- 0:38Speaker 8: I'm gonna do it begin.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I'm gonna go on the way you vegan.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, I you're listening to the Sports Shock Show.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you
- 0:52Speaker 1: out there listening laying on this live edition of the
- 0:54Speaker 1: Sports Shock Show. Uh, we missed you just as much
- 0:58Speaker 1: as uh you probably missed us as well. But we're
- 1:02Speaker 1: back command you. Greg is back in the state. He
- 1:06Speaker 1: kind of lost it, you know, trying to avoid child
- 1:08Speaker 1: support and thought, you know, that's the old way back
- 1:12Speaker 1: in the seventies and eighties, you know, your uncle's dad.
- 1:14Speaker 1: They go to the next state for a couple of
- 1:16Speaker 1: months and try to wait it out like somebody gonna forget.
- 1:21Speaker 1: But they changed that, so now you know, they told
- 1:24Speaker 1: Greg Man you might as well come on back, because
- 1:26Speaker 1: we got you on record. It's never gonna go away.
- 1:30Speaker 1: You're gonna always have to pay us. We're gonna garnish
- 1:32Speaker 1: that check every time you file that you've got money.
- 1:36Speaker 1: So he's back now, we got him back in the
- 1:40Speaker 1: lab and it got a mic for him to grab too,
- 1:44Speaker 1: So comand you. Good morning to you, sir, Good morning
- 1:47Speaker 1: Big Kenny the funny Man himself is in the building,
- 1:50Speaker 1: and our resident comedian, the Bad Producer, is here as well.
- 1:58Speaker 1: But we have missed you as so much going on
- 2:01Speaker 1: since we left. Some of y'all have decided to fire coaches,
- 2:06Speaker 1: and some of the coaches are upset that they got fired,
- 2:09Speaker 1: and some of them are truly understanding why they got
- 2:14Speaker 1: called to the office. You know, you know, you know
- 2:18Speaker 1: the situation, you know what they told you before the season.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I've always you know, as the sports jock says, I'm
- 2:25Speaker 1: really just one of those people. Unless the person that
- 2:28Speaker 1: you are firing, there's the guy that you may want
- 2:33Speaker 1: to hire on the sideline if you're going out for
- 2:37Speaker 1: an outside coach. To me, I'm gonna go ahead on
- 2:40Speaker 1: and get my money's worth. You're just gonna work until
- 2:43Speaker 1: this season's over. You got five more weeks of work.
- 2:47Speaker 1: But if I think the guy, the offensive coordinator, the
- 2:50Speaker 1: defensive coordinator, if somebody's already here and I really want
- 2:53Speaker 1: to give them a look, then sure. But to find
- 2:57Speaker 1: out at the end of the season that you were
- 2:58Speaker 1: going out and getting a completely different guy, then what
- 3:03Speaker 1: was the purpose of the firing really? What were you
- 3:07Speaker 1: setting the table for. You're just gonna let somebody else
- 3:11Speaker 1: coach for a month that you were never going to
- 3:14Speaker 1: keep around. Can any you understand, know? But if the guy,
- 3:18Speaker 1: the young player or the young coach, whoever he is,
- 3:21Speaker 1: is already on the staff and you want to give
- 3:23Speaker 1: him that experience so you can see how he would
- 3:26Speaker 1: manage and do it. But you know, to just pay
- 3:29Speaker 1: people to walk out the building. Now, James Franklin is
- 3:32Speaker 1: from Penn State. Would have had to work this one.
- 3:36Speaker 1: You know, even if I went in there and told you, hey, man,
- 3:39Speaker 1: we're gonna gonna let you go at the end of
- 3:42Speaker 1: the season, James, but you're gonna have to sleep on
- 3:44Speaker 1: the couch. But it's over. It's over. But I can't
- 3:50Speaker 1: afford to leave today. But in six months to the
- 3:54Speaker 1: days they watched how far I.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Be away from here now for them six months. I'm
- 4:00Speaker 5: just gonna sleep in the rec room, but you're gonna
- 4:03Speaker 5: have to stay.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Yeah, So we will see how all this work. Will
- 4:07Speaker 1: talk about college football and the coaches and the despicable
- 4:12Speaker 1: examples like Auburn. I don't know, still don't know what
- 4:15Speaker 1: my team is doing. Uh down on the planes of Auburn.
- 4:20Speaker 7: Uh.
- 4:20Speaker 1: It'd be interesting to see how deep, like which which
- 4:25Speaker 1: loss we'll keep? We'll get Hugh Freeze out of there?
- 4:29Speaker 1: Like which which of the losses? Like will it be
- 4:32Speaker 1: this week if you go? Because think about it. Florida
- 4:35Speaker 1: fired Billy Napier after he won. He won on Sarah,
- 4:43Speaker 1: he beat like Mississippi State, didn't he Florida beat Mississippi State.
- 4:49Speaker 9: And I've never saw that how that works. But no,
- 4:55Speaker 9: have you ever saw a coach get fired after a loss?
- 4:59Speaker 9: I'm I mean after win. I've never have seen that.
- 5:03Speaker 9: No known of the known in sports my entire life.
- 5:07Speaker 9: After a win in football, you get fired.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it was very interesting that And I'm like you,
- 5:12Speaker 1: I kept trying to rite on my head of where
- 5:16Speaker 1: I've seen, like at the end of the season, I
- 5:19Speaker 1: think kind of like Tony Dungee and he was at
- 5:22Speaker 1: Tampa I think, or one of the teams. They had
- 5:25Speaker 1: done pretty good and at the end, I think at
- 5:27Speaker 1: the end of the season.
- 5:29Speaker 5: But after the winnin Hey, yeah, but I'm talking about
- 5:32Speaker 5: one right after the week you say he won twenty three,
- 5:35Speaker 5: twenty one, twenty three. You say, all right, so it
- 5:38Speaker 5: was twenty three and they got twenty one.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Yeah, we won by two. You know, you messed up.
- 5:48Speaker 2: But it's like, like, what what do you mean.
- 5:50Speaker 9: It's like the man that's supposed to fire and was
- 5:51Speaker 9: out last week because he was sick, Well, it makes.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Me feel like you fired him the week before. Yeah,
- 5:57Speaker 1: they had to call the boosters, Yeah, and see if
- 6:00Speaker 1: we can get this money together for or call his agent.
- 6:04Speaker 1: That's why he got the extra time or yeah, or
- 6:06Speaker 1: to call his agent, and I situate how the payscale
- 6:11Speaker 1: would go. We're gonna let Billy go. But sometimes you
- 6:14Speaker 1: got to look deep. Some colleges are still paying two
- 6:17Speaker 1: or three, four, five, six eight coaches. Remember any coach
- 6:23Speaker 1: in college that gets fired, whether it's the volleyball coach
- 6:27Speaker 1: or the lacrosse coach, if they still in the contract,
- 6:30Speaker 1: we're paying them too. So it's not always just you're looking,
- 6:33Speaker 1: oh they're paying. No, if you fired that baseball coach
- 6:36Speaker 1: last year, that you still old him the twelve million dollars.
- 6:39Speaker 6: Then you know, in this case with Billy Napier, they
- 6:43Speaker 6: they had to pay a certain amount of that buyout
- 6:46Speaker 6: or whatever within thirty days. And then so I think
- 6:50Speaker 6: I agree that they gave him the extra game because
- 6:53Speaker 6: now they're three and four. There were two and four,
- 6:56Speaker 6: so it was like even if he won two games
- 6:59Speaker 6: at once and let go.
- 7:02Speaker 5: I had a question when you said you don't know
- 7:05Speaker 5: what's going on down there on the planes. I remember
- 7:07Speaker 5: you mentioned being in the I believe it was the
- 7:09Speaker 5: Falcons press conference, and they said they just listened to
- 7:12Speaker 5: what the fans want and then they implement that. Is
- 7:14Speaker 5: that what's happening everywhere, Like even on the planes, they're
- 7:17Speaker 5: listening to the boosters or whoever's got their ear, and
- 7:21Speaker 5: then they just go do what those people said do.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I think the unfairness of college coaches right now is
- 7:27Speaker 1: that they're having to on the fly adjust to pro Ball,
- 7:34Speaker 1: meaning yeah, that the scrutiny is higher, we have shorter
- 7:40Speaker 1: because now you can go get players, but people forget
- 7:43Speaker 1: when you go get players. There is a part of
- 7:47Speaker 1: that that I tried to assimilate this young man quickly,
- 7:54Speaker 1: and since he's not a pro, right, he's still in
- 7:57Speaker 1: that teetering and that learning that part. If I don't
- 8:01Speaker 1: get instant results when I go out, now, I've asked
- 8:03Speaker 1: some booster for a million dollars to go get him.
- 8:06Speaker 1: If you look at Auburn, two or three of those
- 8:09Speaker 1: offensive linemen they just brought in from other schools on
- 8:13Speaker 1: nil deals, and we lead the sec in sacks, so
- 8:19Speaker 1: you instantly go And this is the negative part of Yes,
- 8:22Speaker 1: they got money in their pocket, but they are athletes.
- 8:26Speaker 1: The money does not satisfy the agony of the lifetime
- 8:34Speaker 1: view of you. All you out there that thinks that,
- 8:39Speaker 1: oh he he made one hundred million dollars. It doesn't
- 8:43Speaker 1: quench that I have to live all my life under
- 8:48Speaker 1: the hammer. JaMarcus Russell can't spend enough money. He still
- 8:56Speaker 1: sees himself as whatever he did as a player. The
- 9:00Speaker 1: money doesn't quench that. It doesn't solve it solves his
- 9:06Speaker 1: personal life, his financial issues. Yes, it doesn't solve his
- 9:12Speaker 1: view of himself. He's not He walks into every in
- 9:15Speaker 1: you feeling whatever scrutiny. They they're not recognize they just
- 9:22Speaker 1: just my fourth album. They sit there, everybody is under this.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Well no, if he got no, why do you think
- 9:30Speaker 1: these guys get in their min forty and want to
- 9:32Speaker 1: go on some ESPN interview and get it off their
- 9:36Speaker 1: chest Because in.
- 9:38Speaker 5: The locker room he don't even have to be ESPN.
- 9:43Speaker 5: He used to wear girls shoes in the locker room.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But we didn't know about that when it was going on,
- 9:50Speaker 1: because that is an aspect that nobody In sports and
- 9:54Speaker 1: in certain other industries, you have this window of time.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're basically shaping how people you you for and that's
- 10:04Speaker 1: just how they see you. You take the greatness of
- 10:08Speaker 1: the air Jordan's yes, they only they don't really care
- 10:12Speaker 1: how much money Michael Jordan has. It doesn't even They
- 10:18Speaker 1: just see him as the ballplayer. They don't see that
- 10:21Speaker 1: he had might have gone and made five times more
- 10:25Speaker 1: money in the business world. They don't care. Not nobody catching,
- 10:29Speaker 1: no big fish or sponsor a race team. All they
- 10:33Speaker 1: know is Michael Jordan. And that's how you end up being.
- 10:37Speaker 1: You don't really get out of that loop if you
- 10:41Speaker 1: missed that third out in baseball, keep it up you'll
- 10:45Speaker 1: be that for the rest of your life if you fumble.
- 10:47Speaker 1: What was the man Bill Butner. Bill Buckner's family say
- 10:53Speaker 1: he never got over that it was He had to
- 10:56Speaker 1: go to counseling for a lifetime. But everybody will think, no, Bill,
- 11:00Speaker 1: just go lay up on the money, man, go to
- 11:02Speaker 1: the bank, pull out a meal, throw it on the
- 11:04Speaker 1: bed and lay in it and yeah, sure that will
- 11:07Speaker 1: saw and you lay that million dollars and.
- 11:10Speaker 9: You come in this suicide done eymore it would if
- 11:17Speaker 9: I would have got that third out, uh sports shot.
- 11:20Speaker 5: I think that a lot of reason though, again that
- 11:22Speaker 5: people would imagine that you can just let something like
- 11:25Speaker 5: that go away is because they've never been in a
- 11:29Speaker 5: moment where they felt like it mattered and depended on them,
- 11:35Speaker 5: and they let everybody down. They let themselves down first,
- 11:38Speaker 5: and then they let other people down. Most people will
- 11:41Speaker 5: never understand that pressure. And then let alone have the
- 11:45Speaker 5: world watching it in high definition television.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And I'm here to let you know that you will
- 11:50Speaker 1: remember ninety percent of what you remember is what you
- 11:56Speaker 1: did wrong in sports. You remember when you didn't make
- 12:03Speaker 1: or play. Everybody else will be sitting there talking about,
- 12:06Speaker 1: oh man, you remember that game you had four touchdowns
- 12:09Speaker 1: and all you can remember is the region game you
- 12:13Speaker 1: had to go to the state championship. You dropped that.
- 12:16Speaker 1: That's just as imprinted in your brain. None of them
- 12:20Speaker 1: other touchdowns help you. That was threw me. The one
- 12:24Speaker 1: in the Super Bowl I dropped. I think the tight
- 12:28Speaker 1: end from maybe Dallas or something, or if somebody who
- 12:30Speaker 1: actually they thought that really played in them taking their
- 12:35Speaker 1: life like that. It's really defining. So we'll talk more
- 12:41Speaker 1: college sports when we getting back Big Kenny Comanchi, Greg
- 12:44Speaker 1: the Bad Producer? Which Laker? Are you big? Big game? James?

- 16:24Speaker 1: No this mother than straight the West Coast.
- 16:30Speaker 9: Peak the Squaret, I think with the gang that don't
- 16:33Speaker 9: need no intro from me, sm each the.
- 16:35Speaker 1: West South Central. Welcome back to the spot Shock Show.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I'm the boy Shock Wayne again and we ride with
- 16:42Speaker 1: the West Coast today because of our jock of the day.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Give me some more of that, Grehn, give me a
- 16:49Speaker 1: little bit more of that, just because he deserves it.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I want everybody to raise their hands up. Guys, put
- 16:55Speaker 1: your hands up. Let me get a little clapp into
- 16:57Speaker 1: the micro show. Can I get a little clapp in
- 17:00Speaker 1: the mic that we go? There? We go him a
- 17:02Speaker 1: little mo Limo clapping the mic l a Dodger Showhy oh, Tony,
- 17:11Speaker 1: were riding to the West Coast for you, baby? What
- 17:18Speaker 1: ten strikeouts, three home runs? So you won the game
- 17:24Speaker 1: for yourself. Do you understand what I'm saying. The man
- 17:28Speaker 1: won the game for himself and one of the greatest
- 17:33Speaker 1: performances that don't get enough talking about. When you think
- 17:36Speaker 1: about it. They talk more about the whole situation with
- 17:43Speaker 1: him getting robbed by his friend that went on for
- 17:46Speaker 1: days and months about his good friend taking his money.
- 17:52Speaker 1: But then he goes and give you arguably the greatest performance.
- 17:56Speaker 1: It opened to why when people talk about Roof, why
- 18:02Speaker 1: some people who remember those times that you know years
- 18:06Speaker 1: ago or pull up that footage that you were doing
- 18:11Speaker 1: both jobs in one game. I put you on the mound,
- 18:17Speaker 1: you go six in and you strike out ten people,
- 18:20Speaker 1: and then you know, three home runs up at bat
- 18:25Speaker 1: four times, hit three home runs for yourself, three FO four.
- 18:33Speaker 5: That's a I Love Lucy episode. I'm serious, that's a sitcom.
- 18:37Speaker 5: I got up and I pitched, and then I hit
- 18:39Speaker 5: all the home runs and I won the game. That's
- 18:42Speaker 5: that is literally something out of some sort of movie
- 18:45Speaker 5: or TV scrip.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It is truly a performance that we had. We've seen
- 18:50Speaker 1: somebody pitch and strike out ten, twelve, fifteen people, and
- 18:54Speaker 1: we've seen somebody also get up and hit three home runs.
- 18:59Speaker 1: But ah, as a baseball watcher. No, no, it's not
- 19:02Speaker 1: like my main sport. But whether I watched it, and
- 19:05Speaker 1: I did watch this. When I got home, I called
- 19:08Speaker 1: the game Friday night over at He'll Grove Mckecheren and
- 19:12Speaker 1: he'll Grove High School six A football And once again,
- 19:16Speaker 1: like I keep telling, you get a chance Friday nights
- 19:19Speaker 1: GPB watch our game. It's a lot of guys that
- 19:24Speaker 1: you see on Saturday and Sunday, He'll Grove. You don't
- 19:29Speaker 1: even know the school, but it's a trivial question if
- 19:31Speaker 1: you went on Jeopardy He'll Grove. Right now, this season,
- 19:41Speaker 1: they have more high school players actually playing. We're not
- 19:47Speaker 1: talking about over the course of history. We're talking about
- 19:49Speaker 1: in a calendar year. They have seven players in the
- 19:52Speaker 1: NFL from that high school right now. That's most in
- 19:59Speaker 1: the country. Remember I'm talking about a single calendar year.
- 20:04Speaker 1: So don't go back, Oh, no, so and so, No,
- 20:07Speaker 1: I'm talking about in this season right now, they have
- 20:11Speaker 1: seven current players. I didn't know this either until we
- 20:16Speaker 1: was interviewing the coaches. I'd heard of He'll Grove. Didn't
- 20:20Speaker 1: know Kenyan Drake, guys like that went to He'll grow.
- 20:26Speaker 1: But watching the game the other night. It was the
- 20:30Speaker 1: biggest crowd we've ever had that I've been part of
- 20:33Speaker 1: in my seven eight, nine years whatever it's been i've
- 20:36Speaker 1: been doing this. It was about sixteen It was standing
- 20:40Speaker 1: room only, and standing room only for real. The fans
- 20:45Speaker 1: were there about two hours. I didn't know what was
- 20:48Speaker 1: going on. When I pull up to the stadium, it
- 20:51Speaker 1: was already about seven eight thousand people seated. Come on you,
- 20:57Speaker 1: Greg big Kenny, bad producer not walking in the gate
- 21:02Speaker 1: and I'm out sitting in the stands already because they
- 21:07Speaker 1: knew if I get here another fifteen minutes and be
- 21:12Speaker 1: standing up against that gate, they had them with lawn chairs.
- 21:15Speaker 1: It was just a great environment. It really was just
- 21:19Speaker 1: like wow, this is And the coaches had warned me
- 21:21Speaker 1: because m Keechen got so big at some point twenty
- 21:25Speaker 1: years ago that they made He'll Grow. So it became
- 21:27Speaker 1: a rivalry. They're three miles apart. As the coach said,
- 21:31Speaker 1: have you ever been even been on the campus in
- 21:33Speaker 1: mc keechen. Where did they play? They played at He'll Grove.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Okay, have you been on the campus in mc keche
- 21:37Speaker 5: I know they said, it's like a college campus. Yeah, no, no, no, No,
- 21:42Speaker 5: it's not like a college campus. It used to be
- 21:45Speaker 5: a college campus, and that's just I think they took
- 21:50Speaker 5: over a small university. But I remember seeing it and
- 21:54Speaker 5: I was like, what are they doing. Why do they
- 21:57Speaker 5: have the kids here at this college? And they were like, no,
- 21:59Speaker 5: this is the and it's a literal campus. They've got
- 22:02Speaker 5: a chancellor's building and you know, it's it's like Georgia Tech.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Yeah, they had the Mckeitcheren had Casey Barner. He's a sophomore.
- 22:12Speaker 1: He's number one highest rated souphomore in the country play safety,
- 22:18Speaker 1: people liking him to Tyron Matthews the Honey Badger. The
- 22:23Speaker 1: other coach for the other team labeled him as the
- 22:27Speaker 1: next great Eric Berry, who played for the Chiefs. Only
- 22:31Speaker 1: a sophomore, but he's the highest rated safety. Mckechen also
- 22:34Speaker 1: has a running back named ty Nolan. He's a freshman
- 22:40Speaker 1: six two two ten running back. He says his plan
- 22:47Speaker 1: is to be Derek Henry and I don't see anything
- 22:51Speaker 1: other than his genetics making him just too big, but
- 22:56Speaker 1: it is something to seek. I'm thinking maybe his.
- 23:00Speaker 5: Mom lied on the birth certificate but reclassified talking about it.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Abs already there. He a freshman in high school. He
- 23:10Speaker 1: really ought to be in the dock workers Union. He
- 23:15Speaker 1: got the Derick Henry abs already cut out. He stands
- 23:19Speaker 1: back there like Derrick Henry, and you get it. You
- 23:23Speaker 1: don't get it when the coach is telling you about it,
- 23:24Speaker 1: because you get it when you get to the field
- 23:27Speaker 1: and he's standing back the head with his hands and
- 23:30Speaker 1: coach says, he always falls forward, and yeah, you look
- 23:35Speaker 1: like a defensive end and you're fourteen. So ty Nolan,
- 23:39Speaker 1: I want to write that down because we will be
- 23:42Speaker 1: coming to a college campus near you from the college
- 23:45Speaker 1: camp for you already own it. So so he'll grow.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Uh what they got this year? I mean as far
- 23:53Speaker 1: as to well, both of them was undefeated, and up
- 23:56Speaker 1: until this game he'll grow off keychen one thirty five, fourteen.
- 24:01Speaker 1: But up until this point in seven games he'll grove
- 24:04Speaker 1: defense at only giving up thirteen points total total, not
- 24:12Speaker 1: a game thirteen points even games total they got. If
- 24:16Speaker 1: you got a day to kill, go over to mckechen
- 24:18Speaker 1: and walk around. We'll be that the sports talk show.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Right after this, we make records.
- 24:25Speaker 15: For the clubs and the bangles and the clubs tend

- 27:50Speaker 1: up and you if you've seen a greater performer in
- 27:53Speaker 1: a baseball game, in one baseball game, please let me
- 27:58Speaker 1: know that. Go back.
- 28:00Speaker 5: It sends you to the World Series. This could have
- 28:02Speaker 5: just been a preseason game. I said, if you could
- 28:04Speaker 5: have done that in the Triple eight League, I'd have
- 28:07Speaker 5: been impressed.
- 28:07Speaker 6: I saw a picture that said that twenty five players
- 28:11Speaker 6: have hit three home runs in a playoff game, and
- 28:14Speaker 6: twenty five pictures have had went six innings, struck out
- 28:18Speaker 6: ten no runs.
- 28:21Speaker 1: He did that in the same game. He's on both lists.
- 28:26Speaker 1: He is gonna ride out with Show Hated. Go ahead, sir.
- 28:29Speaker 5: If anybody ought to make a an advertisement for show Hate,
- 28:33Speaker 5: it ought to be the Los Angeles Dodgers. I read
- 28:35Speaker 5: something yesterday that said, in one calendar year, alone with
- 28:39Speaker 5: his worldwide merchandising, marketing and.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Uniform sales.
- 28:48Speaker 5: They have recouped his seven hundred million dollar contract in
- 28:51Speaker 5: one calendar, which they haven't even like had him yet,
- 28:54Speaker 5: which I haven't been paid. So I'm saying, I'm just
- 28:58Speaker 5: sitting there on money that I owe you that I
- 29:00Speaker 5: ain't got to give you right now.
- 29:03Speaker 1: They call that re up, That's what they called it.
- 29:06Speaker 1: That's what they're gonna call that the win. Yes, Monday
- 29:09Speaker 1: Night Football is tonight, two games once again. I don't
- 29:12Speaker 1: know what in it, you know. All I know is
- 29:14Speaker 1: they got in bed with ESPN. And don't be surprised
- 29:20Speaker 1: if this is just not a new trend for next
- 29:25Speaker 1: year where there's two Monday night games forever because ESPN
- 29:31Speaker 1: is ABC. As we talked about. You think about television
- 29:35Speaker 1: now with streaming and just basic you know, your regular
- 29:39Speaker 1: television channels don't bring you a lot of content. They
- 29:43Speaker 1: got a lot of cop shows and hospital shows. They
- 29:46Speaker 1: don't even have a lot of comedy. To me, television
- 29:50Speaker 1: is more seen through apps and those kind of shows
- 29:54Speaker 1: than it is on TV. As far as TV, Netflix,
- 29:59Speaker 1: they just keep making the same. Now we got a
- 30:02Speaker 1: nine one one Nashville and the nine, one one Las
- 30:05Speaker 1: Vegas and the nine it's five n c I S.
- 30:09Speaker 1: It's they don't win all around the world. How you
- 30:10Speaker 1: got how you get to Australia because crime and now
- 30:16Speaker 1: you got you know it now.
- 30:19Speaker 5: But but if you know what in the c I
- 30:21Speaker 5: S is it's a by product of military United States
- 30:25Speaker 5: military investigations.
- 30:27Speaker 1: So what are you doing in That's what I'm saying.
- 30:29Speaker 5: I thought it was a US thing, but you're over
- 30:30Speaker 5: there at their base, and then you have the embassy,
- 30:34Speaker 5: got nine hundred.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Law and Order s v U in Icago, a whole Chicago.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Night, Chicago Fire, Chicago, Man, Chicago, p D, p D
- 30:47Speaker 5: Chicago Chicago.
- 30:48Speaker 9: They got they got a Chicago on the start on
- 30:52Speaker 9: one of those papers. Right again, you got at l
- 30:56Speaker 9: and you got twin them.
- 30:58Speaker 1: And I'm just saying this, So this looks like it's
- 31:00Speaker 1: gonna be something they're going to try to feed you.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Because one of these games at seven, which looks to
- 31:05Speaker 1: be the best of the two, Tampa Bay at five
- 31:07Speaker 1: and one, taking on Detroit at four and two in
- 31:11Speaker 1: Detroit that's at seven and at ten something, you might
- 31:14Speaker 1: fall asleep on the Texans Houston Texans and the Seahawks
- 31:19Speaker 1: at ten PM. And it is hard. It's hard to
- 31:24Speaker 1: as watching the game. Even last night, We'll start with
- 31:27Speaker 1: the Falcons in forty nine ers watching that game, crowd
- 31:31Speaker 1: I was with around halftime. It becomes hard unless that's
- 31:35Speaker 1: the only game you watch. I have for at least
- 31:41Speaker 1: for me, If the only game I watch is the
- 31:44Speaker 1: night game, you have my interest because I haven't had anything.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I haven't had any football food to eat. But it's
- 31:53Speaker 1: hard to watch a night game after you already have
- 31:56Speaker 1: come out.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Yeah, even if I'm preparing, I'm nibbling them a little
- 32:00Speaker 5: bit by the time I serve it.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Ah Man, And so I don't halftime people, especially if
- 32:07Speaker 1: the game is not engaging, people started to fade away.
- 32:11Speaker 1: So but last night in San Francisco, Michael Pennix and
- 32:16Speaker 1: the Falcons taking on the mac Jones, and some of
- 32:24Speaker 1: these quarterbacks are showing you why I say most of
- 32:28Speaker 1: them really need a year. You need a year bigger. Now,
- 32:34Speaker 1: you've always needed kind of a year for a quarterback,
- 32:37Speaker 1: but you need a year for a quarterback. Michael Pennix
- 32:42Speaker 1: needed a year to even have a good chance. And
- 32:45Speaker 1: any of them talking about whether they had success or not,
- 32:48Speaker 1: because everybody judge off the one success and they want
- 32:51Speaker 1: to spread it. You need a year because the college
- 32:54Speaker 1: systems no longer reflect the pro systems, don't They used
- 33:01Speaker 1: to go hand in hand. So when I was a kid,
- 33:03Speaker 1: the kind of whatever little offense I ran in high
- 33:05Speaker 1: school wasn't too far away from the style in college
- 33:12Speaker 1: and then to the pros. Well, now, if I go
- 33:15Speaker 1: to high school, we don't get in a huddle, but
- 33:17Speaker 1: then when I go to college. I mean, when I
- 33:19Speaker 1: go to college, we don't get in a huddle, But
- 33:21Speaker 1: then I get in the pro they huddle up. Interesting,
- 33:25Speaker 1: isn't it anybody think about? You go high school, don't
- 33:31Speaker 1: they just all stand around on the field, the quarterback
- 33:34Speaker 1: yell out, the coach over here, they looking to the sideline.
- 33:39Speaker 1: They do the same thing in college. But when you
- 33:43Speaker 1: get the pros, they don't have the Hulk sign and
- 33:47Speaker 1: the iron Man's sign.
- 33:52Speaker 9: Y'all book thicker? Also, excuse me? Is your playbook even thicker?
- 33:56Speaker 1: No? No, no, it's it's it's just about the operation.
- 34:00Speaker 1: There is no sign. There is no He's not going
- 34:02Speaker 1: to tell you I don't have time to play. Clock
- 34:05Speaker 1: is twenty five. I don't have time to tell you
- 34:08Speaker 1: what to do. You're gonna have to figure it out yourself.
- 34:10Speaker 1: So I go from almost like a kid leaving his
- 34:14Speaker 1: parents' house and never was giving any of the responsibilities
- 34:20Speaker 1: of the house. He never washed his own clothes, or
- 34:24Speaker 1: cleaned his own room or pay the bill. Then you
- 34:26Speaker 1: put him over here. That's why we go to you know,
- 34:30Speaker 1: the college and the military to get at experience of
- 34:33Speaker 1: finally taking care of and standing on your own mental
- 34:38Speaker 1: But in college you need a year. It's just my
- 34:42Speaker 1: opinion where you need a year and from the college
- 34:46Speaker 1: ranks as a quarterback. And I said all that because
- 34:49Speaker 1: of Matt Jones and how he's playing. When I see
- 34:51Speaker 1: Daniel Jones for the Colts, it seems like these guys
- 34:56Speaker 1: in the second time around seemed to have Sam Donald,
- 35:00Speaker 1: They seem to have a little more understanding of what
- 35:04Speaker 1: to do.
- 35:05Speaker 6: Do you think part of that is with the expectations
- 35:08Speaker 6: of that quarterback coming in are It's just it's it's
- 35:15Speaker 6: unrealistic expectations. Like I saw a video with about Marcus
- 35:20Speaker 6: Mariota when he was with the Titans that the offense
- 35:24Speaker 6: coordinator wasn't really giving him any plays or strategy. So
- 35:30Speaker 6: him and so Mariota and their center are basically calling
- 35:33Speaker 6: every play. They're they're figuring out themselves. And not to
- 35:38Speaker 6: say that every offense coordinator does that, but it's unrealistic.
- 35:41Speaker 6: Like we drafted this quarterback. He's going to solve all
- 35:44Speaker 6: our problems.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Well that's what the fans think. Every fan I know
- 35:49Speaker 1: think that whatever court, oh you know, where we get him,
- 35:52Speaker 1: it's gonna And then the next thing, as soon as
- 35:54Speaker 1: he failed us, see he ain't got nobody throw to.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I thought you said he was going any I thought
- 36:00Speaker 1: you said he was gonna solve all your problems.
- 36:03Speaker 5: I think they forget that there's somebody that has to
- 36:05Speaker 5: be thrown.
- 36:06Speaker 1: But this is the thing.
- 36:08Speaker 5: Anytime that a team is failing a lot of times
- 36:10Speaker 5: they say the only component that they're missing is a
- 36:13Speaker 5: solid quarterback. We need a guy who can scramble. We
- 36:16Speaker 5: need a guy who can stand in the pocket and throw.
- 36:18Speaker 5: We need somebody more accurate, we need somebody with a
- 36:21Speaker 5: stronger arm. We need somebody who can do that thing
- 36:25Speaker 5: when the play breaks down. And so everybody goes that's
- 36:28Speaker 5: all we need is a quarterback. And then you get
- 36:30Speaker 5: the quarterback and he gets sacked fifteen times and you go,
- 36:33Speaker 5: oh man, yeah somebody, yeah, we need it online, and
- 36:37Speaker 5: so a lot of that gets lost in you just
- 36:41Speaker 5: sing and hearing what everybody focuses on.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Well, last night, the one thing I love about sports
- 36:47Speaker 1: is that part some people don't get where the competitive
- 36:52Speaker 1: nature comes out just because of who you're playing. It's
- 36:55Speaker 1: deeper than just quarterbacks. It goes to every position. When
- 36:59Speaker 1: there's what you say is the super star on the
- 37:02Speaker 1: other side, the other team's guy wants to show you
- 37:06Speaker 1: that he's just as good as who you say is good.
- 37:11Speaker 1: And it seemed like that was what was going on
- 37:13Speaker 1: last night between Bijon Robinson and Christian McCaffrey. Now, Bijeon
- 37:19Speaker 1: did win the dressing contest last night that short set.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Did y'all see him in this cardigan? Some of the
- 37:27Speaker 1: target I don't.
- 37:28Speaker 5: I don't.
- 37:28Speaker 1: I don't watch at the thigh high short see. I
- 37:31Speaker 1: don't watch them walking the candy stripe. See, I don't
- 37:34Speaker 1: watch them walk into the locker room.
- 37:35Speaker 5: Because it changed my opinion about a lot of these dudes.
- 37:38Speaker 5: You be my guy till I see you in some
- 37:40Speaker 5: can What was going on last night after that just
- 37:47Speaker 5: told me what I'm calling you BJ. I'm not calling
- 37:50Speaker 5: you are You're just BJ. Can't I can't see that
- 37:57Speaker 5: I'm not. That's thing even from now. Baseball is different
- 38:02Speaker 5: because most of them dudes just show up in a suit.
- 38:06Speaker 5: Football NBA. I don't watch them because NBA get even weirder.
- 38:10Speaker 5: NBA dudes show up at like it's not he said through, Yeah,
- 38:15Speaker 5: you can see. I shouldn't be able to see your
- 38:17Speaker 5: bad chest under your shirt.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Well, the forty nine ers, even with about half the
- 38:23Speaker 1: team on i R beat the Falcons. Last lot of
- 38:27Speaker 1: them was missing, and you know kind of you know,
- 38:31Speaker 1: the Falcon still has a good team, good defense. They
- 38:34Speaker 1: just got to figure out how to consistently move the
- 38:37Speaker 1: ball because they have flashes of moving the ball, but
- 38:41Speaker 1: they just don't consistently move the ball. We'll be back
- 38:45Speaker 1: more to Sports Shock Show right after this.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Yeah, up for you to move, don't go away, or
- 39:03Speaker 2: of the.

- 41:32Speaker 3: Say you can see the sports Jane, I'll sing even big.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Jenny, Welcome back to this boy Shock Shaw, this boy
- 41:41Speaker 1: shock Wayne Againdy. The Packers had just enough yesterday to
- 41:48Speaker 1: come back and beat Arizona. Jacobe Brissette doing all he could,
- 41:54Speaker 1: as the old general out of Florida has to be
- 41:59Speaker 1: about his fifth sixteen is Jacobe, but did a good
- 42:04Speaker 1: job of manning the ship and was up twenty three
- 42:09Speaker 1: to zero there with about a minute to go and
- 42:13Speaker 1: Kreem Bay Jordan Love able to come back and get
- 42:15Speaker 1: that victory. Twenty seven, twenty three, similar situation there with
- 42:21Speaker 1: the Denver game. The Giants doing an excellent job since
- 42:26Speaker 1: Jackson Dark and I know people criticizing, I know Alex
- 42:30Speaker 1: Smith was going in thinking the Giants are gonna get
- 42:34Speaker 1: Jackson Dark hurt. But this is just something like rookies.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Just Jaydeon Daniels did the same kind of thing last
- 42:42Speaker 1: year where you kind of made it up as I'm
- 42:45Speaker 1: gonna kind of give you a play, but when they
- 42:49Speaker 1: changed that defense three times you get confused. Then just
- 42:53Speaker 1: kind of to do that.
- 42:56Speaker 5: You got a hybrid engine. Now some of this stuff
- 42:59Speaker 5: is designed and some of this stuff I'm gonna just bleeding.
- 43:03Speaker 5: And that's that rookie part.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Like once they get to that third defense and they
- 43:07Speaker 1: confused you, now now you brain on lock. Don't just
- 43:10Speaker 1: throw the ball and throw an interception. Do that thing
- 43:14Speaker 1: for a minute and then scramble run, because that's usually
- 43:19Speaker 1: what a rookie does. The defense they switch it up
- 43:23Speaker 1: and then he gets confused. Instead of improvising, he just
- 43:27Speaker 1: throws the ball for just a interception Jackson Dark and
- 43:31Speaker 1: I know, and Alex Milf was right because that you
- 43:35Speaker 1: know this is you can't long term do it. But
- 43:39Speaker 1: when you're fresh out of college, that's your only weapon
- 43:42Speaker 1: because you're not used to this idea. Remember in college,
- 43:46Speaker 1: you're still working minimum hours, whereas in the pros the
- 43:51Speaker 1: whole day we're spending from seven am. Practice is just
- 43:55Speaker 1: something need to get on film to see if you
- 43:58Speaker 1: did it right. Pro practice once the season start is
- 44:02Speaker 1: not like what you imagine in your head high school
- 44:07Speaker 1: went chat. No, it's just we're gonna do it. Okay,
- 44:11Speaker 1: I had him, Okay, so what are you gonna Yeah,
- 44:16Speaker 1: you're gonna get him, big Kenny. I thought I was
- 44:18Speaker 1: supposed to get bad. Okay, Craig, are we taking this
- 44:23Speaker 1: back to Greg? Right? Yeah? Take it back to fifty one? Okay, Okay,
- 44:30Speaker 1: So when I come here, you go, don't don't worry
- 44:33Speaker 1: about I'm gonna just call you off. So we were
- 44:35Speaker 1: gonna say solo. If he's in a four technique or
- 44:38Speaker 1: a five I or shade outside, I'm gonna say solo.
- 44:44Speaker 1: So we just running line. I say solo. You just
- 44:46Speaker 1: go get him and I'll take shade solo I'll take
- 44:50Speaker 1: care of him. So like it's it's like being on
- 44:52Speaker 1: stage just after the first solo. I'm just gonna grunt
- 44:55Speaker 1: if we come back to this play, I'm gonna just
- 44:58Speaker 1: look over at you. That's gonna mean, Hey, coach, did
- 45:00Speaker 1: you say we ain't gonna just be out here saying
- 45:02Speaker 1: solo every time? And because out there two times, he's
- 45:05Speaker 1: gonna realize when I say solo, you come blocking. I'm
- 45:09Speaker 1: waiting on the whistle to blow. Ain't we gonna do
- 45:10Speaker 1: some of these What happened to the stadiums and all
- 45:14Speaker 1: of that? And then we used to do it? Yeah,
- 45:17Speaker 1: up down when you.
- 45:18Speaker 9: Don't three days up when somebody when you do it around,
- 45:22Speaker 9: you're trying to play right up down.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Everybody gotta do up down? What is he talking about?
- 45:28Speaker 5: You know you I'm saying the physical ground. You know
- 45:30Speaker 5: you're about to drop down on the ground, up and down.
- 45:34Speaker 5: You know you can get cut just pushing somebody on
- 45:37Speaker 5: the ground. Oh, y'all do up and down.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Go back there and push that quarterback down and see
- 45:42Speaker 1: what happens. D You're gonna start a fight out here?
- 45:47Speaker 1: What's the purpose? Up down? All through the up down
- 45:50Speaker 1: up and we don't do I said, pro ball, we
- 45:56Speaker 1: don't do that. And I barely want to be out
- 46:00Speaker 1: here right now commands. She ain't even changed his clothes.
- 46:04Speaker 1: He just put his pasts on what he came to
- 46:06Speaker 1: work in the day. And a lot of people don't understand.
- 46:12Speaker 5: They all kind of feel like, once you get there,
- 46:15Speaker 5: there should be this level of But all of that
- 46:18Speaker 5: stuff was in an effort to get here, and now
- 46:23Speaker 5: it's a different game.
- 46:24Speaker 1: I got different rules and regulations that I'm just remember
- 46:27Speaker 1: when I say solo, you go get him. Hold on,
- 46:30Speaker 1: when I say texts, what I'm gonna do is I'm
- 46:33Speaker 1: gonna set and then I'm gonna get him and then
- 46:35Speaker 1: you kick him out and.
- 46:37Speaker 5: Then they switch it to defense and I just do
- 46:40Speaker 5: but come to my mind, but I don't remember.
- 46:44Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 46:45Speaker 9: I came with four eyes of five eyes. Yeah, four
- 46:48Speaker 9: hours of five hours.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Now that's and that's other than them a little two
- 46:51Speaker 1: weeks of training. Yet when it's really the rest of
- 46:54Speaker 1: it is we gotta talk this out of who is
- 46:58Speaker 1: gonna get And.
- 46:59Speaker 5: It's just because when we see it on ESPN or
- 47:03Speaker 5: something and they say organized team activities or the Falcons
- 47:08Speaker 5: are in uh, preseason.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Every time they show everybody.
- 47:13Speaker 5: Running and catching and they doing drills and you would
- 47:17Speaker 5: think that goes on the entire day.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Well no, because because Bjeon just ran the ball thirty
- 47:24Speaker 1: times on Sunday. So he's not even practicing Friday. Now
- 47:32Speaker 1: with that outfit, every day we have to get ours.
- 47:37Speaker 1: So when he comes back, I can't believe that he's
- 47:40Speaker 1: not even practicing.
- 47:41Speaker 5: He said, with the outfit, and you got to come
- 47:43Speaker 5: to practice every day. He need a partition in the
- 47:46Speaker 5: locker room.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Now I can't.
- 47:47Speaker 5: I don't want to watch you get dressed, Twin. I
- 47:51Speaker 5: can't watch you get dressed. Nobody tell me to show.
- 47:56Speaker 5: Come on, Twin, I did not realize he can.
- 47:59Speaker 1: I tell you. Outfit was just need a little on
- 48:02Speaker 1: the short, shorts were a little Your pocket should never
- 48:05Speaker 1: be lowered than your shorts. In your card, we've gotta
- 48:09Speaker 1: be buttoned up and tight like a lettlement. The man
- 48:13Speaker 1: cut up got up, but you still can see that
- 48:16Speaker 1: if you tightened.
- 48:17Speaker 5: But peppermin striped though, come on, or a Kappa peppermint stripes.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Shots wipe me? That won't smoke. Nobody once going twice,
- 48:35Speaker 1: don't want smoke.
- 48:35Speaker 5: No body tell me what you know about it, strap

- 49:45Speaker 21: It's a powerful opioate, often made illegally and commonly mixed

- 50:11Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gay.
- 50:16Speaker 22: Center Court on sports news gossip, blah blah, blah blah.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Welcome back to this boy Shock show. I'm this spot
- 50:51Speaker 1: shock Wayne Game. Monday Night Football. A double hitter, as
- 50:55Speaker 1: they say, Bucks at Detroit, Texans at c Hogs. The
- 51:01Speaker 1: Texans c J. Stroud's not at that level that we
- 51:08Speaker 1: saw him in as a rookie. But the team is
- 51:10Speaker 1: two and three. The Seahawks are four and to the
- 51:15Speaker 1: Bucks five and one. Baker Mayfield MVP. Right now if
- 51:19Speaker 1: you had to pick one, has the Bucks at five
- 51:21Speaker 1: and one? When you look at the carousel of injuries.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I mean he went out there last week with some
- 51:29Speaker 1: of receivers I didn't actually know and won the game.
- 51:34Speaker 1: I didn't. It's like I didn't know that any of
- 51:36Speaker 1: those guys. Mike Evans was out. Good God wouldn't was out.
- 51:40Speaker 1: He had a third receiver out. So he went to
- 51:43Speaker 1: work five and one.
- 51:45Speaker 6: Yeah, he's out there with TEDZ Johnson. I know he's
- 51:48Speaker 6: a seventh rounder and whatever's left of Sterling Shepherd.
- 51:55Speaker 1: There was some guys at five and one, and the
- 51:56Speaker 1: Bucks looks strong. They can run the ball and they
- 51:59Speaker 1: you know, all ways have been able to play defense.
- 52:02Speaker 1: A couple of things happened since we last was on
- 52:06Speaker 1: the Jets or JTS Jets, Jets Jets. They lost. So
- 52:11Speaker 1: that's but that's not the story. Now, that ain't start.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Nick Mangle, one of their longtime old lineman, needs a
- 52:18Speaker 1: kidney donor. He's out. He needs a kidney donor. Really
- 52:22Speaker 1: none of his immediate family because his kidney issue is
- 52:26Speaker 1: genetic from what I was reading, so they are not
- 52:30Speaker 1: very suitable.
- 52:32Speaker 10: So he is.
- 52:33Speaker 1: I think Nick is only about forty one forty two
- 52:35Speaker 1: young guy kidney donat Travis Hunter, very interesting situation with him.
- 52:41Speaker 1: The Jacks did lose yesterday to My My Rams thirty
- 52:45Speaker 1: five to seven, in a game Travis Hunter scored his
- 52:50Speaker 1: first NFL touchdown. I still when I watched the Jacks game,
- 52:55Speaker 1: you really just need to start him on one side
- 52:57Speaker 1: of the ball, because to me, the impact that he
- 53:01Speaker 1: can have is being lost with this whole count that
- 53:09Speaker 1: you have a player that whatever side of the ball
- 53:11Speaker 1: he's on, he should never leave that side of the ball.
- 53:15Speaker 1: And if you want to sprinkle him in, and that's
- 53:18Speaker 1: why a lot of people feel like, put him at corner.
- 53:21Speaker 1: And if you want to run a couple of packages
- 53:23Speaker 1: with him on offense, then okay. But if all he
- 53:28Speaker 1: did today was play corner, let him do that. But
- 53:30Speaker 1: to me, his impact gets lost with this hole because
- 53:35Speaker 1: we're in what week seven, and you're just finally seeing
- 53:39Speaker 1: the end zone and when I watch him, he ends
- 53:41Speaker 1: the games but maybe two catches, three catch You know,
- 53:45Speaker 1: it's not trying to do it the other way around
- 53:47Speaker 1: like that.
- 53:48Speaker 6: You want to make him our number one receiver and
- 53:52Speaker 6: then sprinkle him in on defense, and I don't think.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Well, how do I make you number one anything with
- 53:57Speaker 1: part time work?
- 53:58Speaker 4: Right?
- 53:58Speaker 23: Right?
- 54:01Speaker 1: And That's what I'm saying it's better for you to
- 54:03Speaker 1: pick in a situation. If a corner gets hurt, you're
- 54:08Speaker 1: our emergency corner. Why why don't you think they're committing
- 54:14Speaker 1: I think because the bigger story is if I can
- 54:16Speaker 1: get him to do both. But it's also a greater risk,
- 54:22Speaker 1: isn't it sure? And that's what I don't understand about it.
- 54:26Speaker 5: You're willing to risk your progress and possibly his professional
- 54:31Speaker 5: future playing him this way in an effort to capitalize
- 54:35Speaker 5: on the marketing potential instead of just winning football games,
- 54:40Speaker 5: which I think is for me as a football peurist,
- 54:42Speaker 5: where a lot of my.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Issues with the current state of the NFL is is I'm.
- 54:51Speaker 5: Considering scrapping all my jet stuff and just going back
- 54:55Speaker 5: to being a Chicago Bears.
- 54:57Speaker 1: No, seriously, I'm finna go home and ask my folks
- 55:00Speaker 1: like man, y'all think you.
- 55:02Speaker 5: Know, I know, I know it's been a lot of
- 55:06Speaker 5: years that y'all had to put up with me to
- 55:08Speaker 5: table with the green and white out, But I'm sorry,
- 55:11Speaker 5: they got a plan for you, right, So that's that's
- 55:14Speaker 5: what I'm saying.
- 55:14Speaker 1: I don't know, because we can't just lay all this
- 55:17Speaker 1: at the Jags when they went to Travis and your
- 55:20Speaker 1: pre when you go to the combine, when you do
- 55:23Speaker 1: your pre scouting meetings, some of the you know, did
- 55:28Speaker 1: they commit to this at least four years to be
- 55:33Speaker 1: able to bring him on board because he could have
- 55:35Speaker 1: been in there came. I don't really want to. I
- 55:39Speaker 1: only want to be drafted by a team that will
- 55:40Speaker 1: let me do both.
- 55:42Speaker 6: Does it show that it's that it's still like I
- 55:45Speaker 6: think it shows like it's really hard to play multiple
- 55:48Speaker 6: positions in the NFL. In college, you can do that,
- 55:52Speaker 6: like someone like Jabrill Peppers he played linebacker, safety, put
- 55:57Speaker 6: a running back, he returned kicks. When he got to
- 56:01Speaker 6: the NFL, they didn't They didn't move him around like that.
- 56:06Speaker 6: He mostly stayed at safety. Or someone like Isaiah Simmons
- 56:09Speaker 6: who lined up in every single position. But they couldn't
- 56:12Speaker 6: really do that in the NFL because it's it's more
- 56:18Speaker 6: comp I think, isn't it more complex as far as
- 56:21Speaker 6: like the responsibilities for each position?
- 56:24Speaker 1: It's completely if if you're in the NFL, most likely
- 56:31Speaker 1: you have played not you played multiple positions. Growing up,
- 56:38Speaker 1: I was an old line and a D lineman. I
- 56:42Speaker 1: thought I was a better D lineman, but the colleges.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Came for the offensive line because I can find it's
- 56:49Speaker 1: harder to find offensive lineman than it is a defensive lineman.
- 56:54Speaker 1: So when you come play offensive line, now, when you
- 56:57Speaker 1: do that, it's hard to go from right tackle to
- 56:59Speaker 1: the left tackle. Your whole body has to shift. Everything
- 57:06Speaker 1: has to shift. You get c minute. If I go
- 57:09Speaker 1: to the doctor right now, my hips are shifted to
- 57:14Speaker 1: like this. One knee is stronger than the other, one
- 57:18Speaker 1: hip is tighter than the other. All based off of that. Well,
- 57:21Speaker 1: if I flip on the other side, I have to
- 57:23Speaker 1: be like this. It's the same thing with Travis Hunter.
- 57:27Speaker 1: He is trying to almost free land, so he's not
- 57:31Speaker 1: able to even really draw down on his particular talent
- 57:35Speaker 1: in a technique way. When you do it like that
- 57:38Speaker 1: that long and now you're dealing with the best of
- 57:41Speaker 1: the best. Boxes usually pick a style, right, they might
- 57:49Speaker 1: be able to do both of them. But they're going
- 57:51Speaker 1: into this fight. Well, I'm going to work south, Paul Moore.
- 57:56Speaker 1: You know, you know they don't just go back and forth.
- 58:00Speaker 1: They might throw it in just to throw you off
- 58:02Speaker 1: for a second. And they but they got to decide
- 58:04Speaker 1: how I'm gonna fight you. Mhmm. We watched film you
- 58:08Speaker 1: Struggle against South Paul, so I'm gonna take that stand.
- 58:12Speaker 1: And Travis Hunt, I just watched a couple of games
- 58:14Speaker 1: of his and I just feel like the impact. I
- 58:16Speaker 1: think he would be one of the top receivers. He
- 58:18Speaker 1: would be their number one receiver if they would buckle down.
- 58:22Speaker 1: But right now they just have him running them little
- 58:24Speaker 1: routes where they can just hook out. He's not even
- 58:27Speaker 1: running real routes like that. Geez. We'll be back with
- 58:31Speaker 1: more to Sports Shot Show right after this world Why
- 58:36Speaker 1: shot Shot Shot, Don't shot? Mac Tin with the dog

- 59:41Speaker 24: what texting while driving is like. Your human brain only
- 59:44Speaker 24: has the capacity to focus on one thing at a time,
- 59:46Speaker 24: So when you're behind the wheel, give driving your undivided attention.

- 1:00:03Speaker 25: another is important, and most people would step up for
- 1:00:06Speaker 25: a neighbor going through a tough time. Most people around
- 1:00:09Speaker 25: here help out friends and family when they need it.
- 1:00:12Speaker 25: But the funny thing is most of us won't work
- 1:00:14Speaker 25: for help when we need it. Talk to someone if
- 1:00:17Speaker 25: you're struggling with mental health, because most people out here

- 1:00:45Speaker 4: Sure broadcasting live and it led her to a jab
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: of this. This is the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: You Meg Megan, do me up?
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: Can you win me up?
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: Get you come to fund?
- 1:01:02Speaker 8: Comes comes on?
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I'm do it again. I'm gonna go on the way.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Sport Shock Show. I'm the Sport
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Shock Wayne gain Tag, Good morning to you. We are
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: here live on this Monday, Big Kenny comanch you, Greg
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Bad producer. Two Monday night games we talked about Monday
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: night first at seven Bucks Detroit at ten. At least
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: they're in a sequence you can watch both. Some nights
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: they have one at seven and the other one at eight,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: so they put you back into that kind of Sunday
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: where you can't really catch up. But uh, those two
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: are tonight. We're celebrating Showy Tiny's accomplishment and I'm doing
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: that and really in protests of how we have moved
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: in our society. Tragedy and infamous stuff. We love, you know,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: and that's why I said, how many days we went
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: on about the guy stealing his money a lot of
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: money series. But then he goes out and gives you
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: a performance of the ages like where no one can
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: remember ever seeing a performance in a night like that,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: and it really by the two days later.
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: And now sports Jack. I wanted to ask this question
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: because it's Monday, and this happened. It's Friday night, Friday night,
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: and I remember thinking yesterday that they kind of let
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: that comeing go really fast, and I wanted to ask
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: a question, but I didn't want to fan any flames.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: If his name was Maddics or Jackson or.
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: Bennett or Johnson instead of Otani, would he be getting
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: much more than he's already getting.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I don't think so. I think we we we just
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: we only want the negative and and he just did good.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Watch media. Now, that's why I think we're all getting tired.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: The media only brings you the negativity. They don't ever
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: tell you what's right about something, or if they do,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: it goes so fast. They quick to talk about, oh,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: you know they're eight and oh, and then they move
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: right on to the But when they won in seven,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: you could do a thirty minute show on one and seven.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: You think eight and oh, they you know they ain't. No,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: they flying on all cylinders and in other news. But
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: let let Georgia lose five to six.
- 1:03:50Speaker 9: Games, or let Kirby say all the time out we
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: talking about like you said, still talking about it.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: I think people are turning like, well, that's cause Kirby
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: was lying, and for a man to be in his position,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I think people were just taking back that he would
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: go that far to lie like that. You think the
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Asian market is showing on Tony some love over there, No,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I think that you're trying to bully me out of
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: a conversation that you brought up. I didn't bring up Kirby.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I will you sit there and tried to make it
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: seem like people was criticizing Kirby wrong. Kirby lied, and
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: he set a small standard for what people felt like
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: was a huge job, and he showed his power. He
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: went down there and argued with a referee that he
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: was clapping his hands when he clearly was calling a
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: time out. Now, I'm not against it, coach, but you
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: keep acting like we on some kind of honor system
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: and you sitting here doing this and then you get
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: down there to the fIF.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: That church.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: It's the church Platt when you do it like the
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: so I just believe that we're so uh, we're so
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: tainted that only the negative story gets continued because of
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: the the young man who robbed and robbed him again.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Friday night, they kept talking about but do.
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: You think it like it's uh, I guess if it's
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: more of trying to like ho hum this performance, uh
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: like like it's something that we that, oh, yeah, this
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: is something he does, like we've never seen this. And
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: if the comp if the comparison is Babe Ruth, do
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: y'all know anybody actually watched Babe Ruth play that's living
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: right now that watched because you had to do it live.
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: You've never seen Babe Ruth for the first part.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Of his career. You had to watch him live because
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: they didn't have TV. They have TV in nineteen twenty one,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: they barely had.
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: They barely had moving they barely could. They were still
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: drawing images of battles on canvas. Most of that stuff
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: they went back and put sound. Yeah they didn't even
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: have sound, but showy toney.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: But that was a don't don't cover that curby thing up.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: That was first of all, that was a touchdown and
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not saying those are the players that
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: lost the game. I don't go with that. To me,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: calls or if it was the last call of the game,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: then yeah, but if you got time to make up
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: for it, then that's what you got to overcome the officials.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: But that was the rule says that if the ball
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: crosses the goal line, it's a touchdown. It was a
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: touchdown in all the rest of the games yesterday. And
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: then just to see Kirby run down there knowing but
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: hook a crook that if you get away, Kirby, That's
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I don't have no animosity. Oh man,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: we lost the game called they gave Kirby. Now what
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: they're gonna do. And to finish that, Travis hunters, Like
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I was trying to show you something like cornerbacks. They
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: won't change the side of the field. So if he's
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: on the right corner, he's the right corner, he don't
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: he doesn't go across the field. Some guys won't change
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: that thing that side. They just won't, And I just
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: wish they were just I think Travis is a huge star.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: I think to me, it's harder to find a corner
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: than it is a receiver. But if you Jacksonville, you
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: do have to find a top rated receiver for your
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: quarterback because you haven't seen to being able to figure
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: that out.
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: We we we said with Travis that we could agree
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: that as far as the Jags are concerned, it's great
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: marketing that he played on both sides of the ball.
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: Do you think that at this stage of his career,
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: rookie in the NFL, Heisman Trophy winner, first pick, all
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: of that stuff. A lot of that is ego, Man,
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: I can do this. Maybe year three four, he'll be
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: on something. I need to make one decision and get
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: on and then I take a lot of it.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why it is like he wants to, he wants,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: he wants to want to And that's why I said,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: you have to go back to the meetings. Did did
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: he did Jacksonville part of their sale technique because even
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: though you have the power draft, you also want a
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: player to come there wanting to come. Yes, and the
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Jags already are not necessarily a city or a team
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: where guys are and not that he could he would
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: opt out, but you want a person to come there
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: with excited excuse he has to be there because a
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: lot of eyes are going to go on him. But
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: I think after this year, uh, they probably will try
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: to course correct and if they want to do a
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: dual thing, I think it needs to be one hundred
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: percent defense, similar to what Dion did. And Dion always
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: thought he you know, could do both. But it's when
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: you're gonna put if you look at it, he really
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: only they put it. There were certain plays he would
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: be received. It wouldn't be the whole game. It wouldn't
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: be the whole game. And Travis Hunter is something point.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Also before their last game, not yesterday, the Sunday before
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: he got baptized, like an hour before the game. Did
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: did any of you see that? I thought I saw
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: you got baptized. It was very interesting that he would
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: pick that moment.
- 1:09:34Speaker 11: Well.
- 1:09:34Speaker 9: I know they showed something about him and a lady
- 1:09:37Speaker 9: that he had a flight with, uh and he bought
- 1:09:40Speaker 9: her to the game. I know that made big news
- 1:09:42Speaker 9: that he was on the plane ride somewhere in this
- 1:09:46Speaker 9: lady he met her on the plane and he bought
- 1:09:48Speaker 9: her to the game or whatever.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Unless she was.
- 1:09:53Speaker 6: Now was it was so a woman who didn't know
- 1:09:56Speaker 6: who he was, but he was signing autographs and and
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: they had a conversation and she found out and then
- 1:10:03Speaker 6: he brought her to the game.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Got her a ticket or whatever. Yeah. So but something
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: I thought it said, like right before the game, I
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: don't know if he was at the facility.
- 1:10:13Speaker 5: Or and they had somebody available. He bought his own person. Yeah,
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: it was a church in Jacksonville. Yeah, it was ours
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: before the game.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Yeah, when there, you know, because you always he is
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: from that that will house of social media and he
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: is a gen z kid, so he has it honest sleep.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: But it was a kind of odd that you would
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: wake up because.
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: Because we we we're from an era where that's a
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: whole day activity. Today I'm finna go turn my life
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: over the crisis, Finn be a different me. So, you know,
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: there's usually something before and then there's something during.
- 1:10:58Speaker 10: And so too.
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: You know, oh man for the game, I'm gonna get
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: baptized real quick. Right, It just stood out you could
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: have done it. I'm saying, Yeah, BJ walking in with
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: his his hot hands, with his hot pants and peppermint stripes,
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: and Travis on some bee with y'all a minute, he
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: got a choir row bone. But you know you you
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: never know when the Lord call you, you go. I
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: suppose you know, That's what I'm saying. It don't make
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: no difference, No I'm saying. I'm saying, I suppose in
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: that some people, some people feel the need to go
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: and would go. Well, I'll wait till Sunday. He felt
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: the need to go right now because it was too
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: powerful for him to put off.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: So we can't put it off to after the game.
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: I done a whole difference, a whole different day, a
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: whole different day.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: But you know we'll be back. Well a Sports Shock
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: show right after this.
- 1:12:06Speaker 23: Tat the homies in a little and now let me
- 1:12:08Speaker 23: tell a little story about the places that I've been
- 1:12:11Speaker 23: to and the things that I've been through, like fighting
- 1:12:13Speaker 23: this shootouts and banging that trip because I.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Came out when he hit me.
- 1:12:17Speaker 23: Check it.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: Don't go away.
- 1:12:20Speaker 10: Word of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dandius coming
- 1:12:23Speaker 10: up next.

- 1:17:12Speaker 1: several concerts that have been canceled around the country. Yes, Chicago,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: he's twenty six years old. Evander holy Field is sixty three.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Floyd Mayweather Senior is seventy three. The man who basically
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: has taken over the world with all of his influence
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: with Marvel. How do you say John's last name? Bavreau
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: is fifty nine years old. If you watch it, any
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: of those Marvel movies over the last fifteen years, he's
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: either acting in it.
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: Producing or directing them. He does all three, all of
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: them he does. And he plays Happy Happy. You would
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: think that he would give himself a meteor role in
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: his films, but he plays Tony Stark's assistant, Happy Yeah,
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: and he runs.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: All of it, runs all of Marvel. Fifty nine years old.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Rebecca Ferguson is forty two. You might know her from
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: the Dune series. She plays the mother in the New
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Dune series. Ember rolls forty two. Doja Cat is thirty
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: and Kim Kardashian is forty five years of age. Is
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Kim forty five years old? Big Kenny, It's been a
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: long time. I didn't right too, So where we're rolling today?
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: I get two. No, I didn't say that, I sir.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Somebody said too, that was the bad producer. I don't
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I heard too, that's not right. No,
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: just one? Uh Kim, k yeah, yeah really, but you
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: know what, I'm so disappointed. I know I know that's
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: a very disappointing selection.
- 1:19:07Speaker 17: It was.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: It has no freshness or newness at all at all
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: or different. It was a crowd favor and everything is built.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: It's not even real at all, I mean at all.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: I had some marketing. It's a marketing strategy.
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: It's it's all merchandising ploy Yes, all, I'm trying to
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: get in on that skims money. I'm trying to know,
- 1:19:34Speaker 5: it's a clock in, I'm going to work. I'm trying
- 1:19:37Speaker 5: to earn. That's so like, I know, but I'm saying,
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: be on the lookout for the tape and the book
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: and the line. But that doesn't women, but I've seen that,
- 1:19:50Speaker 5: I know, I know, but I haven't collected the check.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Yeah, but you, but you don't fall into nothing. It's
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: nothing though. We're gonna run it back years ago. I'm
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: a tramp. It's a new it's a new show out
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: called doc. Yeah, it's just house with a female lead. Yeah,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: it's like I seen I've seen this house with amnesia. Yeah,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: I was gonna say, that's the only how can we
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: make the house different? Well, and even in house, he
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: had a debilitating disease issue with his leg, so we're
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: just gonna give her amnesia. But it's the same show.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: And that's why with the Kim caves. Like when I
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: wrote all this down, I'm like, I just cat my
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: prayer was kamala anything, but it was either a amber.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: I did it because it was expected.
- 1:20:42Speaker 6: Yes, as Elder Casey has said on in the chat,
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: stale bread bread, but I'm saying it's the Lulla mold.
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: But it's the loaf everyone's talking about. But but you
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: do not get any credit bread underbreak. It was a
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: time where you got for Kim k for that. I'm
- 1:21:05Speaker 5: just trying to cast the check now.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: It's just, you know, because a lot of the money
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: is in finding something new, new and fresh.
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: Yes, yes, I'm just you know, hows do it. I'm
- 1:21:18Speaker 5: just getting my exit strategy money together. I'm just getting
- 1:21:23Speaker 5: my exit money together. I'm going to get out the
- 1:21:25Speaker 5: game a big robbery. And it just shows you where
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: humans are right now. As I said, people are into crime.
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: As though if crime is an occupation, you almost should
- 1:21:35Speaker 5: have to pay union taxes. Yeah, union dudes on your.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Crime on crime now. Out in Lake County, California, close
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: to San Francisco, Robert Lopez arrested Legos. He was running
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: a Lego Legos scheme where he was even mandating or
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: associating with people who he would have target and go
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: out and steal different Lego sets and buy them at
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: a discount price, and then he would sell them to
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: other people who wanted Lego sets at a higher price.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: They count, you know, hundreds of thousands of dollars worth
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: of Lego sets.
- 1:22:23Speaker 5: He was dismantling them and building like the ones that
- 1:22:27Speaker 5: were collectors items. He had all of the individual pieces,
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: so he was building the collector's items and then selling
- 1:22:35Speaker 5: them so they weren't like original collector's items. They were forgeries.
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: And they caught him in his home with just rooms
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: full of stolen Legos and Lego boxes and who knew
- 1:22:48Speaker 5: who knew Lego sets, and for as much as one
- 1:22:50Speaker 5: thousand dollars.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: And all I ever say is kind of imagine the
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: call to your mama before you commit the crime. Think
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: about how mama is going to accept nine years. And
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: I'm talking about especially those out there that's had a
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: decent to good mother. Some people have, you know, moms,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: it wasn't really there, But I'm talking about that idea
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: that your mom was a good mom and you having
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: to call her do eight years? Twelve years? Lego? The
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: lego is that cod wear for drugs? Baby? No, she
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: most likely is not coming to visit the whole time
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: you and you might not be able to come back out.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: How you even get time for lego? How you even
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: get time for lego? We'll be back sports Jog children
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: after this? You mean the toy?
- 1:23:55Speaker 10: Don't go awayne board of the sports Josh Hill with
- 1:23:58Speaker 10: Wayne Dandy is coming up now.
- 1:24:01Speaker 27: When you're high, you feel different, You think different, to
- 1:24:05Speaker 27: talk different, to draw different, you listen to music different.
- 1:24:09Speaker 27: But you probably knew that. The problem is you also
- 1:24:12Speaker 27: drive different, and not in a good way. That's why
- 1:24:16Speaker 27: driving high is illegal everywhere. So if you're high, just
- 1:24:20Speaker 27: don't drive. Make a plan to get a sober ride
- 1:24:23Speaker 27: because if you feel different, you drive different. Brought to
- 1:24:27Speaker 27: you by Nitza and the ad Council.
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: Don't act like that, don't wear that.
- 1:24:34Speaker 15: Don't think that.
- 1:24:35Speaker 12: I've heard everything you tell yourself every time you feel different,

- 1:26:17Speaker 1: Welcome back to the spoy Shock Show. I'm thispy Shock
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: wing Candy. Good morning to you out there. The Saints
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: I lost to the Bears twenty six fourteen yesterday the
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: who that nation falling?
- 1:26:32Speaker 26: Uh?
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: And you know the Saints was going to struggle this
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: year because they really don't have the direction of a quarterback.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: You know, I'm not saying that you quarterback will solve
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: all your problems. But Spencer Rattler, I think would tell
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: you that he's a number two guy. He would tell
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: you that. He would tell you that, Yeah, thank the
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: number two guy. I've been around. I realize I'm a
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: number two guy. Spence, get in there. Hey, hey, hold on,
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: I'm a number two I'm a great number two guy. Yeah,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: I can get you. If old boy need a week off,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: I'm the number one, number two guy. That's what Mac
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: Jones is showing him right now. The Browns beating the Dolphins.
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: The Dolphins have a lot of issues. Is more of
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: the combination between the head coach and Tua. One of
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: you have to be an alpha and right now you
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: have two betas simple as that. For me, when you
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: talk about the leadership, I think it starts with the
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: mindset of how things are going to get done. Both
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: of them have a very relaxed disposition of how the
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: plan should be executed. A little cute see ways McDaniel,
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: that's his last name, right. Yes, he seems to be
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: so lost into his game plan that he I don't
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: know who's the defensive coordinator, but hopefully he's used a
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: former head coach. So sometimes that's what you need. So
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: even if he was fixing this, whoever to coordinate the
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: defensive coordinator is he needs to be a former head coach,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: So that it's kind of like Kansas City. Andy Reid
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: doesn't want anything to do with the defense. I'm not
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: gonna come down there to that area. Have you ever
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: seen Andy Reid talk to a defensive player?
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: Now, now you talk to I see him talked to
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahones, two pp speaks directly. He tho
- 1:28:40Speaker 5: the only people I've seen him talk directly to. Everything
- 1:28:42Speaker 5: else goes into the microphone and gets discemblered.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: They come off the field. He doesn't even walk down
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: there to greet him. Now, when they show you a
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: picture of whoever is managing the defense, they always go
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: to the decordinator. They don't show Andy standing by him
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: or any of that, giving him any advice about any
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: of that. That's what McDaniel needs, and because certain coaches,
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: you know, they are just like that. You have to
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: find you a head coach for the defense. I figured,
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: so you can just be completely on the other side.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: Uh So, right now, him and Tua just not clicking
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: and the Dolphins are going nowhere.
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: I had a question like with last week with Tua
- 1:29:30Speaker 6: saying that guys weren't showing up to the players only
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: meetings and all that, and it seemed like that's some
- 1:29:37Speaker 6: stuff that should not have been in public. But going
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: into next year, do you see what's the pot what
- 1:29:49Speaker 6: what percentage would you give the chance that neither Wan like,
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: neither Mike mc daniel nor Tua are on the Dolphins
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: next year.
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: I would imagine that Mike will be let go because
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: some people are just good coordinators, they're not good head coach.
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: It's a different mindset. And he'll get a job instantly
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: because he I think he has a good offense.
- 1:30:13Speaker 17: He just.
- 1:30:15Speaker 9: You want me to go down here and talk to this,
- 1:30:16Speaker 9: I'm not I don't do that. Prime example too. Now
- 1:30:20Speaker 9: I'm gonna say chan Gaily norv Turner. It's like what
- 1:30:24Speaker 9: you were saying, great offensive coordinators, but when they got
- 1:30:27Speaker 9: the chance to be head coaches, they never really panned
- 1:30:30Speaker 9: out now, and a lot of people don't see that.
- 1:30:32Speaker 9: I mean, and I didn't know he was at supposed
- 1:30:36Speaker 9: to this great offensive mind. But you can tell that
- 1:30:40Speaker 9: he has no I mean, he has no control of
- 1:30:42Speaker 9: the team, and the team is out of control. Just
- 1:30:45Speaker 9: how Tyreek Hill was acting.
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: Well, he can tell you he's a player's coach, and
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: a lot of times player of coaches can get taken
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: advantage of because of who they bring in. And a
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: lot of guys hide under that sheep they're wolves and
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: they put on that sheep clothes like I'm gonna be
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: a good boy until I get down here, and then
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: the coach can't control them. And then Tua is saying
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: that on the mic because that's the only way he
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: can get those guys attention, because if he takes that
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: to the locker room. He was completely wrong for saying
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: that he should addressed that on the night they were late.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: But in those situations, you got to be ready to fight,
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: and he ain't ready for the smoke. You've got to
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: be ready to fight, or you got to have the
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: allegiance of somebody when those old linemen a tight end
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: is willing to stand in for you when the fight
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: breaks out because I called them out, where were you?
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: You're not trying hard enough?
- 1:31:44Speaker 14: Man?
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: You what? And then I bet you won't before you
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: know it, you won't. I bet you. I will bet
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: you you lost your money. Yeah, so he doesn't have
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: that kind of and he used the wrong timing to
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: do that. So that should have been at the meeting
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: that they came in late. You should have stood up
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: and as coach to leave to talk about where our
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: heads are and call him out without even saying his name,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: because everybody saw the door open. Because once the door closed,
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: that means you're late. So we all saw the door open.
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: So when I get up and say, hey man, we
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: got to be here on time, I don't have to
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: say your name because we just all who's just walked
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: in the door, like dude, And remember you got a
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: room full of guys that now, But I might have
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: solured a relationship because now he don't got offended that
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: I took the money moment to point him out. But
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: last week I didn't do that to Jazzy when he
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: walked in. While you wait, just when I do it.
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: Now we in the locker room. Anything might happen in practice,
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: But y'all brought the cameras in so it's protection. But
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: there was no cameras that practice. It got real tents
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: to jazzy jazz. You want to know why you.
- 1:33:10Speaker 9: Wouldn't you think that he was still getting it by
- 1:33:13Speaker 9: him even bringing it to the podium like that.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: Somebody will still walk up to him and want to
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: check him. No, because now he's done it into almost
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: it's hr involve you're going there and hit it. Now
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: you could get arristed because it was premeditated and all that.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: He said, I'm gonna go ahead, And but they just
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: seem to be a bad combination.
- 1:33:37Speaker 5: Wow, we we talk about bad combinations and a lot
- 1:33:41Speaker 5: of times people go, it's not the right chemistry things
- 1:33:45Speaker 5: like that. But sometimes the ingredient gonna do just what
- 1:33:48Speaker 5: the ingredient do without vinegar back and so it ain't
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: gonna fizz. You put vinegar on salt and there's no
- 1:33:57Speaker 5: fizz at all. It's just gonna be salt. It's that
- 1:34:00Speaker 5: Tua because you said before you never saw him as
- 1:34:02Speaker 5: an NFL quarterback? Is it just that Mike McDaniels trying
- 1:34:06Speaker 5: to squeeze NFL quarterback out of what was just an awesome,
- 1:34:11Speaker 5: great college quarterback.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: Yes, it's it's the idea that he fits that kind
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: of mold. It's it's like putting Sean Payton and Drew
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: Brees together, but they were two sharks. Drew Brees the
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: kind of guy that he'll take the al but he's
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: gonna call you out. He was that kind of you know,
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: he gonna lose the swinging match. He know, he might
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: not be liked in the locker, right, but he was Okay,
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: Sehn Payton is the same way he come from that
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: big tuna. Yeah kind of. But you take a guy
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: like McDaniel's, is it Mike McDaniels right, Yes, yes, he
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: just doesn't have that He needs a head coach to
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: take care of those kind of issues as simple as that.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: With him, just a bad combination. Sadly, news is coming,
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: as we know, shocking news in a sense just based
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: on the age. We don't really have a lot of
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: information on how former buccaneer and raider Doug Martin has
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: passed away. The media is instantly trying to throw the
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: part of the police struggle, but it's other things that
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: they responded to a call about a break in Saturday
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: in the neighborhood near the Oakland Zoo. So they're not
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: saying the cops did anything. Maybe Doug was on something.
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: We have no clue. They just quickly put the struggle part.
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: But maybe Dave was struggling because I got to get
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: you off of this broken glass, like what is it?
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: Just hold up before you villify and started holding another storyline.
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: If he was on something, then we would have had
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: to struggle to get him under control. But didn't seem
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: like it was a gun or they choked him. And
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: we'll find out. But he's passed away at the age
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: of thirty six years old. He was all pro there
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: one year with the Bucks. I forget what the college did.
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: He go to Boise State. Boise State, but Doug Martin
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: and I thought at first I was thinking maybe he
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: had taken his own life, and then they said that
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: he was. I don't know if he was from Oakland
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: or what he was doing over in that area of
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: LA I believe, but it's one of those stories. We're
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: gonna have to wait till a little more information comes
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: out to even be able to weigh in on it.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: But loss of life at thirty six is always sad.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Because you really are the comanche. Greg is only one
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: up here on the panel that if he passed away,
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: people will say he died young. The other three of
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: us they would just say we died unexpectedly. That's how.
- 1:37:10Speaker 5: That's what when once you get over fifty? Is it unexpected?
- 1:37:13Speaker 5: Is unexpected?
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: Okay? Okay? Because I was gonna say.
- 1:37:17Speaker 5: Still, I kind of feel like people would be like, oh,
- 1:37:20Speaker 5: I kind of saw that coming, but it's unexpected.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, just unexpected, which can't be fifty eight. People
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: be like, young man, he was young.
- 1:37:31Speaker 5: But usually when you die, that's the only time they
- 1:37:33Speaker 5: say fifty eighty young man, here's a young dude. Any
- 1:37:36Speaker 5: other time you you at the club with your shirt off,
- 1:37:41Speaker 5: ought to go home. We'll be back more to a

- 1:38:46Speaker 21: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:38:49Speaker 21: It's a powerful opioate, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 1:38:53Speaker 21: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit

- 1:40:43Speaker 3: sing even very cany Welcome back to this boy Shock Show.
- 1:40:48Speaker 3: I'm this boy Shock Wayne Gandy. We are live here.
- 1:40:52Speaker 1: Monday, good weekend of sports all around. A big shout
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: out to Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech. It's the first time
- 1:41:05Speaker 1: in about one hundred years they've both been in the
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: top ten at the same time in college football. And
- 1:41:10Speaker 1: Indiana University number two. Yeah, I said. Indiana number two
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: in college football behind Ohio State is an interesting now
- 1:41:19Speaker 1: that it's twelve game, it is really shaping up. Alabama
- 1:41:22Speaker 1: coming on strong after their first loss, and all you
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: want to fire the coach because they lost to Florida State.
- 1:41:31Speaker 1: I still don't get this reactionary. All right, you need
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: them to turn your mic off for a second. You're good,
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: twittlet is no one to turn it back in. I
- 1:41:42Speaker 1: wanted to choke over there. Get your little sip or something.
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: Now there you go, there you go. Oh, you don't
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: drunk up a whole bunch. Don't don't get unexpected on us. Okay,
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: sugar free twists a red bull something from love a
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: Chicken biscuit. I mean, oh, you brought your trash in
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: here to throw it away. So you're saying you had
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: that in the car and it was never anything in
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: it and you decided he was gonna throw it away. Now,
- 1:42:14Speaker 1: focus on your helm. Leave your dollar on the thing
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: over there for the water. Put a dollar right there
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: on the air of my hoking machine. You can cash well,
- 1:42:25Speaker 1: don't have cash out. He tried, though he tried, he
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: was gonna go with that. When it sounds it sounds yeah,
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: it sounds current and say it. H Kansas City completely
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: dominated the Raiders yesterday. I mean thirty one the zero.
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: Pete Carroll and this team had nothing to offer. The
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: Chiefs side. They got RhI Rice back, Hollywood Brown. They
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: look very loaded offensively. I'm still that defense is still
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: shaking for me. But yesterday with the Raiders, Geno Smith,
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: it seemed like him and Pete Carroll might have to
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: part ways after the season. But we will see how
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: this goes. For the Raiders. It is their first time
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: in there, Pete Carroll's first year there, so you have
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: to give people a little room to see how this goes.
- 1:43:17Speaker 5: But our resident Raiders fan from New York asked, when
- 1:43:25Speaker 5: we were saying that the quarterbacks maybe need a year
- 1:43:28Speaker 5: to develop, how did that explain Geno smell because he's
- 1:43:32Speaker 5: out there, and.
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: How does that explain? Yeah, how does that? What happened
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: with him? How come he dodn'e hadn't seemed to well,
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: he know, played some solid ball, played football with the
- 1:43:42Speaker 1: last couple of years in Seattle, and you moved to
- 1:43:45Speaker 1: a new place and you're trying to get yourself back together.
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: Let's see what Gino did yesterday. It was ten or sixteen,
- 1:43:53Speaker 1: so they didn't throw the ball much for him. Sixty
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: seven yards, no touchdown, denty It looked like they didn't
- 1:44:03Speaker 1: have the ball a lot. Yeah, if I look at
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: the player possession, they only had They threw the ball
- 1:44:13Speaker 1: eighteen times as a team, and they had eleven that's
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: twenty nine offensive plays if I have this right. Yeah,
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: they weren't on the field. That's what I'm saying. I
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: was getting rushed. If you didn't only ran that's usually
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: a half of football, you run twenty nine to thirty
- 1:44:32Speaker 1: five plays and a half. They only ran twenty nine
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: plays in a game. A game, but they were not
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: on the field long. So, Gina, that's a problem. That's
- 1:44:41Speaker 1: a problem right there. And it's less than eighteen minutes.
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah, hey yeah, yeah, that's a problem. That's the
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: biggest problem right there. The detense couldn't get off the field.
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: That's nothing right there. Let's see. Let me see what
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: the Chiefs had because Gino got some weapons. Yeah, the
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: Chiefs had seventy seventy seven plays. We had the ball
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: all day. Got to get off the field, Raiders in
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: that situation, the Raiders now two and five. The Chiefs
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: are coming on slowly at four and three. What else
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: do we have? Minnesota losing to the Eagles, who you know,
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: the public demanded that the Eagles win a game throwing.
- 1:45:22Speaker 1: It's so amazing that you want to actually win in
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: a certain fashion instead of just winning. So winning running
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: and slow and boring is not satisfying to the Fanes.
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: So they found their aerial attack, and I guess to
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: prove to everybody we can throw the ball. So the
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: two receivers caught some balls.
- 1:45:48Speaker 6: It is really for like, okay, so aj Brown, will
- 1:45:52Speaker 6: we don't have to like ask those questions or or
- 1:45:56Speaker 6: wonder like how frustrated he is that he's not getting
- 1:45:59Speaker 6: the ball enough. And Devontae Smith, who's in the same
- 1:46:04Speaker 6: kind of saying or doing or acting in the same
- 1:46:07Speaker 6: way that they're not getting the ball enough. Was this
- 1:46:12Speaker 6: game was like, Okay, well, we don't have to hear
- 1:46:14Speaker 6: about that. We don't have to talk about that for
- 1:46:15Speaker 6: at least a week. But I thought football was the
- 1:46:19Speaker 6: ultimate team sport. Some days the defense is going to
- 1:46:23Speaker 6: win a game. Some days the offense is going to
- 1:46:24Speaker 6: win a game. Some days the defensive line dominated, some
- 1:46:30Speaker 6: days the coverage. Sometimes offensively. These two or three games
- 1:46:35Speaker 6: we ran the ball well. Then there was two or
- 1:46:39Speaker 6: three games we passed the ball well. Like I thought
- 1:46:43Speaker 6: it went like that. I didn't know it was a
- 1:46:45Speaker 6: demand each and every time that we win in this style.
- 1:46:50Speaker 6: To me, those are the losing team that's always trying
- 1:46:53Speaker 6: to win in a certain way instead of just winning
- 1:46:56Speaker 6: the game. It's like what we were talking about before,
- 1:47:00Speaker 6: or like the guy who has two catches and they
- 1:47:03Speaker 6: win the game is upset. But if he had nine
- 1:47:06Speaker 6: for one hundred and thirty yards and three touchdowns but
- 1:47:10Speaker 6: you lose, it's like, well, I still got mine, Okay.
- 1:47:17Speaker 6: I thought the ultimate thing was about winning or if
- 1:47:21Speaker 6: they win and he has those big numbers, See, we'll
- 1:47:24Speaker 6: win when you do that.
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: Okay, So what about when we lose? I still got bying. Okay,
- 1:47:30Speaker 1: So we didn't lose because we didn't run the ball right.
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: And the coach who seemed like they must be Daniel Dimes.
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: Maybe it was the Giants, maybe it was the scheme,
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: but maybe as I was talking about when the show started,
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: you finally hitting your scride. You're finally understanding what the
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: league is about. It took you a game slowed down
- 1:47:59Speaker 1: a little bit to figure out what is going on
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: and how to read this. And he's just playing great football.
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: Thirty eight to twenty for the Colts on the road,
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: beat the Chargers and we'll be back. The more the
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: Sports Jock Show, what's wrong? The ugly uniforms a head
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: on yesterday the Charger you looked like the Savannah bananas.
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: But it would be back right after this.
- 1:48:24Speaker 2: Past We should you should think about it.
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: Take a second, matter of fact, you should.
- 1:48:30Speaker 15: Take before being before the skateboard.

- 1:50:21Speaker 22: When we put a spin on life and sports and

- 1:50:35Speaker 1: This shouldn't do tray?
- 1:50:37Speaker 6: Hey man, I was thinking I ain't sick.
- 1:50:40Speaker 1: Now check it out.
- 1:50:42Speaker 16: Put this on it all yours out there because.
- 1:50:48Speaker 26: And we still smokes.
- 1:50:49Speaker 1: What Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the
- 1:50:57Speaker 1: Sports Shock Wayne Gate. I always want when they beep
- 1:51:00Speaker 1: out words, why why why weep out the second part
- 1:51:05Speaker 1: when the first part you just said it. So you
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: basically said the word just get off my mother, and
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: you beat the next word. If to me, if you
- 1:51:18Speaker 1: want to beat, shouldn't just be the whole mother? And
- 1:51:21Speaker 1: the second part get off my bep beep. Interesting, isn't it.
- 1:51:29Speaker 5: Yeah? You know we try and give you. It won't
- 1:51:32Speaker 5: be so much yet, try to give you as much
- 1:51:34Speaker 5: as we can give you without being fine. You gotta
- 1:51:37Speaker 5: go right up to the line. Yeah.
- 1:51:39Speaker 1: Big shout out to Curry College's running back monte Quinn
- 1:51:44Speaker 1: in a game versus Nickels, just like, show you a
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: tonny something. I've read about this story, so I had
- 1:51:52Speaker 1: to try to picture it. But monte Quinn ran for
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: five hundred and twenty two yards and seven touchdown twenty
- 1:52:04Speaker 1: two yards in one game. He was touchdowns. He was
- 1:52:10Speaker 1: playing by himself one game against Nichols Saturday, five hundred
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: and twenty two yards. Everybody should be seven touchdowns. Everybody
- 1:52:21Speaker 1: should have walked. It was only only twenty carries. Oh
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: in twenty carry Oh, I don't see the carries that
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: I saw.
- 1:52:27Speaker 5: On twenty carries, so you se averaging twenty everybody on
- 1:52:32Speaker 5: defense and Nicchols is on suicide line.
- 1:52:34Speaker 1: I know everybody in the team, Coaches, everybody should.
- 1:52:37Speaker 5: Have had They ought to have some counseling on on
- 1:52:40Speaker 5: campus today to help people deal with the travel.
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: And for you out there, that would be a great
- 1:52:45Speaker 1: stat for a three game period for a running back
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: in three games to run for five hundred and twenty
- 1:52:54Speaker 1: two yards and seven touchdowns, we would start the broadcast
- 1:53:00Speaker 1: as what he's on fire, Yes, talking about somebody that's
- 1:53:03Speaker 1: having a big year in these last three games. He's
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: run for five hundred and twenty two yards and seven touchdowns.
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: He did that last week. I need some proof and
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: a drug test somebody. And you know, I'm not even
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: in favor of a drug test like that, you know
- 1:53:19Speaker 1: what I mean. I kind of figure if you can
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: get away with it, you against me.
- 1:53:24Speaker 5: But in this situation, man, just to help the other
- 1:53:26Speaker 5: team out, just to make Nichols feel like it might
- 1:53:29Speaker 5: be not them.
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: The NBA season kicks off this week. Anything you guys
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: looking forward to with this new NBA season. They gave
- 1:53:39Speaker 1: Kevin Durant new contract. Houston? Did they start tomorrow night?
- 1:53:44Speaker 1: Houston versus OKC and Golden State without Golden State against
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: the Lakers. Lakers is going to be without Lebron here
- 1:53:53Speaker 1: at least for probably another week or two. We'll see
- 1:53:56Speaker 1: when he decides to come back, which is kind of
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: a good thing. I think I think this was a
- 1:54:02Speaker 1: planned I can believe it's Sciatica is acting up though
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: forty years old, all that trying to do. And I
- 1:54:11Speaker 1: can also believe that he's trying to cut some of
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: his season.
- 1:54:15Speaker 5: Because I rearranged some furniture in that Sciatica go acting up.
- 1:54:19Speaker 5: I can't imagine playing what eighty games something like that.
- 1:54:22Speaker 5: This is what I want to ask though, as the
- 1:54:24Speaker 5: NBA addressed completely the issue of players, especially the star players,
- 1:54:31Speaker 5: with that load management, No, my body, I ain't gonna
- 1:54:35Speaker 5: play the night stuff.
- 1:54:36Speaker 1: I think they would rather do it like Lebron's doing it.
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: Just tell me you're gonna be out for a week
- 1:54:40Speaker 1: or two instead of game the game, right, I think
- 1:54:44Speaker 1: that's where the fans get frustrated. So even like now,
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: if you got some Laker tickets and the only reason
- 1:54:52Speaker 1: you go is because Lebron, you can all have already
- 1:54:55Speaker 1: sold them by now, because he gave you two weeks notice,
- 1:54:59Speaker 1: I'm not gonna he was supposed to come to your town,
- 1:55:02Speaker 1: and that frame work of whatever. You know, he was
- 1:55:05Speaker 1: basically saying he would be out like a month. You
- 1:55:07Speaker 1: can go ahead, and and I think it's but that
- 1:55:10Speaker 1: game the game. I thought you was coming here Wednesday,
- 1:55:14Speaker 1: and it's Monday. When he got the new shoes and
- 1:55:18Speaker 1: all that. Now I can skip that process. So to me,
- 1:55:23Speaker 1: it's not so much as you're out, it's that I
- 1:55:26Speaker 1: can't give her the tickets or I shouldn't have paid
- 1:55:29Speaker 1: for the tickets. You know, I don't need the twenty
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: five hundred dollars tickets. If the people that you don't want,
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: if you because some people only go for that. Yes,
- 1:55:40Speaker 1: now there's some people the Laker, they are Laker fans.
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: They don't you know, you take the lineup like it comes.
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: But some people are only driving all the way places
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: like Birmingham and places like that to see Savannah to
- 1:55:53Speaker 1: watch these games. So you don't want to be on
- 1:55:54Speaker 1: the hook. If I really already know, I don't even
- 1:55:57Speaker 1: need to have to go to Atlanta for that game.
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: So speaking of I think the Hawks, I think we're
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: gonna be all right. I don't know, depend on how healthy. Yeah,
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: that was gonna that was my big thing. I mean
- 1:56:13Speaker 1: it's a nice little pickup. But ports Inga's has not
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: physically played a whole season since when.
- 1:56:22Speaker 5: Rookie but eight years ago, nine well this is leven
- 1:56:25Speaker 5: seas well, nine ten years. Yeah, so it's a nice
- 1:56:28Speaker 5: little piece to put in there. I can't say that,
- 1:56:30Speaker 5: but he still doesn't play any defense. I've been watching him.
- 1:56:33Speaker 5: I actually got the snuck his song play when they
- 1:56:37Speaker 5: was in Memphis. I was, I was in Memphis.
- 1:56:41Speaker 14: I mean.
- 1:56:43Speaker 9: Either, well, that's what I said. We got, we got
- 1:56:45Speaker 9: some offense and then one thing. You and I talked
- 1:56:47Speaker 9: about that shooter. We missed Kevin Hurder like somebody you
- 1:56:50Speaker 9: could throw trade bail him out with one or two
- 1:56:52Speaker 9: on the shot clock. We do have Luke currently from
- 1:56:56Speaker 9: the Duke guy from Duke.
- 1:56:57Speaker 1: He's a he was at Memphis. He's a shoot.
- 1:57:00Speaker 9: So I mean, we tra ain't gonna passing the ball
- 1:57:02Speaker 9: for the last What I'm saying for two seconds, I'm
- 1:57:04Speaker 9: saying on the is this Lebron's last year?
- 1:57:09Speaker 23: No?
- 1:57:10Speaker 1: Yes, yes, No, he's still chasing stats.
- 1:57:14Speaker 6: No, he wants he wants the farewell tour.
- 1:57:16Speaker 1: Yeah, first announced consulting with that man and his greatness.
- 1:57:22Speaker 1: You're not chasing stats when you're the leading scorer on
- 1:57:25Speaker 1: your team. I'm talking about there's other stats that he
- 1:57:29Speaker 1: wants to. There is nothing about that man that says
- 1:57:32Speaker 1: that he's playing for stats. He's playing because Father Time
- 1:57:37Speaker 1: hasn't caught up with him completely. He shows up, show up,
- 1:57:43Speaker 1: he comes around. That's sciatica. At like it's coming up.
- 1:57:48Speaker 1: It's it's it's gaining on him. I'm saying in front
- 1:57:51Speaker 1: he sciatica. Is he come around and stay a little
- 1:57:55Speaker 1: bit father time. Don't just drive by the house no more.
- 1:57:58Speaker 1: He come and sit up on the poor a little
- 1:58:00Speaker 1: bit now. Because people don't Kareem ob due Jabbar played
- 1:58:03Speaker 1: that he was forty two, did he not? He did? Okay,
- 1:58:07Speaker 1: Lebron's would be forty in December. We didn't say Kareem
- 1:58:11Speaker 1: was chasing stats at forty two. He feels like he
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: could still play, still effective. He was still effective. He
- 1:58:18Speaker 1: wasn't out there like man that last year. You kind
- 1:58:21Speaker 1: of thought, okay, but I haven't watched Lebron. Lebron James
- 1:58:26Speaker 1: will still retire looking like oh okay, he did. He
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: still looks like a guy. He's still a legitimate starter. Yeah,
- 1:58:39Speaker 1: so that is insulting when you say that about labels
- 1:58:42Speaker 1: on people. But you didn't say that about Michael Jordan
- 1:58:49Speaker 1: going to the Wizards. He looked like a dude that
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: should retire in that uniform. It's taking him along. Well, yeah,
- 1:59:03Speaker 1: there you go. That's a fact that that's not a fashion.
- 1:59:08Speaker 1: And he looked bad. He looked bad. He looked on
- 1:59:11Speaker 1: some man. Why won't you quit? Bad? People saying that
- 1:59:15Speaker 1: out loud had like eight forty point games last season.
- 1:59:22Speaker 1: He still made second team All NBA and you're sitting
- 1:59:26Speaker 1: there talking about he was what's that other than I
- 1:59:28Speaker 1: can play? And they paying fifty million dollars. That's not
- 1:59:35Speaker 1: chasing stats. That's good business. And we are in the ocean.
- 1:59:45Speaker 1: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 1:59:49Speaker 22: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Junk
- 1:59:52Speaker 22: Show with Wade Candy.
- 2:00:19Speaker 1: When you Decided at Ocean gives some sports shok test
- 2:00:21Speaker 1: a minute to Vin. We'd like to thank you for
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: tuning in to today's show. You can go to Amazon Podcasts,
- 2:00:28Speaker 1: Apple Podcasts, Audible, Deezer, iHeartRadio, or Spotify and catch the replay.
- 2:00:34Speaker 1: Big Kenny command you, Greg Bad producer, thank you for
- 2:00:37Speaker 1: your contributions to today's show. I was gonna throw John Rocker,
- 2:00:43Speaker 1: the ex Braves pitcher, in for his American citizen driver
- 2:00:48Speaker 1: comment where he said, this should be a button that
- 2:00:51Speaker 1: you can push to make sure you're driving is an
- 2:00:53Speaker 1: American citizen because he doesn't want to ride from people
- 2:00:59Speaker 1: who were in camels last week. But from that last
- 2:01:05Speaker 1: statement of the bad producer, you want to get the
- 2:01:09Speaker 1: sports shop going. Just be hating on people for no
- 2:01:13Speaker 1: reason because you don't like them. You want to dim
- 2:01:17Speaker 1: their light. Your emotions carry you so high sometimes that
- 2:01:23Speaker 1: they blind you to the reality of the fact. Lebron
- 2:01:30Speaker 1: James is better than everybody that plays for the Hawks
- 2:01:34Speaker 1: right now. Right now, he's still better than all five Hawks,
- 2:01:43Speaker 1: and he plays just about as good as defense at
- 2:01:46Speaker 1: forty one as Trey Young plays at twenty six.
- 2:01:50Speaker 15: Murmur murmur.
- 2:01:53Speaker 1: Murmur, sir murmur. But this is what's wrong with society
- 2:01:57Speaker 1: and sports. Stop being so biased. It's okay for it.
- 2:02:03Speaker 1: You to love your team war Eagle, Arburn and wear
- 2:02:07Speaker 1: a Vanderbilt shirt and get them their love too. That
- 2:02:11Speaker 1: don't take away from go win some games. But that
- 2:02:14Speaker 1: don't take that Vanderbilt is in the top ten. Man,
- 2:02:20Speaker 1: we seem like we can't do that no more. Everything
- 2:02:23Speaker 1: has to be me trying to figure out where you
- 2:02:25Speaker 1: know they're paying some people at Vanderbilt. You know they
- 2:02:28Speaker 1: dropped the curriculum. No, Lebron James is playing and I
- 2:02:35Speaker 1: wasn't even on that page. But this man and his
- 2:02:38Speaker 1: hate for this man, it's just so ridiculous. You sound
- 2:02:48Speaker 1: like John Rocker upset that show. Hate is not an
- 2:02:52Speaker 1: American citizen and he had three home runs and had
- 2:02:55Speaker 1: ten strikers. Rock won't let it go and won't let
- 2:02:59Speaker 1: it go. We know you racist, Rye. It's okay. I'm
- 2:03:04Speaker 1: glad to know you that. I'm glad to know it.
- 2:03:07Speaker 1: That's all right. And I can't even say you're racels,
- 2:03:10Speaker 1: but you prejudice. So let me take that back. Because
- 2:03:14Speaker 1: racism is prejudiced with bidience. Racism is prejudice with bibles.
- 2:03:23Speaker 1: You can be prejudiced. That's life.
- 2:03:28Speaker 5: Monkeys like to hang with monkeys, Lions like to hang
- 2:03:31Speaker 5: with lions. That's this through animal Kingdom. But the bad
- 2:03:39Speaker 5: producer throw him, walk up.
- 2:03:46Speaker 1: Jaredy is thrilled. He is excited that you threw the
- 2:03:52Speaker 1: bad producer and the uncle you have made his show
- 2:03:55Speaker 1: from the Sports Shop show. We hope you enjoy your week.
- 2:03:59Speaker 1: We'll tell you your peace.
- 2:04:12Speaker 24: H
