  feels heavy. Have you ever reached a point

  where you just felt emotionally exhausted?

  Not physically tired, but soul tired.
• 0:20
  The kind of tired that comes from constant pressure,
• 0:23
  friendship, tension, school stress, financial worries,
• 0:26
  family issues. And you quietly wonder, does God
• 0:28
  even see this? Job knew that weight in Job
• 0:32
  chapter 19 verse 25, in the middle of deep suffering,
• 0:36
  betrayal and misunderstanding, he said something powerful for I
• 0:40
  know that my Redeemer lives and at the last he will stand upon
• 0:44
  the earth. Notice he didn't say I feel like
• 0:47
  my Redeemer lives. He said I know his circumstances
• 0:52
  were falling apart, but his confidence in God was.
• 0:55
  Psalm 28 verse 7 says the Lord is my strength and my shield.

  In Him my heart trusts and I am helped.
• 1:02
  A shield doesn't remove the battle, it protects you in the
• 1:05
  middle of it. God being your strength doesn't
• 1:09
  mean you won't feel weak. It means your weakness isn't the
• 1:12
  end of the story. And then Proverbs chapter 12
• 1:15
  verse one says whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but
• 1:18
  he who hates reproof is stupid. That's blunt, but it's honest.

  Sometimes the heaviness we feel is connected to correction,
• 1:27
  growth, or lessons we didn't want to learn.
• 1:30
  Discipline doesn't always feel good, but it produces wisdom.
• 1:34
  The question is, will we resist it or receive it?
• 1:37
  Hard seasons often carry hidden lessons.
• 1:40
  Maybe you've walked through something painful that taught
• 1:42
  you patience. Maybe disappointment taught you
• 1:45
  humility. Maybe failure taught you
• 1:47
  dependence on God. Growth rarely happens in
• 1:50
  comfort. It often happens in the weight.
• 1:53
  When life feels heavy, it's tempting to withdraw or try to
• 1:57
  fix everything yourself. But leaning on God means
• 2:00
  admitting you need Him. It means praying honestly
• 2:03
  instead of pretending you're fine.
• 2:05
  It means opening Scripture even when your emotions are loud.
• 2:09
  It means saying, God, I trust you to be my shield, even if the
• 2:13
  battle isn't over. Job declared hope before he saw
• 2:16
  restoration. That's mature faith.
• 2:19
  Faith that doesn't wait for evidence to believe.
• 2:22
  Faith that says I know my Redeemer lives even when I don't
• 2:25
  yet see the outcome. You may not see how your story
• 2:28
  ends right now, but you can know who holds it.
• 2:32
  And that changes everything. The heaviness you feel today is
• 2:35
  not permanent. The God who strengthens you is.
• 2:38
  The shield around you is real, and your Redeemer is alive.
• 2:43
  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, when life feels
• 2:45
  overwhelming and heavy, remind me that you are my strength and
• 2:49
  my shield. Teach me to trust You instead of
• 2:51
  leaning only on myself. Help me receive correction and
• 2:55
  grow through challenges. And like Job, give me the
• 2:58
  confidence to say I know my Redeemer lives.

  Hold me steady in hope even before I see the breakthrough in
• 3:05
  Jesus name, Amen. What if the most important
• 3:09
  question in your life deserves more than a shallow answer?

  My relatives have gone away. My familiar friends have

  forgotten me. Those who dwell in my house and

  my maids consider me a stranger. I am an alien in their sight.

  I call to my servant and he gives me no answer.

  I beg him with my mouth. My breath is offensive to my

  wife. I am loathsome to the children
• 8:34
  of my own mother. Even young children despise me.

  If I arise, they speak against me.

  All my familiar friends abhor me.

  They whom I loved have turned against me.

  My bones stick to my skin and to my flesh.

  I have escaped by the skin of my teeth.

  Have pity on me. Have pity on me, you, my

  friends, for the hand of God has touched me.

  Why do you persecute me as God and are not satisfied with my

  flesh? Oh, that my words were now

  written. Oh that they were inscribed in a

  book that with an iron pen and lead they were engraved in the

  rock forever. But As for me, I know that my

  Redeemer lives in the end. He will stand upon the earth

  after my skin is destroyed. Then I will see God in my flesh,

  whom I even I will see on my side.

  My eyes will see and not as a stranger.
• 9:20
  My heart is consumed within me. If you say how we will persecute
• 9:24
  Him because the root of the matter is found in me, Be afraid
• 9:27
  of the sword, for wrath brings the punishments of the sword,
• 9:30
  that you may know there is a judgement.
