- 0:00Speaker 1: W r t e R Real Talk Radio injured guest
- 0:04Speaker 1: DJs like digital shows, the hottest DJs from around the world.
- 0:12Speaker 2: All right, I mean, I guess welcome to the serious
- 0:18Speaker 2: finale of America. Another new week here on w r
- 0:26Speaker 2: t R Real Talk Radio. I don't know what to say.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Haven't pick your name yet.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I ain't they pick something nice and colorful formata.
- 0:44Speaker 4: Man, because they then sent us back four hundred years.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Oh lord, mm hmmmm.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I feel like America's stepped out the shower and like
- 0:54Speaker 2: put his dirty panties back on.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Mm hmmm.
- 0:57Speaker 2: It just like, honestly, I don't know how to feel.
- 1:06Speaker 4: It's sad, but I can honestly say that I'm not surprised.
- 1:13Speaker 2: It's not shocked. Okay, so it's not shocking, it's the
- 1:16Speaker 2: least it's not. But it's disappointing in a way that
- 1:23Speaker 2: I didn't think that I would feel in my lifetime,
- 1:29Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. Yeah, And I mean, I
- 1:32Speaker 2: guess we'll get more so into it, I mean as
- 1:36Speaker 2: the show develops. But I mean, the best thing I
- 1:41Speaker 2: can say for me is my mood this week somber.
- 1:48Speaker 2: But I mean, I can't stop existing. I can't stop,
- 1:53Speaker 2: you know, working, you know, because I gotta eat and
- 1:59Speaker 2: up until somebody tells me to do something that I'm
- 2:03Speaker 2: not gonna do. That, you know, ultimately means that my
- 2:09Speaker 2: life is no longer here. I mean, then I just
- 2:12Speaker 2: have to live life. You just have to do what
- 2:14Speaker 2: I have to do. And I'm still gonna laugh at
- 2:17Speaker 2: shit because shit is funny. I'm gonna laugh up until
- 2:20Speaker 2: the very end because I am. What about you, what's
- 2:25Speaker 2: your mood looking like this weakness lyric?
- 2:29Speaker 3: My mood this week is.
- 2:37Speaker 4: I have to say I have a different range of emotions.
- 2:42Speaker 4: I got mad, sad over it, and now it's to
- 2:48Speaker 4: the point now it's like I'm all right because what
- 2:53Speaker 4: I do realize is I'm not arguing with nobody. I'm
- 2:57Speaker 4: not debating with a soul about how I feel. I'm
- 3:02Speaker 4: not trying to convince anybody of anything of why they.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Shouldn't have voted this way.
- 3:08Speaker 4: And guess what if you made that conscious decision after
- 3:14Speaker 4: somebody blatantly told you who they.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Were over and over and you.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Serve everything that you get to experience. And I just
- 3:28Speaker 4: feel sad for the rest of us who have to
- 3:30Speaker 4: put up with it because of something that the rest
- 3:34Speaker 4: of the people then chose. We got to deal with
- 3:37Speaker 4: the consequences of this toxic relationship.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I mean, it really is under a Trump presidency with
- 3:46Speaker 2: the majority Republican Senate. I mean, outside of the microaggressions
- 3:53Speaker 2: that we only got to tast stuff to do. Did
- 3:55Speaker 2: you see on social media people talking about you know,
- 3:58Speaker 2: they are literally posting status messages right now talking about
- 4:02Speaker 2: kay Landers posted if it's if slavery come back? Who
- 4:05Speaker 2: I want to be mine? I swear I'm gonna be
- 4:07Speaker 2: the coolest mass of Yeah like that that they don't
- 4:12Speaker 2: like everything is a goddamn joke. And this is what
- 4:16Speaker 2: I've been talking about for years on this show, and
- 4:19Speaker 2: people have been getting down on me about you know,
- 4:22Speaker 2: oh well, you know you want to say this that dirt.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I mean, you know, people being just joking. You know comedians,
- 4:28Speaker 2: you know you're a comedian. First off, I'm not a comedian.
- 4:31Speaker 2: But secondly, even if I was a comedian and the
- 4:34Speaker 2: few people that find me funny, you can also be
- 4:37Speaker 2: funny and not offensive. But when you're like, when you
- 4:43Speaker 2: say those things, they ultimately snowball into situations just like this.
- 4:51Speaker 2: There's so much this course going on back and forth
- 4:55Speaker 2: between so many different demographics. It's a like, I bet
- 5:00Speaker 2: the unfriend button has never been used more than it
- 5:06Speaker 2: has been used today. And I'm not talking about just me.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I'm not just talking about me. I'm calling talking about
- 5:11Speaker 2: across the board because niggas are just bickering. Like I
- 5:15Speaker 2: turned on Facebook this morning, probably like five o'clock in
- 5:19Speaker 2: the morning because I go on Instagram and I look
- 5:22Speaker 2: at Black Enterprise and I see all the different achievements
- 5:25Speaker 2: and stuff. And for those of y'all that follow my stories,
- 5:28Speaker 2: you know, that's kind of like my morning routine. So
- 5:31Speaker 2: it gets me in that mood, it gets me motivated.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I'm looking at what other professionals and what other you know,
- 5:38Speaker 2: people are aspiring to do, and it motivates me to
- 5:41Speaker 2: go out here into the world and do a little
- 5:43Speaker 2: bit more and be a little bit better. And you know,
- 5:48Speaker 2: I don't know, it's a lot, but you know it.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I'm optimistic, at least for now and largely probably because
- 5:58Speaker 2: of these edibles. But we're gonna get right on any
- 6:02Speaker 2: but under Trump presidency with a majority Republican Senate, here
- 6:06Speaker 2: are a few things and a few key areas where
- 6:10Speaker 2: we might see changes environmental regulations. So expect to see
- 6:16Speaker 2: a diminishing focus on climate change initiatives and environmental protections.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I mean, that is what it is. This may lead
- 6:24Speaker 2: to increased support for fossil fuel industries and a rollback
- 6:29Speaker 2: of regulations aimed at protecting air and water quality. So
- 6:33Speaker 2: we're all out there concerned about your babies drinking lead
- 6:37Speaker 2: in the water. Guess what you voted for this yeap
- 6:42Speaker 2: healthcare access. The Affordable Care Act, often targeted by Republican lawmakers,
- 6:47Speaker 2: may face renewed efforts of repeal or dismantle it entirely.
- 6:52Speaker 2: This could result in millions losing access to affordable health care,
- 6:57Speaker 2: particularly for those with the existing conditions. As the push
- 7:02Speaker 2: for alternative healthcare models gain traction reproductive rights with the
- 7:09Speaker 2: Conservative Senate, we could see increased attempts to restrict access.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I mean Trump has already talked about the things that
- 7:16Speaker 2: he wants to do in his press secretary even today
- 7:19Speaker 2: she said she confirmed she was like, oh, just be
- 7:24Speaker 2: clear on the first presidency, there will be deportations. Yeah,
- 7:30Speaker 2: Like he didn't just say it for fundsies. So all
- 7:34Speaker 2: of y'all that sat back and were you know what
- 7:36Speaker 2: we're gonna get into that later. Voting rights. There may
- 7:39Speaker 2: be efforts to implement stricter votering regulations such as voter
- 7:44Speaker 2: ID laws, and reduce access to early voting and mail
- 7:47Speaker 2: in ballots. Civil rights protections, protections for LGBTQ individuals, particularly
- 7:54Speaker 2: in areas such as housing and employment, they maybe rolled back.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Expect to see challenges and changes to policies that promote
- 8:03Speaker 2: inclusivity and equality, reflecting a more conservative stance on civil
- 8:07Speaker 2: rights issues. So that trans coworker this in your office
- 8:11Speaker 2: and everybody loves well, yeah, well they might not be
- 8:14Speaker 2: there under Trump presidency because the protections that allow that
- 8:21Speaker 2: person to not be discriminated against in your workplace may
- 8:25Speaker 2: be rolled back. Yeah, Immigration policies, the previous hard line
- 8:32Speaker 2: immigration policies could be reinstated or intensified, leading to increased deportations. Again,
- 8:38Speaker 2: she's already said this, so expect that. Expect your babies
- 8:42Speaker 2: being I mean, they had them in cages last time.
- 8:45Speaker 3: The wait forget Yeah, changes obviously.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I mean and unless the changes it does, there's these
- 8:54Speaker 2: changes unfold. It'd be crucial for citizens to remain engaged
- 8:58Speaker 2: advocate for their rights. The mobilized efforts pushed back against
- 9:02Speaker 2: potential rollbacks of progress made in recent years. That's the
- 9:05Speaker 2: best I can tell you. But this is what we
- 9:06Speaker 2: voted for America. So here we are.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Congratulations, must pay out we did.
- 9:16Speaker 2: But on a lighter note, when I grow up, I
- 9:19Speaker 2: want to be like Beyonce, because, in a historic milestone
- 9:23Speaker 2: that cements her legacy, the doll has officially become the
- 9:27Speaker 2: best selling black female artists of all time, with a
- 9:31Speaker 2: staggering three hundred and fifty million records sold globally. I mean,
- 9:37Speaker 2: that's right. Work, go ahead, b.
- 9:41Speaker 3: And we still having the dance fucking party.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Bitch, We really are, really are.
- 9:50Speaker 3: All right.
- 9:51Speaker 4: When I grew up, I want to be like Rayshinda Las.
- 9:57Speaker 4: She's not o'clock, but stay clocking it, And.
- 10:01Speaker 3: For that, I say thank you. Who is Yashanda is a.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Creator, an author, a diversity advocate. She's a host, a philanthropist.
- 10:16Speaker 4: She has two point three million followers on TikTok. Miss
- 10:21Speaker 4: Mama's spoke a couple of days ago at the Woman's
- 10:25Speaker 4: March and here in DC, letting people know, especially women,
- 10:31Speaker 4: how important it is.
- 10:33Speaker 3: To get out and vote.
- 10:35Speaker 4: And the reason why I chose her is because not
- 10:38Speaker 4: only is she how entertaining, but she reminds me of us.
- 10:47Speaker 4: She with the of you and I.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Yes we're not great people, Well I'm.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes we are.
- 10:57Speaker 4: How we entertain the people and educate the people at
- 11:00Speaker 4: the same time. This is something that she has made
- 11:07Speaker 4: a great niche out of and I just wanted to
- 11:11Speaker 4: celebrate her because all this week she has been dropping
- 11:15Speaker 4: gems and encouraging people to just get out there and vote,
- 11:21Speaker 4: letting people know even today that it's okay. Things didn't
- 11:25Speaker 4: go the way that we thought it would, but the
- 11:29Speaker 4: fight is not going to stop. We will continue to
- 11:33Speaker 4: press on. We will continue to move forward. One monkey,
- 11:37Speaker 4: don't stop, no show. So if you guys want to
- 11:41Speaker 4: follow her, her instagram is at shop Underscore AIF and
- 11:47Speaker 4: her name is Reshonda Lyas and baby girl.
- 11:51Speaker 3: For that, I say thank you.
- 11:57Speaker 2: That's awesome. All right. So let's see. So I picked
- 12:04Speaker 2: a really funny letter for if it were lyrics, so
- 12:07Speaker 2: you know, kind of raise the mood a little bit.
- 12:10Speaker 2: So I guess we can get into that up next,
- 12:14Speaker 2: you know, because the only way I was able to
- 12:18Speaker 2: get through this day is very had a heavy edible usage.
- 12:22Speaker 2: After I got home so let's just let's watch, let's
- 12:27Speaker 2: just see where their adventure takes up.
- 12:32Speaker 5: Next to the young people who are watching, it is
- 12:36Speaker 5: okay to feel sad and disappointed, but please know what's
- 12:41Speaker 5: going to be okay. On the campaign, I would often say,
- 12:46Speaker 5: when we fight, we win.
- 12:48Speaker 3: But here's the thing. Here's the thing.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Sometimes the fight takes a while. That doesn't mean.
- 12:55Speaker 3: We won't win.
- 12:56Speaker 5: That doesn't mean we won't win. The important thing is,
- 13:02Speaker 5: don't ever give up. Don't ever give up, don't ever
- 13:06Speaker 5: stop trying to make the world a better place.
- 13:11Speaker 3: You have power.
- 13:13Speaker 5: You have power, and don't you ever listen when anyone
- 13:18Speaker 5: tells you something is impossible because it has never been
- 13:23Speaker 5: done before. You have the capacity to do extraordinary good
- 13:29Speaker 5: in the world. And so that everyone who is watching,
- 13:34Speaker 5: do not despair. This is not a time to throw
- 13:38Speaker 5: up our hands. This is a time to roll up
- 13:40Speaker 5: our sleeves.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Maybe not what you should use, but definitely she.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Would, Hey, what's going on you guys?
- 13:51Speaker 4: It's your girl, miss Lyric, And I'm back with my
- 13:53Speaker 4: segment if it were Lyric, where I give my two
- 13:55Speaker 4: cents about your situationships, friendships, relationship and all that in between.
- 14:01Speaker 4: If you guys want to continue to send me your
- 14:03Speaker 4: advice questions, please send them to my Gmail at Lyric
- 14:07Speaker 4: Bravado at gmail dot com, or you can DM me
- 14:10Speaker 4: on Twitter, slash x, whatever you want to call it.
- 14:16Speaker 4: For a limited matter of time, I'm most peace, book
- 14:21Speaker 4: and Instagram at Lyric Bravado.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Now let's get into it. This first.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Letter that I received does want to remain anonymous, and
- 14:31Speaker 4: it reads, Dear Lyric, I am a dual citizen in
- 14:37Speaker 4: the United States. My husband is American and we have
- 14:41Speaker 4: been talking about having children, but the unrest from the
- 14:44Speaker 4: election has really changed my mind about having children here. Ever,
- 14:49Speaker 4: no matter the album, his is not a financial issue either.
- 14:54Speaker 4: I am decently well off from my job. I'm an engineer.
- 14:58Speaker 4: The issue is this country literally terrifies me right now.
- 15:03Speaker 4: It's not the country I moved to in college. It's horrifying.
- 15:06Speaker 4: And every day I talk to anyone, or walk down
- 15:09Speaker 4: the street or see someone talking about their political affiliation here,
- 15:14Speaker 4: it makes me seize up.
- 15:16Speaker 3: I become very uncomfortable.
- 15:18Speaker 4: I feel like I'm my great grandma watching Hitler come
- 15:21Speaker 4: into power. She described the realization to me once in
- 15:26Speaker 4: Man it feels eerie. Honestly, it doesn't matter who wins,
- 15:31Speaker 4: it's that we're surrounded by people whose views disturb me.
- 15:34Speaker 4: At this point, we live in.
- 15:36Speaker 3: A red state.
- 15:38Speaker 4: I've already began to look at houses in Canada. I've
- 15:42Speaker 4: been telling my husband for a while three years, that
- 15:45Speaker 4: I don't want to live here anymore. But tonight I
- 15:48Speaker 4: put my foot down and I told him I will
- 15:51Speaker 4: not be having children here ever. It's a deciding factor.
- 15:57Speaker 4: I don't want to raise children here. I don't want
- 15:59Speaker 4: to be here. I don't want to be pregnant here.
- 16:02Speaker 4: He keeps saying, why are you being like this? But
- 16:05Speaker 4: I don't know how to explain it any better. Can
- 16:08Speaker 4: you help? I think you explained it perfectly. Whether you
- 16:14Speaker 4: went into detail, I'm not sure. Don't know the extent
- 16:18Speaker 4: of the conversation. Don't know if you want to. Maybe
- 16:21Speaker 4: try going into more detail and explaining him exactly what
- 16:24Speaker 4: you wrote into in the letter to me.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Tell him how you feel.
- 16:27Speaker 4: On how you experience things in everyday life, and that's
- 16:33Speaker 4: why you feel the way that you feel about having
- 16:35Speaker 4: children here. Because honestly, a lot of Americans feel that
- 16:40Speaker 4: way too, So you are not alone.
- 16:42Speaker 3: A lot of us feel like man, we want to
- 16:45Speaker 3: leave about it here.
- 16:47Speaker 4: We feel the same way that we did Back in
- 16:50Speaker 4: twenty sixteen when this first happened, a lot of people
- 16:54Speaker 4: was trying to move to Africa, a lot of people
- 16:56Speaker 4: was trying to go to Canada.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Canada said absolutely.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Not right over there. They don't bring you.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Listen, you can't stay here. Seats tiking. Yeah, they said
- 17:11Speaker 3: all of that.
- 17:12Speaker 4: So I understand, and your feelings are completely valid.
- 17:17Speaker 3: So is your choice.
- 17:20Speaker 4: You do not have to have children in a country
- 17:23Speaker 4: where you don't feel safe, where you don't feel validated,
- 17:27Speaker 4: where you feel as though it.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Would be more harmful than good.
- 17:31Speaker 4: That is your decision, because guess where, it's still your body,
- 17:36Speaker 4: your choice, regardless, regardless. So I would definitely go into
- 17:43Speaker 4: more detail with him and tell him why you feel
- 17:47Speaker 4: that way. You just saying it, versus going into detail
- 17:53Speaker 4: and telling him that your your real experiences may change
- 17:57Speaker 4: the way that he it's open to it and understanding
- 18:03Speaker 4: of it. So I would try that and in any case,
- 18:08Speaker 4: if it don't work, Girl like the girl we're shying to,
- 18:12Speaker 4: said booth, there's a courthouse lift something called the sound. Girl,
- 18:28Speaker 4: do what you're gonna do?
- 18:30Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, that's all mean all right, So second one
- 18:38Speaker 2: and last one will end on a happy new all right.
- 18:42Speaker 2: The subject line that reads needs some lyric wisdom for
- 18:46Speaker 2: a hilarious situation? Am I dragging by the way? Okay, hey,
- 18:56Speaker 2: lyric I hope this message finds you all in high spirit.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I'm writing to you because I found myself in a
- 19:03Speaker 2: rather comical predicament. And who better to turn to than
- 19:06Speaker 2: the people that regularly make me laugh and get me
- 19:08Speaker 2: through the week. So here's a scooter. I recently decided
- 19:13Speaker 2: to host a quote culinary challenge night end Quote with
- 19:19Speaker 2: my friends, fully convinced that I could channel my inner
- 19:22Speaker 2: Gordon Ramsay, everything was going fine until I decided to
- 19:27Speaker 2: take a bold leap and create my own version of
- 19:30Speaker 2: a gourmet pizza. I mean, who doesn't love pizza? Right?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Mm hmm. Well I got a little too creative with
- 19:37Speaker 2: the toppings. So picture this. I'm taking pickles, gummy bears,
- 19:41Speaker 2: and wait for it, sir roches sauce. I thought it
- 19:44Speaker 2: was I thought I was a culinary genius. But when
- 19:47Speaker 2: my friends took their first bites, the looks on their
- 19:51Speaker 2: faces was a mix of horror and confusion. One friend
- 19:54Speaker 2: even asked if I was trying to summon a food
- 19:57Speaker 2: related curves.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Now up with the mountain of.
- 20:01Speaker 2: These bizarre pizzas, and my friends are threatening the stage
- 20:04Speaker 2: of protest if I ever attempt to cook again. UH.
- 20:08Speaker 2: To make matters worse, my competitive spirit has u has
- 20:11Speaker 2: been considering a pizza redemption night where I try to
- 20:14Speaker 2: make normal pizza, but they're not having it so lyric.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Here's where I need your help. How do I win
- 20:21Speaker 2: back my friends and redeemed by culinary reputation without losing
- 20:25Speaker 2: my sense of humor? Should I embrace the chaos and
- 20:29Speaker 2: throw a crazy pizza party where everyone has to try
- 20:32Speaker 2: my concoctions, or should I stick to the classic pepperoni?
- 20:35Speaker 2: I could really use your advice on how to turn
- 20:38Speaker 2: this UH disaster into a win. Thanks for being the
- 20:42Speaker 2: voice of reason and laughter in my life. Can't wait
- 20:45Speaker 2: to hear y'all's thoughts. Cheesy but hopeful.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Not Gordon ramsay, of course you're not because you're gonna
- 20:51Speaker 4: kill somebody. You might as well made it chipping pizza
- 21:00Speaker 4: with peanut butter and jelly as the sauce.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Like, what are we doing here? Okay child?
- 21:11Speaker 4: Now I'm not eating it and shout out to your
- 21:15Speaker 4: friends were even taking a bite out of it, y'all,
- 21:18Speaker 4: the real troopers, y'all, the real m vps.
- 21:21Speaker 2: And know what they was like, you know what, this
- 21:25Speaker 2: is a little strange, But she my girl, so you
- 21:29Speaker 2: know what, I'm a trial Katie's uh, you know, her
- 21:33Speaker 2: weird pizza and ship, you know, because and then they
- 21:36Speaker 2: bit into it, and now everybody got diarrhea and everybody
- 21:42Speaker 2: throwing up, and you're sitting here writing letters the lyric
- 21:45Speaker 2: talking about what do I do to redeem my culinary reputation?
- 21:49Speaker 2: Girl again, never ever such an oven.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Now, I would put ingredients that actually go together, that
- 22:04Speaker 4: actually compliments each other. Because what you thought that was
- 22:08Speaker 4: gonna you said, pickles, I'm thinking yummy bears, sweet sarratcha
- 22:16Speaker 4: hot that don't go together at all.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Now, if you wanted something.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Like that, I could have suggested, like a hot honey
- 22:25Speaker 4: or something like that on normal ingredients.
- 22:30Speaker 3: I just listen.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Everybody's so created.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Next time, put that pizza as a gag on the
- 22:42Speaker 4: table in the far corner, far corner, where it's safe
- 22:45Speaker 4: from anybody's human consumption.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Don't you make no, don't you make this shain regular.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Don't do it before you hurt somebody, because food poisoning
- 23:01Speaker 4: is real out here, y'all be acting like since COVID,
- 23:06Speaker 4: the regular stuff don't even matter, Like no, no, no.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Oh my god, I just thought about it. We just
- 23:13Speaker 2: selected the person that walked around and told everybody not
- 23:16Speaker 2: to wear matt. It's about to be a whole bunch
- 23:19Speaker 2: of sneeze and nasty. I'm sorry, go ahead. We just.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Let the man who called it the kung flu Okay.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Did you swabs? Oh wow?
- 23:39Speaker 4: But in any case, That's all I got for y'all
- 23:41Speaker 4: this week. Please continue to send me your advice questions.
- 23:44Speaker 4: I appreciate them and I love reading them and helping
- 23:47Speaker 4: you with them. So again, send them to Lyric Pravido
- 23:50Speaker 4: at gmail dot com, or feel free to dm me
- 23:53Speaker 4: on Twitter, Instagram.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Or Facebook at Lord Bravido.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Till next time, names I guess up Next we are
- 24:02Speaker 2: trolling the timeline like I don't know Americ Control the.
- 24:08Speaker 6: Don't waste your time arguing with these motherfuckers about Tory Lanes.
- 24:12Speaker 3: There's no point.
- 24:13Speaker 6: Because bias aside. Let's just talk common sense. They don't
- 24:17Speaker 6: believe Meg because she lied about fucking Tory. They also
- 24:21Speaker 6: believed that Kelsey did. It's something that Tory himself has denied,
- 24:24Speaker 6: so by that logic, wouldn't he also be a liar,
- 24:27Speaker 6: one that put himself in prison by protecting the actual offender.
- 24:32Speaker 6: They are saying that the phone call of him apologizing
- 24:34Speaker 6: to Meg was him saying sorry for fucking two women.
- 24:37Speaker 6: But they also believe that Meg backdoord Kelsey, So why
- 24:41Speaker 6: would he be apologizing to Meg and not Kelsey?
- 24:44Speaker 3: And the thing is, I don't even think this is just.
- 24:46Speaker 6: A matter of love for Tory or hatred for Meg.
- 24:50Speaker 6: It's not even just about this one case. We are
- 24:53Speaker 6: arguing with people who will play mental gymnastics to defend
- 24:56Speaker 6: any man that is predatory or violent. The people defending
- 25:00Speaker 6: Tory Lanez are undoubtedly the same group that were saying
- 25:03Speaker 6: that those girls knew what they were doing when it
- 25:05Speaker 6: came to r Kelly. The same people that think that
- 25:07Speaker 6: everybody is lying about Chris Brown and that he's some
- 25:10Speaker 6: innocent little boy who made one mistake in two thousand
- 25:13Speaker 6: and nine, The same one still platforming Boosy and calling
- 25:16Speaker 6: him up when he admitted to facilitating sexual assault upon
- 25:19Speaker 6: his child.
- 25:20Speaker 3: They think he's a better father than Dwayne Wade.
- 25:22Speaker 6: Though, the same motherfuckers who believed that Bill Cosby only
- 25:25Speaker 6: got hemmed up because he was trying to buy NBC,
- 25:28Speaker 6: The same people who heard a case about prolific rape
- 25:30Speaker 6: and sex trafficking, but all they can focus on is
- 25:32Speaker 6: making jokes about baby oil. We're arguing with men who
- 25:35Speaker 6: probably harm women in their everyday lives and women who
- 25:39Speaker 6: think that good Kouchie is the reason that their boyfriend
- 25:42Speaker 6: knocks them upside the head. Yes, there is a hate
- 25:44Speaker 6: train against Meg thee Stallion because society hates sexually open
- 25:48Speaker 6: or liberated women. But behind every abuser, predator, or violent man,
- 25:53Speaker 6: there is a group of cheerleaders be abusive, b b abusive.
- 26:00Speaker 2: All right, we're back on academic I mean academic shit.
- 26:06Speaker 2: I'm sitting here reading a story about academics and anyways,
- 26:10Speaker 2: we're back here at Armageddon week, is what I was
- 26:12Speaker 2: trying to say. We're about to trol do timeline it is,
- 26:20Speaker 2: so let's get into what academics is talking about. So
- 26:25Speaker 2: he posted this picture. Shade Room reports they posted this picture.
- 26:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna catch y' all niggas tomorrow post a picture
- 26:33Speaker 2: with him and Donald Trump. Wow, Like it's wild and ironic.
- 26:40Speaker 2: The academics of all people would post to pick with
- 26:44Speaker 2: him while bumping Jez's my President. That's the thing. He
- 26:49Speaker 2: posted it on Instagram and then had My President playing
- 26:54Speaker 2: in the background that track, which celebrates Obama's historic win,
- 27:00Speaker 2: like all about hope and change. Seeing it paired with Trump?
- 27:04Speaker 2: Who is Trump? Yeah? You tried at academics, the stars
- 27:13Speaker 2: lock him up? Ain't supposed to be locked up? What happened?
- 27:16Speaker 4: Sometimes you gotta look at who the person is material.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I get it, and then.
- 27:24Speaker 4: Oh, that makes sense, just like it makes sense for
- 27:29Speaker 4: Amber Rose and ray j to be linked up at
- 27:34Speaker 4: the campaign headquarters with matching.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Make America Great Again? Hats mm hmm, makes sense.
- 27:44Speaker 2: All these clauset Uncle Tom's y'all up here protesting about
- 27:47Speaker 2: the gays being in the closet the whole time. Y'all
- 27:50Speaker 2: come like, do you want what? What's a bigger threat?
- 27:54Speaker 2: Me buck fucking another man or you can firing against
- 28:01Speaker 2: your own people. Who's the real threat?
- 28:04Speaker 3: I picked number two?
- 28:07Speaker 2: I mean, this is all a clear reminder that the
- 28:10Speaker 2: game has changed, and we need to really think about
- 28:13Speaker 2: what kind of leaders and messages that we're really supporting
- 28:17Speaker 2: out here in the street. Y'all attention, Speaking of which
- 28:23Speaker 2: DC young Fly says that he was unable to vote
- 28:26Speaker 2: due to an issue with the address on his license
- 28:32Speaker 2: and a Reason headline and a recent headline, DC Young
- 28:35Speaker 2: Fly revealed that he was unable to cast his vote
- 28:38Speaker 2: due to a mix up with the address on his
- 28:40Speaker 2: driver's license. The comedian and actor shared his frustration on
- 28:45Speaker 2: social media because we could help explaining that, explaining that
- 28:50Speaker 2: discrepancies between his registered voting address and the one listed
- 28:55Speaker 2: on his ID prevented him from participating in the election.
- 29:00Speaker 2: So I mean, do you want it or do you
- 29:04Speaker 2: want me to take it?
- 29:05Speaker 4: As much as I sympathize with his notion, I don't though,
- 29:12Speaker 4: because I feel like you have weeks and weeks and
- 29:14Speaker 4: weeks to get that stuff situated and taken care of
- 29:18Speaker 4: like that.
- 29:18Speaker 3: At that, at this point, you should have kept that
- 29:21Speaker 3: to yourself.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Don't just don't tell us.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Don't say nothing, y'all.
- 29:28Speaker 4: I don't know much worse him or Waka Flaka, who
- 29:32Speaker 4: also posted he didn't even vote. He's registered registered. He
- 29:40Speaker 4: put in my in my black face that he's registered
- 29:45Speaker 4: and been registered for years. Was able, had zero problem
- 29:53Speaker 4: and made the conscious choice to not vote.
- 30:01Speaker 3: What are we doing here?
- 30:05Speaker 2: I mean, I've been on I've been on this podcast
- 30:12Speaker 2: for twelve years now, yelling and screaming at y'all to read,
- 30:18Speaker 2: yelling and screaming at y'all to vote, yelling and screaming
- 30:22Speaker 2: for y'all to get involved, Get out here, find out
- 30:26Speaker 2: what's going on in the community around you. Stop hating women, and.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Here is sent.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Amen. Do you want to pivot because I got a
- 30:39Speaker 2: perfect segue from that too, Um.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Speaking of hating women. Second, I'm just playing did he
- 30:53Speaker 3: don't hate women? He just abuses them allegedly?
- 30:58Speaker 2: In that's it's all part of the package.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Kingcomb's Sean P Diddy, Cumb's son took to Instagram to
- 31:09Speaker 4: Reviville that he is taking over his father's Instagram account.
- 31:14Speaker 3: He wants to.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Let everybody know that it's time to go down memory
- 31:19Speaker 4: lane and showcase all of the positive things that he
- 31:23Speaker 4: has done.
- 31:24Speaker 3: And all of this was done in celebration for.
- 31:28Speaker 4: P Diddy's birthday, which I believe he was turned fifty
- 31:32Speaker 4: four fifty five, which was celebrated behind bars this year.
- 31:39Speaker 3: And to that, I say no thank you, because.
- 31:44Speaker 2: The kind of parties that the kind of parties that
- 31:47Speaker 2: you have. I don't even think I want them happening
- 31:50Speaker 2: behind jails. Wow yep. Speaking of Diddy in a recent headline,
- 31:57Speaker 2: that was revealed that Diddy has an alleged standards non
- 32:02Speaker 2: disclosure agreement for his studio session which includes which includes
- 32:08Speaker 2: some pretty strict clauses. So, according to leaked information, signees
- 32:14Speaker 2: are prohibited from giving interviews, writing books, are otherwise sharing
- 32:19Speaker 2: any information about Diddy and his projects. This move reflects
- 32:24Speaker 2: a broader trend in the entertainment industry where artists and
- 32:27Speaker 2: producers seek to protect their creative processes and personal lives
- 32:31Speaker 2: from outside scrutiny. However, it also raises questions about transparency
- 32:37Speaker 2: and the balance between privacy and the freedom of expression
- 32:40Speaker 2: for those to collaborate with him. So the NDAs, so,
- 32:47Speaker 2: I know that they've talked a lot about, you know,
- 32:49Speaker 2: people coming forward and how come this ain't you know,
- 32:52Speaker 2: how come so and so ain't saying such and such
- 32:55Speaker 2: and all this other stuff. And uh, I mean, I
- 32:59Speaker 2: guess because of these NBA's, but I don't know. I mean.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Critics might argue that the measures could you know, stifle
- 33:09Speaker 2: creativity and discourage open dialogue about the music making process.
- 33:13Speaker 2: While supporters may see it as a necessary step to
- 33:16Speaker 2: safeguard Diddy's brand and intellectual property, and the rest of
- 33:20Speaker 2: us look at it like what you.
- 33:23Speaker 4: Say nothing about who I? Who I fucked on in
- 33:26Speaker 4: that boot? I'm thinking please.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Speaking of harm abusive Oh, I'm sorry, did you have one?
- 33:37Speaker 4: No, I was gonna say, congratulations are in order for
- 33:42Speaker 4: Lisa Blant Rochester to become Delaware's first black female senator
- 33:48Speaker 4: and Angela also Brooke to become Maryland's first black female Senaday.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Maryland has winded up. We had Brandon Scott, we have
- 34:00Speaker 2: also Brooks, we had like we have five different niggas
- 34:03Speaker 2: in charge right now in Maryland. We'd be at our part.
- 34:07Speaker 2: What you was doing, what.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Y'all doing, showed up and showed down made history.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 34:16Speaker 3: I love to see.
- 34:18Speaker 2: I'm glad well. I was gonna pivot into Diddy and
- 34:22Speaker 2: then talk about other abusive men like Russell Simmons, a
- 34:27Speaker 2: woman who accused Russell Simmons of sexual assault in the nineties.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Blast plans that he's retired from Indonesia. He was he
- 34:44Speaker 2: was out there where he could not be extradited. That
- 34:49Speaker 2: nigga tues strided his ass right up, listen for me.
- 34:55Speaker 2: In a recent headline of woman who accused Russell Simmons
- 34:59Speaker 2: of sexual thought in the nineteen nineties publicly criticized claims
- 35:03Speaker 2: suggesting that he has retired peacefully in Indonesia. She expressed
- 35:07Speaker 2: her frustration, asserting that his alleged retirement is a way
- 35:13Speaker 2: to escape accountability for his past actions, rather than a
- 35:17Speaker 2: genuine withdrawal from the industry. This revelation highlights the ongoing
- 35:23Speaker 2: complexities of the Me Too movement, where survivors continue to
- 35:27Speaker 2: seek justice and recognition for their experiences even decades later.
- 35:32Speaker 2: And you know that shit is about to be ran
- 35:35Speaker 2: back to you and your you know your trauma that
- 35:42Speaker 2: this world has sent you through because America.
- 35:49Speaker 3: That's why they so did it.
- 35:50Speaker 4: It was like, oh no, you're gonna turn that past,
- 35:52Speaker 4: give me that passport because.
- 35:56Speaker 3: One got away. We making sure you ain't going no.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Motherfucker exactly, y'all not getting away with shit.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Wies.
- 36:15Speaker 4: It's expected to file a lawsuit against several artists, including Glowrilla,
- 36:23Speaker 4: Megan alien Or reported copyright infringement, according to documents obtained
- 36:30Speaker 4: by TMZ on Wednesday, applies legally filed on behalf of
- 36:35Speaker 4: his two thousand and eight record Me and My Goons,
- 36:38Speaker 4: claiming that the record were sampled on Soldier Boys twenty
- 36:42Speaker 4: ten record Pretty Boy Swag. The Florida The Native also
- 36:47Speaker 4: featured Megane, Stallion and Glowilla in the suit for the
- 36:51Speaker 4: song Wanna Be, which he claims also features his original
- 36:55Speaker 4: song sample and for that get your money, babe, babe,
- 37:00Speaker 4: because that's what I listened to, all three of them
- 37:03Speaker 4: joints and y'all stow y'all stuff.
- 37:06Speaker 3: You're gonna have to say that, man.
- 37:08Speaker 4: And it's so funny because he waited until the songs
- 37:13Speaker 4: became popular, Like Pretty Boy Swag has been out for
- 37:17Speaker 4: years and years and years and it's probably getting close
- 37:20Speaker 4: to like platinum status or whatever the case may be.
- 37:23Speaker 3: He waited, he said, I'm a whole nigga. Smile you smile?
- 37:31Speaker 2: Who is shoot?
- 37:37Speaker 3: We all was? We all was listening to it whether
- 37:40Speaker 3: we wanted to. Are you kidding me? They bore that
- 37:48Speaker 3: song out?
- 37:50Speaker 2: Okay? Uh? Speaking of don't touch this this my ship.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Beyonce files a new motion the trademark her daughter Blue
- 37:59Speaker 2: Ivy's name. Beyonce's legal team has filed emotion to trademark
- 38:05Speaker 2: blue Ivy Carter's name, arguing there's no consumer confusion between
- 38:12Speaker 2: blue ivy and a small Wisconsin clothing boutique. Mm hmm.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Despite the trademark's trademark offices tentative ruling against it. Beyonce
- 38:23Speaker 2: attorneys emphasized Blue Ivy's public unique identity. J Z clarified
- 38:29Speaker 2: years ago that they sought the trademark to protect their
- 38:32Speaker 2: daughter for commercial exploitation, not for business use. So period.
- 38:38Speaker 2: If there's anybody you don't want to exactly blue and
- 38:45Speaker 2: they're gonna capitalize off of it, then you have people
- 38:50Speaker 2: out taking little social media selfies in front of it. Hey, guys,
- 38:54Speaker 2: I went to hashtag blue ivy. No go people, Mum,
- 39:03Speaker 2: it's no good.
- 39:05Speaker 3: That's all I really cared about, unless you had something else.
- 39:10Speaker 2: I mean, doctor Phil, we care spoken Trump's rotheray then
- 39:16Speaker 2: now I'm good.
- 39:22Speaker 3: What he's saying. He's out of rebellion. Now we don't
- 39:25Speaker 3: care about that.
- 39:26Speaker 4: Right.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Huh. Speaking of which, O, the caucasiity up now will
- 39:33Speaker 2: be right by.
- 39:35Speaker 7: I might get some violations and I may offend some
- 39:40Speaker 7: people with what I'm gonna say, and I don't give
- 39:44Speaker 7: a fuck to all you Latinos that voted for Trump.
- 39:47Speaker 7: I hope he mass supports you and your entire family.
- 39:50Speaker 7: Whether you were here legally or not, you gotta go.
- 39:54Speaker 7: I hope he does that to you Black men who
- 39:58Speaker 7: your fragile ego couldn't take a black woman in office.
- 40:03Speaker 7: So you either voted for Trump or you didn't vote
- 40:05Speaker 7: at all. The police will now have carte blanche to
- 40:08Speaker 7: murder you right where the fuck you stand, and when
- 40:11Speaker 7: they do that, there's not gonna be no gofundmes. Don't
- 40:15Speaker 7: ask your family to ask us for shit.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Just die.
- 40:19Speaker 7: They can't afford to bury you. Dig a hole in
- 40:21Speaker 7: their backyard. It is what the fuck it is. But
- 40:23Speaker 7: don't expect sympathy. Don't expect protests in the streets. We're
- 40:27Speaker 7: not doing that. Black women.
- 40:29Speaker 3: We're done with.
- 40:30Speaker 4: We're done.
- 40:31Speaker 7: We did our due diligence for this century and the next.
- 40:35Speaker 7: We've done enough. We're not We're not doing anymore to
- 40:38Speaker 7: you white women that once again voted against your fucking interest.
- 40:42Speaker 7: When your husbands start knocking you into the middle of
- 40:45Speaker 7: fucking next week and you can't do anything about it
- 40:47Speaker 7: because no fault divorce is in play, I want you
- 40:50Speaker 7: to take those black eyes and those busted lips as
- 40:53Speaker 7: a personal thank you from Donald J. Trump, each and
- 40:56Speaker 7: every time you get fucking hit, take it. Don't look
- 40:59Speaker 7: for nobody, don't ask for fucking help. Take your beatings.
- 41:03Speaker 7: For all of y'all that voted for Trump, I hope
- 41:05Speaker 7: you get exactly what you voted for, because the only
- 41:08Speaker 7: thing he did was to make America great for the
- 41:11Speaker 7: people that it was great for from the fucking beginning,
- 41:14Speaker 7: white men. That's what he did. He couldn't run the
- 41:17Speaker 7: risk of whiteness no longer be in the default, not
- 41:21Speaker 7: being allowed to fail up. So when you're bleeding out
- 41:25Speaker 7: somewhere and there's a medical emergency and you can't get
- 41:27Speaker 7: no fucking help. Women who voted for him, don't take it.
- 41:32Speaker 7: You just gotta die. If you got kids, they just
- 41:34Speaker 7: gonna be motherless. It is what the fuck it is.
- 41:36Speaker 7: You didn't give a fuck, so we don't give a fuck.
- 41:39Speaker 7: That's just how that's how it is. This isn't America anymore.
- 41:42Speaker 7: I don't know what the fuck it is, but it's
- 41:43Speaker 7: not gonna be America. And if you think that Trump
- 41:46Speaker 7: is gonna be in that office for four years, you're
- 41:49Speaker 7: fucking insane. Because we're about to be in a real,
- 41:51Speaker 7: live action episode of fucking scandal, because your next president
- 41:56Speaker 7: is not Donald Trump, it's JD.
- 41:58Speaker 8: Vance.
- 41:58Speaker 7: Because trust and believe, within a year, you're not gonna
- 42:03Speaker 7: see Trump anymore. He's either gonna be and they're gonna
- 42:05Speaker 7: say it's illness, or he died in his sleep its
- 42:08Speaker 7: natural causes because he's fucking old enough, or they just
- 42:10Speaker 7: gonna let him spass out and do the twenty fifth.
- 42:13Speaker 7: And that's when we're really gonna be in the Handmaid's teal.
- 42:17Speaker 7: So I really hope all of you who voted for
- 42:19Speaker 7: him you get exactly what the fuck you deserve.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Margess, has you glimb?
- 42:29Speaker 2: All right? So this week I titled this one election fallout,
- 42:34Speaker 2: Let's talk about our problems with women?
- 42:38Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 42:41Speaker 2: So really okay, Alexa, Now see now we're gonna have
- 42:47Speaker 2: this ghetto shipp next anyways.
- 42:54Speaker 3: What just like what?
- 43:01Speaker 2: All right? Right? She can't even believe this shit either,
- 43:05Speaker 2: She's like, look what the fuck?
- 43:07Speaker 3: She's like? Who president?
- 43:12Speaker 2: All right? Listen everybody right now, it's you falling out
- 43:20Speaker 2: for real? Hey, I've got to be serious, all right, seriously.
- 43:26Speaker 3: All.
- 43:28Speaker 2: As we die into the aftermath, of the Trump election,
- 43:33Speaker 2: It's really time for some hard truths that demand our attention,
- 43:37Speaker 2: especially regarding how certain demographics, including younger voters, black men,
- 43:42Speaker 2: and even some of the white folks, have navigated their
- 43:44Speaker 2: relationships with women throughout this election cycle. Okay, spoiler alert,
- 43:50Speaker 2: it's time to hold some people accountable black man. First off,
- 43:58Speaker 2: let's address y'all in the room. We've seen a concerning
- 44:02Speaker 2: trend in recent elections where a significant portion of black
- 44:05Speaker 2: male voters have backed candidates who are historically disrespected and
- 44:11Speaker 2: marginalized women, especially women of color. Just this whole thing
- 44:16Speaker 2: isn't just about politics, it's about values. When we support
- 44:21Speaker 2: candidates who openly mock the little diminished women, what message
- 44:28Speaker 2: are we sending black men, Like, at what point are
- 44:33Speaker 2: we going to reflect on why we're supporting these figures
- 44:38Speaker 2: and how these harmful stereotypes can contribute to a culture
- 44:42Speaker 2: of misogyny that affects our sisters, mothers, and daughters. Like
- 44:47Speaker 2: I said before, I've been on this podcast for twelve years,
- 44:52Speaker 2: and throughout those twelve years, I've been a stronger advocate
- 44:58Speaker 2: for black women as a gay man than some of y'all.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Y'all the ones that are right next to them. They're
- 45:07Speaker 2: laying next to you. They ain't laying next to me.
- 45:10Speaker 2: I got a whole ass grown nigga laying next to me,
- 45:15Speaker 2: Like what the fuck? Like, help me out to you
- 45:20Speaker 2: the fuck? H I know there's a whole grown nigga.
- 45:28Speaker 2: And I'm out here loud and proud and advocating for
- 45:31Speaker 2: women where they won't even do it. And y'all forever,
- 45:36Speaker 2: like black women are always showing up for everybody else,
- 45:42Speaker 2: especially black men. They are the first to believe your bullshit,
- 45:48Speaker 2: which is why they get so frustrated with you, because
- 45:51Speaker 2: they by default believe you. Hum, this is how you do.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Younger voters, Let's be real. Many of you showed up,
- 46:03Speaker 2: and many of you didn't. You had the power to
- 46:06Speaker 2: change the game, yet some of y'all still fell into
- 46:09Speaker 2: the trap, whether it's through casual misogyny and social media spaces,
- 46:15Speaker 2: or like the dismissive attitude y'all have towards women issues
- 46:18Speaker 2: like it's twenty twenty four. We've seen how vital women's
- 46:23Speaker 2: voices are in shaping the future, yet we often take
- 46:28Speaker 2: back seats in these types of discussions. If you're not
- 46:31Speaker 2: amplifying women's voices are prioritizing their rights. You are part
- 46:36Speaker 2: of the problem, period. Step up, educate yourself. Understand that
- 46:41Speaker 2: women's issues are everybody's issues. It's not just about her pussy,
- 46:45Speaker 2: and since you ain't got no pussy, you ain't got
- 46:47Speaker 2: to worry about it.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Lie, this is what.
- 46:51Speaker 2: People think white voters. Let's confront the privilege. Let's talk about.
- 46:58Speaker 9: Y'all's confidential to confront the privilege that comes into play
- 47:04Speaker 9: when it comes to supporting candidates who undermine women's rights.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Many of you think that it doesn't directly affect you.
- 47:14Speaker 2: This systemic oppression of women is a societal issue, and
- 47:18Speaker 2: a lot of y'all niggas about the white niggas about
- 47:21Speaker 2: to find this out too, because a lot of y'all
- 47:23Speaker 2: see yourselves in Trump, and Trump does not see himselfs
- 47:26Speaker 2: in y'all broke gas.
- 47:28Speaker 3: What if I don't, he does not.
- 47:31Speaker 2: When you support candidates who are like perpetuate this kind
- 47:34Speaker 2: of shit, you you're just complicent in like the very
- 47:39Speaker 2: oppression that many women and minorities face daily. Your vote
- 47:47Speaker 2: had power and you handed it to.
- 47:51Speaker 8: That.
- 47:54Speaker 2: At the end of the day, it's on all of us,
- 47:57Speaker 2: men of all backgrounds young and old to do better.
- 48:03Speaker 2: We just we can't sit back. We can't let the
- 48:06Speaker 2: narrative be shaped by those who disregard women's rights, dignity,
- 48:12Speaker 2: people's rights and dignity. The selection cycle has shown us
- 48:18Speaker 2: the cracks in our collective attitudes. Like everybody together, we
- 48:24Speaker 2: have to challenge each other and hold one another accountable.
- 48:27Speaker 2: And a lot of y'all don't like being checked. You don't.
- 48:31Speaker 2: You hate it when somebody is talking to you because
- 48:34Speaker 2: then you have to face the real, very real reality
- 48:38Speaker 2: that a lot of y'all are horrible people. But it
- 48:42Speaker 2: doesn't have to be that way, it really doesn't. We
- 48:48Speaker 2: have to challenge one another, we have to hold one
- 48:50Speaker 2: another accountable, and we have to uplift the voices that
- 48:54Speaker 2: have been silenced for so long. Y'all are thinking that, Oh, well,
- 48:58Speaker 2: like I've seen it all day where people have been
- 49:01Speaker 2: talking about you know, everybody's been going kind of hard
- 49:05Speaker 2: towards the Latin community. Have you seen that two lyric?
- 49:09Speaker 2: You can unmut your mic. I'm done ranting, but you know, yes,
- 49:13Speaker 2: have you seen like where it's been going back and forth? Yeah,
- 49:18Speaker 2: So everybody's been talking about and I've seen a lot
- 49:21Speaker 2: from black people towards you know, Vaxican Latinos and stuff.
- 49:25Speaker 2: Oh well you know because press uh the Press secretary
- 49:29Speaker 2: of Trump, like I said, she jumped on like yep,
- 49:32Speaker 2: mass deportation they want wasn't a game, girl like, and
- 49:36Speaker 2: a lot of us are coming at them like, well,
- 49:39Speaker 2: we gonna see y'all later. It's gonna be this, that
- 49:41Speaker 2: and the third and very like a part of me
- 49:45Speaker 2: and being honest, a part of me sees where that's
- 49:48Speaker 2: coming from. But let's it doesn't stop there. They get
- 49:53Speaker 2: rid of them, and they ain't gonna find somebody else
- 49:55Speaker 2: to appress. A lot of them are lazy. I'll think
- 50:00Speaker 2: about the words like you really rolled ship back and
- 50:04Speaker 2: you don't like, oh, let's shoot, I'm sorry, go ahead,
- 50:13Speaker 2: you have to say.
- 50:14Speaker 3: I just feel like a lot of people are just voted.
- 50:21Speaker 4: From misinformation, emotional votes, ignorance, and just to do it,
- 50:40Speaker 4: just to troll. There's a lot of people that voted
- 50:43Speaker 4: for him just a troll. My thing is, you're not
- 50:49Speaker 4: going to take it seriously until something happens that.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Affects you, your family.
- 50:56Speaker 3: Or somebody in your family.
- 50:59Speaker 4: That that's when you're gonna wake up and realize, oh,
- 51:03Speaker 4: shit you have done here.
- 51:07Speaker 3: That's the only time people don't care anymore.
- 51:10Speaker 4: People who do not care unless it directly affects them.
- 51:15Speaker 2: And I'm just letting y'all know, and I'm just letting
- 51:17Speaker 2: y'all know I'm a whole new nigga altogether because in everything,
- 51:23Speaker 2: like when you vote for Trump, when you vote for
- 51:28Speaker 2: someone that thinks that my existence as a black man,
- 51:33Speaker 2: that my existence as a gay man, like all of
- 51:35Speaker 2: these like that I should not be here and that
- 51:38Speaker 2: I should not have the same rights and liberties and
- 51:42Speaker 2: privileges as everybody else, simply simply off the merit of
- 51:48Speaker 2: who I am, the color, the body that I was
- 51:52Speaker 2: born into. That's what you deem as like, that's what
- 51:57Speaker 2: you give work. And if you are a person that
- 52:01Speaker 2: has backed those sets of ideals, whether you believe it
- 52:07Speaker 2: or whether you disagree with him about that particular thing
- 52:11Speaker 2: or not, you still backed this person. So you've proven yourself.
- 52:16Speaker 2: You've given me the knowledge you are a threat to me.
- 52:21Speaker 2: I don't want you around me. And it's like you
- 52:27Speaker 2: have to really understand that. That's where people are. I
- 52:30Speaker 2: see a lot of this talk online where people are
- 52:33Speaker 2: going back and forth talking about well, don't let no
- 52:36Speaker 2: election destroy a lifelong friendship. And this, that and the third.
- 52:39Speaker 2: If you are voting for things not you know, my
- 52:44Speaker 2: access to be able to go out and drink and
- 52:48Speaker 2: get fucked up with my friends, not marijuana, youth like,
- 52:51Speaker 2: not shit that don't matter. You're talking about the very
- 52:58Speaker 2: like just my existence. These are the things that you
- 53:03Speaker 2: voted against. You've proven, you've shown me by those actions,
- 53:09Speaker 2: You've said that you are a threat to me. I'm
- 53:13Speaker 2: a whole new nigga now, because right now I don't
- 53:17Speaker 2: know a whole lot about what's gonna happen. But I do.
- 53:22Speaker 2: I do no numbers, and in these numbers, I am
- 53:26Speaker 2: seeing like clearly white men fifty nine percent, TRUMP, white
- 53:33Speaker 2: women fifty two percent, TRUMP Black men twenty percent, TRUMP
- 53:39Speaker 2: Black women seven percent. TRUMP black women showed up, Latino
- 53:45Speaker 2: men fifty four percent, Latino women thirty seven percent, everybody
- 53:50Speaker 2: else which was majority Kamala fifty percent. So for in
- 53:58Speaker 2: these demographics, when I walk past these demographics of people,
- 54:03Speaker 2: I even saved it, like I made this my profile picture,
- 54:07Speaker 2: or not my profile picture, but my background picture on
- 54:09Speaker 2: my paty, and I did it for the sole purpose
- 54:13Speaker 2: that if ever I need to come back for reference.
- 54:17Speaker 2: I have it right there. I'm a whole new nigga,
- 54:20Speaker 2: and I'm not saying that I'm going to be like,
- 54:22Speaker 2: I'm not a bigot. I'm not going to go out
- 54:24Speaker 2: there and drop a whole bunch of ethnic you know,
- 54:29Speaker 2: slurs and shit. I'm not going to do that because
- 54:31Speaker 2: that's just not me, not now, nor has it ever been.
- 54:35Speaker 2: But when I see these demographics of people, I know
- 54:40Speaker 2: what is a threat to Based off of this, we
- 54:45Speaker 2: have no further conversation. There's nothing else that we need
- 54:48Speaker 2: to say. So that is my rent for the week.
- 54:54Speaker 2: I guess anything that.
- 54:57Speaker 3: No, not at all.
- 55:00Speaker 2: You did back for the second half of the show.
- 55:03Speaker 10: Up next being in South Africa right now while election
- 55:06Speaker 10: is going on or why is over, I should say,
- 55:10Speaker 10: and seeing how much Trump won by, I ain't surprised
- 55:13Speaker 10: that he won, you know what I'm saying.
- 55:16Speaker 2: But the man he won by, oh my my mind.
- 55:20Speaker 10: But this country you feel me, not the country I'm in,
- 55:23Speaker 10: but maybe the country I'm in too, though, But you
- 55:25Speaker 10: know South African show me they some shit too, but
- 55:27Speaker 10: well America, Donald Trump.
- 55:31Speaker 3: The fu klux Klan.
- 55:32Speaker 10: KKK supporting brigade sh Boy said, the economy, and and
- 55:38Speaker 10: and in in in the border, and and and and
- 55:41Speaker 10: we tiredly hearing about the pronouns, y'all said we y'all like, well,
- 55:45Speaker 10: y'all killed it with this one. So our kids learning
- 55:49Speaker 10: slavery with slavery good and beneficial was cool. I'm talking
- 55:52Speaker 10: about being dictator on day one. That shit cool with y'all.
- 55:55Speaker 1: You feel me?
- 55:56Speaker 10: You know him talking about he's gonna be the retribution.
- 55:58Speaker 10: He gonna go for the after for the enemies with
- 56:00Speaker 10: in and you know what I'm saying, hey man, this
- 56:03Speaker 10: is the most weddest hurricane. We didn't see any the
- 56:04Speaker 10: weddest by far in terms of water. What that that
- 56:08Speaker 10: that that that New York rally n Colvern water melons
- 56:13Speaker 10: with my back friend. You know what I'm saying. Puerto
- 56:15Speaker 10: Rican the shit country. You feel me, hey man? Shit,
- 56:26Speaker 10: it's some content creators to get high to high extent
- 56:29Speaker 10: down Trump. All them indictments, Some shits are gone. You
- 56:33Speaker 10: feel me, all them con convictions. Ain't worry about them, no, mo,
- 56:36Speaker 10: you feel me. He said, he wanna put the last
- 56:38Speaker 10: four years behind him. I can't even go enjoy my
- 56:42Speaker 10: little wine tasting them. FeelA, go supposed to be supposed
- 56:44Speaker 10: to be doing far I leave the that I'm sposta
- 56:45Speaker 10: be hot man, supposed to be going to go see
- 56:48Speaker 10: you feel me table table mountain, you know what I'm saying,
- 56:53Speaker 10: And then I can do for uh Cape Town. So
- 56:55Speaker 10: I'm gonna try to and i'm'a try to enjoy myself
- 56:57Speaker 10: as much as I can. But damn, I I left America.
- 57:01Speaker 10: I knew though when I left and came back, no
- 57:03Speaker 10: matter who one, it was gonna be.
- 57:04Speaker 1: Chake us to work, Chake us all ago, take us
- 57:06Speaker 1: wherever you go. Jo you rtr Real Talk Radio back.
- 57:10Speaker 2: In the side of the second half of the show.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Here on wrt R, Miss Lyric, you're feeling all right?
- 57:16Speaker 2: You still holding it together?
- 57:20Speaker 3: Indeed, indeed all right?
- 57:23Speaker 2: Uh listener letter time subject line reads a warm thank
- 57:29Speaker 2: you from a loyal Canadian listener. Dear Marcus and Lyric,
- 57:34Speaker 2: I hope this message finds you in great spirits. I
- 57:37Speaker 2: wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation
- 57:42Speaker 2: for the incredible work Okay you little two nights at
- 57:45Speaker 2: this point, but the incredible work you've been doing on
- 57:48Speaker 2: the podcast. As a longtime listener from Canada, I can
- 57:53Speaker 2: honestly say that your show has been a source of
- 57:55Speaker 2: joy and insight in my life for years. I've watched
- 57:58Speaker 2: you both evolve and grow over time, and it's been
- 58:01Speaker 2: a joy to witness your journey. From the hilarious anecdotes
- 58:05Speaker 2: to the deep dives and depressing issues. You managed to
- 58:08Speaker 2: strike a perfect balance that keeps me coming back for more.
- 58:12Speaker 2: Your chemistry is infectious, and I found myself laughing out
- 58:16Speaker 2: loud while doing the dishes or commuting to work. That
- 58:18Speaker 2: part made me laugh when I read it earlier. Now
- 58:22Speaker 2: I have to ask do you both manage to stay
- 58:24Speaker 2: I'm sorry, how do you both manage to stay so
- 58:27Speaker 2: upbeat and optimistic and what often feels like a shit
- 58:31Speaker 2: show of a country? It baffles me. Here in Canada,
- 58:36Speaker 2: we certainly have our own challenges, but the constant varadaty
- 58:41Speaker 2: of news and political land and the political landscape in
- 58:45Speaker 2: the US seems to be on another level. I often
- 58:47Speaker 2: find myself tuning into your podcast to remind myself that
- 58:51Speaker 2: there's still humor and hope it mids the chaos. Also,
- 58:54Speaker 2: I'm curious what are your ages? It feels like you
- 58:56Speaker 2: both have such a youthful energy and perspective. It's inspiring
- 58:59Speaker 2: to see how you tackle serious topics with a lighthearted approach,
- 59:03Speaker 2: making them more digestible for your listeners. Thank you for
- 59:07Speaker 2: all the laughter, the thought provoking discussions, and for being
- 59:11Speaker 2: a beacon of positivity or Bacon for Marcus. Your ability
- 59:15Speaker 2: to connect with your audience and uplift spirits in these
- 59:18Speaker 2: challenging times is truly a gift. Keep doing what you
- 59:21Speaker 2: do best. I'll be here cheering from you from the
- 59:24Speaker 2: Great White North. Warmest regards to Shawn from Canada. So
- 59:31Speaker 2: thank you, sweet, it really was. I thought that I
- 59:38Speaker 2: pulled that one. The earlier I was going with another one,
- 59:41Speaker 2: but this one seemed on point because we you know,
- 59:44Speaker 2: I needed to say something kind or to at least
- 59:47Speaker 2: know that my voice has reached somebody, because right now
- 59:51Speaker 2: I feel like I don't know, you know. But to
- 59:59Speaker 2: answer your question, I'm not telling you know I'm forty four.
- 1:00:02Speaker 10: I'm not.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: I don't know if Lyrics won't tell you her age.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: But I do have a youthful energy and perspective. I do,
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: but what keeps me young is my sense of humor
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: the fact that I can find comedy and even this,
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: this is a shit show, and I'm going to laugh
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: until my very last breath because I can't do anything
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: else like this is ridiculous, the situation that America has
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: put us in. And I could say that because I
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: did not vote for this. So I'm going to yell
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: every single day at y'all.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: No dam.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: None, zero, it's trash. This it is. It's trash awful
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: and I hate all Right, So, Lyric, how how do
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: you manage to stay so up beaten, optimistic and what
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: often feels like a ship show of the country.
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: Well, let me speak to the age thing. First. I
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: am a.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: Lady, so I will not be saying.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: I will'm my age.
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: I will say that I am grown years old. That's
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: how old I am. But how I get through it
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: is I treat I treat life like it's an AA meeting.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: Honestly say that because.
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: I accept the things that I cannot change, I can't.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: Do anything about it. What TNE is done. I did
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: my part. I showed up, I.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Used my vo we've been using our voices, We've been
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: using our platform to amplify voices.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: So with that being said, now that this is done,
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: we just have to work through it.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: Life don't stop.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: Function happens every single day, every single minute, every single second.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: You know what's gonna be to learn how to navigate
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: through life.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: And that's what's going to.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: Keep on the up and up.
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: It's not always going to be successful, You're not always
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: gonna win, but that's not what matters the most. The
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: matter is that you keep pushing through, that you keep fighting,
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: that you keep getting up, that you keep trying, that
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: you don't give up, that you keep the faith.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: And so that is how I get through.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: You know what's going to be interesting. It's gonna be
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: interesting watching other ethnic groups navigate this whole racist landscape,
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: because I'm not saying that they haven't this experienced discrimination,
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: but to this magnitude the way that we get it daily,
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: really get it.
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: You got the juna.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Enjoy up until they get rid of y'all and it
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: is back on all black cats. Don't think all right,
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: that's it wild files anybody sure.
- 1:03:33Speaker 11: And to the queer people that voted for Trump, don't
- 1:03:36Speaker 11: come to pride, don't come to our marches, don't march
- 1:03:39Speaker 11: with me, don't ask me for nothing. Me and you
- 1:03:42Speaker 11: are not part of the same community. You were just
- 1:03:45Speaker 11: someone that's a dude that just happens to like dudes.
- 1:03:47Speaker 11: Gay doesn't define who you are. Girl, buy because I'm
- 1:03:50Speaker 11: a queen that happens to love it, advocate for my
- 1:03:53Speaker 11: community and everybody in it. Being a part of the
- 1:03:55Speaker 11: community means that we will continue to fight and march
- 1:03:58Speaker 11: until everyone in the community has equal rights. You just
- 1:04:02Speaker 11: guaranteed that we'll have a conservative Supreme Court, probably till
- 1:04:05Speaker 11: I die. And if this is gatekeeping, I'm fine with it.
- 1:04:08Speaker 11: I'm holding the key locking the gate.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Girl.
- 1:04:10Speaker 11: You can stand on that side. Me and my community
- 1:04:13Speaker 11: are going to be on this side. So I'm gonna
- 1:04:14Speaker 11: spend the rest of my day with my family. I'm
- 1:04:17Speaker 11: gonna continue to check in on those that I care
- 1:04:19Speaker 11: about and those that are directly impacted by your decision
- 1:04:22Speaker 11: to vote for someone that hates us.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: Why do you hate religious?
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Why? Why?
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: Why?
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: File?
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Why did my children hate me?
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Are Real Talk Radio?
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: Why do I have a dinnavine?
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: Is out there.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: Explaining the unexplained. We're answering why the questions You want
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: to know by taking your inbox messages on our Facebook

- 1:05:03Speaker 2: I'm just like taking all the little failed safes and
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: stuff that, you know, I'm taking them ships down. But
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: I will not be you know, I will not be
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: putting money in Elon's pocket anyways, the WI files. Remember
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: the truth is out there. You want to go.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: First, sure, my wife comes from me.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: Are people.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: Talking shit about Kamala Harris not addressing her supporters last night.
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: When Trump did it when he lost. Everybody else did
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: it when they lost.
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: Why are y'all making such a big deal about our
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: decision from her not to speak to the people last night.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Why what people are saying?
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: Oh yeah, people are up in arms.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: People have made videos calling her a coward, and all
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: sorts of.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: People literally just she literally just did a speech. I
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: watched it thirty eight minutes long. It's on YouTube.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: Because it wasn't last night, people are feeling a way.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: First off, the election results weren't even completely confirmed until
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: well after midnight. Who did she think? Who did they
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: think we were going to talk to? Who was up
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: to listen?
- 1:06:39Speaker 8: What?
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: I don't know, but I woke up to several content
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: creators making disrespectful videos about it and calling her things
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: that were that is not her.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: Name, and that shit at all.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: The delete button has been hot today.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: And especially actually because it came from other black women.
- 1:07:04Speaker 10: Bitch.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: That's why I said, I can't get on here. I'm
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: not gonna argue with nobody.
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: I can't debate with nobody because I would be arguing
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: with stupid people.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: For the rest of my freaking life. I can't put
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: my energy on it.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Why Why?
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Because the truth is out there?
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: It is. We've been saying the truth is out there
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: for years and ain't nobody taking advantage of the truth.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: It'd be out there even when we don't purposefully, Like
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: the whole purpose of this segment is to not really
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: answer your questions with the answer, like it's a fun thing.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: But anyways, Brian from Kansas wants to know why, and
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Brian with a why so I know he got some
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: flavor anyway, he says, why do we often? Why do
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: you think we often romanticize the past even when we
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: know it wasn't as perfect perfect as we remember. And
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: I know this probably has more of a political undertone,
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: but it is the truth because we do it as
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: you know, a lot of us do it. What in
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: that's what I'm about to say.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: Hmm, people do that.
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: Child people don't have to hang on to things that
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: no longer suits them. Rain orders is what I call them.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: Okay, that's what it is.
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: You hold on to things in life of the past
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: that no longer suits you.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: You are order. I'm just trying to figure out what's
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: romanticized about Trump's presidency. I mean, do they think it's
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: rain and stemmings? Like what what's oh you know what
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: that is the show name? It's rain and stemmys? Huhm.
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: And it ain't because he ain't even want your niggas
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: to have the ship did.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Not, and we'll make sure that you don't. Moving forward
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: just flogging out. So you go, birds like Sexy Red
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: talk about I mean, we ain't even back with Trump
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: that virus.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: But you know you gave us money and now we like,
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: we like him. Like what you're gonna have your hand
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: out and guess what he gonna give.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: He gonna put in your hand a big pile of ship,
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: because that's what you're getting. You're gonna get shipped yours
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: and your brown booty hole about to be.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: Exactly, and that wraps it up for this week's Wild Files.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: Because the truth is out there, we'll be back with
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: news and make you noxious.
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: You just you gotta be fucking kidding me.
- 1:09:51Speaker 8: If you get deported, Oh well, your kids can't get
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: free lunch at school anymore. Oh well, your wife is
- 1:09:59Speaker 8: fighting for her life after a miscarriage. Oh well, when
- 1:10:03Speaker 8: he gives net and Yahoo the bombs to finish she all.
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: Oh well, when Ice starts going door to door to
- 1:10:11Speaker 8: collect your family members.
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: Oh well, when you.
- 1:10:15Speaker 8: Can't get divorced from your abusive husband. Oh well, when
- 1:10:20Speaker 8: your family can't make a child, but you can't get
- 1:10:23Speaker 8: ivf Oh well, when your son or your daughter can't
- 1:10:28Speaker 8: marry the person they love. Oh well, when you can't
- 1:10:33Speaker 8: marry someone because they're not the same race as you.
- 1:10:37Speaker 8: Oh well, when you're forced to have a baby that
- 1:10:40Speaker 8: you didn't plan nor want. Oh well, when you can't
- 1:10:44Speaker 8: get any of your social services funded. Oh well, when
- 1:10:48Speaker 8: your family loses their medical insurance. Oh well, when your
- 1:10:53Speaker 8: daughter is forced to have the child of the person
- 1:10:57Speaker 8: who assaulted her.
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: Oh well, Oh well, when your.
- 1:11:02Speaker 8: Grandmother can't pay for her diabetes medicine anymore. Oh well,
- 1:11:08Speaker 8: you didn't get up and go vote, or you voted
- 1:11:11Speaker 8: for someone who took all these things away from you.
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: So oh well, you got exactly what you asked for.
- 1:11:20Speaker 8: And I don't care.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: I used to make you nauseous on w RTIE are
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Real Talk Radio.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: Let's go alright to then, these are some of the
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: stories you might not read about in the New York Times,
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: the Washington Post, which I'm over, in the Wall Street Journal.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: It's news to make your office completely over it all right?
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: Let me see say what Dallas.
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: Texas say.
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: Why a singer is hospitalized after she was shot on stage.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: According to Javas, Jada Arnell Thomas, twenty six, was on
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: stage at the Black Academy of Arts and Letters writing
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: autographs when a random woman in the crowd, Michael Williams,
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: twenty six, pulled out a gun and shot her in
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: front of everybody. It was a packed house, packed house down.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: People were in line getting autographs and we all heard
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: a shot, said the founder and president, Curtis King. It
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: was unreal. It was like everything was in slow motion.
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: Thomas was taken to the hospital where she is currently
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: in stable condition.
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: Thank god for that. As for Williams, she.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: Was caught a few blocks down from the from the
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: Performing Arts Center, where police were able to retrieve the handgun.
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: She has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: Police have not revealed if there was a motive behind
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: the shooting or if William's new Thomas prior to the incident.
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: It's eerie to know that we live in this kind
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: of a world with people who seem to be hell
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: bent on doing harm to other people, many times for
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: no apparent and sensible reason.
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: King says, because they.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: Praying for Jada.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: Wow, just just up and shooting, or just for no reason.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Yeah wow.
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: And we can't say black women don't do anything because
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: this was black women against another black woman.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: Unfortunately, Well, I mean, black women got my respect from
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: here on out. Y'all showed up. Y'all women showed up
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: for this vote. Seven percent of seven percent of birds.
- 1:13:51Speaker 12: That's just like, out of the whole black female American demographic,
- 1:13:58Speaker 12: only seven percent were birds and chose Trump.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: Pigeons.
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: You know what, say what America?
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: Say what?
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Donald Trump won the twenty twenty four election. That's that's
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: nauseating in and of it. That's it.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: That's it. I supposed that's the story.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: No, but say what Northern Kentucky and a disturbing story
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: that just came out of Northern Kentucky figures five people
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: have been arrested after a two year old boy was
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: found locked up in a makeshift caged area at home.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: Cops got a tip and discovered this little guy I
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: can find in what looked like a cage, raising serious
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: alarms about his safety. So what apparently happened is the
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: adults evolved, including family members, or allegedly happened. The adult
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: family members and this includes family members are now facing
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: charges for child endangerment and neglect. And I mean, I mean,
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: let's take a step back and think about it. This
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: kind of negative, uh, this kind of neglect. It ties
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: right into the bigger picture of what's happening in Kentucky
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: and the kind of ideals that led to the these
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: these actual election results.
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: People in cages. Like, what type of weird shit, y'all?
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: They are weird week every week somebody is being found
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: in a freaking cage, Like, what is the wrong?
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: What is wrong with y'all?
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: White people want to be slaves so bad? Okay, you
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: know what, why can't y'all be the slaves. Let's do that,
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: y'all like cages and and y'all have this fascination with
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: being locked up place like every scary movie it's white
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: people being locked away and this that Like, I don't
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: like that ship. Y'all romanticize that, not us. Leave us
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: out of it period. If you want these and more
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: nauset news stories picture, you follow us on social media.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: So I'm at M A R C U S S
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: M O T. That's Marcus Smoker.
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: And on my social media platforms, which I am going
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: to follow in Marcus's and cancel my Twitter so because
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: I've been saying that ship for months already, but now.
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely gonna do that. Definitely gonna do that because.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: I don't be on it no way, y'all trifling, y'all.
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: That shit is like softcore.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: Now say it's literal elon dot com now, so I
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: don't want to hear anything.
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: And fuck that site. But you can find me on
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: Facebook and Instagram and TikTok and to further notice, because
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: that's another one who's.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, So this week, for real, I wanted
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: to just talk about how the people are feeling. I
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: literally asked on social media. What are you feeling and
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: the results are up? Next?
- 1:17:12Speaker 13: All right, to the Latinos for Trump when he removes
- 1:17:18Speaker 13: birthright citizenship and enact deportation, mass deportation. I hope you
- 1:17:25Speaker 13: know this is what you wanted. To the Blacks for
- 1:17:27Speaker 13: Trump when he gives police full immunity and we see
- 1:17:30Speaker 13: police violence at an all time high. I hope you
- 1:17:33Speaker 13: know this is what you wanted. To the women for
- 1:17:35Speaker 13: Trump when you ultimately get pregnant and suffer pregnancy complications
- 1:17:40Speaker 13: and the fetus is no longer viable, but you are
- 1:17:42Speaker 13: forced to carry death inside your body and it could
- 1:17:46Speaker 13: kill you, and maybe does. I hope you know this
- 1:17:49Speaker 13: is what you wanted. And lastly, to the gaze for
- 1:17:51Speaker 13: Trump when he enacts mass annulments of all of our marriages.
- 1:17:57Speaker 13: I hope you know this.
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: Is what you wanted.
- 1:17:58Speaker 13: You will no longer be entitled to your kids or
- 1:18:00Speaker 13: that home that you share with your partner. Congratulations, I
- 1:18:04Speaker 13: have nothing for you. Accept concepts of thoughts and prayers.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: One hundred. Hey it's real, chid RGI are real talk radio.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: We keep it real.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: All right, We're back to this podcast inside of this
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: hell whole country. Welcome to armagain, bitches. So I asked
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: on Facebook, I said, what's on your mind? I posted
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: it this morning and I pretty much stayed off of
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: social media for the majority of the day. Like I
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: may have answered like one or two things, but I
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: already knew, like from jumps, I already knew it was
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: about to be like stupid shit. I already knew people
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: was gonna get on my nerves. I already knew somebody
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: was gonna say fuck shit, and that my delete button
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: was gonna be hot. And it did not disappoint because
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: a few times that I did check in, yeah, I
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: found myself deleting somebody.
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: So here we go.
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: Anyways, I asked y'all what's on your mind? And a
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: lot of you have a lot of feelings. Dwight says,
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: how did we let this happen? Again? They said they
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: should have never been a candidate. Thomas says, sadness says,
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: you do not want to know. Nolan says, how to
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: seek asylum to another country because this is a depressing
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: issue for me. And see, that's another thing we didn't even,
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: you know, really talk about, is the mental health aspect
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: of it. Think about all of those people that I mean,
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: it's by this very magical edible that I'm not somewhere,
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: you know, rocking back and forth and depressed. Really it
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: because this is very depressing and it's hard to get through,
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: and you have people that don't have friends to you know,
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: lighten the load and be like all right, well, I
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: mean shit, let's rock this into you know, they just
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: feel hopeless. Cozy says right.
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: Juan Marsh says, bit of anger and disappointment that this
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: country allowed itself to fall for the bullshit yet again.
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: But unfortunately, I'm not really surprised by it. The country
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: continues to show in very important key moments that it
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: doesn't want to be saved from itself when being led
- 1:20:39Speaker 4: into the dark groups of racism, misogyny, homophobia, and all
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: of the other biases and prejudices that brought about the
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: results of last night. And the unfortunate thing is Harris
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: ran a really good campaign and avoided the mistakes of
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: the Clinton campaign, but it just wasn't enough to break
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: past the white frat boy mentality driving so many of
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: the folks who voted for Trump.
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: Wow, I mean, Trent Hunter says, this is some bullshit.
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: If you had any doubts about what.
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: What it is.
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: You bet you bet not have a one. Now lace
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: up your boots. People, it just got real. Which okay,
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: so Trump, here's here's the thing. You've been going back
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: and forth with me on Facebook, back and forth, and
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: it's been for weeks about the policies, and I don't
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: understand like what it is because this has been one
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: of those people that hasn't you know he I'm sure
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: he voted blue and everything, but he just goes back
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: for oh well, you got to learn how to navigate,
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: and da da da da da. And my whole point was,
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: let's uprooted, like let's address the core issues. Let's not
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: play their game. Let's make a whole new game, like
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: let's redo this shit, but not under white supremacy. You
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, Like, let's do redo this shit
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: on an equal playing field. Anyways, he says, you you
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: can't vote, get a job at McDonald's, or be a
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: sanitation worker as a convicted felon, but you can be potus. Wow,
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: Marky Mark Howard says, how why we know who? White women?
- 1:22:27Speaker 6: Uh?
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: Sean Elle Stephenson says she's heartbroken.
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: Where Jay Turner says it's going to be a rough
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: four years. Jim Crow twenty twenty five. So many things
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: will be destroyed, the ACA, Medicare slash Medicaid. I believe
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: that's what he meant social Security. I'm and my feelings
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: about voters who caved to their oppressor despite his rampant
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: expressions of hate and disrespect.
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: Hopes for rote dead, just my thoughts.
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: Sunshine Janey says America is sexist and then racist in
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: that order, praying we can see the day a woman
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: is elected. We can birth kids, raise a boy into
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: a man, and run our households, but can't be in leadership.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: That's crazy. I'm praying for America. So Gino says Maryland
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: did his part. I don't really care anymore.
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: We did show up.
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: We did show up the Heather Louise says, and I'm
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: reading this one because I want to let the person
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: who sent that anonymous letter know that she is not alone.
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: Heather says, I am deeply thankful for the fact I
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: never decided to bring children into this fucked up world,
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: because y'all's children and grandchildren on down the line will
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: be dealing with this shit for a long time and
- 1:24:01Speaker 4: I'm sorry, just so very sorry.
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: I don't know what else to say.
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: Mmmm hmm wow. Jamaica says, you don't really want to
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: know the full thoughts, or you don't really want to
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: know my full thoughts. I'm pissed, and to me, every
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: motherfucker that voted for that asshole just proved how stupid
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: and racist they are. How you vote for a felon
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: that showed you his hate for women, anybody that wasn't
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: white and mentally handicapped people. This fucking country sucks ass
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: I mean that it goes on. Somebody called it the
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: great suffering. You know, you got people talking about God
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: is still in charge, when our strength and faith, you know,
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: the they want to Okay, anyways, somebody said I can't
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: believe Trump won. Somebody said I wore all Melanie Parker said,
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: I wore blue yesterday, I'm wearing all black today. Interestingly,
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: there's not a single political post in my Facebook feed,
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: so all the Russian bots are all I have left.
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: I feel like John snow Winner is coming. It's going
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: to be a long four years. Maybe we'll work from
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: home again in this next pandemic. Okay, so let's talk
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: about the four years thing. So I think a lot
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: of you are under the misconception that Trump is going
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: to amicably hand over his power. He is vowed to
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: be a dictator on day one dictator. Dictators do not
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: hand over their power after four years and go ooh girl.
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: That was so much fun.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: Ya They don't do that. And what adds insult to
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: injury is the fact that we handed him a presidency
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: with no hard rails, with a public and senate. We
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: did that, and I mean y'all nuggas.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: Public. We said on national television.
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: For everybody needs vote for me, I will make it
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: so you.
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: Never have to vote again. What do y'all think that
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: fucking means?
- 1:26:34Speaker 8: Oh?
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: Well, I hear him say that. Oh run the clip back,
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: please insert clip here. I love this guy. He says,
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: you're not going to be a dictator. I said, no, no,
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: no other than day one. Can I Can I do
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: it over? Can I do it over?
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: I'm gon over. This is what you guys decided. There's
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: about to be some North Korea shit over here. This
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: is what you guys decided. But I am hopeful, though one,
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: because I know that the younger generation ain't happening. They're
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: not happening. I'm so proud to.
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: Say that I have done a great job in my
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: village of raising my children, because when I woke up
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: this morning, in our family chat, they were having conversations.
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: That most of you adults.
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: Refused to have, knowing that this is wrong, knowing that
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: the things that he said, and bringing up great points,
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: like my kids are having the conversation.
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: Of course they are, because you're not a goddamn idiot.
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: And I am proud of the fact that for those
- 1:28:11Speaker 4: who are teaching their kids, for those who.
- 1:28:13Speaker 3: Are aware, and the younger generation showed up to.
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: Did they I do feel hopeful. For the most part,
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: there was a noticeable there was a noticeable shift among
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: you younger voters in the battleground states where Trump like
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: the demographic it usually leans towards Democrats. So yeah, there's
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: something that happened there because the results illustrate, like it
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: really illustrates different from the younger people. They helped put
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: Trump in pout. And it's just like we said, I mean,
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: some of it's trolling, some of it's misinformation. I swear
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: to you old niggas. Some of you old niggas don't
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: know how normal government works. Y'all talking about, Oh, well,
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: how come Kamline do all this ship she been on?
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: She been vice president for four years? Take a Civics class,
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: stud Please, do you really understand, like you don't understand
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: any of the ship words?
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: No, and it shows that's what a lot of people
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: have been saying that it's been pissing me off, Like
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: research for yourself. Don't just go off of what they're
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: saying on Instagram. Don't just go off on what they're
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: saying like in his campaign. Research for yourself and see
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: the things that she has done. You're sitting him regurgitating
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: things that he has said, trying to make it seem
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: like she hasn't done anything. Uh, you don't know how
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: many people I've heard say, well, we haven't seen her,
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: she's where has she been the four years that she's
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: been with with Biden? And then all of a sudden
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: she just shows up and wants our support. Research take
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: the time.
- 1:29:58Speaker 3: Right and it's free. I don't understand that y'all are
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: lazy in people.
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: That is what we need.
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: And sheep and your sheep, it's here for you.
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: To follow behind the line. Somebody should really do a
- 1:30:16Speaker 4: social experiment. My mom and I was talking about this.
- 1:30:20Speaker 4: Somebody should just stand somewhere and just start a lying.
- 1:30:22Speaker 4: See how many people get in that fucking line, because
- 1:30:27Speaker 4: that's what it is.
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: That take time for yourself to.
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: Learn and figure out what's truth and what's a lie.
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: That it's right there and it's free.
- 1:30:39Speaker 3: There's no excuses. Anything that happens now is your fault.
- 1:30:45Speaker 4: Don't complain when the police, who kill black people at
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: an alarming rate don't have to answer for it. Don't
- 1:30:58Speaker 4: complain when your brother or your sister, whoever, it's never
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: been in trouble before, unarmed, and this, that and there
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: gets pulled over for a simple traffic violation. All of
- 1:31:12Speaker 4: that doesn't get to come home because the police doesn't
- 1:31:16Speaker 4: have to answer for killing them.
- 1:31:18Speaker 3: Don't complain about things.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: Because this is what you wanted. You wanted Trump to
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: come in to swoop in and save you from life
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: change or life saving aborch of operations and drag queen
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: reading hour. Meanwhile, actual active shooters are shooting at your
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: goddamn kid.
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: Don't complain, accept it. This is your new reality. This
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: is what it is. This is what you decided.
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: And see with that, I guess we'll do this show
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: as long as we can. So I guess we're wrapping
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: up this week here on wr t R. This lyric
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: got parton thoughts before we get out of here for
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: the week.
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: My parton thought is this, Now that America has decided.
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: This week, what are you going to do individually to
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: make it better? Are you just going to sit back
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: and continue just letting people say and do whatever? Are
- 1:32:29Speaker 4: you going to actually speak up and advocate for other people?
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: Don't wait until it affects you. Don't wait until it
- 1:32:39Speaker 4: affects your family member, don't wait until it affects your
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: best friend, or whatever the case may be. Do something
- 1:32:47Speaker 4: now before it's too late and you no longer have
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: a voice because you voted against it.
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: Wow. Powerful words. All right, Well with that, I mean
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: I was gonna say something, ship. I mean, you've cleared
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: it up. Good job, Thank you? All right, y'all. I
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: mean it's not surprising, but it's expected. Mm hmmm, it's here.
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: Embrace yourself next chapter under a Trump administration. It's not
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: the end stage, damn. I mean, it's just another twist
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: and a long, long saga. But historically, we as blacks
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: have faced challenges before, and we face them again, fucking
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: around and find out stay, won't.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: M you can know who you are.
