Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: I'm Teddy Mellencamp and this is Emily Simpson, and.
- 0:05Speaker 2: You're listening to Popping Off.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Emily and I are in a fight, So it's gonna
- 0:09Speaker 1: be a little bit of a touchy podcast today.
- 0:12Speaker 2: We're in a fight. We're in a fight because you're
- 0:15Speaker 2: coming to LA.
- 0:16Speaker 1: You effortlessly could have zipped on over to my house.
- 0:21Speaker 2: I know, I know, person, I know I did not
- 0:24Speaker 2: plan this well at all, So now I have to
- 0:26Speaker 2: do this from my house, jump in my car, drive
- 0:28Speaker 2: to LA doesn't make any sense at all. I should
- 0:30Speaker 2: have went to LA this morning, and we should have
- 0:32Speaker 2: done the podcast together. I got it.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Well, I can take a hint. You don't want to
- 0:36Speaker 1: see me in person?
- 0:37Speaker 2: No I would. I'd prefer to be in person. We're
- 0:40Speaker 2: even better in person.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean whatever, it's fine, it's fine. You know
- 0:45Speaker 1: how I feel about you right now? Whay do Zach
- 0:48Speaker 1: feels about what's her name?
- 0:51Speaker 3: Why?
- 0:53Speaker 2: Jed jennat Black?
- 0:54Speaker 1: You know what, I'm going to send you some hate
- 0:56Speaker 1: texts the way that Zach sent to Jenny.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Do you want to divorce? Listen?
- 1:01Speaker 1: I don't even know that I can talk to you
- 1:03Speaker 1: right now, because clearly your morals are askew.
- 1:06Speaker 2: They are. I actually I didn't come because I was
- 1:09Speaker 2: too busy gambling this morning. That's why I was over
- 1:15Speaker 2: at Pachanga, just you know, just wastend the family money.
- 1:21Speaker 1: But how much money did I give you to spend
- 1:24Speaker 1: at Pachanga?
- 1:25Speaker 2: And did you go over? I spend all of it.
- 1:28Speaker 2: It's all gone, So I would I'm gonna need you
- 1:30Speaker 2: to do some dildo ad ads on your Instagram so
- 1:36Speaker 2: that you can replenish.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Here's the thing like I would probably do with the
- 1:40Speaker 1: cockering ad that I sell so much on LTK, which,
- 1:44Speaker 1: by the way, we'll post again now because I know
- 1:46Speaker 1: everyone's gonna message me.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Wait wait, wait, wait wait, you do not sell a cockering.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I don't sell I don't officially sell a cockering. It's
- 1:53Speaker 2: not an ad.
- 1:54Speaker 1: But I talked about it on the pod with Tamra
- 1:57Speaker 1: and then every single I think every single woman in
- 2:00Speaker 1: our age range was like, what's the cock ring?
- 2:04Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, so you linked it?
- 2:06Speaker 1: I linked it on LTK and it's my number one
- 2:09Speaker 1: best seller, no way, yes, and it's I mean it's
- 2:14Speaker 1: like eight dollars for like sixteen cock rings.
- 2:17Speaker 2: You get them on Amazon. Oh my god, Okay, now
- 2:19Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to check it out.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Well, can I tell you a funny story about the
- 2:23Speaker 1: cock rings before we get into popping off?
- 2:27Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 2:28Speaker 1: So I'm at this at a Christmas party, like a
- 2:31Speaker 1: very formal there's like an organization that my husband belongs
- 2:35Speaker 1: to that's, you know, like bougie type thing that you know,
- 2:38Speaker 1: the wives have to attend occasionally.
- 2:41Speaker 2: And maybe I had a couple.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Margarita's and one of the wives was like talking about
- 2:46Speaker 1: her s life and I was like, well, you should
- 2:49Speaker 1: just get the cock rings and she's like what, And
- 2:53Speaker 1: I'm like, well, it really like jazz is things up
- 2:55Speaker 1: and it keeps things moving, and you know, as we
- 2:58Speaker 1: get older, it's sometimes hard to hit the moment.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and she goes, okay, well pull it up for me.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So I went on.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Amazon and we ordered them, like we did this together,
- 3:10Speaker 1: like it was a plan.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Cut too.
- 3:12Speaker 1: She gets home from Christmas break, she goes and opens
- 3:16Speaker 1: this box in front of her entire family and it's
- 3:19Speaker 1: a box full of pink cock rings and she had
- 3:23Speaker 1: zero recollection of.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Why they came. She didn't remember the conversation with you
- 3:30Speaker 2: at all. That's how memorable you are. At those fancy parties.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Teddy, I get a text from her friend and she's like,
- 3:38Speaker 1: hold on, we're dying because.
- 3:41Speaker 2: All you know now there's all these cock rings arriving.
- 3:43Speaker 1: She's telling me the story and she's like, you don't remember,
- 3:46Speaker 1: Teddy and you guys talking about it in the bathroom.
- 3:49Speaker 2: And she's like, oh shit.
- 3:51Speaker 1: She's like, but why did I need to order like
- 3:53Speaker 1: eighty five of them?
- 3:55Speaker 2: That's what I was going to ask. Are they are you?
- 3:57Speaker 2: Are they only like one use only, like a cor
- 4:00Speaker 2: have to throw it away?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yes, they're one use only, And yeah, I mean, who
- 4:05Speaker 1: wants to clean that and then try again?
- 4:08Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know if you have to.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to look at your LTK.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Now listen, we'll post one when this episode airs.
- 4:16Speaker 2: But did you have to rewatch? I did, but I
- 4:21Speaker 2: fell asleep.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but once I started rewatching, then I started remembering
- 4:25Speaker 1: everything and started remembering how much I dislike Zach.
- 4:29Speaker 2: It came back effortlessly. Yeah, yeah, I agree with that.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I've Jen looks like a like a poor just woe
- 4:37Speaker 2: is me? Beaten down woman in that for this episode seven.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah, so we're on episode seven. It's the Chippendale's drama continues.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Jen is crying as she talks to Zach on the phone.
- 4:49Speaker 1: He's threatening their marriage and questioning Jen's character. Zach isn't
- 4:54Speaker 1: the only husband that's upset about Chippendale's. Jin Taylor and
- 4:58Speaker 1: Mikaela all leave before the show starts because their partners
- 5:02Speaker 1: have an issue with it. Demi thinks it's a perfect
- 5:05Speaker 1: example of misogyny that exists within the LDS Church.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Jen tell's the girls, I love Zach so much.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I don't want to disappoint him.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Okay, he's acting like she cheated on him. Yeah, and
- 5:19Speaker 2: you know, I think I think that's the way he
- 5:23Speaker 2: interprets it. Even though she didn't even go to the
- 5:26Speaker 2: actual show, all she did was walk inside the boundaries
- 5:31Speaker 2: of where this show takes place. I don't know. All
- 5:35Speaker 2: I know is I am Mary to Shane, who is
- 5:36Speaker 2: an active member of the LDS Church, and I have
- 5:38Speaker 2: been to thunder Down under a right up front and
- 5:41Speaker 2: he had no problem with it.
- 5:42Speaker 1: So well, I think that there's like a big difference
- 5:47Speaker 1: between not that one is better than the other whatever,
- 5:51Speaker 1: but like going and watching a show versus like and
- 5:56Speaker 1: I'm not even I don't even care if Edwin were
- 5:58Speaker 1: to go to a strip club, I really don't.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I don't either.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I don't care about that, But I do think a
- 6:03Speaker 1: strip club is different because they like it's to get
- 6:07Speaker 1: you off where.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I think Chippendale like to me.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I gotta be honest, I wasn't turned on for one
- 6:12Speaker 1: second watching any of those guys.
- 6:14Speaker 2: No, I wasn't either. And you know, when we went
- 6:17Speaker 2: to the thunder Down Under show, it really is a show.
- 6:20Speaker 2: It's a Vegas show. There's a lot of women, they're screaming,
- 6:23Speaker 2: but at the end of the day, they're all on
- 6:24Speaker 2: stage and they're they're doing a show. It's not you know,
- 6:30Speaker 2: it's not like there's orgies going on in back rooms
- 6:33Speaker 2: or anything. So it doesn't I don't know.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I mean about like having fun with your girlfriends and like, yeah,
- 6:42Speaker 1: I mean, if I was gonna think, what's more dangerous
- 6:45Speaker 1: to be at a Chippendale show watching from the stands
- 6:48Speaker 1: or the seats or whatever, versus going to a nightclub
- 6:51Speaker 1: and getting a table and getting hammered with all my girlfriends,
- 6:55Speaker 1: I would think probably more dangerous being at a nightclub
- 6:59Speaker 1: where you have every skeazy guy there trying to get
- 7:02Speaker 1: in your pants.
- 7:03Speaker 2: That's funny. I was just gonna say that because I
- 7:05Speaker 2: was gonna say after we went to Thunder down Under.
- 7:07Speaker 2: We went to a club and we had a table
- 7:09Speaker 2: and bottle service, and guys kept coming up and we
- 7:11Speaker 2: kept trying to get rid of them. That was scarier.
- 7:14Speaker 2: At least the guys on like Thunder down Under or
- 7:16Speaker 2: Chippendale's they're controlled. They're on the stage, they do their job,
- 7:20Speaker 2: they leave, that's it.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Yeah, And honestly, to me, a lot of them seemed
- 7:26Speaker 1: like they probably weren't interested in females at all.
- 7:28Speaker 2: No, I don't think so.
- 7:30Speaker 1: No, just zero guessing by no man shaving or what's
- 7:35Speaker 1: man escaping?
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yep.
- 7:38Speaker 1: But then the Chippendale show starts and we get a
- 7:41Speaker 1: glimpse into what the girls experience. Men ripping off their shirts,
- 7:45Speaker 1: stripping down to their underwear. I love just even reading this.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Humping the air, yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 2: And some showing their bare butts.
- 7:56Speaker 1: But the mom taught girls that stayed for the show
- 7:58Speaker 1: are having the time of their life. Demi got pulled
- 8:01Speaker 1: up on stage and a Chippendale placed her hands on
- 8:03Speaker 1: his butt cheeks, and then Layla was pulled up on
- 8:06Speaker 1: stage and one of the dancers was grinding on her.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Wait, can can I just back up? Is Demi's husband
- 8:12Speaker 2: is LDS? Is that correct? I think so, the older
- 8:15Speaker 2: guy that's like forty six or something, the ex football player,
- 8:18Speaker 2: he is access.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I don't know if he's active, but I mean, I
- 8:23Speaker 1: know they met when Demi was ten in the church.
- 8:26Speaker 2: They could have just been family friends. I don't think
- 8:27Speaker 2: they were like making out or anything. No, I'm not implying.
- 8:31Speaker 1: That, but it's still weird to me, Like, I've known
- 8:35Speaker 1: you since I was ten, but then when I hit
- 8:37Speaker 1: twenty four, it was on and poppin'. But I'm also like, okay,
- 8:45Speaker 1: we're we're gonna judge this right here.
- 8:47Speaker 2: But okay, wait, let me ask one more question. I
- 8:49Speaker 2: find it interesting that Taylor left.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I know what I think Taylor was just like, I'm
- 8:54Speaker 1: thirty nine weeks pregnant and I'm freaking exhausted and I
- 8:58Speaker 1: don't even want to sit in this uncomfortable yea and
- 9:01Speaker 1: eat donuts.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like I feel like it was more
- 9:04Speaker 2: of a pregnancy thing than actually Dakota, because I don't
- 9:08Speaker 2: feel like he has a lot of control over her.
- 9:10Speaker 2: So I think you're right, it was probably more of
- 9:12Speaker 2: a pregnancy issue as opposed to her just you know,
- 9:16Speaker 2: bowing down and listening to him.
- 9:18Speaker 1: And I think that the Tippindale show starts at like
- 9:21Speaker 1: nine o'clock, Like, it's not like a seven, it's not
- 9:24Speaker 1: a matinee.
- 9:25Speaker 2: No, it's way too late. I could have taken a
- 9:27Speaker 2: nap during it, if there was an intermission, I would
- 9:29Speaker 2: have taken a little nap, a little a little nappy
- 9:32Speaker 2: nap and.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Without a beverage like and being that pregnant. And you know,
- 9:37Speaker 1: I think she was just like few these other girls
- 9:39Speaker 1: are leaving now, excuse to go home and have a
- 9:42Speaker 1: magnum soda and eat some junk and listen to other
- 9:46Speaker 1: people's problems. But I don't think she really gave two
- 9:48Speaker 1: shits what Dakota.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Had to say.
- 9:50Speaker 1: But I feel like the fact that any of these
- 9:54Speaker 1: women can pass any judgment on the ones that stayed,
- 9:59Speaker 1: but they're fine with putting fruity cereal in their vaginas, Yeah,
- 10:06Speaker 1: seems a little confusing to me.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I'm still confused by the fruity. I tell you, I
- 10:13Speaker 2: feel like maybe you should do a fruity pebbles cockering
- 10:16Speaker 2: like integration and see what happens. Well, that's going to
- 10:20Speaker 2: be my next only fan. That's your homework. Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 10:24Speaker 2: I'm sorry, guys. Sorry kids, I can't take you to
- 10:27Speaker 2: school this morning.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I've got a fruity pebbles experiment.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I need to do. But no, you can't have any
- 10:34Speaker 2: of them.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Let me know how it goes. Then they're back at
- 10:45Speaker 1: the airbnb. Which also, I don't really like to stay
- 10:47Speaker 1: in an airbnb in Vegas.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I don't either. You got to stay in the casinos,
- 10:51Speaker 2: in the hotels. Why would you stay in an airbnb like? Offstrip?
- 10:54Speaker 2: How not fun?
- 10:55Speaker 1: Is that?
- 10:56Speaker 2: How zero?
- 10:57Speaker 1: I mean, I'm guessing that's where they can film, But
- 10:59Speaker 1: I mean Housewives. I've been to Vegas multiple times and
- 11:02Speaker 1: filmed Housewives and hotel rooms.
- 11:04Speaker 2: We filmed in Vegas. We filmed at Westgate, a hotel
- 11:08Speaker 2: right on the strip. But maybe season one they were
- 11:11Speaker 2: on the cheap. Maybe, I don't know. It's those off
- 11:15Speaker 2: those houses off the strip in Vegas that remind me.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Did you ever watch the show Jigglos? Oh my god, yes,
- 11:22Speaker 2: that was, isn't it. It's such a it's such a
- 11:25Speaker 2: Jigglo setting.
- 11:26Speaker 1: It's a Jiggleo setting and it's also did you watch
- 11:29Speaker 1: the documentary about Heidi Flies?
- 11:33Speaker 2: No, no, that Vegas? My gosh, did you watch the
- 11:38Speaker 2: Bunny Ranch?
- 11:39Speaker 1: Oh?
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I did watch the Bunny Ranch. Shane was all
- 11:41Speaker 2: about the Bunny Ranch. We even met the guy, the
- 11:45Speaker 2: guy that owned the Bunny Ranch. We met him in
- 11:47Speaker 2: like Reno at a restaurant. Well, now, the woman that
- 11:50Speaker 2: runs the Bunny.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Ranch, it's it's a woman now, and she is hilarious
- 11:56Speaker 1: because I can't.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I can't say how I know her.
- 11:59Speaker 1: It's nothing salacious, but I do, and she cracks me up.
- 12:04Speaker 1: But yeah, they're back at the Airbnb. Jen and Taylor
- 12:07Speaker 1: are complaining about this trip and how shitty it's turning
- 12:09Speaker 1: out to be. Then Zach texted Jen saying I'm done.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I'm not interested in talking. I can't do.
- 12:15Speaker 2: This anymore with you.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Meanwhile, the camera crew is filming Zach gambling at the casino, like, no, he's.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Just wasting that medical school money one ship at a time.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and then, can you also explain to me when
- 12:32Speaker 1: Dakota's husband, I mean, when Dakota becomes good friends with
- 12:37Speaker 1: Demi's husband and calls Brett from the Vegas strip.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I don't get it. I don't get it either. I
- 12:42Speaker 2: don't know, but Brett clearly I don't think he had
- 12:45Speaker 2: an issue with it, right, Brett's like, I don't give
- 12:47Speaker 2: a My wife is hot and like so am I
- 12:51Speaker 2: and so am I and doing just fine. And I
- 12:55Speaker 2: just wiped the cereal from my lip and I'm glad
- 12:57Speaker 2: to go. I'm gonna toss the football later with my
- 13:00Speaker 2: shirt off. It's all good. It is all good.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Dakota starts to get emotional as his mind jumps to
- 13:07Speaker 1: the worst case scenarios with Taylor going to Chippendale's. Brett
- 13:11Speaker 1: gives some words of encouragement to him that seems to
- 13:13Speaker 1: revive Dakota's mood. But I'm like, if anybody should be
- 13:16Speaker 1: worried about somebody in Vegas, like if and I'm not
- 13:19Speaker 1: trying to place blame, but if somebody is a recovering addict,
- 13:24Speaker 1: I'd probably be more concerned for that. And like, she's
- 13:28Speaker 1: not giving him a hard time about where he is.
- 13:31Speaker 2: No, and she's also like nine months pregnant, Like what
- 13:33Speaker 2: does he think she's going to do? Yeah, like what
- 13:36Speaker 2: She's probably not even wanting to bone you. She I mean,
- 13:39Speaker 2: she looks miserable, she's got like a sweat outfit on
- 13:44Speaker 2: and everyone else's dress up, like, I don't think she's
- 13:46Speaker 2: there to mingle with the guys. No, absolutely not.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Then de Me, Jesse, Layla, and Macy arrive back at
- 13:56Speaker 1: the house after the show. They give the three girls
- 13:58Speaker 1: a recap of what missed. Jen, Taylor, and Michael seem
- 14:02Speaker 1: annoyed by the girl's excitement. They don't care how the
- 14:05Speaker 1: show went. I don't think Taylor was really annoyed. I
- 14:08Speaker 1: think Taylor was just like whatever, I've probably been to
- 14:12Speaker 1: one of these before, like it is what it is,
- 14:15Speaker 1: but the other ones did. At this point, Jen is
- 14:18Speaker 1: just down in the dumps.
- 14:19Speaker 2: She's like she.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Can't even look up, she can't be bothered to move
- 14:23Speaker 1: her hair over and cover her tracks like none of them.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I know she's done. She is a broken woman. Yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 2: she is not handling it well.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And then we see that zach'sent a long text to Jen,
- 14:36Speaker 1: and from what we were able to read, so thank
- 14:40Speaker 1: you to Maddie, one of our producers who felt the
- 14:44Speaker 1: need to take a screen grab of the television so
- 14:48Speaker 1: she could capture the three seconds that.
- 14:50Speaker 2: It was on.
- 14:52Speaker 1: And it says something along the lines of do you
- 14:55Speaker 1: want to read it.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Seriously, I don't want to hear one more time about
- 14:59Speaker 2: your heart. Start taking accountability for your actions and the
- 15:02Speaker 2: situations you put yourself in. You're a grown woman. Doesn't
- 15:06Speaker 2: matter your intention, you were there, and that's the image
- 15:08Speaker 2: you portray of your self, family, church, et cetera. Everyone
- 15:11Speaker 2: you represent with this platform. The fact you would have
- 15:13Speaker 2: to ask me, is he us the R word? The
- 15:17Speaker 2: R word? Yeah, we don't use that word. Yeah. And
- 15:20Speaker 2: it's like Jen, the fact that he's sending the text
- 15:25Speaker 2: while he's like, excuse me, he has to stop the dealer,
- 15:28Speaker 2: hold on, I got to send this text, yeah, like
- 15:31Speaker 2: hold up, let me.
- 15:32Speaker 1: And also I'm like, are you allowed to have phone?
- 15:36Speaker 1: Like at the gambling table. I'm not a gambler, but
- 15:38Speaker 1: I do feel like.
- 15:39Speaker 2: They don't, like they don't you have your phones?
- 15:44Speaker 1: But also we have to also remember he is gambling
- 15:49Speaker 1: with her money and now coming after her in the
- 15:54Speaker 1: midst of all this. And it's like, if you want
- 15:56Speaker 1: to place your bet on something, Jen or Zach, it's
- 15:59Speaker 1: the flags that I see in this relationship.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it's and the hair. I can't with his hair.
- 16:08Speaker 2: They both could use a hair makeover. Yeah. The hair.
- 16:10Speaker 2: You need to go to Jiz and get figured out.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yeah, but I have to skip and I know that
- 16:20Speaker 3: we're gonna get more into the relationship with Zach and
- 16:24Speaker 3: Jen and what happens that, you know, when she leaves
- 16:27Speaker 3: and does everything.
- 16:28Speaker 2: But before that, can we talk about.
- 16:30Speaker 1: What's happened as of recent with the tiktoks with Jen
- 16:34Speaker 1: and Zach?
- 16:36Speaker 2: Well, so are they alluding to them not being together?
- 16:39Speaker 1: Well, there's one TikTok where there's like they're for sure elluding,
- 16:46Speaker 1: like I forgot where we left off, and then the
- 16:48Speaker 1: other one's like you broke up or you know something
- 16:51Speaker 1: like that, and it's like we're alluding to that.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Then there's another one where it's like she's got the
- 16:56Speaker 2: ring on. Then there's another. But this is my question.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I stand, this is reality TV, it's for entertainment, it's
- 17:03Speaker 1: all these things.
- 17:04Speaker 2: But if you are seriously in.
- 17:06Speaker 1: A decent marriage, I'm not even saying good. If you're
- 17:11Speaker 1: in a decent marriage, you're not making joke tiktoks about it.
- 17:19Speaker 2: No, that was my question. Why would you think it's
- 17:22Speaker 2: okay to make content where you're questioning your marriage like
- 17:28Speaker 2: that doesn't make sense to me. I wouldn't do that
- 17:30Speaker 2: with Shane. No, And I mean, look, I get it.
- 17:33Speaker 2: It would get a lot of views, and it would,
- 17:35Speaker 2: and it would It would create a lot of controversy
- 17:38Speaker 2: and stories. If I made content alluding to the fact
- 17:41Speaker 2: that Shane and I were no longer together, people would
- 17:43Speaker 2: lose their minds. But I would never do that for
- 17:47Speaker 2: the sake of just getting more followers or more likes
- 17:51Speaker 2: or whatever. And let's say they are still together.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I need to know he's more okay with her, making
- 17:59Speaker 1: reference is on TikTok and mom talk that they're over
- 18:04Speaker 1: than he is. For her to attend a Chippendale's thing, Like,
- 18:07Speaker 1: to me, that's more right degrading if that is the case.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, But I guess because that makes money. But
- 18:16Speaker 2: being at Shippendale's. But this is what I don't understand.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I don't know how does it make money if there's
- 18:24Speaker 1: not an ad involved?
- 18:26Speaker 2: Like are they wearing a shirt that they're getting paid for? Like,
- 18:29Speaker 2: I don't know. I guess I think of it as
- 18:31Speaker 2: the more content they produce, the more followers they get,
- 18:34Speaker 2: and then when they do get AD revenue. Oh, and
- 18:37Speaker 2: I guess TikTok pays on I don't even have TikTok.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I don't know. I guess TikTok pays based on views.
- 18:43Speaker 2: It does, so does Facebook. You know, every once in
- 18:47Speaker 2: a while, I get like a twenty dollars check from Facebook.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Thank you Meta. Hold on, why are you please tell
- 18:55Speaker 2: me you're not one.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Of those that posts like.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Like Teresa and oh no, I don't. I'm not okay,
- 19:02Speaker 2: I am not click, I am not Lincoln Bio. That's
- 19:06Speaker 2: Vicky Lincoln Bio Gumbelson like, I don't do that stuff. No, Well,
- 19:10Speaker 2: then how are you getting paid by facebooks? I think
- 19:13Speaker 2: it's like TikTok. I think it's just based on views,
- 19:15Speaker 2: because I don't I.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Made a whole twenty bucks congratulation I've patient, yeah, I
- 19:20Speaker 1: have made about twenty eight dollars on Facebook.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Yess I'm not. I could not. I could now buy
- 19:28Speaker 2: some cockeries with eight dollars to spare right.
- 19:34Speaker 1: But then to me, we get into Demi thinking it's
- 19:37Speaker 1: gross that Zach would threaten Jen with divorce when she
- 19:40Speaker 1: does nothing but support him. To me, asks if Jen
- 19:43Speaker 1: and Taylor are miserable in the relationship.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Taylors of course.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Like, yes, miserable, then Jan admits she's worried that Zach
- 19:54Speaker 1: is alone with his thoughts. She won't be able to
- 19:56Speaker 1: sleep tonight unless she talks to him. Like, he's not
- 19:58Speaker 1: alone with his thoughts, he's alone with your cash spend.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Yeah, he's alone with his chips. Yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I mean the fact that he won't even hang out
- 20:06Speaker 1: with Dakota as another surefire sign that he is not
- 20:11Speaker 1: concerned about anything but himself. But then then we get
- 20:16Speaker 1: to the next morning, all the girls go to bed.
- 20:20Speaker 1: The next morning at the Airbnb, everyone's there except for Jen.
- 20:24Speaker 1: We knew Jen was going to go there. We knew, right,
- 20:28Speaker 1: would if you were in a major if you're on
- 20:30Speaker 1: a housewife trip and Shane was in the same city
- 20:35Speaker 1: and you got into a major fight with him, would
- 20:38Speaker 1: you leave the housewife House offstrip and go find him
- 20:43Speaker 1: in the hotel? No?
- 20:44Speaker 2: I would just talk a lot of shit about him
- 20:46Speaker 2: on camera in the housewife House film.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, if anybody should be coming anywhere, it should
- 20:56Speaker 1: be Zach coming where the cameras are to the house,
- 20:59Speaker 1: so that we could witness the fight.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Right, don't they know how this works? Like we don't
- 21:03Speaker 2: care about what happens off camera? Right?
- 21:05Speaker 1: Believe anything but Demi tells everyone that Jen left the
- 21:10Speaker 1: house at two am. She was texting Zach all night
- 21:13Speaker 1: because he wouldn't talk to her on the phone or
- 21:15Speaker 1: see her in person. Yeah, because his hand is underneath
- 21:18Speaker 1: the gambling table, texting and writes and gambling, he can't
- 21:22Speaker 1: be answering the phone that he would have to step
- 21:24Speaker 1: away from the table. But Jen had de me read
- 21:29Speaker 1: their entire text. That was a mistake, Jen, just so
- 21:32Speaker 1: that was.
- 21:33Speaker 2: That was a mistake. I mean, especially when you know
- 21:36Speaker 2: the next day you're gonna be like, everything's fine, we
- 21:38Speaker 2: worked it all out. It's great. You shouldn't have done that.
- 21:43Speaker 1: No, and when you have, especially if the if the
- 21:46Speaker 1: text message is just like you.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Hurt my feelings, this upset me, blah blah blah. But no,
- 21:51Speaker 2: it's you're disgusting. I don't love you anymore. And he
- 21:56Speaker 2: talks crap about everybody else's relationship.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah, like I I don't want to be compared to
- 22:01Speaker 1: any of these assholes. So and so's a cheater, so
- 22:04Speaker 1: and so's married to a fifty year old this person's that.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Like, I don't know.
- 22:10Speaker 1: My only response I think to Zach would be at
- 22:13Speaker 1: two am if he was still harassing me after I
- 22:16Speaker 1: left the Chippendale show at nine to fifteen pm and
- 22:19Speaker 1: been texting ever since. Was like, listen, you better be
- 22:23Speaker 1: paying me back for whatever you've been gambling, asshole.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sending an invoice, I'm sending a wall request. Yeah,
- 22:32Speaker 2: vinmo request, and then I'm gonna ssue you. But I
- 22:34Speaker 2: don't get it.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna have Emily type up a legal zoom
- 22:38Speaker 1: and handleshit for me.
- 22:39Speaker 2: So excuse me. But then.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Demi claims that Zach was threatening to take the kids,
- 22:48Speaker 1: threatening to move back to his mom's house.
- 22:50Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, that's such a threat. I'm gonna go
- 22:52Speaker 2: move in with my mom. So for if Shane was
- 22:57Speaker 2: to take the kids to move in with his mom,
- 22:58Speaker 2: M'd be like, how can I help? Yes, awesome? Should
- 23:03Speaker 2: I pack your back or sounds great? See you guys
- 23:08Speaker 2: next week. I'd love a week off. Appreciate good time.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Thank you so much for that. I'm going to go
- 23:13Speaker 2: to my don't make me leave with the kids and
- 23:15Speaker 2: go to my mom. Don't threaten me with a good time.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Right then, Jen confided into me about Zach's gambling issues.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Zach's family gave him a chuck of money to get
- 23:26Speaker 1: through medical school and he.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Blew through it.
- 23:30Speaker 1: The fact that Zach even thinks he can negotiate any
- 23:34Speaker 1: kind of argument when we're hearing this information.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I want to know what Zach's parents think about his
- 23:41Speaker 2: gambling problem and him blowing through all his medical school
- 23:45Speaker 2: money on gambling. I want to know what they think
- 23:48Speaker 2: about it.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I also want to know if he's in medical school
- 23:52Speaker 1: right now. I really find it hard for my imagination
- 23:57Speaker 1: to It would be like if I were to say
- 23:59Speaker 1: to you, Emily, in three months I start medical school,
- 24:04Speaker 1: You'd be like, Teddy, you barely graduated high school?
- 24:07Speaker 2: Like, what don't you have to go to college first?
- 24:10Speaker 3: Right?
- 24:11Speaker 2: Don't you have to read a book? Like I can't
- 24:13Speaker 2: even read a book.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I listened to audio books, so like, I don't know,
- 24:18Speaker 1: I just don't find it feasible.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Well, I'm surprised that you haven't dug deeper into that
- 24:22Speaker 2: and figured out if he's actually currently enrolled in medical
- 24:25Speaker 2: school or not.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Know what it would have taken for me to go
- 24:28Speaker 1: that level of research if he were hot.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the hair. It just turns you off. Doesn't
- 24:35Speaker 2: you just care? Yeah? I can't. I'm like I can't.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I don't.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I mean, I care enough to ask you about it
- 24:41Speaker 1: because hopefully I thought you would know, or maybe one
- 24:43Speaker 1: of our producers would have written in the chat. Oh,
- 24:46Speaker 1: his mom posted he's going to med school in Arizona.
- 24:49Speaker 1: He's going, but has he gone? When does med school start? Like?
- 24:56Speaker 2: Okay, so are they moving to Arizona? Are they gonna Well,
- 24:59Speaker 2: if he's in med school Arizona, they have to live
- 25:00Speaker 2: in Arizona. So how is she going to be a
- 25:02Speaker 2: part of mom talk now if she lives in Arizona.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Well, it feels like she's really doubled down on her
- 25:07Speaker 1: mom Talk tiktoks and I think they've already started filming allegedly.
- 25:12Speaker 1: So my guess is he's on his own there and
- 25:17Speaker 1: maybe they're still trying to be together. But because I mean,
- 25:20Speaker 1: if she's going to have to keep paying for him
- 25:22Speaker 1: to go to this med school, she's going to need
- 25:26Speaker 1: to keep working.
- 25:28Speaker 2: I want to know. I want to see their tax returns.
- 25:30Speaker 2: I want to know how much they're actually making from
- 25:34Speaker 2: just social media, because I don't know how you support
- 25:37Speaker 2: kids and a lifestyle and pay for your husband to
- 25:40Speaker 2: go to med school all from social media, like.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Well, I also want to know what's the cost of
- 25:45Speaker 1: living in Utah versus California. Oh, well, that's not even comparable, right,
- 25:52Speaker 1: But like, what do you think, like a month it's
- 25:55Speaker 1: costing her to pay for a house to rent their kids.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I mean, their kids are too young to even go
- 26:02Speaker 1: to school, but in order to film there has to
- 26:04Speaker 1: be there have to be paying someone to watch them
- 26:07Speaker 1: to eat too. Are we thinking five thousand a month?
- 26:12Speaker 2: Are we thinking I'd say more because I know rent
- 26:15Speaker 2: there is pretty high right now. I know it's difficult.
- 26:17Speaker 2: You can't find like a two bedroom for any less
- 26:21Speaker 2: than twenty five hundred a month.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and they have a lot of kids. But the
- 26:25Speaker 1: fact that Zach is private and on Instagram and his
- 26:30Speaker 1: mom deleted her profile or she changed her handles that republic,
- 26:35Speaker 1: it's a pretty pretty good sign that things are askew.
- 26:42Speaker 1: But then my favorite I can't help but love Taylor.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Taylor on the phone with Dakota and he's upset that
- 26:49Speaker 1: she met the Chippendales and he's like, why didn't you
- 26:54Speaker 1: tell me?
- 26:54Speaker 2: And she's like, we haven't talked. I'm telling you now.
- 26:58Speaker 2: If there was just a visual of zero age, it
- 27:00Speaker 2: would be Taylor on the phone with Dakota, and he's
- 27:05Speaker 2: just like, spot, you didn't.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Tell me you met them, and blub Dakota, You're lucky.
- 27:11Speaker 1: She's even given you the time of day one time.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Count your lucky stars, right. I can't like, does it?
- 27:19Speaker 2: Doesn't it? Don't you have someone to DM, Dakota, don't
- 27:21Speaker 2: you have to get up in somebody's dms or don't
- 27:24Speaker 2: you need to play on your PlayStation? Are they together?
- 27:28Speaker 2: That's my question? Are they together still? I think they are.
- 27:32Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:33Speaker 1: I feel like if they are together, it won't be
- 27:37Speaker 1: for long. She may be just like holding out because
- 27:40Speaker 1: I mean, I love that. I've just made up in
- 27:42Speaker 1: my head that Dakota doesn't have a job, so he'll
- 27:45Speaker 1: be even though they've told us he has one.
- 27:47Speaker 2: But I don't know if I believe that. Well, I
- 27:48Speaker 2: don't know.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I don't some some sort of job there or doing
- 27:54Speaker 1: haavers or something.
- 27:56Speaker 2: He just drives the truck around with a box in
- 27:58Speaker 2: the back.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Yeah, moving into different girlfriend's houses. But I feel like
- 28:03Speaker 1: as soon as her baby gets a little bit older
- 28:07Speaker 1: and she's not going to need his assistance and in
- 28:09Speaker 1: that like newborn stage, she's gonna for sure.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Be like go kick rocks da coda, because there's no
- 28:15Speaker 2: way she likes him. Yeah, I mean we don't like him.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I mean, and we clearly have the world's best taste
- 28:22Speaker 1: in men, absolutely.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Living the dream over here. Yeah, k, we can't help ourselves.
- 28:30Speaker 1: But Macy hears the conversation and she thinks Dakota's insecurity
- 28:35Speaker 1: is stemming from a secret he's hiding, which brings it
- 28:38Speaker 1: back to the confession she received on Instagram.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Which brings me back to Emily. We forgot to do this.
- 28:43Speaker 2: What do we forget?
- 28:45Speaker 1: We forgot to do confessions and see if people actually
- 28:48Speaker 1: confide shit in us, like.
- 28:49Speaker 2: I don't know, oh on our own Instagram, Like yeah,
- 28:52Speaker 2: oh okay, let's do that after this. Let's do that,
- 28:55Speaker 2: Let's both do it, and that's say, what are we
- 28:57Speaker 2: making a podcast again after this one? Oh yeah, just
- 29:02Speaker 2: see you guys that.
- 29:02Speaker 1: We're trying to figure out what show to recap after
- 29:05Speaker 1: Secret Lives of Warm Wives. We don't want to get
- 29:07Speaker 1: ourselves into another too hot to handle situations.
- 29:10Speaker 2: So yeah, if we have a.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Little break, it's because we're figuring out what show we
- 29:14Speaker 1: want to talk about. And also, let us know any
- 29:17Speaker 1: good juicy, juicy ones. We should we want to recap
- 29:23Speaker 1: Southern Charm, but it's like.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Hello, Bravo, where Southern Charm? Where is it?
- 29:37Speaker 1: Then we get to the girls talking about Whitney and
- 29:42Speaker 1: her absence from the Girl's trip.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Were you glad that Whitney wasn't there? Did you think
- 29:46Speaker 2: it was better without her there? Or do you think
- 29:48Speaker 2: we needed a villain? I mean, Zach was definitely the villain.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I don't know if we could handle Zach and Whitney
- 29:53Speaker 2: on that trip.
- 29:54Speaker 1: To be honest, I forgot Whitney wasn't there until they
- 29:56Speaker 1: pointed it out, until they.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Were like, oh, it's so nice, just six of us.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Oh, hold on, we've got some information on Dakota.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Breaking news, breaking news. Read it again. Here we go. Okay,
- 30:11Speaker 2: So Dakota. Before becoming a known and known face on TikTok,
- 30:14Speaker 2: Dakota embarked on his journey on the platform in twenty
- 30:18Speaker 2: twenty two, starting with a video captioned the only kind
- 30:21Speaker 2: of Love I Want. At this point, his creative flair
- 30:24Speaker 2: quickly caught the who wrote this his creative did? His
- 30:29Speaker 2: creative flair quickly caught the attention of many. Illustrated by
- 30:33Speaker 2: his quote okay, maybe just a little unquote couple skit,
- 30:37Speaker 2: which exploded in popularity, garnering more than one million views.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Beyond his social media exploits, Dakota has also ventured into
- 30:45Speaker 2: the real estate industry, where he has found success. He
- 30:49Speaker 2: owns Basin Tiling, a company operating in Idaho and Utah,
- 30:53Speaker 2: which marks his entrepreneurial footprint outside the digital world. Basin
- 30:59Speaker 2: Tiling has six hundred and twenty five followers and no website.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Crushing it. Crushing it, Dakota.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Rush, Dakota, slide on into my damc Yeah, making some money, honey,
- 31:13Speaker 1: Let's make.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Some content together, Dakota, since you have a creative flair
- 31:19Speaker 2: that quickly caught the attention of Mini, including us. Because
- 31:23Speaker 2: we're still talking about you know, we need to stop.
- 31:25Speaker 2: We need to stop talking.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Okay, so we're back to Macy hasn't given up on
- 31:29Speaker 1: Whitney coming back to mom talk. She believes if Whitney
- 31:33Speaker 1: were to apologize for the things she's done, they would
- 31:35Speaker 1: forgive her.
- 31:36Speaker 2: They're gonna forgive anybody that makes some money. They've even
- 31:39Speaker 2: forgiven Zach. I know, let's I mean, let's get over
- 31:42Speaker 2: the fact that you guys have to forgive each other
- 31:44Speaker 2: to make content, like we all know how it works.
- 31:46Speaker 2: They don't care. Yeah, they don't give a shit.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Listen, I would make content with about anyone if I
- 31:51Speaker 1: could support somebody going through medical school, my house, my kids,
- 31:57Speaker 1: all of it. Sure, put me in a TikTok with
- 31:59Speaker 1: whoever you want.
- 32:01Speaker 2: We should start old mom talk.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Old old moms talk, old mom talk, old mom talk.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Who else would be in our I mean.
- 32:11Speaker 1: We have to have we have to be old moms
- 32:13Speaker 1: but have somewhat younger kids.
- 32:15Speaker 2: So like, who else fits that demographic for us?
- 32:18Speaker 1: Well?
- 32:18Speaker 2: Gina, Gina, but she she as old as us. She's
- 32:23Speaker 2: forty now.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Oh well, welcome to the forty club, Gina. Yeah, okay,
- 32:30Speaker 1: Beverly Hills.
- 32:31Speaker 2: There's no one old moms with young GIRs.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not sure that Dari would be interested
- 32:38Speaker 1: in old mom talking with us.
- 32:40Speaker 2: It doesn't seem like an aesthetic she'd be interested.
- 32:43Speaker 1: No, But then to me and Jesse say they have
- 32:48Speaker 1: no interest in mending things with Whitney if she's never
- 32:51Speaker 1: going to show them.
- 32:52Speaker 2: True friendship, I think that ship sailed. But then, but
- 32:58Speaker 2: don't you worry.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Then we get to Whitney and Connor's house and Whitney
- 33:01Speaker 1: Whitney is of course.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Okay, wait, can I ask you a question? Is this
- 33:05Speaker 2: house doesn't it look different than the house they walked
- 33:08Speaker 2: into in the first episode. It's a different house, right.
- 33:12Speaker 1: It's either a different house or maybe they live with
- 33:15Speaker 1: one of their parents at this point, because I feel
- 33:17Speaker 1: like we have seen the house, but this isn't that house.
- 33:21Speaker 2: So when they came back from Hawaiian like that first
- 33:24Speaker 2: episode and they walk into a house and are like, hey,
- 33:26Speaker 2: welcome to our new house and they pop the champagne,
- 33:28Speaker 2: I don't think that's the house that they film in
- 33:31Speaker 2: after that.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Maybe they have like a standard rule that every time
- 33:34Speaker 1: Connor changes his hair, they have to change where they live.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that would make sense. Or grow a mustache. Connor's
- 33:42Speaker 2: eyebrows are killing me. I can't does he get them?
- 33:45Speaker 2: Are they threaded? Is it wax? Are they tattooed on?
- 33:49Speaker 2: What is going on? You just got a fresh microbe blading?
- 33:53Speaker 2: What's is that everyone's doing on their lips now too?
- 33:55Speaker 1: Like the rose tattoos, So you don't have to wear
- 33:58Speaker 1: lip gloss.
- 33:59Speaker 2: I can't. I just can't. But Connor, of course is
- 34:04Speaker 2: in on the hot tea.
- 34:05Speaker 1: He's like, he comes into the room and he's like,
- 34:08Speaker 1: you want to talk about it? Because he spoke to
- 34:10Speaker 1: Jesse's husband. I love a Jesse's husband doesn't even get
- 34:12Speaker 1: a name. We have not either, goes honestly like, hold
- 34:16Speaker 1: a gun to my head and say what's Jesse's husband's name?
- 34:18Speaker 2: And I'd be like, don't know. Has he even been
- 34:23Speaker 2: on camera other than the one hot tub scene for
- 34:25Speaker 2: like five seconds?
- 34:26Speaker 1: Yeah, the hot tub with the flask. That's the only
- 34:29Speaker 1: thing I know him from. Yeah. But after hearing what happened,
- 34:33Speaker 1: Whitney is so glad she didn't attend the girl's trip
- 34:35Speaker 1: because it isn't friends with these women anymore. Besides, Macey,
- 34:41Speaker 1: Whitney admits she did have fomo when she heard that
- 34:43Speaker 1: this trip was happening, but after hearing about this drama,
- 34:46Speaker 1: this fomo went away.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Supposedly, Yeah, she's so happy she didn't go. And she's
- 34:53Speaker 2: team Zach.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Oh, Whitney's saying she could see where Zach was coming
- 34:58Speaker 1: from because Jen's not a good friend. Is of course
- 35:02Speaker 1: the only take Whitney could have Exactly, I'm.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Like, of course you would say this. But then we're
- 35:09Speaker 2: back in Vegas.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Jin is still Mia, She's not answering anyone's calls, and
- 35:14Speaker 1: the girls are starting to get worried, so they decide
- 35:16Speaker 1: to get in the pool with during a wind tunnel.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Oh was there a lot of wind? Are you kidding me?
- 35:22Speaker 2: Like during that bar.
- 35:27Speaker 1: And they're all like their cover ups are flying off,
- 35:29Speaker 1: like what is happening? It looks like a terrible like
- 35:33Speaker 1: eight minutes in the hot tub, but this is the
- 35:35Speaker 1: second time we've put them in a precarious situation in
- 35:38Speaker 1: a hot tub where you can tell they don't want
- 35:40Speaker 1: to actually be in water, but they just can't sit
- 35:42Speaker 1: on that couch anymore.
- 35:44Speaker 2: That's at the Airbnb. They're like, guys, we got to
- 35:46Speaker 2: switch up the background. You gotta get the hots up.
- 35:49Speaker 1: But Jen finally texted me. She says she was up
- 35:53Speaker 1: all night talking to Zach. It was the hardest conversation
- 35:57Speaker 1: they've ever had. I gotta say, I don't believe her
- 35:59Speaker 1: on that.
- 36:00Speaker 2: No, you don't believe Well you think they had a
- 36:02Speaker 2: conversation or do you think she just went apologize, got
- 36:04Speaker 2: down on her knees, beg for forgiveness and that was
- 36:06Speaker 2: the end of it.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Well, probably that too, But I don't believe this was
- 36:10Speaker 1: the hardest conversation they ever had. I think they've probably
- 36:13Speaker 1: had multiple hard conversations, like when he squandered all of
- 36:16Speaker 1: his money from med school.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I woulde I mean if she had a If
- 36:21Speaker 2: she don't. She seems very subservient though, so I don't
- 36:26Speaker 2: know if she ever. I mean, do you think she
- 36:27Speaker 2: said something to him about the money? Like do you
- 36:29Speaker 2: think they got in an argument. Do you think she
- 36:31Speaker 2: brought it up? Or do you think she was like,
- 36:33Speaker 2: it's okay, I'll just make more on mom talk.
- 36:36Speaker 1: I think she's like, okay, I'll just give you an
- 36:38Speaker 1: allowance for your gambling so we can't go over that amount.
- 36:41Speaker 1: And like does he not have a credit card or
- 36:43Speaker 1: an ATM card to get more money out?
- 36:45Speaker 2: Like was she did? She just hand him the cash
- 36:47Speaker 2: and she's like, this is what you get. I don't know.
- 36:50Speaker 2: I have so many questions and you don't get upset.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Do you think Zach would come on the pod? I
- 36:55Speaker 2: doubt it, but we could try.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I would sland into his DMS, but now that he's private,
- 37:00Speaker 1: it's not accessible to me.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Bummer.
- 37:04Speaker 1: But then of course Dakota shows up to the house unannounced,
- 37:09Speaker 1: do we think Dakota just wants to be on television?
- 37:12Speaker 2: Like what is he doing? I don't know. He shows
- 37:15Speaker 2: up everywhere like unannounced. He just even the photo shoot,
- 37:19Speaker 2: he shows up unannounced, and he takes his shirt off,
- 37:21Speaker 2: and he shows up at the house unannounced. He comes
- 37:23Speaker 2: to Vegas, don't I don't know.
- 37:25Speaker 1: I don't think he moved unannounced, right, He's just like,
- 37:28Speaker 1: here's my box in my Rubik's cube.
- 37:30Speaker 2: I'm here. I don't know. Do you think it's producers
- 37:34Speaker 2: pushing him into being this annoying person, or do you
- 37:37Speaker 2: think he's really just that annoying on his own with
- 37:40Speaker 2: no bush, I.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Feel like he might just be that annoying. And I
- 37:44Speaker 1: feel like he can't be by himself for a second,
- 37:48Speaker 1: which I also find as a very annoying trait in humans,
- 37:52Speaker 1: Like I like to be by myself, Like I like
- 37:55Speaker 1: to be around people, but I like my alone time.
- 37:58Speaker 1: And people that can't understand that, Uh.
- 38:01Speaker 2: I agree. I agree. I like to do things alone too.
- 38:05Speaker 2: I don't I don't need I don't need people.
- 38:07Speaker 1: I don't need people constantly around me. But he goes
- 38:11Speaker 1: up to Taylor's room. They're like, he's like woo's Taylor doing?
- 38:14Speaker 1: And they're like sleeping up where she's exhausted and birthing
- 38:17Speaker 1: in four days from now and has to go on
- 38:19Speaker 1: a Vegas trip where she can't even do anything. But
- 38:22Speaker 1: he goes up to the room. Macey and Michaela stand
- 38:27Speaker 1: outside of the room to eavesdrop, like, why didn't they
- 38:29Speaker 1: get a cup and put their ear up to the door,
- 38:31Speaker 1: like at least do it, right, ladies.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Yeah, don't they have like a stethoscope or something. Jack's
- 38:36Speaker 2: in med school, Come on, ladies.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Dakota admits he overreacted last night and apologizes to Taylor.
- 38:45Speaker 2: She hears this and starts to sob.
- 38:47Speaker 1: They're seventeen days away from having their baby and their
- 38:50Speaker 1: relationship is so bad. Macy doesn't know what when she
- 38:55Speaker 1: should tell Taylor about the anonymous confession. Michael MICHAELA, you know,
- 39:00Speaker 1: she shouldn't do it tonight.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Mikaela. Yeah. She's like, you should do it now. She's like,
- 39:05Speaker 2: you should actually barge in the room. Yeah, right now,
- 39:08Speaker 2: just get in the bed in between them and just
- 39:10Speaker 2: pull it up on your phone.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I just show the confession and then get her
- 39:14Speaker 1: on a FaceTime or actually, better yet, get her to
- 39:17Speaker 1: the airbnb, but I love that. We're finally at episode seven,
- 39:21Speaker 1: and Mikaela's like, all right, I'll.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Show up to work today.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Yeah right, thank you, Michaela. Then the girls are going
- 39:30Speaker 1: out for their last night in Vegas. They haven't heard
- 39:33Speaker 1: from Jin, so they assume she won't be joining them
- 39:36Speaker 1: for dinner. Demi decides to call Jen while they're at
- 39:39Speaker 1: the restaurant and puts her on speaker. When Demi asks
- 39:42Speaker 1: Jen how her talk with Zach went, she says, oh,
- 39:45Speaker 1: things are great. It honestly was so I feel like
- 39:50Speaker 1: every time somebody has shit with their significant other and
- 39:54Speaker 1: then they want to backtrack, they say it was needed,
- 39:57Speaker 1: like this is a breaking point that we needed.
- 39:59Speaker 2: This is her, that's the default. It was so needed,
- 40:03Speaker 2: Like it's.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Just it really helped us get stronger now so much better.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Now we're so much better than The girls are shocked.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Macey thinks it sounds like Jen has a gun to
- 40:14Speaker 1: her head. She's gone back to pretending everything's perfect. And
- 40:18Speaker 1: then after dinner, the girls plan to go bar hopping.
- 40:21Speaker 2: But I know, I know, like I just love it.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Taylor's on probation, so she's not allowed to go to
- 40:27Speaker 1: any bar, so some of them stay back.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Oh maybe that's why. Do you think that's why they
- 40:32Speaker 2: had to say in the AIRBA beat she not allowed.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Oh I wonder if she's a casino, you're the lawyer,
- 40:39Speaker 1: do something.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Well, I don't know, Okay, let me let me look
- 40:43Speaker 2: up casino, like do your prep work or something. Sorry,
- 40:51Speaker 2: But then Taylor.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Would like to believe it's true. But if it is,
- 40:55Speaker 1: she will leave him in a heartbeat. This is when
- 40:58Speaker 1: Macy Mikaela decided to hang back with Your Taylor aka
- 41:01Speaker 1: break the Confession news, and Macy thinks this is the
- 41:04Speaker 1: best time to tell Taylor about the confession.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Taylor, what what what would be the best time, Like
- 41:10Speaker 2: if you were going to tell a friend something like that,
- 41:12Speaker 2: what would be the best time?
- 41:14Speaker 1: Probably before, like months before when she found out right
- 41:19Speaker 1: play on pror not?
- 41:20Speaker 2: Like holding on to it for months and months and
- 41:23Speaker 2: months waiting for the right time on camera to do it.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Seventeen days before she birthed right when I don't know
- 41:30Speaker 1: was it three months ago? She says to the group.
- 41:33Speaker 1: If she finds out it is true, she's leaving him. No, no,
- 41:36Speaker 1: God forbid, give her a heads up then, So she
- 41:38Speaker 1: could leave him and get her shit in order and
- 41:40Speaker 1: he can get his box of stuff.
- 41:42Speaker 2: No, no, wait it out seventeen wait out better wait,
- 41:45Speaker 2: wait until she's in Vegas about to give birth and
- 41:48Speaker 2: she's not allowed to go in any of the bars
- 41:50Speaker 2: because she's on probation. That's the best time and sweats
- 41:54Speaker 2: and evorable.
- 41:56Speaker 1: And with her stocker boyfriend following her around to all
- 41:59Speaker 1: the filming.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Locations, that's the best time.
- 42:03Speaker 1: But yeah, Taylor wants to believe it's not true, because
- 42:05Speaker 1: if it is, she will leave him in a heartbeat.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Wait, can we just talk about the actual confession?
- 42:10Speaker 1: Though?
- 42:10Speaker 2: The girl Jenna, right, that's her name, supposedly is she
- 42:13Speaker 2: the one that sent it? Do we know that or
- 42:14Speaker 2: we think it might be this girl named Jenna? Well,
- 42:18Speaker 2: we get into this in the next episode. Emily, Okay, sorry,
- 42:21Speaker 2: it's all blurred together. But I just like how she
- 42:23Speaker 2: said accidentally. That's my favorite part of the confession. Yeah,
- 42:26Speaker 2: you accidentally? I hate Wait, do you hate it when
- 42:29Speaker 2: you accidentally sleep with people? I hate when he accidentally
- 42:32Speaker 2: sticks it in? Yeah? What what? I wasn't ready for
- 42:38Speaker 2: that when I took off all.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Naked photos prior. But then Jen starts to recap her
- 42:46Speaker 1: Jen shows up. She wants to She wants everybody to know,
- 42:49Speaker 1: to know that Zach apologized and realized he was wrong.
- 42:52Speaker 1: I was like, if it's not on camera, it didn't happen.
- 42:55Speaker 1: So I don't like, yep, how did she know? How
- 42:59Speaker 1: did she know what bar they were at?
- 43:02Speaker 2: You know what? They all track each other on mom
- 43:05Speaker 2: talk I think.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I mean maybe on snapchat you can always find people's locations.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Maybe they're also snappers.
- 43:11Speaker 1: I can't figure out how to snapchat, but if I could,
- 43:14Speaker 1: I would track where you were right now, because clearly
- 43:16Speaker 1: you're not here, but you're willing to zip on over
- 43:18Speaker 1: to LA for other people.
- 43:21Speaker 2: I am sorry, apparently sorry, I know, sorry about that.
- 43:27Speaker 2: I'm back. Sorry, I'm apologizing, like exacted, sorry, it's all
- 43:31Speaker 2: my fault.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Well, now that your besties with Shena, you can ask
- 43:35Speaker 1: her if she can follow your location, because remember she
- 43:39Speaker 1: follows all of her friends location.
- 43:41Speaker 2: That's right, I'm going to ask her at the end.
- 43:42Speaker 2: I feel like we're gonna bond so much that I'm
- 43:44Speaker 2: gonna be she's going to be following my location. I
- 43:47Speaker 2: don't leave my house though, so it's not very exciting
- 43:50Speaker 2: or need you, I can just ask Seena where you are.
- 43:57Speaker 1: But I also saw that Shena is besties with the
- 43:59Speaker 1: Mom Talk girls.
- 44:00Speaker 2: She did a bunch of tiktoks with them, I know.
- 44:03Speaker 2: And if I show up to do this podcast and
- 44:05Speaker 2: she doesn't ask me to do any tiktoks, I'm gonna
- 44:06Speaker 2: feel really really bad about myself. Well, I gotta tell you.
- 44:10Speaker 1: If you want to be doing tiktoks, you can't be
- 44:12Speaker 1: wearing a cart again.
- 44:13Speaker 2: I can't wish that I wear. No, you have to one.
- 44:17Speaker 1: You have to wear an oversized sweatshirt with some sort
- 44:19Speaker 1: of logo on it.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Okay, and then you know what.
- 44:23Speaker 1: I mean, like you have to really I have to
- 44:25Speaker 1: embrace the light like that you're at home taking care
- 44:28Speaker 1: of the kids. You can't be looking like formal and
- 44:30Speaker 1: like sophisticated.
- 44:33Speaker 2: All right, Oh my gosh, Okay, Okay, I'll change before
- 44:37Speaker 2: I go. I'll downgrade.
- 44:39Speaker 1: You got a down grade and you gotta really or
- 44:42Speaker 1: you could just wear the outfit that Whitney wore when
- 44:45Speaker 1: she when she was bringing the cake, the one with
- 44:49Speaker 1: the pussy bow.
- 44:51Speaker 2: What what was that that she had on? But I'm
- 44:57Speaker 2: gonna find it, And where does she shop. I don't
- 45:00Speaker 2: even understand where you find these outfits.
- 45:02Speaker 1: I don't know, but I feel like we got to
- 45:05Speaker 1: figure it out when we start our old mom talk,
- 45:09Speaker 1: but hashtag old mom talk, old mom talk, old mom talk.
- 45:13Speaker 1: We wear cardigans and baseball caps and what is what
- 45:20Speaker 1: is the our other aesthetics that we do for old moms.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Yeah, we take naps in between content. Oh yeah, naps. Okay,
- 45:33Speaker 2: now we have to do it. I could visualize it.
- 45:35Speaker 2: I could visualize this is this, this TikTok, this real
- 45:39Speaker 2: that we're gonna make.
- 45:40Speaker 1: It's getting annoyed when our kids come in our room
- 45:42Speaker 1: after we've personally gone to bed, like I'll put Dub
- 45:45Speaker 1: to bed, but then if I put Cruise in slaves bed,
- 45:48Speaker 1: and then if they want to come in to talk
- 45:49Speaker 1: to me, and it's like after eight forty, I'm.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Like, what I do the same thing? Annabelt does it.
- 45:54Speaker 2: I'm like, get out, why are you in here? Leave
- 45:56Speaker 2: me alone? We already did all of this, Like this
- 45:58Speaker 2: is my alone talk.
- 46:00Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out this murder on the television
- 46:04Speaker 1: and I can't have you interrupting it. Or now old
- 46:07Speaker 1: moms also watch outer Banks because I'm watching that now,
- 46:11Speaker 1: I've already watched.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Have you watched season four already? No? Not that I
- 46:15Speaker 2: got okay, it was season four. I've done one storgery,
- 46:18Speaker 2: all right, all.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Right, Well, anyways, Jen starts to recap her fight with Zach,
- 46:23Speaker 1: and she says things like, Zach has these narcissistic qualities
- 46:27Speaker 1: that will come out every few months, but who's to
- 46:29Speaker 1: say in another marriage that won't be the same thing.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I truly feel like I've never met someone who loves
- 46:34Speaker 1: me more than him.
- 46:36Speaker 2: She said that, because that's what he says to her.
- 46:38Speaker 2: No one will ever love you like I do. Oh,
- 46:42Speaker 2: that's such.
- 46:46Speaker 1: But then, to me brings up a great point. Jen
- 46:48Speaker 1: got married at twenty.
- 46:49Speaker 2: But I love it. Then I read it, and then
- 46:52Speaker 2: I realized that shady ass.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Yeah, DEMI brings up a point. Jen got married at
- 46:58Speaker 1: twenty before her brain fully developed.
- 47:00Speaker 2: She doesn't know what else is out there for her.
- 47:03Speaker 1: Jesse is very passionate about Jen's situation because she went
- 47:07Speaker 1: through something similar with her ex husband. And then Jesse's
- 47:10Speaker 1: at a point where she never wants to be in
- 47:12Speaker 1: the same room with Zach again. Jen starts sobbing because
- 47:17Speaker 1: it's hard to talk about all of this.
- 47:19Speaker 2: That is hard because you know, she just had a
- 47:21Speaker 2: conversation with Zach where she just like smoothed everything over
- 47:25Speaker 2: and said everything that he needed to hear. And then
- 47:28Speaker 2: she steps into a situation with her girlfriends where they
- 47:30Speaker 2: give her a big dosa reality.
- 47:33Speaker 1: And then she has to figure out more fibbs to
- 47:35Speaker 1: try to make it seem like this was a normal
- 47:38Speaker 1: interaction even though we all saw the text. But this
- 47:43Speaker 1: leads us into the finale. So thank you guys for
- 47:45Speaker 1: tuning in to episode seven of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Stay tuned for old mom talk coming sometime in the
- 47:54Speaker 1: near future.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Then we'll be back next week to recap episode eight.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Thanks for listening.
- 48:03Speaker 3: M m mm hmm.
