Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: I need to tell you two things.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Covey and Christine's.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Two pretty cool things.
- 0:07Speaker 2: I feel weird doing a cool thing about a disaster,
- 0:10Speaker 2: but it has an interesting story behind it.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Okay.
- 0:12Speaker 2: All right, the Hindenburg. Yeah. We all remember the footage. Yes.
- 0:16Speaker 1: 1937.
- 0:16Speaker 2: It was destroyed in New Jersey when it was coming
- 0:18Speaker 2: in for a landing. The Hindenburg blip.
- 0:22Speaker 1: That's, oh, the humanity, right? Yes.
- 0:24Speaker 2: That famous radio call. Amazingly, though, an opened... An unopened
- 0:28Speaker 2: bottle of beer survived the famous disaster. It's going up
- 0:31Speaker 2: for auction in England, and it's apparently going to sell
- 0:34Speaker 2: for up to $ 8, 000. The bottle of low-embrow lager is
- 0:39Speaker 2: one of only six known to survive the fire. What
- 0:41Speaker 2: happened was, Christine, a local fire chief pulled the six-pack
- 0:44Speaker 2: from the wreck, buried it to hide it from the police,
- 0:48Speaker 2: later dug it up to share with his team. The
- 0:50Speaker 2: green bottle still has its original fire damage label and
- 0:53Speaker 2: liquid inside. Wow. And auction experts warn that while it's
- 0:57Speaker 2: a rare piece of history, the nearly 90-year-old beer is
- 1:01Speaker 2: completely undrinkable.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I wouldn't.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Right. Right. But crazy out of that disaster of the Hindenburg, that.
- 1:09Speaker 2: And again.
- 1:09Speaker 1: That is crazy.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I remember seeing that footage.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Young in history class.
- 1:14Speaker 2: It affected me. Whoa, my God. It was in Life Magazine.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I remember that picture. Horrible. And right in our backyard.
- 1:21Speaker 2: But there you go with that beer. What do you
- 1:23Speaker 2: have as a cool thing, Christine?
- 1:24Speaker 1: It's a little more lighthearted. Back to Starbucks. I know
- 1:26Speaker 1: we talk about Starbucks a lot, but they have been
- 1:29Speaker 1: named by nutritionists, dieticians, as their favorite fast food chain
- 1:34Speaker 1: because you've got some options if you're running into Starbucks
- 1:36Speaker 1: and you need to get food on the go. Dietician-approved
- 1:40Speaker 1: orders are include the unsweetened roll and steel oatmeal, egg bites, spints,
- 1:49Speaker 1: feta and egg white wrap, egg and cheddar protein box,
- 1:54Speaker 1: and fresh fruit. And they said when it comes to drinks,
- 1:57Speaker 1: they suggested the unsweetened cold brew, iced tea, or a
- 2:00Speaker 1: sugar-free vanilla protein latte.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I used to get that protein box a lot. Remember
- 2:05Speaker 2: that Starbucks we had in our old building in Tribeca?
- 2:07Speaker 2: They always had that. I loved it.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and fruit.
- 2:09Speaker 2: And fruit, you're right. All right, cool things right here
- 2:11Speaker 2: on Light FM.
