- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. It's Lala Kent. Welcome to untraditionally. Lala.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hi babes, it's Lala, Welcome back to untraditionally, Lala. I'm
- 0:09Speaker 2: here with Michelle Sonnai Sonnai.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Okay, I have fan questions for you. Are you ready?
- 0:19Speaker 3: I'm ready?
- 0:20Speaker 1: All right.
- 0:21Speaker 2: How is your mental health after losing your mom and
- 0:23Speaker 2: going through a divorce.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I'm sorry, my mental health has a lot of ups
- 0:30Speaker 3: and downs. I'm overall in a much better place because
- 0:33Speaker 3: I know my mom is enjoying heaven. But I have
- 0:37Speaker 3: my sad moments where I miss her.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's totally normal. And you know what, you and
- 0:41Speaker 1: I have a lot of good cries.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I'm a weirdo and I think that you know, people say,
- 0:46Speaker 2: you know you should laugh every day.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I think you should also cry every day.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I am learning from you.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Definitely cried a lot more since becoming your closer friend.
- 0:57Speaker 2: You also are fine hanging out with your boobs out
- 1:00Speaker 2: in front of me, which I also like.
- 1:06Speaker 1: What happened with Aaron.
- 1:08Speaker 2: You're a fucking savage. By the way, I will say,
- 1:10Speaker 2: when she's done with someone, you, guys, she is done.
- 1:14Speaker 3: There is no talking to an ex unless you have
- 1:17Speaker 3: to share a child with them. What happened to us,
- 1:21Speaker 3: I don't know. It was just I moved in, and
- 1:23Speaker 3: as soon as I moved in, you kind of realize,
- 1:25Speaker 3: like he was a single guy before dating a bunch
- 1:29Speaker 3: of girls, and then you bring me and a daughter
- 1:32Speaker 3: into a picture, and it just kind of like, I
- 1:34Speaker 3: don't know, he just woke up and realized it was
- 1:37Speaker 3: a lot for him, and I think that was one
- 1:40Speaker 3: of the things. There was a combination of things. He
- 1:42Speaker 3: was looking for a perfectionist and like the perfect wife,
- 1:46Speaker 3: and I think I didn't hit a lot of those boxes.
- 1:49Speaker 1: No one ever will. That's a hey issue.
- 1:52Speaker 3: That's highly and I know that. So I'm actually really
- 1:55Speaker 3: happy that we are no longer together.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I am too, because I thoroughly enjoy looking at the
- 2:00Speaker 2: men that you've been talking to.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You're very good looking. Are you dating anyone?
- 2:05Speaker 3: I am casually dating somebody, but nothing serious. I am
- 2:09Speaker 3: focusing on myself and I'm my number one priority right now.
- 2:13Speaker 1: God, I fucking love you. Amen to that. Do you
- 2:16Speaker 1: want more kids?
- 2:19Speaker 3: I'm open to it, but as of right now, I do.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Not, is Isabella, and I don't mean this to be insensitive.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Is she a lot? Because Sosa for me is a lot.
- 2:29Speaker 2: She's making me. She's like dealing with me all the time,
- 2:32Speaker 2: which now I feel badly for people.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Yes, I'm always tired. Also because she has so much energy.
- 2:38Speaker 3: She still wakes up at eight. I'm sorry, she still
- 2:41Speaker 3: wakes up at six in the morning every day and
- 2:43Speaker 3: she goes on and we do about ten activities outside.
- 2:46Speaker 3: We go on walks, to the parks, gymnastics, ballet are like.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I'm I can't just keep her at home and chill
- 2:52Speaker 3: and watch TV. We don't do that, So she is
- 2:55Speaker 3: by the time I put her to sleep, I'm exhausted.
- 2:58Speaker 3: And that's why I can't imagine having an.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Okay, so if you found a man who was like
- 3:04Speaker 2: the perfect guy.
- 3:05Speaker 3: It depends if he was a perfect guy, really wanted
- 3:07Speaker 3: an another child, had family, you know, we could get
- 3:11Speaker 3: some help. Yes, of course that would consider it.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it just depends the biggest part. Yeah, I feel
- 3:17Speaker 2: bad that I talked about Sosa that way. I adore Sosa.
- 3:20Speaker 3: And I adore Isabella, but I get yeah, it's some
- 3:23Speaker 3: kids are harder than other others.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Oshan, I would put her in the bed and she
- 3:27Speaker 2: could just chill there. Sosa is all over the place,
- 3:31Speaker 2: and she's particular and temperamental and high strung. She is
- 3:35Speaker 2: everything that I am. Yeah, so yeah, it's a lot.
- 3:40Speaker 1: How are you navigating being being a single parent?
- 3:45Speaker 3: I think I do a really good job. The days
- 3:47Speaker 3: I have Isabella, I just put all my focus and
- 3:50Speaker 3: energy onto her, and then the days I don't have her,
- 3:53Speaker 3: I focus on work. Those are the nights I go
- 3:55Speaker 3: out with my friends. So I really try to like
- 3:58Speaker 3: divide time when I'm alone and when I have her.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yeah, you feel like you've conquered it.
- 4:03Speaker 3: I think so.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Yeah, You're like a well oiled machine at this point.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Michelle and Laala describe your friendship?
- 4:10Speaker 3: You go first, How do I describe our friendship?
- 4:16Speaker 1: She's like a fucking nightmare.
- 4:18Speaker 3: My favorite thing about Laala is like how comfortable I
- 4:22Speaker 3: feel sleeping next to you. I really do. It's just
- 4:26Speaker 3: so cozy our pj's. I watch you do your whole
- 4:30Speaker 3: night routine. It's very interesting. We like the same temperature
- 4:35Speaker 3: and I sleep amazing next to you.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Yeah, we are like a match made in heaven. I
- 4:39Speaker 2: feel I love being I just I feel comfortable around you.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I feel like I don't have to censor myself.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I feel like I can be just who I am
- 4:49Speaker 2: at all times, and I feel zero judgment from you.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And I also feel like you're not.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Going to take that and go talk behind my back,
- 4:56Speaker 2: because you would just bring it to my face anyway. Yeah,
- 4:59Speaker 2: and I also think we're epic roommates because we have
- 5:01Speaker 2: the same pooping schedule.
- 5:02Speaker 1: She won't she's.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Not gonna talk about it. I'll talk about it. We
- 5:06Speaker 2: like our coffee at the same time.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Yeah, we have a lot of same a lot of similarities. Yes,
- 5:11Speaker 3: And I do think you bring out like this silliness
- 5:14Speaker 3: in me, Like I laugh a lot with you.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Oh that makes me really happy. I laugh a lot
- 5:19Speaker 1: with you too.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Tips or advice on how to help your child adjust
- 5:22Speaker 2: to a two parent household more easily.
- 5:27Speaker 3: That's a hard one to adjust. I mean we we
- 5:32Speaker 3: were always very strict with you know, bedtime, schedule, bad time,
- 5:35Speaker 3: So we just make sure that even if she's at
- 5:37Speaker 3: his house, like the routine never really changes.
- 5:41Speaker 2: So the consistency at both households absolutely. You know, there's
- 5:44Speaker 2: one thing because like now knowing Jesse a little bit better,
- 5:49Speaker 2: he's like someone who I can't stand, but also have
- 5:52Speaker 2: so much love for at the same time, am I
- 5:54Speaker 2: allowed to say that? Like, I feel like we can
- 5:56Speaker 2: go toes and then totally be fine five minutes later.
- 5:59Speaker 2: And I know that that probably seems like unhealthy to
- 6:02Speaker 2: some people, but I'm like, I actually thrive in friendships
- 6:05Speaker 2: like that. Yeah. But I do like the fact that
- 6:07Speaker 2: when it comes to your daughter that you guys are
- 6:09Speaker 2: both honest with each other. Yeah, which is something I
- 6:13Speaker 2: don't have. So my co parenting situation is so much
- 6:15Speaker 2: different and watching you guys, I'm like, I know it
- 6:18Speaker 2: gets tough, but I do admire you both for always.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Putting her first.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Yeah, we always do.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:25Speaker 2: My last question for you is there anything you've learned
- 6:28Speaker 2: about yourself from being on TV?
- 6:32Speaker 3: What have I learned about myself on TV? That's a
- 6:34Speaker 3: hard question. I've learned to well, I've learned to be
- 6:39Speaker 3: I'm very private. I've learned to like open myself up
- 6:42Speaker 3: and be vulnerable, and I don't know, it's just like
- 6:46Speaker 3: a work in progress.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I will co sign on that. I feel
- 6:52Speaker 2: like just watching you and again, I'm really excited for
- 6:55Speaker 2: people to see you in season three because I do
- 6:58Speaker 2: feel that the cameras were like non existent to you,
- 7:04Speaker 2: and you were very open about everything you were feeling.
- 7:06Speaker 2: And you and I, in my eyes, got very very
- 7:10Speaker 2: close like we did.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I consider you like one of my dearest friends.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Yeah. And I've learned it's okay to be happy and
- 7:17Speaker 3: sad and like show emotion and tears and stuff like
- 7:20Speaker 3: that when you feel it instead of just like holding
- 7:22Speaker 3: on to it.
- 7:23Speaker 2: See reality TV does teach you something. Guys, feel the feels.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I love you, guys, Thank you for listening to another
- 7:29Speaker 2: bonus episode of Untraditionally La La. I'm gonna catch you
- 7:32Speaker 2: on Wednesday for a regular episode and a good next week.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Bye,
