Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio everybody.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's Frankie Friday. Goodness gracious, what an idea our producers
- 0:11Speaker 2: had to do Frankie Fridays. As we get ready for
- 0:16Speaker 2: I have actually an inside source today actually telling me
- 0:19Speaker 2: this is that me. No, it's not you. I think
- 0:23Speaker 2: I would drop your name. I can't drop this person's name.
- 0:26Speaker 2: But somebody who works on the show has a high
- 0:31Speaker 2: position on the show still to this day texted me,
- 0:35Speaker 2: which is very nice. I appreciated it, and I we
- 0:38Speaker 2: just kind of text them back and forth and I said, Hey,
- 0:42Speaker 2: how is work and they said it's fantastic. This upcoming
- 0:47Speaker 2: season of the Bachelorette is epic.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Oh great, Yeah, they haven't said that in a while.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I know, I know put their name behind it. So
- 0:55Speaker 2: at some point we'll have to get that person on
- 0:57Speaker 2: to talk more in detail about maybe what we can expect.
- 0:59Speaker 2: But Frankie is a day where we break down everything
- 1:02Speaker 2: happening that we know of in Taylor, Frankie Paul's life
- 1:06Speaker 2: as we prepare for the next season of the Bachelorette.
- 1:08Speaker 2: But before we get started, I need your help, Ashley,
- 1:10Speaker 2: friend of friend.
- 1:11Speaker 3: I would love it, Ben, I'd love to help.
- 1:13Speaker 2: There's two things we want to talk about today. One
- 1:16Speaker 2: I was just discussing before we got on air about
- 1:18Speaker 2: my insecurities with hair. We'll talk about that in a
- 1:21Speaker 2: little bit, but before we dive into that conversation, I
- 1:25Speaker 2: need human help. And we get messages from you listeners
- 1:29Speaker 2: that are greatly appreciated, oftentimes giving us feedback on something
- 1:32Speaker 2: we said, or opinion we had, or something maybe we
- 1:34Speaker 2: didn't say. And I'd take all the feedback I can get.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Right now, I'm having a tough day and I don't
- 1:40Speaker 2: know why. It's not a big deal. It's not the
- 1:41Speaker 2: biggest deal in the world. But I Every Wednesday, we
- 1:45Speaker 2: have a call with a buddy of mine who has als.
- 1:48Speaker 2: We've talked about him before, you know his name. His
- 1:50Speaker 2: name is Brandon. We do this zoom call with people
- 1:53Speaker 2: from all over the country, like buddies of his, and
- 1:55Speaker 2: we just pretty much talk about life. I hope those
- 1:57Speaker 2: notes from that meet, Yeah, I hope the notes from
- 1:59Speaker 2: that meeting never get put into the public because they're wild.
- 2:06Speaker 2: But I had a moment today and I've been having
- 2:10Speaker 2: these I want to say consistently, but they happened to
- 2:13Speaker 2: me every once in a while, especially in social situations
- 2:17Speaker 2: where I have something I need to tell everybody, Like
- 2:20Speaker 2: somebody brings says something and I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 2:22Speaker 2: that reminds me of this thing that I need to
- 2:25Speaker 2: talk about. But that person's talking, so I'll wait, and
- 2:28Speaker 2: then I completely forget what I want to talk ask about.
- 2:31Speaker 2: And it is haunting me today. Actually, I've had calls
- 2:34Speaker 2: all day, I've been on meetings all day, and I
- 2:36Speaker 2: cannot get this out of my head. I've gone on
- 2:37Speaker 2: a walks, I've prayed, I've listened to music. I don't
- 2:40Speaker 2: know if I needed to like take a few shots
- 2:43Speaker 2: of something just to get my mind clear. But like
- 2:45Speaker 2: it is driving me insane, and it's like really haunting me.
- 2:50Speaker 3: There's so much here so my friends, well, on my
- 2:55Speaker 3: other podcast, I don't get it. We were such interrupters.
- 2:58Speaker 3: We called ourselves interrupters because we couldn't possibly continue let
- 3:03Speaker 3: conversation continue without getting that thought out, because we were
- 3:07Speaker 3: in such fear that we would forget about what we
- 3:10Speaker 3: were gonna say. And like, really, I should probably just
- 3:13Speaker 3: had a notepad right next to me. But just in
- 3:15Speaker 3: general friend conversations especially I think with the women we
- 3:20Speaker 3: tend to be. There are two types of people I've
- 3:22Speaker 3: seen Instagram reels and stuff like this. People who are
- 3:25Speaker 3: interrupters that absolutely have no problem interrupting, and it's like
- 3:31Speaker 3: out of just friendship, you know, blah, And then they
- 3:35Speaker 3: would never take that as to be like something that's
- 3:38Speaker 3: offensive if somebody cuts them off. And then there are
- 3:41Speaker 3: people who are very offended when they're not able to
- 3:44Speaker 3: be finished. And a lot of the times friendship's between
- 3:47Speaker 3: interrupters and non interrupters. It's hard, and you can see
- 3:50Speaker 3: on this podcast, I'm definitely an interrupter because I'm always stressed,
- 3:54Speaker 3: I'm gonna lose my thought, and I also don't want
- 3:56Speaker 3: I would think it would be rude if I were to,
- 4:00Speaker 3: which is crazy. You let me know, is this what
- 4:02Speaker 3: you would prefer me just kind of go into the
- 4:06Speaker 3: note section of my computer and start tapping during your
- 4:10Speaker 3: completed thought or should I continue to say it? Because
- 4:14Speaker 3: to me, I guess the tapping seems more distracting than
- 4:17Speaker 3: you'd be like, oh.
- 4:18Speaker 2: My god, yeah, you know it's I think in a friendship,
- 4:25Speaker 2: if we weren't recording episodes, that should be at least
- 4:29Speaker 2: pleasing to the audience sphere at some level. Yeah, then interrupting,
- 4:34Speaker 2: I don't think works because you don't want me to
- 4:37Speaker 2: be going off and off on my soapboxes that I do,
- 4:40Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, like you interrupt and then
- 4:42Speaker 2: my train of thought gets messed up or I don't
- 4:45Speaker 2: get to finish my thoughts, so you like interrupt me
- 4:47Speaker 2: at a moment where it's maybe most like contentious and
- 4:51Speaker 2: I don't get to actually close out the loop, so
- 4:53Speaker 2: that maybe it makes more sense.
- 4:55Speaker 3: So I'm going to keep a notepad next to me
- 4:57Speaker 3: from now on.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I guess my question. I do that with you. I
- 5:01Speaker 2: have usually a scrap piece of paper. Here are all
- 5:04Speaker 2: write questions down. I guess here's where I come into
- 5:08Speaker 2: this issue at because it does happen to me, and
- 5:12Speaker 2: it is something that I cannot get out of my
- 5:14Speaker 2: head all day long, and then at two am usually
- 5:18Speaker 2: like that thought comes back and I'm like, oh, that's
- 5:20Speaker 2: what I wanted to say. How do I not and
- 5:24Speaker 2: I have this Google search up right now. I've tried
- 5:26Speaker 2: everything today. Goodness gracious, how I don't let intrusive thoughts
- 5:30Speaker 2: haunt me? Or how I can the article that I'm
- 5:36Speaker 2: about to read is called how to Survive a cringe attack,
- 5:39Speaker 2: the Science and Psychology of Embarrassing moments. So it's a
- 5:43Speaker 2: very similar feeling ashually for me when I do something
- 5:47Speaker 2: embarrassing and I lay in bed at night and I
- 5:50Speaker 2: like stick my head into the pill, and I'm like
- 5:52Speaker 2: why did I say that? And then sometimes like even
- 5:53Speaker 2: I have a physical reaction to it, like I jerk,
- 5:56Speaker 2: like WHOA, what did I do that? I have that
- 6:00Speaker 2: the same to me feeling kind of right now, and
- 6:02Speaker 2: I'm wondering, how do you deal? Like I don't know
- 6:04Speaker 2: if getting over it is necessarily the word I want
- 6:06Speaker 2: to use, but like, how do you deal with this thing?
- 6:10Speaker 2: Because I'm sure I'm not the only one.
- 6:12Speaker 3: So my initial question to you is, actually, was it
- 6:15Speaker 3: the fact that you interrupted that you felt weird about
- 6:18Speaker 3: all day that was haunting you? Or was it the
- 6:20Speaker 3: fact that you had a thought that you forgot and
- 6:23Speaker 3: you were so frustrated that was lingering and you could
- 6:26Speaker 3: figure Okay, So there's two whole separate conversations here, Yeah,
- 6:30Speaker 3: interrupting the one. The other one is, yes, that feeling
- 6:34Speaker 3: of forgetting your thought can really haunt you for hours afterward.
- 6:40Speaker 3: This happened with me the other day at dinner with
- 6:43Speaker 3: Caitlin and Becca, and it was like I just sat
- 6:46Speaker 3: there feeling incomplete for quite some time.
- 6:49Speaker 2: You just put a great word to this. I feel
- 6:52Speaker 2: incomplete right now, Ashley. I feel like I am not
- 6:56Speaker 2: my full excel.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Yes, the other part of you is searching for that thought.
- 7:02Speaker 2: So I don't know. Hey, listeners right in, I need
- 7:06Speaker 2: your help. It's usually a consensus of people that end
- 7:10Speaker 2: up speaking to this. I think I've brought up my
- 7:13Speaker 2: physical reaction to some embarrassing moments or even like traumatic moments.
- 7:18Speaker 2: I even will have bad dreams sometimes about like maybe
- 7:23Speaker 2: just and I went on a walk and a car
- 7:25Speaker 2: drove by really fast, and I get mad at these
- 7:28Speaker 2: cars these days because we usually have Winny with us
- 7:31Speaker 2: and Waylan. You know, isn't always great when it comes
- 7:34Speaker 2: to a car flying by, and like if it wasn't
- 7:36Speaker 2: for me reacting in that split second, somebody gets hurt
- 7:40Speaker 2: and I'll lay in bed and I'll have like this
- 7:41Speaker 2: jerky reaction to it. I know there's a word for it.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I know somebody out there listening could be like, yes,
- 7:46Speaker 2: this is what's happening. I need advice. I need your help.
- 7:49Speaker 2: The second topic we're going to talk to about today
- 7:51Speaker 2: before we get into Franky Friday's is my relationship with hair.
- 7:53Speaker 2: The producers on the show commented that my beard this week,
- 7:58Speaker 2: I let my beer grow out. I got a little
- 8:00Speaker 2: lazy during the holidays, that's fine, looked extra dark and
- 8:03Speaker 2: wondered why, Well, I didn't die anything. I just think
- 8:06Speaker 2: it might have been the shadows at the angle. But
- 8:10Speaker 2: my relationship with hair has always been something that I
- 8:12Speaker 2: think is one of my insecurities. So years ago, when
- 8:16Speaker 2: we started this show, I thought I was going to
- 8:18Speaker 2: be bald by thirty five. Well, I haven't lost I
- 8:21Speaker 2: haven't lost any hair in like ten years. We knock
- 8:25Speaker 2: on wood, you know, thank the good Lord above, whateveryone
- 8:28Speaker 2: to do. I'm feeling pretty good about that. But there's
- 8:32Speaker 2: parts of my body I want more hair on, like
- 8:34Speaker 2: my head and my beard. I have a patchy beard.
- 8:38Speaker 2: It is a little patchy on the one side. And
- 8:40Speaker 2: then there's so many parts of my body. I remember
- 8:42Speaker 2: in high school, actually I would spend so much time
- 8:46Speaker 2: manicuring myself to not have hair in certain parts of
- 8:50Speaker 2: my body that I was so concerned that I would
- 8:52Speaker 2: have like that sweater, like like i'd have a sweater
- 8:57Speaker 2: when I took off a T shirt at the beach,
- 8:59Speaker 2: it was I'm very fearful of that. I still have
- 9:02Speaker 2: that fear even though I.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Don't happening anymore. But I do feel like men get
- 9:08Speaker 3: hairier like bodies as they get older.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe just gets longer.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Maybe they just don't care anymore.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Yeah, we kind of give up. But I work out
- 9:17Speaker 2: in this workout class every morning, and it's very like acceptable,
- 9:21Speaker 2: Like the girls are in like you know, sports bronze
- 9:23Speaker 2: and like short shorts because it's a heated room, and
- 9:26Speaker 2: so it's very acceptable for the men to take off
- 9:28Speaker 2: their shirts when they work out because it's so hot.
- 9:31Speaker 2: And I still have that like I don't want to
- 9:33Speaker 2: do this because, like you know, it.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Might be hairy today.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I might be here today. Anyways. It's a very weird
- 9:41Speaker 2: thing in my life where so much of my physical
- 9:46Speaker 2: thought processes, as they look back, not as much anymore.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I mean, goodness just is gonna let me no matter what.
- 9:51Speaker 2: But when I was in high school, I look back
- 9:53Speaker 2: on how much time I spent one being concerned about
- 9:57Speaker 2: the hair on my head or on my back or whatever,
- 10:00Speaker 2: and I don't have a Harry back. I don't know
- 10:02Speaker 2: why I spend so much time worrying about it. There's
- 10:04Speaker 2: not a hair on that back, like. I guess my
- 10:08Speaker 2: point to all this is if you're a high school kid.
- 10:11Speaker 2: And I don't think our demo is necessarily high school boys,
- 10:14Speaker 2: But if you're a high school boy listening to this show,
- 10:16Speaker 2: don't worry so much.
- 10:18Speaker 3: We might actually not have one high school listener out
- 10:22Speaker 3: of the I was just doing the count the other day.
- 10:24Speaker 2: I bet we're up over like thirty million, forty million
- 10:27Speaker 2: listens in total, and each week, you know, it's tens
- 10:32Speaker 2: tens of thousands of people that listen to the show.
- 10:34Speaker 2: I bet we don't have one high school boy.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Listening thousand percent.
- 10:38Speaker 2: I don't think we have one, not a single one.
- 10:40Speaker 2: And hey, if you are high school boy listening, please
- 10:42Speaker 2: let us know. We would love to be aware of
- 10:46Speaker 2: our just the I bet you know what, I hope
- 10:50Speaker 2: we all of a sudden find out that we are
- 10:51Speaker 2: like viral in certain high schools when the boys come
- 10:54Speaker 2: in and they're like, did you hear what Ashley said
- 10:56Speaker 2: yesterday about Taylor Franky Paul? Would't that be fun?
- 11:00Speaker 3: That would be fun. That would be fun. This is
- 11:03Speaker 3: the equivalent of an Ashley Jonas like ramble, or like
- 11:07Speaker 3: a Tom Brady ramble like we had the other day.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I made us weakly.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Made us weekly and I'm so sorry.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I do not want to get involved with Tom
- 11:16Speaker 2: Brady and early don't.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Want tom Brady seeing any headline with us associated with him. No.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I saw that. I was like, why of everybody out
- 11:26Speaker 2: there talking about this, am I the one? The one
- 11:29Speaker 2: human who, honestly, without like dancing with the Stars, would
- 11:33Speaker 2: have never known who Alex Earl is, not because I
- 11:35Speaker 2: don't appreciate the work that she's done or what she's
- 11:37Speaker 2: done press. It's just not my thing. And yet I'm
- 11:40Speaker 2: the one that gets for the keyness of them dating.
- 11:44Speaker 2: I don't know them personally.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Good Lord. Bethany Frankel posted something yesterday about it, so
- 11:50Speaker 3: hopefully her points over our cheers.
- 11:54Speaker 2: It's more for me. I'm only commenting on behalf of
- 11:57Speaker 2: a fan who's like, Wow, they're on a yacht. I'm jealous.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I'm envious. They're both hot, Like they're both attractive, and
- 12:05Speaker 2: I don't get it. We have a very exciting season
- 12:19Speaker 2: of The Bachelorette coming up before we get to the bachelorette.
- 12:22Speaker 2: We do got to get to know our bachelorette a
- 12:24Speaker 2: little better. So is Frankie Friday. And I'm gonna start
- 12:28Speaker 2: with this headline, Ashley, We're gonna bring Heather producer Heather
- 12:32Speaker 2: in for this because she is convinced. I think that
- 12:36Speaker 2: this is a subtle hint at how the season goes.
- 12:39Speaker 2: But the headline reads this way, did Taylor just drop
- 12:42Speaker 2: a subtle clue on her Instagram? Ashley? Explain what this
- 12:46Speaker 2: is and let's bring Heather in for her opinion on
- 12:48Speaker 2: why she thinks it's a clue.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Okay, So Taylor posted on December twenty eighth a recap
- 12:54Speaker 3: of twenty twenty five. To it, she set a song
- 12:58Speaker 3: and the song was listened as original audio, so it's
- 13:02Speaker 3: like she imported her own song and it's a male
- 13:05Speaker 3: voice and it's like an acoustic song. The lyrics say
- 13:10Speaker 3: stuff about miss calls, about another adderall and Xanax waiting
- 13:14Speaker 3: for you for when year off. I don't know she
- 13:17Speaker 3: can talk about what she how she interprets these lyrics
- 13:19Speaker 3: a little bit more, but she's basically convinced that she
- 13:23Speaker 3: has released a song of sorts from her winning boy Heather.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Okay, guys, so I went full deep dive on this
- 13:32Speaker 4: the other night, and it was only because, first and foremost,
- 13:36Speaker 4: I will say this, when I was looking through the
- 13:38Speaker 4: Instagram as I always do, I always go to the
- 13:41Speaker 4: comments too for clues, and when I see Taylor's mom
- 13:47Speaker 4: commenting on a video, it's when my Spidey sense goes up. Okay,
- 13:51Speaker 4: So Leanne commented on it and said I like this song,
- 13:56Speaker 4: and Taylor responded and said me too, with the emoji
- 14:01Speaker 4: face with like tears watering in the eyes, and that's
- 14:05Speaker 4: what sent me on the spiral. I was like, okay,
- 14:08Speaker 4: I need you. So if you actually click on a
- 14:11Speaker 4: song on Instagram, if it's connected to a video, it
- 14:14Speaker 4: will take you to all the videos that have used
- 14:17Speaker 4: that song. Yeah, so I was trying to find who
- 14:20Speaker 4: the artist was and what the name of the song was.
- 14:23Speaker 4: So that was the first one. So I clicked it
- 14:26Speaker 4: and Taylor's is the first video and there had been
- 14:29Speaker 4: like four other videos made using the song, but they
- 14:32Speaker 4: were after Taylor did her video.
- 14:34Speaker 3: So yeah, like people are using now her original audio.
- 14:37Speaker 3: But okay, exactly question to you is like, is this
- 14:40Speaker 3: her winner or is this like the person that she
- 14:44Speaker 3: doesn't pick, but then like she made a mistake and
- 14:46Speaker 3: then she should have picked him, And so then she's
- 14:48Speaker 3: posting his song as a I'm sorry, I want you back?
- 14:53Speaker 4: Exactly? Is it somebody who makes it really far and
- 14:57Speaker 4: a one on one date serenades her with a song
- 15:00Speaker 4: which we know has been done on the show at
- 15:02Speaker 4: some point. You know, people love to show off their artistic.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Backgrounds or create new ones mid season.
- 15:11Speaker 3: So yeah, listen.
- 15:12Speaker 4: I looked high and low for these lyrics on the internet.
- 15:16Speaker 4: I could not find them. There were multiple people in
- 15:20Speaker 4: the comments saying I like this song, who is this?
- 15:23Speaker 4: Asking her who the artist is. She never responded saying
- 15:27Speaker 4: who sang the song, but she did respond saying the
- 15:31Speaker 4: name of the song is called Fruits of Your Labor.
- 15:35Speaker 3: It's definitely one of the guys from her show, and
- 15:39Speaker 3: if it wasn't her winner, then her winner would be
- 15:42Speaker 3: pissed that this is true?
- 15:44Speaker 4: That is but I then, so then I tried to
- 15:47Speaker 4: look at her list of guys and tried to see
- 15:50Speaker 4: who was listed as like a country music artist something,
- 15:53Speaker 4: and I really couldn't.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Figure it out.
- 15:56Speaker 4: I think there is a guy in Nashville this season
- 16:00Speaker 4: on her season who I think dabbles in country music,
- 16:03Speaker 4: but I don't think he makes it very far. So
- 16:07Speaker 4: I feel like it's probably one of our top contenders
- 16:10Speaker 4: who we says but not reported on, and maybe this
- 16:17Speaker 4: is just a hobby but not his actual career.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Okay, that's my two cents.
- 16:22Speaker 4: I'm being a CIA agent. If I'm wrong and somebody
- 16:25Speaker 4: does know that's listening who the artist is that sings
- 16:28Speaker 4: this song, come and roast me in the comments. But
- 16:30Speaker 4: I don't think we're gonna find it.
- 16:31Speaker 2: There's zero chance the show's okay with this.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Oh yes they are. They love her doing this is
- 16:37Speaker 3: she gets she's the exception to the rule. She gets
- 16:40Speaker 3: to do this stuff.
- 16:41Speaker 2: She just gets to like not subtlely. I mean, if
- 16:44Speaker 2: this is really him, then this is not just a
- 16:48Speaker 2: subtle hint. This is like a like you said, if
- 16:51Speaker 2: she ends up with a different guy, that guy's gonna
- 16:54Speaker 2: be like, what in the world are you doing here?
- 16:56Speaker 4: First, on the almost Famous podcast, all I'm saying nobody
- 16:58Speaker 4: else is reporting on this, so thanks.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Bite, we are. We're reporting on this. We're really good
- 17:03Speaker 2: at this stuff, all right. Next headline is this, if
- 17:16Speaker 2: anybody is wondering. We talked about this a few weeks ago.
- 17:19Speaker 2: People have been commenting for weeks about this guy. He's
- 17:23Speaker 2: blown up from her being the Bachelor. But the headline is,
- 17:27Speaker 2: is anybody wondering what Taylor is ex Dakota is up to?
- 17:31Speaker 3: I feel like these people who love Mormon wives so much,
- 17:34Speaker 3: they always know what Dakota is up to, but if
- 17:36Speaker 3: you don't. He was subtly hinting out a woman being
- 17:42Speaker 3: in his life. The last time we did a Frankie Friday,
- 17:45Speaker 3: he posted like a girl's hair and him like very
- 17:49Speaker 3: close to the hair and then I think it was
- 17:51Speaker 3: hands or like a fullt or something like that. We
- 17:54Speaker 3: thought he was trying to soft launch someone, but ever
- 17:57Speaker 3: since that post we haven't seen anything else. We have, however,
- 18:01Speaker 3: seen him take their son, their shared son ever to
- 18:05Speaker 3: get his haircut for the first time. Was it his
- 18:08Speaker 3: first haircut? I'm not sure, and it was very funny.
- 18:11Speaker 3: So if you want to check that out, go for it.
- 18:14Speaker 3: That's his recent update on social Ashley.
- 18:19Speaker 2: This headline is one that has to do with Taylor,
- 18:23Speaker 2: but we've had to have it explained to us on
- 18:25Speaker 2: why it has to do with Taylor. But it's been
- 18:27Speaker 2: a big deal that Letia Gar launched a new podcast.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Her co host is somebody connected to Taylor. From my
- 18:36Speaker 2: understanding based on season three of The Secret Lives Ashley One,
- 18:44Speaker 2: Letia Gar launched a new podcast. That's a headline in itself,
- 18:49Speaker 2: but it's who she did it with that are making
- 18:51Speaker 2: people go hmmm.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Yeah. So we have talked about Letia being part of
- 18:58Speaker 3: like the Secret Lives community a little bit on the outside.
- 19:02Speaker 3: She has shot in episodes but never really made it
- 19:05Speaker 3: on an episode. And she lives, of course, in Salt
- 19:09Speaker 3: Lake City, Utah. And she's launching a podcast with one
- 19:14Speaker 3: of the ex husbands, Chase mcwater. So that's something launching
- 19:22Speaker 3: a podcast with one of the girl's ex husbands. What
- 19:26Speaker 3: will this be about, I don't know, says two Lonely
- 19:33Speaker 3: Friends one podcast, and it's called the Lonely Friends Pod.
- 19:39Speaker 3: It's coming in summertime, in January.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I mean goodness, it's what we do for a living.
- 19:46Speaker 2: But the world has a lot of podcasts. So typically
- 19:51Speaker 2: when somebody says, hey, we're launching a new podcast, I'm like,
- 19:55Speaker 2: go for it. I hope it works, but there's a
- 19:59Speaker 2: lot out there. However, it does feel like this has
- 20:03Speaker 2: gotten enough steam people are curious enough about it to
- 20:07Speaker 2: tune in. What I'm just gonna kind of go on
- 20:11Speaker 2: a rant here. What we love about Letia is that
- 20:13Speaker 2: she has stayed. It seems like to me for the
- 20:16Speaker 2: most part, above the fray of the season that she
- 20:18Speaker 2: was on, So like that the drama hasn't really hit her.
- 20:22Speaker 2: She kind of got away unscathed because she didn't end
- 20:24Speaker 2: up with Grant, and so she doesn't have to really
- 20:26Speaker 2: respond to any of that other than just saying, you know,
- 20:30Speaker 2: I'm glad. Is this going to bring her into a
- 20:35Speaker 2: light of speaking about these subjects and topics and make
- 20:38Speaker 2: us go, you know, or or at least maybe bring
- 20:42Speaker 2: in that some of that drama. She also was friends
- 20:44Speaker 2: with the Mormon Wives, and I, from my understanding, is
- 20:49Speaker 2: the co host that she's doing this with it's controversial
- 20:55Speaker 2: because of his relationship with some of the Mormon Wives.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I feel like it's gonna there are launching it in
- 21:00Speaker 3: January because yeah, it says Latia and Chase talk about
- 21:05Speaker 3: how they met, Chase's bad first impression and the origin
- 21:10Speaker 3: of Lonely Friends. They're talking just kind of about pop culture,
- 21:16Speaker 3: talking about Taylor Swift, talking about Jake Paul, Tom Brady
- 21:21Speaker 3: and Alex Earle and the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 21:25Speaker 3: So all right, it seems like they're trying to capitalize
- 21:28Speaker 3: on this moment in which Mormon Housewives just release the season.
- 21:31Speaker 3: They'll be releasing another season in March. She's part of
- 21:34Speaker 3: that community, but she's non inside source, so she technically
- 21:37Speaker 3: can talk about it with a little insider information, but
- 21:41Speaker 3: also as so as like an educated fan sort of
- 21:43Speaker 3: how we do this show. And then she is having
- 21:49Speaker 3: a husband from Mormon Wives on who knows Taylor personally,
- 21:54Speaker 3: and I just think it, KINI, it does make sense
- 21:58Speaker 3: business move. What's so interesting about this podcast duo is
- 22:04Speaker 3: that season three ended with Taylor going on a date
- 22:10Speaker 3: with this co host, Slash x Chase. What So they've
- 22:16Speaker 3: gone on a date before, so this guy is of
- 22:19Speaker 3: course they're capitalizing on this. That date didn't work out,
- 22:24Speaker 3: but he's somebody who can say he's been on a
- 22:26Speaker 3: date with Taylor for people.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I mean, that holds some weight right there. That's crazy,
- 22:31Speaker 2: that's all. I mean. People are gonna listen to this because,
- 22:35Speaker 2: like you said, they're capitalizing on something that's on people's minds. Right,
- 22:40Speaker 2: what happened with the date? And now he can speak
- 22:42Speaker 2: about it. He's not under contract, he can share whatever
- 22:45Speaker 2: he wants.
- 22:46Speaker 3: It's a good duo. I just wonder if it's gonna
- 22:48Speaker 3: mess with friendships, Like I don't know if Latia is
- 22:50Speaker 3: gonna be invited to hang out with these girls anytime soon.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, But I also wonder how much she
- 22:57Speaker 2: was actually hanging out with him in any ways. I
- 23:00Speaker 2: don't really know, right.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, yeah, maybe she's just friends with one of them.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yeah, we wish him the best.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll see, We'll see what happens from this.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Very interesting final headline about Taylor this week is this.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Taylor hints about filming another surprise. This is posted on Monday.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Taylor posted some shots to her Instagram story. It looks
- 23:22Speaker 2: like she's in makeup. It's interesting to me because Ashley
- 23:26Speaker 2: was in makeup Monday.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I did get to work with Taylor loosely on a
- 23:33Speaker 3: ad campaign. Is so cool. It was so much fun.
- 23:36Speaker 3: I did it with Becca and Caitlin and Taylor. Taylor
- 23:39Speaker 3: wasn't in our scenes per se, but we were there
- 23:42Speaker 3: and glam together and we got to chat for a bit.
- 23:44Speaker 3: And she's very sweet, so easy to talk to, very
- 23:48Speaker 3: much like just kind of like a easy girl to
- 23:51Speaker 3: hang out with, much like you've seen I feel like
- 23:53Speaker 3: on TV so far. And I didn't pull too hard
- 23:57Speaker 3: as far as for the tea on the seat, because
- 24:00Speaker 3: you know, I.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Want to be respectful.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I was trying to be respectful. Was the first time
- 24:04Speaker 3: I met the girl. But I did ask the standard
- 24:07Speaker 3: question that they are usually able to ask, we usually
- 24:11Speaker 3: able to answer press with, And I said, so are
- 24:15Speaker 3: you happy? And she said she's happy. And we did
- 24:21Speaker 3: a lot of comparing and contrasting about her Bachelor experience
- 24:25Speaker 3: versus her Secret Lives experience and then my experience on
- 24:28Speaker 3: Bachelor versus Housewives, because we're both on like a live
- 24:31Speaker 3: show and then we're both on Bachelor. And she just
- 24:36Speaker 3: made it seem like with the structure of the Bachelor
- 24:39Speaker 3: was kind of a shock to her system because you know,
- 24:41Speaker 3: like she has like so much of a schedule. And
- 24:43Speaker 3: then she said that with Secret Lives, like she really
- 24:45Speaker 3: does just kind of document her real life.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Am I wrong? And I think a lot of people
- 24:50Speaker 2: and you you're going to make an assumption here, because
- 24:52Speaker 2: like you said, you worked loosely with her. You get
- 24:54Speaker 2: to meet her, though I've always thought of Taylor Frankie
- 24:58Speaker 2: Paul and Caitlin Bristow is very similar. Are humans? Did
- 25:01Speaker 2: you pick up on that at all when you were
- 25:03Speaker 2: with her?
- 25:05Speaker 3: You know, I don't even know that I was. They did, like,
- 25:09Speaker 3: and they did a TikTok or and Instagram and it
- 25:10Speaker 3: was very funny, and that was just like, oh, wow,
- 25:12Speaker 3: you guys are so natural at this sort of dance
- 25:15Speaker 3: humor type of TikTok Instagram. So I saw similarity there,
- 25:19Speaker 3: but we weren't in the same room. I don't remember
- 25:21Speaker 3: being in the same room with Caitlin and Taylor for
- 25:24Speaker 3: that long to pick up on vibes like that. But
- 25:26Speaker 3: I understand what you're saying. They're just such open books
- 25:29Speaker 3: and they just like don't give up, right, yeah.
- 25:32Speaker 2: No, and like and they also you know, for as
- 25:36Speaker 2: I think, at least from most people's experiences, like, they
- 25:39Speaker 2: both are so fun to be around, Like Kaitlyn is. Yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 2: the rudin no, of the reasons we love Kaitlyn so
- 25:43Speaker 2: much is she is like this huge personality that's also
- 25:46Speaker 2: very approachable and enjoyable to be around. It's not like
- 25:49Speaker 2: she's like crazy loud all the time. She's just a
- 25:52Speaker 2: fun human who's always up to do something weird and
- 25:54Speaker 2: say something weird, and say something that's going to push
- 25:57Speaker 2: the limits and make you uncomfortable. She does it because
- 26:00Speaker 2: she's like, she can hang. She's fun.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks exactly, she can hang. That's how I felt
- 26:06Speaker 3: towards Taylor very much.
- 26:08Speaker 2: So as we wrap this up, what we know about
- 26:11Speaker 2: Taylor this week is that she's good at social media,
- 26:17Speaker 2: either leading us astray on a wild goose chase or
- 26:21Speaker 2: giving us hints to how her season ends. We also
- 26:23Speaker 2: know that Ashley got to meet Taylor and likes Taylor,
- 26:27Speaker 2: isn't excited and is excited for taylor season. Dakota gets
- 26:31Speaker 2: a haircut, and Lautilla gar.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Son their son.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Oh goodness, funny good Anyways, Hey, this has been franky Friday.
