
- 1:48Speaker 1: with different sounds.
- 1:49Speaker 4: I love it.
- 1:50Speaker 1: They're good. I'm not going to interrupt. He's going to
- 1:53Speaker 1: add to the conversation. Before we got going, I asked
- 1:56Speaker 1: you how long you've been in town because I'm dying
- 1:58Speaker 1: to know, do you Do you live in California now
- 1:59Speaker 1: or are you still based in New Jersey?
- 2:02Speaker 4: I don't actually really know exactly where I live. I
- 2:04Speaker 4: kind of hop around between like LA, Miami, New York,
- 2:08Speaker 4: but she's in New York. I'm in New York. And
- 2:10Speaker 4: obviously Jersey is like very important to us, our roots.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Let's talk about Jersey. Let's talk about it. I'm here
- 2:17Speaker 1: right now.
- 2:17Speaker 4: We're in Jersey.
- 2:18Speaker 1: So we're up a little in the Northwest. Yeah. Me
- 2:20Speaker 1: and the family, Danielle, my wife, and my two daughters
- 2:23Speaker 1: are here. They're in the pool. That's why I dress
- 2:25Speaker 1: the way I am. Do you believe that there's such
- 2:27Speaker 1: a thing as like central Jersey or is it just northern?
- 2:31Speaker 5: Yes, I do.
- 2:31Speaker 4: I think we're from central Jersey.
- 2:33Speaker 1: You are from central Jersey, right?
- 2:34Speaker 4: Right. You believe in the central.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It exists. Where are you from exactly? Don't you have
- 2:38Speaker 1: to say exactly where, but what part? Like Monmouth County.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Monmouth County. Okay, so that's kind of central. That is
- 2:42Speaker 1: definitely central Jersey.
- 2:43Speaker 4: What do you think central is?
- 2:44Speaker 1: Oh, you don't believe in it? I just stopped keeping track.
- 2:46Speaker 1: It's basically like northern Jersey and then all of a
- 2:48Speaker 1: sudden it just becomes Philly. See, that's the problem, I think.
- 2:52Speaker 4: People....
- 2:54Speaker 1: I think people in Central.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Jersey don't want to be North Jersey and don't want
- 2:58Speaker 2: to be Philly.
- 2:59Speaker 1: They're going to revolt. Yes. Central Jersey. They're going to
- 3:03Speaker 1: start a revolution to be seen.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Okay, but I have an important question for you guys.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Do you say Taylor Ham or pork roll? It's going
- 3:08Speaker 4: to be Taylor Ham. Oh my gosh.
- 3:10Speaker 1: You guys say pork roll?
- 3:10Speaker 4: See, because you're North Jersey.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I'm North Jersey. Do you judge people from North Jersey?
- 3:15Speaker 4: I don't judge people, but I think you guys are
- 3:17Speaker 4: really brutal. It depends person to person, but I think
- 3:21Speaker 4: you guys are really brutal about the Taylor Ham and
- 3:23Speaker 4: pork roll.
- 3:24Speaker 1: How so?
- 3:25Speaker 4: Because it's pork roll and you say Taylor Ham.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I actually say pork roll. Yeah, Joe, you started doing
- 3:30Speaker 1: that and that's not how you were raised. What do
- 3:31Speaker 1: you mean I started doing it? That's what I said. Never.
- 3:33Speaker 1: You've never said that.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Do you guys eat pork roll or Taylor Ham or no?
- 3:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, 100%. But the problem is that Kevin always
- 3:41Speaker 1: brings it before we go on a plane.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Oh.
- 3:43Speaker 1: And then you've got Basically 400 grams of sodium. It's
- 3:47Speaker 1: a lot. Making your palms and your face blow up.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But they're so good. They're so good.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Alex, I believe I'm aware of your bagel order and
- 3:55Speaker 3: I'm sorry, but I can't not get behind it.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Kevin studies celebrity bagel orders.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Have you had a pork roll and cream cheese?
- 4:03Speaker 1: Criminal. That is just, I'm sorry. I won't judge your
- 4:06Speaker 1: pork roll. Hold on, hold on, hold on. No, you
- 4:09Speaker 1: can judge it. It's okay. I approve of your judging.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Both of you are your orders for bagels i'm curious now.
- 4:15Speaker 4: An egg bagel with pork roll and cream cheese and
- 4:19Speaker 4: i have taken it on a plane before so now
- 4:21Speaker 4: that you said that i feel really bad and i
- 4:23Speaker 4: i'm aware it probably.
- 4:24Speaker 5: No no no kevin have you tried it before before
- 4:27Speaker 5: you know what i would be honest i have not
- 4:29Speaker 5: so there you go can't judge until you tried it.
- 4:33Speaker 1: True okay and ash what's your what's your order.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I'll do an egg everything bagel with pork roll, egg,
- 4:39Speaker 2: and cheese.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Super basic. That's my order. My go-to order. Well, I'm
- 4:43Speaker 1: going to go try it.
- 4:44Speaker 5: There's a Goldberg's not far from where I am currently,
- 4:47Speaker 5: and I might have to just go try it.
- 4:49Speaker 1: But you're in New York currently, and the Hamptons bagel
- 4:51Speaker 1: is not the same.
- 4:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:52Speaker 1: First of all, Kevin Jonas. In your bathing suit.
- 4:57Speaker 5: What I will say to you is that there's a
- 5:00Speaker 5: Goldberg's down the street here in the Hamptons.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Different Goldberg's. What do you mean different Goldberg? Different Goldberg.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It's the commercial Goldberg. It's not like the real hometown. Now,
- 5:09Speaker 1: we just recently did a thing that we file under
- 5:11Speaker 1: weird collaborations we've done over the years. We did a couple.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Papa Bagels. We did Papa Bagels. I just saw that.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And I thought it was great. We had a great time.
- 5:20Speaker 1: We popped up, no pun intended, into one of the
- 5:22Speaker 1: places and saw some fans. It was great, but also
- 5:25Speaker 1: kind of bizarre to be like handing out bagels. I've
- 5:27Speaker 1: seen that you guys have had quite the summer together.
- 5:31Speaker 1: traveling different places. You mentioned Miami. Joe's actually living in
- 5:35Speaker 1: Miami these days. And I got to say, Miami has
- 5:39Speaker 1: a lot of appeal for those of us living in
- 5:42Speaker 1: California where you're just kind of worried each day about
- 5:44Speaker 1: the heat. Lots of different factors, I won't say, because
- 5:48Speaker 1: then it might happen. But things, you know, in California
- 5:50Speaker 1: are intense. now miami seems like a good it is
- 5:54Speaker 1: and you.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Know living there is actually a lot more chill and
- 5:57Speaker 4: relaxing and healthy than when you think of like vacationing
- 5:59Speaker 4: in miami it's like when i'm there i'm just like
- 6:02Speaker 4: on my routine it's nice weather all the time go
- 6:05Speaker 4: outside walk my dog we.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Love that it's beautiful we have a lot of mutual
- 6:09Speaker 5: friends dave grubman's a good friend of ours as well
- 6:11Speaker 5: yeah oh fun we love dave dave's so fun and
- 6:14Speaker 5: yeah i know uh He is a part of the
- 6:17Speaker 5: new show that you guys have launching.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Congratulations. It's so exciting. Yeah. Please tell us about the show.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Well, what do you want to know?
- 6:26Speaker 1: All right.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Well, I want to know that I want to know
- 6:28Speaker 5: the tea. And obviously this has to do with your family.
- 6:30Speaker 5: And I thought of both of you this morning because
- 6:33Speaker 5: I saw a baby deer and then it made me think,
- 6:36Speaker 5: wait a minute. These two had a pet deer, am
- 6:38Speaker 5: I right?
- 6:38Speaker 4: Yes, we did.
- 6:39Speaker 1: You have a lot of pets.
- 6:41Speaker 4: We do.
- 6:42Speaker 1: You had a pet deer?
- 6:44Speaker 4: We had a pet deer. The ending was a little tragic.
- 6:47Speaker 4: And it's also, I think it's sort of.
- 6:49Speaker 1: There's a movie about that.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Well, I think it is illegal to... It's illegal, it
- 6:52Speaker 4: might be.
- 6:52Speaker 1: To domesticate a deer. Was this sort of like an official...
- 6:56Speaker 1: matter of business? It had a collar.
- 6:58Speaker 4: It was on the couch with us.
- 7:00Speaker 1: It was a dog, essentially.
- 7:04Speaker 4: It was lost from its mom and it came to
- 7:06Speaker 4: our doorstep and we helped it. Fun fact about deers,
- 7:09Speaker 4: once you touch them as a baby, the moms can
- 7:14Speaker 4: sense it and the mom didn't want the baby back
- 7:16Speaker 4: so we took her.
- 7:18Speaker 1: She didn't die. We adopted a deer. That's pretty cool.
- 7:23Speaker 1: You have a lot of pets as a family, am
- 7:25Speaker 1: I right? Yes, we do. So can you walk through
- 7:28Speaker 1: this list of pets? I'm very curious.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Well, every time we come back to our dad's house
- 7:32Speaker 2: in New Jersey, they have a new animal. So it's
- 7:35Speaker 2: kind of hard to keep track. But we have two goats.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Four goats. Four goats.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Two pigs.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Two pigs.
- 7:42Speaker 4: A lot of like chickens, turkeys, roosters. I don't even
- 7:46Speaker 4: know if that's true.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Does your father live on a farm?
- 7:49Speaker 4: They built a farm basically in the backyard. There's dogs, cats,
- 7:53Speaker 4: a bearded dragon. There's a snake. There was a bunny?
- 7:58Speaker 4: Or did I make that up?
- 7:59Speaker 1: A guinea pig? It wasn't there.
- 8:01Speaker 4: A guinea pig. There was a guinea pig. Oh, no,
- 8:04Speaker 4: we had a bunny.
- 8:04Speaker 1: A rabbit. My daughter just got a hamster. It's a big,
- 8:08Speaker 1: big thing in our household right now.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Oh, hamsters are fun.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Now, we spoke to Millie Bobby Brown recently, who also
- 8:15Speaker 1: informed us that she has... lots of pets yeah like
- 8:19Speaker 1: 30 plus pets is it not and i don't i
- 8:21Speaker 1: don't mean this this is probably a question to ask
- 8:23Speaker 1: your dad because you said he lives in this property
- 8:25Speaker 1: is it not a ton of work having a dog
- 8:28Speaker 1: is like a full-time job right yes no it is
- 8:32Speaker 1: 25 pets you know who actually.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Loves to take care of all the animals is our
- 8:35Speaker 2: little sister penelope she's 11 she goes out there three
- 8:38Speaker 2: times a day Feeding them.
- 8:40Speaker 4: She's on top of it. She's got the checklist. Our
- 8:43Speaker 4: parents like put the little ones to work with taking
- 8:45Speaker 4: care of them.
- 8:46Speaker 2: She'll like remind my dad and my stepmom. She's like,
- 8:48Speaker 2: we need to go feed the animals. She's like the
- 8:51Speaker 2: one who runs the show.
- 8:52Speaker 4: He is really good at the farm. And yeah, the
- 8:55Speaker 4: little siblings kind of like Thomas's in the reptile area.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Isabella's in the cats.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Oh, the wiener dog and the cats.
- 9:02Speaker 4: There's a wiener dog.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Are we going to be able to get to see
- 9:05Speaker 1: all of this on the show?
- 9:06Speaker 4: Yes.
- 9:07Speaker 5: Yes.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Okay, so you're going to see a home life with
- 9:09Speaker 3: your family and your parents and, of course, your travels
- 9:11Speaker 3: and your work as well.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Is this kind of what the vibe is going? Yes.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Our producer had a chance to watch a kind of
- 9:17Speaker 1: pre-screener of the show and said it is going to
- 9:19Speaker 1: be a massive hit. Very excited for you, first of all.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Nice.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Way to go.
- 9:24Speaker 4: Cha-ching.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Cha-ching. How are you? And weirdly, beyond the Jersey Connection,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I do feel like we have a bunch of sort
- 9:30Speaker 1: of mutual friends. We've heard great things about you guys
- 9:31Speaker 1: as a family. But what we want to get into with,
- 9:34Speaker 1: you know, with respect to the show and what we're
- 9:36Speaker 1: going to see, is really the sibling dynamic.
- 9:39Speaker 7: Right.
- 9:39Speaker 1: We work together. We have for a very long time.
- 9:41Speaker 1: We've had our fair share of situations we've had to navigate.
- 9:45Speaker 1: What are we going to get to see if any
- 9:47Speaker 1: sort of fights that are, you know, verbal or even potentially...
- 9:53Speaker 1: Everyone knows siblings don't fight, so you obviously are going
- 9:55Speaker 1: to have a lot of acting, I'm sure. Yeah, of course. Yeah,
- 9:58Speaker 1: of course. Kevin did a reality show. show so he
- 10:00Speaker 1: knows the balance of some real and then some things
- 10:02Speaker 1: you have to sort of make amplify but um beyond
- 10:07Speaker 1: the show have you guys had any any sort of
- 10:08Speaker 1: big family fights before of course all the time i.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Mean yeah our family too like we it's an interesting
- 10:17Speaker 4: dynamic because my parents had gotten divorced and, uh, then,
- 10:22Speaker 4: you know, they are remarried or my mom's still dating,
- 10:26Speaker 4: but like they all hang out now and things, things
- 10:28Speaker 4: were a little rocky at first. It wasn't like things
- 10:31Speaker 4: didn't go down the best that they could have, you know?
- 10:34Speaker 4: So there was some unresolved, uh, feelings i think for
- 10:37Speaker 4: a while between us and our stepmom my mom and
- 10:40Speaker 4: my dad and stepmom and everyone so it took a
- 10:43Speaker 4: while for us to like get to a really good
- 10:45Speaker 4: place but of course there's still times where like yeah
- 10:47Speaker 4: it just you know comes up we fight sisters fight
- 10:51Speaker 4: like no other i'm sure you guys know it's just
- 10:53Speaker 4: like yeah fighting with your family there's something nice to
- 10:56Speaker 4: it though because i'm like you can scream and fight
- 11:00Speaker 4: with each other and say the nastiest things but two
- 11:02Speaker 4: seconds later you're like.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Okay like let's go okay we're gonna go see the
- 11:05Speaker 5: odyssey or spider-man We've always said that it's weird that,
- 11:08Speaker 5: you know, when you're as siblings and, you know, I
- 11:13Speaker 5: think this is reserved for sibling relationships.
- 11:15Speaker 1: You can have a fight about a situation. It can
- 11:17Speaker 1: get really intense. And then your friends who are not
- 11:21Speaker 1: siblings or don't have siblings, they don't understand how you
- 11:24Speaker 1: can just jump back to normal. Totally.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Like, I feel like there was a time when
- 11:28Speaker 2: we first started hanging out around Jake and And we
- 11:31Speaker 2: would like scream at each other and he would be
- 11:33Speaker 2: so scared. And he was like, wait, guys, please calm down.
- 11:37Speaker 1: And we're like, wait, no, we're fine. Like, don't worry.
- 11:39Speaker 1: He's like, we're just having a conversation. We're like, oh.
- 11:42Speaker 5: What's the longest the two of you have gone without
- 11:43Speaker 5: speaking when you've had like a really big disagreement?
- 11:45Speaker 1: You're like, okay.
- 11:47Speaker 4: So let me tell you, there was a time where
- 11:49Speaker 4: she was dating this, I don't know, this guy.
- 11:52Speaker 5: And, um, I like it wisely there.
- 11:58Speaker 4: I glanced at the publicist in the corner and said, wait,
- 12:01Speaker 4: let me rephrase that person that she dated. And, um,
- 12:07Speaker 4: We didn't get along. Like, the two of us kind.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Of butt heads.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Alex didn't like him.
- 12:11Speaker 1: He didn't like her.
- 12:13Speaker 4: And he would, like, talk about me to her. And
- 12:17Speaker 4: it sort of just, like, dampened our relationship. It was, like,
- 12:20Speaker 4: I feel like a year and a half, a year that, like,
- 12:22Speaker 4: not that we didn't speak ever, but now we're best friends.
- 12:25Speaker 4: We speak all day, every day.
- 12:26Speaker 1: But that's a long time. About a year.
- 12:28Speaker 4: We just, like, didn't really know what was going on
- 12:31Speaker 4: in each other's lives.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Yeah. We were just, like.
- 12:33Speaker 2: family you know we'd see each other on the holidays
- 12:35Speaker 2: but we would.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Not really really sad actually i.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Know it does make me really sad but it was
- 12:39Speaker 2: one of those situations where alex didn't like my boyfriend
- 12:41Speaker 2: so she was like you have to break up with
- 12:43Speaker 2: him he sucks and then i was like i hate
- 12:45Speaker 2: you don't talk to me because i was in love
- 12:47Speaker 2: it was my first boyfriend but these things yeah have
- 12:51Speaker 2: you guys ever had a situation like that with like
- 12:54Speaker 2: you don't like someone's significant.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Other oh yeah.
- 13:00Speaker 5: You don't have to give details but yeah you know
- 13:03Speaker 5: there's been that moment where you're just like similar to
- 13:06Speaker 5: the two of you like i've said my piece let's
- 13:08Speaker 5: i'm gonna leave it with them and whatever i'll see
- 13:10Speaker 5: you at christmas and it's just a good timing right
- 13:14Speaker 5: cup wow this is the christmas episode i forgot to
- 13:19Speaker 5: tell you guys yeah we've had moments where you know
- 13:22Speaker 5: and then sometimes where it's gonna be brought to the
- 13:25Speaker 5: family courtroom right sometimes and you know you just want
- 13:29Speaker 5: to do what do you have to say mom you
- 13:31Speaker 5: know she'll usually say what's on her mind.
- 13:33Speaker 4: Too so out of you guys who's the one that's
- 13:35Speaker 4: like a little bit more outspoken gonna be aggressive who's
- 13:39Speaker 4: the one that's gonna like let things slide because.
- 13:41Speaker 5: That's yeah you're sitting next to the guy that's not
- 13:43Speaker 5: gonna let things slide yeah who me yeah you nick
- 13:47Speaker 5: will just say if something's bothering nick he'll just go
- 13:49Speaker 5: like this i just gotta i just gotta I got
- 13:54Speaker 5: to tell you this or I have to get it
- 13:56Speaker 5: off my chest.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Because he's not going to be able to hold it in.
- 13:58Speaker 5: I think Kevin will probably be the last person to
- 14:03Speaker 5: just say.
- 14:03Speaker 1: What you're thinking. He'll hold it in, let it bottle
- 14:05Speaker 1: up for years and then one day explode. That's me.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I'm working on it. I'm working on it with my therapist.
- 14:10Speaker 1: And Alex, what's your situation? What's your role in this?
- 14:14Speaker 1: She likes to control everyone and tell everyone what to do.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Okay, well, control is a harsh word. I would say
- 14:19Speaker 4: that's a harsh word. I am more outspoken. And I
- 14:23Speaker 4: think like growing up a lot of the times because
- 14:25Speaker 4: she was so quiet, like if there was ever a
- 14:28Speaker 4: problem she was having with like my family and what's
- 14:30Speaker 4: going on, I would speak for her because she wouldn't
- 14:33Speaker 4: say the problem. Like she would complain to me, but
- 14:35Speaker 4: she wouldn't say it to my parents. So I would
- 14:36Speaker 4: speak for like the both of us. So, you know,
- 14:40Speaker 4: now I'm working on like, Taking a moment, reeling it in,
- 14:44Speaker 4: thinking before I speak.
- 14:45Speaker 1: That's beautiful.
- 14:46Speaker 3: And Ashton, are you now speaking up for yourself a
- 14:48Speaker 3: little bit more, especially in the show?
- 14:51Speaker 1: I'm working on it.
- 14:51Speaker 4: I feel like she was like forced to speak, you know?
- 14:54Speaker 1: They're like, we'll tell us the issue. It kind of
- 14:55Speaker 1: puts you in that position for sure.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I was forced to talk a lot more than I'm
- 14:58Speaker 2: used to.
- 14:59Speaker 4: We actually learned a lot about her in the show.
- 15:01Speaker 4: I was like, oh my God, I'm watching it back.
- 15:02Speaker 4: I'm like, I don't even know these things.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Alex was like, I didn't know you had these thoughts.
- 15:05Speaker 2: And I was like, oh.
- 15:05Speaker 1: And you were in the room the whole time. You're
- 15:06Speaker 1: just like, wow, I didn't know you said that to me.
- 15:08Speaker 1: She's like, wasn't listening.
- 15:09Speaker 3: That happens to us on occasion where we're like, I
- 15:11Speaker 3: had no idea that that offended you. You're like, yeah,
- 15:14Speaker 3: it bothered me for days. And you're like, what?
- 15:17Speaker 5: One thing we've learned from working together, but also filming
- 15:20Speaker 5: together and doing some in our own version therapy on
- 15:24Speaker 5: camera where we're just talking about stuff is that we
- 15:27Speaker 5: have a different account for situations and how they went down.
- 15:30Speaker 5: Like 99% of the time, I'll say, for example, I'll
- 15:34Speaker 5: say like, oh yeah, when you said that.
- 15:37Speaker 1: To me, that really hurt my feelings.
- 15:38Speaker 5: And then I kind of held resentment towards you for
- 15:39Speaker 5: a couple of years. The other person was like, I
- 15:41Speaker 5: thought we had a great conversation. I thought that was great.
- 15:44Speaker 5: I thought that we were totally fine.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Everything was awesome.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Do you find that as well where your accounts of
- 15:50Speaker 5: storylines are a little different?
- 15:52Speaker 2: Right.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Or you just remember things different ways. I'm like, I,
- 15:55Speaker 4: I know that I'm right in this situation and I
- 15:57Speaker 4: remember it this way and she remembers it a different way.
- 16:00Speaker 4: And sometimes like we just have to agree to disagree
- 16:03Speaker 4: and keep on moving.
- 16:04Speaker 2: But there's definitely been times where like things have happened
- 16:07Speaker 2: and you're like, I didn't know that offended you. And
- 16:09Speaker 2: I'm like, no, it did.
- 16:10Speaker 1: And you're like, wait, what? You weren't joking. And I'm like, no,
- 16:15Speaker 1: but you know, we're siblings, so it's fine.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Well, I think that's actually a perfect segue for you
- 16:19Speaker 3: guys to help us with this little game we have
- 16:22Speaker 3: that we have to make sure that we are all
- 16:23Speaker 3: on the same page.
- 16:25Speaker 1: It's called Are We in Earl Greement? Ooh. I love it.
- 16:29Speaker 4: I like it.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I thought long and hard about this and ran it
- 16:31Speaker 1: through many different AI slots to come up with the
- 16:35Speaker 1: very best name.
- 16:36Speaker 5: Perfect.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Are We in Earl Greement? Do we get a soundboard
- 16:39Speaker 4: click for that?
- 16:40Speaker 1: We actually have paddles for you.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Oh.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, there it is. Oh my gosh, you even made paddles?
- 16:47Speaker 1: There you go. We're all girl dads. And so our
- 16:53Speaker 1: producer is going to ask a series of questions, which
- 16:55Speaker 1: we will answer and figure out if we're in.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Or whatever the question is.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Good we like need these paddles in real life all
- 17:04Speaker 4: right it's.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Time for earl agreement or dis earl agreement kevin we'll.
- 17:06Speaker 4: Start with you your daughters want to wear something that
- 17:09Speaker 4: feels way too grown up for their age what.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Do you do.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Um, we, this just happened to us with my oldest daughter.
- 17:26Speaker 3: We went to, we were in California and we went
- 17:29Speaker 3: to Revice and she's obsessed.
- 17:31Speaker 1: With her denim.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Oh hell.
- 17:32Speaker 5: Oh hell.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
- 17:33Speaker 1: So you know about Revice.
- 17:34Speaker 3: We walk into Revice and the, the girls all working
- 17:38Speaker 3: there are super sweet to her and they're like, we
- 17:40Speaker 3: got this, we got this. They pull, they're like, this
- 17:41Speaker 3: is a great pair, the whole outfit. She puts it
- 17:44Speaker 3: on and I look, look at the girl that gave
- 17:46Speaker 3: it to her. Mind you, she is 12. I go, yeah,
- 17:48Speaker 3: we are not buying that. What in the God's earth
- 17:51Speaker 3: do you think is happening right now? How do I
- 17:53Speaker 3: handle it? I say, uh, not when they're 12. I
- 17:56Speaker 3: think that I literally.
- 17:58Speaker 1: We are not buying that. Yeah.
- 18:01Speaker 3: But I actually said to her was go, go ask
- 18:03Speaker 3: your mother is what I said.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Honestly, I feel like that's great to be like, go
- 18:08Speaker 2: ask your mother. I'm in Earl agreement.
- 18:10Speaker 4: I was going to say I'm in Earl agreement as well.
- 18:13Speaker 4: And also like you're her dad. Obviously you're going to
- 18:15Speaker 4: be like, no, you know, but I think that's where
- 18:18Speaker 4: like we have little siblings, our younger sibling siblings, isabel's
- 18:22Speaker 4: 13 now and she's sort of starting to get into
- 18:25Speaker 4: this phase she wanted to go to like the fair
- 18:27Speaker 4: and my parents are like oh my god there's gonna
- 18:28Speaker 4: be boys there and like we're not like they're like
- 18:30Speaker 4: we want to walk her to the front door of
- 18:32Speaker 4: a party and like meet the parents and i was
- 18:34Speaker 4: like so that's where sisters we kind of step in
- 18:36Speaker 4: and i'm like okay well guys don't make her a
- 18:38Speaker 4: loser like let her go you know so like right
- 18:42Speaker 4: there's a good balance but i would say with that
- 18:44Speaker 4: like i'm in her agreement we would we would be.
- 18:46Speaker 8: In our agreement especially with the revised clothing yes Unanimous
- 18:50Speaker 8: Earl Freeman on that one.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Wow.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Uh, Joe, you're up next.
- 18:53Speaker 8: Your daughter's getting into a full on fight in the
- 18:55Speaker 8: middle of a restaurant. Are you separating them, letting them
- 18:58Speaker 8: work it out or getting everyone out of there?
- 19:01Speaker 1: Getting everyone out of there. That'd be interesting.
- 19:04Speaker 4: Clear the building.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Um, I think he means you guys like you leave.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Oh, right.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Uh, I'm taking them out of there. I think, um,
- 19:11Speaker 1: the whole restaurant.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Yeah. I'm going to probably go with, you know, it's
- 19:18Speaker 5: a little, oh, It's a little bit of both. I
- 19:20Speaker 5: want to know what this context is, but I'm probably,
- 19:22Speaker 5: they're quite young. So I'm probably going to break up
- 19:24Speaker 5: this fight and we're just going to try to.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Talk it out.
- 19:28Speaker 5: But for the sake of the fun, I'm going to
- 19:30Speaker 5: clear every single person out of this restaurant. I'm going
- 19:33Speaker 5: to flip tables. I'm going to make a scene and
- 19:37Speaker 5: it's their problem.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Well, we would say Earl Greenman, if that could be filmed,
- 19:42Speaker 4: that would be great.
- 19:43Speaker 1: For the show.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Kick everyone out.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Yeah, because we could film it for the show exactly
- 19:48Speaker 1: great content for the show I'll come on your show
- 19:50Speaker 1: and then I'll you should fight you flip.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Some tables we should have a collab.
- 19:54Speaker 5: Episode exactly and then I flip out to cover the
- 19:57Speaker 5: fight because somebody's filming you guys and you're like oh
- 19:59Speaker 5: no we don't want this on camera even though we're
- 20:00Speaker 5: filming for a reality.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Show right right turn the cameras off.
- 20:02Speaker 5: I can't do this I'll create a scene you know
- 20:05Speaker 5: distraction okay perfect I'm excited for this thank you for
- 20:08Speaker 5: agreeing with me two for.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Two Two for two.
- 20:11Speaker 8: Let's see if we can go three for three. Nick,
- 20:13Speaker 8: your daughter asks you to keep a secret from mom.
- 20:16Speaker 8: Are you keeping it between you two? This one's tough.
- 20:19Speaker 4: You got a hard one.
- 20:21Speaker 1: We have a rule in our house that there are
- 20:23Speaker 1: no secrets between mom and dad. That is a rule
- 20:29Speaker 1: because we don't want her to ever feel like she
- 20:31Speaker 1: can't talk to us about anything. However, I think there
- 20:33Speaker 1: are some little fun things that each parent can share
- 20:37Speaker 1: with their kid that are harmless. that are truly categorized
- 20:41Speaker 1: as fun. We're talking about like candy or whatever. I'm
- 20:46Speaker 1: going to let you watch two more minutes of this
- 20:48Speaker 1: episode of her favorite show, but it has to be
- 20:51Speaker 1: in the harmless category. I'm in her agreement. Okay.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Like I'm, I want to be in her agreement too,
- 20:56Speaker 4: but I'm like, is this then do we have no disagreement?
- 20:59Speaker 4: Should I just like fight for the sake of fighting?
- 21:01Speaker 4: I'll counter that I guess. Yeah.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Okay. Alex just wants the drama. Alex is like, It's
- 21:08Speaker 1: a gateway drug.
- 21:10Speaker 5: Here, here.
- 21:13Speaker 4: It's not even about the children at this point. It's
- 21:15Speaker 4: about your partner. How are you keeping secrets?
- 21:18Speaker 1: I'm going to throw in one. The two of you
- 21:22Speaker 1: have a dinner planned. Okay.
- 21:24Speaker 5: Alex, let's just say you pick the restaurant. Is this
- 21:27Speaker 5: something me and my brothers, we deal with a lot.
- 21:29Speaker 5: You pick the restaurant and you're like, all right, we're
- 21:31Speaker 5: going to go here.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Friday night. Perfect. I'm going to interrupt you already because
- 21:36Speaker 1: I know where this is going. He hasn't asked you
- 21:38Speaker 1: what kind of food you want or what, you know,
- 21:42Speaker 1: what kind of vibe is. He's just, he's taking it
- 21:45Speaker 1: upon himself. He's like, oh, this is where we're going
- 21:47Speaker 1: to dinner. And he's already pissed off that we are
- 21:49Speaker 1: going to be pissed about which place he picked. But
- 21:50Speaker 1: go ahead, Joe. We know where this is going. I
- 21:53Speaker 1: wasn't even finished yet. So then, you know, Nobody responds
- 21:57Speaker 1: to the group text. I'm like, all right. And everybody,
- 21:59Speaker 1: some people like it in the group text. All right.
- 22:01Speaker 1: So I assume this is, we're going to get it.
- 22:02Speaker 1: We're going to go. Friday comes in there. I'm like,
- 22:04Speaker 1: Hey guys.
- 22:05Speaker 5: So the reservation set for 8 PM. And then now
- 22:07Speaker 5: that you get the text, like, Oh, I'm like, what?
- 22:10Speaker 5: And they're like, Oh, just like. We didn't even get
- 22:13Speaker 5: a chance to pick a spot. But you guys never
- 22:14Speaker 5: even hit me up.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Alex, are you in.
- 22:17Speaker 5: Agreement that you should stick to the plan here and
- 22:19Speaker 5: you go to this restaurant? He hasn't checked with us besides.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Telling us we're going here.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I just said, hey, guys, this place looks good. And
- 22:26Speaker 1: they're like, thumbs up. And they never said really. Now
- 22:29Speaker 1: you're changing the story. You just gaslit both of us.
- 22:35Speaker 4: I'm going to say if you guys liked the restaurant,
- 22:37Speaker 4: what's the problem?
- 22:38Speaker 1: No, no, no. We didn't like the restaurant. Let's back
- 22:39Speaker 1: it up one degree. See, Alex, be on my side here.
- 22:43Speaker 1: He said, I picked the place, booked the reservation. He's
- 22:47Speaker 1: basically saying, I did all this work, found the place.
- 22:50Speaker 1: He hasn't actually asked for our opinion or like if
- 22:52Speaker 1: we were feeling that kind of vibe for dinner. And
- 22:54Speaker 1: so we've just said, oh, it would have been nice
- 22:56Speaker 1: if we could be involved.
- 22:58Speaker 4: But you liked it?
- 22:58Speaker 1: Then he gets upset because he did all this legwork.
- 23:00Speaker 1: As if it's hard for Joe Jonas to call a
- 23:02Speaker 1: restaurant and make a reservation.
- 23:04Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 23:05Speaker 4: Was there a like involved?
- 23:06Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you. Did you like it last time?
- 23:08Speaker 3: No, we never liked it. It was just like, hey guys,
- 23:11Speaker 3: I booked this spot for us on Friday. What do
- 23:12Speaker 3: you mean you never liked it? You liked it, Kevin.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Is that what happened? Yeah, you liked that text.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Here we go again, remembering things differently.
- 23:19Speaker 1: It's true. What would you do in this scenario, even
- 23:21Speaker 1: though it's very unclear what the scenario is? I'm a
- 23:24Speaker 1: little bit confused.
- 23:25Speaker 4: But it seems like you guys are just really picky
- 23:28Speaker 4: with your food.
- 23:29Speaker 1: It's true. Well, the most recent example, and maybe this
- 23:32Speaker 1: will help make it more clear, is that we were
- 23:34Speaker 1: trying to decide on a place to do an after
- 23:36Speaker 1: party for one of our shows. And Joe took it
- 23:39Speaker 1: upon himself to reach out to the owner of the place.
- 23:41Speaker 1: And it was really nice for him to do all
- 23:43Speaker 1: that work. And we ended up being very excited that
- 23:46Speaker 1: it was all set up by the end. But we
- 23:47Speaker 1: were like, hey, before you did that work to have
- 23:50Speaker 1: set it up, it would have been nice for us to. Okay.
- 23:52Speaker 4: See, that I agree with.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Cheat Earl Grease.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Alex.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Cheat Earl Grease.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Different scenarios. Dinner and after party are two different things.
- 24:02Speaker 3: He did, he did, um, you know, set up the
- 24:05Speaker 3: conversation to be better in his favor on that one
- 24:07Speaker 3: for sure.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Well, kind of.
- 24:10Speaker 4: That is the thing though. Like when I'm telling a story,
- 24:12Speaker 4: I say all the points that are going to make
- 24:14Speaker 4: me sound right and better. And I leave out anything
- 24:17Speaker 4: that could be like, well, you know, and then if
- 24:19Speaker 4: she remembers, she remembers.
- 24:21Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:21Speaker 1: That's the best way to do it.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Leave out all the things that make you sound negative. Yeah.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I mean, I guess. I could, I've sort of done
- 24:30Speaker 1: that too and say, I didn't even, Kevin liked the message.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I didn't even respond, which is anyway.
- 24:36Speaker 4: And then what did you learn for next time? Did we,
- 24:38Speaker 4: did we settle on something moving forward?
- 24:40Speaker 5: We learned from next time is that the third place
- 24:43Speaker 5: that we, that Nick chose, I will say was, was
- 24:46Speaker 5: the best place of it was one of the better
- 24:48Speaker 5: spots so whoa but i but my spot was was
- 24:54Speaker 5: awesome too but nick had an outdoor space which was
- 24:57Speaker 5: and that makes a difference.
- 24:58Speaker 1: You know an outdoor space is nice should we go
- 25:00Speaker 1: on to our next bit which is uh we've got
- 25:02Speaker 1: some voicemails uh here from some of our oh our
- 25:05Speaker 1: listeners on the hey jumps podcast i've got some questions
- 25:07Speaker 1: for you Either for you or just general questions, kind
- 25:11Speaker 1: of asking advice on things that none of us are
- 25:12Speaker 1: really qualified to answer. Perfect.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Let's do it.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Legal problems.
- 25:15Speaker 4: I'm horrible at advice.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Let's do it. Roofing issues, whatever it may be.
- 25:18Speaker 7: Hey, Jonas.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 25:20Speaker 9: First of all, I love you guys so much and
- 25:23Speaker 9: I'm really loving this podcast.
- 25:25Speaker 7: So thank you guys for making it. This is awesome.
- 25:29Speaker 9: And I think that all the advice you guys have
- 25:30Speaker 9: been giving has been really awesome. So I thought I
- 25:34Speaker 9: would call in and see if maybe you could help me.
- 25:38Speaker 9: So my husband and I have been together for a
- 25:41Speaker 9: really long time. We've been married for six years and
- 25:45Speaker 9: lately we've just had like no intimacy like at all. Um, it's,
- 25:51Speaker 9: it's just been a minute and we just haven't been
- 25:56Speaker 9: intimate and I honestly don't know what to do.
- 26:01Speaker 7: I mean, I love him more than anything. I love
- 26:03Speaker 7: him so much. And I truly cannot imagine not being
- 26:08Speaker 7: with him.
- 26:08Speaker 9: But this is also like, you know, it's a big deal.
- 26:12Speaker 9: And I'm really not happy.
- 26:14Speaker 1: So I.
- 26:17Speaker 7: Was just wondering if you think.
- 26:18Speaker 9: That this is something that as a couple is possible
- 26:22Speaker 9: to work through. Or do you think that lack of
- 26:24Speaker 9: intimacy sometimes is a sign that.
- 26:27Speaker 7: The relationship isn't working? Or I don't know. I would
- 26:31Speaker 7: love to hear what you guys think, though.
- 26:33Speaker 4: It's a great question.
- 26:34Speaker 1: It's a great question. Well, first of all, I'll be
- 26:36Speaker 1: a husband who doesn't listen to the nation's pocket.
- 26:38Speaker 4: I was thinking about.
- 26:39Speaker 5: That, too.
- 26:39Speaker 1: And knows your voice very well. Or, you know what?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Or they need to hear that. They need to hear
- 26:46Speaker 1: it out. Yeah, that's good. I'm curious, ladies, would you
- 26:49Speaker 1: like to start? Well, right.
- 26:50Speaker 4: We're not married. We're not married.
- 26:53Speaker 1: But I think in any relationship.
- 26:55Speaker 4: I mean, I would say, though, maybe setting up something like,
- 27:00Speaker 4: A romantic night, a romantic date night together, like maybe
- 27:04Speaker 4: making some time for something.
- 27:07Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:08Speaker 4: I don't know. Like at least making, I don't know
- 27:11Speaker 4: what she's done, but like making the efforts to set
- 27:14Speaker 4: up something and put yourself in that sort of like
- 27:17Speaker 4: romantic scenario and see what happens.
- 27:23Speaker 2: If you're like stuck in a routine, trying to like
- 27:26Speaker 2: do something a little different and like.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Exciting like throw on a wig and be like hey a.
- 27:30Speaker 6: Wig i don't know i love a wig yeah all
- 27:35Speaker 6: right to that point there's like the there's a um
- 27:38Speaker 6: what's that place in new york where it's like you're
- 27:42Speaker 6: kind of cosplaying as someone.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Wait, I don't know, but I don't know.
- 27:47Speaker 5: The box.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Please tell us. Oh, See No More, it's called. You
- 27:52Speaker 1: wear the mask. You go in the auditorium. Cosplaying as somebody.
- 27:55Speaker 1: You just wear a mask and go see a... No,
- 27:57Speaker 1: you obviously have not gone. Usually you play a character
- 27:59Speaker 1: while you're there. So there's a little bit of that.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Spice it up.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 1: There's a new one of those that's the Phantom of
- 28:04Speaker 1: the Opera, but it's an immersive experience. I've heard this
- 28:07Speaker 1: Phantom of the Opera show is incredible. Ooh, that sounds fun.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Do you play a character? You get to play the
- 28:12Speaker 1: Phantom of the Opera. No, you don't. So, yeah.
- 28:16Speaker 4: I feel like this has to be a very common issue.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Yes, definitely. For sure.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Do you know any advice from your married friends?
- 28:24Speaker 1: Well, Kevin and I are also married, and I can
- 28:28Speaker 1: say that both... I think both of your advice is
- 28:30Speaker 1: great to... make a romantic gesture, change things up. It's
- 28:35Speaker 1: easy to fall into certain patterns, not just in the
- 28:39Speaker 1: romantic sense or intimate sense, but in general with your person.
- 28:43Speaker 1: That's both a good thing and at times can be
- 28:46Speaker 1: a roadblock if you're trying to keep things fun and light.
- 28:50Speaker 1: And as the pressures of adulting for anybody, either in
- 28:53Speaker 1: a serious committed relationship or not, mount up in life,
- 28:58Speaker 1: you can easily lose sight of that fun aspect that
- 29:01Speaker 1: keeps a relationship fresh and, you know, the whole point
- 29:04Speaker 1: is that you should be enjoying your time with the
- 29:06Speaker 1: person and, and it should be, uh, a great ride
- 29:10Speaker 1: and spending life with them. So I, I think your
- 29:13Speaker 1: points are great. And then also I think sometimes it's
- 29:15Speaker 1: as simple as, and, and, you know, this is, this
- 29:20Speaker 1: is something that anybody can access. It's as simple as
- 29:23Speaker 1: just sitting down and just thinking of new questions to
- 29:26Speaker 1: ask your person about life and about your romantic relationship
- 29:30Speaker 1: that like Change up the energy so you don't fall into,
- 29:33Speaker 1: how was your day? How was this? i think i
- 29:35Speaker 1: think those are.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Those are keys that's great advice for me i think
- 29:39Speaker 3: it would need to start with communication between the two
- 29:42Speaker 3: straight up be like these are the things that i'm
- 29:44Speaker 3: feeling these you may not be feeling them but it's
- 29:46Speaker 3: causing a hurdle for me to get over and i
- 29:50Speaker 3: think if we can talk about it it will at
- 29:52Speaker 3: least break the tension so we like stop like kind
- 29:55Speaker 3: of hiding around the elephant in the room kind of thing.
- 29:58Speaker 3: I think that that's important. I think communication in that regard,
- 30:01Speaker 3: of course, is key. Everyone says that, but I like,
- 30:02Speaker 3: I truly mean like having a very upfront conversation. Like
- 30:05Speaker 3: I'm a little unhappy and I don't know if this
- 30:07Speaker 3: means that something's wrong, but we should talk about it.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Excellent.
- 30:10Speaker 1: You guys are really good at giving advice. So you
- 30:12Speaker 1: can get back to the, I said, wear a wig. Exactly. Yeah.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Figure it out. Intimacy is very important. Any type of relationship. Okay.
- 30:22Speaker 1: We have bullet questions. We ask all our guests to
- 30:24Speaker 1: pull the question. They're totally random. They have nothing to
- 30:26Speaker 1: do with your life or career, your TikToks. They are
- 30:31Speaker 1: just purely random. What'd you get?
- 30:34Speaker 4: What's the food you'd still eat after it fell on
- 30:36Speaker 4: the floor? Probably anything.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Alex will eat anything.
- 30:39Speaker 1: I am not super, like... A pork roll and cream cheese.
- 30:43Speaker 4: Well, maybe not that, actually, because the cream cheese could, like,
- 30:46Speaker 4: stick to something on the floor. But, like, let's say, like,
- 30:49Speaker 4: a little pretzel, a little something. As long as it's not...
- 30:53Speaker 4: dicky in any regards like yeah i'm not super like
- 30:57Speaker 4: a germaphobe right.
- 30:59Speaker 2: She's the opposite of a germaphobe actually okay well i'm
- 31:03Speaker 2: not disgusting but.
- 31:08Speaker 4: I don't know i don't think it's the biggest deal
- 31:10Speaker 4: in the world.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I'm with you yeah i think it's like the five
- 31:13Speaker 1: to ten to fifteen.
- 31:13Speaker 4: Second rule i also am okay well this isn't gonna
- 31:17Speaker 4: help the non-disgust argument here but I also think sometimes
- 31:22Speaker 4: building up your immunity is good.
- 31:24Speaker 1: I agree. Totally. The people who are wiping.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Down every single little thing, I really never get sick.
- 31:30Speaker 4: I just came back from a trip. Everyone has the
- 31:32Speaker 4: flu after. I'm here.
- 31:34Speaker 1: I'm here. Knock on wood. By the way, I'm right
- 31:37Speaker 1: there with you. I'm right there with you. Everybody got
- 31:39Speaker 1: hit with something. Sometimes you got to rub some dirt
- 31:42Speaker 1: in it, is what my mom used to say. Four
- 31:44Speaker 1: boys growing up, she was like, they'll be fine. No, no, no.
- 31:47Speaker 1: The first.
- 31:49Speaker 1: First child, you're like, ah. Second, you're like, they're fine. Yeah.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Fourth child, it's like... Who are you? Yeah, it's like,
- 31:56Speaker 1: he comes and goes. He'll be around maybe next week.
- 32:00Speaker 1: We'll see him by Christmas. Okay. Okay. Ash, what do
- 32:04Speaker 1: you got?
- 32:05Speaker 2: You have to convince an alien that you're important enough
- 32:07Speaker 2: to keep alive. What's your argument?
- 32:09Speaker 1: That's a great question. Is it good? My argument would be.
- 32:14Speaker 2: that I have so many good outfits that I haven't
- 32:17Speaker 2: gotten to wear and show the world yet, and I
- 32:20Speaker 2: would be doing a disservice to everyone if I didn't
- 32:22Speaker 2: get to do that.
- 32:23Speaker 1: That's fantastic. That's the right answer. That's a great answer.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Thank you. I love that.
- 32:29Speaker 5: You just haven't seen me with all my new fits
- 32:31Speaker 5: that I just put together.
- 32:32Speaker 1: You don't understand. I'm not done yet. I'm doing a disservice.
- 32:35Speaker 1: They still have a tag on them.
- 32:37Speaker 2: I have a five-year plan of all my looks, and
- 32:40Speaker 2: we're building on it. Do you actually?
- 32:41Speaker 1: You can't cut it. No, but I might. That would
- 32:44Speaker 1: be incredible.
- 32:45Speaker 4: I might.
- 32:46Speaker 1: You never know.
- 32:47Speaker 4: Don't doubt her.
- 32:48Speaker 1: But we appreciate you both coming on. Congrats on your show.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Thank you guys so much for having us. We look
- 32:52Speaker 1: forward to meeting your big Jersey family at some point.
- 32:55Speaker 1: All your pets. Yeah, we should do that.
- 32:58Speaker 4: We'll do a big family outing.
- 33:01Speaker 1: That'd be great. We'll do it at Ken's house. Oh
- 33:04Speaker 1: my gosh.
- 33:05Speaker 4: I forgot to tell you guys. Fun fact, you were
- 33:07Speaker 4: my first concert I've ever.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Ever been to. That's how you end this?
- 33:12Speaker 4: PNC, you know it. And I was like 13 and
- 33:15Speaker 4: afraid to dance in front of my parents. So I
- 33:17Speaker 4: stood there like this the whole time, didn't move, didn't sing.
- 33:20Speaker 4: My parents were like, hello. And I was like, embarrassed
- 33:23Speaker 4: to dance in front of my dad, so I didn't
- 33:24Speaker 4: do anything, but I had the best time ever. Wow.
- 33:28Speaker 4: Next time we'll be dancing.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Yeah, we'll have to come see
- 33:31Speaker 1: the next time. Well, thanks for having us on.
- 33:33Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 33:33Speaker 1: This was so fun. Thank you for joining us.
- 33:35Speaker 4: Nice meeting you guys.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Bye.
- 33:37Speaker 4: See you. Bye.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Bye-bye.
