- 0:07Speaker 1: The Season with Peter Scheger is a production of the
- 0:09Speaker 1: NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio. What's Up, everybody, Welcome to
- 0:24Speaker 1: the Season with Peter Schreger. I am Peter Schreger. I
- 0:27Speaker 1: have a son tan slash, sun burn slash, you know,
- 0:32Speaker 1: patch of sweat all over because I just spent eight
- 0:34Speaker 1: hours at Jets Camp. I'm joined here by Aaron Wang Kaufman,
- 0:38Speaker 1: who is the wonderful producer of this program. Aaron, I
- 0:41Speaker 1: just got back from Flora Park and what did I
- 0:43Speaker 1: tell you? I'm like, we get on the mics. I
- 0:45Speaker 1: want to just do a podcast about my Jets Day
- 0:47Speaker 1: experience for the Jets fans. We made it happen.
- 0:51Speaker 2: We're here.
- 0:51Speaker 1: This was I literally texted Aaron what erin twenty minutes ago.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, basically like we should do it today. I
- 0:58Speaker 3: think we should do it.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Here's the thing about training camp. You go for a
- 1:02Speaker 1: day and then one day is completely different from the
- 1:05Speaker 1: next day. And Monday at Jets Camp was like one
- 1:08Speaker 1: of those treasured practices where there's no fans allowed. It's
- 1:12Speaker 1: close to the fans, so like I felt like I
- 1:15Speaker 1: was in on like a secret society meeting or something.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Like the skull and bones. It was a few people.
- 1:20Speaker 1: There was a couple members of the local Jets media
- 1:23Speaker 1: who were all wonderful. It was Kyle Branton myself, and
- 1:26Speaker 1: then it was just the team and it was practice,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and I will set the stage this way, Aaron. Practice
- 1:34Speaker 1: starts around ten am Eastern and we're doing good morning
- 1:37Speaker 1: football because we're from eight to twelve. But there was
- 1:40Speaker 1: two different blocks where Kyle and I weren't on and
- 1:42Speaker 1: practice about fifty yards away. And I said to our
- 1:44Speaker 1: producer Cody, I'm like, is it cool if Kyle and
- 1:47Speaker 1: I just step off and go check out practice for
- 1:49Speaker 1: a little bit. And he's like, yeah, sure, go dude,
- 1:50Speaker 1: dot do. So I go to Eric Gelfand, who runs
- 1:54Speaker 1: pr and communications for the Jets. I'm like, we want
- 1:56Speaker 1: to go watch practice, but we need credentials can be
- 1:58Speaker 1: like I'll walk, you come with me. So Eric takes
- 2:00Speaker 1: me and Kyle.
- 2:01Speaker 4: We walk.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Not ten seconds to this walk, does a ball come
- 2:05Speaker 1: whizzing at us, bounces right at Kyle's feet, Like what
- 2:08Speaker 1: the hell? Look up and it's Rogers and he's flung
- 2:12Speaker 1: one forty yards at us on purpose and he waves
- 2:15Speaker 1: and he's like, what's up fellows like, hey, Aaron Rodgers,
- 2:18Speaker 1: how are you, buddy? Because of the scheduling of the
- 2:22Speaker 1: practice and our show, he couldn't sit down with us,
- 2:24Speaker 1: so that was his greeting. So then Kyle had this
- 2:26Speaker 1: big moment where it's like the whole team is watching.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Rogers just flung a pass at us. Aaron, what do
- 2:32Speaker 1: you do? Do you pick up the ball and run
- 2:35Speaker 1: it over to him? Do you underhand toss it to
- 2:37Speaker 1: a coach who's nearby Rogers is forty yards away, or
- 2:41Speaker 1: do you just in front of ninety of the biggest
- 2:43Speaker 1: alphas in the world, of the top one percent of
- 2:46Speaker 1: the one percent, do you attempt to pass back? What
- 2:48Speaker 1: would you do?
- 2:49Speaker 3: So as someone who just last week while playing tennis
- 2:52Speaker 3: with my mom a second day in a row, hit
- 2:55Speaker 3: one ball out and had to throw it back over
- 2:57Speaker 3: the fence and just threw the first one back over
- 2:59Speaker 3: totally fine, and the second one I'm.
- 3:01Speaker 1: In at the top of the fence. It comes.
- 3:03Speaker 3: It's very embarrassing. I am not throwing forty I am
- 3:07Speaker 3: running that ball to him.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Kyle Bryant picks up the ball and like we're laughing
- 3:11Speaker 1: because Rogers was like it was a as much as
- 3:13Speaker 1: a sign of affection for someone in the media. Is
- 3:15Speaker 1: Rogers slinging a ball at us, That's what it is.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Kyle cocks it back, and I've seen Kyle throw one
- 3:20Speaker 1: hundred footballs. He throws a forty yard tight spiral whizz
- 3:25Speaker 1: is it back and Rogers catches it with two hands
- 3:28Speaker 1: like this and then gives one of these like a
- 3:29Speaker 1: big like peace sign. And then practice continues, and I'm
- 3:33Speaker 1: like Kyle, and he's like, I don't know what came
- 3:34Speaker 1: over me, Like adrenaline. He looked like Marino. He just
- 3:37Speaker 1: flung it back there.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Aaron.
- 3:39Speaker 1: The vibes are so good at jet Scamp, so good.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I don't know what to do because I feel like
- 3:47Speaker 1: this is one of those deals where it's like, you know,
- 3:51Speaker 1: imagine a woman will say a woman. It could be
- 3:54Speaker 1: a man, but let's just say a woman. I don't
- 3:55Speaker 1: know if when you get canceled for this woman falls
- 3:57Speaker 1: in love with a guy, they get engaged, everything's going right,
- 4:02Speaker 1: and then get stood up at the altar, and then
- 4:05Speaker 1: exactly twelve months to the day, meets another man and
- 4:09Speaker 1: he wants to get engaged.
- 4:12Speaker 2: You hesitate.
- 4:12Speaker 1: If you're that woman, you'd say I had just been
- 4:14Speaker 1: through a really crazy like do you maybe this is
- 4:17Speaker 1: Jets fans right now? They got four plays into the season,
- 4:21Speaker 1: it all went and exploded, and it was disastrous that
- 4:24Speaker 1: it was the worst thing you can imagine. And it's like,
- 4:26Speaker 1: all right, fool me once. I'm not gonna let I'm
- 4:30Speaker 1: not gonna believe again. But Aaron, when I tell you,
- 4:32Speaker 1: I'm at this practice, and the offense is just Christmas
- 4:35Speaker 1: hell in the offensive line, like you can tell the difference,
- 4:39Speaker 1: Like Morgan Moses is out there, it's like an adult
- 4:41Speaker 1: on the offensive line. And you're looking at the different
- 4:44Speaker 1: players on the field and it's Garrett Wilson and Brice Hall,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and then on the other side of the ball, it's
- 4:49Speaker 1: like all Pro after all Pro, and it's Quinn Williams
- 4:54Speaker 1: and his brother Quincy Williams, and then it's Sauce Gardner.
- 4:57Speaker 1: But then, oh yeah, they have CJ. Moseley still and oh,
- 4:59Speaker 1: Solomon Thomas is an absolute, you know, menace in the middle,
- 5:02Speaker 1: and gosh, they have so much talent everywhere at every position.
- 5:06Speaker 1: And and there's Aaron Rodgers, who I don't think throwing
- 5:08Speaker 1: to complete the entire entire practice, I don't know what
- 5:13Speaker 1: to do about these Jets, because I too picked them
- 5:16Speaker 1: to win the AFC East last year. I too had
- 5:20Speaker 1: them go into the Super Bowl until like the last
- 5:21Speaker 1: second when I'm like, I can't pick. I gotst the Chiefs,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and I picked the Chiefs and then four plays in,
- 5:25Speaker 1: Rogers got hurt and it was one of the worst
- 5:26Speaker 1: seasons ever. I was talking with someone within the organization
- 5:32Speaker 1: and I'm like, is it as good as it looks?
- 5:33Speaker 1: And it's like, sh don't even say it out loud,
- 5:36Speaker 1: like that is how everyone feels like it is so good,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and sala isn't talking to the media and like no
- 5:43Speaker 1: one's closer with Robert Sala in the in the media
- 5:46Speaker 1: then me And I'm like, do you want to come
- 5:47Speaker 1: on our show, Good Morning Football. It's a friendly place,
- 5:49Speaker 1: like we'll just talk, we'll just do whatever. And he's like, no,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I'm not doing media. It's all about football right now.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I'm like, all right, respect it. They're dialed in, they're healthy,
- 6:00Speaker 1: everything looks to be clicking, and yet there's this feeling
- 6:03Speaker 1: of like I can't believe because I've been believing for
- 6:07Speaker 1: so long, and it just it blows up in your face.
- 6:11Speaker 1: For this podcast, I don't want to go through the
- 6:14Speaker 1: entire day of practice. What I'm gonna do is I'm
- 6:15Speaker 1: gonna toss to clips of interviews we did while we
- 6:18Speaker 1: were there for Jets camp. And the first one is
- 6:22Speaker 1: a guy that I think is going to be a
- 6:24Speaker 1: breakout star of this season if he wasn't a year ago.
- 6:26Speaker 1: It's the linebacker Quincy Williams. Some backstory on Quincy. He's
- 6:31Speaker 1: a third round pick of the Jaguars, lasted a couple
- 6:33Speaker 1: of years there and then the Jets picked him up.
- 6:35Speaker 1: He's Quinn Williams's brother, all right. The two of them
- 6:39Speaker 1: are brothers. They both play in the same defense. He
- 6:41Speaker 1: was a nickelback in college, meaning he played safety for
- 6:45Speaker 1: the most part, and now he's probably one of the
- 6:47Speaker 1: top three linebackers in the league. He was an All
- 6:49Speaker 1: Pro last year, and when the NFL one hundred released
- 6:51Speaker 1: their top one hundred players over the week, Quincy Williams
- 6:55Speaker 1: was the highest rated Jet at number thirty two. With
- 6:58Speaker 1: no further ado, Here is Kyle brant in Maya's interview
- 7:02Speaker 1: from Good Morning Football Monday with linebacker Quincy Williams.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Here we go for the day by the Law, also
- 7:11Speaker 5: known as Kid low life.
- 7:13Speaker 4: He's hard, but I hear harder. I said hard, but
- 7:19Speaker 4: he's harder.
- 7:21Speaker 2: This is our guy.
- 7:21Speaker 6: Where at jets camp we wanted to find him number
- 7:23Speaker 6: thirty two on the NFL's Top one hundred on All
- 7:27Speaker 6: Pro A legend.
- 7:29Speaker 7: He's about to be a girl. Daddy's got it all
- 7:31Speaker 7: going on. Quincy Williams from the.
- 7:33Speaker 4: New York Chests, what's up? It was good? Do you
- 7:38Speaker 4: want to start over? Let's go nail this.
- 7:42Speaker 7: Life is harder, but Peter hits harder.
- 7:45Speaker 6: Dude, life is sitting hard right now, but life's coming
- 7:47Speaker 6: up great for you. How is life right now? Life
- 7:49Speaker 6: is amazing? Man?
- 7:51Speaker 4: The biggest thaying gives.
- 7:52Speaker 5: Like I said, I got a daughter on the way,
- 7:54Speaker 5: so it's taking my game onto a new level.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Far as life, studying and prepared for season.
- 7:59Speaker 6: Now, we'in't even talking about us off the air, but
- 8:01Speaker 6: we would be willing to share it.
- 8:02Speaker 7: You said, you already have the name picked out for
- 8:04Speaker 7: your daughter.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Yeah, Nova, So nicknames like Supernova.
- 8:09Speaker 7: Supernova Williams, Let's go come on.
- 8:12Speaker 2: This is good. So is what Kyle alluded to the NFL.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Every year does this top one.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Hundred less people debate it and they say, well, this
- 8:18Speaker 1: guy sho hired, this guy the highest rated jet on
- 8:22Speaker 1: the list and number thirty two. When you got that news,
- 8:25Speaker 1: what was your reaction.
- 8:26Speaker 5: Oh, I was amazed for just to be on the
- 8:29Speaker 5: top one hundred period and then be a part of
- 8:31Speaker 5: the top fifty. Man, it was amazing. It was like
- 8:34Speaker 5: one of those things that you dream about and then
- 8:36Speaker 5: you see it and then you actually get it and
- 8:37Speaker 5: you'd be like, all right, it's another level to it.
- 8:41Speaker 7: It's amazing, but not as amazing as your story.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Man.
- 8:44Speaker 6: I think people are starting to learn it now because
- 8:45Speaker 6: you're getting these accolades and you're getting this.
- 8:47Speaker 7: You're not Quinnon's brother like you were back in the day.
- 8:51Speaker 6: You thirty two in the NFL, but you're also number
- 8:54Speaker 6: one in the NFL in terms of swimming ability.
- 8:57Speaker 7: You guys got a smile on his face, So this
- 8:59Speaker 7: is crazy.
- 9:00Speaker 6: We got the Olympics going on right now, we're seeing
- 9:02Speaker 6: Katy Lidecki went gold.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Maz All right.
- 9:05Speaker 6: There was a moment in time when you sat there
- 9:08Speaker 6: and saying, should I pursue swimming and go to the
- 9:10Speaker 6: Olympics or pursue the football?
- 9:12Speaker 8: Try to go to the NFL? Can you take us
- 9:13Speaker 8: back there. Actually it's the Origin story. I mean just
- 9:16Speaker 8: just posted an Origin store for me yesterday, So it's
- 9:19Speaker 8: kind of like a small documentary. So it tells a
- 9:22Speaker 8: lot about that. They did a great time like handling that.
- 9:26Speaker 8: But basically when I got to high school, it was
- 9:30Speaker 8: all you got to pick a chance to go to college,
- 9:32Speaker 8: like you can't do both. My grandma sent me down.
- 9:34Speaker 5: It was like losing weight and gaining weight for a
- 9:36Speaker 5: football season, but then losing weight for swimming was kind of.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Like, all right, it's unheard of. So I did it for.
- 9:42Speaker 5: A little while, and then I got to my freshman
- 9:44Speaker 5: year and I was like, dangn bro, this junk actually
- 9:47Speaker 5: kind of hard, Like I'm gonna have to pick. So
- 9:49Speaker 5: then it was like which one can I go to
- 9:50Speaker 5: college for? Then come to find out I can go
- 9:52Speaker 5: to college for both of them, so I was like
- 9:54Speaker 5: all right, bet. So then I was like which one
- 9:55Speaker 5: am I gonna have fun in? And then boom, I'm
- 9:58Speaker 5: gonna have fun at both of them. So I was
- 9:59Speaker 5: like which one is my siblings in? So my brother's
- 10:01Speaker 5: playing football, my younger brother's playing football. Givunie's playing football also,
- 10:06Speaker 5: so was like that I'm gonna pick football. So both
- 10:08Speaker 5: my brothers are on the same team, me and high school,
- 10:10Speaker 5: so we played football. So I stuck to the football
- 10:13Speaker 5: like you were nice and swimming r Yeah, so breadstroke
- 10:19Speaker 5: butterfly was my weekend freestyle. Freestyle, love freestyle, backstroke. I
- 10:26Speaker 5: like that when to counter flags and having my stroke together.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Have you been watching the Olympics and yeah from France.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I've been watching for real, I've been watching. I
- 10:34Speaker 5: think he didn't have anyone in the in the picture
- 10:37Speaker 5: when he was.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Just him in the home pool. Yeah, that was amazing.
- 10:40Speaker 7: Watching, like, you know, the football's going really well.
- 10:42Speaker 4: I still got it. I feel like. Yeah.
- 10:44Speaker 5: So I trained at Doctor Reef in Florida and we
- 10:47Speaker 5: had a guy who was training just doing like some
- 10:49Speaker 5: swimming and I raced him.
- 10:50Speaker 4: So I wanted doctor you still got that video there
- 10:52Speaker 4: for real because we want to see you in.
- 10:54Speaker 6: The pool for Birmingham, Alabama. You're growing up, you're swimming,
- 10:57Speaker 6: and you were dominant. You could have gone to the Olympics,
- 10:58Speaker 6: right for real.
- 11:00Speaker 4: The whole thing like every day having to shave your
- 11:06Speaker 4: or so you can be dynamic. He did that.
- 11:10Speaker 2: This is incredible.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I love it and we love what this Jets defense
- 11:13Speaker 1: has been coming as well. It's it's it's collection of
- 11:16Speaker 1: stars but also personalities. What's the vibe in the locker
- 11:19Speaker 1: room as we head into twenty twenty four, especially on
- 11:20Speaker 1: the defensive side.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Of the ball, man, It's amazing.
- 11:22Speaker 5: It's the biggest thing, and this year is we're focusing
- 11:25Speaker 5: on the standard. So last year number one defense coming
- 11:28Speaker 5: out and our so the biggest thing hold withholding that
- 11:31Speaker 5: standard and building.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Off from next year.
- 11:33Speaker 5: So the biggest thing we can build off from next year.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Is really focusing on ourselves.
- 11:38Speaker 5: That's the main thing, and being the best defense we
- 11:40Speaker 5: can be every single week, So that's the main thing.
- 11:42Speaker 4: And not hurting ourselves.
- 11:45Speaker 2: You know.
- 11:45Speaker 6: One of the things that you've become known for, Like
- 11:48Speaker 6: if you type your name into Google, one of the
- 11:50Speaker 6: little things that suggests is Quincy Williams's uppercut uppercut? Can
- 11:55Speaker 6: you tell us about the upper cut celebration? What's going
- 11:57Speaker 6: on here?
- 11:58Speaker 4: So it's kind of like it's.
- 11:59Speaker 5: A street fight or uppercut, But in my head, it's
- 12:01Speaker 5: a mortal komback Mindset' gotting this type mindset, so bigtality
- 12:05Speaker 5: most like big hits or like minus plays, or like
- 12:10Speaker 5: tackle for losses, and so you know, people.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Have their head down like they'd be like dang or
- 12:14Speaker 4: be like a So think about it. It's the upcuts.
- 12:16Speaker 4: So I'm picking the head up.
- 12:20Speaker 6: When you were more on combat, like were you were
- 12:22Speaker 6: you some zero? You scoped Johnny Cage, like who was
- 12:24Speaker 6: who was Johnny Cage.
- 12:25Speaker 5: Just because he was like he had the hands. Really
- 12:27Speaker 5: all the other ones got like weapons and stuff like that.
- 12:29Speaker 5: Johnny Cage coming out of there.
- 12:30Speaker 8: Straight hands and Johnny Cage will knock you out and
- 12:32Speaker 8: then he'll just be like, yo, that's always saves.
- 12:39Speaker 4: Like person speaking of what you got?
- 12:41Speaker 6: This this amazing TA I want to ask you about
- 12:43Speaker 6: can you put your forearms up?
- 12:45Speaker 4: You're talking so if.
- 12:46Speaker 6: You can see us half human, half amazings to take
- 12:51Speaker 6: us through this Clinton.
- 12:52Speaker 5: So the half human have amazing actually came from my
- 12:54Speaker 5: brother Coinnen, his favorite rappers Kevin Gates, So he always
- 12:58Speaker 5: says half human, half amazing.
- 12:59Speaker 4: So when I actually thought about like the.
- 13:01Speaker 5: Stuff I've been through, everybody'll be like, oh, you're amazing,
- 13:04Speaker 5: You're amazing all this kind of stuff. And on the field,
- 13:07Speaker 5: everybody's like the players you make are amazing.
- 13:09Speaker 4: But then off the field, I'm still human.
- 13:11Speaker 5: So that's kind of like my mind said, So it's
- 13:12Speaker 5: like half human, half amazing. So it's like having another
- 13:16Speaker 5: personality far as like getting off the field. Well, I'm
- 13:18Speaker 5: like this aggressive player till now I'm a girl dad.
- 13:22Speaker 4: So if my half is my half human part, we love.
- 13:26Speaker 7: We love Quinn.
- 13:27Speaker 6: How's Quinn taking being the second best football player in
- 13:29Speaker 6: the family. Come on, this guy is amazing, man, I'm
- 13:32Speaker 6: just taking that.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Man, he's still number one.
- 13:34Speaker 5: I'm be trying to tell people b Quinn is a
- 13:36Speaker 5: better football player than I am. Like he knows the
- 13:38Speaker 5: game or like he teaches me a lot for real.
- 13:40Speaker 7: So that's pretty cool though thirty joke.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Still I still talk to him about it. This year,
- 13:46Speaker 4: I got you. This year, I'm better than you. Yeah.
- 13:51Speaker 1: My last question is about New York City and New
- 13:54Speaker 1: York in this market. You guys have all this media spotlight,
- 13:57Speaker 1: You've got all these expectations.
- 14:00Speaker 2: How do you like living up here?
- 14:01Speaker 1: As I got from Birmingham, who, of course spent the
- 14:03Speaker 1: off season in Florida.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Man, it's totally different.
- 14:05Speaker 6: Man.
- 14:06Speaker 5: In Birmingham is a lot of like trees and stuff
- 14:08Speaker 5: like that, a lot of grass, and then you get
- 14:10Speaker 5: to New York and it's a lot of seamen and
- 14:12Speaker 5: a lot of buildings.
- 14:13Speaker 4: So it's a different scenery. Number One, the traffic is crazier.
- 14:16Speaker 5: You know, getting like a breath of fresh air in
- 14:18Speaker 5: Alabama and all of a sudden you got your windows
- 14:21Speaker 5: rolled up because you're in the tunnel with cars and
- 14:22Speaker 5: stuff like that.
- 14:23Speaker 4: So it really just getting used to that. But man,
- 14:26Speaker 4: the atmosphere is amazing. It's always something to do in
- 14:28Speaker 4: the city. That's the most important thing.
- 14:30Speaker 5: Whether I mean anything, bro, whatever, whatever you want to
- 14:33Speaker 5: do is in the city, like it's in some part
- 14:35Speaker 5: of the city, like it's all there.
- 14:37Speaker 4: So it's like a one stop shot for real.
- 14:39Speaker 7: So much though, right.
- 14:41Speaker 6: Love that we saw We saw Patrick Willis go in
- 14:45Speaker 6: the Hall of Fame. This weekend, we got Lawrence Taylor,
- 14:48Speaker 6: the Lake Dick Buckets, your favorite player. None of them
- 14:51Speaker 6: have anything on the one hundred meter breastroke right here.
- 14:54Speaker 6: And by the way, football's coming to to that type
- 14:56Speaker 6: of heights. He is that good. He is in the
- 14:57Speaker 6: right spot. Watch out for this guy. Quincy Williams, the
- 15:00Speaker 6: father of Nova on the way, you're the back.
- 15:03Speaker 7: So great to have you, man, great player must be
- 15:06Speaker 7: after this.
- 15:07Speaker 1: So that's Quincy Williams now Aaron. A lot of times
- 15:12Speaker 1: we hear about these guys having great, decorated high school
- 15:15Speaker 1: baseball or basketball careers. When I tell you that Quincy
- 15:18Speaker 1: Williams had a decision to pursue a swimming career or
- 15:23Speaker 1: a football career and chose football, is it not? Is
- 15:26Speaker 1: there and he's great at football, He's an All Pro,
- 15:28Speaker 1: he's gonna make millions of dollars, he's generationally generationally wealthy.
- 15:31Speaker 1: It's the right decision. But when you hear that this
- 15:34Speaker 1: guy in Birmingham, Alabama was the best swimmer in the
- 15:36Speaker 1: state and like has a beautiful does it not make
- 15:39Speaker 1: you think what could have been if Quincy Williams just
- 15:42Speaker 1: chased his dream to be a professional swimmer and to
- 15:44Speaker 1: maybe go to the Olympics, How cool that would have been.
- 15:46Speaker 3: I would just be scared if I was, you know,
- 15:48Speaker 3: at the local pool doing laps and the person I'm
- 15:51Speaker 3: sharing laps with, like the lane that I'm in, is
- 15:54Speaker 3: also an NFL player. The size of that person coming
- 15:57Speaker 3: at me in the lat pool would terrify me.
- 16:00Speaker 1: It's a cool visual too. We got the video. We
- 16:03Speaker 1: eventually got the video and I'll post it on my
- 16:06Speaker 1: Twitter Instagram. But Quincy's got like a beautiful strike. It's
- 16:08Speaker 1: like watching Caleb Dressel, but he's an African American dude
- 16:12Speaker 1: with like green hair down.
- 16:14Speaker 2: To his shoulders.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Another thing with Quincy, which is cool, He's got the
- 16:18Speaker 1: Joker tattoo, but it's on his fizz.
- 16:20Speaker 4: It's on his hand.
- 16:21Speaker 1: So does this thing where he covers it and it's
- 16:23Speaker 1: like the Joker smile. Yeah, the lips and I'm like, Okay,
- 16:26Speaker 1: this guy's got a personality. One of our favorite guys
- 16:36Speaker 1: in the league is an eight year veteran. He has
- 16:38Speaker 1: been with Robert Sala in San Francisco and now is
- 16:40Speaker 1: with Robert Sala in the Jets. Aaron, You'll take a
- 16:45Speaker 1: liking to this guy because he presented a Tony Award
- 16:48Speaker 1: this year at the Tony's. Solomon Thomas one of the
- 16:51Speaker 1: great players in the NFL and also the Jets nominee
- 16:55Speaker 1: for Walter Payton Man of the Year. Let's toss to
- 16:57Speaker 1: the interview with Solomon Thomas earlier today.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Welcome back to GMFB.
- 17:00Speaker 1: We are here at Jets camp, and we're here as
- 17:02Speaker 1: one of our favorite players in the league going into
- 17:04Speaker 1: his eighth year in the nf fell also the Jets
- 17:07Speaker 1: Walter Payton Man of the Year nomine from last year.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Friend of the Show, Solomon Thomas Day, we know what.
- 17:13Speaker 7: It's great to see him.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I'm great, I'm great. How are y'all doing.
- 17:16Speaker 7: We're good. We got to get right to business though
- 17:17Speaker 7: we're here at Jets camp. The season is about to start.
- 17:21Speaker 6: I need you to explain in great detail to Peter,
- 17:23Speaker 6: who knows nothing, tell us about the Accolyte.
- 17:26Speaker 7: Solomon, let's go.
- 17:28Speaker 2: What is the Acolyte?
- 17:29Speaker 9: Okay, The Acolyde is a new Star Wars show in
- 17:31Speaker 9: Disney Plus. Okay, it is very entertaining.
- 17:34Speaker 2: I love it.
- 17:34Speaker 9: We got some great five battles, great saber battles. We
- 17:37Speaker 9: get some new Sith Lords who are really fun to watch.
- 17:40Speaker 1: The Sith Lord he's.
- 17:43Speaker 7: Oh my god, I'm telling you who's who's on his
- 17:48Speaker 7: shirt right now.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I know George Lucas, I know Obi Wan Kenobi, and
- 17:51Speaker 1: I know Luke.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Sky what you're in. I'm very into it.
- 17:57Speaker 9: I mean, I'm I'm a Star Wars junkie, So any
- 17:59Speaker 9: show that comes out like I'm happy to watch. Like
- 18:02Speaker 9: you know, Star Wars fans are very critical so, but
- 18:04Speaker 9: I thought it was a very entertaining show.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I'm happy with it. You know, it's not really what
- 18:07Speaker 2: the Star Wars universe, but I'm about because Kinya would
- 18:09Speaker 2: come in on Monday morning.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Did you see Mandalorian, I'm like, I don't even know
- 18:12Speaker 1: what that works.
- 18:15Speaker 6: If you don't know mandal I even know Acolytes, the
- 18:18Speaker 6: words are getting exotic.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Mando rand walks Acoe could run.
- 18:23Speaker 2: That's right, speaking about walking, stop the run stopped.
- 18:27Speaker 1: The eighth year in the league, we remember when you
- 18:30Speaker 1: got drafted by San Francisco. What's it like going into
- 18:32Speaker 1: year eight as opposed to years one, two, and three.
- 18:34Speaker 9: I mean, it's really cool, Like to be in this
- 18:36Speaker 9: league is a blessing, Like I love this work so much,
- 18:38Speaker 9: Like you put so much into it to be here
- 18:40Speaker 9: in your eight I'm it's really cool to be a veteran,
- 18:43Speaker 9: to be a leader on these guys, to show them
- 18:44Speaker 9: the way. I'm gonna take that as a big responsibility,
- 18:46Speaker 9: to show them how to take care of their body,
- 18:48Speaker 9: how to eat, how to conduct themselves on the field.
- 18:50Speaker 9: I'm going to just off the field too, Like I've
- 18:52Speaker 9: learned a lot throughout my career, like you know, using
- 18:53Speaker 9: a sports like coologist, being in therapy and how that's
- 18:56Speaker 9: really changed my life and made me a better football player.
- 18:58Speaker 9: Just investing in myself personally, so you know, it's really cool.
- 19:01Speaker 9: And then to be a part of a team like
- 19:02Speaker 9: this in New York, in New Jersey, I'm one of
- 19:04Speaker 9: the coolest places in the world. So you know, I'm
- 19:07Speaker 9: just really happy to be here and really happy for
- 19:09Speaker 9: the season. It's gonna be a gret year.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Is it?
- 19:10Speaker 2: Crazy? Being like the old head in the room now
- 19:12Speaker 2: and you can't og and old Oh.
- 19:15Speaker 9: I got one of our players, our young rookies, told
- 19:18Speaker 9: me that when I was my first in the league,
- 19:20Speaker 9: he was a freshman in high school and that kind
- 19:22Speaker 9: of hurt the herd.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:24Speaker 6: So so something you know, like like Sauce, I think
- 19:27Speaker 6: is Sauce is like twenty three years Yeah, crazy like that.
- 19:29Speaker 6: How do you relate to all those guys, especially on
- 19:31Speaker 6: defense they are so young?
- 19:33Speaker 9: Just football, Like, you know, football brings everyone so close,
- 19:35Speaker 9: like the grind of it, you know, waking up early,
- 19:37Speaker 9: staying in late, you know, just just loving the competition.
- 19:40Speaker 9: Like we all relate on that level. So no matter
- 19:42Speaker 9: what the age, like, no matter like if they know
- 19:44Speaker 9: new new terminology, new language, like they keep us up
- 19:47Speaker 9: to date.
- 19:47Speaker 2: But it's it's all fun.
- 19:49Speaker 9: Like we all love competing, we all love being together,
- 19:51Speaker 9: so we all relate on that level and we're all
- 19:53Speaker 9: like this team's really is a family.
- 19:54Speaker 2: It's really cool to be a part of us.
- 19:56Speaker 7: If you ever want to feel young, you can just
- 19:57Speaker 7: point them to the quarterback like I was in.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Kindergarten, right exactly exactly. You go back all the way
- 20:05Speaker 2: with Salah.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Obviously you got we're together in San Francisco and then
- 20:08Speaker 1: he comes to the Jets, and you come, Salah going
- 20:11Speaker 1: into this year, how has he been as we haven't
- 20:13Speaker 1: had much you know, interaction with him and as socially
- 20:16Speaker 1: on our show this morning, we're gonna get a chance
- 20:18Speaker 1: to watch practice, But what's Sala been like going into
- 20:20Speaker 1: this pivotal year.
- 20:21Speaker 9: He's really excited. I mean he's really bringing you know,
- 20:23Speaker 9: Saula is a very passionate person. He's very energetic. He's
- 20:27Speaker 9: he loves a game, so he really bleeds that into
- 20:29Speaker 9: us and he wants us to care about the little
- 20:30Speaker 9: things like love and regard for each other, Like how
- 20:32Speaker 9: are you gonna fight for your teammate? In the fourth quarter, Like,
- 20:34Speaker 9: how are you gonna show up with with the little details?
- 20:36Speaker 9: Are the receivers in the block down the field on
- 20:39Speaker 9: long runs, the receivers in a show full speed on
- 20:42Speaker 9: certain routes to get other guys open, like certain things
- 20:44Speaker 9: like that, to really be a team, because this game
- 20:46Speaker 9: is really hard. Right now, everyone's saying the same thing
- 20:48Speaker 9: super Bowl Champs. Details, But what is really gonna separate you?
- 20:51Speaker 9: And I think that's that love and regard for each
- 20:53Speaker 9: other that he consistently preaches to us. I think that's
- 20:55Speaker 9: what's gonna make it special.
- 20:57Speaker 5: You.
- 20:57Speaker 7: You always do. You look great physically.
- 21:00Speaker 6: I mean you were one of the most jacked dudes
- 21:02Speaker 6: in the league, Like you have the bosas and now
- 21:04Speaker 6: Aaron Donald's gone, and it's honest, Solom Thomas, it's you.
- 21:07Speaker 7: But also, you know, we do things a little different.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Good Morning Football.
- 21:10Speaker 6: At one point we did a ranking of the head
- 21:13Speaker 6: coaches in the NFL based on fitness. Okay, okay, and
- 21:16Speaker 6: three we had Dan Campbell, two we had Sean McDermott
- 21:19Speaker 6: Division rival, but number one we got Bobby Solid ring.
- 21:22Speaker 7: Out the Florida rash from the golf course. I mean,
- 21:25Speaker 7: what is it like to have a head coach in
- 21:27Speaker 7: the NFL who looks like this.
- 21:29Speaker 6: He looks like you.
- 21:30Speaker 2: I mean, walking in this morning. You know who's in
- 21:32Speaker 2: the weight room? Coach Solid?
- 21:33Speaker 7: What's he doing?
- 21:34Speaker 9: I mean I saw him doing the shoulder raises. But
- 21:36Speaker 9: I mean I'm talking, I'm talking about what time is that? Yeah,
- 21:41Speaker 9: But I think he kind of influences the coaches being
- 21:43Speaker 9: there too. Sometimes you see a lot of the coaches
- 21:44Speaker 9: that are lifting, so I think the whole squad is
- 21:46Speaker 9: kind of trying to get some of that, you know,
- 21:48Speaker 9: Coach Solid in him.
- 21:49Speaker 7: We asked him, We're like, coach, like, is there a
- 21:50Speaker 7: is there a supplement you can suggest? When he goes
- 21:52Speaker 7: he's ad. All I take is phw what the he.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Pure?
- 21:57Speaker 5: Hard work?
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean trying to.
- 22:00Speaker 7: Play for a guy who's that committed physically when he
- 22:03Speaker 7: doesn't even have to be. That must motivate you in
- 22:05Speaker 7: a different way.
- 22:05Speaker 9: I mean a as you see your coach and they're working,
- 22:07Speaker 9: I mean getting after it. You know, you have no
- 22:09Speaker 9: excuse not to be, and they're doing the same thing,
- 22:11Speaker 9: you know.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Okay, So going from the weight room and sala to
- 22:15Speaker 1: a totally different stage. I'm sitting there Kyle knows I'm
- 22:19Speaker 1: a Broadway guys.
- 22:21Speaker 4: The middle of June, I've got it on.
- 22:23Speaker 2: I'm like the Outsider is gonna win this year?
- 22:25Speaker 1: And watching it and the Solomon Thomas presenting a Tony Awards.
- 22:29Speaker 2: What was that like?
- 22:30Speaker 4: How'd that come to me?
- 22:31Speaker 9: That was like one of the coolest experiences in the world.
- 22:33Speaker 9: I have to shout out you know, Jack Upton, Ellie,
- 22:35Speaker 9: Ellie Kaplan at Cia for really making that happen. And
- 22:37Speaker 9: it's all my Broadway people.
- 22:38Speaker 2: But to be a part of me I really do.
- 22:43Speaker 9: Just to be a part of their special Knight really
- 22:44Speaker 9: meant the world to me. They work so hard, they're
- 22:46Speaker 9: so talented. There's some of the most special people in
- 22:48Speaker 9: the world to me, So to be there and to
- 22:49Speaker 9: be able to present with Nate was it was so
- 22:51Speaker 9: cool And I love those people.
- 22:54Speaker 2: You know.
- 22:55Speaker 9: I think there's so much that relates from Broadway to football.
- 22:57Speaker 9: You know that that mental aspect. They perform eight shows
- 23:00Speaker 9: a week. To me, that's like doing eight games a week,
- 23:02Speaker 9: and then how to be in that focus, like when
- 23:03Speaker 9: things go wrong, how to keep going, how to be present,
- 23:06Speaker 9: how to you know, feed off of each other. It's
- 23:08Speaker 9: like a family back there. But you know, I've learned
- 23:10Speaker 9: a lot from you know, my Broadway people got a
- 23:11Speaker 9: shot out my guy who q kills from Back to
- 23:14Speaker 9: the Future. He really teaches me a lot about the
- 23:16Speaker 9: football theater relationship touch. We keep in touch and he
- 23:20Speaker 9: teaches me certain things. He was like, you know, every
- 23:23Speaker 9: time I go out on the show, I have to
- 23:24Speaker 9: make their audience believe something that isn't real is real.
- 23:27Speaker 9: And like, you know, he was teaching me, like that,
- 23:28Speaker 9: how I can do that in football, and like how
- 23:30Speaker 9: I can sell that passion, How I can sell like
- 23:32Speaker 9: you know, certain moves and stuff like that, and and
- 23:34Speaker 9: just to be present and to be give myself all
- 23:37Speaker 9: for each play or each game. And you know, I
- 23:39Speaker 9: love those guys. They really mean a lot to me.
- 23:41Speaker 9: And I love my Broadway community.
- 23:42Speaker 1: We're telling Akbar, who is our co host of the show,
- 23:45Speaker 1: like we love Broadway.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Kyle.
- 23:47Speaker 1: It's the best of the best in the world at
- 23:48Speaker 1: what they do.
- 23:49Speaker 2: And you have to say, Renal Rodgers respects it too,
- 23:51Speaker 2: no doubt.
- 23:52Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean it's a one percent of the world
- 23:54Speaker 9: doing that, and they work relentlessly and it is it
- 23:57Speaker 9: is crazy. They it's a year long. They get like
- 23:59Speaker 9: fourteen days off for eight shows a week. It is NonStop,
- 24:03Speaker 9: and they they just keep going. Their high energy people,
- 24:05Speaker 9: you know, the ziastic no matter what. Like after a show,
- 24:08Speaker 9: like I'm very thankful, Like I have connections, I'll bring
- 24:10Speaker 9: you backstage. I'm going to meet certain people. And they're
- 24:12Speaker 9: just so excited for life. I'm like, dude, after a game,
- 24:14Speaker 9: I'm not meeting anyone.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I want to go home. I want to get my.
- 24:17Speaker 9: Normal sex and go to sleep, like and they're just
- 24:19Speaker 9: like they're they're full of life. They're they're really special people.
- 24:22Speaker 7: Incredible.
- 24:22Speaker 6: Well, Broadway once, by the time had a West Side story.
- 24:25Speaker 6: We here in the AFC East have jets bills. Yeah, okay,
- 24:28Speaker 6: those are our jets and our sharks. So there's a
- 24:31Speaker 6: lot of theatricality with the bills too. I think, particularly
- 24:33Speaker 6: you guys is a d line guy. I look at
- 24:35Speaker 6: the bills, O line.
- 24:36Speaker 2: There's a guy there. It's huge, dude.
- 24:38Speaker 6: He calls himself the Shnowman, Dean Dawkins, A right blah
- 24:41Speaker 6: blah blah blah blah, and like we're all.
- 24:43Speaker 7: Kind of smiling.
- 24:44Speaker 6: There's a quote from Dion I'm just gonna read this
- 24:46Speaker 6: is a Broadway the notebook.
- 24:48Speaker 7: Okay, I have it right here. I'm not off books. Sorry, everybody.
- 24:51Speaker 7: This is Dion on the Jets. I hate them, all
- 24:54Speaker 7: of them.
- 24:54Speaker 6: There's people who play the sport because they love the sport,
- 24:57Speaker 6: and there's people who play the sport just to be cool.
- 24:59Speaker 7: Those are a bunch of guys who just want to
- 25:01Speaker 7: take pictures on Ig. That's whack. Now, that's Dion Dawkins.
- 25:05Speaker 7: That's his monologue. And then you come on stage, you
- 25:07Speaker 7: get your spot. Like, but what's your response as your
- 25:09Speaker 7: character on the Broadway stage.
- 25:11Speaker 9: I'm a Broadway stage. I'm more of a person who
- 25:13Speaker 9: actually let my play do the talking. I do think
- 25:15Speaker 9: it's interesting a guy telling us that, you know, we
- 25:17Speaker 9: like to take Ig pictures when he's on podcasts with
- 25:19Speaker 9: his shirt off, and you know, you know, so you
- 25:22Speaker 9: know that's interesting. But that's just my opinion. But I'm
- 25:25Speaker 9: a guy who you know, we'll see him a couple
- 25:26Speaker 9: of times a year, so I'll be.
- 25:27Speaker 7: Fun a couple of times the year.
- 25:29Speaker 2: That's good.
- 25:30Speaker 6: This guy's the best, awesome tell us you know, I
- 25:32Speaker 6: know you do it so much work with mental health,
- 25:34Speaker 6: and you really become known for that outside of football.
- 25:37Speaker 6: What can people learn about what you're doing right now.
- 25:39Speaker 6: I know you're doing a lot of work, so tell
- 25:40Speaker 6: the people go ahead.
- 25:41Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean, you know my family that we have
- 25:43Speaker 9: the foundation called the Defensive Line. You can check us
- 25:45Speaker 9: out at thedefensive line dot org.
- 25:47Speaker 2: But you know, we do a lot of work.
- 25:48Speaker 9: We go around a certain schools, businesses, and you know,
- 25:50Speaker 9: we teach teachers, coaches, anyone, mentor of youth how to
- 25:54Speaker 9: you know, really be equipped with mental health, how to
- 25:56Speaker 9: teach our students, how to take care of them, how
- 25:57Speaker 9: to create environment where everyone one could be safe, you know,
- 25:59Speaker 9: connecting with their local resources and know where therapy is, counseling, meditation, journally,
- 26:04Speaker 9: whatever it is that you need to keep people here.
- 26:06Speaker 9: I've been very fortunate my life to learn from you know,
- 26:09Speaker 9: my sister dying by suicide and learn how to you know,
- 26:11Speaker 9: and going through my own mental journey and being in
- 26:13Speaker 9: a dark place and getting out of the dark place
- 26:15Speaker 9: from therapy. So I go around like letting people know
- 26:17Speaker 9: it's okay not to be okay, that you know, it's
- 26:19Speaker 9: okay to get help. Getting help is the most you know,
- 26:21Speaker 9: couragous thing you can do for yourself. So every day
- 26:23Speaker 9: you know, I'm trying to live a life to encourage
- 26:25Speaker 9: people to be here, to stay here, and suicide is
- 26:27Speaker 9: the most preventable death, but people are afraid to talk
- 26:29Speaker 9: about it. But in the end of the day, like
- 26:31Speaker 9: everyone is going through it, and it is so important
- 26:33Speaker 9: to be vulnerable to understand that is strength to make
- 26:36Speaker 9: sure we create an environment where people can have safe places,
- 26:38Speaker 9: can stay here and be here. It's one of the
- 26:40Speaker 9: greatest responsibilities in my life to be a mentalth advocate,
- 26:42Speaker 9: to go around the world talking about this work because
- 26:45Speaker 9: there's not enough men who do it.
- 26:47Speaker 2: There's enough people who.
- 26:48Speaker 9: Do it who look like me, who are big, strong players,
- 26:50Speaker 9: who you know, I'm a sensitive person. I go through depression,
- 26:53Speaker 9: i go through anxiety. I've been through hard times. To
- 26:55Speaker 9: understand that's okay, Like, we don't have to live this
- 26:57Speaker 9: life where you know, everything is like you all highlight
- 26:59Speaker 9: social media, you know all good like life is about
- 27:02Speaker 9: the ups and down, it's about the sad times. And
- 27:04Speaker 9: we can realize that you can be sad and you
- 27:05Speaker 9: can be anxious and still have a good day, and
- 27:07Speaker 9: I understand that you're not crazy for that. You know,
- 27:09Speaker 9: that's when you understand the real beauty of life.
- 27:12Speaker 7: Beautiful, beautiful. We love you, man, We really do.
- 27:14Speaker 2: We love guards guy.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Awesome player, renaissance man, Solomon Thomas, thanks for joining us.
- 27:21Speaker 4: Man, have a great day, Mace Wind.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Thank you for.
- 27:25Speaker 1: My favorite character. I'm rooting for Sally.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Uh.
- 27:28Speaker 1: You know, he really walks the walk. In addition to
- 27:32Speaker 1: talking the talk his work with the Mental Health space.
- 27:35Speaker 1: In the mental health space, he said he did a
- 27:36Speaker 1: thirty five minute keynote speech. He referenced it in his
- 27:41Speaker 1: in his interview. His sister is a victim of suicide,
- 27:45Speaker 1: and Solomon Thomas has taken that and instead of putting
- 27:49Speaker 1: it in a corner or running away, has said, I
- 27:52Speaker 1: want to speak to everyone out there who deals with depression,
- 27:55Speaker 1: who also deals with family members who have succumb to
- 27:58Speaker 1: such a fate. And I think he's a beautiful man.
- 28:00Speaker 1: And he says it, He's like, I look like this.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I'm a football player, but I have down times. I've
- 28:05Speaker 1: gone through some downtime and I'd love to be able to,
- 28:09Speaker 1: you know, speak on it's okay to say you're not okay.
- 28:11Speaker 1: It just an unbelievable guy. And I remember him when
- 28:14Speaker 1: he was drafted and you know this is a guy
- 28:15Speaker 1: who's number three overall pick. So you're talking about someone
- 28:19Speaker 1: who's you know, quote unquote a bust. And meanwhile you
- 28:22Speaker 1: talk to the Jets and they're like, he's the ultimate pro,
- 28:24Speaker 1: He's the face of our team.
- 28:25Speaker 7: He's one of the veterans.
- 28:27Speaker 1: We love this guy and so happy for him that
- 28:29Speaker 1: he's found a place in New Jersey with the Jets
- 28:31Speaker 1: where he could be himself and is thriving. Our last
- 28:42Speaker 1: interview of the day is with maybe the best pure
- 28:45Speaker 1: talent on the defense and a guy who he has
- 28:47Speaker 1: fallen in love with the past two years. He's twenty
- 28:51Speaker 1: three years old and he's one of the only household
- 28:54Speaker 1: names that just goes by one name in football with
- 28:57Speaker 1: no further ado. Here's Sauce, Mister Sauce Gardner. We're here
- 29:01Speaker 1: with one of our favorite players in the league, one
- 29:03Speaker 1: of the biggest stars in the league. And he's right here,
- 29:05Speaker 1: and he's in our in Sauce Garner with sandals that
- 29:08Speaker 1: say SG. You can't see him there on the camera,
- 29:11Speaker 1: but incredible.
- 29:12Speaker 7: You look great.
- 29:13Speaker 4: How you feeling right now?
- 29:13Speaker 2: Dare I feel great?
- 29:14Speaker 10: You know it's training camp, but you know I was
- 29:17Speaker 10: telling the cornerbacks we just got.
- 29:18Speaker 2: To not make the not make it too much.
- 29:20Speaker 7: You know.
- 29:21Speaker 10: I know it's training camp and the energy is gonna
- 29:23Speaker 10: be high, but you gotta treat it like any other
- 29:25Speaker 10: work that he.
- 29:26Speaker 7: Says, the best you've ever felt in the camp.
- 29:28Speaker 10: Yeah, just being up here For the ones that don't know,
- 29:32Speaker 10: I trained here at the Jets facility, So just being
- 29:35Speaker 10: up here and the coaches knowing everything that I need
- 29:37Speaker 10: to work at and everything that I.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Just need to get better at, it's easier.
- 29:41Speaker 5: You know.
- 29:41Speaker 10: Obviously I live in Jersey, and you know, probably like
- 29:44Speaker 10: a couple of weeks after the last game, I was
- 29:47Speaker 10: back to it, you know what I'm saying, And like
- 29:49Speaker 10: the majority of the league probably take a few weeks,
- 29:52Speaker 10: three or four weeks or probably even longer, but you know,
- 29:55Speaker 10: I trusted the process. I trusted what they said by
- 29:58Speaker 10: just taking like a couple of weeks a week or
- 30:00Speaker 10: two often getting back to it, and you know, I'm
- 30:02Speaker 10: feeling great.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I think that's really interesting because I think most of
- 30:04Speaker 1: the league goes to Miami, Arizona.
- 30:07Speaker 2: You know, they're down in Texas. You could be anywhere.
- 30:10Speaker 1: You're a Detroit native, right, you could be anywhere you
- 30:13Speaker 1: choose to stay in Floria Park, New Jersey during the
- 30:16Speaker 1: winter months and train here. What's that mean about? What's
- 30:19Speaker 1: I tell you about your commitment to this team in
- 30:20Speaker 1: this building right here?
- 30:21Speaker 10: Man, I have a huge amount of commitment to this team.
- 30:24Speaker 2: And it's not just me.
- 30:25Speaker 10: It's the commitment that the coaches have to me as well.
- 30:28Speaker 10: You know the fact that they have my best interest
- 30:31Speaker 10: vice versa. And you know, like I said, me just
- 30:33Speaker 10: trusting the process and them just instilling all the things
- 30:36Speaker 10: in me that I need to learn, and me just
- 30:38Speaker 10: soaking up all of the knowledge and just getting stronger
- 30:41Speaker 10: in the weight room, getting faster.
- 30:42Speaker 2: And more explosive.
- 30:43Speaker 4: All of that.
- 30:44Speaker 6: I'm interested because's like, you've done so well in your
- 30:46Speaker 6: young career. You're already respected, you're already heralded. All the
- 30:49Speaker 6: conversations about best Corner eight you talk about you.
- 30:52Speaker 2: So it would be very easy to.
- 30:54Speaker 6: Be like, I'm good, Like I'll go to Hawaii for
- 30:56Speaker 6: a while, I'll chill. But and yet you're doubling down.
- 30:58Speaker 6: What is it you're trying to get to? Like what
- 31:00Speaker 6: do you want to be?
- 31:01Speaker 10: Man?
- 31:01Speaker 2: It's like I really don't know. Yeah, I want to
- 31:05Speaker 2: get to a point.
- 31:06Speaker 10: But I can't even imagine, you know, in my mind,
- 31:08Speaker 10: like you mentioned, like why my first time going out
- 31:12Speaker 10: the country is gonna be when we play the Vikings, So.
- 31:14Speaker 4: Is that right?
- 31:14Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 31:15Speaker 10: I don't really take trips, you know, cause I feel
- 31:17Speaker 10: like it's just me personally. I don't have nothing against
- 31:19Speaker 10: people who take trips.
- 31:20Speaker 2: To me personally.
- 31:21Speaker 10: I just feel like you too comfortable with your lifestyle
- 31:26Speaker 10: or are you trying to escape your lifestyle by going
- 31:27Speaker 10: out the country. I always want to be to a
- 31:30Speaker 10: point where if I want to, I can go train
- 31:33Speaker 10: and I can do certain things instead of me just
- 31:35Speaker 10: being out the country and is like, man, I can't
- 31:36Speaker 10: wait till I get back so I could train, you know.
- 31:38Speaker 2: So that's my reason.
- 31:40Speaker 1: There's so much focus in the media and especially on
- 31:44Speaker 1: our network and on ESPN about Aaron and Garrett and
- 31:47Speaker 1: Brice Hall. You guys have a nasty defense. And when
- 31:52Speaker 1: we're talking about Quinn and Quincy and c. J. Mosley
- 31:54Speaker 1: and yourself and all the other guys that you have
- 31:56Speaker 1: around you, talk about that defense and tell us about
- 32:00Speaker 1: what you guys have coming for twenty twenty four.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Man, we got a strong brotherhood. That's what I'm start with.
- 32:07Speaker 10: You know, it's not all about the football aspect of
- 32:09Speaker 10: each individual.
- 32:10Speaker 2: It's about the person. You know.
- 32:12Speaker 10: We got a cool group of people, you know in
- 32:13Speaker 10: that defense, not just the defense, the whole team. So
- 32:16Speaker 10: you know, as a defense, we're looking forward to add
- 32:18Speaker 10: oning where we left when we left off last season
- 32:21Speaker 10: and just continuing to get better.
- 32:22Speaker 6: It feels like a lot of the hype and hubbub
- 32:24Speaker 6: coming out of training camp early.
- 32:26Speaker 7: Is oh my god, Rogers is on fire.
- 32:28Speaker 6: Touchdown here, the ball live hit the grownding through this
- 32:30Speaker 6: many red zone touchdowns and that's great because that's your guy.
- 32:33Speaker 6: But like, eventually, are you like I'm gonna grab one,
- 32:36Speaker 6: Like enough of this, Like that's time to grab one.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Man, I'm gonna be honest, Like it's so hard to
- 32:42Speaker 2: intercept him.
- 32:42Speaker 7: He doesn't throw interceptions.
- 32:44Speaker 2: He don't throw interceptions, Like what is different about him?
- 32:47Speaker 2: So he can he's one of them quarterbacks.
- 32:49Speaker 10: He can put the ball exactly where you want to
- 32:51Speaker 10: put the ball.
- 32:51Speaker 2: So he's gonna throw it to where the receiver can
- 32:54Speaker 2: catch it.
- 32:55Speaker 10: And you know, me, like I got long arms, so
- 32:57Speaker 10: when I'm in good position, it's like the worst I
- 33:00Speaker 10: could do is PBu with But it's even hard to
- 33:02Speaker 10: even do that going against him, like he would rather
- 33:04Speaker 10: the ball go out of mounds if the receiver on
- 33:06Speaker 10: has the ball and put it to where it's a
- 33:08Speaker 10: fifty to fifty ball across the middle or on the
- 33:10Speaker 10: outride or something like that, and you know.
- 33:12Speaker 2: It just good work.
- 33:13Speaker 10: You know, as a defense, we call him a liar
- 33:16Speaker 10: because a lot of times where he's looking and it's
- 33:18Speaker 10: not where the ball is going. So just he helped
- 33:22Speaker 10: the whole defense have better I discipline, and you know,
- 33:24Speaker 10: he just make us.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Better at each and every day.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Last last offseason when he signed with the Jets or
- 33:29Speaker 1: he was traded and we had this this Aaron Rodgers offseason,
- 33:32Speaker 1: you and him went to the nickname Sack Courtsidne, went
- 33:34Speaker 1: to Carbone, had dinner.
- 33:36Speaker 4: You guys hit it off.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Now it's not like you guys are two years apart,
- 33:40Speaker 1: seventeen years apart. What's the relationship between you and Aaron Rodgers.
- 33:44Speaker 10: It's like, I'm surprised every time somebody tell me he's
- 33:47Speaker 10: forty because he don't really act like it. Like he
- 33:51Speaker 10: acts very mature, but he don't act like a forty
- 33:54Speaker 10: year older. You know, he got swag, He cool, you know,
- 33:57Speaker 10: a great sense of humor. You know, he's a funny cat.
- 34:01Speaker 10: So you know, we have a great relationship. You know,
- 34:03Speaker 10: I can talk to him about anything. He can talk
- 34:05Speaker 10: to me about anything will So I'm in the process.
- 34:08Speaker 10: I was building a home and he was just telling
- 34:10Speaker 10: me the things that I need to get in it,
- 34:12Speaker 10: you know, recovery wise, and I'm like, hey, he really
- 34:14Speaker 10: cared about me in my recovery and my body.
- 34:16Speaker 4: And stuff like that.
- 34:17Speaker 6: So I remember when he was with the Packers, there
- 34:19Speaker 6: would become a point where some of his really young
- 34:21Speaker 6: teammates were like, I don't get his references, like he
- 34:24Speaker 6: references the big Lebowski and like stuff that I don't know.
- 34:27Speaker 6: So when he jokes with you, like does does he
- 34:29Speaker 6: mix in the young content or timeless stuff like what
- 34:32Speaker 6: is the material?
- 34:33Speaker 2: Nah, he don't really.
- 34:34Speaker 10: I don't think he does things like that, you know,
- 34:37Speaker 10: with me or any of the other younger guys, because
- 34:41Speaker 10: he probably just know that we won't understand it.
- 34:45Speaker 4: He's talking to hacking and doubting.
- 34:46Speaker 7: Yeah, tied the room together.
- 34:51Speaker 2: So the things he say I can relate with.
- 34:54Speaker 6: You know, when when he says it all right, well, listen,
- 34:58Speaker 6: Rogers is forty You know who's thirty.
- 35:00Speaker 7: Tyreek Hill.
- 35:01Speaker 6: Tyreek Hill was just named the number one player in
- 35:05Speaker 6: all of the NFL, as voted on by you guys,
- 35:07Speaker 6: the players you guard him a couple of times a year,
- 35:10Speaker 6: maybe three times a year. What was it like reacting
- 35:13Speaker 6: to that news for you? The number one player in
- 35:14Speaker 6: the NFL is the Dolphins wide receiver.
- 35:16Speaker 10: Man, It's crazy, cause I've been looking through comments of
- 35:20Speaker 10: like other other people just to see, like are these
- 35:24Speaker 10: other players getting hate? Like I'll be receiving hate, And
- 35:26Speaker 10: I'm just like, hey, there's really a lot of people
- 35:29Speaker 10: saying that he don't deserve to be the number one player,
- 35:30Speaker 10: And like it shocked me a little bit, you know,
- 35:33Speaker 10: but me personally, I think it's well deserved. You know,
- 35:38Speaker 10: you got defense, You got guys who gotta change their
- 35:40Speaker 10: whole defense because of him. You know, he's been around
- 35:43Speaker 10: for a minute, and uh, he's a guy that's hard
- 35:45Speaker 10: to guard. You know, He's gonna present a challenge every time.
- 35:47Speaker 10: And like I said, I think he deserves it. I
- 35:50Speaker 10: see he change this contract up a little bit. My
- 35:54Speaker 10: time to lead that that's a lot of money. Yeah,
- 35:56Speaker 10: that's a lot of money.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Like I was lost the words when I've seen that.
- 36:00Speaker 7: You're never lost for words.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Man.
- 36:03Speaker 10: I was like, he's really just changing this contract left
- 36:06Speaker 10: right for real every off season.
- 36:07Speaker 2: A lot of money.
- 36:08Speaker 4: Yes, keep on saying how much money is it?
- 36:12Speaker 2: I think it was like, what was it thirty a
- 36:14Speaker 2: year three?
- 36:15Speaker 7: It's a lot of money.
- 36:16Speaker 6: But honestly, thots like, I'm not saying this because you're here,
- 36:19Speaker 6: like you've played well against him and people out there,
- 36:22Speaker 6: and the numbers are out there and the fans know it.
- 36:24Speaker 6: You do better against Tyreek than most corners do.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Why, I don't know. I feel like I can't.
- 36:31Speaker 10: I can't say like I'm more locked in when I
- 36:33Speaker 10: play against him, because I'm always locked in.
- 36:36Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 36:37Speaker 10: Just my preparation throughout the week, you know, going out
- 36:40Speaker 10: there on Sundays or whatever days we play, and just
- 36:43Speaker 10: trusting my preparation because you know you're gonna fall back
- 36:45Speaker 10: my preparation when the lights get the writers.
- 36:48Speaker 1: So you mentioned Rogers. One of rogers great passions is
- 36:51Speaker 1: the sport of golf.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 36:53Speaker 1: We're looking at your off season content threat the best,
- 36:55Speaker 1: and you're picking up the callaways, you're hitting the ball
- 36:58Speaker 1: and you have a perfect stroke out of the gates,
- 37:00Speaker 1: like your technique is perfect. It's very frustrating for a
- 37:03Speaker 1: man like myself who has taken lessons, who goes out
- 37:06Speaker 1: to the driving range.
- 37:08Speaker 2: I'm terrible. Yeah, so good.
- 37:11Speaker 1: He's still thinking about Trek's money, like Tyreek.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Thirty millions much. I'm trying to get that in. It was,
- 37:18Speaker 2: it was understood.
- 37:19Speaker 3: It was.
- 37:21Speaker 1: To say the golf When did you pick it up?
- 37:24Speaker 2: And how into it were you this off season?
- 37:27Speaker 1: And what have you heard from the golf community, because you.
- 37:30Speaker 5: Know, here's what.
- 37:34Speaker 7: A lot of suggests.
- 37:35Speaker 4: So what was your experience of the golf world?
- 37:37Speaker 2: So I picked it up at the beginning of the
- 37:40Speaker 2: off season.
- 37:40Speaker 10: I want to say the beginning of the off season
- 37:43Speaker 10: or the middle of the off season.
- 37:45Speaker 2: It was one of those.
- 37:46Speaker 10: But you know, I was just so overwhelmed, you know
- 37:50Speaker 10: when I went to play, because I already knew I
- 37:52Speaker 10: wasn't gonna gonna do good, you know, you know, my
- 37:55Speaker 10: first damn gates. No, So I had to go play
- 37:57Speaker 10: a course like I shot like one hundred and something. Well,
- 38:00Speaker 10: you know, it was hurting, humbling sports.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it humbled me.
- 38:04Speaker 10: And you know me, I just record my swing or
- 38:07Speaker 10: take pictures and just I put it on Twitter because
- 38:10Speaker 10: I'm the type of person.
- 38:11Speaker 2: I'm not a Hollywood type athlete.
- 38:13Speaker 10: I would really like interacting with people and making people's day,
- 38:17Speaker 10: you know. But there was just so many people that
- 38:20Speaker 10: was just saying, you need to do this, you need
- 38:22Speaker 10: to do that. And mind you, I'm on the course
- 38:24Speaker 10: looking so I'm like, okay, you're reading some guy around
- 38:30Speaker 10: and I'm like, this does makes sense right here. So
- 38:32Speaker 10: I'm putting it to use and I'm like, oh, that
- 38:34Speaker 10: kind of worked a little bit. So ill versed mine again.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Thank you for thank you for getting double POKEE eleven
- 38:39Speaker 1: says that should change.
- 38:39Speaker 2: My sweet Okay, I will.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:41Speaker 10: So I was going I was going through it and
- 38:43Speaker 10: then I found I found a guy named Aaron who
- 38:47Speaker 10: he trained guys like Rook, Max Mitchell, Jeremy Rucker, Max
- 38:52Speaker 10: Mitchell and those.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Two of the best golfers on the team.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, he got me right.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Have you have you played with anyone cool? Have you
- 39:00Speaker 1: had a chance to get out on the course. I
- 39:02Speaker 1: know what season were locked down, but has there been
- 39:04Speaker 1: a cool golf experience since you picked up? Because I
- 39:06Speaker 1: even I know my my golfriend's like he saw Scardner's
- 39:09Speaker 1: playing golf. Do you think he wants to play like
- 39:10Speaker 1: our club like you and like no, no, no, guys,
- 39:12Speaker 1: he doesn't want to play josh as after playing with Tiger.
- 39:16Speaker 10: No, that's what I'm saying. I'm not one of those
- 39:17Speaker 10: type of guys. Like I went to the course up
- 39:20Speaker 10: the street, Pittsbrook, Okay, and I got it to the
- 39:23Speaker 10: point where every time I went, I was playing with
- 39:25Speaker 10: one of the younger guys that worked there.
- 39:27Speaker 7: The pros or something, the golf pro.
- 39:29Speaker 2: No, I don't know.
- 39:30Speaker 7: He's probably like an amateur, drives the ball cart.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Yeah, so I was playing. I was playing with him.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Cool guy. I played golf.
- 39:37Speaker 4: Wo was solid.
- 39:38Speaker 2: I didn't know Solo was good.
- 39:39Speaker 4: And he got big off the t right, come on,
- 39:42Speaker 4: he's nice.
- 39:44Speaker 2: I wasn't expecting it. I heard I heard a lot
- 39:47Speaker 2: about him. But you know, he got a good.
- 39:49Speaker 4: Swing, Oh my god.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Disciplined, very disciplined.
- 39:53Speaker 7: He's got a good swing. He's got a great corner.
- 39:54Speaker 7: He got a great team.
- 39:56Speaker 4: The Beasts so fun.
- 39:57Speaker 7: You're just so chilled and so relaxed and so good
- 40:02Speaker 7: us in the entire NFL. He loves Northern New Jersey and.
- 40:09Speaker 4: We love you you got a.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Couple of things on Sauce Gardener, because if you're listening,
- 40:13Speaker 1: you don't get the full visual. He comes in with
- 40:15Speaker 1: the full grill, comes in with the bedazzled slides on,
- 40:21Speaker 1: and you're like, all right, sauce Gardener, where the crazy
- 40:23Speaker 1: gold chain of like the hot sauce at the at
- 40:26Speaker 1: the draft. Like this guy's got a huge personality. Then
- 40:29Speaker 1: you listen to him, he's like an old soul, Like
- 40:32Speaker 1: he's just smart and he's hard working and he's grounded.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Couple notes from that interview. One he chooses to spend
- 40:39Speaker 1: his off seasons living in Florham Park, New Jersey. Now
- 40:43Speaker 1: you might think, okay, of course he's a jet in
- 40:46Speaker 1: like New York City. He spends his off he does
- 40:48Speaker 1: not spend it. He doesn't go to the city much.
- 40:50Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like he's a city guy. He spends
- 40:53Speaker 1: it in the suburbs of floram Park, New Jersey, which,
- 40:56Speaker 1: having just been there, is strip mall after strip mall
- 41:00Speaker 1: after strip mall, Starbucks, Panera, bread, dunkin Donuts, chop salad,
- 41:05Speaker 1: like that's what we're talking about. And he does that
- 41:08Speaker 1: because he's committed to being at the Jets facility every
- 41:10Speaker 1: days where he trains. So a lot of these guys
- 41:12Speaker 1: go to Arizona, they go to Florida, they go to Hawaii,
- 41:14Speaker 1: they go to Mikonos. This dude chooses to be in
- 41:18Speaker 1: Jersey as a young kid. You heard him in the interview.
- 41:21Speaker 1: He's never been outside the country.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Never.
- 41:23Speaker 1: He's going week five when they play the Vikings, and
- 41:25Speaker 1: it's like, that's gonna be the first trip outside the country,
- 41:28Speaker 1: first trip to Europe, first role, global experience for him.
- 41:31Speaker 1: And it's like, he's just not that guy as much
- 41:33Speaker 1: as you think he's flashy, and he's like, you know,
- 41:36Speaker 1: Sauce Gardener, and he's got the nickname, and he plays
- 41:38Speaker 1: with you know, he doesn't have a big mouth. He's
- 41:41Speaker 1: very self spoken, and I think he is just so
- 41:43Speaker 1: dedicated to his craft. I loved talking to Sauce today. Second,
- 41:49Speaker 1: he must have mentioned Tyreek Hill's new contract a thousand times. No,
- 41:53Speaker 1: in all honesty, probably about five or six times. And
- 41:56Speaker 1: Tyreek has reset the barometer for what we're making as
- 42:00Speaker 1: a receiver. I think Sauce Gardner, who's gonna be up
- 42:02Speaker 1: for a contract rather soon, is gonna set the standard
- 42:05Speaker 1: for what we're paying Corners, and I don't think he
- 42:07Speaker 1: is being subtle about it, like he wants to get
- 42:11Speaker 1: paid and he's going to do it this year. The
- 42:14Speaker 1: Rogers Sasus relationships interesting seventeen year difference, and yet these
- 42:18Speaker 1: two guys, they seem like they're really good friends. And
- 42:21Speaker 1: Saw said it there, like Rogers is just cool. He's
- 42:24Speaker 1: cool and he relates to the younger guys, and I
- 42:26Speaker 1: think that's.
- 42:27Speaker 4: Gonna be key.
- 42:28Speaker 1: My closing thought on the Jets and why I think
- 42:32Speaker 1: they're winning now team when they had to find a
- 42:35Speaker 1: backup quarterback, they didn't draft a rookie in the second round.
- 42:38Speaker 1: They didn't go They signed Tyrod Taylor and they gave
- 42:41Speaker 1: him real money and he's thirty five years old. That
- 42:44Speaker 1: tells me they win now because last year they had
- 42:47Speaker 1: Zach Wilson and it wasn't like they were caught with
- 42:49Speaker 1: their pants down. Zak Wilson was number two overall pick
- 42:51Speaker 1: and it started a bunch of games in this league,
- 42:53Speaker 1: but it just wasn't happening. It was they couldn't get
- 42:56Speaker 1: to where they needed to be. This year, they leave
- 42:58Speaker 1: no room for error. They bring in Tyrod, who I
- 43:00Speaker 1: was watching today and is dialed in and looks great
- 43:02Speaker 1: like if Rogers, God forbid goes down. And I don't
- 43:04Speaker 1: even like saying it out loud, but he is. It's
- 43:06Speaker 1: a forty year old guy coming off from Achilles. Tyrod
- 43:09Speaker 1: Taylor can win you games. They are not here to
- 43:12Speaker 1: just kind of put up some defensive effort and not
- 43:15Speaker 1: score points. Tyrod can move the ball. And you know what,
- 43:17Speaker 1: they got him from the Crosstown Giants because they paid
- 43:19Speaker 1: him more. Tyrod Taylor's legit, and he's a legit. Number two.
- 43:22Speaker 1: You're talking about a skill position bonanza with what they've
- 43:25Speaker 1: got on offense. And then of course you've got this
- 43:28Speaker 1: loaded defense at all three levels, and we heard three
- 43:30Speaker 1: of them just now. It's hard for me not to
- 43:32Speaker 1: fall in love with the Jets. And it might be
- 43:34Speaker 1: just recency bias. It might just be well they're local
- 43:37Speaker 1: and you're in the mix. I don't know. I look
- 43:39Speaker 1: at the perfect storm here. Jets have this great vibe
- 43:43Speaker 1: going under the radar. Bills this offseason lost Digs, they
- 43:46Speaker 1: lost Gabe Davis. The Dolphins they lost you know, Christian
- 43:50Speaker 1: Wilkins and Xavian Howard and Van Ginkel, and then of
- 43:53Speaker 1: course the Patriots are in pure rebuilding mode, like this
- 43:56Speaker 1: is the year that the Jets should win the AFC East.
- 43:58Speaker 1: They should at least compete with the Dolphins and Bills,
- 44:01Speaker 1: and they may be on paper, are better than both.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Those are my dispatches from Jets camp. I am playing.
- 44:06Speaker 1: I'm being at Giants camp tomorrow joint practice Lions and Giants.
- 44:10Speaker 1: I can give my takeaways. Aaron, do you think we
- 44:12Speaker 1: could swing this tomorrow for a podcast.
- 44:13Speaker 3: Yeah, as long as you promised me that you're gonna
- 44:16Speaker 3: do like a field goal kick while you're there or something.
- 44:19Speaker 1: You got to show up Kyle, now I think yeah, no, no, no, no, no,
- 44:22Speaker 1: don't dude. That's that's Kyle. That let him be the physical.
- 44:26Speaker 1: I am the intellectual, the guy with the insights. Kyle
- 44:29Speaker 1: is the creative. He's the one who does things like
- 44:31Speaker 1: throw forty yard passes to Aaron Rodgers. I wouldn't even
- 44:33Speaker 1: dare attempt it. I appreciate you hopping on. I hope
- 44:40Speaker 1: you Jets fans can get excited from this. Those are
- 44:42Speaker 1: three great interviews, three great players, and the sky is
- 44:44Speaker 1: the limit. But of course it's early August. We're recording
- 44:48Speaker 1: this on Monday, August fifth. This is an annual tradition
- 44:50Speaker 1: getting excited about the Jets.
- 44:51Speaker 4: I'm no dummy.
- 44:52Speaker 1: I know how this usually goes. Buyer beware, and yet
- 44:56Speaker 1: I think I'm falling in love. Till next time. This
- 44:59Speaker 1: is Peter Scherger. This this season will continue to be
- 45:01Speaker 1: filing these dispatches.
- 45:02Speaker 4: From the road.
- 45:09Speaker 1: The Season with Peter Schrager is a production of the
- 45:12Speaker 1: NFL and partnership with iHeartRadio. For more podcasts from iHeartRadio,
