- 0:00Speaker 1: Come on, uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody
- 0:06Speaker 1: you're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 0:09Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, okay,
- 0:20Speaker 1: here's what I want to share with you. Stop complaining.
- 0:30Speaker 1: So I had to let you see how I let
- 0:31Speaker 1: that one sit for a second. Stop complaining. Do you realize,
- 0:42Speaker 1: without us even thinking about it, oftentimes we just complain
- 0:47Speaker 1: about stuff and it comes up in such subtle forms. Man,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I don't know why they're still letting that lady work there. Man,
- 0:58Speaker 1: if they don't fire this woman, Man, I don't know
- 1:00Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do. She driving me crazy. She always
- 1:04Speaker 1: got something to say. I bet today though, the way
- 1:11Speaker 1: I'm feeling right now, I bet she better not say
- 1:13Speaker 1: nothing to me today. M h yeah, yeah, because day
- 1:19Speaker 1: it today it. I'm sick of her running in her mouth.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Last time she said something to me, I should have
- 1:26Speaker 1: said something to it. You know what I'm saying. I'm
- 1:29Speaker 1: just giving you a small example of how it starts
- 1:32Speaker 1: to snowball. Once you start to complain, it just carries
- 1:39Speaker 1: over into so many things. Man, Stop complaining about your car,
- 1:44Speaker 1: Stop complaining about your bus pass, Stop complaining about your
- 1:47Speaker 1: kids can't seem to get it together. Stop complaining about
- 1:51Speaker 1: your man can't seem to get it together. Stop complaining.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Stop have you noticed asking? Have you noticed that in
- 2:02Speaker 1: all of your complaining, it has provided not one solution?
- 2:10Speaker 1: The reason I'm telling you to stop complaining because God
- 2:14Speaker 1: is able. Because God is capable. He is capable and
- 2:22Speaker 1: able of fixing anything, Capable and able of curing anything,
- 2:30Speaker 1: Capable and able of allowing you to get to adjusting
- 2:35Speaker 1: to things, and capable and able to strengthen you to
- 2:43Speaker 1: get through and change anything. But the key here is
- 2:49Speaker 1: God is capable, and God is able. A lot of
- 2:53Speaker 1: times I find myself complaining because I have not used
- 2:59Speaker 1: my greatest asset, and that's my relationship with God. You
- 3:03Speaker 1: all have one now. You may not have nurtured it,
- 3:06Speaker 1: but you have one because God created you as his child.
- 3:10Speaker 1: He's available to you now. The fact that you ain't
- 3:13Speaker 1: went to him. Okay, once again, who fought as that?
- 3:17Speaker 1: Stop complaining until you strengthen your relationship with God and
- 3:24Speaker 1: formulate this relationship. You don't have enough weapons. You ain't
- 3:32Speaker 1: got a big enough shield to fight this thing called life.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It just keeps coming. Man, And unless you develop a
- 3:40Speaker 1: relationship with God. You need a partner in all of this.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Maybe you got another route you're gonna take. But every
- 3:48Speaker 1: successful person I know personally has a relationship with God.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I have some really really some people that's kind of
- 4:02Speaker 1: up there in the success term in terms of business
- 4:05Speaker 1: and money and statute. I'm just talking about that portion
- 4:09Speaker 1: of success. And then I have a lot of people
- 4:12Speaker 1: who are very successful in their spiritual life, who have
- 4:16Speaker 1: become great men of God and women of God. But
- 4:21Speaker 1: look at all of them, and all of them have
- 4:23Speaker 1: substantial amounts of you know, possessions and things like that. Also,
- 4:31Speaker 1: most successful people I know have that. Even if you
- 4:36Speaker 1: saw them never with a big lot of house and
- 4:38Speaker 1: a lot of money or stuff like that, they had
- 4:41Speaker 1: so much respect, so much love, so much power was
- 4:48Speaker 1: given them from people that their life was rich in
- 4:53Speaker 1: that area, you know, like Ahma Luther King or something
- 4:57Speaker 1: like that, or Gandhi or somebody who live their life
- 5:00Speaker 1: in service, or Nelson Mandela who came out and just man,
- 5:04Speaker 1: people put stuff at their feet because of their service.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So all successful people I know have that. Every last
- 5:10Speaker 1: one of these people that I know, they have relationship
- 5:14Speaker 1: with God. They use the tool that was available to
- 5:18Speaker 1: them to give them the strength, the bullets, the arrows,
- 5:23Speaker 1: the slings, the shield to fight this thing called life
- 5:27Speaker 1: and have the most valuable partner right there by the
- 5:29Speaker 1: side they Heavenly Father God, because he will help you
- 5:32Speaker 1: get through this thing called life. Man, stop complaining all
- 5:35Speaker 1: the time. It's not fixing anything. Why don't you do
- 5:38Speaker 1: yourself a favor and strengthen your relationship with God? Man,
- 5:42Speaker 1: why can I never get over? Well you have not
- 5:45Speaker 1: because you asked not. Man, how come I always got problems? Well,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you keep trying to solve them yourself and taking them
- 5:51Speaker 1: to your friends. You keep trying to do them with
- 5:53Speaker 1: your own thought process. Who are you? I keep telling you, Man,
- 5:58Speaker 1: you going through stuff you ain't got no business through.
- 6:02Speaker 1: And if it's you going through something over and over
- 6:05Speaker 1: and over and over and the same problem keep coming
- 6:07Speaker 1: back to bite you again. All that's saying is you
- 6:11Speaker 1: still ain't strengthen your relationship with God. He's your relationship.
- 6:15Speaker 1: He's not gonna make you have one with him. He
- 6:18Speaker 1: is a perfect gentleman. He only comes into your life
- 6:22Speaker 1: when you invite a men. But for those who do
- 6:27Speaker 1: invite men, they have a distinct advantage on their road
- 6:30Speaker 1: to success, a distinct advantage. You can do it without him,
- 6:36Speaker 1: Trust me, you can. How far you get. I can't
- 6:39Speaker 1: promise you nothing. How well you handle it when you
- 6:42Speaker 1: arrived there, I can't promise you nothing, how long you
- 6:46Speaker 1: gonna stay there. I can't promise you nothing. How difficult
- 6:50Speaker 1: it is going to be without him. I can't give
- 6:53Speaker 1: you that. It's going to be far more difficult. But
- 6:56Speaker 1: you can. Something can happen, and you, you know, receive
- 7:00Speaker 1: a measure of success, and you think it's you and
- 7:02Speaker 1: this move you made, and you can describe it as
- 7:04Speaker 1: I got lucky. I happen to be in the right
- 7:07Speaker 1: place at the right time. I got lucky. Lucky is
- 7:12Speaker 1: usually how other people describe other people's success. Boy, he
- 7:15Speaker 1: was lucky, he was right there. Well, let me tell
- 7:18Speaker 1: you what lucky is. Lucky is when hard work bumps
- 7:20Speaker 1: up into opportunity. If you've been working hard as something,
- 7:24Speaker 1: the opportunity presents itself that comes a match. That's not luck.
- 7:29Speaker 1: But now, if you haven't done that on a repetitive
- 7:32Speaker 1: enough basis, that opportunity could present itself one time. You
- 7:39Speaker 1: got to reconnect. Stop complaining, man, Come on, listen to me.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Stop complaining. It hasn't fixed a single thing in your life.
- 7:45Speaker 1: And if you're a chronic complainer, it's because you really
- 7:48Speaker 1: really have not fixed your relationship with God. He'll move
- 7:52Speaker 1: it out for you, that I can tell you for
- 7:54Speaker 1: a fact. I know that for a fact he's moved
- 7:56Speaker 1: mine out. All right, let's go. You're listening to the
- 7:59Speaker 1: Steed Harvey Morning Show.
