Latest / The Slippery Slope / Are We a Nation Under Gods Judgement?

- 0:14low. OK, I want to talk about where
- 0:15our nation is at the moment. I think, and I know I've spoken
- 0:19about this several times before and I've specifically spoken
- 0:22about the verse that I want to bring up here.
- 0:24I want to talk about Romans one and relate that to where we are
- 0:28within Australia, but I'm really concerned about the spiritual
- 0:36health of our nation. I think we're in extremely,
- 0:40extremely bad, bad place. I think our nation as a whole,
- 0:46if you just want to generalize, has very much walked away from
- 0:50God, walked away from acknowledging God.
- 0:54We've embraced the carnal. We've embraced paganism is
- 0:59really paganism has made a quite a comeback within the nation and
- 1:04especially women, females in this nation seem to have really
- 1:09embraced paganism. We see a lot of Pagan festivals
- 1:14coming up, you know, people going out and having goddess
- 1:18festivals and this kind of thing.
- 1:21And so paganism denial of God worshipping be created people
- 1:27worshipping mother earth or Gaia Gaia have you want to say it
- 1:32which is which is just Pagan Pagan worship.
- 1:37But this is seems to be where our nation's at and I read
- 1:41what's I've been looking at what's happening within news
- 1:45headlines and it would appear that we have we are sitting in a
- 1:51time where our leaders are unable to make wise decisions,
- 1:56just the decisions that you see our leadership making.
- 2:00I'm talking federal and state, they do not make sense.
- 2:04And a lot of just your everyday Aussie will be sitting there
- 2:06going what is happening? Why are you doing this?
- 2:09This doesn't make no sense. It it seems like our leaders are
- 2:14purposely trying to destroy the country and I don't think they
- 2:20are purposely trying to do it. I just think it's related back
- 2:23to Romans because they have a debased mind.
- 2:27I read read it just to refresh your memory from what I'm
- 2:30talking about. I read from verse 21.
- 2:31It says because although they knew God, they did not glorify
- 2:35him as God, nor we're thankful, but became futile, futile in
- 2:40their thoughts and their foolish hearts were darkened professing
- 2:44to be wise. They became fools and changed
- 2:47the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like
- 2:50corruptible man and birds and four footed animals and creeping
- 2:53things, the worshipping everything that's created rather
- 2:56than worshipping the Creator God Almighty.
- 3:00Therefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness in the lusts of
- 3:04their hearts to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who
- 3:08exchanged the truth of God for the lie and worshipped and
- 3:11served the creature rather than the Creator who was blessed
- 3:13forever. For this reason God gave them up
- 3:15to vile passions, but even their women exchanged the natural use
- 3:20for what is against nature. So lesbianism likewise also the
- 3:26men leaving the natural use of the women, burning in their lust
- 3:30for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and
- 3:32receiving in themselves the penalty of the error which was
- 3:36due. And even as they did not like to
- 3:38retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased
- 3:44mind to do those things which are not fitting, being filled
- 3:47with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness,
- 3:51covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife,
- 3:55deceit, evil mindedness. They are whisperers, backbiters,
- 3:59haters of God, violent, proud boasters, inventors of evil
- 4:04things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy,
- 4:08unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful, who, knowing the
- 4:11righteous judgment of God that those who practice such things
- 4:14are deserving of death, not only do the same, but also approve of
- 4:18those who practice them. When I read it says in verse 28,
- 4:22God gave them over to a debased mind.
- 4:24I was talking to someone else about this and they said, you
- 4:26know, it's almost like it's saying God just like said, just
- 4:29threw his hands up and said, you know what, go for it if this is
- 4:33what you want. I'm just like letting you go.
- 4:35When you look up the the meaning of debased or in the new in the
- 4:39old King James, it says reprobate mind.
- 4:42A reprobate means well for as a noun, it's an unprincipled
- 4:47person. It it also says if you're a
- 4:50reprobate to be a reprobate mind, it's morally unprincipled,
- 4:57depraved, condemned. That's as an adjective, as a
- 5:02noun, it means a person of bad character and habits or a
- 5:05disreputable roguish person. And when you look up the meaning
- 5:10for debased, like the new King James using the word translated
- 5:13as as debased, debased mind, the meaning for debased a verb which
- 5:19means to reduce in quality or value.
- 5:24So as a verb, yeah, to lower in character or quality.
- 5:28I was thinking about, you know, in relation to Romans one, God
- 5:31gave him over to a debased mind. So debased mind would seem to be
- 5:35a mind that's of lesser quality, literally is unable to think
- 5:42properly, unable to make a wise decision.
- 5:45They've just got a mind that's of lesser quality.
- 5:48So to talk about all this to, I want to go through a few
- 5:54different articles and from what I see of different leaders,
- 5:58people in leadership roles, I suppose, or, or even if they're
- 6:01not what I would consider actually leaders, but people who
- 6:04are in roles in areas within Australia who have influence
- 6:08anyway. And I had noticed, you know,
- 6:12there's a lot of talk this last couple of weeks about the
- 6:15Australian female soccer team, the Matildas, soccer, football.
- 6:20Have you want to talk? Have you want to have you want
- 6:22to say it? This article had come up and
- 6:25it's talking about the Matildas. I thought I'll have a read of
- 6:27this. It's talking about the Matildas
- 6:28and going through the people and their personal lives and talks.
- 6:32So I'm reading this article and it's talking about Matildas and
- 6:35who their partners were thought wow, that's 777 of them within
- 6:41the one team that a lesbian. I thought, well, that's it seems
- 6:46like a very high ratio, all these women and I'll, I'll just
- 6:52say it says quite a few of them look very kind of, you know,
- 6:58very tomboyish, let's put it that way.
- 7:00I thought, well, OK, that's, that's very strange.
- 7:02It's it's strange that you've got such a, you know, in, in one
- 7:05team, you've got what is that 7, at least seven of them have the
- 7:09one team that are actually in a homosexual relationship.
- 7:13Very high percentage there. I think it isn't isn't strange
- 7:16that all these women and I'd been thinking about Romans one
- 7:19then, you know, women giving themselves over and I thought,
- 7:22well, OK, so such a high level of anyway, so I've been reading
- 7:26all these other articles. They also come up about
- 7:29Australia and what's happening. And I'll dive over to another
- 7:32one that talks about some decisions that the Australian
- 7:36government have been making. And I thought, well, this is,
- 7:41it's just weird. Some of the things that the
- 7:44Australian government has been doing and the decisions that
- 7:46they're making. We'll have a look at this.
- 7:49This headline here says yogi's to be rushed into Australia
- 7:52ahead of tradies under draft policy.
- 7:58The federal opposition and housing industry bodies have hit
- 8:01out at a draft policy that would see migrant yoga and martial
- 8:05arts instructors rushed into Australia ahead of some skilled
- 8:11construction workers. It's so jobs and skills
- 8:15Australia has released its draft core skills occupations list,
- 8:19essentially the types of workers that could be prioritized for
- 8:22temporary skilled visas. I'll, I'll go to another article
- 8:26so you can see, because there's not, just, not just that one
- 8:30article, this next one here talking about where is it?
- 8:37The Master Builders Association, They've said that the, the
- 8:41decision to boot, the decision to boot tradies from migrant
- 8:46skills list does not make any sense.
- 8:50So they're talking about the same thing.
- 8:51It said the masses. Builders Australia CEO Danita
- 8:55Wan says she is perplexed and bemused by the Labour
- 8:58government's decision to leave off tradies from the draft
- 9:02priority skills list for migrants.
- 9:04Like I said it, it, it's it's perplexing you.
- 9:10You said they're going. Why would you do that?
- 9:12We, we need skilled migrants. We need more tradespersons
- 9:18coming over, tradespeople coming over to coming here.
- 9:22We have a trades shortage and yet they seem to have left
- 9:27tradesmen off the new immigration list for the people
- 9:31they want. I thought, isn't it?
- 9:33Isn't it, isn't it strange how our government doesn't seem to
- 9:37be able to make decisions that really make well, they don't
- 9:42seem to be able to make wise decisions at the moment.
- 9:44And even someone like this, the master builder's CEO Danita Wan
- 9:48just says it's perplexing. Why?
- 9:50Why are they doing that? This is not what we need.
- 9:52We don't need, we don't need yogis.
- 9:56We don't need martial arts instructors.
- 9:58We need tradesmen. And yet I don't know.
- 10:04So it seems like we've got a a nation where our leaders unable
- 10:09to make sensible, sensible decisions about who they're
- 10:12going to allow into the country. I did the story the other the
- 10:14other week about or just the other day about, about the
- 10:19Sudanese man who really should be kicked out of the country.
- 10:21He's just a thug and a criminal committing, you know, domestic
- 10:27violence, violence against other people, knife crimes, very
- 10:31violent person. Now he's put his hand up and
- 10:34claims that he identifies as Australian Indigenous and they
- 10:38are they haven't deported him. They're allowing him to stay so
- 10:43far in the country because he's identifying as an Indigenous
- 10:46Australian. Like I said, it seems like a, a,
- 10:48a nation that cannot make a wise decision.
- 10:52We just we're unable to, our leadership is unable to our, our
- 10:55our judicial system is unable to our government ministers are
- 10:59unable to make the smart decisions.
- 11:02We can't even decide probably who can come into the country,
- 11:05let alone who can stay, even though they thugs and criminals.
- 11:09Now, the the last thing I wanted to show you, and this is about
- 11:14our EE Commission. You know, the the lovely E
- 11:18Commission that was trying to trying to silence the people on
- 11:22X people from Canada who'd made posts about how dangerous some
- 11:27people within the trans community, transgender community
- 11:31are. And they are the wisdom.
- 11:36This is this just shows I think people who consider themselves
- 11:39to be wise, but who are definitely not wise.
- 11:47Mr. Ben Grant, the E Safety website lists refusing to use a
- 11:53trans person's preferred pronouns online or posting a
- 11:56video that dead names them as an example of gendered hate, and
- 12:02that deliberately misgendering someone online is a form of
- 12:05gendered violence. How do you justify these
- 12:08statements in a country where a male rapist and child sex
- 12:12offender can be placed in a women's prison and access
- 12:15women's facilities? I fail to see the connection to
- 12:20that specific incident, Senator. That's kind of drawing a loan
- 12:25bow, I would say. But I'm I, I'm gonna turn over
- 12:28to Mr. Dagg who has responsibility for the education
- 12:34prevention information on our. Thank you, Commissioner.
- 12:38The sources that you're referring to, Senator, have been
- 12:41informed in significant part by our consultation with the L GB
- 12:46TIQ community, who've told us about the impact of misgendering
- 12:52and dead naming on trans members of that community.
- 12:56The resources reflect that kind of advice.
- 12:59Did you consult with any women's rights groups to understand how
- 13:02it might impact upon them to be for to be in a position where
- 13:08they can't call out male sex offenders being placed in
- 13:13women's prison and access women's facilities in an online
- 13:15space because the air safety commissioner has a position that
- 13:19that is gendered violence? Well, like the commissioner,
- 13:22said Sandler, Senator, that's drawing an extremely Longbow.
- 13:26The resources that we've created don't go to any judicial
- 13:28decisions. Now it's, I don't know whether
- 13:33they're doing this on purpose where they're wilfully ignorant
- 13:37of what's going on in the rest of the world.
- 13:40This kind of thing actually does happen in the real world.
- 13:44They are So like I said, these are some people.
- 13:48This is the commissioner here, this lady here.
- 13:52They are people who profess to be wise.
- 13:56I like the word of God says they are futile in their own
- 13:59thinking. And this is what I mean when I'm
- 14:01talking about it seems like God's just given people over to
- 14:05a debased mind, a mind of less equality.
- 14:08They cannot even see the truth. They cannot see the facts.
- 14:13People are asking them straightforward facts, and for
- 14:18the life of them, they've got no idea.
- 14:20They've just, they do not know. Is it willful ignorance?
- 14:26He's made to place a particular person within a particular
- 14:29Correctional Facility. That's a matter for the
- 14:31judiciary. If you're interested in
- 14:34understanding the nature of consultation and process that we
- 14:37went through to develop those resources, I'm very happy to
- 14:40take that on notice and return to you.
- 14:41I was about to say I might put some questions on notice around
- 14:44that because I would certainly be interested to know.
- 14:47I'm guessing, given that you've referenced it's seemingly a long
- 14:51voter draw, that you aren't aware of the case that I've
- 14:54referred to. I've spoken about this in the
- 14:57Senate before, where a man who was previously convicted of
- 15:00raping his own 6 year old daughter committed a serious
- 15:03sexual assault on a woman in Australia and was referred to as
- 15:07a woman by the media and the court before being placed in a
- 15:10women's prison. What does this have to do with
- 15:13online safety, Senator? Well, I think the question is,
- 15:18is it your position that referring?
- 15:20Is it the a safety commission's position that refer referring to
- 15:23a male rapist or as a man or as a male in an online forum?
- 15:28Posting about it on Facebook is misgendering and therefore a
- 15:32form of violence. I think I will take that on
- 15:36notice, but I, I am not required to provide a personal opinion,
- 15:41nor would I in a case like this, nor would I make an on the spot
- 15:45judgement about a particular live investigation without the
- 15:50proper investigations being done.
- 15:54So I'm, I'm, I'm not going to be drawn on that.
- 15:56Senator, thank you. Miss Immigrant, am I or any
- 15:59other Australian at risk of the E Safety Commission taking
- 16:03action to have social media posts removed if I or any other
- 16:08Australian refer to my male sex offender as a man?
- 16:14We are not. There are specific provisions in
- 16:18the Online Safety Act that go against political commentary and
- 16:21that's what I believe you're talking about.
- 16:23What we are looking at. And in the case that was raised
- 16:26earlier, which is now before the AAT, our assessment of the
- 16:31content, it only goes to serious harm and whether the the post or
- 16:36posts were intended to menace, harass and cause offence to the
- 16:40Australian individual by an ordinary reasonable person in
- 16:45all the circumstances. So a very high threshold.
- 16:48I would I would also note that we of the all the valid
- 16:52Australian sorry ACA complaints, which is adult cyber abuse
- 16:57complaints that we receive only 6% resort in formal notices.
- 17:04So you, you know that when those thresholds have been met, that
- 17:09they're very serious attempts to not just merely cause emotional
- 17:14and psychological harm to an Australian person.
- 17:18But you know, again, you're, you're wanting to engage me on a
- 17:25political debate and personal. No, I'm not, I'm not going to
- 17:31censor any political commentary about trans or anti trans
- 17:36material. That is not my role.
- 17:41But. She said that's not her role,
- 17:44but that seems to be exactly the position that she's taken so far
- 17:50when it came to the gentleman from Canada who pointed out
- 17:55issues with a transgender person there and them being, well,
- 18:01interacting with children. And yet she's taken exactly that
- 18:06kind of position. So anyway, we'll hear what else
- 18:09they've got to say. Your website clearly states that
- 18:13misgendering someone online is gendered violence.
- 18:17So you're saying there is a risk?
- 18:19Well, if you look. At most of the social media
- 18:22platforms, they all have within their hate speech policies,
- 18:27content around gendering and misgendering and dead naming.
- 18:32And if you look at data from if we're gonna talk about the
- 18:35online context from the Trans Project, 9 out of 10 trans
- 18:40Australians has experienced serious online hate or violence
- 18:44online. So I think the proportion of
- 18:48harm that that particular community experiences is off the
- 18:53charts vis a vis others. And back to the context that
- 18:57Mister Dag noted, we have to consider that in terms of
- 19:01looking at vulnerability of specific communities.
- 19:03MMM. Sure, and I'm a woman who's
- 19:05spoken out about these issues on in the online space before, and
- 19:09I've copped my fair share of abuse too.
- 19:11But I'm not. I'm very sorry to hear that.
- 19:13I'm not sure I necessarily have the same protections in place.
- 19:16Yeah. Absolutely, Senator, you do.
- 19:20If if you reported to the platform and there was serious
- 19:23cyber abuse and they didn't take action, we would and you
- 19:26reported to us, we would absolutely look at that with the
- 19:29same lens and would like to help you if you were experiencing
- 19:33serious harm as a result of that abuse.
- 19:36The test in legislation is that a a reasonable person would have
- 19:40to conclude that it is likely that material was intended to
- 19:44have an effect of causing serious harm to a particular
- 19:48Australian adult. Is that correct?
- 19:51Yeah, yes, that's, that's correct, Senator.
- 19:52That's the first limit of the test.
- 19:53Do you think that a reasonable Australian would agree that
- 19:56women are entitled to refer to people who are male and seek
- 20:00access to female facilities as male?
- 20:04We're going back to the example that you were signing before,
- 20:07Senator, the fact of which I'm I'm not familiar with.
- 20:12The test is one about establishing whether or not the
- 20:15material is intended to cause serious harm.
- 20:18I don't think anything can be read into that test that would
- 20:21suggest engaging in a debate about a person's presentation
- 20:27would necessarily meet that bar. But again.
- 20:34Just be aware when they start talking about the these are the
- 20:38people that want to decide whether anything you say has
- 20:41caused someone else serious harm.
- 20:45So it's up to them to decide what they, you know, this is
- 20:48what they consider causing serious harm.
- 20:51Like the example that the senator brought up, a gentleman
- 20:54who's raped his own daughter, his own daughter, then gone into
- 20:58prison, attacked other people. They don't seem nearly as
- 21:03concerned about about victims, female victims, physical
- 21:09physical violence. They don't seem nearly as
- 21:12concerned about those victims as as as as much as someone who
- 21:18might have their someone who is already, may I say, suffering
- 21:22from a mental health illness. They don't seem nearly as
- 21:25concerned about about the actual victims of physical violence as
- 21:31they are of these people. It's very concerning.
- 21:34Like I said, these are people who confess to be wise, but in
- 21:41reality they're foolish. God gives them over to a debased
- 21:46mind. They profess to be wise.
- 21:48They have become fools. And and This is why I was
- 21:52looking at all of these different things online the last
- 21:56the last week or so and just thinking, where is our nation at
- 21:59the moment? We've got we, we have.
- 22:03And it's not just the the Matilda football team, it's in
- 22:07women's sport in general. It seems to be filled with
- 22:12lesbians, like lesbians everywhere.
- 22:16I thought I'd heard when the World Cup was on and the, the
- 22:20female, the Ladies World Cup was playing, I heard blokes at work
- 22:25joking about it, joking about all the, the, the lesbians and
- 22:31I, I hadn't taken any notice. I wasn't watching the football
- 22:34and I thought they were all joking and apparently they they
- 22:37weren't the the the team was full of lesbians and this it
- 22:41seems to be rife within female sport.
- 22:46We have a nation which seems to have embraced, you know, this is
- 22:49pride month at the moment, embraced homosexuality.
- 22:54We, we're embracing our leaders anyway of, you know, our
- 23:00bureaucrats, embracing the transgender community, embracing
- 23:04this ideology that really is built on a lie.
- 23:09It's built on a lie. You cannot change your gender,
- 23:15your sex. And we, we've got a nation where
- 23:19our leaders cannot make decisions that well, they cannot
- 23:23seem to make a wise decision. They seem to make decisions that
- 23:26just do not make any sense whatsoever.
- 23:29We have an E Safety Commission commissioner who's decided that
- 23:33it's her job to go after people who would be speaking out for
- 23:38themselves or or speaking out against violent criminals
- 23:43because the words that they say might hurt the other person's
- 23:47feelings, even though it's a a male who was violent against
- 23:51other females. And then we've got a government,
- 23:57like I said, who, who would rather, even though we need, we
- 24:00need people with with legitimate trade skills that would rather
- 24:04bring in people who are yogis and martial arts instructors.
- 24:09Australia, I think, and I really would like to know what what you
- 24:15think about this from a biblical or theological perspective.
- 24:20Australia has been given over. I think we are sitting smack
- 24:24bang with in the middle of what it's saying in Romans one God
- 24:28has given us up given this nation of Australia up to
- 24:32uncleanness in the lusts of our our own hearts because we have
- 24:35exchanged the truth of God and worshipped the creature and
- 24:40God's given us up this whole nation to vile passions.
- 24:44For even our women have exchanged the natural use what's
- 24:48against, for what is against nature.
- 24:50And men have burnt men, with men continuing committing what is
- 24:55shameful. And even as we have not liked to
- 24:58retain God in our knowledge, God has given us over to a debased
- 25:03mind, a mind of less equality, a mind where our leadership cannot
- 25:10make sensible, quality decisions.
- 25:16I think we're in a bad place. I think spiritually we're in a
- 25:19bad place. I think we we have a nation that
- 25:22embraces paganism, embraces idolatry, embraces embraces
- 25:30lustful desires, tells everyone, no, no, you can live your best
- 25:35life. You can live for the desires in
- 25:37your heart. Whatever you want, whatever lust
- 25:39you have, chase after that because if that makes you happy,
