- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice shoogar. Welcome to the naught Even Night Show. It's Monday.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shooter, and every Monday a friend
- 0:22Speaker 1: Garrett Vogel from Z one hundred joints us. Garrett, Are
- 0:26Speaker 1: you there? Hello, birthday boy? That's right. You know, normally
- 0:31Speaker 1: we don't make this podcast about you nor I. It's
- 0:34Speaker 1: about the celebrities and it's about the people listening. But
- 0:37Speaker 1: you know what, once in a while, you need to
- 0:38Speaker 1: stop down and recognize the fact that you just celebrated
- 0:42Speaker 1: another three hundred and sixty five days on this earth.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Rob Shooter, how is your birthday? Over the week? It
- 0:49Speaker 1: was really really lovely. As great as our professional lives are,
- 0:55Speaker 1: I haven't even better personal life. I have great friends,
- 0:58Speaker 1: have a great husband, I have a great family. So
- 1:00Speaker 1: we did some really fun things. We had a dinner
- 1:02Speaker 1: on a Thursday, a Friday, Saturday. You're you're one of
- 1:06Speaker 1: those that like extend no one make it a five.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It's an easy, easy, easy, all about and thank you Naughties.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I got lots and lots of really lovely messages from
- 1:17Speaker 1: all over the world. You forget. The podcast Scarret can
- 1:20Speaker 1: be listened to anywhere. It's quite. It's scary. It is
- 1:23Speaker 1: scary the reach that we have and the power that
- 1:26Speaker 1: that we do. You know, we we think we're just
- 1:28Speaker 1: do you and I just sitting in the zoom hopefully
- 1:30Speaker 1: one or two people listen, and then next thing you know,
- 1:33Speaker 1: you get an email from Australia. I love it. Oh
- 1:36Speaker 1: my goodness, my voices. And for your birthday, are you
- 1:41Speaker 1: a ice cream or you a cake or your cupcake
- 1:44Speaker 1: or you were just a straight ice cream stand? To Chinatown,
- 1:47Speaker 1: which is one of my favorite things to do in
- 1:49Speaker 1: New York City. So we have Chinese food. But for
- 1:51Speaker 1: me personally, Chinese food is not necessarily known for their
- 1:55Speaker 1: great desserts. So in New York, Little literally Fortune for
- 2:00Speaker 1: next good Fortune in New York Chinatown is right next
- 2:04Speaker 1: door to Little Italy. So we had Chinese food and
- 2:07Speaker 1: then we walked over to Little Elderly and we got
- 2:10Speaker 1: Canola's and rum barbars and so it was a really
- 2:13Speaker 1: lovely day. Once again, everybody, thank you so much. It
- 2:15Speaker 1: made me feel really really special. Thank you, thank you,
- 2:18Speaker 1: thank you. Hey, let's get on with the show, because
- 2:20Speaker 1: you know what time at his ganders. So Jamie Lynn
- 2:26Speaker 1: Spears is responding to a message really a slam from
- 2:30Speaker 1: her sister Brittany, So Jamie Lynn posted a very vague
- 2:34Speaker 1: message about peace hours after Brittney post a very harsh message,
- 2:39Speaker 1: ain't at Jamie Lynn also at their father. Jamie Lynn
- 2:43Speaker 1: wrote the following quote, May the peace of the Lord
- 2:47Speaker 1: be with you and your spirit. Well that came just
- 2:50Speaker 1: one day after Brittany put a very very lengthy, profanity
- 2:56Speaker 1: ridden post up on Instagram. Don't worry, We're not going
- 2:59Speaker 1: to the naughty words on this year, but you'll get
- 3:01Speaker 1: the gist. Brittany wrote the following quotes for those of
- 3:05Speaker 1: you who choose to criticize my dancing videos. Look, I'm
- 3:09Speaker 1: not going to be performing on any stages anytime soon.
- 3:13Speaker 1: With my dad handling what I wear, what I do,
- 3:16Speaker 1: what I say, even what I think, I've done that
- 3:19Speaker 1: for the past thirteen years. And then she went on
- 3:21Speaker 1: to point the finger directly and Jamie Lynn her sister,
- 3:24Speaker 1: saying quote, I don't like that my sister showed up
- 3:28Speaker 1: at an awards show and sang in capital letters my songs.
- 3:33Speaker 1: All this comes after Brittany put up a post. It
- 3:37Speaker 1: was more vague this one, but I think it was
- 3:40Speaker 1: directed towards Jamie Lynne calling people righteous for supporting her
- 3:45Speaker 1: now but basically ignoring her for the last thirteen years.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Why are you thinks going on that? Well, you know
- 3:53Speaker 1: what's interesting? So I saw another person speaking up. I
- 3:57Speaker 1: think it was like Lance Basses as going you know.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I think Brittany's dad changed numbers in her phone, so
- 4:04Speaker 1: she thought not None of her friends were like where
- 4:07Speaker 1: were you five years ago? Ten years ago? You know
- 4:09Speaker 1: what I mean? So as much as I think we're
- 4:11Speaker 1: pointing fingers and oh oh, she's talking about her sister,
- 4:15Speaker 1: and I think it's all those other people that you're
- 4:18Speaker 1: now going, you know what, where were you ten years ago?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Supporting Brittney Spears? You know, and they're coming out the
- 4:24Speaker 1: coming out the way it was Madonna, justin timber Leg
- 4:27Speaker 1: and members of the Backstreet Boys. Where were you all
- 4:31Speaker 1: for the last thirteen years? We knew, we knew there
- 4:35Speaker 1: was problems there. Anyone that says they didn't know, it's
- 4:37Speaker 1: not telling the whole truth here. We knew something was
- 4:40Speaker 1: going on, and it seems really really shady. But I've
- 4:43Speaker 1: got to say to do we have a right to
- 4:46Speaker 1: say something and tell Brittney's story. So ten years ago,
- 4:51Speaker 1: when Brittany wasn't speaking at it. In fact, it's relatively
- 4:55Speaker 1: recent that she's tackled this subject head on, So did
- 4:59Speaker 1: we have any right to say anything? Like she was
- 5:02Speaker 1: under a conservatorship? Clearly there were issues. Should we just
- 5:05Speaker 1: shut up? Like what do you think? You know what?
- 5:08Speaker 1: It is interesting though, because if her dad was as
- 5:13Speaker 1: manipulative and as sneaky as he's being made out to
- 5:16Speaker 1: right now, why didn't he throw his daughter Britney Spears
- 5:20Speaker 1: under the bus ten years ago? You know? He he
- 5:22Speaker 1: kind of remained quiet in that sense, you know, he
- 5:25Speaker 1: could easily sold stories to the media that you know,
- 5:28Speaker 1: told paparazzi where she was going to be, you know,
- 5:31Speaker 1: like kind of very cardashi and asked like, but he
- 5:34Speaker 1: didn't know, you know, and he still doesn't now. The
- 5:37Speaker 1: dad is not the leak of photographs of Brittany or
- 5:40Speaker 1: tips to the media. It's not coming from the dad.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It's much more complicated than you think. So at first
- 5:45Speaker 1: I was like, good grief, Brittany, You're so right where
- 5:48Speaker 1: where we are. But Brittany herself admitted that she didn't
- 5:51Speaker 1: tell the truth in the past. When she was asked
- 5:53Speaker 1: about how she was doing, she said great. After the
- 5:57Speaker 1: New York Times documentary came at which was relatively recent,
- 6:01Speaker 1: and I think the New York Times sort of started
- 6:03Speaker 1: all this up again and she lied, and Brittany admitted
- 6:06Speaker 1: that Brittany didn't tell the truth. She went on social
- 6:09Speaker 1: media and basically said, ignore that documentary. It's not true.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I'm really happy. So if Brittany is saying she is happy,
- 6:17Speaker 1: then how dare we go out there and say she isn't.
- 6:21Speaker 1: It's much more complicated, I think than at first sight.
- 6:24Speaker 1: But that's for people that don't really know. Her family
- 6:27Speaker 1: are different. The mom knew, Jamie Lynn knew where were
- 6:32Speaker 1: they for all those years? Which brings us to where
- 6:34Speaker 1: was Lance Bass's husband? Why is he talking out? Why?
- 6:39Speaker 1: Why is it some people do that. I try not to.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I don't want to jump on the bandwagon sometimes just
- 6:44Speaker 1: because it's never really about them, it's about you. He
- 6:48Speaker 1: wants attention and that's why he's doing it. You know what.
- 6:50Speaker 1: In fact, I'll go as far to say, if I
- 6:53Speaker 1: can't text you, Garrett, I'm not going to do it.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I'm not going to do it publicly. I would reach
- 6:58Speaker 1: out to you and email, how are you doing? My friend?
- 7:01Speaker 1: Do you need anything, right? Like, how weird is it
- 7:04Speaker 1: as a celebrity to not speak to someone that you
- 7:08Speaker 1: claim to know, but speak to them through the media,
- 7:10Speaker 1: and then you hope for a response back and the
- 7:12Speaker 1: only response you get back is how they respond to
- 7:15Speaker 1: the media to us. You do it and the fools
- 7:18Speaker 1: like me and you talk about it very very naughty. Okay,
- 7:21Speaker 1: let's bring us to a whole question of the day.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Jamie Lyndspears is responding after Brittany has slammed the family
- 7:28Speaker 1: she's named. Names are your team Jamie Lynn or team Brittany?
- 7:32Speaker 1: I think I know the answer, but you never know
- 7:34Speaker 1: on this show. Go vote on our Twitter page Naughty
- 7:38Speaker 1: Nice Rob facebook page is Naughty Gossip. You can leave
- 7:41Speaker 1: a comment there and be sure to shake Black tomorrow
- 7:45Speaker 1: to hear your results. Garrett Love, what are you working on?
- 7:49Speaker 1: All right? Well? You know what, I'm going to give
- 7:51Speaker 1: some some UK news that isn't Royal related. Rob Sho Okay,
- 7:55Speaker 1: you're ready for this. Adele back in the dating scene
- 7:59Speaker 1: and this time I'm like, I know you're a big
- 8:01Speaker 1: basketball fan, Rob Shooter, and you you're watching the NBA
- 8:04Speaker 1: Finals the Phoenix Suns Milwaukee Bucks. But if you were
- 8:07Speaker 1: watching the game the other day, you saw Adele sitting
- 8:09Speaker 1: at the game. At the game, she's sitting the national anthem.
- 8:14Speaker 1: No no, no, no, she she she was a spectator.
- 8:17Speaker 1: She was sitting with Lebron James, the star of the
- 8:19Speaker 1: Space Jams. Yes, exactly. But the interesting thing is allegedly
- 8:26Speaker 1: apparently she's dating NBA agent Lebron James's agent best friend,
- 8:32Speaker 1: Rich Paul, which is super interesting. Just many of things,
- 8:36Speaker 1: like many layers to this too. So this all came
- 8:39Speaker 1: out to from an ESPN podcast, the Low Podcast, Rich Ball.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Lebron James agent brings his girlfriend to the game, sitting
- 8:45Speaker 1: next to Lebron. His girlfriend by the way, that girlfriend, well,
- 8:53Speaker 1: and you know there's many layers. I know Lebron loves
- 8:55Speaker 1: a good like bottle of wine after after a game
- 8:58Speaker 1: or a night out. And so now I picture Lebron
- 9:01Speaker 1: sitting there sipping on some delicious wine with his friends
- 9:05Speaker 1: listening to some Adele live, you know, not not not
- 9:08Speaker 1: like your eye where we put on the MP three
- 9:10Speaker 1: or CD and like actually live in the backyard. So
- 9:15Speaker 1: but this is interesting, first time they're out together, and
- 9:18Speaker 1: you know, we talk about like how celebrities like to
- 9:20Speaker 1: steal stories a lot, you know, like steal the spotlight.
- 9:23Speaker 1: So Lebron James is known for playing basketball, and he's
- 9:25Speaker 1: always in the spotlight playing the game. This time he
- 9:28Speaker 1: shows up at the game, he still takes the spotlight
- 9:30Speaker 1: away from the game because his agents dating Adele isn't known. Though.
- 9:35Speaker 1: If you and me were going at Volun dinner and
- 9:37Speaker 1: I said, you know what, I'm gonna bring my new boyfriend,
- 9:40Speaker 1: Bruce Springsteen, You're gonna be like, Oh, we're gonna get
- 9:44Speaker 1: a bit of attention. Yeh. I need tickets to a show.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I can't get tickets. Well, I was doing that big
- 9:52Speaker 1: thing in Central Park that's sixty summer concerts. So if
- 9:56Speaker 1: I can't get tickets to sixty like that, get another
- 10:00Speaker 1: everybody here if we can't. Interesting. So here's the interesting
- 10:05Speaker 1: thing though, So Rich Paul Lebronze agent Adele's boyfriend. Uh,
- 10:09Speaker 1: they were in the background of pictures and uh Adele
- 10:12Speaker 1: Adele's actually hanging out with other people to a little
- 10:14Speaker 1: Wayne the Rapper, Like it is such a like my
- 10:17Speaker 1: mind is kind of like all clustered, like thinking about
- 10:20Speaker 1: the layers of this Lebron James Adele, Little Wayne sitting
- 10:24Speaker 1: in Phoenix, Phoenix, Arizona watching a basketball game. I mean,
- 10:29Speaker 1: my mind kind of justice, still trying to like understanding
- 10:32Speaker 1: sory overloading big timetels doing this because as a Britain myself,
- 10:39Speaker 1: I can tell you the NBA it's very foreign to
- 10:43Speaker 1: English people, to British people, we don't have anything like
- 10:47Speaker 1: this in Britain. So she's really embraced America, and which
- 10:51Speaker 1: means she's moving here. She has to be moving here
- 10:53Speaker 1: once you turn up. And I once went to a
- 10:56Speaker 1: let me get it right, they run around in a
- 10:58Speaker 1: circle basketball bass. I once spent to a basketball game
- 11:02Speaker 1: like Adele. I like, no baseball, Sorry, got confused. I
- 11:08Speaker 1: went to the Mets. What are they baseball? Yes, I
- 11:12Speaker 1: went to a Mets game. Oh, it was so long, Garret.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Baseball is you know, for for you to get into sports.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Baseball is one of the toughest sports to get into.
- 11:23Speaker 1: It's so slow, and it was like hours and hours
- 11:27Speaker 1: and and I thought it was going to be like
- 11:28Speaker 1: a play, like a musical or something, and it would
- 11:30Speaker 1: like have a time like you know, most musicals are
- 11:32Speaker 1: two hours. You happened into mission blah blah, what maybe
- 11:35Speaker 1: like five hours? And and the thing is they cut
- 11:39Speaker 1: you off with like an hour and a half left.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Smartly they cut you off from alcohol, but you still
- 11:44Speaker 1: have an hour and a half, so you have to
- 11:46Speaker 1: sit on that last drink. Very funny. I was gone
- 11:48Speaker 1: long before the Barlow, was long before the good for
- 11:52Speaker 1: you long. Jennifer Lopez is house hunting with Ben Affleck
- 11:58Speaker 1: in l a How and she's a kicker here, so
- 12:03Speaker 1: we reported first on this show. May I say that
- 12:07Speaker 1: Jennifer was looking for a new home, but it was
- 12:10Speaker 1: not to be with Ben. They were not buying it together.
- 12:13Speaker 1: This is this is her money. She's not moving into
- 12:16Speaker 1: his place. She doesn't like his shampoo. I bet he
- 12:19Speaker 1: uses the conditioner and the toothpast for jo Jaylo has
- 12:24Speaker 1: Jaylo towels. Yeah, you know, it's funny. Though. I could
- 12:26Speaker 1: see them buying houses next to each other. So it's like,
- 12:29Speaker 1: I'm going to my see that. But I don't think
- 12:31Speaker 1: he can afford to live next door to Jayla because
- 12:34Speaker 1: she's looking for a sixty four million dollar house to
- 12:39Speaker 1: look at. I had to read that I didn't have
- 12:41Speaker 1: a house could be worth that much. She's looking at
- 12:43Speaker 1: sixty three sixty four million dollar houses. Now Ben has
- 12:47Speaker 1: a lovely house in l A. I checked it out
- 12:49Speaker 1: and it's probably about fifteen million. I'm being generous, but
- 12:52Speaker 1: there's a huge difference between fifty It's like an RV
- 12:55Speaker 1: compared it was the very modest home. Now, so she
- 12:59Speaker 1: has been looking for a few days. She gets serious
- 13:01Speaker 1: when you go on the second day and she brought
- 13:03Speaker 1: the kids with her. Two Do you think the kids
- 13:05Speaker 1: are running around this sixty four million dollar house picking
- 13:08Speaker 1: out their bedrooms? You know, thinking about it though, like
- 13:10Speaker 1: just to look at the house, like look at a
- 13:12Speaker 1: normal house, like with you know, a two bedroom, one
- 13:14Speaker 1: bad or whatever. It takes like twenty minutes. You know,
- 13:16Speaker 1: what does it? What does that mansion like this? Like
- 13:19Speaker 1: like we're doing it for hours, hours to do a
- 13:21Speaker 1: tour of it. Imagine turning on the lights like the
- 13:23Speaker 1: real estate person like take forever, like like the candles
- 13:28Speaker 1: you have to turn on the pool on a scooter.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I said, can we have a sit down? And I'm exhausted.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Now do you think because Ben's going with her to
- 13:34Speaker 1: look but it's not his house, it's her house. Do
- 13:36Speaker 1: you think he's got an eye on these houses? Thinking, well,
- 13:38Speaker 1: I like this one because I'm eventually going to live here?
- 13:41Speaker 1: Is that what his room? Will I stay? And when
- 13:43Speaker 1: she's not happy with my man cave? Like do I
- 13:46Speaker 1: like the wom Like what sort of advice do you
- 13:48Speaker 1: think he's given her advice? Like, well, Jen, when we
- 13:50Speaker 1: live together, we could change this room into a library,
- 13:53Speaker 1: or this could be your dance studio. Or do you
- 13:55Speaker 1: think he just shuts up because it's her money, it's
- 13:57Speaker 1: her house. Oh, he has to just be like you
- 14:00Speaker 1: know what baby wants, baby gets, Baby wants a sixty
- 14:02Speaker 1: three million dollar mansion. Baby gets a sixty three million
- 14:05Speaker 1: dollars feel bad when he goes back to his ten
- 14:08Speaker 1: million dollar mansions? I think you do in general, like
- 14:11Speaker 1: when like we we all have those friends that are
- 14:13Speaker 1: much richer than we all are, Like no matter, no
- 14:16Speaker 1: matter who's listening right now, you know what I'm talking about.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You go to their house and then you're like, oh
- 14:20Speaker 1: my god, oh how and then you come back home? Right,
- 14:23Speaker 1: I think it's time to move. I think it's time
- 14:26Speaker 1: to move. I can't live like that. What's the most fabulous?
- 14:29Speaker 1: How ship bid? And is it a friend? Is it
- 14:31Speaker 1: a celebrity? My friend? My my friend? He has such
- 14:34Speaker 1: a story. He left his Wall Street job to go
- 14:38Speaker 1: take over his wife's family onion farm right where by
- 14:42Speaker 1: the way, Rob Shooter Onions should get into, Like, oh,
- 14:45Speaker 1: we need to get into onions. He he bought this
- 14:48Speaker 1: this this gorgeous house, which he decided like, I'm not
- 14:52Speaker 1: going to spend the money on on people to build it.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I'm just gonna go on YouTube. He started building it
- 14:57Speaker 1: from scratch from YouTube. The thing is Rob Shooter. If
- 15:01Speaker 1: I showed his house like j It's it's like almost
- 15:06Speaker 1: half apartment I've ever been in is Stinging Trudy Stylers.
- 15:13Speaker 1: So I used to work for Trudy, So I often
- 15:15Speaker 1: go up to her apartment on Central Park West, and
- 15:18Speaker 1: it's a duplex. It's two floors. They bought two apartments
- 15:21Speaker 1: on top of each other. They knocked through and put
- 15:23Speaker 1: a spiral staircase in. So you wore that's that's not
- 15:27Speaker 1: and there's few of the part it's the sixty million
- 15:29Speaker 1: dollar apartment. It's like a j Low house. I came
- 15:32Speaker 1: back and I live in a really nice apartment. I
- 15:34Speaker 1: came back here and I've felt like, oh I live her?
- 15:39Speaker 1: Is it weird? Going to Stings house knowing he's probably
- 15:42Speaker 1: has done it. Everywhere. That's more's more like thinking about
- 15:48Speaker 1: him singing, because I was sitting in the living room
- 15:50Speaker 1: and it's a piano and like a loot a guitar,
- 15:53Speaker 1: and I was like, Stings played that guitar. Stings played that.
- 15:56Speaker 1: He's probably played it naked while having You know, let's
- 16:00Speaker 1: quickly move along. What's going on with Matt Dame And
- 16:03Speaker 1: he's one of my favorite celebrities. I just love it,
- 16:05Speaker 1: you know. You know the thing I cherish about Matt
- 16:08Speaker 1: Damon and respect is the fact that many years ago
- 16:10Speaker 1: he realized, I need to get myself out of Hollywood
- 16:14Speaker 1: and get away from it all. And uh, if films
- 16:17Speaker 1: want me, they'll come to me. So he he literally
- 16:20Speaker 1: has been living in Miami pretty much his entire life,
- 16:23Speaker 1: with the exception of traveling around for movies with his family.
- 16:25Speaker 1: But here's the thing. So his daughter, he was doing
- 16:28Speaker 1: giving an interview, and he said his daughter doesn't care
- 16:30Speaker 1: or about his films, pretty much doesn't give s about
- 16:34Speaker 1: his films. So so this is what he said. Uh,
- 16:37Speaker 1: he said, his fifteen year old daughter, Isabel, refuses to
- 16:39Speaker 1: see her dad's film Goodwill Hunting with with with Ben Affleck,
- 16:44Speaker 1: speaking of which, so she goes, she doesn't get she
- 16:47Speaker 1: doesn't want to see any of my movies that I
- 16:49Speaker 1: might uh that might be good. She just likes to
- 16:52Speaker 1: give me s uh you know. And he was laughing
- 16:55Speaker 1: about it, and he goes, uh, he goes. He goes.
- 16:57Speaker 1: My daughter said, hey, remember that movie you did the
- 17:00Speaker 1: all I said, it was called The Great Wall. She goes, yeah, Dad,
- 17:03Speaker 1: there was nothing great about that movie. So so she
- 17:06Speaker 1: pretty much keeps. Dad liked that one person grounded. But
- 17:11Speaker 1: the Matt said that the whole family had to sit down,
- 17:13Speaker 1: which I would love to see like a celebrity family
- 17:17Speaker 1: meeting about like life career moves. Because this family meeting
- 17:21Speaker 1: is the reason why he took the role of still Water,
- 17:24Speaker 1: which apparently he's supposed to be an Oscar got incredible
- 17:27Speaker 1: Oscar nominated, but it's all thanks to his family going,
- 17:30Speaker 1: you know what, Dad, this is the movie we need
