Ford’s recalling over 741,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to a transmission flaw that could cause cars to roll away when parked — a serious safety risk affecting Expeditions, Navigators, Explorers, Lincoln Aviators, and some F-150s. Dealerships will fix the issue for free via software updates and part replacements, with initial notices starting August 3, 2026, and full repairs expected by April 2027.
