- 0:00Speaker 1: The NHL season starts today. We got betting opportunities in
- 0:06Speaker 1: every one of those games. We got baseball playoffs. We're
- 0:10Speaker 1: going to take apart all of that. We're going to
- 0:13Speaker 1: talk 3-0 NFL teams. There are seven of them. Do
- 0:17Speaker 1: we bet on them or do we fade them? Some
- 0:20Speaker 1: early leans on college football. Our parlay of the day.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Sharp bets.
- 0:26Speaker 1: And what happened last night? It's the best betting show ever.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I'm Lawrence Presman. Thanks for watching, everyone. Joe Ranieri and
- 0:32Speaker 1: Art DeCesar with us. And Art, look, I really liked
- 0:36Speaker 1: the under last night and Chicago. I gave them both
- 0:39Speaker 1: out on the show. I did not release them to
- 0:42Speaker 1: my clients. It drove me nuts all night, but I
- 0:44Speaker 1: had the game right. What did you see last night
- 0:49Speaker 1: out of Philadelphia specifically? Because, wow. Wow. did they look bad?
- 0:57Speaker 3: Yeah, Philly did not look good. And I was with you, Prez.
- 0:59Speaker 3: I leaned the Bears. Obviously, I didn't play the game,
- 1:01Speaker 3: but now I'm kicking myself a little bit because the
- 1:04Speaker 3: Bears dominated from opening whistle. But yeah, I mean, listen,
- 1:07Speaker 3: Philly didn't look good. They went on the road. I
- 1:09Speaker 3: think you and I both felt Philly having a layover
- 1:11Speaker 3: field goal on the road against any quarterback was a
- 1:13Speaker 3: little ridiculous. But yeah, I mean, Philly's going to have
- 1:16Speaker 3: to figure some things out here. Obviously, listen, the one
- 1:19Speaker 3: thing that's going to help them is the division. Obviously,
- 1:21Speaker 3: the Giants are going to be on a third string quarterback.
- 1:23Speaker 3: The You know, Washington's on a second, third string quarterback here. So,
- 1:27Speaker 3: I mean, they'll be fine within the division and Dallas
- 1:29Speaker 3: has their problems. But, you know, it's the same old
- 1:31Speaker 3: song with Philly, their offense. It's just sometimes it looks
- 1:35Speaker 3: good and sometimes it doesn't look good.
- 1:36Speaker 1: So, Joe, stay with the Philadelphia Eagles. They've got the
- 1:40Speaker 1: Rams up next. The Rams off of a really, really
- 1:44Speaker 1: good win. And it was a win. because they caught
- 1:48Speaker 1: the ball, and then the refs decided to give them
- 1:51Speaker 1: a loss. But they did actually win that game. And
- 1:55Speaker 1: now they're playing Philly minus three. I mean, this is
- 2:00Speaker 1: a veteran Philadelphia team. Are they going to bounce back,
- 2:03Speaker 1: or is this sort of the beginning of the end
- 2:06Speaker 1: of the Philly in the last five, six years?
- 2:10Speaker 2: I have no idea what the Rams are.
- 2:12Speaker 4: All I know is that the Phillies are the Phillies.
- 2:17Speaker 2: The Phillies have a better chance of winning, I think,
- 2:19Speaker 2: than the Eagles do. Yes, they do. I'll say that.
- 2:23Speaker 4: But the Eagles, again, what, fourth new coordinator now offensively? A.J.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Brown is not there.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Saquon, although he didn't look bad rushing the ball last night,
- 2:35Speaker 4: they are a different team when trailing. when they have
- 2:39Speaker 4: to come from behind, it's one thing if they can
- 2:41Speaker 4: bleed clock and they're, they're holding onto a lead. It's
- 2:44Speaker 4: a whole nother thing when they're behind the eight ball
- 2:47Speaker 4: there and then it's just panic city. So, uh, but, uh,
- 2:50Speaker 4: he did Jalen hurts, get that tush push there. One
- 2:53Speaker 4: second left to get the, uh, the anytime touchdown. So
- 2:56Speaker 4: that was good. Yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Uh, yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 1: And, uh, that was just a brain crap by Chicago.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I mean, they probably would have got it in anyway,
- 3:04Speaker 1: but Chicago barely lined up for that play. Uh, Yeah,
- 3:08Speaker 1: so Chicago, Ben Johnson, this guy's going to be a
- 3:12Speaker 1: historically great coach when all's said and done. His adjustments
- 3:16Speaker 1: were spectacular, and their offense was ticking away. Case made
- 3:21Speaker 1: some bad throws, though, Art. He did get lucky, but man,
- 3:26Speaker 1: what do you think of the Chicago team moving forward?
- 3:29Speaker 3: I mean, their offense is awesome. They have two good
- 3:32Speaker 3: running backs, two good tight ends. Looks like, you know,
- 3:36Speaker 3: that kid who was ripping it up last night at receiver,
- 3:39Speaker 3: basically three or four good receivers. And you got that
- 3:43Speaker 3: great offensive mind. Just watching when the Bears are on offense,
- 3:47Speaker 3: it's just fun. Like, it just, man, it's a joy
- 3:51Speaker 3: to watch. And obviously when they get Caleb back at
- 3:54Speaker 3: some point, or even if they go to Badgett or whatever,
- 3:57Speaker 3: The case may be that offense is going to roll
- 3:59Speaker 3: because of Ben Johnson.
- 4:00Speaker 1: And so much motion. Joe, any thoughts there with Chicago?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Can we take advantage of anything moving forward with the Bears?
- 4:10Speaker 1: They're playing the Jets at home. Minus three. I hope.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Caleb Williams was paying attention.
- 4:18Speaker 4: To what a guy who had not played a snap
- 4:21Speaker 4: in over a thousand days at 38 years old shows
- 4:24Speaker 4: up and gets rid of the ball within two seconds.
- 4:28Speaker 2: And look at what happens to that offense. That offense
- 4:31Speaker 2: has not.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Looked like that since Caleb Williams has been playing there.
- 4:36Speaker 4: That was an offense that knew where to go with
- 4:38Speaker 4: the ball, what to do with it.
- 4:40Speaker 2: And got rid of it. Didn't put himself in harm's way.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Same guys Caleb has, but Caleb is always hair on fire.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Oh my God, let's get.
- 4:49Speaker 4: I hope he was paying attention to what was going
- 4:51Speaker 4: on there. Make the read, get rid of the ball.
- 4:54Speaker 4: You don't have to play hero every game.
- 4:56Speaker 2: If he can pull.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Anything away from that, maybe, just maybe, the Bears got
- 5:01Speaker 4: a shot moving forward. But if he keeps doing it
- 5:04Speaker 4: the way he's doing, holding on too long, trying to
- 5:06Speaker 4: make a miraculous play.
- 5:09Speaker 4: That offense is capable of what you saw last night
- 5:13Speaker 4: with the right guy under center reading the play and
- 5:15Speaker 4: getting rid of the damn ball.
- 5:16Speaker 2: You can be the greatest play.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Caller in the world if you got a moron under
- 5:20Speaker 4: center that can't understand who he needs to look to
- 5:23Speaker 4: and get.
- 5:23Speaker 2: The ball to.
- 5:23Speaker 4: 38-year-old Case Keenum did. Phillip Rivers at 44 came in
- 5:28Speaker 4: and did the same damn thing with the Colts last year.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Tell me how well the quarterback crop is coming out
- 5:35Speaker 4: of college football these days.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Art, Joe is not shy to give opinions, eh?
- 5:41Speaker 2: I'm just saying. It's not that hard to figure out.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Can you imagine Joe speed dating? It'd be like, hit
- 5:47Speaker 1: the button. You're ugly. I don't want to see you.
- 5:50Speaker 1: You've got a bull.
- 5:51Speaker 2: You've got hair coming out. Move on.
- 5:54Speaker 1: You're hot. You look like you've got good skills.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I like your rack. Move on.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I don't want to talk to you. Shut up.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Move on.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Well, how do 38-year-old quarterbacks who haven't played in three
- 6:06Speaker 4: years and Philip Rivers, who's been retired for five years,
- 6:09Speaker 4: how did they show up.
- 6:10Speaker 2: And execute game plans and.
- 6:13Speaker 4: This crop of young quarterbacks are completely useless?
- 6:17Speaker 2: Completely useless.
- 6:18Speaker 1: The better question is, where is Case Keenum being? He
- 6:21Speaker 1: had a great year with Minnesota when he played. As
- 6:24Speaker 1: that starting quarterback. I think that was the year.
- 6:27Speaker 2: That was 2017. The dude is 10 years ago.
- 6:32Speaker 1: He basically just disappeared. Yeah.
- 6:36Speaker 4: It's amazing when you got a guy that can draw
- 6:38Speaker 4: plays and you understand the concept.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Wow.
- 6:40Speaker 2: I got to get rid of the ball. Here's the ball.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Get rid of it.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Let's move on. Everybody sharp bets. Art the Caesar. What
- 6:46Speaker 1: are we seeing at baseball and hockey tonight?
- 6:49Speaker 3: One in the NHL, obviously it's a smaller slate, but
- 6:52Speaker 3: there was a little bit of hurricane money that came in.
- 6:54Speaker 3: You know, they're going to be raising the banner tonight. Obviously,
- 6:57Speaker 3: that's an early start against Florida. Three in the MLB playoffs,
- 7:02Speaker 3: Red Sox money. And we told you yesterday that Red
- 7:04Speaker 3: Sox money was coming in on the series. It's also
- 7:07Speaker 3: coming in on game one now. White Sox money coming in.
- 7:10Speaker 3: That's a bullpen game for both of those teams. And
- 7:12Speaker 3: then a little bit of Cub over money. That was seven.
- 7:14Speaker 3: It's now seven and a half.
- 7:16Speaker 1: There we go. Okay, boys. Parlay of the day. Joe,
- 7:20Speaker 1: I'm going to start with Edmonton. Minus one and a
- 7:24Speaker 1: half goals. It is minus 115. They're playing Vancouver. I
- 7:29Speaker 1: think Edmonton comes out flying to start the season before
- 7:34Speaker 1: they completely implode and murder their coach.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Chris Sale, 18 outs plus. So he's got to go
- 7:46Speaker 3: six innings. He's done that in all four starts against
- 7:49Speaker 3: the Phillies this year. He's gone 6-6, 7-7. It's a
- 7:52Speaker 3: playoff game. They'll stretch him. He will get through six
- 7:55Speaker 3: innings against Philadelphia.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Joseph. Give me the White Sox. There you go.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And that's your parlay of the day. We got a
- 8:06Speaker 1: big show ahead, guys. Hit the like button. Subscribe to
- 8:08Speaker 1: our channel. We will do a quick mailbag section at
- 8:12Speaker 1: the end of the show. Lots of excellent comments yesterday. 7,000
- 8:16Speaker 1: of you watched the show on YouTube. Cannot thank you enough.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Let's get to some business, boys. We've got $ 5 Tuesday
- 8:24Speaker 1: over at WagerTalk. We take our best play. We put
- 8:27Speaker 1: it up for only $ 5. Let me tell you what
- 8:29Speaker 1: I got going. I got two plays up. Last week,
- 8:33Speaker 1: I had the over in Baltimore and Dallas as my
- 8:37Speaker 1: $ 5 play. It won. I have another 4% NFL total up.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I am 60 and 26 in my last 86 total bets.
- 8:49Speaker 1: That's right. Unbelievable record of 60 wins and 26 losses
- 8:56Speaker 1: in my totals. I got another 4% total in NFL
- 9:00Speaker 1: up for Sunday. It's $ 5. It's up today. But I
- 9:02Speaker 1: also have a play in the NHL, and it is
- 9:06Speaker 1: a total as well. Left last year on a 23-6
- 9:11Speaker 1: NHL totals run. I love my total tonight. We're going
- 9:15Speaker 1: to start the season off great. It's also only five bucks.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Head over to WagerTalk. Grab that. Art, you go next.
- 9:21Speaker 1: What do you got going?
- 9:23Speaker 3: Yeah, a lot going on on a $ 5 Tuesday. I
- 9:25Speaker 3: have an NHL play up. Also have a college football
- 9:28Speaker 3: total up for Saturday. Then I also have a 5%.
- 9:32Speaker 3: MLB side up for the playoffs today. Have some free
- 9:36Speaker 3: bets up, too, on my page. So as always, just
- 9:38Speaker 3: go check the page out, wt.buzz.com.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Joe? Major League Baseball up and ready to go.
- 9:46Speaker 4: $ 5 as well as a Thursday night football $ 5 play
- 9:51Speaker 4: coming your way.
- 9:53Speaker 1: There you go. uh guys uh college football week four
- 9:57Speaker 1: uh early looks i'm gonna throw out alabama minus four
- 10:01Speaker 1: and a half against mississippi state uh i just feel
- 10:04Speaker 1: like they're a stronger team um i think that's worth
- 10:09Speaker 1: an early look texas tech at colorado worth an early
- 10:14Speaker 1: look i know it's 14 and a hook what do
- 10:16Speaker 1: you guys think art.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Well, yeah, I mean, listen, Alabama, there was a little
- 10:21Speaker 3: bit of Mississippi money that came in, Mississippi State money. Yeah,
- 10:26Speaker 3: I mean, that's a game that you're obviously going to see.
- 10:28Speaker 3: You'll probably see, now they missed their number, but the
- 10:31Speaker 3: Sharps are on Mississippi State. Public probably gets involved with Alabama.
- 10:35Speaker 3: I'm not saying the Sharps can't come in, and if
- 10:37Speaker 3: that gets to four or something, drive that number back up.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I'm with you, Prez. Colorado's bad, despite whatever they did
- 10:43Speaker 3: early in the season when they had that win against,
- 10:46Speaker 3: I believe it was Georgia Tech, but Georgia Tech's no good.
- 10:48Speaker 3: So Colorado is what we always think they are. I'm
- 10:52Speaker 3: not a really good team, but I'll say this. And
- 10:54Speaker 3: you know, I always like to do this throughout the week.
- 10:56Speaker 3: I got a lot of sharp stuff to run off.
- 10:57Speaker 3: So I'm just going to throw a couple of games
- 10:59Speaker 3: out there. Just, just bear with me guys. Kent state
- 11:02Speaker 3: took money at five and a half. Buffalo took money
- 11:04Speaker 3: at 16 and a half. Auburn took money at seven
- 11:07Speaker 3: and a half. Minnesota took money at seven and a
- 11:10Speaker 3: half and they laid 16 with James Madison.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Joe, any early leans?
- 11:18Speaker 2: Did, Did you say they took Minnesota? What were they
- 11:21Speaker 2: getting originally? Seven?
- 11:23Speaker 3: Yeah. Wow.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Okay. Good number because it's five and a half now.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Yeah, the Michigan Heat, Joe.
- 11:33Speaker 4: That is crazy. And what happens to Tennessee at home?
- 11:37Speaker 4: Do they bounce back after throwing up all over themselves
- 11:41Speaker 4: against Texas?
- 11:42Speaker 1: And they had it too, dude. They had that upside kick.
- 11:46Speaker 2: They did.
- 11:47Speaker 1: It was there for them.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Yep. That's brutal.
- 11:51Speaker 1: They just went backwards.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Yep.
- 11:54Speaker 4: And Florida, I think it's 13 consecutive games against top
- 11:57Speaker 4: 25 teams on the road.
- 11:59Speaker 2: They have lost.
- 12:01Speaker 4: So they are now taking on Missouri. I can make
- 12:06Speaker 4: the argument, what in the hell is Missouri after losing
- 12:09Speaker 4: to Mississippi State even in the top 25-4? But that's
- 12:13Speaker 4: going to be a put-up or shut-up time. And I've
- 12:15Speaker 4: seen nothing but early Florida money there, Art. And it
- 12:20Speaker 4: makes sense. Listen, Missouri's got a great story rolling right now.
- 12:23Speaker 4: That kid Austin Simmons is another quarterback that could be
- 12:27Speaker 4: part of the upcoming NFL draft. But you're going to
- 12:31Speaker 4: have to impress me here. I don't know what that
- 12:33Speaker 4: total is, but it's probably not high enough either.
- 12:36Speaker 3: And then what, Florida, obviously always hard to go on
- 12:40Speaker 3: the road in the SEC. They went on the road
- 12:42Speaker 3: to beat Auburn.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Yep.
- 12:44Speaker 3: You know, it's like, how do you compare the games? Obviously, Florida,
- 12:48Speaker 3: the way people look at them is a lot different
- 12:50Speaker 3: now because obviously they just beat Ole Miss. They didn't
- 12:52Speaker 3: beat Ole Miss. They destroyed Ole Miss, but now they
- 12:55Speaker 3: got to go back on the road against, you know,
- 12:57Speaker 3: basically a fringe top 25 team. So, That's an interesting
- 13:00Speaker 3: spot for Florida. There's no letdowns in that SEC.
- 13:03Speaker 2: None.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Yep. To say the least. Okay. Bet or fade. What
- 13:09Speaker 1: we're going to do today is go through the... Three
- 13:12Speaker 1: and O NFL teams. Tomorrow, we're going to go through
- 13:16Speaker 1: the O and three NFL teams. There are seven in play.
- 13:20Speaker 1: We'll start off with the Buffalo Bills. They're playing New England.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I think Buffalo is the best team in the league
- 13:26Speaker 1: by far. I mean, I literally... By far. They are
- 13:32Speaker 1: getting New England in a tough spot. I wouldn't want
- 13:35Speaker 1: to play New England here at minus seven. I feel
- 13:38Speaker 1: like all the hate coming in on New England, the
- 13:41Speaker 1: Drake May is getting it all over. If they don't
- 13:44Speaker 1: get their act together this week, they might be in
- 13:47Speaker 1: for a long season. I think it's a wait and
- 13:50Speaker 1: see for this week with Buffalo, but they are a
- 13:54Speaker 1: bet on team for me moving forward.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Art?
- 13:58Speaker 3: Totally agree. You and I are in line. They are
- 13:59Speaker 3: the best team in the league. I would be careful
- 14:02Speaker 3: this week, though. I wouldn't want to lay seven in
- 14:04Speaker 3: the division because you're right. New England needs it. I mean,
- 14:07Speaker 3: they need to play well. Even if they lose, they
- 14:09Speaker 3: just need to play well. So to lay seven in
- 14:12Speaker 3: the division would be tough. But, you know, we're not
- 14:14Speaker 3: shocking anyone saying Buffalo's the best team.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Joke.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Somebody just name me the one young quarterback that Josh
- 14:23Speaker 4: McDaniels has actually helped grow into a solid quarterback.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Because I can't come up with one.
- 14:30Speaker 1: No, I mean, he didn't have any either.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Oh, he didn't?
- 14:33Speaker 3: Matt Jones.
- 14:36Speaker 4: I mean, you know, you got to be kidding me.
- 14:38Speaker 4: What do you have, Tebow in Denver?
- 14:41Speaker 2: Tebow. Yeah, Tebow in Denver, and then the Raiders.
- 14:45Speaker 4: No, it's not a shock there that New England is sucking,
- 14:50Speaker 4: to say the least. But Buffalo, here's my problem with Buffalo.
- 14:54Speaker 4: I think the head coach is a moron. Why he
- 14:57Speaker 4: is running Josh Allen in week three of the NFL season,
- 15:02Speaker 4: and he's calling quarterback sneaks on.
- 15:06Speaker 2: His own 35-yard line.
- 15:08Speaker 4: What are you doing getting this guy getting crushed in
- 15:11Speaker 4: week three against a 0-3 Chargers team?
- 15:14Speaker 2: What are you doing? Like, give it to Cook. Give
- 15:18Speaker 2: it to anybody else.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Preserve josh allen and stop running him like he's a
- 15:23Speaker 4: run-of-the-mill quarterback he's gonna get this guy killed at some.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Point he really is well he did he did announce
- 15:29Speaker 1: that that was the plan coming into the season uh
- 15:32Speaker 1: cincinnati bengals uh you know how high i've been on
- 15:36Speaker 1: this team uh moving forward well cincinnati's not three and
- 15:40Speaker 1: oh why lost yeah they lost kansas city chiefs are
- 15:44Speaker 1: three and oh There's six 3-0 teams. I think Kansas
- 15:47Speaker 1: City is a fade for me right at this particular moment.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I think Vegas is the right call. With that said,
- 15:55Speaker 1: I think Kansas City is a good football team, a
- 16:01Speaker 1: better team than they were last year. But they're going
- 16:04Speaker 1: to be fade for me this week, Art.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Yeah, against another 3-0 team, Raiders. Obviously, they got to
- 16:10Speaker 3: go on the road in the division, lay over a
- 16:12Speaker 3: field goal. I'm not saying the Raiders are great, but
- 16:15Speaker 3: I think the way they presented themselves this year was saying,
- 16:19Speaker 3: we have the number one pick, but we're going to
- 16:20Speaker 3: bring a veteran in. Now that veteran's winning, they're going
- 16:23Speaker 3: to keep playing if they're winning. I like the Raiders
- 16:25Speaker 3: this week, especially catching four, four and a half.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Yeah, me too. Joe, moving forward, are the Chiefs a
- 16:31Speaker 1: bet-on team or a fade team?
- 16:35Speaker 4: So one of these 3-0 teams is a complete fraud,
- 16:39Speaker 4: and it's not Kansas City.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Okay. So the Raiders are a complete fraud.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Total fraud.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Weren't you really high on the New Orleans Saints last week?
- 16:51Speaker 2: That was me. The over.
- 16:53Speaker 3: That was me. I love the Saints.
- 16:55Speaker 1: He was on the Saints, yes. I like the over
- 16:58Speaker 1: as well in the Kansas City Raiders game. So the
- 17:02Speaker 1: Raiders are 3-0, and you think they're a fraud. I
- 17:05Speaker 1: don't know. You know, Kirk Cousins has put up some really,
- 17:10Speaker 1: really good numbers. They found a running game. Their defense
- 17:13Speaker 1: is playing at least better than they.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Were last year. Defense is good. But they can't rush
- 17:19Speaker 2: the ball. They still can't rush the ball.
- 17:21Speaker 4: And if it wasn't for three turnovers in the fourth
- 17:24Speaker 4: quarter by Tyler Shock, they get their ass handed to
- 17:27Speaker 4: them in that game because they lost most of that game.
- 17:30Speaker 4: They were losing. They got out-gamed. They got out-everything. And
- 17:34Speaker 4: they just won the turnover battle. You're not winning that
- 17:36Speaker 4: against Kansas City. And maybe good teams find a way
- 17:39Speaker 4: to win. I'm on the Raiders this week.
- 17:42Speaker 2: They're not a good team.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Art, what do you think of the Raiders?
- 17:46Speaker 3: I don't think they're a good team, but if you're
- 17:48Speaker 3: just looking at a situational spot for one week, moving forward,
- 17:52Speaker 3: I'd probably want to fade the Raiders. This week, I
- 17:54Speaker 3: would look at the Raiders.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and Joe, when you talk about 3-0 teams that
- 17:59Speaker 1: are frauds, Minnesota is right there. First off, Minnesota did
- 18:03Speaker 1: nothing against Tampa Bay.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I mean, nothing.
- 18:06Speaker 1: They had a punt return that got them seven points.
- 18:11Speaker 1: They had a 50-yard long bomb where the defender tripped
- 18:17Speaker 1: and fell and left the wide receiver open. That was another.
- 18:23Speaker 1: They didn't make it into the red zone once. Now,
- 18:27Speaker 1: I think they have an incredible defense. Don't get me wrong.
- 18:29Speaker 1: But of all the teams, I don't know. I would
- 18:32Speaker 1: probably take Minnesota over the Raiders in Minnesota. But both
- 18:38Speaker 1: of those teams are... are fade teams for me moving forward.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Minnesota more so than the Raiders.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Joe?
- 18:47Speaker 4: Minnesota's going to go in there a bye week, 5-0.
- 18:50Speaker 4: In a division where they are going to have... and
- 18:54Speaker 4: they got the Saints after that. So this is absolutely
- 18:58Speaker 4: a team that can win five games right off the bat,
- 19:00Speaker 4: be 5-0 heading into the bye week, and then who
- 19:03Speaker 4: knows what's going to happen.
- 19:05Speaker 2: They did the hard part.
- 19:06Speaker 4: They gave themselves a cushion in a division nobody thought.
- 19:10Speaker 2: They were going to win five games in all year.
- 19:13Speaker 2: They're already there. It's a very well-coached team.
- 19:15Speaker 4: And, oh, yeah, defense and special teams matter. And the
- 19:19Speaker 4: schedule doesn't get an awful lot harder after that. So
- 19:23Speaker 4: that's why Chicago had to win that game last night.
- 19:25Speaker 4: If they fell to 1-2, given the coming-up schedule here,
- 19:29Speaker 4: all of a sudden the Bears are, you know, they're
- 19:31Speaker 4: three games, three-and-a-half games back of the Minnesota Vikings, and
- 19:35Speaker 4: the Minnesota Vikings already beat them. So it's a tough spot.
- 19:39Speaker 4: It was a tough spot for the Bears last night.
- 19:42Speaker 1: And the 49ers. Oh, Art, you want to talk about Minnesota?
- 19:48Speaker 3: Quick, Joe, I hope they go 5-0 because then we
- 19:50Speaker 3: can fade Minnesota. I agree. If they start getting priced...
- 19:55Speaker 3: like a 5-0 team. They should have lost week one
- 19:57Speaker 3: in Green Bay. They won the Bear game 9-3. The
- 20:00Speaker 3: Bears were inside the 10 three times. They got no points.
- 20:03Speaker 3: And then last week, Prez said it, they didn't even
- 20:05Speaker 3: get in the red zone at one. So all I'm
- 20:07Speaker 3: saying is moving forward, let's hope they're 5-0. They come
- 20:09Speaker 3: out of the bye week, we could start fading them.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Yeah, we're on the same page. And the 49ers, guys,
- 20:14Speaker 1: I'm so high on this team. I'm looking to bet
- 20:20Speaker 1: on the 49ers all the time, including this week against Denver.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Art?
- 20:25Speaker 3: Are you starting to get worried, though, about the injuries?
- 20:28Speaker 3: I mean, this is.
- 20:29Speaker 1: We've been down this path already.
- 20:32Speaker 3: I know, and it's every year, and it derails them, though.
- 20:35Speaker 3: I mean, they might win their 12 games. Listen, and
- 20:37Speaker 3: we're just talking about moving forward. Do we like a team? Yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 3: I like San Francisco, too. But if they're going to
- 20:42Speaker 3: do anything big in January, they've got to stay healthy,
- 20:45Speaker 3: and it's incredible the way these injuries just keep piling
- 20:49Speaker 3: up on them. But I'm with you, Prez. They've shown
- 20:51Speaker 3: that they're one of the two, three, four best teams.
- 20:53Speaker 1: In the league. Guys, we will be bringing the predictive
- 20:57Speaker 1: market segment back. I promise you that. It hasn't gone anywhere. Joe,
- 21:02Speaker 1: MLB rundown. We've got the baseball playoff starting today. Why
- 21:07Speaker 1: don't you and Art do that? I'll do the NHL
- 21:09Speaker 1: rundown and we'll get to the mailbag section at the
- 21:12Speaker 1: end of the show.
- 21:13Speaker 2: All right. Easy enough there.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Art coming up this afternoon. Philadelphia and Atlanta here. Atlanta
- 21:20Speaker 4: is the rightful favorite at home. Uh, sail on a mound,
- 21:24Speaker 4: but I will say this, uh, it lines up in
- 21:27Speaker 4: game two and three. If it gets there, that's good.
- 21:30Speaker 4: It's going to be big advantage, Philadelphia set, especially on
- 21:33Speaker 4: the mound.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, you know, you always want to start
- 21:37Speaker 3: off in a three game series winning game one, but you,
- 21:39Speaker 3: you mentioned it when Atlanta is going to have their big,
- 21:42Speaker 3: big guy on the mound. They got to win the game.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Biggest favorite on the board books will need Philadelphia because
- 21:48Speaker 3: Atlanta is going to start all the money line parlays today.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:51Speaker 4: I would wait till, wait to back Philadelphia after they
- 21:55Speaker 4: lose this one here tonight, because they will have big
- 21:58Speaker 4: advantages on the mound from here on out. Then you've
- 22:01Speaker 4: got everyone's favorite, the White Sox and Houston here. Two
- 22:05Speaker 4: teams in the postseason that are throwing bullpen games.
- 22:08Speaker 2: That tells you everything you need to know here. But yeah,
- 22:11Speaker 2: I'll take a dog in that spot anytime, Art.
- 22:15Speaker 3: I totally agree. I know you put them in the
- 22:17Speaker 3: parlay of the day. I lean with the White Sox
- 22:19Speaker 3: as well. And the Sharps do too, Joe, if it's
- 22:21Speaker 3: going to, Basically, it'd be a bullpen toss-up game, and
- 22:23Speaker 3: you're going to give me the White Sox when it
- 22:25Speaker 3: was as high as, like, plus 115? Yeah, you got
- 22:28Speaker 3: to look that way.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Yeah, Yankees and Red Sox in the Bronx. Schlittler, Toll,
- 22:33Speaker 4: first one to score wins, Art, in this one for me.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw a lot of six-and-a-halves, and then I
- 22:39Speaker 3: saw some sixes this morning. Obviously, juiced pretty heavily to
- 22:42Speaker 3: the over there. And then I have mentioned it the
- 22:45Speaker 3: last couple of days. Red Sox money coming in left
- 22:48Speaker 3: and right, and that is sharp money.
- 22:49Speaker 4: And then the Cubs and the Padres tonight, Boyd against
- 22:53Speaker 4: Michael King. Seven and a half is the total, but
- 22:58Speaker 4: as good a hitting club as Chicago is, that bullpen
- 23:02Speaker 4: edge for the Padres does it for me, man. I mean,
- 23:05Speaker 4: they only need five out of King, and then it's
- 23:08Speaker 4: lights out. And nobody hit lefties better down the stretch
- 23:11Speaker 4: than the Padres did.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, listen, the Padres are basically the hottest
- 23:15Speaker 3: team in baseball coming into this postseason. Cubs kind of,
- 23:19Speaker 3: you know, they falter a little bit at the end there.
- 23:21Speaker 3: And obviously now San Diego has the home field advantage.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Big pitching edge for San Diego today with the starter.
- 23:27Speaker 3: And like you said, the bullpen, you can really shorten
- 23:29Speaker 3: the game.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Yep, big time. And there is your Major League Baseball rundown, Prez.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Well, my brother, it's good to be back doing the
- 23:36Speaker 1: NHL rundown. We got five games today. Stanley Cup champions
- 23:42Speaker 1: hosting Florida. Stanley Cup champions in game one, 59% historically.
- 23:46Speaker 1: With that said... I think the play here is on
- 23:53Speaker 1: the under in this game. I don't love this game
- 23:58Speaker 1: at all. It's a wait and see, but if I
- 24:00Speaker 1: had to bet it, I would take the under. I
- 24:02Speaker 1: like Montreal here, guys. I'm a Toronto Leaf fan. I'm
- 24:06Speaker 1: actually going to the game tomorrow night, but I will
- 24:09Speaker 1: tell you guys, we just had a huge trade. Matthew
- 24:12Speaker 1: Nye's traded for Kapril Marchenko. He will not be in
- 24:16Speaker 1: the lineup. I think that's a big deal, and I
- 24:18Speaker 1: think Montreal is coming into the season with with exceptionally
- 24:22Speaker 1: high hopes, super excited, really, really strong team. We're getting
- 24:26Speaker 1: them at basically a pick-em. We'll take the haves. I
- 24:30Speaker 1: like the under in the Boston-New York Rangers game, and
- 24:34Speaker 1: I like Boston as well here. I think Boston is
- 24:37Speaker 1: going to be a better team this year than most
- 24:40Speaker 1: people think, and I think the New York Rangers have
- 24:42Speaker 1: fixed absolutely nothing. Remember last year, it took the New
- 24:47Speaker 1: York Rangers to game four just to score one single goal.
- 24:51Speaker 1: So we're going to take the under in that game
- 24:54Speaker 1: and Boston. As for the Edmonton Oilers, they're my best
- 24:58Speaker 1: bet on the board that I did not release to
- 25:01Speaker 1: my clients. Minus one and a half. I have a
- 25:03Speaker 1: free pickup over at Wage Talk discussing it. I think
- 25:06Speaker 1: this game could be 6-1. I think you could see
- 25:09Speaker 1: a minus two and a half, a minus three and
- 25:12Speaker 1: a half. Gopher broke minus four and a half. And
- 25:15Speaker 1: I think you could do the exact same thing with Vegas.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Vegas is playing a Chicago Blackhawks team. No Conor Bedard.
- 25:23Speaker 1: They really have done very little this offseason to improve.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Vegas is coming in with that bad taste in their
- 25:29Speaker 1: mouth from the Stanley Cup loss. I think they win
- 25:32Speaker 1: this game going away as well. Minus one and a half,
- 25:35Speaker 1: minus two and a half, that type of a thing.
- 25:37Speaker 1: That's it for the NHL Rundown, everyone. Off to the
- 25:41Speaker 1: mailbag section of the show. And I'm going to start
- 25:44Speaker 1: right off the bat with the Celine. He writes, hey, Prez,
- 25:48Speaker 1: you keep talking about how you believe that Arch Manning
- 25:51Speaker 1: is going to save the Dolphins. Art and Joe, have
- 25:54Speaker 1: you ever heard me say that? He says, I keep
- 25:57Speaker 1: talking about it. Have you heard me say that one
- 25:59Speaker 1: time in my entire life? I don't think so. I mean,
- 26:05Speaker 1: the only time you mentioned– All I said was that
- 26:07Speaker 1: Miami was going to pick Arch.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Yeah, sure.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I just said they were going to pick Arch. I
- 26:11Speaker 1: didn't say some kind of– like, why are you coming
- 26:14Speaker 1: on here and making this shit up?
- 26:16Speaker 4: Arch is not going to be the number one pick.
- 26:19Speaker 1: He thinks it's going to be Chamblee, which is good. Trinidad, whatever.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Trinidad, Chambliss, yeah.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Chambliss. Yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Yeah, Coombe, lots of love, my friend. His bad beats
- 26:33Speaker 1: have continued. George Wood picked quite the weekend to buy
- 26:38Speaker 1: Joe an art. Do it again this weekend, George. They're
- 26:42Speaker 1: going to both bounce back, okay? Do it again this weekend.
- 26:46Speaker 1: At Joe's weekend the week before was spectacular. Matt Crenshaw, art.
- 26:52Speaker 1: He writes, Herbert is winless since getting engaged to Madison Beer.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Now I understand his point.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Overrated.
- 27:01Speaker 1: I think that Herbert won.
- 27:06Speaker 3: That's it. No. Herbert's a loser. He is such a loser.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Would I rather sleep with Madison Beer or win a
- 27:14Speaker 1: football game? Yeah, I'm going with Madison Beer.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree.
- 27:22Speaker 1: How is he a loser, Art?
- 27:24Speaker 3: He's a loser. He's a loser. First of all, you
- 27:27Speaker 3: act like Madison Beer is the only woman he could get.
- 27:29Speaker 3: I think he'd do just fine in LA.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I think he could get any damn woman.
- 27:34Speaker 3: She's also, she's trying to be Taylor Swift light in
- 27:38Speaker 3: the box, cheering him on. He's 0-3. The whole operation
- 27:43Speaker 3: is a loser operation. At least Taylor Swift's cheering on
- 27:47Speaker 3: a team who wins. No, it's ridiculous. I'm sick. I'm
- 27:52Speaker 3: more sick of those two than I am Swift and Kelsey.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Oh, Swift and Kelsey are so cute. But you don't
- 27:59Speaker 1: see any Haley Steinfeld, eh? Josh Allen. No. None of her.
- 28:05Speaker 1: She's probably busy with a career. Brian Gaddy. Georgia and
- 28:11Speaker 1: Notre Dame, number one and two in college football. Joe, thoughts?
- 28:15Speaker 2: I'm with him on Georgia.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I think Georgia is by far the number one team.
- 28:20Speaker 2: It isn't Texas.
- 28:21Speaker 4: It's any combination of Georgia, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Miami.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Take your pick. But it's definitely not Texas.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Art needs to cut his hair based on that BS
- 28:32Speaker 1: South Alabama call. Yeah, Art's going to lose games. And
- 28:37Speaker 1: speaking of a haircut.
- 28:39Speaker 3: I love South Alabama.
- 28:41Speaker 1: He's now 2-0 with his haircut pick. We'll be giving
- 28:44Speaker 1: out his haircut play on Thursday, so make sure to
- 28:48Speaker 1: check that out. The franchise super pumped for the hockey season,
- 28:54Speaker 1: or as the Leafs call it, six months of depression. Yeah,
- 28:59Speaker 1: there you go. Another person taking shots at the Leafs.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Indiana is not a top 10 team.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Art, do you agree?
- 29:09Speaker 3: They haven't looked like it. I mean, who have they
- 29:11Speaker 3: really played?
- 29:12Speaker 2: Well, no, no. Top 10?
- 29:14Speaker 4: They're a top 10 team. They're not a number one team,
- 29:17Speaker 4: but they're a top 10 team.
- 29:19Speaker 3: They haven't looked like it, though.
- 29:22Speaker 4: Well, top 10 is different than top one. So, number
- 29:27Speaker 4: one in the country. You're still defending champs until somebody
- 29:30Speaker 4: beats you.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Yeah, no doubt. And listen, top 10, you're still in
- 29:33Speaker 3: the playoffs, right? I mean, so... yeah, we've got to
- 29:36Speaker 3: see more of that.
- 29:36Speaker 2: I'd still bet him in the playoffs. I'd still bet
- 29:38Speaker 2: him if it started today.
- 29:41Speaker 1: That's the show, everyone. Tomorrow, Ralph Michaels TNA segment. As well,
- 29:47Speaker 1: we're going to take apart the 0-3 NFL teams. You've
- 29:50Speaker 1: got some more college football coming your way. NHL and baseball,
- 29:54Speaker 1: stay with us every single day. Hit that like button.
- 29:58Speaker 1: I want to get over 10,000 views. What can we
- 30:02Speaker 1: do if we get... Joe will shave his head if
- 30:06Speaker 1: we get over 10,000 views.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Sure, absolutely.
- 30:10Speaker 3: That sounds reasonable.
- 30:13Speaker 1: He's not doing any of that.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Zero amount.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Would you still do it, Joe? Would you still do it?
- 30:20Speaker 2: Get me 10,000 views, Prez, and we'll find out.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Okay. Come on! Lots of love, everybody. We'll see you
- 30:29Speaker 1: all tomorrow.
