Sometimes life happens, and instead of stepping into the future God has for us, we retreat into a place of hiding.
In Judges 6, Israel found themselves hiding because of the Midianites. Gideon was hiding in a winepress, afraid of what would happen if he was seen. But God met Gideon right there and called him something he couldn't yet see in himself:
A mighty man of valor.
God may be speaking the same thing to you today.
You are not your past. You are not the worst decision you've ever made. You are not the mistakes you've committed. And you are not beyond repair.
